Owning a home comes with a lot of things nobody really prepares you for, including yard care.
Sunday is a company trying to make that part easier.
They start with a soil test and climate data to build a yard plan tailor to where you live,
then ship everything directly to your door.
no guesswork, no dragging bags of fertilizer.
And instead of harsh chemicals, Sunday uses simple, nutrient-dense ingredients like seaweed, molasses, and iron.
Everything hooks up to a hose, which honestly sounds like my speed.
If your yard feels more stressful than satisfying, Sunday's approach makes a lot of sense.

The morning corny.
Where do boats go when they're sick?
Where do boats go when they're sick?
To the boat dock.
The boat dock.
The boat docked.
That was the morning corny.
I thought you'd get one that right away
because you worked at a marina as a teenager.
Yeah, the boat dock.
Doc.
Like what up, Doc?
That's one you look at and that's funny.
The dock.
D-O-C. Yeah, D-O-C.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
You're right, I did work in a marina for years.
By the way, Amy's birthday is Friday, and for her birthday, I said, hey, Amy, what do you want to do?
We can have a party.
She said, you know, I would like for us, if possible, to raise money for the orphanage that our kids came from.
So we're not just asking you for money, but if you go over to bobbybones.com and you buy anything that is our Pimp and Joy brand, we've never kept a single dollar.
and all the money this week is going to go towards the orphanage
that Amy's kids came from.
They're struggling right now, and so I know that was on your heart,
and so people can go over now.
Anything, you get something, and then the kids get something.
Yeah, and just know, and I'll even update y'all
and the progress of where these funds go,
but, like, there's even two little boys there that are in needs of, like, new wheelchairs.
And it's just expenses that have popped up recently that are adding up,
and that's what I would love for my birthday is to help them.
And for Lunchbox's birthday, he wants Lamborghini.
So we're just going to put those.
No, but with Amy, you can help.
Just go to Bobby Bones.com and get you a little something there.

All right on the phone right now is McKinsey in Ohio.
Eddie is representing McKinsey.
Yeah.
I don't even know what the prize is.
Scoob, if you can let me know what the prize is in one second, that'll be awesome.
That's how you know it's not a big prize.
It's getting something together right now.
Okay, Eddie, how many boy bands can you name?
I just need the artist.
I probably only know like two.
You only know two.
For example, here you go.
I got that one.
Okay.
That's Backstreet Boys.
That's Backstreet Boys.
I won it that way.
Right.
So I'm going to give you five boy bands.
All you have to do is get two of them.
Oh, okay.
That's it. It's your weakest category.
You get to McKenzie will win the mystery prize.
Hey.
Which we will find out a little later.
McKenzie, I feel good about this.
Hey, McKenzie, do you have a Venmo?
No, I have cash app.
Listen, if the prize is so bad, I'll send you $25 myself.
Oh, wow.
Because I never know exactly what we're dealing with here.
Okay, Eddie, pick a number, 1 through 10.
You're picking your own poison here.
Go ahead.
Let's go 9.
Number 9, can you name this boy band?
Wow, it's a boy band?
I don't know.
Go with 98 degrees.
Is that a new boy band?
2010?
I mean, I don't even know who this is.
The Wanted.
Oh, nope, no clue.
I've heard the song before.
Sorry, McKenzie.
Okay, but that's only one.
It's only one gone.
You got to get two out of the next four.
Pick a number one through 10.
Let's go two.
Don's, I mean, let's go 98 degrees.
I have no idea who these people are
That is incorrect
Oh my gosh
Morgan I think you know that one
Yeah that's the Jonas Brothers
Really? I know that?
Yeah
I mean because I saw their documentary
Eddie got to get two out of the next three
Okay
McKenzie's not looking very good for you buddy
That's all right I still have faith
I don't know why
I don't know
Okay Eddie go ahead with your next number selection
Number five
Number five
Because I've won it all
On nothing
at all
There's nowhere left to
fall when you reach the bottom
It's now or never
Eddie, can you name that boy band?
Who's saying?
Okay, hold on.
I'm between two.
What are you between?
Boys to men or all for one.
But I don't think that's boys to men.
So I'm going to go for all for one.
Wow, that's very wrong.
It is.
Yeah, a whole different generation.
What?
That's O-Town.
Oh my gosh.
I'm sorry.
Have I offended?
you. Yeah, exactly.
I apologize. I was in that group
already stages. Right, I know.
All right, Eddie, you gotta get the next... Because this is it.
You got to get the next two right.
Think about it.
Let's go. I mean, I think you're gonna put an easy one
at the very beginning, so give me number one.
Does that song sound familiar at all?
No, none of these sound familiar, man.
Like, that's crazy. How, I love music, and I don't know who any of these boy
bands are. That was the reason we played the game.
Yeah. Oh, my gosh. Clearly you don't love all music.
Clearly you don't love good music
because we've been ripping it out for you here.
I feel like I have to go to the OG
so give me 98 degrees.
Gosh, McKenzie, I'm sorry.
98 degrees is correct.
What? Stop it! Let's go!
That's Nick Lachet?
Yeah, it's 98 degrees, yeah.
Yeah, that is Nick Lachet, the lead singer.
