Make sure you remember that remember when I forgot Yes, I do because sometimes it wakes me up I didn't tell you said it you guys know that it makes feel better I don't I don't catalog your flaws because I forgot about that and so you said but when you just said it again I felt that awkward is all over again Guess what I do sometimes it foreign the morning on the couch. I kept it go What did you say I want to relive it? I Did you know the best is your mom when you need a mom? No, I was like, oh, okay, I'll go Lou will get your mom on the phone or something
Starting point is 00:02:18 Anyway, she's passed and I was like right I was I was I was was, I was, I was in the middle of this. I was in the middle of this, uh, hand gesture like Dan, we hang on. This was on the air? Yeah, yeah. On Zoom. No, this was on. Might have been on Zoom. I don't know. The Zoom area fogged up my memory.
Starting point is 00:02:36 I made her mom died before the Zoom area. She did. She did. In studio eight, uh, seven. Oh, well, someone's guy cataloged. Yeah. Six studio seven, Dan that my every one after the Like Andy's three
Starting point is 00:02:49 Three he does the count of the room. He was at position three and he said right in the loose eyes Well call your mom and let me search your past. I mean it was what color and heaven. I can't get out of this But I'm sorry again Lou and I think about it condolences, bro You'll make it do with seven minute any better speech about it. That's a little preview for Thursday mothers Babies are made by daddy's and mummies Damn you you should tell him you should scream at your rowboat in the morrow See if he goes oh, it's gonna tell my rowboat Are you gonna bring alcohol with you on the canoe?
Starting point is 00:03:29 Yeah, at a picnic basket. Yeah, are you going to bring like a 12 pack of beers, like Bud lights? What are we doing? The cooler's lights? What's your fucking? It's only two hour two. Or so I'd say six packs. You do it. Yeah, two hours in a fucking canoe with your chick. Six or a whole. Me and Christine are not both coming back on that boat. No way. We'd have a nice time. Two hours in a fucking canoe with your six or a mean Christine are not both coming back on that boat No way we'd have a nice time two hours in a canoe Bugs you do go like this though you go up and you go back down and then you come back up Really not the outdoorsy type
Starting point is 00:03:57 All the bugs and shit god Jacob you love you love it. You would love the canoe with a lady for two hours I would tell stories of the Titanic. We're on our own boat. Yeah, he's being like, you know, now the whole of the Titanic. I love a boat. I'm saying, me and Christine are in a fucking like, like, it's just a, they're canoes. Yeah, I feel like we could get you to Fisfeite if we put you in a escape room together. Oh, yeah. When I did in a escape room with her, and listen Kim Kongden, and I almost just checked out of it. Well, there was a problem in the escape room
Starting point is 00:04:31 where there was a fucking typo. So we were stuck on this problem, we're like, you're all like, what do we do? And the game was, that's a seven, not a nine. It was like, it was crazy. So we had something solve way before, but at that point, I'd already gone to like yeah, it was crazy. So we had something solve way before but at that point I'd already gone to like the
Starting point is 00:04:47 Man, this is for like you guys have fun. I guess I'll be over here Looking at the stuff for whatever. She doesn't really like to do things That's that's insane to say that you've done a lot of things away Especially on the night where you're going to see Nas Wu Tang. Oh, yeah, Christine's taking me to that probably right damn do things Go fuck yourself I don't do things you like to see shows. You don't like to do other things. I do just not the things you want to do I like to watch sports I would love if you guys hit this weird thing where you found a way to challenge him You got into like rock climbing and then you guys just got obnoxious about that
Starting point is 00:05:21 Well, like I see Lewis at the stand and he goes, Jane is fucking rock line. I know, if I hear one more about Han Chong, I'm gonna fuck it up. You see me digging the hand in the thing a little bit. Oh, while we're waiting to go into a room, you act like you're finding your way to climb it. I go, Jay, did you stop, dude? No, no.
Starting point is 00:05:37 Outside. Dan? Any walk could be scaled. But Christine's like, you know how like those women who do, we've talked about this before, but we've never found the video. World's strongest man, world's strongest man. Look at me having a Christine, men or man. World's strongest man, they would have, they would show the clips of the guy, the competitors, and their wives are just fucking into it.
Starting point is 00:05:57 Their wives are like life or death for them, or they're like, look at Gal and they're lifting up big rocks. Yeah, yeah, they're screaming at them. Yeah, dude, that's what you guys, that's the next phase of your guys' relationship. Christine's gonna get her strong man wife stuff. Christine does an interesting move, and I don't even, I respect it almost. She doesn't do shit, so she flips it though to make that seem like, Jay doesn't wanna do stuff
Starting point is 00:06:22 so we don't do stuff. But in reality, you're like, if you want to do stuff, so we don't do stuff. But in reality, you're like, if you wanted to do stuff, you'd do stuff. Why wouldn't you just do stuff? Because sometimes it is awesome when the other person in the relationship's like, do you want to not do anything? And you're like, fuck yeah.
Starting point is 00:06:36 I do stuff. There's stuff that I could be, that I would absolutely, I don't have time to organize anything. So I would need somebody to tell me like, hey, on this day you have off, why don't we go water skiing? I would go water, or not water skiing,
Starting point is 00:06:48 water jet skiing, jet skiing or something. Jet skiing on the East River, that's fun. Or tubing, any of those things I would do. Absolutely, I would do something. What about a lovely kayak through Pennsylvania? Not in a million years, I think it's a crazy, crazy idea. It's your home side. Like you would do the like, let's all attach our inner tubes
Starting point is 00:07:03 together and float with a cooler. The lazy river. How'd you that for four hours? Yeah. Just piss right in the river. Dude, you have to get out. I don't worry about pissing that much. Oh, yeah. Well, we're drinking a bunch. I guess so yeah, I'd probably I'll piss in the river. Yeah. Dude, if I could shut off dude, do I got my headphones and my and some some YouTube? No. Oh, yeah. I'm a river. We're excited to see this is crazy. I don't know we supposed to do We're in different weren't we in different tubes? Yeah, he's just talking You mean scream across water to you constantly all that It's just you hear him headphones in YouTube. He wants the DJ. You want some music while you're enjoying it
Starting point is 00:07:39 I could thumb some to you know ever since Jay started smoking in that other room. He really does like his alone time You know he's in his space I can't see that run now because the lantern flies if you crack the window that's why 13 come in Can I tell you what my personality is off learning anything? Last night I went to dinner with my buddy Zach and Josh and Katie and I see Katie in the first thing I go lantern flies are a big problem and she's like what? And I go, that thing you saw at the window, it's lantern flies and she went, where did you hear about this?
