Hey everybody, welcome back to the lost tapes it's the bonfire What is it? Faction talk come on you got a series xM103 I can buy panic I panic through that one you got it though
Starting point is 00:00:35 Panging out with Josh Edomire from the 500 podcast. What are we talking about? Yeah, man, those drug going to work things I've never done that Yeah man, those drugs going to work things But I'm talking about hungover do you ever get fucking hammered enough to go into like a shitty job hungover? No really I had a couple times on jokers. I never join call times that were My god, I was yeah, I was so still like a I Was doing some stuff, but I wasn't like working in comedy. I mean, yeah, when I was drinking,
Starting point is 00:01:11 but I had shitty jobs that I would show up to hungover all the time, especially when I was, you know, those comedos. Yeah, I mean, that was like, that's over a hundred. Yeah, working in the restaurant industry, you're gonna show up hungover. It's, because you drink with that. If you were good restaurant, just like you were talking about the restaurant industry, you're gonna show up hungover. It's because you drink with that. If you were a good restaurant, just like you were talking about the comedy club, you hang out with everybody that works there.
Starting point is 00:01:30 So if you work a Friday night shift and you get out of 11, my favorite was there was this bar called CB6 on 51st and 2nd. That's now called Staggedhead or whatever, but they, we were cool with the staff there. So what they would do is they would have like these, this fucking like a bus tub of beers that were like $3 and they're like, there's like weird ones that we have. But sometimes we'd be like a good, like a red stripe would be in there or something, shit, but they would save it for us
Starting point is 00:01:57 because they knew the night shift of those criminals was gonna come drink. And then you'd be like, what do you guys got in the discount bin? And they'd be like, we got a fucking shark ale. And you'd be like, oh, I'll fucking take that. And then you're like, let me get a shot too. And they would, but then it got to the point where we were so cool
Starting point is 00:02:10 with them fucking 2 a.m. would hit. They'd lock the door. We could smoke inside, put our own iPod on the fucking speaker system, pour your own beers. Oh, it was the shit. Yeah. Drinking as a restaurant staff. It's the best fun.
Starting point is 00:02:23 I'm so happy I was staff and experienced like boozing in that way because it really is like going through the back doors knowing all the dancers knowing all the bar tenders like it makes you feel like VIP when you're broke. Like you never have to wait in line and it's just a way to kind of like dance around the city enough fun with like no money. But that's no money. But that's something that's a comic that you get to enjoy is when you show up in a city and you find a staff that hangs out like that and they're like, we wanna hang out with you and you're like,
Starting point is 00:02:50 yeah, what do you guys got? But the problem with comedy is if you drink hard every weekend, they're like, we're gonna show you a good time. Yeah, yeah, I feel bad in hanging out this last week and they wanted this to hang every night. Yeah, you look at a little Yeah, I'm so bored. I'm so bored.
Starting point is 00:03:07 I'm just got food with back. That's exactly what all I want to do. I'm going. I'm like, if there's a late night burger place or like a good restaurant, then you're like, you guys a couple of you want to get food? Well, the right thing, if it was like really nice outside, everyone was hanging outside and stuff like that, but it was just still to COVID and there's like, fans and stuff that might be there and everything
Starting point is 00:03:25 and put the staff, that staff there is great. It's a big thing. Bobby Kelly said, I talked to him this weekend and he said to me, me, you and him and some other comics you do a show. I'm like, I don't know, I'd love to do this if I just didn't think like the repercussions would be like so bad. But he goes, we just go because he was talking about the club he did. Yeah. And he's being like, and I was like, oh yeah, that place, it blows. And it starts right with the staff. Like if the staff doesn't give a shit about comedy to comedy club, dude, it's over. It's a wrap.
