Starting point is 00:02:41 Hey, welcome to Wednesday's show. Morning, studio. Morning. People when they text, when they write L-O-L, now it really doesn't mean laugh out loud. Mostly it's just like I find that mildly humorous. That's what the story is. For me, I have different levels. If I go small LOL, I found that amusing, but I didn't actually laugh out loud,
Starting point is 00:03:16 LOL. Like, that's funny, but you didn't get an audible. It's lowercase H-A-H-A. Pretty funny. I'll probably tell somebody about this. Is that before L-O-L or after? They're about the same. It depends on how it hits. Yeah, but they're in that lowercase, if it's lowercase, same category. Okay. Uppercase, L-O-L, you probably got a little like, like one of those. You laughed out loud. Like, not a full guffaw, but like this.
Starting point is 00:03:45 Like if you were like, hey, Bobby, that joke, joke, joke. I'll be like, that's L-O-L uppercase. Now, if I go uppercase, H-A, H-A, H-A, H-A, H-A, H-A, H-A, H-A, H-A, H-A, I laughed out loud. You're rolling on the floor. No. I don't, I've never got on the floor. I don't think anyone has. Why does that even exist?
Starting point is 00:04:05 But H-A-H-A-H-A-H-A-A-all-Caps is when I'm laughing out. I'm like, ha! And then I'm screenshot and it's sending it to somebody. Wow. I didn't know there's just such a breakdown. Yeah, there's definitely levels. Like, if I'm like, L-O-L, if I do L-O-L-L-Z, loles, that's me making fun to somebody. You know, you can tap a text and you get a heart or a thumbs up.
Starting point is 00:04:29 Oh, that's a good thing too. Yeah, go. Like, what's the tap, ha-ha. That's courtesy, right? Great. No. I never tap ha-ha-ha. unless I think it's mildly funny.
Starting point is 00:04:37 I will tap ha-ha if it's slightly more funny than lowercase H-A-H-A. Oh, wow. I will tap the ha-ha. It's not full. Gaffa. Right. But it's in the middle of the two.
Starting point is 00:04:50 Now, I rarely tap the heart unless it makes my heart feel warm. I don't tap, because that's thumbs up. Thumbs-ups alike. Thumbs-ups like I read it, understand it. Oh. Cool.
Starting point is 00:05:00 The heart is, man, that is really nice or that is really great that makes me feel warm in my heart. Ha ha is a little funnier than lowercase HAAHA-a-ha-thoms down. Ah, that sucks. I hate to hear that. Or I don't want to do that.
Starting point is 00:05:17 And then the exclamation point is when I'm trying to remind somebody to go read that text. Like I sent this, you ever responded yet? Oh, right, right, right. Yeah, exclamation point. That's my whole, like, pyramid of... Isn't the exclamation point supposed to be like a... Exactly. That's what I was saying.
Starting point is 00:05:33 Well, it can be to you. I use it as like, oh, cool, like exciting. That's, I love that. And that's probably what it is. But if I'm hitting it, I don't get that excited about anything. If I'm hitting it, it's because I need to go look at this text message I sent and you've ignored. The cool thing now the phones have is you can now reply to a text from five or six up and it reprints it down at the bottom. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:05:52 And shows what exactly they're replying to, which is pretty cool. That's helpful. But the whole story was, LOL doesn't mean laughing out loud anymore. Unless, oh, sometimes. And you guys have never seen this for me. It's only existed a couple times ever. Brace yourself. Uppercase.
Starting point is 00:06:10 Capital letters. L-O-L-O-L-O-L-O-L-O-L-O-O-O-L-O-O. Oh, wow, that's really funny. Oh, that's the high as you can be. I want to go look back on my test. Capital, la, la, la, la, la. I just checked my phone and I got a tap ha-ha for me the other day. What did you say?
Starting point is 00:06:24 Okay. Okay, I don't want to say. Oh. I mean, we could, I guess. One of those dirty jokes in me? No. Read it, Amy. She does the dirty corny.
Starting point is 00:06:34 No, it was about... Just tell me what it was about. It was about. It was about betting. Yeah. And Pim and Joy. It was a joke that wouldn't... I think it's funny and I think we can share that.
