Starting point is 00:02:48 It would not be on a calendar of, you know, the cat. Just hang in there. Yeah, it would not be. Right, it wouldn't be that. There's a lot in luck. Listen to Thanks Dad on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. What's up, everybody? Welcome to Wednesday show.
Starting point is 00:03:21 Morning studio. Morning. Let's go to Ray Mundo, our audio producer in the glass room. What's up? I was just wondering where you fall when it comes to friends, family, asking for tickets to stuff. Why is it happening to you now? Yeah, in my own personal life, there was a buddy of mine, South Beach. He asked for so many tickets.
Starting point is 00:03:38 I stopped helping him. Do you still talk to him? Like, did you cut him off completely? I cut him off for three years and we just recently started talking again. Wait, so now he's back in? After three years, you want tickets again? Well, he was back in because he moved close, proximity-wise. But he asked for George Strait in a different state and I said, dude, you don't even live there.
Starting point is 00:03:56 I'm not getting you George Strait. So that ended it for then. And then now we kind of got one of my family members asking for us to go to Garth and get this stuff for a charity. And I just want to know where do you draw the line and what do you do? Yeah, that's a tough one, especially if they're close. weird ones for me are when people go like, I use an example, uh, Brett Eldridge. Can you get Brett Eldridge to play at our wedding? Or can you get Brett Eldridge like send a video of him playing a song to my uncle?
Starting point is 00:04:22 He's a big fan. That's weird. And could I with someone who am I friend with? Yeah, but I never do. Uh, what you can say is, hey, I asked for me and they didn't even have any for me. So I doubt that there's any left. Because you don't have to just say no. I mean, it's a lie.
Starting point is 00:04:38 I'm all good on line to family if you need to. It's a lie, but if you put you in it, they're not going to feel like you're just saying no to them. Like, Amy, asked me for Brooks and Dun backstage passes. Bobby, can I get Brooks and done backstage passes? I know. I try to get the same things. I asked for some as well. You did?
Starting point is 00:04:54 Yeah, and they, I guess they're maxed out because I couldn't even get any. That's weird. I thought you were super close to Ronnie. I am, and even then I couldn't get any. I don't know. Y'all go to dinner together. Why do you keep fighting me on this? Get her out of here, escort her out of here.
Starting point is 00:05:05 Ray, that's what I would do. Well, and I got I heart country fest coming up in May, and I know Billy always hits me up because it's in Austin, but he's my best friend. So I think that's something I try and get for him. There are people and there are situations that you kind of break the rules. Or the boundaries are just different. So if it's Billy, everybody loves Billy.
Starting point is 00:05:28 We like Billy. Yeah, we like Billy. He's his best friend. I met him at 20. Yeah, yeah. If he wants to hire tickets and you can actually get them, cool. Or you can do the whole thing of, I'll give you another one. It's only semi-lie.
Starting point is 00:05:37 Hey Amy asked me for Brooks and down backstage passes. Bobby, can I get some Brooks and Dunn backstage passes? Yeah, can you say backstage first? Backstage passes for Brooks and Done. I don't know if they're doing any backstage stuff. I'm nervous. Anymore? There's some issues, but I can ask if they're still doing it.
Starting point is 00:05:58 And then, cool. And then you come back and be like, no, they're not allowing anybody else back there. I saw them posting pictures. You didn't see crap. You need to stop challenging me. Okay. I'm just saying you have to be prepared for the comeback. No, you just know too much.
Starting point is 00:06:12 Trust me, baby Billy over here, ain't going to know too much. Baby Billy. You got lie a little bit, right? That's what I would do. Or you could just say, no, I don't feel comfortable asking. Yeah, you could.
Starting point is 00:06:22 That feels awkward. It's got to be tougher for Bobby, though, because, like, you know these people. Ray doesn't know anybody. It's tougher. And I feel like I can do what Amy just said. Ask me for Brooks and that backstage passes. Bobby, can I have Brooks and Dun backstage passes?
Starting point is 00:06:35 No, are you crazy? You don't even know them. but you do yeah and what's the difference I mean you know I would do that I could do that
Starting point is 00:06:44 if it were me I'd be like no I can't do that I'm not gonna ask them now it's my friend I don't ask for personal stuff for a friend right you can do that
Starting point is 00:06:49 so why don't you just say that I like to lie it's fun I like to lie and report back on the show about how it went but there are ways depending on who it is
Starting point is 00:06:56 to massage around that but that stinks well they think you're cool if they're asking you for cool stuff yeah it ended awkward though with the charity thing with the family members
Starting point is 00:07:04 so I was curious because it's awkward Because I guess they wanted something from Garth Brooks. Yeah. How did it end awkward? Somebody die? Well, now, Bezer had already asked for her work for a charity thing.
Starting point is 00:07:13 Garth donated to that. And then we had a family member asked. We told her, hey, sorry, we just did a big charity thing with Garth. So let's give it a year. The next cycle, let's hit him up. Family member just didn't even respond. I was like, that's not awkward at all. That's weird.
Starting point is 00:07:26 Yeah, that sucks. That's on then. Three years and no talking now. Yep. Here we go. Hey, South Beach. Hey, South Beach, learn the hard way. Hey, tell them the story of South Beach.
Starting point is 00:07:33 Send that text. This is what happened with South Beach. you want to follow that? Yeah, I don't mind a little lie in the situation. As long as I get to bring you back out in the air and talk about it. It's the United States. Oh, Bobby Bones. I just landed my first real job out of college.
Starting point is 00:08:02 I love the work. The company's great. There's a lot of room for advancement. There's only one problem. I think my boss might like me. He finds little excuses to talk to me one-on-one, complimenting me a ways that feel personal, texting me outside of work hours about things that aren't strictly work
Starting point is 00:08:19 related. He hasn't done anything outright inappropriate, but it's making me uncomfortable. I don't want this to escalate. I want to shut it down, but I don't want to jeopardize my job or make things awkward. How do I handle this without hurting my career? Sign, nipping the romance and the bud. Yeah, this is a weird place to be because right or wrong, if you're like, bro, this is uncomfortable, he's going to hold it against you, even in ways that you're not able to notice, even in ways that you can't file anything on. So this sucks that he's made you feel uncomfortable in this way. The first thing that I would say to do, which won't hurt his feelings, is lie about having a boyfriend.
Starting point is 00:08:58 Because that's the way to do it in a way that he doesn't feel personally attacked. Now, it is a lie. And I only think lying is okay on like Tuesdays and the third Wednesday of every month. You don't want to lie all the time. but I think this is a safe lie that one doesn't affect you at work and two also what I would do is I would start keeping a record of the little things that are happening what day when it happened because if they do escalate you do want to have it all in writing you hope it never comes to that but he is a human and probably a weird one and he will hold it against you so I would bring up in a casual fashion that you have a boyfriend that's the safest way and then I would try to to over the next three, six, nine months, whatever is. Get out, out working out from underneath him. I'm going to say, like, really try to get a boyfriend.
Starting point is 00:09:48 Or that. You can do that too. That's a good one. Try to not work under him anymore, but in a way that doesn't seem like you're running from him. Now, you could do the thing where you just go, hey, bro, I don't feel good about this, but I'm afraid if he's a real loser, he would hold it against you. Yeah. Anything.
Starting point is 00:10:04 I would say, yeah, play the long game and do what you need to do to protect yourself. And I'm glad you mentioned keeping a journal or a log of some sort. It sucks. It's happening. By the way, we're not, you know, making light of this and like, oh, that sucks. But if you kind of want to play and keep this job and not have it, I would just say you have a boyfriend. And then with your log, obviously, if something escalates, then you've got your journal because you'll forget and things will get muddy. Like, I would just be very detailed with it. And that way you have it.
Starting point is 00:10:34 And if you need to protect yourself further down the line, you can. Or you can order one from Russia. I hear they're relatively cheap right now. A boyfriend? Yeah. There you go. I'm giving away my shoes and we're going to play a game here. I have too many shoes.
