Starting point is 00:02:50 Hey, what's happening? Welcome to Wednesday show. Morning studio. Morning. Hey, just a little tip. 911, not a joke. Probably shouldn't call it unless it's a real emergency. And you don't like the president.
Starting point is 00:03:14 Okay, we get it. That's probably not the place to call 911 and let them know because they'll get you put in jail. Pinellas County man who called 911 to say that President Joe Biden needed to be placed in jail was arrested himself and put him jail himself. Oh, my goodness. Jacob Philebeck 29 was arrested for calling 911 dispatchers
Starting point is 00:03:33 to say that El Chott needed to be freed from prison. and President Biden needed to be placed in prison. Oh my gosh. By the way, Lchop's like a murder. Yeah, no, no, no. El Chapo? Yeah. Do you think that's what it is?
Starting point is 00:03:44 El Chop? I assume that's what we're calling him for short. So then he called again, because they said, hey, this is an emergency line. Don't call, click. Then he called again, said the same thing, so then they arrested him. You just can't misuse 911. Right. That's the general story there.
Starting point is 00:04:00 I thought when you first started this story, I thought you were to say lunchbox called 911 again. Oh, he does all the time, but he calls it for real reasons. Real reasons. I mean, domestic disturbances, fires, car wrecks. Neighbors having graduation parties. Yeah, exactly. They boked the COVID. During COVID.
Starting point is 00:04:14 That still is the most caring thing anyone on the show has ever done. Ever. No. All right, we're glad you were here. You know, we have a new segment that it's tough for me to decide on these because I know they're just not going to be that entertaining. But we have something now to set it up. Go ahead, Ray.
Starting point is 00:04:31 The Bobby Bone Show talks about something boring. So boring. All right, Amy, go ahead with your egg thing you want to talk about. Well, I was buying eggs, and I noticed something on a carton that I haven't ever noticed before, and it was outdoor access. Like, the chickens that laid these eggs have outdoor access. And I thought, well, I've heard of cage-free, and what does outdoor access mean? And so I spent time researching, and it means that they have access to an outdoor area.
Starting point is 00:05:01 All right. That's just, no. It's so boring. We shut it down. Thank you. It defines it. these chickens they get eight hours outside. That's the minimum.
Starting point is 00:05:09 So like they can't be defined as outdoor access unless they've roamed for eight hours. And some chickens they get to row. No, that's the rule. We do it, but you have to shut it down when the buzzer shut you off. Everybody went back to sleep. I know this is stuff nobody cares about,
Starting point is 00:05:23 but it's just next time you go to the store, you'll know. But you told it. We got it all. Okay, what is outdoor access? They have eight hours to go out to you. Now you know, because I completed it. You cut me off. I don't think I've ever seen that on a cart and that. Yeah, look for it now.
Starting point is 00:05:36 Okay. The Bobby Bone Show talks about something boring. So boring. Thank you, Amy. Let's get started with the show here. See, it's hard to find those. But the rule is, it would never make the air unless we play that ahead of it. But you have to stop talking when it buzzes.
Starting point is 00:05:54 Myself included. Okay. Myself included. Okay. All right. All right. All right, it's time to open up the mailbag. You send an email and we read it all the air.
Starting point is 00:06:05 It's something we call Bobby's Mailbag. Hello, Bobby Bones. I've been seeing this girl for about three months. And honestly, she's great. She's funny. She's witty. She's always up for a good time. That being said, recently we spent the night together for the first time.
Starting point is 00:06:19 And around 4 o'clock in the morning, I woke up to her peeing the bed. What? I woke her up and she was super apologetic about it, but she didn't seem to embarrass. She admitted that she struggled with a bedwetting into her mid-teens, and now she does it occasionally when she drinks. Why are you shaking your head already? No, it's over. That's a deal breaker. See you later.
Starting point is 00:06:42 Like, I mean, you might be a great woman. It may be, it's over. Like, the minute I find out you're peeing the, okay, and I can't help it. I'm not attracted to you anymore. Can't help it. Let me finish it. Let me finish it. Oh, my gosh. Back to the email.
Starting point is 00:06:55 I understand that some people just can't hold their liquor as well as others. And I also understand that people have certain issues, they can't control. I certainly don't want to embarrass her. Shame her. But it seems to me if she knows, that she does this when she gets drunk, maybe she should stop getting drunk. There you go.
Starting point is 00:07:08 Like I said, she's super fun and this doesn't seem to bother her. Am I wrong for letting it bother me? I don't want to call it off over something so trivial, but it just feels like a lack of good judgment on her part. Also, she didn't say anything beforehand. If she knew this was a problem, I think I should have gotten a heads up. Should I ignore it or say something?
Starting point is 00:07:27 Signed, can't go with the flow. Okay, okay, buddy. Since you've already raised your hand, lunchbox and speaking out, I'll let you go first. Yeah, this guy, there's nothing trivial about it. Like, I mean, try walking up to her while she's cooking dinner and just pee on her and just pee on her leg. See how she likes it. But that's not...
Starting point is 00:07:41 No, no, just say, I can't help it. You know what I mean? When I see food, I have to pee. But you can. I'm sorry, but this is not trivial. There is nothing wrong with saying goodbye because she pees on you at night. I guess the question is, how much do you like her? Not enough. We're not talking about you.
Starting point is 00:07:58 How many mattresses you get to buy? I mean, that's, I mean, she has to have like a kid mattress pad. Like, that's so good. Gross. Out. I would say this obviously bothers you email her. Mr. Kent can't go to flow. It bothers you. It's how much does it bother you? And I think it's getting a heads up next time. I don't know that I would
Starting point is 00:08:17 let this one time run the whole thing. I think if she just does it all willy-nilly and she's not really taking care of herself and she's just peeing every day all night, that's a problem. I think though if she, oh, sorry this happened. This does happen. and you'd be like, oh, cool, just let me know next time. We'll make sure to... Wear my swimsuit. Something.
Starting point is 00:08:37 I mean, I don't think it's worth breaking it off if you do really like her. If you're looking for a reason, sure, you have one now. If you're looking for a reason. But I don't think someone's medical condition is reason enough to break up with them. Although it is kind of gross. Would you stay with them? Yeah. You would?
Starting point is 00:08:55 If it's once and it was like, oh, man, I messed up. By the way, for now on, this is what happens to me if I do blank. I could live with that and I would help monitor that. But it would be tough. Tonight we're going to drink, all right? It will be tough. I'll be sleeping in the guest room.
Starting point is 00:09:10 All right, wrap yourself in a tarp. All right, let's do some, let's do some shots. If you're looking for my answer, go with the flow, but go with the flow conditionally. That she can't do that anymore and you have to help her. Check in before you go to sleep.
Starting point is 00:09:28 Okay? That's what I say. No reason to dump her for this. Thank you for the email. That's tough, though. Oh, man. It's tough to get it out of a bed, though, too. Yeah. Just, my dog would sleep with me in the bed.
Starting point is 00:09:39 He'd accidentally pee sometimes. It would take forever to get that stuff out of the bed. How'd you do all kinds of different ways? There's definitely a solution, though. There are adult diapers. If you're going to drink. Oh, can you imagine you put on her. Hey, man.
Starting point is 00:09:49 They're like, depend, like pull-ups. Yeah, do what you got to do, right? Which is grosser. Her wearing adult diapers to bed every night that she drinks are her peeing once out of every 10 episodes. I think dealing with a wet bed is worse than wearing a bag. Okay. Stay with her. Don't let this ruin it unless you're looking for a reason out already.
Starting point is 00:10:10 All right, that's the mailbag. Thank you. Close it up. We've got your email and we've read it on the air. Now it's about to close Bobby's mailbag. Yeah. Let's go over and talk to Shaney in Oklahoma City who's on the phone right now. Hey, good morning.
Starting point is 00:10:25 Good morning. What's happening? You know, I was, I've been listening to you guys. the last couple of days, talk about you getting your doctorate. And I keep giggling at lunchbox because he is so frustrated with you getting that degree. But this is also the man that the most work he puts into making it to be a millionaire is buying lottery tickets. So, I mean, one day he may be a millionaire. But then he's just going to be surrounded by a bunch of people that are going to look at him and go, well, what did he do for that money?
Starting point is 00:11:00 Well, it's also, is he ever going to win a lottery? Yeah, at least I did something to win the lottery. I had to put in hours of effort and go to the gas station and spend my own money. Bobby was just given something. But in hours and hours of effort working and contributing that they said here is this honorary degree. Actually, way more than you putting in money into the lottery. I mean, I worked. You did nothing with the lottery.
Starting point is 00:11:21 It's just you spending money. So the lottery should give me an honorary doctorate. That would be nice. I love it. That would be great. I encourage that. Ask them. Yes.
Starting point is 00:11:29 I don't think they can give doctors or an honorary winning check. I mean, how money would that be? Honorary Millionaire. You're an honorary millionaire. That would be awesome. And I'd sign up for that. Okay, we're going to play a game. Would you like to play, Shaney?
Starting point is 00:11:42 Absolutely, I'm done. Okay, what we're going to do is, if Amy wins this game for you, you want a $50 Sonic Gift card. Now, Shane, you can play too, but it's a listening game, and I'm not sure how good your phone connection is. So Amy's going to play. You guys can talk about it.
Starting point is 00:11:56 Now, we've been playing some of these ASMR videos. They get millions of views on YouTube. And so it's where someone goes, okay, now I'm gonna comb my hair. And they comb their hair real close to a microphone and you hear that sound. And apparently people like it. Weird, but okay. I've got three clips of these ASMR people eating something. Amy, you have to guess what they're eating. Okay. Okay, this first one is from ASMR fan. The video has 2.8 million views. Let's see if you can guess what they're eating. I feel like it's cereal because it does. I mean, it could be a chip. Could be chips. But I I feel like chips have a different type of crunch, and that's more like...
Starting point is 00:12:41 Would you like to hear it again? Serial, but maybe I'm getting too specific, yes. Hear it up one more time. How people listen to this stuff for like their enjoyment? I don't know. I feel like it's cereal, it's dry cereal, and then I feel like that's too specific, so I'd probably... Chips. Is Chips your answer?
