But if you ever reach a point where you're banging your head against the wall and it doesn't feel fun anymore, it's okay to quit. If you saw it written down, it would not be an inspiration. It would not be on a calendar of, you know, the cat. Just hang in there. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:02:56 It would not be. Right. It wouldn't be that. There's a lot of luck. Listen to thanks, Dad. on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. What's up, everybody? Welcome to Wednesday show.
Starting point is 00:03:21 Morning studio. Morning. We're going to try to cook a steak in the dishwasher, which sounds weird, but we heard it and we saw it on TikTok. So I have a steak in my hand here. Does it matter who we got the steak from? Or do we just buy it from a store, Scuba? We got it from Morgan reached out to Sam Hunt's brother. It's his ranch.
Starting point is 00:03:39 Yeah, it's Sam Hunt's brother. His name's Ben, and it's their ranch. Brother! Yeah, it's his brother. I thought it was his cousin, but it's his brother. Yeah. Okay. You questioned it and then you said, yeah, like you knew it the whole time.
Starting point is 00:03:51 Because we talked to shoot. Amy's like, brother? Yeah. Because when we talked about him the other day, we said cousin, so I've been DMing him and I'm like, your cousin, your cousin, your cousin. It's his brother. But then you act like you knew it was the brother. I don't know. Okay.
Starting point is 00:04:07 So we had this steak here that Eddie is going to cook in the dishwasher. This is going to fall on me. Well, yeah, because you're the, you're not. the grill king of the show. Yeah, there's no grill, dude. This is a dishwasher. I know, but there's this guy. He's a barb-he calls himself a barbecue expert. An Australian barbecue expert has tested the dishwasher's culinary potential by cooking the perfect steak inside his dishwasher. And so this is from the under-seasoned barbecue podcast. They started off as an April Fool's prank, but it turns out you can really do this. Hit it. This thing went in for an
Starting point is 00:04:38 hour and a half. When I pulled this thing out, it was coast to coast, 50 degrees rare, the whole way through. Okay, I just want to point out, though, that you cooked it with dishes, too. Yeah, I put it through an actual cycle. Mind you, I didn't put soap in the wash just in case, you know, just in case that might have penetrated the bag. Okay, so we're going to give you the steak. Mm-hmm. And this is a pretty big one here. That is. Is that a New York? It's a beef boneless New York strip. That's good stuff. Wow. It is 1.37 pounds. straight from the farm What's that?
Starting point is 00:05:16 Still moving. Okay, here you go. Okay. So cut it open. So we're going to check with Eddie in a second. No, no, we're going to open the packet, don't you? No, I don't think so. You could get it in a different seal.
Starting point is 00:05:27 Whoa, whoa, whoa. You put it in the plastic? This is sealed already, so you just do it like this, baby. Oh, our brains are fully getting microplasticed on this one. We're all afterward. Well, you're going to have to put it in something. Oh, yeah. Because it can't get wet.
Starting point is 00:05:40 Yeah, but. Yeah. Well, let's just give it a run. This feels sus. So we're throwing it in for 90 minutes. Walk to the dishwasher. Call us from the phone. We'll check in with that in a second. He's going to walk to the dishwasher.
Starting point is 00:05:50 We'll get this going. In the dishwasher. This thing went in for an hour and a half. When I pulled this thing out, it was coast to coast, 50 degrees rare the whole way through. Mate, I didn't want this to work, and it was unreal. Even the fat was so perfectly rendered. Like that knuckle of fat that runs through the middle of the scotch, it was butter. So Eddie, you're going to put this in for an hour.
Starting point is 00:06:11 hour and 20 minutes? Yes, we have the dishwasher at work. It's already loaded. There's dishes in here and everything. So I'm just going to put the steak right next to some bowls if that's cool. That's fine because the guy also had dishes in his when he did it. So, okay, so go ahead and we'll listen to you. We've all heard this sound 10,000 times, but put the steak in. Here, let me make some room here because there's bowls. Are they dirty or clean at least? I'm not sure. There's a spoon that looks a little suss, but the rest looks kind of clean. If anything, like suss, everything is suss in a dishwasher. Exactly. Okay. Go ahead.
Starting point is 00:06:45 Okay. Put it in there. I'm closing the dishwasher. Sending it right there and it's a normal wash and I'm going to hit start. Now put your phone and rolling. It's going. Put your phone in the dishwasher so we can hear it spraying it. Wait, no, but if I open it, it'll stop. Okay. Do you hear that? No, we've heard a dishwasher plenty of times. Okay, so. Okay, here go. Listen to this. Listen to this. You hear that? No, literally nothing.
Starting point is 00:07:10 Okay. All right. It's going. Trust me. Okay, so we have the steak in the dishwasher. We will check back in an hour and we will see if we can eat this steak. Who's seen if we can eat it? We'll spin the wheel. Yeah, who's eating it? Okay, thanks, Eddie.
Starting point is 00:07:23 Come on back in, chef. Hello, Bobby Bones. My boyfriend and I've been together for almost two years. Things are great. But I thought neither one of us was ready to settle down. Recently, we were out in the middle of the bar. He dropped to one knee and proposed. I said yes and people cheered.
Starting point is 00:07:57 The more I think about it, the more I wonder if we should get married. Do I confess that I got caught up in the moment and that alcohol had a role? Or just see if we accidentally stumbled into the real deal. Signed accidentally a fiancé. Well, I would say that accidentally stumbling into the real deal is not the way to go. So I want to for sure go, that's not it. Now, you could have got caught up in the alcohol and said yes, but you also could mean yes, but if you're questioning it, you didn't mean yes.
Starting point is 00:08:28 Right. And if you go back and you talk to him about it, you're like, hey, I didn't mean yes. That's going to be the healthy thing to do, but it is going to set the relationship back about a half a step. And that doesn't mean you can't fully get back to where you were and even better. But it is going to back it off a bit. Oh, he might break up with her. Yep, yeah.
Starting point is 00:08:44 But that doesn't mean you're not going to get back together. That doesn't mean you're not going to have some realization of where you really are. This could be a... The beginning of the end. Or the end of the beginning. and it actually is setting you up for the next chapter of being together because it's almost that now we have to make a decision. Do we move on and just stay together but actually have intention with it or do we just keep party
Starting point is 00:09:05 into the couple, which sounds like you're doing? You can't just see if you accidentally stumbled into the real deal because then you're going to end up married or miserable and sounds risky. Somebody gets pregnant. It probably ain't him. So you have to go back and you have to say, hey, this isn't for me. Now, it's up to you how you do that. Like, you can even do the, I wouldn't even do that.
Starting point is 00:09:28 Let's extend the engagement. I would just say, I don't want to be engaged. We can't be engaged. I was drunk. I shouldn't have said yes. And if you want to say, I think in the future, you know, we talk about it, but I shouldn't have said yes. Because again, he's going to be embarrassed.
Starting point is 00:09:42 He bought a ring. Oh, yeah. It's going to set the relationship back a bit. But you may need to go back a bit in order to go forward. So this could be a good thing or it could be the death of it. But you cannot go. go forward. Right. Don't just like... You cannot go forward. Not. That's like going forward and you're like hoping for the best.
Starting point is 00:09:59 But also you're not the victim here either because it's kind of a little bit like she's painted that she's the victim. You were drunk and said yes. Yeah. So you kind of did it. So when it doesn't go right, yeah, but don't stumble into the real deal because most of that stumbling, you don't end up on your feet. Okay. Thank you. Thanks for emailing us. Lunchbox, what happened with you and your wife? So our anniversary was a few days ago. happy 10 year anniversary to me thanks guys how are we supposed to know that yeah we don't know you guys were all there
Starting point is 00:10:28 oh the wedding we kept in our calendar when we went to your wedding 10 years ago yeah I'd assume that that's a big deal happy 10 year anniversary bro thank you it was a big moment in your life my life and so during the day I got done work and it was a beautiful day so I went and played golf
Starting point is 00:10:45 because I was like man it's a beautiful day whatever let's get some swings in did you know it was your 10 year anniversary I did some listeners hit me online and said, hey, happy 10 year anniversary. You didn't know other than that? No. And so I wouldn't play golf and then I guess my wife was annoyed by it.
