It's time for the Bobby Bones Post Show.
Here's your host, Bobby Bones.
Leave that in there.
All that, hey, because what was happening was,
Amy was like, dang, look at all the people
requesting for me to endorse them.
That's not what I said.
And I said, hey.
Hey.
It's like chiching over there.
That is not what I said at all.
What did you?
You said, dang Steve.
I don't call Scuba Steve Steve.
I don't either.
It's always Scuba or Scuba Steve.
Yeah.
Well, I'm looking at email and just said.
And he goes, dang.
Dang, Steve.
And I was like, who is Steve?
And she's like, got all these voice requests for it.
What happened was that I guess there was some that were sent yesterday that I didn't get to.
So then it doubled up with ones that are sent to today.
So then it seems like more.
It's not that it's anything.
How many like 400?
And some are national.
It's like just great.
Like, but I don't know what's going to happen.
I can either say yes or no.
Or even if I do say yes, the client might not be like, eh, never mind.
So there's nothing good.
Well, let me say this. I just want to say this about your situation. Hey.
Shut us. Weird. It is nice to be back. Let me explain a little situation that happened to me.
So I go to Las Vegas. Well, we went to Palm Springs, which I mentioned, which I've never been to Palm Springs before. It just sounds fancy.
And pretty fancy. I think a lot of old people live there. It seemed like an older town. Yeah.
Like a retirement town. A lot of money over there. Like that vibe.
I'm sure there's a lot of money over there.
But everything was old.
And we also didn't, we went for a softball tournament.
So it wasn't like...
Our vacationing.
Yeah, we went for...
So we go to Palm Springs
because there is a massive softball tournament over there.
And we watch Utah play,
brother-in-law coaches for Utah.
We watch Oklahoma play.
His mom, who we're obviously close to,
is the head coach at the University of Oklahoma,
who is like, according to some,
the greatest softball coach of all time.
even now, I think she's the greatest
current coach of all time. I think she won
four or five national championships. That's crazy.
So,
and I didn't, I know her as that now,
but when I met her,
I didn't know a whole lot about softball.
So it would be like meeting Nick Saban
as, hey, this is her dad, Nick.
And then after you meet him, you spend time, you realize,
oh, crap, that's Nick, oh, this is what Uncle Nick's done?
That's what I feels like with Patty Gasso.
And when I was talking to her, she was like,
Are you following softball now?
I was like, yes, actually I am a little more,
meaning I'll follow Oklahoma because I know her,
and they're number one and they dominate.
And then I follow Arkansas a bit too.
And so, because we're, I believe, in the top 10 as well.
So we do that, but we had partnered that trip with,
I was doing the keynote for a remax convention
where they bring in like 10,000 people massive.
I don't think I understood the scale of it
until I got there.
I do different speeches
or I'll do stand-up
or I'll do music,
whatever it is for different groups,
and I did the Veterinarians Association of America
in Orlando a couple months ago
and there were like 2,000 people there
and it was a pretty good full theater.
There were seven minimum here
and it was the same room
that we had IHeart Radio Music Festival
in the MGM.
Yeah, the arena.
The arena. It was an arena.
And so they're like, all right,
I went for a rehearsal.
because Eddie and I did a little mini-raging idiot set inside of my hour,
and we got there, and I was like, oh, this is not a conference room.
And so my performance was right after the show on Monday, like 11 a.m.
So I go, which by the way, 11 a.m. there is actually 1 o'clock here, so it's way after the show.
And so I go and I'm doing my, I go out first and I'm doing some little jokes, you know,
like 5, 10 minutes of jokes.
And then I host a couple things, then I do an hour.
we're at the end. And so we do that, we pull it off, wrote a little song about realtors,
like 10 minutes before we went on, played it. Pretty brave of us. But it killed. I'll be honest
with you. It worked. It killed. Like we're sitting in the room writing a little song real quick.
