A few things we shall address as the show is over, and now we're just kind of hanging out, catching up. We're talking about gonorrhea. Oh, perfect.
Starting point is 00:03:22 Yeah, it's a whole thing. but there's a reason I'm going to bring it up we're talking about that I've got a few things to talk about Morgan number two watching Brooks and Dunn last night which is pretty cool huh Oh it was so awesome Hold it just a tease
Starting point is 00:03:36 We're gonna do it inside of this And then I guess I'll start with this This Abby Anderson story So I love Abby Anderson She's been one of my class of 2019 And so like Abby Anderson has this song here No no Where's her song?
Starting point is 00:03:52 Which one? Oh, right here, good Lord. Did a bobby cast with her. She's a lot of fun. So she's out touring with Rob Thomas from Matchbox 20. And so she posted on Instagram that she was up having tech problem when she was playing. And so they couldn't get the sound working with, she's a full band. And is this the problem?
Starting point is 00:04:16 Or is this the actual clip? Okay. So she's playing and there's mess ups. And then she's like, oh, crap. So she just grabs a guitar real quick and starts to play acoustic while the band's trying to figure out what the problem is. Well, Rob Thomas, it's his big show. It comes out and sees this. And instead of going like, what in the world, he's like,
Starting point is 00:04:36 oh, I'll jump out there with you. So he jumps out on stage before his headlining show, which most people are like, don't go. Headliner can't go out because it kind of ruins. Yeah, the big entrance. Big entrance. And so Rob Thomas hops out and sings Stand By Me with her because they both knew that.
Starting point is 00:04:48 What? Yeah. And everybody knows Stand By Me, right? Come on. Yes. Okay, here they are. One, that's cool. And two, that's super cool of him to be,
Starting point is 00:05:16 like, oh, I got you. I'm going to hop out there. Yes. Need, huh? Yeah. Like, he saw her struggling, helped her out. And you can even hear that there's not a lot of people there yet. Yeah, and the people that really got a treat. Yeah. Totally. The early people got a treat. So I thought that was super cool. If you could sing with anyone, a duet, who would it be? And Mike D put up this clip. I forgot about this. Carrie Underwood and I sang together with a million dollar show. Oh, yeah. In 2050. It's kind of hard to hear, but I remember her coming out. because we wrote this song and she sang it with me on an old record.
Starting point is 00:05:58 And she came out and we had never practiced together. And she started her mouth open to sing. And I've never heard anything like that. And I've, lucky enough, I've been able to perform with a lot of people. We do joke songs and bring people out. And even, like, events for them. Like, I've got to sing with Darius and Garth. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:06:18 But Carrie, when she sang, again, it was like an alien was shooting out of her mouth. Because I'd never seen anything like it before. Or heard. Beautiful sound. It's big. It was a big sound. Who did you sing with Amy? Go.
Starting point is 00:06:31 George Strait. Oh. I've seen this with him. Up from Santon. Oh, wow. Is that good? Great. I go higher.
Starting point is 00:06:42 I go lower. Do the high hormone. It's just what I got. You actually knew where to go, though, which is pretty good. Now go low. I ain't got a dime, but what I got is mine. Wow. rich, but Lord, I'm free.
Starting point is 00:06:56 Not double it, same as him. Amarillo by morning. That's a skill? Amarillo's where I'll be. Amy, you got what it takes. You do. You do. You have the tools.
Starting point is 00:07:09 Call me George. No, no. George. No, no. I'm telling George, call me. Oh. I'll do a duet with you. Lunchbox, anybody?
Starting point is 00:07:18 Oh, one of the greatest of all times, amazing voice. Celine Dion. Really? of all the people. Of all the people. I thought you'd go Tina Turner. Not Tina. She's older now and I don't know she has it anymore.
Starting point is 00:07:29 And so you got to go with someone that can still blow the pipes. Oh, interesting selection. Wherever you are. Can I hit you with a name drop or no? Please. Are you in the mood for one or no? Always. Name drop!
Starting point is 00:07:44 I was with Lionel Richie and he was talking about Tina Turner. And we were sitting having dinner and he was like, that Tina, man. They don't make them like her. They just don't make them like it. Like Tina, when she would get on stage, that wasn't Tina on stage. That was a stage lucky to be with Tina. And because he was talking about...
Starting point is 00:08:05 The way he talks is just perfect. When Lionel Richie starts to tell a story. Yeah, everyone shuts up. Everybody shut. I didn't matter what you're doing. Shout out and pay attention because you had to hear something that's really cool. Oh, that's awesome. And so after I had all sometimes, even during tapings, or this was at a dinner we were all at, and he started talking about Tina Turner because he was talking about Tina Turner.
Starting point is 00:08:21 because he was talking about Aretha, he's talking about some other Patty LaBelle and he'd be talking about doing duets with people
Starting point is 00:08:26 and he'd be like yeah he just, he just don't get up with Tina because she's too good like she's like in Switzerland now doing her own thing
Starting point is 00:08:35 but man that Tina turned and then he moved on to someone else and like he is a legend yeah and it's just like him talking about his peers
Starting point is 00:08:44 and so it's just funny even to watch like Luke just shut up everybody and not in any way like you have to be quiet but you just don't want to miss what he was saying.
Starting point is 00:08:53 Yeah, you want to hear it. I felt like I was in a room I shouldn't be in sometimes because I don't get, I shouldn't be they're listening to Lion Richie like personal cool stories. So, yeah, that was your Tina Turner story. I was thinking about your lunchbox. I was telling that story. So I recorded it.
Starting point is 00:09:06 No, I didn't. I wouldn't record anybody doing it. Name drop! Eddie. Well, I'm like Lunchbox. I thought like Bob Dylan would be cool, but he can't sing anymore. So I picked Bono. Oh, you too.
Starting point is 00:09:17 Yeah. Because he's worldwide, huge. We'd obviously be in a stadium somewhere Obviously With or without you I can live Oh, that's you And when it gets too high I go
Starting point is 00:09:34 Take it, Bono Oh yeah Or when you don't know the words Yeah yeah You forget some of the words Bono take it Did you do that? Yeah and then I would just kind of look at the crowd
Starting point is 00:09:41 Be like yeah sing with Bono And he'd be like Dude shut up, I'm trying to sing And he's hyping Bono Sing with him Have you gone to a YouTube show Never seen him Oh, dude, you would freak out.
Starting point is 00:09:56 Because it is such a production. It's like a corporation at work. It's not like a rock band plane. It's all planned out. He gets you to start believing in like some kind of like anti-war movement in another country that you never knew anything about. All setting, you pull up your phone, you start donating to the Ugandan movement. It's bizarre.
Starting point is 00:10:16 Yeah. Well, mine. Oh, Dad. Come on. I walk out. You're like, shh. Don, I got this. I'd be like.
Starting point is 00:10:22 Ladies gentlemen Over on the guitar John Mayer leading right into that part right there And I just look at it Not my head yet You're sitting next to each other right
Starting point is 00:10:36 You're like that's it No I'm standing I'm just looking right now Look at the guitar I'm just admiring the guitar play right now And I'm looking at John right now I'd be like
Starting point is 00:10:44 Give me take it You want to take it And he'd go Won't you take it And I'd be like All right Don't mind if I do And I pulled the mic at her mouth
Starting point is 00:10:50 And I go Uh-huh Gravity It's working against me All right, John, you take it now And I had to hold back over to him And then he did this, he go And gravity
Starting point is 00:11:04 wants to bring me down And then I go high on this part here Oh, yeah, yeah Oh, I never know Dude, you just harmonized No, I did that Yeah, you did Okay
Starting point is 00:11:19 Well, now I lost my place Sorry, sorry, sorry, sorry, sorry John, hold it. Can you start over, John? And then I haven't started the song over. It's the guitar game. And then he's like, great. And so he started. And then I would just sit up on the high harmony.
Starting point is 00:11:36 I'd be like, and he'd look at me like, dang, you're good. The better than I thought. It's working against me. Dude, you're kind of harmonizing. Thank you, bro. I was watching. This is what I do. I get on Instagram and I watch John Mayer videos a lot of times.
Starting point is 00:11:52 Yeah, he's good on there. Well, not just. He just says a lot of stuff. Not just the same, but like old performances. Oh, oh. And there's a crossroads to him and Keith Thurban. doing that song. Really?
Starting point is 00:12:00 Yeah. It's fantastic. I have to watch that. Yeah. I was watching on Instagram. And Keith Urban sings the beginning of it. Really? And so they're both playing guitar.
Starting point is 00:12:06 Keith Urban's like, Gravity. It's had nothing to get. Oh, you know. Yeah. It's good. All right. Goneria, you say.
Starting point is 00:12:14 Yeah, what's up with that? Gonorrhea rates are up. Up. For people over 65. Oh. Yeah. It rose about 42% last year. I wonder what's up.
Starting point is 00:12:25 Yeah, why? Old people not using protection correctly. a growth in casual partners for older people and an increase in testing. And then they get in these centers, these communities where it's just all Oh, like a nursing home? Or a retirement community.
Starting point is 00:12:40 Okay. And apparently it's like bangy central. Oh, I've known nurses that work there. They say, yeah. Really? It's just like people just gripping and ripping, man. Yeah, they go hard.
Starting point is 00:12:51 As they'd say on the golf course. Yep. On this day in country music, we'll hit you here with this. The Bobby Bones Show. in country music. In 1993, Toby Keith's very first ever number one.
Starting point is 00:13:03 Do you know what that was by the chance? Yeah, should have been a cowboy. Oh, nice. I should have been a cowboy. It was the most country song, played song in 1990s. And I remember the cowboys were like,
Starting point is 00:13:15 they were Super Bowl champions that year, so this was their theme song. Oh, really? Toby wrote this by himself. Got all the money. Dang. All the monies. Wow, man.
Starting point is 00:13:30 Oh, I should have been a cowboy There you go. Jam. How do you feel about eating before you go to bed? Because I didn't get in last night to like 1 a.m. Because we shot CMA Fest all night last night. Yeah. At least the promos for it.
Starting point is 00:13:43 And I was hungry, but it was bedtime. What would you have done? I mean, if I'm legit hungry, I'm going to go ahead and eat something. But I try to, I'm like the, you know, three hours before bed person. So I try to make that my last meal and then let everything digest. I feel like I sleep better. Yeah. So, but I mean, if you're hungry and you've been working all night, I mean, you got to eat.
Starting point is 00:14:05 So we're, I try to not eat food, but I don't. They not feed you over there? Then I, um. You're too busy. Well, I had already eaten. Because I went and got there at six. So I have dinner at 4.30 or 5. Oh, right.
Starting point is 00:14:21 So you had your dinner. Yeah. So then normally he's sleeping. And then we did a script to read through where we all sat around and read the script. Robert Eaton's a producer, Kelsey, Thomas, Rapp, myself. and all of our teams that are there to kind of oversee everything. So it was like 15 people in the room. We go through all the script.
Starting point is 00:14:35 Luckily, everybody knows each other. It's such a fun environment because I've been on sets before where nobody knows anybody and you're all just kind of like feeling each other out and no joky. But we did that for like an hour. Then we had to wait for it to get dark. So then there was like an hour of just sitting, just hanging out because it wasn't dark yet. And we have to show promos at dark time. Yeah, it gets dark late because it just looks like nighttime.
Starting point is 00:14:57 Yeah. So we shut the promo. But it was fun. Kelsey came over and just sat in the dressing room for a while. We just caught up for a bit because I haven't seen her in a casual setting in a long time. So she came over. I have a huge crush on her husband. Yeah. So, and I was... Nice save. No, I do. I know, but you were like, I have a huge crush on her husband. I do, though.
Starting point is 00:15:16 And I was like, Kelsey Morgan is such a good-looking dude. And she's like, I know, right? And I was like, yeah, girlfriend. I'm like, really good-looking. So, yeah, it was good, but it was late. And I had a little bit of food. but I just wonder if I don't sleep well anyway But all right That's it Folks
Starting point is 00:15:32 Anything else that's there we're going to talk about Mike yet didn't get to All right Time for Wednesday show Appreciate you listening Appreciate you being a part of the show Oh was that the Poe Show Yeah what did you think

Starting point is 00:15:52 I guess sometimes we do that huh Amy I don't know I don't know I don't know I don't know Okay. Woo.
Starting point is 00:16:00 Wednesday's show. All right. It's a good one. Here we go. Check out the Bobby cast. I thought we were still doing like the live show. What's wrong? I don't know.
Starting point is 00:16:13 I don't know. I didn't realize the time. I know, but I was like, wow. Because that segment of the who would you do a duet with, I was like that, you know, I know we put good stuff in the post show pre-show. But normally that seems like like a real segment, right? Starting point is 00:21:34 Morning, studio. Morning. Somebody sent a note as one of the negatives about the show. I was reading it yesterday. Okay. Well, you asked for it. I know. Bring it.