Starting point is 00:13:04 Yes. Amy says chips. The answer is... Chips. Nice. All right. Number two, can you guess what they're eating? I think that's an apple
Starting point is 00:13:20 You want to hear it again? Sure, why not? Yeah Oh, what a bite. Apple. Anaple is correct. Again. And then here we go, one final one. Okay.
Starting point is 00:13:42 That is wet cereal. That is a cereal. You got all three, three for three. It's O'Shaena, you win a $50 gift card to Sonic. Nice job. Amy, good job, three for three. Now, Amy, what am I eating? Air.
Starting point is 00:13:55 That's air. That's correct, yes, very good. We found Amy's, like her secret power. She can hear anything being eaten and name it. Nice job, Shaney. Congratulations. Thank you for listening. Thanks for playing.
Starting point is 00:14:06 We'll hang on the phone, okay? Thank you. The latest from Nashville and Hollywood. Morgan No. 2's 32nd Skinny. Luke Colmes shared the track list from his new album, Growing Up, coming out on June 24th. The album will feature a collaboration with Miranda Lambert called Outrunning Your Memory. Darius Rucker has his own TV show premiering on May 30th called Ruckers Reno. It will be on the design network and feature Darius transform a historical mansion in Charleston into an updated home for his family.
Starting point is 00:14:41 Dolly Parton will be on a Christmas movie called Mountain Magic Christmas on NBC this holiday season. It's a modern day musical about the making of a network TV special. No word on the premiere date yet. I'm Morgan. That's your skinny. It's time for the good news. With Bobby. Tell me something good. This is one of those stories where a police officer's work is never done,
Starting point is 00:15:04 even if they're off the clock. There is a police officer in Georgia. The town's called Woodstock, and he saved a two-year-old boy. His name's Officer Dixon. He's off of work. He's driving home, and he has the radio on. Like, hey, if anybody's near... He can give a destination.
Starting point is 00:15:18 He's like, well, I can go. I'm off the clock, but I'll go. So he drives over to the scene, and this woman said her son had started vomiting after they got home from daycare, and he stopped breathing. I don't know why he stopped breathing, maybe throw up in his throat. But he got there, and he immediately began CPR on the two-year-old.
Starting point is 00:15:34 I don't want to say brought the kid back to life, but the kid then showed life again. And so his eyes opened and then gravity all hit where then things, stuff came out of him. But if he hadn't been driving near there and had his radio on, even though he was off work, and then got there so quickly, the kid probably wouldn't have lived. So she says that this officer is her son's guardian. I think that's pretty cool. It just says Officer Dixon. I wish you know his first name, so we'll just make one up.
Starting point is 00:16:01 Officer Clint Dixon. Clint Dixon. Let's just try. Let's try, Mark Dixon. Barry. Could be Barry Dixon. Is it too much a Dick Dixon? Oh, I love Dick Dixon.
Starting point is 00:16:11 That'd be a good one. Whoever you are, Officer Dixon, appreciate you being a police officer and risking your life every day and also saving this kid. That's an awesome story. That is what it's all about. On the phone is Christy, who lives in. Baltimore, Maryland. Christy, good morning. Thank you for calling. Good morning, studio.
Starting point is 00:16:31 Morning. Do you feel like you know the show pretty well, Christy? I hope I do. Well, we're going to give you a chance to win here. We're going to play Bobby Bone Show trivia. Now, I'm going to give you a couple options. You can just get four out of seven. If you choose that, you'll be competing for a $50 Sonic gift card and a beanie baby of your choice.
Starting point is 00:16:53 Yeah, back behind me. Or if you want to say, I can get a. at least six. Whoa. A $100. Sonic gift card. I need him. He's not hype me right now.
Starting point is 00:17:03 Wow. Two beanie babies of your choice. But that means you'll only miss one. That's right. All right, Christy, what are you thinking here? I don't know. You're making me so nervous. You can go for four.
Starting point is 00:17:16 Go for four and get the 50-bought gift card and the one beanie baby. You know, that's what. Yeah. Play it safe. You only live once, though. Yeah. Okay. I'll...
Starting point is 00:17:28 Is it going to be things that you talked about in the last three days because I'm a podcast listener and I have not heard anything since last Tuesday? No, it's stuff you can know. You should know if you listen to the show regularly, but no, nothing super timely. Go big. All right, I'll go big.
Starting point is 00:17:44 That's right. But you can only miss one, and I can't give you a prize if you lose. I'm going to let you take it back if you want to. No, I'll go big. All right, let's go. She needs to get six. She can only miss one.
Starting point is 00:17:55 Seven questions. Who is the youngest member on the show? Oh, that would be Morgan number two. That is correct. Nice job. Morgan number two, I know you don't like the number two part. Out of the gate.
Starting point is 00:18:07 That's it. All right, next up. She is a big fan. She said she didn't like Morgan number two. She's like Morgan. Good. Okay, who has the most kids on the show and how many? The most kids would have to be Eddie with four.
Starting point is 00:18:20 That's correct. Wow. That's good job. Good job. All right. Technically right. Like graduation or only clap at the completion
Starting point is 00:18:26 because it just gets corny. Yeah, yeah. All right, there's two. Amy's son is currently involved in what Japanese martial art? Tai Condell? I don't know.
Starting point is 00:18:38 I know that he just had his first competition that you went to and he got second place, but it was only two kids. We don't mention that one more. Can I clarify? I don't think so. No, no.
Starting point is 00:18:50 There's no help. No help. Is it jiu jitsu? I just need a. answer. So you've said a couple things. I don't know the difference, to be honest. That's not my fort. Amy's son is, I think you did so. You're going to say jujitsu. Yeah. Are you sure? No. Is that your answer? I'm not sure. Um, jujitsu. Jujitsu is correct. Wow. Sorry I know. I'm not supposed to clap. Congratulations rules. Sorry.
Starting point is 00:19:18 Jujitsu is correct. You're three for three. Amy's son goes six days a week now to jujitsu. Can I get bonuses for knowing like extra? No. Have I ever brought up on the air that at school two days out of the week, he does Taekwondo? You never have, no. Okay, I just don't know if you heard that somewhere else. No. No, I just don't know the difference in them. Okay. All right, next up, what member of the show has voted prom king in high school?
Starting point is 00:19:44 Oh, dear, lunch. Yeah, you're right. Lunchbox? That's correct, yes, lunchbox is correct. Four for four. Why, oh, dear, like she's so annoyed. Oh, no, I love you, lunch, actually. Actually. Then she had to say actually.
Starting point is 00:19:57 Everything is... All right, next up. Breaking Bobby Bones can be streamed on what service? Oh. Paramount Plus. Incorrect. Oh. Is it T-Coc?
Starting point is 00:20:09 Incorrect. Oh. It's Disney. It's Disney. Yeah. Okay. You've got a little bit... Wow.
Starting point is 00:20:15 She jumped. She jumped quick. Start her pistol. Wait for that starter pistol. Just pause. Think it through. Talk it out. There are only two questions left.
Starting point is 00:20:23 And they're both pretty hard. Oh. And if she misses either one of these, she gets no prize. Amy's sister has a show on HGTV. It's Amy's sister and her husband. What is the name of that HGTV show? Raising roots. Let me think about it.
Starting point is 00:20:39 It's something with roots, I feel like growing roots, raising roots, building roots. I'm not going to get this right because it's something you talked about recently. We've talked about it over the past month or so. What do you think it's called? I'll tell you what. Roots is it. But what's the first word? I don't know.
Starting point is 00:20:58 Raising roots? No. Why would you be raising them? I don't know. Planting roots? Growing roots. I'm going to go with raising roots. I'm sure it's wrong.
Starting point is 00:21:09 Dang, it's HGTV. Yeah, building roots. That would make sense. She even said that. She said it. That's right, obviously she's not watching. I don't blame her. Wait, what?
Starting point is 00:21:21 I said, obviously she's not watching it. I don't blame her. Why do you have to say I don't blame her? Well, I'm just saying. Okay. And finally, well, you've already missed, but I tell you what, you'll get a consolation prize if you nail this one, and it is probably the hardest one, okay? Okay. What is the name of my rap alter ego who won third best rapper in Central Texas in the Music Awards of 2008?
Starting point is 00:21:45 You must have just talked about this recently because somebody on the B-Team page found it on YouTube and shared it to the page, and I literally just looked at it. I mean, I've talked about it for years and years and years, but it hadn't been talked about in a while, but my rap alter ego, I used to perform as this person. Do you know his name? I don't. He has a military rank. Nice. And a race.
Starting point is 00:22:08 General something? General Whitey is not right. No. It is Captain Caucasian. Oh. She did good, though. She didn't win. But here's what I'm going to do as a consolation to the consolation prize is that we're going to bring her back for another game soon.
Starting point is 00:22:24 Okay. I just, our attorneys are all up my boot talks. and I can't give away prizes if they don't win, okay? So what we're going to do, because I do think you're a big listener, and I appreciate that, Christy. We're going to have you on in the next few days to play another game that you can easily win, okay? Okay, thank you.
Starting point is 00:22:42 My birthday was yesterday, and I gave my husband a bunch of crepola because I thought he was going to get me tickets to your show, and he didn't. Wait, do you want tickets to the show? I can get you tickets to the show, just for being a listener, not even a winner. Can you come to town? Oh, I would fly there in a hundred,
Starting point is 00:22:58 heartbeat. Okay, so, would you like to come to the Friday show or the Saturday show? Oh my gosh, for real? It doesn't matter. Whatever. I will give you tickets to the Friday night show. And so, okay, I'm going to put you on hold. I will get you tickets to the show just for being a great listener, okay? Oh, my goodness. Thank you. You're welcome. Stand by. I'm doing two shows in Nashville on two nights, June 17th and 18th. If you guys want to get tickets, it's a comedy show with a little bit of motivational speaking. Just go over to CMAtheater.com,
Starting point is 00:23:27 or bobbybones.com, to get tickets. And we'll give a pair to Christy, and that's what we will do. All right, she didn't win, but now we don't bring her back because we just gave her tickets. Everybody wins there. The Bobby Bone Show is proud to be supported by Grand Canyon

Starting point is 00:27:12 All right, we're going to do wow or who cares. Okay. Wow. Or who cares. I will give you the fun fact or the crazy fact about the celebrity. You tell me wow or, nah, who cares? When Angelina Jolie was 20. she tried to hire a hitman to kill her, but he convinced her to stay alive. Wow. Wow.