Starting point is 00:11:04 You want to hear what she has to say? I don't understand. I don't get why she's mad. It's your 10 year anniversary. But it's during the day. Maybe it's because you didn't even run by her. Okay, let me just, I haven't heard this yet. Play lunchbox's wife, please.
Starting point is 00:11:18 Tell them why you're mad. Well, I'm mad because it was her anniversary and you went and played golf. I wouldn't play golf during the day. It's not like I golfed all night. I think we should have been spending as much time as we could have together. And the kids were in school, and we could have been hanging out all day. And you weren't here. But part of marriage is like doing stuff that you enjoy, right?
Starting point is 00:11:42 I hadn't played golf all week. One day that I thought we would be spending most of the day together, and you were not here for like five hours. Congratulations on 10 years. Congratulations. I think you're being ridiculous. Okay. Do you guys agree?
Starting point is 00:11:59 I guess we won't see 11. Let's go. He asked the kids if they agree. Well, and then I'll just say, congratulations. I mean, you go first. I mean, like, I don't understand his thinking. And I don't know how she has. Okay, I know what I want to say.
Starting point is 00:12:18 She has the most patience of any wife in all the land. So lunchbox, you need to make it up to her and do something. honestly, she kind of just said you may not make it to 11. Lunchbox, and I guess your side of the argument is it was in the daytime, but you could be back home at night. Right. And that's when celebrations happen in your mind? Usually. Only at night.
Starting point is 00:12:38 Yeah. When are you most romantic at night? No, you're thinking romantic different, though. You're thinking of naked. Well, yeah. Yeah. I mean, who goes on? Like, couples don't go on like romantic lunch dates.
Starting point is 00:12:50 But they can if the kids are away. If that's the only few hours. I would say the issue here. here is you didn't know. One, it was your 10-year anniversary. And then two, you didn't go, hey, do you care if I go play golf in the day and we do something at night? I think intention is the biggest part of this.
Starting point is 00:13:04 You had no intention. Heck, you had no knowledge of it. But you had no intention with her to go, I know it's her 10-year anniversary. We're going to do this in the evening. We've got a sitter. And I've planned this for you. Instead, you go and play golf, you disappear. Then you come home and you're like, congratulations.
Starting point is 00:13:18 I think that's the problem. Yeah, but what did she plan? Great question. If and you guys. his marriage, everything is supposedly equal. But she did know it was your 10 year anniversary. She did know that. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:13:32 Yeah. And so, I mean, she was just a little perturbed. I could feel the, what do you call it, the cold shoulder. And I was just like, okay, why are you mad? And that's when I found out. She was mad because I golfed. No, no, no. She wasn't mad because you golf all the time.
Starting point is 00:13:47 It wasn't about the golf. She was mad because you didn't, one, acknowledge it. And two, explain to her what your intentions were. You were going to golf in the day, but then you had intentions and a plan for that evening. It's not about the golf, but the golfing is what got you in trouble because you didn't talk about it with her. And you just disappeared and you didn't know it was your anniversary. Yeah, because, I mean, I look at it like when you go to a restaurant during the day, they have all the lights up. When you go at night, they have them a little dimmer.
Starting point is 00:14:13 You know, they make it a little more romantic. So if you go in the day, it's kind of like, it's just like hanging out with buddies. But maybe she wanted time without the kids. That could have been true. Eddie? I mean, this is tough because I like golf. Yeah, but it's not tough. It's not about golf.
Starting point is 00:14:25 You can't make it be about golf. And I understand wanting to play golf on a beautiful day. These days, we don't get a lot of beautiful days. Correct. A lot of rain. However, however, I do think lunchbox should have asked his wife. Is it okay if I go play golf? I know it's our anniversary.
Starting point is 00:14:39 The fact that he didn't mention it was his anniversary. What a dummy. He got mad at us for not reminding him when he had to be reminded by our listeners. Yeah, our listeners know everything. You messed up. Now, you could have done this. Hey, I know our anniversary, it's a week when you said it was a week day. But this weekend, I've planned this for our anniversary.
Starting point is 00:14:59 I want to play golf today if that's okay. That would probably gone, but perfect. Oh, yeah, I could have done that. Now maybe I'll surprise her with something. Maybe we'll do something. That's good. I bet you don't, but you should. Yeah, maybe I'll make a tenor reservation somewhere.
Starting point is 00:15:11 A what? A dinner reservation. I heard tenor. I'm going to go team wife on this, but I think you can learn from this. It's mostly just about being more intentional, a little bit more deliberate, and just communicating what you're doing. Amy? Team wife.
Starting point is 00:15:26 Eddie? Gosh. No, it's like gosh. There's no gosh because you like golf. I'll go team wife. Yeah, you lost that one, but you can bounce back. It's time for the good news. With Bobby.
Starting point is 00:15:37 Tell me something good. Before becoming a rising star on the University of Tennessee's football team, cornerback Ricky Gibson attended Hewitt Trustful High School in Alabama. Obviously, he played football there. Now he's preparing for another big season with Tennessee, but he took some time away from his workouts to go back to his high school, where he surprised the high school coaches and players with a donation of thousands of dollars.
Starting point is 00:16:01 Now, because the rules have changed to college football, players are allowed to earn money off the field. They call that NIL money. And because he is such a success, he's got a little influx of cash. So he took some of that cash, and he donated to the high school football team that he played. That's awesome.
Starting point is 00:16:14 That's pretty cool. So you're not going to hear me singing Rocky Top to all of our Tennessee listeners, but I will say that's pretty cool. I love it. And Ricky Gibson, he seemed like a pretty good kid. All right, there you go. that's what it's all about.
Starting point is 00:16:26 That was Tell Me Something Good. I'll play you a classic slogan to a product or a company. Classic. So older versions, you just have to name who it is. This one's so easy. Here's the example. Even if you didn't know that, you should get that. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:16:48 It's pepper. Oh, that's the opposite of salt. Oh, those doctors pepper? No, it's Dr. Pepper. Oh. That's right. I'm just kidding. That's old, though.
Starting point is 00:16:56 We never even heard that commercial. Okay, so write your answer down. if you miss it, you're out. Everybody's in. Number one. Like a good neighbor. I'm in. I'm in for the win. I'm in. Amy?
Starting point is 00:17:10 State Farm. Lunchbox? State Farm. Eddie? I have State Farm. Everybody stays in. Good job. Next one.
Starting point is 00:17:17 Double your pleasure, double your fun. Men. Double your pleasure. Double your fun. I'm in for the win. I'm in. Could also be for Vegas. That's true.
Starting point is 00:17:33 Yeah. Double it up. Amy. Double mint gum. Lunchbox. Double mint gum. Eddie. Double mint gum.
Starting point is 00:17:41 Correct. Next one. I'm in for the win. Amy. Burger King. Lunchbox? Burger King. Eddie.
Starting point is 00:17:59 Burger King. Correct. The challenge is going to be that they're older. Because everybody knows having your way Burger King. Sure. But that was like black and white. It's sung differently now. Old people singing, yeah.
Starting point is 00:18:10 All right. Next up. I don't want to grow up. I'm in for the win. In. Amy? Toys R Us. Lunchbox?