Starting point is 00:21:42 They said they can never get through on the phone lines. Oh. I don't know what we can do about that. Yeah. We only have one person answering the phone. So even if we had 100 phone lines, it would just ring. Some of the shows have two phone answers. Should we get a call center?
Starting point is 00:21:56 Can we outsource it by India? Oh, great. No, no. No. I wish we could put more people on. I mean, I try to put as many on the air. Hey, Jim, Massachusetts. Yes, hi.
Starting point is 00:22:08 You good? I'm good. I'm sorry. I didn't expect you to answer. See? Hey. I'm Bobby. That's Amy.
Starting point is 00:22:16 That's Lunchbox. You're on. You're on live. Jim, you're on live. Jim, you're on live, live on the Bobby Bowling Show. Welcome to the show. show. Thank you so much for having me. I appreciate it. What do you want to say, bud? I just wanted to say thank you so much for the positivity that you all share your segment regarding building the
Starting point is 00:22:33 soldier at home. Really inspired me to do community service with my own way. So at the college that I work, we have an opportunity to go to Puerto Rico and do some Hurricane Maria relief, and we all have to raise $1,500 so I'm in the process. When I'm raising that while going on a service trip, we leave next week to do some hurricane release. Well, look at that. Where do people donate to your trip? Honestly, everything has to come through me. So if people are interested, if you look for me, my name is James. My last name is Wilbeson at Regis College.
Starting point is 00:23:03 You'll be able to find my email address and I can give you information. Oh, hey, get this guy's off. A hundred bones his way. Nice. Nice. I get it. Oh, my God. Yeah, well.
Starting point is 00:23:13 So nice. Listen. And so cool that he was inspired to go from Scotty's fundraising. I'm going to tell you, so many people reach out. for us and help us do things. Yeah. That I also like to help out and do things for people that listen to the show. Jim, I'm going to put you on hold.
Starting point is 00:23:28 I'm going to get your email and I'm going to put $100 towards your cause. All right, bud? Awesome. Thank you so much, Bobby. Thank you, everybody. That's not why you were calling. Are you trying to... Yeah, what else?
Starting point is 00:23:37 No, no, no. No, no. No, I'm totally kidding. Jim, I'm probably giving you a hard time. No, we appreciate the compliment. Thank you for listening to the show. Awesome. Thank you all.
Starting point is 00:23:49 Have a great day. There you go. Hey, tonight, by the way, the CMT Awards, I will be at the CMT Awards. I will be presenting tonight. So I hope you check it out, not even for me, but for really all the fun stories and all the fun music and all the video awards. Here is Brothers Osborne talking about neighborhood parties. And so this is because you live next to TJ Osborne. Yes.
Starting point is 00:24:13 Like literally, your neighbor. Literally. And you have loud parties. We got like a new neighbor that likes to throw parties. Oh, between us? Yes. You know, honestly, I can't, I cannot point the finger to anybody. I've had so many ragers in my life next to my neighbors.
Starting point is 00:24:27 In fact, the old, the guy that lived there before him came over because I threw a rager for New Year's and he was pissed off and came over. But New Year's, I get it. This was a Wednesday night on like a normal week, like no holiday. And it was like. And you're right next door to that. And you go to a bit early too. Right. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:24:44 So, because T.J. does live right by you. Are you guys cool? Like, aside from any work stuff. If you guys just see each other, would you just chill and hang out and not talk about work stuff? Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:24:55 Yeah. And he's super cool with my kids, especially Stevenson, like the nicest. Like, I mean, I'm sure he's busy to, like, talk to an eight-year-old,
Starting point is 00:25:03 but he always, like, makes time to talk to him and ask him things and teach him things. And, you know, that's when you know someone's cool. They're good dudes. Yeah, for sure.
Starting point is 00:25:11 I can only say that so many times, but they're good dudes. Solid. They're good dudes. Yeah, buy all their music. Buy their merch when you go to a show. Yeah. Here's the Bobby.
Starting point is 00:25:20 Bones Show podcast highlight segment of the day. Bobby Bones. I got a message from a listener going, hey, would you please stop singing over songs? And I replied back, kindly, no. I won't. I will never stop singing over songs. Good. That's just me in my heart. I like to sing over songs.
Starting point is 00:25:36 This is me this morning. Amy last night, we shot promos for a CMA Fest until I think I'm my answer story. It shows us in a golf cart at 12.30 this morning. And I got home probably like one, had a little something to eat, starving. And luckily, I like everybody.
Starting point is 00:25:52 The time flew by. It was just late. It was me, Thomas Wreck, Kelsey Ballerini. And so it's good just work with friends because you just sit around. It's like fun, yeah. Yeah. Except for I got home,
Starting point is 00:26:02 and I swear to you, I lay down in my bed. And I had to take someone to get me to sleep, so I took a pill. And I'm like, all right, and I close my eyes slowly. You know how your eyes just kind of fade slow.
Starting point is 00:26:13 And as soon as my eyes hit, I heard. No. As soon, it felt like it felt like they weren't even closed it all the way. It's like my eyes were still kind of open And I don't like that sound I know
Starting point is 00:26:25 Did you said it wrong? No No It was time for the show The start this morning And they were like Hey so you got off tomorrow Huh?
Starting point is 00:26:31 Tom Shretway You're off tomorrow Look at you I was like Off Every day you're muscling That that that That da da da da da da
Starting point is 00:26:38 That da da da da But it was good We did a bunch We took a bunch promos last night And close eyes Ah Time to make the donuts But I'm
Starting point is 00:26:51 I'm so happy to have a job that I love because it does make the mornings where the waking up makes them better. I know. And you got to work with friends last night and you got to wake up and come in and work with your friends again. I'm telling you. We're so fun. And you joke, but I'm going to say this as sincere as possible. To everyone out there that's listening right now, and maybe you're on a funk and I'm not sure what your career, what your job has going for you. But if you find something that you love to do, you just work harder at it and you end up finding your groove and being a success.
Starting point is 00:27:20 And if you work with your friend If you work with people that you like It just makes all the difference in the world All the difference Because I'm telling you, eyes close Ah! You know what I thought? I get to go see Amy today.
Starting point is 00:27:33 Oh. Hey, yeah. Yeah, yeah. Oh, just Amy. Okay. Amy and I are in my little room this morning And she can't move her head still. Like we are a team between Amy's net
Starting point is 00:27:44 I've been constipated for like three months by the way And Amy can't move her body We're just a team of people getting old. I just sent my doctor in night. note. I was like, dude, I've been constipated for months. What can I do here? Morgan number two is doing constipation commercials. She's 25. I know. I'm like, listen to Morgan number two. I know. I know. And Amy can't move. She's like, you see the person move their shoulders when they have to turn their head because she had such a crick in her neck. She had people come to her
Starting point is 00:28:05 house last night and try to like work her neck out. Yeah. And the last person that left like doing some dry and leaving. She's like, you might have to come see me tomorrow because I don't know what's happening. Like your muscles are just not responding. They're too tight. I'm like, sweet. What does that mean, though? I don't know. I guess that the muscles are in protection mode. So like when something's out of whack, they like instantly go into like, I got to protect this space. And they're not loosening up to where she can adjust me.
Starting point is 00:28:32 And you're getting older and things don't bounce back as fast. And that stinks. I'll mention this to you. I was talking of Tom Shrette last night. He's putting together a big puzzle on his dressing room. Yeah? So we were all on a break trying to put together a puzzle. And I don't see very well and colors aren't good for me.
Starting point is 00:28:47 So I just sat in the back. And I was like, yeah, I'm a help. but I couldn't see the color, so I got kind of embarrassed. I didn't even put any pieces together. Yeah. I didn't find two matching pieces last night. And I was nothing for 10 minutes. And finally I was like, puzzles just aren't my thing.
Starting point is 00:28:59 But they kind of really would be if I could, if it's good. Well, so is that how he passes the time? That's kind of cool. He said, I don't know if it's how he often does it, but he has a big puzzle in this room. I like that. Okay. Well, but, yeah, I do feel bad for you that you had to experience that. But does he know about your color blindness?
Starting point is 00:29:16 No, I don't go in and scream. Here's my, is it a disability? Yeah, colorblind. Yeah, because, yeah, you can't dress sometimes. Okay, thank you. Well, listen. Sometimes I don't even know how you drive, like knowing. I mean, I know you have the lights memorized because you know where red, yellow, green is on the light.
Starting point is 00:29:32 Oh, go ahead. Tell your theory. What do you mean? How you memorize colors. Like, it may not look green to you, but you know what go means. Now, I think that all, we all could see colors differently. That's it. I know.
Starting point is 00:29:45 When you get into this, I agree. No, no, no, no. I agree. Amy, you have, my red could be your blue. You have no idea what my brain sees. And we all just attack, whatever, I'm not getting it started on this. Tom Schrett said to tell you that you did a great job hosting his album release party. Oh, really?
Starting point is 00:30:05 And he was like, hey, I was bummed. At first you were like, oh, it was kind of bummed. It wasn't you. But then he was like, you know what, Amy did such a great job. He's like, she was fantastic. And I was like, she is fantastic. Oh, that means a lot. Thanks.
Starting point is 00:30:17 She's going to run this. I had to have a call with Amy last week. I tell them why I told you? I don't know. Tell who? You don't need to tell anybody. I don't know for sure which conversation. Okay, I'll wait then.
Starting point is 00:30:26 No. I don't need to talk about. I was like, Amy, I'm preparing you for one. It's not for me to go. Oh, we had one of those talks. Oh, that one. Which, I was like, what? What do you mean preparing?
Starting point is 00:30:36 You're not going anywhere. You never know. Yeah. You never. One day, the alarm clock won't be going off anymore. It's like a walker his life. Not dying. Oh, that's what I was thinking.
Starting point is 00:30:47 Right? Right. Like, where's the, are you writing some letter, some song to someone who's going to come and take your place? No, no, no, no. Anyway, I'm at a great long night last night. Tonight's CMT Awards will be doing that. That you'd be fun. And you could go and be my date, but you can't move your head.
Starting point is 00:31:05 And I refuse to walk down the red carpet with somebody who can't move their head. Yeah, it's good. Thank you. Amy over here. I just want to be better. And she's like, huh. She's turning really slow. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:31:14 I'm going to watch it from the, I would say the comfort of my couch when we're really not comfortable doing anything. From the misery of anywhere. I'm just going to watch it. What's 2019 CMT Music Wars alive from Nashville tonight at 8-7 Central on CMT? So, yeah, there's that. I guess you talked to Kane Brown yesterday. I did.
Starting point is 00:31:32 And it's always a bit awkward when you two talk because you try to be way cooler. Well, he's young and cool. Yeah, he's very cool. Okay. Here's Amy and Kane Brown. It's on fire. Oh, this is you trying terms? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:31:46 I mean, he knows the speak. Yeah, yeah. So you're trying like millennial words, this is? All right. It's on fire. Yeah. Now, would you describe the fire as like hot or like lit? No.
Starting point is 00:32:01 I have no idea why I just said that. Uh, I don't know. Well, I'm just want to know the cane brown lingo. We'll say hot. We'll say hot. Okay. So just to confirm. since I'm like older, lit is not cool anymore?
Starting point is 00:32:19 Is that not? No, it's cool. Okay. It sounded different when you said it. Yeah. After it came out of my mouth, yeah, his face, like, made me feel like I don't even know why I said that. And the term, for now, it isn't on fire anymore. If something's cool, it's fire.
Starting point is 00:32:38 Mm-hmm. Not on fire, but if it's like... Did I say on fire? Well, I'm just telling you. Okay. He said the emoji to describe it. his life would be the fire emoji. And so that's when I was like, okay, so does that mean you're hot or you're lit? All right. He's Amy and Kane Brown? You manage your Graham. Yeah. I mean.
Starting point is 00:33:00 Oh, boy, you called it Graham. I'm so dumb. Okay. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Does that another cool lingo? Yes, Kane, it is. You don't call it the Graham? No. Okay. Me neither. Just kidding. Hey, yeah. Amy and Kane Brown. In Raleigh, North Carolina, a retired 66-year-old retailer, Step forward at the lottery headquarters claimed last weekend's $344 million jackpot. He said he got the numbers from a fortune cookie. In other news, officials are warning about the postcard delivery scam.
Starting point is 00:37:24 It's showing up in mailboxes. It says call a number, pay a fee for a box you order. This is totally fake. And finally, the CMT Awards are tonight, 8.7 Central on CMT. You talked to Old Dominion about when you saw him delayed at the airport? I did, yeah. And stars are not like us. I thought they were like us
Starting point is 00:37:44 and then they're not. Okay, here's Amy talking to Old Dominions. I assume y'all made it out of the airport the other day. You made it to Dallas. Barely. I know. Everybody in the whole, like, U.S. was stranded that day.
