Starting point is 00:00:24 Oh, man Florida, just for a little bit longer. Jacob a top. Yeah, he's got to come back though. We enjoyed it We want a conference call soak it in You don't have to do things like that. You're in Florida Gatorhunt. You should have been here was on it too Warrior yeah, he was listening what we doing you'd ever pay attention to me on zoom you would see me on the phone What we doing you'd ever pay attention to me on zoom you would see me on the phone. Oh Fan get on zoom sure. Yes, I was yeah, he was up on the screen. Oh on this zoom. Oh, yeah I wasn't sitting well. I was sitting on camera. I guess another terrible angle might I add? You should go full diva and just only demand great angles from all cameras or else you won't go on it straight on me Man, stop going from the side sitting
Starting point is 00:01:05 Well, they have to rest them on these 1990 community computer monitors computer. What the fuck is wrong? This really does seem like a brain tumor. This does these computers are computer shop at a school. Yeah, is there high school computers? The screens were nice in 2004 when serious was about to open. Oh, you're like, oh my god, are they flat? Are they on little arms? Oh my god. How are TVs this thin? But now, now, that's... Well, the studio we're moving to when everyone comes back,
Starting point is 00:01:35 Big Jim said is equipped with cameras. So, you got a whole new room to worry about angles. Yes, but these will be fixed. It won't be a camera that I have to prop up on sort of the top of my monitor, but it doesn't actually clip on. And I want to clip on. It has to block most of my view.
Starting point is 00:01:52 Yeah, look at my angle. It looks like it's hiding in papers. This looks like a spy. This is like what they try to bust people with. I have a bust on a fucking date line angle. I do like that mine is really far away though. Yours is very far away. And mine're just very far away and mine looks like I Jacob. Hey Jacob's me Jay back here
Starting point is 00:02:11 Look at the lines underneath my eyes. I like the ghost of myself. Yeah, none of us are getting away with anything good You you give a little bit of a black eye. Yeah, you get decked will hit you did will hit you on that camera. I look fantastic You always came on both cameras. No on this Oh, he's running over detail is running over to show you how good he looks on this camera Yeah, dude you do look whoa is that Edward for a long And then you go back to your one and it's oh no who abused Lou now I think you look better on that camera you look John distover there. I think he thinks I think you look better on that camera. You look jaundiced over there. I think he thinks you. I think it looks better on that. You're like, right, that's supposed to say you look.
Starting point is 00:02:48 Jaundice isn't good. It means you're yellow from rot. You look, you look, you look, you look, you look, you look, you look, you look, you look, you look, you look, you look, you look, you look, you look, you look, you look, you look, you look, you look, you look, you look, you look, you look,
Starting point is 00:02:59 you look, you look, you look, you look, you look, you look, you look, you look, you look, you look, you look, you look, you look, you look, you look, you look, you look, you look, you look, you look, you look, you look, you look, you look, you look, you look, you look, you look, you look, you look, you look, you look, you look, you look, you look, you look, you look, you look, you look, you look, you look, you look, you look, you look, you look, you look, to natural. She's a low on iron. Okay. Okay. Okay. I don't think my liver is eating itself. Christine, we should be bringing up the Michelle A movie on Netflix. Watched it with a blanket wrapped around me. True lifetime fashion. Oh yeah. Did Katie watch it with you?
Starting point is 00:03:18 She had already thought she saw it, but I'm telling you right now, the opening voice, her voice. Yeah. Katie's like, I can't make it through that movie. And she bailed. Bailed. Really? I was just like, I'm gonna watch it because it's an hour and a half. And then we still...
Starting point is 00:03:31 Little. I mean, it is. When she first shows up, she's like, this is my life. It fucked me up. I was like, what? That's not coming out of that woman. Well, didn't she, did you tell Earth?
Starting point is 00:03:43 She hung in there long enough. Eventually, you'd see that woman get punched in the face over and over again. I didn't, I didn't tell. I mean, if you hate her voice so much, don't worry. There's some repercussions. I thought because we're both friends with Michelle Wolfe, it would be easier to digest. Oh my God. Yeah, don't worry.
Starting point is 00:03:58 She gets spinning back fists the way you were hoping you could do if you heard that voice. I mean, she gets John Claude Van Damned throughout the whole movie. Yeah, he just punched her until she sang. Well, Katie, she's not the only one that doesn't like our voice in that movie. I mean, how hard is it? It's crazy. Just hit play.
Starting point is 00:04:17 Because it's her walking, it's her doing a walk-in talk. Like it is a news piece. Like it's a news magazine. For those who never, yeah, we do a little context. We'll never heard of it. Yeah, a little bonfire context. So Michelle is the often forgotten baby's mama and girlfriend of Dr. Dre and the
Starting point is 00:04:37 NWA era. Mm. And he produced and I think wrote her first at least hits. She had a couple hits nice D and then I was the one that I love Do do do do do do do do do do do do no more lies. I think it's what it's called I'm too young to remember here. I don't remember her at all Song rips though her hit yeah rips play it I mean we'll probably come back with a couple we'll come back in with Michelle I
Starting point is 00:05:11 I'm a baby baby lady And she used her baby voice goodness song. I don't know. I don't like vegetables. They're real gross. That time is too early. It's pajamas and itchy. The basement's scary. D-D- did it, did it, did it.
Starting point is 00:05:47 Dodging haymakers from Drey and the studio. So, but she was the, again, like, a little, apparently, I've been out from this movie, a baby's mother to chug night as well. Crazy. Also didn't know, I mean, we're gonna get into the movie. Yeah. But, so Michelle was the woman basically
Starting point is 00:06:03 in ruthless records. She was the first female sign woman basically in ruthless record. She was the first. She was the first female sign. Her ruthless. Yeah. Yeah. Friends with NWA. She's supposed to be at the Mary J. Blodge bad boy. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:06:14 And then she went. What I mean bad. I was later, but yeah, but she went with Dre because she was his baby's mom to went to death row records. Dude, there's a part. Well, obviously get to it. I cannot wait to watch unauthorized or a not real two-pock rap when they show it. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:06:33 He's like, I'm just mad in these streets. Huh, so mean to me. They're going on. They're not even a real. They're going to come and do. They're all just going to talk like this. So dip a dip with my poetry. So Michelle was in ruthless records dating Dr. Dre.
