Starting point is 00:02:56 Yeah. It would not be. Right. It wouldn't be that. There's a lot of luck. Yeah. Listen to thanks, Dad, on the eye. Heart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
Starting point is 00:03:18 What's up, everybody? Welcome to Wednesday show. Morning studio. Morning. All right. This is the most interesting segment on the world today. Starbucks has a drink that induces labor. Does it actually work, though, as the question. This woman's 30 weeks pregnant. She heard about the drink, and her name is Lindsay Hull underscore on TikTok, and here she is talking about it. Apparently, Starbucks has this drink that is supposed to be labor inducing. I am sure it doesn't actually work. I can't imagine this is what actually puts people. in labor, but like I said, I'm willing to try literally anything.
Starting point is 00:03:47 Give this drink a try. Okay, so this is a venty iced passion tango tea with pineapple refresher base and four Splenda packets. Okay, no, that's actually so good. I would drink this even if I wasn't pregnant trying to go into labor. That's delicious. So, we didn't hear if she had the baby or not. Yeah, where's the baby?
Starting point is 00:04:07 It was a good drink. Yeah. There was something called Engagement Chicken and my wife did the recipe once on YouTube. and I didn't know that's what it was called and had the chicken and I proposed. It worked. Yeah. I think you just make the chicken so good that the dude's like, I need to marry this, but I'm going to keep eating this chicken.
Starting point is 00:04:25 But again, no word yet on if this drink induces labor, but it is a vinty iced passion, tango tea with pineapple refresher and splendor. Good luck. Next up, the ultimate revenge. This ex-girlfriend fills the gas tank with concrete. This is messed up. What? This is messed up.
Starting point is 00:04:42 I just want to say it. Here's a clip of someone looking at the gas tank valve that is filled with hardened concrete. There's a lot of bleeps because you'd bleep too. If you looked at yours and there's concrete in your gas tank, it's gone viral. Go ahead. Throw some crazy ass. Put concrete in this dude's gas tank. Can't even close the shit.
Starting point is 00:05:01 It's all concrete. That's crazy. That's not good. I mean, cars ruined, right? Yes. Ruined. Ruin. If you put liquid in there,
Starting point is 00:05:13 that's not gas. The whole car is not ruined, but a major part of the car is ruined. That's terrible. That's terrible. Okay? This is the bed rot challenge. Whoever can stay in bed the longest gets $1,000. Oh, I win that. This company called Cozy Earth
Starting point is 00:05:29 is seeing who on their team can stay in bed the longest, and they keep upping the prize money. Again, this is from Cozy Earth on TikTok. We started with five of our employees to see who can stay in bed the longest and win the $1,000 prize. And let's not forget they are expected to do their normal day jobs.
Starting point is 00:05:46 Our CEO up the stakes when he doubled the prize fund to $2,000, adding $500 for each individual night after that at the 24 hour mark. Brooklyn and Will have left the challenge. If our TikTok account gets up to 100K followers, he will add 5K to the prize fund. So support our competitors. Give us a follow and tune in on our lives and videos to see who will be crowned the bed rot champion. Their lily is laying in bed working. That's cool.
Starting point is 00:06:10 That's great promotion. That's interesting. even know what cozy earth was, but they're just laying in the bed, just chilling, and they got to be there. There is, I was looking at this Instagram of the world's quietest room. And so if you can stay in it for 24 hours,
Starting point is 00:06:27 you win a million dollars. Nobody lasted over, I think 17 minutes. Why? Because it's so quiet? Well, what happens is it's so quiet, apparently. People start to hear their heartbeat, their organs, and they eventually get a headache. Huh? Because the room is so quiet.
Starting point is 00:06:42 And all of your sounds inside your body gets so loud. No one's lasted over 17 minutes. That's weird. This is bizarre. Yeah, but it was like that house I didn't believe in. It was like, if you can get all that through the haunted house, you win $10,000. I'm like, no way that's real. And then we find out that people are signing waivers that are like 20 pages long.
Starting point is 00:06:58 Yeah. And they're having their teeth pulled out and stuff. I don't doubt anything anymore. Next, this Pasadena couple was robbed of $9,000. They had just withdrawn to buy their son a car. so they took the money. They have it. They're driving away. They were followed.
Starting point is 00:07:17 Caesar and Jenny Vasquez said they've been saving for months in order to make the purchase. This is from ABC 13, Houston's take talk. After months of saving, this was going to be the day Caesar and Jenny Vosquez bought their son a car. They were headed to make that purchase when they made a last minute stop for food at the La Montania meat market in Pasadena. While they're inside, this guy slinks up, smashes their window, and takes $9,000. in cash. They say they just got on the money from the teller at this Wells Fargo on Spencer Highway. And then he's all like, do you want that $9,000 in 20s or 100s? And we were just like, can you say it any louder? I don't think they heard you outside. They now believe it's possible someone was listening
Starting point is 00:07:58 and following. They needed that money and God said that's fine. We'll let them have it. So I forgive him for taking it. And now today I guess you walk out with nothing. I don't forgive him for taking it. That's so sad. who's worked in that bank a long time unless, and I don't know this is true, so I'm just going to do a little speculation. Pure, pure, pure speculation. Why does it tell her say how much money that is
Starting point is 00:08:20 and, well, out loud? Well, you had to ask them what kind of bills you want. You don't say $9,000 or $20s or hundreds or you don't say it low. You say it very low. Are you speculating that they said it loud? Yes. Yeah, but when do you come up with another?
Starting point is 00:08:35 Pure speculation. Code word like. Yeah, sure. Oh, I'm hungry. Unless you're just a dumb down. But these people are also dumbedums to leave it in their car where they stop and get something to eat. Like if you got $9,000 and you're not dumb, you're a d'em. You didn't matter though because they had a gun.
Starting point is 00:08:50 It doesn't make it okay to steal. How do you know they had a gun, Eddie? It doesn't make it okay to steal just because you left it in the car. Right. It literally doesn't. They said they broke the window. Like if they're not in the car, why would you leave $9,000? Because you're not thinking people know you have $9,000.
Starting point is 00:09:05 It doesn't matter. Why have $9,000? I'm never just leaving it in the car. Yeah. I think you're talking about two completely different things. I don't think it makes them a little, I don't think it makes them in the wrong even 1% more because they accidentally left it in the car.