Starting point is 00:37:55 We did it ill-advisedly, actually. It was like straight out of a movie. We ended up having to like book a private plane to make the show. Oh my gosh. We're about 30 minutes from land and then the pilot turns around and he's like, fellas, it's going to get really rough.
Starting point is 00:38:11 And we're like, okay. He said, we've been redirected five times, but we don't have enough gas to do the last reroute. So we're going to punch through the storm. He said we're going to find a hole. Well, two things. Stars are not like us. No, I know, because I just had to wait for my delay, and then they got to charter a plane. So I was like, well, but I mean, they had a show to make.
Starting point is 00:38:30 They Ubered in a plane. They got on the ramp. All right. And then two, if my pilot goes, you know what, boy, it's going to be rough. We're just heading through. We'll see what happens. Find a hole. Yeah, I'm probably going to pee a little bit.
Starting point is 00:38:39 Yeah. Here's Kelsey Ballerini talking to Amy about sitting next to Billy Ray Cyrus at the CMT Awards tonight. I just had my rehearsal and I always like to get my bearings on like where I'm sitting home, sitting next to and stuff. Saw Billy Ray Cyrus. I'm like taking Instagrams and me singing it, wondering if he notices. I know. I feel like he may have to do like a lot of stories where you're just like casually like, take my horse in the old town road.
Starting point is 00:39:03 I wonder if he's over it or if he's fine with it. I mean, I'm not over it. I'm not over it. Clearly. Nobody I know is. it. Like, it is still, like... Is you getting a performance? Growing strong. I have no idea.
Starting point is 00:39:14 I haven't been given that low down yet. Me either. There you go. Yeah. Good Amy getting all the scoops. Tonight, CMT Awards, if you're going to watch. I'll give you one more clip of Amy talking to Brett Eldridge, and they're talking about, what, Hot Yoga?
Starting point is 00:39:29 Yeah. Have you all done in Hot Yoga? Yes, I love it. It's so good. It's so good. Even though I sweat a lot. I feel like really weird sometimes. Okay.
Starting point is 00:39:37 Tip. Are you new to it? like in the last few weeks Okay So I really appreciate people in class That sweat a lot if they shower before class Oh is that a thing Yeah
Starting point is 00:39:50 Why shower before class? I don't shower before class Well you should And I sweat a lot Oh you should Just because you'll feel better You'll be like oh this is clean sweat Not like all day sweat Depending on what time you go
Starting point is 00:40:03 I just think it's like respect to those around you If you're a big time sweater You know? Interesting Yeah You do hot yoga. You and Brett, y'all are y'all going together because you're buddies? No, he did text me last weekend and he goes, hey, do you want, he's like, what are you doing?
Starting point is 00:40:17 And I'm always like, I don't know, because if I answer nothing and he wants to do something that I don't want to do, that I'm stuck. Because Brett and I are friends. And I was like, I was actually going to yoga. And he goes, I'm going to like an hour. I was going to say if you wanted to go. I think that's his new thing. Well. Because he was going to come boxing with me and he was like, I got into yoga.
Starting point is 00:40:34 Well, if y'all do it together, just make sure when y'all are texting. Shout. No, you don't have to shower together. Throw each other a text before class and be like, dude, you showering? You showering? Like, let's go clean. Clean. Interesting.
Starting point is 00:40:48 Especially if y'all are both sweaters and you're next to each other. Think about it. It's just nice to know that the other person next to you is clean. Yeah, I sweat like crazy, but they don't touch me ever, the people are next to me, so I'm good. Your sweat's still there and it flings. Like, say you get into one move. If somebody flings on me, I'm going to scream. Exactly.
Starting point is 00:41:03 I've been flung on before. I don't fling. I don't fling. Some moves like that you do, you can't help but fling. I don't know what kind of jump kicks you're doing Bobby boom Come on Hey what's happening
Starting point is 00:41:15 You there? Oh my God, is this body bones Yeah, who's this? This is Mindy How are you? What's happening? Are you good? I am fantastic
Starting point is 00:41:24 I'm going to start crying I just wanted to say Thank you so so much To your whole entire show I'm a 27-year-old single mom And I just graduated With my bachelor's degree
Starting point is 00:41:37 I read your Still until you three times and I would have never have done it without your show your whole entire show it definitely helped me and brought me to the next stage of my life
Starting point is 00:41:52 so I just wanted to say thank you and I'm sorry I'm crying I love you guys Wow, listen I'm very proud of you You're 27 which you had to go back and go I'm going to make the uncomfortable decision to go back to school with a bunch 18-19 year olds and you're a single mom, which that means you had to find and be responsible enough to find somebody responsible to be able to watch your child.
Starting point is 00:42:17 That's right. And I'm sure you had to work as well. You got to pay the bills, right? Yes, sir. I am a full-time recruiter for financial advisor. And you went back to, look at this. Come on. You are the reason that I would even know enough to write a book like my last book called Fail Until You Don't.
Starting point is 00:42:36 I'm so honored that you read that. And at the very end of it, Amy, I do say, you should start the book over and read it again, and she read it three times. Three times, yes, because there was so many times where I wanted to give up, I mean, Amy and Eddie and Lunchbox, I'm sure he understands with his new baby, and life is just crazy when you're trying to figure it out with kids. And I have no family in Alabama, so doing it all by myself, and I wanted to quit many, many times. And I would have it, so it wouldn't have been for you guys. And I mean all of you guys. Look at you. We are so proud of you. Well, let me say this, Mindy. My mom is a single mom, and she raised two kids. And then my grandmother was a single mom, and she was raising me and my sister,
Starting point is 00:43:17 too, at the same time. And so, you know, I come from a place where it was difficult. And I know how difficult it can be to make sure everybody's eating. And also make sure the the water bill is paid and make sure that you're having time to study. And so you have nothing but respect for me. And I know you've read it three times, but I think I'm going to send you another copy of the book. I'm going to write a note in it for a little. and you don't have to read it again, but maybe it don't mean a little something to you yet. And yeah, I'm just... Oh, I'm definitely going to read it again, and I'm going to read it to my daughter.
Starting point is 00:43:44 I'm just so proud of you, Mindy. That is really fan. And I appreciate... What are you going to do now that you have your degree? So right now, I have a pretty great career. I'm a recruiter for a large financial firm in Mobile, and I'm pretty happy where I am. I just hope they keep me and help me move up. I just really wanted to get my degree for my daughter, so I could show her that,
Starting point is 00:44:08 you can do absolutely anything that you put your mind to, regardless of the obstacles that are in your way. You're such a good example for many people out there listening, including myself still. You're a good example for even me to look at and go, that is what it's all about because you wanted it. You just wanted it more than you didn't want her to have an example of what you were doing. So listen, I'm going to put you on hold. I'm going to make sure you get a little something for me.
Starting point is 00:44:32 And I just think that's so freaking cool. And thank you for saying that I had any 1% to do with that. Oh, yes, sir, your whole entire show. And I told the young lady on the phone, everyone, you guys have so much respect for me for what you guys do. And I'm not the only person. You have so many people that you bring a light to when we feel like we have no way to go.
Starting point is 00:44:54 So thank you. Well, you're very welcome and thank you. And yeah, that's wild, man. Good for you. There she is. Mindy and Alabama. Just kill. And remember, the one thing they can't take away from you ever is your education.
Starting point is 00:45:06 They can fire you, they can promote you, they can move you. The one thing people can never take away from you is your education. And you got that now, so congratulations. The year is 1976, and Barbara Walters made television history by becoming the first woman to anchor a nightly newscast at a time when the three networks were, I mean, all men. Sausage Fest. Yeah. And that's where all, well, obviously it was all men because she was the first female.
Starting point is 00:50:25 But these three networks, that's where everybody was. getting their news. So everyone was tuning in. Everyone was watching. There wasn't a bunch of different outlets. It was like a really big deal. And she was paid $1 million a year for five years. It does kind of make me wonder, I wonder what the guys were getting paid. But who cares? She still made history doing this. And pretty awesome. Look where it led her. And she got interviews with like... Well, look where it led every one. Oh, everyone. Yeah. She broke the glass ceiling. Yes. Thank you. She broke the glass ceiling. And that, what year was that?
Starting point is 00:50:57 176. It's crazy that there weren't women on TV anchoring in 76. That's short time ago. Well, there you go, Amy. Great story. And then she got like one hour specials after that, and she would, like, get into little, like, things with Fidel Castro and Al Pacino. So shout out Barbara Walters.
Starting point is 00:51:20 That is a great story. Bobby Bones Show. Bonehead. Story up the day. This story comes us from Sacramento, California. Two roommates were arguing who gets control of the TV channel changer. Oh, I want to watch this. No, I want to watch this. So one roommate that lost the argument goes in his room, gets a couple propane tanks, lights him on fire, and jumps out the window.
Starting point is 00:51:45 House blows up. No one was hurt, but he's charged with arson and vandalism. Wait, so basically he lit a bomb and then jumped out the window? Yep, all because he couldn't watch the TV channel he wanted to watch. What show, though? I guess it depends on what show it was. It doesn't say, but the 37-year-old was arrested a couple blocks away. Wow. If it's like Killing Eve, I've been watching that, that's pretty good. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:52:04 I get it. But if it's like Great American British Bacon Show or whatever it is. I put, do you ever watch that bacon show? Who? I can't get into these food shows. Oh, no, I don't watch food shows. People. Sometimes I watch, oh, Batman.
Starting point is 00:52:19 Chopped. That's what it's called. Chopped. That's a good one. I have a friend that just finished Chop. She was on it. Oh, really? It airs in, like, the fall.
Starting point is 00:52:26 Oh, cool. But again, I watch these cooking shows. I don't learn anything because I don't pay attention enough to learn anything. And then I'm just hungry. And then I go spend money. Yeah. So, and then it's not entertaining to me. But people love, I don't even like that.
Starting point is 00:52:39 I also am not big into the home decorating shows. Oh, yeah. Me neither. Do you watch those on HGTV? No, but people are obsessed with like Chip and Joanna. Yeah, do you, do you ever watch their stuff? Uh-uh. No.
Starting point is 00:52:50 Mm-mm. But so many people watch it and they're obsessed. And I saw, I was flipping at the hotel the other day and like trading Spaces is still on. I used to love that show back in college. Is that with Balke Bar talking about it? No. But they just revamped it. Apparently it's like new. They brought it back. Like, and you know, where you trade
Starting point is 00:53:06 with your neighbor and you decorate. Lunchbox, you like that. The brother one, right? Oh. Yeah, I do like that. Property brothers. They're kind of fun. My wife watches it, so I do watch it whenever she does. And they're enjoyable. They're good on TV. And so are the Chip and Joina. I've never seen them.
Starting point is 00:53:22 I just, that's just not really my deal. Like that chip dude seems like he's down to earth And kind of a fun guy Like he's like me Like he sees a wall And he tries to run through the walls When they're doing destruction
Starting point is 00:53:33 And he run through walls That's what you do Are you like Koolik man? Well he likes it like You know karate kick it and stuff And he gets hurt all the time Because he's doing stupid stuff And I'm like that's exactly how hard
Starting point is 00:53:44 Because it looks fun And then it's like Oh there's wall There's two by fours behind it Do you like food shows? No, I hate those They're miserable Why?
Starting point is 00:53:53 They're not miserable to me I just I'm like Yeah I just like hungry. It's miserable because I can't do any of that. And so I just get so bored. Like, there's going all this stuff around. And I'm like, okay, can we just move on? We're never going to make that.
Starting point is 00:54:06 I'm never going to have something that tastes that good. Let's just move on. I don't even know half the stuff they're saying. Like, oh, I need someone. I need someone. Blu-blah blabla. I think we're in the minority. We have a room full of people that don't watch. Do you like the food shows? Raymond do you? My girlfriend does. She loves them. Do you like them, too? What's your favorite one? The chew. Oh, that's like the talk show,
Starting point is 00:54:24 right? Yeah, she reports. It's a watch. I don't know what we started talking about here What was it talking about? I have no idea. Oh, a bonehead. Oh, the guys were arguing over what they were watching on TV. It was probably Chip and Joey. What's that, whatever their show goes called.
Starting point is 00:54:38 He probably got mad. Or the nanny. That could have been one too. All right, there you go, lunchbox. I'm lunchbox. That's your bonehead story of the day. Thank you. On the Bobby Bone Show now.
Starting point is 00:54:47 Matt Stowe. Here he is. There he is. Matt Stowe. Hey, man, have a seat right here. Good to see, boy. You good? I'm great.
