They start with a soil test and climate data to build a yard plan tailor to where you live, then ship everything directly to your door. no guesswork, no dragging bags of fertilizer. And instead of harsh chemicals, Sunday uses simple, nutrient-dense ingredients like seaweed, molasses, and iron.
Starting point is 00:02:09 Everything hooks up to a hose, which honestly sounds like my speed. If your yard feels more stressful than satisfying, Sunday's approach makes a lot of sense. Starting point is 00:02:54 Pin.com. Own the dream. What's happening, friends? Welcome to another week of hopefully good shows. I am your host, Bobby. I'm here with all my friends. Morning, studio. Morning. Here's a voicemail we got from over the weekend. Hello, Bobby in the studio. I listened to you on K-95 in the Richmond, Virginia Market. I was listening to you talking about somebody telling them they're never going to make
Starting point is 00:03:27 it in Nashville. Love the show. Love the positivity of the show. So I thought maybe you could flip it and talk about anybody ever give you any positive. advice that really changed your life and made an impact. I don't want to have that happen to me. And I thought that might be a nice little positive spin on something that started off negative. Wish you the best. Love the show. Career-wise, probably not.
Starting point is 00:03:51 But life-wise, sure. My head football coach in high school, Coach Gandalf, I mean, would constantly scream at us every day, that every day was a good day. And I thought, this guy's full of crap. Every day's not a good day. I hate two a days. I hate working out. I hate getting crushed on the football field.
Starting point is 00:04:09 Some days I feel sick. But then finally you start to realize that every day is a good day because you actually get to have a day. You actually get a shot at the day. A lot of people don't. A lot of people don't even get a chance to have a good day. And so that was just constantly just whooped into me to the point
Starting point is 00:04:25 where I actually started to believe it and now I do believe it. Every day is a good day. Because you actually get a chance to create something that day. You get to create a lot of. life. You get to live. You get to be above ground. So yeah. Mostly though, my career, everybody said I sucked. Let's be honest. Everyone? Yeah, pretty much. Until, you know, I started to, you know, our CEO was one of the first people to actually give me a chance and go, hey, I'm going to just
Starting point is 00:04:52 put a lot of responsibility on your back and I think you can do it. But I had proven myself up to that point. But, yeah, no, shout out Coach Gandalf. He was the one for me. But thank you for that voicemail. I like that. Let's now go. Speaking of positivity and do the Good News Countdown. It's the Good News Countdown. Counting down the biggest good news stories across the land. We're going to count them five to one and a number plays before everyone. Here we go.
Starting point is 00:05:20 Number five. A woman near Vancouver used to make small talk with one of her neighbors when she was walking with her dog. But now they're a lot closer because they just found out their half sisters. What? That just clicked in my head. One of their nieces did an ancestry thing online, made the connection. They both have the same dad. What?
Starting point is 00:05:42 Turns out he got around back in the day. They didn't know. There you go. Number four. Here's a woman surprising her husband and telling him that she's pregnant. Josh is on his way home, and I'm about to tell him we're pregnant. I can't wait. I'm shaking, and this is felt like the longest day of my wife.
Starting point is 00:06:01 Okay, here we go. What is that? Shut up. Shut up. Oh my God. Are you serious? Can have a baby. That's pretty cool.
Starting point is 00:06:13 Oh, man. He went straight emotion. Number three. Diane and Robert Finley of Dallas Center, Iowa, came to the conclusion that prison inmates were a group of people that were being overlooked, especially during the pandemic. So, thanks to their passion for books, Diane and Robert were inspired to send books to jail inmates to show them they are not forgotten,
Starting point is 00:06:31 and they continue to do that today. Number two. A guy in Ohio named Joel Wagoner has two kids with Down syndrome, 18-year-old Josh and 21-year-old Mary Kate. And he was worried about them finding jobs, so he decided to create jobs for them. So he bought an ice cream truck, and they launched a business together in April called Special Neat Treats. Since then, they've made over 5,000 sales. Here he is talking about an interaction he had with a girl named Maddie and how much of a rewarding experience it is. I was out at a school. They were doing a summer school for special needs kids.
Starting point is 00:07:05 There was a girl named Maddie. She came up to the truck after we had served and she said, thanks for making my day. Maddie, I want you to know God made you just like you are and he has something special in your life. And finally, a cop in Atlanta gave a pair of shoes to a homeless guy who was walking around barefoot. The act was filmed by someone who happened to witness it and the officer was seemingly not looking for any publicity for the act at all. And that's actually why we don't know his name right here. But shout out to this officer. And heck, all officers out there protecting us every single day. That was the good news countdown.
Starting point is 00:07:43 There was a woman who won $27.9 million in the lottery. And she was in such a state of disbelief that she kept a secret for more than a month. It just sat on it. Oh, wow. Crazy. I would go crazy. I would go crazy. No one had that.
Starting point is 00:07:58 But where I would go nuts is I would be so paranoid that I would lose the ticket or that someone would rob me or the house would catch on fire. I don't plug every outlet just in case like a lamp catches on fire. But they tell you not to tell anyone really, right? Yeah. But they say don't be spreading the news around. But a month.
Starting point is 00:08:15 That's a long time. Gina Torres said he, Gino Torres said he bought the ticket and then he was stunned to find out that he won. He went to three different stores to check it. My stomach was in. not. I was numb. I wanted to make sure it was real, so we waited for a month.
Starting point is 00:08:35 So you got that's too long for something to go wrong. I'm going to wait about six hours before I let the really close people know. I'm going to like, oh, that's tough. All right, mailbag time. You send an email and we read it all the air. It's something we call Bobby's Mailbag. Yeah. Hello, Bobby Bones. I just want to let you know that our family is really enjoying breaking Bobby Bones on Disney Plus. It's educational and interesting to see what jobs people do and get to know them a little through the show.
Starting point is 00:09:02 I also like that you're going to help them out in the end. My family and I had a couple questions. What was the most rewarding episode for you to do? And if you had to pick one job to pursue a career end, what would it be? Thank you and keep doing what you do, Cheryl. Well, the last eight episodes just went up last week on Disney Plus, and I'll just talk about those specifically.
Starting point is 00:09:22 I mean, the most rewarding, I played ice hockey with, you know, one of our heroes who goes over in Afghanistan is serving our country. He lost both his legs and an explosion. You know, an IED got him and, you know, he was obviously at his lowest point when he came back. But he had never played hockey. This is called Ice Warriors. Never played hockey. But got with some guys and said, hey, this is something you can explore.
Starting point is 00:09:47 And he did. And then he won a gold medal on the Paralympic hockey team. So cool. So to tell that story. That to me was super cool, and that's like episode 12. If I had to pick a job, it might be truck driving, because it's probably the only one I could do after some training. And I stunk at that one. But she was really good.
Starting point is 00:10:05 That was called Truck Star. And I had to drive eggs in an 18-wheeler all the way across town. But I think I like to be by myself, turn on the radio. Oh, yeah. That'd be fun. You know? Drive. I'm not a great driver, but if I had to pick one, that was probably one.
Starting point is 00:10:22 And then the only other one I would say is on I think episode 13 is called up a tree It's the one I hurt myself I would not want to be someone who climbs trees and cleans off with it with a running chainsaw cleans off branches To keep forest fires from spreading that was terrible and that was the only one that I really hurt myself and you can see that there The animal one stunk where I had to go under houses and three That possum skunks squirrels not for me But thank you for that email and if you guys want to check out breaking Bobby Bones it is up on Disney Plus they just loaded eight new episodes up. So thank you very much.
Starting point is 00:10:54 Close that mail bag. We got your email and we read it on your air. Now it's about to close Bobby's mailbag. Yeah. You fell in the bathroom? Yes, getting out of the shower. Slipped. My bath mat that I normally have laying there was being washed.
Starting point is 00:11:12 And when I stepped out, it was so wet. And I wasn't even paying attention to the fact that that wasn't there. And that's normally always there to catch me. and I slipped and I'm not going to recover from it. Ever? I don't know. What do you mean? It was traumatic because it's like I saw everything flashed before me.
Starting point is 00:11:32 And then I just hit it. Everything hurt. Everything still hurts. Tell me about the fall. Did you hit your back? I mean, luckily no, I did not hit my head. But the step, like my shower, you step, like there's a let or step up into it. And I could have like hit.
Starting point is 00:11:49 I was thinking of all the ways that, like, it went okay. You fell on your butt? So I was thankful. Yes, hips, butt, elbow. Yeah. How long did you lay on the ground after you fell? Oh, gosh. A while.
Starting point is 00:12:01 That's a good question. I did. And I yelled. I screamed. I moaned. I almost cried, but then I was like, stop being so traumatic. Was your daughter in there in the house?
Starting point is 00:12:10 Yes. Did she have to come help you? No, she did not come help me. She was later asked what was the noise. And I'm like, thanks for coming to save me. But yeah, no, I mean, it was just one of those things where I was like, okay, I need to always have my bat mat there. My bath. Bath mat.
Starting point is 00:12:27 I need to always have my bat mat there. And then I just, yeah, I feel like it's like a was a time marches on moment. But I feel like I remember falling in the shower when I was mid-20s. And it's an episode I'll never forget. Like I have a few life moments where things just felt so scary and awful, but I turned out being okay that I'll never forget. And the fall when I was like 26, this fall that I just had, and then in my early 20s, I sneezed and couldn't stand up because my back went out. Those are three moments that I just met the very traumatic events for me. They have a bathtub they advertise at like 1 a.m.
Starting point is 00:13:07 Sometimes I'll wake up too early. And it's an old person bathtub, but you get in and you can sit up in it. Oh, cool. It has a door. It is a door that you walk in and you sit up. You both have seen them? It looks amazing. Looks so cool.