Starting point is 00:08:12 We were talking about it on the bonfire. I think it's a big problem. I think Jane has a problem. We don't. She's like problem We don't Oh Yeah, okay, I'm telling you I'm telling you I remember how dumb I am like I know way to feel dumb You should feel smart you should have been more condescending towards Katie because Katie's laughing this off He's gonna be eating her words then there was a day where I was like, oh look at
Starting point is 00:08:45 these like two or three outside. Didn't think any of it. Our window was open. I thought they were pretty when we went on the roof and saw the fucking candy man lady who was covered in them. And they were just flopping all over the ground. It was so insane. I'm like, this is a major major problem. The three even up that high is not stasis. Well, because I was walking my hertle and and I saw to them because they're red And I was like look at these guys. I just saw two of them today and when I saw them at your house Jay We each had like three kills each the four of us had to kill a lot of them to get the fuck off the room because they were coming on Nois they were coming at it. So itself defense
Starting point is 00:09:17 It was discussed so hold up in a bug gourd of law I've had to kill five in my house at least and then outside I try and the thing is if you miss them When you go for the step down they fly up at you. Yeah good You're supposed to get but there's been people on my block the last few days I've seen filming that at one point in front of some door they go to metal for some reason a lot If they go to the door like they just film along the doorways of the block, showing that there is thousands of these things dead, mushed in together, like, it's really nuts. So tell Katie to keep laughing. Looks like me, you and a can of WD 40 and a lighter
Starting point is 00:09:57 have a little date with bugs. I mean, tell her to keep laughing when she wakes up and this thing just, uh, silencing a lamb's death beetle is sitting on her face. I saw a girl today slapping off her and freaked out It's crazy forget one of the hardest laughs. I've had ever after everything settled I told you this story before it when I lived in Tucson, the cicadas were out in a mirrors girl from Melissa Who is another loud Jersey girl? We lived on we had like we had metal stairs When he goes one of five. Yeah, Melissa's pussy gets man wet when I go over a hundred We had metal stairs and she was go stars at night. It was like to go out night or whatever
Starting point is 00:10:35 She left we were in the apartment You heard like clunk clunk clunk and it was just the stair metal stairs to our apartment Screen blood curdling screen blood curt like she was being stabbed Mm-hmm open the door and she was like and she turned around and there was a cicada on her back just like I am Oh, shit like we like went to knock it out. She ran in it was like I Wouldn't be okay for an hour. It's our house. I empathize with that dude You swatted away, but that noise was fucked up that close and that loud you
Starting point is 00:11:05 I don't know how not cool I was on the roof with Lou, but when they get on my leg or something I hate it man. I don't like those little Everyone seems to say how beautiful they are because the red and the wings they still have fucking roach legs Besides Christine Several people I first think they really are pretty when they fly they are I get what they're saying But I mean it's fucking there they come at you. They're not afraid of you Respect bug that does that though not me Roaches run when you come they they scurry these things are in a fray
Starting point is 00:11:39 They you can walk up you could I lift my foot quickly over and last second they dip out and fly up, but they're not, they'll land on you from you trying to step on them. They don't care. One time I saw a meme that was like, imagine if horses were carnivores, how scary it would be. And I always think about that stuff with like, imagine if roaches ran at you. You'd like, fuck, watch, stop! You're just be like, just come right at you.
Starting point is 00:12:04 But rats will right at you. But rats were running at you. I would have to end my life. I would have to end my life. I would have to end my life. Rats will come at you. That time, I mean, that's again, talk about moments that I'm like,
Starting point is 00:12:15 Christine is far more bad-ass than I am in this situation. I don't know how I would have done this, but a rat one time when we were sitting on that stoop that, yeah, that everyone misses so much, so, so much. That stoop, a rat ran out of the street. Christine was sitting with her knees apart, just sitting down and his rat ran right up or snooter and fucking torso, jumped in the air,
Starting point is 00:12:40 just ran kind of back down and away. It was insane. Those nuts. I will say to those of you that are listening, I would have been, don't live in New York City. There's a certain acceptance of rats that is bulkers in this goddamn town. We're like, the subway, how many subway videos,
Starting point is 00:12:58 but I've been on the subway when a rat's gotten on it. Oh my gosh, everybody just gets on top of the thing. It's a whole thing. It's a whole thing. It's a thing on it. Yeah, it's on the one train. When I was coming down from stand-up New York and I was drunk and I fucking it happened and we did the thing between the doors and I shut and you're like I was such a pussy. I was worried that the rat was gonna come through. He's trapped in there. Yeah, they're all stop. And then you really realize who the real New Yorkers are
Starting point is 00:13:24 because they just sit there and they're like, yeah, whatever. Somebody was just sat in their chairs. Like feet on the floor, picked their feet up, whatever, be like, yeah, let it run. I'm standing. Yeah, I was just, I'm out there. Am I up? One rat.