Starting point is 00:10:49 A lot of these shoes I've worn once or twice. I shouldn't keep them. I'm not going to use them. So we have Aaron on who lives in Kentucky. And Aaron's going to play a game here and try to win these shoes. Aaron, you have a few different types of shoes that you can play for. By the way, what size are you, Aaron? 11.
Starting point is 00:11:05 Perfect. Because if you're not 11, it don't work. Great. I have some Jordan 1 retro highs that retailed for 350. I've worn once. are red and white. They're, you know, the old Jordan ones, but they're super cool. I've got some like Alexander McQueen's that are dress shoes that had for a TV show.
Starting point is 00:11:19 And then I have some off whites and some sneakers that were about 550 bucks. I've worn them four or five times. So which one would you like to play for? I'm going to go with the Jordan ones. Good, good solid choice there. So what's going to happen is we're going to go to lunchbox. Oh. And he's going to, you're going to play for Aaron.
Starting point is 00:11:38 Yeah. All you have to do is name the museum. based on his nickname. For example, if I said Lunchbox, the king of rock and roll. That's Elvis. Correct. If I said the man in black. Johnny Cash? That would be correct.
Starting point is 00:11:57 I'll give you one more example. I almost went Clint Black. Because his name's black? Yep. Okay. The King of Pop would be Michael Jackson. Correct. Why are you giving me the ones I know? Those are examples because I'm going to let Aaron pick. Aaron, the over under is four and a half.
Starting point is 00:12:11 So if you say over, he needs to get five. If you say he's going to get under, he doesn't need to get more than four. So what do you think? Well, lunchbox get over under four and a half? Out of ten? At a seven. Out of seven. Yep.
Starting point is 00:12:25 I'm going to go under. Okay, so if you get five, he does not win. I know. And I hate to take the Jordans away from you, man, but you ain't getting no Jordans. You ready? Because he hated on me, yeah. Yeah. Oh, he disrespected.
Starting point is 00:12:37 He disrespected. He might like you, but he disrespected. Yeah, I get no respect. Ready. Yeah. Number one, the piano man. Oh, that's tough. Man, that's between two people, man.
Starting point is 00:12:50 Talk it out. That's either Elton John or that other guy. What was his name? I just had it. Oh, my gosh. It was in your head? Billy Joel. That's another guy.
Starting point is 00:12:59 That's the guy. He's bald. Billy Joel. But piano man, who sings that song? Because he's a piano, man. The piano man. Need an answer? I'm going Elton John.
Starting point is 00:13:11 Incorrect, Billy Joel. Oh, no. There goes one. Next up. Mr. Worldwide. That's pit bull. Correct. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:13:25 Gosh, I should be two and old right now. Next up, the queen of Tejano music. Salina? Is that your answer? Yeah. That's correct. Oh, I was like, uh. Good job, man.
Starting point is 00:13:39 Yeah, I saw that movie. Next up. Old blue eyes. All blue eyes. Old blue eyes. Old blue eyes. Old blue eyes. Old blue eyes.
Starting point is 00:13:54 singing in the rain. Willie Nelson. No. Franks an entre. So where do we stand here? He's got two out of four. If he misses another one, the caller wins, right?
Starting point is 00:14:08 Yeah. And if he gets all the rest of them right, he wins. Okay. Maybe he was right to doubt me. These are a lot hard. That's a good spot to be in. Yeah, you see, the odds are in his favor right now.
Starting point is 00:14:17 Three left, three left. Yeah, give me one I know. I cannot give you one other than the order that it's in. That's what I'm saying. The Rocket Man. Elton John. Correct. Yeah, I know that song.
Starting point is 00:14:28 Because I'm a rocket man. Woo! On my way! If you get the next two, you win. If you miss one of the two, he wins. How's he feeling? He's feeling nervous. Aaron, how you feeling?
Starting point is 00:14:41 I like my choice. I like my choice. Okay. All right. I like your choice too if I'm being on my way. Next up, the boss. What's his name? Ricky.
Starting point is 00:14:53 Is that a good caller's name? Aaron. Aaron. That's Bruce Springsteen, bud. That's correct. Ha! How you feeling now, buddy? It all comes down to this one. Oh, let's hear the nerves in his voice now. He's shaking a little bit. Aaron, how do you feel now?
Starting point is 00:15:09 I'm good, 100%. Look at him. He wasn't shaking. Oh, he's shaking. Lunchbox, if you get this, you win. He's going to have no shoes. He gets no shoes. He's got to work with socks on. That's it. Bare feet. Bear feet. Yeah, let's go. The final nickname.
Starting point is 00:15:23 Yeah, Johnny. The red-headed stranger. Huh The red-headed stranger Oh man, who's got red hair in the history? Books. Annie. Lots of red hair out there.
Starting point is 00:15:39 Carrot top. But they're not singers. Oh, man. Annie was a singer. Oh, was? Tomorrow. That's a movie. That's not a real person, dude.
Starting point is 00:15:49 Okay. Red-headed stranger. It's a play. It turned in a movie, yeah. Yeah. Did you get this? You win? Not.
Starting point is 00:15:57 Dang. I wonder if John knows who it is. Who's John? The guy on the phone. Aaron. Whatever. Ask him if he knows it. Hey, Aaron, do you know it?
Starting point is 00:16:07 I don't, but I'm feeling very confident. The red-headed stranger. The red-headed stranger. That sounds like an outlaw, man. Willie, he's only had gray hair when I've known him. Bofeasus. I've heard of that name. That's not a thing.
Starting point is 00:16:23 Do you say bophethis? It's not a thing? That's just a lisp. Oh, isn't that someone that, like, Guard. Bo the thiefist. What I've said is not a thing. Go ahead.
Starting point is 00:16:32 The red-headed stranger. You're going to have five seconds? Well, hold on, hold on. I'm talking it out. Reba had red hair, but she, that seems like a, that seems like an outlaw name. The red-headed stranger. Ooh. Five seconds.
Starting point is 00:16:45 Yeah. Let's go with Willie Nelson. That's correct. Oh, are you kidding me? Oh, no. That's correct. Damn. No way.
Starting point is 00:16:54 That's correct. Why? He has red hair? Yeah. He was a younger. And he was an outlaw. Oh my gosh. You had it from the beginning, man. Oh my gosh.
Starting point is 00:17:07 Yeah, you got it. You won. Congratulations, L.B. I would still pick under every time. Oh, man. You didn't have to that he still did. I mean, he did. He just made me after I beat him. By the way, but Bocefus. That is somebody, right? That's not what you said. You said both the FIFA.
Starting point is 00:17:25 But whatever. Yes, that's Hank Jr. Okay, so I was on the right track. You won, so he gets no shoes. Aaron, I'm sorry. We'll call Aaron in a couple weeks and try to play another game with him. But for now, Lunchbox, you're the winner. Man, that felt good.
Starting point is 00:17:38 It feels good to keep something for somebody. It does. It really does. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Okay, there he is. Aaron did not win. Lunchbox did win. Have a bad day, dude.
Starting point is 00:17:46 Wow. It's time for the good news. Tell me something good. A stray basset hound in Texas was found. It was trapped in an abandoned well for several days. So the renter of the house heard a barking, but the barking was so faint. He thought it was coming from three or four houses down. Never really could identify where it was coming from, but the barking didn't stop.
Starting point is 00:18:09 It turns out it was coming from under his floorboards. He called Animal Control, and they discovered the dog had fallen 12 feet into an uncovered well. So now they got to get down there. Eight rescuers, including members of the fire department and a local animal shelter, very tight condition. This is an old well that wasn't even being used anymore. They got him. They named him Timmy. So why do you think guys they named him Timmy?
Starting point is 00:18:31 Didn't Timmy fall down the well? Yeah, that's it. In something. Timmy's in the well, lassie? That's exactly what it is. So Timmy made it out. Three days later, Tammy was found a home, a person adopted him. Wow.
Starting point is 00:18:43 That ends up being a really good story. It feels weird when you just hear something making a noise like an animal and it's like in the house somewhere and you can't find it. Turns out it was in a well underneath the house. Crazy. Great story. That's from the New York Post. That's what it's all about. That was tell me something good.