Starting point is 00:27:30 Three wow. Yeah. Good. I like to hear it. Matthew Broderick was convicted of careless driving in a car accident in which two people died. Wow. Wow. Sad, but wow. I told you, you'll never see these celebrities the same way when I finish this.
Starting point is 00:27:46 Channing Tatum is actually a very young Channing Tatum is in the Ricky Martin. She bangs, she bangs music video. Okay. Who cares. All right. Boo.
Starting point is 00:27:56 I hate you all. Oh, I'm good. Before going solo, Brittany Spears was in an all-female group called Innocence. Okay. Who cares? You guys didn't know that. No, I didn't. Okay, now you're all of a sudden critics of crazy facts.
Starting point is 00:28:10 Okay. Before shooting the Friends pilot episode, Jennifer Aniston turned down being a member of Saturday Night Live. Wow. That's crazy. Oh, yeah, now you're back once I said you're all too good for this. You're right. That is well, though. Vince Vaughn's missing part of his thumb
Starting point is 00:28:25 What? Who cares? Wow. No, that's a wow. Yeah, like what happened? Who cares? Why? I have no idea. I don't know. I just have the fact. Mark Wahlberg has a third nipple and so does. Zach Efron and Harry Stiles has two extra nipples.
Starting point is 00:28:41 What? Harry Stiles, wow. What are you talking about? Who cares? What do you mean? Four nipples? You ever made about four nipples? No, I sure haven't. That's why it's wow.
Starting point is 00:28:50 Anybody here have an extra nipple? Uh-uh. It doesn't have a lot. to be a full, they don't look like. Yeah, what does it look like? It can even look like just a little dingy. Like a mole? Yeah. Yes, that's a great representation of what it could look like.
Starting point is 00:29:03 I don't have one. Okay. In 1978, Tim Allen was arrested for 1.4 pounds of cocaine, was sentenced from three to seven years in jail. He was led out on parole after two years and four months, but he served over two years in prison. Wow. That's wow. I already knew that one, but that's still wow. Yes.
Starting point is 00:29:20 Kanye West used to work at the gap. Wow. Wow. Selling clothes? Fashion info. Jennifer Lawrence has an H-2O tattoo on her to remind herself to drink more water. Wow. Who cares?
Starting point is 00:29:33 That's crazy. I think that's pretty crazy. Yeah. She tattooed herself with a note to drink more water. But where? On her neck? On her neck? I didn't say back of her neck.
Starting point is 00:29:43 Oh, you pointed at the back of your neck. Yeah, because mine itched. I scratched my neck in a segment. God forbid. You literally pointed as you were talking about the tattoo and I was like, Whatever you did, you let us to believe next. I'll never scratch again. Thank you.
Starting point is 00:29:56 It's actually on her hand. Okay. Well, that makes sense. That's hilarious. Growing up, Katie Perry's family was so religious. They called devil's eggs, angeled eggs, and she wasn't allowed to eat lucky charms because that cereal was linked to the devil. Wow. Wow.
Starting point is 00:30:12 That's very wild. That's crazy of a family? That's wild. Michael J. Fox's middle name does not start with Jay. His middle name is actually Andrew. Well, what happened? Wow. I don't have follow-ups on any of this.
Starting point is 00:30:22 I mean, you guys keep asking. There's no, I just have facts from this BuzzFeed article. Okay. Nick Cage once did mushrooms with his cat. Cool. Sounds about right. Part for the course. Yeah, that's fine.
Starting point is 00:30:34 And Snoop Dog and Brandy are first cousins. Wow. Wow. Okay. I think's pretty cool. There you go. Now, do you feel the same about all these celebrities? No.
Starting point is 00:30:42 No. No. That's right. A little different. Which one blew you away the most? Matthew Broderick? That's crazy. Again, this is probably BuzzFeed article.
Starting point is 00:30:49 I, in fact, check anything of myself. read the article. So, but it says Matthew Broderick was convicted of careless driving in a car accident which two people died. So that's a big, the angel and a Joe Lee one where she hired, that's the one, that's the one. He talked her out of it. I wonder if he still collected his payment though. Good question. So that one. Like what kind of hitman tells you you shouldn't do it? A nice one that has a heart. But if you're a hitman, you just want the money. Yeah, but you probably, he's probably never been approached to kill the person that was hiring him. I'm not sure how that approach even happened. If she approached or if she got a, I don't know. I don't know what's up.
Starting point is 00:31:24 But yes, maybe she just called him. I was like, hey, I need you to. I don't know. I'm walking down the street. I just don't want to know about it. Just take care of me. That's sad. That's a weird. Yeah, that's a weird one there. The general. The general. If you had to tattoo a message to yourself on your hand. Okay. Water is a good one. So that you always see it. Breathe. What will be the message that you just wouldn't do unless you're like, oh, I got to keep your mind of myself to do it. Go. Take a shower.
Starting point is 00:31:55 He draws a little showerhead with water. Okay. Amy? I'll do 4-7-8. I tattoo those numbers because that's a breathing exercise that I have to remind myself to do. It can calm you if you do it five times in a row. In for four, hold for seven out for eight. Eddie?
Starting point is 00:32:11 Tell people you love them. Tell your family you love them. That's a good reminder. Yeah, that's a solid one. Because I forget. I think mine would be, I would just put a little book on my thumb. just because sometimes I'll be getting on Twitter and I'll be like
Starting point is 00:32:24 oh my half hour's already over I can't read today because I do a pretty good job of it most days or I'm on PlayStation a little too long I'm like I forgot to read I just prioritized and 2K just beat out the book so maybe that Here's a voicemail from John
Starting point is 00:32:40 who lives in Wisconsin Hey yo Bobby I'm down here in Dubupe right now and I've passed the Sonic So I'm like you know what I got to stop by a Sonic and get me a Bobby water. I tried it. Best thing ever. Thank you for showing me that. It's freaking amazing. I love it. Have it goal, man. Appreciate that. But I have said before, I'm just the Steve Jobs of this. I'm not the
Starting point is 00:33:02 Wozniak. My wife is the Wozniak. She's the one who said, hey, we should take water and put, and I just said that's a great idea. I will not tell everyone about it. So you call it the Bobby water. And I did. Yes. But it's also the Caitlin water. Yes. Here is more, by the way, That is a Route 44 water with nerds and real fruit strawberry. Okay. And it's pretty good and you can hydrate. Everybody's a winner. Here's Mariah from New Mexico.
Starting point is 00:33:28 I want to know with your honorary doctorate if it's something you can put on resumes. Do you add that to your resume? How does that work? Let me know. I've done a lot of research on this and yes, you can. You don't put it in your education. You put it in your accomplishments. Oh.
Starting point is 00:33:45 That makes sense. So because you're awarded it based on other outside work that is not in academia. It's like an award. Yes. So you put you absolutely, but you don't put it in education because you didn't go to school to get a doctorate. You were given an honorary one based on all the things that you did in a classification of what they have at the school. Okay, but is your name at the top of the page, Dr. Bobby Bone. It could be, but it's frowned upon.
Starting point is 00:34:11 Right. But mine will not be. That makes me think of a question just for the show and those that have gotten employee of the month here. Like if they down the line are seeking new employment, can they put that under accomplishments? Absolutely. Yeah. Employee of the month.
Starting point is 00:34:25 These guys leave it or what? Why are you asking? Am I me trying to kick them out the door? No, I'm just curious. I know. I was asking if he can use that. Hey, she winked at me when she said that, so I don't know what that means about you guys. I did not. Terry from North Carolina left this one. I have a morning corny for
Starting point is 00:34:41 Amy. What do you call a tasered inmate? Shocker. con. Shock a con. Oh, shock a con. See, I want like a con. Right. Con deck.
Starting point is 00:34:51 Shock a con. That one's good. And also, shock a con is, Rufus is who sings, Tell me something good. And I think at the car wash too, they sing that one too. Okay, well, there you have it.
Starting point is 00:35:04 Shock a con. Here's Amy's pile of stories. So, Bobby, when you got your doctorate last weekend, at the graduation ceremony, were balloons released at all? I don't think so. We were in an arena. Yeah, but you didn't see balloons going out because it's a common thing
Starting point is 00:35:22 right now and there's being a warning put out to not release these particular type of balloons in the air that are very popular at graduation parties. And it's the silver balloons. Like they're sort of metallic and they look really pretty. But the silver coating conducts electricity.
Starting point is 00:35:39 So if the balloons make contact with power lines, they're shorting out transformers. They're melting electric wires and they're causing power outages. So obviously, your little celebration might, you know, end up affecting thousands of-gratulation. Graduates, congratulations. You just graduated. The whole town will have no power, no heating, but you know what? Go for it. Yeah, so just get normal balloons if you're going to release them. I thought you were going to say no balloons because the animals could die. Well, that too. Yeah, let's just not release them.
Starting point is 00:36:06 W-w-w-w-w-h. That's sad. All right, what else? Well, there's a safety hat going viral on TikTok from a mom, Her handle is the Landry family 504. And she says that we need to be teaching our children to curse instead of scream if someone tries to grab them. Because especially if this goes down at like say a playground. Well, the kidnapper just laugh. He said the F4 at six-year-old and then all the time somebody beats them up. I don't know. That could happen.
Starting point is 00:36:33 I kind of thought how could we apply this to adults? And I think I would throw off an attacker if all of a sudden I just started like cussing a bunch of words and sounding crazy. I don't know the words would do it. She says, teach them every cuss word and they just start rattling them off. Because here's the deal. If they get abducted from like a playground situation where the abductors trying to be around where there's a lot of kids and people and you may not notice, well, if they scream, there's a lot of screams happening at a playground.
Starting point is 00:37:00 So it doesn't get other people's attention. But if you hear a kid rattling off a bunch of cuss words, you'll, you turn and look and you're like, what's going on? So about adults, I don't think that would work because we say it all the time. Well, you walk out in the hall, lunchbox is dropping. I'm like crazy. We have a no curse word rule in this studio, but as soon as he goes out, it's like he just, uh, bombets him out.
Starting point is 00:37:19 I get scared. I've been wanting to start practicing getting attacked in a way so that I can practice screaming. No problem. We will now set up strategic attacks on Amy. We'll see if she's ready for it. No, I'm serious because I feel, I fear that if I get attacked, I will not be able to scream. Because, like, if I'm being tickled a lot, I can't scream in my throat.