Starting point is 00:09:17 I mean, listen to their hearts. He's sort of like, I guess they needed it more than we did. He probably believes most people are good. I think it's kind of dumb to leave it in the car, but I don't think it makes it a little more okay to steal from them because they left it in the car. Like, well, they got what they deserve. I'm not saying they got what they deserve,
Starting point is 00:09:33 but we can't blame it all in the teller. We don't even, no, we don't blame it all in the teller. I just speculated that somebody heard it. Why would the teller say it that loud? How many hundreds do you want? We're only blaming on the people that stole it. Yes, that's the only person getting the blank. And are you protecting them lunchbox?
Starting point is 00:09:47 No, I'm just saying that whenever I followed people from the bank? Whenever I go to the bank and you get money out, they ask you, do you want big bills or small bills? Yeah, but they say it like this. I would like big bills or small bills. Or you're like, I'm there to get up a draw. How much do you want? And they make you say it out loud. Did you not hear the people say they said it so loud that they were like, hey, why not say it to everybody in the whole place?
Starting point is 00:10:05 I just think that's normal bank protocol because when I go to the bank thing, ask me how much I want to get. Good, not loud, no. Lunchbox wants it loud because he likes for people to know. Fives. Okay, that's only four and five, sir. Thank you. Okay. Hello, Bobby Bones.
Starting point is 00:10:40 Me and my wife have been married for over five years. I recently saw an email from her ex-boyfriend reminding her of something they shared in the past. It wasn't anything romantic, but just the thought of them communicating by email is a little concerning. Should I be concerned? Do I bring it up and ask? why she's emailing him at work? For context, we've had issues with her texting and talking to X's behind my back. I mean, they're X for a reason, right?
Starting point is 00:11:03 I'm not sure what to do or how to approach this. Please help. Signed, should I be concerned? So I would say no until you got to the point of we've had this issue before. Because I don't think you should be concerned if it's never an issue, but you can always communicate about something even if you're not concerned about it. If you're curious about it, you can communicate about something. So you could always go into it that way.
Starting point is 00:11:25 Like I'm curious why, not I'm concerned why. However, for context, we've had issues with this before. Yes, now you should be concerned. Because you've had issues before, Amy. Yeah, I think that that's the reddish flag there. Because at first I was like, oh, okay, and it's an email. But then. Yeah, and you can be curious about an email from an ex if it's your wife.
Starting point is 00:11:52 Yeah, absolutely. Without being angry about it. But I would be like, oh, wow, they email because maybe they could have texted or called or are they only emailing because they don't know how to get a hold of her any other way. Now, how you may get in trouble yourself for this is the I recently saw an email from her ex-boyfriend. Yeah, because how did you see it? That was my other question. Because that gets flipped on you pretty quick. Like if you were to see it, but you were like snooping, that's a way for them to again divert attention to the real problem and put it back on you.
Starting point is 00:12:20 And you're like, you're talking to an ex again. You're like, we're in my email. Then you're 50-50. Oh, boy. Stale made and nobody, nothing gets accomplished. So if you like saw it in a way that's legitimate, I think that helps the case.
Starting point is 00:12:35 But I don't think it's totally 50-50 in that you both have an argument if she's been busted before because you can always meet that with. We've had this issue before and yeah, I'm a little more vigilant than normal. So yes, you should be concerned. And you should bring it up
Starting point is 00:12:48 and you should be very direct about it. It is going to be uncomfortable. but you have to have this uncomfortable situation happens, so hopefully you get to a more comfortable situation. Who's this stupid ex? Dude, she's married. Leave her alone. Stop email.
Starting point is 00:13:01 It's not even the ex's fault, but also just leave her alone. All right, close it up. And now, Lunchbox presents. Women are crazy. Here we go. There's a 24-year-old woman. She's drinking with the dudes all night, you know,
Starting point is 00:13:15 hanging out. It's like three or four in the morning. She's starting to get a little tipsy. And one of the guy tells her, Hey, if you can't handle and drinking with the boys, stay in the kitchen. Well, why would he say that? It's just being funny. That ain't very funny.
Starting point is 00:13:27 Go ahead. So she went to the garage, got gasoline, poured it on him, and lit him on fire. Oh, that's not funny either. Okay. I thought you were going to say house. Oh, my goodness. Now, lit him. Burn 55% of his body.
Starting point is 00:13:38 Oh, my gosh. He was in a coma for like seven days. Oh. And now he can't go out in the sun. Oh, man. That's crazy. That is crazy. That is very, very crazy.
Starting point is 00:13:49 All because he made a joke. But I feel like a man was. It's not all because he made a joke. Yeah, there's more to it. First of all, it's not all because he made a joke. She was already somewhere close, regardless. Oh, no, she was just hanging out with the boys, man. I feel like this was a very unhealthy situation anyway.
Starting point is 00:14:07 To levels we don't even understand. Because nobody I know that drinks a little bit decides to go and pour gas on somebody and light them on fire. Right, right, but it wasn't a little bit. It was a lot of bit all night with the boys. And she was starting to get a little tips. And he said, if you can't handle it, stay in the kitchen making scones. Oh, you didn't add that part. Well, now scones are involved.
Starting point is 00:14:24 Gosh, scones seem so sophisticated. Yeah, yeah. And the act of the gasoline seems so trashy. Like, I'm confused. You know? But she went out, got the gasoline, poured it on them, and wha. You think this is directly because women in general are crazy. Are crazy.
Starting point is 00:14:40 Yeah. This is not just one specific human. No, and she's 24 and she's not ugly. And what does that have to do with it? Nothing. Well, I'm just saying, I'm looking at her like, dang, this girl is going to go to pre-year-old. for a long time.
Starting point is 00:14:54 She's not going to be that pretty when she gets out. Wow, she looks so normal. That's what I'm saying. Eddie, check. I mean, look at it. This is crazy. She looked pretty good.
Starting point is 00:15:02 On a Z. I mean, she looked like a normal. No way. She didn't do that. She did. You know what? Not guilty. No, yeah.
