Starting point is 00:00:01 And now, the Bonfire with Big J. O'Cerson and Robert Kelly. Bonfire. Action Talk, Series XM-137. Big J. O'Colkerson, Robert Kelly, with you. We're talking funny money with Dean Cook. Funny. Fantastic documentary. He did a great job.
Starting point is 00:00:18 Very very good documentary. But it was, it's weird for me to watch it. It's going to be a good for you to watch because you're there for so much of it and removed from the story. I get it. of ways. Well, listen, he didn't want to pay you. Again. He once again didn't want to pay you. But if you can see, I have a couple timestamps from this documentary that I really enjoyed. That really brought me, I don't know, a lot of happiness. I didn't know coming in because I didn't
Starting point is 00:00:49 assume this would happen. I don't know how deep the fucking strain, not even bad blood, strange blood, I would call it runs. And I found that a little. little bit here. This is a Kevin Hart documentary. This would bum me out. Really? This would bum me out right here. You don't even know this. You didn't see this. I don't know. Close were you watching. We were just listening to it? No, I watched the whole documentary. I don't know how you missed this. Well, well, I mean, it was weird for me to watch. I was there. Yeah. So it's kind of surreal to, I'm remembering things and I'm seeing the, like some of the, I think some of the video footage I took. Oh, maybe. That was me on the can. I mean, I don't know, you know. You know.
Starting point is 00:01:31 It is weird. It is strange. You don't put together, I guess, yeah, huh? Oh, this is weird. Seeing that, seeing old, I haven't had a lot of that, like, where I've seen an old VHS and, like, almost can put myself back in the room because it's such, like, random nights. I don't have a lot of behind-the-scenes footage of me where I'm like, oh, that was a fun night. We were hanging out after this show.
Starting point is 00:01:48 Just stuff of me on stage. But that doesn't take me back to, like, the night. Like, when the black people rule shirt, I'm like, when I watch it, I don't have, like, what a crazy night? I knew they were going to get weird about that shirt. And I knew, you know, I didn't, I have no recollection. of it. I remember a lot of these moments. Yeah. I remember on that show that they did show me on stage. I remember that was in East Boston at the high school. Wait, so you did see these. Well, I saw
Starting point is 00:02:13 me on stage, the part where my pants down. I did see that part? Yeah, but how did you see it yourself? Because what do you mean? You're blurred out completely. I didn't see the blurred part. I just saw me. Did they blur me out? I didn't see that. It's so, is this it? Yeah. Turn it up. What do you mean this comedy on? They turn off the TVs. I'll tell Benny. What? Yeah, I mean, Dell was trying.
Starting point is 00:02:34 Blurred out, Bobby. They blurred me. That's Jay Hall. It was my friend. You got, this is worse than being cabin, dude. You got funny moneyed. Worse than being cabined. The analogy I came out, Bobby was erased from this,
Starting point is 00:02:50 like Michelet was erased from straight out of Compton. You got to make a counter-documentary where it shows Dan Cook beating the shit out of you. When you just come home and beat the surviving thing cook. That's, it's so, it's hilarious. I didn't even see that. You guys are blurred. We're like, that's.
Starting point is 00:03:10 I go, holy shit, that's Bobby. I go, look at his hair. That's me, all right. I had time coded as blur one. Those different colored shirts, that was Dane's idea. Yeah, but don't worry, by the way. Make me sure Al Dube any got in there. Oh, he's Al of Al in the monkey.
Starting point is 00:03:26 Yeah, the leader. He's the leader of the monkeys. He's a leader of the monkeys. Holy shit. That's in East Boston at a high school gig we did for this lady. And I remember that night, yeah. You were allowed to do the old pissing and shitting, sing and dance for the high school? No, it was a comedy show.
Starting point is 00:03:43 Not in the high school. We used their theater to do a comedy show. Oh, you're charged. Okay, I got you. Bobby. Yeah. Why do you think Dane left you out? I mean, just because you haven't been talking in a while?
Starting point is 00:03:54 I mean, you have plenty to. You were right there. I was there the night You know the argument They talked about in the documentary Where his brother was like I'm coming out here And he was like
Starting point is 00:04:05 What the fuck? Like he didn't understand What was happening? Yeah I was there That was thanks That was Thanksgiving Like
Starting point is 00:04:13 Wait when he found that about the money We were yeah Even Dom was like We weren't we there I was like I think we were there Yeah When he called about his money
Starting point is 00:04:21 And found out that it was all Or when his brother Left the message And was like What are you Because That was a good, talk about good documentary making. That was a really good thing to open the documentary with
Starting point is 00:04:32 and then have it come back to was that line of his brother going like, what are you doing? Why are you doing this to me, like blaming Dane for doing something shitty? It was really weird because even in the documentary, he was going to L.A. with $3 million. And I told you, they wouldn't give him the footage, but there is footage of him leaving the Bank of America with $3 million cash.