Starting point is 00:06:49 This is around the time straight out of Compton came out and she was wiped from the movie. Yeah, she seems like such a badass to have been so forgotten. Like I know who she is. You didn't know who she is. She was a badass. We talking about 16. I mean, she could take a punch, but I she was a bad ass. We talk about it. She's only 16 or she could take a punch. But I mean, she definitely didn't throw a glass.
Starting point is 00:07:08 Joe, she never connected. As an artist, she was hanging with a pretty I mean, she was on a major label. She was on a major label. So she was getting beat up by Dr. Dre, but she was also like hanging with, you know, some of the best artists at the time. If your Paul Ice Cube tried to do that with Yo-Yo.
Starting point is 00:07:24 I don't remember that. Remember Yo-Yo, even through her in the move, try to do that with Yo-Yo. I don't remember that. Remember Yo-Yo, even through her in the move. She's even in boys in the hood. I don't remember Yo-Yo, but I also didn't know that Michelle A went on tour with MC Hammer, which we'll get to in the movie. That's pretty cool. MC Hammer, MC Hammer.
Starting point is 00:07:36 Well, this movie is on Netflix, so you can watch it called Surviving Compton. It is a lifetime universe movie. It is, I couldn't believe it. It's an LMU. I mean, it makes sense. Totally, by the way, the camera is. So this is always, when someone puts out a big biopic
Starting point is 00:07:53 and someone's forgotten from it, they always got to answer with theirs. This is 100% told story. Yeah, this is 100% a diss track on Dr. Dre. Oh yeah. That's all this is this is a Fuck you. You're a piece of shit. Shugs not as bad as people think but he's still scary The biggest the biggest biggest thing so if you were cause so Thit we said this before on the show, but the big thing and straight out of Compton and all those movies that reference that stuff
Starting point is 00:08:22 is that Shug Knight was like a, which we call it, one that he came in, that fucking forget what I was gonna say. You're talking about the thing that we talked about with the record deal. Yes, Jerry Heller. Jerry Heller.
Starting point is 00:08:35 Yes, Jerry Heller fucking, he's the villain in all of that. He's a great company. And straight out of Compton, WA. Fabulously played by Paul Giamatti. Yeah, that's right, your cohort. My cohort, my old buddy, my old work pal. But this movie gives a whole different perspective on that. And I'm telling you, if you have to believe a story,
Starting point is 00:08:53 it's easy story, there's Dr. Dre's story, there's ice cube story. I think her story makes the most sense of all of it. There's parts of her story that you're like, that absolutely is the truth. She says, and it also, she dedicates the movie to Jerry Heller. There's also a part of the movie where you could just see when she brings up all of Dre's problems, why when he got a major university,
Starting point is 00:09:13 when he got a major studio to do the end of the movie, he was like, yeah, we're gonna edit some of that out. Yeah, mostly Michelle, he's like, who, I don't know who she is, I would be very, that was your human punching bag of a girlfriend? Yeah, because, oh who I don't know who she is I would be very that was your human punching bag of a girlfriend Yeah, oh, I don't remember she's in my phone is ever last I Would want to go back and watch straight out of Compton to see Where how they erased her because now you know where she was?
Starting point is 00:09:41 He's got a bunch of like babies mama, so he's one of them. Yeah, you're right. In the movie, in Michelle A movies, that one, he shows up at her mom's house, and she's like, how many do you got? And he's like, before you two, three, and you're like, I out loud. That's why the end goes, four, six, crazy. And that's why it makes so much sense.
Starting point is 00:10:01 Bonfire universe makes so much sense when you realize that Dre's son is in that song with Corey Feldman because you're like yeah which one is probably a dr. Dre had that many kids until this movie. Oh either you know he had a great that's Michelle a son dude look it up it's possible well no good that one not no dr. Dre was the 10th place like 12th of the Shulley son, he's Dr. Dre. No, she might have kept him away, not said anything. She may have said it to somebody else. Dr you're gonna hear her get, I mean, I mean, we're gonna play. We're gonna drag like fucking like the Hulk beat up Loki.
Starting point is 00:10:48 It really was. He, Drake was just slamming. I mean, it's almost the music video's most of my favorite parts of the movie. Farge, I was just telling you about it. Just like a hilarious like, all right, dude. Yeah, everything require a good old sock to the jaw. This guy really fanzes everything.
Starting point is 00:11:05 Did you watch it, Lou? No. I mean, it's really like, she's like, I don't think I like this sweater. He's like, let's go talk about it back here. I use your pants. That's crazy. I think I got a one.
Starting point is 00:11:15 I think I got a one. And when she comes out like, Oh, where the sweater? It fits perfect. Because I got a one to one that's gonna tell you that's your favorite sweater on the rack. Let's, let's, Let's sweater's kind of itchy drape. I the rack. Let's, let's, let's, sweaters kind of itchy Dre picked up.
Starting point is 00:11:25 I never mind. Oh yeah, cause easy or something goes like, well then change the sweater and she's like, Dre picked it out. He's like, everything. He's like, that's cool. Excuse me. Can I check for a second?
Starting point is 00:11:34 Yeah. Push it like, can I have your ear real quick? And everyone sits there and just does it, when you make the, when they hear the noise of her getting hit, they just do like the eye squeezes. Like the, there's nine squeezes like this nine kids Drey has nine kids at all That's it did just send me this
Starting point is 00:11:52 Oh, pop up dread oh grandpa, grandpa, grandpa on Drey Jr Is that that's not who the one no Curtis is no you remember Marcel Marcel is the son with Michelle A because she keeps going say his name. Oh, yeah His name is Marcel, but you never say it Curtis is the one that's with Curtis and Dre didn't meet until 20 years after his birth Damn, and he fought he became a rapper under the name hood surgeon, but now he just backed the courtesy Now he found that he's using his dad's name for sure Yeah, yeah, we should have caught it like like nursery or something All right pediatric Trauma nursery dude, I'm pharmacist Ray. I didn't go to all the way through medical school
Starting point is 00:12:36 We're doctor Kurt and doctor Kurt that sounds more like a child's doctor that I'm doctor Kurt I'm doctor Kurt or makes me think of Kirk Metzger being like, you have prescriptions in. Go ahead, take it. I took half. You have a very rare blood disease. Sorry, I took half your pills. I'm gonna sleep.