Starting point is 00:19:00 We have top 10 famous celebrity couples. This is from us weekly. And so they list all 10 where both people are famous. Top 10 for right now, 2025. Amy, how many can you get? I can get three. Okay. And if you lose, there'll be a punishment.
Starting point is 00:19:16 Oh. You can't get three. Yeah, sorry, I should have said that first, but okay, lunchbox over to you. Can you get more than three? I can get five. Oh. Okay. Oh.
Starting point is 00:19:23 Eddie, do you want to say, name those couples to lunchbox? No chance. I'm thinking I'm like maybe there's one, I can guess. So you're out. I'm out. Amy? But if you get it right, you win. Oh, yeah, no. Lunchbox and try for five. Okay. You're up. You're up. Okay. All right, so we got 10 here. You can get five. I will give you three strikes. Okay. And go. Give me Jenner and Schumelieu. Close enough. Timothy, Shalameh and Kylie Jenner. That's one. Thank you. They're together. All you have to is get five. Okay. Next up, Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds.
Starting point is 00:20:00 Correct. That's two. You might get them. I don't know. Give me Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco. Three. Guys, he's on fire right now. I can't believe he got Shao Malay. I'll be out with you. And I had three and those three were not who I had.
Starting point is 00:20:16 Go ahead. Those were on your list? Now I'm in trouble land. Hold on. Let me think. He's in trouble land, everybody. I'm in trouble land now because I got those three. And those were the three I had on the top of my head. Gosh, who else is famous in a couple right now?
Starting point is 00:20:34 This is top 10 celebrity couples from Us Weekly for right now, like current right now. You said you get five. And if you win, you win all the money over here. I got cash over here. I had so many more than I got so excited about doing well. I flushed my brain. What? I hit a flush button.
Starting point is 00:20:52 Interesting. That's a tough button. Mine. Didn't I have that. Where is that? Okay. Who else is all over the? the TVs when I watch the TV.
Starting point is 00:20:59 Five seconds? Give me Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez. The fact that you know Lauren Sanchez's name? Nice. They're everywhere. Everywhere you go, there's pictures of them. I can't believe. I wouldn't have known her name.
Starting point is 00:21:12 Is she famous? And he's like Elvis Parsley. No. But then he's like Lauren Sanchez. But do you see them everywhere? I mean, they're in stuff. But everywhere. No, what's everywhere mean?
Starting point is 00:21:23 He just said. He sees them everywhere. The TVs. No, incorrect. That's one strike. No, I might be untrue. Come on. Unflush that brain, man. Come on. Yeah, yeah, let it build up. Jiggle the handle.
Starting point is 00:21:35 Let it build back out. Yeah, hold on. The tank's going. Man, what other celebrities are there? How did I fall apart so fast? I'm pretty disappointed myself because I have this. Don't give up. Yeah, you got this. I'm not giving up, man.
Starting point is 00:21:47 I'm just trying to think. Who do I see all over the TV? Like, are you seeing them on TV? I don't see them on TV, I guess. Yeah, where else would you see them? Your social. media. Yeah. I don't know. I don't watch, I guess, a lot of TV unless he's streaming. Yeah, but I mean, he's not popular right now, so I can't do him. But what person are you talking about? Did he? Oh, no, I don't think about him anymore. That's good. That's good. I don't think about him anymore. Like you've blocked him from your brain. I don't even say that word anymore. I mean, the one person I was thinking, the one couple was Jessica Beal and Justin Timberlake, but they're not, like he's not, like, no one likes him anymore. I like Justin Timberlake.
Starting point is 00:22:29 His star has faded. Because he got pulled over? I don't know. Give me Timberlake and Beal. That's not right. Incorrect. See? You pressured me into that one.
Starting point is 00:22:39 No, I didn't pressure. Yeah, you said it. But you didn't have it. You said it. You said it. You had no one else. You did it on purpose. I thought they'd be on that.
Starting point is 00:22:47 You need two more. Would you have two strikes? Yeah. Would you like me to give you one that you won't get? Or do you want to leave that open in case you might get it. Yeah, I might get it. You didn't think I'd get Lauren Sanchez.
Starting point is 00:22:57 But you didn't get it. That wasn't one. Yeah, you can give me one that I won't get. I don't think you'll get Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson at number 10. They're one of the most popular. They're celebrities. Most known right now, yes. They're celebrities.
Starting point is 00:23:16 They were the first couple to get COVID. Yeah, sure. And I'll try it. Right? And this is according to who? Us Weekly. Dang. Does Us Weekly pay attention to country music? Can you answer that?
Starting point is 00:23:33 I don't answer questions. I would say Us Weekly has like an Us Weekly country specific. People has country. I don't know. I don't know the answer to that. And what are we doing now? People or Us Weekly? I forgot.
Starting point is 00:23:44 Doing us weekly. All right. Top 10 celebrity couples. Both people are famous. Can you name? You need two more. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I know, I need two.
Starting point is 00:23:54 That's what I'm saying. We need worldwide fame here. Mr. Edd? Is Harry Stiles famous now? I mean, you know, they talk about a lot, but I don't know if Us Weekly talks about them, because I haven't seen an Us Weekly in a long time. But it's just anybody famous. It's not about watching.
Starting point is 00:24:12 Yeah, yeah, because, like, well, I mean, Saturday Night Live, you got Colin Jost and Scarlett Johansson, but I don't know if people pay attention to Colin Jost a lot. Are they on your TVs? He is on my TV on Saturday Night Live. Okay. And there's articles about Scarlet Joe. Hanson. She's hot.
Starting point is 00:24:33 Is that your answer? No, no, that's not my answer. It's not my answer. Man, are they? You can use a lifeline, though, if you want to go to one member of the show one time, but if they miss it, it's double the punishment. Oh, see, I don't trust them. I will tell you that I have them. I have two. You have two for sure? For sure, 100%. I have a few. But if you get one, and if they miss it, though, it's double the punishment. But it does give you a line to stay in. Yeah, it does give me a line to stay in. man
Starting point is 00:25:01 he doesn't even know what the punishment is my favorite part he jumped in was like I'll play the guy's brave a real camp doesn't care he's courageous yeah Morgan you look like you're pretty confident girl dang who could it be Morgan what's your lifeline
Starting point is 00:25:15 wait are you using her? Yeah I'm using her Morgan Taylor Swift and Travis Kelsey Oh my gosh Yeah How you didn't get that one I have no idea Number one answer Taylor Swift Travis Kelsey
Starting point is 00:25:25 Correct Oh my gosh I'm such an idiot You're an idiot You went Lauren Sanchez. I went Lauren Sanchez and I'm over here debating about Colin Jost. That's a good one. That still could be one. And that is a good one.
Starting point is 00:25:38 I would say they were both very relevant. I'm sure it was before you flushed it. It was there. Good point. Good point. I mean, Taylor Swift and Kelsey are like the most obvious things ever. You have one more. You got to move on, man.
Starting point is 00:25:50 You got one more. I'm going to give you 15 seconds on the clock. Yeah. Because you've had like an hour. Yeah. Yeah. You can see the timer above your head if you're wondering. Okay.
Starting point is 00:26:09 Give me Kylie and Jason Kelsey. They're everywhere. She's got that podcast. Oh, Kylie Kelsey. Yep. The number one podcast. That girl, she's everywhere. I was like Kylie Jenner.
Starting point is 00:26:19 Okay. That's your answer? Yeah. What has to be? That's correct, man. I can read just some other ones real quick. Oh, gosh. Beyonce and Jay-Z.
Starting point is 00:26:27 Man, they're not really anywhere anymore. Are you kidding? I don't really see them much. Zendaya and Tom Holland. You ever see the lip sing battle Tom Holland does? Oh, it's so good. It's so good.
Starting point is 00:26:40 And he's like against Zendaya, Zendaya. I forget which way to correctly say her name because it keeps getting re-corrected. So, and he's dressed like a girl. I thought it was a girl. He's awesome. Like crazy athlete. I think I see that clip and they say.