Starting point is 00:04:56 And he drove it to, cost country to LA. Why? And then he left that message. That's when he wasn't talking to anybody. Wasn't talking to anybody. He didn't answer anybody. He just drove across telling people he was, you know, I don't know what's going on.
Starting point is 00:05:09 But was he going to leave that money and set Dane up to say that Dane, you know what I mean? Was Dane hiding money or something? I probably believe that he was trying to set him up because he went all there. I mean, it said like it was made out from Dane and cash to or he was made out to him. And he forced. Signed at Dane. Signed at Dane and then was taking the money all the way to L.A. For what?
Starting point is 00:05:33 Oh, so he was going to, you think there was a chance he was going to say, Dane's asking me to hide his money, and now he's blaming me for taking it. I think if you watch that, there's a chance that he was going to try to set Dane up to be involved in it. And Dane was trying to, you know, launder his own money through these, do all this stuff. That's what he was going to say. I mean, if you look at the documentary, that's what I got from it. I got you. I got your things.
Starting point is 00:05:55 He said he did. He said he opened up all these, like, businesses. and stuff. And Dan had already been talking to the FBI, and they've been tracking the brother saying, Dane, you might be in danger. He's coming towards you. He's right near you.
Starting point is 00:06:06 Oh, yeah. He's like, I don't know what his plan was in LA. Well, that's the crazy. To me, the crazy thing about him taking his money is that, like, it's a greed level, like you've never seen, the addiction he must have felt to have getting away with it, because if you're dealing with somebody who has,
Starting point is 00:06:24 let's say Dane at his height, 20 million then? Yeah No not then He only had like 10 maybe 15 Okay 10 15 million
Starting point is 00:06:34 You know If you took Three You'd live the rest of your life You skimmed over time Three million dollars That improves your life Greatly for the rest of your life
Starting point is 00:06:45 Probably if you're the brother Well that's if you And Dane probably wouldn't notice that I really think he probably isn't on top It seems like he's very much like me in that regard Where he was just like Let me know when I'm a hundred thousand there
Starting point is 00:06:57 give me a heads up if I become a millionaire You know what I mean? Like I don't think he had Because he made his selling When he went to go buy the house He said he didn't even know And then he said the brother was like Which is the one of the most fucked up parts
Starting point is 00:07:07 Was that after there to me He goes I don't know man This is like my dream house Like do I buy this? And he goes You earned it man You should buy it When he knew he had zero money
Starting point is 00:07:17 That's fucking wild That's a crazy thing to do To go like buddy Of course get this house man You deserve And he had to wait till he Didn't he like come back years later and buy the house?
Starting point is 00:07:28 Like someone else must have bought it in the interim or something because he had to walk. Well, what he did, he just did 23 arenas. And he had all this money and all this things were going right for him. So he had all this money, but he was still living in that La Fontaine. La Fontaine apartment. And he was going to finally buy something, which is, you know, what he wanted to do.
Starting point is 00:07:51 And then all this shit went down. Yeah. It's a tragedy. his, I remember, I was in the car, we were going to a gun range, and he found out his mom had cancer. It humanized the shit out of him, this documentary. I mean, it really made me go.
Starting point is 00:08:03 It's like, fuck, dude, this guy worked hard, and you got to fuck, you know, again, personality, personality, things are personality. But I'm saying, he had a fucking rough deal. We were in the car. I remember, he got that call. His, you understand, Dan and his mom was the closest relationship,
Starting point is 00:08:18 and at the time, it bothered me. Because I never had that relationship with my mom. You know what I mean? But he had this, this really, close relationship with his mom. Like, we got into fights because he'd be like, well, my mom said, I would be like, dude, you're a fucking man. You didn't fucking talk to me about what your mom said.
Starting point is 00:08:34 You know what I mean? Like, his mom really was his best friend. They were close close. You didn't have uncles to molest them. Well, that's true. Yeah. Might have changed things for it. I hate that you say that.
Starting point is 00:08:44 I never got molested, God damn it. But I mean, sure, Bobby, that may be the facts, but that's not funny. Bobby, it certainly isn't, Bobby, it certainly isn't funny if you didn't get molested. as a child. But looking back now, having a kid, like I actually admire his relationship with his mom. Really, I was like, ah, shit. I didn't have it.
Starting point is 00:09:03 I didn't know what that was, but his mom really was invested in Dane, which I think was part of why Daryl got a little fucked up because it was all Dane, Dane. And he had even the shittier dad, right? No, no, no. I don't know his dad. Why the shittier dad?
Starting point is 00:09:20 Because there's two dads. Both dads were a little shit. But Dane seemed at the end, When Dane's dad died, it was affected his life pretty big, so he was cool with his dad. Dane's dad came, got his shit together and came back into his life and was very close with both his parents. And then his dad died got cancer right after that. They both died. His parents were very old, though.