Starting point is 00:12:54 Hey everyone, sorry. Sorry. I'm gonna give you some good stuff for some Norco. Norco. Okay, fill it out. Thank you. Thank you. Let's, I want to watch the beginning of the movie
Starting point is 00:13:04 because hearing her voice, even though I saw the life time, I saw the clips that you were showing me. So I was expecting the voice. Coming out of, this woman's beautiful. She looks like she should have a sultry voice. Michelle A, the real Michelle A. The real Michelle A is a beautiful woman. Yeah, still very beautiful.
Starting point is 00:13:19 Still very, very beautiful. And like the winter toxic, she's like, it's crazy. It's crazy. Yeah, you, if you saw her in person like it's crazy yeah you if you saw in person a good outside shot you elbow or it's how I felt like I used to love reading Bill Simmons when he was on ESPN 2 and the first time I heard his voice it fucked me up I don't know it's very it's higher and weirder than you think it's gonna be really yeah and you're like I don't know I don't like this god Christine
Starting point is 00:13:42 give us the opening scene I I grew up in South Central. Gangs, guns, and hip-hop, all waiting here. Like summer rain. Yeah. Gangs, rapes, nurse hams. Nothing in my neighborhood. When it goes down. Hey, down here.
Starting point is 00:13:56 It's me, the little mouse. Watch out, you almost stepped on me. L.A. my town. My city, city of angels. But I found out it's mostly devils But she said I think she does she does she does Of course she does play under the bridge go back on she's doing red-eyed showy-bevers Sometimes I feel We have some cheese dude it is
Starting point is 00:14:36 Stuart little yeah Gags guts hip-hop all waiting to explode Welcome to my neighborhood Dr. Drake ends up you wait that doesn't seem real that face matching that voice It looks Dr. Drake, and ZBW. That doesn't seem real. That face, matching that voice, it looks fake. Oh yeah, it does, but. It's real. Yeah, I've known it for years. Does the car is bouncing behind her?
Starting point is 00:14:55 Uh, alright, so, uh, big sleepy, if you could hit the, uh, if you could hit the car up right now, just like the, how they're directing it. Oh, very big artistic expression. This sometimes there's scenes where the girl playing her is doing something like going back to Dr. Dre or something and then actual Michelle is in the room. Walk through it. I wish I would have known that if I went back,
Starting point is 00:15:17 he was gonna keep dealing it. I didn't know his right hook, with staying as bad as it did. I had no idea the whole time we were broken up, he was training. I didn't know you kept a spit bucket next to him. In case he was tied in between rounds. Wasn't one of the storylines that her grandmother told her that.
Starting point is 00:15:34 That's how it starts. That's how the whole movie starts as her grandmother's like, bitch, you better learn how to take a woman. She goes like, if a man don't whoop you, he don't even care. Yeah, which is great. It's all bad. And then she comes back at like 45 and her grandma's like oh, yeah
Starting point is 00:15:49 So stuff to say to your kid you know, I was dumb. Did I say that? I don't know. Sorry. I'm ill now. I built my whole life around the theory grandma I've never oh you dummy. I never got a deep voice because I thought they would hit me more if I did My voice never mature. I didn't want to get hit differently. I didn't want to get hit close fist. Straight out of Compton and into the world. Everybody could ask me, girl, why you ain't in the movie? You was there, you was there with ruthless records, right along with them boys.
Starting point is 00:16:23 That movie ain't about me. That's them telling the story they want to tell History gets told by the winners. I got my own history my own story about a girl from the hood. I am Michelle And this is surviving car really is right away. She's a little kids like girl, baby Let me explain something to you boy's gonna beat your ass boy's gonna whoop your ass things go on love on you find and doing their writing that to like this is good it's good it's good it this is this is the tale to Cory's treatment oh it's just clearly there in the room writing the movie with them and being like you're
Starting point is 00:17:00 not wrong because I'll tell you she's got a chin like a fucking glitch go brother dude. She's rocky I mean he beats her unmercifully the first time that he really goes to work on her in the bed Yeah, which is do you have the time markers? You have time markers. Yeah, cuz that is I got some time markers That is the scene where I was like texting you guys I was like there is there's zero progression in him being abusive is just straight up like viciously emotional. Yeah, one day it was full force because I'm gonna rearrange your face the first time
Starting point is 00:17:30 and then look, sometimes it might not be that bad. So I'm gonna start it bad. And then we're gonna kinda play with it. We're gonna tinker with it. And it'll probably never be worse than that. So that's pretty cool. So like, you got now, you've got your bookends. I didn't hear no bell
Starting point is 00:17:47 You stopped this fight I kill you Michelle a it's easy Michelle a this how fucking droggo is a poly Creek I killed yeah shut up Don't you stop that bell don't you stop this fight easy? She's not getting beat. She's getting mad These ease she's not getting beat she's getting mad Pist come on Yeah, do this movie is just her walking through ass kick ins The entire time. I mean it really does it stops to be like remember this hit Well, I got my ass kicked when they were making it shit. It just goes to the next song where it's, remember this hit? Well, I got my ass kicked when they were making it. Yeah, then it just goes to the next song, where it's like, remember this hit?
Starting point is 00:18:27 Yep, that was me getting beaten the studio on that one. And Drey just walked through it, signed that fucking Apple deal, was like, Michelle who? Oh, he's a billionaire. Michelle B. Remember they filmed the phone call of him finding out he's a billionaire? Yeah, remember when Tyrese almost ruined it?
Starting point is 00:18:43 Ha, ha, ha. That was, yeah, my boy just got the phone made the biggest deal ever. You heard it here, remember when Tyrese almost ruined it? That was... Yeah, my boy just got the phone made the biggest deal ever. You heard it here at first on Tyrese's Instagram. On Facebook. He was a Facebook stream. And he's like, that's it. We got billions of dollars. And Jimmy Iveen and Dre were like fucking tired.
Starting point is 00:18:57 To like Jesus Christ, Tyrese, please stop. Do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do You're wailing on the other room he goes I guess dinner's over. Yeah, we better get on here I'm tired me we see Katie we pull her so I can go okay, you don't have to deal with that Dan comes around the corner and goes good the murder Dan comes to go and goes what are you guys talking about what's up guys nothing dude? You don't put no crazy ideas and Katie's head hey Katie change that sweater I don't think you do can Can you remember Dr. Nia for a second? Kup. Hey Katie, can you walk, Murtle?
