It's time for the Bobby Bones Post Show.
Here's your host, Bobby Bones.
I played the Grand Ole Opry last night.
I did some comedy.
I actually wrote a joke on the way there
when I did it immediately,
which is very scary because I didn't even write it down.
Would you like to hear the joke?
Yes.
Okay, it's a little clumsy, but it's pretty good,
considering I was a little scared to go out
and go immediately with a joke.
Here you go.
Today it was announced that, and this is very cool,
I want to say this here.
First time I've got to talk about it, really.
The University of Arkansas is giving me a doctorate,
an honorary doctorate, and I'm very excited about that.
Thank you.
And I want to be fully prepared for this.
So today, I went to Target and I bought Operation.
Game.
Because June 14th, when they tell me you're officially a doctor,
I want to be able to get that pencil out of there with,
and here's the deal I'll make you all tonight.
If you have a ticket to the grand robbery tonight,
half off your first surgery, if you come to me.
Again, I think it drives my wife crazy.
She doesn't say that.
She's super supportive.
But she went to grad school, major university, and was first in her class when she got her master's degree.
And the fact that I'm coming along now, I'm like, oh, the doctor.
Please call me Dr.
I think it low-key drives her crazy.
And I've been thinking of other things that I can do.
For example, I now understand I'm never going to wear a student tie again.
I'm going to wear a suit with a stethoscope.
because I'm a doctor.
It's going to be awesome.
So June 14th is that day.
I go, I give a speech,
and then after that,
I'm going to prescribe pills to everybody.
It's going to be awesome.
So there you go.
That's a quick little bit.
The laughter was heavy.
Well, it's probably recorded in the house.
I mean, that's why the audio is not so good,
so he was literally in the middle of the laughing.
Oh.
So, you know, who cares?
I like the operation joke.
That's really funny.
I was afraid people wouldn't understand what that was.
But the pencil thing is really funny in Zapp.
And it, yeah, you already didn't say.
The pencil?
I'd also said the day was wrong.
We know it's May 14.
Yeah.
Oh, you did.
I didn't write it down.
I didn't catch that.
I just had to free ball in it.
Don't you normally write stuff on your wrist or something or your hand?
Only orders if I don't know which way I'm going to go.
But I walked out and I was like, oh man, I don't write this down.
Should I just try it?
The problem is it's being broadcast nationally.
And I'm like, yeah, who cares?
What's going to happen?
So, that was just one little, one little deal.
Monday I'll get to announce when I'm doing a,
some shows, the first two shows will be announced here in town,
but they're going to be motivational comedy shows.
So it'll be stand-up and also motivational speaking
and how they're going to intertwine with each other.
And it's not going to be corny,
but it's different than anything I've ever seen,
so there's a chance that it could fail miserably.
But I think it'll be good.
No, don't say that.
It'll be good. It'll be pretty good.
It'll be pretty good.
So that was the Opry last night.
Let's see.
Where else should I go?
because I've got so much here.
How about a truck was left stranded on a bridge in Tennessee,
and when officers investigated,
they found hundreds of pounds of marijuana inside.
A 54 woman has been charged,
she told officers she left it because it ran out of gas.
You know what I think about when I hear those stories?
Somebody's in trouble.
Like, whoever.
She's going to jail.
No, no, it's not that.
It's somebody's stuff, and they paid her to get it.
Yeah, that's money.
All kinds of anger people.
I worry about that.
A sheriff in Indiana got a special bravery award
Ever being attacked by a squirrel
It was also...
Is that like kind of also embarrassing?
You can't really help if you get attacked.
Right.
I know, but like...
If a squirrel wanted to attack you, there's nothing you can do.
They're quick.
So what happened?
Well, and it included that the award...
A bronze squirrel was on the award.
Stop it.
Yeah, here's a clip of the attack.
Oh my God!
Nothing you can do about that.
No.
So his body cam picked it up.
And they always look like they have really sharp nails too.
Squirrels are cute.
They come to my bird feeder and I love them.
An American man goes on a sperm donation tour of Europe.
Gross.
Just donating?
Plans to father 55 children.
Why is that gross if it's actually helping people have kids?
Yeah.
Like I wonder why that's gross.
Why don't know why gross comes out of you?
Well, because I don't know.
I didn't know if this headline had double meeting of like he's just going around in Europe making babies.
Well, it could.
I just wonder.
