Starting point is 00:03:18 What's up, everybody? Welcome to Wednesday show. Morning studio. Morning. So they're in a restaurant and his baby is screaming at the table next to them. So this man confronts them all. And so here's the debate. The baby's screaming.
Starting point is 00:03:31 I'm going to play you first because she posted the argument between them. Trigger warning, there's a screaming baby. Okay, here you go. So this gentleman here is telling me to tell my eight months old. So stop screaming because he has sensitive ears. I know it's loud, but he's an adult. He can leave, and he chooses not to leave. He's choosing me to tell me to take my baby out.
Starting point is 00:03:56 She's a child. Do anything. That's a blood-curdling scream, man. It's not just a crying baby. That's a dog. Like a dog, oh, that's a high-pitch cream. Okay, okay, okay. So, here's the man coming over and saying,
Starting point is 00:04:13 hey, your kid needs to be quiet. You're causing this whole restaurant after our discussion. They don't want to eat that. You came to me about my child. Did you not? No, you're disrespectful. You're entitled and you're being privileged right now. I'm not responsible for the way that men have probably mischievous.
Starting point is 00:04:30 Me and I'm on. Okay. Oh my God. So, I may be wrong on this. And you can go after me. That baby's too loud. If that baby's doing that, you don't have the right to penalize everybody else in the restaurant who are also trying to have a night. Take your baby out for a little bit.
Starting point is 00:04:51 it calms down. Like, that's how I feel. And I think he's just the one who had the guts enough to go up to her because I can guarantee you everybody in that restaurant is going, oh my God, this baby is making our whole experience terrible. I feel like you don't have a right to come in and ruin everybody else's experience. You can take the baby outside for a little bit until it calms down. That is what I feel, the responsibility of a parent what the baby is.
Starting point is 00:05:16 And I say to this guy, I don't know the whole story, except what I've seen online, everybody else wanted to do what you did, they didn't have the guys to do it. So I applaud you. Now, that's my, that's me, you. Yeah, no, I would hope she would take it outside. I don't know that I'm going to be the one to say something to her. However, I would just hope that people have the the awareness that they need to take their child outside. Yeah, you don't have the right to ruin everybody else's dinner. Right. I understand a crying baby, that sucks. And if the baby's crying and it's crying a little bit. You know, that's, you have a baby. Awesome. Yeah, and that's, that's a like, that's impacting every. That's not, it's not just for people with
Starting point is 00:05:54 sensitive ears. Yes. Yes. Everybody. Yes. Eddie. Yeah, look, it's a numbers game, right? Like you said, everyone in the restaurants being affected by this, it's unfortunate because sometimes when you have a baby, you want to go out to eat and you're able, like, you're allowed to go out to eat too with your kids, but that's a scream. It's too loud. You got to get that baby out of there. It's maybe just crying a little and it's slightly annoying sometimes. Nature are going to a public place. Sometimes people are going to be loud. That thing's like in a horror movie.
Starting point is 00:06:24 Screaming. Yeah. Lunchbox. Oh, that lady's in the wrong. You got to, anytime the baby's crying, you take it outside. So we're universal. Yeah. I mean, you have to.
Starting point is 00:06:33 Yeah, and I'm not sure. I, again, I don't know what he said to her off camera before she started filming, but how does that make him privileged? It doesn't. No, like entitled. I think he, like you said, he's simply. asking what a lot of people in the restaurant wanted to ask, which a manager would likely go and ask the same thing soon if that man hadn't.
Starting point is 00:06:55 I don't know they would have. Really? Because they didn't. Yeah, where's the restaurant? I agree. That loud. The restaurant sucked for not going up and going, hey, you're running everybody else's experience. I mean, if you really wanted to be funny,
Starting point is 00:07:09 you could have just that neckturned and screamed at her. Oh, gosh. Like, that's the ultimate. We all four randomly all agree on everything. But yeah, I think this is, it's okay for baby cries a little bit. That sucks, but that's okay. Oh. But there's a point wherever you are, restaurant, church, doesn't matter.
Starting point is 00:07:27 The only time you can't escape is if you're 30,000 feet. That, everybody just has to put up with it and you figure out how to soothe your baby and people just have to give grace and compassion. In a restaurant, you are fully able to get up and go outside. I got a DM from somebody named Jamie Dotley. She says, OMG, your take on that. kid crying, screaming is hilarious. And I can't wait for it to happen to you. You're so gross. And Amy has never had a baby. So maybe she needs to hush too. Imagine an adult crying louder
Starting point is 00:07:59 than a kid, LMAO. Now let me tell you what happened. Earlier in the show, we were talking about a minor dispute in a restaurant. Wasn't my dispute. It was in the news. And there's audio of the kids screaming in the restaurant, to which I said a kid crying, NBD. That happens all the time. But if I have a baby and it is screaming as loud as this baby is in this clip, I'm going to go outside with the baby. Let's call this screeching. I'm going to say now, even before my unborn child is born, that if the baby is screaming like this, I am going to have respect for other customers and go, oh, until this is a bit better, I'm going to get them out of this room. I don't think that's a bold take. No, not at all.
Starting point is 00:08:45 So here's the clip again. Go ahead. So this gentleman here is telling me to tell my eight months old to stop screaming. Because he has sensitive ears. I know it's loud, but he's an adult. He can leave. And he chooses not to leave. He's choosing me to tell me to take my baby out.
Starting point is 00:09:02 Because he has sensitive to me. She's a child. Do anything. No, I get it. It sucks for everybody. I'm not saying it in second for the mom. It's second for the kid, obviously. But everybody in that restaurant,
Starting point is 00:09:16 is hearing a screeching, screaming baby. And I don't disagree with a person. And you know what? It took nads to go say something because I don't think I would have. Oh yeah, I definitely wouldn't. I'd have just been like, somebody please do it. But no, I'm telling you, if that's happening
Starting point is 00:09:34 and the kids out loud, I'm walking it outside. Out of respect for everybody else in the restaurant. Eddie? Look, I have kids. I have four kids. And this is annoying. Clarify that you've had babies, though, because clearly that's a prerequisite.
Starting point is 00:09:47 Yeah, yeah, yeah, I've had babies. And I've been in that situation and it was tough. I remember one time my wife and I, we hadn't gone to a restaurant in like forever. And we had a newborn. And we're like, let's just go to Chili's. We're going to do it. And we went to Chili's and he started crying loud. And we ordered and we're like, it's okay, it's okay.
Starting point is 00:10:05 Didn't look like anyone was bothered by it. After like 15 minutes, people started getting bothered by it. We're like, let's just go. Take it to go. And we left. And the crying, that feels a bit different than that. That is a roller coaster screen. I don't feel like I'm being some crazy, you know, bold take anti-baby person by saying there's a level that everybody just understands and lets it go.
Starting point is 00:10:29 And is it a bit uncomfortable? Yeah. But then there's that. I think it's the parents' responsibility to take that kid outside until that doesn't happen anymore. That's all. Sorry you haven't had a baby. Yeah, I know. I was like, well, thanks for reminding me.
Starting point is 00:10:41 I wasn't able to get pregnant. So you can't talk. Wow. tried for years and adopted older children after the fact. You know, I was close at one point. They got you. You were close. What do you mean?