Starting point is 00:13:21 I told Kayla, I like to call the 800 number, see how much those things cost. And so, but she'll kind of talk some sense to me and be like, we don't need that right now. We just had two bathrooms flood. We got them. But that bathtub looks awesome. And I had tweeted about it once. Took a picture of it and posted it. But you can't open the door to walk out until all the water drains.
Starting point is 00:13:38 And someone was like, why would you get that? You can't get out. You just step over the door. I'm not, I'm really, I'm not 90. Because you're agile. You could. But an older person, they just wait. I will take it.
Starting point is 00:13:48 Oh, wow. These things cost $3,709. What? Wow, this one's $3,300. You know, monthly plan. That seat in the bathtub, because the bathtub we have at the house now has like a little lumbar support. I will sit in that bath. I love a bath.
Starting point is 00:14:02 I'm going to say something that you got, the guys that listen to this show probably aren't going to respect me for. But I love to take a bath unless I've had a fresh spray tan. Oh, my God. Yeah, because you don't want to sit off. And that's the masculine minute with Bobby Bung. Never said that in my life. Yeah, something I'll never sing. The latest from Nashville and Hollywood.
Starting point is 00:14:22 Morgan No. 2's 32nd Spinney. Reba McIntyre is releasing a three-album set called Revived, Remixed, Revisited on October 8th. The project includes some of her biggest hits recorded with her touring band, a new spin on some of her songs, and some songs she recut in the studio. Runaway June is releasing a new project called Backstory on August 20th, It will feature three songs telling the stories of heartbreak growing up and moving forward. Shea of Dan and Shea talked about why they named their newly released album, Good Things. Through even some of the bad stuff that you've went through, you know, whether it's a breakup song or a love song, I feel like good can come from, you know, the dark places.
Starting point is 00:15:05 And that's just kind of very reminiscent of the album. I'm Morgan number two. That's your skinny. It's time for the good news. With Bobby. Tell me something good. A New Jersey man's free lawn mowing service has expanded to 16 states, including California, Colorado, and the Carolinas. Brian Schwartz of Wayne, New Jersey was laid off in 2020 due to the pandemic. So to stay busy, he started mowing lawns for elderly and veterans in his community for free.
Starting point is 00:15:36 And so the I want to mow your lawn was born. Oh, thank you. I want to mow your lawn. It's website, I want to mow your lawn.com. allows users to type in their zip codes from anywhere in the country, and it finds volunteers to do the yard work. You can also use the website to sign up as a volunteer, but the number of clients in need is outpacing the number of volunteers.
Starting point is 00:16:01 So he's like, hey, starts reaching out to the landscapers, and they said, yeah, we'll hop in this too and help out. So now here it is, it's growing to 16 states. I wonder, not looking at anyone specifically, but let's say this was where you were and you just needed your yard mode. I was about to say, can I just get on there? Because, I mean, my yard, I could use some work in there. I mean, what's that?
Starting point is 00:16:23 If I want to mow your lawn.com. Okay, I'm going to apply. Do you have to show some sort of like. I don't think so. I think it's probably on our system. Yeah. Dude, how awesome would be if we get free lawn mowing now for life. But I don't think that's the point of it.
Starting point is 00:16:39 Like you're taking away from someone that. Oh, they're volunteers. They want to mow a yard. There are no active volunteers in your ear. area. We typed in your zip code. Oh, sorry, dude. But you can keep checking back. I'll put it on there, so maybe he'll start looking for more volunteers in our area. But you would do that? Absolutely. There you go. Other than lunchbox this part, that's what it's all about. That was Tell Me Something Good. There is a new study that found the average parent will spend, get this, almost 500 bucks on back-to-school stuff this year.
Starting point is 00:17:11 Wow. That's up 20 bucks from last year. So we're going to play the feud. as in the family feud. We call it the Bobby feud. Oh, boy. Let's go. The question is, what's something that parents spend money on for back-to-school shopping?
Starting point is 00:17:27 And now we're going to do this by guessing a number because it's even for everyone. Guessing number one through 100, Amy? 25. Lunchbox? 50. Eddie?
Starting point is 00:17:36 21. The number is 37. Amy, you won by one. You get to go first. Okay. Are you ready? Yes. Close.
Starting point is 00:17:45 Something parents spend money on for back to school shopping, you say clothes. Yes. Show me clothes. Number one answer. One point. Okay. Um, backpacks.
Starting point is 00:17:56 Show me backpacks. Number four answer. Get yourself four points there. Um, pen. Pencils? Or, I don't know, pins and pencils. That's... Like, show me pins, pencils.
Starting point is 00:18:17 That's the number two answer. It was school supplies like pins and pencils. and binders. Okay, so binders, those are all together. Okay, that's what I was struggling with. Okay. Does shoes fall into the clothes? Hmm.
Starting point is 00:18:33 Shoes. Show me shoes. Number three answer. So right now, Amy is guessing something parents spend money on for back to school shopping. You have the top four answers. Clothing, school supplies, shoes, and backpacks. Man, school supplies
Starting point is 00:18:50 covers a lot of what you would buy. but I mean probably like food because we had to stock up on our snacks Show me food Oh man Okay That was good Amy Okay lunchbox Amy's got 10 points total
Starting point is 00:19:06 You can easily jump in this game here Yeah I mean One thing you had to buy for the room Is a box of tissue You always got to buy on the school supply list You got to bring that Kleenex Show me Tissue or Kleenex
Starting point is 00:19:20 I did not make the list. Eddie? Surprise lunchbox didn't guess this one. But it's your name, lunchbox. Give me a lunchbox. Oh, good one. A lunchbox. Okay.
Starting point is 00:19:35 Show me a lunchbox. What? I wasn't a good answer. It was. Round one is over. We do three rounds. Amy, you're in the lead, and now you have control. Okay.
Starting point is 00:19:46 Haircuts? It's an interesting guess. That's actually good, Amy. I mean... Something parents spend money on for back to school shopping. Really good. I mean, I guess it's not shopping, so... Show me haircuts.
Starting point is 00:20:01 Oh, I thought that was going to... Dang it. I forgot the question. That was just back to school. Well, they were backing you up and you forgot the question. So they were like, yeah, it's good answer. Well, I think they probably thought so, too. Because as parents...
Starting point is 00:20:11 We just got haircuts either day. Back to school shopping. Okay. What are you getting? Lunchbox. Back to school shopping. You're getting. Goodness gracious.
Starting point is 00:20:23 I mean, you already said pens and pencils, rulers, I mean, notebooks. Geez, I got paper. Well, that would be in part of school supplies, but we'll see. Show me paper. Eddie? All right. This could be something just not that we had to buy when we were kids, but now you want to send your kid to school with a phone. So let's just say get him a phone
Starting point is 00:20:51 Show me a phone Electronics like calculators iPads or cell phones Oh That's ridiculous Now we're in trouble Eight Yeah
Starting point is 00:21:06 Man bones I think Let's go with You always want them to know What time it is so give him a watch It's the dumbest answer ever said First of all it's not the dumb as answer you've ever said Definitely not but it was definitely dumb
Starting point is 00:21:25 but not the dumbest ever. Show me a watch. All right, this is the last round. Amy, you're winning 10 total points to Eddie's 8. Yeah, but... Off the board are clothing, school supplies, shoes, and backpacks. Also electronics, like calculators, iPad, cell phones. What's something parents spend money on for back-to-school shopping?
Starting point is 00:21:48 Back to school shopping. Let's see. Shoot. Oh. Okay. Nope. Okay. Fume and clone.
Starting point is 00:22:04 Herfume and clone. Interesting. Show me whatever there was that she said. Furfume and cologne. I don't know. Well, right now you're in the lead. If they don't get any, you end up going home. I have no idea what can be on there.
Starting point is 00:22:15 Go ahead, lunchbox. Yeah, a present for the teacher. A present for the teacher. Oh, good one. Show me that. Oh. Eddie, you need it to win. If you get it, you win.
Starting point is 00:22:24 If you miss it, you lose. I have something written down. What do you have written down? You don't have to say it. I mean, you have to take it his answer. Look, I don't know if this is just college. I know that I had to buy my kids a couple of these because they had to read it before they went to school. So let's just say books.
Starting point is 00:22:39 Oh, yeah, books. You have to buy them a book or books, textbooks. I don't know, just books. Books. Do you think Eddie wins with books? Yeah. I mean, that's the only thing. Oh, I can say that it's supplies.
Starting point is 00:22:49 Yeah. No, no. Yeah. But it is. I mean, because some kids. But a specific book is not a supply. Yeah. It's probably books.
Starting point is 00:22:57 because it's not Cologne. Show me. Books. And number seven is books. Eddie, you just won the game. Do you want to try to guess another one? Yes.
Starting point is 00:23:12 Go ahead. No, I mean, I don't have anymore, but I'll go with, I thought food would be one. Let's go with a Fitbit. A Fitbit, no. I mean, kind of, but not really. Oh, really?
Starting point is 00:23:28 Kind of? You can't fit it into these two. Here you go. Here are the other ones. At number five, hand sanitizer. Oh. That's a thing. At number six, face masks.
Starting point is 00:23:38 Dang. I forgot about that. Books at seven, electronics. We did that at eight. At number nine, sports equipment. Oh. Yes, of course. And then at number 10, software or apps.
Starting point is 00:23:49 You got to download an app. Yeah. Times have changed. But Eddie, congratulations. You win. Thank you. You are the champion. Wow.
Starting point is 00:23:58 How much money? How many have you spent so far going back to school? Way, way more than that. Way more than $500. You have three kids. We have three kids in school. Actually, my fourth one's about to go to a little pre- preschool. So, yeah, yeah, we're spending some big money.