Starting point is 00:06:43 It was a joke. Okay, but it's also gone up since then. This was the way the other day. We'd like to... This is a great pivot. First of we want to thank our listeners. For Amy's birthday, she said, if you guys don't mind and you buy Pimp and Joy stuff,
Starting point is 00:06:56 we're going to donate that money to the orphanage where our kids came from. And by the way, we have raised how much for the orphanage? Over $50,000. $50,000. Wow. Which is amazing. Because the goal, I didn't ever say the goal on air, but I was turning, I turned 41. And when I did the math on all the different needs, it was going to be about 40,000.
Starting point is 00:07:14 So that was the goal in my head. And now we've exceeded that through, yeah, Pimp and Joy and donations. And it's just really cool. So what Amy said was, imagine if you put this on draft kings and we doubled it real quick. And I thought that was funny. I said, yes, I said, she was kidding, but we don't have access to that money. No, no, no. No.
Starting point is 00:07:31 All the listeners are like, ooh. It was a joke. See, all the guys are laughing too. That's funny, right? That's a big LOL right there. Oh, I got the top. I've been hitting on Draft King. She goes, why don't you just bet this on the game?
Starting point is 00:07:43 And we'd double it up for the orphanage. That's so funny. Right. And from her, it's really funny. Oh. Because you don't normally bet. You don't talk about betting. Oh, okay, okay.
Starting point is 00:07:52 Yeah. Yeah. Well, we were on a roll and I just said, OMG, could you imagine if we doubled down on this Pimp and Joy money? That's funny. That's funny. And I did ha.
Starting point is 00:08:02 Yeah, but then we were. You know, you have to... Amy, it's a joke. We understand. You don't have to... I know you wouldn't ever do that. I don't have listeners to know that we're very responsible with the donations. And it'll all go to the orphanage and we'll send picks.
Starting point is 00:08:13 But can you imagine? I know, I know. Hey, it's Bobby Bones. The General Insurance is a quality insurance company that's been saving people money for nearly 60 years. To get quality insurance for less, make the right call and go with the general. Call 800 general or visit the general.com. The General Auto Insurance Services, Inc. an insurance agency, Nashville, Tennessee, some restrictors apply.
Starting point is 00:08:34 Let's go over and open up the mailbag. You send an email and we read it on the air. It's something we call Bobby's mailbag, yeah. Hello, Bobby Bones. Earlier this week, I was out walking my dog around town. I decided to take a shorter route home than my normal route. My dog, who's about 15 pounds total, was walking in front of me, when I noticed another dog under a deck.
Starting point is 00:08:59 I picked up my dog just to be safe. The dog ran across the yard and started biting me. When I noticed the dog and it was going to bite me, I yelled, and two people standing on the deck started running and yelling for the dog. The dog finally stopped biting me and ran the opposite way. The people never stopped to check on me. I ended up going to the hospital to get some stitches, shots, and antibiotics. I reported it to the sheriffs in the city. The sheriff didn't write the same.
Starting point is 00:09:31 them a ticket or take the dog at this point. I do have the couple's name, address, and phone number. Should I reach out and ask them to pay for my medical bills? How would you guys deal with the situation? Thanks for your help. H. Yeah, that's serious. I mean, I think it matters where you were.
Starting point is 00:09:48 Well, I don't know. You can walk someone's house and a dog can bite you. That's still trouble. Yeah, I would raise it. I don't think you're going to get anything from them because they ran. They didn't care. I think that's the issue here is I don't think you're going to get. No, that's the bummer.
Starting point is 00:10:01 I don't think you're going to get anything. I think you've done all that you can do, but I still might go one more next, slightly next level, and go, hey, guys, this happened to me? Would you guys mind paying or helping with my medical bills? Because I don't think they care or it's not that they care. They know what's going to happen if they do care. They're going to be out money or something could happen to their dog.
Starting point is 00:10:25 So I think they're going to avoid it at all costs. but yes, I think you should reach out and say this happened to me. Can you help? Yeah, give them that opportunity. But yeah, I feel like they would have done it right away. I mean, I had a dog, my dog Josie bit two of my nephews on two different occasions. And I mean, I was off willing to do whatever right away. I mean, I know that's my family.