Starting point is 00:09:40 He had old parents, right? They were older parents, yeah. They were a little older. Well, also because Dane's from the second marriage, so even a little bit older there. I was surprised how old his dad was at Dane's height of fame. Like, he was a really old man. He was an older dude. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:09:53 His mom was always really pretty. always showed up looking elegant. She was like a really elegant person. She never, she was always had a shit together. Well, she didn't look anywhere near as old as the dad's, but I mean, like she was, but she was older too. She had them later, I think. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:10:07 Me and you, our moms were teenagers when they had us. Yeah, yeah, 15. Yeah, our mom was just slut-hows. Our mom was a slut hoe at 19. But he held all that happens. So we had all the success. Then that happened. And then his brother,
Starting point is 00:10:21 this stuff with his brother, like, he came out of the fucking wood, like out of, dude, out of nowhere. We have a phone call here. Joe? Why? What's Joe calling for? Who's Joe. De Rosa. Oh, Jesus.
Starting point is 00:10:35 Joey DeRosa on the horn. This can't be good. Is it about Sebastian? No. It is. It is. I just, hi guys. Hi, everybody.
Starting point is 00:10:44 I just posted on Instagram. I'm not on either of the lists for serious. Oh my God, I suck. You're not taking a hit or getting a nice bright future? Oh, fuck. It hurt. Neither. Well, Joe, let me ease your feelings here.
Starting point is 00:11:14 Those lists are meaningless nothings. Those lists don't mean anything. It's an independent website. It's not an internal document. That document doesn't exist. So it's, everyone's passing it around, but it's from some website. Yeah, there's a website that tracks what's played on the stations, just a comparison. That's it.
Starting point is 00:11:30 It's just tracking plays. It's not really, it's not, there's no one, I don't know if they exed anybody out of the, they didn't pull people out of the system. Although yesterday I had a good time saying that every time they remove a comedian from the system, Jacob, our own Jacob has to spacewalk to the satellite and fucking remove them from the system. We got to send Jacob up to space because we don't have enough employees. over here. Hey Joe Joe did you make a video yesterday
Starting point is 00:11:57 did you put your video out? Yep yeah I did I stood in solidarity with everybody Now I want to see Joe Now are you asking Joe Are you is your question here is asking Sebastian Manus Calco To go back after he clearly did so much work
Starting point is 00:12:14 Programming the show intricately with all these certain comics And getting into the others With the help of Pete Correlli With the probably the help of Pete Correale Do you want him to sit back down in that room and go through the months of toiling behavior he had to go through to get to this point? Just to reinstall everybody
Starting point is 00:12:28 because I would guess Sebastian doesn't even know what the fuck is going on still today. I bet his Sebastian's pissed he's wrapped up in this. Sebastian's probably what the fuck are we talking about? What are we doing? Sebastian's going, what was raw dog radio? And who's Liz Mealy?
Starting point is 00:12:45 They still have satellites in space? Who's Liz Mealy? He's down in a room. with one of those little visors on. All right, here we go. It's time to program the week. I'd like to hear two Greg Gerardo's. That's going to nobody that money.
Starting point is 00:13:03 I love Joan Rivers. Joan Rivers. Let's give her 32 spins. Sean Donnelly? Fucking gone. Also, what I mean? I don't know. I don't know. Because she's dead.
Starting point is 00:13:17 Sirius is sending me checks. So there's clearly some oversight. I'm out of the system. But I'm receiving money Like the guy in office space Right You're receiving money because that list isn't a thing Huh?
Starting point is 00:13:29 What's up, Jacobs? On Comedy Central radio He plays on Comedy Central radio, dude All day long All day, every day. All day, every day Only once And then Netflix radio shirt
Starting point is 00:13:38 Soon, I'm sure. Oh yeah, yeah So take your video down Take your video down you pussy You're part of the company You're part of the problem, baby You work for corporate now Yeah, you're with us
Starting point is 00:13:50 I made a very I made a very diplomatic video that I was like they were all going to call me a scab Yeah I don't know The last video you made was Anthony Coombe So you learned your lesson
Starting point is 00:14:02 Dude everybody asked him Sebastian's what makes me laugh the most Sebastian said laugh At a fucking montage Of everyone going like Sebastian Please Get back in that boardroom
Starting point is 00:14:12 And start fighting for these comics I don't know if you heard this But Jono Zillay Needs a fucking spot On the show Okay The guy's trying to stop landscaping It's fucking
Starting point is 00:14:23 It's so goddamn funny I love everybody got Dude soda got caught up too I started laughing his soda He's saying what are you doing He goes I swear he got soda text to me He goes
Starting point is 00:14:31 Oh well when I made the video I thought to Sebastian was programming the channel I go why did you ever think that Why did you ever think that You think talent does work like that Yeah No listen just because LL CoolJ
Starting point is 00:14:42 comes in here and lays out Each individual song Hour by hour every month Eminem's over at shade 45 Every day M&M's like, wait a second. Are we playing too much beat nuts because I'd like to keep the East Coast
Starting point is 00:14:55 West Coast even? Yeah, Kevin Hart's here all the time plugging his stuff in. I swear to God, I think I've heard rappers on Shade 4-5 that have beef with Eminem actively. Yes. You have.