Starting point is 00:18:20 Toys R Us. Eddie? Toys R Us. Correct. Next one. It's got to be. This is it. That's where the road ends.
Starting point is 00:18:32 This is where everybody goes down. It's so hot. You've got to be. Do say goodbye. What in the world? I'm in. It's got to be. Uh-oh.
Starting point is 00:18:53 Three seconds. I'm in for the wind. lunchbox it's got to be uh-oh for spaghettios amy spaghetti oh i have spaghettios that's correct uh-oh scurgetios good job next one I'm in for the wind I'm in for the wind I'm in oh I'm in I'm in La-plop, fizz, oh, what a relief it is. Starting point is 00:19:29 Alka-Seltzer? Lunchbox? I put Alka-Seltzer. Eddie? Alka-Seltzer. That's correct. That's correct. Next?
Starting point is 00:19:45 Yeah, that kind of hits. That still hits hard. I've never heard that in life. Well, I understand what it's saying, but... Me too. I just got a concert and wait for this song. All right. I'm in for the win.
Starting point is 00:20:08 Amy? Long John Silver's? Lunchbox? Where do you get that filetal fish at McDonald's? Because it comes back every once in a while. Eddie? McDonald's, Philo Fish. It's McDonald's.
Starting point is 00:20:18 Wow. I've never heard the song. Neither of I. But fletia fish, yeah, that's their own. I don't know. Hit it again. Give me back that filial fish. Damn.
Starting point is 00:20:32 That's good. Two remain. Lunchbox and Eddie. Next. Sometimes you feel like a nut. Sometimes you don't. I'm in. I'm in for the win.
Starting point is 00:20:51 The lunchbox. Grape nuts. No. Eddie for the win. Planters. No for the loss. Almond joy's got nuts. Mounds don't. Because sometimes you feel like a nut.
Starting point is 00:21:05 Sometimes. Okay. You're out. We're all out. Now we have sudden death. Oh. Okay, okay, okay. So what does that mean?
Starting point is 00:21:13 I mean, sing it with me. Give me back to fillet of fish. Give me that fish. One more time. Give me back the fillet fish. Give me that fish. Okay, I'll do three. Buzz in with your name.
Starting point is 00:21:23 Okay, here we go. Soon as they yell their name, turn it down. Here we go, number one. Choosy mothers, choose. What the? Lunchbox. That was a little overmodulated. Lunchbox.
Starting point is 00:21:31 Jeff. Correct. How did you hear that? Choosy about that. That's all I heard. Would you play that a little lower? Choosy mothers, choose. Okay.
Starting point is 00:21:41 Jeff is correct. If lunchbox gets this, he wins. And go. Eddie. Eddie. Toys, I don't know. Oh, no. Go ahead.
Starting point is 00:21:50 No, play it. I'm a big kid now. Lunchbox Lunchbox He's guys Hugies Him back to playoff there You want the last two

Starting point is 00:28:10 We're trying to cook that steak just by putting it in the dishwasher. Eddie, have you opened it yet? Nope. I'm waiting on you guys. All right. Open her up. Hey, don't reach in immediately, though, because I've learned the hard way. You can't go right in with a steam because you'll burn your hand.
Starting point is 00:28:24 All right. Okay, okay. I'm opening the door now. Go ahead. Okay. Oh, it is steamy. Oh, no. Why the oh, no?
Starting point is 00:28:31 Well, it looks like it shriveled up a little bit. Okay, but that's what a steak does, though. Shriveled. Yeah. Well, can you grab it by the plastic and bring it in here? Bones, I can grab the whole thing. It's not that hot. What do you mean?
Starting point is 00:28:43 I'm worried this is undercooked. No, the guy in the TikTok said that that's plenty of time. Okay. I'll bring it to you guys so you can see this, but this does not look cooked. Hey, walk it in, we'll stay on the air. Okay. Okay, here comes, Eddie. I mean, just to give you an idea.
Starting point is 00:29:01 idea. Bones, I'm holding it in my hand and it's not hot. Uh-oh. I would say lukewarm at least. Is it dishwasher broken? No, it was working. I mean, the steam did come out when I opened the dishwasher. Oh, boy. That looks like you just got an refrigerator. That right there. Dude, that's what I'm saying. It's like covered in blood. I'm not eating that. I'm good. I'll pass. Can we put it in for another cycle? I think we should. What, another hour and a half? I, aye, aye. You're going to eat like all day with that. Let's put it in for another cycle.
Starting point is 00:29:37 Put it on for, put it on. Is there a sanitized cycle? Because that water probably gets real hot. Or maybe you need to sear it and that's what it finishes it off. Well, I mean, I do have the thing to sear with. I think that's what we need to do. So we brought a little mini grill to sear it. So take it, cut it open, drain the blood.
Starting point is 00:29:53 Yeah, drain a lot. And this is the bit, guys. We have to do it. We have to eat it like that? Well, sear it. And to sear it, let's look up the eff. Because I know what searing is, but there has to be like an official definition of searing. Well, I'm just going to sear it until it looks like a steak.
Starting point is 00:30:06 No. No. That's too much. That's called cooking it. You go, puss. Yes. What is the... The steak does not look good.
Starting point is 00:30:15 A cooking technique where you quickly heat the surface of the meat at a high temperature to create a brown crust. It looks like no more than 30 to 45 seconds on each side. Okay. Deal. Can we reach a deal, go a minute each side? Just one minute. I don't know if 30 seconds is going to do it for that. That's not the point.
Starting point is 00:30:35 Okay. Take the bag out, cut it open, drain all the blood, set up the grill. We'll sear this and see which one of us gets trachianosis. Someone's going to die. Next. Okay. Any chance for any reason that the smoke detectors, fire alarms go off? Oh, yeah, for sure.
Starting point is 00:30:54 There's definitely a chance of that. Oh, no. Because, I mean, it's... Should we do this in the studio then? I don't think so. Okay, so we tried to cook a steak in the dishwasher. It was in there for an hour and 15 minutes. It came out and not looking good.
Starting point is 00:31:06 It looks like it still should be bought at the store. Yeah. But, okay, some people like rare steak. So Eddie's going to walk over, and we're going to sear this for 45 seconds on each side because searing is allowed. And, I mean, if water starts to spray in here, we're screwed. What do you mean? Oh, I don't think we don't have sprinklers like that.
Starting point is 00:31:28 Scoob, are there sprinklers in here? There are. Those little small circles are sprinklers. He said there are. Maybe we should open that door for. But people are outside there yelling. All the time to shut up. And then, so we can do this. Okay, Eddie, cut it open.
Starting point is 00:31:38 All right, here we go. Don't get blood on the carpet. You got to bleep Eddie out for saying anyways. That's how messed up we are right now. We're worried about we're going to start a fire in the studio. You didn't drain it. I asked Scoobie while the blood wasn't drained. He said you were going to use it for your juice.
Starting point is 00:31:59 Oh, look, hey, there's two steaks in here. I didn't realize. Okay, well, oh, that is not cooked. Okay. I'll just cook one, dude. Just cook one. Oh, no. Just one. Okay, let's start the timer. And, counting up. So we'll do, here's what we're going to do. Do we want to season this?
Starting point is 00:32:17 I just, guys. I would like to season it with removing disease. Is that a season? No. No. No, it's not a seasoning. Great. Now my hair is going to smell like I ordered fajitas at a Mexican restaurant. And it comes out with the sizzle. Bachi.
Starting point is 00:32:33 Oh, gosh. So do you want me to season this bad boy? Yeah, you have 20 seconds. A little sprinkle, nothing crazy. Okay. It does smell pretty good. And then we'll spend the wheel to see who eats it.
Starting point is 00:32:48 Oh, I don't know about it. Oh, man. I'm not even this. I don't know about that. Okay. And 10 seconds, Eddie. Okay. You hear the sizzle?
