Starting point is 00:02:45 The doorbell cameras catch everything now. It's like I think about committing crimes a lot, but now I know there are doorbell cameras everywhere. Can't do it. You can't do it anymore. I also want to go like ding-dong ditch. Sometimes I just get bored and want to do that. I know I can't do that. But it's tougher for people, especially like Amazon drivers, they screw up or food.
Starting point is 00:03:03 Any delivery, if you mess up or you do something purposeful, it's there and it can go viral. So there's a story Order from Jimmy Johns And in the video The driver backs up to her driveway Opens the door drops the bag on the pavement And drives away Just roop-d-d-d-d-d-pah
Starting point is 00:03:17 Oh wow Then heads out And so They were like, what do you do? Tip bed? He was like, no Tip 20% on a $10 order And so it's just him driving up
Starting point is 00:03:27 I mean, doesn't walk up to the door Doesn't do anything except Boom, drop it on the curb Which, pretty funny It's pretty funny that we have the footage Because you know All those buddies are celebrating them right now. You think he'd be embarrassed
Starting point is 00:03:40 and we're like, Clint! You made it. You made him, man, you blew up on TikTok. But you just have to be careful now. It's good for us because now everybody's kind of watched. It's also a big brother like, everybody's kind of watched. So kind of a double-edged sword there. Glad everybody's up with us. I got a couple things I wanted
Starting point is 00:03:56 to mention. I woke up this morning and I had my phone out. I hit video on my phone as soon as I got out to bed. Immediately, I was like, I'm going to catch one of these foxes in the act. A foxes at my house and yesterday we talked about it. They were on my back porch looking in the window. like prison style when you're talking with an inmate, like that close. And I was like, what?
Starting point is 00:04:13 So we talked about it yesterday. I woke up, hit video, rolled out of bed. No chance I was going to see one. I saw one in the distance. And I have it on my phone. And so I'm recording it. And I'm like, oh my goodness, oh my goodness, I got it. I got it.
Starting point is 00:04:24 And then three more right behind it. He brought his buddies with them. I've got all four foxes that are living at the house and they don't care. It's like, again, like, like, Bugs Bunny just chilling in front of Elmer Flood. Like, what's you're going to do there? And so I sent it to Eddie and Mike. Just to make sure that it, because I felt like, am I crazy? Isn't this so weird this is happening?
Starting point is 00:04:44 Right, guys, this is weird, right? I've never seen foxes like that in broad daylight walk right up to a house. I mean, dude, you were just on the other side of the window taking the video of it. It's like, looks at you and like, oh, look at all my buddies are out here too. They're hanging out in the yard. Crazy. Usually, you would think either dark or they be in holes. But they were so brave just hanging out.
Starting point is 00:05:02 So now I've got to go trap them, but I've also now named them. Oh, all four of them? So now I love them. Yeah. And I also want to kill them. So I'm torn. So the goal is to find some trappers and then free them into the wild. But I don't want to free them one by one.
Starting point is 00:05:16 They lose each other. Yeah, they need to free all four of them and then put them out together. So, or just adopt them and let them live in the room. Would you be opposed to just leaving your door open overnight and see if they come on in? That'd be so funny. My wife would kill me. Kill me dead. But hilarious.
Starting point is 00:05:33 That'd be so funny. Would they attack you? No. No. Like, I don't know. They love him. No, I don't think so. Unless they're rabid, hungry, or threatened, probably not.
Starting point is 00:05:45 And I don't think they're any of those. They would run from me. Yeah, they're really not. They're so comfortable there, which is the weirdest thing. So we have that happening at our house right now. We have to figure out of them, but in a humane way. I also got a picture, and I woke up this morning, and somebody tagged me on Instagram. They're like, hey, I go into Mount Pine.
Starting point is 00:06:02 What's all your sign? Boy, that home with Bobby Bones. Yeah, it's like, cool. I reposted it. No big deal. and then I started to get other messages about the repost and people are like it there are bullet holes in that sign Yeah dude I saw it
Starting point is 00:06:11 There are bullet holes and it's bent It's beat up Who's that? What's happening here? Yeah I saw the same thing So if you Dude it's in bad shape What is happening? I try to keep that town alive
Starting point is 00:06:25 And now they're shooting at me How long has that sign been up? Couple years, three years? Oh, probably more than that Okay, all right Because I feel like just as the years have gone That thing just looks worn out Well they had to replace it because somebody stole it
Starting point is 00:06:35 And now people are shooting it. It's happening here. So I guess it's true. You either die a hero or eventually turn into a villain. How in the world does someone even... What did they take a gun and a baseball bat to it? I feel like they took the bottom of the gun and beat it and shot it. What in the world?
Starting point is 00:06:51 I saw that, which isn't good. And then I come in this morning. I've been really sick. I've had the last few days. I've been slowly getting back to normal. And my doctor, I can't have this cough, right? I can't get rid of the cough. And the cough leaves, I guess, once all the crap comes out of your chest,
Starting point is 00:07:04 but I have trouble sleeping with the cough. So the doctor gave me some medicine. And it's codeine cough syrup. And so I'd be careful. Yeah, I'd be careful. I'd be careful. You know, I had a little drink last night. Purple drink.
Starting point is 00:07:16 I love that. I had a very little drink. I did this. I took the bottle and I went. Did it even work? That's it? Huh? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:07:25 Did it even the work? Yeah. It slept all the day through the night. What? Wow. Yeah. I mean, listen to how hardcore it is. Listen to all the way.
Starting point is 00:07:31 Like, watch. That's all I needed. Whoa. Easy. That's why I was. I wondered if those foxes were even real. I'll be honest with you. No, they're real.
Starting point is 00:07:38 We saw the video. They're real. So I had one, I mean, just a lot like this. And then I, and then I never slept through the night ever in my life. I don't, the last five years, I don't sleep. And so, I took a drink like that. And then I woke up and thought it would be like 12, 30th when I wake up the first time. It was like three hours past that.
Starting point is 00:07:56 I was like, oh my goodness. So anyway, if you guys have any like, you know, shady buddies that have a whole bunch of this, let me know. I found I'm going to sleep now. Must be some good stuff. Yeah, it tastes terrible, and I'll probably use it tonight, maybe only, and then I'll just flush it. I have a problem with starting to use something and then being super dependent on it. And, you know, I keep from getting addicted.
Starting point is 00:08:19 When I would go to the dentist, like crazy, I had tons of mouth surgeries, which I have a mouth three later today, which stinks. But they would give me Vicodin, and I had to flush it on toilet because I'd be like, this is the greatest stuff. I'm going to take it every day. I love it. It's my new wife. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:08:32 But I can't because my family has a huge history of addiction. Self-awareness. And I know. I know what's coming. So I remember flushing it down the toilet. Wow. I'm being like, I can't do it. So anyway, I'll be selling this to you guys in a couple days.
Starting point is 00:08:43 If you guys want to buy my code name. Scoobo Steve stands up real quick. It's that time of the morning. Let's open up the mailbag. You send an email and we read it on the air. It's something we call Bobby's mailbag. Yeah. Hello.
Starting point is 00:08:59 Oh, Bobby Bones. I need some dating advice. I'm 26. I'm a dating a girl I met. Dating for 50. few years. She's a few years younger than I am. The thing is, she has a picture of Harry Stiles as her lock screen. Not from a concert, not of them together. Just a random picture on the internet. She mentioned he's her favorite artist, but I feel like it's a red flag if she
Starting point is 00:09:19 has him as her lock screen. Is she obsessed with him? Is she trying to manifest meeting him and falling in love? Maybe I'm overthinking it, but do you think it's a red flag if a girl has a celebrity as their lock screen signed Matt S? Well, Matt, I'd like to also confess something to you here, so you don't feel so alone. I also have Harry Styles in my lockscreen. This is not something to worry about, buddy. I guess it's weird, but it's not something to change your relationship on because she has Harry Styles as her lock screen. It'd make more sense if she was with him in the picture, sure.
Starting point is 00:09:52 And it may just be to be funny. Heck, I have the same picture. I don't change mine. I've had mine for 10 months at this point. But I do not think that it is a dating red flag. Morgan, if you're with a guy, so you're dating him and you look at his and he's got a, Reese Witherspoon. That's what we were going to pick, but okay, because she's older now.
Starting point is 00:10:09 But as a lock screen, is that a red flag to you? I mean, no, I wouldn't be concerned about it per se, but I would be like a little offended that. Why don't you have a picture of us or your dog or something a little more personal? I think you can say something about it, too. I think you can make fun of him about it or her. We can make fun of her about it. You're like, oh, you know, you can't have Harry.
Starting point is 00:10:28 You just talk with me here. So let's move it on over to me. Like, you can do that. That's fine. If there's nothing else in her life that says, that she's obsessed with Harry Style in an unhealthy way, it's fine. It's not a big deal. Don't break up a relationship because of this. I'm sure there are other things you can find to break up that relationship there. My lock screen now? It's my wife and I. It's a picture from
Starting point is 00:10:47 Mike D's wedding. That's been over a year. Yeah, Kayla changes her. She's actually every few weeks or so she puts up a new picture. And most of the time it has me in it. Oh, most of the time. Most of the time. And sometimes I'm like, hey, hey, why don't you have me on that picture? So that is, that is not a red flag. It is a warning. of a possible yellow flag. How about that? Yeah, I think that's good. Watch out for possible yellow flags.