Starting point is 00:03:54 It's actually like the big thing at the stand right now that we're at constant is like, I'm like, people need to care a little bit. Like they have to care about the comedy, they have to, they have to make sure, like I don't know if they know like You're not supposed to give personal opinions at the comedy club like everybody's great, you know Yeah, but I also but that being said I liked the environment that the seller had for a long time because there was like those
Starting point is 00:04:18 Those staff members were there forever and so when like I remember you know This is obviously 10 years ago but I remember getting past the seller and then like when someone told me like you have to staff watches you you're good. Like you're gonna be good because they're the ones that have to hear you every night and that was kind of rewarding knowing these people have been around forever and they're like still like oh you're funny you're like I remember I would do this joke about like I was just airing grievances about waiting on European people in New York and I would tell them to tip and I just remember
Starting point is 00:04:48 like a couple of the servers when I got past me and like, hey that bit kind of worked, they tip better and you're like, oh cool. And then you know, oh, if I get them, tip better, they're fucked up. Of course they're going to enjoy me more. And then there was also when I was still drinking. So you could like close out the club and drink there. It was just fucking great. I had my time. It's so funny because I just the chef from the comedy magic club when I was there he's hanging out all the time and he always had a camera on him. And he just said a photo. So 2005 to 2008 there's now photo dump on Facebook of all these pictures from my comedy magic
Starting point is 00:05:21 club days and looking back on it as an adult, like, it was the most fun. Like, we were so close and it was so fresh face about comedy and we all, no, no, no, it was the most fun. Not the most fun ever. Obviously, this is like a dream, but to be nothing. No, it's alright. This is just, you know, you're just doing it for the check.
Starting point is 00:05:41 I'm talking 20 years old, no idea what you wanna do or who you wanna be with your family. I know, but I'm just feeling well about people. I just kinda it for the check. I'm talking 20 years old, no idea what you want to do or who you want to be with your friend. I know, but I'm just feeling well about people. I just got it right. Tell the story. I didn't know it was going to start this. I didn't know that food running at the comedy magical was going to be what ultimately got me here.
Starting point is 00:05:57 Damn, you were a runner. You were a runner. So you must have callus Tans from all the burns. I was in the kitchen. I do have callus Tans. Man, I was a lot of things. I was thinking. I was thinking. I was thinking. I was in the kitchen. I do have Calisans, man. I was a little bit late. She learned the fuck comics out there.
Starting point is 00:06:06 Whoa. And she found her. Yeah, she worked away at boss level. I ain't fucking any of that works the club. We, I got my buddy a job. I used to bust tables at the Aurora Steakhouse. And I got my buddy a job there. Me and Fujiwak got her friend Joel a job there
Starting point is 00:06:22 as a food runner. And he was like, yeah, that fucking his first day training and a manager comesak got her friend Joel a job there as a food runner and he was like hell yeah His first day training our manager comes up because your friend Joel had go to the hospital We're like what? He grabbed a hot plate. He has second degree birds on his hands And it's not joy He's reached to the ground and stayed playing. I was like We saw the whole thing. You're trying to fucking palm asleep. We were fucking doing it. I hate that was medium, just touching it.
Starting point is 00:06:48 We grabbed the plate of Bernie then. And the next time we saw him, he was just saying, I was all fucking cotton swabbed up above his heart. And he's smoking a cigarette. And he's like, dude, I fucking know. That's how it. But yeah, I mean, working in the kitchen, it's so fun, because you're treated like shit
Starting point is 00:07:07 for your whole shift, and then you wanna go somewhere else and talk to people that were also treated like shit, their whole shift about it. So that's why everyone fucks, that's why everyone gets oddly bonded. This guy was like, I asked for, he said he did want beans with his coach And he to be ill and I was like I am message the kitchen I don't really fucking send it out and like the same fucking guy I brought him chips
Starting point is 00:07:36 Hey, he fucking spill just drinking I don't give compliment to one Do you get two more shots? That's all it is Nobody else cares beyond the people that are working in the restaurant with you. So it's like you can't go home and bitch about it in the same way you can with the other people there. But there's also, it's also a specific bubble
Starting point is 00:07:55 because the farther along I was getting in comedy as I was also waiting tables, I was noticing that like comics, the way we talk to each other, is the same as waiters, the way they talk to each other is the same as waiters the way they talked to each other Oh, yeah comics. It's all the same conversation where they're like hey Where you've been on the road recently? our shows all good crowds there is the same way that waiters talk to each other and they go to work at double yesterday
Starting point is 00:08:17 Would you walk with yeah? Yeah, yeah, cool. I just I heard it's just the same fucking six questions in every job. Josh is going to I try to take the reins if we would go to eat on the road now. I worry about Josh's cell. He sends been it. First of all, he asked you bad. It tells when the when when a one of the staff, one of the servers from the club said that's the one that she goes, to the hot dude coming to come to the far with us. Josh goes, are there any hot chicks there? Oh, come on. I wasn't thinking. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:08:54 I don't know. It's gonna be a friends always. Is it gonna be the big foam? Like it is. It's not gonna be a bunch of tubs and shit like this. Let me go. And then when we went to cheesecake factory over and over again, we went there, what? It was just like the place. That was the only place. And we got the same thing every day, bro. Except we got tacos one night and they were just my favorite place.