Starting point is 00:19:52 I bet it's a locker. I love Katie. I really do. She's family to us now, but there's no way she's got a chin like Michelle A. I don't even think any of the men in this room did it right possible, dude. I'll tell you right now, I'm out.
Starting point is 00:20:06 Oh, you put me right there right there. A guy full mounts me in bed and it takes parts. Five drilling shots to my face dude, I might be going to sleep. Ground and pound in your own bed. Out of nowhere, when you go for a kiss and a hug, doesn't tap, she's gonna ask him to stop. And if that guy was been like,
Starting point is 00:20:24 you want another, she's been like, you want another ship? Yes. Oh wow. Can I have another dish of that? So they showed the kiss? I'd call your mother. The first 10 meetings, the first 10 minutes of the movie of the courting process of like Dre coming by them in the studio, her talking about how singing is the only talent that
Starting point is 00:20:40 guy whoever ran the first group that Dre was with. Found her. A Lanzo, the wrecking crew. Yeah. World class record. that guy, whoever ran the first group that Dre was with, found her. Oh, Alonzo, the wrecking crew. Yeah, world class wrecking crew. She's just singing in a store. Yeah. And he just walks up and is like, man, I love that.
Starting point is 00:20:56 Can you actually go to that? It's one of the first scenes. It's one of the most biopic things I've ever seen in my life. Pretty quick. And then move right here. There it is. By the way, something we should've tapped on the shoulder, I'm like, hey, you should the fuck up life pretty quick and then move right here. There it is By the way, what he should do is tap on the shoulder I'm like hey, you should the fuck up. There's other people shopping in here. Hi mighty mouse I keep singing it full volume in a fucking I mean come on
Starting point is 00:21:19 Miss I'm trying to try on these slacks and I can hear you from the fitting room You can make the she work here because what the fuck is happening? And it is clear, like, these are one of those bad productions where they can't get the right cameras to make it look like the 80s. So they're just like, hey, it's all people and wigs and costumes and you guys will be able to tell. Because the guy that runs the wrecking crew has got the worst wig, like 70s wig. Also, every girl who's made a hip-hop star in these movies Like that's famous now little Kim and stuff when they always start off They're always wearing like some sort of a pants suit. Yeah, why are they always dressed like Murphy Brown? I have no idea
Starting point is 00:21:54 What's their other jobs always? Yes, it junior senators and then they show up and get hired into these bands They're all dressed like they're going to pitch a bill a madam president Excuse me madam president. I heard you singing while you touch that mannequin They're always like it. Did you guys leave fantastic job? Yeah, you guys great We guys steadily in corporate America and the biggie movie like little Kim shows up in the same kind of thing I have a good job. I don't need your shit Yeah, I need like how about this is like get it easy grab back and make you a rapper. She's like okay If you speak fast to suck my dick I'll make you make you get a bunch of surgeries and they carve up your face
Starting point is 00:22:31 I'm not gonna stop. Do you look like dirt? Just to be stream. I've always wanted a real-life gym hence and muppet so I wonder you could take the knife to your face It's until you startling when you walk in a room Yeah, this is her second. This is Michelle. I see it was like black Joe Rivers It's until you startling when you walk in a room Like black Joe Rivers, I don't know it's like dark crystals, but worse You don't remember Joe Rivers read copy That's nepotism New York royalty oh, no shout out Joe Rivers, baby baby. Oh, yo, talk about shit.
Starting point is 00:23:11 Dude, biggie doing CPAP commercials now. If you're still alive, yo. He's like, if you're just going to kick in New York. I guess, but I'm sleeping like a papa. I think he's going to go, ah, ah, I guess. Hear that? Hear that? That's my spot.
Starting point is 00:23:29 Seepap's gone. Oh. You seepap worked. Oh, that was me 10 years ago. You sound fine. Oh. Oh, ah, look at that. Oh, right up.
Starting point is 00:23:39 Also, my saidaka. Clean it up. Let's go to my type 2 diabetes is subsided. Sleep is the biggest healer. Alex Trebek, you're right. We should get a reverse mortgage. Oh, thanks for bringing that up. King of trivia.
Starting point is 00:23:54 From the King of New York to the King of trivia. Jimmy Walker ain't just talking shit. He's being honest. If you want to get your pills at discount prices and Medicaid's not covering you What happens if you fall down but your homies ain't there to pick you up Life alert yo Oh, I'm a big man. Starting point is 00:24:30 face was like. He was either saw Jesus or the ring video on Razal Google. I turn the corner. Did you find him peacefully asleep? He goes, oh, it was, he was dead. Quite off. He did look peaceful. Quite opposite. I found him petrified. And look, he was lurching away from something that was coming at him. I think what he was looking at was not human. Maybe like a clover field or something. It seems like he was looking at something he's never seen before. I just went with Jesus. I went shock and awe. Because Frank, it's me Jesus. Oh, you're Middle Eastern. God, this is her in the store, meaning Lonzo. This is her just out on the floor. The lady who's working on a

It's a little disturbing for the guests, I think, right? I think if you're out buying a suit, I wouldn't like a woman all squawking around. Damn, I would hate that if I was sure to buy a suit. I'd interrupt somebody fucking singing religious anthem.
Starting point is 00:26:19 And then you could hit with that mouse voice? Hey, yeah, help you with, oh, go back to singing. Okay, she's like, and we're welcome to man's warehouse. Where if you're gonna love it, I guarantee you. Why did she sing? Oh, because watching she doesn't go ahead, she's, we have suits, text, see that.

It's in the background I'm not gonna complain, but come on. This is doing, it's sitting in the background. I'm not gonna complain, but I mean, like, what the fuck?
