Starting point is 00:00:00 The following podcast is a dear media production. She's a lifestyle blogger extraordinaire. Fantastic. And he's a serial entrepreneur. A very smart cookie. And now Lauren Everts and Michael Bostic are bringing you along for the ride. Get ready for some major realness. Welcome to the skinny confidential, him and her.
Starting point is 00:00:23 And I even tell my friends out to this day. Like, I'm one of those people where I'm like, if he doesn't like you, like, why do you like him? But I get it's way easier set than done. But I'm like, what? Like, you need somebody who's, like, obsessed with you. Like, duh. So, I don't know. The show, I definitely kind of, I would be like, okay, we're connecting a little bit.
Starting point is 00:00:42 And then I would take a step back. And I was like, oh, like, these girls are really going after him. And I was like, let's see if he'll go after me. Hannah Godwin is a fashion beauty and lifestyle creator, entrepreneur, and model is on the show. You may recognize her. In fact, I'm sure you do because she appeared on ABC's The Bachelor. Hannah is the founder of SETIAP. And in this episode, we talk about The Bachelor extensively.
Starting point is 00:01:06 We talk about her husband. We talk about her relationship and how it started. Her favorite skincare hack, her beauty tips. We even talked about entrepreneurship. This is a very well-rounded episode. With that, let me introduce Hannah Godwin. This is the skinny confidential, him and her. One thing about my husband is,
Starting point is 00:01:29 he loves the juice. So like even though he doesn't want to be in the juice, he just wants to hear the juice. So he'll be like, what's the juice? I want to know what's going on, but I don't want to be a participant. Also,
Starting point is 00:01:41 I've got a weird thing with television as it relates to like people on television where I'm not interested that much until I meet the person. Yeah, he likes context. That makes sense. Like I'll have people come on the show and then I'm like,
Starting point is 00:01:52 oh, now I need to go see. But prior to that, I'm not really paying attention. Which is fair. I feel like I get more vested in it once I'm like know the person. Then I get mad. I'm like, why are they being mean to this person? That's my friend. You know what I mean? But if you don't know them, you're just disconnected. Right. So now he's going to be like asking me about the juice about you and Dylan.
Starting point is 00:02:08 Oh man. He'll learn it in this episode. I'm going to get it all. Okay. What you're in Alabama when you decide to do The Bachelor? Is that true? Yeah. So I am born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama. I was pretty shy growing up. Only child. Super creative. Kind of more of a like behind the scenes kind of, kind of girl with like photo shoots and like you know filming videos and things like that and then I started shooting weddings video videoing weddings and I don't know I just thought I was going to be behind the scenes girl and then randomly got casted for this thing it was called Birmingham Fashion Week really it's not New York Fashion Week clearly it's like really small but there I was like I think I can do some modeling stuff and just got all of these opportunities presented to me and
Starting point is 00:02:57 then it just kept spiraling from there and I ended up on the show. So when someone who is cast who likes being behind the scenes that's shy, what was that like? She just said she was shy. So I was shy like at school
Starting point is 00:03:15 and I think it was because I wasn't super confident kind of but at home like my mom was like Hannah you are going to like crush this today like she really tried to instill confidence in me And then at home, I was like cutting up, having fun. And then I would go out and go to school. And I was like, oh, I'm not that girl.
Starting point is 00:03:32 Like, I'm kind of shy. So I don't know. I think I wanted to be that person, but I don't think I had it in me, I guess, to do it in high school and in college. And then all of a sudden I kind of blossomed. And I was like, let's try this modeling space. Let's step out of my comfort zone. And I kind of liked it. So when you get cast on The Bachelor, do you, have you been someone who consumed it?
Starting point is 00:03:56 did you have a strategy going in? What is that, what is your mindset when you're going into this? Because if I was going into the bachelor... No, not this again. Yeah, no. Lauren told Chris Harrison when he came on that she could win the Bachelor. Remember this car said she could,
Starting point is 00:04:10 she had the whole strategy. I have a strategy. But I want to know if you had a strategy. We'll talk about my strategy later. I need to hear about your strategy, but also me going on. So I used to watch on Mondays with my mom. We would order Chinese food.
Starting point is 00:04:22 Like I always, it was like our Monday night kind of thing. I never thought I would get on it ever. I was in a long-term relationship until right after college, and I actually interned in L.A., drove from Alabama to Los Angeles for my internship, just to give you context. Like, I was not a big traveler growing up, like didn't come from a bunch of money or anything. Literally drove from Alabama to my internship, and that opened so many doors. I was like, wow, like, I need to be doing whatever is going on out here. Like that felt really clear to me, but I couldn't afford it.
Starting point is 00:04:56 So then drive all the way home, cried all the way home. And I was like, what is my next? Like, what am I going to do? I was single at this point. I was modeling every week. I was driving all over the south for different modeling opportunities or the ones that would take me on because I'm like five, six and a half. So I wasn't booking every modeling deal.
Starting point is 00:05:14 But I was like, I feel like there's just something in this creative space that's going to happen. I don't know what. My dad was like, Hannah, you need to go work at like the power place. and like you need to work Alabama power like which is great job but I was like I want to do something creative I'm telling you like there's something what are you going to have what do you want you to do with the power plant I don't know he was like handing like a hard hat cutting some tree lines down or something maybe cutting down some trees or something but I was like no I really want to do something creative I'm telling you there there's something in this new world
Starting point is 00:05:42 which was influencing in this new space and modeling and I loved photography and I love fashion like there were all these natural things that I loved and I was like I I just I want to test it out. I don't know. Randomly had a bunch of mimoses with my best friend, Dina, since middle school. And she was like, we're going to send in a tape to The Bachelor. And I was like, uh, like, we kept going back and forth about it. And I was like, I don't think so. Like, I don't think I would ever get on The Bachelor. Like, that was way too big of a dream for me to have. Like, I just, I didn't know anybody who was in television or anything like that. But randomly, randomly submitted and it, it changed my life, like went from, I had never traveled before,
Starting point is 00:06:20 travel in and in three weeks we had traveled to like six different countries or something crazy on the show like it was just I don't know I think every single day going on The Bachelor from the first day I got first impression rose when I was on it to like making it towards the end every single day I was shocked I was truly surprised so I don't think I had a strategy I was just like survive like but maybe that was your strategy is that you didn't have a strategy so it appeared innocent and pure see that's a strategy Maybe that I think that was my strategy No, that is a strategy
Starting point is 00:06:54 Just going in like you're the dough-eyed Like almost like There's a saying play a fool to catch a sucker Yeah It's like you almost just kind of play like You're like, I don't know I'm from Alabama I'm just I'm new here
Starting point is 00:07:08 And like they fall in love with you Because You do have a strategy That's an undertone of a strategy, Michael Or at the time Ignorance is bliss She went in with ignorance. It was my master plan for sure.
Starting point is 00:07:23 Just be nice. I'm just saying. She gets the first impression rose. Oh, I didn't know I'd be here another day. She's there another day. She just is kind of flying under the radar because the ones that come in too hot are going to be a target for the other women and the other women are going to start to push them out, right? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:07:39 Yeah. What happens to your boyfriend you were dating when this? Or did you already broke up with them? We broke up. We broke up right when I graduated college. And then it was like about over a year until I went on the show. Keep up, like later, buddy. I know.