And then we're supposed to leave a couple hours after that and fly home. And so it turns out
something wrong with the plane is broken. Can't fly home. Okay. The next available flight was basically
8 p.m.
It was a Southwest flight from Las Vegas
to Nashville,
a four-hour flight,
two-hour time difference, drive home.
I just wouldn't have been home until 3 o'clock in the morning.
And then to get up at 5.
So we said we will stay in, we're trapped.
Instead of not being able to do the show,
we'll just stay the extra night
and do the show from Las Vegas the next day,
which is what we did.
And then we flew home.
But people were like,
well, just fly home.
Well, there was a flight,
but it was so late,
and I did not feel like I could do the show
for the next couple days
without being exhausted.
So we stayed.
I'm so dry.
It's like...
Oh yeah, because Palm Strings and Vegas
are both dry.
The desert, man.
If there was a music fest inside of my nose,
it'd be called Bougar Fest 2022.
Because it's...
I mean, it was just nonstop.
Yeah, me too.
Gambled a little bit.
Caitlin's not a big gambler at all,
so we played a little bit of craps.
Did you hit up Javier's?
We didn't have reservations.
We did go to True Food Kitchen,
which is where we go every time here.
It really wasn't a vacation.
It was just like a work trip,
and we got stuck for an extra day.
But the Vegas studios are nice.
They've moved them to Old Vegas.
Oh, yeah, Fremont?
It's on Fremont Street.
Really?
But the studios are really nice,
so it worked from there.
I posted that on my Instagram.
And then I checked to see how much an Uber would cost.
You may have seen that on my Instagram story.
And so it was $16,000 to get an Uber from that studio home.
I took them all the way to Nashville.
I wonder if it's still up on my story.
Yeah, 16,000 something.
But they would do it.
All you had to do is double click and then we're going to send a car.
I mean, that's a payday.
I would do that as a driver.
It's up right now.
It's up for two more hours.
Look, if we wanted to Uber Home, $16,878.
Wow.
And then it says double click to pay, but I clicked once.
It did the screenshot.
And Caitlin's like, if you click that.
She's like, you're awfully risky there to click that once.
Yeah, what's the canceling fee on that?
I don't, oh, can you imagine.
Within five minutes.
Oof.
So, but back today, very thankful to be back home.
Everybody at Remax was awesome.
Was able to, we had a little prompter issue where I would be, I wrote a lot of new material
for this, and for some reason the prompter would flip before I was done with the joke.
And I couldn't see the punchline.
So what did you do?
So the first time that happened, I was like, oh crap, something must have happened.
It happened again.
And I was like, well, I got to look at the punchline.
prompter, memorize the whole joke as I'm standing up here again.
So, but the first two times it happened,
were you able to get to the punchline?
I think I kind of remembered when I was writing where my head went,
but I don't think it was as good.
And so the third time it happened, I just aborted mission,
had some jokes that I had saved up anyway,
went way ahead,
and went to Eddie and I quicker, did some raging idiot stuff.
But it was kind of a cluster,
and that it wasn't exactly how I had it planned.
Dang.
But it went okay.
decent on my feet
did a little motivational talk
and then we were out of there
but it was good
it was good
probably probably gonna go
sell some houses now
a lot
I think if I can remember
I think I wrote the lyrics
to our song down
let me see
come on
I got a buddy right
we're 10 minutes from going on
and I've got my guitar
and I'm just going
ching ching ching ching ching ching ching ching ching ching chink
What inspired doing this last minute
we were just trying to find something specific
There were 7000 realtors out there
And I had some jokes
Do you want to hear my realtors joke?
Probably's like, oh, this is a bigger deal than I thought I was probably.
Well, I knew it was a big deal.
I thought they were significantly overpaying me, if I'm being honest.
And I was like, wow, they're paying, because this was a nice chunk.
They're paying me this to keynote this.
And, okay, wow, seems like the economic times must be working out for them pretty good.
And then I get there and I see how mad.
The two performers were me and Zach Brown on two different days.