You think the process is gross?
I'm just wondering what you attach to.
Sperm donation at a bank are having a lot of sex with women.
I thought that was a trick headline.
Maybe it is.
Let's read and see.
Okay.
An American man who's a serial sperm donor has revealed he will soon be a father of 55 children
after traveling across the UK and Europe to impregnate women.
Wow.
Kyle Gordy 30 has already made six donations to women in the UK and Europe on what he has dubbed his donation tour.
He's already the father of 46 children with nine more on the way.
couples choose him because of his educational background and personality.
He manages a group chat dedicated to the mothers' children so all the mothers get together.
But this is concerning.
If he's making that many babies, some of them are going to be born and they're going to end up dating each other.
You think, the millions of people, but the 50 of them.
No, no chance.
All over the world.
No, he's already got 49.
He's going to make 55 more, so that's at least 100.
There are billions of people.
And if he's impregnating people in similar neighborhoods.
No, no, not 55 more, Amy.
Like, it'll be a total of 55.
Like it's not...
Oh, I thought it's 55 more.
No, no, no.
Okay, well.
Well, that's fine then with her.
Okay, well, as long as he...
Okay, but even if it's 100.
He should geographically space them out.
Johnny Depp testifies, and Eddie watched all of it.
Oh, I did.
For hours.
I watched two hours yesterday.
Here is...
Eddie's so busy.
It's crazy.
It's crazy.
So it's Amber Hurd and Johnny Depp.
He said that she was too good to be true when they met in 2009.
On the set of the Rum Diary,
they talked about arguments.
He said he never hit her.
opened up about his drug abuse.
Amber has accused Johnny of abusing her
while he admitted that they'd argued,
but he has never had a woman in his life.
But never did I myself reach the point of striking misheard in any way,
nor have I ever struck any woman in my life.
Why did you watch it for so long?
Listen to him.
It's so intriguing.
You have this movie star who we've watched in so many movies since.
sitting there in a suit in court testifying and he takes hours to say things.
And I don't know his background.
Like, I don't know if he's just full American, but he talks in this weird British hybrid
accent.
Yeah, where's he from?
It feels like we're watching him be a character.
Kentucky?
It's crazy.
Him and Matt Jones talk just alike.
That's like that housewife like Doree.
She's from New Jersey, but she sounds like she's from, I don't know, like London.
Well, Johnny Christopher Depp, the second, known as Johnny Depp, is an American actor.
He is from Owensboro, Kentucky.
That's crazy.
And he does these weird, like, smiles as he's talking.
Like, you just kind of, I don't, I mean, I expect he's just been an actor for so long that he's always kind of acting in a weird way.
I was just intrigued with the whole thing.
And the stories he were saying were pretty crazy.
Were you watching the whole, well, I don't think they have the verdict yet.
No, no.
It's not like a TV show.
Oh, okay.
Oh, I don't know.
Amy turned it up.
She's like, well, what was the end?
It was over.
There were so many questions just about like, so when Pirates of the Caribbean came out, like, what did she think about the movie?
And he goes, I never watched him.
I was like, that's crazy.
He's never watched the single Pirates of the Caribbean.
And he laughs in the courtroom's like, oh, that's pretty funny.
But there are a lot of questions like that, day-to-day stuff about Johnny Depp.
But do you have an opinion on?
I don't know anything about it.
And did you dial in it?
You watched two hours.
But you watched two hours out of your busy schedule.
Have you ever seen court TV guys?
They don't just say, did you do it?
They're literally like, how many times do you go to the bathroom, Johnny?
Oh, I don't know, four or five times.
But I don't think he's on trial.
I don't think he's on trial.
He is suing Amber Hurd for defamation.
That's what it's all about, right?
So it's not if he's guilty.
It's if he's going to win money from her.
Well, and if I was dedicating two hours of my life to watching it, I would Google something.
I'd at least have my opinion.
Yeah.
What's the play?
I watch a whole movie, like on Netflix.
I don't finish two hours going like, I don't even know what I was about.
I was just more intrigued about him.
Like, he talks about like doing it.
drugs. What were you doing for two hours?
Watching him on the computer while I was folding clothes.
Oh, now he was falling in the phone. Guys,
I fold clothes every... For two hours?
Two hours of clothes? Thank you. Yes, it's brutal.
I don't know about two hours. I do two hours. Why don't I do it twice a week?