Starting point is 00:15:13 This has nothing. And then by the way, they keep going on this, they go, they're just trying to save money with this decision. They go, and they made a good point. They pay money every time they play whoever it is. It's not saving any money. It's the same if it's John O'Sillay or Joan Rivers, I think.
Starting point is 00:15:27 No, it is. I think the royalty is the same, but the station listening, listenership is different. They just need to come up with a new channel. Yeah. You know. I said the argument should have been that. And well, Christine actually called that. There should be a lobby.
Starting point is 00:15:39 Have a new channel called those guys. Yeah, everybody else. Yeah. I'm like, fight the company. Not famous. I'm making a play to save my career right now. Guys, I was at the towers when they got hit. Yes.
Starting point is 00:15:51 That was 9-11. That was 9-11. That was fucking great, dude. That worked out. Do you want to be the fourth member of Legion of Skanks? Yes, yes. I tell Steve Renazizi so bad. I won't keep pushing the narrative.
Starting point is 00:16:05 I said our intro should be just like a comic book of Steve surfing the rubble while holding two babies and wearing an old lady like a bag like a backpack. A hundred percent. That's how it should be. If there was a show that could do it. If there was a show that could do it. 100% you should do that. Joe, Joe, I love you guys. Joe, I love you, too, but your thing says,
Starting point is 00:16:24 Sirius XM, exclamation point, help. It's a joke. It's a joke. I'm joking. Serious Sebastian. I hope you're sincere as fuck. There's no way. You definitely have sincere moments in this video.
Starting point is 00:16:40 It's nine seconds long. Play it next to soda going. Sebastian, if you're listening, bud. Do better. Do better. Sebastian, you listen out there, bud. There's somebody whose last name is just their initial out there who needs their money. Well, now they're calling on Sebastian to, like, quit.
Starting point is 00:16:56 Yeah. Step, that's the best. Dude, step down. Yeah. Step down. But I also love this. They keep saying this. They go, Sebastian came in.
Starting point is 00:17:03 He bought a channel. Like, how do you think happened? Sebastian gave Sirius X them money. That's what happened. He was the way he goes, I'll do it for 40 million. I'm going to buy a fucking station. I only want the people I like play. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:17:18 father said to me you're gonna be 50 years old and you're not a radio magnet I know the claims that he bought the channel are making me laugh at the home the claims of him even knowing what's going on until yesterday I don't think he's seen any of these videos oh his comments are lighten up though oh absolutely his comments are like they're like Sebastian do better oh well everybody going at Sebastian is yeah yesterday on the show Joe me and Bobby just said that we're the programmers for all comedy here and we go Sebastian's taking the blame for us
Starting point is 00:17:51 I go look Liz Meeley came in here one time Jacob threw her vibe she didn't respond you're out You just fucked yourself right out Mr. Sister Steve Byrne What are you Asian or white? Make up your mind
Starting point is 00:18:07 You're out until you figure it out Ron on Hersberg Free Palestine Bye bye Hirshberg? This is a free Palestine state. Sirius X-M is always historically been free Palestine. We know that.
Starting point is 00:18:20 From the fucking, from the head down. From the mail room up, free Palestine. Thank Christ. I sold my soul and moved to the Manosphere of Austin. Hell yeah, dude. That's right. I'm a Nazi. I love it.
Starting point is 00:18:35 I'll let you get back to your wellness IV. Joe. Depends to take. Do me a favor. Nourish that friendship you have with Tony because you want to be in the documentary later in life. Yeah, yeah. Joe, if you haven't watched,
Starting point is 00:18:51 it's what we're going over right now, Dane Cook's new documentary where he successfully blurred Bobby's face out anywhere he appears in anything that he was in. Go to 15 minutes, 22 seconds in. It's the first blur. They just blur Bobby, and he never says his name. I was whitewashed from his life.
Starting point is 00:19:07 I was a picture. Oh, my God. That's amazing. And Bobby, by the way, By the way, they blur them while he's doing, they were in an improv troupe, Al and the Monkeys. And because Al's in the documentary, the video, the picture shows Al and Dane with their pants pulled down, you know, making silly faces because they're in a sketch and they're boxers. Bobby's shirt's too long, so he looks like he's a woman who just cooked her boyfriend breakfast with no panties on. And he's blurred out, so you can't even see who he is.