And I just thought they were, but then I got there and I was like, well, this is pretty mad.
And I'd spend a lot of time getting my act together,
but then I was like, I need to feed them some specific stuff.
Okay.
Do you want to hear some jokes for these?
Yeah.
Okay.
I did, I've used the same realtor here in town.
I've moved a bunch.
I did a punch card joke that they thought was pretty funny.
I don't remember it exactly.
I was like, if you guys had punch cards for houses, like it, I don't remember it.
I don't remember that.
Like a punch card like you punch in?
No, no, no.
Like at 7-11.
Yeah, that's what it is.
Yeah.
That's funny.
I did a punch.
Yeah.
got a pretty good response to that one
they also had these badges
that like the longer you've been in you were like the big
lanyard on your neck, laniered whatever's called, and you get
like different things like when you graduate college you get
more ribbons or whatever like badges
ranks and so they all had it on and I knew they all had to be like
well I'm wearing a lanyard this thing's huge
and that compared it to like the sandwich board the guy that wears a sandwich
board on the Vegas trip like hey you want free girls
or whatever it is coming to your room
you don't see those guys
I don't know they're on the street
Vegas okay I'll give you some other jokes
here.
My favorite was the
web-MD one.
Well, and
Mike D helped me
write these too.
Let's see.
I wanted to be a real estate agent
at one point in my life.
I always dreamed to have a profession
that you could put your face
on a giant billboard
and not be labeled as a narcissist.
And there you've got a good laugh
out of that.
Because I had just done this whole thing
about my realtor here in town
and his face is on the billboard.
Everywhere.
Gary Ashton.
And then his slogan is
don't sell without the intel
and I think I said,
but I think,
Something like their slogan is,
um,
want a house.
We'll drive about,
but something,
something,
we're all out.
I don't remember,
but it's like there are no more houses left or,
uh,
let's see.
Here's the one that they kind of reacted,
not in a negative way,
but they went,
ooh,
like almost booed me.
One of my new hobbies I have with my wife
is to drive around
and look at the most expensive homes
back in Tennessee.
I'm just fascinated with the amount of money
that people spent on houses.
I mean,
we all do this,
right?
Somebody gives you their address.
if you're going to pick up
something or pick someone up
you Google
see how much
the house is worth.
If anyone I know
it gives me their address
I look it up on Zillow
and as soon as I said Zillow
they were like
ooh
and I said
should I not have said
the Z word?
Is it true
realtors hate Zillow?
Is Zillow to you
what WebMD is to doctors?
And then the guy came out
that the CEO
was like yep
you're now working
volunteer basis
because you brought up Zillow
but it's a pretty good
little event
I was trying to find a song
but
I guess I didn't
write it down Eddie
it's like a guy
I got a friend who sells houses.
Every day.
He's got so much money.
He doesn't know what to say.
He doesn't know what to say.
It's an open plan, pull in the back.
It's in a neighborhood where they don't sell crack.
And they laughed.
And something like that.
It's only 900 square feet.
But big as how it feels.
You can get this palace for only 500 square feet.
It's a joke about how, I don't know.
It was better.
Yeah, trust me.
It's a disaster.
We're reading this all back.
But it's good.
We had a good time.
We're back home.
Super thankful.
I got in last night, and here we are.
So that's been my last couple of days.
We were in Vegas.
We went shopping.
There was nothing to do.
I don't want to just gamble.
She doesn't like gambling.
So I gambled a little bit.
And then we went and walked around.
Got blisters on our feet because we didn't bring shoes to walk or clothes.
I was wearing the same clothes for like three days in a row.
Did a little bit of shopping.
And everything in Vegas seems a little more expensive in the shops.
Oh, yeah.
Everything.
So.
food.
I felt true food was pretty right on, though.
Was it?
It's here.
That's where we went to the same place
as we go here.
We tried to make it as much like home as possible.
Okay, let's do this.
There is a lottery winner
who had won this lottery contest
and you can buy a ticket on the internet.