Starting point is 00:32:56 Yeah, just a little seer. You can put that mic down on a little closer though if you need. Just for listen to that sound. See that. All right. And that is seared on that side. Blipper.
Starting point is 00:33:08 Oh my goodness. Actually, it doesn't look bad. It's starting to come together. Stop. So you can season the other side and do it for ten more seconds though. Since you didn't season that side. Okay. Perfect. But this is how. Guys, we're about the smell. It's not bad.
Starting point is 00:33:22 There's smoke, though. I'm for sure. We're about to get wet. This is how we get in trouble for I've already been fine a million bucks. I'd rather not destroy the building. All right, here we go. We got 20 seconds. Guys, it's starting to look like a real steak. Was it looking edible?
Starting point is 00:33:42 Yeah, could you eat a steak this way without doing the dishwasher part? Well, that show you watch, the guy that ate that raw meat. The liver king. Yeah. That's this. Yeah. 10 seconds. And then you can give it 10 seconds on the other side since you put the seasoning on it. It smells good, guys.
Starting point is 00:33:59 All right, and flip it, sear it. Okay. I mean, sides still look Very pink. Now, I don't like raw, or not raw, a rare state. It's pretty rare. This is basically steak tartar. I don't mind that, though.
Starting point is 00:34:18 Ew. I don't, I like time. I like tar tar. You do? I just like this clean. Okay, put on the plate. It's on the plate. Okay, bring it on over here.
Starting point is 00:34:26 Let me cut in the middle. Ew. It looks like an eraser. You know the pink ones? It's like a proper eraser. We didn't get this thing out of here. Okay, I'm going to cut into the steak.
Starting point is 00:34:44 Okay, let us know how it is. Oh, boy. Amy, that's a great description. It looks like an eraser. Yes. Okay, I'm cutting. Is it tough? What's the texture? Look like an easy cut. It's pretty tough.
Starting point is 00:34:59 But so is red a good color? Like, I don't know of rare is this. I mean, that's not. like very rare. Extremely rare. Oh no, you're not. Go for it.
Starting point is 00:35:12 It's got to be okay. Somebody's got to do it. Why do you say it's got to be okay when you wouldn't do it? Because people eat raw meat. Oh. Oh. Well, why? Just stick the whole thing in your mouth.
Starting point is 00:35:23 Chewy? It looks raw. Oh, he spit it out. He spit it out. Did it like a teeny tiny bite and then he spit it out. You guys screwed with me. That tastes like salmon. Oh my gosh. Shut up. It's not salmon.
Starting point is 00:35:35 I don't. I'll fine. I'll try it. Whoa. Are you crazy? No? Take a look. Okay.
Starting point is 00:35:42 Send it over to Amy. Hey, waiter. Would you mind sending this over to table two? Thank you. No problem. I'll just use the same fork. You're really going to eat that? I mean, nothing touched my mouth with a fork, so how about it?
Starting point is 00:35:58 This is the Bobby Bone Show. It is very weird. Okay, we cooked this steak in the dishwasher. For an hour and a half. I'm going to get right in the middle. Bro, it even looks like salmon. I'm just going to take the bite, you know? Just going to put the whole thing in your mouth?
Starting point is 00:36:15 Go ahead. Ready? She did a whole bite. Oh, my goodness. Guys. That's not bad. Does it taste like salmon? I could have just thought salmon, so it tastes like salmon.
Starting point is 00:36:28 Because I hate even rare. I like it medium well with A1. This is not. I don't eat this way. Yeah. at all. I don't hate it. All right, let me try it. Okay. Let me try it. And there's not, I get that it's still pink and
Starting point is 00:36:43 stuff, but it's not like there's blood coming out when you cut into it. And I feel like sometimes even when you have it more cooked than that. Does anyone like rare steak, though? No. I do medium rare. I don't. I get well done. And that wasn't terrible to me. Okay. Okay, so I would
Starting point is 00:36:59 never pass on a good steak. So. And that is a good steak. We just might not have cooked it appropriately. Right. Yeah. It's. Amy, how big was your bite? It was smaller in the... Hey, mine was a tiny, teeny, tiny. All right. All right, here's Ed and here's. Yeah, Bobby's was like the size
Starting point is 00:37:15 of a... Oh, man. Definitely red. Pinky now. It's smaller, actually. It was smaller. Not bad. Yes. It's not bad. So did I let it just freak me out?
Starting point is 00:37:28 You want to try it again? No. You got all up in your head. Yeah, I'm good. I'm good. I mean, if you really say it's good. Take a big bite, though. We need to really get some taste in there. I mean, if you guys are eating it, I'm telling you, it's not bad. Like, maybe the dishwasher did something in the inside. Oh, there's some blood coming out. This is the ultimate peer pressure.
Starting point is 00:37:45 Well, if you guys are doing it, I guess I might as well. Mine didn't have. Here we go. Big bite. Wow, that's a big one. That's a hunger. Stick it in. Go ahead.
Starting point is 00:37:52 Stick that meat in the mouth. Here we go. Okay. That's a big piece. That's what she said. Go ahead. It doesn't taste like dishwasher. Well, yeah, because it was a plastic in a plastic bat.
Starting point is 00:38:05 Oh, so now we just have microplastics in our body, but it's fine. That's fine. We already did. Gosh. I don't know. I'm going to be out of you. Really? Bobby, eat it.
Starting point is 00:38:16 Eat it. I just wonder if it's going to make me sick. No. Is it cooked enough? We'll all be sick to get in there. Let's be sick with you guys. Let's Google how rare of steak can you eat. I mean, because this is pretty rare.
Starting point is 00:38:32 Bobby, rare. People eat raw steak. Then how can people get diseased from steak? If it's ground up, you don't want to eat ground meat rare, but a cut of steak is fine. Do we have a thermometer? Because we can eat a rare doneness level around 120 to 130 degree Fahrenheit. That's definitely 120. I would say that's 50.
Starting point is 00:38:52 Sometimes people even like rarer, like blue rare around 115. Yeah, but don't you remember my nephew who's a meat scientist? He came on and told us. Okay, bring it over. You're good. There you go. Bring it over. Man, I'll tell you what.
Starting point is 00:39:03 It's pretty good, huh lunch? Yeah. Yeah, this is like a trick. No, it's good. A hamburger, you go well done. A cut of steak, you're good. Oh, kind of stuck up my chest, though. It's bleeding.
Starting point is 00:39:17 It's bleeding when I cut it. I don't really like that part of it. Tap into your ancestral side. Guys, it's so pink. It's real red. I'm going to freak myself out and think I'm sick all day. Close your eyes. No, I've already seen it.
Starting point is 00:39:33 Wow. You're not going to do it. Well, I did it to start. You did, but that was a little tendency. I started the trend. That was like a nibble, man. I'm out. No, you're not doing it.
Starting point is 00:39:41 I'm out. I'm out. Come on, man. I started the trend, and you guys all follow me, thank you. I'm the leader. But I'm too big of a wimp. I'm not doing that. So if we all get sick and you don't, we know it's a steak.
Starting point is 00:39:52 100%. Yeah. That's a good point. Okay, well, what do we think? Do we think the dishwasher can cook a steak? No, I think the searing did it. Yeah, the searing only did the outside of it. The real test would be.
Starting point is 00:40:04 be if somebody takes a bite of the other one that's still in the bag. No, no one's touching that. I'm out. I'm out on that. Eat the bag. Eat the bag. Eat the bag. Because this is quality meat from, um...
Starting point is 00:40:19 Yeah, but the searing only does the outside edge. The searing has nothing to do with the middle of it. Yeah. It didn't cook it at all, really. What, Morgan? Yeah, we need to shout out the meat. Yeah, Sam had's brother. But the name of his farm...
