Starting point is 00:00:00 Okay, let's talk about content. The thing every single entrepreneur knows they need, but if we're being really honest, most are not using strategically. Because here's the reality. You can be posting every single day and still not making any sales. You could actually have tens of thousands of followers and still be really struggling to make any money. You could be really consistent for months and still feel like you're
Starting point is 00:00:24 getting absolutely no traction. And it still feel like you're getting absolutely no traction. And it's not because you're not working hard enough. It's not because you're not committed enough. It's because most people are creating content for engagement, not for conversions. So they might be focused on vanity metrics instead of revenue, chasing the algorithm instead of building an audience of buyers, posting randomly instead of following an actual sales system. And honestly, if anyone gets it, I get it. I've been doing this for over a decade. I know how easy it is to fall into the trap of thinking,
Starting point is 00:00:56 if I just post more, eventually the sales are going to come. But they don't. Not without strategy. And so that is exactly what we're going to fix today. So in this episode, I'm going gonna break down the million dollar content plan, the exact strategy I have been using for years to create content that doesn't just get likes, but actually drive sales
Starting point is 00:01:15 and moves the needle in your business. So what we're gonna cover is the four content pillars that will turn your followers into buyers, why chasing the algorithm is a complete waste of time if your content is not built to convert. How to repurpose content into sales assets so you're not constantly starting from scratch. And the secret to writing buyer psychology posts that literally have people DMing you saying, how do I work with you? How can I buy from you? Here is my credit card. And I'm even going to share with you my personal content calendar,
Starting point is 00:01:46 the exact one that we use to drive hundreds and thousands of dollars of sales every single month. So my hope is by the end of this, you'll have a really clear step-by-step system that takes people from who assist to I need to work with them right now. Let's dive in. So before we get into the content pillars, I need to call something out. The biggest myth holding entrepreneurs back is the idea that if I just post more, I will make more sales.
Starting point is 00:02:12 It is completely false, and to be honest, it's probably going to have you exhausted, burned out and hating content. More content does not equal more revenue. Here's what's actually happening for most people. They are posting without a clear offer or very clear call to action. They might even be creating content that educates and engages but doesn't actually convert. Maybe they're measuring success by likes, views and followers instead of leads, conversions and sales. And this is honestly why you'll see influencers with hundreds of
Starting point is 00:02:43 thousands or even millions of followers struggling to make consistent income, while business owners with really small audiences are having six figure months. I see it all the time. It is not about quantity. It is about the intention of your content. Your content is either going to move people towards your offer or it doesn't. And it is that simple.
Starting point is 00:03:01 Instead of asking, am I posting enough? What I want you to start asking is, is this post actually guiding someone toward my offer? Does this content help my audience to make a buying decision? Is it overcoming objections before they even arise for my ideal client? This is the shift from being just a content creator to actually being a successful business owner that is creating content. That's where the four content pillars come in that we are going to talk about.