Starting point is 00:54:55 Look at this guy. How tall are you? Holy crap. I didn't know you're that tall. I'm like 6, 7 or so. Are you? Yeah. When did you grow? Like what age did you start to be bigger than everybody? My first, like my hardbacked driver's license permit said I was 511. And then when I went to get, that was like 15. And then when I went to get my license, I was 6.3 at that point. So I guess between my 15 and 16 year old years, I started being not the same size as people.
Starting point is 00:55:21 Did that hurt? You grew that fast? You remember? You know, not really. I remember a little joint pain, but not much. I'm so fascinated with tall people. You know, I went to the doctor, I'm at, and they told me I was 6'1 for the first time ever. I think I'm still growing. Yeah. I grew in, I grew in college. Like, an appreciable amount, like over an inch. I bet what do you, because you're so tall, that's the first thing everybody talks about. It is, yeah. They say you play basketball? Yeah, I get that a lot. But I just think about it as everybody's trying to, you know, have a brand, and mine's pretty strong. I'm just.
Starting point is 00:55:53 tall. So you're a Arkansas boy like me. Yeah. I was looking at your Instagram and I saw you playing at Sticky Fingers, which is I used to go stick your fingers all the time. Yeah. And it's a place like in Little Rock, it's right on the river. And that's where I would go and watch a lot of bands play. I bet it'd be pretty cool to go back home and play, huh? Oh, it's amazing, man. I'm good friends with the owners of the spot there and then just down the street at River Room too. They're just the same people. And I've been playing there forever. And so it's a lot of fun to see new and more faces show up and then be excited about it and yeah it's it's always great to go home i'm going to play a little bit of this song here we're playing it earlier but they're starting to sing this back to you pretty loud at
Starting point is 00:56:39 shows it's pretty crazy man right yeah yeah it's surreal how long ago did you write this shoot i guess it'd be about two years now or so it's notty it takes that long man it is crazy it's i liken the whole experience to drinking ice water and turning the cup up and the ice doesn't move when the water's done until it all moves at once and it crashes down your face. That's what the journey has been like. I think for me, I started to go, oh, look at this dude. One, you're from Arkansas. I'm always watching Arkansas people. Just to kind of see where it is. Adam Handbricks, watching Ashley McBride a little bit.
Starting point is 00:57:15 You know Heath Sanders? Yeah, man. That's like my dude. Oh, I know. You can't like not know all those people, but Heath especially, like, he's from where I was born and I worked a little bit in the oil and gas fields as well at a time. So, yeah, I just kind of knew who each other were for a while. It's funny. Matt Stell is here, and he has a song called Prayed for You. But you're from Center Ridge, which I dated a girl from Coney. And that's how I know Center Ridge. It's like up to the left of Conway. Yeah, the liquor store next to Conway. Yeah, exactly. Look at you. And when did you move to Nashville? I guess it's between five and six years ago, something like that. It's kind of running together.
Starting point is 00:57:50 Crazy. You've been here as long as I've been here. But it's nutty now. People are like, oh, this new guy. There's a new guy Matt Stel. Exactly. Exactly. I feel like even I have stories of back. in my day traffic wasn't as bad type of things. You've been here that long, but it feels like you're the new guy. Exactly. I'm going to play your song in a second. I know you have your guitar. Are you tuned?
Starting point is 00:58:08 Yeah, man. Did you grab that? I would be curious, and I don't want you to play the whole thing. And we're in a temporary studio right now, so, you know, when we get the new one, Bill, you can do a whole concert. Great. But I would be curious to hear you kind of break this down and just do like a verse and a chorus of prayed for you before we play it. You got it, man. This guy's name is Matt Stell.
Starting point is 00:58:24 If you're new to Matt. You can follow him on Instagram at Matt Stelel, and this is a verse and chorus of prayed for you. Whenever you're ready, bud. Hey guys, so because of licensing roles, we can't play anything with music on this I-HartRadio channel or podcast anymore, but you can go to bobbybones.com to see it. We hate that we had to take it down.
Starting point is 00:58:45 It wasn't our decision, but I just wanted to keep you up and we wanted to keep up as much as possible. So go to bobbybones.com to watch or hear whatever you're missing right now, and thank you for listening to the show, and sorry about all the legal stuff. stuff. Look at this guy right here. Matt Stel.
Starting point is 00:59:02 Early in the morning singing. It's the best type. Fresh. Right, exactly. Local chords are so fresh. So fresh. It's like I should play at a full step lower this time of the morning. Someone just told me in my ear that you did play basketball.
Starting point is 00:59:15 I did. In high school? In high school in college, yeah. I enjoyed the gas still play a little bit. At 6'7 though, would you go to small school or did you go to a big school? What are you talking? High school. High school? Oh, I went to like the small. I went to class high school. So you probably play at center. You're probably a center at a small school.
Starting point is 00:59:33 Could you move? I can move a little bit. Play a little forward? Yeah, I could, you know, I could. Would you dunk in high school games? Yeah, I could dug in high school game. Would you dunk in warmups? Because that was always the coolest. Because I'm from a tiny school. There were like two guys that could dunk.
Starting point is 00:59:45 Exactly. Yeah. That happened. Actually, we were in the, yes. I don't want to tell any more details because it's like some painful stories in case somebody was watching about dunking in warmups. Did you miss? It wasn't me. But, no, Duncan and Warmore, that was to just let everybody know that you were there and that you had arrived and that that's what they had to deal with. And it's like, then I got to college and it's like everybody was, you know, it was like not a thing. That's just how you finished a play. And so it became a little less cool.
Starting point is 01:00:14 You know what's kind of irritating about you is you do everything. Well, you know, these guys come in. Me, what about you? We're not talking about this. This is not the Bobby interview. This is the Mad interview. Matt Stell is here. you obviously an athlete
Starting point is 01:00:26 you can obviously sing you got accepted to go to do like pre-med at Harvard is that true? A pre-medical program, yeah, yeah. Yeah. Yeah, I mean... That's what I'm talking about. Well, you know, I just basically
Starting point is 01:00:40 I went on this medical missions trip a few years ago to Haiti and I was writing songs and I spent a lot of time in the kind of Texas world that's where I cut my teeth and moved up here and was trying to get irons in the fire get things going and you know
Starting point is 01:00:53 the wheels were turning slow and then went on this mission trip and saw these, you know, doctors and pharmacists and even nurses just materially improving people's lives just by knowing what to do. And it really hit me in a special way. And I, you know, for the first time, I was like, well, what if I don't? What if I'm just going to play music for kind of the thing that I do for fun or for extra cash, whatever? And what if I took this other path? And, man, I was about eight weeks from moving to Massachusetts. Let me get this straight. one more time from my memory.
Starting point is 01:01:26 Yeah. He's super smart. You can sing. You can play ball. I mean, that's pretty much it. Ames there anything else that he could do that he hasn't done yet? No, but I mean, I mean, other things are shining through. Like, he goes on mission trips. He has a heart of gold.
Starting point is 01:01:44 Yeah. Come on. Come on. See people changing people's lives. I mean, listen, you're not bad to look at. What else this guy doing over here? Oh, man. Let me say.
Starting point is 01:01:55 He didn't even want to talk right now. Matt's got all... You have a whole EP out that you just put out. Yeah. Been a real treat talking to you and getting to meet you for the first time. Man, great to meet you. I just don't think we're going to stand beside each other and take a picture. No offense.
Starting point is 01:02:06 Everybody's cool with that, right? Seated pictures. Yeah, okay, seated. It's like, it's tough for me to take a picture with Charles Kelly. Yeah. Like, I always feel like I'm kind of getting to be a bit masculine, a little manly. But then when I stand next to big dudes, it's just... Oh, you're pretty tall guy.
Starting point is 01:02:19 Yeah, 6'1. The Doctor's it. Hey, that's on the right side of the distribution curve, right? It is. All right, Matt Stel. Follow them on Instagram. Matt Stel Music. M-A-T-Tel music.

Starting point is 01:06:21 What can I do for you this morning? I was going to ask you about your book. I was first time calling, by the way. That's your first time calling? Is that what he said? Yeah. Well, you have the composure of a mini-time caller. No, I'm kidding.
Starting point is 01:06:34 I'm glad you're so excited. Go ahead. So what's your goal going to be for, like, the next book? Like, what are you going to, like, write about in your next one? Wait, why do you assume I'm writing another book? You always talk about writing another book. I know. I always talk about it. Well, here's the thing.
Starting point is 01:06:53 I've written two books. The first one was a story about my life, and I didn't think it would do well, and it ended up doing all right. And then I did the second one. And it was fight, grind, repeat. It was called Fail Until You Don't, and it was about how we're all failing all the time,
Starting point is 01:07:06 but because we're not talking about it, we feel so alone whenever we're failing. And it was kind of to get that story out. And I had a bunch of my artist friends and successful friends, not write their success, but write their biggest failure. And the whole point of that last book was, hey, everybody, you're not failing alone.
Starting point is 01:07:25 Just nobody's talking about it. And so this one, I've been thinking about this one, A. And I've kind of started writing some. When I wrote that essay for Darius's wife or her book, it kind of got my emotions going a little bit on what I should write about. Okay. And I think everybody feels a little bit like they're a bit broken. Like we all feel like, oh, something's wrong with me.
Starting point is 01:07:47 Yeah. But if everybody's broken, is anyone even broken? Aren't we just a different kind of puzzle? Right. If everybody's broken, nobody's broken. But we're all kind of messed up in a way that I don't think anyone's messed up at all. That makes sense? Yes, it does.
Starting point is 01:08:02 And I think we all feel, again, it's always back to that feeling alone thing for me. Because I think we all feel alone because all of these things that we're told, ooh, it's not good that you're like this. Everybody's experiencing something like that. they're just not sharing it with each other from, you know, with the anxiety or the social pressures or even, you know, what Instagram's doing to people where you're going, man, it looks like they're just having the greatest time and their life's awesome. Right.
Starting point is 01:08:25 I suck because I'm sad sometimes and sometimes I don't even have enough money to pay all my bills. That's everybody. Everybody's going through that. So that's kind of what I've been thinking about and John some ideas about because I just think that we are so hyper-focused on showing what. why things are going so good, even when they're really not, that everybody else who sees that goes, well, things aren't going as good for me, so I must kind of be, some part of my life's broken.
Starting point is 01:08:53 Something's not right with me. But nobody's right. And again, I use the word, if everybody's broken, then nobody's broken. So it's something in that world, because I think we all kind of need that. I need that. I'm writing that, but I need that from people too. I need to know that it's not all figured out from other people. One of my best friends is Charlemagne the God.
Starting point is 01:09:13 and it looks like I watch them on Instagram I'm like dude you're killing it and he calls me and he's like what do you need advice from me from he's like you don't even really know what I'm going through because I don't because people don't share that stuff so I think in that same vein
Starting point is 01:09:27 of the failure it's over here and hey you're actually okay I know you feel like you're not okay and you only feel like that way because other people aren't sharing with you why they're not okay so I know that's a whole little soapboxy thing that I just went on there
Starting point is 01:09:40 but I think that's kind of where I am in the thinking about the next book Are you into it? Would you buy that, Abby? Yeah. Yeah, I haven't read your second one yet, but yeah, I agree the next one. I think your fail-in-to-you-don't one would be a great book for my basketball team to read because my coach likes to read a lot of, like, positive books for us to get to know, like, to keep our team positive.
Starting point is 01:10:04 I think your book would be a great book to read for my basketball team. Well, that's the last one. Fail until you don't. Thank you, Abby, for the call. Appreciate it. First-time caller, Abby. We love that. The Babbon Show.
Starting point is 01:10:16 Here's Amy's pile of stories. So back in April, we talked about how Hallmark would be releasing a record number of 40 movies this year, and it all starts next month. 40 new Hallmark movies. Holy Mother. It's a lot. They shoot those all the time. The Christmas movies, right? They're on fire, and basically Candice Cameron is in all of them.
Starting point is 01:10:34 Well, good for her. I know. That's a lot of jumping around. That's like Elvis back in the day. Yeah. Movie's over. All right. We got two days for this movie, two days for the next movie.
Starting point is 01:10:42 That's right. happening in July because Hallmark will be premiering two holiday movies this summer, one on July 7th and another one July 13th. So I mean, and I come Christmas time, I don't think my TV, it's never really on normal TV anyways because Netflix is so awesome, but I always have it on Hallmark. They've definitely found their niche in that they do those, and I mean this in the most loving way, those dopey Christmas movies, right? Yeah. Like they're like corny, but we love corny things, including the morning corny, which we do on this show. So don't take that as a bad thing.
Starting point is 01:11:15 Yeah, so very similar. Yes. Okay, what else? Okay, Little Caesars is testing out. Pizza, pizza. Yeah. Yeah, but a new, kind of. Fresh and ready.