Starting point is 00:13:39 I think I'm non-stop keeping an eye out for it. And if it comes near, I lift my feet up. I don't know. I don't tweet this video out Christine, but shout out to that businessman about a minute 30 in that's on the seat, but he's just on his phone. He might be thinking a picture,
Starting point is 00:13:52 but he also might be doing some business. Just getting shit done. I'll tell you right now, if he's my money man, if you're a trustee, okay. Just business man, dude. The world is a black mirror episode though, huh? Like everyone's also, while they're jumping up the thing,
Starting point is 00:14:05 everyone's filming it. Yeah. Yeah. Everyone's, that is what he's doing. He's actually filming it, you can see. I'll never forget the, when you write in from Queensborough Plaza, if you write it on the seven or the end train, you like, go under,
Starting point is 00:14:18 there's a part where you're above ground, but then you go under, cell phones back in the day, used to not carry any service underground. And so when you'd come out, I remember Joe and I were like day drinking one time, me and List, and we'd come out of the ground. And this is like 2009. So cell phones aren't like crazy popular.
Starting point is 00:14:34 But Joe just goes, everyone pull out your phone, and like a couple of people laughed, and people pulled out their phones. And by the time I left Queens, everyone was just on their phones all the time. It was great, like I remember when you used to not be able to, so when we would be on their phone, you're gonna lose that right when we go underground. And then now, I was just on the train yesterday.
Starting point is 00:14:51 I was like, oh shit, you can just be on your cell phone. There's full service underground. But I remember, that makes me feel old. You do not know what makes me feel old is that when I moved here, you didn't know when the trains were coming. I remember the first website, one of the waiters at Stand Up New York, it was like, yeah, hopstop, he's like,
Starting point is 00:15:07 you could type it in and you could see and that, let me drink more at Stand Up New York. I was like, oh, they're coming at 58. I'll go down there like, a light of cigarette stand in the stairwell, like 54 and see if it's earlier or what. I watch it so far.
Starting point is 00:15:20 I watch like friends and sex in the video and they're just 90 shows and it's funny when they have something they want to show. They're like, I found this on the internet. I was excited. This is on the way. And now that guy's got a rat in the train and he's still online. That was a super fun thing to watch on that show that me and Jacob and Christine all
Starting point is 00:15:38 what was super natural. Yeah. To go back to the quarantine era was that to watch the show go from like They always they had to get back to the hotel when they got some new information to get on the internet Because it's on their laptop computer. They had to hotel. Yeah Then when phone that was flip it was always flip phones they had and you saw it slowly go They had to acknowledge that like this can all be done I'm sending you this website now on the iPhone,
Starting point is 00:16:05 they all had iPhones. Yeah. And like the technology that showed grew, yeah. Pretty funny, yeah, GP, all that stuff that like that wasn't there at all. And they just do it. I'd be probably a fun thing to see in like a cartoon that lasts very long because I watched that with a family
Starting point is 00:16:19 of Simpsons is the best example, but like, I've seen episodes, there's cell phones, cell phones didn't exist when the Simpson started. But they don't want, there was like a Wall Street guy with like a big brick phone. But they don't, I don't know if they had in those shows like the advent of these things. It was just,
Starting point is 00:16:33 oh, they're one day. Just one day it was there. Yeah. Yeah, I mean the idea of that. I mean, I remember going to my grandmother still lives obviously up in Lake County or whatever, but I remember flying in and having directions written down in a notebook Oh, like 10 miles to this and then you take one oh
Starting point is 00:16:53 Yeah, exit this number go down this road and then now it's all just when I drove back from DC on Saturday night after the shows Just blue blue blue, but I was like we'll be home by 4.45 am. I was in a way. She wasn't it says home Yeah, I was just direct me blue and I was like we'll be home by 445 a.m. I push your button that says home. Yeah, I just directs me there. I was in LA and my phone got stolen and I supposed to go to my dad's, which is like a hundred miles away from a lane. I was like, Oh my God, how am I going to get there without a phone? I was like, it's literally like the 91 to the 15 you get off on to Macula. It's really easy. No, I know you feel like you're supposed to look. It's a weird thing like the instinct. It's so funny if my GPS is on and you're coming home,
Starting point is 00:17:31 probably anywhere I'm at 45 minutes from home, I don't need GPS anymore. But I still follow it. I just keep looking down and I go, it's always 14c, but it's 14c again this time, right? 14x14c for sure. C again this time, right? 14 X a 14 C for sure. What do you think, uh, computer? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:17:49 Okay. That's how I would play it too. I would do 14 C. You don't need for it. The best was when I took the side of GPS over my grandmother. She's lived, she's lived in the Bay area for fucking, oh, for like a side road. Let me get you there for like 72 years. I think she's lived there for 75 years Or whatever close to I know in my computer and we went to a 40 we went to the second to last game at Candlestick Park
Starting point is 00:18:13 And I was like driving I was like well GPS says we should take the baby bridge go over to Oakland 515 or whatever and she was like I know that's not faster And I was like no, but it is this computer is using a satellite. She's like I know which's not faster. And I was like, no, but it is. This computer is using a satellite. She's like, I know which way to go. We can go north. And she's like, well, we're not gonna drive through this. We're gonna see you. You're all bag of shit.
Starting point is 00:18:32 You're like, what are you doing? Going the way the computer tells me. It's really like taking the side of technology over your family. I'm like, I get what? The roads might have changed. You haven't left that fucking dumb pounding. Sal is very about GPS.
Starting point is 00:18:43 He's like, it's satellite, but what I've noticed about GPS, because in LA, like, I know my way around LA, and I know how to get from point B. I never had GPS driving there. So I wanted to go over by the airport, and I wanted to take Rebecca to this place to kettle, I'm in Hatton Beach, which is literally 10 minutes away from where we were.
Starting point is 00:18:58 And GPS mapped us this way that was gonna take a half hour. It like took us all around. I was like, oh, because GPS is never gonna give you local routes. They don't do that? No, you don't know the local. You don't know the local. You could choose that.