Starting point is 00:03:29 If you want people to buy from you, they need to believe you can get them results. It is not enough for them to like you. People do not invest thousands of dollars in people they like. They invest in people that they trust to solve their problem. Authority content is going to help you to build that trust. What it is, is really how you position yourself as the go-to expert, the go-to trusted source in your industry or your niche. You can think about it a little bit like this. If someone lands on your social media profile for the first ever time, would they immediately think, this person clearly, clearly knows their stuff and I would
Starting point is 00:04:05 trust them with my money. That's the goal and it's honestly more possible than you would think it is. To get really specific here is what authority content can and should look like. There's a few different types of authority content you can be posting. There's case studies and transformations so you can show real client results with before and after data. It is one thing to say, I help entrepreneurs scale, and then it's another to say, here's how my client went from 5k to 50k months in 90 days. Another thing that you can be doing, which people really, really love right now, is behind the scenes breakdowns. So walk people through your process, not just the what, but the how. What steps did you take to get that result? That's really going to bring people into
Starting point is 00:04:51 what you do and help them to see the process. You can also post myth-busting posts. So calling out common mistakes in your niche or industry and explain why they might be holding people back. This can instantly position you as someone who knows better and does better. Maybe you have a skincare brand and you're calling out what skincare brands mainly get wrong and why you do something differently. Comparison posts are another great idea that can highlight the difference between what struggling entrepreneurs do versus what successful ones do. It can make people think, oh, I'm completely doing it the wrong way. That positions you as an expert because you have the right way. You could also
Starting point is 00:05:30 give advanced level insights. Go deeper than the surface level advice. Listen, social media is full of surface level advice. So teach the stuff that makes people pause and think, wow, I've never heard it explained like that, or that really landed for me in a way that it hasn't before. Here's an example if you are in the business space, right? So instead of saying, I help entrepreneurs grow their business, what you could be posting instead is something that is really tangible. You could be saying, here's how one of my clients went from 5k to 50k months by making one simple content
Starting point is 00:06:07 shift, switching from educational posts to bio-psychology posts. Here is exactly what we changed. And so not only are you demonstrating your expertise, you're demonstrating your results, you are also giving a ton of value. And you can see the difference because one is really vague, the other is really proving expertise through results. And the takeaway here is people do not pay for nice content. They do not pay for, yeah, that's a nice to have.
Starting point is 00:06:38 They pay for expertise. So show them why you are the person or your company is the company that can actually be trusted. Now, authority builds trust in your skills, but connection builds trust in you as a person or a brand. Because here's the truth that we all know, people buy from people. And if your audience doesn't feel like they know you, they like you, they trust you, they understand what your values are, they understand what you stand for or don't, they won't buy no matter how good your offer is. Because connection content really humanizes your brand.
Starting point is 00:07:15 It makes people think, I like this person, I'd probably enjoy working with them. Or I trust this person, I think she'd make a really great product. I believe what she says about these ingredients. So what kind of content builds that connection? I'm gonna go into a few different kinds of posts that you can be putting out there that would fit underneath the pillar of connection. So the first is personal stories and struggles. So sharing your journey, what challenges have you faced? What lessons did you learn along the way? This builds relatability, but it also helps reverse engineer why you might have created
Starting point is 00:07:49 the product in the first place. The next content type is your why and your mission. Why do you do what you do? What lights you up about your work? People really connect with your purpose, so sharing this can really help people understand what you stand for. People also love to see behind the scenes moments. So this could be your morning routine, how you prep for what client calls or even the
Starting point is 00:08:11 messy middle of a project. So instead of saying, join my consulting program, you might post something like this. I built this program because I remember exactly what it felt like to be stuck. Hustling every day, posting constantly and wondering why nothing was converting. I don't want anyone else to go through that. That's why I created a step-by-step system that actually works and I would love to walk you through it. And that level of honesty really builds trust and it makes people think she gets it, she
Starting point is 00:08:39 gets me. And so the takeaway here is people buy from those that they know, like, and trust. And the more that you tell stories, the more that you bring people into your world, the more that people will feel like they do actually know you. And they don't just see you as a face on a screen, but actually someone that they either relate to or they don't relate to. Okay, let's dive into the one that most people miss when it comes to content. If your content is not addressing the objections your buyers have, they are going to hesitate.
Starting point is 00:09:11 Bias psychology content pre-sells people before they ever get on a sales call or even see your offer. So here's exactly how it works. It overcomes common objections like, I can't afford it, I don't have time, things like this never work for people like me. It really reframes limiting beliefs that keep people stuck and it handles price objections before they even start to come up. For example, instead of posting, buy my weight loss program, you post something like, I hear this all the time,
Starting point is 00:09:43 I can't afford to invest right now, but let me flip that for you. How much money are you spending every single month on the next FAD? Right? So basically you are going to start to flip it and really call them forward in a way that you know they are experiencing. Like, you know that they are probably spending a ton of money on takeout and you can help save them money by meal prepping and making smarter choices. So you can shift the conversation from, I cannot afford it to, I can't afford not to
Starting point is 00:10:12 do this. And so if you are not overcoming objections like this in your content, you will have to do it on sales calls or you'll have to do it on your sales page. And it is much harder to do on there. If you can handle it upfront, people can really start to think about whether your offer would be a good fit for them or not. So don't avoid objections because we know they are there, call them out and really answer them honestly. At the end of the day, if your content isn't leading people to take action, it is just noise in a sea of sameness when it comes to content. Likes do not pay the bills they never have. Comments don't generate revenue.