Starting point is 00:10:53 Well, there was a couple times we thought maybe I was pregnant. Remember? And then we were doing a domestic adoption with a baby. And we were this close to getting matched with a pregnant mom. And she had chosen us like she liked our profile, but then ended up falling through. And then that's when we moved to international older kids from Haiti. No, I know. You said it like you were close to having.
Starting point is 00:11:13 Yeah. That was. That's pretty close to having a baby. No, no, like being pregnant. Yeah. But I mean, I was, yes. And we would have had like a newborn baby because we were originally doing a domestic newborn adoption. And that had been different because you would have had a newborn.
Starting point is 00:11:27 And then I would have had experience with screaming. I'm going to talk about this. Yes. Granger in Arkansas is on the phone right now. Online one related to the Mark Sanchez story. Granger, you're on. What's going on? Hey, good morning, guys.
Starting point is 00:11:40 Morning. Hey, I am calling, yeah, about the Mark Sanchez thing. I actually had a story kind of like that, obviously not near as intense as his, but when I was in college, I was not a huge partier, but would go out occasionally and had a night where I definitely had one too many and woke up the next day in a jail sale and remember absolutely nothing. I was arrested for public in talks. and have no clue what happened that night. Now that I cannot speak to at all. That's because I've never been drunk, nor do I think I will be drunk.
Starting point is 00:12:18 Like, I will be having a baby. So I don't want to have it when I'm drunk. Yeah, to me, that's a crazy and a feeling I don't understand of waking up and not remembering what you did and you could have done some bad stuff. Well, I mean, he was in jail, but like why? Public intacts. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:12:32 I know, but what? Acting a fool. Did you pee on public? Yeah, what'd you do? Do I chair off at bars? No, I was told I. I threw up in the cop car, actually. So, but yeah, Dixon Street got the best of me.
Starting point is 00:12:45 So you threw up in a cop car, but you were already arrested. Yeah. No, yeah. I don't know what I did before. I mean, my friend said I was super friendly. I was just outside of, I guess, a fraternity house, and they picked me up. Well, I was, I believe I was 20 at the 8th time, so I was under 8. Minor. Yeah, but you had to be doing. doing something at 20 to get the attention. I was just friendly and outside and they picked me up.
Starting point is 00:13:14 I was just giving home to people money. Yeah, that's a crazy feeling. Granger was it weird? Like, did you wake up and were you kind of like scared or confused? Because I would think in a non-traditional wake-up environment, like a lot of your world would be confused. No, absolutely. I was so confused.
Starting point is 00:13:34 It was, I mean, you know, a lot of time has passed now. so, you know, we moved past it, but definitely not my finest moment, you know, I'm not happy about that decision. But, yeah, I woke up, totally confused out of my mind. I had no clue where I was. I just saw, like, a toilet with a water fountain on top of it and was like, oh, gosh, I got to sober up and figure out where the heck I am. And, yeah, I had to bail myself out.
Starting point is 00:14:01 That's funny. That's funny. Well, I'm glad that you're now on the straight and narrow, and thanks for the call, man. Yeah, y'all have good day. All right, see you, buddy. Let's go to Andres in Texas, who wants to talk about this. Andre, you're on. Morning studio.
Starting point is 00:14:16 Morning. Hey, I just want to say, I totally agree with you, Bobby, in a situation that had a baby crying. Newborn, totally understandable, right? That's a newborn. But if you have a baby one year and older, I would say, scream at the lungs like that, I think it is the responsibility of the parent to remove that child from the situation because it's not their responsibility to have to listen to that also. So I totally agree with you.
Starting point is 00:14:40 I'm a father at three boys, right? Two under two, so I totally understand what this lady's coming from. But yeah, if that happened to me, I am getting up immediately and walking out with my baby. Yeah, again, I'm not saying babies shouldn't cry because they should. You know what, bold take, baby should cry. Yeah, your baby is going to scream like that at some point. Yes. Yes.
Starting point is 00:14:58 Or even cry, and you shouldn't have to pull every crying baby from every public place. But there becomes a level of that screech where everybody else is paying for their meal. and it shouldn't run their meal. Yeah. I think the problem in the clip is she's acting like this guy is ridiculous. She even calls him an adult and that he's an adult. He can leave. Well, I think what we're saying is, well, you're the adult here that is in charge of the
Starting point is 00:15:21 screen baby, so you actually should be the one leaving. It's blowing my mind that that's not registering with some people. Well, I don't even care about the clip anymore. I'm mad at Miss Jamie Lee. The DM. Yes, who said, you just wait and Amy never had a baby. Oh, right, right, right. Yes.
Starting point is 00:15:37 Yeah. So I think that's mostly where my beef is. You guys can call us, though. 877-77 Bobby. We do not have to talk about this specifically. 877-77 Bobby. Dolly's sister was saying yesterday that she wanted fans to pray for her sister, and we had heard that Dolly had pulled out of a bunch of shows in Vegas as far as a residency.
Starting point is 00:16:00 And the pull-out of the residency shows didn't really scare me that much. But then we're sisters online saying, give prayers to my sister, you're like, oh, this might be real bad. So everybody started to freak out. I made a couple calls to. Now the sister's walking back and apologizing, saying, I want to clear something up. I didn't mean to scare anyone. It scared everybody. Everyone.
Starting point is 00:16:22 I think it's just a stone. A kidney stone? I think so. I think that's what it was, is what I heard. Not that that ain't painful, and I'm not even sure about that, but that's what I got from, like, my eighth-degree source. that it's something like that not that she's dying because not doing shows
Starting point is 00:16:42 okay that sucks and we hope she has great health and hope she bounces back and she's in her upper 70s but then when her sister's online going please pray for her you're like oh no she's on her deathbed I think I read something like her sister
Starting point is 00:16:53 was like I've been up all night praying for my sister and I'm like well this is it I have other people that God should take instead of Dolly we need dolly to wait around for a bit yeah we got another big list
Starting point is 00:17:05 Yeah, I'd like to volunteer like four or five people before we even think about that. Yeah. So from what I know, we're okay. I want to go talk to Sarah in Austin, Texas. Sarah, you're on the show. Good morning. Good morning. It's Eric.
Starting point is 00:17:21 That's funny. You know what? Eric and Sarah, that will be confusing. I can see that. And I can see that. That explains the pause. Yes, and it was written to Sarah. So I apologize.
Starting point is 00:17:32 Eric in Austin. Go ahead. So I'm a father's. six-year-olds. And there was a point where my wife and I, we was like the fourth child, and we decided we wanted to go to Disneyland to go watch a movie. And at that time, my fourth daughter, she was maybe like six, seven months old. And so we're in the movie and the baby started crying. And so the attendant came and asked us to leave. And I really got offended at first. It took me a little while to calm down. But then I had to look at the perspective of other people. It's like, you know,
Starting point is 00:18:05 people are there to watch a movie. Yeah, it was Disneyland, you know, which is four kids and adults, but the point really was that I had to look at the fact of other people and that it was being disruptive. So I get it, but at the same time, it's like, when you have a child, like having six kids, my wife and I have learned, we don't go shopping with the kids. You go, I shop my phone. So, you know, it's like at certain ages, you can't.