Starting point is 00:26:56 That's what you fell in love with him. Yes. Yeah. Another one, lunchbox is Megan Markle. Prince Harry? Oh, I didn't know they were considered pop culture. Who would have been your country ones you were talking about? What do you mean pop culture? My country one was Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman. Nicole Kimman and Keith Urban's on the list?
Starting point is 00:27:12 No! Why did I just go in my gut? Day trouble! I'm in D. Trouble! I'm in D. Trouble! Oh, no! And you're in your answer. I had it. Jason and Kylie Kelsey. Oh, man. Oh, no. Oh, that's so dumb. Can I change my answer? Yeah. I'm going to go Keith and Nicole. No, you already said that one. You can't change it to what I said. There's one left. You can change it if you have a better guess, but it's one left. No, I don't have a better one. I don't have a better one because she's a movie star.
Starting point is 00:27:45 Who? Nicole Kidman. Okay, but you never guessed that. I know, but that was the one I had. That's why I asked you about the- Amy. Do you think you know who it would be? I have another couple I'm thinking of, but they're pop culture. Dax, Shepard, and Kristen Bell. That would be a good one. Do you see them on your TVs or no?
Starting point is 00:28:03 This is the MoMA TV. My little TVs? Anybody have any other guesses? Did I carry around? The Beavers. Oh, yeah. Justin. I had that.
Starting point is 00:28:11 I had that. You can't do that. Morgan? That's before I flushed. I had the Beaver. That was before I flushed. Okay. Because that's the one I just thought about because it showed Justin smoking.
Starting point is 00:28:21 No. Zero chance. Not if they're against the beavers and the. No, because the Beavers are everywhere. Lunch vikes? It is not Jason and Kylie Kelsey. I'm sorry. Incorrect.
Starting point is 00:28:33 So you have missed, so you will be punished, a secret punishment. A win is a win. A win is a win. I don't care what I'm saying. Yep, that's me, Clivert Taylor the 4th. In 2023, former bachelor star Clayton Eckerd found himself at the center of a paternity scandal. The family court hearings that followed revealed glaring inconsistencies in her story. This began a years-long court battle to prove the truth. You doctored this particular test twice in so-ins, correct?
Starting point is 00:32:46 I doctored the test ones. It took an army of internet detectives to crack the case. I wanted people to be able to see what their tax dollars were being used for. Sunlight's the greatest disinfected. They would uncover a disturbing pattern. Two more men who'd been through the same thing. Greg Alesspian and Michael Marantini. My mind was blown.
Starting point is 00:33:06 I'm Stephanie Young. This is Love Trap. Laura, Scottsdale Police. As the season continues, Laura Owens finally faces consequences. Ladies and gentlemen, breaking news at Americopa County as Laura Owens has been indicted on fraud charges. This isn't over until justice is served in Arizona. Starting point is 00:33:37 But I said, lunchbox, you can have it because he wants it. talk about being on the news. Now, Mike almost handed me a clip sheet. I don't know the clips. If I see the clip sheet, is it going to run the game? It is. Okay, then I don't want the clip sheet. Okay, Scooby said it would run the game.
Starting point is 00:33:52 I know nothing about it, Lunchbox. So walk us through. Your dream is to be on the local news. Man, I always talk about I want to be on the news and, oh, I'm going to be on the news that would make my day. So I made the news. Okay. I am going to be on the news.
Starting point is 00:34:06 And I mean, it is awesome. I saw the news camera set up, and I walked right up to him. And I said, do you need a star? Well, you said that to the news? The news? I'm looking for a star. Like a, I would think like a star sticker or a star. Like, I wouldn't think like a star.
Starting point is 00:34:25 They're covering a murder and he's like, you need a star? Okay, so I don't know what the clip from. So my question, oh, this is me walking up to the news. You want to hear me walk up to it? Oh, you forgot about the clips? Did you forget the clips? No, no, I remember the clip. But do you guys want to guess what?
Starting point is 00:34:37 Do you guys want to guess what? Why I would be on the news? What was the news? Should you play the clips first, though, if it's not ruining it? See, this is why I need the bit. No, the second one would definitely ruin it. But the first one, can we play? Yeah, we can play the first one.
Starting point is 00:34:49 Okay, go ahead. So you need another TV store or what? Do you want to talk? Yeah, let's talk. Let's do it. Absolutely. Oh, under my shirt, that's right. Rookie mistake.
Starting point is 00:35:03 Rookie mistake. Perfect right there. Perfect. It sounds like they're at like, something. with kids. Well, I'd also like to say this about the news. And Eddie can do it too, because Eddie worked in the news for a long time. They rarely put a mic on you. They hold a mic to you in the news. Usually they have the stick mic, which is really just to get an interview. Yeah. Okay, do you want to give some options? Option number one, I witnessed a crime. There was a crime scene and the guy was doing
Starting point is 00:35:28 some reporting and he wanted to get my first person view, like my perspective. Weird thing to go up and be like, saw a crime. You want to start? But I hear you. Go ahead. Second one. They wanted to interview me about my, you know, rec soccer. My grown up playing rec soccer. Why do I still play soccer? Okay, I did hear some background in that. We won't play it again because if we didn't catch it. We can't catch it.
Starting point is 00:35:49 Okay, go ahead. Number three, question of why are parents so into youth sports? Is it still out of control? Do parents need to be rained in? That seems like that would be it because you'd feel like do you want someone else to talk about it. Okay, go ahead. Number four, it's finally nice outside. The weather is turning.
Starting point is 00:36:08 Are you excited to be outdoors more? Terrible news story. But it sounds like they're indoors. We can't hear the clip again because I didn't catch that. I know, but I felt like they were inside some sort of gym. Why can't we play the next clip? Because it'll be part of my on-camera interview. Got it, fair enough.
Starting point is 00:36:28 And I talk about what I'm talking about. What do you feel like it is? I forgot what was the first one again? First one was crime. Got a haircut? No, you witnessed a crime. Oh, got it. That's not it.
Starting point is 00:36:38 That's definitely not it. It's not it. I'm going with parents. Oh, the last two. It's one of the last two. Aggressive parents. I'm going with parents in games. Although you made a great point, Amy.
Starting point is 00:36:51 Although it's a terrible news story. News has terrible stories now. Well, they're like all indoors and they're like, hey, guess what? The weather's about to turn. Yeah. How do you feel of all these kids cooped up in this building? I'm going parents at youth sports. You?
Starting point is 00:37:05 I'm going to go with the last one, the weather just because. That's good though. I'd pick yours, but... Well, we both want to pick each other, but we didn't. That's weird. Okay, go ahead, Eddie. I'm going to go with the weather. I think they said, hey, send a camera crew out and do it a little store in the weather.
Starting point is 00:37:18 And Eddie used to work in news. But then how would he know what to walk up and do? Were you hearing other people talk about this situation? I just saw one person talking and the person didn't look comfortable on camera and I was like, this dude needs to. You're judging someone else being interviewed? Dude was fidgety, didn't have much to say. So once he got done, I went up and said, do you need a star?
Starting point is 00:37:38 A TV star. I'm going parents at youths. And you guys are going weather. Both are great answers. It can't be rec soccer. Because really who gives a crap. And then witness to crime, I don't feel like you would see a crime and be like, I got a little something over here.
Starting point is 00:37:50 Yeah, you need a star. Do you want to hit the clip? Is that what we do next? Yeah, go ahead. Hit the clip number two, man. What do you end about yourself? Then I still got it. Oh, God, soccer.
Starting point is 00:38:02 Is it a good feeling? It's a good feeling. I mean, I'm not messy. You know, I'm not Walker Zimmerman. I'm not that good. I'm not Honeymootaur, but I can still play soccer and it's great. When you have the social environment as well here, men, women,
Starting point is 00:38:16 all different walks of life, different ages coming together. What do it leave in this? Like, it shows how crazy it is. Like, how big it is. Like, you don't realize how many people play soccer. Like, it's... I'm done. Wait, so, did he actually make the news? The news is not aired yet. The guy's
Starting point is 00:38:32 gonna let me know when it's going to be on. Usually that stuff's daily. That's somebody's phone shooting that episode. No, no, no, he had a camera. It's not too all over again. He had a camera on it, and I mean, I have a picture of me being interviewed, and this is him at the end. This is how good I was.