Starting point is 00:11:10 But that new Harry's album is really good. I haven't said that. Yeah, it's good. It's called Harry's House. All right, that's it. Thank you. Close it up. We've got your email and we've read it on your air.
Starting point is 00:11:21 Now it's about to close Bobby's mailbag. Yeah. You see like they have focus groups, maybe in a TV commercial where they have, Amy, there's a big table and there's all these people sitting around a table and they're like, what do you think about this color or this name? We kind of have that here. But Lunchbox read my kid's book, Stanley the dog, the first day of school, to his kids, right? Yeah, my two-year-old and my three-year-old.
Starting point is 00:11:42 Okay, so you have audio of you doing this? Are you just going to tell me? No, I got audio. I sat them down in the room right before bedtime, and I pulled it out of my backpack because you gave it to me. And I read the title of the book, and my three-year-old had a problem with the concept of the book. It's called Stanley the dog, the first day of school. What do you think? What do you mean?
Starting point is 00:12:04 That's a good point Yeah man, he's right I mean, right off the bat He was just like He saw the dog And the school bus window And he was just like This dog don't go to school
Starting point is 00:12:15 That's silly And he just was He was like I don't get it When I told my publisher The book I said here's my idea They said Dogs don't go to school
Starting point is 00:12:22 Same exact thing So I get it Okay so here's a clip A Lunchbox Reading my book to his boys Today was the first day of school And Stanley really didn't want to go Daucy
Starting point is 00:12:33 Dwight old and Ben And he dithered over which color to wear. He didn't even touch his breakfast. Yeah, school bus. Yeah. I like this. Bye-bye. Yep.
Starting point is 00:12:48 Beep, beep, went the bus. Have fun, said Bobby. And with a stumble and a bumble, Stanley trotted off to catch his ride. The close of the bus drew to school, the more Stanley felt his stomach turning back. He'd never been to school before. Sounds like the show.
Starting point is 00:13:02 Oh, my God. Honestly, that sounds like this show. That's what I feel like with you guys. It's the same. I'm like, I'm like I felt, you know what it feels like now in lunchbox. I mean, over and over. My two-year-old was obsessed with the school bus.
Starting point is 00:13:13 Every time we turned the page, he'd be like, Dad out, where's the school bus? And he'd make me go back to the school bus. He just wanted to look at the school bus the whole time. All right, so the focus group loves a school bus. Did you get to the end of the book? Oh, we got to the end of the book, and they loved it, and they enjoyed it.
Starting point is 00:13:28 I thought it was funny, and they liked the dogs. But my three-year-old got sad, he was like, why does the other dog tell me he has to go to the back of the line? That's mean. That's the point. Yes, not everybody at school is super nice to Stanley, but he, you know, he finds where he fits in, which is just with himself. Yes. Yes.
Starting point is 00:13:44 And so it was a success. And we read it two nights in a row. And we'll see about tonight if tonight's three nights in a row. Is that the whole vibe every time you're reading? Just all the time. Any book you're reading? Yeah. Oh, wow.
Starting point is 00:13:57 Well, not all the time. I mean, if they like it, they ask questions about it, but they want to see certain things. But yes, you go back to that paint. The school bus, dad, school bus. Love the school bus. Yeah, yeah. That's like on the show. Lottery story, Bobby, lottery story.
Starting point is 00:14:10 Okay, lunchbox. Here's another lottery story. Okay, well, thank you. If you guys want to get the book, you can. It's like 15 bucks. It is, I'm very proud of it. I'm not keeping any of the money that we make from the first year.
Starting point is 00:14:20 People go, why the first year? Because usually doesn't make any money after the first year. So I just don't want to have to keep up with it when I'm 73 years old and be like, well, I didn't give them six bucks this year and then I end up going to jail or something, you know? Yeah, then you get called out for it.
Starting point is 00:14:31 Yeah, so it's like, well, a year. Anybody who make up the book in a year? we're going to donate. Well, we read it and Stevenson was enjoyed it. He's totally different age to them. He's 11, but he still enjoyed it as an 11 year old. And his favorite, I think, was the surprise from
Starting point is 00:14:45 a cat makes an appearance. So there's not just dogs. So a 3-year-old and 11-year-old, and rumor is, Ray loved it too. Right, Ray? Yeah. The different message for everybody. That's all right. The latest from Nashville and Hollywood. Morgan number two 30-second skinny.
Starting point is 00:15:02 Luke Combs is officially a dad. He and his wife Nicole welcomed a baby boy on Father's Day. His name is Tex Lawrence Combs. Congratulations to Scotty McCreery and his wife Gabby. They are expecting their first child together. The baby boy is due in November. ACM's party for a cause is back this year. Brothers Osborne, Darius Rucker, Sarah Evans, Blanco Brown, Travis Denning, and Kaylee Hammock were all announced as performers. The show happens August 23rd in Nashville. I'm Morgan. That's your skinny. Time for the good news.
Starting point is 00:15:35 With Amy. Tell me something good. So this kid that just turned nine, his name is Hunter Peterson. He lives in Wisconsin. And for his birthday, he said, no toys. Hey, family, hey friends. Don't give me any gifts. Donate to the police department again with stuffed animals for their kids.
Starting point is 00:15:54 And I say again, because this is the third birthday that he's decided to do this. Well, I'll step up for him then and say, don't forget him. I know you're going to probably donate. He's probably done some good work here, right? Yeah, this year he was able to donate 511 full-sized stuffed animals, along with a lot of smaller things and toys. And this is his biggest donation yet. So he's not stopping here.
Starting point is 00:16:15 He's got future birthdays, hopefully, coming up, and he wants to hit a goal of a thousand. So you, for his birthday, donate. But if you don't get him something, he's going to be sad. He's still a kid. I love it that he's eight, nine years old, and that's what he wants to do. His first thought is to give to others.
Starting point is 00:16:29 That's a great story. That is what it's all about. That was Tell Me Something Good. All right, let's feel old. It's a list of songs that old millennials grew up with. It's now classic rock. And so I was born in 1980, so I'm running that line of millennial or Gen X. And these are songs that I grew up with, but now you flip it on the classic rock station and then like, Green Day, classic rock.
Starting point is 00:16:53 And you're like, oh, come on. So even classic country sometimes on the classic country station, they're like, and now enjoy a song from Riba. And you're like, no, no, I'm not getting older. So here we go, the top five here at number five from 1992. It's 30 years old. Amy, do you know this song from Radiohead? Yes. Yes?
Starting point is 00:17:14 Do you know what that is? Free. Go ahead, sing it. Real big creep. Nope. No, no. No. No, no.
Starting point is 00:17:22 But I do know it. Yeah, I believe you. It's pretty big. But they really don't play that song, which is a weird thing. Live, they don't do it. Yeah, so that one's on classic rock. At number four, you'll for sure know. Here's Alanis.
Starting point is 00:17:33 Man, you're that on Classic Rock Station. I mean, but to be honest, we were listening to Listen to seventh grade. It's still sad. Sixth grade maybe? Still! I mean, yeah, that's not fair. That's the truth. Man, I think I was in high school.
Starting point is 00:17:49 Yeah. Yeah, well, you're older than me. Crazy. Okay, here we go. It gets worse. At number three on Classic Rock Radio, you will hear this song. No! No!
Starting point is 00:17:58 Yeah, the oasis, Wonderwall. That's for sure high school for me. Man, I need to teach my kids this stuff. They don't care. They don't care. They won't like it. They really don't. Yeah, we're stupid.
Starting point is 00:18:09 Our music was stupid, all that. Number two, the chili peppers. Here you go. I don't have a want to be. Good one. And then number one on classic rock radio, Nirvana, smells like teen spirit. Yeah. It's just, yeah, I listened to a lot of classic rock radio when I was a kid, and it was all like 70s, 60s and 70s.
Starting point is 00:18:29 It was like deep purple, Credon's Clearwater Revival. Yeah. And now all of a sudden, here it is, the chili peppers. And that's us. Yeah. I'm now Arkansas, Keith. So what is Zeppelin now? Oldies? It's still on Classic Rock, just a wider range.
Starting point is 00:18:42 Dang. Just a wider range. But time marches on, guys. Not make me feel good at all. We're marching on with it. Now we have people's kids come up to us and be like, yeah, yeah, my mom always loved you. You're like, dang, you might, people, your age just come to be like, I love you. Getting older, guys.

Anthony was thrown 25 feet in the air and he fell even further than that down and landed on a concrete pile of rubble. Severe injuries. Spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury. He's confined to a wheelchair and is non-communicative.
