Bobby Bones. What's happening, everybody? Pretty pumped that I got to post on socials today that I'm hosting that New Year's Eve show on CBS. I've downplayed it a bit, but it is a big deal. I'm pumped. I mean, CBS has hired me to be the guy on their network to do New Year's Eve for the first time.

So it is up. You can see the story on my Instagram, Mr. Bobby Bones, and pretty excited about that. It's a big deal, right? Yeah, no, I mean, I think it's going to be cool. I always feel like the people I see on New Year's Eve hosting things, they're like big deals. Well, it's Ryan. It's Steve Harvey. Ryan, Ryan, Seacrest, it's Steve Harvey.

So, you know, obviously I'm not there. But it's pretty cool that CBS is like, hey, here are the keys to the castle, have it the first time we're doing it. So I'm pumped about getting to announce that earlier on the show if you missed that or if you missed it on the radio show. So there's one part of it. Ryan was in town. Ryan Seacrest was in town. They were shooting some of the American Idol auditions in Nashville. And he was like, hey, can you hook me up with your trainer?

And so I sent him over to title boxing and Jared, who's my friend and my trainer. And Ryan worked out with him like four or five days. And then Ryan shouted him out on Kelly and Ryan, which was pretty funny. Yeah. He was like, hey, I was working out title boxing. Shout out Jared. And I wouldn't have said anything about Ryan's business except he shouted it out on his own show. But I thought it was super cool. I text Jared. I was like, hey, man, can you train somebody to 11 tomorrow? And he's like, yeah, let me check. I said, hey, it's Ryan Crest. He's like, what? I was like, yeah, can you tech? Can you train? And he's like, yeah, I can do it. But then Ryan liked him so much. They worked out like four or five times in a row. You shouldn't have told him, bones. You should just let Ryan show up and be like, what? Well, I thought about not telling him, but I also wanted him to do it because I thought that would be cool for him too. And if he was like, oh, that's tomorrow. You know, it's hard for me to get back over there in time.

But I felt like he'd be motivated to get back over there for the Seacrest because Ryan's a nice guy. But I thought it was cool that Ryan shouted him out on Ryan and Kelly. Let's see. Squid Game is decisively Netflix's number one show of all time with 1.65 billion hours streamed in the first four weeks. Now that means nothing to me is the 1.65 billion hour stream because I don't know really, you know, the group they're sampling or the group they're using. But the fact that it's their biggest show of all time, that says something to me because they have them listed out.

Number one, Squid Game, All-Time, Squid Game. Number two, Bridgerton with half of what Squid Game has done. So Squid Game's not even just like 10% bigger. It doubles up the second biggest show of all time. Money Heist, Part 4 is third. I didn't watch any money. Did anyone watch money heist? Mm-mm.

I mean, so far, I haven't really. I've watched a little bit of Bridgeton. Huh. Stranger Things 3 is at 4. The Witcher is at 5. The 2 13 reasons why are at 6 and 7. Maid is at 8. And you, season 2, and you season 3, are at 9 and 10.

Wow. So those are the biggest shows of all time. But just back to Squid Game, Amy, you haven't watched Squid Game. No, I've watched 1.5. Half episodes. And Eddie makes it all sound like you're missing out, right? I mean, dude, this is one of the best shows ever. Like, I still think about this show and I watched it, what, three weeks ago?

I was done three or four weeks ago. So yes, it's so good. You need to watch it. Okay, I will. I'll do it. I mean, now I finally got sold. It's hard. Is it an hour each episode?

Yeah, some are like 51 minutes. Some are like hour six. I think if you've withheld this long, you don't have to watch it. No, I want to be a part of the biggest show ever. Eddie said it was the best show ever. Well, but Bones, she... Well, I said it was the best show ever

as soon as it came out and I watched it. You guys didn't give a crap about that? Yeah, that's when I watched an episode and a half. Go ahead, Eddie. Well, I just think she needs to go one more episode and then you won't stop. Like, you will stay up like till 2 in the morning, come in here dead because you can't stop watching it.