Starting point is 00:10:51 But even if it had been a stranger, like I would have gone above and beyond to be like, how can I help you? I want to take care of this. This is a misunderstanding. She's a sweet dog, but she's, you know, and so they didn't do that, though. My advice to you is know what's going to happen most likely is nothing. I'm happy that you seem to be okay, but I would still ask. And I wouldn't even go pay all my medical bills.
Starting point is 00:11:14 I would ask nicely if you can get a hold of them and be like, hey, this happened and it's really unfortunate and I'm struggling. Can you help at all? That's the way I would approach it. Eddie, you? Yeah, it's tough. But, I mean, the dog's actions is their responsibility. So the right thing to do is for them to pay for it. But you're right.
Starting point is 00:11:32 I mean, they're going to get it. They probably won't. But yeah, I would reach, you know, go over, knocking the door and say, hey, show them your injuries. Show them the medical report. Maybe. Hey, there's 50, 50% chance that they'll pay. Oh, 50 now. But you can put it on TikTok, tell the whole story and go fund me.
Starting point is 00:11:47 So may lunch, go fund me. Good point. Never forget about that. We've got your email and we read it on your air. Now it's by the club. Bobby's Mailback. Yeah. All right.
Starting point is 00:11:59 It's near the end of March and lunchbox. Those Christmas lights are still up. And if you ask why, I want to play you a clip because he was confronted by a neighbor in mid-January about having his lights on. Excuse me? What did you say? I couldn't hear you. Hey, I'm just saying you have the last house in a neighborhood
Starting point is 00:12:17 with the Christmas lights on. I walk all over and everyone else is put theirs away. Yours is the last one. What's the deal? Well, I mean, I get it. I mean, but I have kids. It's been snowing. Like, I have a job. I mean...
Starting point is 00:12:29 You haven't gotten around two yet? Yeah, I'm just... It's festive. It's festive, but, you know, there's an energy shortage. You're burning those kilobots. I'm thinking of you. My favorite is the energy shortage. I know.
Starting point is 00:12:41 And I'm thinking of you. So, it's now officially spring. I mean, today's the 23rd of March. And so, even yesterday, the lights were up and you're happy. Yeah. Developing story, though? Yeah. What happened?
Starting point is 00:12:52 Last night, the kids are in bed. we're watching TV and the wife says, hey, can I talk to you? She came in with some bad news about the lights. All right, so here's a clip of Lunchbox talking to his wife last night. So I want you to tell America what you told me. It's time to take the Christmas lights down. Is there a reasoning that a neighbor come to you?
Starting point is 00:13:15 Has someone talked to you? What is it? No, it's not that. Well, you know, my parents are coming soon and I just, I don't want them to see the Christmas lights. still on the house. It's embarrassing. But what will your parents think if they show up in the Christmas Heights? They will think that we are lazy. We don't have our act together.
Starting point is 00:13:37 We're being ridiculous, especially with this stupid feud and with the neighbor. But you would say I won the feud, right? You would say I won. Sure. If that is what is going to make you take the lights down, then you won. Good job. All right. Let's go make out. No. You won. I won. I stand by you.
Starting point is 00:13:57 I won. If you can make it to April 1st, you won. I can't. Oh. You got serious there real quick. Like she said, her parents are coming in the next week as I got to get him down.
Starting point is 00:14:07 Like, she wants me to have them down by the time of her parents. Who rules the house? Yeah, I thought you said you wore the pants and only year. No, I do. I do, but out of respect and her parents thinking
Starting point is 00:14:14 we don't have our lives together and she said I won. She admitted I beat the neighbor. They're going to come down. Wow. She wears the pants for sure. We just heard it loud and clear. That's it.
Starting point is 00:14:24 Yeah. He even said, Let's go make out and she goes, no. Yeah. What you heard there is some hardcore pants wearing. Oh. Wow. No, no, no, no.
Starting point is 00:14:32 Wow, we've heard it. All right. That's all we need to do this segment. Close it up. Wow. Oh, I still wear the pants. How long? When she lets you.
Starting point is 00:14:42 How long have they been up? But she didn't tell you to pull them down. Oh, she'd been asking? Asking. Asking. But now when she tells. No, when she says her parents are coming, I have to say, and she admitted I've won the feud. You guys said, I won.