Starting point is 00:23:56 And so we heard his story. We talked to our audience about it and we said, hey, would you guys mind stepping up to our audience. We said, would you mind stepping up? Because what we want to do for this Purple Heart recipient, someone who has given so much of his life to us, we want to make sure that at least he can live his day-to-day life a little more comfortable because he is in a wheelchair. And I'd tell you, with Yvonne and, you know, with Anthony, they have such a positive attitude. With their son, we were moved at how the conversation went and how you got your outlook is on life. And I tell you right now that as we've sold these shirts, we're almost at $100,000. Oh my God. Are you kidding me?
Starting point is 00:24:34 Wouldn't that be the worst joke ever if I brought her on and I was like, yes, I'm kidding, Avon. We're at nine grand. Yeah, I'm not kidding. And we're almost at $100,000. And that was our goal. So let me say this to our listeners before I get back on with Avon here is that this is our goal as a show. You know, it's to be funny sometimes. It's to be compelling, make you feel, but it's really to help.
Starting point is 00:24:56 And you guys are the biggest part of that. So today, it's the last day. today and early tomorrow that you can actually get in to help us do this. So go to bobbybones.com because I think if you get it, you still get your shirt in time for July 4th. Yeah, so it's our patriotic Pimp and Joy line. And we've done this several years in a row for different heroes through building homes for heroes. And we're just honored to come alongside. And yeah, you get a Pimpinjoy, red, white, and blue, something.
Starting point is 00:25:20 You pick the shirt you want out of the hat, whatever. And it's got 100% of the proceeds go to Yvonne and her family. Hey, Yvonne, how much will this actually help you guys, really? I can't even, like, I can't even begin to tell you what a huge, like, help and just relief it would be for us financially to be able to make this house even more comfortable and more welcoming and more everything for Anthony and our family. I'm flabbergasted. I really am. I have, I rarely am without words. Well, we'll take that, the listeners will take that as a compliment because it's our honor to help you. And so we're almost at $100,000. I encourage you guys to go to bobbybones.com.
Starting point is 00:26:08 If I could ask you a question, because, you know, we spent some time with Anthony last time. And, again, he's in a wheelchair. He's non-communicative. How do you communicate with him? So he's gotten pretty good at eye blinks for yes, no, over the years with lots of work, right, babe? Yes. With lots of work, lots of practice. he gets pretty good at one blink for yes and two for no.
Starting point is 00:26:31 So I base that on, you know, for everyday little trivial questions, you know, Anthony, do you want to watch this movie or do you want to listen to a podcast or, you know, whatever the case may be, yes, no blinks work pretty well. As far as his health and well-being, I have learned and have become pretty good at reading his body language, along with, of course, his vitals and everything. but just looking at his face and his facial expressions or his body language, I can tell if he's in pain or uncomfortable or bored, really. Pretty much anything, he's very expressive with his body language and facial expressions.
Starting point is 00:27:10 Well, I hope that, you know, you guys are excited because we are so excited to be able to do this for you guys as a show. And when I say as a show, I don't mean just people in the room, but it's people in the room and the people that listen to us every day because, you know, they really lift us up. So hopefully we can do the same for you. So we're so close to $100,000 today and tomorrow is the last day you can get your Pimp and Joy stuff. And Amy, if you could give us the 30 second version of what Pimp and Joy is.
Starting point is 00:27:34 Well, it started just quickly the roots with my mom when she was diagnosed with cancer. We made her a Twitter handle and it was Judy B. Pimpin Joy. And from that, Bobby was like, hey, let's do a hashtag Pimp and Joy and listeners can share with us ways they're spreading joy to others.
Starting point is 00:27:48 And that's what my mom did at the hospital. Like she was facing adversity, but she wanted to spread joy to others. and her motto was choose joy for herself, and the joy of the Lord is my strength was what she said to herself over and over to give her that strength to spread joy to others. And then from that, we did a hat and the hat sold out. And then we did a shirt to fundraise for where my kids lived at the orphanage in Haiti.
Starting point is 00:28:10 Those sold out. And we thought, wow, we have something here. So often we do different campaigns. And right now it's for Navy Petty Officer, Second Class Anthony Thompson and his family. And this is just amazing. So when you're buying something Pimpin' Joy, all proceeds are going to whatever cause. And the cause right now is to help refit their home. Well, thank you, Yvonne.
Starting point is 00:28:30 I can't wait to talk to you one final time. And we'll get you this and we'll get it rebuilt. And hopefully you guys will have a more comfortable life. And we're just so honored that you would let us do this for you because of what, you know, Anthony has done for us. I think I can speak for the both of us. We are truly, truly thankful and honored and just appreciative of everything that you, Bobby, and your entire staff there. everybody across the nation that listens.
Starting point is 00:28:55 Just thank you. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you so very much. You're very welcome. We'll talk to you soon and have a good rest of the week. All right, Yvonne? You've just topped our week off.
Starting point is 00:29:06 I mean, it doesn't get any better than this. So thank you. Thank you. Thank you, Yvonne. Talk to you soon. All right, take care. All right, bye-bye. All right, so let's do it. Bobbybones.com.
Starting point is 00:29:14 We'll put that up now if you guys want to go be a part of that. Great job so far. We're almost there. A voicemail from Nicole in Nashville. heard you guys talking about food and how long you can eat it after it's expired. And I heard Amy say that you can just cut mold off of cheese and bread and it's totally fine. I'm a nutritionist and actually it's not okay.
Starting point is 00:29:36 The mold that you can see goes all the way through and runs through it and there's invisible particles that go through the bread and the cheese. So the visible part is like the iceberg. It's just the surface. Thanks. Love you guys. Oh, dang. You may have killed a listener or two.
Starting point is 00:29:53 Wow. Just putting it out there. To apologize. What would you like to say? Yeah. This is my official apology to America. I blame the article I read about it, and I will no longer do that. Okay.
Starting point is 00:30:06 Take some personal responsibility, not for the article. But how else would I have gotten the knowledge? I guess I should have fact checked with a nutritionist. You should have eaten some moldy cheese yourself and then told us. I don't know, but I've grown up hearing that. Maybe it's just how our parents grew up. Holly in Oklahoma left this voicemail. I'm sorry so many people didn't understand what you've said a lot of times about the book.
Starting point is 00:30:27 You're awesome for signing all of those stickers that go in the book. I got mine. I got the book. I put it in there. It looks so cute. I love it. Thank you so much for letting your hand hurt for doing that for us. You're the best.
Starting point is 00:30:39 Thanks, Holly. Yeah, that's been a frustrating part of my life right now where I said, hey, I'm going to sign all these things, all these books. And so I've signed all this art that goes in the book. And I, where's my sign book? well, I have signed 13,000 of them and we're mailing them out for ourselves. There's no machine that's mailing them. So people are like, okay.
Starting point is 00:30:56 Anyway, I don't have to do it. It's just like, hey, if you pre-ordered, I'm happy to do it. We're going to do the pre-order anyway. And it's a issue because I'm constantly getting messages. I hate you. They give me one-star reviews on Amazon. I'm like, I love the book. He didn't sign it.
Starting point is 00:31:11 It's like a one-star, and that affects stuff, you know? So, but my kid's book is up. I'm not, here's the worst part. We're not making any money off of it. Like, I'm not keeping it. For the first year, which is pretty much when you make any money off a book, I'm donating all the money to the organization that we got Eller from, our dog. And so it's just like, I don't know, no good deed goes unpunished, is what they say?
Starting point is 00:31:31 Yeah. So that's the deal. You can get it, though, if you want on Amazon or wherever you get your book. It's called Stanley the Dog, the first day at school. And it's a great kid's book because it tells kids, it's not so important to fit in. You don't have to fit in. Be yourself. Yourself is amazing.
Starting point is 00:31:46 Unless you're me. and be able to understand why you sign the books and then they want to kill you. Sadie in Pittsburgh, let's go, one more. So what do you get when you cross a mad sheep with a mad cow? Two animals in a bad mood. Thanks, love you guys.
Starting point is 00:32:06 Mad sheep. Okay, that's just worse. You could cross the sheep with anything. Yeah, any other animal. In a bad mood. Oh, the cow's the moo. Yeah. There we go. Got it.
Starting point is 00:32:17 Oh, she definitely didn't sell that. No. The delivery was not there. Yeah, she did the move. Yeah, do some work on that. Sadie Coltsbeck. Whoa. Here's Amy's pile of stories.
Starting point is 00:32:27 Parents, if your kids are on Instagram, you need to be checking who they're talking to because there's these people that are selling like cereal bar treats, Rice Krispy Treats, Captain Crunch treats. But they're laced with stuff. And how they found out about this was a kid ate one at school, didn't know he was eating a laced rice Krispy treat. What's the account name? Well, it was top two treats.
Starting point is 00:32:51 And then he got busted and then he changed his account name to top treats four. Okay. A little different. They still found him again. But it's happening to a lot of kids and they feel like they're buying certain things. And then kids are reselling them at school and not saying, hey, by the way, these are laced with stuff. And then kids are getting sick. With what, though?