It all comes down to this one.
Hey, Scoot-Stee, what's he playing for here?
So we've got a board game
that'll be signed by all you guys.
A blank slate board game.
A Mary Morris from Ryan Huron.
heard candle
and we have this
J&M fresh hat
and a $50 gift card to Sonic.
Oh wow.
That's awesome.
That's a really good prize.
Okay, here we go.
Let's go over.
McKenzie, this is the last one.
Eddie?
I've got to pick a number.
Let's go 10.
All right.
Here is number 10.
New kids on the block
had a bunch of heads.
Chinese food makes me sick
and I think it's fly away
and girls stop by for the summer.
Do you know the song?
I think so.
Do you know the words?
the words of this song?
Like, what do you know? What do you recognize in here?
This song, and you really like this song?
Like, you know all the words of this song.
And we as a band have played this song.
We have it. We have it.
So I think I have it.
For the win.
I just want to make sure I get these three letters right.
Hey, McKenzie.
Yeah.
Eddie Phil's like he can win this thing right here.
Do you have a sonic nearby you, by any chance?
I do, actually.
All right.
I love Sponick.
Great. What did you say, McKenzie?
I said my wife actually loves bonnet.
Okay, great.
All right.
Dinner on us.
If Eddie gets this right.
Come on.
Eddie.
Are you ready?
I have L.
F.
O.
Now, if the letters aren't in the exact right order, I can't give it to them, right?
Do you want to reconsider your letters?
No, because, I mean, I've tried.
Those three letters, I've kind of mixed them all around, like UFO, MFO.
No, no.
The three letters are right.
Do you want to reconsider their oral?
You're saying they're right?
Yes.
So it's not going to be OFL.
This is like Price is right.
When you know all the numbers are the same, but they're not all.
I'll let you reconsider the letters.
I know O is the last letter.
So if it is different, it would be FLO, and that doesn't sound right.
So I'm staying with LFO.
He says LFO.
The answer is, come on.
LFO.
Yes!
He did it!
We did it, McKenzie!
I knew you could do it
Do you want to hear a couple of the other ones?
Yeah, come up
That's a big time rush
Wouldn't it got that one?
They're called big time rush?
Yeah, they have a reunion coming up
There's another one
One Direction
Five seconds of summer
Dang
All right
We're going at it tonight
Tonight
There's a party on the rooftop
No chance
And then one
One direction
BTS
Yes.
And then one more.
Yes.
One direction.
Correct.
Yeah.
All right.
McKenzie, you win, buddy.
Nice job.
Thanks for playing.
And I hope you have a great day.
Congratulations.
Awesome.
Thank you.
All right.
I'd have laughed if you to went F-L-O.
I thought about it.

Hey, so in the mailbag a second ago we were talking about, you know, this, she found out that
her dad, that she's known as her dad isn't her dad, and she wants to go and meet her family,
and obviously it's very complicated.
But I kind of just highlighted on one little part of the email she sent me that said,
I'd like to meet the rest of my family.
And, okay, that's A number one, then make it happen, and you can figure out the rest of the things.
So I have some calls here.
Why don't we go to Barbara in Kansas, who is sitting on hold.
We appreciate your Barbara calling into the show today.
Good morning.
Morning, Bobby.
Morning studio.
Morning.
Hey, I just wanted to say to your mailbagger that, yes, they have every right to go and look for their biological father,
but they need to make sure that they talk to their mother and the person that they raised them and let them know.
Okay.
My daughter was three
My daughter was three years old when I met her dad.
She grew up her whole entire life knowing that he was not her biological father and who her biological father was, but she also needed a story.
And I think-
I knew at one point in time, go ahead.
No, I'm sorry, you're leaving big gaps and I just don't want to leave you hanging.
So you finish your story and then I'll come on after you.
Go ahead.
Okay.
When she was 21 years old, she had my second granddaughter.
She decided she was going to go look for her biological father.
I knew her whole entire life that this was a possibility,
but I dreaded the day that it came because she didn't come talk to us to let us know.
And then he broke her heart.
Well, that is unfortunate.
I do think that as an adult, you have the right to decide if you want to let somebody know or not.
I think it's probably healthier in most relationships to go, I'm going to go find that biological
parent. But I don't think that's the case for everyone. And I do think the child who is now an adult
or at whatever age they are, they do have the right to go and seek them out, even if they're not
given permission or the blessing of the other parents. You know, I think that's the right of the human
being who wants to know their parent. And it is extremely difficult. Yeah, and you may not want to. I
I mean, there could be multiple reasons why they don't share.
It could be unhealthy relationship or they fear that they're going to get upset or mad and they might say something or think something.
They don't want to hurt them.
But, yeah, yes, it would be good if everybody was in the know and there could be support.
But then, like, even like we said in the mailback, you just know expectations because, like, her daughter had her heart broken.
So she was, she probably leans towards don't do it.
But just don't have, like, did you have expectations when you went to see your dad for the first time in forever?
No, I think I probably thought after 30 years of not seeing him that nothing was going to happen.
So my expectation was probably even less than what was.
And what was wasn't us going, all right, Papa and Son together again.
