So I'm going to walk you through what it really takes to create six figures in your business. And the way I'm going
Starting point is 00:01:29 to do it is by explaining to you the Boss Babe success framework. So we designed this framework to create incredible success and abundance in our businesses and our personal lives when we were scaling the business. And so with that, we are going to dive straight in to talking about how you can scale your business to six figures using the Boss Babe Success Framework. A Boss Babe is unapologetically ambitious and paves the way for herself and other women to rise, keep going and fighting on. She is on a mission to be her best self in all areas. It's just believing in yourself. Confidently stepping outside her comfort zone to create her own vision of success. So I'm going to talk you through the framework and all of the different elements within it.
Starting point is 00:05:45 So you have five sections to this framework. You have purpose, audience, revenue, systems, and growth. And I'm going to talk you through every single one of those and we'll go one at a time. So we're going to start with purpose. So purpose is the idea and the alignment stage. So that's figuring out exactly what you're passionate about and then deciding if you want your business to align with your passion. That's not always how it needs to be, but it's important to make that decision. So we have completely different reasons for starting companies. I run Boss Babe because it is what I am deeply passionate about, but I've created businesses in the past because there's been a gap in the
Starting point is 00:06:24 market and it's a product maybe that I wanted to use. So when you're in the purpose stage I want you to get really really clear on setting smart goals for the next six months to one year and three years and then create your business map. So figure out exactly how you want to get from A to B because let's face it you're not going to get in the car for a road trip somewhere new without any kind of map or plan. You'll get lost, it'll be frustrating, it will take way longer but that being said, it doesn't mean that you can't stop off at new places on the way or take new routes when they seem appealing to you. In this stage, it's really important to think big and set your goals. You're really setting the tone of what you're going out there to do. And one thing that I see a lot of people getting tripped up on in this stage is they create so many goals that they actually don't know where they're going and they're working on so many
Starting point is 00:07:14 things at once. So in this stage, it is so important for you to get really, really clear on your absolute core focus. One product, one service, one thing. What's the one thing that you are going to run with and scale? Because you're going to put all of your energy into that one thing. Super, super important, okay? So get your ideas in alignment, figure out your purpose and really get so, so clear on your core focus. I cannot stress that enough and you are going to commit to yourself that you're going to consistently work towards that goal with this core focus for however long it takes. Okay. So purpose stage, getting really clear, getting focused. And so even if you've been running your business for months or years, I would love to invite you just to really visit where you're at right now in terms of focus what is your absolute
Starting point is 00:08:05 core focus or do you recognize that you've been doing so many different things that it's actually been really hard for you to focus I see a lot of people coming to me who are in IGN saying hey I want to grow two different accounts at the same time is this a good idea and I'll pretty much always say no there obviously are some circumstances where it might be the best option but I'll pretty much always say no and the reason is it can be challenging just to do one account. It can be challenging just to make one thing a success. So if you start throwing a million different things into the mix, you're going to do them all at an average level, as opposed to doing one thing like really, really well. And you and I both love to do things really really well so that's the first area of the
Starting point is 00:08:45 Boss Babe Success Framework purpose and then next we're going to move on to audience so the audience stage is all about building audience and community and it's really important to be aware that in order to build you must first understand so this is not a numbers game it's a game of targeting just like darts a targeted community of 10,000 will create more revenue than a non-targeted community of 100,000. Trust me when I tell you, you do not need hundreds of thousands of followers to make hundreds of thousands of dollars.
Starting point is 00:09:16 And I'm just going to say it louder for all you in the back. You do not need hundreds of thousands of followers to make hundreds of thousands of dollars, okay? You seriously don't. If you've got 10,000 followers who are super targeted and are really, really engaged and are your ideal clients, you're going to be able to monetize that. In this kind of stage of your plan, you really want to be building influence within your niche. So to do this, it's really important to position yourself as a thought leader.