Starting point is 00:27:27 This is the only place in Los Angeles area I can get designed suits like this. This guy's in their bind as soon as he's got it on a jacket, no shirt. Love it, love that combo. I would fucking kill to be able to comfort when not sweating through that jacket. I trust like that every week is scary. I'm gonna throw a jacket, open jacket, it chains on. Hell yeah. Oh my god, the comfort. Sweating through that jacket. I dress like that every week is going

Now here's the better thing. It over-analyze this is,
Starting point is 00:31:10 we need a couple hours that the girl dropped out. Me, I was in here casually hanging out at a suit store. Buying socks. Socks, not a suit. Happened to be buying socks. Yeah, he says, I'll just do to get socks. Just to hurt you a little bit. He goes, he goes, yeah, we need to get socks. He goes, yeah, I was just do to get socks Just to hurt your little kid long pass. Yeah, I'm here to get socks. He goes
Starting point is 00:31:26 Yeah, I was just buying some socks in between dealing with the problem of we paid for studio time and our girl singer dropped out completely But I'm gonna go pick I'm just gonna go grab some socks and figure out something easy and dry and rent and Yellow they all knew if I go buy socks It these clouds will clear up. Starting point is 00:32:03 Just process the fuck is going to buy socks. He didn't got a shirt on there is jack we need a singer a female singer let Lonzo buy So you better go buy an undershirt I can sweat through that jacket when they all be out I made a record before yeah, but you can say no really you didn't I thought you made a ton of records selling Yeah, but you can say really I thought you made a ton of records selling Suites here. Starting point is 00:32:41 Fuck you can give her a slap I'm a different guy. Two more minutes with you. I'm telling you I couldn't help back. What is it about you? That's so terrible. I don't know man. I just want to put five right in your face. I don't know what it is. You seem like a lovely person. I don't know. You've really helped her with these socks. You made the experience pleasant with the singing, but I don't know what it is, but I just wanna turn my hips and I wanna follow through. He goes, you open your mouth, and I mean, I wanna give you,
Starting point is 00:33:11 not even like a lesson teacher, like a real put you down. Like, you're coming from my family. Yeah. I'm like, you're the... I wanna hit you like it's me or you. I mean, I'm talking about a real phone booth fight. We're in a phone booth and we're
Starting point is 00:33:25 battling it out. Um, all right. What time markers do you have? Because then she goes, do you have anything from when she goes and sings for the first time? Dre is just kind of shitty newer to the whole time. Go. You like that voice, but then she sings and everyone's like, she's great. Right away. They think she's great. They do the thing that was she's trying to learn. They always do this in biopics where they're like, you gotta sing, just like, I don't know how. And they're like, we need it. We need it right now. She's like, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who What's what happens? She ends up singing. She sings good. She sings very good. Before you turn off the lights. Just get one thing on the...
Starting point is 00:34:27 Is she lip-syncing the whole money? Right? Him you can. Yes, she's lip-syncing Michelle, actually. She's doing the actual. What's up to do with girl? Kazama, hell of a wha-ma. Great lip-synker.
Starting point is 00:34:40 Half of me is twice a hell of a man. You think that was the audition? 100%. Wait, hold on. See, Dr. Dre is like, oh man. I could beat the shit really. I Think that was the audition 100% Wait hold on, and Dr. Dre is like oh man, I could beat the shit really Really fuck this lady's life What if he's not even paying attention to music goes you think if I punch in a face hard enough the headphones will still stay in the air for a second Do you think I think a puncher ran out of the headphones bet me I can't easy. I bet I could punch a so hot you wraps around my face. Is he goes, I don't know, man. You guys, tell you, a clock at three seconds
Starting point is 00:35:09 those headphones are near before they drop. That's how fast I'm gonna knock out of them. Quick, let's do a abuse rodeo. Hey, Ren, you want some of this? Yeah, you wanna get a slice of it? Nah, man, she already beat up. Nah, man, you already hit it. She already beat it.
Starting point is 00:35:23 Nah, she got a little heel up a little bit. Them and stuff. Plex and low leg kicks on her. Ta, moitai. I had to sing from the orient. Yeah. Yeah. You guys, Dre, where you been all day doing some tracks?
Starting point is 00:35:33 You like, nah, I've been moitai, callising up my shins. They've been rolling out my nerves with a cookie dough roller. Making sure all my nerves are gone on my shins so I can really snap this thing in the room. I'm trying to release if I can crack a rib or something with my legs. Do you remember do you remember a kickboxer with Tom Poe Was kicking the wall? That's basically what I was doing basically. I'm doing but I'm gonna ship a Michelle a's my my Tom Poe wall So instead of a wall it's Michelle a yeah
Starting point is 00:35:58 Um, oh my minute markers because I don't know if these are jumping around too much. I hope not go by times I don't know I have them in order, but I've got a... Whatever you get. Here's a great thing about the show. Wherever you land, we'll just go from there. I got five stamps. Okay. That'll probably take us through the whole show. Probably. Christine, if you go through the whole... I put this in because I wrote, this is what I wrote. 31 minutes in a surviving content, Dr. Dre's violin. Okay, hold on. Now that's the scene. Wait, hold on. 27 minutes was the first scene. I've always had a passing interest in numerology.
Starting point is 00:36:30 No, that wasn't. That's him getting shitty. He's not liking her shining. Got it. Go to, go earlier, a little Christine, if you could go to where they meet the guy that the movie is dedicated to. Jerry Heller.
Starting point is 00:36:43 Played by Jamie Kennedy. Which I did not notice. A Jamie Kennedy turn. Because you think this movie wasn't more, that was my first thing. I was like, how is this movie not like a bigger story? So this one, like, is it? So this one, like, is it? Yeah, show the scene where Jamie Kennedy's right here on the bus.
Starting point is 00:36:57 This is it, because this is how it jumps around with their like, this is it, guys, now you're on tour. Now you're rich. Now there's going to be a bunch of naked white women around for some reason. We got five cities in five days, okay? You're gonna be tired, hungry, grumpy, and smelly. Guess what? I don't give a shit.
Starting point is 00:37:17 Oh man, Jerry, please. We want you to deliver on that stage. I'll get you all the booze, sleep, and showers at you, man. What about bitches? That you're gonna do it, you're all bitches ain't my job. Let's roll! Is he doing a Chicago accent? I don't know.
Starting point is 00:37:34 You guys, I'm gonna have you naked on this bus like it's the Amistad. I'm gonna have you and tap if you chutter, sweatin'. Yeah. So it's a little bit of a problem. Well, he thought he probably was hoping when he got a role in this movie, he was gonna be one of the NWA guys. There he goes.
Starting point is 00:37:49 Am I gonna be like a yellow? And like now, Jamie, you're gonna have to play a white guy who knows he's white in this one. He goes man from Malibu's most wanted day. Jerry Heller. Oh man, that's wack. I'm playing Jerry Heller-Deeam. Still remember his name.
Starting point is 00:38:02 I'll write a slam poem. His opening joke for a premium blend was like, I was eating a pizza slice and it was like, it was my premium blend. That was your premium blend. He hosted my premium blend, yeah. But did he do that bit? He only hosted one premium blend.