Starting point is 00:24:10 Really? It's so much money that I haven't even asked how much money it is. Because you know that would put you into bad mood? Yes. Do you have rules about, hey, we don't get the most expensive? Oh, yeah. Like the other day, they went to the Nike Outlet Store. And they wanted certain clothes or whatever, so they're like, oh, I want this jersey.
Starting point is 00:24:27 The Nike Outlet store? Genius. They have jerseys of people that no longer play for that team anymore. Nobody wants to buy them, so we bought those jerseys. I love it. That's funny.

They put out a list of things that could get you kicked off a flight. You know, all in the news now, people getting duct taped to seats. But these are actual things that get you kicked off a flight.
Starting point is 00:28:58 One going barefoot. They can't kick you. If you're barefoot, they can kick you off the flight. Oh. So you take your shoes off and your feet smell and they're like, hey, you got to go. Well, I mean, first they'll ask you to put them on and if you refuse. Yeah. I mean, I don't think they're just going to grab by the collar.
Starting point is 00:29:14 Number two is looking sick. Oh, yeah. Due to drunkenness or maybe just they think you're coughing. Oh, really? They can ask you to get off the flight. Smelling bad. If you smell so bad, they will ask you to leave. You hear that lunchbox?
Starting point is 00:29:30 I'm sitting next to people that stink. No. Oh, yeah. It's a rough ride. Being too big. Oh, that's... Joining the Mile High Club. What?
Starting point is 00:29:40 Really? I don't really do that. On a public airplane. They give you wings. That's a myth, right? No, that's true. I'm sure somebody's done it. Who?
Starting point is 00:29:49 I don't know. I'm pretty sure I read a story about Chrissy Tegan and John Legend did. Yeah, probably on a private plane. Or they were going. Not on Southwest. Right. And like, especially the front bathroom, like, we all see who goes in there. We saw two people go in there.
Starting point is 00:30:03 Maybe I think the move would be someone goes and they're in there for 15 minutes or so. Then someone else walks up and the door is left unlocked and they just sneak in. That's the only way because two people are going together. One, it's going to be hard to fit in there. There's no room in there. There's no room in there. That's true. But that doesn't stop people.
Starting point is 00:30:22 Getting way too drunk. Yes. Breaking parts of the plane. if that's like a touchscreen or if you're, they can just go like your kids doing this too, they're saying. Touching other people's stuff, being a jerk straight up,
Starting point is 00:30:33 they can go, hey, we don't like your attitude, get off the plane. And then dressing inappropriately. Those are all. What does that mean? You ever see stories about women who get on and they're like, hey, you can't wear that because that's too inappropriate.
Starting point is 00:30:44 And they kick them off and the moment's like, yeah, I remember that. It seems weird. Oh, yeah. I think I combined Olympics and flights. But still, they do kick people off there sometimes. Or maybe something on a shirt, you know,
Starting point is 00:30:55 guys wearing a shirt that's offensive. The thing about Ramundo, who works in our glass room, he told me when he gets on flights, and you guys tell me if you think he's full of crap. Tell the show what you do when you get on a flight. Well, it's when I first see the flight attendant that greet you at the entrance to the airplane and I'll say it very quietly. I don't
Starting point is 00:31:11 say it all loudly, but I'll kind of whisper and say, if somebody gets out of hand, I can help. He says he tells the flight attendant that. How does he go? I'm the flight attendant. You're walking on. Hey, how's it? Welcome. Hey, how's it going? Um, just heads up. somebody does get unruly, I can help.
Starting point is 00:31:28 That's nice. That's really nice of him. What do they react with? A smile. Thank you. Not being sexist, but typically it's a woman as the flight attendant. So, yeah, they're always very nice. They say, oh, that's awesome. There's been times I've even gotten free drinks later in a flight. This wasn't now during the pandemic, but five years ago, they'll come up to you and go, hey, thank you so much for volunteering to do that. Here's a drink. Just thank you. Not all heroes wear capes. Some of them push audio buttons in a glass room.
Starting point is 00:31:52 Yeah. The chance of an asteroid hitting Earth is a lot greater than we first thought. NASA has raised the risk of that happening in the next 300 years. Wow. Whoa. That's a long time. 300 years. Right.
Starting point is 00:32:04 Does that even factor? Because we know we're not going to be alive? No. Don't think so. And our kids aren't going to be alive. Right. Our kids, kids. And probably grandkids aren't going to be alive.
Starting point is 00:32:14 But then the great grandkids. And are we worried about our great grandkids? That's the question. Like, should I feel selfish for not worried about being worried about the great grandkids, an asteroid called Benu is one of the two most dangerous in the solar system. The good news is scientists now have a much better idea of its path
Starting point is 00:32:30 and say, the odds are low but it actually could crash into Earth. They plan to launch a mission in November to see if a spacecraft can hit a space rock and change its trajectory. Nice. So they're just going to hit a random rock and see if what they shoot up there and if they hit it,
Starting point is 00:32:46 can kind of deflect it a bit. A remote control aircraft? I don't think people are on it. Okay. Good. But if they said you're the only one that can save Earth and you have to go up and man it and Eddie, you have to fly into it. Flip a coin. No, but I would say, come on, flip a coin. Give me a chance to not do it, please.
Starting point is 00:33:02 Between you and someone else or not do it at all? No, I mean, between me and someone else. Like, I'd like to be a hero, that'd be cool and all. But if I have a chance not to do it, that'd be cool. Yeah, but you're the one person who gets to save humanity. I don't know. I've been, then we just have to, like, drug him and make him do it. Oh, wow.
Starting point is 00:33:17 But he's drug and he won't do it. I miss the asteroid. No. Uh-oh. I saw four of them, guys. Hit the one in the middle. Here's Amy's pile of stories. Okay, so this date is next level, bizarre.
Starting point is 00:33:34 This woman met this guy on Tinder, swiped, whatever. They're talking. She's having a barbecue at her house, so she decides to invite him. Kind of a safe place because there's other people around. Well, he shows up, and he has a little box with him. And it's his mother's ashes. And he said that he likes attention. makerplaces, especially, you know, on certain occasions that mean a lot to him.
Starting point is 00:33:57 And this was a time where he thought that that was appropriate. And I think that's okay if you don't say that's what's happening. What? Carry the box around? Well, no, I put it in your pocket and never address it without well. Bring your mom with you, but like keep her hidden? It's tough because it does feel weird, but I'm saying if you're going through something or your mom died and you're like, I like to take my mom's ashes with me, I don't think
Starting point is 00:34:19 I bring it up to the person I'm dating. but if I keep it on like a little tube or something, keep in my pocket, I don't have a problem with that. It's like a lucky charm or something. But it does, I just wouldn't keep it walking around the box. I'm not done. Oh, oh. There's more.
Starting point is 00:34:32 When everything wrapped and he got in his car, he sent her a text saying, my mother really liked you. No. Okay, that's no way. And if so, he's struggling. It doesn't need a date right now. It's hard.
Starting point is 00:34:44 That's a good way to put it, I get it. Yeah, he's struggling. Losing a parent. Yeah, he's struggling. And maybe his mom, His mom would have liked her. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:34:51 Maybe. Oh, maybe that's what he's trying to say. But he might get the vibes when he has her with him. It's time for both of them to take step back right now. Okay, what else you got? So if you don't like the way you look in photos, then your camera person might not be hyping you up enough. So whoever's taking the photo kind of has,
Starting point is 00:35:09 it's like their responsibility to make sure they're like, hey, maybe turn to the left a little bit, look down, oh, I got you, this angle. Oh, you look great. And like when you get those, that feet, feedback, something about it helps you get in the mode of like taking a good picture. And another tip that I read is sometimes, you know, some, if you're like, oh man, they always kind of look great in their picture and you're jealous of it, those people might be practicing
Starting point is 00:35:34 their pose. And you could do that too. You can go home, look in the mirror, figure out what your best angle is and then work that every time you take a photo. There is something to having some hype around you while taking pictures if you're looking for that kind of picture because I'll go and do some shoot for something. and I'm like they're like do any music I'm like nah
Starting point is 00:35:50 they're like okay we'll just play some anyway and they'll play like 90s boy band list and I'm like this is stupid everybody and I'm like rock your body and then I'm feeling it and I'm like all right now I'm good
Starting point is 00:36:00 and that's when I take my best pictures so there is something to that I think I know so if you just the tip for people out there if they're asked to take a picture of somebody try to be their hype person it could work I've got the top five happiest country songs
Starting point is 00:36:13 who happy country songs I haven't seen this list It's from the boot. Yeah, let me think of a happy country song. This is of all time. What song makes me happy? It ain't my fault. It makes me work out.
Starting point is 00:36:25 Especially that. I got your hands up. That's a good one. That's not happy, though. Yeah, but it pumps me up. Yeah, but pumped up in good mood or different. Oh, huh, huh. Go you never want to see.
Starting point is 00:36:36 I'm gonna like this. Randy Hauser? Running out a moonlight? Yeah. That's a good one, Bun. Man do, bade, man. We want to buy me, a boat. That's a good one.
Starting point is 00:36:46 Okay. Do we miss all those? They're not on here What do you got? Number five. I like it, I love it. Tim McGraw. Yes. Yeah, that's a good one.
Starting point is 00:36:54 I want some more of it. That's a good one. All right, what else? Brad Paisley, American Saturday Night. It's a good one, but I'm going to be that happy. Two. It's good. Fine.
Starting point is 00:37:04 What else? You're going to have to tell me out with this one. Donna Fargo, happiest girl in the whole USA. Okay. I don't know that one. I don't either. I wish I was cool enough to go. It's one of favorite.
Starting point is 00:37:17 songs. This girl and the old. I feel like now I've heard it. Okay, what's the next? Alabama Dixieland Light. Oh, yes.