Starting point is 00:38:49 Listen to what he has to say about me. Thank you so much. Hey, thank you. You're natural, man. First this and then commercials. Yeah, that's what I do radio for. Yeah, that's my radio name. Oh, no.
Starting point is 00:39:01 So we're the Bobby Bone show. We do the morning show. Okay, we got that. We got that. Okay. Oh, yeah. The guy's never heard of my job. Can I put that on that?
Starting point is 00:39:10 That's right, absolutely. Okay, awesome. Yeah, cool. When is this going to be doing any idea? Between March 10th and the 50s, something like that, we're doing like an on-tour segment where we're doing sports stories in different counties. Oh, sweet. And so Davidson County, we're doing some poet soccer.
Starting point is 00:39:22 Okay. And, yeah. Hopefully I made a cut. Well, I'll get some shots of you playing. Okay. Oh. What's up? Did you hear me?
Starting point is 00:39:31 He said, I'm a natural. What's next? Commercials? Oh, my goodness. He's got a talent scout. But you did do a good job. I knocked it out of the park. And he's going to get shot.
Starting point is 00:39:40 He's going to get shots to you playing. Wow. This could be how you end up at MLS playing soccer in the big games. He did. He sat there and filmed the game. I have a friend that was literally running on a college campus, running because he was a college baseball player. He was literally running on a campus to run for exercise. And the cross-country coach saw him, put him on the team.
Starting point is 00:39:59 He got a full scholarship, ran cross-country, and then out-out-school ran cross-country. This could be that. Wow. I might do that. No, you can't. You can't do it. to like happen to you. That's what I'm saying. This might be me. I mean, how cool is that guys? I'm going to get on the news. Hey, when you see the news, you go make the news.
Starting point is 00:40:14 I'm a little shocked, though, that he didn't recognize lunchbox being famous and everything. I think he was trying to play cool. Oh, good point. Got it. So will you let us know what it airs? I will. Okay. There he is. Our guy. Yeah. Wow, wow, wow. The guy's doing his brother-in-law after he filled his brother-in-law's belly button with super glue. Like, that's pretty funny. That's pretty funny. That sucks if it happens to you. But like all the words are funny. Belly button, super glue, brother-in-law. Like, a lot of funny words there.
Starting point is 00:40:43 A man says he filed a legal claim against his brother-in-law, following a prank in which the super glue was poured into his belly button while he slept. He writes that he and his wife and her family are furious. After he took his brother-in-law to small claims court, he had no choice. A few months ago, we were at a family barbecue. I had a few too many beers. It's always that. It's always that.
Starting point is 00:41:05 You knew there were beer. Somewhere beer was going to be involved in this story. And I fell asleep in a hammock with my shirt off. A brother-in-law who was completely sober thought it would be hilarious to fill my belly button with super glue. So if he had been drinking, would it make it better? Well, I also agree. It is hilarious. It's funny. Yeah, I would agree with the sober brother-in-law.
Starting point is 00:41:24 It's hilarious. At some point, I must have touched it because when I woke up, I had glue partially dried in my belly button and my finger in my belly button. Oh, no. We tried to remove it, but it was stuck. The glue had adhered to my skin, and when we attempted to peel it off, it cost some tearing around the edges. While the man explained that the insurance policy comes with a $1,000, or excuse me, $1,000 copay, he went to the ER because he could not remove the glue on his own. They used a solvent and ointment to remove the glue. He was left with the medical bill of $2,000.
Starting point is 00:41:59 He then asked his brother-in-law to cover the cost, but he refused, after trying to resolve a private. I took him to small claims court and I won. However, he still hasn't paid. This is caused a major rift to my family from people. So two things can be true at once. The first thing that's true, hilarious. Hilarious. Guys drunk, shirtless, in a hammock.
Starting point is 00:42:20 You just have some super glue laying around. I mean, what else are you going to do? And with that part, you're kind of thinking, why would you take them to small claims court? That seems ridiculous. But then when you learn there's a $2,000 medical bill. I would even say, I don't think they tried hard enough to get his finger unglued from his belly button.
Starting point is 00:42:35 You mean without going to the ER? Yeah, because that's easy. There are a lot of things. A lot of, you just Google how to get. Mm-hmm. Yeah, it's going to take a minute. I don't know that that's an ER trip. I've super glued my hand to things before.
Starting point is 00:42:52 What if they present evidence that they did Google and they did try a home remedy and it didn't work? I'd say, get better at Googling. That's what I'd say. Okay, so they go to the ER. Now, the other thing that can be true is sometimes prank. do go wrong and you have to pay the consequences. So he should have paid the money. But also why in the world at the ER is a little solvent rubbing it together?
Starting point is 00:43:11 Why is that $2,000? Well, they're the co-pay too. But it's your ER fee. I mean, if you're going for anything, a broken toe and they can do nothing for it, $4,000. Like that's our medical system. Oh, yeah. We don't got health care here. Shout out.
Starting point is 00:43:27 If you lived in Canada, free. You can do pranks all day long with Superglowing Canada. It's all free. That sounds fun. So, A, funny. B, should have paid the money. Even if he didn't have it, he should have installed it back. So I can agree with the guy.
Starting point is 00:43:45 C, don't go to sleep in a hammock drunk with no shirt and have a really deep belly button. It's too enticing. It is too enticing. Like, now I want to do this to somebody from reading this story. So he should have actually, if this would have been a mailbag, I would have said, hey, pay him back in installments of like a hundred bucks a month or something. What are our belly buttons on the wheel? And I wonder if the guy woke.
Starting point is 00:44:07 Yes, let's go. Amy with a great wheel suggestion. Also, thinking about like the glue in the belly button and like if you were to Google it now, how do you unstick super glue from your body?
Starting point is 00:44:26 Because I'm sure this happens a lot. And has this joke been done before? And did the guy when he woke up think it was funny for at least a minute? And the wife. Who, that's a good question. She was mad to. Soaked the affected area in warm, soapy water or gently rub with acetone-based nail polish remover.
Starting point is 00:44:40 Okay. They didn't even do that. They went to the stupid E.R. Sounds easy. This is the bonehead story. Everybody's a bonehead in this one. I would have had the phone on him when he woke up to see if he thought it was funny for a minute. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:44:53 Because if he thought it was funny for a minute, I'd have been like, you thought it was funny, too. Like, what do you want? You've done the same thing to me. Yeah, it says right here. Or you can soak it longer and warm, soapy water. Or you can use petroleum gel. Okay, they don't know how to Google. Justice for the superglower, that's what I say. All right, voicemail here from Will and Mississippi.
Starting point is 00:45:15 Just wondering if Amy's going to keep Brown is the last name since what she's known for, she gets remarried. Oh, if I get remarried? Yeah. I don't think. Do it. Do it. I mean, I would probably just keep it professionally, but I wouldn't keep it on my, like if I got remarried, I'd get a new last name. Go hard, go Amy Black. Oh, okay. Just get darker. Is that? Just change it to that? Yeah. Just thought about that at all? I haven't, but I do know me and I know that I would change it to my new husband's last name personally, but Amy Brown, I guess I would just keep it professionally
Starting point is 00:45:54 I needed to. What do you think? What would you do as my advisor? Well, your kids are brown. Exactly. However, your daughter, if she gets married, it will change. So you're only really staying. Yeah, but right now she says her look with guys, probably never going to happen. I'd probably just keep it. Amy Brown.
Starting point is 00:46:13 Yeah, my kids. I mean, growing up, my parents were divorced, but my mom was always our last name. And she kept that, even though my dad got remarried and he had a wife with his last name. My mom had it still. I like Amy Green, too. Oh, yeah, we could just pick a color. That's what I'm saying. A normal last name.