Starting point is 00:14:54 I won the feud. So, you know what? My point is proven. They're just coming down. Well, and you're going to say those kilowatts, which I do like. What did you say kilowatts? All those kilowatts. The energy shortage. Well, I'm proud of you. I like it. Yeah. I would do the same thing. I'll talk to you. I'm out of control. That's right. All right. Good job. Starting point is 00:15:29 tell. I always love finding stories where they talk about video games in a positive light. And this one is, the average video gamer has made five new friends through online play. It's hard to make friends as an adult. I think we'd all agree with that. Yes. It's hard to keep friendships as an adult because you also have a lot of things that you do in your own house that's taking your time rather than being able to hang out with folks. Yeah. But I will tell you, I'm in a little. little league with three old school friends from Texas who we weren't really that close. We were always friends, but we didn't talk a whole lot.
Starting point is 00:16:04 And now we're playing a maddenly. We talk all the time. We have a texter that blows up constantly. If I were getting married today, it's probably all my best men and I would be out. All because of the games. All because of the game. But it's crazy how much, I would compare it to what fantasy football does for guys and girls. But with us, we don't have any women that play in our league, so it's all guys.
Starting point is 00:16:23 but you become really close. The video game is just a conduit to lifelong friendship. It's pretty cool. There you have it. Amy? I mean, yeah, I guess it's in the facts right there. It's in the facts. That's right.
Starting point is 00:16:36 I mean, I think it's cool that you've also been able to meet, like, young. Young? What are you trying to say, Amy? I haven't met young anything. I mean. These are all my friends for 10 years or more. Andrew's kind of young. You met that one guy.
Starting point is 00:16:49 Oh, that's true. That Andrew, yeah. Kansas. Yes, that's what I mean. Like young people that help keep you young. He's not that young. Yeah. He's like.
Starting point is 00:16:57 How old was you when you met? I think he's about to graduate college. Yeah. Oh, he's young, but yeah. What happened was. It keeps you fresh. I forgot about that one. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:17:05 We were playing basketball. He was a two K. And I just got on Twitter and said, hey, we need a player. And he jumped on. He said, I'll play with you. And so, but now he's like one of the crew. He came to our show when we were in. Wichita.
Starting point is 00:17:18 And we were like, I hug him. I hug him like he's my best friend. It was very cool to see him. until then in person. The gift of online friendship. That's right. I forgot about that. I don't even consider him like a gamer friend anymore. I mean, we met his dad, his brother. Yeah. Full family.
Starting point is 00:17:32 That's a good point. I just don't like how you set that up with young guys. Other than that, all good. So, it is allowing friendships. I do see where people can get out of control and play 8 to 10 hours, though. Yeah. I do now see that. It's not about just playing the game. It's about building something. I'm trying to build a team. In a healthy way.
Starting point is 00:17:48 Forknight. Is that Fortnite? Is that Fortnite? You say forknight? You know, the forknight. Oh, gosh. Glad everybody's here. Your kids are not playing?
Starting point is 00:17:56 Playing what? They play. They play. They play what? Stevenson doesn't play. Yeah, they play. They both play. But he doesn't play online with friends.
Starting point is 00:18:03 He has one friend, Jake, that he plays with. Oh, I met Jake, though. He knows Jake. Our pastor's kids. And we know everybody. Yeah, we don't play with strangers. No, I wouldn't either. Not at this point.
Starting point is 00:18:13 He's 11. Yeah, exactly. It's time for the good news. With Bobby. Tell me something good. An eight-year-old boy diagnosed with a rare form of lymphoma has lived his dream of being a nature photographer. Oben Birmingham loves nature.
Starting point is 00:18:30 And he got to do the biggest, coolest thing if you love nature. He got to be a Nat Geo photographer for a day. So the Make-A-Wish, South Florida, helped him out. They got hooked up with the Nat Geo photographer Carlton Ward, which, by the way, those are like the greatest nature pictures ever. Like, that is their job. They hire the best of the best to go and take pictures of the aunt. When they get close to animals?