Starting point is 00:33:10 It also matters with their laced with. Oh, T-HC. Okay. So like weed. Yeah. Basically. Wow. Mm-hmm.
Starting point is 00:33:16 You know, not for me. If I got a lot of friends, I'd like to find up, oh, top treats 63 or whatever. He's four now. Just have this talk with your kids. They don't need to buy snacks from strangers. They shouldn't buy anything off the internet anyway without permission. Exactly. And something else, just speaking of parents in talks, I saw that, like, a quarter of parents do not plan on having the talk with their kids.
Starting point is 00:33:35 I never had that. So that's another talk to have. That's why I thought it came out of the belly button, no, like 12. I never had the talk. Yeah. It was just, I guess you learned at school, so. Which is not the way to live. learn. So go get them champ. I was surprised
Starting point is 00:33:48 it was that low, only a quarter. So in the parents in the room, you plan on, we've had, we're talking. Already done it for my 14-year-old. Yeah, my 3-year-old knows. Yeah. They say, you, there's, listen, listen, there's ways you can start. I don't even got to tell on. Genetically, he just understands.
Starting point is 00:34:05 You can actually start at 3 with certain conversations about body parts and different things, just being honest. So Yellowstone, the prequel, not the 1883 one, but the one that was supposed to be in 1932. Oh, so it's a... So it's a post-prequel.
Starting point is 00:34:24 It's in the middle of both? It's a prequel of the big... It's like the meat of the sandwich. Yeah, there you go. Okay. They're a good way to describe it. The meat. Harrison Ford's in it.
Starting point is 00:34:32 Helen Mirren, supposed to be amazing. They were going to call it 1932, but they just had to change the name to 1923 because they wanted it to be set in the Great Depression and Prohibition, and they realized that, whoopsie, Montana was one of the first states to repeal prohibition, so it wouldn't have fit the timeline.
Starting point is 00:34:48 It feels like CSI now. There's CSI Miami, CSI, Juneau, Alaska. Yes, I'm Maine. Now it's like 1923. You're watching 1925 or you're watching 27. Which series you're watching? It's just a little much, huh? A little much, but I think I'm definitely going to dabble.
Starting point is 00:35:02 Let me check it out and see what it's like. Loretta Lynn and Jake Owens, former mansion is listed for $2.1 million in case lunchbox wants to call and get it maybe. I saw, because they didn't live in it together, and Jake still doesn't live in it. Just let's get all this period. Yeah, yeah, yeah. It wasn't when they were dating or anything. She sold it to him and then he sold it.
Starting point is 00:35:21 I don't even know that she sold it to him for sure. I think they've just both owned it. Oh, I feel like I read that she was the seller. She handed the keys. She put the sign out front and was like, here you go. Maybe so, but I feel like Jake bought that house. I don't know that he bought it right under her. Okay, it says here, Lynn sold the house to Owen in 2012.
Starting point is 00:35:42 And then she currently still lives in a house in the same area. Same one. She's one of the squatter stories. Like, they can't get her out. You got to buy the house with Loretta Linn in the bottom. Jake sold it in 2017 to someone, and that's when he moved out to some land and lived in a tiny house while he was building his other house.
Starting point is 00:35:57 But anyway, it's up for sale, and two famous people live there. It's 2.1 million in case anybody's interested. Okay, trivia time. Loretta Lins' sister is, don't say it, Eddie, if you know you. Maybe don't know it. I'm out.
Starting point is 00:36:08 Loretta's sister is... Oh, got it. Okay. Reba McIntyre. Wow, how did you know that? That's just my country knowledge Wow Really good
Starting point is 00:36:17 Swing and a miss Amy Did they I'm trying to think of if there Loretta Lynn's sister Is it a Lynn I don't know Not a Lynn
Starting point is 00:36:24 Famous but not a Lynn Know who her granddaughter is Not doing that We're going Loretta Lynn's sister Howlkeeper Taylor Lynn Who's her granddaughter Taylor
Starting point is 00:36:33 She was in Stealing Angels With Caroline Hobby Okay yeah I didn't I don't know that is But okay Ray Martina McBride Eddie
Starting point is 00:36:40 Crystal Gale Correct Nice job Oh You got lots of sisters, though. Fascinating. I didn't know that. Crystal Gale, Taylor, the whole group.
Starting point is 00:36:48 All of them. All of them. All right. Is that it, Amy? I am. You are. Yes, he is. Okay. I'm Amy.
Starting point is 00:36:53 That's my pile. That was Amy's pile of stories. It's time for the good news. With Bobby. Tell me something good. Massive fundraising effort by the town, and they absolutely didn't have to do this. But there's this woman named Linda in Minneapolis, and she lived in this house for 20 years. And so she had signed inside of her mortgage agreement.
Starting point is 00:37:17 And listen, I don't know what I signed in those. Honestly. I have no idea. Who does? I just take a pen and sign. I trust other people. Yeah. And so this happened.
Starting point is 00:37:25 And she had signed a deal that was not good for her to be there long term. And the landlord was like, you got to get out of here. So she was renting it when she signed the papers. I guess that's not mortgage. It's a leasing agreement. And so the landlord's like, I got to sell the house. You need to move. $299,000 is what they listed it for.
Starting point is 00:37:41 So the neighbors heard about it. Over 400 people from the community got together, begged the landlord, don't sell it yet. Give us time. They then, because of the fundraising effort, which is a block party, social media fundraiser, an art show with some of the paintings
Starting point is 00:37:55 that she had made, they got enough donations for her to buy the house. Wow. That is a massive amount of money. That's crazy. That's so cool. And then she flipped it and sold it for double and got out of town.
Starting point is 00:38:04 Really? That'd be funny, huh? She got right out of town. All the neighbors would be like, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. No, that's awesome. I can't believe if they made $250. thousand dollars by doing all of that.
Starting point is 00:38:13 Great job to that town. Linda, I hope you feel loved because obviously you are. That is what it's all about. That was tell me something good. Let's go over to Amy and get in the morning corny. The morning corny. What do you call two eggs living together?
Starting point is 00:38:33 What do you call two eggs living together? Co-existent. Oh. It's coexistence. That was the morning corny. In a second, if you're a significant other, even, it's a girlfriend, I'll tell you this, has a celebrity on their lock screen because a listener emailed me this. And he's like, why does she have this on her lock screen?
Starting point is 00:38:58 Is this weird? Should I do something about it? I want to read you the email. You guys can give me your ideas too, what you think about this. But we'll get to that next in the mailbag. And then we'll get to my number three song of the 90s, 90s country coming up in a second as well. All right, both of those. coming up.

It just has to have a great artist.
Starting point is 00:42:35 It has to be a great song. in a music video you can still remember without having to watch it again. At number five, because the skiing was Alan Jackson, Chattahoochee, 1992. Here you go. Yeah, way down the under on the Chattahoochee never knew how much it was. At number four from 1991, boot scooting boogie by Brooks and Dodd. I was about to get to a song from 1993, right? This video, oh man, I can remember, I think, every second of the video.
Starting point is 00:43:04 And when this artist came in, I was like, this is the greatest video. It's my favorite. Maybe my favorite video of the 90s. Really? Maybe not the most instrumental in the number one of my list, but personally made my favorite video. 1993 was the year. Facts about 1993.
Starting point is 00:43:17 Bill Clinton was inaugurated as a 42nd U.S. president. The average price of gas was $1.11. Oh. That's a good old days. How nice was that? The Dallas Cowboys won their third Super Bowl. I'll never forget it. The cost of a 30-second Super Bowl out was $850,000,
Starting point is 00:43:33 which now it's like $6 million or something. Which, oddly, that's how much you got on. the gas is, not true. Popular Halloween costumes in 1993. Barney the Dinosaur. The genie from Aladdin. Princess Jasmine from Aladdin. Fashion trends from 1993 included crop tops, platform shoes, animal prints,
Starting point is 00:43:55 faux fur, velvet, windbreakers, and denim. And most importantly, from 1993, a little baby came out of the womb named Morgan. That's right. Yes, that she is, there she is. Out of the womb, 1993. The song I'm talking about From 1993
Starting point is 00:44:13 At number three on the list The video has been described as Weekend at Bernie's Goes Country The music video starts with a guy And he's kind of out of it And two men are smuggling A fully dressed dead male Into a funeral
Starting point is 00:44:28 Out of a funeral home And they take it out for a night on the town The guy Wearing sunglasses and a party hat Is laid up against this machine That machine is a jukebox I got it You got you there now?
Starting point is 00:44:43 I got it now I got it At number three on my list It's a guy I loved Love being his friend Unfortunately passed away In the last couple of years But it is Joe Diffy
Starting point is 00:44:54 And prop me up beside the jukebox If I die What a great video What a great song What a lovely man And it's at number three Here On my favorite music videos
Starting point is 00:45:04 Of the 90s I don't know If people listen to this show And they go Those people on that Bob-Bove show, they can't be real. Like, they're probably playing a character. It'd just be hard to stay in character every day for 15 years.