Starting point is 00:19:10 You could choose it on someone. It's funny as I got into it. I had a Lewis cab driver moment on the way with my nan. After also with a actual Uber driver. Because I was like living this, when I lived in a story, I'm like, just take 21st Street, it's less lights,
Starting point is 00:19:24 and then you caught up and he's like, no, where I take the living this, when I lived in a story, I'm like, just take 21st Street, it's less lights, and then you cut up and he's like, no, we're gonna take the GPS guys, it's dug in. And it was like, we're taking GPS and I was like, all right, fine. When you were talking about your grandma, or my mother wanted to say very quickly that, my grandmother had the stone unveiling. Perfect.
Starting point is 00:19:42 On Sunday, it was nice, very nice, little, very short ceremony, my Sunday. It was, uh, it was nice, very nice little, very short ceremony. My sisters, my mom, Joe, my brother, aunt, uncle, and Uncle Mark, Mark showed up. Chad, I don't know, Mark. Yeah. Uncle Mark was, he was a cool one. I was younger. It was heroin and booze. I didn't know that. I thought he just ruled. How's he doing? I thought it was awesome. He wanted to teach a young kid, the knife between the fingers fast game. Oh, man cool uncle sliced himself up so what and didn't Give a fuck because he was so wacked out and I was like this guy is fucking badass. I didn't know I had an action hero in my family. Yeah, this is you guys are so fucking also in a family that's like pretty
Starting point is 00:20:20 Jewie technically in like their demeanor forget their religion or whatever Mm-hmm. They're pretty Julie and then all of some uncle Mark tatted up love it Fucking old dog named tree. There was always with him Hebrew hammer. He just fucking he just went dude drugs and booze And also weird enough very good with computers like he was like a He was the Navy for like electronics and he did like he would like build computers and stuff like back of the day of like the early stuff of that. I don't know if he has a goddamn clue what to do with like, no, but yeah, he knew how to like, like program. It was pretty wild. Like, yeah, Jason, your uncle's about to hack into the main frame. I got a cave over here. I'm going to show you what I do. I run MS dolls. Christine's you don't come back before.
Starting point is 00:21:06 I mean, he showed up both times in a sleeveless flannel. I thought he worked at the cemetery. Yeah, sure. We went to his grandmother's. She goes, this grave digger's getting pretty emotional about your grandma. He's wearing like a sleeveless flannel. He's a sweetheart.
Starting point is 00:21:19 He really kept me in the thing. He came up and shook my hand. He was like, he's like, James, and I'm really proud of what you do. And I watched your stuff on your clips and it really makes me happy. I'm like, oh yeah, you like it? It's really dirty.
Starting point is 00:21:32 He goes, yeah, it is. Third laugh, but like that was cool, man, to see him. And a couple of those very nice, and my grandmother's, as he was referred to in the ceremony, longtime companion, Jerry, of 30 some odd years. BF dude. Um, yeah, Jerry and my grandma, as I think I've discussed Jerry before on the show, he's a crotchy old man from across the street that for some reason my angelic grandmother just
Starting point is 00:21:58 loved and cared for and was with him. Yeah, it was a step, it was a step grandpa. And he, in my life, longer than my grandfather, who I love to pieces and I do have many memories with him. So I'm happy to have that. But he died when I was like almost 10. Yeah. And my grandpa was like 11 or 12.
Starting point is 00:22:17 And Gerald stepped in. Jerry's wife had died a few years before and Jerry and my grandma got together. And then a series of just blunders. He's called one of my sisters fat before. He, I remember the story of I'd say him taking me, I go school clothes shopping with mom, and he would grab Paul at my crotch
Starting point is 00:22:37 and tell me there's too much room in the crotch. Yeah, he did. Yes, mom, I know. I know. We love Jerry for you. I promise. And he was always the crotch. He's the one that's screened just and silver loves it know we love Jerry for you. I promise and he was always the crotchety fuck He's the one that's screened Justin silver loves because he was there for this
Starting point is 00:22:49 We were at my house like one Christmas or something. Yeah, and like we're hanging out there Jerry's probably already pissed He's like why are these Jews having Christmas? Yeah, it doesn't make sense It doesn't make but he comes down and he just like you know He's just like he doesn't have time for he comes down and he just like, you know, he just like, he doesn't have time for the nonsense. That's just Jerry's like personality. And he was there and I think I'm, my grandma, I'm making my grandmother laugh telling stories about Jerry's
Starting point is 00:23:13 and my grandmother, full capacity. Yeah. You know, she was full capacity two years before she died. Yeah. This is her and like full-combin. I'm making her laugh just telling the old Jerry, oh, I remember Jerry when we were kids before, you got together when Jerry was the guy we knew who said if we went on his lawn
Starting point is 00:23:28 There was acid that would eat our shoes and skin if we got on it. So if it was like that guy and you're like Jesus He didn't even say like you know, whatever like him cooking that up while he's shaving Because he's fucking kids a little or a metal. Oh acid Burn the feet. I'm ever having to spend some minimal amount of time with him at points like My grandma was like go to Jerry's for a minute. I got to do something whatever whatever was just go in the Jerry's You're like oh this guy sucks dude. It is dude. It's place sucks. It's TV sucks We'd be like just sit down here wait for your grandma Yeah, but maybe not that mean, but like sure maybe he was just like but it probably definitely matter effect never warm
Starting point is 00:24:05 You just not a warm guy like sit down and I got toast and I wish I wish I'll describe what he did because it's a physical motion But it man it was funny When the ceremony was over everyone's gonna stand around I was smoking a cigarette with my brother and stepop And we were just standing around all the cars that were there. And then we hear a three like loud honks in a cemetery. It was like, and we kind of jought and we look over. It's Jerry in the front seat of his car. This is, I think you said that.