Starting point is 00:37:28 A Dixie Land Delight. All right, both, hey. Send my dollar. You know what? I don't think this is their happiest song. What? I love this one. I do too, but I don't think
Starting point is 00:37:39 it's their happiest song. What do you think? What's your favorite Alabama song? This one. We pull that down so I can think about the songs. This one or I'm in a hurry. I'm in a hurry to get things done Rush and rushing till last
Starting point is 00:37:52 But if I have to pick from the two It'd be Dixieland delight But I bet song song of the south Sweet potato pie and shut my mouth Or if you're going to play in Texas You gotta have a fiddle in the band That lead guitar is hot but not for Louisiana man I think that makes me the most happy
Starting point is 00:38:08 You remember your fun fact about Alabama The Bear Bryant's actually from Arkansas The coach of Alabama He is yeah Yeah. How about that, Taters? Huh? Roll Tide.
Starting point is 00:38:19 It's Marketsaw. Okay, and now give me the number one song. Travis Trit. It's a great day to be alive. And it's a great day to be alive. I'm Amy. That's my pile. That was Amy's pile of stories.
Starting point is 00:38:34 It's time for the good news. With Amy. Tell me something good. There's a teacher in Louisiana. His name is John Wonderjim. and he has decorated his truck with positive affirmations to encourage Madisonville Junior High students. He basically wants them to just be kind to themselves and to others. So he's got, you are strong, needed, awesome, unique.
Starting point is 00:39:04 And he keeps his truck parked in the front of the building and it's in big white letters. So it's just his way of reminding kids how awesome they are. It says you are in big letters and all those other things are kind of surrounding it. Yes. And that works for some people. I struggle with a generic, hey, you are. Because I'm always like, you don't know me. I like it.
Starting point is 00:39:23 For some people, that's a great motivation. Absolutely. Especially kids to like know that they, even if maybe they, it's like if they can hear over and over you are strong and you are needed, then they can start to feel that value. And I think, but like sometimes people post on Instagram, hey, you just need to know today. Somebody would say it that you're loved. somebody's really looking out for you. And I'm like, you don't know me.
Starting point is 00:39:47 How do you know? But then that wasn't for you. You weren't the one that needed it. See, I'm glad you were able to say. Somebody needed that. Maybe it was, but clearly it wasn't you. That's pretty cool though. He spent money to get his truck wrap like that.
Starting point is 00:39:58 That's a good story. Shout out to that guy's got a cool name too. What is his name? John Wonderjim. Yeah, that's cool. John Wonder Jim. Good for you, John Wonder Jim. John Wonder Jim, you are neat.
Starting point is 00:40:10 He may not need that today. Oh, okay. All right, there you go. That's what it's all about. That was tell me something good. This website, art of manliness.com, has the list of most manly smells. What do you guys think the most manly smell is? Gasoline.
Starting point is 00:40:27 Gasoline is at number four. It's top fiber there. What, like burning, fire, wood, fire? Is that a smell? Ashton. I don't know how to say it. Didn't make the, oh, yeah, campfire. Campfire comes in number nine.
Starting point is 00:40:38 That's what I'm looking for. Can you say something as easy as cologne? You can say it, but it's not on the list. Okay. Okay, another one would be fresh grass, like mowing the lawn. Oh, yeah. Number five is cut grass. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:40:50 Bacon. No. Bacon didn't make it. I do like bacon, though. But I feel like that's universal. I feel like a good woman smell, too. Yeah. I don't want to smell like that.
Starting point is 00:40:59 Sweat. Baseball glove at 10, like the leather. Can't fire at 9. A locker room. At 8. That sounds awful. It is awful. Sawdust at 7.
Starting point is 00:41:09 An old tackle box at 6. Yeah, that's a pretty distinct smell of like. It's like rusty. Plastic, rust, and just old fish. Like, that's it. I can smell it right now. Like, I like that smell, but with all those different smells, it's not so good. Cut grass at five, gas at four, shoe polish at three, black coffee at two. If I see someone just drinking black coffee, I tip my hat. Because that is disgusting.
Starting point is 00:41:36 Respect. Anybody here drink just straight black coffee? Mike D does? Oh. Well, he's a man. I mean, that's why he's got so much. hair on his chest. He does. Literally. Number one, hardware store is the number one most manly. I love that smell. I was thinking about the manliest qualities of everybody on the show, just as the guys here.
Starting point is 00:41:55 Raimundo has muscles and can lift weights. I'll take it. That's probably yours. Lunchbox has a deep voice. Yeah, I do. And ladies love the deep voice. Let me tell you. It just got deeper. That's how I talk, man. I can't help it. Eddie can grill. Yes. Pretty griller. And I think I have the best survival skills. Like if I need to clean an animal or shoot an animal, I probably win that competition. Okay. Other than that, I'm pretty limited. I only have the things that I learned up until about 18. I don't really develop anymore.
Starting point is 00:42:25 I don't know anything about cars. Who could fix a car? Me. You? Yeah. But like what part? Yeah, that's the part. Any part?
Starting point is 00:42:33 I don't mess with engines. I don't mess with brakes. That's not any part. It's the opposite of any part. Okay, maybe not everything. Hey, before we get to the joke, are we getting later on in the show, Can we get an update on how much money you've raised on Venmo? Sure.
Starting point is 00:42:46 Okay. I'll have my Venmo pulled up. Remember Eddie wrote on the back of his Jeep, A, just got married, Venmo for honeymoon fund. Yeah. Just to see how much he did. I couldn't fit all that on there, but for the most part, I think it makes sense.
Starting point is 00:42:55 And how long is he going to keep it up? Well, he's going on Wednesday to Wednesday. So he's got two more days of this. But we'll get an update coming up. You got it. All right. Let's go now and do the morning corny. The morning corny.
Starting point is 00:43:07 Why was the cow such a heartthrob on the farm? Why was the cow such a heartthrob on the farm? He was a smooth. Talker. I mean, you tried. I didn't try. I did it. You tried.
Starting point is 00:43:20 Bobby Chorhauer should have been done. A smooth. Well, you gotta get the moo better. Smooth. Oh, yeah, that's a mooster. See? You did deeper. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:43:31 Like a moose. So manly. Yeah. Okay. All right, thank you. That was the morning corny. On the phone, Kelly and W. Miami. Kelly, what's going on with you, man?
Starting point is 00:43:47 Good morning, studio. Morning, man. Yeah, so we went in favor to do that. So my question, Bobby, was, you know, I first started watching you, seeing you on American Idol, and then I progressed to you, bare grills. And anyway, our local radio station just barely picked up you guys a morning show about five months ago. But through all the times I've seen you, I've never heard you talk much about your dad. And so I was curious if you knew him where he was at.
Starting point is 00:44:14 And if you don't, would you allow him into your life? My biological father left when I was about five or six years old. And so I did not know him until, I mean, I guess I didn't meet him again until 2017 or 2018 around then. And that was the, I mean, I didn't know him until I was in my, you know, mid-30s. And I met him and, you know, we had a pretty pleasant conversation. He's in my sister's life. But no, we don't really talk.
Starting point is 00:44:44 on the regular occasionally we'll exchange a text message. I have a stepdad that kind of served as my dad for a long time. I mean, heck, he's not even my stepdad anymore, but who comes on the air sometimes Arkansas Keith. But, you know, a lot of my life, I was just really angry at my real dad.
Starting point is 00:45:00 No, I'm not so angry. You know, I'm a little upset that I didn't have a dad influence until I became a teenager with Arkansas Keith. But I think if anything, it taught me how I don't want to be when I finally have kids. I think that's probably, you know, why I was, and still I'm a bit scared to have kids because I don't want to be like my biological father was.
Starting point is 00:45:20 But he also was a guy who just made a couple mistakes. And like when I was able to talk to him, like I finally understood, I mean, I didn't agree, but I kind of understood where he was coming from. He had a lot of struggle in his life. My mom had me when she was 15. He had me when, you know, he was 17. And when you're a dumb kid, you do dumb kid things. So he is not in my life. But to be fair, we have seen each other a couple times and it was just fine.
Starting point is 00:45:44 Well, that's pretty cool You know For not being raised by that You've done really well for yourself Really well And my dad was gone when I was young Had a stepdad that wasn't that cool And I thought it taught me
Starting point is 00:45:56 A better way to raise my kids And I got six seven They're all great Well, I appreciate that call Thank you very much You know, for me it's I didn't really have a great father influence And I wonder if I can be one myself
Starting point is 00:46:05 But you know It hasn't really stopped me from trying Other things I've You know, not seen done before So eventually, hopefully I'll be in that position. All right? appreciate that call.
Starting point is 00:46:14 Yeah, thanks for listening, Kelly. You're good. Hey, you bet you. I enjoy you guys every morning for about an hour and a half on my way to work. Long drive to work. What the heck are you doing? Why are you working so far away? Oh, it's the only underground coal mine in southwest Wyoming,
Starting point is 00:46:27 and that's how far away is from the nearest town I want to live in. So I got about another year and a half and I retire, so I'm golden. Wow. Are you looking forward to retirement? Oh, buddy. Yeah. I was talking to my friend. Every day, two days closer.
Starting point is 00:46:40 Yeah, I was talking about friend Scotty. I was in Arkansas last weekend and he was like, man, and he knew he's like, only got 19 years, 27 days until I retire. And he gave me some number like that and I was like, how do you know that? He goes, I can't wait to retire. And he was like, you? I was like, I don't even think about it. I don't want to retire. Like, I'm good.
Starting point is 00:46:57 Yeah, you probably won't. And I was like, I probably could right now if I really wanted to. And he was like, why don't you? And I was like, that doesn't drive me at all. And he was like, I just can't wait to do nothing. That's pretty cool. Yeah. Is he, you think that's pretty cool? Yes. You would retire? I can't wait to do nothing. I would do something, but not work. Oh, I would fish play golf all day.