Starting point is 00:45:17 I think that'd be a difficult part of this. And so sometimes things happen, and it's sent to me. And I'm like, I'll just play this on the show so people know that what we talk about is real. This wasn't a bit. Scoobo Steve had reached out to me. It's like, hey, this is a clip I want you to have. And you can play it on the show if you want. So apparently, Lunchbox saw a couch on the side of the road and asked Scoob to Steve for his truck to go take the couch home.
Starting point is 00:45:35 Oh, my. Oh, man. So here is. And people like, lunchbox doesn't do this. that. He doesn't drive away down the road and find free stuff and take it home. Okay, whatever you say, here's a voicemail that lunchbox sent Scuba Steve that he sent to me. Play it, please. Yo, scuba, not sure what you're doing, but I'm driving on I-40 towards Memphis, and there is a brand-new love seat on the side of the road. It's still wrapped in the plastic. I think we should
Starting point is 00:46:01 go pick it up. What are you doing? Hit me back. We should go pick it up. You just wanted his truck, or you wanted the love seat? No. What happened? So I was just driving. and I look and on the shoulder, there is a perfectly wrapped brand new love seat. You know the one with two seats and not, it's like a couch, but it only has two seats.
Starting point is 00:46:18 Yeah, we know what a love seat is. And so I was like, someone obviously just dropped that. Like it looked in perfect shape. Like it fell off a car? Yeah. But then why would you think you needed to go steal it if you think someone?
Starting point is 00:46:29 Well, if it's just sitting there, it's for free, you take it. But they might come back. But you just said someone probably accidentally dropped it. Well, I mean, if they can get there before I do. That's the rule? Yeah, it's finder
Starting point is 00:46:41 Finders, keepers, losers, weepers. And I mean, I called Scoob because it was only 10 minutes from the station and he's up here. He has a truck. We could throw that thing in. Boom, have it at my house in 15 minutes. Did you? No, he didn't call me back.
Starting point is 00:46:55 Good. Oh, that's funny. He sent it to me immediately. I guess didn't call you back. But why would you not want a brand new love seat? It ain't yours. It's like falls out of your truck. Sorry.
Starting point is 00:47:06 If it was old and crappy. and they threw it on the side of the road because they just hated it. Well, yeah, I wouldn't want it then. Exactly. I don't want an old crappy one. I mean, this is like, it was like probably from a factory truck, like, you know, a moving truck or whatever, a delivery, because it was wrapped in plastic like you do when you buy it to the store and it comes.
Starting point is 00:47:24 Yeah, we get that. It was like perfect condition. So did you see it this morning coming in? I didn't, no, I rode my bike. Oh. But the other way. I was just, I was taking the kids somewhere to get something to eat. And I saw it and I was like,
Starting point is 00:47:39 Dude. Would you take them by today and if it's still there, scuba? Get it for them? I don't want to be a part of it because what if it is somebody's or it's a store's. Now I'm accomplice for stealing something. If it's there for a whole day, then you can have it. 24 hours. If it's there today, yes, they have to go back and get it 24. Absolutely.
Starting point is 00:47:53 That means they forgot about it. If it's six hours, they can't get a truck, no problem. But 24 hours, absolutely you can go get it. I'm with you, dude. Otherwise, that's littering. That's just littering. That's not couching it. But what do I get out of it?
Starting point is 00:48:04 Me using, he's using my truck. Nothing. How do I win? Just being a friend, I guess. Yeah, being a nice guy hooking me up with a free couch. If you leave it up there any longer, weather's going to destroy it.
Starting point is 00:48:14 Yeah. Sunshine's going to start fading. You're saying now we need to go save the couch? Yeah, now it's hashtag save the couch. If it's there today, I have no problem with you getting it. All right, Scooby, let's go out to the show. How far from here? Ten minutes.
Starting point is 00:48:28 There's no chance it's still there unless they didn't want it. I mean, we could go in commercial breaking me back. You know what? Where's the lie? You know what? That feels like how long our commercial breaks are sometimes. Okay, let us know. Scoop, can I buy your truck?
Starting point is 00:48:40 Just let him go. Him drive my truck? No way. Would you let him drive your truck? No, I would never let drive my truck. Oh my God. I'm a man, dude, I can drive it. Would you let him drive your car?
Starting point is 00:48:50 Yeah, he's a man. Look at him. He's a man. I'm a man, I know how to drive. Tomorrow's show Lady A will be in, and I said, hey, how about you play my three favorite songs of all the time? They were like, what do you mean? I said, I don't know, my three favorite songs, you just come in and play him.
Starting point is 00:49:05 They were like, all right, deal. So they have a little. a new song and I just love them all. And so they're going to come in and play it. And it's going to be really cool and I'm looking forward to Lady A tomorrow. And I normally wouldn't ask someone like Lady A to just come in and play a bunch of music. But the last time they came in, I said, I don't want them to play because it's early in the morning. I'm probably closer to them than other people.
Starting point is 00:49:27 And I was like, I don't want them to come up and feel like they have to sing. Kind of looking out for him a little bit. Yeah, you're considerate of that for sure. And Charles Kelly was like, hey, we're awesome. Are you stupid for not having a sing? And I was like, I was looking out for you guys. He was like, we're coming up. We're offering to sing.
Starting point is 00:49:42 Don't look out for us. It'd be awesome. I was like, all right. So they're going to come in and they're going to perform. And it will be really cool tomorrow. So that's all. Lady A tomorrow. Now, your big stories.
Starting point is 00:49:53 Bobby's big. Stories. The headline is from CBS News that social media isn't all bad. And I would agree with that. Social media is a great part of my life. There's a lot of negativity, but the connections you're making with people is giving you purpose and a desire to make the most out of your life. Research has found,
Starting point is 00:50:11 according to the study being active on social media associated with living a longer life. Researchers found that having this large number of relationships on social leads to better health and longevity because as humans, we need to be in relationships with people. Social media is like anything else in our life. If you can handle it and do it with respect to your mental health, what you know is good for you, what's not, it's awesome. You do too much of it. You get in talk to situations. it ain't awesome That's like too much of anything Absolutely
Starting point is 00:50:40 Too much mountain dew From experience Hey just a little bit Awesome Too much You know you're like Stay a ballback Bobby So good for social media
Starting point is 00:50:50 I like it getting a good rap here I have friends That I consider actual friends That I really only talk with on social media Then occasionally only see in real life I did a couple of shows this past weekend Like a stage
Starting point is 00:51:02 Comedy shows And my friend Anya who works for satellite radio. We may see each other once or twice a year, but we talk a lot through DM and the occasional text. And she was like, man, I haven't seen you in forever. And I'm like, what?
Starting point is 00:51:16 Yeah. And I realized in human form, I haven't seen her in forever, but it doesn't feel like that. I feel like I see her every day, every couple of days because of social media. Yeah. So if I got to be the guy to wear that cape
Starting point is 00:51:27 and be like, I'm going to be social media superhero, I will be it. I love it. I can't get enough of it. Here we go from Sky News, a trainee police officer drew red lines on a COVID test to be like, yeah, I'm sorry, I'm positive. He drew the second line on there. A trainee police officer tried to fake having COVID-19 by drawing the red lines on the test.
Starting point is 00:51:50 This to me reminds me of like as a kid, let's say you had an F, they tried turn it to an A. And it just looks a little off because like the A doesn't have that top square. So that's what the test kind of looked like. It didn't look exactly the same. And so they tried to get away with it. When confronted, yeah, I fake the test. I did it so I could stay home. I have a friend who works in the administration area.
Starting point is 00:52:13 I'm trying to make trouble. School administration. School administration. The front office. He said that when COVID was really happening, but classes were back in, teachers all the time were like, oh, might have it. I need to isolate. There's nothing you could say about it. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:52:31 You just had to be like, okay. And there was just no teachers. teachers because of that. So I just thought about that F to A on the top of the paper. I mean, that cop basically did. But you never had to do that. No, too many A's. Maybe I tried to like turn it into a C to limit expectations. The final four in college baseball. The 2022 men's college world series continues tonight in Omaha, Texas A&M and Arkansas, both won last night. So here's the final four. Oklahoma, Ole Miss, Arkansas, and Texas A&M.
Starting point is 00:53:02 That's why you brought it up. So we're looking for, yeah, of course. We're looking for Arkansas to win tonight and then take it to a rubber match. Well, we're looking for Texas A&M to win. No, we're not. You don't really care about Texas A&M. Yes, I do. But she did go there, though.
Starting point is 00:53:12 I was there. But you literally didn't even know they were in the final four. Don't really pay attention to baseball. There you go. Baseball. That's because it's baseball. Give me something I care about. Yeah, what's the name of the head coach, Texas A&M, football?
Starting point is 00:53:24 Head coach. Oh, oh, coach? She just calls them coach. Yeah, yo. Okay. Like, I know coaches's names. Okay, go ahead. Who's that?
Starting point is 00:53:33 Who's the head coach of Texas? And that's only because of Walker Hayes. Who's the head coach of Texas A&M? Marty. Marty Stewart, Marty Fish. Marty McFly. Wilkerson. Marty Wilkerson.