Starting point is 00:37:41 This has turned into like a fantasy thing for her. She wants to be attacked, she wants to be tickled. I don't know many abductors that are tickling. That's not what I'm saying. When I feel pressure, I don't want to be tickled. And I want off. It's almost like my voice goes mute in a way. Like I can't get out sound and that scares me.
Starting point is 00:37:58 The only thing that you can do to check it off is to actually have it happen to you. So what I'm doing is going to rent a white band. We're going to do like the movies where we run up, pull it, throw her in it. It's up to you decide if it's real or not. Or I just need to take some self-defense classes and learn how to take care of it. Not near as fun for the radio show, though. All right, what else? Another reason to love Garth Brooks is because he has put his career on pause for the sake of others.
Starting point is 00:38:22 He pumped the brakes on the date for Buffalo this weekend. The tickets were supposed to go on sale Friday. But he's like, with everything that's going on there, I just want to respect the morning and the hurt and the confusion that's going on in the community. So I'm pressing pause on my ticket sales. It's not even like he's canceling the show. Yeah, show's same time. Show's same time, but he's not going to put his tickets on sale this week. It just does not seem appropriate.
Starting point is 00:38:47 And I just thought that's super thoughtful of Garth. Because the end of the day, it's ticket sales. It's not the actual show, but he just has so much respect for what they're going through. You know, I'll say it now. And I know it's going to be controversial, but Garth Brooks is a good guy. Good guy. Yeah, he's a good guy. All right.
Starting point is 00:39:02 I'm Amy. That's my pile. That was Amy's pile of stories. It's time for the good news. With lunchbox. Matt Hamilton of McFarland, Wisconsin. Oh, you probably remember him from the 2018 and 2021 Winter Olympics as a member of the curling team. Do you remember him? No.
Starting point is 00:39:25 Oh, wow. Just saying it up. He was on the curling team going, ah, sweep, sweep, sweep, sweep, sweep, sweep. Well, he does. Oh, curling's the ice game where they sweep the ice with the broom. Yes, and they throw those old diss. Well, this guy, he wants to do something for kids. So every year he doesn't get a haircut.
Starting point is 00:39:40 He grows his hair out for 12 months and then he donates it so the kids with cancer can get a wig and guess what? He just did it again. That's pretty cool. What does he do again? He grows his hair out. He does he say it like that?
Starting point is 00:39:54 You were in character so it's tough. He donates his hair. Yeah, so kids with cancer or have trauma that lose hair, they have a wig and he does it every year and it just raises awareness and he just cut off 12 inches again. Boom. He's kind of like me.
Starting point is 00:40:07 Yeah, he is. I was going to bring that up. Oh, good. I wanted to make sure it was brought up. I saw this story and I was like, I'm going to do this just so we can point out that I did this. Lunchbox grew out his hair really long and then decided to donate it to the organization. Locks for Love. But what did they do with it?
Starting point is 00:40:23 Well, and then he donates it to them. And I think you got a letter back or something going, we can't accept your hair. Yeah, it didn't get accepted. It's too dirty. Too dirty? Were we joking that they did this or did they really use it for the oil spill? No, no. They said they would send me a letter when they used it.
Starting point is 00:40:36 Oh. Like if they used it and it never did. and then I was told that they donated it to the oil spill to throw them to the water. But that's needed. He saved fish. Yeah, but I mean...
Starting point is 00:40:49 They could have just said they used it for kids, you know? Just lie a little bit. I mean, the guy went through a year and growing his hair out. I mean, my hair was long, dude. And I went to the haircut place. And I was like, man, I'm going to... Some kids are going to be walking around with my mane on their head. Were you growing it out for that?
Starting point is 00:41:03 No, I grew it out for a bet. Me and two bodies. That's right. Because I was thinking, this sounds so self-ful. Let me re-in. Okay. So your buddies bet you how much? $1,250. We'd had a few drinks and that was the long as my hair had been because I hadn't had a haircut in a month. They're like, oh, I bet you won't grow it out for a year. And I was like, bet. And they bet me. One guy bet me $1,000. Another one bet me $250. And so I said, game on.
Starting point is 00:41:29 Guess how much that money I collected? Zero. $250. The $1,000 better didn't give you the money? No, he ended up going out one night, meeting a girl. they did a little thing, and then she had a bun in the oven. This was six months into the bet, and I went to him, and I said, hey, man, we can call off the bet if you want.
Starting point is 00:41:48 And he's like, no, dude, no, a kid ain't going to change that. Well, a kid changed that. Never paid me. Yeah. But now he could, like, Venmo you $50 a month for the rest. Absolutely. I mean, he's got a good job now. And still nothing.
Starting point is 00:42:00 Yeah, and he still owes me another. Hey, and this guy is on the hook for a lot. He owes me another thousand because he got married before I did. That was another bet. Who would hold out the longest? Yeah, oh yeah. We're like, we're never getting married. And he's like, I'll bet you get married before I do.
Starting point is 00:42:13 I was like, bet. This guy just throwing money around him. That's $1,000. Okay, well, but hey, let's celebrate this guy. What's his name again? Matt Hamilton, come on, guys. The curler. You may remember him from his curling.
Starting point is 00:42:24 All right, that's a good story. That's what it's all about. That was tell me something good. Let's go over to Amy and get in the morning corny. The morning corny. What do you call a superhero with a bad sense of direction. What do you call a superhero with a bad sense of direction? Wander woman. That's funny. That's very good. That was the morning corny. The story that really struck me is about
Starting point is 00:42:53 the guy. He had a mansion listed for like $88 million. Super rich guy, but he was in a lot of debt. I think he's a plastic surgeon in Los Angeles. And so they were like, hey, if you need to sell this because of your debt, I'd put it up at auction because there's not really a huge list of buyers that are going to 90 million go buy the house to put it up auction you have people that are bidding on it you'll get a ton of money from it so this house that was on the market last year for 88 million went to auction he's ticked because it only sold for 45 million like half basically what a deal in the land of percentages sure sure sure for the yes that's a deal but yeah he's like upset because he got an offer the final one 45.8 million dollars on a place that was listed at 88 million so there you have it but he did buy the house but he did buy the house and he got an offer the final one 45. So there you have it but he did buy the house. in 2013 for 16 million. Oh. So he turned 16 to 45. That's great.
Starting point is 00:43:45 Yes. But what did he invest in it? But he needed to settle his debts. The judge was like, get it. So he didn't even get the 50 million he needed. Oh, wow. I mean, imagine you have something that they're telling you is worth $90 million. It's like on Pond Stars when someone goes in and they're like, no, this is a
Starting point is 00:44:01 lightsaber that was used in Star Wars. They're like, no, this is from Toys R Us down the road. That's a toy. And they get almost no money for it. Anyway, poor guy. Only got 45 million first place. Oh, see, that's how I really feel. The Bobby Bone Show is proud to be supported by Grand Canyon University,

I was in August of 21, so several months ago. Wow, nine months. And so she didn't have her smell forever, but you feel like now you're getting your smell back.
Starting point is 00:48:01 I think I am. I'll get whiffs of things. I'm like, oh, it's there, and then it leaves. So I'm not entirely sure if it's 100% back or not. So Morgan does not have headphones. Yeah, I can't see anything right now. And she can't see anything because she's got a blindfold on. We have six things.
Starting point is 00:48:14 Now, what I'm going to do is tell the audience what it is, and then she's going to smell it, and we'll see if she can identify it. Now, some of the stuff is really strong, meaning it's like food things, right? So when I say it, you guys don't react. Like ooh. You got it.
Starting point is 00:48:31 Or like that would be hard to smell. Just don't react. Okay. Okay. The first thing I'm going to say what it is. You can't hear me right? Hold on, Morgan. Can you hear me?
Starting point is 00:48:40 A little bit. Okay. Okay. Okay. Don't whisper so loud. I got an idea. I got an idea. What are you going to do?
Starting point is 00:48:47 Hold her ears. No. I'm going to take around the studio. No, just hold her ears. Just hold her. Put your hand over ears. Oh, earmuffs. The first thing is.
Starting point is 00:48:53 No, I can't. The lunchbox is squeezing my head. Okay. Well, Morgan, well, Morgan, stop talking so I can say it. Does there smell back? Is there something under my nose? There is something.
Starting point is 00:49:06 Can you smell it? I'm nervous. The problem is you're going to catch her face on fire, guys. Oh, dangerous. Fire. Fire. Yes, that's what I was saying. Yes, the heat.
Starting point is 00:49:17 Her hair is sending. Fire. Okay, no, it's not fire. It was a little candle, but we could fire. Did you smell that at all, Morgan? I didn't smell it until it started to get really close to my face. That's why I was like, it's something there. We're not going to count that one.
Starting point is 00:49:31 They almost caught her face on fire. Okay, lunchbox number two, if you'll cover it up. My sharp. All right, here we go. Now we're going to put under your nose. Morgan, don't move your head, but smell, big, big breath. Oh, chlorox? That smells like chlorox?
Starting point is 00:49:49 Oh, what is that? Yep, don't like that. That's cleaning. Cleaning. No, it's not. Maybe your smell is messed up more than it is. It's got to be. It's my Sharpie.
Starting point is 00:49:58 Oh, yeah, no. Okay, Morgan, now that you know, Mike, put the Sharpie under her nose again. Now that you know what's the Sharpie smell. No, it smells like nail polish remover, like some acetone, like cleaning. Not sharpy, huh? No. This is sad. Oh for two. We start crying.
Starting point is 00:50:14 Oh my gosh. Alright, next up, lunchbox, if you'll cover her ears. A freshly cut onion. Oh. No responses. Oh. Yeah, Amy. A fresh.
Starting point is 00:50:26 Okay, here we go. Smell, Morgan. What is that? Oh my god. I smell something. I have no idea what it is. Big Whiff? Meat? Is it some kind of meat? Her nose is messed up.
Starting point is 00:50:41 It just messed up. This is crazy. But you do have some sort of smell. You just can't really tell what it is. No, I mean, it smells awful, whatever it is. Okay. We're going to try after we tell her. It's an onion.