And then they're like, you won.
And she didn't see it.
So they started trying to call her because she put her phone number in.
They kept calling her over and over,
but she thought it was spam.
And so she never answered.
Oh, no.
And so, Mike, we hand me that story, please?
This woman dods the lottery's phone calls for days,
which I think I would do too.
If I don't know the number, I don't answer it.
And then a lot of times, right now I'm not the case,
but a lot of times I leave my voicemail full
so nobody can leave a voicemail.
So you just wouldn't know.
A woman found out she had won a jackpot of $70,000
and she kept avoiding the calls because she thought it was a scam.
Wow.
She eventually got it.
That's from MediaCenter.com, $72,580.
Wow.
But for a long time she ignored the call.
I wonder how many calls it took to finally be like,
all right, fine, I'll get it.
Well, I'm glad I picked this up.
Yeah.
Wine would take a lot.
Yeah, me too.
I was thinking about that.
I ignore.
Maybe if it were two in a row from the same number within like 30 seconds.
That's usually my wife.
That's probably something.
That's usually my wife borrowing the phone from somebody.
Yeah.
An off-duty police officer in Las Vegas.
Robbed a casino at gunpoint early Sunday.
He's since been suspended from the force.
Oh.
What's he going on?
Spended.
Why, you think that would be
like an expulsion?
He must need it some money fast.
An off-duty police officer in Vegas
is accused of robbing a casino.
He's a member of the Las Vegas
Metropolitan Police Department since 2015.
Charged with burglary with a firearm,
assault with a deadly weapon,
a two counts of robbery with a deadly weapon.
Responding officers contacted security
and identified the suspect as an off-duty officer.
He'll be placed on suspension.
They're going to do an investigation.
It does not say what the
casino was, though.
That's from NBC and News.
news. There was another story where
in a casino, somebody went in and shot fireworks
in the casino and distracted everybody so they
could steal all the
chips. Chips from the tables? And they grabbed chips.
Somebody shot fireworks and the other guys grabbed chips.
That's like Ocean's 11 stuff right there.
Well, Ocean's 11.
Yeah. A little more sophisticated than that.
Ocean's 11 was, yes.
Yeah, and it's not real either.
The wife of
Jim Beheim, the coach at Syracuse, was robbed at gunpoint.
What?
I don't know if you saw that story.
No, that's scary.
Yeah, being Rodo gunpoint sucks.
I've been there.
Was she targeted specifically, or does she have something nice on her?
She was sitting at a car about 2 p.m.
When a minor approached her and started a conversation,
a short time after, cops said the boy pointed the gun at her.
Oh, a minor.
I thought you meant like a mile.
A coal minor with a lamp on his head.
Like a young boy.
Yeah, no.
Yeah, I'm talking about that, a young boy.
A minor.
I know.
I know, but I pictured lunch pail head helmet.
Yeah, exactly.
I was like, wait.
Ma'am, you seen a mine around here?
The boy then ran off with the person
fled the scene with two accomplices in a car.
That's from TMZ.
Luckily, she was not injured.
It does not sound like it was targeted.
No, it doesn't sound like it.
Yeah, so it's random.
And 2 p.m.
It happened to be her.
Straight daytime.
Yikes.
A drunk traveler screams,
You want a show at the Orlando airport.
Well, that's not good.
We had talked about this in a different situation
at an airport.
But here's another one for you.
A man caught,
a man caused a scene at Orlando International Airport
and admitted he had had a couple drinks
he can be seen in a video
yelling profanities at the gate
and he started screaming, don't touch me,
you want a show, I'll give you a blinking show.
Here we go.
And the show he gave them was the show of him being tased.
I mean, that's not a bad show.
I like that show better.
That sounds like a fun show.
I like the show where the person that's obnoxious gets tased.
Where's all the clapping?
I feel like everybody would be like,
yeah.
I don't want to see anybody get tased.
Boy, the tasers
tough to see.