Starting point is 00:24:43 Did you say this when we were talking for it? It's probably the last time I'll ever see Jerry silver. Yeah, it was the last, it was the fun of the 90s, he's driving so much. Yeah, well, also you don't have a, you're not connected to that man anymore. No, there's just the exactly, well, he's not close,
Starting point is 00:24:59 he's not close with your mom, he's not close with your stepop, he's just fucking gone, Jerry's gone, peace out Jerry. Absolutely, I'll never see Jerry get, maybe it's funeral, I guess, if we all, does that go to his funeral? Are you? Maybe not.
Starting point is 00:25:09 I don't know if you want to drive home early from Albany. Maybe. I'd say I'm not making, yeah, I'm not making a fucking pilgrimage. There are some people that, when Nana goes in the dirt, I am never gonna talk to again and I'm okay with that. Yeah, and so, yeah, I understand what she's saying. So I'll never, ever see Jerry get. And this is my last thing of him. said to me that day was like he's like hello Jason like that kind of tone
Starting point is 00:25:31 And then it's these three honks me my brother stepfather look over and Jerry It is front seat of his car just goes Heavy arm waves is it get like I get the fuck out of the way Yeah, and we moved and he peeled off I mean, let's like all right goodbye forever Jerry good luck with the rest of your fucking short life. I'm a Mootick, I'm just since I was a boy. I'm just gonna say I'm the opper together There is there is a world and where I'm a big fan of Jerry pulling it like that I'm a big fan too of the attitude.
Starting point is 00:26:05 Jerry's thing is the last time he's going to see any of my grandmothers, my grandmother's grandchildren were all there. Her great grandchildren, some of them were there. And you know what? That's a problem for Jerry. And that's just a reminder that she was married to someone else. Because I bet your grandpa died and he was like, hey, you know, he died and she's single, right? His wife and died.
Starting point is 00:26:28 He's like, do you think I'm gonna have that shot of the lady across the street? And then she's like, this is my daughter and her son, Jason. And he's like, hello, Jason. And you're like, I don't wanna touch fish. He's like, I don't fucking like this kid. And he's like, things are in.
Starting point is 00:26:43 Storms really send me sideways. Oh, my name's Jason, I'm really funny. I'm a lot of fun. In case the sky gets a little cloudy. And then I'm gonna talk. Then I start talking doomsday talk. And then Jerry the whole time is like, I just want to fuck.
Starting point is 00:26:58 And then he puts up with it for so, and then his girlfriend dies. And then he's like, just go. Because they're in their 50s or 60s of them. Sure. And then 30 years later, he goes to dies and then he's like just go there in their 50s or 60s of that shirt and then 30 years later he goes to his car and he's like yeah I never want to deal with you guys in a Nissan Central but also in shoot us but also because I'm on your side fuck Jerry you never have to see him again that is crazy behavior mom was with Jerry's and for like 30 years but she was like my husband's my
Starting point is 00:27:29 Robert so you like that Jerry was just a fucking placeholder until she could be back with Robert That out cuz I'll tell you right now he didn't want to take that out Jerry didn't want to take that out on her He took it out on Let me give you an fairness my rock let me that out on her. He took it out on a fucking Jay and- Let me give you an in fairness. I'm in my rock. Let me give you an in fairness. He's taken care of, we're not taking care of him,
Starting point is 00:27:50 but he's been with this woman for 30 some other years, Jerry. And he has to stand there. The stone unveiling is just her side of the two-person stone for her. She's buried right next to my grandma. She's moving in with her boyfriend. Yeah, yeah. Let it go.
Starting point is 00:28:04 It's not the ever, they always do that. They always do that. That's gotta be funny to my grandma. She's moving in with her boyfriend. Yeah, yeah. Let it go. They always do that in there. That's gotta be funny to go see your chicken burrito some other dude. Can you imagine if something happened where like I died and like I went and it was like you being buried next to Carla? And then you just have to sit there and have your, yeah that would be so great. I actually really buy dual plots with Carla. What a good pay off. I'm gonna have, I'm gonna be cremated and have them sprinkle my ashes on top. So great, actually really by dual plots with Carla. What a good payoff.
Starting point is 00:28:25 Dude. I'm gonna have, I'm gonna be cremated and have them sprinkle my ashes on top. And by the way Jerry, Jerry, Jerry just having to back bite his jaw the whole time being like, Uh-huh. Oh I'm so good. So you could wait until the fuck out of this, the fuck out of you. You could ask for his family. Oh.
Starting point is 00:28:41 He was so, he didn't say goodbye to anybody, he got in the car and told us to fuck off Out of the way I bet he was I bet he was eating blue shoes like M&M's on the way to the home He's already got some new squish. Yeah, I got a fucking 86 year old. I'm gonna fucking bang out I think what started how I think you started seeing somebody else at one point. Yeah, so fuck your whole family I didn't care. I think you start seeing someone else at some point and also like, because he dipped out when she went to the home. He just like didn't see it. When she went to the home, he just checked out and it turns out he can drive.
Starting point is 00:29:12 Dude, that's so funny. He's like, oh, maybe he can't drive as it is 90s, but nope. That way as he drives, this guy just did a stunt move to get out of the thing. He laid wheels on us. It made us, when he pulled away, we had to go, and then, Jerry. If it would have been even better if he was putting on driving gloves as he got in anyway move
Starting point is 00:29:31 Touching my fucking car. Yeah Jerry was over it because Christine you made a good point. Yeah Christine That was a good your mom mom the whole time was like Robert would kiss me and I felt like the whole world was holding me up And he goes well, we got tickets for an APM movie. Yeah, good. So Jerry hold my bags. Yeah. Jerry hold on. I eat chili out, but I don't need my jacket. So you just hold on to it right now. Now Robert would say these jokes. I wonder if I'll give him back in time. If I could look my grandma, my grandmother's house definitely was
Starting point is 00:30:00 decorated with plenty of pop-op stuff forever. Even when she had the cleaner house out they were still take they were ticketing down the racks of the VHS movies They like existed still in the house. That's for racks of self-taped by the way. Hell yeah. I mean he self-taped From the original to make a copy of it. It wasn't like he read it all the movies It's pop-hop in a bridge over river. Why? Have you ever seen my pop-up in Citizen Kane? Oh, also he's got comedic chops. He does Ace Ventura. It's very, he does a pretty good Ventura.