Starting point is 00:09:18 They were just good. Just my favorite place. That's fucking hilarious. It's Katie and I just had a conversation with it. At our grocery store. She found out you can buy the bread, the brown bread. Brown bread? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:09:29 Yeah. And I was like, I don't know what this is. And she was like, she's getting factories bread. I'm like, cool. Do you know they have fucking cheddar biscuit mix now for my lobster? That's fucking awesome. In the store. Ah, it's fucking awesome.
Starting point is 00:09:41 But she's getting factories, by the way, just, you know, and the reason we got the same thing every day the reason we got the same thing every day is because pretty much everything there starts at about 1200 calories It is in set it's you could on me the color flower You can call a flower is 12 hundred calories You can call a flower so me Josh got, we got the half sandwich salad soup thing. And then they love it. We love the half sandwich soup.
Starting point is 00:10:10 We got whatever. We got it all three days. Bread bowls were bread bowls of thing. No, but the bread on this sandwich was unreal. I've never seen a bread piece of bread perfectly toasted. The way that this bread was toasted. But they're chicken salad. But what should we call it? Listen, this bread was toasted. With the chicken salad. But what should we call it?
Starting point is 00:10:26 But listen, this is so good. Josh is just, I'm telling you, it's Justin Silver and Josh both. I was just gonna ask you that. My Jewish friends that are in their 40s. Yeah. Myself, when they get to places, it's just, I hear that thing in them, and I'm like,
Starting point is 00:10:41 you're one of the people late that night, they're gonna be drinking about, that's the east goes, I'm like, you're, you're one of the people late that night. They're gonna be drinking about that. That's the east goes. But the one you got me. You go. Can I get dressed? Can I, but tell me, tell me if I'm wrong. Tell me if I'm wrong.
Starting point is 00:10:52 Is there a problem here? He goes, is he got a, and he goes, and with the thick, well, I'm gonna give you verbatim. I'm gonna give him verbatim what he said. Yeah. And then you tell me where the problem is. I mean, the way I said it. He goes, and yeah, it goes out to the ams problem is the way I said it goes and yeah
Starting point is 00:11:05 I'll do the am sounds with the chicken salad. Oh, what's the soup? Yeah, I'll do the soup I'll do the soup and then Yeah, what do you want? I said you did you get the chicken salad sandwich? Is that the bread you're talking about? Yeah, that's my fucking favorite thing from cheesecake factory I haven't had it in years. I can't believe you ordered it. It's like the best thing on the menu. It's all in everywhere. It's the lunch special.
Starting point is 00:11:30 It's the lunch special. It's the lunch special. It's all in here. You can't believe. You had to be done. I found it and got a big Mac. He goes, that's actually only on the menu. If you have to know, you have to look
Starting point is 00:11:39 under the table. It's actually on the bottom very table. It's in the menu. It's the lunch special. I don't know what's the lunch special. I actually give you a decoder ring. It's the lunch special. It's the only special. They actually give you a decoder right? It's the lunch special. It's the only thing not 20 years ago when I was going in Vegas. Oh, well, you know, you're just a pioneer.
Starting point is 00:11:52 Yeah, that's a Vegas cheesecake factory. It's probably fucking special because I ordered it. All right, trend center. You don't see me sitting around wanting my dick suck for ordering a fucking monicrysto at Benagans. You think you're still big mix because I've eaten so many big max? You think I've kept big max alive myself? Yeah. You like filet fish? Shut the fuck up. That's all I order there. With... TARDER SAUCE!
Starting point is 00:12:13 Shut the fuck up! Shut the fuck up, dude! Alright. So Josh orders... Give me the Josh order. He goes, ah, I'll do the Renee specials, what's called, it goes with the suit. Yeah, I took up that and and give me a kiss. I'll do the chicken sound for the thing. He goes and the sound I'll do the season, the small season. And can you put you get a light dressing on that? Yes, sure. It was a lot of dressing yesterday.