Starting point is 00:15:09 If I'm on the jury, she looks too normal. She definitely looks like she'd be baking scones. Dang, massageness of Amy. Oh. Dang. Maybe just sent her to the kitchen.
Starting point is 00:15:19 No, I didn't. She looks like a lovely lady. Wow. Not one that would set her boyfriend or whoever on fire. Corby, Gene Walpole, 24, pleaded guilty to lighting her friend on fire after he made the remark on January 7th, 2024, according to the report. Holy moly. Yeah, yeah, no, no, no. And they've been friends for years.
Starting point is 00:15:38 It's not like this is just some guy she met. They've been, like, good friends for years. Not his first joke then, I imagine. Yeah, I wouldn't think. You know what this proves? Ah, here we go. Oh, here we go. With me?
Starting point is 00:15:53 I can't say that. I don't think she represents all women. No, and I feel like a dude would totally do something like this too. I feel like a dude would see her and still date her. Even after the story is out. Because guys will take a certain crazy. Well, that's pretty far crazy. Yeah, but.
Starting point is 00:16:10 Women are crazy. No, no. But is she hot enough, in your opinion, to take that crazy? Oh, I'd need to see the body. Oh, my gosh. Because all you see is the face. All I see is the face right now. You know, just think that people are crazy.
Starting point is 00:16:25 I know. Women are crazy. And that was, Lunchbox presents. Women are crazy. It's time for the good news. With lunchbox. Stay home, it's not been good. Dave Nugent is from Ohio.
Starting point is 00:16:39 He loves bicycles. He likes fixing them up. And so he'd get old bicycles, fix him up, and he gives them away. And that's how he got the name the Brookville Bicycle Man. That's like a mass murderer. That's what he does. Like someone who's killing people? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:16:52 No, good. I like it. But he goes around and he gets old. bikes that are thrown out, discarded adults and children's bikes fix them up. And then every few months he says, hey man, giving them away tomorrow, come by, get a free bike. That's cool. And they go about an hour and they're all gone. How cool would that be?
Starting point is 00:17:07 Free bikes? Be cool. Well, what's the coolest thing for him is? Because he was doing it for very selfless reasons. When you officially get a nickname, that's pretty cool. The Brookville Bicycle Man. It doesn't matter what it is as long as it's not like T-bone or something. Oh, that's yours.
Starting point is 00:17:22 Which was mine in high school. I hated it. It was terrible. To the Brookville bicycle, man. Great job. And I don't know any relations of Ted. I'm not sure,
Starting point is 00:17:29 but same last name. Nugent? You went all the way back to that. Ted Nugent? I'm surprised he knows who Ted Nugent is. Isn't that somebody? It is somebody, yeah, but I didn't remember.
Starting point is 00:17:39 There you go. He sings Cat Scratch Fever. I've heard that one before. Yeah. Is he in a band? I think he even sees Cat Scratch Fever. I'm not sure. I would bet on it, but I wouldn't like bet a lot.
Starting point is 00:17:52 Does he like a Vegas guy? No. He's the Troyes. He's the Motor City Madman, Ted Nugent. Oh, he has a nickname too. Yeah, yeah. See, that's what I'm saying. Look at this.
Starting point is 00:18:01 Brokeville Bicycle Man and most. Maybe they are related. So Ted Nugent does have cat scratch fever from 1977. Also in the Ted Nugent catalog. Can you name any other song? No. I mean, if you say it, I'll probably know it, but no. I clearly know.
Starting point is 00:18:17 I'm looking at 100 of them. And we know them all probably. There's song called jailbate from 1981. I don't even want to listen to that because I don't even want to listen to that. my door kicked in. Ted Nugent. I know they call him the Nuge, right? Like something like like like the Nuge.
Starting point is 00:18:32 Yeah. Okay. His not... See, Lunchbox did this by bringing this back out. Strangleholds number one. Here we go. It's from my phone. Okay.
Starting point is 00:18:51 Feels like a beer commercial. Like, this is playing in the background of a pool hall. Do we know this one? Yeah, you know this one. I don't know. Anyway, lunchbox, thanks. You're welcome. totally diverted that.
Starting point is 00:19:07 Got a weird tone, though. Big shout out to the Motor City Bike Man. No, Brookville bicycle man. There we go. That song, jail bait, listen to this. No, no, no, no, no. Sounds bad. Well, I don't care if you're just 13.
Starting point is 00:19:18 No. We're not going to play that one. I'm joking. I'm doing the next segment. Leave it there. We should do songs that feel creepy. That is creepy. That is creepy.
Starting point is 00:19:27 Yeah. But it has to feel creepy to be creepy. This is creepy. But come back. Okay, lunchbox, that's what it's all about. That was tell me something good. A win is a win. A win is a win.
Starting point is 00:19:38 I don't care what you're saying. Yep, that's me, Clifford Taylor the 4th. A group of women discover they've all dated the same prolific con artist. I felt like I got hit by a truck. I thought, how could this happen to me?

Starting point is 00:21:51 My dad gave me the best advice ever. I went and had lunch with him one day. And I was like, and Dad, I think I want to really give this a shot. I don't know what that means, but I just know the groundlings. I'm working my way up through. And I know it's a place that come look for up and coming talent. He said, if it was based solely on talent, I wouldn't worry about you. Which is really sweet.
Starting point is 00:22:11 Yeah. He goes, but there's so much luck involved. And he's like, just give it a shot. He goes, but if you ever reach a point where you're banging your head against the wall and it doesn't feel fun anymore, it's okay to quit. If you saw it written down, it would not be an inspiration. It would not be on a calendar of, you know, the cat. Just hang in there.
Starting point is 00:22:34 Yeah, it would not be. Right, it wouldn't be that. There's a lot of luck. Listen to Thanks Dad on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcast, or wherever you get your podcast. I never thought using a straw was masculine or feminine, but there's a congressman from Tennessee who says straws, that's what the women in my house do. Oh, wow. What a good.
Starting point is 00:24:46 Why did he say that? Representative Tim Burchett said in a recent interview that he does not use straws, telling Fox News that this is, quote, what women in my house do. The Fox News producer asked lawmakers in both chambers of Congress on Thursday about rules for men. And Bertich said men should not drink out of straw with straws in public or at all. I don't drink out of a straw. brother, that's what the women in my house do. Oh, he said brother?