Yeah, because the first episode's kind of just setting what's going on. It's a little bit boring. The second episode's pretty good, but by the time you get into that third one, you're just like, Okay. Well, but now that y'all are both all the way totally through with it,

I know at the beginning you said it's okay for my daughter to watch it with me. And she did watch the first episode and a half. Like, can she watch the entire season? It's up to you. I don't think it's for every 12-year-old, but I think if you have a mature kid who can watch some violent stuff and not go out and do the violent stuff or not have nightmares, then I think it's okay.

But I would say for most kids, no. Okay. For your daughter, TBD. She's a pretty smart kid. TBD, yeah. I know. It's crazy that she's, she's gonna be 15 soon. It's crazy. Netflix has put out a website because I've mentioned this too. I thought Netflix's top tens on their app. I thought it was them just cherry picking shows, putting them up there. So we'd go, oh, it's number seven.

I should watch it. It's good. And they've kind of finally admitted to that, that it's like, yeah, maybe we've been flubbing it a little bit to get people to watch shows. But Netflix is now introducing a new top 10 website for the shows that are already. literally the biggest. So the website is top 10.netflix.com. Mike, you saw this story. So what exactly is happening here? Basically once a week, they're putting out all the shows that people are watching the most by hours. So it's not by views how much people are actually watching each show. Even if you just watch it for one minute, two minute, it all goes to the total. So, but they were counting a view as to like 15 minutes of a show or something? Something like that, yeah. But this is going to be a more legit list. More legit. So even people are like investing in Netflix shows, they can see like,

this is what people are actually watching. What do you mean investing in Netflix shows? So, like, people who want to produce new Netflix shows, they're like, okay, are people actually going to watch this? How much money should we put into it? So that's kind of what they're using it. I saw that three snow leopards died from COVID-19 at the Nebraska Zoo. What?

Leopards got COVID and died, yeah. How? Why did that make you want to cry? I mean, it's sad, yes, but I felt like extra, extra sadness from you right there. Well, I have sadness just to be clear, if you were to tell me three humans passed away from it too, I would have equal sadness.

But I think that was also mixed with shock because I guess I didn't know. And if we've talked about it before, I didn't remember that animals have died from COVID. And doesn't make a leopard like that much cooler, sweet or nice or that they're a snow leopard for some reason? Like you feel like they're also cold. Like other leopards, I feel like they're in the jungle.

And I fact they're warm, they're killing it. But a snow leopard, I hate being cold. So I just feel like a little more sad for snow leopards because they're having to live in the cold environment. I mean, yeah. But not at the Nebraska Zoo, obviously. They're not cold there. I also love all kinds of cats right now, big, small, whatever.

Yeah, you are one or two moves away from being a cat lady for sure. Carol Baskin. When you, and I'll get to a Carol Baskin story that reminds me of that, but I was going to talk about you adopted your cat, right? Well, I mean, depends on how you want to look at it, but no. I don't know what that means. Like, what? We had a job.

That was got a shady sounding. I don't know what that means. I don't know. No, what? No, no, no. We rescued and adopted our dog. So that counters the fact that we found the cat we wanted and got it from a cat breeder. Got it.

Okay. So. Which is not, I prefer to adopt, don't shop. But in this particular case. Oh, I don't care. I'm not going to go you. I know, but other people do. And I'm about to get added on all kinds of places.

So just. No, you're not. I'm adding you. Okay. No, you're not. All good. You had some friends that were trying to adopt a dog and they were having to go through a crazy adoption process. Yeah, and this was, yeah, I feel like certain breeders might be this way, but this was an adoption situation. And the people that were in charge of adopting the dog out, like we're putting people through a rigorous process to get this dog. They did phone calls, three different phone calls to get like a character reference from people on what kind of household this dog.

dog would be going to. And then not only that, they did. Like Eddie and I, I adopted kids. Eddie has foster kids that he's now adopted. And there's something called a home study where people come into your home every year and go through a checklist to make sure you're equipped to be a parent. And they did a home study for this dog. And I was like, wow. I mean, good for them. Like, I think it's awesome. You do want to make sure that whoever's adopting the dog is legit. But I just had never heard of such a thing. Seems a bit intense for a dog when you're just trying to get the dog at home. Yeah, crazy.