Starting point is 00:07:54 I'm saying a lot of information. Tell me to slow down if I need to. No, no, I need to speed up. I'm slow. I'm trying to keep up with everything's going on in the bachelor's. Okay. So when you go on this show, do you at the time believe this is where you're actually going to like find a husband or you knew this was for entertainment purposes?
Starting point is 00:08:10 Or both. I always wonder about this. People go and like, this is it. Be really honest. Were you, did you actually think like you're going to fall in love? Were you like, this is amazing for my career? I was kind of just along for the ride. When I tell you the first night,
Starting point is 00:08:24 I thought I was getting set home. So I didn't pack enough dresses for the entire time. Like I was shopping like Forever 21 clearance. Like I really didn't have confidence in it. And so every day I was truly shocked. The love side of it, I had seen successful couples before. I was like, I don't know.
Starting point is 00:08:41 Like I can't force that. I don't know the guy. Like I think anybody who goes on, they're like, I'm for sure going to be with him. I'm like, you don't know him yet. Oh, that's a bad strategy. That strategy isn't good. Yeah. So I was just open to it. And if it happened, cool, if not, get a few stamps on my passport. Who knows what will happen? Just along for the ride. What else was I doing? I was living at home in Alabama. I was like, well, let's see. At what point do you like look in the mirror and be like, oh my God, this is serious. I need to go get more dresses. This is like actually happening. And you have like a reality check with yourself. I mean, you can't go and get more dresses when you're on the show. You just have to become friends with it. everybody and hopefully borrow some. Like at the very end, I was like, this is my last one in here.
Starting point is 00:09:23 Like, I did not have a lot of dresses at all. And then they let you go shopping a little bit, but you have to be with like a handler, producer person with you. But, but yeah, I don't know if maybe when I went to hometowns, that's when I was like, whoa. Like, do you know what hometowns are? Lauren, I can't say that I do. Do you know what hometowns are?
Starting point is 00:09:43 Like home, I know what hometowns are, but I don't know what hometowns. It's part of the process. Like, if you make it kind of far, then you can like introduce them to your family. And I bring them to your hometown. You bring them to your hometown. You don't have a phone the entire time that you're on the show. Like no phone access, no new music.
Starting point is 00:09:57 My music playlist was amazing when I got off the show because I had no phone access. And I was like, oh, look at all these new songs. But yeah, I got to hometowns. And whenever I'm like looking at my mom in the eye and I'm like looking at my best friend, I was like, we kind of made it really far in this. Like I think we've got to start figuring some stuff out. I was like, this is my daughter. She works in the power plant.
Starting point is 00:10:17 Yeah. Are you nervous to bring TV cameras and this guy into your own home or were you like, I got this? You don't have much time to think on the show. Like, I feel like we were traveling so much and you're just interviewing and after interviewing after interviewing and stuff during it. So I look back and I'm like, maybe just my frontal lobe, is that what it's called? Sure. The central lobe wasn't developed yet.
Starting point is 00:10:44 I mean, I was smart, but I was just like coasting along. Like I just, I knew I was like, if you get sit home, that's bad. Like, it's almost like a game at that point, kind of. Not a game, but like, you're like, well, I don't want to get my feelings certain, but get sit home. So hopefully I stay another week. And then all of a sudden I was like, oh, I'm at hometown. It's like, this is kind of getting serious.
Starting point is 00:11:00 So, yeah. What's something that would surprise Bachelor, Bachelorette fans, for instance? Like, I know you guys have to delete your social media, right? We had to put, we had to put mine on private, I think. Okay. Okay. What's something that would shock the fans? I think this is just production and,
Starting point is 00:11:16 in general, but I always found it funny. Like, so during hometowns, we went to Alabama, my hometown. And then while everybody else was doing their hometowns, there were three other girls doing their hometowns, they flew me back to L.A., and I'm in L.A., and we're in a hotel room for like seven hours, and I'm doing all of these interviews from night one, like from the limo night. And they were like, wear this gold dress, like, which was the gold dress I wore at the limo night.
Starting point is 00:11:42 But I had different earrings on. If you look back, like my hair was like straightened, kind of. kind of like I looked completely different than I did the first night, but I was having to recap all these things. It's just normal B-roll type of footage, but it was funny. They were like, so what do you think about this person? Like, you know, this drama thing happened. And I was like, I don't know. But it was funny just refilming all of that and seeing what was added to it. And I was like, wow, that's funny. I literally have a different hairstyle in this interview on the first night, but it's because it was shot five weeks later, three weeks later. What is it like being in a house with all those different
Starting point is 00:12:15 women. That's giving me anxiety. It's joyful. It's a lot. It's a lot. Luckily, okay, so I did a few pageants back in the day. I never won one, but I did get miscongeniality one year, which is like, I'm very proud of that. And so I get to the show and I was like, how can I just befriend everybody? Like, I know that brings so much stress into my life. If there's like drama going on with me personally, like other girls, like I was seeing it happen and I was like, I would just like shut my mouth about it. Yeah, I just kind of befriended everybody and even the ones that were so-called villains. Like, I ended up loving them because I feel like they were like funny and like emotionally intelligent. It was just like, you know, it was interesting. But I think I just kind of became friends with everybody.
Starting point is 00:12:59 And that protected me in the house, I guess. So is it weird to be all dating the same guy and living with all these girls that are dating the same guy? Well, let me tell you about it, Lauren. We called it polygamy summer camp. Oh, that sounds like. We would all be on the same guy. Sounds like the school you went to college. Is that like weird? What is the behind the scenes of that? I mean, you only have so much time to meet the main person on the show, like to hang out with them. So you are spending more time with the women and stuff like that.
Starting point is 00:13:33 So you kind of have to separate it when you're talking with the guy. And then you realize that a lot of it is early stages with discussions with this guy, too. I just think that for me, I would pretend like I didn't like him that much if I liked him. part of me wants you to go on the show. So to see if you can actually win. I won't fucking. I mean, like, well, let's just see if you can get that far, Lauren.
Starting point is 00:13:55 I think you could. I think I could. I think you could do it. Well, I make a mean sandwich. Okay. Which the cooking thing is interesting on the show. I can't cook. I can make a mean sandwich.
Starting point is 00:14:07 So that's why you have to have friends with people who can cook. We had a girl who was a chef. And like, I became really good friends with her because I was like, strategic. Wait, you got to cook for... Hannah's saying she doesn't have strategy. I'm telling you she... That was my strategy.
Starting point is 00:14:18 You got to cook for the guy? No, he... You don't see him during the day, really. He's, like, on dates. He's busy. At what point did you feel like you really liked the guy? Did you ever really like the guy? I did.
Starting point is 00:14:30 I did. Probably, like, we had a one-on-one date, so obviously I feel like that was... That kind of helped push things forward more. Don't you feel like maybe, though, you like them a little bit because, like, you think other girls like him a lot? Is that like part of it? I was thinking about this. Like, would you like the guy if you were just some guy that didn't have 18 girls competing for him?
Starting point is 00:14:51 Or is it however many girls in there? There is definitely something with like they kind of become like a unicorn. And like they're the bachelor. Like, whoa. And like they have a whole team around them. Like there is something to that. I think like sometimes my kids have all these little toys and my daughter doesn't care about anyone. When my son picks up one.