Starting point is 00:09:48 And if you want to build influence, you need to prove that you are worthy of the influence. So where is the value that you are sharing? Are you the person that they should be listening to? Get so, so good that you totally blow their socks off and start just building your first 1,000 raving fans. That's all I want you to focus on. 1,000 raving fans. These people should be following you on social. They should be journaling your mailing list and being excited about everything you are releasing because they know you are the real deal. In all of these areas, by the way, I could speak for hours and hours about how to do it, but you came here to talk about achieving six figures and scaling your biz. So that's where we're going to keep hopping onto all the different areas of the framework. But in the audience framework, like I said, you really want to be
Starting point is 00:10:29 dialing in your social media strategy. And I want to be seeing you post so much value. So doing those mini trainings that I talk about in your stories, every single day, sharing that value in your stories, pulling out your camera and solving problems that you know your ideal client is facing because people are going to hire those people that are solving their problems. I want you to show them that you are worthy of being hired because look how much value you're sharing. I also really want you to be showing the results that you're getting for people. So really, really sharing results. I always say it, but the best way to get clients on social media is to be sharing your results. And so with that, it's going to move us into the third area of the Boss Babe success framework,
Starting point is 00:11:12 which is revenue. Let's take a quick pause to talk about my new favorite all-in-one platform, Kajabi. And now when I talk about six figures, I am talking about six-figure profit. I am not interested in gross revenue. You might see some people sharing online, I made 10k today, I made 100k last year. What I'm really interested in is how much profit they made. Because you could be making $100,000, but if it's costing you $90,000 to make those $100,000, then do you really have that good of a business model? I would argue no. So we're talking about profit. So revenue is complete vanity. Remember this, profit is sanity and cash is king. So this means you need to be making real
Starting point is 00:12:52 profit because like I said, your gross profit could be six or seven figures, but if it's costing you the same amount of money to even generate these figures, you are not profitable. Cash is king and it always will be. And this is cash in in the bank the money that you can see and that you can touch and it's important to be bringing in these high profit levels so you need to understand your online sales levers it's really really important to perfect the art of selling yourself and your business sales is not something cringy it is the absolute lifeblood of your business if you can't bring in sales how can you even operate so your launch campaigns should be really worthy of bringing in five and six figures. And the good news is with the right training, you could literally be doing this tomorrow. So revenue is super, super important, like I said, and the best
Starting point is 00:13:36 way that you can be creating revenue is by sharing results. Seriously, it's so, so easy to be creating revenue when you're sharing results. And if you don't have results, I really encourage you to give your product out for free in return for testimonials, whether that's like physical products or services, you could be posting in like niche Facebook groups to find your absolute ideal client and really be sharing that. So just to recap, we've had purpose, audience and revenue so far. So in the purpose area, I really want you to be getting super clear on what niche you operate in, who you actually are targeting, who you're trying to attract, what your core focus is. In audience, I want you to be
Starting point is 00:14:18 focusing on building those 1,000 raving fans through sharing so much value by sharing the viral kind of content that I talk about all the time by getting out in front of your audience. Then to build revenue I want you to be sharing your results like crazy, like seriously. I don't want to be looking at your profile and not seeing results because it's hard to build trust and to get sales when people can't see actual results of your product or services. The next part of the Boss Babe Success Framework is systems. So when we talk about systems, we mean creating systems for scalability. This encompasses so many things and can honestly sound
Starting point is 00:14:56 really boring to some, but it's so important to get right. So firstly, it means that you're getting completely legal. Okay, you need to be legal so that's the privacy policies on your website all of those things this is actually why we give you that legal advice within the society we have lawyers who are in the facebook group and we give you free downloadable privacy policies terms and conditions all of those things that you need that might cost you thousands of dollars to get from your lawyer because it's really important. Also included in systems is automating your business system. So automation is what creates leverage. So I'm going to say that again. Automation is what creates leverage. So making sure that your business is
Starting point is 00:15:36 working for you and you are not working for it. You should always be looking to automate processes that drain your time but aren't profit generating. This type of lean business model is a winner. This is what helped us scale from zero to six figures, from six to seven, and seven to multiple seven. We're not quite at the eight. We're very close. We'll be there soon. This is exactly how we scale and we have a really small team and we have so much time leverage. It's because we run our business very lean and we use great software. So I always recommend leveraging accounting software to manage your finances. I think on any given day, you should really have a clear snapshot of how your finances are looking. So always staying on top of your money so that you understand how profitable you are.