It did feel shady when I brought up the cat with Amy. I'll be honest with you. I don't think anybody cares really because you talked about on the air how you tried to get a cat and that person was like, no, we can't give you this cat. Remember you paid for it? It's not new. I know, I know. We may have new listeners.

And then even with me, I guess I just justify it. It doesn't feel right. It's not ideal. I know there's so many pets out there that need a home. But this cat is perfect and I love her. And I'm so glad we got lucky and found her. Good. We found her in California, and then we...

I love it. Love it. Carol Baskin, which you brought her up, believes her missing husband Don Lewis crashed a plane in the Gulf of Mexico. Oh. She says he wasn't licensed to fly, but he did anyway, so he had to sneak his flights, so there wouldn't have been any records. Convenient. Carol Baskin did an AMA chat on Reddit, ask me anything, and someone asked the question, what happened to Carol's missing husband, Dawn, and she answered it. Her theory, he crashed a plane in the Gulf of Mexico.

He had to fly under 200 feet to stay off the radar, and he would do that. He would typically fly out over the Gulf because the air is smoother there, whereas over land, there are up and downs that will crash you at that height. Since phone records indicated he was planning to go to Texas, and his van was found at a small private air strip, and we have never found dawn or wreckage, she said, this is the most likely scenario. And there you have it.

Tiger King 2 came out on Netflix. Today? Or last Wednesday? Today? Tonight. There are only five episodes. So, Tiger King, too, anybody going to watch it? No, probably not.

No, I mean, I already have to watch Squid Games. Hey, has anybody watched? This story sounds, but this story sounds pretty, I believe this story a little bit. Come on. You guys don't? No. It can happen?

Yeah, she has that whole made up. That's why she parked the van there. That's why she did it all. She has the whole thing set up. This one sounds kind of believable, if I'm being honest with you. If he did sneak flights like that, and then you wouldn't find that plane,

in the ocean, but she did have a long time to come up with the story, too. That's a pretty good one. Amy, what were you saying? Oh, I don't know. Just since we were talking about Netflix and top shows, I didn't know if anybody took my recommendation and watched Love Hard, the Christmas movie. Oh, no, I haven't checked that out yet.

I keep thinking that's a Dewey Cox story. Walk Hard? Yeah, Love Hard. No, I did see it on Netflix, though, on the front page. When I was watching Manifest, I saw Love Hard pop up as a show I should watch, but I did not watch it now. George Clooney recalls having his first kids at, I think he was 56.

Is that right? When he had his first kid? I mean, the question I get the most is, when are you going to have kids? And it's like, everybody chill out. I'll let you know one day when it's appropriate to let you know. But I told this story to Caitlin

and she was like, you ain't waiting to 56. And I was like, yeah, I know. I don't want to 56, but that's tough, right? 56 having your first kid? I mean, if you're a guy, I don't know that 56, it probably is fine at the moment. depending on how old at the moment yes but then you know then you're talking when they graduate high school you're 86 74 that's a little much George Clooney said he never intended to be a

husband or a father that all changed when he met his wife they've been married for a year they decided to try to have a baby and they ended up having twins in 2017 he was 56 years old and they had twins I mean here he is on the mark marron podcast talking about how they decided to have kids and she'd never thought about it really and then she said so we we're off lucky in life. And I said, yeah, we are. We're lucky we found each other. Yes. And she said, it seems like that luck should be shared with some other, you know, folks. And I thought about it for, I don't know, maybe a minute. And then I just said, well, I mean, if you're in, and she said, I think we should try. And he's happy. And that's awesome. David Letterman had kids late, too,

really late. I don't want to wait that long, obviously, nor does, you know, nor would I, I feel like it'd be the best thing for me to be 100 and be at the kids high school graduation. What are we going to say, Amy? Oh, I think it's just to say, like, wow, George is, like, he's doing what you want. He had kids. I mean, twins. Oh, I would love to have twins in his call today. Yeah.