But I was able to kind of take off that 100-pound lead vest that I'd been wearing my whole life of villainizing someone for their actions.
I was able to go, oh, this is just somebody who screwed up real bad in a way that I can see me screwing up because I'm the same DNA.
So I didn't hate anymore.
I was very disappointed and I still don't have a relationship with him, but I did not have an expectation.
And it went above the expectation I had because I felt better and more whole.
Yeah.
So I don't know if that answered it exactly what you were asking.
No, I think it's just a good reminder that it could go either way.
You don't know this person.
They are your dad.
and then get good after.
But just don't have, like, don't have this fairy tale in your head.
So that way there's, like, resentment or disappointment that it doesn't go the way you thought.
I think that's a great point.
Don't have a fairy tale in your head.
Life is not a fairy tale.
Life's awesome sometimes.
And life sucks sometimes.
And eventually it always kind of catches up and you just, you have a pretty good life.
You know, I think we have a baseline of a pretty good life if we have that outlook.
You have to have that outlook because you can definitely find reasons that life sucks.
But you can also find as many reasons that life is amazing.
But what you want to do is kind of average out at about a pretty good all the time.
That's a win.
If you can average out a pretty good all the time, that wins.
But I would, yes, it is difficult and everyone is going to be uncomfortable.
I'm just giving you a heads up on that.
Everybody's going to be uncomfortable.
But you only grow through uncomfortability.
Even humans.
We grow.
It hurts physically.
You know, you're 11, 13?
Growing pains.
Right.
That also happens in this situation.
All right.
Barbara, thank you for sharing your story.
That is an absolutely important perspective that I'm glad you called us.
Thanks for taking my call, Bobby.
You're welcome.
Yeah, you too.
See you later.
Let me go to Cheryl and Alabama.
I did not expect to go in to say death.
Hey, Cheryl.
What's happening?
Not much.
Morning studio.
Morning.
I actually found out the same thing the listener did five years ago.
I was 50 years old and found out that my.
My father that raised me was not my father.
And so you're an adult, I mean, you're an adult adult at 50, not 22, but 50.
So what happens in your mind when you find out, and I don't want to say have been misled,
but when you find out what you have believed your whole life wasn't accurate?
It was an emotional roller coaster from the get-go.
I did call my mother immediately.
and, you know, she was in total denial.
She said, there's no way it's not possible, you know, the whole nine yards.
But when it came down to it, when I did a little more research, I actually, it was a first cousin that matched me on DNA, and I was able to talk to her and figured out immediately who my father was.
my mom didn't deny ever dating the man, but she just didn't know.
And it was back in the 60s.
You know, 60s was a crazy time.
That's what I hear.
And I don't hold it against her.
My question is for you is, do you think your mom knew, or do you think that your mom is not telling,
I don't know, I'm confused.
When you called and said, hey, is this true?
And she said, no, did she believe it was no?
She did believe it was no.
Wow.
She truly did.
And, you know, my mother really had a very difficult time with this.
I bet.
And it took her over two years to really get over it.
And she still honestly has problems with it.
That's a whole other element.
Yeah.
If the mom didn't know, too, that's both of you guys getting shocking news.
I mean.
Everybody, because, I mean, I guess the dad.
I've never heard that before where the mom also really didn't know.
Right.
Did the two dudes look exactly the same?
Do you know what gives me into great?
Well, actually, actually, yes, they do look very much alike.
You know, they say people have a pattern, you know, a type that they look, you know, that they go after.
So, yeah.
But what I really want to say, you know, I ended up finding three sisters.
So, and it's been a fairly good relationship, you know, I mean, I've met a lot of the family, the new family, but the listener is going to have to.
tread very lightly on this because some families reject and it's and it's very hard.
I know people who have been in the same situation and have been rejected and it's crushing.
I would rather be rejected and know and have them know than not to be rejected at all
and sit in a world of a wonder.
I don't like to wonder.
I'm okay failing, but I don't want to wonder.
I'm okay with it not happening if I try.
I'm not okay with not trying and just wondering if it would have ever happened.
But I appreciate that call.
Yeah, I'm not saying don't try.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
I hear you.
It's going very carefully with it.
You know, tread lightly, take baby steps.
I appreciate your call.
I have never heard a story where also the mom didn't know.
That means the dad didn't.
Like, don't you think that the...
Well, if the mom didn't know, the dad didn't know that.
That means nobody knew!
It's not like they were raising her and being like,
okay, just let's keep this on the down low,
I'll be the dad, we're all good.
You're going to tell me nobody knew.
Dude, these DNA tests are changing everything.
What are you going to tell me nobody knew?
I mean, she knew, though, that she...
A little bit I struggle with that, but okay, I'm going to believe it.
Because she had to know that she had a...
Nine months after?
She had a wild 60s.
She had to know that there was multiple...
I forgot that part of it, the 60s.
Okay, well, hey, we're going to move off of this.
Man, y'all, I got a...
Seriously, whenever these calls come in, I'm like, I got to do these tests because I think I have...
When these calls come in, I go, I don't want to do these tests.
Exactly. I think the opposite is.
All right.

I'm Morgan number two.
That's your skinny.
It's time for the good news.