Starting point is 00:53:47 Is he good? Jimbo Fisher? Jimbo Fisher. I knew that. I've heard of him. Rob Koukowski, Gronk, says he's retiring. Again? Again.
Starting point is 00:53:57 That's right. He's once again hanging up the cleats. He says this time, for real, the Tampa Bay Star announced yesterday. that he is done. He feels good about it. He was with Brady for nine years in New England. I mean, good for Grant. Killed it.
Starting point is 00:54:12 Awesome. He'll have a large, you know, big career in whatever he wants. He's funny. He's goofy. He's the rare football player that's not a quarterback that you know just by seeing their face. Because it's hard football players wear helmets. That's the bad part about being a football player.
Starting point is 00:54:27 If you're not the elite, it's hard to know what you look like because you're not all over commercials. We're basketball players. you know, because they play with their face wide open. Which circling back to social media, me, as a non-football fan, I guess I mostly see Gronk on social media. And Gronk did announce he'll be the head coach at Texas A&M next year. Oh, okay.
Starting point is 00:54:44 So I start telling your friends that. Yeah, right. Chris Stapleton has postponed a string of shows following a positive COVID-19 diagnosis. Although I saw the test that's able to post it online, it looked like that second line was drawn in. True, it is. He's just tired of doing shows. Oh, no.
Starting point is 00:54:58 That's not true, but he is positive. He will push back Salt Lake City. and Denver, he says he wants to thank everybody who has waited so long for these shows. They're incredibly grateful for patience, love, and support, and cannot wait to see you next week. I hope and Chris is okay. That is from Billboard, and I just like to say
Starting point is 00:55:14 Chris Tableton is awesome, and I hope he gets healthy and is able to do shows. Amber Hurd has one of the world's most beautiful faces according to science. Amber Hurd, Amy, why do people know her right now? Well, she was on trial with Johnny Depp. And so she lost. She did.
Starting point is 00:55:30 So, you know what, that's accurate. looking at some old pictures of her because it was like TMZ was like Amber Hurd from all the years or something like that and I didn't know much about her and I was like let me click it really pretty still really pretty but I didn't know her young she was with a lot of famous guys too like good looking guys James what's the guy's name? Branco yeah there's a little physical treat as well I'm just saying that so saw those two together you're like physical holy cow so scientifically her face is extremely symmetrical.
Starting point is 00:56:07 It's from the New York Post. I saw a picture of her shopping in T.J. Max. And they were kind of shaming her for it. Wanted and liked that. It didn't make me feel good. They were shaming her for it. They were like Amber Hurd seen in T.J. Max after she loses million dollars. I was like, what if she had DJ Max? T.J. Max saw it's awesome stuff.
Starting point is 00:56:22 Yeah. Rude. And then let her shop in public. And then another one was she's doing a tell-all book. And I'm like, yeah, because she has to pay millions of bucks and shop in T. J. Max. I've Then there's that
Starting point is 00:56:34 Turning off your notifications May result in you checking your phone more Because if you don't turn them on You're wondering if people messaged you Now I will say this from personal experience I turned off all my notifications There's not No vibrate, no loud ring, nothing
Starting point is 00:56:47 What it has done for me I don't get ghost vibrations anymore Meaning my phone on my pocket I don't go oh I wonder if my phone just went off I think I felt it Because I know That there is no vibration And I also don't check it more
Starting point is 00:57:00 Sometimes I'll look down at my phone and there are like 19 text messages. And I'm like, oh crap. Never would that happen before because I was so on. I was just listening for it. So I like the new me. That's good. Here I am. Now I hate social media.
Starting point is 00:57:14 Look at you. In the middle of the segment, I've completely changed. No, it's been great for me. But they say most people, especially early on, when you turn your notifications off, you check it more because you're wondering if you missed anything, like fear of missing out. I don't really get any important text or emails Like so I don't get any that I need to check right then This is what I've learned from this
Starting point is 00:57:36 I used to go I need to be on my phone all the time In case I miss something Now I miss stuff all the time Right And it never matters If I'm an hour behind it doesn't matter The only thing ever that's like It'd be something from work like Scuba or Mike asking me a question
Starting point is 00:57:50 Like do you want to do this tomorrow You want to do it later today And other than that I don't get any life or death Which also tells me why I don't need to text and drive. And I don't... Nothing's that important. Nothing is that important.
Starting point is 00:58:02 And I've learned that by turning my notifications off. Now, if my water could break it any minute, you know, and I was sitting here with... And have a baby? Yeah, like I would need that... Something like that. So, but there you go. Turn your notifications off.
Starting point is 00:58:15 More than half Americans think that summer is best spent indoors. Completely agree. Not just summer all life. In the AC? Just Wi-Fi. Give me strong Wi-Fi and a good AC. Live in life. That's it. That is not a country song, but I like it.
Starting point is 00:58:31 A new study finds that 53% of people say summer is best spin indoors. The average person said five hours a day outside and summer is way more than enough. I love summer because I love that I can go do stuff outside. I like the option. I hate being outside for the most part. But yesterday, I'll work out outside a little bit. Other than that, I'm good. I don't need to go walk around the woods or anything.
Starting point is 00:58:52 Like you worked outside or you worked out outside? Oh, okay. I work out outside every day just about. Yeah. Yeah. Why didn't, I was curious if I heard worked. Like yard work? Like yard work?
Starting point is 00:59:02 I was like, what were you doing? No, no. I knew what you were talking about. Unless I'm like chasing these foxes that live at the house now, they ain't having it. I have to pick my battles now and what work I'm going to do and what work I'm going to get somebody to do. My schedule is pretty packed. For sure. I now, if when it comes to mowing, ain't doing it.
Starting point is 00:59:23 Yards. You're like Aldeen. Yard's too big at this point. It's a nice luxury to have. but it ain't for me anymore. So that's a situation. Most people think summer's best spent indoors. Okay, those are your big stories.

Starting point is 01:03:04 Today could be my last show ever. Ask me why. Why? Sound concern, though. Oh, what? Why? Thanks for asking. I have surgery today.
Starting point is 01:03:15 And don't be confused with going to the dentist because my dentist sent me to a surgeon. I broke a bone in my gums and it split. and so that bone is sharp and it's jabbing out of the side of my gums and it's been like this for a couple weeks maybe a few weeks now and every day it hurts I've been putting a lot of ambassol on it trying to numb it every single day
Starting point is 01:03:39 I told you guys a couple weeks ago if you ever hear me be like that's just my mouth hurts but I go today and they cut my gums open they go in they shave the bone down yeah it stinks and the success rate of life.
Starting point is 01:03:59 Is? Not high. Oh, no. Yeah. It's the bone. It's the bone that is the central key to all human life. It's broken. It's more important than that artery one.
Starting point is 01:04:07 I don't know which one the artery is. Well, a lot of the arteries are all important. Oh. But yes, there's probably a couple real big arteries you're talking about. Yeah. Yeah, or someone where you bleed out or something about. On your leg. I thought it's on your neck.
Starting point is 01:04:19 Well, there's a couple. That's my point. So, but anyway, I'll be fine. I think. I should be here tomorrow. everything should be rocking. They said I will be in pain for a couple of days.
Starting point is 01:04:29 But I was like, hey. What can we do for you? Oh, man. Vigual? Outside the, either the radio station or the doctor's office, candles. Like a pre-word? We can do that.
Starting point is 01:04:38 No, while I'm in. While I'm in. Oh, for prayer time. Yeah, I mean, you can pray, you can sing, celebrate me. What song would you like us to sing at the vigil? Ain't no sunshine when he's gone. Switch up She's to He's.
Starting point is 01:04:49 Ain't no sunshine when he's gone. Yeah, really let us have it. I want to hear it while I'm under. Okay. And so I have that today. That should pull you through. I hope. I'm going to have them to keep the doors open while surgery's happening so I can hear that.
Starting point is 01:05:04 But I'm going to go in and do some surgery today, which I honestly am very anxious about, because who likes surgery and who likes to have to go under to have it done. I'm sure there's somebody, but. You know what? You're right. Probably somebody who really looks forward to it. I don't. I'm a little nervous.
Starting point is 01:05:17 I will be fine. And I'll be back tomorrow probably and all will be good. But in case I'm not, in case this is my last show, just let me say, I'm just so appreciative, to everybody who's allowed me to have a career in life that I've always dreamed of. The young kid growing up at Mountain Pine, Arkansas, didn't see anybody get to achieve their dreams. I got to.
Starting point is 01:05:33 And if I die today is awesome, thank you. That's all. Okay, we'll save our words for you. If I die. Individual. Hey, prop me up in here. For a week, let people come out, take a picture with me. Do we charge?
Starting point is 01:05:47 No. Yes. Oh, come on. Maybe you donate the money to, like, St. Jude. Yeah, we'll donate it. Yes. So, and then hopefully I'm okay enough to watch Arkansas on the call. World Series tonight, play Ole Miss.
Starting point is 01:05:57 We got to beat them twice. They got to beat us once. If that's a reason to live. That's what'll pull me through. I'll get you there. So that's my What's the Haps. Hey. Hey, what's the Hats?