Starting point is 00:19:38 It's the greatest thing ever. Oh, that's incredible. Available right on it now. On Amazon Prime or Apple TV. It's available both places. That's awesome. I'm going to go watch it. All right, guys, I love you.
Starting point is 00:19:48 Trump in 2028. All right. That's the Rogans for you. Joe, get back in, Joe. You just made legends. Trump, 28. Guys, four more years, am I right? Guys, let's get him a third term.
Starting point is 00:20:05 We'll see you guys later. Fuck, that's funny as shit. So that's blur one, Bobby. Oh, there's another blur. Oh, you get blurred again. I thought this was the only time I was in it. Oh, no. Three times.
Starting point is 00:20:17 Blur twice. He says your name once. He does. I forget how he puts it. He's like, what's the thing towards the end? He says something, something, Bobby, something, something, something. You know, it's like when I was younger, I forget. But like the blurs are the great.
Starting point is 00:20:30 And then they show you once. Wow. They show you one time. But it was good. It's tour guys and Bobby, so you got, I mean, it looks like your nostrils are crying. One little tear is your fucking. mustache was so thin. Oh, I remember a tourgazer. Oh, look at me. I got...
Starting point is 00:20:45 That's the best one, dude. It looks like, by the way, if you weren't blurred, it looks like they didn't want you in the crew anymore. All the Monkeys will perform a benefit for the Harbourside Community School. On Wednesday, February 5th, along with local comedian Karen Ooch. This is the show... Can you look up Karen Ooch? Karen Ooch was the show we did with our pants down.
Starting point is 00:21:09 We were promoting that show that I got blurred out of. out of out of this but there you go it's almost the point right there like Dane Cook you can't tell he's gonna become
Starting point is 00:21:17 a fucking a nationwide heart throb from that look No he looks like a goofball in that Sort of yeah what are we looking at No that's not her
Starting point is 00:21:27 Karen Uch was East ball She was like 78 when we did this show Oh no There wasn't there wasn't recordings then
Starting point is 00:21:33 I don't even know if she's alive Ooch Is that her Karen O No Karen O's the lead singer The Ye Ye Ye Yee Yes Oh my bad You do Dummy.
Starting point is 00:21:43 Who knows the lead singer the yeah, the yeah, yeah. Every fucking nerd you've ever met in your entire life. What the fuck? I bet you Black, I bet you DJ Lou knew that. I sure do. Absolutely. I got out of going. Yes.
Starting point is 00:21:55 How do you feel now? How do you feel? Left out? No, I feel cool than all three of you losers. No. Says the guy's going to go home and put on tights to watch fucking sweet transvestite. And the guy's unblered right now. What?
Starting point is 00:22:07 He feels unblered. You feel unblered? Bobby, I would never flirt. I feel. blurred. Thank you. I don't like that Lou turned my mic down on that one. How are we cheering up? I have to so we could hear Joe. To get to the third appearance. Oh, yeah. You're good
Starting point is 00:22:22 in the third appearance. You're totally good. That's when we made the papers. You know how big that was? I forgot he was in mystery, man. God, his fucking brother's wife is such a fat pig. Yeah, she's fucking. Buddy, you understand. He went from the other wife and then he showed up. She was ugly too, but she was pretty year. He showed up with... She was like a blonde, right? He showed up with this one, and we're all
Starting point is 00:22:46 like, oh, boy. The other one I actually would have described as... We all were... Everybody in the... Out of the Monkeys went, ugh. Oh, my God, there's not enough room. She doesn't have to come on the bus, does she? Oh, my God. That bus is going to flip over, like, when they put the ribs on the Flintstones car.
Starting point is 00:23:03 She, the first wife was, like, a chubby, cute blonde. Yeah, a little cutish. Yeah, a little cutish blonde. Yeah, this one showed up, and we're like, ooh. And she's... And she's one of those... fat women that you could tell self-assured i'm telling you right now she doesn't feel fat at all she feels like she's a boss bitch that's why if you watch this and then you watch her interviews the first thing out of her mouth i think when she says she's a a witch man all you boston ladies eventually just grow up to be an old tomato huh she uh she was she was a witch not the girls from ever
Starting point is 00:23:41 dude that's different girls mevered are different no they're the bottom of the pyramid chicks doesn't matter still that's strong that's not fat yeah she was she was she had a a vibe around her do when she came around she had a she had a orbit around her probably yeah yeah because she's a witch no because she was fat and a witch she had her own gravity she was a fat witch she had her own atmosphere that's his wife he's watching his brother bang the hottest chicks and and rake in cash and all he and he can take the money. He can't take the women. The women will not...
Starting point is 00:24:16 I'll tell you what, though. That's the picture I was talking about. Look at how handsome that motherfucker hit it right there. And he's like... And that guy's got to fucking watch him have millions. And get, by the way, he paid him extremely fair. Extremely. I bet he was all expenses too.