Starting point is 00:30:32 Yeah, he's, but yeah, so his, so his, his stink was all over that house still completely. So if Jerry ever stayed there, dude, he was staying in my, in my pop-up house. In pop-up house for sure. And I don't know. Why do I was I think Jerry stated why do you think Jerry stayed living across the street? Oh, yeah Oh, I think my Grail I think he he talked about her moving in with him a couple times my grandma was just like Nah, I miss your like grandfather. I think it's more just like I can't take this guy all the time because she would like She'd called children for a week or two. Like I haven't talked to Jerry in a week
Starting point is 00:31:06 because he was rude. He's rude, ask for friends or set something. He's a dickhead. Or rude to my mom or something like that. He was, yeah, he really, but I'm saying, it wasn't like this guy had his moments. I don't understand what the softness that my grandmother had in her heart for.
Starting point is 00:31:21 He was never not that. He never came in. He was like, hey, it's really great to see you It was never that and it goes he gave her the drive here sucks. He fucked her like a man that lived through the great depression Oh, you know what that's what it is. He probably gave my mom off. Oh, he plow and like she never used to work on the fun. I used to work with my hands She missed that from my pop up my pop up broader that fucking Navy swing Yeah, she missed that from my pop up my pop up broader that fucking Navy swing
Starting point is 00:31:50 Sweet sailor love where he was like I've traveled the world my love Let me tell you what a sunset's like into heating and Jerry can you say right? So you're merchant marine. I'll fuck you. Yeah Jerry's like they pull me into places by the men was kid to go You fuck over here, but him being a dickhead is hilarious, but also that made me laugh more than anything else other than when you said when you said that thing though it was more because I didn't know if I would put that exact thought together that like wow he had to feel in that like why will we ever see each other ever again what I buy you would assume or in reality the situation a hug probably a good handshake though and like you know, he's known you since you were a child.
Starting point is 00:32:27 There's 11 years. He's known me since I was younger than 11. Yeah. Since I was a little kid. So maybe a little festive of like a Jason, your whole life we've been around each other. Good riddance. Good riddance.
Starting point is 00:32:41 Nothing. Just a straight up. The thing is, I was like, I was like, I was like, I was I always I was like, but he's gonna have the way. I didn't know if it was kind of crazy or whatever But I always really respected the fact that my aunt my dad sister could just be like oh this person wasn't good to me So I don't talk to them anymore, and I'm like damn you really and she's like yeah, they're people You know what I mean? I mean it was kind of cycle like kind of psycho But also at the same time as someone that always is like,
Starting point is 00:33:05 are you mad at me? I respected the shit out of him. One thing I don't have. Your dad's sister just cut off the family. Cut off my mom. My mom, like, my aunt was dying of cancer. My mom and her gone in argument. She's like, fuck your mom, bitch, I'm not talking to her.
Starting point is 00:33:16 And she died. I'm okay with that. When I never experienced my mom. Fucking wild. I was like, I never experienced in my immediate family. In my immediate family, I've seen like, some external stuff, but like, I'm just fucking wild. I was like, I never experienced in my immediate family, in my immediate family. I've seen like some external stuff, but like, I've never dealt with, and I see that in like, in my ex's family a lot,
Starting point is 00:33:31 and everything where it's like, I mean, years of not liking each other, and then everyone's kind of back together, and it's shaky, and then everyone's super close. Well, that's why I couldn't do that. I'm like, I don't know what that is. My family's always just been like, we're just like close in the,
Starting point is 00:33:47 we're not like all day, every day, like close family either. But they are. And that's the thing too. You're also first marriage kid. So it's like their family, like the way they communicate with each other is different than the way you communicate with them. Absolutely, but I'm just saying also,
Starting point is 00:34:00 like I love them in there. My family, I've never had like a, I've been mad at my brother first of a shit, that he's done, but more of a disappointed stuff. I mean, I don't have any kind of, but I'm not involved in their lives every day, where it's like he can affect my daily. Yeah, because I think if you're in each other's lives,
Starting point is 00:34:18 you're a big affect on each other. I'm an assistant to live on top, but on each other's life. Yeah, with my family, I mean in the 10 years me and Jay have been I've gone through stuff with particularly like there's a few women in my family that's been like up and down like there times where we weren't speaking for years and we had like an hour long conversation and we're talking
Starting point is 00:34:35 today and I think it's weird I think it's always funny though when you really bag on a person oh yeah and then you have to like oh I know I have to walk it back I was like I like actually love Mona when I haven't talked to my dad, I did that to a couple of friends. One of my friends got divorced and I was like, fuck yeah, dude. Never liked her. And then he's like, I'm back. Oh, I know that was. Yeah. I was like, dude, I really, I've let it go too. Pulled the rip cord. She sucked ass.