Starting point is 00:38:17 He only hosted one episode. So, oh yeah. Yeah. That was your premium blend, dude. I remember that joke. I remember that he hosted the whole season. I think he did the whole season It was so bad. I was in college watching that being like this is very bad I don't know and then that's the season I did though. I don't know anything about staying up and I was wrong
Starting point is 00:38:34 By the way Paramount plus or we've got Paramount plus. You know both of our specials are on there Yeah, I knew that is premium blood on there. Yeah, all of Premium the half hour my half hour man They got to put premium blend up there. It's great. Premium bun was so great It like who's on your premium blend? Shit, I don't remember Lisa Landry. Okay. I don't remember the other person I remember Patrice's was Patrice Goldman in someone right. I think like Lori Kymarton It might have been I don't know, but it was it's like
Starting point is 00:39:05 Yeah, premium blend was pretty cool premium one fucking ruled Really I got it was Lowell Sanders Nathan Tre home Lisa Landry J. O'Coursen 2005. Yeah season eight Six years in the comedy I was in Tucson. I was a year in the comedy. I was six years in yeah I was in Tucson, I was a year in the comedy. I was six years in. Yeah, so weird. And he did it as the whole season. I would binge fucking premium blends, go watch all of them
Starting point is 00:39:31 because that nostalgia, I loved Comedy Central Presents too. I was so mad when they switched it to half hour. I got it the second year. The half hour. It was called the half hour. I wanted a Comedy Central Presents. Yeah, I think Jay, you were the last year where you could pick your set design.
Starting point is 00:39:44 Yeah, because after him They went to the just regular designs. Yeah, they like did it with everybody. Yeah, because I remember Becky Hone I think that it is Becky Hone and Nate yeah, and they were both like I remember the year they didn't get it The year after you was Kurt Kurt did his after you right? Mm-hmm. Because I went to Kurt's taping with Tom Rhodes me and Joe lists sat up in the fucking roof and like in the ceiling and watched Because it was like all the way at the top. But then Vecchio and Nate, the next year, that was when I started living with Vecchio
Starting point is 00:40:10 and he got mad he didn't get it. Him and Nate didn't get half hours. Both of them didn't get it. And then went to Nate's and got fucking hammered in Queens on that back patio. Like Nate was like, I think we drank an 18 pack and I had a kid in that night. And then the next year they got it,
Starting point is 00:40:25 it was you were the last year, because then, or no, Kurtz was the last year. After, of, of, of, of, of designing your own sets. Of, of designing your own sets. We don't have his own set. Yeah, he had nothing, because it's Kurt. Yeah. But Tom Rhodes had like a, a thing. A little thing. And then after that,
Starting point is 00:40:39 it switched to the half hour. And they didn't let anybody, but I wanted to present so bad, the the Comedy Central like the wording was because I watched the tell the Apollo Tree spur or so many people yeah, you're just I remember going to your I've talked about so the time it tells like the bombing behind them Yeah, it's got the coming. It's got the planes bombing and he does the if I want advice I'm not asking a guy with one tooth, I'm asking a guy with one leg. Is it slippery? You know that joke?
Starting point is 00:41:08 But he's got information. Yeah, he's got information I can use. But going to your premiere at Stand Up New York, I've told the stories so many times, but it was the most scared I've ever been. It felt like I was at the big boy party in high school. It felt like I went to a high school party when I was in middle school.
Starting point is 00:41:24 That was Chuck's bout, Dan. Yeah, and I bombed so fucking hard on the second show. Oh, nine it came out. Oh, eight. Oh, eight. So I was in the city for like a maybe a year and a half at that point. You were working for Daniel Laws.
Starting point is 00:41:38 At that point, that was only the first six months in 07. And then I realized what she was doing was a bringer, and I was like, this is gross. And they're like, you can bark. And I was like, I'd rather bark. And I just went and barked for three months than quit. Because it sucked. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:41:51 Dude, just standing outside on the couch. Oh, it's comedy. Well, I've comedy. Do you guys want to see live comedy? We got a comics from HBO Showtime Comedy Central. Joe. Joe List would host the whole night. He would start at seven.
Starting point is 00:42:02 And the Daniela show would go to like two in the morning. And Joe would just host. And I would just sit, I found out if I sat on that stool in the front, I could hang with you and whoever came around, but I could technically I was barking. So like if like PJ or someone came out, I could just be like, comedy show, comedy show, and then people would walk behind and be like, I'd try to get in the conversation with Jay and Nate. I'd be like, Oh, you guys talk about? What's that? But then Christy, Christy, the red-haired waitress that worked there at that time would give Joe and I massive shots of Jamison. Like if we ran to the back bar, she's like, you guys want some Jamison and she'd pour like fucking double
Starting point is 00:42:43 Boston County Club. Yeah, when he was village on the ground It was comedy village and and I'd go all the way to the back and she would pour like fucking thick shots And that made Barkin so much easier I'm just out of this to you like comedy. I'm like lippy. I'm like that's a nice Jagger miss We're so in a tangent, but it's so fight even think I those clubs when you walked in it was so like This is my club. I worked this club all the time and it doesn't exist anymore., but it's so funny to even think of those clubs when you walked in, it was so like, this is my club, I worked this club all the time, and it doesn't even exist anymore.
Starting point is 00:43:07 Now it's a restaurant. Yeah. I did a show below it at what was the baguette. And it was like, man, I remember, but I remember going to your Comedy Central Presents, because Wayne would give me check spots. And that was up in Stan. Stan of New York.
Starting point is 00:43:21 And they're like, it's a big night, it was a Friday, it was like a fucking big deal. Patrice was there Kurt Nate everybody was there for and it was like you know for your half hour Yeah, and Wayne was like you know running around like a mother like he was like the sandwiches are here We've got Jay sandwiches. We've got the sodas classic Wayne and he did Yeah, there's a lot of reason for Jay did love Wayne Oh God roll down the record yeah, yeah, yeah, like a like a doding like a doding Jewish mother.