Starting point is 00:46:30 color, Amy black, Amy red's on a color. Amy blue. Not really. I mean. Blue's a color? Amy blue would be nice. Blue's not a real common last name. I know blue's a color. Oh, I thought you said it's not a color. I was like, what? Gray, Amy Gray. Is that a last name? Yeah. Jennifer Gray. Ah, yeah. That's true. Just switch it up. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:46:49 Okay. Depending on the season. I mean, you won't go crazy? Amy purple? That's crazy. That doesn't feel, doesn't roll off the tongue. Amy Aqua. Amy Turquoise? Okay, now we're stupid. It's time for the good news. With lunchbox. Tell me something good.
Starting point is 00:47:08 Genevieve Petto is a reading teacher in elementary school, and she's pregnant, but she's still going to go teach those kids how to read. And she's teaching the class, and she's like, ah, man, I'm feeling some pains. Oh, those pains are coming fast. And so she gets on the phone and says, hey, can the nurse come check me out? The nurse goes down to the room. Oh, my gosh, you're having the baby. You're having the baby.
Starting point is 00:47:28 Clear a space, clear a space, puts her down on the floor. 10 minutes later, baby Cora is born. So question, would you rather have that happen in that same situation and then the baby is out in 10 minutes and everybody ends up safe? Or a seven hour labor in a hospital where it's all planned and there's nothing unexpected happen? I think seven hours later at the hospital because Todd Petto, baby daddy, a.k.an husband, he wasn't there. He didn't get to be there when baby Cora was more. But again, it's 10 minutes. And so it doesn't even hurt that.
Starting point is 00:48:04 You're thinking from the dad perspective. I guess I'm thinking for how painful it is to have a child. Oh, probably. She wants it done in 10 minutes. Like if it would just come at any time, you don't know when, and there'll be somebody there to help you, but it's only going to take 10 minutes. Would you do that or would you have a 7, 8 hour labor at a hospital
Starting point is 00:48:17 where you're there and prepared? Eddie? I feel like it's safer at the hospital because they have everything they need. But this is safe because everybody is out. But you're at a school, though. And you never know when it's coming, but it's only 10 minutes. No. I think you'd rather have the 10 minutes.
Starting point is 00:48:28 I think 10 minutes too. And what's crazy is Todd's also a teacher, but he's at a different school. So they had to call him in his classroom and be like, hey, you're a dad. Oh, wow. Is that what happened? Hey, you're a dad. Okay. All right, guys, keep taking your test.
Starting point is 00:48:41 Good story. That's what it's all about. That was Tell Me Something Good. Over to Amy for the morning corny. The morning corny. What do you call an angry counselor? What? They're a pissed.
Starting point is 00:48:59 Top five. That's good. Top five ever. That was the morning corny. Boy, she's on her roll. She had Gucci, Gucci, Gucci. Yeah. And then there's, that's...
Starting point is 00:49:08 Okay. She's on it. She's on it. Oh, don't build it up. You built it up. So there's a story about Leo DiCaprio. He's going to possibly be in the evil-can-eval biopic. And evil can-cneville was a guy who jump motorcycles.
Starting point is 00:49:24 And I know he is, but barely. He's a daredevil, right? But, yeah, very. Like, it was huge. like the 70s and 80s. It's born in the 80s. Sorry, Eddie. I remember Evil Caneval. Yeah, yeah, of course. So Morgan was born in the 90s.
Starting point is 00:49:38 So any chance she knows who Evil Caneval is and what he does? I feel like she's probably heard of him. But what he does? Not exactly. Oh, man, she has to. Her dad had to watch that stuff. So she had to learn from her dad. I think she might think of like David Copperfield or something. I have a list of people from, if you're born in the 80s,
Starting point is 00:49:56 she should know who they are. How many will she get right? I have seven. I have Evil Knievel, the California raisins, the Noid, the Tanya Harding Nancy Kerrigan scandal, Ed McMahon, Millie Vanilli, and Ross Perrault. How many of the seven will she get? I'm going to say three. That's what I had three. I say two.
Starting point is 00:50:17 I say four. Okay. Let's bring, in a second, we'll bring Morgan born in the 90s in. Let's see how many she gets next. Morgan, what year were you born? 1993. So Leonardo DiCaprio is in talks to star in a movie about evil can evil. And so we have seven people that we know or things that we know and we're going to see if you know them.
Starting point is 00:50:38 Oh boy. We've all guessed how many you would get right. Okay. So I just need you to tell me if you know, tell me what they do. Okay. So like who they are? Yeah. Just give me some information about them.
Starting point is 00:50:47 They're all real people? I mean, yes. We know them from our life. Okay. You being born 10 years after us or in Eddie's case 25 years after. Okay. Evil can evil. What did you do?
Starting point is 00:51:01 Evil Caneval feels like he was a villain in something. Like a villain and a movie. And even if you don't know, I need an answer. Yeah. I mean, his name is evil. I don't know what from though. I feel like he's a big pop culture moment from being a character. So evil can evil would have been a TV character, a villain.
Starting point is 00:51:23 A villain on a TV show. Yeah. Okay. That is incorrect. Evil Caneval was a Daredevil motorcycle jumper, like real life and would just jump stuff on television or jump the Grand Canyon, broke all the bones in his body. Here you go.
Starting point is 00:51:36 Robbie can't see it from where he is now. He can't see where he's landing. He'll have to orient himself right, and they'll have to land perfectly. So, and, like, he would do on live television and then wipe out. Why is his man have a villain name, though? That's really throwing me up.
Starting point is 00:51:54 That's just his name, right? Well, his name was Knievel, his last name. So they gave him, like, a rhyming name. Evil Knievel. Okay, next up. I didn't change my guess. The California raisins.
Starting point is 00:52:04 The California raisins? Is it a food you eat? I mean, it's a raisin. What do you? What? Like the little cute little red boxes where you had the raisins is all like. Yeah, no chance. I haven't had a California raisins like little toys, but you put your fingers in them and you made them sing.
Starting point is 00:52:23 Because they all dance and saying, I heard it through the grapevine. And they were raisins? And they were the California raisins. And they sang, heard it through the great mind. But were they actually raisins or were they people? They were a cartoon. Okay. Basically.
Starting point is 00:52:34 Okay. They were so big, though, again, I had like a little fig, little. Oh, yeah. No, we had veggie tails. Very different. Okay. Next up. The noid.
Starting point is 00:52:44 There's no context clues for any of these. The noid. Yeah, just do you know who they are? No. I have zero clue. The noid is. I mean, it's like rhymes of void. So I feel like it was like a black hole that happened and you guys named it.
Starting point is 00:52:59 The noid was the Domino's mascot who was like red had the big ears and was like guy that was on all the commercials. Here you go. Or take your chances with the noid. And he would like crush the pizza, make the pizza. Okay, next time. No, I have no. I don't think he even heard his name before. Ross Perrault. Ross Perrault. Sounds like it could be a wine. But I don't think that's what it is. But that's what kind of sounds like.
Starting point is 00:53:29 Ross Perrault. Is he a really famous athlete? Maybe. I'm going with athlete. Maybe he's a race car driver. Race car driver, Ross Perrault is incorrect. Ross Perra ran for president of the United States. He ran as an independent.
Starting point is 00:53:46 He was a billionaire. Before everybody was a billionaire. What year was this? When did he do that? 88. If I'm guessing. Ray, would you play the, 92, 92. Go ahead.
Starting point is 00:53:59 See, I'm the only guy that talks numbers. I love this. Nobody else will even talk about it. I've said it's like a crazy aunt in the basement. Everybody knows she's there, but nobody talks about her. Actually, it was a brilliant guy, and if you look now at what he was saying, he just wasn't independent. Nobody gave him time of day. Next up.
Starting point is 00:54:17 Millie Vanilly. Oh, they had a one-hit wonder, Millie Vanilly, and they got made fun of it because they weren't real. Or they were fake singing. We'll give that to you. Now, they had more than one hit, but they did have their Grammy taken away because they were lip-sinking. They never sang their songs. Ed McMahon. I'm thinking of an artist, but I don't.