With lunchbox.
Stay home, there's something good.
Chester Harris used to be homeless.
He would sleep on the bus stop bench every night, and then he got back on his feet,
got a security job at the local Kroger, and then he got an apartment, and he'd walk five miles to work,
five miles home.
And they did a little story on him on the news, talking about how he went from homelessness to an apartment job,
and the Detroit Rescue Mission saw his story.
and said, we got to get that guy a car.
And they gave him a Dodge Neon and said, here you go, Chester.
You can drive to work now.
Changes life completely.
Yeah, for sure.
Completely changes life.
Time, effort.
Like, he can spend more time with his family or friend.
I mean, the five mile walk every single day.
Think about how long that would take.
No, no, five miles there and five miles back.
That's what I'm saying.
Yeah, I mean, that's a lot of miles.
So five miles, to walk five miles.
What's it take to walk a mile?
Probably about 12, 13 minutes.
Oh, maybe 20 minutes.
Oh, yeah, not 12 or 13 minutes.
Olympic?
I'm just power walking over there.
No, I walk and I time myself just the average walk about 20 minutes for a mile.
So an hour, if he's really going each way, that's two hours a day just walking.
It's brutal.
Man, good for him.
The average walking mile between 15 and 22 minutes.
Oh, maybe I'm walking a little too fast.
Yeah, maybe you're just too.
Slow down.
Yeah, you're walking.
It's running.
That's a good story.
Good for him.
Good for them.
That's what it's all about.
That was tell me something good.

Bobby's Big.
Stories.
I'm going to give you a good story.
Then I'm going to give you a great story.
The story I was talking about a few minutes ago,
where I'm like, I saw it on the internet.
And I thought, can it be true?
All right, first up, Wilbur Brown gathered his friends in Oregon on Christmas Eve.
One of his friends bought a 26 for $25.
It's a megabaw ticket.
He's like, okay, cool.
He had it, forgot about it.
From Christmas time decided, oh, man, I forgot about this.
It won $8.9 million.
You forgot about it for months.
What?
That's amazing.
For months.
He literally went back to the lodge.
remembered his ticket where they met, scratched it and won $8.9 million. Oh, my gosh. Again, I see this
and I'm like, wow, great story for him. I'm sure he's a lovely man. But how many tickets are
forgotten all the time that win millions of dollars? There just aren't a lot of those tickets,
but I would imagine if this was almost forgotten, some are actually forgotten. Yeah. But good for old
Wilbur Brown. That's for NBC16.com. That's a name. The kids aren't being named anymore. No,
Wilbur's done. And I like the name Wilbur.
It needs to come back. It's a good one.
Okay, this is it.
This is the story I've been waiting to tell you guys, and I saw it on Twitter yesterday, right when I got off the air.
It says the Senate has approved a bill to make daylight saving time permanent.
And then I wrote, don't mess with me here.
If you're not going to really do it, don't do it.
And so it's since become a bigger story because I think it was kind of unexpected.
So yesterday, the Senate unanimously approved a measure that would make a measure that would make a better.
Make daylight savings time permanent across the United States next year.
It is a bipartisan bill, meaning if there's something that both sides can agree on,
it's that changing our clocks sucks.
Come on.
I have said for years, I didn't care who it was.
If they make this happen, like, thumbs up for me.
And anyone that's trying to keep it from happening, don't care what side you're on.
I'll campaign against you.
I'll go out and just hold a sign and says they want the clocks changed.
don't care. So it would ensure
Americans no longer have to change their clocks twice a year.
But
the Senate did their thing. Now
it's got to go to the House. And then it's got to
go to the president to become a law.
So two more levels.
And
I understand some people go
well, and I heard from a couple teachers.
And they go, well, you know, if it's daylight at one
part of the day at 840 in the morning,
I'm teaching class in dark.
Teaching classes while it's dark.
And that does make sense.
that, but you're, not everybody's going to win.
And if that's what I'm giving up, some kids,
whether it being dark outside,
hey, thumbs up for me.
We got lights inside.
Yeah.
I think that we should, even if we had to change the other way,
I would still rather have that than changing our clocks.
And what's your reasoning you want to play outside longer?
I want to play on the street in the cul-de-sac longer.
Right, right, right, right, with a voice.
Yes.
Because we always hear, Bobby, come in.
Oh, dinner time.
I'm like, oh, it's dark, mom.
So, but I just think us switching clocks is dumb.
Arizona rocks it.
You don't hear them playing?
Which one do they rock?
No, no.
I would assume this one.
I would assume this one.
Okay.
Well, because, yes, while I, as an adult, love more light later,
I could see where it's difficult for parents having light later,
trying to get the kids down.
But that's what blackout curtains and stuff, I guess, can be for.
Here you go.
Quote, I've said it before, I'll say it again.
Americans want more sunshine and less depression.
Oh, that's good.
People in this country all the way from Seattle to Miami want the Sunshine Protection Act.
Yes.
Senator Patty Murray of Washington added.
Oh, so that's what it's called.
So there are two quotes that I think about in history.
One, Patrick Henry, give me liberty or give me death.
Or two, Senator Pat Murray of Washington.
I've said it before.