But you know they're not going to get hurt,
so it's kind of like...
Hurt? Yes. Injured, no.
Yes.
It hurts. Correct. It does hurt.
Let's see.
There was a...
And I was going to get to this, and we didn't,
but there was a woman
who got pregnant while already pregnant.
A mother gives birth to two baby girls
who can see five days apart, and they're not twins.
They're not... They're not twins.
She... Two... two...
Egg? How does this happen?
Two...
Something in her. There's two of.
I didn't think this was possible.
Yeah. So she's from California.
She conceived two daughters in five days.
She got pregnant with baby number two while expecting baby number one.
They were born August 10th.
They look alike because they're siblings.
They're not twins.
They were the result of a rare occurrence called super feditation when a second egg is released and fertilized during the first pregnancy.
Wild.
There's a story about one of my friends in their hometown.
A woman had two kids.
kids at once by two different dads.
Same situation-ish.
The second egg was fertilized, but she was doing it with a different dude.
The two babies came out and one was a different race.
Crazy.
Two twins?
Are they bored?
So you do like give birth and then you wait for the other one to be ready?
No, I think they came out at the same time.
And they're like twins.
I mean, days apart.
Yeah, well, I know.
But sometimes one baby might be ready yet.
If they're not, I don't know, I'm just, I don't know, I've never been in this predicament.
be good at medical school.
This is just weird to me.
We'd never be good at medical school.
See?
And that's why.
I don't even know the doctors know what to expect when something like that happens.
But the woman had to then admit that she cheated on her guy.
Kind of obvious.
But she had two babies.
It wasn't that she had a baby and the baby came out and was like, oh, this is not your baby.
One came out and was.
And the guy's like, oh, I'm a dad.
We're having, and now the twins.
Because they didn't know that happened.
They just knew she had two babies, twins, twins.
And it wasn't twins.
The baby came out a different race.
Wow.
That's not so.
A medical student has a Bluetooth device surgically implanted into their ear to cheat on an exam.
Whoa, that is a dedication.
But medical student, I'm not wanting you cheating.
I need you to know your info.
But don't you like some with the ingenuity?
No.
No, okay.
Never mind.
After being admitted in a medical college 11 years ago and failing the final exam,
multiple times. It sounds like SpongeBob, doesn't it? He just can't get his driver's license.
A student finally resorted to cheating by having a Bluetooth device surgically implanted into his ear.
You may ask how to get busted. How to get busted?
A member of the control team frisked the student and found a mobile phone in the inner pocket of his pants.
The phone was switched on and connected to the Bluetooth. The team did not find a Bluetooth device on the student.
While being questioned, they're like your phone's on. They confessed. They had an E&T surgeon.
they put a fitted skin colored
a microbe, I don't know.
What in the world?
Did he have to read the question quietly out loud
so that someone on the other end would hear it
and then feed him the answer?
That just seems...
All that work you just study, man.
I think he did.
Well, then he's not meant to be a doctor.
Tell him.
Sometimes we just have to accept the facts.
This pearl story, is this the update on how much it was worth?
This is the clan pearl?
Yeah.
Or is this the same story?
update.
Yeah, because we talked about this.
They went to Red Lobster.
Yeah.
Or they went to, and there was a pearl in it.
The lobster house.
And they got a plan.
It is Lobster house.
I just assume it all with Red Lobster.
Yeah, no.
Yeah.
The claim's now worth $100,000.
Wow.
And they talked about how they weren't going to sell it because it meant so much to them.
Yeah, it's like a special memorabilia from the occasion.
No, no, you sell that pearl.
Yeah.
For that much money, you sell it.
Yeah.
So I said, you get a fake one to commemorate and you get a big one.
That's right.
And you write the date on it.
And you commemorate.
commemorate it. Yes. And then you get the money.
It's like when you catch a big fish, like you...
Yeah, take some of that money and buy a pearl necklace.
And for your wife and be like, remember, we'll always have this necklace.