Starting point is 00:12:47 Oh, no. Oh, no. Fuck you for blaming the salad problems on a previous administration. That is a different. Sure. Let me tell you why did that? Let me tell you why.
Starting point is 00:12:59 You can't dress on the side for a certain. Yes, you can't. It was a different shift and also Josh wanted to do this. Now we, I'm part of this. I'm part of this also in this one. But we walked in the one night to try to get like, late night food. So it was close.
Starting point is 00:13:14 So like 11 o'clock. It was close. It was close at 11 and we walked in and the guy just did like, for sure, we were like, hey, you guys open and he goes, he goes, close guys. And we're like, oh, okay. The night even take out or anything. He goes, close and he's like, hey, you guys open and he goes close guys. We're like, oh, okay, like the night even take out or anything goes close and he's now he's walking towards us with almost like to let's go and Josh Just like didn't touch us or anything. It was just like walking us out. Yeah, and then Josh goes
Starting point is 00:13:36 We even like get a slice of like bias like the pretty slice of cheesecake because close man close and we kind of and I like a Dildo yeah, I go I go I go All right, thank you, sir. I'm like, why did fuck that you say thank you sir? It's out. Yeah, it wasn't even bitching I was I'm just like always prepared to be put because it makes sense I'm fine going in there and having them say we're close. We can't give anything and also if you come to me He goes to go sorry man. I really can't I go all right now. No worries man. Thanks for being cool and leaving So I've always prepared to be like whatever. Maybe it's bitchy, I guess but like I go all right no worries man. Thanks for being cool to and leaving so I've always prepared to be like Whatever maybe it's bitchy, I guess but like I mean like pussy bitchy, but but
Starting point is 00:14:11 Dude and the guy shows that Josh me boat when we got started go I don't like the way that went Yeah, just like what I go. It was just after it was was after walk away things I was like I don't know I don't know what I was we're done differently ultimum not thanked him for sure But I was definitely like it wasn't that big of a deal he didn't do anything that big of a deal more than just. I was like, I don't know. I don't know what I was going to do. I was done differently. Ultimately, not thanked him for sure. But I was definitely like, it wasn't that big of a deal. He didn't do anything that big of a deal more than just like, I was like, I don't know why I was like, thank you, dude. I was good. I've been like, it's like, Hey, man, you can be like a little night like we're leaving. We didn't argue to go back in. He pushed us out with his like, he was like, he's
Starting point is 00:14:38 got louder. But it was not that big of a deal. It just was a thing. But either way, Josh had to, he had to stop himself, even when I said, dude, don't do that for real. At one point, he was like, I almost wanted to say, he wanted to tell the people the next day, I just wanted to find out what the deal was. I wasn't gonna complain. I'm like, I wanted to get a little bit of intel
Starting point is 00:15:01 from the server and just be, I didn't. Yeah, I got a dick. He's like, I a dick. Like, we've just, just we've been here every day spending money I'm not saying like I will I'll just tell you from a from a server standpoint from a waiter standpoint you don't want to hear about the manager from last night being a dick a no b they're closed shuttons someone down at closing is
Starting point is 00:15:22 yeah down at closing is. Yeah, it just feels good. You're not waiting. You're not manager. Yeah. What you've been waiting for watching them swap people away as you're like, I came over. Oh, you, yeah, they do. It's like, and then when they're like, can we get, oh, how about something?
Starting point is 00:15:35 How about something you're like, nah, get at it. I used to love bouncing euros that didn't want to listen. I told you about that time I slapped the ground like an NCAA tournament game and went, do you fence? Because the guy sat down and was like him and his wife. Right after the O8 collapse, the financial collapse, working in Midtown was just all wealthy Europeans
Starting point is 00:16:01 because the American dollar was shit and their money was so much better that like they were just coming over here and Fucking being like you guys are the colonies again. Let us get everything we want and we the Does communities I worked at was by the Waldorf Astoria So just be like a ton of wealthy people that would come over for lunch and because it was dose Camino's They were like got a lot of spanias a lotannas people, and they would just straight up be like, buh, boy, come here,
Starting point is 00:16:29 water no gas, water no gas, coca-light, and they'd be like, you mean diet coke, and I'd like try to push back on it, but some of them would just come in and be like, yeah, fuck your menu, I'm telling you what I want. This guy came in and was like him and his wife. There's either them or like the super wealthy people that didn't know how to pronunciate
Starting point is 00:16:49 like any of the fucking words. But this guy just sat down and was like, a beast dick. And I was like, what's that? And he's like, a beast dick. I go, well, we don't have just steak. We have a- All of our steak is straight.