Starting point is 00:54:38 I'm thinking of Edward McMahon. What artist would that be? I'll be... Is that the same person? Edwin McCain. Thank you. That's what I was going with. Okay, what was it?
Starting point is 00:54:51 Because now that guy's in my head. Ed McMahon. Ed McMahon. Was he an athlete? Was he? Yes. Oh, no. He was not only Johnny Carson's sidekick, but he was publisher's clearinghouse.
Starting point is 00:55:04 He'd show up with the big check. Here's the secret folks of where to win the best. biggest sweepstakes prize of all time. American family, join us. Now you can win $10 million. I do remember the commercials. Or was he just the one that made us think that's Mandela effect? Mandela effect.
Starting point is 00:55:21 But it was the same thing, same thing. Show up with the check. No, you didn't win. You didn't get that one. I know, but I do remember the commercials. I don't remember him, though. Hey, lunchbox, stop making up answers and saying you had it. Whoa.
Starting point is 00:55:31 That's what he does. I had that one. I did not have it. I do remember the commercial. One more. Tanya Harding, Nancy Kerrigan's candle. Oh, she was a figure skater. And you want me to tell me the whole thing?
Starting point is 00:55:41 Well, there's two people, Tanya Harding, Nancy Kerrigan's scandal. Well, I just remember I, Tanya, and Margot Robbie, and this was a movie about them. And she, like, cut her, and it was a whole situation on the ice. And I think it involved, also a dude was in there. You know what? We'll give it to you. Yeah. Yeah, so Jeff Galooly was Tanya Harding's, like, boyfriend guy, and he clubbed Nancy Kerrigan in the leg.
Starting point is 00:56:06 Okay, yeah. Yeah, yeah, here you go. Someone was running by me and he just like whacked me with this long black stick. You got two. Hey, not bad. I thought she'd get. What did I think she get? Three.
Starting point is 00:56:24 We both thought she'd get three. I got two. Oh, you got it? Man. We had better faith. We had no faith. You thought Ross Pro was a race car driver. We had no faith.
Starting point is 00:56:31 I had four. Yeah, yeah. Okay, okay. A win is a win. A win is a win. I don't care what you're saying. Yep. That's me, Cliver Taylor the 4th.

The family court hearings that followed revealed glaring inconsistencies in her story.
Starting point is 01:00:37 This began a years-long court battle to prove the truth. You doctored this particular test twice in someone, correct? I doctored the test ones. It took an army of internet detectives to crack the case. I wanted people to be able to see what their tax dollars were being used for. Sunlight's the greatest disinfected. They would uncover a disturbing pattern. Two more men who'd been through the same thing.
Starting point is 01:01:00 Greg Alespian and Michael Marantini. My mind was blown. I'm Stephanie Young. This is Love Trap. Laura, Scottsdale Police. As the season continues, Laura Owens finally faces consequences. Ladies and gentlemen, breaking news at Americopa County as Laura Owens has been indicted on fraud charges. Then you turn the radio on and the dial just keeps on turn. lunchbox more game two school the steve red avid trying to put you through mike is writing this week's next bit now bobby's on the mic so you know what this is yeah this is the bobby bone store it's a voicemail from preston we got last night morning studio i'm calling to see if you can help congratulate my mom jamy on completing her college degree my mom started her degree over 25 years ago and over the past six years went back to school online to complete it just last week
Starting point is 01:02:13 she turned her final project and we'll get her diploma in the mail soon. I'm so proud of her. She showed my siblings and I that was determination and hard work that anything's possible. My whole family listens to the show, so I hope we can all congratulate her together. That's awesome. Congratulations. Oh, wow. That's so cool. Awesome. I've been waiting to use this bell
Starting point is 01:02:30 for something. That works. Yes, my congratulations bell. I just hope a bunch of cows don't start coming at me. Okay, next up. Oh, that is annoying. Ray, give me voicemail three. I call back in January. I just want to let you know that my year's resolution is not going very well. The resolution was to try not to listen to you guys as much because I was missing out on all the current country song, but I'm failing because I'd much rather
Starting point is 01:02:55 listen to you guys. So if you could please lift that curse that you put on me, I think it's affected my dating life. Thank you so much. I lift whatever curse I don't remember putting on you. I lift that curse. You guys have to clap when I do that already. Or it's just a lonely bell. You're right. A lonely cow. the curse, but I lift it. I probably cursed you because my feelings were hurt because you said you weren't going to listen to us anymore, but I shall now lift that curse.
Starting point is 01:03:22 Now, for a long time, Amy, I've been dying to get a CMA. Now, we've received multiple for the show and it's been great. What an honor it's been. But I want a music CMA. You know, like, entertainer of the year, that'd be cool. I realize that's kind of out. Why'd you say that?
Starting point is 01:03:39 Oh. Nothing's impossible. Wow. You're right. Nothing's impossible, I believe. Okay. Yes, it is. Yeah. And so Eddie and I've never been nominated for duo. Never. And at times, we toured larger and had music go bigger than even the people that are on the list. Not to brag, but why not? And so our feelings get a little hurt. So I've got a new category that I'm going to try to submit us in this year because I want to win a CMA. Can't win an ACM because that's coming up soon and it's already to have your stuff in. Okay. So what's the category? The category is going to be vocal event.
Starting point is 01:04:13 which is when multiple people get together. So we wrote a song and we performed it at the million dollar show at the Rhyman, the Raging Idiots Million Dollar Show. And me and Eddie and Matt Stel. And Matt Stel sings, Have a single day. You know I see your face. I'm back a tito test.
Starting point is 01:04:31 I pray for you. And so we wrote the song and then we got out and we sang it. So what I'm going to do is I'm going to post it on all the services that you do, stuff. I'm going to allow a record label to sign this. I'm going to allow it. None of expressed interest. Do you have to have a record?
Starting point is 01:04:48 No, no. And none have expressed any interest at all. Right. And they probably won't. Not one. Not one. Well, I haven't made myself right now making it available. But I'm going to play.
Starting point is 01:04:57 This is the song that I think should go up for. I forget the category. Musical event. Musical event of the year. So is it, yeah. It's the raging idiots and Matt Stowe. It's awesome. Live from the rhymin.
Starting point is 01:05:11 Because anything's an event with more than one. artist. That's why it's called an event. You know what heck, it's an event? We raised hundreds thousand dollars for St. Jude. How about that event? We should put down the title. Oh, that's a long title, but you want it all on there? That sounds like an event to me. And the song is like barely two minutes long. Okay. And so, it's a song called Your Mama's House that we did, live at the Riemann, listen to it. Hopefully it's, it's worthy of winning or being nominated for event.
Starting point is 01:05:42 We didn't figure a musical event. All right, here we go. We just wanted to write a song that was like a your mama joke so we did and it goes like this. Never times get tough and there's a sign in
Starting point is 01:06:24 every room reminded me to live laughing. Watching property brothers sitting on the count picture with your tiny pecker out. Man, I really love
Starting point is 01:07:19 your mama's house. I find me. Not trying to be your stepdad, but I have not ruled it out. There you go, boom, thoughts. So how? Do we vote? Can we vote? Well, no, not yet.
Starting point is 01:07:55 You got to be like nominated and then it votes. Okay. So I'm ready. If that doesn't yell, because the title of it, I just wrote it down, your mom is house that we sank for St. Jude and raised over $27 million to help kids file childhood cancer. That's pretty good. What do you say, Little Weiner? Pecker.
Starting point is 01:08:11 Okay. Is that ever won in a song, Pecker? Great question. The first song. First song you ever went to CMA with where Pecker in it. See, that's historical. Yep.