Starting point is 00:15:08 She's like, that's my favorite toy. FOMO. It's kind of like, you're like you've never played with Mr. Potato Head in your life. and now he's like gleaming. Right. Yeah, no, I think that a lot of it was FOMO, but I will say I think naturally as a person, I don't know if like the guy that likes other girls
Starting point is 00:15:26 or all the girls that like him, like I kind of step away just naturally as a person. So I did find it a little tricky on the show to be like. But you personally are not attracted to the guy that a bunch of other girls are attracted to it. I was, but I'm like, that just seems like such a mess. I'm the same way. I have this weird like OCD about sloth
Starting point is 00:15:43 I don't like sloppy seconds. I don't like sloppy seconds. Yeah. And I totally get what you're saying. So that would like gross me out a little bit. Yeah. It's why when I came to Lauren, I was like right out of the ministry. I was like, you know. No, that's not what I mean. I just don't. I wouldn't have liked you if you were trying for someone else and then you settled for me. That that wouldn't work for me. Well, nobody wants to be that. No, but but. You want to be the star of the show. Always. Yes. And and I even tell my friends that, to this day. Like, I'm one of those people where I'm like, if he doesn't like you, like, why do you like him? Yeah, but I get it's way easier set than done. But I'm like, what? Like, you need somebody who's like obsessed with you. Yes. Duh. Yes. So I don't know. The show, I definitely kind of, I would be like, oh, okay, we're connecting a little bit. And then I would take a step back. And I was like, oh, like these girls are really going after him. And I was like, let's see if he'll go after me, even though that's not how the show goes. And he did. And he didn't. And he didn't. And he didn't at all? Well, no, he did. It seems like. It seems like.
Starting point is 00:16:43 he did you got to the hometowns. He did. He did, but he ended up like, it was like this big thing. He like jumped a fence for a girl. Like it was like this whole thing. Wait, you got to tell us the thing. No, he was like. I am lost.
Starting point is 00:16:56 The season I was on like, he jumped up. It flew us to Portugal and like literally sitting there. I was thinking we were to shoot B-roll all day. All of a sudden there's like a knock at my door and he comes in and breaks up with me. And I was like, oh. And then on the TV or on when I was watching back,
Starting point is 00:17:10 he's like jumping a fence for the girl who, he ultimately ended up choosing. So it was just like a funny thing. In my head, I was kind of like, you know, I think it's a meant to be kind of thing at that point. Yeah, that sounds like the producers told him to jump a fence for drama. I need to write Portugal fence, jump. I think he was running away from production.
Starting point is 00:17:29 You guys should watch it back. It was like a big thing. I told you. After this, I'm probably going to watch it back. So what is it like when the Bachelor like lets you go? Like, what does that feel like on national television? So first of why, I hate being thrown off. So I felt really thrown off.
Starting point is 00:17:43 So that for me, I was just like, ouch. But I think my, like, after looking back and everything, I was like, you know, I think my ego is kind of hurt. Like, it almost feels like there's like all these cameras in your face and you're like, like, you're just thrown off and like surprised by what happened. And you just gone through this whole experience. And I'm like thinking about my mom and then like meeting him and my dad. Like it was more of like a selfish feeling kind of where I was just like, ow. Like it's kind of embarrassing. And like, I don't know.
Starting point is 00:18:11 Just I guess because it surprised me, which is. the point of the show. Like, production wants to hide it from you. But now I met Dylan, my now husband, so it is obviously totally worked out. When you, after they let you go, I would think that it would be like a wedding where you've been on this like journey of the wedding and then it's like a drop slow. And do they immediately move you to the limousine to get you, like make you leave the premises? What is that like? So we were in Portugal and I'm walking out and I see all of these cameras was waiting by a car. And they're like, you have to come with us.
Starting point is 00:18:44 And I was like, okay. And it just felt like abrupt and stuff. And I didn't even like fully pack my suitcase. They're like, just pretend to pack your suitcase a little bit. And I was like, okay. And in my head, I'm like, what the hell just happened? Like that. And you're not thinking about or I wasn't thinking about TV at all at that point.
Starting point is 00:18:58 I'm just thinking of like cameras like over like kind of a weird emotional moment. And then I walk out and there was a van. And they were like, and then in my head, I was like, oh my God, this is like the exit thing. Like there was lighting set up and everything. And I'm like sitting there. I was like, oh. And then they did bring up something about my mom because my mom is like my best friend, which we could get into later.
Starting point is 00:19:18 But they're like, what would be think, like trying to get me to kind of like emote about it because I was just kind of honestly pissed. Like I was just like, what would your mom think? And I was like, let's not bring up my mom right now. Like that's not like, you know, which is fine. But I love the production and everything like that. But I was like, that's a sore spot for me. And so I just, they ended up not airing me getting taken off or anything.
Starting point is 00:19:41 Like it just... You didn't play ball. You didn't play ball. No. They wanted you to cry. They wanted the waterwork. But I wasn't thinking about it at that point. I feel like a lot of people were like, that's her time to like try out for the
Starting point is 00:19:49 Bacheloret and all this stuff. Did not go through my head for one single second. We're just driving around for like 40 minutes. And then we end up going back to a hotel and I ordered room service, glass of wine. And I was like, all right. That was it. It sounds kind of like relief a little bit. Like you just go to room service.
Starting point is 00:20:07 You let it all hang out. You get your glass of wine. You're like, she can have him. Yeah, I'm just done. Yeah, and you still don't have a phone, so I can't call anybody. So I'm just like laying there in my thoughts. I'm like, that was a wild few months. No, Kindle?
Starting point is 00:20:21 Nothing, nothing, nothing, nothing. Just you're laying there in your thoughts, which now I struggle with insomnia major. Or I did. I'm kind of recovering from it a little bit. But I'm like, I don't know how I didn't have major insomnia issues there. Because I would just lay down in a different country. Didn't matter about the time zone. I didn't have any type of sleeping help or anything that I,
Starting point is 00:20:40 brought with me and I just would fall asleep. I think it's so good for your brain. I'm a big advocate of this to be doing nothing. Like I talk about this all the time on the podcasts to have absolutely no distraction. We live in a world right now where everything is constant distraction. So as much as I'm like, that's fucked up that they don't give you any like technology or book or whatever, it actually was probably really transformative for you to be able to just be quiet with yourself. Absolutely. That's something that I have experienced with my insomnia journey, like I would go seven days with no sleep. And then like three months, like, it was a, it was a, like, you have to go to the hospital at some point. What kicked on insomnia for you? You know, I don't know. It would just happen. And apparently, insomnia in general is like the phobia of not being able to fall asleep. Like my body thought it was an actual threat to me to not sleep. So I was like in fight or flight at nighttime. Like, it just freaked me out. Was there like an event or something where you first remember? remember this starting to kick on? I think just focusing on it too much.
Starting point is 00:21:43 I think learning about it. Focusing on not sleeping. I think feeding it. It's like that's how insomnia is. If you feed it, like it's going to be more of a thing. That just really messed it up for me. And then it would be like a few days of not getting sleep.
Starting point is 00:21:56 And then that's what I'm thinking about. And then I would travel and then I'm thinking about sleep. And that was a lot. But it was funny, maybe a few weeks, maybe a month ago. I finally was like I keep using, you know,
Starting point is 00:22:09 I need to do this type of routine at night to fall asleep. I need to take this. I need to have this tea. I need to do this, do this. And then when I finally was like, I'm going to face it, like look at it in the face and be like, you're not going to make me your bitch anymore. Like, hi, insomnia, what's up? And like really feel it, like doing nothing kind of like that nothing space and not rely on
Starting point is 00:22:32 anything else. I finally did poof. Like it was like a visual like poof and I've been sleeping. after my first baby, I had a lot of hair thinning, a lot. Perhaps it was because I was blonde. Perhaps it was because I was not sleeping on a silk pillowcase. Perhaps, perhaps, perhaps. But what I've noticed is I have five pillars that I live by now when it comes to my hair.