Starting point is 00:17:02 It's not by. Sorry, bro, don't suck no peater whenever it's put in. It's fake. Look at, but I did the thing where I was like, you know that white bitchy energy, we'll serve, that's not really available. So I was like, we have our steak tacos, our carne asada tacos,
Starting point is 00:17:21 we have our carne asada burrito, but he was like, be stuck. And I was like, we don't have that. We can't just make a stake for you. And they got up with the girlfriend or whatever, walked out. And that's when I did the defense. Defense, look at the other waiter at the bar. I was like, I got him out of there.
Starting point is 00:17:39 Oh, legally, all above board, bro, come and see me. But it was, you start hating people people you don't want people to come in I waited tables for years man. Yeah, but I drove don't tip. Yeah, I drove a highly populated karaoke directly into the ground By being on a pro show. Yeah, I'd keep people out to them so funny I do have to say I like where you were headed with the okay Thank you and I get that's different for you because Jay meets like shitty with shitty. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:18:10 And just the cut from the customer service standpoint of like having to disarm shitty for the last 20 years. If you'd said, I think if you'd said, okay, no problem, you'd feel better. Yeah. But like it's just been like, okay, no problem and walked out like. It's like thank you the cop when he gives you tickets
Starting point is 00:18:24 you're happy to get arrested. Because he, what am I doing? Yeah, he's been like okay, no problem and walked out like yeah, it's like thank you the cop when he gives you tickets You're gonna get arrested you're like what am I doing? Yeah, he is asshole if you had acted shitty He would have been like I'm right, but because you said thank you like maybe he went. Oh, why am I being For seeing no hands already about to tell you no, he didn't that guy was amped up He's like you should make that fat fucking his little buddy leave you hitting me probably fucking held up his hand like you nailed a Three afterwards you see me walk those twinks to the side of the walk. And we had to go over and we ate at this taco place that just makes everything but a normal, delicious taco. Man, I asked for taco sauce. They said, what kind of we have 38 kinds and they don't have 38 kinds because you know what they don't have at all?
Starting point is 00:18:58 Taco sauce. No, just a taco sauce. It's always like, it's literally it's like it's like peanut butter yogurt taco sauce. It's also funny about that is when you're on the road, you know, comedy shows Friday, Saturday nights don't get out till midnight and if you're trying to get food, obviously you're going to a place where it's near closing of the kitchen. So you're always getting servers that are like, oh, and there's like six of you and you're like buzzing with energy. You're like, that was a good show. That was a real fun chill. That fucking guy, that's just fucking crazy. And they're like, whoa.
Starting point is 00:19:26 Did you mind making a soufflé? Yeah. It's the thing forever. Especially seeing a table come in when you know you're close to done is you're like, are you fucking kidding me? One time, this is, I was, when I was still working dinner shifts, my friend Sarah had one table left,
Starting point is 00:19:43 but I had a full section. And she was like, I was, she wanted to but I had a full section and she was like, I was going to go drink at the bar. And she's like, I transfer this table to you. They're like a $60 check. And I was like, yeah, transfer it over. It was the night before my birthday. So I was going to close my section out and then go have birthday drinks with everyone to be like, that's my fucking birthday tomorrow. My whole section empties out. Her two top stays there. Whole restaurant empties out. Two top stays there.
Starting point is 00:20:09 They're having like a romantic dinner in the back. Christ. I did the, I dropped the check on them, which were you weren't supposed to do company-wide, but I did it. Drop the check. Did the think pick up four times? The, all right, I'll take care of that.
Starting point is 00:20:22 Oh, oh, there's nothing in there. All right, put the book back down. I went and spoke to cigarette, came back. Hey, you know what? And at that point, you're like, you're more and more angry. Yeah, yeah. You're taking away my life.
Starting point is 00:20:34 I'm like, I'm going to be like, and I would still, because usually you see the credit card pulling out. So you're just doing that to get them to be like, ah, fuck, you know what, man, let me give you that credit card and I'll get out of here. Did it? Do you know what, I got a manager to completely break protocol and turn on the lights of the restaurant?