Starting point is 01:06:07 Amy, what's up? I'm just sitting here thinking about how I am definitely too old for the bars. I went to a bar for a first time in a really long time. And I feel like we were staying there late. 10, 45, 11. And this place was dead. It was empty. And it made me feel sad for the owners because it's, you know,
Starting point is 01:06:24 I saw the owner there working behind the bar and I was talking my friends about it. I was like, oh, this is a bummer. This place used to be kind of bump in. And they said, oh, it just hasn't kicked in yet. Like, we're just not here. Once it gets late, everyone will start coming in. And sure enough, when we leave about 11, I see like droves of people starting to make their way to the bar. And, yeah, no need to feel sorry for them.
Starting point is 01:06:46 We're good, but it just kicks in right around 11 to midnight. It kicks in when you kick out. Yes. When I kick out, it kicks in. And it just is this other reminder of like I've hit the wall of I could care less to stay there for it to kick in. Yeah, time march is on. Yeah. If I'm up past 10 for any, for no reason, I'm like, what, why am I doing this?
Starting point is 01:07:05 If I'm up for a reason, a show or something, I'm like, I get it. But if I'm up for no reason, I'm like, what's the point? I mean, being awake right now. Yeah. I need to go to sleep. Let's do what's the haps for lunchbox. Hey! Hey!
Starting point is 01:07:16 What's the hats? Man, the world hates me. What? Absolutely hates me. Out to get me trying to kill me. me. We had a storm roll in the other day and wind starts blowing all sudden, boom!
Starting point is 01:07:29 A big old tree branch landed on the roof. Not one hole. Did you hear it? No, no, I wasn't even home. My wife and she calls me, she's like, hey, I need you to come home. I think a tree branch fell on the roof. And I'm like, oh my gosh, dramatic. Is that how she
Starting point is 01:07:45 talks? No, no, she was crying. Hysterical. And I was like, dramatic much so I'm all head home. I start driving home. She's like, it came through the ceiling, I need you to hurry up and get there. I'm like, okay, now that we're talking serious. And I get there. Oh my God, I'm looking at a picture of your whole roofs caved in.
Starting point is 01:08:00 Yeah, there's a hole in the ceiling in the kids' room. You can see outside. Yeah, you can see. We have a new skylight. And then in the dining room, there's another hole. And above the stove in the kitchen, there's a hole. We have three holes in our ceiling. I thought you were going to have like small holes that created leaks.
Starting point is 01:08:20 You can stand in lunchboxes house and look up and see the sky. Not because of a skylight, but because the tree holes. Yes. So what happened? What do you do now? A tree branch fell off a tree and boom. And my wife, it shook the whole house, she said. And so we called insurance and the restoration company comes out where they're supposed to put some fans in to dry the floor.
Starting point is 01:08:42 And they were like, oh, yeah, we'll just remove the tree branch. And they get up there and like, we're going to have to call a tree company to remove this. So a tree company comes with tractors and they cut it all up. and now I have tarps on my roof. So I was going to ask, is it like super hot now? Can you not keep the house cool? Exactly. Really?
Starting point is 01:08:57 Yep. These are big holes. I mean, it is massive. When do they think it'll be done? Well, the insurance adjuster comes tomorrow to give me an estimate, then I got to find a contractor to do the work. So, I mean, at least a month, I bet. That stinks.
Starting point is 01:09:13 I mean, massive holes. We have insulation hanging down. I mean, it's just a disaster at my house. We'll post some of these pictures. Is that cool with you? Yeah. It's much bigger than I thought. So you go over to the Facebook page, Bobby Bone Show, and check them out.
Starting point is 01:09:25 All right, that's What's the Haps. Hey! Hey! What's the Hats? Let's go over and talk to Liberty in South Carolina, who has called the show. We appreciate you taking time to call us Liberty. What's going on? I'm just working.
Starting point is 01:09:40 I listen to the radio. I listen to y'all every morning. You're wonderful. Thank you very much. What would you like to say? I just wanted to give my input on the 90s video of the century or whatever you're doing. I love Billy Ray Cyrus. breaky hard, it just gets me moving
Starting point is 01:09:55 every time I hear it, and I love the video. Yeah, when you say get you moving, what do you mean about that, Billy Ray Sidewrest? Because, listen, he's got some tight pants on, he's looking pretty fit, get you moving like this. Go ahead. Just gives me dancing. All right, yeah.
Starting point is 01:10:09 Act goes to silly. Yeah, yeah, yeah. That was a jam. I love it. That song still comes on. It was a jam. It's a jam in the 90s, Bobby. You know it.
Starting point is 01:10:17 What do you mean? It's still the jam. Yeah, yeah. Like, we play it sometimes Liberty in the dance party, and I'm like, Dang, that's good. That's a jam. Yeah, I agree. I mean, he's hot to Molly back in the day, man. Billy Ray Cyrus.
Starting point is 01:10:31 I'm watching the video right now. I mean, the mullet, it was so... Okay, Morgan Wallen has a mullet, right? Kind of brought it back. But Billy Rays was like tighter on top. Kind of a little more slick back and a little longer. Yeah. Like, it was the real mullet.
Starting point is 01:10:49 Morgan Wallens is the 20-22 mullet. Yeah, more. It's derivative of Billy Rays. Like Billy Rays was awesome. Liberty, I appreciate that. Thank you very much. The next two days, I have my number two and number one music video of the 90s. So thank you for listening and thank you for calling.
Starting point is 01:11:04 Have a great day. Yeah, you too. See you later. Let's go over and talk to Shavonda in Virginia, who's calling the show. Hey, Shavanda, what's going on? Hi, Moby. Hi, studio. What's happening?
Starting point is 01:11:16 Yes, I had a question for lunchbox. Okay. Since the tree fell down on his house, why didn't he act like he got her? since he likes money so much. You could have been like, oh, a tree hit me in the neck. Well, I mean, you can obviously see when you get there that the tree didn't come all the way, like it didn't come down to the ground.
Starting point is 01:11:33 It was still hanging from the roof. I would have to jump up to hit the tree with my head. Or a piece of it actually came through. I mean, it came through, but it was still... I don't even encouraging you to do this. No, not at all. Like, just in my mind, I could go, well, you could go emotional damage, but then I'm like, why am I playing this game with him? And I'm like, well, you can come through the hole.
Starting point is 01:11:48 Wait, wait, wait, you can do emotional damage? Stop, nope. Because my wife does have storming, anxiety because of the tornado and now we had a tree fall in the house. I mean, she was hysterical shaking. I'm sitting. That's what I'm asking. Judge, we'd like to bring this case.
Starting point is 01:12:01 Lunchbox versus God and Mother Nature. But yes, I love money, but there was no way to fake that I got hurt. I mean, the tree wasn't laying on my kitchen floor. He was just sticking through the ceiling. That's a good thought, though, Chavonda, because he's not above that. No. But I do like that idea. He'll think about it next.
Starting point is 01:12:15 It scared you with a bang and you fell down and stepped because it scared you so much. Oh. Wow. Yeah, I don't know if that worked. You fell. Yeah. Well, I appreciate it. We won't think about this anymore.
Starting point is 01:12:26 We'll kill this bit. But thank you, Chavonda. I hope you have an awesome day. You too, Bobby. All right, see you later. Let's go to Nathan in Fayetteville, Arkansas, who's on the phone. Nathan, we appreciate your calling. What's going on, buddy?
Starting point is 01:12:36 Hello. Good morning. Hey, first time caller here. Hey, I just wanted to, I'm a down-home Arkansas boy like yourself, Mr. Bones. And I wanted to give me some words of encouragement, because I know you're kind of worried about your two. We just want to let you know that, you know, you have too many faithful friends and family out here thinking about you and getting us through our mundane mornings. Well, it's very nice of you. This is what I would compare it to. A world-class, all-star pitcher who's having elbow surgery, right, on his throwing arm.
Starting point is 01:13:19 They're going into my mouth with a huge blade, not my teeth. Let's not get it twisted. It's not a dentist. This is bone surgery in my mouth that I basically got to shave a bone. So if Rob Grinkowski, Amy, who retired, but if he came and was like, oh man, I got to have surgery on my hands, he catches balls for a living. That would be bad. You'd be like, oh, no. You talk for a living.
Starting point is 01:13:43 Your livelihood. Yeah. I didn't think about that. My livelihood's getting worked on today. What if I'm one of these people when I come in tomorrow and have a British accent? Like I go under and all of a sudden I come out and I'm like, jolly out. More people would probably listen. Anyway, I'm nervous. That's the situation, Nathan.
Starting point is 01:13:56 I appreciate that love and appreciate the kindness of the call. And I hope you have an awesome day, man. Thanks, guys. All right, buddy. See you later. I do want to mention this. She got on OnlyFans, and now she texts people. They call her the queen of sexting, and she makes about a million bucks a year.