Starting point is 00:18:35 really take kids out in public because they're going to do stuff and, you know, and be disruptive. It's part of being a child. So I just wanted to share that. I appreciate that. And I think there's a line. I think, yeah, kids are going to be disruptive and they're going to be loud and God bless them. But there's a point where if everybody else is paying for something and you're ruining their what they've spent their hard-earned money on, because it wasn't a baby crying. That's fine. This baby was screaming like it was getting shots. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:19:07 Like five or six of them at once. Like they went in. Okay, we're now going to have to give you this vaccine, this vaccine. Like, that's what we're listening to that, baby getting vaccine shots. La! Yeah, no, it was like, it was screeching. My boyfriend just texted me and said when his youngest was a baby that someone at a restaurant told them to get their baby under control.
Starting point is 00:19:26 I mean, that's gutsy. That's cold. Wow. The way they said it, he was like, it was really rude. I mean, yes, we had other people. saw, like he said other people saw the interaction and that they were like, wait, your baby's like not that bad. Like, don't, that was really, really rude.
Starting point is 00:19:40 And they ended up taking the baby out, but that's the woman behind them turned around and said, get your baby under control. Oh, dang. You know what? A little bit of respect to that nutty woman. Yeah. I don't have the courage to do that. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:19:52 I mean, you don't have to be like rude about it, but. Yes. And if everybody else has paid their money to be there, they didn't pay to be there with a screeching adult or baby or. anything. It doesn't have to be a baby. Yeah. Katie's on in Jacksonville. We'll do one more call on this. Hello, Katie.
Starting point is 00:20:11 Katie, you're on. Hey. Hey, go ahead. So I kind of am siding with the mom on this one. Like, I give props to the man for speaking up and saying something because I do understand people are paying to go and enjoy a meal, but there's a saying that you are entitled to a child-free life, but you're not entitled to a child-free world. I have two kids of my own, and to me, and the clip, I haven't actually seen the clip.
Starting point is 00:20:44 It was kind of hard to tell when I was listening to you guys, play it back, but it didn't sound like the baby was actually crying. It sounded like she was just, like, screeching. Was it screeching or was it an actual, like, screaming cry? You ever hear, like, a fire alarm go off? It's like that. Yeah, yeah, it was, or dumb and dumber. You only hear the most of the link sound ever.
Starting point is 00:21:04 But it was that in a baby tone. Yeah, yeah, yeah. So my thing is, is the baby wasn't actually crying. She was just screeching, right? She said the baby was eight months old. Around that age, babies are finding their voice and they're making noises. So it's like, even if she did take the baby outside for two minutes, she could come back in and the baby's, like, still making that noise.
Starting point is 00:21:25 Then she goes home. They're allowed to go and enjoy a meal too. Like, you know what I mean? Like, I can see it from both. points of view, like if I'm sitting in a restaurant and I hear a toddler scream and crying, like, yeah, I'm going to be like, okay, that's annoying. But also being a mom of two young kids, I feel like, you know, just from the mom's side, just get over it. You know, if it's really bothering you that bad, finish your meal and leave. So I do disagree. Yeah. Because I'm okay
Starting point is 00:21:58 with the crying baby. I am. The crying babies are everywhere. And you know what? I've noticed more babies and ever recently. Probably because you have one on the way. That's exactly why I have one on the way. I mean, it's like when you get a green car and I'll send every car out there's green. Yeah. Now, I'm seeing babies everywhere. There's baby Paloos out there. Who knew? Wow. But yeah, there's a point to where if everybody else is coming out and they have paid their money to get an experience and they can't get an experience because of something that you, again, it could be an adult. It doesn't have to be just on a baby. Let's say there's an adult man that's drunk and just singing really loud in a restaurant.
Starting point is 00:22:33 annoying everybody. It's disruptive. You also have to go. Right. So I need to take you outside. So that baby was screeches so loud. Yeah, I guess it only, like it gives me, I'm trying to understand where this caller's coming from because she maybe didn't hear the full clip because I don't know how you can hear that full clip and then still think. Yeah, and now want to stab your ears out. Yeah. Is that what you were going to say? Yeah, because if you see the video or hear the video, it's very clear that the baby should, the adult should remove the baby from that
Starting point is 00:23:04 situation and the adult might need to go home. Like that just is what it, like, it's not the reality. It's like, we shouldn't have to be like, oh, this is, there's babies in the world. It should be like, oh, yeah, I'm an adult and I can remove the screaming baby from the public. And the dad, I like the dad that just called in. He was like, I was offended at first. I didn't get it. But when I take a step back and consider other people's perspective, I'm like, oh, I get it now. So sometimes you just made me need to step back. Well, you also said something earlier in the show that I liked that was, if you're in a place where you can't get rid of the baby, like take it outside, like an airplane,
Starting point is 00:23:37 we all just have to deal with it. That sucks for you. I'm very sorry. And I know that you're going through it. So I'm just going to be like, man, that sucks. I'm going to be quiet. And I understand. You actually can't walk outside with the baby.
Starting point is 00:23:47 And I feel sorry for you. Yeah, like a train, a plane. A train. Where are you? You in Europe or what? Well, I was just trying to think like places where you can't remove yourself. Amy's a hobo. Amy's a hobo with one of those sticks in a bag?
Starting point is 00:23:58 No, there can be like an Amtrak. Not here. He's headed from Florida to D.C. or something. And you are next to a screaming baby. Like, there's not much you can do. You walk to another cart. Okay. Give them a little bit.
Starting point is 00:24:09 Give them a little bit. True, true. Yes, you could do that. But, yeah, we have more grace and compassion in an airplane. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I just don't want to be anti-baby because I'm not.
Starting point is 00:24:20 You're not. No one's anti-baby. I'm anti that parent because that baby's going to do what that baby's going to do. Listen, the four of us. We never agree on anything. We all think that this is a little ridiculous. Thank you for the call. I appreciate that.
Starting point is 00:24:34 And we don't have to do more of these because it's just going to be mostly 80% because I'm looking at them, agreeing with us and 20% saying Bobby doesn't have a baby and Amy's never had a baby. That's it. So, shush. So that's basically what it was going to be. If we took 10 calls, that would be what it would be. If you have anything else we want to call about them. You know what?
Starting point is 00:24:53 We were babies. That's true. Good point. Oh, yeah, you'll never forget that. And I remember, I remember being like six months. No, you don't. No, listen, I'm being like, I shouldn't screech. I just going to cry.
Starting point is 00:25:04 Oh, you remember that at a restaurant? Yeah, yeah, yeah. I remember, like, you know, really having that discipline. Like, I really want to screech right now. But if you did screech, you removed yourself. I walked out myself and tied myself to the bike rack. Because I didn't want, you know, for my parents, I think I was going to go away, so I just tied myself to the bike rack outside.

Starting point is 00:29:23 In 2023, former bachelor star Clayton Eckerd found himself at the center of a paternity scandal. The family court hearings that followed revealed glaring inconsistencies in her story. This began a years-long court battle to prove the truth. You doctored this particular test twice in so-ins, correct? I doctored the test ones. It took an army of internet detectives to crack the case. I wanted people to be able to see what their tax dollars were being used for. Sunlight's the greatest disinfected.