Starting point is 00:25:15 He did in the beginning of that, yeah. That makes sense. WKRN with the story. Question, is it feminine to use a straw? No. Your girl, though. Well, I'm saying I don't look at a man and think, oh, what a feminine man. He's using a straw.
Starting point is 00:25:30 Got it, got it, got it. I feel like I can have an opinion about it. Yeah, but you're a girl, though. Yours is different. Oh. Because you're going to be more accepting. Okay. I just have not.
Starting point is 00:25:39 I never thought this was a thing. You all use straws, don't you? I love a straw. You love a straw? I can't get it in my mouth fast enough. Hold on, hold on. What also tracks. If you just have a glass of water and like no lid, no nothing, you're not in a fast food place, do you look for a straw to drink it out of?
Starting point is 00:25:58 I will quickly monitor the area, see if I can find a straw. That's a bad look. That's not good. It's a bad look. Morgan, what do you think? It's funny that this is coming up because my boyfriend's head to start using my Stanley because he lost his water bottle and it's kind of funny. Now I make fun of him because he walks around and drinking out of a straw in his Stanley and it looks funny.
Starting point is 00:26:21 Well, the whole Stanley is feminine. Yeah, that's a little edge from Amy. Yeah. Okay. You can do a straw, but you can't do a stand. What? Why you say Stanley? Now I like where she's coming from.
Starting point is 00:26:36 Okay, so if I'm going to use a mug or a mug or a little bit of a mug or a little, you can't do a straw. or Stanley or something if I'm going to go to somebody's house to play pickleball. Went to somebody. And we have like a cabinet with like six or seven of them. I always try to grab them on the straw. Or the flip up that I can suck on. That's okay. That's okay.
Starting point is 00:26:55 What's the difference? Now the flip up is just part of the contraption. The straw sticking way out looks real weird. So the flip up suck is okay, but the straw suck isn't? You probably just need a screw cap. See? I knew it. Hey, I knew she comes around. I know that you say it. I don't, I, mine is a screw. The lark is a screw. I don't know if I have a flip-up.
Starting point is 00:27:16 You do. Like, I want a straw. Oh, that's my bike one. My bike one is a flip-up because when you're riding, you got a squirt in your mouth. Yeah. You squirt. That's a good idea. It's like you said it's a red light and you squirt it. You should get a squirt one. Because you don't want to put your lips on that thing. Why are you looking at me now? Like, I only judge it. Okay, hold on. You're the one more concerned about. Are you changing your mind? I think you could get a squirt one or a screw run. Are you changing your mind about straws? I'm sort of changing our mind about straws.
Starting point is 00:27:44 Like if we're talking like fast food, you've got a straw, no problem. But if you're actively seeking out a straw at home for your coffee. Oh, I do. We have glass straws. Yeah. That I like to drink at home. Yeah. Because I don't want to waste all the plastic.
Starting point is 00:27:59 It's not good. Oh, it's a thoughtful. Why do you need a straw at home? I just like sucking them. Okay. See, that's it right there. Ding, ding, ding. So you guys think this guy's onto something?
Starting point is 00:28:12 It might be. Well, not necessarily, because it's not every straw. Like Amy said, a fast food place, hey, what are you going to do? Take the lid off? No, it's already had the straw. Like, drink it. Okay, in your house, though. Oh, you can't have a straw in your house.
Starting point is 00:28:24 That's what he said. He said, that's what the women in my house do. But I guess he means the women that live there, though, not just in the house. But if you came over and I was drinking a drink and I added a straw in my house, You guys would think that was weird? Yeah, a little bit. I kind of feel like I need to see it. No, it's weird, Amy.
Starting point is 00:28:40 No, picture it. No one sits around with a straw. I mean, if you're grabbing for a Stanley, yes, that's weird. Like, when you're, like, trying to drink out of it, do you get your tongue to, like, find it first? Because then, dude, we got problems. Probably. But, again, I can also see it. I guess if it's dark, I turn out of that.
Starting point is 00:28:58 But if I can see it, no, I just goes right in my mouth. Yeah, like, if you're sick and you can't move your head and you're in bed. then yeah, you can use the straw. Yeah, or it's dark. You're like, if you have a bunch of cast and you can't move your, and they need to put a straw to your mouth, cool. Like you're bedridden, I get it. Okay, so then let me ask, again, since we've talked this out a little bit,
Starting point is 00:29:17 is using a straw feminine, just generally speaking? Gosh, I did not think so at the beginning of this, but I, you know, have the right to change my mind. Sometimes if they don't have a straw and they only have the little coffee stirs that have a straw, I use that as a straw. The tiny, tiny, tiny. Yeah, because I just really like a straw. Interesting.
Starting point is 00:29:34 The little teeny tiny one? Uh-huh. Sometimes. Yeah. Yeah. Okay. Is using a straw feminine, aiming your final vote? Yes.
Starting point is 00:29:41 Lunchbox? 100%. Morgan? It is. Eddie? I'm going to go with yeah. Yeah, it is. Wow.
Starting point is 00:29:47 But this is not, I don't, I don't even know. I'm going to say it was a politician. Yeah. I'm going to go like, no. You're the only one. I'm going to go, no. It is not feminine. Yes.
Starting point is 00:29:56 This is not, I don't own us to get political here. I don't really think this is, I don't think this is an issue dividing. It sounds. Like, I just don't, you know, I'm just, we're just, we're just, we're just stating our own opinions here. This has nothing to do with anybody's politics. Yeah. That's from WKRN. Okay, with a 20% of, it is not feminine, that's where I come in.
Starting point is 00:30:19 So I lost that election, huh? Mm-hmm. All right. Jason Aldeen, here's a masculine guy for you. He doesn't drink straw. He doesn't drink out of straw. I guarantee you don't drink out of straw. If he does, it's in the closet.
Starting point is 00:30:29 Whoa. Whoa. Whoa. You don't know that. Oh, oh. I'm here like in private. You think he goes in the closet and drinks out of the straw. So he feels good.
Starting point is 00:30:37 He's a closet in straw drinker. It's time to spill the tea. Let's spill the tea. So this is basically someone just tattling and they wanted to do it anonymously. So they've used a voice changer. Here we go. And this is tea spilled on our very own, Morgan. Oh, boy.