Americans want more sunshine and less depression.
Those are the two that I think history books,
Well, long.
Kids are going to be saying that in projects.
Yes.
50 years from that.
Who are you today? I'm George Washington.
I'm the first president.
Who are you?
Well, I'm Abe Lincoln.
I'm President 16.
You know, I was, you know, one of the most important.
And who are you?
I'm Senator Patty Murray of Washington.
Oh, sunshine.
I have the sunshine protection.
Yeah.
Let's go.
It's dumb.
Like, once we just change it and start doing it,
then no one will ever think back.
And we've been totally normal.
And I've been fighting for this for years.
This is not.
I'm no Johnny come late.
I've been saying this for seven years.
Is that an eagle song?
Eddie, I'm not talking about that and I don't think it is.
But I've been saying this is ridiculous.
Now, my next thing, once this passes,
I will start on a new idea that will change America in a positive way.
Because I feel like I'm partly involved in this.
The next one is going to be Halloween should always be on a Saturday.
Because, and I'm going to tell you why,
there is no allegiance to the day of the 31st.
It's not like Christmas.
it's not
July 4th
where that specific date is married
to that event
Although some say Christmas
could be moved around based on the stars
But I'm not doing that
So don't hit me with that right now
Okay
January 25th is Christmas
July 4th
December 25th is Christmas
Yeah whatever
Eddie I'm on a
Go ahead
Let him speak
I'm all over the place
It's fine we understand what you're saying
Halloween does not have to be on the 31st
Treat it like Thanksgiving
Yeah
When it's Halloween it should be a week
So the kids can go out and do their Halloween things.
So the adults that want to go out and do a Halloween thing, they do it on a Saturday night.
The last Saturday in October, just like we do, what, the fourth Thursday in November for Thanksgiving.
And Thanksgiving ranks above Halloween in important holidays.
And if we can do that for Thanksgiving, we can for sure drop down a couple of notches to do that for Halloween.
Makes sense.
It's stupid that Halloween's on a Monday.
I'm not fighting for that right now.
Sunshine Protection Act.
First thing first.
First.
And don't even get me started about Super Bowl Sunday.
Oh, oh, man.
You want to hear the list of things that we're going to hear the list of things.
I was thinking about, Halloween's going to be the next one.
There's some of these. Number one, either the day after the Super Bowl should be a holiday or we move it to Saturday.
Number two, election day should be a federal holiday.
Everybody has the right to vote.
Some people that I know can't get off work in time, at time.
And sometimes it's like, well, you get off at five,
but then they have to work until 6.30 and they can't even get in line.
Everybody has the right to vote.
There's that one.
I think, and I'm going to get some pushback on this,
there should be a universal age of being an adult.
And if we say you're an adult at 18 years old,
and you can go and fight in war and you get the right to vote,
you should also be able to buy alcohol.
Now, if we're going to move that to 21, great.
But it is confusing to go, well, you're an adult here, but not here.
We can send you to war.
You can go fight for our country, but you can't buy a bushlight.
Good example, though.
All the kids were on your side until then.
Also, too.
But isn't that ridiculous that you can join the military, be sent to fight, but you can't buy a mad dog 2020.
Okay.
Why do you keep referencing the alcohols from like when you were a child?
So like, where do you lean?
18 being the adult or 21?
18.
Okay.
Because that's the age.
That's the age we've always been told.
And the one thing you can't do is drink.
And it's like, well, if we're an adult, let us be an adult.
But our brains are developing until we're like 24, 25.
Okay, well, then 24 years?
No, I'm just saying.
I've already passed it.
No, 21's the sweet spot.
My only point is there should be a universal age.
Yeah.
Let's stop changing up ages.
Yeah, I agree.
So that's one of those.
So that's probably a little harder.
That one's going to take longer to change.
Especially when you reference Bushlight, I think.
Mad Dog 2020?
Flat attendants have the right to duct tape all unruly passengers.
Yes.
Big believer in that.
Every new movie should be available to stream within 14 days of theater release.
Yeah.
I mean, move that to the top.
I don't know if I go right to the Senate floor or not.
But anyway, those are just some thoughts that I have.
But I'm going with Halloween next once it passes.
In a new study, scientists.
say a high-protein diet.
Oh, let me stop here.
Lunchbox.
Eddie, two men that...
Ray.
Who?
Three men that love being manly, so they'd say.
No.
No.
What do you eat in order to be manly?
To boost that testosterone and be a dude.
Oh, they eat?
Yeah.
Oh, double cheeseburger.
Handburgers.
With bacon.
Yeah.
Steaks.
Oh.
Oh, steak's good.
Yeah.
I've heard that.
Yeah.
Pahitas.
Oh.
That's not too manly.
Oh yeah, it is.
Fahitas with salsa.
In a new study, scientists say that a high-protein diet may reduce men's testosterone.
Uh-oh.
Which can lead to ED and low sperm count.
Uh-oh.
That goes your fajitas.
Well, luckily those aren't very man-lid.
Tofu fajitas.
Dang.
Those who followed a high-protein low-carb diet had much lower levels of testosterone compared to others,
which, by the way, is a bit counter to what we've always been told.
Yeah.