It's the anonymous And by Hello Bobby Bonds My boyfriend and I live together for a year It's been great
Starting point is 00:30:50 But lately I feel like I'm coming in second to his gaming He stays up late Planning Cancance his plans last minute so he can keep gaming He can even brush me off Now I'm asking for attention I suggested that he may have a problem He laughs it off like I'm overreacting
Starting point is 00:31:04 But I'm about to reach my wits end And I'm considering ending it because of this I love him but I can't help wondering if I should be with someone who actually puts me first. Should I give him an ultimatum? If not, what can I do? Signed, dating a gamer. You can go first, Amy.
Starting point is 00:31:19 Yeah, this sounds miserable and very unattractive. So, I mean, yeah, you gotta lay down something. Like, this sounds problematic. He's canceling plans for his video game. He needs to dial it back. So, sure, there needs to be boundaries around the gaming. Yeah, I think you need to, I mean, it's kind of a moderate ultimatum. think it's you stop playing or I'm out. I think it's you have to be more deliberate with your time
Starting point is 00:31:47 for me or I'm out because you're not going to get them to stop. And you know, gaming, that could be something that feels addictive. I don't know. I don't know if they still say you can get addicted to gaming. I don't know how you get addicted to gaming. But that's because you're not addicted. I think that some people do. Great. I don't know if they're actually considering that because I know for a while it wasn't addictive anymore. They were just like, this is something that people, regardless, he has to be able to scale back, regardless of what it is. If you want attention and you're not getting it, you're going to feel unfilled. So regardless of what he's doing, if he's gaming, if he's running and he's gone all the time
Starting point is 00:32:23 running, if he's track, it doesn't matter what it is. If he doesn't meet you where you need to be met at this or for any other reason, I think it's time to look at all, you know, at all alternatives, which is not living with them anymore. Yeah. And it's okay to state your needs in a relationship and you clearly need more time with him. Yeah. So I don't know that it's about, I think gaming is kind of a symptom, not really the disease. The disease is he's just not prioritizing you and your needs. And if you're with anybody who's not prioritizing you and your needs, there has to be a difficult conversation because you're just going to grow more resentful and more resentful until it does fester and the blister pops. That's disgusting.
Starting point is 00:33:02 with pus. Yeah, but okay. I mean, you're making it even more gross. Yeah, but something has to happen because you're just going to, it's just going to get worse if you don't address it. He doesn't have to stop gaming, but he's got to give you time. That's what I would say to that. Yeah, so good luck. And if that doesn't work, pop the blister.
Starting point is 00:33:19 Get out. Get covered in pus and then get out of town. You know what I mean? All right, there you go. Close it up. This kid on TikTok has made over $20,000 reviewing school lunches. By the way, he only got TikTok two weeks ago. Wow.
Starting point is 00:33:31 Yeah, he goes by Big Dog, Duff. Davis. And he started reviewing school lunches. He has half a million followers. Made a bunch of money. Here you go. Big Dog Davis started posting on September 19th of this year. His first video already has almost a million views. If you don't know who Big Dog Davis is, basically he's like a middle schooler, I think, and he posts cafeteria food and other food reviews pretty much every single day. In total, Davis has gotten about 41 million views so far on TikTok. This means he's probably made about $20,500 already. You want to hear Big Dog?
Starting point is 00:34:06 Yes. All right, here's a food review. My name's Davis, and today for reviewing school food. Here, let's start up with our corn today. Nice and buttery. Corn and messed up corn. 7 out of 10.
Starting point is 00:34:19 No, we've got a chicken tender. It looks kind of weird. Well, let's see out of. No crunch. Three out of 10. I'll see you guys tomorrow. He's made $20,000 doing that. That's awesome. And only that.
Starting point is 00:34:31 Big Dog Day. And you know, when he comes in, those cafeteria workers are like, okay, make his plate look good. Big dogs here. Big dogs here. There's a forklift driver who won a million dollars in a scratch-off. And so he just went hard because he has all this money. He went so hard. He had to go to the hospital because of non-stop partying because of all of his winnings.
Starting point is 00:34:58 That's going hard. Adam Lopez went from having nearly $17 in his bank. account to having over 1.3 million on hand after winning the scratch-off. He was in the back of an ambulance a couple months later, suffering a bilateral pulmonary embolism. I knew what I was doing. I knew it was going to come to an end. It came to an end in the worst way possible. It was a massive, massive wake-up call.
Starting point is 00:35:18 The last three months, he said he's been burning the candle at both ends. It allowed me to live the life. I've always wanted to live. This is from the New York Post. He went so hard. A blood clot developed in his leg. Oh. That on earth?
Starting point is 00:35:33 How hard are you going? Yeah, what's he doing? Yeah, what are you doing? That's crazy. Like, as soon as he hit that money, he was like, yep, time to go. Time to be free. I was talking to a guy yesterday.
Starting point is 00:35:45 This is a crazy story. Where I believe the world is bendable and whatever it is that you want to do, if it's physically attainable, you can't dunk a basketball for five, too, but you can't build a trampoline to dunk a basketball. There's always a way to do it.
Starting point is 00:35:57 I think the world is completely bendable with the right strategy, with the right work ethic. you can do anything you want i was talking to a guy yesterday and he hit me up he goes hey i got some questions because he's got a show he's doing and so i met with him and he's super creative guy and he said one of my dreams was always to go on shark tank and he's not somebody who knows how to invent stuff never had a business and i was like yeah what did you go so i don't know i just created this product real quick like made it up and i was on jean then he sent me the clip him on shark tank oh wow he was like
Starting point is 00:36:24 i just thought it always be fun to go on shark tank so i just made up this product real quick and it was a a can of wine that you drink with pizza. Okay. It was like canned wine that goes perfect with pizza, a pairing. And he was on shark, he took me the whole clip of it. And I was like, I don't know.
Starting point is 00:36:44 I don't know. I was just like, so wait, you're not like an entrepreneur goes, no, I literally just wanted to be on Shark Tank. And so I was like, let me create an idea that the producer. And so he created a can of, it looks like a Red Bull shaped can. Pie wine is what I just found it.
Starting point is 00:37:01 Pie wine is what it's called. It did not receive investment from any of the sharks due to conflict of interest from other businesses and the company's recent launch. The founders pitched their canned sparkling wine designed to pair with pizza and left without a deal. It wasn't even a real thing.
Starting point is 00:37:16 That's amazing. He literally just wanted to be on the show. The idea. And got on the show. If you want it bad enough, you can do whatever you want. You know who else always wanted to go on Shark Tank. Who? Oh, you?
Starting point is 00:37:28 Yeah, I know, but I just haven't had a great idea yet. This guy didn't either. He just came up with it real quick. Yeah, he's not a guy who does this. He was just like, I want to be on Shark Tank. So he put forth the effort and made this. So which guy did you meet with? There's two of them.
Starting point is 00:37:39 Yeah, well, it doesn't matter. He's not trying to out him, but. Yeah, yeah, yeah, I'm trying to out of him. So, and that was just a part of it because he was just talking about some of the stuff that I had done. And he was like, you know, I did this thing on Shark Tank. I was like, yeah, I just want to be on Shark Tank. So I just wanted something.