Starting point is 00:20:50 Really? To be like, it was, it was an hour pass closing. Like, yo, that's ridiculous. You want to be like, do you guys realize what you're doing? And they were doing that thing where they're just like, it was 113, 114 downstairs in the ball hall room. Don't know if you remember, but they're sitting at the two top with their hand, you know, their chin in their hands, looking at each other, being like, they're in the middle of the leaves or something?
Starting point is 00:21:11 No, they were on a date, and they were just like fucking being. We went there that one time, they have those really cozy booths along the back where they're almost like private, the whole set and all. These people felt like they were, yeah, there I wouldn't sit and look at each other like this.
Starting point is 00:21:23 No, they were dorks, they were midtown dorks, and we fucking hit him with the lights, and then finally the guy got mad, and he's like, I'll just pay the check and tip me, I think like, fucking $6 on 72, and I was like, you fucking cock sucker. And then I just went and got blackout drunk
Starting point is 00:21:40 in an hour before it closed, you know, I was like, God, the best one I've ever of that experience though was one time I got fucked at in an hour before it closed your door. I was like, God, you got it. The best one I've ever of that experience though was one time I got fucked at lunch on a, or not I got fucked at dinner on like a $200 bill. I got tip 20 bucks and that party was out drinking at CB6 when we all showed up post-dinnershift and the guy was across the bar from me and I go, you tip like shit like that and the guy goes,
Starting point is 00:22:02 what I go, I was your server tonight. You tip like shit like that and the guy goes, what? I go, I was your server tonight. You tip like shit and he was like, oh bro, what? No, it was automatic gratuity. I go, no, you left me 20 on 200 and one of those coworkers was like, damn! And I was like, it felt so good. Oh, that's so great.
Starting point is 00:22:18 But then immediately the next morning when I was hungover, I was like, do that guy call the restaurant. I can be fired. I got fired from a job in Lossi Angelis, called Pritzies right next to the UCB on Franklin. Yeah. Cross Street from the Scientology, please.
Starting point is 00:22:31 Yeah, Cross Street's now Franklin company, but somebody came in for lunch and the check was just like 40 bucks and I didn't have many tables that day and I think she left me like $3 on it and it was just like, I was just like, listen, I was like, is this, did I do something wrong? Yeah, she's like, no, you were great. And I was like, this is really, really low.
Starting point is 00:22:50 And she gave me another five, which isn't much better. And then she called later that night. And amongst other things, they let me go. He also let me go via text message. Yeah, but we mean Josh, me and Josh watched a domino's pizza guy getting not tip-blast and I think I think he came out of the hotel like slammed his door of his car I but that's nothing makes you hotter. They're getting fucked on a tip Especially when you delivery Dude, oh man the Russians weren't bad. It was the people celebrities were always the biggest bummer
Starting point is 00:23:23 Because you would be like It was always a celebrity's that humor thou A specific party I remember that stiffed you yeah, I got stiff so many times by so many different parties I got fucked over at that midtown restaurant. You'll get fucked a lot But the celebrities was like you would be it kind of in your head. You're like as the bill went up You're like well, they're definitely gonna tip me 20% because they're wealthy. So maybe I'll get 30%.
Starting point is 00:23:50 And then you'd get fucked and you're like, oh, I don't like you anymore. You're like, but then people like Bam Margera came in, tip 40%. And you're like, I love you forever. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Damon Wands came in, tip 40% loved him forever, but I waited on common and serena Williams
Starting point is 00:24:08 when they were dating and I got tipped like 15% and you're like, it's not terrible, but come on. Like come on. Come on, come on. Do they drop the Compt Bill with the amount at dose? I don't remember. I got the leverage. They did.
Starting point is 00:24:23 They dropped no bill, right? But there were people where like a, where you would, what's crazy is when it was a large party and you'd get fucked and there was like, you and another server and you would show the party that you were upset because they would just fuck you and the rest of the party would be like, thanks for taking care of us and you go, yeah.
Starting point is 00:24:39 And you'd have a completely different energy than you did when you were waiting and they'd be like, is everything all right? You're like, everything's great. Josh actually had a good bond if I can give him a compliment. Yeah, thanks. At Starbucks, you called it out early in the day and it was like, because we went in Starbucks lunchtime.