Okay, well, you fold as slow as Johnny talks.
Yeah, he talks so slow.
And, bones, he'll pause for like 10 seconds and not say anything.
And then come on, be like, oh, what was the question?
It's crazy.
In the necklight, he was like, I, myself, me, we...
Yes.
A listener, Dawn, thinks that Amy should be punished for a spoiler.
Last week, she was talking about the We Crash Show, and she said the amount of money.
He said she spoiled it.
Other listeners jumped in also noting, they get nervous when Amy reviews anything because she often spoils them without realizing it.
I didn't spoil anything.
So are we ruling it, and Amy can't review a show anymore?
I can too.
She can only say the rating and nothing about it.
I think that's how she has to do it.
Because you did say a number.
on that and I had no idea how much money they had
made or lost.
It's in the news though.
But that doesn't matter about the news
because even on
watching winning time, the basketball,
HBO Max,
I was like, something happens.
It's the thing, it's news, but I don't want to say it because it's a
twist in the episode and you guys, we talked about
and you got to like say it. So then I said it
but it was in the news.
Okay. All right. Oh, speaking of winning time,
did you see Jerry West came out?
He's like, take it back.
What is he?
Retraction.
Give me a retraction.
Which one's Jerry West?
Which character?
The coach, the crazy coach.
The one that wasn't.
The was and then quit.
Spoiler.
That's a spoiler.
That is a spoiler.
Oh, my gosh.
Stop.
What did he?
He's still alive?
Yeah, Amy, you can't talk about it.
He's all now.
And he came out and what does he want to retract?
That he's crazy.
Oh.
He doesn't think the character represents him.
What I have heard.
That he would, oh.
What I have heard from folks,
you click into that mic if you don't mind,
is that he was very much like that and is not anymore.
But that's okay.
And this is just hearsay.
I don't even know if it's true.
It's just people going, hey, I've had a experience or two with him.
Basketball legend Jerry West has demanded an apology and retraction over his portrayal in the HBO show winning time.
The rise is the Lakers Dynasty,
Dignesty alleging a baseless and malicious assault on his character in the series.
Yeah, so no, it is like he's suing.
Well, I think they have two weeks that he gave him to apologize,
and then I think they're going to take further action.
If I'm the show, I'm loving this press.
Yeah, for sure.
And I'd be like, yeah, hey, we're sorry, man, we messed up.
You've got to think it's weird to watch someone or people just try to predict what you were like or re-create what you were like back in the day.
And they are also exaggerating everything just a little bit for TV purposes.
And also making stuff up based on what they know happened.
So they have to create scenarios to get, like they have to create B to get to C.
Like, they know A.
They know C, but they know C.
but they don't know kind of exactly how it was made in the kitchen.
So they have to create that and that's making it up.
Yeah.
And that's with everything.
West attorney asked for retraction no later than two weeks after the letter was received.
They said that their client is also doing an apology and damages from the network
because the series seeks to criticize West rather than highlighting his accomplishments.
Kareem Abdul-Jabbar has come out and said that show is very boring.
That's funny.
I like it.
I haven't watched this week's yet.
I haven't either.
But it's probably my favorite new show right now.
but I don't know if it's only because I'm a sports fan or not.
Has Magic Johnson made a comment?
Like, does he care?
I don't know.
Is he behind it at all?
I don't think so.
I mean, honestly.
He has his own series of...
About his past?
Oh, so he's not involved at all, is what your point?
But does he say anything about it?
Where's Cookie?
What about Cookie?
Does she have a comment?
Let's see, what else?
Ramundo got some really interesting news about our building.
and us moving, we have to move.
We have to move to the studio.
We have to move to another building.
But really, when?
Well, because we've been told this for years.
Ray, what do you know?
I have all the answers that none of us have.
I was talking to a sales lady, and she just gave it to me straight.
So apparently everybody's cleared out of this building at the end of May.
So we're talking a little less than a month.
They're already clearing out their desk and stuff, except for us.
We have until the very end of the year.
The year.
We have the end of the year.
Right.
But on December 31st, we out.
Oh, cool.
Yeah, this building, no more will be ours.
Only radio people, like the on-air people will be in this building
and all the other staff is moving already.
Great.
We don't see anybody.
We don't see anybody.
And it's always funny when I see people like,
I see Bobby work all the time.
No, you don't.
Nobody see.
We have our own part of the building.