Starting point is 00:50:52 Oh, yeah. No. Smell again. Now that you know what's an onion? No, that doesn't smell like an onion at all. Okay. At all. Is that a meat smell an onion?
Starting point is 00:51:00 I mean, I smell the onion from across the room. I do too. Okay. Now, this next one is strong. It's a very strong smell. Okay, so cover her ears. Here we go. All right.
Starting point is 00:51:17 All right. Don't, don't do it. Mike, you can. Morgan, ready. One, two, three. In? Some kind of spice. I have no idea what, though. That one's kind of close, though.
Starting point is 00:51:27 Right, Mike? Yeah, that's close. Okay, so it's curry powder. Oh. Yeah, that's strong. Okay, but can you actually smell the curry now? No, it just smells like a mix of spices. Like, I'm getting salt pepper.
Starting point is 00:51:40 That's better, though. Yeah, at least she's in the ballpark. Right. Morgan's had COVID, or she did about a year ago, and she's trying to see if she can smell things. She hasn't really nailed one yet. No. Now, this one will be a very familiar smell. Okay.
Starting point is 00:51:53 Good, Mike? Okay, I'm going to say what it is. Here we go. Good lunch. Yeah. Raymondose cologne. So hard. Hold on.
Starting point is 00:52:03 Don't talk. Raymond those cologne. All right, go ahead. And Morgan, one, two, three, go. Oh, cookies. What is happening? Okay, one more time. Oh, my gosh.
Starting point is 00:52:14 One more time. Cookie? No. Still cookies, so. Wow, it's Ray's Cologne. She smells cookies. That's a good clone, Ray. What is it?
Starting point is 00:52:23 What is going on? Cookie monster. After dark. Spice bomb. Yeah, it's a very distinct smell. Does it smell like cookies at all? Smells like a bomb that's on spite that has spices on it.
Starting point is 00:52:32 No. Okay. No cookie. Well, there's only one more, but I would say she's kind of 0 for five. COVID has messed her smell up. Gosh, like right now our studio smells like a sandwich shop. Last one. And these are much.
Starting point is 00:52:53 Okay. And under the nose. Oh, B.O. Some kind of. That smells like B.O. Some kind of bad smell. Hold on, hold on. Go again.
Starting point is 00:53:04 Oh, yeah. Like somebody just sweat in the gym. Yeah. That's lunchbox of sweating. She got it. She got it. She got it. It took a box to pierce the ball in.
Starting point is 00:53:14 Wow. That she can smell. That's so gross. That's funny that that is so strong. It defeated her nose issues. Yeah. Okay, well, Morgan, I would say you are almost... Oh, man, she's in trouble.
Starting point is 00:53:28 I don't either. I feel bad. I don't feel good about that at all. I mean, you only got one, really, and it was Lunchbox's B-O. You're right. She went, B-O! So I have a list of things that are traditionally masculine, but that men actually hate.
Starting point is 00:53:45 So what I'll do is all... And I hate all these, basically. I'm not the most masculine man. But what I do, is I'll read the list and you guys tell me the men here if you like it if this is important to you and Amy you do the same
Starting point is 00:53:59 you're not a man okay so for example having a really strong handshake like is that important to you Amy that your man has that yes a real like let's go okay guys absolutely yes lunch rocks no and Eddie doesn't even
Starting point is 00:54:15 have a strong handshake yeah it's like this and it's kind of sweaty when is the last thing no it's not yeah I don't have That's gross. You have this sweaty handshake. I think if a guy squeezes my hand too hard, I think he's, it's like somebody with their car a little too jacked up. Bones, it's called a firm, firm handshake. Trying to crush someone's hand when shaking it. There's no need for.
Starting point is 00:54:36 No need. No need. There's no need. Just a good middle handshake. You don't have to be super strong. Firm. Number two, drinking black coffee. I don't care.
Starting point is 00:54:45 It's disgusting. Never had it. It's gross. So you're not masking at all lunchbox. Hold on. All these. No, no. I'm a man.
Starting point is 00:54:52 I don't need coffee. Right, but these are traditional. I got masculinity running through my veins. Don't need caffeine. Well, I'm not here. So far, lunch, we're the same. That's not. Wow.
Starting point is 00:55:00 Yeah, yeah. Looking in a mirror, you two. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I move my left arm to see if I'll move it with me. Like a mirror. I don't like this. Dr.in' black coffee. Eddie?
Starting point is 00:55:08 No. Yeah. I don't care about that. None of us are there. Fighting. Fighting. Fighting can be cool. Like, picking bites with people.
Starting point is 00:55:14 Like punching. It just has fighting. Like, think. No way. You had to be ready to fight. Nah. Ready to fend honor. So you are your fight.
Starting point is 00:55:21 Yes. When's the last time you've been in a fight? Been years. But I've been ready. But like how many years? But he's ready right now. I don't know. But how many, if you're guessing, I don't know, just going number out there.
Starting point is 00:55:30 20 years. You got to fight when you were 20? Probably. No, no, no, no. Last fight you remember. How many years? Middle school, right? Yeah, probably middle school.
Starting point is 00:55:40 30. But you got to be ready to fight. Yeah. So fighting. Not important to me at all. I don't want to fight for any reason whatsoever. I'm also not masculine to me. Never fought in my life.
Starting point is 00:55:47 Okay, good. Not using shampoo or being kind of loose with your personal hygiene. That's important. That's you? That is definitely me. I mean. Not really me there. No, you're going to be clean.
Starting point is 00:55:58 Chewing tobacco. Not for me. Insecurities like not ordering a fruity cocktail, wearing pink, hold your girl's purse. Don't hold the purse. Don't wear pink and fruity cocktail. If I'm on a beach hidden, I'll have a, you know, pinia colada, but besides that. Hitten what? Hidden where no one can see me.
Starting point is 00:56:16 Hidden in. Oh, hidden. I thought it was hitting. I thought it was hitting. Like, what are you hitting? What? Okay. I only order fruity cocktails, but not only that, I order fruity mottails.
Starting point is 00:56:25 And I ask for them, hey, can you guys make me a mocktail version of this? That's really bad. Every time. And I will wear pink like crazy. I love pink. It's one of my favorite colors. I just bought some pink tennis shoes the other day. What?
Starting point is 00:56:35 They're awesome. Okay. I call them my peptos. My peptos. Oh, nice, because they're pink. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Okay. How about being stoic in photos, like not smiling?
Starting point is 00:56:44 That's considered masculine. Is that you? That's me. Yeah. Not me at all. I got the model pose. Like, what up? How about driving a big loud truck?
Starting point is 00:56:53 No. Never been into the trucks. Me either. Eddie does drive a Jeep. I do, but... Is it for masculinity reasons? No, I bought it loud. I don't really don't want it to be loud, but it's just loud.
Starting point is 00:57:01 Doing stupid, risky things for adrenaline rush. Yeah, I can do that. Like what? Oh, you know, parkor. Hey, fight. And parkour? Parkour. Where are you jumping from building to building?
Starting point is 00:57:11 Stop it. It's like people that run on foot and can jump off buildings and you've never done parkour. Or, like, what is it? He says he does like donuts in his car. Yeah, he doesn't do peel out. I'll show you a peel out if you want. No, it's going to stall. And then finally rejecting like anesthesia at the doctor.
Starting point is 00:57:27 Oh, yeah, I don't need it. Yeah, I don't need that. Excuse me? I don't need that. I've had teeth pulled. Just pull them. Straight? Not true.
Starting point is 00:57:34 You walk right in? Yeah, right. Wait, so I'm the dentist. Hey, lunchbox, walk home. Have a seat. Oh, yeah, you got some teeth. You got to pull it because you're going to have to get braces. I got to go and pull them.
Starting point is 00:57:43 You don't want me to numb it? No, I got to go for it. Ripped them out. Such a liar. There's no way. It's just like when you lost your teeth. Did you get pain medicine? No.
Starting point is 00:57:51 Took them out. When you were a baby? But they weren't ripped. They naturally released. And we said that they were getting braces. Okay, so lunchbox is manlier than we are. They got five of those. I don't think I had a single one.
Starting point is 00:58:04 That's not shocking. Yeah. I think I'm the least masculine human ever. But that's not a real gauge. No, it is. He worked pink shoes, Eddie. Traditionally, Massey. I like pink.
Starting point is 00:58:15 I like pink. Well, Lunchbox, you're the manliest. Yeah. Traditionally masculine. And then, Eddie, your second. I mean, it's not hard in this room to be the most masculine. Oh, Bobby, that's a good movie. No, it's not.
Starting point is 00:58:28 Look at you guys. You think we, look at the score. The facts don't lie. Everybody's insulted right now. Hello, it's time to do the most important segment of the day. Let's go to the big stories. Bobby's big. Stories.
Starting point is 00:58:44 Well, the stories have been getting in the news a little more lately. it's when somebody runs up a big bill on an app, and usually that person's a kid, they don't know what they're doing, but a Texas mom learned about leaving her phone unlocked. Her two-year-old son bought 31 cheeseburgers from DoorDash, from McDonald's. And what I like about this is, $31. Pretty good.
Starting point is 00:59:05 Less than a hundred bucks, you can feed 30 people. Dang. So, I mean, that's like today's fishes and loaves. Yeah, it's pretty good. There you go. And multiplied. From McDonald's right there. Right there. It's just right from the app.
Starting point is 00:59:17 Kelsey Golden says she's working on her computer. Her two-year-old son Barrett got a hold of her unlocked phone and managed to use the DoorDash app to order McDonald's delivery. Here's a clip from the story from K-R-I-S news, and then I have some thoughts. He had not one, not two, but almost three dozen hamburgers delivered to the house. So I didn't know what to do with him. He only ate half of one. I posted on a community page here in Kingsville and asked if anybody wanted some.
Starting point is 00:59:45 One girl came by and picked up six. Hey, get this. As part of that $90 bill, Barrett actually included a $16 tip. It's a good tipper. Mr. Big Spender. That's right. There you go. Go, Barrett.
Starting point is 00:59:58 So a couple thoughts I have here. One, do you, you know, back in the day, if someone would get caught smoking or cursing, you know, you make them smoke all the cigarettes. You make the kid, all right? You have 31 cheeseburgers to eat, son, and you will not get up until you do. Yeah, he didn't know what he was doing. Or, and I also want to know, does he love? love McDonald's. Did he kind of know what he was doing?