Starting point is 00:43:48 That's exactly the energy that Wayne had when you went. He's like, everything's got to be perfect. The problem was he's gonna smoke a joint that he's gonna go on stage. Yeah. They're gonna pull it down and then everyone's gonna watch the same problem. The same problem. I was like, go. The same problem was that he would go then he would go to like the like Z like the Z rock premiere party the one time I couldn't be there and a whole time his beyond goes guys. I'm here with we're here for with Jay Okerson and his
Starting point is 00:44:12 Mrs. Jay Okerson like with Carla with his Carla would tell me she was like, oh God. He was like so Maybe there is some more sangria back there you can find But it was but that night he nailed it. It was so fucking fun. And I remember I did the first check spot and I thought I was done. I was like excited because, I mean, it still is this. You are one of the most fun people to hang around.
Starting point is 00:44:36 That's why when you go on the road, I still feel this way. And we've been close friends for 15 years. But I'm telling you, you still have that. You still have that ability of like, I still feel that of like being'm telling you you're like you still have that you still have that ability of like I still feel that of like being around Jay and you're like this fun. Jesus like Jesus like super fun and he's funny and it's always like so when you're a young comic
Starting point is 00:44:54 Jay's very nice. He's a nice guy No one's like that New York City everyone's a dick when you're fucking barking and it's, I understand it now, cause Todd Lynn, Todd Lynn, a lot of people hate Todd Lynn. I loved Todd Lynn, cause Todd Lynn kind of understood what I was trying to do before anybody where he's like, so do or walk with me. Shut the fuck up, like, you know what I mean? When you're around other comics, shut the fuck up.
Starting point is 00:45:19 Just listen, no one wants to hear and open micers take on a new special. He would always say that shit. When we go down to the boat day, go by the village under, by the comedy village, you'd get like, he'd get a coffee and shit. And he'd be like, people hate me. Cause I said, I knew he was a dick.
Starting point is 00:45:34 He was a dick, but I liked him. But everyone else would be like, shut up, open micer. Derozo is one of them, but Derozo liked me. Yeah. I don't know, I've never been that, but you know what? It's funny, we did the, in the intern, the Woke Turn Olympics for leading this game,
Starting point is 00:45:50 it's one of the questions in a lot of tech-reality. We used everybody if they liked me more than Lewis. Yeah. And these are people that are like, they're Lewis disciples essentially, and they're all like, yes. But what's, and the ones that said no, finally we were lying.
Starting point is 00:46:03 Yeah. It's like me more. But what's crazy is because of you, I met Lewis and Nate. In like, Doroz, Doroz, I met because he was just doing stand-up and I was, Doroz was super funny. So I was just like, oh, fuck, it was fun coming from Tucson because I was seeing comics that it wasn't just like one or two headliners that were funny.
Starting point is 00:46:21 Everyone was funny. You saw I'd watch Doroz, I'd watch you, I'd watch Kurt and I'd be like, these guys are were funny. Everyone was funny. You saw him watch the Rose on, watch you or watch Kurt and I'd be like, these guys are fucking unbelievable. This is crazy. And then your special night was like, kind of, I would say the peak of stand up New York. That was fun times.
Starting point is 00:46:36 After you're, after you're special, Wayne got fired after Montreal, RIP, Crackhead, Scott, Scott, who looked like Chuck Norris on drugs. He was a mess. I think I came in right after Crackhead Scott, Scott, who looked like Chuck Norris on drugs. He was a mess. I came in right after Crackhead Scott. Yeah, you did. Because it was you, Benji, and Becky.
Starting point is 00:46:53 You guys had a Benji? I brought in Becky and Mitch, and then when I left Becky, started managing. Yeah, you guys got it back up to the weekends where Pack was. I thought we had, we really like, a good team going in the family little bit. They were the best to me. You guys were the ones where I started doing spots. Yeah. Where they were like, oh, Sotars ran.
Starting point is 00:47:10 Like, like I would fill in. Yeah, but we came like a working comic. Yeah, it was, it was, stand up, I mean, stand up in New York is where I started because I would go there because Mike Britt early on in my career told Wayne, he's like, I like this kid dance otter. I haven't do the checks whenever I'm hosting on the weekends. And I got that call and I was like, I was in that same apartment in the story and he's like, Wayne's like, Hey pal, so here's the deal.
Starting point is 00:47:34 Mike Britt wants you to do check spots. And I was like, and he called me, he's like, Jay's big premiere thing. It really was. Now that I'm saying it out loud, your comedy central presents was the peak of stand-up New York Because it had I mean dude Nate was God it's first weekend spot that night. I don't know if you remember that No, it sounds like Wayne. Oh, I'll it. Yeah Wait like Nate got like Nate was nervous. I
Starting point is 00:48:02 Remember that night and I wasn't that close with Nate and And Nate's like, I mean, I'm doing like, he was talking to Justin. Justin was hosting. Haley Boyle was on it. Boyle. It was like a. I missed Haley Boyle. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:48:14 Patrice was closing it. It was you check spots, Patrice. And then I did the first show and I was like, this is awesome. You see, it's too much of a tan. You see Haley said, did the TikTok that says, uh, Schumer stole all of her jokes? Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:48:29 Yeah. I haven't watched, I haven't watched the full thing. That's all right. Oh, I mean, what, like, from, why don't you just like the act? I think these are from like, like the last specials. No, no, no, I don't know. I feel like it's going back to like 2004 or something. Yeah, but, um, but Jay but Jay's special thing was like,
Starting point is 00:48:47 I remember being like, I felt like I was at the party and then I'd finish the check spot. So they're like, yeah, hang out. So I smoked weed with them outside. I smoked weed steaks from 99 miles of Philly. Yeah, it was in cheese steaks. I got, I was starting to get drunk. Rick was bartending, so he was just hookin' me up
Starting point is 00:49:04 with free drinks. Rest in peace Rick. He's one of the best, one of my favorite people in comedy of all time, and I'm getting hammered, and then Justin was like, I didn't know Justin. And Justin's got that aggressive attitude. And I'm like, yeah, and I'm coming out signing, he goes, hey, I need a cheque spot, and I knew I was fucked up. I was like, uh, yeah, I thought I was just doing the eight o'clock and he's like, Hey, do you want a spot or not? And that was the
Starting point is 00:49:28 sentence where I was like, I'll do it. I'll do it. And I fucking bombed in front of Patrice. It was one of the hardest bombs I've ever had in my life. I bombed so fucking hard. I was so ashamed that I got off stage. I've told you this. I've got off stage called my girlfriend Annie at the time. I was smoking cigarette and I was like, I've told you this, I've got off stage called my girlfriend Annie at the time, I was smoking cigarette and I was like, I want a quick comedy, I just bombed in front of everyone in New York that I like and she was like, ah, it's all right and then I was like, all right fine, fucking, I'll go back in, she's like, go back in and try to have fun. Everybody knew though that it was a cheque spugged, but I, you know, you don't know, yeah, you know, I was like, these guys,
Starting point is 00:50:00 I was, everyone was expecting something here and I let them down. Yeah, and then, no one care. like these guys, everyone was expecting something here and I let them down. And then, no one care. Show comes to an end, Wayne gets all the comics and everybody inside, they roll down the screen. Kurt was dating Karen Margolis. I know that for a fact because I was sitting across the table from and I got drunk after I bombed
Starting point is 00:50:18 and then I had a full Budweiser. And I bumped my Budweiser and it went over the table and spilled into Karen in Kurt's lap. Yeah, and I was like fuck fuck fuck and I picked it up. I was like, I'm so sorry in Kurt's like, you know when Kurt gets into a situation He's like, what the fuck? What the fuck? Oh my god, dude, it was you know, you know, I got this guy had pissy pants Yeah, I had to go I just sat you remember where the curtain was in the corner like when you walked through the curtain in the room I just sat in that corner and watched and was like, uh, yeah, I can't believe I really fucked this up.