Starting point is 00:22:57 One, I sleep on a silk pillowcase. Two, I microneedle my scalp. Three, I do scalp massage. Four, I eat a ton of beef. So many amino acids. It's so good for your hair. And then lastly, I do. a supplement and the supplement that I use that I've always used since my first baby is neutraful.

I do a bowl of beef every day. I've done it for the last three years. It's how I lost 60 pounds. So I have to make sure that
Starting point is 00:25:59 the bowl of beef is constantly evolving. One thing that I've been doing is I've been using like chopped kale situation. I use like this chopped kit salad that's ready to go. Okay. And I put it underneath the beef and then I melt cheese on top. So I get my greens. I get my protein and I get my raw cheese for the enzymes. The brand that I'm using is Taylor Farm's chopped salad kits. They deliver the freshest best tasting salads to eat at home or on the go. What I like about this brand specifically for my bowl of beef is the salads are pre-washed, pre-cut and ready to enjoy. Okay. This is efficiency. This is time. Taylor Farm salads make healthy eating easy and delicious. I like the one on their site that's kale. There's all different flavors you can go on, but it's
Starting point is 00:26:46 really easy to personalize it. You could make like a fruit and veggie salad. You could add protein. You could add chicken. You could have it just raw. You could use the kale in a chicken soup. I love how there's so many ways to use it. You can check them out at all major grocery stores. There's over 30 flavors and even mini salads. Each base is a unique blend of fresh greens and veggies created to perfectly complement the toppings and dressings to deliver the best tasting flavor forward salad kits. Like I said, Taylor Farms' chopped salad kits are available at all major grocery stores.
Starting point is 00:27:19 She had a narrative in her head being like, you can't sleep, you can't sleep. I have so many things to text message you to help. Not even like just like little things like a meditation to listen to. just like little tips that all text you. I love it all. Have you read Matthew Walker's book Why We Sleep? You heard him?
Starting point is 00:27:41 Anyways, he just came on the show recently. I was talking about insomnia and it was basically what you're describing. But I think what you're saying is you were giving it so much energy that like you finally took your power back and just was like, nope, I'm gonna do it and it went away. Yeah. And I used to be like, yeah, the mind's powerful.
Starting point is 00:27:56 Like we all know this. But like, I don't think I realized that I, I guess how powerful it really was. So just taking that back and like facing it head on like raw and just I don't know. Something about it. It just clicked. What would you do when you weren't sleeping? You were just wander around in the night? Try to sleep. Go and read journal. Like I tried all of the different things. Put my feet in a hot bath and I think I was just doing too many things because I was, I don't know. As soon as I just chilled out, it was fine. Do you ever put your legs up on the wall?
Starting point is 00:28:30 I tried it a few times. I was just I think I was just trying everything. I tried that briefly, but maybe not consistently. Is it helpful? Yeah, if you just like when you're getting ready to go to sleep, you put your legs up on the wall and it just relaxes your nervous system. But would you sleep at all or would it just be like you would just be up all night? When you say seven days, I'm dying, I would be, I would be the biggest cunt on the planet that anyone has ever seen if I didn't sleep for seven days. Like, what did that do to your mental health? So when I was in Barcelona to get my wedding dress last year, that's when I was.
Starting point is 00:29:03 I didn't sleep at all. So there was nothing. I was like, wow, I didn't sleep. And then it'd be like 6 a.m. And I was like, okay, I can handle like two days or and then day three and then it was day four. And like, it just kept going. And I was like, I feel really not good. Like I don't know what to do. And I was like so upset. And I was like, trying to enjoy the trip because it was such a beautiful trip. And I got to bring my mom to Barcelona. And the parts that were great were really great. But I was like, wow, I there's clearly an issue. Like something's off. I ended up seeing a naturopath and getting blood work and just acupuncture, all the kind of stuff because I was like, I'm clearly off. And I've very luckily not had a bunch of health issues in my life. But that, it messed me up. But yeah, I think just taking ownership on it just
Starting point is 00:29:46 helped for some reason and learning about it and not being scared about it anymore. How did you sleep the seventh day? Did your body just go to sleep? Like, what was the catalyst for what? When I got home, I finally slept. But then it picked up again last, it was like September through. I don't know, two months ago. It was, so for almost a year, it was, there was a, I've, I've talked about a lot of my socials, but I would be like, okay, I'm on day three of no sleeper. I would fall asleep at like 7 a.m. and then wake up at like 8.30 in the morning. So I'd like have a little dream and then that was it, but it was like nighttime.
Starting point is 00:30:21 I just couldn't sleep. But I felt, I feared all a bunch of tools and getting out of bed. If you can't sleep has been really helpful. But yeah, I mean, it was a bitch. It was awful. But have you ever tried that this is an, I'll, I mean, I'm going to text you this. Have you ever tried sannaing before you go to bed? We just got a sauna. And we've been using it a lot, which I do feel like has been really, really helpful. I heard somebody talking about it in the hallway when I was sitting in the entryway.
Starting point is 00:30:46 I don't know who it was, but how some places just like make your nervous system. Like, I don't know, just so much. I don't know if it was one of you guys. That was Kat from Ritual and me talking about over. It's called overstimuli. Like you're too much stimulus. Yep. Yep.
Starting point is 00:31:02 I do think San Diego is a good place for my nervous system and to like be in my routine. I'm a big routine girl. And I've, I'm now 29. And I'm like, I've just learned that that's, if I'm going to live somewhere, it has to be slower and stuff like that. And then I can visit places like L.A. New York. And it's so much fun. It's busy.
Starting point is 00:31:20 But then I'm like, done. I say L.A.'s our mistress. Yeah. Go in, get what you need. Yeah. Because, you know, it is a lot of stimulus. You're going to offend all the mistresses out there. I love a mistress.
Starting point is 00:31:34 Me too. At what point do you meet your future husband, Dylan? Tell us about what is happening simultaneously with him and how you guys met. So we met very briefly before the show, before we went on Bachelor in Paradise, which is like filmed in Mexico, and it's all the Bachelor people and the Bachelorette people go to an island and meet each other and there's a bunch of drama. But we met very briefly. I thought he was not interested at all. I was in L.A. He drove from San Diego to L.A. to meet with. the agent that I have and we all just got dinner with a few other people and I was like,
Starting point is 00:32:07 okay, he definitely doesn't like me, but it was funny. He had, you know, the brand like off white. It's just like a nicer type of jacket sweatshirt thing. I had never heard of it. This is like, you know, I'm newly off the first show. I'm like, what am I doing? And I like, whatever. I was like, it's kind of cold and then he gives me a sweatshirt and it was like a nice off white sweatshirt. Like they're just kind of nicer. And I put it on and then I was, then we were leaving and he was like, I was like, oh, your sweatshirt, your sweatshirt. And he was like, oh, no, you can keep it. And I was like, no, no, it's fine.