I don't know that Caitlin wants to have twins because apparently, from what I'm reading, twins makes your belly bigger. You would think, yeah. Yes, she'll be walking around with two babies inside and sort of one. Uh-huh, uh-huh, uh-huh. Apparently, a word on, rumor is what they say. That twins make your belly bigger. Americans are targets of 30 scams a month when you combine text, email, and phone calls. I get emails with dumb links.

Ray got one recently. They said he won the lottery, right? Is this right? Ray, that was you? Yeah, this guy won $768 million, and then he put a bunch of different numbers in a machine, and he said it randomized my number, and I was picked out of like a total of 200 people he wants to share $50,000 each with, and I was one of those people. But I just have to text him back.

Okay. Text. Text that. Well, I was given another number, and it's his friend Arnold, and I text him, and he said that gets the process going, and Arnold will deliver me my $50,000. Do you think you'll get that before you get your Trump money? Ah. I don't know. I mean, both are very questionable at this point. You're not getting your Trump money now, right, in your mind? I mean, I've come to the – I'm fine with it. I mean, I paid off my debt with my wife. She took control of the finances. I mean, I'm not worried, like, terrified. Oh, my gosh, I need that money.

But it comes to – you won $50,000. Correct. And it still hasn't come to you. It's been five years. You're understanding now that you got jipped. Not officially jipped. There's stuff they're still looking into.

I have people on my side. But yeah, as of right now, I'm jipped. But it's been five years. If they were on your side, it could do something, don't you think they would have done it? Because they would take their part of it. It's tough. I believe the betting site was in Nicaragua.

So it's international waters. Waters. And that's why you won't get your money? Interesting. It's tough. There's a lot of jurisdictions type stuff. Okay. You're just saying words at this point. What about just the 1,000 that he bet?

Like, can you at least get that back? Well, and that's the thing. It's through cryptocurrency, so it wouldn't even be that exact 1,000. They pay out. It's not a, they don't cut checks. They send it through crypto. Okay. Well, Ray also was in Mexico for a wedding.

How'd that go? Oh, it was epic. To fly something, whatever we did, as quick as it was, and to be at a tropical wedding, it was like, it was, dope. Yeah, I'm glad they decided to do it in Mexico, even though we had to do what? You're also wearing pearls right now? Yeah, I mean, inspired by you and then inspired by the locals. Everybody in Mexico is rocking the pearls. I don't know if it's because some of these baseball players are doing it now, but they got me. It was like, 800 pesos. I talked him down. I was like,

oh, screw it. I'm going to America with pearls, man. I'm a pearl guy. You can pull it off. I know. I can. I was around town all the time. Yes. He can pull it off. Ray can pull it off. The subway tuna war continues. Now they're claiming there's all kinds of different meats in the tuna, not just not tuna at all, but there are all this other DNA inside of it. Have you guys seen this?

Yeah, like chicken, pork. Wait, but what if you're a pescatarian and you think you're, it means you don't eat meat, you're vegetarian, but you allow fish in your diet? And what if they think they're having tuna? And now they've been having meat this whole time? Apparently out of the 20 samples acquired from various subway locations throughout Southern California, marine biologists found, quote, no detectable tuna DNA sequences.