Starting point is 00:37:53 We just made this up real quick. That's cool. So you can do anything you want. If you want it bad enough and you'll spend time doing it, investing in it, getting things right, getting things wrong, you too can end up on Shark Tank. Lunchbox. Man, I remember these people. It takes a little bit of effort. Well, I mean, I got to have a good invention.
Starting point is 00:38:09 Pie Wine's making it now. I don't. Wait, are they? Not really. I don't think, no. They still got a website and you can buy the Pie Wine. Yeah, I think I can make a website and sell something pretty easily too. Anyway, that's all.
Starting point is 00:38:21 The world is bendable. You can do whatever you want if you want it bad enough. It's time. for the good news. Which bear is the bad bear? The black bear or the brown bear? Oh,
Starting point is 00:38:37 black is black. Are you just trying to like find rhymes? Yeah, because I feel like at one point we came up with something to help us remember which one is more dangerous. Well, you're not going to run into both of them at the same time. So mostly it's geographically where you are. Right. So it's mostly like if you're in certain areas and you see a bear, that's a bad one.
Starting point is 00:38:55 Okay, so it just depends where you are. No, no, but what's the bad one? A bad one. Brown is like, you're going to drown. I don't remember. What is it? Brown's bad. Okay, Brown is bad.
Starting point is 00:39:06 Brown's a grizzly. I mean, Brown can be a grizzly bear. Black bears, we had in Arkansas. Yeah. You know, really nothing to them. They're cute. Well, they eat your garbage. They can still hurt you.
Starting point is 00:39:14 But yeah, not a big deal. All right. But there's this guy Craig Campbell, and he goes out and he's with his dog. And so they come across a grizzly bear, which is? The cute black ones. No. Shoot. I'm not going to get it.
Starting point is 00:39:27 No, I got it. I got it. Brown, make you frown. Okay. Whatever it takes to rhyme. All right. So they come into contact with this grizzly bear. The bear stands up on its hind legs, which means, well, you're about to get eaten or attacked. And the dog just takes off at the bear and, like, starts barking at the bear, running up, like, running into the bear's legs.
Starting point is 00:39:50 So the bear was like, this thing's annoying. I'm out. So the dog scares away the bear. They almost died. Well, now they're inducting that dog into the Hall of Fame, the Purina Animal Hall of Fame. That's awesome. I didn't know they have that. A Doberman named Knight has just been inducted into the Purina Hall of Fame for rescuing his owner from a grizzly bear.
Starting point is 00:40:11 Most dogs will flee from a bear. My dog runs out on, says Craig. He's a very brave dog. That's from CTV news. Okay, here's a rhyme that most people say there are round bears. If it's brown, lay down. If it's black, fight back. If it's white, good night.
Starting point is 00:40:27 Because Polarberry, you're in a bad place. You ain't getting out. Oh, man. Okay. So you need to lay down. You're not running from it. Right. Because they're a lot faster than you and stronger.
Starting point is 00:40:37 So I don't know if I would lay on the ground and act like I'm taking a nap. Like, I'll fool it. Maybe it won't bother me. Right. But yeah, that's the rhyme. Okay. If it's brown, lay down. Because you don't want to frown.
Starting point is 00:40:48 Okay, now you're rapping. And if it's black. Fight back. If it's white, why are you in Alaska out in the snow? Yeah, get out of there, man. All right, that's what it's all about. That was Tell Me Something Good. I got an alert on social media that dog the bounty hunter followed me.
Starting point is 00:41:08 I thought he was dead. I thought he was dead to you. Wow. Right? Yeah. Because I googled, I think his name is Dwayne Chapman, and it says no, he's alive. Mike, would you make sure? Because I could have Googled that wrong.
Starting point is 00:41:19 Maybe it was his wife. That passed away? Oh, yeah. Maybe she does. What you see? Yeah, he's alive. 72 years old. Whoa.
Starting point is 00:41:27 So did Beth pass? Yes. Yeah. Okay. Because he had a new girlfriend. They were on like Moripovich or something. But I got to follow from somebody I thought was dead. So why did he follow you?
Starting point is 00:41:37 I didn't reach out and be like, why'd you follow? Hey dog, what's up? Why'd you follow? But I've put together, are they alive or not game? Okay. Because dog the bounty hunter is alive. Alive. Alive.
Starting point is 00:41:49 What would you have bet? Dead. Yeah, me too. That's kind of rude, huh? Is that rude of us? It's just weird because I thought he was dead too. Maybe he was near death? Yeah, with that job, you're always kind of near death.
Starting point is 00:42:03 Bob Barker. You can answer? Oh, dead. Yeah. Yoko. Oh, no. Do you know who that is? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:42:14 Who is it? John Lennon's muse. Okay. Lava. Okay. Are they ever married? Yeah, I think so. They weren't married.
Starting point is 00:42:26 You made me think maybe they weren't with all the words you were using. I know. I didn't know if they just were together like partners, but not. Yoko. Oh, no. Sure, she's alive. 92 years old, alive. Okay.
Starting point is 00:42:40 Dick Van Dyke. Rest in peace. He said. He's 99 and alive. Wow. He turns 100 in December and I saw a story where he was joking. It'd be funny if he died right before his 100's birthday. Oh.
Starting point is 00:42:55 Still got a good sense. humor. Okay, I was wrong about that. Olivia Newton-John. Oh, she passed. You know, sometimes you can watch a video and see somebody when they were younger and go, I have like a retroactive crush on this person. It was Olivia Newton-John when she was in like her 30s. Because she was so talented, like great singer.
Starting point is 00:43:13 Obviously she was Sandy in Greece. And I did that play also in high school. I don't think that's fully it. But, you know, she was a country singer too before she went and, you know, I don't know if she did pop first or country, but I think country. All right. Jimmy Carter Oh, he passed.
Starting point is 00:43:30 Yeah, he died at 100. He did make it to 100. Dan Rather. Dan Rather. He's alive and well. I don't know if he's well, but he's 93. Okay. And he is alive.
Starting point is 00:43:45 Dan Rather is 93. That's crazy. Tom Brokaw. Tom Brokaw. Is he, he's a alive. It's 85, yeah. I had dinner with one of those two. You don't remember which one? Was it? I didn't remember. I do. They are interchangeable. Yeah. Yeah. It was Broko? Yeah. Was it with the CEO of our company? It was me, Broca on CEO. Yeah. Brocahaw. Yeah. Super nice guy. Okay, so it wasn't Dan Rather than I can stop saying that.
Starting point is 00:44:14 Because I kind of just say both. And I kind of hedge my bets. Yeah. Mr. Rogers. He has passed. I don't know. Mr. Rogers died in 2003. Okay. Yeah. He was 74 years old. Clint Eastwood. Alive. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:44:34 94 years old. Sir Mix a lot. Alive. Yeah, 62 years old. I don't know. Wow. He's 62. Barbara Walters.
Starting point is 00:44:45 Oh, guys. I don't think you've missed one, have you? Yes, I have. Yeah. DVD. Dick Van Dyke. DVD. I've never.
Starting point is 00:44:59 Never heard of it called that. Never. I gave DVD the RIP and he's alive. Barbara, she passed. 2022 she died. Yeah. Oh, didn't know that. James Earl Jones.