Starting point is 00:32:37 And then after I was like, wait, that was a pretty nice sweatshirt. Like, he was literally going to give me like a $1,000 sweatshirt. Like, what though? You all the good. If a guy gives you a sweater, he likes. I make fun of him all the time. I'm like, don't know, why were you going to give me that sweatshirt? Like, that is, I don't know, it was crazy.
Starting point is 00:32:51 But then we actually met, got to know each other in Mexico. And the rest was just us sitting on day beds, basically eating popcorn, and watching one of the most dramatic shows in the U.S. Did you fall in love on Bachelor in Paradise? Yeah. Yeah. You could actually see you guys falling in love. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:33:10 Which is crazy. Yeah. So do you guys go back and watch you guys falling in love? He kind of likes to, like, he'll like jokingly kind of put it on. I can't listen to myself on a voicemail, let alone TV. I mean, I'll probably be able to listen to this podcast, but I'm like, I hate my voice on stuff. So I can't even watch myself on TV, especially in vulnerable, dating, flirting.
Starting point is 00:33:30 like I don't love watching it. Plus there was like a little bit of drama in the beginning, which I'm like, I just don't want to think about that. Like let's flip the page and think about us. What's the drama in the beginning for Michael? So there was... Well, some of the audience probably get mad at me. Like, Michael, they get mad at them. Why don't you do your research?
Starting point is 00:33:47 We do our research. We have 20 different cards here, but she's, but we want to hear it from Hannah's mouth, what the juice is. I love that you guys say juice instead of tea. Yeah, I'm not, I don't say tea. We're a bit older. No, but that's not why. I just like a rebrand of, I don't, everyone says tea. It's updated.
Starting point is 00:34:03 Teas a little, I like it. Yeah. So in the beginning, I think they tell you to go on the show and they're like, okay, so you're going to this island, you should date around and meet a bunch of people. That's the point of this entire thing. And there was a few people interested in me and I went on a date, you know, like just people being interested in you. And I think people were really mad that I didn't go for Dylan because Dylan was all in.
Starting point is 00:34:29 on me and in the very beginning on day three on the beach. I'm like, I don't know. Like, we'll see. And I think that confusion was really played up. But I think though that guys like it when you're not like thirsty for them right away. Like I think that you being like, I don't know, he probably was like, have my other off white sweater. Here's my pants. I could have gotten a lot of off white sweaters. Yeah. I don't know. Also, one of the guys who, was on the beach. There was a lot of drama kind of surrounding him because he was kind of talking to a few people beforehand had been DMing me.
Starting point is 00:35:12 Casanova? Trying to get a bunch of girls. There's a guy in Casanova? No, it's not his name. Just like a Casanova. Like he's throwing his net out to see what works. Yeah, he was, he's fishing around a little bit. Fishing around. And yeah. And so that kind of got spent out of control a little bit where it was like people were talking before the show. And And I'm like, everybody was sliding in people's DMs. Like, Dillam was even sliding in mine. Like, I don't know.
Starting point is 00:35:34 Like, you're single and you're going to go on a show. And it's not to be like, okay, we're a packed. But it was like, hi. Oh, ha. This is funny. Like, you know, kind of that kind of stuff. So what was the epiphany of you falling in love with your now husband? Epiphany.
Starting point is 00:35:53 Meaning, like, what was your, like, where you remember actually, like, falling in love with him? Was it like you actually can see it on the show, you said? it's so small but another guy came on and asked me to go on a date and we had been hanging out for a while and I was like you know what okay I'll go on the date whatever but Dylan had been like trying to plan to go like in the water with me like in the ocean and like it was like this whole thing he was like I really want to take you like buggy boarding like let's do it let's do it kept saying it like kept saying it and finally the day like the current was going to be good to do it or something like that and this guy asked me on a date and I was like okay and then I like went and told Dylan I was like by the way I think
Starting point is 00:36:32 I'm going to go on this date and explore it. And, like, looking him, I felt like I was, like, talking to, like, family. And I was like, oh, my God. Like, I actually can't go on this date. And then I, like, had this whole thing. And I'm, like, crying because I hate confrontation so much. And I had to go tell a guy, like, that I had already said I would go on the date with him. I was like, by the way, like, I can't go on the stay with you.
Starting point is 00:36:50 I just, it just doesn't feel right. Like, I need to spend today with Dylan. And, like, that for me was so hard, which, looking back, I'm like, wow, I would have been such a bad bachelorette. Like, I cannot. I'm really bad at confrontation just in general. and I'm working on it, but I had to tell him that, and then I ended up hanging out with Dylan all day,
Starting point is 00:37:05 and it felt relief, and I just naturally connected with him. And I was like, I think at that point, I was like, I could definitely see myself falling in love with him, which is so crazy. You guys are public on social media. What is that like putting your relationship out to all these people and having your relationship public like that?
Starting point is 00:37:25 I think it's kind of fun. By the way, we do this in a different platform. Yeah, different context. It's a different context. But I'm just saying like, has it all been great? Most of the people just yell at us for yelling at each other and for, for. We don't yell. I don't yell at you.
Starting point is 00:37:40 I just, I'm a little bit yelly sometimes. I'm not yelling. I'm not yelling at all. That's a really. Most of the internet says that you need to be kinder to me. Yeah, the internet says, I'm a victim.
Starting point is 00:37:51 But I've known him since I was 12. So if you've been hanging out with your best friend since you were 12, there's going to be banter. And also, you guys are spending a lot of your time talking to each other and sharing that with everybody. Most people aren't doing that. Like even me and Dylan, like, that's like social media isn't his full-time job. He works in tech and it's like really complex. But whenever I get him like in a story or in a TikTok or something like that, it's like little moments of it. So we're not as online
Starting point is 00:38:19 together a ton. Like we are, you know, over dinner and stuff like that. It's kind of fun. But we're not having to like work together and stuff like that a lot. If we had a podcast together or something, I'm sure some people would be like, Hannah, like Tony. it down or Dylan like tone it down like I'm sure that that would be the case. Tone it down. Do you want me to tone it down? I feel like you'd be bored. No, but I think like as we've talked, we've talked to people over the years, many people that have been on the bachelor properties in particular. And it sounds like the audience is so invested because it's like an escape where people go for what they deem to be romance. Right. Right. And it's like if you break their image of that romance, it's like it's like a personal
Starting point is 00:38:57 affront to them or attack on them. You know what I mean? Yes. I will. They don't like it. They don't like it's like this is this is what romance needs to look like right a lot of people like see themselves or like their future selves in our relationship because like this is how it happens you go on a contest show and you find your forever person yeah yeah yeah chriserson like a daniel steel novel and if you ruin that image for them then you're in trouble yeah yeah yeah you know i i do i do think that there are some pressures to all of it but at the day i feel like we kind of separate it we're good at like logging on the phones and then shutting it off and being like okay hi how are you like what's going on and and having our slower life in san diego and and i know this is random but like
Starting point is 00:39:42 he's still so close with his childhood friends and i'm the same with mine and our childhood friends or friends like we just kind of have this like honestly really small circle that's really grounding and feels really normal you honestly sound a lot like michael and i that's how you just described, you know when to put the devices away and actually connect in person. And you almost, I know if I'm hearing this right, it's almost like you guys are in on the joke, Michael and I feel like this. Like we, it's almost like so crazy what we all do. Yeah. You guys, we're on television. That's different. But it's almost like you have to be able to put the phone away and not like, like drink your own Kool-Aid and have real actual relationships. Well, I think for what Lauren and I do,
Starting point is 00:40:24 we got to meet a lot of different people all walks of life and different notoriety levels, right? Yeah. And I think what you realize, I think if you're somebody who's never experienced that kind of attention or been around somebody with that kind of attention, it feels very strange and almost like, oh, my God, I can't believe that. But then when you get up and close to, most of the people we talk to, you sit and talk to them, you're like, oh, there's just like a normal person.