Starting point is 01:11:23 I don't know if that's still their slogan. Pizza, pizza. Hot and ready. That's what it is. Pizza anymore? Pizza, pizza. It's probably from like 1997. All right, what is the name?
Starting point is 01:11:31 What are they doing now? Frito pie pizza. Oh, are you kidding. Anybody feeling it? Love it. I'm gonna tell you, I would go to high school games. I played high school football. But I go to basketball games.
Starting point is 01:11:40 they would just open a pack of of Freeto's. They would cut the top of it off. I don't know if this is a South thing. No, no, no. They did it in Texas, too. They did, okay. And they would just take the scissors and open the top of the pack of Freeto's and take chili and just dump it in the Freeto's
Starting point is 01:11:52 and give you a plastic spoon. And you would walk around with that bag of Freeto's with chili. It was the greatest high school athletic event food you could possibly buy. The Frito pie is what reminds me. Man, that sounds good. And then Sonic had a pretty solid one, too.
Starting point is 01:12:09 Did they? Yeah, I don't know if they said. still do, but Sonic had a solid frito pie. And they're a frito pie pizza, huh? Frito pie pizza, yeah, and let me tell you the price, $10. Well, I love pizza. For a large. I don't eat pizza that often, but just because of the bread, I don't have to eat a lot of bread,
Starting point is 01:12:25 especially if I'm doing TV stuff. But I don't think I'd have wasted on Frito pie pizza. Maybe to taste it, but boy, I like thin crust pepperoni from Pizza Hut. It's super thin. It is the best pizza. If there's $10,000 pizza with gold truffles, and like, you know, Erkle's eyebrow hair. Yeah, get that out of you.
Starting point is 01:12:44 Who cares about that? Like, I like thin crust just right down to the basics. I can eat a whole large pepperoni pizza. Thin, yeah. Thin. It's got to be the right time for that, though. And that is not right now. All right, what else, Amy?
Starting point is 01:12:57 So, Bradley Cooper is apparently on the rocks. Oh, like a drink? I don't know how to say. Arena. Oh, his girlfriend. His girl. Yeah. Because of their daughter, apparently they keep trying.
Starting point is 01:13:10 is what was said on page six. They were spotted out to dinner and a spy said they're not looking happy. They barely spoke to each other at the start of the meal. But sometimes honestly, I'm out to dinner with my husband and we're like not talking or we're doing something and we're like, and I'm like, I'll look up and suddenly I'll be like, oh my gosh, we're that couple. We're that couple that looks like, let's start talking. Let's start talking because we look like we're miserable.
Starting point is 01:13:32 But really we just needed food so we went out to eat. We don't really have to engage. It wasn't like a date. Well, and also, you talk all the time. If you tell why you're not talking at dinner. Yeah. Listen, I don't know. I did read that story too
Starting point is 01:13:43 that they're on the rock. Was he singing this to his girlfriend, though? Tell me something. No, but obviously there's been tons of speculation that there's something going on with Bradley and Lady Gaga because... She said there hasn't been. I know.
Starting point is 01:13:55 I know, but people are like, but the connection when they performed and they were like, well, obviously we wanted you to feel that connection. So my friend that's in charge of putting movies in a movie theater in a small town so she talks to like Warner Brothers and the different people, she said when they got
Starting point is 01:14:10 a star is born, that there was specific instructions to play the movie louder than the normal movies because they wanted people to like feel all the emotion. And she said that they did it. And then when she did the trial run with it louder, she felt it more. Like there was something about the sound and you like getting more into the movie. Well, then I think we talked to our company about turning our show up louder on radio. I know, right? Where people just turn it and we're like, no!
Starting point is 01:14:37 Well, there is something more powerful about it. But yeah, there was specific instructions. Play this movie louder. So they're breaking up. That's what they say. Hanging on by a thread was the headline. There's probably some truth to that because tabloids don't lie. No, never.
Starting point is 01:14:56 Never. I do love shallow that song, though. It is so good. Again, I think country radio missed by not playing it. That's a country song. The whole story, the movie's about a country artist. That's a country song. But again, people get in their ways.
Starting point is 01:15:08 I think I'll play it now, as a matter of fact. Are you done with the pile, Amy? I'm Amy. That's my pile. Bobby Boom, come on. I do another show other than this one called The Bobbycast. A lot of songwriters and artists. They come by and we talk about long form, a lot of things. And Caroline Hobby came by who has a great podcast called Get Real.
Starting point is 01:15:27 And she was in Stealing Angels. And she talks about getting a record deal and then losing the record deal. She talks about going on the Amazing Race twice. And she was like, we ran all the time. And the camera guys had to run all the time too. If you just run always, anytime that you're not sitting on an airplane or in a cab, you're running. And what about the photographer, though? The camera guy, they're running too?
Starting point is 01:15:47 Yeah, the camera guys are in great shape. I guess they have to be, huh? Yes. Because they can't miss. No. They ever fall? You ever seen fall with the camera? Yes.
Starting point is 01:15:54 Really? Yeah. That sucks and it's funny. Yeah. Yeah. And the camera guy would be the one that would pay for the, when they get to the airport and they have to run up and buy it, the camera guys, the one with the credit card that would buy it. Oh.
Starting point is 01:16:04 Except you don't know from the show. Yeah. And she talks about not knowing lunchbox, but lunchbox is like a camera tour with the airport. Like is a super fan? I was a stalker, dude. I was, yeah. He was freaking out. Lunchbox was like a big fan of Amazing Race.
Starting point is 01:16:18 And he like came towards me in the airport and wanted to like hang out and talk because he loved Amazing Race so much. We're like, what is this Doug funny looking dude? Yeah, I saw him running today. You saw him running? Yeah, he ran right by my house. I was like, lunchbox. That guy wears no headphones when he runs. It's amazing.
Starting point is 01:16:34 He was like, hey. Yeah, he runs with nothing. And fast. He's pretty fast. Yeah, he's a really good runner. Yeah. Do you run with a shirt off? Sometimes when it's hot enough.
Starting point is 01:16:43 It wasn't hot enough that day to run with no shirt on. Well, check out the Get Real podcast with Carolina. Oh, no, this is my podcast, isn't it? Yes. Bobby cast. Yeah, but yeah, I put her on to promote it, but she's also a really good guest. Yeah, check out the newest Bobbycast. And then it turns, because we know each other, it turned into a, like her, like being like, eh, what?
Starting point is 01:17:03 About what? Me. She's like, tell me what do you want in your life. What's your goal? You know, it's one of those. Are you like wanting someone forever or is it just like you're a seasonal dater? Like you want someone for a season? No.
Starting point is 01:17:14 I don't think if they're great. You're ready. You're going to the distance. I'm ready to start investing in long term. And if it turns out it's a stealing angels and I got to move on. Yeah. What that meant is they had to split and just go away. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:17:27 Anyway, check it out. The newest Bobby cast with Caroline Hobby. It's a really fantastic episode. Check it out today after this show. Tell me something good. Oracle Edition. Lunchbox. The year of 2014.
Starting point is 01:17:40 There's a party going on the night before a pro golf event and the director of the tournament, Steve John, walking around the room and joins some appetizers, grabs a piece of cheese, starts eating it. Uh-oh, it gets lodged in his throat. Oh, no. He's choking. Oh, no.
Starting point is 01:17:55 He's like, oh, no. An 83-year-old man notices the distress, goes over, Hewoh, gives him the Heimlich and saves his life. And you're wondering, who is that 83-year-old man with that? Who is that 83-year-old man with a Heimlet? His name is one Clint. Eastwood. Oh, wow.
Starting point is 01:18:14 Stop it. Stop it. He just happened to be at the party, and he said, I saw him in distress, and I stepped in, saved his life. There it is. Historical Edition. Tell me something good for 2014. That was Tell Me Something Good.

Owning a home comes with a lot of things nobody really prepares you for, including yard care. Sunday is a company trying to make that part easier. They start with a soil test and climate data to build a yard plant tailor to where you live,
Starting point is 01:21:37 then ship everything directly to your door. No guesswork, no dragging bags of fertilizer. And instead of harsh chemicals, Sunday uses simple, nutrient-dense ingredients like seaweed, molasses, and iron. Everything hooks up to a hose, which honestly sounds like my speed. If your yard feels more stressful than satisfying, Sunday's approach makes a lot of sense. Go to get sunday.com to get your free custom yard analysis.
Starting point is 01:22:04 That's get sunday.com. This is the Bobby Monson. All right, so we're about to play your new song. Prove you wrong. Thank you. And whenever I saw it come on a piece of paper, and I hadn't heard it yet, I just saw that you had.
Starting point is 01:22:18 It was you and Stevie Nix and Merrim Morris. Right. And so tell me about how you were able to recruit those two and why you recruited those two. I've known Stevie for a long time, so had this song that was right in her wheelhouse and called her. And so we recorded with her and I brought it into Scott
Starting point is 01:22:37 and I'd been working a little bit with Mirren Morris and he said, man, what would really be the bomb is to pay it forward and see if Mirren wants this thing on it. So I called Mirren. I said, I have this song. Stevie Nix is on it and she's like, yes. And so we recorded with Marin.
Starting point is 01:22:54 And it's cool because I think she's really, she's the future of rock chicks like us, you know, the ones that write their own songs and that play an instrument and that go out and hang with the guys. They're tough. They're sexy. And they're kind of manning their own ship.
Starting point is 01:23:10 So it just seemed logical. And that's how it came together. And then here, I always wonder, like, when you call Stevie Nix, but she's a friend, huh? She's a friend. Do you guys just sit around? You can't freaking believe that. I mean, I was about to say that's got to be crazy, but I bet Stevie Nix goes, isn't it crazy that Cheryl Crow is my friend? I don't know if she does that or not.
Starting point is 01:23:28 She's got a lot of cool friends. But I'm the total geeky kid that had the shag haircut and the shawls. and the platform shoes and was like, I want to be a witch. So when I met her, it's been 25 years ago at a Grammy, she's like, we should work together. And I was basically like, yes, ma'am, we should work together. And we've just been good friends ever since. And now Marin gets to do that and be like, holy crap, yes, ma'am, we get to work together.
Starting point is 01:23:53 I'm telling you, these young kids seem so much more together than I was. I mean, I still geek out around people like Stevie Nix and Keith Richards and Eric Clapton, I mean, my heroes. And they seem just cool as cucumbers. She's just so together, so much more than I was. But I love her, just rehearsed with her yesterday for the show, and she's got a great future. Thank you for stopping by.
Starting point is 01:24:22 Bobby, thanks for having me. And thanks for tweeting me sometimes. I see it. I'm telling you, I'm all about it. You lift me up, man. You lift me up. Thank you. Cheryl Crowe said I lifted her up.
Starting point is 01:24:30 That's pretty good. Folks, it's your buddy and my. Mr. Bobby Bones. Let's go. Transmitting across America. You know, Lunchbox went to the bank to ask about his deposit error. Did you know that, Amy? No, I didn't.
Starting point is 01:24:51 Yeah, well, find out what they said coming up in a second. If you've been following that story, we have an update for you in just a minute. Over now to Amy with the Morning Corny. A morning corny! What do you call a fairy that never takes a bath? What do you call a fairy that never takes a bath? Stinkerbell Oh wow
Starting point is 01:25:13 Look at that That's pretty funny I was going to say Dirty Fairy Like dirty hairy That would be Amy's much better The Stinkerbell is fun
Starting point is 01:25:22 Stinkerbell's pretty fun Yeah Amy Thank you That was the morning corny Bobby boom Let's walk through this a bit Lunchbox So one day you go to deposit
Starting point is 01:25:35 A check into the ATM Yeah I had two checks And I went to the ATM It was $360 worth of checks I put them in the ATM and it said, Would you like to complete your deposit of $1,060? Now, which I would have said, no, there's been an error here. I would not like to cancel and start over.
Starting point is 01:25:57 But that's not what you did. No, I hit, yes, because that's a free $700. And I was like, someone is looking out for me because sometimes the bank makes mistakes and you win. So in your mind, maybe Jesus was going, have an extra $700. You've been a nice dude lately. Like, you've been doing good things in this world. So I'm going to go ahead and reward you with $700 extra dollars. And I said, thank you, ATM gods.
Starting point is 01:26:24 Oh, wow. So, okay, so then you decide you better spend that money quickly because the bank's never going to come back for it. Right. I got to, you know, I got to get rid of that money. So if the bank does try to come back, money's gone. Sorry. So I went home, immediately told the wife about it, and I booked plane tickets to Las Vegas. And then you went last weekend.