Starting point is 00:45:16 He's alive. Dead. Died in 2024. So pretty recent. Screech, Dustin Diamond, save the bill. Oh. Did he die or just near death? Oh, sadly, he has passed.
Starting point is 00:45:32 Are you sure? I believe so. Yeah, he died in 2021. Yeah. Diana Ross. I just read something about her kids the other day. It was like famous people you didn't know or related other famous people like Ashley Simpson. Diana Ross.
Starting point is 00:45:49 Her husband is his mom. Yeah. Yeah. So Diana Ross is her stepmom. But I don't know if they said was her stepmom. Mother-in-law. Or yeah. Sorry, mother-in-law.
Starting point is 00:45:59 Like if she passed or is. So I'm going to say since I just read that article, She's alive. 81 years old and alive. It was a long way to get there. Okay. MC Hammer. Alive.
Starting point is 00:46:12 Died? He died? No, he's alive. Okay. He's 63. One more. Boy George. Oh.
Starting point is 00:46:21 Einy, meeny, mighty dead. Weird way to do that. That's a weird game. Alive. Oh, dang. George Michael's dead. He's dead?
Starting point is 00:46:31 I think so, yeah. Dang. Both like British pop singers or something. Yeah. I'll be your father figure. Can you sing the rest? Yeah. You can put your hand.
Starting point is 00:46:44 I will be your father figure. You'll put your hands in one. I will be your peach of each of each. Dang. You know that note. That's a good one. Thank you. Anyway, dog the bounty hunter.
Starting point is 00:46:59 Followed you. He's still alive. He's alive and well. So we're happy for dog. Keep it up, dog. Stay alive. I did a whole interview with Lionel Richie in a theater in Austin, Texas. And, you know, he wrote Lady for Kenny Rogers.
Starting point is 00:47:14 Lady, you familiar with that? And so he talks about that song, how he wrote it, and the success of him going solo after he wrote that song for Kenny Rogers. On the Bobby Bone Show now. I want to talk about songs specifically, and let's bounce around through some songs. And Lady is so interesting to me because I loved Kenny Rogers. Yep. That was, like, I got to know him a little bit before he passed away, a few years, loved him. You know, he's known for that song that you wrote, but it really wasn't lady.
Starting point is 00:47:46 You had it as, like, baby, and he was just telling you a story, and you're like, yep, it's a lady. Kenya Rogers said, call me on the phone one day and said, I want one of those ballots. You got one. And I said, yeah, I got, I got one. We are just finishing up the album. And now, of course, I had a song called Baby for, the Commodore's album. And they said to me, when I walked in, we don't want another love song. I called Kenny on the phone and said, you want that song? He says, I do. I said, I'm available.
Starting point is 00:48:17 Because that's Kenny Rogers. You've returned his phone call. You see. He said, meet me in Vegas. I get to Vegas. And there he is in the dressing room, bigger than life. And he starts telling me this story. He says, you know, I just got married. I said, congratulations. I heard that. He says, You know, I married a lady. I mean, I'm from Houston, Texas, and I don't know why on earth that Marianne is so refined. I have no business being with a lady. This lady is so amazing, Lionel. She does things that I would have never, she has taste.
Starting point is 00:48:54 I've never seen it. He went on, this lady, this lady. He said, by the way, what's the name of the song you wrote for me? I said, lady. He's stupid. The brother ain't stupid. Baby, lady, same damn thing. Right?
Starting point is 00:49:17 Now we, he's excited because it's right on the story he wants to talk about. All right. Now, let me hear it. Wow. Now this is Commodore Pitching 101. Lady, I'm your night in shining armor and I love you. You have made me what I am. I am yours
Starting point is 00:49:41 And Kenny said What's next? And I said, you like it? He says, I think it's brilliant. What comes next? I said, what if you like it, I'll finish it? And that's the beginning of lady. One of the interesting things
Starting point is 00:50:12 about your story of going solo Wasn't you going, I am going to go solo. It was the awkward predicament of them saying to you and your band, you guys are now just going to follow Lionel, and it put you in a very weird place. I was perfectly happy being a member of the Commodores and had no thought in my life to leave this band. I did not want to go solo. I had the band. I had everything I needed.
Starting point is 00:50:40 I discovered I could write. By this time, I didn't have to play the saxophone too long because I had to be able to sing more than I could play the sax. This is good news. Now came the problem. Reviews. Everything was fine until Lady. Now they know me as the writer, and they don't know the rest of the guys, but they know Lionel Riches and the Commodores, and he wrote Lady. So now you go back to the band to do interviews on behalf of the band, and here are the questions.
Starting point is 00:51:10 Here's the line that stabbed everybody in the chest. What's the guy like Lionel Richie doing in the funk band like the Commodores? Now try to go back to rehearsal. After that. On the Bobby Bones show now. Lionel Richie. The places that songs come from, nothing felt as random to me as,
Starting point is 00:51:32 hello. How that song came to be. What I love most about writing, it's got to be simple. If it ain't simple, you won't remember it, neither will I. And when you have ADD, you need it simple, all right?
Starting point is 00:51:45 Now, I was playing around with my co-producer, James Anthony Carlin, Michael. He was late. And when he walked in, I said, hello, is it me you're looking for? He said the damnedest thing I'd ever heard in life. Finish that song. And I said, wait, wait, wait, wait. I said, James, that's the corniest line I've ever heard in my life. Hello, is it me you looking for? It can't be a song. He said, I'm telling you, finish the song, Brother Richie, you got something. And I went back and reluctantly, I put some chorus to it, wrote the damn song. He said, let's record it. I said, James, I'll be laughed out of the business with, hello, is it me you're
Starting point is 00:52:26 looking for? He said, let's record it. All right? We record the song, and then I loved it, and he hated it. Why? It's too heavy. So I went off somewhere and wrote a song to kick Hello's ass and wrote Truly. Now I'm sitting there and I have Truly, and we threw some more songs off the record. Do I throw off hello and replace it with truly, or do I keep hello and put it out? At the same time, we threw another song off because it was just too risque, called All Night Long. But the point was to show you the insanity was I was trying, my whole concept was, how do I get people's attention? You have to do something crazy. I ain't taking on my clothes. So I got a shock you with something that you ain't ready for. And so I wrote this calypso song and it's got the feeling
Starting point is 00:53:25 and the thought, okay, it was just too long and it was too much stuff and it had too many layers. So we threw this off. I'm walking down this hall one day at the studio. This music is playing in the second day. Oh my God, it's just kicking and the thing is happening. And I decided just to make sure I have that uptempo song covered. I wrote Running with a Night to cover in case we don't need all night long. Truly was the first single. Truly was also my first Grammy. Hello, we threw off the album. The very last minute we put all night long on and running with the night, and that was the national anthem of my life story. Hello, all night long, running with the night, get out of town. A win is a win. A win is a win. I don't care what you're saying. Yep, that's me. Klibert

My dad gave me the best advice ever. I went and had lunch with them one day. And I was like, and dad, I think I want to really give this a shot. I don't know what that means, but I just know the groundlings.
Starting point is 00:56:39 I'm working my way up through, and I know it's a place that come look for up and coming talent. He said, if it was based solely on talent, I wouldn't worry about you, which is really sweet. Yeah. He goes, but there's so much luck involved. And he's like, just give it a shot. He goes, but if you ever reach a point where you're banging your head against the wall, and it doesn't feel fun anymore, it's okay to quit. If you saw it written down, it would not be an inspiration.