Starting point is 00:40:28 Sam Hunt Farms. All right. So, do we or do we not think this works? I say no. No chance. What if we did it for two hours? Let's try it. We have the other piece.
Starting point is 00:40:39 But the bag's open now. That's true. We need another bag. Okay. We're going to go with don't try this at home. Yeah, let's go with that. Do not try this at home. Thank you.
Starting point is 00:40:48 Here's the voicemail we got yesterday. Hey, lunchbox. Don't be upset about not being chosen for Wheel of Fortune. The reason why you weren't picked and Eddie was is because you would only go on the celebrity edition. Eddie's not a celebrity like you are. Remember, you're in the top 30 most famous. famous in Nashville and everybody recognizes you. Eddie doesn't have to worry about that.
Starting point is 00:41:09 So when they do a celebrity edition, you're in, my man. How does that make you feel? I mean, that is a valid point, but I could still, celebrities can still go on the regular show, I believe. I don't think so now. And they just finished a celebrity season. Oh, yeah. So they must have just missed me.
Starting point is 00:41:24 Yeah, so our friend Brent Michaels, who runs some stations in Bakersville, California, has been on game show. So they message him and go, hey, who do you know that's good? And so he suggested Eddie. He did not suggest lunchbox. And so the listeners have also been demanding an update. Do you know this at lunchbox? No, I don't know any update.
Starting point is 00:41:43 I don't care. Are you being serious? You really don't care. Hey, can lunchbox walk out of the room then? No, I care. No, no, no, no, no. We can have a walk out of the room. I'm not leaving.
Starting point is 00:41:53 Go ahead. He does care. He does care. Have you gotten a call from Los Angeles? I got a call yesterday. Unknown. Lunchbox? Do you care?
Starting point is 00:42:05 Go ahead. Go ahead. It was an unknown call, and I'd never answer unknown calls. Got it. It didn't even have the number on it. That's how unknown it was. It just said unknown. So I said, I got to get this.
Starting point is 00:42:14 This could be Hollywood. I pick it up. Vanderbilt Medical Center. Oh. Ha! Yes. Yes. I think I owe money for my broken arm. Yes.
Starting point is 00:42:24 Oh, you haven't paid that bill yet? No, I haven't paid that yet. So I think they're calling. You get on that because I'll change you down. Yeah, yeah. Collection agency. I mean, I thought it was Hollywood, though. Well, it's only been a few.
Starting point is 00:42:33 few days. So are you doing anything to get yourself ready for Will of Fortune? Absolutely. One, I'm watching a lot of Wheel of Fortune on TV. Like, if you go on Hulu and search Wheel of Fortune, all the episodes come up. I've been watching that and I downloaded the app. Dude, I'm on that app all day. Practicing. And I'm nailing, nailing these puzzles. You already were pretty good. Before you guys knew this was even an option. Lunchbox said he was a one out of ten at that game. And you said you were a seven out of ten. Right. Would you be willing to give up your spot to lunchbox if we could beat you? Like what do you mean?
Starting point is 00:43:04 Like beat me here? Yeah. No. Oh, okay. No. No, why would I do that? Because you're chicken. No, I am going.
Starting point is 00:43:13 My name's already in the hopper. So, no, I'm not giving that up. Fair enough. Let us know of Hollywood calls. Gosh, you almost got. I was like, oh my, they called already. I was really getting mad. But you don't care, dude.
Starting point is 00:43:23 You don't care? I don't care. I don't care either, but I was mad. Oh, it's so annoying. I got a feeling it's not going to happen next week, but it's going to happen the week after that. The call? Yep.
Starting point is 00:43:32 Okay. What do you mean? Do you know something? I got a feeling it's not going to happen next week, but it's going to happen. You're going to get a call the week after that. He's got a feeling. I got a feeling. Mazel tov.
Starting point is 00:43:42 It's time for the good news. With lunchbox. Tell me something good. Tom Manacelsko is 85 years old. And in 2019, he retired. He was an engineer his whole life. And he's like, what am I going to do next? And he had degrees from many of universities.
Starting point is 00:44:01 But he's like, my dad. When I was a kid wanted me to go to Rutgers University. So he's like, I think I'm going to get me a master's degree. He enrolled, started taking more engineering classes. And now, at 85 years old, he is the oldest person in the history of Rutgers University to walk across that stage and get a diploma. That's cool. That's cool. Does it inspire you?
Starting point is 00:44:24 No, my dad's dream was never for me to go to UTSA. Mostly just because you got to the very end. you're one class short of having your degree. Yeah, maybe when I retire and then I... You think you don't want to do that, go work and learn? No, you will. All you talk about is wanting to retire so you can do nothing. That's what I'm saying.
Starting point is 00:44:42 This guy retired is when he did it. So I'm saying maybe when I'm retired and I don't have anything to do and I have a lot of spare time. But right now, there's no inspiration to go back to school. It's not about going back to school. It's just finishing the degree. You really don't care. I mean, I don't care if you do it.
Starting point is 00:44:58 But it's like a personal, like your... film it like you run 25 miles of a marathon and you're like you know what I'm done no it really doesn't bother me because I walked the stage I did the whole graduation thing I got to experience everything that every other graduate did I got to hug the president of the university I'm supposed to shake his hand I hugged him and I mean it's just I don't need to do it I got pictures of me in a cap and gown did you have a party afterwards yeah that's what I'm saying like he's got a point he's got a point at all yeah yeah I did I did you list on your resume as a graduate? I did when I applied for that job with the national soccer, the MLS team that I didn't
Starting point is 00:45:35 get. What if they checked and they found out that you lied on your resume and that's why they didn't hire you? Well, that's tomato tomato. That's not what that saying means. All right, anyway, good story. That's what it's all about. That was tell me something good. Now time for the morning corny. Morning corny. What do you call a murder at the DMV? What do you call a murder at the DMV? license to kill that was the morning corny do you get help sell it if you're just like going on it
Starting point is 00:46:11 she does think that like the celebration of it yeah Amy I'm going to run a scenario by you tell me what you would have done in the same scenario okay okay you walk into the women's bathroom and you go into a stall and it looks like
Starting point is 00:46:25 she's used the bathroom and she didn't flush it you don't know who it is but she used the bathroom and she didn't flush it. Now, what do you do? Do you just turn around and walk away or do you flush it for the person? That's no longer there.
Starting point is 00:46:38 It's my only stall option. No, no, no. There's a lot of options, actually. But do you flush it or do you just leave it and walk on? This is so stupid. But there's a point. This is the stupidest argument ever. I know.
Starting point is 00:46:53 So if I need to use the restroom and there's other stall options, I walk in, I'm like, and I turn around, I walk out, and I go to another stall. You guys? Yes. You have to look out for your other people.
Starting point is 00:47:05 Okay. What? What's why I'm looking out for? No way, dude. You walk away from the poop. No, that's the point. You're looking out for anybody else who comes in later. So walked into the bathroom yesterday.
Starting point is 00:47:15 And Eddie's walk, Eddie does a walk in, turn around, walk back out. And what did I tell you? You were like, somebody destroyed that toilet. Don't go in there. And I said, flush it. All you do is hit a button and flush it so somebody else after you can use it. And I said, I'm not getting near that thing.
Starting point is 00:47:31 Did you look at it? All you have to do is hold your nose and hit the button. And then you have made it better for somebody else. I think there was a reason why the person that didn't got out of there so quick and didn't flush it. Now, the only, well, somebody's going to have to flush it. It's either going to be the next person in who needs to use it or a cleaning person. And that way, then it sat in there for an hour. It smelled up the room or it's made that toilet even more disgusting than someone's got to clean.