What salads? What do we do?
Bush light. No, Bush Light.
Bush Light and salads. Oddly.
And one final story.
90-day fiancé star Ben Rathbun arrested for drunk driving probation violation.
I've never seen 90-day fiancé, but the people I know that watch this show love this show.
Scuba Steve watches this show and loves this show.
And the whole purpose is they have 90 days to convince someone from another country to marry them.
That was the initial process, yes.
They've had so many spinoffs now.
The one that you're talking about, he's a star from before the 90 days.
So this is them trying to court the person they met online to then go into the next thing,
which is the 90-day period to then get marriage.
So it says he's a 52-year-old father of four.
His girlfriend's 22.
So he's trying to convince her.
Yeah, this one's actually a really funny story with this guy.
So he has a previous wife with children.
And so, and then so he met that.
this girl online that everyone thought he was being catfish because she looked very beautiful.
It was not possible for him based on his age and his looks.
Hey, been there.
He meets the girl after sitting there at the restaurant for hours and hours and hours.
She finally shows up.
And then they have this whole journey of finding out she's younger than what she normally is.
He meets the parents.
It's super awkward.
He blames God for all these things.
It's just a really tumultuous relationship with this guy and this girl.
52 and 22.
Yeah.
Is he older than her parents?
He is the same age as her parents.
so it creates a lot of awkward situations
when he meets them and speaks to them.
And he is busted for drunk driving.
Is this something you expected from him?
Based on the life that he portrays
about being very religious
and all these things that he uses
and the jargon he talks about,
I would not expect this from him, no.
I guess that's why it's the story then
because people like this guy
that is often holier than thou
or uses that is busted for drinking and driving.
He's definitely a creeper, but he seems like a good person.
It seems like it at least.
Can a creeper be a good person?
I don't know.
I don't think so.
Why is it going to be a creeper?
Because he has children that same age, 21, 22, and it's really weird.
And he was at first freaked out about the age, but then he got over it within a half a second.
Yeah, hi, I hate her.
I don't think, it does feel a bit awkward, 52 and 22.
But I don't feel that everybody should act the same and feel the same about every situation.
This may be one of the ones that actually is true love.
I don't know.
It's weird, but weird is not always wrong.
They could have personalities that mesh.
She could be looking for someone older.
She could be, and he could be, well, he...
He definitely acts younger, though.
Like, he'll send her these, like, 10-page text messages,
and he's almost like a 15-year-old little schoolgirl with this relationship.
Yeah.
And it's just a little weird.
I can't hate the age gap.
Caitlin and I are 11 years.
Yeah.
And that's not the same as 30.
Right.
Well, my psychic cousin I was just hanging out with this weekend.
She's 30 years apart from her husband.
I can't hate.
30 years apart.
How old is she?
He's 70.
What?
She's,
she's my age.
Okay, but she's 40.
So she's an adult.
And I think there's difference in 30 years if you're 40 and 70.
Oh, that's still weird.
But then 22.
No, no, that's better.
She may be even younger, though.
She just got out of high school a few years ago.
So it's just a different mentality of being that young.
Yeah, but let me tell you all, they are madly in love.
I used to think when I went to the wedding, I was like, this is a little weird.
And now that I'm more mature, I'm like, wow, this is so.
cool she found this connection. I agree.
I'm for it. Before he passes away. I'm for it.
It strikes you sometimes. That's 30 years.
Wow. Yeah. But I think the 22 is different because like Amy said, you don't even stop developing until 24.
Yeah. Boom. Come on.
2425. Okay. Thank you, Scoot, Steve.
You're welcome. All right, that's the news.
Those were Bobby's D. Stories.
News Equal Pure Zee's restorative herbal sleep is a melatonin-free sleep aid made with clinically studied plant-based ingredients to help promote better restorative sleep.
Sleep this good, feel this good.
All right what's happening?
Hey, let me play this voicemail for you right here.
This is about yesterday I was like, I heard something go in my chest cavity?
Maybe the day before.
Yeah.
Like my lung has been hurting.
or something in that area
and you guys told me I was crazy
but here's the voicemail
I am a personal trainer
I was listening to your poach show yesterday
and you're talking about how
you felt a popping sensation
in your ribs when you're pushing that sled around
and I just want to say
if it is not resolved itself
by the time you're hearing this message probably
sounds like you probably popped a rib out of place
this is a pretty common
minor injury that happens at the gym
I mean I probably pop her at a place
once you twice a month honestly
but unless you go get it
pop back in by a chiropractor or maybe your doctor,
it's just going to keep getting worse and worse,
and eventually you're not going to be able to breathe
without intense pain.
Wow.
This brode has twice a month.
For sure, bro.
I thought I was going to say, if you know,
if this doesn't get to you before the morning, you might die.
But no, he said, you'll be fine.
Pop to rib out of...
But it's like this, when I breathe,
like that...
Yeah.
That's a...
It starts to poke.
You're making that sound with your mouth.
No, no, but that's me.
It sort of feels like I breathe.
But that seems totally valid.
Thank you.
Like, you should go to the chiroprone.
cracker and see.
Okay.
Does it feel like your rib hurts?
This is what it feels like.