Starting point is 00:30:58 Okay. So hit it, Ray. I am not sure of what Morgan is doing is illegal, but it seems awful shame. Hold on, hold on, I'm so dumb. We know who it is immediately with that terrible. I think if he just did it normal, we wouldn't know. So why don't we just have him just say it? Let's just play it.
Starting point is 00:31:15 Of course, lunchbox, that's so you. That's not me. Yes, it is. Okay. Play it, go ahead. I am not sure of what Morgan is doing is illegal, but it seems awful shady. She bought a brand-new Bronco. Good for her.
Starting point is 00:31:28 We're all happy for her. But she's storing her old Jeep here in the work parking garage. I'm pretty sure people have to pay for those parking spots, and Morgan is taking one up like it's a used car lot. Why doesn't she just keep the Jeep in her house? Seems a little shady, if not illegal, and it's a bad reflection on the show. Okay, so we'll act like we don't know who that was.
Starting point is 00:31:50 That sounds like a woman. He was also cracking a little bit. Here we go, right? Back up. But we don't know who that is, right? I don't know who that is. It sounds like a shady operation going on. You mean what that person's talking about.
Starting point is 00:32:01 Yeah, whatever that, the subject matter seemed pretty intense. The subject matter is Morgan's Jeep. So you did announce you're not a Jeep girl anymore. Yeah, sadly. I didn't know you didn't trade your Jeep in. No, my parents are actually taking it. So it'll be gone from the garage here shortly. And I did let the people know that it is here and we're waiting.
Starting point is 00:32:19 There are people here that have two cars. So it is. I asked the people up front. I was like, is it okay if I leave it here for the next week or so? They're allowing you to store your Jeep here? Yeah. And she was like, okay yeah that's fine.
Starting point is 00:32:30 Wow. So I didn't not ask. I didn't just like park it there and play it on nobody saying anything. I also wanted to make sure I wasn't going to get towed or something either. Okay, then there you go. Whoever did that.
Starting point is 00:32:42 I mean, you got your answers. Yeah, now you know. Whoever that is. No. Whoever is. And we don't know who that is. It stays so anonymous. Okay, then you're all good. Yeah, as far as I know.
Starting point is 00:32:53 Your parents are just taking the Jeep? Yeah, it's going to go back home to Kansas. You're acting like you're rehoming a dog. It feels that way. I had it for like 10 years. Did they give you money for it? Yeah. Oh, your parents are buying it from you.
Starting point is 00:33:06 Yeah, they wanted it back. Okay. So. They wanted it back? They had it in the first place? No, they just like... I feel like you're not telling us on the Jeep. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:33:16 That's what it sounds like. They didn't. Sorry. We're not going to judge you. Just tell us the whole truth about the truth. We're not going to judge it. No, no, no. It was my Jeep.
Starting point is 00:33:24 I don't know why I said it that way. It was just like at home. Like, my dad would drive it sometimes when I lived at home. So I think my dad really liked it. So then he bought it. Yes. Sorry. And that's the whole truth and nothing but the truth.
Starting point is 00:33:35 Yes. That's the whole truth, nothing about the truth. You're under oath. Does the person who was ever anonymous, did they feel good about that? Okay, I guess I'm not going to answer. Okay. I guess I'm not going to answer it. Good.
Starting point is 00:33:47 The typical woman will do this about 1,400 times a year. Oh. That's the question. What is it? Now, we're going to play. Never going to get it. No, you're not going to get it. Never, never going to get it.
Starting point is 00:34:00 Not this time. No, you're not going to get it. Never, never, never, never, never going to get it. Ooh, Bob. Okay, so the typical woman will do this about 1,400 times per year. We have Kim on the phone. Kim played a while ago. Did not win.
Starting point is 00:34:14 We told her we'd give her one more chance to play. Hey, Kim, how are you today? I'm great. How are y'all doing? Really good. Thank you for listening. Thanks for calling back. Now, the question is, according to a recent survey,
Starting point is 00:34:27 the typical woman will do this about 1,400 times per year. Now, Kim will take a shot at it. Then she'll pick two of you. If she doesn't get it to represent her. And if you get it, she wins. And then we'll do a grab bag for game three. All right, Kim, so you go first. 1,400 times per year.
Starting point is 00:34:45 What is it? Pick up after their husband. Great answer. That's a shot. Great answer. My wife's probably a little higher than that, if I'm being honest. That is not correct. So that's incorrect.
Starting point is 00:34:55 That's probably higher. Yeah, yeah. So, how does everybody feel here, Amy? Pretty good. A through F, if A means you for sure got it? B. Okay, lunchbox? A plus.
Starting point is 00:35:09 I know women. I expect nothing less. Morgan? I think I'm in like a D. Oh, Eddie? For the first time ever, I feel really good about this. So A. Okay, so Morgan does not think she has it.
Starting point is 00:35:20 The other three kind of do. Pick two of them to represent you. I don't think he knows women, but I'm going to do. lunchbox because I think he won the last one. Okay. So we have lunchbox and pick one other player for you? To like, oh, for me, Eddie. Eddie, okay, lunchbox and Eddie will be representing Kim. Nice. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:35:37 Hey, Kim, where do you live, by the way? I live in Texas. Okay. Amy, what is your answer? Apologize. Wow. You know how we say, oh, I'm sorry. I'm sorry. When we don't really even need to. Oh, so just say, I'm sorry.
Starting point is 00:35:49 Yeah, like, I'm sorry. Morgan? I had put on makeup. Okay. Lunchbox. Laundry. That's a lot of laundry. Kim, why did you pick him?
Starting point is 00:36:01 Like a lot. I mean, if you got kids, you do at least two loads a day, three loads a day. I mean, laundry. Eddie? No, no, no. This is easy. Got cooking? Nope.
Starting point is 00:36:13 Put their hair up in a ponytail. What? 1400 times. Yeah. I see you guys do that all the time. Yeah, I do that a lot. Boom. But that's, guys, do you realize that's.
Starting point is 00:36:25 What? Multiple times a day. Yeah. Okay. Eddie has no hair, by the way. But I see women. Do you see there, now I feel pretty good about mine. What was yours again?