Starting point is 00:35:02 We talked about that with you in the Wendy's ride We started to unleash a little and you were like I'll never forget that I'll never wait so when we're at Bonneroo. I had to call Dan from my ex girlfriend the actress that moved LA She was like we were in the van going back to the hotel and the driver's like I can take you guys by Wendy's and I was like fuck Yeah, who's that keep in mind. I should tell the story. I'm not gonna stop guys by Wendy's and I was like, fuck yeah. Who's that? Keep in mind, I should tell the story. I'm not gonna stop or interject the story
Starting point is 00:35:26 other than to say like, Dan has been, this is the end of Dan being like, visibly, visibly my turn. I'm gonna check. So, he went to Bonero with her. Yeah, I brought her, like when I found out I got Bonero, she was like, oh, like she got it. She was like, oh cool, because she was, I was, first off, I brought her, like when I found out I got Bonero, she was like, oh, like she got it. She was like, oh cool, because she was,
Starting point is 00:35:47 I was, first off, I was, this was my first relationship when I was sober. And she was hilarious until great stories. No, I never said that about her. But as a danism though. Katie calls her the show pony. Yeah, Katie calls her the show pony. She was like, dated a show pony, whatever.
Starting point is 00:36:03 I've heard Katie's explain her relationship to like people she's fun. She was like, well, dancing show pony. Whatever. I heard it from Katie's explainer relationship to people. She's fun. She was like, well, dancing in the head like a real girlfriend. You had like a couple show ponies. And I was like, God damn, you fucking nailed it. But this show pony only was grass fed. And so you went, you know, some of your at Wendy's and it's in like a transportation van.
Starting point is 00:36:23 And we're like getting out and I'm like, I'll come with you guys because fucking Wendy's, dude, we were out Wendy's and it's in like a transportation van and we're like getting out and I'm like I'll come with you guys because fucking Wendy's dude We were out there all day and she's like are you serious? And I went yeah, what yeah, do you want Wendy's and she's like why do you want he thought that thing was maybe she wants Wendy's Which in hindsight I'm like you But dude I'll never forget baby when I throw some Wendy's and Which in hindsight I'm like you eat it, but dude I'll never forget baby You want to throw some Wendy's and that's sick bod? The unbelievable body What is Wendy's what is is that another woman?
Starting point is 00:36:58 So we dude I was like yeah, I'm gonna go get Wendy's cuz you know and It's like it's down though was like, yeah, I'm gonna go get Wendy's, cause you know, and because I'd say like it's there, and though, it's a mistonerity. Also, we had been fighting. So it was like, I wasn't like miss, it wasn't like we were gonna go up and make passion at love.
Starting point is 00:37:12 Like we were chipping at each other because she would, you know, it just, it soon died. The relationship died shortly after that trip, but I shut the van door and we pulled away and Jane Christine had to do that moment where they were like listen We hope it works out Just gonna let you know that's fucking crazy
Starting point is 00:37:32 You shouldn't be with a woman like that That happens when you says you're gonna when you say you're gonna go get Wendy's cuz it really was like a We really get business like I'm like damn. That's like a lot and I was like say now We're just like we were just dump. We were all like took like, say, now we're just like, we were just dumped. We were all like took mushrooms and shit. Every so we're all like just dumping the thing. I'm like, yeah, everything we were like, Hey man, the gangs all go. And it wasn't like my, it wasn't like we were.
Starting point is 00:37:54 Dan wasn't following my decisions, particularly. I think it was kind of like I would have done whatever. Also, but we were just half the show from the side. We kind of had we have like a group of, and we also had, we were all hanging again. Yeah, Mark Bobby, like there's like a bunch of people are are you Norman? Yeah, Jeff Ross. It was like a bunch of people and everyone was like oh we had watched it from the side stage. Let's go watch from the sound stage and then I was I know I remember I said to you was on the we were on the side stage and up in this like kind of yeah scaffolding
Starting point is 00:38:20 thing and we were all there and I'm just getting Dan's next to me. Yeah. So he's getting the telephone for me. Yeah. And everyone's going like, what do you think? Bala, bala, bala, go down everyone's kind of going, yeah, yeah, it's getting to me. He goes, have a good, I'm like, well, I'm down wherever we go. We're all going to go down the thing. You're like, dude, totally. And then said something to her and then three songs later, four songs, whatever it was,
Starting point is 00:38:40 everyone was like, we'll do the thing now. And we're like, now, I look at Dan now. And he's like, yeah. And then everyone starts going and Dan, and you like, we'll do the thing now, and we're like, now, I look at Dan now. And he's like, yeah, and then everyone starts going and Dan, and you just see, she does like the, like she does the fucking, the plaintiff, like, tugs on Dan and goes like, I swear, I swear, I swear. And he's like, huh?
Starting point is 00:38:55 I just like, I swear, I swear. He goes, he goes, yeah, actually guys, we're gonna like stay up here and just hang from up here all the way. So in her defense, what she did say when she said that was she was starting to freak out on mushrooms. And she was like, I don't want to move right now. I'm starting to freak out on mushrooms. And I was like, but it was also me being like, sorry guys, we're going to stay here.
Starting point is 00:39:17 Fuck that sucked. The best was, and then you, and then when you fucking put her up all the shoulders, dude. Oh my god Upie and by the way, I was trying to like rap along Kendrick Lamar with that with hot box on his shoulders No, that wasn't Kendrick Lamar that was afternoon Florence in the machine Okay, and I did all I remember is cuz it was daylight and Norman goes oh boy When I did it I just heard it going up. I was like, I'm off. Mark on my shoulder makes fun of you.
Starting point is 00:39:49 Yeah, I think I have that picture on my computer. It's great. That's a great picture. What's funny is when we, that was like, we did that moment. I don't have told the story before, but we did that moment with the photographer where he was like, you guys all yell something out. And Jay and I were sitting next to each other
Starting point is 00:40:05 And he's like, yeah, some everyone really yell something out. It would be a cool picture And he's like, yeah, something like that. I was like I've been being bullied by a hot woman for four days And dude, we went to the airport the next day and I've never seen someone know that it was over But I called you when I was at the airport I remember I remember that phone guy and I mean Christine was just talking about it We're like yo, we really like diarrhea the mouth last night, and I called that I remember this conversation I said the words. I was like buddy. I know we're going to town But everyone was all it was just wacky night and everything goes I always I go I go I always want you to know
Starting point is 00:40:39 Dude I go if you lover we lover so don't fucking feel like whatever and then it was it it was over Yeah, I think it ever, I think it ended maybe like, uh, like a week after that. Like I was like, I was like, you guys had a process. She like, she came to town, right? And you had to go, you were out there. I don't know what it was. I just, I remember we, it was a process. All I remember is that I was like that Bonaroo thing.