Starting point is 01:26:43 We went last weekend. Like two weekends ago. Yeah, two weekends ago. We're staying at Caesar's Palace, feeling like king and queen of the world, walking around Caesar's palace. Like, hey, guys, we're here. Thanks to the bank. They paid for this trip. And the only problem is every time I walked by the Julius Caesar statue, I felt like he was judging me a little bit.
Starting point is 01:27:01 Because he's a noble man. And so I was like, we get back from the vacation. The vacation's over. So now I'm in the clear, right? but I just I felt like I needed to go by the bank and see what their policy is on if you get extra money
Starting point is 01:27:17 when you deposit. So, I didn't admit that it happened to me. I told them that it's a hypothetical. Okay, let's hear what happens as lunchbox goes to the bank. I got a hypothetical question for you. Let's say I made a deposit in the ATM and it gave me too much money like credit. What happens? Do I get to keep that money?
Starting point is 01:27:35 That's not really your money. So you will correct it. But what if I spent that money? Hypothetically. It's not your money, so you would get hit with a fine. Oh. Okay. Thank you.
Starting point is 01:27:49 He's gone. Yeah, and I didn't go inside so they wouldn't know who I was. I went to the drive-thru just because I was like, I don't want them to associate that with my account and know who I am, facial recognition, whatever technology they got in the bank. But then I peeled out of there. Did you wear a mask? Oh, can you imagine? We've already been through that.
Starting point is 01:28:07 And he went to jail. No, no. We don't do that. We don't do that anymore. We don't do that. We didn't learn our lesson. Yeah, we learned a lesson on that one. So this is like you told me I'm going to be fined? So they're going to get the money back plus take more?
Starting point is 01:28:17 That's what she said. But nothing's happened yet. Nothing happened yet. But that was all hypothetical, so, I mean, they don't really need to do that. Should we say what the bank is that loud here? No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. We do not talk about what banking institution I use. Absolutely not.
Starting point is 01:28:31 Are you a little nervous now? Yep, a little bit. A little bit. When she said I'd be fined, I'm like, ooh. You may be in the hole for more. Because what would happen was you took the money that would have been generating interest for them. They would have been able to use that money. That's how banks work.
Starting point is 01:28:44 They take the money and they invested in things. Really? They don't just sit with a bunch of money. Oh. Whatever. But yeah, she's got me a little worried, so I'm a little nervous now. Amy, your thoughts. I mean, it's not your money, period.
Starting point is 01:28:56 Yeah. You should be fine. 100%. You should be fine. But I just want to say thank you to the bank because we had an awesome vacation. We had so much fun. Thank you. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:29:07 Have a fun music game for you. Playing in your cars or on your phones. I'll play you the saxophone version of a country song. Just name the song. Okay. We'll go around. Don't miss it. If you miss it, you're out.
Starting point is 01:29:20 Here's the example, though. So it's all saxophone. You familiar what that sounds like that game? Yeah. My husband played sax. What's this? Example. It's a little not sex.
Starting point is 01:29:36 Yeah. All right, you guys have that works? So soothing. the old town road I'm gonna ride till I can't no more I'm gonna take my horse to the old town road I'm gonna ride till I can't no more I got the horses in the all right there you go are you ready ready all right Amy name the song by the saxophone playing hand me that saxophone please all oh you're gonna play the yeah I'm gonna play them all here we go Amy what's your answer there what is that song on saxophone
Starting point is 01:30:35 Brett Young? Never gonna bring my heart. Just break it? Oh, I'm sorry, it's mercy. If you're gonna break my heart, just break it. I'm gonna take your shot, then take it. Sorry, you've been eliminated. Already?
Starting point is 01:30:56 Yep, one and done. Just like that. Just like that. Lunchbox. Here you go. Yeah. Name the song by the saxophone. Is that familiar?
Starting point is 01:31:21 Nope. Amy did this one? Yeah, 100%. That ain't enough? I know it. Morgan number two, you know this one? Oh, yeah. All right. What's why does that?
Starting point is 01:31:35 Girl crush. Girl crush. That is incorrect. Everybody else want to yell on the kind of three. One, two, three. Shallow! Never seen that movie. Basically for the win.
Starting point is 01:31:54 All right, come on. All you have to do is nail this one. On saxophone, name it. Beautiful jam. Oh, yeah? What is that one? That's a wagon wheel. Like a wagon wheel.
Starting point is 01:32:30 Rock me, Mama, any way you feel. Hey. That was an easy game. Can you name this one? Anybody. Here we go. Yeah. Simple.
Starting point is 01:32:51 Ring of fire. Yeah, simple. Florida's your line. It's just that simple as I. And really simple as can be. It's just that simple as I. Hey, Morgan, number two, you don't get to play games. Let's see if you can name this one.
Starting point is 01:33:04 On saxophone. Are you ready? I'm ready. All right. Name this hit. Go ahead. Go ahead. I have no idea.
Starting point is 01:33:42 Nothing, no. Florida Georgia Line meant to be. No, I'm sorry. Eddie Amy, one, two, three. Somewhere on a beach. Somewhere on a beach. Eddie, you are the winner. All you do is win.
Starting point is 01:33:54 All you do is win games. Wow. I'll say what I'm out. I want to strike him. And there's a big winner. Play us out with a saxophone version of Thomas Red. It's 100.1. It's your cool guy, Johnny Coolness.
Starting point is 01:34:26 Playing you all the sax hits late at night as you get your sax on. Haven't had sax lately? Well, I'm here for you. I'm just a sax machine. That's sex. Now that's sexy At number three on the Sacks lines
Starting point is 01:34:52 It's the Sacks Funn version A Little Big Town They've all had some sacks You never knows That's that's with who That's not of our business How much? Muchbox you've been married for how long?
Starting point is 01:35:26 Four years You've been together for how long? Six and a half years, seven years I don't know You always tell us how you wear the pants I don't know that we believe he wears the pants Yes, we do. No.
Starting point is 01:35:37 No. No. I really. Hold on. I'm like, yes, we do. It's probably pretty even, right? Hopefully, that's how relationship should be. And so your wife has told you to stop doing what?
Starting point is 01:35:48 She wants me to stop riding those electric scooters that are all around town because I posted a video on my Instagram story or whatever and she saw it. And when she got home that night, she was like, listen, you have a son now and a family that relies on you. and those things are super dangerous, and I think you really need to stop riding those because you're going to get hit by a car or something bad's going to happen to you,
Starting point is 01:36:12 and you can't do that. You have to start making smarter decisions because you have a family. You're basically like the Patriots when they tell Tom Brady stop riding a motorcycle. I mean, kind of, yes, if you want to put it that way because people do say I'm a lot like Tom Brady.
Starting point is 01:36:26 Okay. So, I just, I mean, I'm like, it's just like a little, it's like riding a bike. No. It goes a little faster It does go 20 miles an hour It's awesome I've never been on one
Starting point is 01:36:38 Because I'm afraid I'll get hurt Dude is so fun Like you are flying down the road And you are just So what did you tell your wife I told her look You can't That's how you said it look
Starting point is 01:36:48 I said look You sit down Oh What? You told her to sit down Yeah because she was standing up When she was telling me this I was sitting on the couch
Starting point is 01:36:55 I said look Just because we have a kid Doesn't mean we have to stop living You still have to enjoy life and get out there and do fun things. If we stop doing fun things, we become old and boring. Riding a scooter every once in a while, I mean, that gives me life. Oh, and what does she say?
Starting point is 01:37:14 I'd really like you to stop riding the scooters. And then what did you say? I said, okay. Wow. There you go. Now, that's the real lunchbox coming out. Man. That's not the I wear the pants lunchbox.
Starting point is 01:37:26 That's that we had an honest conversation and we're going to compromise. Guys, really, you just don't have to post videos of you riding this. Oh, we're just going to keep right now. Yeah. Oh, okay. Come on. My time now for. Baby Box Update.
Starting point is 01:37:38 All right. How old's the baby? He is 10 and a half months. And then what's new with the baby? Right now we are suffering from double ear infection. We, it's crazy. I don't know how you get an ear infection. I guess just kids get them.
Starting point is 01:37:52 But he seems to have an ear infection every other week. Like he got off the medicine three days later. Double ear infection. Snot coming out his nose. It's really annoying. And he's real fussy and not. cry all the time because of that? Yes. Can you get that from him? No. It's all about the kid. I don't know how they get him, but, and it doesn't really bother. And when you lay him down to sleep,
Starting point is 01:38:11 I guess the pressure really gets to him. And so I have his mattress like a slope. I put blankets under it, so it's sloped. It's like he's sleeping on the side of a hill. But he sleeps like that? Yep. But then, but not when you first put him down. It hurts his head and you got to like try to calm him down. Hey, just go to sleep. And you turn on the little, I don't know what he calls. call him a gondola that has little animals on him. It makes noise and it... A gondola is the boat that you get in and go down. Like in Italy?
Starting point is 01:38:39 Yeah, that's like... Or like, they put one in Vegas too. Shoot, what is that thing called? You know what I'm talking about? It has a little... The babies love it because the animals are hanging up. Yeah, yeah. What's that called?
Starting point is 01:38:50 I don't know. No, it's not a gondola. But yes, and here's a cool thing. At daycare, he is the oldest kid in his class. He's the big kid. Because they get moved out at one year, so he's the biggest one in there. He rules the class.
Starting point is 01:39:04 Is he a bully? Yeah, I mean. A mobile. Mobile. Mobile. There we go. Wait, do you want him to be a bully? Did you Google that?
Starting point is 01:39:12 Well, I just want him to not get picked on. I want him to let them know, hey, you know what I mean? I'm bad. But they're all like babies, right? They're all under one. Are they even, do they walk? No, they don't walk. They just kind of crawl.
Starting point is 01:39:25 Yeah. Yeah, but he crawls up. Like, some of them can't crawl. Some of them just sit there. And so he can crawl up to him and he starts shaking their. little rockers. And you like that. I think it's pretty fun. He's like, hey, what up, dude? I can move and you can't. There you go. And that's your
Starting point is 01:39:38 Baby Box Update. Baby Box Update. All right. Well, thank you, Lunchbox, for that. It's a Bobby Bones show. Hear your biggest three songs in country music. At number three, Kelsey Ballerini. You miss me more.
Starting point is 01:40:06 At number two, Kane Brown. Good as you. And this song comes on. It's one of those that I still turn up whenever it comes on the radio. I want to wake up every day here in this bed. And number one, whiskey glasses. I'm going to need some whiskey glasses because I don't want to say the truth. Your biggest top 40 song, and this is a jam too.
Starting point is 01:40:28 Is that Jonas Brothers song? I'm a sucker for you. I'm a sucker for you. Jam, right? Yes. Such a jam. The historical edition. I know we've spent a lot of this talking about old presidents and people in history, history.
Starting point is 01:40:47 But the year is 2003. Kianu Reeves, who I call America's most beloved actor, gave approximately $10 million of his $35 million earnings from the Matrix sequels to the special effects and makeup staff. He reportedly did so to allow producers the flexibility for a big special effects budget because they wouldn't be able to bring those people on, the movies wouldn't have been as good. So he's like, hey, let me just give you $10 million out of my money so we can make the movies better so you can pay the people.
Starting point is 01:41:17 better so they can do a better job. He felt that men and women who created the effects and costumes were the real heroes of the movie. Keanu Reeves, everyone. Is he really that amazing? America's most beloved actor. Morgan Number 2 sent me a video of him training for John Wick 3. Pretty crazy, huh?
Starting point is 01:41:34 It's so crazy. Like all the martial arts training he did. He sounds amazing. America's most beloved actor, Keanu Reeves. He's becoming that for me. Also, I don't know Morgan number 2 was into, like, older men. She's oddly into, like, Sylvester Stallone. Amy?
Starting point is 01:41:48 Really? Yeah. She's like, yeah. He's like he's 70. Where did she say, quote? I think he's very good looking. He's 72 years old. There you have it.
Starting point is 01:41:58 Keanu Reeves here. Tell me something good. Historic All edition. Thank you all. Folks, it's your buddy and mine. Mr. Bobby bones. Let's go. Transmitting across America.
Starting point is 01:42:19 Our audio guy, Raymondo, is trying to be kind of a big star around here. And now they have him out doing events. And he's out at Bass Pro Shops. Wow. And he's like, come to Bass Pro Shops. Come meet me. Yeah, like Ray Mundo from the Bobby Bone Show. Ray Mundo from the Bobby Bone Show.
Starting point is 01:42:32 Yeah. And that's how people know him. That's why they have them out there. For sure. Except they're like, hey, say who you are at the start of the remote. Here's what he says. What's up, you guys? It's Sizzing Ray Mundo from the hit song Vacation.
Starting point is 01:42:43 I'm here at Bass Pro Shop. We're giving away. CMA Fest tickets. So he's not Ray Mundo from the Bobby Bone Show. First of all, he's sizened Raymundo, which is, His screen name on Instagram. And what does that even mean? It's the season.