Starting point is 00:18:52 I was wondering how close they are. Probably too close. Still, though, they have those big lenses. Right. But for their credibility, they like to still get close to it. Just use the lens. I'd fly a drone over and take a picture of it. I don't get close to those things.
Starting point is 00:19:07 But they spent a whole day taking photos at a swamp sanctuary in southwest Florida, and he showed how to use trail cameras for the shots of undisturbed wildlife. There's your answer. Trail cameras sometimes. Perfect. Not that close. Great news for Obin. He's in remission.
Starting point is 00:19:20 which is probably the best part of this whole story. That's what it's all about. That was Tell Me Something Good. Legacy box is a simple, affordable. There's a drive-thru worker to Popeyes in New Orleans, and she likes to seeing the customers order back to them. So do you think this is fun or frustrating? Here you go.
Starting point is 00:20:33 Here is the exchange between her and her customer. How you doing? I'm doing fine. Keeping it real over here. That's what we do. What can I get you, baby? Let me get a number eight, please. Spicy a mild?
Starting point is 00:20:44 Spicy. And what side of you're going to talk it like a time? Red beans. Anything else? Caj and rice or cold? slow? Is it love? Trying to wash that waistline.
Starting point is 00:20:52 Watch that wasteline. You hear me? So that's a three spice and tinned with a red bean. Barbecue saw a twig that thing with strawberry off the rock. You hear me nine foot it up and keep it real. Ride it out, baby. You already know, love. All right.
Starting point is 00:21:02 Come around, honey, dumpling. I love it. A lot of people were online talking about how annoying it was, but I think it sounds pretty fine. It's amazing. It's so great. I guess the only way that I would be annoyed is if I was already in a bad mood. When you're in a bad mood, you don't want anyone else being in a good mood around you. That's awesome, right?
Starting point is 00:21:17 You drive up. And this is, that's a viose. viral gog on YouTube. Yeah, it's pretty cool. I hope someone sees that that works there and that's gone viral and gives her a raise or something. Maggie's on the phone. Maggie, who lives in Nashville. We talked about this on the show.
Starting point is 00:21:31 She ran into the lunchbox and said, hey, if you buy my dinner, I'll call the news because that's been his goal. Just for anyone to call the news and talk about how cool, how nice, how giving he is. So Maggie's on. Maggie, good morning. Good morning. So we talked about you. Hi, lunchbox. Good morning.
Starting point is 00:21:49 Your little rat. Oh, okay. Maggie, you heard the story. What did you think about it? Lunchbox's recollection of this is very different from my own. My friends and I were sitting at a table, and my friend's husband had some beer cans in front of him. I did not. And the first time I yelled out, hey, lunchbox, if you buy my dinner, I'll call the news.
Starting point is 00:22:10 He said, oh, I would if I had Bones's card. Bones is called. And so then I tried again to get him to do it, and I recorded it. and that's the time that he said no. You recorded it? Oh, see, now you shouldn't be recording celebrities in the while. It's very rude. Well, lunch, lunch, bucks, you told me to call in and tell the show about this.
Starting point is 00:22:29 Oh, my gosh. Well, I did because. Oh, my, here we go. But what I told her. Oh, my goodness. And now he's telling listeners, like, call the phone lines. No, no. I told her to call and say, I bought your lunch or dinner.
Starting point is 00:22:41 And she was like, yeah, yeah, that's what I'll do. I didn't know she was going to wrap me out and tell them that I didn't buy it. Like, I could get two for one. Oh, you said, no, I'm not doing it, but would you please call and say that I did? Yeah, basically trying to get her to make me look good, but it didn't work out. Maggie, go ahead. What would you like to say? I don't think that that's necessarily how it went. It was more like, hey, I'm going to let the show know that I tried.
Starting point is 00:23:05 And he's like, yeah, yeah, you should call him about it. That being said, I have a proposition for lunchbox. If he would like to make the news, because I really was going to call the news, my friend is the chief investigative reporter at one of the local stations. Well, why didn't you tell me that? You leave out these details. Why did you leave that out? You could have said that then.
Starting point is 00:23:25 You were just like, oh, I'm just going to call the news. And then she bragged that she's so smart. She was on Wheel of Fortune. I mean, I understand. I mean, yes. All right, hold on. Maggie, go ahead. If he would like to make the news, the chance to buy my $6 dinner has passed us.