Starting point is 00:40:50 They're just, their job happens to be something that garners more. attention publicly than like say somebody working in tech or another there's anything wrong. I'm just saying it's just like it's a weird thing. But I think you kind of just realize that then the day like people are just kind of people. Yeah. That's been a big thing that I've learned this year and just even in terms of confidence too is like I feel like if you're looking at somebody like there's some unicorn like this is every single person's first time on earth doing this. This is Chris Jenner's first time. This is even Justin Bieber's, like, these insane people. Like, a lot of these people aren't just like, that, or no one has
Starting point is 00:41:33 superpowers. They just have a little bit more experience than others. But if you're going in for a job or if you're like talking to somebody, you know, you think that these people are like unicorns and then you talk with them and you're like, oh wait, like, I've got this too. Like, this is easy. We're all just here figuring it out. Like, it's your grandparents' first time. It's that, like, when it clicked for me, I was like, you know what? Like, what's holding me back? At the end of the day, this person says, says they're more confident. But okay, same. Like, let's, let's try to play in that space. And just, like, building confidence in that way has been, I think, really helpful for me and not, yeah. And if it makes you feel better on the confident side, sometimes, and I won't call anybody out by name, but sometimes the people that you think will have the most confidence, or at least in our experience, like doing this show are sometimes the most insecure people. Like, you know, it doesn't matter the level of success or fame. Like, sometimes even when the most famous, most successful are still deeply insecure. and unsure of themselves. And so I think confidence is really like it doesn't matter. I think people
Starting point is 00:42:29 think that confidence is going to come one day when you reach a certain level of success or fame or financial stability. Like I think confidence you have that you either have at any stage of life. It doesn't come later. It comes basically from working on yourself and being better each day. Yep. It's not like something happens and then you're confident. Right. And I think a lot of people look at their life and they're like once I get this. Like I'll be that most right? They're like, I'm going to be the most confident person and all this stuff. Looking back, I'm like, I'm still not the most confident persons, but I feel like I've kind of hacked the system in a sense where I'm like, you know what? Like, yes, everybody's just trying at the end of the day.
Starting point is 00:43:06 And like when I'm having conversations with people like really deeply getting to know them versus like, you know, tapping themselves on the shoulder being like, okay, your ego is great. You know, like I think just having normal conversations with people has been really helpful and that's been great for networking too. One thing that I do not mess around with is bedding. Okay. I need 100% organic cotton. I need everything to be so soft and buttery. I am in my bed sometimes nine to 10 hours a day. I get in bed so early. It's like embarrassing at like 7.30 or 8. And so I take my bedding seriously. If you're looking for 100% organic cotton, fair trade certified sheets, you have to check out Bull and Branch. Okay?

Starting point is 00:45:07 pulls the face down and I don't like the chemicals in it. I'm not like a wipe, a wet wipe person on my face. So how I remove my makeup always is with a cleansing bomb. The cleansing bomb that I use is active algae calming cleansing bomb. It's by core organics. You guys know core organics because Miranda Kerr has been on our podcast. She's actually the founder. So if you're looking for something to take off your makeup in a really nice way, this is going to melt the day away. So it's going to give you like a buttery, calming cleansing bomb on your face. And what I notice is it takes away makeup. So if I have like a stubborn mascara or a lot of brow powder on. It just sort of sweeps it off. But most importantly, it has a soothing microalgae in it. And this works with its pineapple enzyme, which really balances the
Starting point is 00:45:58 skin. Miranda did not miss a beat when it comes to her product line. She's very serious about skin and ingredients. And this cleansing bomb, I'm telling you, is so beautiful to remove makeup. It's going to help, remove impurities, and just leave your skin feeling really calm and nourished. I wanted my home to be really clean and non-toxic, and one of the things that I did was I switched out all my candles. I learned about candles about four years ago. I learned that there was paribans in them, phallates. I learned that they were full of triclosin and heavy metals. So I switched everything up. I also learned that the wick has a bunch of chemicals in it too. So I set out to make a non-toxic candle with the skinny confidential team, presenting our clean candle. We are not selling a candle. We are selling peace of mind. This is especially amazing from others.
Starting point is 00:47:12 So our candle is 100% all natural soy. It's sourced in the USA. It has a natural cotton wick. So all of that stuff that burns off into your environment is clean. It also smells like eucalyptus. It's fresh. It's organic. It's refreshing.
Starting point is 00:47:29 The burn time's 42 hours. It's beautiful. It's pink. It's chic. It's simple. But most importantly, it's non-toxic. It's clean. And I'm so proud of this.
Starting point is 00:47:37 because it's something that I was so specific about. I wanted everyone to want to be able to burn it in an office or a little room or their bedroom or in a kitchen. I just wanted it to be something that you could put around your kids and you didn't have to worry. Got to shopspokiniccom to shop our new non-toxic candle. That's shop skinnyconfidential.com. Yeah, we have to like check ourselves sometime because we'll have people come on and we'll think, oh, that person should be the most confident person in the world because of X, Y,
Starting point is 00:48:09 A Z accomplishments and they're not and they're like, well, they should be. And what you realize is it's just like there's so many things that factor into people's personal confidence and in insecurities and all of that. It's just, I don't think it's one thing that just makes somebody confident. The reason that I really wanted you on the show and our mutual friend, Ariel, I said this too, is I think you've done a really good job of evolving your career after Bachelor, Bachelor in Paradise. You've really, I feel like you've, you're very multifaceted. How do you think about what you guys are doing right now in the business and influencer world?
Starting point is 00:48:45 Okay. So I think naturally, so I'm obviously really naturally interested in fashion and in being creative and photography and taking nothing and turning it into something big. Like even when I lived in Alabama, I, have you guys heard of Plato's closet? It's like, it's basically like secondhand store where you can purchase old free people and then, you know, and then bring. it there. What is it called? Like a consignment? It's popular in South and I had one right by my house and I would go there and I would get a dress and I would wear it for a shoe and then I would take it back and kind of return it. Like I had this like not return it, but it was already worn. But I just loved fashion and I loved like making something from nothing. So for me, it's been trying to figure out like
Starting point is 00:49:32 what do I need to focus on because I think that even in this entrepreneurial like industry in general, there's so many places where I could put my energy. But I think just figuring out, like, what are my top priorities for the next six months and focusing everything I have on those priorities and then hopefully hitting the goals. I feel like that's been really helpful for me with business and everything like that. I have a great team too. So delegating stuff, their strengths and my strengths has been really helpful too. What does your team look like? What's underneath the hood? So we have me. then I have somebody who's my director of operations. So she handles everything with or lots of stuff with my app,
Starting point is 00:50:16 my personal brand, just life chats. She's amazing. Her name is Tiffany. So I have Tiffany who's been with me since 2020. And our dynamic is kind of funny because she leads the meetings kind of because that's not really my strength. Like I was like, I don't want to be like CEO as much. Like I want to be like the creative.