No one is literally down here.
So it's going to be the same to us.
So then on December 31st, like after Christmas break, where do we go?
To the new building.
It'll be ready.
We just float away.
No, I mean, they're going to make us move over without it being ready.
Hopefully they're able to build this our place while we're here,
and they don't have to take our exact stuff.
Scoobah, what do you think about that?
Yeah, I mean, there's been a lot of different talks of having to repurpose
some of these things and all that.
And I've also heard March of next year because they were thinking it's been different,
you know how it is with construction.
There's always a time they want to hit.
But I don't think it'll be, I think it'll be next year.
Hey, whatever.
Yeah.
All good to me.
So you're saying Ray is clickbait?
No, Ray's not clickbait.
I mean, there's information that's...
I didn't know that.
So, Ray, that's news to me.
That ain't clickbait at all.
I had no idea.
I don't know if I can reveal this.
I was told that...
I like that he goes, I don't know if I can reveal it, but he tells it.
I love that, but go ahead.
The whole thing started, not because it's a bad building.
It's fine.
It's sick, actually, but we were given a price we couldn't refuse.
But we don't own the building.
Oh.
So somebody was given a price.
Yeah.
We don't own the building.
The company isn't on the building, right?
I think the company owns this, yeah.
You do think the company owns it?
I think they bought this a long time ago.
Wow.
Oh, really?
Good job, buddy.
There are very few clusters that own their buildings.
San Francisco.
one, this one, I think Tampa, Baltimore, a few, and they've all been selling theirs off.
Oh, good for us.
See, I thought we were going to move, there was a couple years ago, we were going to move down by
the river.
I went to a building, but then we said we didn't want to get in the real estate business,
so do we really own this building as the question?
We supposed to be talking about any of this?
Who cares?
This would have been a long time ago.
Is any of this stuff?
Who cares?
Okay.
Hey, not my chili.
Eat beans.
Okay.
Hey, Ray, would you like to talk about something that's sensitive?
Ray lost a sponsorship
because of something he said on the air.
Do you guys want to guess what it is?
Somebody came and dropped him as a client.
Oh.
Oh, yeah.
Well, don't say anything yet.
Yeah.
Do you guys?
I have a guess.
I know.
Oh, go ahead.
If you don't know, if you're only guessing.
I don't know, I'm guessing.
Go ahead.
Is it his gambling one?
Because he talked about how he had to meet with a gambling therapist.
It has to be.
Yeah.
They felt maybe there were other reasons as well.
They just didn't feel like it was great that I was talking about.
about seeing a therapist because gambling, my urges to gambling, maybe were a little bit more
severe than I had thought. And then I'm also reading commercials saying, come on, let's go to
this gambling site. So we've decided to part ways in like the next week. But I mean, I didn't
really decide to part ways. But that's what I'm supposed to say. Right. Yeah. Which, by the way,
I think, listen, I think it's super healthy that Ray did that actually. Yeah. And if anyone has a
problem, there are a lot of numbers to call. There are things that you can do. Yeah, I mean, because
it is a serious thing. It's an addiction. Personally, I love it. And I'm fine.
Fine. I can limit it and I'm good and it's fun for me. I don't do it for to make money. I do it for entertainment.
But Ray, I'm sorry, that's happened, buddy. And I did in the commercials. I loved saying,
free money! Because I had a deposit bonus, but I can't do that anymore.
You cannot say that anymore?
Well, I mean, once a commercials end, nobody wants me to cares if I say it.
Maybe you should put that in it. Go take it to another commercial.
Oh. I don't, it doesn't have to make sense. They're like, I'm here for Jones furniture.
Free money!
Let's see. What else we got here?
You want to play the game?
Did they grow up rich or are they self-made?
Yes.
Sounds fun.
We got about five minutes left here because I got to get...
Or we can give away some money.
We can do both.
Let's play the game.
Let's play the game.
Do we have the game?
Oh, Morgan has it.
Okay, let's go.
Bring it, Morgan.
How many of you got there?
Oh, I mean, as many as you want, I have like over 10, so...
Over 10?
How many do you literally have?
One, two, three, one.
Thirteen.
13.
Let's go, all of them.

He tried to get us once.
He's like, I grew up more.
Then we went to his neighborhood.
Amy was like, you lived here?
How many rooms are in there?
Worst mistake he ever made was taking us through his neighborhood.
Do you guys want to play?
for money?