Starting point is 00:47:16 Yeah? Yes. Well, hey, Kelly, appreciate you. Thanks for listening. Thank you. See you guys. All right. See you later.
Starting point is 00:47:23 It used to be the coolest. Once a year, church would take us all to Habachi. And my mind was blown. When I watched that guy, flipped that thing, and I'd be catching your pocket, or you make the onion tower, or I do the egg, blown. And I haven't really been to Habachi since I was a kid.
Starting point is 00:47:39 And Eddie said he took his kids to Habachi? Very underwhelming. man I'm like you bones it was a special occasion growing up if we got great good grades my dad would be like I'm taking you to Hibachi birthdays and I went this this past couple days ago and man they don't do any tricks but is it because COVID though? I don't know
Starting point is 00:47:58 the first thing came in my mind I'm like oh some Karen came in here and just complained about a shrimp hitting them in the face or something but the only thing they did was the onion volcano and I was I bones I pumped it up to all my kids I'm like guys You're going to love this. This is going to be the greatest night of your life. All they did was the onion volcano. No egg tricks.
Starting point is 00:48:16 No throwing knives. No shrimp tails in the hat. No, man, shrimp tails in the hat was awesome. I was so bummed. Yeah, that stinks. I wonder if they're just not training them to do that anymore. You know, I was talking to Scoop with Steve about this, and he thinks maybe some of these plays had to cut employees.
Starting point is 00:48:32 So maybe the people that were just doing dishes are now cooking and they don't know any of the tricks. Not a bad theory. Man, Havachi was awesome. Here's the part that hurt with Havachi. is they give you all that rice first. I'd be full of rice before I ever got the meat. Yeah. Totally. They make all the rice good. They push it over and I'm just eating all the and I'm stuffed. And they're like, all right, here comes the beef and I got no room left. They still do that. They do? Yes. Like I had fun watching all the tricks, but I'm full of rice, bro.
Starting point is 00:48:57 We did a story speaking of food where it was a tell me something good last Tuesday about a guy who went and ate at Chick-fil-A in Bakersfield for 153 days in a row, minus Sundays because Chick-fil-A's not open on Sundays. And he raised money for charity doing it. So now Lunchbox wants to make it his personal mission to to beat the guy's record. Oh, cool. Which I think is interesting too. I thought. Yes. Obviously, 153 days, it's a long time. So it's going to be a
Starting point is 00:49:22 long process, but I can go to Chick-fil-A 154 days in a row minus Sundays and set the record. Now, do we know if this guy stopped though? Because he may just be 153 days ahead of you. Oh. I don't know if he quit or not. I have no idea. And I don't know how they keep track of that they make sure he went.
Starting point is 00:49:41 Receipts? Honor system? In that case, I've already done 152. But I mean, a receipt would do that. So lunchbox went through day one just to get the ball rolling on his world record attempt. How's going? Pretty good. What's the name on the order?
Starting point is 00:49:55 Jason? Jason, how can I help you? Yeah, I saw on the Bobby Bone show that some guy ate Chick-fil-A 153 days in a row to set a record. So this is my day one. I want to beat it. Nice. Yeah. So I'm doing number three with a water.
Starting point is 00:50:08 Number three meal with a cup of water or bottled water? Just a cup of water's fine. Okay. Anything else today? No, that'll do it. Thank you so much. My pleasure. I'm going to set a record.
Starting point is 00:50:17 Absolutely. We'll wait before you. All right. Here's the wrinkle, though. Yeah. Because there's always a wrinkle with this guy. There's always an angle. He wants the company to pay for his meals each day so he no longer has to raise it.
Starting point is 00:50:28 Here we go. So he knows because it's a bit. Yeah. It's for charity. It's for work. And it gets expensive. When you go to Chick-filet 154 days in a row, guys. I mean, we're talking $10, $10 a $10 a
Starting point is 00:50:38 trip. That's a lot of money if you can do the math in your head. Well, you could go and get a drink or a fruit cup. Does that count? Do you have to order a whole meal? Yeah, I think you had to get a meal. And so that's- But don't we think he just did this to get a free meal? Absolutely. But also, could we one up the guy by lunchbox ordering two meals on a Saturday and then eating one of them on Sunday and he gets ahead? How much did your meal cost yesterday? I was like $9 or something like that. Okay, $9 times 154. It's going to cost you about $1,400. That's what I'm saying. No, no, not me. It's not going to cost me. It's the company.
Starting point is 00:51:12 Company. The company's not going to pay $1,400 for you to eat. No, no, this is for the company. You know how much press the company is going to get when we break the record? One millisecond of press on one day. And it's going to be us talking about it. And that's a lot of press. Scooby, Steve, any chance the company gives them a credit card for this? I don't think. I have to get to buy a pen. I have to get approval. I think they're going to give me money to feed you to Bobby's point. No, no, it's a work. Well, you eat lunch every single day anyway, so just eat there and use your money elsewhere. But sometimes I eat my lunch at home because it costs so much money.
Starting point is 00:51:44 You guys, if we are going to set this record, we have to get the call. Okay, not setting the record. What's your charity? Who cares about charity? I'm not doing it for charity. I'm doing it for the recognition. Yeah, yeah. Okay.
Starting point is 00:51:56 I'm going to pass on this. You got one, one in a row. So we're not doing it? I don't think so. Not if the company's got to pay for it. I don't think the bit's worth $1,500. But if lunchbox wants to do it, he can do it. Oh, yeah, have that at it. How long can you do it?
Starting point is 00:52:10 You should set that record for yourself. Yeah, if you really want the fame. It's true. I'm sure the news will pick that up. How did this guy get in the news? That's what I'm saying. Why did the news cover him? If fundraiser, like there's lots of good attached to it.
Starting point is 00:52:23 So annoying. You guys never want to do anything. We just played it on the air. We just don't want to pay for you to eat free lunch every day. I got a bit about dinner. Yeah. What is it? Well, I have a bit about shopping.
Starting point is 00:52:36 Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. If you go to dinner with someone, I said there are four people and you're going to split the bill, do you just go, here's four credit cards, split it evenly? I mean, typically, if it's pretty obvious that we all enjoyed, like, the same amount, like drinks, food, dessert, whatever, if it seems that way. But if not, if I know that I had, you know, multiple things that were for me, like a drink here and I ordered something specific, I will offer to pay more. Would you ever, though, demand to pay less?
Starting point is 00:53:07 Yes. You would. It would be awkward, but if you truly just did have a little bit, then you have every right to be like, whoa, why am I paying for everything you had? I mean, you can do it in a nice way, but that's... I'll read you the story. This woman refused to split the bill at a friend's birthday dinner because she wasn't drinking alcohol. Oh, yeah. See, that's hard.
Starting point is 00:53:24 And it sparked a whole debate between the group. She said the cost of the food and the drink was about $26. She goes, but everybody the next day was split. it up and said, oh, $55. She's like, I didn't buy any alcohol. You guys are out of your mind. And so is the understood rule that if you go and you split, you just split. Because I don't drink.
Starting point is 00:53:44 And this happens to me all the time. You know, I just split. I just go, you know, I know what I'm getting into before I go. They're going to order drinks. I don't want to be the guy to go, okay, well, carry the one, minus three. And I know that going into the situation, but it is unfortunate for me. Because I don't drink at all. And people are ordering $9 drinks and a couple of them.
Starting point is 00:54:04 And I'm out the money. But I definitely think she has a reason to go, hey, I don't think I need to pay $55. Yeah. I think $26 is where it is for me. It's just tough when you get that receipt and you start jotting down all the prices. And then the math just gets complicated at that point, right? What would you do in this situation, Amy? What would you do?
Starting point is 00:54:23 Oh, I'm just paying for it. Me too. I am. It ain't right, but I'm paying for it too because I'm not trying to deal with the hassle. I don't hate her, though. Not at all, because you might need to, but you still want to be a part of the celebration and you want to be with your friends and, you know, hang out, but you may not, like, you don't drink.
Starting point is 00:54:39 So why would you have to pay for everybody else's alcohol? Mike just said this happened at my bachelor dinner. Totally. Everybody split equally, even the guys who didn't drink. I was just about to say that. And there were some guys there that ordered specialty drinks. Like the, oh, was this an issue? I'll take aged bourbon or whatever.
Starting point is 00:54:55 Like, wow, that's like $20 a drink. Oh, dang. Yeah. I remember that, Bones. Were you fired up? No. I just swallowed it. Well, you were fired up on the inside.
Starting point is 00:55:02 It was burning you. Well, I noticed it on the inside. You know, it's one of the things are like, oh, boy, we're all splitting this. And I even split my meal with someone else, so I didn't even have a full steak that night. Did you know going into it, though? That would be the case?
Starting point is 00:55:14 Of course. You always... Then why don't you order more drinks? Then why would you split a steak with someone if you know... Man, if you know everybody's going to pay for it, you buy the most expensive thing on the menu. Well, it still cost you money, just not as much as. Yeah, but then if everybody does that, that's trouble.
Starting point is 00:55:27 Uh-huh. So do we feel like she's in the right? Just a universal yes or no. Is she in the right for going, I'm not paying that? One, two, three? Yes. You say no, Eddie? No, I mean, she can't, just split it.