Starting point is 00:24:59 No, we went in, it's like 10 a.m. and we went in first time. The first time? Yeah, yeah, that's right. And it was like, there was a long wait this time And we're like why it is like it's a good so's young It's like girls over there to get pack like a gaggle of young girls and Josh goes and he can't make it like the joke It goes all Frappuccina can't wait to be out here for Frappuccinos and later that night when we went back Starbucks You started goes. Oh, we saw it goes
Starting point is 00:25:23 It was made the point goes the weekends We're nothing weekends goes when you have those young girls here, huh? She goes oh we saw it goes it was made the point goes the weekends or nothing weekends goes when you have those young girls here how she goes oh my god she goes it's the weekends it kills us she goes these groups of teenage girl and everyone wants a frappuccino. She goes every what she was we have to call on everybody to work cold you know cold drinks because you can't move fast enough because like 13 girls come in and they all went like the most complicated fucking drink. And they stay up two, three people in a star box. Yeah, that is, that's gonna ham,
Starting point is 00:25:52 or you watch them freaking out and you're like, and again, this is where I work. I think adjusting silver at that point would go like, but mine's just a coffee. Oh my God. That's what you were showing me, because can you just get mine in the middle of it? I would never do that.
Starting point is 00:26:06 I honestly got to think that. Asked, no, I know. I honestly got to think that asking for light dressing was bad. It was bad was the follow up. That was the follow up. I shouldn't have asked you. It was fine.
Starting point is 00:26:17 Let it be like, reprimands them for sure. Being like yesterday, I thought yesterday it wasn't good. They're like, well, fuck off. I was off yesterday. I'm also at the scene. Hey, you want to come to the bar with us? I like are there any not fat pigs there? My energy isn't negative towards them though. It's very like welcoming and just like no I was it was fine. I'm just I shouldn't have added they When like you know when I was working in mid when I was waiting tables and like
Starting point is 00:26:43 2008 2009 mojitos were really really popular. That was like the fucking I was that when you have to I don't know dude You have to muddle the whole thing All restaurant made sure that the bartenders That's how they sold the mojitos There was fresh muddled mint
Starting point is 00:26:58 So they're like everything's fresh muddled We muddle it right there It's not a syrup It's not a thing which most restaurants have a syrup or a pre-prepared thing. So dude, watch it at 10 top and just watch it go down the line and they'd be like, I'm gonna have the blueberry mojito and you're like blueberry and then one girl would be like, oh my god yeah, I'll do the same. And you watch like nine and you just go and be like nine mojito and you would put it and you would send it to the bar and you just go and be like nine
Starting point is 00:27:29 Mojito and you put it and you send it to the bar and you're just watching We'd like They pick it up and they'd be like Just try to do this our terminator scanning. We all get Sundays with 17 chocolate chips on each I want each You put that's what it is those orders where you're like, oh, you're gonna sink the fucking restaurant, dude. They were watching them stress over those, those fraps were, they said, that's, that's the nightmare. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:27:53 That's the nightmare of Starbucks. Yeah, I didn't realize how long we were going. We're done. Oh, we're done. So, man, this is what happens when you do a lost tapes, first and forever. You start counting. Oh, tapes.
Starting point is 00:28:02 I do, when I manage clubs, I tell all the servers that if they don't get tipped, they have to tell me, and then I go up to the customer and I make sure everything was okay with the service. That's a nice thing to do. Was everything okay? You black, suns, a business. No, Christine.
Starting point is 00:28:16 You want to make sure that you're doing something nice. You're doing good. You're doing good. You're doing good. They weren't necessarily black, don't. When you, what's funny is I've, before assumed I was not going to get tipped when these
Starting point is 00:28:26 two European ladies were sitting there and I was talking fast, so I'd say shit, it was like at the end of a shift where I'd be like, here's your guys just built, don't worry about it. I really know how tipped it goes over there, so I'll just see you later. I would just like kind of say it under my breath and then they tipped me 60% and I was like, oh, you understood English. Oh. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:28:42 And that's when like a tip is you feel embarrassed by it. You're like a bit of trouble. Soak my uncircumcised penny. Listen here colonial dance. I said, share your my servo. You come here with your disease sense, your little small box. Here take 60% of the money is how little it means to me.