Did you guys see the green puppy that was born?
No.
The rare green puppy? I slipped through my Instagram and I saw them holding up a...
And I thought they'd colored it because there's some sort of paints that aren't bad for dogs.
I don't paint my dog.
Was it TikTok?
No, I saw it on Instagram. But yeah, I mean, basically the same thing.
Gotta be real then.
Oh, it's so cute. It looks like mint chocolate chip.
A couple whose three-year-old bulldog gave birth to a litter of eight puppies says one of them is green.
They googled, my puppy is green, what's wrong?
And it's very rare, and it's happened a few times all over the world.
The rare discoloration is believed to be caused by light-colored puppies coming into contact with green pigments from bile while in the womb.
It's from UPI.com.
So is it permanently green?
I think it fades a bit.
Okay.
That's fade a bit.
You know what I learned, too?
The peppers, because I like to get them when I go to sushi place.
places.
They're not peppercini's.
The kind that they're on a stick and you eat them and some of them are hot and some
are.
They're called shoshitos.
Shashito peppers.
Ever have those?
No, I don't think so.
You don't order shishito peppers at places?
Shishito.
Shishito.
I hate peppers, but I like shishito peppers.
And I like banana peppers.
Oh yeah, I don't eat those.
Are they grilled?
They're good?
They can be, yeah.
They're good, but like one out of ten is hot.
That's what they say.
Like one out of ten is really hot.
I never knew why.
Well, I guess I'm talking to a,
I like few here, but it's because those are the ones the sun hits directly.
And they are hot.
There's no indicator?
No, you never know.
Yeah, that's what it says.
Shishitos are small mild peppers from Japan.
Their flavor is sweet and slightly smoky, not spicy.
But careful, one in ten Shishito peppers will be hot.
Because the sun is shining right on that group of peppers.
I'm shocked that you take that risk.
They're not so, so hot.
It's a fun game.
Bobby looks to play.
Indiana Jones 5 is officially wrapped shooting.
Come on.
Who's Indiana Jones?
Harrison Ford.
No, come on.
He's 79.
Yeah, he can't be.
What is it?
This is from slashfilm.com.
Shooting is rap for Indiana Jones 5.
The fifth installment follows 2008's Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.
It took years to film a fifth version.
The movie is scheduled for June 30th, 2023.
Harrison Ford's 79 years old.
Be 80 when it's released.
He was 39 when it first came out.
I've never seen an Indiana Jones.
What?
Oh, bones, they're so good.
I don't think I've seen a full movie, but gosh, he's been doing that role for 40 years.
Are they good?
Yeah, the first one's really good.
Really?
Yeah.
They're exciting, man.
It's like national, you know, like National Treasury?
You ever seen those?
Yeah.
It's like that, but cooler.
I don't know, Nick Cage is.
There's a plant-based food company that's offering their pet owners over $6,000 to smell their dog's poop for two months.
Oh.
Just to see, like, what it's like after they eat the plant-based food.
They're offering to pay dog owners more than $6,000 to smell their pets poop for two months.
Participating pet parents have to be willing to change their dogs to a plant-based diet and keep track of how the switch affects their pets poop.
The offer is only available to pet parents over the age of 18 with dogs who aren't currently on plant-based diets but are open to switching.
I mean, I could do that.
I mean, I could too, but oof, that sounds terrible.
I saw that in People magazine.
I didn't do that when I clean out the cat box.
But you have to be like...
Yeah, I do that when I do that when I do that.
change the kid's diaper.
Yeah.
It's not fun.
No, I do now.
You do it.
You just write down the odor.
Didn't you say you never changed your other kid's diapers?
Never?
Ever?
No, no, no.
My biological kids?
Never.
No, and I did.
Like, I would say a total like five or ten times.
That's crazy.
A 48-year-old woman in New Jersey's been indicted for punching an ER doctor.
She'd come in with a migraine and claimed she'd been struck by lightning.