Starting point is 00:23:40 But if he'd really like to make the news, I do teach kindergarten if you'd like to come read to my students. I can maybe have the news here, take some pictures. Pretty solid. I mean, can you do it? Can you do it? I mean, yeah, I'll do that to get on the news. I don't know what the news story is, though.
Starting point is 00:23:55 I can't read the kids. I mean, I didn't do anything like Shaq. Got to buy the kids lunch, lunch, too? You could? No, that's a lot of kids. You're supposed to say no. Okay. Take some donuts or something.
Starting point is 00:24:07 Maggie, I will let you guys figure this out, but maybe Lunchbox makes the news because Do you think a news group where they could do like a documentary? Oh my gosh. Like a Netflix special. Give him an inch. I'll let you two handle this. But she says she can call it a mile. A mile.
Starting point is 00:24:24 Lunchbox's goal is to be on the news. So Maggie, maybe we can organize where the news comes out. I don't know if she can or not. What if you go and there's no news? Yeah, exactly. This is what I think she's going to do. Oh, yeah, yeah, I'll get the news. And then I'll show up at the class and I've got to read.
Starting point is 00:24:36 No news. Okay, but would that be the worst thing ever? I mean, it's not getting me on the news. It would be the worst thing ever that you went and read to some kids. Not the worst, but it would be... You've done it before. It would be deflating that I was promised the news and I got the booze. No, that doesn't work.
Starting point is 00:24:52 Like, boo-hoo, a bunch of crying kids. Maggie, you've been on Will of Fortune? Yes, I have. Did you win any money? I won $2,000, yes. Did you win your game? I did not. All right, we got to go.
Starting point is 00:25:04 All right, so... I'm just kidding. Maybe we can organize this where lunchbox can go up and his dream of being on the news. will be fulfilled. I can make it happen. I'm confident. I love it. Okay. Hey, man, just imagine this is what I get on the news for instead of being a hero. I get to go read the kids and that's what it gets me on the news. Does it matter what he reads? No, I'll do the crack one. The one that got crack in my butt. The one that got a crack in my butt's going to crack in it. My butt needs a new crack in it. My butt needs fixing her something because it's got a crack in it. I'll let you
Starting point is 00:25:35 handle that. Maggie, we're going to put you on hold. Thank you for calling. Thank you. Have a good day, guys. All right. See you later. So Jack White, who you might know from the White Stripes, claims he can recognize any Beatles song from a one-second clip.
Starting point is 00:26:07 And they have a ton of songs. Lots. One second clip. and here is a video that proves it boys lady madonna an earberkin sing Julia
Starting point is 00:26:20 roll over Beethoven I'm looking through you so that's all he hears he knows the mall that's really cool so Mike Diaz has put together something Mike what do we have here in the game room
Starting point is 00:26:34 we're gonna see if you can do this with 90s country the very first second of the song if you can identify the song first second that's what he's Oh, that's just the first second. I thought they were grabbing just a random second. First second of the song. Okay.
Starting point is 00:26:45 Are these songs question, are they album cuts from the 90s? Or are they songs that we would all know? You would all know, they're all singles. One second of a song. You can do this. You can do it. How you can. How many do I have.
Starting point is 00:26:58 We have 12 of them if you want to do that many. Wow, a lot. Jack White would do it. I'm not Jack White. All right, let's go. Shania Twain, any man of mine. George Strait, check yes or no. Okay, Alan Jackson, Shatt.
Starting point is 00:27:13 Hucci. Hey, give me something hard. Hey, give me something hard. Stop it. Stop it. That one right there was a good one. That was the easy one. That was easy one. Okay. Toby Keith should have been a cowboy. Oh. Almost like that. Heads Carolina tells California
Starting point is 00:27:32 Jody Messina. No, no, no. That's right. Is it not right? Bye-bye. Oh, Jody Messina. What? That's bye-bye. Oh, I had the artist. I missed the song.
Starting point is 00:27:43 Oh, dang. I thought you had that. Me too. Me too. All right, give me another one. Trisha Yearwood. She's in love with the boy. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:27:53 Garth Brooks. Call him Baton Rouge. What? Oh, hold on. That's not fancy, but that is Reba. That's a night that the last one out in Georgia. That's what that, right? Bones.