Starting point is 00:55:38 Just split it, guys. Don't make drama out of it. I don't think it has to be dramatic, but if you can't pay for it. When someone comes out and says, I'm not paying $55, that's dramatic. Well, you're assuming they say it in that tone. That's a mean voice. I don't like that. Yeah, what if it's more so like, oh, hey, guys, like, I'm actually able to pay for this amount,
Starting point is 00:55:56 and I didn't have alcohol. Hopefully, that's cool. Then everybody else has got it thrown like four more bucks. Yeah. But they should because they're the ones that drink. I agree. The Bobby Bone Show is proud to be supported by Grand Canyon University, an affordable, private, non-profit Christian University based in beautiful Phoenix, Arizona.

Starting point is 00:59:30 It's time for the good news. With producer Eddie. Yeah, I'll make something good. Joanne from Connecticut, she works at an elderly housing facility, and she was going to a wedding in Virginia for the weekend. So she has a dog named Indy. So I'm going to take my dog and leave it with my parents for the weekend, and I'm going to go to the wedding. Well, somewhere on Sunday morning, the dad's like, let me put Indy in the backyard.
Starting point is 00:59:54 Indy got out. Indy's missing. Well, people at the housing facility call Joanne. They're like, I think your dog Indy is here at the housing facility. Well, it turns out Indy ran two miles to go to work because she thought Joanne was at work. That's crazy. That's crazy. That's crazy.
Starting point is 01:00:10 But now the housing facility has named Indy, the employee of the month, for sprinting two miles to show up to work on Sunday. That's good. Here's what I like about that. The Indy's safe. Here's what I don't like about that. The person who really deserve employee of the month didn't get it because the dog got out of the backyard. I think they're okay with it. You got to get those apple tags and put on your animals.
Starting point is 01:00:29 Yeah, you've been talking about that. That way you can always track them from your phone. All right, that's a good one. That's what it's all about. That was Tell Me Something Good. We spent a few days conducting this experiment where Eddie's been driving around his Jeep. What did you ride on the back of your Jeep? Just married Venmo me and then my Venmo, but there's a little palm tree there to show kind of like my honeymoon.
Starting point is 01:00:50 It was just too small to write all that stuff. So that's all it wrote. I wrote. We see people driving around all the time going, hey, have a birthday. Here's my Venmo. Hey, just got married. Here's my Venmo. We wondered if anyone was actually sending people money. And what Venmo is, it's just an app where you can, it's like PayPal. It's just like anything else. But you can send money. Yeah. Easy. How much money have you raised since last Wednesday? Yeah, Wednesday, Thursday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Monday, Monday, five days, and I've raised $0. Oh, nothing. Wow. Wow.
Starting point is 01:01:23 Absolutely nothing, and I check it every single day. And I'm thinking, Bones, I'm going to ask you right now officially, can I, we end this experiment? Because one, it's embarrassing that I have this written in the back of my Jeep and no one is paying me any money. And I think it's because a couple of reasons. One, I look like I'm 50. I don't think anyone's buying the fact that I just got married, right? You can be in duly wedded. But sometimes I don't see the people in the car.
Starting point is 01:01:48 I just see them right down in the back of their vehicle. I've seen people speed up to me, look at me, and then drive off. Okay. And then the second reason, I just feel like they're not buying the story. Like, I have a Jeep. Okay, can I make a suggestion? Change the story. New baby. Neat-venmo me. But again, 50-year-old new baby, I don't feel bad for you, dude.
Starting point is 01:02:09 You got four kids and one of them is pretty new. So I'm thinking the homeless approach, you know, of like being honest. Bad week, need a couple beers, Venmo me. That's funny. Then it's like, all right, I don't feel bad for this guy. It's funny. I'll Venmo him some money. Do that one for a couple of days.
Starting point is 01:02:25 Okay. Bad week, need some beers. Venmo me. Been a rough week. Buy me a beer. Venmo. One that makes me laugh that I've seen before is need fuel for my jet. But he's in a truck.
Starting point is 01:02:40 That makes no sense. Do the one that says, been a bad week, could use a couple beers. Venmo me. Okay. All right. Let me see if I can fit that in my window. Bad week, exclamation. Need beer.
Starting point is 01:02:55 Benmo. Okay. There you go. Bobby's Big. Stories. Most of us pack on a few extra pounds in our 30s and 40s. And as always, we blame metabolism because everyone knows it slows you down as you age. But you might not be able to use that excuse anymore.
Starting point is 01:03:13 A new study came out Friday that found your metabolism doesn't actually slow down as much as you think it does. Researchers found it peaks when we're babies. around age one, then it gradually slows down until we're about 20, but from 20 to 60, it's pretty consistent. So if you get a bunch of weight in your 40s or 50s, other factors are at play, like eating more or being less active.
Starting point is 01:03:36 But they say you cannot blame your metabolism, which is the easy thing to blame. Yeah, I'm just getting all the body's not... Nope, your body's not moving as much, apparently. So metabolism is not to blame. A new U.S. You gov poll finds Sunday scaries are real. It's the feeling of anxiety people get before they have to go to work on Monday.
Starting point is 01:03:58 Do you guys get the Sunday scaries? No. Eddie, do you? No, no chance. Why would I? Sunday afternoon, you're like, I gotta go back to work tomorrow. Nah. I definitely don't.
Starting point is 01:04:09 The only thing I don't like about this job is waking up early. You know, I think I've probably aged an extra 20 years because of it. Just waking up early all the time my whole life. But 14% of Americans who, have work or school obligations admit to experiencing significant Sunday scurries every week. Another 15% so they get them most weeks, 9% so they get them about once a month. Sunday scaries as they go Gen X a little more, baby boomers even more. Don't you get that with your calendar, like when you have a lot of stuff?
Starting point is 01:04:42 I kind of get anxiety about being able to pull a whole day's off on time. Like I definitely have outs if I'm in the middle of something, but my count's, Islander's doesn't need to be out by this minute. I go, guys, this is my out? I got to go, and I walk out. But everybody kind of knows that I've got things packed pretty tight. Yeah, but that kind of stinks when I have to do that. Finally, the property known as Bella Lucie is listed for $14 million.
Starting point is 01:05:08 That's Kenny Chesney's home in Franklin, Tennessee. Nice. The Mediterranean Villa on 56 acres is the most expensive listing in Franklin. This is from realtor.com. The hilltop home was a spec build when Chesney purchased it for $9.25 million in 2009. You'll find 12,000 square feet of living space, multiple outdoor entertaining areas, 150-year-old reclaimed walnut floors. It goes on and on.
Starting point is 01:05:37 The home features four bedrooms, seven bathrooms and two half-baths. That's not many bathrooms. Four bedrooms. But that just seems like a lot for only four bedrooms. Yeah, those are just the bedrooms. There's probably game rooms. No, no, I get that. But the home, which is 12,000 square feet, only four bedrooms, that's wild.
Starting point is 01:05:57 Maybe they're big. Like the first house that I bought that was like 1,200 square feet. My first home, 1,100 square feet, had three bedrooms in it. There have to be other bedrooms like a guest house or something on this property. Probably. Four bedrooms, seven bathrooms, two and a half baths. The gated property features a long driveway and motor court. The home is listed by Lisa F. Wilson and Long.
Starting point is 01:06:19 or a putty stroud. I mean, it's crazy looking. It's nice. It's like when you fly over a neighborhood in an airplane and you look down and you see one house surrounded by trees and you're like, I wonder who lives there because that's massive. Or you wonder if it's some sort of venue or some sort of business that look, but it's Kenny Chesney's house. Probably.
Starting point is 01:06:39 That's crazy. And that's the news. Thank you. Over the weekend, I'd mention my girls. goal was to get Breaking Bobby Bones trending on Disney Plus because they have the top 10 shows that are trending. And I said, I give away all the money in my wallet, which is $42. And so I have the top 10 trending shows from Disney Plus. Number one, it's Bluey. It's some cartoon dog.
Starting point is 01:07:03 Bluey? Never heard of that. Anybody know how Bluey is? Yeah, my son watch that all the time. It's an Australian cartoon that kids, as adults, I love it. Oh. It's made for how old a kid? I would say, like, toddlers between two to like three or four. It dominates Disney Plus. It should. It's awesome.
Starting point is 01:07:20 It's my enemy. I think you'd like it if you watched it. Mickey Mouse Clubhouse comes in. Okay. Jesse. Mickey Mouse. Monsters at work. The animated Marvel What If?
Starting point is 01:07:33 The Wonderful World of Mickey Mouse. Phineas and Furb. The Simpsons. What number are we on? My point is, I have no chance. It's all tiny kids cartoons. Well, Mickey's taking five of those spots, man. Mickey rocks.
Starting point is 01:07:48 He's dominating. One, two, four of those are Mickey Mouse shows. Wow. So it didn't happen this weekend. Breaking Bobby Bones did not trend on Disney Plus. I just couldn't move. That bluey didn't move from the number one spot.
Starting point is 01:08:02 A lot of competition there. So I watched it myself. But they're not real people, so there's that. Yeah, it's... Jesse's a real person. I don't even know what Jesse is. I think it's like an old, like, Disney Channel show. It is a Disney Channel.
Starting point is 01:08:13 Hannah Montana still trends. Oh. Okay, sorry, dude. Anyway, I'm up there on Disney. Plus, I guess I'm never going to trend. I can't fight the kids on that platform. But all 16 episodes are up right now on Disney Plus of Breaking Bobby Bones.
Starting point is 01:08:29 Another Taylor Swift fan was busted trying to break into her New York apartment. According to TMZ, 28-year-old Patrick Nissen was arrested. Right at her Tribeca apartment building after traveling from out of town, trying to meet her. Nissen, who told the cops he was in love with Taylor, reportedly got in the building through an unlocked door,
Starting point is 01:08:48 but a security officer saw him and called 911. He was charged with second-degree criminal trespassing, which is a misdemeanor. Man, if you're Taylor, you have to have a full on all the time security team. Like guarding every perimeter, almost presidential like. That's not fun. Like, that can't be fun just having all those people around. I think I'm not like it.