I would imagine if you get hit by lightning.
You probably have a migraine.
For a while.
Shelly Webb came in to the hospital complaining of a migraine headache and said, hey, I've been struck by lightning.
She then became belligerent, and when the doctor attempted to examine her head, she lunged forward and punched him.
She's been indicted for aggravated assault. It's from daily voice.com.
I would say if she was really struck by lightning and then she acted out of that, she probably shouldn't be penalized.
That's what she's so proud. Yes. Now, now if struck by lightning means meth, which I don't know that it does.
I'm just saying if there's a substance involved that made her think that's a different story.
But I think if someone is struck by lightning and they're so messed up and they just start swinging because they're, I don't know.
Electroly wise.
They should put her in the big house.
You know anyone that's been struck by lightning?
Humans?
Yeah, like a friend or anyone, a friend of a friend?
You?
There was a guy that I worked with, a news photographer who was out in a field and the lightning hit about 20 to 30.
yards away from him. He didn't die, but he had cuts, like coming out of his fingers.
But it didn't hit him, but it hit that close and it still messed him up. That close. It messed up
like his fingers and some, he had just weird cuts in his body where like, I guess the electricity
kind of went through his body a little bit. Crazy. I mean, the stories that people who do get hit
by it and live, like how does that, how, how? I mean, a kid when I was young, she lived in my
neighborhood. I don't think it happened when she lived in my neighborhood before she moved to
Austin. She was playing in a tree. And the lightning
went through her and like outer foot.
But how do you live whenever such a charge goes through you?
I don't know.
I don't know because she was a kid.
So, so little.
A warehouse manager steals $1 million worth of COVID-19 tests from employer.
I mean, the value on these tests are about to go way down.
Listen, and I have so many right now and they're about to expire.
And I'm like, wait, what?
I just got them.
According to the San Anna Police, they sent an estimated value of $1 million of
COVID test to his house for multiple warehouses.
He has not been caught at the time.
He's been accused of stealing more than $1 million.
with the COVID tests.
You're saying he's late to the game though?
Yeah.
He took the risk a little too late.
Yeah, from CBSNews.com.
Yeah.
Now he's like,
Greg, what do I do all these COVID tests?
Because that, you know,
the last variant was so easily caught by folks.
Yeah.
And so many people had it that a lot of people are good to go.
Like, you can't get it again.
So, and it was less extreme than like the Delta.
So it was kind of a big,
dip into the COVID pool for everybody.
And so now, not as people are getting it,
that it's kind of going away-ish,
because if so many people can't get it again,
it can't replicate if it runs into a wall, basically.
Thank goodness.
Yeah.
So, yeah, I mean, I'm sure there's still a market
for these COVID tests, but probably 20 cents on the dollar.
All right.
Hey, Ray, how long has this one been?
22.
No, that's it.
I was reading some...
25?
Oh, I just went up.
I got to say is that's it and it goes up.
Wow.
Wow, that's it right?
I was reading some feedback from listeners about if they like it, we're splitting the podcast
up.
And it's probably 40-60 unlike.
There are a lot of people that are like, I love it because I can get it earlier.
I don't have to wait for that first half for the West Coast to get the whole thing.
And then some are like, well, I like to listen to the whole thing and I have to like go to a
different file.
And that is true.
And we understand the, I understand the income.
of that. And some
woman ripped me a new one online
and was like, we can't
believe you're putting this into two files.
I remember the good old days when it was one file.
And I was like, man,
it's been two files for a long time because the post show was
an extra file. She was like, oh yeah.
Point bones. No, not even point.
So now is it two files and then post shows three.
Yes, three old files. So you get the first half.
Well, I remember the good old days and it was two.
I remember the good ones when it was one.
I remember buying white TV.
I remember we didn't even have a podcast.
Well, I don't know.
We've been doing it for a long time.
I know, but I was talking about the good all days.
Way back.
I was country for country was cool.
I guess, what was I going to say here?