Starting point is 01:42:55 Okay. What's up, you guys? It's Susan Raimundo from the hit song Vacation. So now he's from the hit song Vacation, not even from the Bobby Bone Show. Are you down for a Bay, Bay, Bay, Vacation. Is his rap part in this? So Raymundo had a hand in writing this song, and he does one little rap part, and now he thinks everybody knows him from this one song.
Starting point is 01:43:16 Clearly. Here we go. There he is. That was him doing Hey. There he go. Get that promo from Instagram. Imagine these noodles are a catamaran and just flow. Go with the flow.
Starting point is 01:43:29 They call me by the bones. Isn't right, Moondo. Muno. So you think that's your claim to fame? Well, and I was trying to tie it all in. It's CMA week. It's country music. They kind of wanted to pitch me as a country musician.
Starting point is 01:43:43 No, they did it. No, they did it. No, they did it. Nobody's trying to pitch you as a musician. I don't know. They said that. They go, hey, we're doing CMA Fest tickets. Why don't you just say you're the artist from me?
Starting point is 01:43:52 That was their suggestion. Who is they? Kathy, the sales lady told me to maybe do that. If I pull her in here. And Brandon, Brandon, the guy at Bass Pro Shops. Okay. You're just making it up. No, I'm not making up the Brandon party.
Starting point is 01:44:03 He goes, she told me to maybe do that. He's like, Willie, Willie. He's Willie. He's working there. He doesn't work there anymore. Yeah, and they had me recording it in front of a waterfall. I was trying to, because I'm an audio guy. I said, let's go in a quieter area.
Starting point is 01:44:12 You can barely hear it. Okay, now you're just changing the other. No, it was Bass Pro Shop. They have a huge, with fish and everything, bear reaching over? I've been there. Yeah, yeah. Okay. There he is. Ray Mundo.
Starting point is 01:44:23 Not known from this show, but known for the hit song, Vacation. That's good. I'm glad you're out doing stuff. You do a good job. Yeah, thank you. Tracy Morgan got a Bugatti, which is a very expensive car. About a $2 million car. By the way, I don't know what could be in a car that makes it worth $2 million
Starting point is 01:44:42 except for like $1.9 million, like in the trunk. Like, here's your $2 million car and you open it up, and there's just a bunch of cash in the back of the car. I don't know what happens to make a car worth that much money. He bought it, pulled it off the lot, 15 minutes from driving it to his house, he got sideswipped. Oh, my goodness. And the problem is, is that not that you can't fix it,
Starting point is 01:45:05 but because these are, I wouldn't say one of a kind, but few of a kind. Like, if you look at the Carfax on a Bugatti, like the fact that it's had to be redone, takes the value way down. The crash is just three days shy of his fifth anniversary whenever he got into that big crash with the Walmart truck. Oh, yeah. And they say him in like 50, 60, 70 million bucks from that, but he almost died.
Starting point is 01:45:28 He bought a car, 15 minutes, it's right, coming off the lot. Do you know how much it cost to change oil on Bugatti? I'm going to imagine it's a lot by that. $20,000. What? To change the oil? To change the oil? No way.
Starting point is 01:45:40 Yeah. Wait, who changes the oil? Is it Russell Crow? Because it needs, it better be somebody. Like, that'd better be a whole production. Like, they better do wicked live than chains the oil. That's crazy. Like, do you know that going into it when you buy it?
Starting point is 01:45:55 Because that's going to be quite the shock if you're like, oh, I can't afford that. I have just the right amount of money for the car. I've been saving up. Honey, we can finally afford that $2 million boo God. You've been worried. And, oh, my goodness. An air vent. Five grand.
Starting point is 01:46:10 Yeah. Yeah, it must be a car that money's not a thing. Right. It can't be. Like, they're like, if you have to worry about the people, price and that's what the price is, you can't afford it. And so, yeah, that's the deal. That's a $2 million car, which is pretty amazing that something would cost that much. Yeah. I just don't know what would happen to make it cost that much. What's I made of?
Starting point is 01:46:33 It's got to have like... Diamonds? Like lamb skin seeds. Oh, lamb skin. I was reading this story about how you go to the doctor and doctors might soon be giving out prescriptions for fruits and vegetables. instead of medicine. If I go into a doctor and he's like, you need to take two kale and come in the morning. I'm not going back to that doctor. Why? I can go to you and get the kale prescription.
Starting point is 01:46:57 Okay. Doctors might soon be giving out a prescription. Fruits and vegetables to lower a patient's risk in a lot of stuff, and they go down it. I think that's great. Why do you need a prescription, though? I go over and basically. Because I think people will take it more seriously.
Starting point is 01:47:10 In a new study, public health experts found that healthy food prescription, which will be covered by health insurance. I guess that would be the thing. So you could go to the grocery store and they're... You take your card? I'll take seven tomatoes. Stuff you're supposed to be buying anyways. Sorry, your prescription only says six.
Starting point is 01:47:27 Pass over your card. Yeah, I read that today. I thought that was interesting. I like it. Do you? I do. I like when doctors, I'm all about medicine too, but sometimes like MDs,
Starting point is 01:47:38 if they have like a holistic approach along with their medicine. Like if they know that food can help you, if they take a look at your diet and they're like, Huh, your blood pressure is really high, but you're eating this, this, and this. How about we shift your diet a little bit and maybe you don't have to be on the meds? I can fill that a little bit. I think there's a difference, a nice. Balance.
Starting point is 01:47:58 Eastern medicine and Western medicine. I don't think you have to go fully one or the other. When people are like, you know what, I'm really suffering. I have horrible stomach problems. I'm just going to sniff a candle. I'm like, that's not going to work. They're like, no, but in China, in the year, 1 ID, they did that. in it. That's not a thing.
Starting point is 01:48:17 Right. I agree. But if you want to sniff a candle while you're having some extra strength, pepto, now we're talking. Like I just think people go, I'm total organic, what do you call it, hypogynic? What, holistic? Thank you. If you total that, you don't have to be that.
Starting point is 01:48:35 You can be a combination of both. And there's a lot of doctors that are now incorporating that into their practice, which sounds like maybe that's what this is about. People were saying you need to do acupuncture on your neck. I've done acupuncture for injuries. For me, it doesn't work. Does it work with you? I've only done acupuncture before when I was trying to get pregnant.
Starting point is 01:48:52 Where'd you do it? My stomach. Oh. I don't know. That's not where you get pregnant. Maybe you should have had them. That's where they put around my ovaries, maybe. They were trying to be like, mm, ovaries.
Starting point is 01:49:04 I don't know. But I did do dry needling last night, which basically is sticking needles in your neck. You're hurt. It's crazy. Your neck is just fried. You can't even move your head. Speaking of doctors, you tell me what you think about this. This dad gets kicked out of the delivery room.
Starting point is 01:49:20 Did you see the story? No. Let me tell you, he made a couple of jokes and they kicked him out. Of a living room? No, a delivery room. Oh, delivery room. I was like his own family. Yeah, a guy was in, it was the birth of his first child, and the nurse kicked him out because
Starting point is 01:49:35 of a few jokes that he made. And he's like, let me read these jokes. And he puts them out there and says, should I have been kicked out? It's not like going to the airport and making a bomb joke. Right. But you can't do that. Obviously. Yeah, well, you have.
Starting point is 01:49:49 No. I think I was reading. Reciting a Time magazine article at terrorists. The headline. Right in the middle of the airport. I was like, oh my gosh, this terrorist blew this thing up. Can you all believe it? And we're sitting in the middle of the airport.
Starting point is 01:50:00 She's like yelling it across the room. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Okay, so this dad who says, quote, the joyless hag of a nurse didn't like his material. Him and his wife apparently have the same sense of humor. Okay. And they're in? and he was like, hey, I made harmless jokes. And so the nurse says, hey, okay, do you see talking to the husband?
Starting point is 01:50:20 It's funny. Do you have the jokes? I do. Okay. This is what he said. It's funny. So the baby's coming out of her hoo-ha, right? And they're looking down, and she's like, okay, do you see it?
Starting point is 01:50:32 Like, how does it look? And he goes, I feel like I'm watching my favorite restaurant burn down. Dang, that's funny. That's funny, though. Okay. Do you get it, though? Uh-huh. Yes, I get it.
Starting point is 01:50:42 And so she was upset by that comment. But was the wife? Well, he says him and the wife had the same sense of humor. Right. But get it. It's like his favorite. Sure. Okay, cool.
Starting point is 01:50:52 Oh, my gosh. So his wife punched him in the arm for that, and the nurse rolled her eyes and left the room. This is the first one. Now, after their son was born, the doctor said the mom, when you have a baby, sometimes things like tear. Yes. Right, when a baby. So, I guess, I, Now I'd never seen a birth.
Starting point is 01:51:11 They have to use staples. Yes. And he's like, hey, would you mind putting a few extra in there if you used extra staples? And that's when they kicked them out. They're like, enough's enough. She's like, sir, you have to leave the room. Those aren't that bad, though. I thought so.
Starting point is 01:51:26 And it's their sense of humor. And it's their space. They're paying to be in there. Would you put a couple extra? I read those and thought that were genuinely funny. Not even just something to get offended at. Here's the thing about being offended. right? Like don't. Just don't be offended. Whatever it is. If you're not hurting anybody and you don't like it, just turn your ears off. Don't listen. Don't let it get into your system. If you can change it, change the channel. If you can, whatever it is it offends you, just get away from it. No need to complain. No need to get on Facebook. No need to get on Instagram. You don't like something. Just move away from it. Go to somewhere that you do like instead of being somewhere that you don't. Everybody's always looking for reasons to be angry. It's an energy sucker.
Starting point is 01:52:08 It's an Yeah Put your energy somewhere That's good for everyone So I thought that pretty funny I mean I was sitting home last night Reading that 1 o'clock in the morning Laugh at my bottom
Starting point is 01:52:20 Part of now I was tired from shooting all night But I thought it was really funny They put out the list of What they're saying is The Best Songs of the Year so far There's only one country song on the list of the top 10 What do you think the one country song is in The best one of the year?
Starting point is 01:52:40 Mm-hmm Yep, old time. Road. Why is I just say that? But are we calling it a country? I am. Nobody else does. All right. Here I can run through some of these. Tell me if you know any of these. Okay. Number five, which you know this one. Ariana Grande, Seven Rings. Of course. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:53:00 Harmony Hall from Vampire Weekend at number four. I don't know that. Old Town Road 3. Billy Elish, Bad Guy. at 2, and this is jam. So you're a tough guy, like you really rough guy. You got to try on this yet? Or just me?
Starting point is 01:53:19 Not yet, just you. And then Suckers, number one. Biggest songs of the year, they say best so far. Do you know that song that comes on the pop station that I like? Is this a sweet bit psycho? Do you know this one? Oh, yes. It's good, huh?
Starting point is 01:53:35 Stascher is obsessed. Oh, she's sweet but a psycho, a little bit psycho. At night she's screaming. Um-a-ma-ma-ma-a-ma-a-oh. It's good. Yeah. Me and all the girls like this one. But I made my list of the top five best country songs of 2019.
Starting point is 01:53:53 Of this, what is today? June 5th. So of this year, here you go. The top five best country songs. At number five, one-man band from Old Dominion. I don't want to be a one-man band. Jam. Jam.
Starting point is 01:54:08 So good. So good. At number four Speechless Dan and Chey Also a jam Yeah At number three
Starting point is 01:54:23 And it's still climbing the charts It's not a top top five song yet or anything But this Brett Eldridge love someone Oh yeah, so good It's so good It's when I wake up in the middle of the night Love someone When you laugh at the way I've names
Starting point is 01:54:45 That's three. Number two, Kane Brown, good as you. I just want to wake up every day here in this bed. Do you know what my number one is of the year so far? I don't. I'm like trying to think. Oh, you'll know. It says I play it. You'll go, oh yeah, easy choice. Okay. Can you just give me a hint? It's a song that whenever it was written, you were like, how's he getting away with that?
Starting point is 01:55:13 Huh? Uh-huh. I did? Uh-huh. How's he getting away with that? They're like, how's he getting away with that? What do you mean? Well, because he keeps calling her crazy over and over again.
Starting point is 01:55:21 Oh, yeah, yeah, Luke Combs. Yeah. Beautiful. Crazy. Yeah. That's song of the year so far. That's my list. They don't ever give respect to country music. You know, you got to go and be like...
Starting point is 01:55:40 Make your own. Well, you got to go through and sit through all this stuff you never heard of. Like, what is this called, Tatiana? You know this song? Blueface. This is supposed to be one of the best songs Deere? I don't even know what to do this.