Starting point is 00:47:57 You have to look out for your other people. You understand that lunchbox saw it Mike D saw it? What? You guys saw it? We all saw it. There was no way I was going near it. Here's my thing.
Starting point is 00:48:08 Going near it, it's not a nuclear bomb. How do I know? How do I know? It looked like it. And the person that did it didn't even flush. And they ran out of that bathroom so fast. I don't know what happened. And I was like, you know what?
Starting point is 00:48:19 That's not my mess. Because I'm scared that maybe the toilet is clogged. And if I flush it, here it comes. Oh, gosh. I think you can run away fast enough if it starts to come out of you. Not taking a lot. Not taking a chance. I would just like to say this.
Starting point is 00:48:31 And if you have any sort of like somber music gray where you can play under me as I have this emotional moment with our listeners here, I'd just like to say that if you ever come up on a toilet and that toilet is less than desirable, if you don't flush it, nobody will. That's correct. And if you flush it, that toilet might be available for the next person. And aren't we in life always hoping somebody looks out for us? Yes or no.
Starting point is 00:48:59 Do we hope somebody's looking out for us, even if we don't know? Of course. Yes. You can be that person looking out for somebody else. You look into a toilet you see undesirable. Make it a little more desirable for the next person. Don't be an Eddie. Don't be a lunchbox.
Starting point is 00:49:12 Don't be a Mike D. Don't be an Amy. In this situation? Ray, too. Ray, did you see it? Yeah, but honestly. Oh, my God. What's wrong with all it takes is use your knuckles.
Starting point is 00:49:24 No. Hit the button. No way, man. Oh, what's wrong with everybody? No, there was, that was a hazmat suit. I don't know if it was all the way in the toilet. I think there was also some on the walls and stuff. That's a lie.
Starting point is 00:49:36 You guys are making the story worse. Don't be a ray. I'm going to say this one time and one time only. Be a Bobby. Think of the next person who's coming in. Yeah, it might be a little gross for you, but think of the next person who's coming in. Thank you.
Starting point is 00:49:52 And good night. And that's the rest of the story. And that showbiz, baby. Did you flesh it? Wait, hold on I really don't have the answer to this because I left. I didn't have to go to that toilet. Oh.
Starting point is 00:50:05 I had, I walked in only to wash my hands. Got it. And so I wanted to wash my hands and I was like, because Eddie like did a U-turn in the bathroom. I was like, what's wrong? I ain't going in there. But I gave you a warning too.
Starting point is 00:50:16 I didn't. Hey, doing Eddie. Warn your friend. Exactly. Give it a heads up. Did you give it a look? I didn't go, I didn't go to the bathroom. Let me tell you though.
Starting point is 00:50:25 An hour later, it got cleaned. No, somebody probably just flushed. Anyway, this is disgusting. Interesting. Ray, get me out here. Peter. Peter. A win is a win. I'm working my way up through, and I know it's a place they come look for up-and-coming talent. He said, if it was based solely on talent, I wouldn't worry about you. which is really sweet. Yeah. He goes, but there's so much luck involved. And he's like, just give it a shot.
Starting point is 00:53:13 He goes, but if you ever reach a point where you're banging your head against the wall and it doesn't feel fun anymore, it's okay to quit. If you saw it written down, it would not be an inspiration. It would not be on a calendar of, you know, the cat. Just hang in there. Yeah, it would not be. Right, it wouldn't be that. There's a lot of luck.

This began a years-long court battle to prove the truth.
Starting point is 00:54:38 You doctored this particular test twice in so-ins, correct? I doctored the test ones. It took an army of internet detectives to crack the case. I wanted people to be able to see what their tax dollars were being used for. Sunlight's the greatest disinfected. They would uncover a disturbing pattern. Two more men who'd been through the same thing. Greg Alesbian and Michael Marantini.

I just want to read the temperature of the room, top five movie stars, in your opinion right now. So we all at like three and a half minutes to make the list. It's tough because you're like, oh, that's pretty easy.
Starting point is 00:55:40 But with only a few minutes and no Google, I give you my top five. And number five, Michael B. Jordan. Oh, good. How did I forget him? I forgot about him. Yeah, I have him at five. At four, Chris Pratt, because he can do comedy and serious. Okay.
Starting point is 00:55:55 Oh. At three, Denzel Washington. Oh, yeah. You see him get to a fight with the Botog? Oh, yeah. At that, I don't know what that was. He's proud of them. Awards ceremony or like a film festival.
Starting point is 00:56:06 He fights with photos. What was it? Cains red carpet. Cains. Cains, cons. Oh, the film festival. Yeah. Got it, got it.
Starting point is 00:56:12 Got it. Yeah, yeah. Denzel at three. Tom Hanks at two. Yes. And number one, Timothy Chalamey. He's my number one movie star right now. So, okay, that's mine.
Starting point is 00:56:22 Amy, you go. All mine are way old. I can only think of Tom Hanks, Brad Pitt, Merrill Street. Okay, Brad Pitt. Oh, those are good, though. Those are still good because they're both super relevant. I know, but yours are all very current.
Starting point is 00:56:38 Okay, but there were no rules, but I think Meryl's awesome. And she's still, she's still relevant because she does, like, only murders in the building. Like, okay, go ahead. Okay. Leonardo DiCaprio. Oh, my gosh. Leonardo DiCaprio, how to forget that? He's probably number one.
Starting point is 00:56:55 But who would you take off? And then, Amy, who was number one did you say? Oh, I don't think this is number one, but Bradley Cooper. He's on my list. I didn't know we were going in order. Oh. I just typed it. I just typed them up real quick.
Starting point is 00:57:08 Oh. Okay. Thought we were about Buster. Yeah, but for Google. No, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, okay, uh, Eddie, five, four, three, two one. Five, Tom Hanks. Wow, you put him that low? Because you said current.
Starting point is 00:57:35 So I'm going to go number five, Tom Hanks. Number four, Margo Robbie. That's pretty good one. Big movie star. We've heard of her. Number three, Ryan Gosling. Good. Oh, yeah, good one.
Starting point is 00:57:46 This is where we get crazy, guys. I never thought I'd ever say this in my life. Number two, Zendaya. Great one. That's a great. Huge movie star. That's great. She's just a massive star.
Starting point is 00:57:57 Yeah. And like you, number one, Timothy Shalame. Really? I got a good. What does he do? Everything. Bob Dylan. Zoom?
Starting point is 00:58:06 Or Zoom? Dune. Dune. Yeah. Willie Wonka. Sorry, I watch them on Zoom. My bad. Willie Wonka.
Starting point is 00:58:13 Yeah. Nix fan. Yes. Corside. All the time. Lunchbox. Number five, Tom Hanks. Number four, Chris Pratt.
Starting point is 00:58:22 Oh, wow. Look at us. Number three, the Rock. Good one. The Rock. Number two, Zendaya. And number one, Shalame. Hey.
Starting point is 00:58:30 Wow, we got three Shalemes. Wow. It's a three. dudes is what's funny. Salomey though is very likable for dudes to not get jealous of. Because he's skinny. I was going to say because he's a massive sports fan. Oh, okay. Because he's like relatable.
Starting point is 00:58:44 Like he's not just some weirdo that you never see and he only see him in movies. He's out doing normal things. And he's not like fru-frue and too good for sports. And he's a normal looking dude. Like he looks like us. No, he's good looking. You really? Yeah. Yeah, he's good looking. I don't see it. I don't see it. Are you kidding me? Lunchbox, do you see it? He's dating kindergarten. I know he dates Kendall Jenner.