Starting point is 00:50:34 Like what's the next moves? And so she like, you know, logs are. little chats on Mondays and on Wednesdays. And at the end, she's like, okay, Hannah, let's do brain dump because I'm, I don't think I'm scattered. I'm just excited about everything. So I have her. And then I have an agent who brings me brand deals and things like that. And then I have management who helps with larger strategy and possible larger opportunities, TV shows hosting things like that in the future. And then I have my app SETI, which is a photo editing app. And we have a team of like devs and everything for that. And then I have some kind of mentors that are just,
Starting point is 00:51:14 you know, that I just have conversations with every other week or so just like, hey, I need to pick your brain. I think that the audience would be mad if I didn't ask you some beauty. Yeah. Health, wellness. Michael. Sorry, we got to know. What's your favorite skincare hack? Something crazy. Crazy? Yeah. Maybe not crazy. But something that you just feel like you do all the time. I keep it so simple. I'm really boring. That might be my crazy thing is how simple I keep it. What's the simplicity in it? I have a serum and I have a moisturizer and then that's it.
Starting point is 00:51:46 I need to get you an ice roller. Yes, yes. I need to get you an ice roller. And I would, I need to start ice rolling more. I'm going to give you one. I would love that. But yeah, I just kind of keep it simple. I don't need to do a billion things.
Starting point is 00:51:58 When I travel, I just usually put like two skincare things in my suitcase. What about makeup? I know it's random. But for contouring my nose, I don't use a dark. contour on the outside. I contour with highlight, which is fun. I learned that from a lot of makeup artists I work with. So I like put concealer where I want to snatch my nose versus contour, which is just a random thing that I feel like I do a lot. Michael's like what are you guys? So what do you think that means? Yeah, explain what you think that means. Have you seen those TikToks?
Starting point is 00:52:29 Yeah, explain. I actually want to hear what you said. So what did you envision just happening if you were listening? Well, I envisioned that the first thing you described. is a darker application. Yes. Okay. And that women put the darker to make it look smaller. Yes. Wow. Actually.
Starting point is 00:52:46 Because when you have darker colors, like, listen, if you wear a black shirt, you look smaller than if you wear a white shirt. Okay. Okay. So I understand basic things. Yeah. And then what you're saying is you use a lighter thing and go on the outside, which then creates the illusion from the center that it's not, that it's smaller. Is that correct? Kind of.
Starting point is 00:53:04 I feel like we got close. Okay. You know what? My husband just did five. days ago. He got salmon spooge all over his face. No, I talked. Oh, really? Yeah, he did the PR. Really? My friend just did that. You're wrong. Jamie, talk to me about what this is. Basically, they're growth factors and exosomes that go into the skin that then signal, and they have some peptides that signal to the skin to then heal more. And he's been running around saying to everyone that
Starting point is 00:53:30 she gets salmon semen. It is salmon semen. It sounds more fun. It is growth factors that help you you're, okay. Jamie, Korean facialist in Austin. The skin is the last thing to really, like your organs internally are going to do a lot more work. Like if your body has 100% resources, the internal stuff that's more important is going to take most of those resources. The skin's one of the last thing.
Starting point is 00:53:51 So when you heal your skin, it's going to, it's not going to do as well as like healing the internal stuff. Are you overcompensating for the fact that you got a salmon seamen facial? I just need to clarify this to everybody. So he just got that. I'm pretty proud of him, though. That's pretty good. Huh?
Starting point is 00:54:04 Yeah. Well, I was just saying, like, I need to think of some stuff for Dylan, like, to kind of dabble in. He's really new to skincare. He's interested in it. But he just uses one product. And he's like, consistency is key. And every day he puts it on and he says that. But I need to get him into a little skin routine.
Starting point is 00:54:20 In San Diego, you've gone to Mo. Go to Mo at Heal Thy Goddess. She's on Cedros. And have, this is how I got Michael into it. Have her do her famous facial massage. It's going to drain. Wait for it. Drain his face.
Starting point is 00:54:37 Drain it so well that he will be coming back for more. It's snatched. She goes in the mouth, the buckle massage, all, everything. You got to go to mom. But the way you get men into this. So people don't get men to do this because they say, oh, don't you want to look like prettier and get rid of wrinkles. And a lot of guys like, no. The way that I got interested in it is like if you take care of other areas of your body or life from a health perspective, like you want to build muscle or you want to eat healthier, you want to lose whatever.
Starting point is 00:55:04 whatever it is, you do certain things. If you realize the skin is, you know, one of the largest cells in the body, one of the largest things that you can take care of in your body, you want that to be healthy. You don't want it to, you don't want it to signal that you're an unhealthy person. So when I started looking at from a health perspective, I'm like, oh yeah, then you see. If you manscape your balls and you don't take care of your face, make it make sense, because the face is what we're actually looking at and what we want to look at. Well, no, but like, it's like a lot of guys that don't take care of themselves as you age. I don't know how old your husband is.
Starting point is 00:55:34 30. Okay, so he's still young, but, you know. He's got to get facial massage from that. You'll start to look sickly over time. Yeah. And then what happens is like people just inherently don't want to be, they don't want to do business. They don't want to do, they don't want to be around sickly people.
Starting point is 00:55:49 Everybody's going to hate him. Yeah. You just like, they don't want to hang around with them. Like if I walk in and I see some guy and say they're pitching me a business or whatever. Yeah. And obviously the business has a separate. But let's say it's an equal, it's an equal business. One is just as good.
Starting point is 00:56:03 is the other, and now I'm just picking. If one guy looks like a dusty old saddle and the other one looks vibrant, I want to go with the vibrant because just like in like subconsciously, I'm like, okay, that one's healthier, better. He spends time on his facial hair. Let's get some actual facials now, right? Yes. I normalize it. I love, I totally, totally agree with that. Tell us some fashion tips. I don't like to follow the trends too, too much. I like to do them here and there. But over time, I've just hated looking back so much of like when I was like, wow, I like tried to do the weird Y2K trend too much or this too much. And I was like, that's not, that's not enjoyable to look back and hate that.
Starting point is 00:56:39 Yeah. So I've been loving the classics, kind of like the capsule wardrobe type of thing. I like incorporating, you know, some fun trends here and there. I feel like that's the fun part of fashion. But I've really tried to simplify my closet. I'm laughing because if you saw my closet right now, it's so full and there's way too many clothes in it. But overall, I have my like main ones that I grab and that I like gravitated. towards. Any wellness things you do on a daily basis that we need to know about?
Starting point is 00:57:09 I'm a big electrolytes girl. Okay. I really like electrolytes. I notice that I actually feel better. Maybe not the day of necessarily, but definitely after consistently just drinking it, like the next day or something, I'm like, wow, I drank a lot of water yesterday. I feel really good. I think it's also helped with my sleep a lot. So wellness, I feel like that's big. I don't know if this is exactly wellness, but building boundaries has been the biggest wellness gift that I've ever given myself. Elaborate. It's been really hard for me. Just in general, I think I'm naturally just kind of like a more of a yes person.
Starting point is 00:57:45 I think over time I would like take a step back and be like, what am I even doing right now? Like I'm not doing exactly what I feel like doing just because I said yes to all these ideas and all these people. Just toxic, you know, just or people that I don't really align with and stuff like that. I feel like just building boundaries for once and like learning that you can actually just say, hey, I don't love how you worded that. Like that kind of hurt my feelings. I never knew that was an option.