Starting point is 00:36:34 Like, you know how oftentimes as women, we apologize for no reason. So we're like walking around all day, like, oh, I'm sorry. Not every woman does that. The average woman, we do, and we need to work on it. I thought about putting nagging. But that's a lot more in 1400s. Lunchboxes is do laundry. Eddies is put their hair in a pony.
Starting point is 00:36:55 detail. You're both wrong. Yeah. Shocker. Okay, so let's go to the final round here. And I'm going to tell you this, Kim, either Amy or Morgan's right. Oh, what if it's a lip gloss? It's Morgan. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:37:08 I feel like apologizing is really good, though. We do apologize a lot. Uh-huh. I mean, you know, we need to work on it. But. This is going to be your round three. You can pick Amy's, which is apologized. Or just say, I'm sorry.
Starting point is 00:37:19 Or Morgan's would just put on makeup. The average typical woman will do this 1,400 times per year, what is it? Oh, man. Let's go with Morgan. So Morgan says makeup. Morgan, do you feel like yours is one to go with? Like, what do you recommend she do?
Starting point is 00:37:41 I don't know, because I do apply lipstick multiple times a day. That's very much a thing. But I do also apologize a lot. And I just unknowingly will be like, sorry, sorry. And I feel like that's more of a thing with most women. So I feel like she should go with Amy. but I don't know. I'm so confident that mine could be correct.
Starting point is 00:37:59 So what do you think she do? You get to recommend her one thing. Well, just go with what you want with. Okay. Because I don't know. I mean, she chose you. What would you recommend her to do? Well, I'm torn.
Starting point is 00:38:10 I know we apologize too much, and we often put lip gloss on. Like, there's no way I'm applying makeup that much in a year. Like, that's not happening. But if lip gloss falls into that category, then I can see that happening. So what are you recommending? Well, Morgan should just believe in her answer.
Starting point is 00:38:25 I'll believe in mine. No, I need you to recommend. Okay, I recommend me. Okay, you recommend yourself. Morgan, what do you recommend? I recommend myself. There we go. And Kim went with Morgan, so they really, I don't know if they swayed you at all, Kim.
Starting point is 00:38:38 I don't know, chapstick and lip gloss count. But now I'm going with Amy, but how do you keep counter that? Also, I'm sorry if I'm wrong, and you pick me. She just apologized. Yeah, yeah, she just apologized, so that's one. Okay, so I need to have an answer here, Kim. Are you going with? Okay, let's do it.
Starting point is 00:38:55 Let's go Amy. Oh, no, no. I think that's it. No, I don't. I think that's the wrong answer. Because lip gloss, they do. Women do this at least three or four times a day because it wears off. Kim, last chance to change your mind if you want.
Starting point is 00:39:08 You want with Amy and Sorry or Morgan with makeup. Okay, Morgan. Morgan. Morgan was my first. Morgan. Oh, no. Morgan. What is her name? Kim.
Starting point is 00:39:20 Kim, how many times a day do you put lipstick on her, lip gloss or whatever? I do chapstick a lot. I live in Texas is dry, so a lot. Do you ever... Is chapstick the makeup? I don't feel like chapstick is makeup. It's lipstick, lip gloss. People have all versions of it.
Starting point is 00:39:37 Okay, but let me ask you this. Do you find yourself apologizing when you don't really need to? Like, sometimes are you like, oh, I'm sorry, because that's just what we do as average women, which we're working on it, but... No, I don't. Oh, good for you. That's very healthy of you. That's awesome.
Starting point is 00:39:52 Okay, Kim, so your final answer is either going to be Amy, with I'm sorry or Morgan with makeup, please lock in your answer. Morgan. Okay. She's gone with makeup. I hope that's right. The answer is. The typical woman will do this about 1,400 times per year.
Starting point is 00:40:10 The answer is apply makeup. Either her face or just a touch up. Morgan, good job. Good job. Kim is our winner. Kim is our winner. Nice job, Kim. Redemption is what I say.
Starting point is 00:40:25 What a redemption story this is for Kim. We say never going to get it, but she got it. Hit that theme song again. You know you're not going to get it. You're never, never going to get it. Not this time. No, you're not going to get it. Never, never, never, never, never going to get it.
Starting point is 00:40:39 It's time for the good news. With Bobby. Tell me something good. A teenager in Oregon was honored by the American Red Cross because she saved a life while on a field trip. This woman was choking, and Violet Ammon noticed jumping. in did the heimlich, dislodged the object, and save the woman's life. She credits her training from a local CPR class for preparing her. That's from sunny skies.
Starting point is 00:41:07 I tell you, you got to commit to that. Like you want to do it. You want to know how to do it. But man, when you go in, you grab somebody by the ribcage and squeeze. That's a commitment. And you hope you weren't like, no, I was, no, I was just scratching my neck. Like, are you sure you're choking? That's an awesome story.
Starting point is 00:41:24 that she even, do you want me to save you? Blink three times. I can just imagine that happening and me doing it and then getting sued. Yeah, it sounds like I was just coughing. Yeah, yeah. A big shout out to her because literally she saved her life. I've only ever once had a, I won't even say close, but had a situation where I had all my air blocked. It was a Dorito and I was by myself and it lodged like that triangle must have like gone right into the whole perfectly and like melted a little bit on the edges.
Starting point is 00:41:54 Not like my throat spit, like melted it just perfectly to get right in there. That's like, ugh. Dang. Yeah, you know how I got it out? Like this. Got it. For a second, it scared me. Oh, so it was really lodged in there.
Starting point is 00:42:06 Yes, it's lodged in there. A big shout out to Violet. That is what it's all about. That was tell me something good. A win is a win. A win is a win. I don't care what I'm saying. Yep, that's me.

The morning corny. Why did the hard drive go to therapy?
Starting point is 00:47:19 Why did the hard drive go to therapy? Just couldn't let go of old data. Okay, okay, hold on. How about he had data issues? Oh, that's good. Good one. Yeah, like it's not Dad or like your thing, it's like daddy.
Starting point is 00:47:36 Daddy. Yeah. Do you like that one better? I do. Okay. It's okay. It's okay. Sometimes we rewrite it in the moment.