Starting point is 00:59:05 You'd think if he wasn't a movie star, he would date Kendall Jenner. But nobody, if they didn't have something going on, wouldn't date Kendall Jenner. I don't think he's cute. Whichever one. One of the Jenner's Kylie. Is it Kylie? He's Kylie. Okay, Kylie Jenner, whatever. But nobody would date them if they didn't have something going on. Okay.
Starting point is 00:59:21 Do you think a random, my uncle, the plumber, is going to date Kylie Jenner? No, they got to have something going on. But you got, you look at Brad Pitt. It's a good looking dude. Date it, Angelina Jolie. Right. You understand that. Salome got lucky.
Starting point is 00:59:34 Who's the other tall guy? Lucky. I don't want to fight how good looking he is because I don't care. But I think he's really attractive. Who's the funny guy from S&L? What you're Colin Joseph? Staten Island guy. Oh, Pete Davidson. Like that.
Starting point is 00:59:45 Like if he wasn't a star. They're different. Pete Davidson is way funny. And funny, you can be a little uglier. Okay. Hey, right here. Look at me. Look at me.
Starting point is 00:59:54 Look at me. You can be a little uglier if you're funny. Okay. I bring it up. I wanted to see if anybody would put Tom Cruise in their top five. No chance. Morgan, you would have? I had him.
Starting point is 01:00:03 Yeah, I had him as number three. Tom Cruise, I don't put him there anymore. I think he's aged out of it. And he's gotten weird. And, yeah, I mean, he's aged out of the action star, although he still does a good job at it. I thought the last mission of possible was awesome. Yeah, top gun, too. There's one coming out this Friday.
Starting point is 01:00:23 Really? Yeah, love for go. They're always good. But I don't think of them is really that anymore. But he says he wants to make movies into his hundreds. Okay. Okay. But you know, I just want to make solid bathrooms into my hundreds.
Starting point is 01:00:36 That would be my goal. What we're saying? Clint Eastwood, I mean, he made movies. He's old, right? I don't think he's in his hundreds. Yeah, but he's like 90-something. I think he was making him and directing him in his 90s. And acting in him.
Starting point is 01:00:51 He's 94. Mike, who would you have put, this is a movie Mike from movie Mike's movie podcast. This is probably the real order. I base mine on who's still getting butts in seats right now. So at number five, I had the Rock. Forrest Zendaya, three Shalame, two Tom Cruise and one Leo DiCaprio.
Starting point is 01:01:06 I think Tom Cruise, like, saved the movie industry with Top Gun Maverick. Like, if that movie didn't come out, they wouldn't have made a lot of money that here. I'm not arguing with him because he's movie Mike, but I've also never seen Top Gun Maverick.
Starting point is 01:01:17 Oh, you need to watch that. It's good. At this point, why? Because it's good. Just... It's not like a got old or anything. It's still a good movie. It took me like 25 years to watch the original
Starting point is 01:01:27 Top Gun. I'm kind of holding true to this. I'm going to wait till it's out. Are they doing another one of those two? Not planned yet He seems like he'd be really difficult to work with But you'd also like him at the same time Meaning you like him because you feel like
Starting point is 01:01:40 Everybody says he treats them really well And buys him stuff and his suit But he also makes you train really hard for movies Yeah they're all thrown up training for that movie Like he makes you be a method type actor So who wins Timothy Chalamey Overall from this group Salomey?
Starting point is 01:01:53 Salome made almost Did it make your list? He didn't make my list Morgan and Amy didn't pick Shalamay and the four dudes did Weird. Yeah, I don't know. Y'all have him very top of mind.
Starting point is 01:02:03 It seems. I love him. Bobby's into one. Oh. Take up in the morning. And you turn the radio on and the dials us. Keeps on turn. Didn't you hear.
Starting point is 01:02:20 Eddie and me lunchbox. More game two. Steve Redavit trying to put you through. Mike is right in this week's next bit. Now Bobby's on the mic so you know what this is. I was reading about Jeff Bezos's wedding. Man, it would be awesome to go to. Now, he's the guy that started Amazon.
Starting point is 01:02:45 Him and Lauren Sanchez are going to be planning a $10 million wedding. Wow. Now, let's remove the cartoon. They shouldn't spend that kind of money. Just let it exist, everybody. They can do whatever they want. Yeah, let it exist. That's a lot of money.
Starting point is 01:03:01 They shouldn't do that, though. That's crazy. Open bar for sure, right? I don't know. If they do tickets at that one, I'm just. A ticked. Two drinks. I only had two.
Starting point is 01:03:09 Yeah, $10 million. He's worth $220 billion. Wow. So it'll be in Venice, Italy, at the end of June. The event will host about 200 guests, including Kim Kardashian, Chris Jenner, and Katie Perry, with accommodations costing $500,000 per night. Now, I'm assuming they're going to pay for every single person to get there privately and pay for all their rooms. Oh.
Starting point is 01:03:33 If you have $200 billion. that's got to be part of it. If it's a destination, that's got to be part of it. Yeah, but what's the whole wedding total? 10 million. Okay. I mean, that's a lot of people to fly over there. Yeah, it's a lot.
Starting point is 01:03:47 And to pay for their rooms? I don't know. But I would think with accommodations, they're saying $500,000 per night. That's got to be all in. Oh, I seriously, not per room. Oh, yeah, no, not half a room. Oh, that's what I thought. You know, no, no, no.
Starting point is 01:03:59 You better leave with a suitcase full of $450,000 a night if that's the case. No, no, no, $500,000 per night. Got it. I'm assuming at the minimal just for them on whatever crazy boat, but I'm thinking that's for everybody. Like they probably rent out a, you don't want to say hotel, but some kind of palace or something. The city even.
Starting point is 01:04:18 I know. That's awesome. Rumors of performances by Lady Gaga and Elton John are out there. Although people are going, that's not true, but they don't really want it to be known. The couple aims to keep the celebration intimate. You don't spend 10 million on anything and want it to be intimate. But that would be a pretty cool wedding to go to, wouldn't it? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:04:40 Amazing. Luxury accommodations at the Amon Venice and the Gritty Palace all in. So we found these two places, they're going to spend for everybody $500,000 per night. Okay. So the... I would love to get invited to this. I wonder what the invitation is. So if they have...
Starting point is 01:05:00 Is it a gold bar? It's like you're invited to the Bezos wedding. They have Gaga and Elton John. Like, there's no... DJ, right? Like, that's just the music. I bet you there's a DJ. I bet you there's a band. I bet you they come up and play. Oh my gosh. This is amazing.
Starting point is 01:05:16 It's from Brides Magazine. I don't know what that is. But that would be a really cool wedding to go to. Star power, could you imagine? People there? Yeah, and then it's probably the tier system of how close am I sitting? Good point. And that's going to happen.
Starting point is 01:05:31 Like, I want to sit in the front. Which side do you? And everybody like all the famous people would be on Bezos's side. So they probably won't do the side thing. Just the normal people on his wife's head. Who does Lauren Sanchez know? She went to space with a bunch of famous people. Yeah, you know who she went to space with? Jeff Bezos's people. Yes.
Starting point is 01:05:48 You know who paid for that? Jeff Bezos. I know, but do you think that all of her fellow space women are invited? Because they shared that moment together. Yes. Katie Perry is. So she was in space. Where does Lauren Sanchez come from? Was she just like a news anchor? Great question. I don't want to say just a news anchor, but she, She was in media.
Starting point is 01:06:08 And that's how they met? Like, she interviewed Bezos? Lauren Wendy Sanchez is an Emmy-winning journalist, licensed pilot, and founder of Black Ops Aviation. Wow. The first female owned aerial film production company. Now, I don't know if she did this after she got with Bezos or not, because it's a little lighter if she did this after she had $220 billion in her disposal.