Starting point is 01:55:49 Let me hear. Bush down, Tantiana. That's pretty cool. I kind of like it. Yeah. I spoke too soon. I'm kind of feeling that. He just said something.
Starting point is 01:55:57 I like that beat. He was like, Yo, what up? Okay, I'm feeling that. Yeah. Bush down, Tantiana. Yeah, I want to see you bust down. Bus down.
Starting point is 01:56:09 Oh, hey. I want to see you bust down. Pick it up. I break that. Break that. Yeah. It's just be like Morgan and Bertrand. They play this in the club?
Starting point is 01:56:17 Yeah. Oh, yeah. It sounds very like Mace-ish. Excuse me? Mace. You like my 90s reference, but it does to me. Like, I thought that was Mace. Yeah, Mace and Puffy.
Starting point is 01:56:39 Maybe just his voice. Maybe Puffy. That just kind of sound like Puffy a little bit. What's this song? Nah. What's it? What is it? What?
Starting point is 01:56:50 Con Altura. What? What she got here, Bon. Con atrora Rosala featuring El Guincho. What? This is a top song. Yeah, of the year. What I say it plays all of it.
Starting point is 01:57:01 All of it. Say the whole thing. Con Alura, Rosalina, featuring El Wincho. Okay. All right. Spanish, right? Here we go. No, Eddie.
Starting point is 01:57:09 It's not Mace. Here we go. When does Justin Bieber come in? When's the first baby shark? And then here's one more on this big list of the big songs of the year. Big old freak Megan the Stallion. That's an artist's name? Big old freak.
Starting point is 01:57:29 That's my favorite. This is my favorite new artist. I never even heard a song, but she named herself Big Old Freak Megan the Stallion. That's the greatest. That's good. Let's see what she looks like. That's her name, right? Big old freak Megan the Stallion?
Starting point is 01:57:41 Now, Big Old Freaks the song. Megan the Stallion. Well, her name should change her name to big old freak, Megan the Stallion. Hey, big old freak, big old booty, big old tree. Big old freak, big old booty, big old tree? Okay. She's in the trees? She conservationist?
Starting point is 01:57:57 All right. Big old freak. Big booty, big old tree. I'm going to make him wait for the, hey. Feet on the bed. I mess up in the head. Kiss it, then look in his eyes. Then the next day I might leave him on red.
Starting point is 01:58:10 Nah, I know I'm feeling that one so much. I like Tatiana. Push down, Tatiana. Everybody having a good day, cool. Driving to work, cool. Push down, Tatiana. Whatever. That's why country music's awesome.
Starting point is 01:58:21 We actually sing and tell stories. Well, he was telling a story to Tatiana. I think Megan the Stallion was telling some kind of story, too. That big old freak Megan the Stallion. What does leave you on red mean? Booty, booty in my face. Put your booty in my face. Put your booty in my face.
Starting point is 01:58:35 And then put it on the tree. Put your booty on a tree. Put your booty on a tree. But serious question. Does that mean, like, if she's leaving you on red, she's not checking your text message? because she said that. Oh, leaving you on red.
Starting point is 01:58:45 I need to know, so in case I say it, I know what I'm talking about. Booty on a tree. Put your booty on a tree. That's a fun song. I'm going to leave you on red. Leave you on red, but then put your booty on a tree. It might call you back. Put your booty on a tree.
Starting point is 01:58:59 What? Do we sound old right now because we're making fun of music? I don't care. We sound like us. Okay. I know it's fine, but I mean, I don't mind us being us. What's put your booty on a tree mean? I have no idea.
Starting point is 01:59:10 Do you put your booty on a tree at the club? No. It probably is a dance move where you back it on up and like... Oh boy, back. Oh, boy. I'm picturing it being like, yeah, you pop your butt out and like act like you're putting it on the tree. Put it on a tree. Guys, you know what a tree is, right?
Starting point is 01:59:28 No. Put your booty on a tree. I live on a tree. Wait, you do? Let me talk to Allison in South Carolina. Hello, Allison, you're on. Hello. Thank you for all.
Starting point is 01:59:42 Thanks. I just wanted to call and say thank you for that Kane Brown and Amy segment. That made me laugh so hard. So thank y'all for being so relatable. I really needed that laugh this morning. I've been having a really tough month. Yeah, there you go. And that was Amy and Kane Brown talking about words that probably shouldn't say anymore, like lit and fire. No, the Graham. No, Olive. I have it all right here. Oh, yeah. The Graham is what really got me. Okay, well. You manage your Graham. Yeah.
Starting point is 02:00:15 I mean. Is that another cool lingo word? Yes, Cain. It is. You don't call it the gram? Like, I came by a nut with your booty on tree? He's like, no. All right.
Starting point is 02:00:29 But now you can be like, I'm going to put you on red. I'm confident that's what that means. Google it. Okay. Hey, Allison, thank you for the call. Thank you. Have a good day. Appreciate you being part of it.
Starting point is 02:00:40 of the show. Huffing end of the CMT Awards tonight. Lunchbox was talking to Keith Urban. How'd that go? Oh, man. It was maybe one of my best interviews. We had so much fun. I forgot to promote his music, but, I mean, we talked about a lot in life.
Starting point is 02:00:55 Here is Keith Urban and Lunchbox. And Lunchbox asks him, what's the worst part about being famous? Right. What's the worst part about being super famous? I think if you're dissatisfied with something, like, at a restaurant, anywhere, anywhere, like a hotel, a restaurant or anything, And you're just a customer saying, hey, this is not good. They mean like, oh, oh, you know what I mean? It's like, no, I'm just a dude.
Starting point is 02:01:19 I'm not, you know, so you can't, you can't do it. You can't complain about anything. Like you get bad service, you get cold food. If you say, oh, Keith Urban, the food's not good enough for Keith Urban. Yeah. Good. Look at that. Yeah, did he smell good at lunchbox or no.
Starting point is 02:01:33 I have no idea. Oh, my gosh. He always smells good. Of course he did. Like right now I can smell anything like. Yeah, I know. Just playing that clip. I'm like, gosh.
Starting point is 02:01:40 You sound so creepy. I kind of taste them, man. Yes. Here is Keith Durbin talking about people in the movies. Yeah, he's talking about how he likes going to the movie theater, and we just talked about going to the movies. Movies are dead in a few years. Well, he did say they're going to go bankrupt.
Starting point is 02:01:55 Oh, did he? Here you go to. This is lunchbox and Keith Urban. They got up all this assigned seating, right? And I think I see people sitting in our seats. Which is another issue, right? Right? Because I'm not just a ticket holder.
Starting point is 02:02:07 That guy. That annoying guy. Your Keith Urban kicking me out of the seat. I got a move for you, you know. So I went outside, and before I got out there, I saw one of the usher dudes come in, because he saw me walk out of one through and walked in the next one. He's like, oh, that is a guy, right? So he walks in there, and he's like, looking at me.
Starting point is 02:02:25 And, of course, what am I doing? Look at my ticket, looking, seeing people who I think are in my seat. I walk straight out, and he walks in and he goes, can I help you? And I go, yeah, actually you can. I can show my tickets, which is to that movie. I was very happy to have them. And I go, would you do me a favor and see if there's people sitting in these seats? If there is, would you politely ask them to move if that's all right, you know?
Starting point is 02:02:47 And it's like, oh, sure. So I felt happy that I could prove that I bought tickets and grateful that someone else might be able to move someone if they had to be moved. That's really awesome. There you go. Keith every minute the movies. Stars are just like us. I know. Go to the theaters before they all go out of business.
Starting point is 02:03:03 You think they're all going out of business? Ah, yeah. At some point, it's harder and harder. They're going to be Blockbuster 2.0? Maybe. That makes me sad. It's the reason I got the recline of seats in there now. Oh, they're doing anything to hold you.
Starting point is 02:03:15 Anything. It's just not a good environment. I go to the movie, it's like a playground. Everybody's just running around, looking at their phones. Some people are naked. Oh, really? Yeah, well, it was me. Where are you going?
Starting point is 02:03:26 No, it was just a movie were you watching? I just get really comfortable. I take off my pants. I'm like, I want this to be like the at-home experience. But yeah, I went to watch John Wick 3. It just wasn't a pleasurable experience. Everybody just talks. Everybody thinks their own little world.
Starting point is 02:03:41 John Wicks not talking. He says a couple words. He's like, do you want to fight? And then they fight for like an hour. And he was like, that was a good fight. Way to go. You haven't seen it yet, though, huh? No, I've only seen John Wick won.
Starting point is 02:03:55 Well, two and three are exactly the same, but all awesome. So yeah, yeah, yeah, everything's good. I wonder if I have time to grab a call? Yes or no? Yes. Raymondo? 25 seconds? All right.
Starting point is 02:04:06 Hello, you have 20 seconds. Hello, Auburn. How are you? Really good. We have 15 seconds. Go. Hey, I just wanted to say thank you to everybody. I'm a 22-year-old electrician, and I make about a two-hour drive to work every morning.
Starting point is 02:04:21 And driving past all the cornfields and everything down here in East Georgia. Thank you very much. Hey! Harrison Ford went skydiving for the first time. He's 76 years old. Wow. Which is pretty cool that he's still doing. and stuff.
Starting point is 02:04:38 Being risky. And 76 now. 76 is the new 71, guys. Yeah. Oh, I know. It's much younger now. But you see like 90-year-olds. You see like George H.W. Bush
Starting point is 02:04:49 jumping out of airplanes. You know, before he passed away, he was old jumping out of airplanes. I jumped at airplane, hated it, never do it again. I might if a girlfriend makes me, I guess. If my girlfriend's like, let's go skydiving, I'm probably like, all right. No problem. Only because you're a love of my life. By the way, I'm totally single.
Starting point is 02:05:07 Yeah, he jumped out He said it was his 18-year-old son's idea Oh, that's cool for him to do Did he do it with his son? Yeah, well, my thing is he's an 18-year-old son He's 76 Dang, Harrison Oh, okay, so he was
Starting point is 02:05:22 58? Yeah. Dang, proppy woppies, man. Just kidding. That's cool. Propy woppies. I just made that up. It's like props?
Starting point is 02:05:30 No, I mean, I get it. Yeah, proppy woppies. I actually get it. See, I try to use that. All right, let's do what's happening today, Amy. I have got, tomorrow, I have got a new podcast that comes out, so I need to finalize that bad boys. I'll be working on that. No, no.
Starting point is 02:05:46 Your question and answers up, though, huh? Yeah, Q&A went up yesterday, and then I've got, I'm going to go maybe have my neck worked on a little bit more. And then I'll be with the kids. They've got swim lessons tonight, and then I'll watch the CMT Awards. Amy cannot move her head still. Her neck is just, I'll be the mom at swim lessons that's like, go kids, but only when they're standing right. Like, if they're swimming up and down the lap, I'm. I don't know that I'll be, let's be honest, they're not that great at swimming so that they don't really do.
Starting point is 02:06:11 So maybe not. Who knows? We're just trying to get them to pass, like, certain amount of lessons to pass to where they can be in the pool at the Y without floaties. And you have to have certain lessons to do that? Yes, you have to pass some tests. And I'm like, okay. Great. What about you?
Starting point is 02:06:26 Well, I go home. I'm going to get a little workout out and probably ride the bike. And then I have CMT awards tonight. Yeah. And because I'm, like, not famous, I have to walk the red car. early. Mm-hmm. Because the least famous you are, the earlier, you have to walk the red carpet.
Starting point is 02:06:40 So basically, as soon as the show is over, I just go over and get on the red carpet and wait for everybody. I get there before the photographers and the reporters. I'm like, all right. I'm here. I feel like now, though, people, like, it used to be like, and who are you? But now people are like, oh, that's Bobby Bones. Like, at least they know.
Starting point is 02:06:54 Like, you're there early, but they know you. I don't know. Nashville, yes. Nashville, yes. Los Angeles? Oh, yeah. They're like, who are you interviewing? I'm like, no, I'm here to.
Starting point is 02:07:04 Remember me, Dancing with Stars, American Idol, Bobby Bones. I'm just not, I don't like red carpets that much. And then nobody cares about me. And I know that, but I don't even mean that like in a whiny way. It's like, it cares. And I say everything here on the show. So, but I'm doing, I have to do that. Get there early.
Starting point is 02:07:19 Got to get dressed, do all that stuff. Hair and makeup. And the makeup, I love, I love makeup. It's great, isn't it? I still have it on from last night. I was going to ask you. Oh, don't I look pretty. And I have my glasses on and have been a hat because it was that late.
Starting point is 02:07:31 But you need to wash your face every night. I don't, because I like to look pretty the next morning. I like to wake out with makeup on and look in the mirror and go, Whoa, sexy. Okay. Yeah, and then give myself a wink, and then slap myself on the booty and go to work. Wow. Hey, cutie.