Oh, yeah.
When we used to do the post show on the actual show podcast,
people would complain they wouldn't get it even an hour later
because we were busy doing the post show.
We wouldn't put the post show up.
And the whole thing until the post show was over.
So it'd be like noon.
One o'clock.
It was the post show pre-show.
Because we couldn't put it.
So we're just trying to find a healthy way for everybody to be able to experience the show.
And we hope you still like the show and listen to the show.
And we appreciate you.
All right.
I think that's going to be it for this.
My voice is a little not fried from anything other than dry air for four or five days.
I'm recovering too.
That'll do it.
And it's in good shape.
And I made sure to get enough sleep and drink a lot of water, didn't yell a lot.
But still being out there for a few days, I can start to feel now it's starting to wear it a little bit.
Even when you roll the dice, you're like, yes.
You hit a big one?
Yes.
I didn't hit any big ones?
No, I know.
I walked away.
You weren't doing too good.
Oh, I'll tell you what Eddie did.
No, no, no, no.
This is so stupid.
No, it's not stupid.
You guys act like words affect the dice.
No, no, no, no.
And I think Lunchbox will probably agree with me.
Of course he's going to agree with you.
No, no, no.
It's not that words affect the dice,
but there are superstitions you don't do at football games on the table.
We're sitting there, and I'm playing crafts,
and Eddie's standing beside me, and Caitlin's standing there.
I'm with Caitlin.
And Eddie, Eddie goes out and I'm rolling.
and I'm rolling pretty good.
Making a little bit of money.
And Eddie goes,
Katelyn says what's going on here?
And I say, hey, he's on a roll.
Eddie goes, yeah, loud.
He's on a roll.
Next one, loser.
And they all look at me, Amy.
Even the guy working the table looked at Eddie
and couldn't believe he said that out loud.
The dealer goes, oh, yeah.
Lunchbox, is Eddie in the wrong for saying out loud?
Oh, he's on a roll right now.
Eddie, you never say that.
You never say, oh, he's hot.
Or if they're playing blackjack,
you know, when someone walks up, how's you doing?
He hadn't lost a hand in ten hands.
It's just terrible juju for the whole table.
Eddie, you're completely in the wrong.
It's like our buddy Mike when we were that one time
and I was betting and he walked up and grabbed my shoulder and he goes,
I don't like that bet, man, and it lost.
Well, he tried to warn you.
You could have whispered in her ear.
You could have said, and then later on Eddie's like,
well, he just doesn't want to roll a seven.
Oh, gosh.
And then it hit a seven.
Lost again.
The dealer was like, that guy needs to go.
The dealer, who they called the guy at the table,
told Eddie, he said,
hey, there's a call for you at the pay phone, sir.
Just trying to get Eddie out of there.
Because I wasn't going to give him money, Amy.
No, because the two times you said something.
It's because you were ruining the table.
Oh, and the dealer cares if you win or lose.
Got it, yeah, got it.
Yes, because when you win, you tip.
That's true.
There was no one there.
Or you bet for them.
There was no one there.
That's why he really wanted Bobby there.
He's like, I get away so Bobby can stay.
Keep staying.
Eddie, you know you did wrong.
It's ridiculous.
I love how people can't just admit, like, it's just a stupid dice.
This game is set up for you to lose.
Do you have superstition about watching games?
football games? No. None. Never. None. No. Don't lie.
Okay, I have a t-shirt that I wear. Okay. It doesn't mean, it's not actually going to affect anything.
But if you don't have the t-shirt and you lose, or you're like, dang, I said, I didn't wear the t-shirt.
No. Okay. I don't. Because I know the truth. Bull crap. All right. So it was my words that made the dice fall a certain way.
Okay. Well, then, gosh, man. I hope it, there's no rain for the rest of the week.
It doesn't work like that. Well, good. I looked at the weather and there's no rain. All right, we're done. Thank you guys. Have a great.
We will see you tomorrow.
All right.