So it was when you were working out like super intense.
Okay.
So is that he,
is that kind of like a low-key flex and he's like,
yeah, I've popped my rib out of the place twice a lot.
I think he called to make himself look good and he looked worse.
Yeah.
So that's the situation.
But it does hurt.
Like whenever,
I know.
And that's worrisome.
Poking, yeah.
So there's that.
I do want to talk.
about dancing for a second.
A good, a good dancing guy.
Would you say it's a very manly man?
No.
Not really.
Like Justin Timberlake?
Yeah, there's one out of many.
But if a guy's just a great dancer, like if you're at a wedding and somebody's out there and just go into town.
Yeah, that's awesome.
Not a manly man, though, Amy.
But, okay.
I won dancing with the stars.
Not a manly man.
Oh, crap.
Okay.
Like that Derek Huff guy, he's on there, right?
He's awesome.
He's not manly.
I disagree.
He's kind of manly.
He's kind of manly.
Yeah, he is.
Super talented, extremely nice guy.
Good looking.
Good looking.
And didn't say he wasn't talented.
Not manly.
A new study finds dancing is good for masculinity.
It helps men better understand their own identity.
Wow.
The research team conducted a survey of men who took part in boys' dance groups growing up
and saw as significantly positive influence.
Interviewees and researchers found that dancing was a good way,
especially at a young age, for boys to express themselves,
and made them feel more positive about their bodies.
Additionally, these dance floor sessions
and gymnastics or music class
help them understand the concept
of being different
or understanding body confidence
and social acceptance.
So dancing makes you more manly
so I felt like I just raised a level in your eyes.
All the guys on the show.
Thinking about it.
Did I rate?
Lunchbox is signing up for dance lessons right now.
I'm looking for a dance video.
How to cha-cha.
Well, some like,
don't they, I don't know,
this is a thing, right?
NFL players take ballet.
There have been a couple of stories
about specific players,
Herschel Walker, for example,
who took ballet for a while for flexibility.
Manly dude.
But I don't think, no,
I don't think you go to a ballet class
and it's a lot of ripped up dudes.
But I'm sure that helps him
like prance on the field.
Again, the word prance is not one that I would use.
When you said prance, that's not manly.
Hershal Walker did not prance.
You can, you have more agility.
I'm not saying that that's not accurate.
I also don't think he did it his whole life.
I think he did it for a season.
Yeah, there you go.
but dancing rock so you guys respect my masculinity and we'll leave it at that thank you very much and
Derek Huff one of the nicest celebrities you'll ever meet I saw him in Las Vegas at our iHeart festival last year
just walking down the hall and I did not want to bother him met him a few times and he saw me and was like
bobby how are you and I was like wow look at you that's cool like you're way famous and you don't have to stop talking to me
good dude good dude
I love my sleep number bed because listen like you I probably don't
I don't sleep as good as I should sometimes, especially before I got my sleep number bed.
You know, but I struggle sometimes with all kinds of thoughts running through my head, but I got a good bed,
and for me, that has been a game changer.
You know, why choose proven quality sleep from sleep number?
Because every great day starts the night before I get this.
If I get a great night's sleep, the show is good.

talking about selfies during the break and there's
a couple, I wouldn't say friends, guys I know,
they send me selfies of themselves.
Doing what?
With their message, nothing, their face.
But it's not like what, look what I'm doing?
No, it's just the face.
It's like a selfie.
It's like a 45-year-old man.
Sending a selfie of his face to me.
That's weird.
And then writing a text and then a message.
I almost never take selfies anymore.
I liked that.
They were easy to do.
But I was ridiculed.
But I was like, guys, I don't have any friends.
this is back in the day.
It's like,
no one's here to take a picture of me.
But I have a couple.
Amy,
what do you think about that?
Like 45. One of these guys is almost 60.
He's like, I think in his upper 50s.
And he just randomly sends me a selfie with a message.
I don't understand it.
It's weird, right?
It's not necessary.
I already know what your face looks like.
You're on the phone.
We're good.
Yeah.
All good.
And if I'm text five times by this one,
four of them have a selfie of their face.
Oh, wow.
Like they're just saying, here I am.
We hope you didn't forget me.
That's what we talked about during the break.
A little behind the scenes there.
I do want to talk about this.
Amy went shopping.
You want to say the store?
Home goods.
Okay.
So it's part of T.J. Max.
When you go to Home Goods, it is, I mean, that store is what it sounds like.
Yeah, I mean, they have everything.
And there's this one section that is dedicated to rugs.
And this couple was there, and they were debating which rug to get.
They had them all laid out.
And I happened to be in that area.
And I was looking for some things.
And I could tell they were arguing over which rugs.
and then they look at me and they're like, hey, can you give us your opinion of which one you like?
And you didn't know them. And you just happened to be in their vicinity.
I don't know them. And clearly, he liked one rug, she liked the other.
Did you know who liked which before you gave your opinion?
No. I mean, but it was clear after I said it.
So they said which do you like and then you look and then what did you do?
I pick out the one. I'm like, oh, if it was me, I think I would go with that one.
And then I could tell she's a little irritated.
And when I walked away, I heard her say to him,
never mind, we can't trash strangers.