Starting point is 00:16:19 And then on top of this, my favorite organizational tools are Asana evernote slack and zapier i use all of these to manage systems and i kind of manage my systems and processes to do everything in asana i keep notes and documents in evernote and it means wherever i am by the way i have the asana and evernote app so i could be anywhere i just pull out my phone and i've got everything that i need on there and then i streamline all the team communication in Slack. We bring every single person into Slack, even if they're freelancers, even if they're just consulting with us,
Starting point is 00:16:50 they are in Slack. Saves so much time going back and forth on text or email or calls, meetings. Slack is the best. They're all free as well, which is awesome. And then I use Zapier to link everything up. So if you don't know what Zapier is, head to the website and check it out.
Starting point is 00:17:06 It's Zapier, Z-A-P-I-E-R.com or you can check out If This Then That. If you go through there, you'll be able to see tons of different Zaps that they've already created for you and you'll just log in and hook up your accounts and it's gonna save you so much time. So there's just tons of little hacks.
Starting point is 00:17:23 You could get sent your revenue numbers every single morning to you on Slack. That's one you could do. You can do tons of little hacks around emails. When you favorite an email, it can do certain actions. So I really, really recommend streamlining your systems. My guess is if you're still on the path to scaling to six figures, it might just be you and your business or a couple of freelancers helping you out. And so what I really recommend doing and this is golden advice by the way I recommend you to record your processes record everything that you do and put it into a sauna in kind of like a organizational process like folder so basically when you're composing an email or when you're replying to a client or when you're creating a podcast episode whatever it is that you're doing
Starting point is 00:18:09 I just use like quick time on my computer and I record my screen I talk over it or I just do it as I am and record it then I'll go into Asana I'll create something like processes or how-tos I'll title this recording I'll upload it and then whenever you do start to hire and you're bringing people on you just add them to that folder in Asana and already everything you're asking them to do has been recorded because one thing you're going to find is when you are scaling and growing you're going to need to hire. You might get to that point where you need to hire but you're so exhausted and busy that you haven't even got time to find that person to train them up. And you end up getting really,
Starting point is 00:18:50 really stressed. And you're on this hamster wheel of cortisol where you're so stressed, you're so swamped, but you know it's quicker just to do it yourself than to train someone. And I've been there, trust me. And I really don't want you to be there, which is why getting organized early on in your business is going to be a game changer for you and inside the society I actually have given you a ton of my Evernote templates that you can just download and copy and paste into your own Evernote if that's helpful for you. The last but not least final part of the Boss Web Success Framework is impact. So we call it impact and growth. So impact and growth is the stage of scalability and contribution in your business. And when I say growth, I really, really mean business and
Starting point is 00:19:32 personal growth. So how are you investing in your business? How are you investing in yourself personally to be able to make your next up level? And then when I say impact, it's how are you making an impact on the world? What are you actually doing doing how is what you're doing bigger than you so in this area of impact and growth self-belief is super key and boosting your confidence is really important but also always being aware of that bigger place that you are driving towards you're also really going to want to evaluate how you've been doing so far think about your. Is this one of high performance or does it need to be evaluated? How can you optimize it? How can you prepare yourself for even more growth? You're really going to want to be supercharging your sustained energy and managing
Starting point is 00:20:14 your time in this area of growth. And to perform highly at all times, you really need great stamina and a growth mindset. And it's also going to be really important in this stage to learn how to negotiate, communicate and network. And these factors are going to contribute so, so much towards your growth. So like you can see, after we've broken this down into like five key areas, the Boss Web Success Framework is not some completely impossible theory. It's just a real roadmap that you don't need to rush through you can just move through these stages really naturally just taking it one step at a time so I'm just going to quickly review them all for you so we've got purpose audience revenue systems and growth so purpose is where you're really going to get clear on your idea and your alignment audience is where we talk about nurturing that a thousand raving fans. It's about creating that
Starting point is 00:21:06 value online. It's connecting with your community. Revenue, we focus on making money and managing your money. Systems, we show you how to make sure that your business works for you rather than you working for it. And then in growth, we focus on your personal and your business growth okay so hopefully this has been a really really helpful quick overview for you I do go into more detail in a free training online that I do so I'm going to put the link below for you if you want to check that free training out I think that runs for about 60 minutes so it's way more in detail but I really didn't want to overwhelm you on the podcast because I know you're probably driving or relaxing and you might not be in a place where you can make tons of notes but I just want you to be able to see a really really clear roadmap for where you're going and hopefully through listening to