Starting point is 01:09:10 No way. Feels pretty safe. But they caught this knucklehead. There's another story. if some of you may not know Blink 182. Here is a clip of all the small things. The drummer of this band, his name is Travis Barker. Here's another song for you.
Starting point is 01:09:31 What's My Age Again? And Travis Barker's kind of had a comeback in his career because he's producing all these records. He's dating Courtney Kardashian. But he was in a plane crash in 2008. And the plane crash killed. killed some people in the plane, killed some of his friends. And so he's like, I'm never flying again. I'm done.
Starting point is 01:09:53 You know what, I get it. I wouldn't want to fly again either. Back in 2008, Barker was in a plane leaving South Carolina. It caught fire. It killed two pilots as well as Travis Barker's assistant and security guard. Barker and DJ AM survived with severe burns. But he had said, I'm not doing it. But he did fly over the weekend. He flew with Courtney Kardashian out to some island. But that's a big step to not fly since 2008.
Starting point is 01:10:18 to get back on a plane after a crash like that, like good for him. I'm sure the guy had been through a ton of therapy, probably had people on the plane with him. I don't like flying. I never even been in a plane crash. I hate flying. I fly all the time.
Starting point is 01:10:33 And I get up and we hit a bump. And Caitlin, who is like five foot six or seven tiny, she'll grab me and be like, it's okay. One time, no, we hit a bump so bad I saw I start praying. I said, you're praying. Why are you praying? She was like, No, she goes, I'm praying for you.
Starting point is 01:10:51 She goes, what I picture is God's hands carrying the plane and laying us down. There you go. But I caught her praying, and I called her on it. I said, why are you praying if you're not scared? And she said, I'm praying for you, for you to have patience to land, for you to feel comfortable. I don't like that. I don't like bumps. I just, for me, for something that big and metal to be up in the air just does not seem natural.
Starting point is 01:11:14 And I was talking to her about it. I said, how can I just not? I'm never comfortable with thousands of pounds in the air. I know why I understand why it's able to. And there are almost never plane crashes, especially compared to car crashes. And her theory was I never flew as a kid. We didn't fly anywhere.
Starting point is 01:11:33 We couldn't fly any. We couldn't afford that. But I didn't fly until 20s, really. And so what was normal for a lot of kids to grow up flying a time or two, for me, I was just an adult going, well, this don't seem right. And it's never quite seemed right. And I fly every week, mostly.
Starting point is 01:11:50 Sometimes way more than that. I hate it. I also hate all heights and together. Good for Travis Barker. That is a heck of a story right there. That's that guy getting over something. I'm proud to see it. Let's grab some calls.
Starting point is 01:12:06 We appreciate that you guys are sitting here on hold. Carrie in Oklahoma is on the phone. Carrie, what's going on? Hey, Bobby. I am calling back about my dancing competition that you gave me some advice for a few weeks ago. I love that. We can now actually push a button
Starting point is 01:12:22 and it shows us that it's an update from a caller. This is the first time we've ever done this. Here we go, let's go. Bobby Bones Show, caller update. All right, Carrie, what's the update? Okay, so we had our competition on Saturday and the dancers total raised $437,000-ish for the Children's Hospital Foundation.
Starting point is 01:12:44 And I ended up coming in as the first runner up, aka second place. with $49,000 raise. Come on with it. Great job, great job. How was your dancing? How did you feel out there? Oh my gosh, it was so much fun.
Starting point is 01:12:58 When it was over, I'm like, can we go again? I want to do it again. Well, good for you. I never felt that way. When I danced on the TV show, I never felt it was fun, and then I never wanted to do it again. We would finish, my partner and God love her, she's a perfectionist, we would walk off from doing that TV show
Starting point is 01:13:14 and she would get her phone out and go, all right, let's watch it back. Oh, wow. And I'm like, we just danced on TV. need a break. And she was like, well, we got to get better for next week. Let's watch it again. I can't do any better. But that is great, Carrie. Congratulations to you and you raised a lot of money and heck, that's awesome. Thank you very much. I did have a quick question for you. Go ahead. We are going to be doing this again, August 13th of 2022. And I was wondering if you'd like an invitation. I mean, you can invite me. I don't know what I'll be doing, but I'm happy to get the
Starting point is 01:13:44 invitation. Yeah, send it on up. Okay. All right. Thank you so much. All right. See you later. Kristen, who is in North Carolina. Thank you for calling the show. Kristen, what's happening? Hi, this actually goes back for a few shows ago. I'm traveling with my... Hold on. Update again. Let's go.
Starting point is 01:14:03 What? Bobby Bone Show. There's one for the show. This is a show update. Okay, go ahead. Okay. Yeah. Bobby Bone Show. Update.
Starting point is 01:14:11 All right, Kristen, you're on. We have all these new buttons, Kristen. Bear with us. Go ahead, Kristen. I don't know what this happened. Okay. I'm traveling with my daughter. Taylor from Florida, North Carolina, and dropping my son off.
Starting point is 01:14:22 And we had a little debate this morning regarding the snooze on the alarm. And it reminded me of Amy. So therefore, I'm calling to see how Amy is doing with that task, if she's still on it or not, because I think snoozing is horrible. And I run laps around her when she snoozes every time trying to get her out of bed. So Amy had snoozed her whole life. And I said, Amy, don't snooze. You're going to have to get up anyway.
Starting point is 01:14:44 So when it hits, jump out of bed. you have that much more of your day to go and you're going to have to feel miserable at some point in the morning anyway waking up. So Amy said, okay, I'm going to do it for what 30 days? Yeah, I think, well, I think we just started off with maybe like a week or two. And now?
Starting point is 01:14:57 And I had an accountability partner, one of our listeners, and I did it and I have not gone back. I am no longer a snoozer, which is crazy because, yes, I have snooze the majority of my life. Like I used to set my alarm earlier so that I could snooze, which didn't make sense. Made no sense. It drives me crazy.
Starting point is 01:15:15 But I convinced myself that it felt really good and I needed to snooze. But now that I'm on the other side of it, I realized that was a huge waste of time and I actually get more rest if I just don't do that. And how long have you unsnoosed? Oh my gosh. Has it been a couple years?
Starting point is 01:15:28 About two years. Yeah. So, yeah, I'm here for it. Hey, this show, Kristen, I hate to brag, but I whipped them into shape. Everybody's on time. This is true. People ain't snoozing.
Starting point is 01:15:39 You know, I come in, I put my feet up. They rub my feet when I get here. That's not true. Oh, that's not true. That's my next thing, though. Come in for a foot rub. Now, Kristen, they've been doing great. you are right about that. So we're the no snooze crew.
Starting point is 01:15:50 All right. Good job, Amy. Thank you. Hey, you're dropping your kid off at school, like college? Yeah, it's my last one. You sad? You emotional? Yes. You know, I'm just excited for a new chapter for him. So it's a new state, a new chapter, and he's ready for it. Is he in there with you right now? No, he's at school. He's in his dorm room getting into life.
Starting point is 01:16:12 Oh, you dropped him off. Did you cry? Oh, I cry every day. No. And where... He's a good kid. Where is he in school in North Carolina? Greensboro. Well, that's awesome.
Starting point is 01:16:26 Your last kid is out. So what do they call that? You're empty nesters now? I'm empty nesting, yes. Yes, we're empty nesters. Is that going to be weird for you? You know what? Not really.
Starting point is 01:16:37 My daughter still works around the area with me, so we're together a lot. And we spend a lot of time together and we enjoy each other's company. So he'll be weird without the youngest one there because he's just the one that kind of glues the family together, but it'll be good. Well, congratulations on another kid, another kid going and being productive, at least trying to figure it out. That's pretty cool. Yes, it's really, really cool.
Starting point is 01:16:58 Yes, I appreciate that. Thank you. All right, well, thank you for listening to the show. Hopefully we'll talk to you again soon. Okay, thanks. Bye-bye. All right, back in a second. We'll do What's the Haps.
Starting point is 01:17:08 Something that happened to me this weekend is, I understand I'm getting older. I don't fight it. I don't do anything. Like, I don't, physically, I just try to stay in shape. I'm not, you know, doing anything to my body. But I'm feeling, and something happened to me on my Thursday or Friday night, where I went, yeah, this is next level old. I know. And I just felt it, and it was a realization.

Starting point is 01:20:59 That's get sunday.com. We can check in with a segment we call What's the Haps? Hey! Hey! What's the Haps? I'll go first. I went to two concerts. I never go to concerts. So I went to two. Eddie and I went to watch the Count and Crows. Yes. And they didn't go on until nine. And Eddie said, I'll be at your house at eight. And about 7.15, I text Eddie. And I was like, how do we ever go to the club? Because we used to. Don't get it twisted.
Starting point is 01:21:27 Yeah, we wouldn't even, like, leave the house to 11.30 to 12. Back in the day. And it was 7.30. I was already tired. And so he gets to the house at eight. We drive down to watch the Count of Crows, who I love. I tried to get Caitlin to go. And she was like, I don't know them. Yeah. She was like, I don't, what's that? It's old people music. That's what she said. And last night I was sitting with her, and I said, let me play some County Crow songs
Starting point is 01:21:51 see if you know them. And so this is Mr. Jones from the County Crows. And she was like, oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, right? No. No? She didn't know that one. Nothing. And then I said, let me play around here, as if she knows this one.
Starting point is 01:22:09 And then she said, why do you always like whiny men who sing? Okay. And I was like, well, that's a good point. He is kind of whiny. Yeah. I love a good whiny man. I like R.E.M. singing slow song.
Starting point is 01:22:19 I do. I love a whiny man singing me a winy song. And then I said, how about this one here? And I played this one for her. She goes, that one's from Shrek. I was like, yeah, that's right. That's the one she knows. They wrote up for the opening scene in Shrek.