Starting point is 00:28:05 Okay, okay. Oh, that one almost got me. That almost Jody machined me. Okay, go ahead. Creole Williams. David Lee Murphy, Dust on the bottle. Sammy Kirschildershaw, she don't let's be beautiful. Kenny Chesney don't blink.
Starting point is 00:28:28 She got it all. She got it all. Wow, that was a tough one, dude. All right, one more. I'm hardworking, man. Brooks and done, hardworking, man. Oh, I went, what, 11 for 13? Yeah, I missed two.
Starting point is 00:28:40 10 out of 12. Okay. Same. They were only 12. That's not pretty good. It's really good. I'm not impressed with myself, but I feel like I didn't embarrass myself there.
Starting point is 00:28:51 Yeah. Good. Well, do you think there are listeners think I'm cool or no? Probably cooler, yeah. No, I think so. Just to go with it, Eddie. Yeah, yeah, they love you, dude. Cooler.
Starting point is 00:28:59 Thank you. Yes. I think you're awesome. All right, well, how about we play? What was the last song, Brooks had done, hardworking man? Yep. I mean, y'all definitely Jack White's cool for doing that, right? Yeah, but he didn't miss it.
Starting point is 00:29:10 I know, but I mean, I'm just saying, like, you, I thought that was cool hearing him do that, so listeners probably do think it's cool to hear you do that. But would you have gotten all those in the first second? Most of them. Oh, good. Okay. I would have. I wouldn't have gotten them as quickly as you, but I would have gotten there. We'd just sit each one within three minutes.
Starting point is 00:29:28 Totally. Totally. Yeah, yeah, yeah. All right, here's a voicemail from last night. So I recently heard of something called made-to-fade tattoos, and they go on like regular tattoos, like with needle and ink, but the ink is biodegradable. So it only lasts like nine to 15 months. Would Morgan, too, be willing to get a Shania tattoo that lasted one year to show she's a superfan?
Starting point is 00:29:51 Also, is this a way for Amy to make good on her bet and get Bobby's face tattooed on her? What do you guys think? The second one more so than the first, because I think Morgan's ship has sailed in the tattoo of Shania part. You know, Morgan's trying to get on the show called Shania Superfan. And you still could, but I think they think you would be doing it just to get on the show. Yeah, exactly. And I don't think you have to have a tattoo to be a super fan. I think if you don't have a tattoo, but you have all the other ways, you probably stand out even more.
Starting point is 00:30:19 Have you heard anything from them? I haven't yet, no. That's only been a couple days. Amy, you do still owe me a tattoo. That depends on how you look at it. No, no. Okay, I'm going to look at it like someone who made a bet with you and you welched on the bed. I'm going to look at it like someone who basically said they would never go to Haiti and then went to Haiti without me behind my back.
Starting point is 00:30:40 I said, we'll make a bet if I do, you get a tattoo and then I went secretly. But there was no. Who would have thought you would ever go see my kids in Haiti secretly? I just said if I ever go, well, you get it. And you said, yes, lunchbox. Yes, it doesn't matter if he went with you without you. That wasn't in the rules. It wasn't in the rules.
Starting point is 00:30:56 He said, if he ever goes, you would get the tattoo. Did he go, Amy? Just yes or no. Did he go? He's asked you a question. Lunchbox, why would I think that Bobby would ever go to Haiti without me? The bet wasn't if he went with you. He came back on a Monday.
Starting point is 00:31:10 I was like, guess where I was? So he did go. So I went, you said? I started crying. So you went? You went? Yeah. So did you get the.
Starting point is 00:31:18 No. All right. Welch. Here we go. Welch. Yeah, Welch. I'm a Welcher. She's that Welch. Great.

Starting point is 00:31:49 I wonder what would happen if the guy next to me had a heart attack and died. Not specifically that, no, but I have wondered what would happen if someone died. Well, I have a flight attendant describing the procedure for that. The thing that always kind of freaks me out is that we have to put them back in their seat. So if it's a full flight and the person next to you has a heart attack and we can't move anyone, you have a dead person next to you until we land. And if someone says, is the person next to me dead, you have to say it appears so. Oh, that's the, yeah.