Starting point is 01:00:18 Because he loves McDonald's so much that he chased it and went to it and swiped it. Or was he just swiping like crazy. I would just like to know if the kid loved McDonald's. Right. Because that would make sense. And also a two-year-old. That's pretty cool. Then he knows how to tip?
Starting point is 01:00:31 On those apps that have the picture of the burger, like when you open it up? Yes. Because that's got to be. I don't use DoorDash. Yeah, I do. They have photos. So he probably just is like, oh, the McDonald's arches. Oh, hamburger.
Starting point is 01:00:43 Oh, click. Like, I just. I feel like he got lucky with even... Sometimes I can't even successfully place an order. So I'm like, look at him. We'll get him on the phone. You guys can work on that together. Yeah, we'll put him on. He can give Amy some tips. According to a new study, attraction to people who have committed a crime is real, especially among women.
Starting point is 01:00:59 Oh, wow. In their study, women on dating apps were more likely to go on a date with a guy if he'd been to jail, as long as he has expressed a strong desire to change or has shown he has a new positive career field. Experts think it's because, well, what do you think, Amy? I'm sitting here trying to wonder, but is it because he's showing he can change? And like at one point he was bad and now he's trying to be good. This turned into a fantasy. Her tone has gone from person on the radio to reading a romance novel.
Starting point is 01:01:28 Yeah, I'm trying to figure it out because this is just not me personally, but... Experts think it's because women have a desire to help and especially help someone change for the better. It's a nurturing quality of women. Yeah, okay. That is from Daily Mail. I will say that if someone's like, yeah, I spent some time in jail. Heck, I'm attracted to them, not in like a sexual way, but like, I want to know what's up. I want to hang out.
Starting point is 01:01:48 I want to be like, what's, jail like? You know, what was, I got lots of questions. Yeah, that's a little different than this, though. Little. Just a little. A little. A new study published in the Journal of Thinking and Reasoning reveals that problem solving and creativity are best done when you're free thinking and not really trying.
Starting point is 01:02:05 But the problem is if you're trying to solve a problem, if it is trying to solve it, so it's hard not to try. But here's what they say. And this is where I just thrive. It's the only spot of thrive. When you're in the shower, you're relaxed and you let your mind go. That's when those special thought-provoking moments seem to happen. Experts say you let your mind wander from the task at hand, and if all else fails, you just wait, take a next shower and see what happens. The shower for me, I really come up with some of my best work there.
Starting point is 01:02:33 Whatever that means, my best work. But I come, I'm like, oh, I did I not think of this before. Or like, song, comedy song ideas. That's usually where it is for me. So shower is a big one for me. You? They also say showering too is a good place to either pray or if you've got ideas, like kind of just put them out there because water's a conductor. See, now you got, you went weird. You went on. You take it next level and got a kooky with it.
Starting point is 01:02:58 I don't know. I think it's something from. Not the praying, but the conductor. Whatever. Eckartole or something. But think of all the ideas, lunchbox you could come up with if you actually shower like a normal person. Yeah. Yeah, nothing really good comes to me in the shower. I take, you know, a couple of week and I never really had any good ideas in the shower that I can think of. Glammer.com had that article. Wow. Most people do you think they like or dislike their job?
Starting point is 01:03:22 Oh, man. Most people dislike it. I think. That's my guess. What you think, Eddie? Most people hate it. Oh, dislike it. Why do you say that so passionate?
Starting point is 01:03:32 Oh, you talk to anybody. Man, I hate my job. Okay, but what about you? What about you? I mean, it has pros and cons. There's some days I like it. Some days I'm like this is a more job in the world. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:03:41 Is it take it or leave it, too? Yeah, take it or leave it. Okay, to be clear, I don't feel that way. Yeah, I don't either. I don't either. Actually, the reason why I think I'm able to say they don't like their job is because sometimes I, if I am having one of those days, I look at actually what I get to do for a living and I am thankful for it because a lot of people have to work.
Starting point is 01:04:02 You know, they don't get to sit in front of a microphone and, like, laugh with their friends all day. Well, this is work. It is work, but at the same time, it's not, like, strenuous labor. and crazy hours and like a nurse. But they love their jobs. It is crazy hours. I would agree with that. The hours are terrible.
Starting point is 01:04:19 Yeah, but I mean, come on. Not really. My Arkansas Keys worked at the sawmill. Right. I saw how hard that was. That's what I mean. This is not a sawmill. Exactly.
Starting point is 01:04:25 Lunchbox, what would you, if, you know, 100% means you love it all the time? You know, where do you fit on the scale? Oh, probably about 37%. Wow. Love? Yeah. So 63% you don't like the job? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:04:40 Wow. That's why it's so. grumpy guys. What could we do to make this job better for you? Oh, give me more praise, uh, appreciate me more. Like, you think that could be an issue where you do something more than you get that more. Rewards. Rewards, like gift cards. What do you, what rewards? Ditters. I mean, I'm just saying. But you get paid. I know, but so to screw and Ray and they get paid. They get to go dinners.
Starting point is 01:05:02 We laugh at what you do. Like, isn't that what you want? You laugh at me. How would we praise him, bones? Like, what's an example of praising him? Hey, man. You, your hoodie looks cleaner today than yesterday, even though it's the same one you've born for six days or right. No, but Bobby, that's not what he needs. He needs praise for like his work. Yeah, because Amy acts like, I will come off the year and be like, that's a funny bit. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:05:21 We did it off the air. Somebody go off. He has said that to you recently. Yeah, I've heard him say that. And how does that make you feel? I mean, I'm like, yeah, well, I know it's funny. Then why do you want the praise if you don't accept it? No, I do accept it.
Starting point is 01:05:33 I'm just saying, I'm glad you acknowledge it. Okay. And Amy, guys, like, our job's not hard. Amy, you drive by any of these offices downtown, like these big buildings? Guess what? They're just sitting in a cubicle all day. They're not job-in strenuous either. They're doing crap you don't think?
Starting point is 01:05:45 No. They're looking at Facebook. Instagram. Got it. TikTok. You're on Facebook right now. Yeah, that's true. Black screen.
Starting point is 01:05:51 No, it's off, yeah. It's on standby. But normally. But yeah, once Bobby goes back talking, I'll get on there. Moving on. A new study shows that people actually like their jobs these days. Oh, good. Over 75% of American workers are satisfied at work with their particular job.
Starting point is 01:06:05 That is from QZ.com. Well, that's great news. Lifting weights can actually help you drop. the extra pounds if you thought the only way you could lose weight is by running or exercising. And I'm somebody that was like, I've got to work out. I'm like, I need to do cardio because I'm not feeling good. My body's not feeling very great. But now what they're saying is through a lot of science in many years that if you're looking
Starting point is 01:06:25 to be tremor, you can actually lift weights and not feel like you have to run. They recommend resistance training to help spark the exact same weight loss as a long run, which is counter what I've always been taught by my. myself and to myself. Yeah, but if you lift weights, don't you get bigger, like mass-wise and too much muscle? No, not too much, but I think what they're saying is you can actually get the same thing from lifting as you do from cardio. Not the lungs, but if you're looking to lose two pounds for some reason.
Starting point is 01:06:56 Yeah, but also at the end of the day, everybody's body's different. Did you know, fun fact, I haven't lifted more than three pounds in over two years? I didn't have very much fun with that one. I just fine. Like, I used three pounds? Three pounds? Three pounds. I mean, for you wait in a long way, hold on.
Starting point is 01:07:11 This would be real fun if she hasn't looked at anything over three pounds. That's what I thought like a sack of potatoes. No. Ray, we need the boring clip. You have that one. This is definitely this. Go ahead. Here we go.
Starting point is 01:07:19 The Bobby Bone Show talks about something boring. All right, Amy, finish the story. I'm just for the last two years, ever since the pandemic. Once that started, I started doing these particular workouts that work for me. Like, I realize this is for me, maybe not for anybody else. But I have. They haven't lifted more than a three-pound dumbbell. That's it.
Starting point is 01:07:41 That's it. It buzzed, yeah. They're pink and I love it. Oh, my God. No, no, it did bust. That's from study. I thought it was like three buzzers. Studyfines.org.
Starting point is 01:07:50 All right, let's see. Also, three's a crowd. Having more than two children can age parents by almost seven years. Look at me. Do I look aged? Look at me. Yes, y'all both do. In the last two years, like, don't you see me aging, like hardcore?
Starting point is 01:08:05 Yes. Yeah. Yeah, for sure. And I feel you slowing down. You know how I found out I was really aging? I have to adjust every day. I have to adjust my rearview mirror to get a little lower. Oh, you're shrinking.
Starting point is 01:08:18 That means I'm like just getting smaller. Yeah, you're shrinking physically. Look, every day. Have you been lined up with BetterHelp yet? Not yet, but Scuba got me a link. I'm going to contact them. We're going to get it going. BetterHelp.com, code words bones.
Starting point is 01:08:31 And it is, Eddie said, and he was being serious. He's sad sometimes because it's just overwhelming being a parent. to four kids. And so sometimes stress gets you. Better help is an excellent, excellent way to talk to a therapist. It's cheaper. It's easy. This is not a commercial. It just is awesome. So get on it. I can't wait to see the new you. Yeah, man. Can't wait. Thank you. Finally, you can practice for a job. Not finally, two stories left. You can practice for a job interview with Google AI. This is amazing. And I know you may go like, ah, it's stupid or AI. But no, you can actually prepare for a job interview. It's a warm-up tool that allows you to hop in, not know what it's really going to ask,
Starting point is 01:09:10 and answer these questions to the AI. That's amazing. It's like batting practice. It's like running plays. This is it. That's from engage, ingadget.com. Why do you say, yeah, like it's not very cool? Me?
Starting point is 01:09:26 No, I think that is cool. I'm just thinking about it. I'm like, oh, wow. I could see how that's just exercising like that muscle like you would. Batting practice. The more you do it, the better you feel, the more confident you go and, into the interview. And you can hear an answer that you wouldn't know how to answer and be like, okay, well, how would I answer that now that I screwed it up? And so you're just prepared.