But they found DNA of pork, DNA of cattle, DNA of chicken. Oh, boy. Hey, at least it's meat. At least you're not getting some complete chemical makeup there. I feel pretty good about that. So, Ray, did you spend your tuna gift card yet? No, I need to. And I guess now at the subway stores, they even,

have a sign that says we have real tuna so i guess maybe no legal stuff can happen to them anymore 44% of americans plan to cancel at least one subscription streaming service over the next six months what's your worst streaming service amy that you pay for if you had to cut one oh that be so hard i i i rely on all of them i need them all i definitely have to keep hulu because that's how i watch anything. Like, I have no live TV. That's my live TV. Um, or I have no cable. What would I cut? I mean, my kids watch too much Disney. I love HBO Max. Um, Apple. Oh, no, I can't play this game. I can't. No, what, what, what would I get rid of? What, what, what would it, what would it be Netflix now? I don't, I don't know. I probably watch Netflix the least now, which is crazy because that used to be my number one go-to.

What about you? So you're going on Netflix? I mean, it feels wrong, but if I have to make a choice. I mean, if I have to make a choice, it's probably Disney Plus, even though I'm on it. Yeah, you don't have kids yet. Yeah, because Disney Plus is, yeah, is very much a lot of kids programming

and Marvel programming. I do like the Marvel stuff, and they're about to come out with the Hawkeye series, right? That looks pretty good because I've liked all the other series. But I'd probably get rid of Disney Plus. I thought about it being Paramount Plus because I have that now, but it has local CBS on Paramount Plus,

and I can watch NFL games on my phone, which you can't really do anywhere else. I figured it out. I know the one I would get rid of. I'm keeping Netflix, and I'm canceling Amazon Prime Video. Oh. The good thing about Amazon Prime Video

is that if you don't have a service, they usually have that show that you can buy just in case, you know? But here's the thing. I wouldn't cancel that because I like Amazon. Prime, the service. So do I. Oh, wait. It's part of Amazon, not even the video. Like the service. Oh, well, never mind. I go back. Netflix is gone. And I don't want to play this game. Morgan's the one who had given me the story. Morgan, which one are you cutting? Oh, definitely Paramount Plus. I mean, I don't ever use it. I think I bought it for one show.

And ever since I just don't even touch it. So it would be Paramount Plus. Yeah, Paramount Plus for the shows, I don't really care for that much. But college football, and the NFL CBS, I get to watch on that live channel. I have a VPN that I go, and you can not watch anybody's local, which is awesome. So it's like you can act like you're in Atlanta, and you can watch the Atlanta CBS. Oh, that's cool.

I think that's against the rules. I think it's against the law. But you can watch what, like, if I want to watch a local game and watch the Falcons, if I have a fantasy football guy, I can actually hit it and watch that. So, which is pretty cool. You, Eddie, which one are you leaving?

I think I'd have to go with a peacock, because I got the peacock for Yellowstone, didn't really care for Yellowstone. And basically, I can watch any NBC stuff on Hulu. Like, Hulu is the one where I can watch... Hulu is ABC. No, but I mean, even Saturday Live stuff's on Hulu. Like, anything is on Hulu.

Like, man, I don't know why, but I get every sports game imaginable on Hulu. And I'm like, I shouldn't be getting all this, and I just pay the regular rate. So I would get rid of the PICO? Yeah, Hulu Live. Okay, you have extra good Hulu then. I don't have Hulu live. I have Hulu. not Hulu Live.

Man, you want to see like a Sam Houston State versus Creighton? Like, they're showing it, and I have it for some reason. That to me is ESPN Plus. ESPN Plus shows me all of that, which is the same as Hulu because they're both ABC Disney. Yeah. But I like Peacock because that's the office,

and I watch The Office all the time. Yeah, exactly. Defend that. And I feel like Office, what else is that on? That's it. No, dang. Maybe I get Peacock back then. I know.

Yeah, it's only on Peacock. Can't get rid of that. Lunchbox you? That I actually pay for? It would have to be Hulu because that's the one I pay for. So I would have to do that. The rest you're stealing? I borrow.

Yeah, like my in-laws pay for Netflix. My cousin pays for Disney. Yeah, so I only pay for Hulu. All right. I think we're going to call it here today. Ray, how long has this one been? 20. Okay.