Starting point is 00:10:45 Followers do not equal sales. Your content needs to intentionally move people toward your offer. I need you to focus on conversion content and here's what it looks like. You can have direct sales posts. This could be doors are open. Here's why you need to join today type of posts. It can be testimonials and social proof. I love having carousels with real stories from real clients, their pictures, their stories.
Starting point is 00:11:09 These posts really build that instant trust. Very clear call to action. What should people do next? DM you. Click a link. Book a call. Literally spell it out for them. You can have urgency driven posts, so limited spots, deadlines, bonuses to create that feeling
Starting point is 00:11:23 of I need to act now. Instead of posting something like, I have spots open for my consulting program. You could say something like, I just wrapped a session with a client who was struggling to lose 10 pounds. In 60 days, we completely changed his strategy. Last month, she ended up losing 12 pounds. If you want this to be you, I have three spots open this month. Drop me, weight loss and let's chat, right?
Starting point is 00:11:48 You can use really specific results driven and urgent content to have people decide that they're finally going to take action with you. The key takeaway here is you cannot expect people to buy from you if you never tell them how to do it. So make your offer really clear, really compelling and easy to say yes to. So now that we've talked about the four content pillars, how exactly do we turn this into a repeatable system? Here's exactly how I would turn this into a million dollar content system.
Starting point is 00:12:15 The first step is planning your content like a sales funnel. Thinking of your content actually as a funnel, moving people from the awareness stage into the purchase stage. Authority content is going to build trust in your expertise. Connection content is going to build trust in you as a person. Buyer psychology content overcomes objections before they even start to arise, and then conversion content is going to turn that trust into an actual sale. Every single post should be guiding your audience one step closer to becoming a buyer one way or another.
Starting point is 00:12:48 Step two is repurposing and recycling like a pro. Most entrepreneurs waste so many hours creating new content every single day. It is exhausting and it's unnecessary. Most of the time, you actually don't need more content. You need to just reuse what's already working for you and you probably have so much content already banked. A newsletter post could become 5-10 Instagram carousel slides and by the way, ChatGPT could do all of that for you. A podcast episode could become 10 Instagram
Starting point is 00:13:19 stories. A high performing Instagram post could be reposted exactly as it is every 60 days. Your new rule can be stop reinventing the wheel, start optimising what already works. We are using ChatGPT a lot to create content and we are constantly repurposing and reposting everything that is actually working for us. Step three is using a content calendar that converts. So here's a weekly structure that I found to be really helpful.
Starting point is 00:13:48 Monday, you post authority content, so client results and advanced strategies. Tuesday is a connection day. It's personal stories, your mission, your struggles. Wednesday, a biopsychology day, objection handling, mindset shifts. Thursday, conversion content, call to Thursday, Conversion Content, Call to Actions, Urgency Driven Posts, Friday through Sunday, Engagement Driven Content, things that are
Starting point is 00:14:11 really interactive and can actually help grow your account. This is going to ensure that every post is working towards a sale and not just engagement for engagement's sake. You know I always talk about the three types of content. It's content to grow your audience, content to build your brand and content to sell. So based on what your goals are, you really want to implement these types of content into your overall strategy and make sure that your social media strategy is actually growing your business, not taking your time away from your business. If you're really tired of posting for engagement and
Starting point is 00:14:42 ready to start posting for profit, here's exactly what I want you to do next. Firstly, hopefully you got a lot from this.