Starting point is 00:47:42 Is that annoying when I do that? No. Be honest. I mean, to be honest, Amy's joke wasn't that good, so this has made a lot better. Yeah, it saved the day. Okay, thank you.
Starting point is 00:47:50 All right, now you can hit it. That was the morning corny. This listener called us, and there will be an update saying, hey, am I getting scammed? Y'all, I fooled Amy, I think, and I think I've suffered a scam. I contacted a lady on Facebook to buy a specific type of bunny. The bunny was supposed to come today.
Starting point is 00:48:12 Apparently, the bunny was sent to the transit company, but now the transit company is asking me to pay all these refundable fees before the bunny can be transported. So I did talk to somebody on the phone. So I am, I don't know, just doing a play-by-play. I guess I can give you guys a call here in a couple hours and let you know. So I have a button. You're not.
Starting point is 00:48:31 feels like she was getting scammed, but she did call us a couple hours later. Hey guys, it's me. I'm just calling with an update about the bunny rabbit scam. I sent another thing. After they sent me a picture or proof, I want to proof. So I asked them to send me a picture. They did send me a picture. And I don't think it's the same rabbit.
Starting point is 00:48:48 So I'm pretty sure I'm being scammed. My rabbit says that is in transit now. So I guess we will, I'll call back later and let you know if I have a cute little bunny or if I'm negative $400 out of my account. When she got that picture and it wasn't the same bunny, that's bad news. Yeah. I wish we'd have heard the voicemail in time because we just said, don't pay any more money. So that's where we left it.
Starting point is 00:49:09 Now, we do have the final update. She called us back. Here we go. I'm calling. This is my third call about a possible scam. I ordered a rabbit online. It was supposed to be delivered. I paid the seller and then it had to pay additional shipping costs and then additional shipping costs again.
Starting point is 00:49:27 And I refused to pay them the third additional shipping costs. bring costs that they were requiring before they started threatening to take the rabbit to an abandonment shelter and telling me that I will be charged and responsible for abandoning the rabbit. So I haven't
Starting point is 00:49:45 scammed. I can't really do anything. Just want to give you all a call. Hopefully this helps somebody else. So she was scammed. There's no abandonment. There's no rabbit. No, what a guilt trip. There's no, yeah. We're going to kill the rabbit right now. I'm going to slice the rabbit's throat if you don't.
Starting point is 00:50:00 It's crazy. Yeah. Oh, my favorite part of this, she's like, I want to prove. So they sent a picture. So I paid them again. And then she was like, it doesn't look like the same. But then I paid them for shipping. And then extra shipping.
Starting point is 00:50:11 Yeah, when people are asking for money up front, that's problematic. Especially when they ask for more. If there's a deposit required. You're normal. Yeah. Yeah. I know. You almost got God.
Starting point is 00:50:22 I did. You got a guy. You do have a new cat, I saw. Well, we're taking care of a kitten that my daughter found on the side of the road. But what's the kid? kitten delivery system you're talking about? Oh, cat distribution system. Well, once I posted about it, all these comments from listeners are like, oh, you should keep the cat. The cat distribution system has chosen you. And so I googled it and it's just this, you know, it's a thing people say online
Starting point is 00:50:47 of like when the universe has spoken or God has given you a kitten. So when you're given a kitten, you keep the kitten. And it's called the cat distribution system. So you're keeping the kitten? Well, so where did you find it? thinking about it. So she was driving down the road and it was about, I mean, it was dark out and she like had to swerve a little bit because it's on the side of the road, but like about to walk into the road, but it can barely walk. Like it's a new kitten. And so she's like, oh my gosh. So she pulled over to see if it was okay. And then she looked around and she didn't like see any other cats or a mama cat. She kind of looked. But again, it was dark. So she scooped it up and
Starting point is 00:51:25 you know, called me and she was like, mom. And then she was cutting out a little bit. And she was. And She's like, you'll see when I get there. And she walks in and she's like, has this cat cradled up in her dress. And I'm like, oh, gosh. No, that's, no. I'm up above. Yeah, I think. Okay, so can, follow me here.
Starting point is 00:51:42 What if we called this caller and say, hey, we don't have a rabbit for you, but we have a kitty cat. Because the cat distribution system is you didn't get a rabbit, we have a cat. Yeah. And all she has to pay is a. You scammer again? We got you. We got you. We told you stopped paying money for things.
Starting point is 00:52:03 Wake up, wake up in the morning. And then you turn the radio on and the dial just keeps on turn. Lunchbox, more game two. Steve Redavitt's trying to put you through. Mike Dees writing this week's next bit. And Bobby's on the mic so you know what this is. This is the Bobby Vaughn's Stone. We did Tell Me Something Good and Lunchbox brought up a story.
Starting point is 00:52:34 The guy's last name was Nugent. He goes, isn't that like Ted Nugent? And so there's a song called Gelbate. I didn't know the song. Yeah, I didn't know the song. And so I looked it up. And the lyrics are, well, I don't care if you're just 13. You look too good to be true.
Starting point is 00:52:51 I just don't know that you're probably clean. What? There's one little think I got to do. It's bad. Oh, boy. Gelbate, you look so good to me. Jel bait won't you set me free. It goes on.
Starting point is 00:53:02 That did not age well That didn't even exist well But nobody said a thing about in the 70s Like the record label Just let that one go through I thought you're at least going to say the 60s or 50s 70s
Starting point is 00:53:17 Well most of the stuff was in the 70s But yeah Jail but by the way If I just see that as a title on a tape Or a record 1981 What? No way
Starting point is 00:53:29 Okay I have some more This one's from Gary Puckett and the Union Gap. Young girl, get out of my mind. My love for you is way out of line. He blames her for looking too good, even though he knows she's underage. Okay, that song's...
Starting point is 00:53:44 1968. Good. Not the lyrics. I didn't know that... Young girl, get out of my mind. Like, I didn't know that's what you were... Say it. That song is not good anymore.
Starting point is 00:53:53 That song is not good anymore. Amen. But I didn't know. Here's one by the Beatles. 1963. She was just... Yeah. Well, she was just 17.