Starting point is 00:57:04 It would not be on a calendar of, you know, the cat. Just hang in there. Yeah, it would not be. Right, it wouldn't be that. There's a lot of luck. In 2023, former bachelor star Clayton Eckerd found himself at the center of a paternity scandal. The family court hearings that followed revealed glaring inconsistencies in her story. This began a years-long court battle to prove the truth. You doctored this particular test twice in silence, correct? I doctored the test ones. It took an army of internet detectives to crack the case.
Starting point is 00:58:25 I wanted people to be able to see what their tax dollars were being used for. Sunlight's the greatest disinfected. They would uncover a disturbing pattern. Two more men who'd been through the same thing. Greg Alespian and Michael Marantini. My mind was blown. I'm Stephanie Young. This is Love Trap.
Starting point is 00:58:44 Laura, Scottsdale Police. As the season continues, Laura Owens finally faces consequences. Ladies and gentlemen, breaking news at Americopa County as Laura Owens has been indicted on fraud charges. This isn't over until justice is served in Arizona. Listen to Love Trapped Podcast on the Iheart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Lunchbox wants to know why he doesn't get invited to company outings. Because some people got invited to the outing, right?
Starting point is 00:59:15 Correct. There was someone in the hall the other day, the guy that runs this building, I don't know what you call him, the GM. And he was like talking to Gator. And then he was like, so you come into the, um, golf thing at Top Golf this week. And Morgan goes, oh, I got invited to that. I think I'm going to come and I'm like, what? I'm like, I didn't get invited
Starting point is 00:59:33 to that. And I told Morgan, I said, why didn't I get invited? She goes, no, no, no, it came to your email. It's in your email. Did you check it? Checked it. Morgan, was there anything in my email? I don't know. I didn't look at your email. There was nothing in my email. Nothing in my email. So then I went to the head
Starting point is 00:59:52 of the building. I was like, hey man, how come I'm not invited to this? He goes, oh, You didn't get an email? What do you think, Edmund? Why don't they want me at these company outings? I don't understand. What would be your theory? Let's say you're one of us, and you asked that question.
Starting point is 01:00:10 I think maybe the fear of rejection maybe because we're such a big deal that they think, oh, they don't have time to hang out with us. Interesting. And so we're not even going to waste the time to invite them. Morgan got invited. Right. Us, like me, you, Amy, Eddie, you know, we're kind of the bigger deal. Oh, I got invited.
Starting point is 01:00:30 Yeah, I'm checking my email now. Yeah, I got invited, man. I got the email right here, actually. What's it say? Oh, dude, I saw talk off on it. I'm like, this is cool. Yeah. It says you are invited.
Starting point is 01:00:40 Come hang out and play, have some drinks, and eat some snacks. Please accept an invite if you can plan on attending. There we go. Wow. That theory out the window. Oh, then I don't know. This is, maybe he doesn't like me. Amy, did you get invited?
Starting point is 01:00:55 Checking right now, I have to, man, logging into our email. You got to have a verification code. It's a hassle. I haven't checked that email only two years. But what would be your theory? Why would they not want me at the top? I don't want to get my theory. Oh, you have a theory, though?
Starting point is 01:01:10 I don't want to get my theory. Because it's not nice. What do you mean? I do see it says like enjoy some drinks and snacks. Are they worried he's going to bring his whole family? Possibly. You've done that before? That could be something.
Starting point is 01:01:26 I didn't even think about that. I wouldn't even have thought, you know. Yes, you would have. You take your family things all the time that aren't family things. If it said, hey, this is a family event, cool. The Chris Jansen release was not a family event. It says all in. That was the name of his album.
Starting point is 01:01:45 When you say we're having an all-in party. That's the name of his album. Sorry, you think everybody's allowed in. Wait, when was this sent? Exactly, Amy. Yesterday. Tell me. Yesterday?
Starting point is 01:01:56 Yesterday? yesterday. Amy starts to get mad. No, I'm not going to get mad. Oh, no, Annie. Did you get a secondary invite? I'm going to assume they don't think I checked this. What, Morgan? Do you want to know some information that I found out? Yeah. Spill the tea, girl. I found out that lunchbox is on the invite list, but it's on an email that he doesn't pay any attention to. Huh? They went and checked and you were on it. It's one of your two email addresses that are associated with work and you have two email addresses? I don't have two email addresses? I don't have two email. I don't have two email. addresses. Do you know how to check other one of them?
Starting point is 01:02:30 Yeah, I have the other one pulled up right here and there's nothing. Why does he have a second email address? I don't know anything about that. Nobody knows, honestly. I'm not exactly sure how he got to. But I mean, you're thinking they did it on purpose? No. Okay. Because you got a theory you said. You got invited. You got invited. There you go.
Starting point is 01:02:50 They made up an email address for me so I would never see it. Everything that they invite him to is to a fake email address you can't log into. And they're like, no, man, we sent it. What email did they send mine to? See? There you go. Amy. You didn't get invited either?
Starting point is 01:03:02 I don't see it. But I mean, they may know that I don't ever. I mean, but I have a work email that all the bosses, no, no, sorry. I have my personal email that all the bosses know to send things to. And then. Do you want to go lunchbox? Well, no. I feel like I'm not wanted now.
Starting point is 01:03:18 And so I feel like. There's a lot of those things you go to. What? And you still show up. What else have I been that I'm not wanted? I mean, that's what I'm saying. Like, they should really invite me individually. Like, I'm the biggest thing in this building.
Starting point is 01:03:36 Like salespeople. Like, he can't be serious, right? Why don't you talk this way? I'm the biggest thing in this building? I mean, have you guys not walked around this building? There's not that much talent in this building. No, boy. I think it's a fair amount of talent in the building.
Starting point is 01:03:52 Really? Yeah. Where do you think you rank? Oh, I mean. You're the biggest. So, go out and rank it. Tear it up. I mean, it's probably.
Starting point is 01:03:59 Bobby and I up there at the top. Oh, together tied as one. Yeah. And then Amy. Bobby, were you invited? And then who else? Who else would I put on that list? I hope not. I got invited to Keith Urban, high and alive. Oh, I did too. Ray Mundo got invited to Lainey Wilson to her show, but it was only for one and he got mad. It's so stupid. But I mean, I think that's because she has a very popular show. And if they're extending invites, saying, hey, all of y'all can come, but there's no plus ones. Very popular. Yeah, it was a Bridgetown Arena.
Starting point is 01:04:34 Yes. I mean, it's very popular. Where 20,000 people went. I mean. And any times it's like a book signing. Yeah, there's going to be a lot of people there at least like 40. No, I meant like they only have so many tickets. So to be able to extend even gifted tickets to us, it's like if everybody was able to bring a plus one, that would be a lot.
Starting point is 01:04:54 Oh, that's weird. Because when you went to the show, if you went, I mean, what I've been told from people is that, one person in this building brought his wife, his daughter, the other person brought a wife, and these are people that just work behind the scenes, not even on-air people. Like, you think they would give us a plus one.