Starting point is 00:50:50 That's just crazy. It's crazy. Like those are the memories I'm like. You don't have to throw a party for sure. That was so fun and that special, so fucking fun. It was like you had the different color, like almost like rock posters in the back. Yeah, dude.
Starting point is 00:51:05 You did the fucking hand job from a lesbian in Alaska. Good times. Yeah, dude. These were good times. Puerto Rican guy banging on the thing, you're like, I don't know how he got there. Maybe. I was in so funny.
Starting point is 00:51:16 2008 was like the economy fallout. Yeah. And it was one of my pinnacle moments. It was like the pinnacle before it went into the dry spell for like another decade. Or so, do you know what I mean? Yeah, like five years. It was like, but I was like, it's like premium blend, young and comedy too. I guess I was. We did premium premium blend, Comedy Central Presents, and then you had Xeroch. And then I did Xeroch, you had right exactly. I had all this and then just like, but in 2008,
Starting point is 00:51:44 particularly, I got it was when I did the nasty show, which did get, yeah, right, exactly. You know, I had all this and then just like, but no, but in 2008, particularly, I got a, it was when I did the nasty show, which did get me in with like, that was huge. Like, yeah, because I wanted to do new faces, nothing. But when I did the nasty show Patrice, that was that year also. I think I was a guy that asked to do a gal, like they were to do a gal also.
Starting point is 00:52:00 And then like, Z Rock and then the thing, you're going on tour with Corn, like those, that you know, that was that year too. No, it was like 2008 2000 like 10 is when all that happened then 2010 Z Rock didn't get renewed. Yeah, and then it was just like whatever I was gonna I'm still doing comedy the whole time and I was just like oh did you were kind of like you really didn't follow up enough on your Premium blend and half hour and shit so like we're kind of done with you I but then you know five years, David Tell kept me alive. Yeah, comedy underground.
Starting point is 00:52:30 That's where this show was born. Yeah. It was at the taping of comedy underground with David Tell. I was talking to cool dad. Really? And now I was like, that's the exact place at the village underground, where he was like, I was like, who was your favorite episode? Cause I was there to see Vecchi on tape.
Starting point is 00:52:47 And he's like, oh, big J set last night. I was like, I was here for Big J set. I was like, big J and I just started a podcast. And he's like, what? He's like, you haven't released it yet, right? I was like, no, he's like, don't release it. I'll reach out to you guys. And that's when Kimmelwitz put together.
Starting point is 00:53:00 That's great. Memory is dude. Sweet memory. And that's when I realized that I can sing ever release those original tapes. Now. Now we never release that. That might be fun. There's under the train tapes.
Starting point is 00:53:17 Yeah. I think you can find the 10 minutes of, uh, of what they gave. Game what they gave Comedy Central to get us to show. Yeah, we could get that for sure Got a female problem that fucking pitch that comedy central had when I first walked in because they brought me in And they were like we want you to host comedy clips And then you can toss it to Jay and he'll host comedy clips and then if we're lucky I was back to back shows. I don't know, I don't know, the thing I got was like, you met with them first,
Starting point is 00:53:47 but they told my agent they were like, yeah, we want them each to do like a clip hosting show. And then they can guess star on each other's clip. But they thought they thought it was a great idea. They were so fucking proud of themselves in the pit room when they were like, so. They said like after a year or something, they go after six months, maybe one of you guys can go on each other's show. So guess, but then I was like, and like after a year or something they go after six
Starting point is 00:54:05 months maybe one of you guys can go on each other show guess but then I was like and then like a year so we can see what you guys chemistry and we're like this is insane. Didn't you isn't this idea based on the idea of me and Dan talking on the on the video or the audio you were giving only time I've ever stood up for myself probably in my life and I went will you guys just get out of the way and they went what? And I was like, just get out of the way. Just let Jay and I do an hour together. That was wacky.
Starting point is 00:54:29 And it was whiskey when we left. He was like, that is one of the funniest shows that are done. Yeah, you guys were on Deniable after we did our test shows. The six shows. Like, yeah, fucking tell us something's wrong with that, decay. Yeah, I think.
Starting point is 00:54:40 But whiskey, did people look like cake? Yeah, but yeah, and we just talked about like tasting dead people and shit. I was also a few calls. Sometimes I was running in here in between rehearsals for hot music. I forgot. That's when we went to hall the musical. That's when I heard David Spade till this day still made me laugh when Bill Dawes does that. He was like, the sexually creepy comic in the musical.
Starting point is 00:55:01 And then he's like, hitting on a girl and this is David Spade behind me. We're watching the Matt and he goes, okay. That was Casey Bosch and walked out. All right. All right. I remember that was the best show. We broke the news that Robin Williams had passed on one of those pretty early news. Really?
Starting point is 00:55:19 Choke jerk. Choke, we didn't start choke jerk then though. No, we went back though. It was. It was it was Anyways, that's our surviving Compton, but don't worry. That's our surviving. That's our surviving series Lot of big names have been here Well, that's story how it's done. Oh, be it easy. We're talking about people that could really do it But that's not why we're here