Starting point is 01:08:21 It comes to music to all that history. Yeah. Dang, that's a great point. Maybe we call it your mama's house the pecker song that we sang at the Ryman for St. Jude
Starting point is 01:08:30 when overall we voted over $27 million to help kids fight childhood cancer. Gosh, that's so good. It's a really great title. It is. And it rolls right off the house. Yeah, it's like,
Starting point is 01:08:40 really easy to remember. Yeah, people won't forget it. And number 22 on the countdown this week. Like even just like at the awards, saying the title of the song, they're going to cue the music to like cast things. So even when they say that we won, they start playing the music to get us off from our speech. Yes. Like when you, anytime you say the title of the song, they're like, okay, that's all the time you have.
Starting point is 01:09:00 The nominees last year in this category, because we could see if we can compete, where songs like, Wade in the Truck, Lany Wilson and Hardy. That's fine. You look like you love me, Riley Green, Ella Langley. Never wanted to be that girl, Carly Pierce, Ashley McBride. Oh, these are winners. the winners of the last years. 2021, half my hometown, Kenny and Kelsey.
Starting point is 01:09:20 I think your mama's house, parentheses the pecker song at the rhyme and for St. Jude, that we raised over $27 million to fight childhood cancer, is up there with those songs. So right up there. Yeah, that takes up a lot of space. But you know what? I like it. It's different. So, yeah, I think we're going to try to get in on that.
Starting point is 01:09:41 Because Matt Steyl has number one. So he's a legitimate artist. Yeah. Y'all are legitimate artists. That's true. Exactly. That's my point. Well, it really wasn't my point, but it's my point. So, yeah, that's my new goal is to we got to figure out how to do this. I love a good goal. Let's go.
Starting point is 01:09:55 Yeah. And then maybe it's so big we get entertaining as a year. I don't know. I don't want to get ahead of myself. I want to get ahead of myself. I want to get ahead of myself. We could be best new artist as well. Oh my goodness. Even though we've been around for so long. Yeah, but that happens too. I know. Matt still, would he be a part of that though? Like, part of what? Best new artist. Well, musical event.
Starting point is 01:10:12 But if you do best... He was not part of our artist group. Okay. I mean, if he wanted to be arranging it, he could, but he's way too good for that. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. He doesn't want to do that. So this is a story about somebody getting scammed out of money because they thought they were talking to somebody that was the love of their life. And so rather than swiping and finding love, according to the New York Post, Katie Powell was scammed out of $40,000 by somebody on Tinder.
Starting point is 01:10:38 Quote, a turn my life upside down. and these are tough because you go do you really think Brad Pitt's talking to you but then you go man this is somebody that was so vulnerable they weren't thinking they weren't being rational and that's sad but Catherine Goodson who's 67 she's a widow from San Diego she was fleeced by all of this money because this guy was impersonating I think at this time it wasn't Brad Pitt it was Keanu Reeves oh yeah okay I'd have fallen for that one Now, Brad Pitt. Yeah. I mean, earlier, remember the one that was the Brad Pitt one? It was $850,000. I mean, and some of the Photoshop pictures were so bad. They were like, I'm in the hospital.
Starting point is 01:11:23 Yes, yes. That's funny. And she said, I love the man I was talking to. He knew how to talk to women and it was very well put together. According to the Federal Trade Commission, approximately 70,000 people reported being targeted by these flirtatious scammers just since 2022. That's crazy. She else $40,000 because she thought she was talking to Keanu Reeves.
Starting point is 01:11:44 I mean, they are casting a wide net. Straight numbers game. Yeah. And also, but getting on the app and making your available swipes, like 65 and up, there will be people there. And I'm not saying they're all vulnerable, but if you do find someone vulnerable who like husbands died, wife's died, it's probably a bit easier. I always feel terrible. At first, I go, man, how do you fall for that? But then I go, well, somebody that's going through something isn't being rational because there's sadness or depression or whatever it is. That sucks.
Starting point is 01:12:17 You think they ever get that money back? No, no chance. Like insurance. Oh. If you have to buy scammer insurance, we should just keep you away from stuff. Amy should get that. What? 20 bucks a month scammer insurance.
Starting point is 01:12:29 I'm good. That is something they could probably. Yeah. But then people would scam the scammers insurance. They'd set up somebody to scan them. Good money. Ghost Adventure star Aaron Goodwin's wife, Victoria, has been arrested in a murder for hire plot targeted him. Targeting him, I don't know him, I don't know the show.
Starting point is 01:12:46 But he's a host of a show called Ghost Adventures, and his wife has been accused of plotting to murder him in a scheme with an inmate in a Florida prison. She is 32. She was arrested March 6, so what, six days ago, in connection with solicitation to commit murder, which it feels like this is like trying to hire a hitman type situation. situation. She was arrested after authorities uncovered messages she exchanged with an inmate in a Florida prison. Officials say that she initiated the criminal discussion with the inmate as she reviewed ways in which she could escape the marital union, which is crazy because there is a way divorce. Right. Yeah. Or is it? I mean, it's a little, it's a little bit of work, but it keeps you out of
Starting point is 01:13:28 jail. Police cited text records that she exchanged saying that at one point she asked him for murderous intentions and the questions, am I a bad person because I chose to end his existence and not divorce? She tried to get Aaron killed when he was on location taping his program with another paranormal investigator. She committed to a deal which she pledged to pay the hitman a total of $11,000. The inmate, according to police, said to an associate, he's asleep right now in the hotel room. I need to know what's going on. Can I get an update? Was it done? So she's talking to the inmate, the inmates talking to somebody on the outside that is the hitman. Police said that evidence exists that she committed to put a payment of $2,500 down.
Starting point is 01:14:14 The criminal conduct was uncovered when the inmate's phone was found. So this isn't even one of those where somebody tells or it's a fake one. They got busted. Or that website, hitman.com that people just go to. Yeah, the person left their phone out in the cell and someone found it went through the text messages. That's tough. That's tough. And can you get a hitman to sign an internet?
Starting point is 01:14:34 Do you promise if I hire you, you're not going to tell anyone. Imagine you're also somebody and you find out someone was trying to kill you, like your ex-wife. And the only reason that they caught it now because it was somebody undercover is because an inmate left their phone out. Like you were almost dead. I feel like you get a second chance at life. Big time. It's different than almost being dead when they hire someone that's not a real hitman that's undercover. Because you were never really almost dead then.
Starting point is 01:15:01 because they tried like you you know you were creeping up on the edge of possibly being dead but you were never really almost dead because that person
Starting point is 01:15:09 was never going to kill you this person was going to kill him I mean how do you relax after that because like do you always I think I relax more because I'm like got them
Starting point is 01:15:16 and now everybody knows they're not going to try again no she's going to jail she's out yeah she's done well obviously there's ways from jail to contact him
Starting point is 01:15:25 yeah no chance I'd feel you always worry about retaliation from retaliators I don't know why Southwest is getting rid of its most recognizable perk from CNN.
Starting point is 01:15:34 Months after ditching its open seating policy, Southwest Airlines ending its most recognizable perk free checked baggage. The airline will begin charging for the first and second check bags beginning on May 28th. This is terrible. Oh, boo! Other hallmarks that Southwest has changed includes in cabin. Assigned seating will soon be introduced. I don't mind that. I'm fine with that.
Starting point is 01:15:54 I don't mind that. But I mean, golly, free bags, that's their thing. I think the best part was their price. cheaper. That too. But their prices aren't anymore and now they're going to charge for bags. The prices still are. I just had to book three flights the other day. I went to Delta. I went to American
Starting point is 01:16:11 because I was just flying one to California. They're still cheaper. Okay. Well, they don't love bags anymore. Well, they do love bags less. But the prices still are cheaper. It seems I'm not as helpless. I don't like get sponsored by them or anything. We want younger. Excuse me? Well, that's what it says.
Starting point is 01:16:29 Like men or? Well, glad you asked. What's that? From the proceedings of the National Academy of Scientists, studies show that when dating, both men and women prefer younger partners. The study of 4,500 blind dates of people of all ages seeking a long-term partner found a preference for youth in both sexes. In most cases, the person was looking for someone about five years younger and rarely was someone searching for someone older, especially significantly older. So the myth that it's just men who are interested in the younger sex is not true. Anybody haven't thought? Amy, we found this out about Amy recently.