Starting point is 00:41:01 That's why the next year Ari was like, why don't you come to Bonero with me? We'll do a secret show at like three in the morning and You can just watch the bands and have a good time and then our buddy some antipitual kept calling it a roo over She goes you get a roo over because your girlfriend fuck it suck last year And then it was awesome. It was like a great time. It just did drugs and went to bands. And met Eddie Vetter. That was cool. That's seem pretty show dude. He seems like a good conversation. He seems pretty cool.
Starting point is 00:41:29 I want to talk about 9-11 for a while. But when you, that dumping on your friends significant other, but sometimes you help them. That helped. I can't picture you like this. You didn't seem happy. I've never actually seen the show pony.
Starting point is 00:41:43 Can I look just so I can see what we all show your Instagram? Yeah. Grizzy. I'll show you on the grizzy show pony. She was on for sure. I mean, you talk to brother. So what's that? Is she the different? Is she different from the girl that was at the Cory show? Yeah, yeah, way different.
Starting point is 00:42:00 Way different. I mean, this was at different, but same. But this was this was like the um I wasn't dating her but when the show started. I went bathing suit shopping with her. It came out. Oh my god. It was so depressing. She was so hot. I was like everything she put on. I was just like perfect. I'm like okay. I just want to show my asshole too much Ralphie mate Ralphie may had I could only tell you two Studly men as his tour guy as his like tour managers or whatever I think we're off you made took a shot. I go Ralphie. Maybe we'd eat her like a chicken. Yeah
Starting point is 00:42:37 Yeah, sorry man. I thought she was a snack But we were we were at Bonner. We're gonna go do mushrooms on his bus, and these two guys, they looked like leather watch models, like the kind of guys. They were chiseled, they had like- Dude, back them hair? Yeah, they had David Beckham- I'm wearing a four horseman t-shirt and cargo shorts. I look like a- Smells like swamp nuts. I look like a grown retarded man. And this hot girl that I'm dating is just being charmed by Ralphie's tour managers.
Starting point is 00:43:14 They were like, oh, so you're moved because she just moved to LA. They're like, go live in LA. I tell you what, there's this restaurant you need to go do in those feelas that you love and she'd like and she thinks that Chicago brain, you know, I'm trying to be friend. Might be more comfortable with you. Go up on my shoulders. Yeah, he goes, you know, it's crazy. I can stand you up like a cheerleader if you'd like.
Starting point is 00:43:34 What are you up? And then I eat a drug that makes me overanalyze everything. Where I was like, it was fucking awful. There was a really bad one fun. The trip was when we did mushrooms is good. Kendrick Lamar was cool. Oh, the music was fucking awful. It was a really bad one fun. The trip was, when we did mushrooms, it was good. Kendrick Lamar was cool. Oh, the music was fucking phenomenal. And it wasn't completely bad.
Starting point is 00:43:49 It was just, there was some moments where I was like, well, this is ending a relationship. And then remember when Ari, when we walked away from Ralphie Mays to Rubo, he goes, what do you think is gonna live longer a soda's relationship or Ralphie Mays? Yeah. Turned out it was Ralphie May.
Starting point is 00:44:02 One of my favorite moments of Bono always remember is that I think I was on skanks. I think it was on skanks. No, Rafi May C was depressing, that was sad. No, when we went into that tent to take the pictures altogether and they were like, oh, you guys, the waiting tents over there, we needed about 15 minutes to set up the shot or whatever.
Starting point is 00:44:20 And we walked into this tent area, it's got three couches, big couches. And there's just one tiny pretty girl sitting on one of them in a corner so often out of the way and Mark normal walks up to where he goes shoe. Yeah. It made me laugh so fucking hard. That was that forgot that that was shoe. That was a Norman Bang Day TNT girl. Yeah, that photographer a Danny clinches like a major photographer and I never I have a picture of him taking the picture of you guys But I've never seen the actual photo
Starting point is 00:44:52 They put it out they put it out of what's funny as you see the next You see the next year, but oh, that was another thing I'm making for a cigarette because I'm not telling people I'm smoking me and Christine Keep saying I'm calling Isabella every five seconds Oh, dude you disappear you guys walking on the side of a tent to go call Isabella It looks like a circus tent in between a chain link fence and the circus tent like we're gonna go cause the bell I'm like you guys are smoking at Gary Clark Jr I go I was like man it's hot out here. We party some water. We go me and Christian go grab waters and they go Well, we need a lot of water.
Starting point is 00:45:25 So I go, I can carry a lot of water, relax, just so we can go backstage and smoke for a little bit. Yeah, Jay, that was June. And then Jay was at a town for the 4th of July. And I remember I went to Kumias, and I was with Lewis and Aurena Benshe, and I was just like, we're smoking. Like I smoke. I don't know the meteorite town.
Starting point is 00:45:41 I was just like, all right. Let me see what we're doing. I just watch out, because, you know, Jacob, what are you thinking? I'm going to have the screen at all. Yeah, thank you, Black. No, don't. Don't punch the screen at all. But no, it was going to just put it close to your nose. Yes, black. Explaining how do you social media to Jacob? Why can't he show the picture in case you accidentally like that any like that's gonna be a weird thing I've talked to her in years can you take a look at all yeah get the notification