Starting point is 00:54:07 You know what I mean. I know that you know what I mean is just the rhyme, but that even sounds worse. Yeah. Like, uh-huh. Wink, wink. 17's better than 13, though. True. If we have to rank.
Starting point is 00:54:19 We ain't ranking illegal, though. Still illegal. I refuse to rank illegal. Because they were adults. Collie, that's terrible. Some of these, I don't know the melody to sing. Here's one called End of the Night from Benny Mardone's 1980. She just said,
Starting point is 00:54:32 16 years old. Leave her alone, they say. Yeah, I say. Yeah, yeah, we all say, dude. Please do. I say. Tonight I'm yours by Rod Stewart.
Starting point is 00:54:43 You're too young to know it. You're too young to show it. You're too young to say no. What? Oh, my goodness. Oh, my God. Oh, does it? Like, ew.
Starting point is 00:54:53 He has children, right? He does. I think they probably all have children. Well, imagine. Rod Stewart had the jams, too. Wake up, Maggie. You know I got something to say. How old was Mackey?
Starting point is 00:55:05 Great question. We don't know. We don't know. Great question. All right, Rolling Stones, Brown Sugar, 1971. What's that about? Brown sugar? Well, this one is not just about age, but it's about race. Yeah. Just like a black girl should. The song is about slavery, sex, and underage girls, and has long been criticized for both racist and misogynistic undertones. The band has stopped performing it.
Starting point is 00:55:27 Yeah, that's a good idea. So here's a creepy one that most people don't know is creepy unless they know it. It's creepy because they feel like it's a love song at first. But the police, every breath you take, every move you make, every single day. No, no, nah, nah, I'll be watching you. It's a stalking song. Yeah, I mean, you're saying every movie you make, I'm going to be watching you. But it sounds lovely.
Starting point is 00:55:51 But it's not lovely. It's literally written as a stalking song. And it got so popular. We still, that one's still acceptable, though, right? Yeah, because they didn't do anything wrong. We don't know it's illegal. Maybe it's just. Stogging is pretty illegal.
Starting point is 00:56:07 Here is from Neil Sadaka, Happy Birthday Sweet 16. Tonight's the night I've waited for because you're not a baby anymore. Oh, no. About a girl turning 16. What year was that? That's not that old, right?
Starting point is 00:56:21 Neil Sataka's not that old. 1961, yeah. Oh, boy. Yeah. Like, I don't know. Maybe the laws were different than... Thank heaven for little girls by Maurice Chevrolier. No.
Starting point is 00:56:32 Will you see if that's in the system? I mean literally the entire concept 1958 It's not good I hope we don't have it in our system If we do burn the system Just light the whole room on fire Yeah
Starting point is 00:56:46 And then There's one called Christine 16 from Kiss In 1977 I don't usually say things Like this to girls your age Paul Stanley was in his 20s Gene Simmons was nearly 30 Christine and the song was well 16
Starting point is 00:57:01 So what do he say? say. We don't want to know. We don't want to know. There's a point where I stopped reading. Hey, Ray, do we have that really terrible song in the system? No, no. Thank God.
Starting point is 00:57:12 All right. Those are all on the band list. I don't know how I feel after that list. I don't know. Not really for band and books, but I'm good for banning those creepy songs. Okay, well, thanks again, lunchbox for that segment. You're welcome. Bobby Bone Show.
Starting point is 00:57:26 Story up the day. This story comes us from Louisville, Kentucky. A police officer was, you know, doing his job, training a new officer and one day he's on duty he's like you know what I should probably text her a picture of my pistol and so he'd take and I'm not talking about the one in the holster folks oh okay and so now he's a former police officer I figured that's what you meant by pistol I thought it was the pistol pistol me too and I thought well even that could be bad could it yeah if you send a picture of your gun like that could be seen as like a thread or something oh but this is worse it's worse
Starting point is 00:57:58 all right I'm lunchbox that's your bonehead story of the day What is it? There's a video, man, that I watched on TikTok, and I can't stop thinking about it. Because I love Tony Danza. Like, I loved Who's the Boss. I thought he was awesome. But this video is not a good look. Do you have the audio?
Starting point is 00:58:18 Play it. One, two, three, four, five. I was on those news shows so often, you know? Oh, set us up. So what's he doing? So he is, like, doing a press tour for, like, a TV station. Yeah. And they're about to put him on a local TV station.
Starting point is 00:58:30 And they don't, he doesn't know he's on. He doesn't know that they can hear him. And he's like, what is it? Local news, this is stupid. Why am I on local news? How long goes this? It was a while back. Okay, hit it.
Starting point is 00:58:39 One, two, three, four, five. Those news shows so often, you know? And those news shows are terrible. Tony? I'm telling you, I just realized it, because I'm hearing the news show in the background. You always think that you're doing those good morning shows, but this is one of those news shows.
Starting point is 00:58:53 I don't want to do this. Tony. I'm going to be part of the local news. How exciting. Tony Danza. I know, I can hear him. Right after murder and mayhem and the rescue and.
Starting point is 00:59:03 California. Tony Danz. I'm so excited. Okay. Tony, can you hear me now? Yes, I can. Okay. We're going to start the interview now. No murder and mayhem. Just the interview about your movie. You ready? All right, fine. Oh, you heard me, huh? Oh, every bit of it. That's pretty funny. Oh, man, Tony. Trashing the local news.
Starting point is 00:59:22 He was so kind of funny, though. Yeah, why we're so bad about that? Well, he's talking crap about something he's about to do. Yeah, I don't think he's a bad person from that. I think... No, but... Yeah. It's so cring.
Starting point is 00:59:33 man. Bobby, is there a chance that he's just joking? No, no, no, no. He wasn't joking, but I also think it's funny. He's like, yeah, you heard me. All right, all right, let's go. I think that kind of represents who he is.
Starting point is 00:59:45 Like, okay, you heard me? Let's just do it anymore. He got busted is what happened. That's pretty funny. Oh, I don't think I'd think different of them, though. Don't let that kill your vision and your version of Tony Dan. Yeah, like, if he said something derogatory or then we'd have to feel a certain way. But that seemed okay.
Starting point is 00:59:59 Remember the governor, Rick Perry? Adios, mofo. Yeah. That was awesome. Traffic stop. Remember that one? Yeah. Okay.