Starting point is 00:24:31 So after everything's paid for you to do any of the work, and then on top of that, I think he started 150. He got up to, like, more than that. I think he's over 200 years. But his brother really... I remember his brother would show. up at these colleges before Dane was he would show up at these college and Dane would murder
Starting point is 00:24:45 it these you know big big money he would show up and set up this merch thing like fucking Iron Maiden and do it all and it was all cash a lot of it was cash back then that's where you skim that's right and I remember Dane would be in these lines
Starting point is 00:25:01 for hours longer than the show the merch line he would meet every single person in line but you imagine every night he goes Dane and here's seven grand from the tilt because he sliced off 1500. That's how you do it, cool. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:25:17 That's how you do it. He always used to try to get us to go with Darrell too. At one point, he's like, you got to let my brother handle your money. He's the best. Now that you're going to be making money, after Torgasim, he was really pushing his brother. Like, you got to let Darrell do it. He's the best. And I remember telling Gary, like, I wouldn't let that guy.
Starting point is 00:25:33 He always had a vibe. He always, he did. Do you know the guy who says that in the thing when he was like, he asked me kind of a mussely weirdo? That guy himself. He was like his neighbor. But they ask him, yeah, it's like his friend. It's like Dane's long-term friend.
Starting point is 00:25:45 It's something like, he's like a weird bodybuilder, okay or something. Do you remember that? And he says, he goes, what was your vibe of that guy? He was like, creepy. Like from day one, I thought he was creepy. That's who, that's Richard. That's who his neighbor at La Fontaine. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:25:58 And they became good friends. Yeah, Richard. I love Richard. He's the best. He was awesome. He's like an eccentric, though, it seems. He's a bit of a weirdo. I think he was a huge PR guy in Hollywood.
Starting point is 00:26:06 He was actually, he worked with Mickey Rork. He worked with a lot of big names. He looks like Mickey Rourke. Yeah. Well, him and Mickey Rook are friends. That's what I'm saying. That's a sense. Yeah, Richard was, I love Richard.
Starting point is 00:26:15 He's great. But yeah, he was on to that whole vibe. But he didn't, when he met her is when it changed. You know what I mean? She seems like a dominant lady. I mean, she seems like something that's like the lady. She's like, she wasn't like, I'm lucky to be in a relationship at all. Not at all.
Starting point is 00:26:34 It's like she, I think that guy's a fucking bitch for chicks, dude. That guy's definitely a lap dog. I think she came off as some victim or 100% not. Where she got me, when she's such a fucking liar, she's a piece of shit. I tell you, when she started saying the thing, she goes, I just thought, when she said, I have really expensive tastes, I like really expensive things, and I just thought we had the money. He was saying we had it. So we had it.
Starting point is 00:26:57 It goes, you didn't ask a question at all. Like, I don't know, honey, can I get a fucking $25,000 purse? Like, can I? Yeah, but you didn't know there was that much money in spaghetti. steady sauce in the wall, in the vacuum cleaner. Dude, I swear to go out of my life. I swear to got my life forgot that they found millions, right? Wait, so they recovered money and it went back to Dane?
Starting point is 00:27:19 It didn't go back to my phone. Did it not go back to him? No. Yeah, the money went back to Dane. So all the cash that they recovered, he got. Yeah, he got that money back. Because he also had $6 million in taxes that weren't paid. Well, he never paid taxes.
Starting point is 00:27:33 Which is a real, fuck you. But wouldn't that be the brother's job? Yes, no, it's a brother's job. I believe the $3 million that he took was the last bit of money he had. So he was trying, like when they say he's trying to bury him. Clean amount. That last $3 million was the last $3 million that he had, that he didn't know he didn't have anymore.
Starting point is 00:27:51 So he was trying to either set him up or just take him out. Well, I said it's funny. He said he think, you know, and you're also living a lifestyle at this point, but he said he went from thinking he had tens of millions of dollars to $114,000. And he would always. which won't cover you because of the life he's now living. You know what I mean? That's like you're, I mean.
Starting point is 00:28:12 He's not buying the house. Not that it couldn't, not that it couldn't cover you for like a few, like, you know, six months. There's a baby. But like, well, it's so funny because Dane always in the documentary, he did the whole Dane thing. And he's like, I'm going to, I know, I'm going to make that money. But by the time he goes to court, I'm going to be fine. You know what I mean? I mean, that's, that's like, that's such a Dane thing to say.
Starting point is 00:28:34 You know. Well, it's nice when your thing to be like, I need to make this money. back book arenas around the country i'm gonna go make a million dollars a night real quick he did he did 80 yeah 80 arenas and what is that probably about 300th hour night more than that brother yeah no for one person selling out yeah well way more than that dude he was you got his tickets for a hundred bucks maybe 150 bucks well you got to rent the space yeah so you're talking 15 to 20 000 a show I mean do that math $100 $50 50 15,000 people. What is that?