Starting point is 01:06:30 But, yeah, I mean, I think she definitely had created her own path, at least a bit. they were introduced back in 2016 at a release party for Manchester by the sea. Both were still married to their former spouses at the time. Sanchez's ex-husband, in fact, was reportedly the one to introduce her to Bezos with the idea that the two might work together. Oh, boy, did they? Oh, they worked. Yeah, they worked too well.
Starting point is 01:06:52 And Manchester by the sea, that's a movie. Yeah, it's a sad movie. It's a slow one. Yeah. But that's Casey Affleck, I'm like? Yeah. I don't recommend that to people, but it was awesome. It was really good.
Starting point is 01:07:03 Yeah, like it was a good movie, but then you're just like, Well, Dad, and I don't want people to get mad at me because they feel terrible. I have to watch a movie. Oh, Mike. Guess what, guys? What? Eddie. Tell us.
Starting point is 01:07:15 What, Amy? Wait for it. Go ahead. I think she is dyslexic. Okay. Oh, wow. That's amazing. Dyslexic people can marry rich people too.
Starting point is 01:07:26 Wow. Eddie, there's hope for us. We're going to marry rich people. She was diagnosed with dyslexia after a community college teacher helped her. Yeah. Yeah, because it's tough to live with dyslexia. She too navigated her, yeah, her education, not knowing that she had it. That's what, that's what we do.
Starting point is 01:07:45 I'm navigating with one eye, okay? Stop, man. We want to talk about navigating? Not only got one eye and I'm colorblind, okay? Well, happy couple. I hope they make it. Did you get invited? No.
Starting point is 01:07:55 Okay. Just checking, just checking. Okay. You never know. Bobby knows a lot of people. He does. I only know people who know people. Do you know anyone that's big?
Starting point is 01:08:05 invited? I would need to see more of the list. I know Katie Perry. She's terrible about her. You don't like... You don't talk to her either. No. I'd rather take a shovel to my foot.
Starting point is 01:08:17 Oh, gosh. Oh, man. Okay. All right. Thank you. Good luck to the young kids on their marriage. Ah, yes. We talked about Jeff Bezos's wedding a middle to go.
Starting point is 01:08:30 Listen on the podcast. If you missed it, $10 million for the whole wedding. But this has nothing to do with this. that except she is wanting to get her makeup done for her wedding and the woman said it was $125,000 to get her makeup done for the day. This is insane. I want to play you this. This is from TikTok. Go ahead. My friend reached out to a well-known makeup artist just to see like what the pricing would be. So her typical day rate is $25,000 starting out each travel day. It gets worse. Glam for the wedding day. 50,000.
Starting point is 01:09:05 $1,000. Right off the rip, we're spending $125,000. And we haven't even gotten to like travel accommodations or anything. That seems very excessive. You just give it a shot, right? Give what a shot? Just a high price like that. If you have a makeup artist. I think not just a makeup artist.
Starting point is 01:09:24 I think this is an influencer like a famous. It doesn't matter though, $125,000. Are you going to do everybody's makeup in the audience? It's an audience in the audience at a wedding. I guess it's an audience. about my wedding. I felt like everybody was an audience. Yes. Amy, what's a makeup person go for?
Starting point is 01:09:40 Oh, I mean, it can vary depending on, like, their skill level, what they're used to doing. But I've gotten quotes anywhere from $100 to $150 to $1,500. It just... A day or an hour. I guess the $1,500 would be probably more
Starting point is 01:09:57 like they are maybe do your makeup and then follow you around for whatever you need done that day. Like that, I mean, I haven't personally paid that. I guess I've just gotten quotes for that, like for different work events and stuff. But I was trying to help my friend find a makeup artist for her kid for prom like about a month ago. And everyone I sent her, she was like, oh, they're too expensive. I'm like, sorry because our people are kind of in the business, I guess.
Starting point is 01:10:20 I told my daughter, you need to get in the makeup business because she does really good makeup. And I'm like, you could start charging people a lot of money. $125,000. I guess. I've never heard of that. Ever. I'm interested.
Starting point is 01:10:33 But again, again, when you're getting married. married like sometimes. No, no, no, no, no, no. There's no, there's absolutely no way. Eddie, that's more than... Full weddings, aren't half that. Yes, no, that's insane. But say you give people, 10 people that price, one might buy,
Starting point is 01:10:49 zero we're going to buy it. And you're going to have no work. Morgan, anything you want to add to this? Oh, yeah, no, the most I've ever paid to have my hair and makeup done on a wedding is $150. Most of those. I would say that's probably the most common amount. Now, that's not for people traveling, but it's not like traveling's $124,900.
Starting point is 01:11:07 No, maybe like $200 more. What happened to you like doing your own makeup? Oh, and I do my own makeup at them too. Not you. I'm not talking about you. No, no, I'm just saying, instead of paying $125,000, I would do a YouTube tutorial. Yeah. Oh, yeah, like followed the tips. Yeah, just do it myself.
Starting point is 01:11:22 TikTok tips. A woman's forced to take off all of her makeup after she failed an airport facial recognition scan. Oh, dang. She must have a lot of makeup on. She must be piling it on. Yeah. She was forced to take off her heavy makeup. after the facial recognition scanners at the airport failed to confirm her identity.
Starting point is 01:11:39 A short clip showing a young woman using wet wipes to clean her face off while being scolded by airport staff when viral on social media. According to the boarding pass shown in the video, next to the woman's ID, the video was shot in September of last year. During the short clip, the woman holding the camera, scolds the young girl saying, you need to wipe all the makeup off. You look nothing like your picture. Wipe everything off until you look like your passport photo.
Starting point is 01:12:02 Whoa. It's unclear whether the person eventually passed the airport's facial recognition scan from Audity Central. That's almost like movie makeup when you're doing a monster. For the facial recognition not to recognize you, like that's a lot. And why are you doing your makeup so big than an airplane? Like you're going to land in what, walk into a movie set? Maybe. Be a zombie?
Starting point is 01:12:24 Yeah, that's crazy, too. Okay. Bobby Bones Show. Boney up the day. This story comes us from Charlotte, Norris. North Carolina. Two guys are working at Popeye's chicken when one burns the biscuit. The manager says, why are you burning the biscuits?
Starting point is 01:12:39 He goes, I didn't burn him. You want to go outside and fight? So they go outside to fight. And the manager pulls out a gun and pop, pop, shot him twice. Oh, wow. Manager. He didn't die. No, he didn't die.
Starting point is 01:12:51 Did not die. How burnt were the biscuits? Good question. Doesn't say how burnt, but he got shot in the groin. Oh, right for the groin. They probably already had some sort of dispute. Yeah. Not just the biscuits.
Starting point is 01:13:01 I would assume there was a little beef prior to the biscuits. You shouldn't do this. Yeah, the two allegedly had conflicts in the past. Yeah, there you go. But you think you've made it to the manager position. You make relatively good choices. Or does everybody else just make really bad choices? Okay.
Starting point is 01:13:18 I'm Lunchbox. That's your Bonehead Story of the day. All right, a voicemail from last night. Hey, show. I was just listening to the ketchup. The tasting thing that Amy's doing. That's a good bit. It brings me back to the old show.
Starting point is 01:13:33 What does that even mean the old show? I don't know. Beard off on the old show. We were stupid. Hey, by the way, I didn't understand how big of a deal it was to pick organic Heinz. I didn't go pick the ketchup. I just saw Heinz. And so we played the game.
Starting point is 01:13:47 People were like, man, she nailed it. And it was organic. Yeah, that's why it was still a tad bit unfamiliar. Like, I was like, this tastes right, but the aftertaste is weird. And that's exactly what's up with their organic. It's not the same. But I'm just glad I could still, like, identify it.