Starting point is 01:09:43 Right. Is it give you a grade at the end? Like you've got the job or, no. That's funny. That's a funny video game. Can you get the job? And you can like select how difficult the job is. Pilot. Right. I'd like to get this job as a pilot. President of the United States. Oh, oh, wow. That would be tough. That would be real hard. That would be a funny game of any job and you have to take the interview and see if you could pass or fool them. Awesome. And finally, this is a sad story. One of the Buffalo shooting survivors details how the 911 dispatcher hung up on her. An assistant manager at the Topps friendly market where a man opened fire is detailing a 911 dispatcher hanging up on her. She tells WGRZ, I didn't really see much at all. I just heard the gunshots and just dropped down to the ground and just waited for him to stop.
Starting point is 01:10:27 He just wouldn't stop. So I called 911. I was whispering because I couldn't hear that he was super close. When I whispered, the dispatcher started yelling at me, saying, why are you whispering? You don't have. have to whisper. And I'm telling her, man, he's in the store. He's shooting. He's an active shooter. I'm scared for my life. The dispatcher then hung up and she had to call, have her boyfriend and have him call because he could speak at a normal voice level. What? The dispatcher is now on leave pending disciplinary hearing. That's from WGRZ. That sucks. You would think a dispatcher would know that some people have to whisper, though, not even in just this case, which is the most tragic of tragic. But if someone, if there is a domestic incident or there's abuse happening and you have
Starting point is 01:11:07 to hide, you would think a dispatcher would know that whispering is probably a tool that's needed at times. I hate to see that. Just a terrible, terrible story. All right, that's how we're ending it. Those were Bobby's big. Stories. Okay, an update next. Remember the guy that was like, I'm coming to Nashville, we've been married for 30 years? Merle. Merle. Merle. Yeah. And I said, I was like, well, come on. send you to dinner. So he's on. He's going to give us a heads up on what's going on there. And then I have a game which we may play after that. It could be controversial, but which country artist charges more on cameo. Don't go look. Don't go look. Camio's where you get. Because I, you would take any shortcut to cheat.
Starting point is 01:11:47 Yeah. So we'll see who charges. I'll give you two artists. Tell me who charges the most. Okay. We'll come back with that. Starting point is 01:15:25 slash military. Hey, let's talk to Merle, who, Merle called and said him and his wife's been together 30 years. Is that right, Murrell, 30 years? 35. Oh, well, that's even better. Wow. And so he called us and he wanted us to announce it to his wife that they were going to Nashville. So did she hear it for the first time on the radio?
Starting point is 01:15:42 Yes, sir. And what was her reaction? Tears. Tears. Fun. Like, tears, I'm so happy. Tears, I'm so moved because you're so romantic. Yeah, I could, I videoed it with my phone.
Starting point is 01:15:53 I could send you the video of. her whole reaction. And was it weird to her that she heard you on the radio? Did it take a second? It kind of, you know, it gave her like, she heard my voice, and then she kind of knew like, uh-oh, this is a surprise. And then when I said we were going to Nashville, that's when the faucets opened and the whole nine yards, and she was all happy.
Starting point is 01:16:13 And how'd the trip go? Oh, it was awesome. It was a blast the whole time we were there, and that's why I was calling today, is that thank you for everything you did. I mean, the reservations you made at Bourbon Steak was awesome, and the staff at Burbank. urban steak, like I was telling Abby, made us feel like we were the President of the United States with the King of England. Maybe they fell all over themselves to make sure we had a great time. I sent Lunchbox the Money Venmo, and then his job was to send it to you on.
Starting point is 01:16:40 Zilly. Zilly. Now, I started to worry that he was going to take a cup for himself. Uh-oh. Yeah. So. No need to ask him how much I sent. I know how much I gave him.
Starting point is 01:16:51 Was what he gave you a round number? Yes. Okay. I am super excited that you guys, one, have been together 35 years, that two, it was a great surprise when she heard you on the radio, and that three, you're able to come here and have a great time, and that we could somehow, and in some part, be a part of your celebration. So is my honor to buy you dinner, but I think, you know, the real hero, hero, or you two that have stayed together after 35 years. Hey, I really appreciate that. And I told AJ, the manager of Bourbon Steak, I'd give a shout out to his folks. Is that cool? Do whatever you want. Well, because AJ was cool, and then there was Alex, Alexis, Ellie, Taylor, Paul the bartender, who made me four old fashions, Tom, who served the pot pie, and Sean, who was busing the tables, and they were all totally cool. Oh, I love that.
Starting point is 01:17:41 And, yeah, I mean, that is just so cool to hear. He remembered every single person's name. He probably wrote it down. But even still. He drank four old fashions. And he remembered all their names. Taking the time. There's a lot of headlines buried here.
Starting point is 01:17:51 Yeah, yeah, yeah. I think got Sean busing the table. Like how, I mean, that's just super special. Merrill, congratulations. Glad that we could be here for you, but mostly glad that you guys have hung in there. And give me one piece of marriage advice. We're coming up on one year.
Starting point is 01:18:05 You've been there 34 more than us. What's the deal? Don't hold anything in. If something's non at you, get it out of the way and move forward. That's a tough one. What else you got? That was a little tougher.
Starting point is 01:18:16 I'm going to be a little tough. I can't really commit to that one right now. Can you give me a second one? Oh, well, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, surprised my wife often with stuff like this. I like that. Okay. So, you know, I mean, I'm constantly trying to let her know that, you know, she's still that one and that I want to, you know, make her world as best it can be.
Starting point is 01:18:37 I like that. I'm still going to let a little thing gnaw at me occasionally, but the second one, I'm going to keep trying to do that. Merle, tell your wife we said, happy anniversary. So glad we could be a part of your weekend and maybe one day we'll meet you soon, all right, buddy? I got four adult kids. You've already met one, but we're all going to be in Nashville later this year. We're going to do a long weekend with the kids, and my kids are really cool, and we always have a blast when we're all together.
Starting point is 01:19:02 We'll all go to Eddie's house and break a little bread. Wait a say, Eddie. We'll have some old-fashioned. We don't have enough for him. All right, Marl, have a good day, buddy. You too. Take care and thank you for everything. You're welcome. See you later. Heck of a show today. Earlier, we tested Morgan's smell. She got COVID in August of last year. and she's like, I think I can smell. So we tested it with some stuff. And I'll tell you, what we learned was, man, this stuff is weird. It's weird.
Starting point is 01:19:29 I'm just going to say that. Weird. So she can smell, but the whole thing's funky. Go listen to it on the podcast. Just search for the Bobby Bone show, wherever you podcast. And one of the other things was the celebrity facts. We did wow or who cares. But there were a lot of facts about some big-time celebrities that I had no idea.
Starting point is 01:19:46 So check it out on the podcast. Right now, we're going to pull. play which country artist charges more on cameo. Now, what cameo is, you go there and you say, hey, I'd like to have a celebrity do a shoutout. We bought one from Ray and Bay before, our producer, Ray in Bay. And I've watched Ray do his, and people like, oh, he's really good at him.
Starting point is 01:20:03 Mine was like four seconds. We paid like 30 bucks for a four-second cameo. That's when I first started out, and like I told you, I wore Arkansas stuff, so there was clothes, it was background stuff that was red. We put in more than just the four seconds. I gave him one star. Let's be honest. Oh, you did?
Starting point is 01:20:18 No. But Ray and Bay are up on cameo. How much right now, Ray? We're at 30. We dropped it a little bit just to help out the college grads. Nah, it means demand was low. Let's be honest. The college grads.
Starting point is 01:20:30 All right, here we go. Who charges more? Okay. Amy, lunchbox, Eddie, write your answers down. Gary LaVox, lead singer of Rascal Flats, or Randy Travis. Oh, man. Gary LaVox, lead singer of Rascal Flats,
Starting point is 01:20:50 or 80s and 90s, superstar Randy Travis. Wow. Okay. Amy? I'm shocked Randy Travis is on cameo, but I'm going with him because, like, his is a bit more valuable. Okay, lunchbox? I was shocked Randy Travis is on cameo,
Starting point is 01:21:07 and that's the reason I'd say he charges more also. Eddie? Lovox has a hunting addiction. He needs to feed that addiction, so give me Lovox. You got to buy shells and stuff? Oh, yeah, Camo. I think Randy has help on his. Yeah. Yeah, I think he does. I think he's help on it. I'm pretty sure. But the answer, but the answer
Starting point is 01:21:23 is at $225, you can get you a Gary LaVoxe cameo. Randy Travis is at 200. Oh, wow. So still, still steep. All right, next up, Lee Greenwood, Mr. God bless the USA. No.
Starting point is 01:21:43 No. Proud to be an American. You know what? I was like, that doesn't sound like. Me either. I tried to sing in my head and I was like, it does not sound like him. Proud to be in America. Or Josh Turner.
Starting point is 01:21:53 Bernie. Blas, some clothe down low. Oh, man. Lee Greenwood. I mean, this is... Because I'm proud to be an American. Josh Turner. I'm in.
Starting point is 01:22:09 In. Amy? Lee Greenwood. Lunchbox? Josh Turner. Eddie? I think Lee Greenwood has more demand. What do you think, Amy?
Starting point is 01:22:19 The answer is, by the way. Yeah. What do you think of Lee Greenwood? What do you think of Lee Greenwood? Wayne Wood goes for. Oh, 300. That's exactly what he goes for. What?
Starting point is 01:22:28 Well, that's a lot. She probably bought one yesterday. She knows. No. She buys him every day. I like Lee. I've spent some time with Lee at the Opry backstage. You know, my buddy's Matt Jones, who does Kentucky Sports Radio.
Starting point is 01:22:39 And he told me that as a kid, he would be irritated in class because they would make them stand not just for this song, but for every verse. So every morning, he'd be standing for four minutes. The whole song. Yes, that's what I said, too. The whole song. That's very nice. I love the chorus. I love the first verse, but he's like, yeah, every day.
Starting point is 01:22:55 So I have this association with Lee Greenwood, my feet hurting. So Lee Greenwood was like four doors down. And so I went over and we spent some time with him. Lovely guy. And I was like, Matt Jones a huge fan. And he was like, oh, great. And then Matt was like, that was really cool. But it just reminds me my feet hurting.
Starting point is 01:23:10 He told him to his face. He didn't tell him that. Nope. He told me that. All right. Leanne Rhymes or Rodney Atkins. For Leanne Rimes, by the way, easy. She has a lot of stuff.