Starting point is 00:29:10 15,000 times $100? Yeah. Well, that's going to be $150,000. No, it's more, right? Is it 1.5? It's maybe something like that. Yeah. So, you know, then take the arena off that, all the blah, blah, blah.
Starting point is 00:29:23 So probably close to a million, you think? Probably, maybe half a million. Maybe half somewhere in there. Don't forget merch. I would go out after my set and sell my, I would go out, I'd have my CDs, and I would sell them. Pathetic. Because you, well, you make a ton of cash. He defends it.
Starting point is 00:29:39 He goes, no, you'll make money, too. I know. I know. It was, and I would sit there. He had four. I sold my CDs at a heavy metal tour that I was on. I'd go out there and say, hey, guys, if you don't want to see Lamb of God, here's my CDs available, a defunct medium. He had four merch booths in every arena, and I would be at one of them, and the line would be fucking 30 deep in each thing, like a concert.
Starting point is 00:30:01 Yeah. And so, I mean, the merch he made. But he would always... Well, he just, I mean, the sign was great. He would always say, he would always say, he would. He would always be like, dude, you know, I always have a little extra cash. My brother has a thing, you know, some cash, not knowing that it was all the cash he had from all that merch shit
Starting point is 00:30:18 was probably in a wall or in spaghetti sauce or somewhere. The fact that he did it like that, he really did like mafia-style hiding. Yeah, it was spaghetti. They couldn't believe it. They were like, they opened the freezer. They were like, what the fuck is it? It was weird to me, too, that she's saying that she didn't know any of them. Well, they also, like, followed her around and said that she was going everywhere
Starting point is 00:30:37 that he would be going. Well, I said it's a very smart move to say, so if you watch a documentary, you'll see that it says at the end, that he absolved her. It's $12 million settlement, technically, they're supposed to be paying him back, but they never will.
Starting point is 00:30:51 $50 a month. $50 a month, yeah. So he absolved her of hers to be in the documentary. He offered to absolve the other guy of his. He said no, but I get why he said no, too, because he's in jail. Or is he out now? No, he only did three years.
Starting point is 00:31:05 He's out. The brother? Yeah, he only did. He did six, I think, and then disappeared again. Well, he did six years. No, he did three and a half years. He had a five-year sentence. And they just went into hiding or something?
Starting point is 00:31:17 No, well, they don't, he was a FedEx driver for a while. Guess where he lives now? Where? L.A. Yeah. At the end of the documentary, it says Darrell lives in L.A., in L.A., which is fucking creepy to me. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:31:32 I mean, that, I mean, I would have 24-hour security if I was Dan. He lives... Dane was gonna forgive his debt if he would do this document And he said no. He said no. But I was like, but you know why?
Starting point is 00:31:42 Because exactly, because for $50 a month, it's never going to hurt. He's going to pay it until he dies. He doesn't give a shit about that. They didn't find all the money, bro. Yeah, that's the money. They didn't find all the money.
Starting point is 00:31:51 That $3 million, where the fuck is that? Well, do they sell like his businesses and all that stuff? Well, yeah, he had restaurants down to Florida. Right, yeah. That's the cousin who helped, who did the wiretaps with the wife. And then she brought him $400,000 down in a vacuum bag.
Starting point is 00:32:06 Yeah, the wife's a wretched piece of shit. By the way, almost proving how wretched she is that she did a documentary. Because I thought it was, when they explained that at the end of the documentary, it made sense. Because I'm like, why would she agree to be part of this? Because when it cuts back to Dane after she's talking on a documentary that Dane's making, he's going like, yeah, well, I mean, she's a liar. And the family's all, yeah, but she's like a lunatic. Like, of course she knew that.
Starting point is 00:32:27 So it's like they kind of go at her. And I'm like, I wonder why she would have said yes. Because she's such a piece of shit, she was like, yes, you'll let me out of my debt. And then go ahead. She didn't see anybody. shooting, you know. No, no, for sure, but she was caught on, she was caught on tapes, making a deal with the cousin about getting money. How do you, how do you just get 400,000 cash if you don't know that Darrell has cash? She brought $400,000 cash down to him. And then,
Starting point is 00:32:53 but he also went across the country, and I believe he went out of the country for a day. And his wife, his ex-wife lives in Puerto Rico. So it's like, yeah, maybe he has that, it's that, you know, Shawshack to Revention. Yeah. So it's like there's, well, I thought with the $3 million when they drove across the country, they thought he was stashing it around the country. Like he didn't show up in L.A. with the $3 million. Like, he left it. We don't know.