Yes.
How much are $20?
When would we ever say no?
$80.
Well, I don't know.
I don't know, rich boy.
You don't need the money.
Because your trust fund has plenty.
Yep.
I don't know what a trust fund is.
Ready, guys.
They haven't told you yet.
What do we do different last time?
You let me.
Oh, you gamble.
That's what we're going to do.
No, no, no, no, no.
No, no.
No, no.
No.
It was the original spin, and then we had a choice to do it.
We should get one free spin, though.
Okay.
And you take a number?
Just like Vegas.
That makes the odds worse for me then.
We're not worried about you.
86.
Okay.
Mike.
61.
67.
Lunchbox.
Yep.
47.
4.
No.
I said.

I said 41, bones.

74.
Hold on.
65.
You got a hundred-sided dice here.
If it lands on the number, you win the hundred bucks.
Ray?

Oh.
I saw the three.
Scoobba Steve?
What?

The answer is 25.
So here's what I'm going to do.
If you want in for a dollar, I'm going to do them all at once.
So who wants in for a dollar?
I got to do one.
And buy you a spin.
One dollar.
Let's let me know.
Anybody that wants in?
I'm going to spin it?
Nobody?
Only Eddie?
I'll do it.
Morgan's in.
There you go.
Scuba's in.
You can use Venmo if you want.
But you guys, all three of you're in, you're all.
playing this one dice.
All right.
Eddie?
Yeah, 21.
Oh, hold on.
Let me spend it first.
All right, let me change my number.
You can.
21.
Okay.
Eddie?
21.
Morgan.
Oh, it's on that spin.
I thought we're doing an individual.
No, because I'm taking more money on one spin.
One in?
So I don't have to do it all show because I got to, we got an Eric Church.
Yeah, I'm in.
23.
Morgan?
53.
47.
The number is eight.
Please pay me $1.
$1.
Go. Who wants another round?
Me. I'm done.
I'll do it.
Scooby in?
I only have a dollar increments. I only have a dollar.
Okay, so it's just you two.
Okay, hands are up. Eddie?
21. Morgan?
87.
16.
All right, I'm done.
I'm out.
I'll do one more.
All right, she's hooked.
Free money!
I kind of hope she wins.
That would be hilarious.
That would suck.
He's got a great counselor.
Morgan?
16.
21.
Do it again.
No.
21?
Are you lying?
I don't want to get addicted to this feeling.
Wow, it was 21.
Oh.
No, I'm out.
Stop looking at me.
I'm out.
That's crazy.
I'm done.
I know, dude.
I know.
That sucks.
That's like lunchbox not winning the lottery after he picked his numbers.
Well, that's why he doesn't pick the same number over and over.
He would kill himself.
Because he would end it.
I would.
then.
Yeah.
That's happened lots of times in Vegas.
That's crazy.
But we're like, should we do one more?
No, we're done.
21.
Oh, my gosh.
Okay, so pay me up.
Three bucks, Morgan.
Eddie, two.
Steve one?
Lunchbox one?
One.
All right.
Anybody want one final shot?
No.
No.
I'm about to go see a show.
Cirque to Soleil.
Hey.
Not addicted to this.
For $15,
up against 100,
all you got to do is pick the 10 category.
It's in.
No.
The 10's 20, 30, 30.
for $15
for $100
bucks, up against $100.
You just got to pick
the category of 10.
One in 10 shot, Eddie.
I know, it's 1 in 10.
I do like those
those bets.
I'd do it if I had your wallet.
No, I'm good.
I'll let,
anytime Mike can come look at the ball.
You can stand here the whole time
for every time, but.
You got the money?
No, no, I know.
$15.
She says, you've got the money.
Who wants a 1 and 10?
No?
I'm good.
I got to be responsible.
What would you have picked,
though, Eddie?
I got kids.
Well, 21, of course.
So you pick two?
Yeah.
Two.
The number would have been 25.
Here.
Here.
I believe you.
I believe you.
That's two rolls in a row you'd have won, dude.
You had won back to back.
You should try and now you should go in.
I would have won what, 85?
100.
That's ridiculous.
But it's okay.
I mean, you could sit at the casino all day and be like, oh, man, I would have put 21 on that.
You won a more shot?
Are you good?
No, no, I'm good.
All right.
That's it for today.
Thank you, everybody. We'll see you tomorrow.