Starting point is 01:14:16 She made about $2 million total. Wow. Isn't that wild? So she's built her empire by creating a business strategy, and her sessions last, and then so are her text messages. And so she, what does she text? What do you think she texts her, but? I don't know.
Starting point is 01:14:31 I don't know what she has to text. $2 million by texting to people on OnlyFans. Because what this is, it's a site where you go and you subscribe to people and then they provide you individual content. Yeah. So it's like messages within the OnlyFans. It's not like texting. It can be both.
Starting point is 01:14:45 Oh. You can have no. So it's like what's your number? Yeah, they probably don't have her number, but she probably does it from her own, like an OnlyFone. It's like, text me. It's like, text me this number. Right. So he has a thing he can log into and then text everybody out from that number.
Starting point is 01:14:58 Gotcha. Abby, by the way, is wanting to get on OnlyFans. Abby's our phone screener. Abby, she made $2 million. Yep. That's what I see. That's what I hear. But what are the links you're willing to go to?
Starting point is 01:15:11 Because you've been like, I want to get on OnlyFans. And I've encouraged you not to do it. But what are the links that you would go to on this? I wouldn't want to do what she's doing. I just wanted to sing. But people aren't going to pay for that or you'd have a record deal and they'd buy your music. Well, I would have to be like in a bikini. Okay, so that's the link you would go to.
Starting point is 01:15:27 I mean, yes. You would sing in a bikini if people subscribe. I don't encourage you to do that. I do not as well. Pekini is not enough. I'm sorry, but OnlyFans, you're going to need to do better than that. I thought OnlyFans has graduated a little more. They tried for a minute and they went back.
Starting point is 01:15:44 Yeah, they realized our business model is not going to work. Oh, really? It is what it is. It slid backwards? No, well, it started. It progressed to maybe we're not just going to do dirty. Right. And then it went back to where it was normally.
Starting point is 01:15:55 Gotcha. Because they just weren't making as much money. But people would make requests. So you're telling me if somebody subscribed, let's say they pay $3. 10 bucks a month. Okay? 10 bucks a month to you. That's it. Well, you, what do you add that up? It's all the people.
Starting point is 01:16:10 It's guaranteed. It's guaranteed. And at first, yeah, that's it. There's five people or 10 bucks a month. You'll send them every three days a picture of you singing a song in a bikini. That feels so weird. Yes, it does. But in Abby, you have to get different bikinis. You can't wear the same bikini because it's like, oh, I've already seen that one.
Starting point is 01:16:29 Okay. Yeah, I would do that. Okay. Okay, here's the thing, though. Go ahead. At the end of the day, like, I do things, and the back of my head, I'm like, would my parents be proud of me if I did this? No.
Starting point is 01:16:40 And they would not. They still love you, but they wouldn't be proud of this. Yeah, they would not at all? But ultimately, what matters is would you be proud of you? No. Or would you just not caring to be like anything to make it and make money? It's so tempting. You've become quite, you're not going to make two million.
Starting point is 01:16:55 You're not going to do whatever she's doing. She's not, like, texting food pictures. You're so hungry to be a singer and to have money. Both separately. Yes. It's weird because you've only turned into this in the past five or six months. Uh-huh. So I've said before, if you want, you're just die hard to do this.
Starting point is 01:17:16 You can build up an Instagram following, doing the same thing, and it won't feel near as trashy, and you won't have people subscribing to you, but you can do reels like Eddie does. Yeah. And have people watch them and make money that way. Right. But haven't we learned Eddie makes... He doesn't. He won't talk about any Japanese. Yeah, you don't make that.
Starting point is 01:17:30 I don't think he makes that much. Where are you on this? I mean, what if I did it like disguised? I have a mask on, no one even knows it's me. The mask. I want to subscribe to you if you weren't a mask. A mask singer. I don't know.
Starting point is 01:17:44 Yeah, I'm not going to do it. I won't do it. I was with Abby and her mom on Saturday night. And it was after my show, my stage show. And I said, Abby, come up here. Come up on stage and go back backstage with us. Duh. And Abby got on stage, started walking back with his left her mom.
Starting point is 01:17:58 And I went back and said, Abby, that's your mom. Bring her with us. And Abby's mom was like, hi. Here we're going to leave your mom. Abby is a miniature. Her mom. They're the same person. Did she have fun?
Starting point is 01:18:09 Oh, she loved it. We're going to do, as of yesterday, we decided we're going to do two more shows coming up not in the next couple weeks, probably a month or so. Abby, what would you tell our listeners about my comedically inspirational show? Oh my gosh. It was the best. And I even cried for part of it because it was just very, like, uplifting and inspirational and really motivational.
Starting point is 01:18:27 And was it funny? How far you came. Yeah, it was really funny. Thank you. Yes. It was very funny. I need to fill that. I just, yeah.
Starting point is 01:18:33 All right. Follow Abby on Instagram. Can I get a break? What's your name? Abby. You got to change that. That's so dumb. I don't even remember it.
Starting point is 01:18:41 You just said I don't remember it. It's just my name, Abby Anderson. No, it's Abby Anderson. One underscore. Just do Abby Anderson only fans. Okay. Out of here. This story of the day.
Starting point is 01:18:52 This story comes over from Sack City, Iowa. You know, the water tower's there, and the guy sees it. He's like, man, you know what? I should write a message on the water tower. So he went up and he spray-painted. Eric and Heather come together forever. Only problem is he misspelled together and he vandalized the water tower so he's arrested.
Starting point is 01:19:10 Yeah. It kind of reminds me, though, a bit of... Billy Bob loves Charlene. John Deere Green. On a hot summer night, he wrote... Billy Bob loves Charlene together. Lunchbox, you go. Eh, don't know the song. I don't know that song.
Starting point is 01:19:27 Rest in peace. All right, go ahead. I'm lunchbox. That's your bonehead story of the day. Not to be a downer, but this might be the last time you guys see me. I'm after surgery today, and I might die. Oh, no. I don't be a downer.
Starting point is 01:19:39 No, you are, though. Yeah, it's a pretty down thing, huh? I have surgery at noon, and I asked the doctor, what are my odds making it? And he said, 8%? Oh, wow. One of those surgeries. That's serious, huh? He's like, I really want to give you the truth.
Starting point is 01:19:52 I said, give it to me straight, Doc. I only want it straight. And he said, most people don't come out of this alive. Dang. So. Oh, good luck, man. Thank you. Isn't it just like a local?
Starting point is 01:20:01 Not just like. Not just like. We don't do that. We don't, let's not downplay. I'm not minimizing, but are you going under? It's an 8% chance, Amy. Well, this is what happened. So anyway, this is what I broke a bone in my gums.
Starting point is 01:20:13 Yeah. It's the gum. It's the bone that gives all life, though, to humans, I've heard. Oh, wow. Oh, I didn't realize that part. Yeah. So I broke a bone in my gums and it's split and now it's cutting out of my gums. And so I can feel, it's like a shelf on the side of my top right gum.
Starting point is 01:20:28 It sucks a little bit. I'm doing so you can tell I'm feeling it right now It sucks, it's hurt for like a month And so it's not a dentist I'm going to a surgeon because it's not a tooth They have to go in and like saw the bone Down Wow
Starting point is 01:20:39 I know Yeah and most sawings end in death So anyway we I said what's the deal here And he said well you're going to go in We can give you the IV and put you down Hard But if you do that you can't eat
Starting point is 01:20:54 From midnight until the surgery Which is at noon today And I had to do this show today. And I was like, I can't let my listeners down. I need to eat. I need to have nutrition. I need to put on a heck of a show. I said, and if that's me feeling more pain, God dang it, let's go. So you're going no pain meds? No, I'm still going to do like gas. But they encourage me to go down, not local, but now I'm going to do local for the people. And all I'm asking your return is for you to buy my kids' books. Stanley the Dog, the first day at school, is repayment. Go to
Starting point is 01:21:26 Amazon, 15 bucks. So I don't know. I may be here tomorrow. I may be here tomorrow. I'm may not, it depends if I'm dead or not. But if I am here, Lady A will be here too. I'll be here tomorrow. Lady A's in studio, they're going to play, it's going to be awesome. Today won't be awesome for me and probably tomorrow
Starting point is 01:21:43 won't be either sore wise, but I'll be all right. Don't worry about me, guys. Don't be sent it. I don't need a mill train. Don't worry about a mill train. Oh, okay. Forget it, Amy. Oh, gosh. Yeah, we're going to send it up. Yeah, forget the mill train. Yeah, everyone's filling out their date to deliver food. I had Ruth Chris on there. Oh, come on.
Starting point is 01:21:57 We'll change it. And when are you going to send me A1, a new bottle of That is interesting about people buying your final piece of work with the children's book. It's like owning the last thing you put out. I would get it before I even die and prove on the receipt you had it before I died. Yeah. That's cool. If you bought it
Starting point is 01:22:11 before I died, it's worth more. So that's all I'm going to say. I'm going to leave it there. Said what said. We'll see what's up. It's so hard. Do you say goodbye. All right. We're done. See you guys tomorrow. Possibly. All right. Bye, everybody.