Starting point is 00:33:18 You don't know what happened to that money. Was he trying to set Dane up? Was he stashed in the cash? Would the most fun thing be if you just happen to be like wandering through the desert and you just see off in the distance to people burying money? You just wait patiently for a couple hours. You go. Go find that.
Starting point is 00:33:32 Yeah, I say, when you just do it, you'd be like, oh, man, this is the only thing. thing that could have gone wrong for them is me seeing this happening because I'm going to go dig that up in an hour here's the thing too she was like well we took the train across the country because he don't want to carry the boxes you can't fly with $3 million dollars there'll be questions yeah there'll be
Starting point is 00:33:50 a couple questions you can only fly with $9999 $9,000 9,000 if $10,000 is illegal they have to fucking question you about it so they had $3 million in cash and shit so they took a train and then they rented a car and she's like I just thought it was because of the
Starting point is 00:34:06 boxes he had. And we want to see the country. That's bullshit. Yeah, her playing dumb is so fucking gross. You're like you fucking pig bitch. By the way, Christine's particularly angry because Christine also identifies as a witch as this lady still does? So I think it made her
Starting point is 00:34:22 feel really bad. Like, oh, is this what people think of which people? It is. People call me that. Doesn't mean they identify it. Oh, you think you're a... Really? Which code? Oh, really? I just like the decorations, Jay. They're for Halloween. But Al Del Benny was funny to me because It felt like, I love Al, but it felt like he was really trying to, like, be me.
Starting point is 00:34:43 It was weird. He was really trying to. I don't know him at all, but he was very, like, vivacious. Yeah, he was really trying to say, you know, have a, have a moat. I don't know. I just don't think Al gave much, like, a, like, insight to it. Wait, really, he looks great. We forgot about this.
Starting point is 00:34:56 Besides the cash, he also ran up $5 million on Amex that was never paid. Oh, yeah. That's crazy. Which, I don't know how you run a $5 million dollar tax. have on Amex without paying ever, like, just because the name says Dane Cook. It was a black card. Yeah. Maybe that's why Dane wanted me to buy Quiznos that day.
Starting point is 00:35:14 Yeah, dude. I'm actually going through a little bit, dude, if you wouldn't mind grabbing Quiznos. But he made it all back, and the documentary is amazing. It's really a really good thing. And he did great. I think he really came off. It made me have a little, I mean, I always had a little bit, but it really. I was going to ask that.
Starting point is 00:35:30 We have to get into tomorrow. I was going to ask, did it make you feel a thing? It's like, Shabina's guy just told. I mean, we're older now. And so should we just talk? Maybe. Well, Torgasm wasn't even fucking mentioned.
Starting point is 00:35:41 Al in the Monkeys was a blip. It wasn't mentioned really. A Torgasm wasn't mentioned at all, I don't think. Yeah, like, I'm the one who said he can be in Al in the Monkees. Because he goes, he goes, I'm doing HBO. Like, wow, we did it. I got an HBO special. And was like, yeah, I thought there was Torgasm.
Starting point is 00:35:58 And I found out from Barry Katz had him on my podcast. I know we got to take a break, but Barry Katz said they bought Torgasm and gave him a special. They wanted Torgasm. And they were like, and you can do a special too? And do a special, and he got $3.5 million for both. What'd you get? I got Zilch.
Starting point is 00:36:16 Oh, okay. I got nothing. Oh, you did get a torn ACL. Keep that in mind. The fucking thing I'm doing, you have to somehow get in and break a rule. You break a rule. Like, Dinkukh should still cut you guys checks for that. Like, honestly, the fact that nobody got paid for Torgasm is one of the most insane things I've ever heard in comedy.
Starting point is 00:36:32 But, look, I don't want to get into this shit, but there's a lot of stuff. in this documentary that was really interesting. I mean, great documentary. Absolutely. I did think I was like, wow, I've never liked Dean Cook more. Yeah. But Dean Cook's old news. Bobby Kelly is the new thing, Thang. Catch the newest boy toy out there
Starting point is 00:36:50 filming his new special Saturday, December 12th. In New England. I don't know why we don't just say Providence. It's Providence. New England. New England. Providence, New England. I just say New England. Okay.
Starting point is 00:37:06 Why do you think it makes people come from further away? I just want Boston to hand. But you understand they know they live in New England. Yeah, I know. It's Bobby's return to New England. Thank you, Christine, producer of my special. It's a glamour position. It's a branding thing.
Starting point is 00:37:22 It's a glamour position, you agree. We're branding. No, it's not. We're branding. It's going to be Saturday, December 12th. Get your tickets right now. It's in New England, everybody. How vague is that?
Starting point is 00:37:32 If you're wandering around the foggy marsh of New England, you might find the theater. But I'd say look in Providence. How about the Uptown Providence Theater? Boom. Tickets are on sale right now. Punchup.com. That live slash Robert Kelly.
Starting point is 00:37:43 They will sell out by them now. That's good.