Never mind.
And I was like, well, listen.
If you had picked the other one, it would have been,
let's mind.
No, the one I picked was definitely the better rug, so I don't know.
But, you know, people have different taste.
But I did not help settle their argument at all.
That put you into not an awkward situation.
I wouldn't say it's awkward, but that could be a bit uncomfortable.
They're asking you to decide something about their house, right?
Yeah, they don't ask if you don't want to really know.
Yes.
Now, what I hear, too, is I don't like asking.
people to take a picture. I were talking about pictures where this comes around. If Caitlin and I are
somewhere, we want to have a picture taken, I just am so uncomfortable going, hey, would you mind taking
this picture for me? Like, something about me does not want to bother people. And so I'm like,
I'm not going to ask. She's like, and then she'll be like, would you mind? And they never mind.
I don't think I've ever in the history of Caitlin asking had anybody mind. I still refuse to do it.
On the other side of that, if someone asked me to take a picture, I couldn't be happier to do it.
I'm getting angles, I'm down on the knee, I'm flipping the camera, work it, show me sexy.
We're doing all of this.
But I just don't want to bother people.
You know what's something cool that we can start all doing is just if you see someone thinking
about taking a picture or struggling, just go ahead and if you're walking by, say, hey,
do you want me to take that for you?
I actually just grab their phone.
I don't even tell them.
Oh, so don't do that.
Don't do that.
But we had someone, we were trying to take a selfie in Austin on a bridge like last
weekend and this guy walking by was like hey y'all want me to do that for you and we were like
what that's so nice thank you we didn't even have to get awkward and ask he just did it so let's be
more like him let's be those people i love doing it for people because i love when someone does it
for me i just don't want to ask like don't give your opinion about a rogan unless they ask you but
you were asked i was asked and i gave it you did and thank you for that yeah
bobby bone show bone head story of the day this story comes with us from spring hill florida a
41-year-old man was at a bar when he bought some meth and he went home and he's looking at the bag.
He's like, man, this doesn't look like real meth.
So he called 911 and said, listen, I need you guys to come test this to see if it's real meth because I want to know if I got ripped off.
They came, tested it, real meth. He was arrested.
So I wonder if he would have been ripped off, if you wouldn't have gone to jail.
If you call the cops and go, I tried to buy meth, look at it, and they're like, that's not real meth.
They probably can't arrest him because it's not real meth.
That's good point.
Yeah. So he's going to win either way.
There's either real meth.
Interesting.
Maybe intent to purchase.
I don't know that that's a...
I think it is.
That sounds cool.
If you buy fake, nah, that's a bad move.
Buying the meth and then wanting the meth to get tested.
Both bad.
Okay.
I'm Lunchbox. That's your Bonehead Story of the Day.
Hope everybody's having a good day, and thanks for listening to the show.
I was reading a story about a guy who goes in and he's a gunman.
And we don't like gunmen.
No.
any reason whatsoever.
And so it's a sushi restaurant
and this gunman comes in
and well, unluckily for him,
there's a UFC fighter there that takes him down.
And I was just thinking, here's my luck.
I finally decided to go be a gunman.
All of a sudden.
I'm just like, I've been waiting my whole lot
to be a gunman.
I go be a gunman and of all the places
in all the world, there's a UFC fighter
that takes me down.
How disappointing for the gunman.
But how great for us.
You have to make sure you don't see
that color flower ear that they have, you know?
You have to look at everybody's ears?
Yeah.
Make sure they're not fighting.
Think about that.
So the 29-year-old welterweight was at raw sushi in Houston around 11.30 p.m. on Monday when witnesses say someone entered the restaurant fired a gun into the air.
Now, all joking aside, that is scary and awful.
And everybody ducked.
However, one of the guys who rushed at the shooter was this UFC guy who then,
Waka-ta-da.
I love it.
Took him down.
I love that move.
I don't know why I go, man, I finally got the courage to be a gunman and I ran into a UFC guy.
That's what he's thinking.
As he's in jail, which he should be in jail, according to police.
A man near the suspect grabbed the gun and pointed away,
and then Holland jumped and beat him up and held him down until the cops got there.
Great for the people that when there was danger, they ran toward it, not away from it.
Because we need those.
As a matter of fact, I'm not those.
I run and cry.
I would have hit immediately.
I still would be under the table this morning.
Still?
Yeah, right now I would be just, I'm not coming out.
I am a weenie, so I am thankful for people like Kevin Hawkins.
Holland, the UFC fighter, and the other two guys who jumped in to stop this guy, because somebody
could have died there.
All right, we'll see you tomorrow.
Hope you have an awesome day.

Owning a home comes with a lot of things nobody really prepares you for, including yard care.
Sunday is a company trying to make that part easier. They start with a soil test and climate data
to build a yard plan tailor to where you live, then ship everything directly to your door.
No guesswork, no dragging bags of fertilizer.
And instead of harsh chemicals, Sunday uses simple nutrient-dense ingredients like seaweed, molasses, and iron.
Everything hooks up to a hose, which honestly sounds like my speed.
If your yard feels more stressful than satisfying, Sunday's approach makes a lot of sense.