Starting point is 01:23:21 Rodney Atkins made me want to take. Back road made me want a day home day little bears be my bottom he has the chicken nuggets song too right he does yeah because I'm just watching you ain't that's a good it's hard to do that with the music oh he's good go ahead let's see I'll tell you that they're both over 250 wow that's crazy what why did you say what I go ahead no I can't believe Rodney Atkins can charge that much he can charge whatever he wants No, no, I'm saying, I can't believe. That's what I'm saying.
Starting point is 01:23:56 I can't believe people would pay $2.50 for that. Maybe they don't. I'll tell you what, they pay more than that. They pay more than that. Seriously. But okay, who's more? Leanne Rhymes or Rodney Ackins? Amy.
Starting point is 01:24:05 Rodney Ackons. Lunchbox. Leanne Rhymes. Eddie. Leanne Rhymes. The answer is, Leanne Rhyme's at $333 for a cameo. Rodney Ackins, $299.
Starting point is 01:24:18 I wonder if you list days like you do a house. And you're like, I'm not you do $170,000. $169,99. 99.99. Yeah. Sarah Evans, and got the suds in the bucket and the bucket bucket bucket the suds. Or Tyler Hubbard from FGL.
Starting point is 01:24:34 And the clothes are not on the lawn. So Suds in a bucket or yeah, baby. So only one of them. Not the, it's only one. Yeah, you don't get both of them. Oh, not Florida, Georgia. Yeah, I don't think they're going to be in a video together. Unless it's on stage. Got it.
Starting point is 01:24:53 Okay, I'm in. Everybody good? Yeah. Eddie? Tyler, yeah, baby. Hubbard. Lunchbox? Yeah, baby.
Starting point is 01:25:00 Give me that money. Hubbard. Amy? Tyler Hubbard. Tyler Hubbard goes for $135 for a cameo. Sarah Evans goes for $200. Whoa. Listen, Sarah Evans would be a cool one.
Starting point is 01:25:17 Yeah. It would be cool. Yeah. For $200? Oh, I would not pay, I'm not paying $10. I just have to do an interview and be like, hey, buddy, record this from us. Right. Yes, but that's right.
Starting point is 01:25:28 So it's not a good thing for me to just. judge, because I'm jaded. But lunchbox keeps freaking bad about every price, and it's like literally each person can totally pick whatever they want to charge. How much do you charge? 50. Should be more. Overpriced, right? He's going to raise it out of today. Do you think he should be more than Rodney Atkins? Yes. I mean, if someone pays that much for Rodney Atkins, I just can't believe.
Starting point is 01:25:50 What? $300 for that guy? No, $2.99. $2.99. Wait, did you say what? What? Why is he, why is he, why is he not allowed? to have a fan base and you are. No, he is, but $299? He's got good songs. He must be having people buy them or he's keeping it that price. Right.
Starting point is 01:26:08 I mean, I should be charging more than they're charging $2.99. Then do it, $300 today. Dina Carter. Okay. Strawberry wine. Yeah. Or Carly Pierce. Oh.
Starting point is 01:26:20 I'm in. We'll do this and one more. We will play this song, Ray. I want to be sure to get this song on. It's easy. Okay. All right. Dina Carter or Carly Pierce.
Starting point is 01:26:29 Carly Pierce. Much box? Dina Carter. Why are you so mad at him? He's angry. Yeah, go ahead. I got you, but we'll come back to that. Carly Pierce.
Starting point is 01:26:37 Carly Pierce is 75 bucks. Oh. Dina Carter is 175. It's funny how those memories. Good for her. Lunch, Mike, when I said the two, you with some vengeance, said Dina Carter. Why?
Starting point is 01:26:53 Well, because if Carly Pierce thinks she's on Dina Carter's level, then she's dreaming. Like, that's what I mean. Like, if you go on there and you're setting your price and you see that you're the same price as Dina Carter, you need to lower it. And I'm glad that she realizes that she's not as valuable. She's working her way there, but she's not there.
Starting point is 01:27:11 But I don't really think that anybody, it's like really how many do you want to make or what do you want to do? Like some people are like, okay, fine, I'll put it at 500. If someone wants to pay that, they can great and I'll make the video. Other than that, I don't want to sit around making videos all day. Then why get on it? Because you have a chance to maybe make $500. There's a point of both, both of your statements. Why get on it if you don't want to do videos?
Starting point is 01:27:30 If you don't want to do videos, then don't get on. Yeah, I'm not going to do it for a nickel. I'm not on there, but right. You know, you're not, and you shouldn't. Okay. Is anybody keeping score? But, I mean, Carly Pierce is $75. I think I may raise mine.
Starting point is 01:27:42 You versus her? Yeah. Who? What? I think I should probably be then 76. No, go $300. Rodney Aiken. Listen, I think we should do a little social experiments.
Starting point is 01:27:50 Well, you should go. He should go $2.99. So if you all sold tickets, you could go to a Rodney Akin show, a Carly Pierce show, or a lunchwalk show. Exactly. Let's just throw it out there. Who would sell more tickets? Well, because they have songs. Yeah?
Starting point is 01:28:03 Exactly. But you say things. I understand that. Making deals, making me not money. Yeah, oh yeah, Nico Jackson. Now that you put it that way, they have fans. He's like... No, I understand they have fans, but...
Starting point is 01:28:13 Okay. By the way, Eddie, you're winning three to two to two. Oh, nice. So if you get it right, you win. All right. Let's see these Michael heads do. All right, finally. Make it a hard one.
Starting point is 01:28:23 Okay. They've all been hard. Okay, I'm going to give you two that these aren't the ones. But Lany Wilson or Michael Ray, the answer would have been Lainty Wilson, 50 bucks, Michael Ray 30. How do you feel about that one? I mean, he's got a lot of hits. We're not commenting.
Starting point is 01:28:34 We're moving on because we're out of time here. Travis Denning or Lone Star. Travis Denning $40 and Lone Star 125. Wow. And for the win here, here we go. Jana Kramer or Granger Smith? Oh, this is tough. So you have Jana Kramer from One Tree Hill.
Starting point is 01:28:54 Oh, I'm in. Had a couple songs. Got a popular podcast. You have Granger Smith to Earl Dibbles, freaking junior songs. That's right. Earl Divel Yee, baby
Starting point is 01:29:06 Amy Okay, so both could charge a lot But I'm going Granger Lunchbox It's Granger Eddie? For the win Granger is a business man
Starting point is 01:29:18 Well, you matched them all Regardless of what happens I thought he was guessing Jana that's why I went Granger really But the winner is Janica For 175 Granger 78 bucks
Starting point is 01:29:28 Oh good for her There you go Okay well we're gonna hold on Lunchbox is What Eddie you won Yeah, thank you, thank you. This story comes to us from Wayne County, Kentucky. A 22-year-old man was nice, got his mom an Xbox controller for Mother's Day.
Starting point is 01:29:48 Later that day, he wanted to use it, and she said no. So they got in an argument, and he shot her. Oh. On the video game? Like Call the Duty? No, no, no. He said, fine, I'm leaving. And as he was walking out the door, he fired one shot and hit her.
Starting point is 01:30:00 In the arm. She's not going to die or anything like that. but he was arrested. I think if you were going to shoot her, probably get on some Fortnite and do it there. So he goes to jail, and then what happened to her, I assume she's just patched up.
Starting point is 01:30:14 Yeah, she's patched up, and she's playing Xbox. Now that I like. That she's still playing? Yeah, good for her. I'm Lunchbox. That's your Bonehead story of the day. You guys can follow me on Instagram
Starting point is 01:30:25 if you'd like at Mr. Bobby Bones. A Chicago woman had a really interesting situation almost tragic after she ended up on life support for a week after her dog headbutter, which is so random. Her name's Aaron Stevenson, 41, out in the yard with her Staffordshire Bull Terrier, which I had.
Starting point is 01:30:47 They are very energetic dogs. Lovely dogs. Get over-excited. Was that dusty? Mm-hmm. Awesome. They look like pit bull, so everybody's like, I hate that dog.
Starting point is 01:30:57 And then I get mad because I'm like, why you judge my dog? And it's a whole... But still, lovely dogs. And so her dog jumped up. and like showed his head in her chin like head butted her chin and so it was such a bad hit into her head that it led to like an abscess in her brain from that impact and it cracked some teeth and so she was on life support they had to take out two of her teeth put a drain her neck the live support was to make sure there were no secondary infections and now she's fine she can only open her mouth to a certain point like that. So I'm saying almost tragic. She didn't die. She's fine. But she can only go like 60% of thing like Owen. Wow. So that means, let's think about this. No conies from Sonic. No chili she's conies. Unless you fork it. That's right. You don't want to fork a
Starting point is 01:31:47 chili dog. But you don't want to fork a chili dog. That's not the way it's like your cycle killer. If that's your first purpose. Really? I don't. What about a spork? Yeah. I'm just not in the forking generally, you know. What else would you not eat? I mean, probably a big cheeseburger, like a hamburger. Going to the dentist. Dennis is tough. I'm trying to think of things I'd do this for. Yeah, you're doing.
Starting point is 01:32:11 It'd be tough to really get into the national. Oh, sake. You can't do choir. That's from New York Post. Man, that is just tough. It's like a pop into the chin, teeth break. You think you're fine. But then, again, there was a little thing that grew in a brain.
Starting point is 01:32:30 KFC employee helps us, alleged kidnapping after the woman passes a note begging for help. An employee at a Tennessee KFC helped stop a kidnapping after getting a note from the victim. Memphis police responded to a kidnapping after 5 p.m. The employee was able to give authorities a description of both the woman and the man she was
Starting point is 01:32:46 with. According to police, the suspect identified as 23-year-old Diego Gleigh refused to obey the officer's commands that took off running after they caught him and then it turns out they should pass a note to the person working. That sounds like a movie. You know it does and it's If you're the person that's being kidnapped, that's a risky move.
Starting point is 01:33:05 Because if they see you pass the note at the kidnapper, they just kill you. So thankfully, the KFC employee wasn't like, ha, ha, I got your name. You're not being kidnapped. Am I on camera? Out loud. So glad that they were able to save her and get him. That story's from people. We'll see tomorrow.