Starting point is 00:58:10 I would say, oh, no, it's fine. And I was like, what am I doing? Like, that's sabotaging myself. Like jokes on me. So I think building boundaries and just finally saying something if it's uncomfortable, I know it's probably so like high school to learn that. But I think especially in this industry and work-wise and personal life, I think it's why I have a really small circle, like a really, really small one.
Starting point is 00:58:33 But I feel like it's been really peaceful and really good for my nervous system. You're adorable. Where can everyone find your app? Find you. Say hello. Okay, so you can find me on Instagram. I'm Hannah G11. I wish more than anything I didn't have that one one at the end of my name.
Starting point is 00:58:50 It's just part of it now. Can't you just change it? Well, Hannah Godwin wasn't available. I think Hannah Barber is now taken. I've been Hannah G for so long. Hannah G wasn't available. Plain Hannah. I've like message people about it and. They're like, it's $10 million. Yeah. So I was like, you know, I'll just be Hannah G-E-11. So I'm Hannah G-E-11. That's the same on TikTok, I believe. And on YouTube, I'm Hannah Godwin. And then my app is SETI app. S-E-T-T-Y. And we can go edit our photos on there.
Starting point is 00:59:20 You can edit your photos wherever you are. If you're creative, you can make, you know, your present look beautiful and stunning. So I love it. We're going to do a what's in my bag. Michael's like on the edge of on the edge of a seat. Ooh, what's your dad? I like the bag thing. You do? Yeah, I can see. Yeah, I want to know what's in. Okay.
Starting point is 00:59:38 I get curious. What's in Hannah's bag? Show us the bag. Here's my bag. I love a backpack. So it's actually a backpack. Thank you. Because especially since I just came from the airport,
Starting point is 00:59:49 I can have this on my back and then I can have two hands free, which is great. Dylan got this for me for my birthday when we were traveling because I actually left my purse. I left my purse on the plane. In Singapore once. Oops. No, I actually literally left it. And he was like, okay, for your birthday gift, I'll get you back. So he got me this and I really like it.
Starting point is 01:00:08 And I use it a lot. Okay, we have my wallet. That's boring. But we have my little YSL wallet. How much cash is in there? One trillion dollars. Actually, zero. Howard Stern used to ask that.
Starting point is 01:00:22 He'd be like, how much money do you have on you? I have none. I'm not a cash. I need to have cash. I'm a bring my husband kind of gal. Yes, that's your purse. Love that. I have my sunglasses, my little Chanel sunglasses, which they should be in a case, but I left it at home. I don't know. We do our best. We do our best. I have, I took one of these. So you guys will have to let me know if it worked or if you felt like I was still scattered. I bought them. They're called neuromints, energy and focus. It's like a new tropic for, but like a mint? Yeah, it has L-thianine with B-Vitin. It's not an ad at all. But I tried it out. And, um, um, I don't know. If I acted weird, then it was because of this.
Starting point is 01:01:02 If I was great, then it was because of this. Look at that. Someone could just do an ad in their purse. Honestly, right? Yeah. Yeah. So had one of those. The company's pumped.
Starting point is 01:01:11 I brought, I love these chargers so much. The Apple one specifically because they have the Apple charger, so I don't have to carry around a different charger. Those are the best ones. You can just plop them on the back. They're just so easy. And little, I actually brought two. I flew Southwest today, which I never really fly Southwest because there was a direct flight. And there's no chargers on planes.
Starting point is 01:01:29 So this came in handy. Middold Southwest. Yep. They're not going to like that one. The first one was a good plug. Second was like, I believe Southwest, no chargers. Not the best.
Starting point is 01:01:38 Sorry. Sorry, Southwest. I have, I love hot sauce a lot. I have a little Tabasco and we actually had them at our wedding. So these have D and H for Dylan and Hannah. But I always have Tabasco with me. My big purse over here probably has like 40 in one of the pockets. I put this purse in my big toe purse for when I'm traveling.
Starting point is 01:01:58 But yeah, so I have a little turse over. Tabasco. I'm a spicy, spicy, spicy girl. Okay, I packed one of the Justin's peanut butter just for the plane because I have a long day and a little protein. So, yeah, I always have these for my camera. I don't have my camera in this bag right now, but I love being the girl to take everybody's photos. I have a photo editing out. So, like, I'm always like, okay, I got your photo and then you can just plug into somebody's phone. You can tell us the right angle to take our photo to do. Yes, on it. Easy. Okay, so I have that. I brought actually a water boy. This is the electrolytes that I've been drinking.
Starting point is 01:02:31 I like that there's no sugar. And we know the founder, which is kind of fun. So, Ben drinking those. Loomify. I like Lumify a lot. It's good. I can't use it too much. It's like not really.
Starting point is 01:02:42 Actually, I'm not going to say it's not good for you. I just think you're not supposed to use it a lot. So I use it every once in a while. I have TikToks. Classics. You know, plastics. We just got like this package from TikTok and they had a bunch of these in it.
Starting point is 01:02:56 And I was like, honestly, I love that. It's kind of like 90s. Like, do you want a TikTok? Like, it's kind of cute. It's kind of cute. TikTok is such a good brand. If someone wants to do an ex, just TikToks is just such a good brand. Like, think about it.
Starting point is 01:03:09 Like, everyone knows what a TikTok is. You shake it. It's a little TikTok. My dad used to carry it and it's just a good brand. The orange one, remember the orange one? And I feel like it makes you kind of like a cool friend. You're like, oh, do you want a TikTok? They're like, yeah.
Starting point is 01:03:20 And you're like, okay, here you go. Like, it's like a fun thing. If you guys want any, let me know. Okay. I always have a concealer. I love this land comb all over a conceal. It's so good. So I always like to touch up that.
Starting point is 01:03:32 One of the... What is it called? Lint rollers. Lent rollers. I always just get stuff all over me, especially when I travel. So I always have one of these. There's a lot of stuff on this right now, though.
Starting point is 01:03:43 So I need to clean that. Okay, I promise I'm almost done. I have a little deodorant. This is evolved together. Great brand. It's hot here, by the way. It's a little hot. It's really hot here.
Starting point is 01:03:55 It's really hot. It's a little shocking to people that are not used to it. Well, I wore a sweater. But it's good hot now. That's okay, though. Maybe not this hot, but it's humid there. Yes, I just, for some reason I was like, it's full time, like going to Texas during the day. It's lingering around a little bit right now.
Starting point is 01:04:07 Today's a really hot day. It's a hot day. So this was nice for today. And then I just have a few other little things. Lauren, do you want some of that deodorant? That's true. No, I don't. Oh, no, sorry.
Starting point is 01:04:19 He's making, he's saying that I need deodorant. Oh, okay. I am going to not take a shower. Oh, I'm just kidding. I'm just kidding. Okay, I love this lipstick from Charlotte Tilbury. This is catwalking and then this Mac cream cream sheen glass and just superb. It's a really pretty nude and these two together are really nice.
Starting point is 01:04:44 And then I have my phone. So that's kind of boring. Hannah's bag. There it is. Dylan got it for her. Everyone go follow Hannah on Instagram. Thank you for coming on the show. Ariel, we love you for setting this up.
Starting point is 01:04:55 Thank you, Hannah. Thank you guys. If you're looking to clean up the products in your home, a great place to start is your candles. Go check out our non-toxic candle on shopskinic confidential.com.