Starting point is 01:05:09 The wife and daughter, if you're referring to like the program director of the station, like that makes sense. Does it? Gator? Yes. Oh, now the name came out. I don't know.
Starting point is 01:05:22 Lunchbox says they are behind the scenes. They have nothing to do with it. He actually has like... He programs multiple stations all across the country. Yes, of course. Like he's a decision maker His rankings are weird Like Lainey's music is played on the radio
Starting point is 01:05:37 Ray were you irritated by that Yeah because McKitty brought a random girl from Chicago Exactly The afternoon guy, not a freaking plus one I go that one is it maybe it's because He's a decision maker too though If we did Like we didn't take our tickets
Starting point is 01:05:52 So maybe that opened up a ticket for Chicago Friend Abby took her ticket She got one ticket Okay Okay, you don't, you're not owed anything. Just weird. I'm just saying, I didn't get invited to the golf.
Starting point is 01:06:04 Then there's no, I mean, it's a lot of disrespect. My favorite is there's somewhere a mysterious email that lunchbox never checks. Right. That people send invites to it because they know he can't get to that. Is it like your Yahoo? Don't you have a Yahoo? No, I have a hot mail. Okay.
Starting point is 01:06:17 A hot mail. No way that still worked. Is that where they sent it? No, I go to my hot mail every day. I'm sorry that you guys didn't get an extra ticket to Lanny. I'm sorry that you. misplaced your golf invite. No, no, I didn't misplace it. They did it on purpose. They put it, they know an email that I don't have that they just made up. Look, oh no, he's, come on, man.
Starting point is 01:06:38 Show me some respect. And what would you like? What would you like from this to happen? I would like some respect, and I'd like a personal invite. What about you stop yelling things like, I'm the most important part of the person in the building. But it's true. I don't, I would argue that it's not, but it's not my argument to make. So, where would you rank us? I'm not ranking us. I mean, look at, I mean, I would, say there are national salespeople in the building that sell so much that they would be ranked above certain people on the show. He means town though. You mean town, right? No, because he was like, they're behind us change people. Yeah, yeah. You know how they're able to sell those things? Because of us.
Starting point is 01:07:16 Yeah, it's true. It's true. Whatever you say, man. I feel weird. Me too. This is just a weird situation. I'm sorry you didn't get invited. Maybe take that as a sign. So what? Well, however he wants to take it. However he wants to take it. Yeah, whatever he can do to grow from this, I hope he does. I hope he grows from it. So annoying. It's time for the good news. With lunchbox. Say, I home it's not been good. Sienna Barton was born with a very bad heart defect and so she spent nearly three years in the hospital waiting for a new heart. And her community rally together, fundraised money for the hospital bills. She flew down the Texas, got a new heart.
Starting point is 01:08:01 And after three years in the hospital, she has come home to a parade of purple and pink balloons, people throwing candy at her. Big celebration. Wow. Three years? Yeah, like she was okay for like two years. But then after that, she went to the hospital and has been there since she was two years old. Huh?
Starting point is 01:08:19 Do you live in the hospital? Yeah, 975 days. Wow, that's crazy. Do they build you like a condo? Is there like a part of the hospital to the condo? Or do you live right beside the hospital? Like St. Jude, right? If you're like going over to St. Jude, you have apartments?
Starting point is 01:08:32 Yeah. This isn't like a long time to be living in the hospital. 975 days in the hospital. Yeah, we heard that part. So I'm just saying it says in the hospital. So I assume she wasn't next door, she wasn't around the corner. She was in the hospital. Let me get this straight.
Starting point is 01:08:47 975 days? Yeah, that's almost three years. Dang. That's great. That's awesome. Great story. That's what it's all about. That was Tell Me Something Good
Starting point is 01:08:55 Now time for Amy's morning Now time for Amy's morning Corny The morning corny The morning corny What type of music do the planet's like Why are you trying to figure this out? What type of music?
Starting point is 01:09:40 This isn't investigative. Do the planets like? Yeah. Neptunes. Oh. That was the morning corny. Lobby Bone Show. Bonehead.
Starting point is 01:09:54 Norrie of the day. This story comes us from Louisville, Kentucky. A woman called in a to go order to Little Caesar's pizza. Pizza pizza. She shows up and says, oh, I'd like some extra marinera sauce. They said, it's a dollar a packet. it. She said, it's an extra dollar for marinera sauce. Are you freaking kidding me? And then she starts kicking things off the counter,
Starting point is 01:10:17 kicks the register off, throws things all over the restaurant. Causes about $1,000 in damages. I think she had a bad day. It wasn't really marinera sauce. Maybe a bad couple days. You know, maybe a bad week to react like that. And also you can throw it, you can kick a register off. It's just like a computer screen now. Like they're real thin. Like an iPad.
Starting point is 01:10:36 Yeah, like an iPad. That's not a register then. Registry where you put cash. I know. I had this argument with my daughter who now works the cash register where she works, and I call it that. I'm like, because she was wearing her gloves while doing it. That's a bonehead. I'm like, don't touch, don't wear your gloves and touch the screen and then go touch food. No, we don't do that. But I would say that wouldn't be a cash register. I know. That's exactly. She goes, Mom, it's an iPad. I said that you're exchanging money. She goes, but we're a cashless store. Right. So it's. Oh. And I'm like, so what is it? It's the check her out or payment center. Oh, boy. Payment center on an iPad. There's no register to it. Yeah, it's the Apple Pay. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 01:11:14 Okay. I'm Lunchbox. That's your Bonehead Story of the Day. I got a new podcast up. It is me with Lionel Richie. We were in Austin together and we did over an hour in a theater just talking about his life. And so Lionel Richie was 19 years old. And Michael Jackson was 13 years old.
Starting point is 01:11:30 And Lionel Richie was kind of the lead of the Commodores. And so he was with Michael Jackson at Madison Square Garden opening up for the Jackson 5. Michael was about that tall. But to this day, I would have loved to have done a DNA test to find out just how old this kid was. This was a full grown man. And we're backstage. And he peeks around the curtain. And I peek around the curtain.
Starting point is 01:11:52 He says, Lionel. Lionel. We sold out Madison Square Gardens. And I said, you sold out Madison Square Garden. I'm hanging with you. He then talked about how, because he got a divorce and how that divorced changed his views on love. I got suspicious because I was in divorce court and I said, but God said, and the man said, let me remind you, Mr. Richie, God has no voice in my courtroom. I said, so let me get this
Starting point is 01:12:23 straight. It took one country preacher to get me in it and four Beverly Hills lawyers to get me out of it when half of my estate, I got a lesson. Here I am being this love songwriter. Here I am, people going to Lila is just the greatest lover of all times. How in the world could I be paranoid of love? So he talked about his divorced from his first wife and how it was like, you know, he got married, went to his preacher and was like, hey, can you help me? And the preacher was like, we never had a divorce here. Like his Alabama preacher?
Starting point is 01:12:55 Yeah. And then. Oh, wow. Yeah. He was like, I've never dealt with that before. And so then he went back to L.A. and it was like a whole team had to get him divorced. He was like, yeah, one preacher got me in.
Starting point is 01:13:06 Four lawyers, three other. lawyers, a pre-nup, everything got me into the next one. So yeah, check it out. It's all up on the Bobbycast. Go search for it.