Starting point is 01:22:35 She was like, oh, yeah, I know that one. And so Eddie and I went and, heck, he sounded good. He's 57 now. Oh, that's awesome. Yeah, didn't he sound good. You sounded really good. But, you know, we sang. I haven't sang at a concert in a long time.
Starting point is 01:22:49 We sing loud, and a song would come on. We both know we'd look at each other and be like, yeah. Then we'd sing and it's good. We left during the encore because we wanted to beat traffic. This is how we're getting older too. That's definitely an old person thing to do. Did he play good ones in the encore? Who cares?
Starting point is 01:23:06 We weren't there. We heard them walking away. So you still got to enjoy it. Hey, we got to beat that traffic. Yeah. But it was a really good show. Yeah. It was better than I thought it would be.
Starting point is 01:23:18 And I love counting crows. There's, you know, from being a kid, I mean, they were out in like 93, 94 to begin with. And I loved them. County Crows, hooty. Like, in that genre, like, they touch my soul. So we had a good time. You have a good time? I had a blast.
Starting point is 01:23:35 And we felt comfortable with it. We looked around. And then we went, hmm. What was the vibe there? What do you think it was? A lot of people who also went, sure is old. It's late here. At some point they should just realize the audience and start things way earlier.
Starting point is 01:23:50 Well, work. You can't. You got two opening acts. True. People have to work. Bones, did you hear the lady behind us? Sit down. Because they all wanted to sit, you know, and then we were standing up because we were fairly close to the front. And we were standing up and rocking the whole time. And then I heard a lady say, sit down. I was going to be like, oh, man, come on.
Starting point is 01:24:06 Let's not give up on life. I also wish people would have sat down if I'm being honest. You were probably the one yelling at the day. You all stood the whole time? Yeah. 95% of the time. But I knew every song. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:24:18 And so even the new stuff. So nostalgic. Yeah, it's great. And then the next night, Caitlin and I went to watch Dan and Shea. And so they're really good. I mean, live. Younger crowd. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:24:30 Totally different vibe. It was like the kids of the people that were at the other show. But it was packed. It was out in this huge field. It was the first time they'd ever use this space in Nashville to have a concert. Dan was in a sleeveless shirt. and just look jacked. And I texted him the next day, and I was like, dude, he goes, all I do is ride my bike.
Starting point is 01:24:51 And I was like, well, if biking, cycling does that, I don't either be on my bike more. You doesn't have to do biceps? I guess not. But they sounded great. We had a wonderful time. And they're just, they're just so good. They, I believe this is true. They are the first country artist group, if I'm right on this, ever in the history of country music, for their record to go gold the first day it's out.
Starting point is 01:25:14 Oh, wow. That's really cool. That happened to them. Dang. In the streaming era, period, they are the first artist to have a record go gold the first day that it exists. And what is gold? Half a million maybe.
Starting point is 01:25:25 Mike, we look that out for me? The duo really good country, glad to exist. 500, yeah, 500,000. Complete units. Wow. So they're just killing it. And I often say it is the snootiness of, you know, the industry of country music that doesn't.
Starting point is 01:25:44 allows someone like them to actually get the recognition they deserve. But the same thing happened to a lot of the great artists from back in the day. You know, you could, I mean, heck, you can talk to Garth. And Garth said he wasn't welcome. People told him he was, you know, bad for country music. But that's what happens. But it was really fun, which was a great show and had a good time. So that's my What's the Haps.
Starting point is 01:26:02 Hey! Hey! What's the Hats? Amy. Well, my weekend is very different than yours. No concerts at all, very low-key. But we did take time to celebrate my son's birthday. a few days late after his birthday and got him like this awesome Spider-Man cake.
Starting point is 01:26:19 And I am the mom that was like, you need a picture with your cake. You need a picture with your cake. So I made him hold the cake and take a picture in about two seconds after we got the picture of the cake fell to the ground. And it was devastating because what were we going to do? But my daughter, she's like, look, the top part of the cake is fine. So she went and got forks. And we just sat around the cake and got some bluebell ice cream.
Starting point is 01:26:42 and we ate on the patio floor, literally. Didn't the cake go top face down? Yeah, so then the non-icing part, like if you pulled back the plate or the cardboard plate, then it was like totally edible. So the patio just became our big family plate, and we ate from it. And it was actually a really fun memory
Starting point is 01:26:59 and something we were laughing about and we'll never forget. Eddie? So baseball starting back up fall ball. So I got both of my little boys in it. Problem is my seven-year-olds already had a baseball team, but there's no room for my new, my foster son who's moving up.
Starting point is 01:27:14 So they're going to have to play in separate teams now, which is hard for me and my wife because we're going to have to go to different practices, different games, but it's going to be really cool to see them go head to head when they play each other. I cannot wait. Lunch bikes? Well, I realized this weekend how much times have changed because my mom called me on the phone, just regular phone call.
Starting point is 01:27:30 And my three-year-old's like, I want to talk. And he thinks it's everything is FaceTime. So he took the phone and gave my mom a tour of the entire house. Like, do you see my books? Do you see my bed? She can't see anything. And kids think everything. is FaceTime and it's just weird.
Starting point is 01:27:44 That's cute. That is cute. I also don't like to talk on the phone. We don't. We'll talk on FaceTime. Yeah, so I felt that. Although you've got to be careful calling Eddie in the middle of the day.
Starting point is 01:27:53 He'll either be in bed napping or on the toilet. And he won't answer both. Well, I don't want to be rude and not answer it, so. It's rude to answer on the toilet. Yeah, you could wait. It always starts with,
Starting point is 01:28:05 are you on the toilet? Oh, it's disgusting. It is disgusting. All right, thank you guys. That's what's the haps. Hey! Hey! The Hats.
Starting point is 01:28:14 Lobby Bones show. Bone Head. Story of the day. This story comes to us from Key West Florida. Three friends were on vacation, having a good time, and the woman falls asleep. So one guy says, oh, it'd be a good idea. He puts her in a wheelbarrow and starts driving her around the neighborhood. Another guy gets mad.
Starting point is 01:28:33 They start fighting, and one guy bites the other guy's ear off. Oh, dang, well, right for the ear. I guess if you're in a situation where you are locked up and you can't. really get a punch in. I mean, it does make sense to bite what's available. That's what you're supposed to do is bite. That ear, though, will come off. Came off, bit his ear off.
Starting point is 01:28:53 All because he put the woman in a wheelbarrow. The other guy got mad. What do we learn? Don't put baby in a wheelbarrow. That's right. It's a very famous line from a movie. Yes, dirty dancing. If anything, we should know from that.
Starting point is 01:29:01 I think it's a corner, though, in the movie. No, it's Wilbur. It's Wilbur. And they do believe alcohol was involved. I'm Lunchbox. That's your Bonehead Story of the Day. Are you ready for this one? there's a guy who is getting a colonoscopy.
Starting point is 01:29:14 He's 59 years old, and doctors are performing that colonoscopy on him, and they found a small ladybug crawling inside his intestine. No. They found a ladybug inside the man's colon. They were looking for scarring or ulcers or tumors, and they noticed a lot live, by the way. Wow. How did it survive in there?
Starting point is 01:29:36 I don't know. Tell me. Tell me. Yeah, I don't think there's a lot of oxygen in there. I don't know the origin story. how this ladybug found this home. Like a mutated ladybug? How the ladybug got into the man's gut in the first place remains a mystery,
Starting point is 01:29:48 but doctors suspect it may have entered his mouth while sleeping. As to how it managed to survive, they believe that it may have something to do with the preparation for the colonoscopy. The colon must be as empty and as clean as possible for the procedure, which involves no eating, no purging, and so I guess swallow... I sleep him. Then there's no.
Starting point is 01:30:12 And so he just goes in and it's just squats in your intestine. There is purging, right? It says, it involves refraining from eating and purging. Oh, okay. I guess I don't know what the purging is referring to there. But yeah, you clean everything out. Except ladybug. That's crazy.
Starting point is 01:30:33 Who then move in and have a place. Y'all done that? Yes. Colonoscopy? No, but I went in for IBS last time. and they said, hey, we can treat you with this medicine or we can go ahead and do a colonoscopy. As I take the medicine, please.
Starting point is 01:30:43 Treat me. Medicine, medicine, medicine, medicine. Well, you're going to have to start doing it. Medicine, medicine, medicine, medicine. That's what's up today. Amy, what's happening today in your life? My daughter has a volleyball game, so excited about that. What about you?
Starting point is 01:30:57 Is it her first game? No, second game. The first game was last week. She's quite tall. Is she good? She's really honestly compared to a lot of the other girls. She's not tall. Really?
Starting point is 01:31:07 She said in for her class, she's very strong. because I look at her and I'm like, oh, look at your long legs. You're such an athlete. And then I see her next to all the athletes. I'm like, oh, my bad. Yeah, what about you? Lacey K. Booth is coming over to do a podcast, but I mentored Lacey on American Idol a couple seasons ago. And my biggest advice was you have to move from Texas to Nashville and you have to do it immediately. And she did. And now she's been here for like a year and a half. And I think now she's going to, like, it's going to be a factor here. She's really good. I haven't seen her in a while. And so it's first time. We're still on today, right? Yeah. Also, there's a great Bobbycast with
Starting point is 01:31:43 Cappy, Luke Combs' manager that's up now, too. So after you finish this show, check out the Bobbycast and enjoy. I'm going to work out this afternoon. That's it. We'll see you guys very soon. And by soon in like 20 hours, like 19 hours. We'll back again and do it again. All right, bye everybody. Have a good day. Let's go. Bobby Bones. The Bobby Bones show.