Starting point is 00:32:17 And they leave them there? Yeah. I thought they would have like put it in the bathroom. They have to cover them though. They put sunglasses on them. Like weekend at burns? They have to. Yes.
Starting point is 00:32:27 Yes. Them sitting there. I'm going to go ahead and say that is crazy traumatizing even. Yeah. You probably try to find another open seat. Even if it's a middle on Southwest, you go find another seat. Absolutely. But if you can't, they cover it, I'm sure, and it is what it is. You know what they should do?
Starting point is 00:32:44 I mean, I know they probably have protocol. Okay, maybe. Or they buckle it in a flight attendant seat back. in the back so it's like alone and then the flight attendant takes that seat. I'm sure they've thought of that or they just open the door. No.
Starting point is 00:32:57 Good luck. Yeah. That clip, by the way, was from other people's lives podcast if you want to maybe check out. Somewhere in Kansas. Yeah, you're just like, all right, buddy. You've heard that song Flyover States, right?
Starting point is 00:33:08 Well, why do I always think of guys dying? It's never a woman who I think of this in my head. All right, what else? So Cinnamon Toast Crunch is a super popular cereal and now they have just launched a new spread, and it sounds amazing. You can find it at Kroger stores and Amazon later this month, but pretty much you can spread it on bread, you can dip, you can use it to dip,
Starting point is 00:33:31 like, oh, I think if you got a pretzel and dipped it in this cinnamon toast crunch, it would be amazing. Yeah, so be on the lookout. Cinnamon toast crunch is just great. I feel, too, it's made in the last few years like a reentry into the world for the younger generation. Oh, they love it. We have that in our house all the time. What I'm still waiting for is cookie critics.
Starting point is 00:33:49 to make that re-entry. It's still there, but the kids don't gravitate to it. It's because it's not cool yet. Is that up to us? Do we need to make cookies cool? Cookie grease. Remember that? All right, what else?
Starting point is 00:33:59 So we've said it before, but just feel like we've got to say it again because people are falling for celebrities or country superstars asking them for money and they're paying it. Colesmandel again? No, George Strait. I got to say. Oh, George. Like this woman in North Dakota said she was target of a scam where she lost $900 to a man claiming that he was George.
Starting point is 00:34:21 And she was, like, it happened on Facebook. She was invited to join this George Strait fan club. And then George straight up started asking her for money to join the fan club. She said she even said, if you're a celebrity, why are you asking me for money? You make more money than I've ever seen in my life. But I guess George replied with a good answer. So she sent the money over. I'm like, well, yeah.
Starting point is 00:34:43 I mean, guys got a point. I mean, so just know that nobody's going to be asking for money, especially George. Unless they have a blue check mark. And it's... Cole Swindell. It's just hot. No, I always get tricked by
Starting point is 00:34:55 Cole Swindell 69 or Cole Swindell with three L's. It's never the real blue check mark, Cole Swindell. It's like Cole Swindell. All right, Amy, is that it? I'm Amy. That's my pile. That was Amy's pile of stories.
Starting point is 00:35:09 It's time for the good news. Who's Amy? Tell me something good. So there's this woman named Jacqueline. She lives in Illinois, and her friend Brooke is battling cancer. And she started just helping Brooke out with her makeup and hair to help her feel normal and kind of bring light back into her life. And if you've ever been in a hospital or had to stay there and you're going through treatments,
Starting point is 00:35:31 you just feel kind of bleh. So getting a little glam session always makes you feel good. Well, now Jacqueline has inspired other women to do it. She started a nonprofit. It's called Simply From the Heart. And she has a whole squad of glam girls that are visiting hospitals across the country. and they show up with glam boxes filled with 30 beauty products that are donated by people and companies. And I just feel like this is an amazing mission. And it all started with one friend.
Starting point is 00:35:58 Yeah, if you would have told her that an entire nonprofit was going to be launched because of something she just wanted to do nice for her friend. Yeah. She probably would not have believed it. But that's where it started. That's an awesome story. That is what it's all about. That was Tell Me Something Good. This is the end of part one.
