The following podcast is a dear media production.
She's a lifestyle blogger extraordinaire.
Fantastic.
And he's a serial entrepreneur.
A very smart cookie.
And now Lauren Everts and Michael Bostic are bringing you along for the ride.
Get ready for some major realness.
Welcome to the skinny confidential, him and her.
Being in this devilware's product culture where we were scared and there was a certain way
you talk to your boss and things you don't ask.
And if you're sick, like, you're still going to work and you're still showing up.
I think the culture has changed a little bit now.
But we grew up in, yeah, the devil wears Prada era.
Because we were told no.
So early on, it just like kept us going, kept us wanting more.
And now we're just wanting to prove it to like ourselves.
And even we were talking about this earlier, the day we got the call that we got Forbes 30 under 30.
We're like, amazing.
Cool.
Hung up.
We're like, all right, so what are we working on next?
It's just like we just have this hunger that we can't even explain to keep going and keep growing.
Today we have the very fresh, youthful, fun stylist, Danielle and Alex on the show.
I decided to interview them alone without Michael because in this episode, we really focus on fashion tips, styling, how to transform your closet, what we should be focused on for a classic look, and a lot of takeaways, especially for women.
So I kicked Michael off this episode, and it's me, Danielle, and Alex.
I really enjoyed this episode because it was like having cocktails with both of them,
just a very relaxed conversation.
And I also picked up tips from them.
They've styled me for multiple events and for travel.
They've also helped me with work looks.
And they really know how to put an outfit together that's not overwhelming.
They've styled some major celebrities and influencers.
And they're also on Forbes 30 under 3.
With that, Danielle and Alex, welcome to the show.
This is the skinny confidential, him and her.
Danielle and Alex are on the show today.
They have helped me so much with my closet.
I am probably the most annoying client that they have.
I text 100 questions.
I needed a full closet overhaul that I asked them to come on the show
to give us all the secrets, all the tips when it comes to styling,
what not to do, what to do, what to do.
do. Fuck, there's a trend every different day. Should we follow the trend? I wanted to get it from you guys.
And first, before we get into it, I have to tell you, and I told you this off air, the way that you guys work
with clients is so professional and so efficient and so pristine that it's different. I had to have you on
the show. So welcome. No. Thank you for. It's an honor coming from you, the queen of professionalism.
But we need to do a closet overhaul. We'll get into that.
Okay, so let's get a little background on both of you guys.
We'll start with Danielle.
Tell us about how you even got a styling bug to begin with.
Yeah, I always joke and say that it kind of happened on accident.
I went to school for business, came back to New York, applied to 100 internships,
finally landed one in celebrity relations that you were, you know, working unpaid, working
crazy hours. I was commuting back and forth from Long Island. And then, you know, things just start
happening. You get a position open. Fast forward. I was at another PR agency. I met Ali. Actually
hired her for the Celebrity Relations team. And that's where we started getting into trouble.
But you meet stylists that way. I met a stylist Mimi Cottrell, went on to work for her.
That was really the first intro into the styling world because you don't really hear about it too much,
that there's this whole world of celebrity and people get dressed just to get a coffee.
And it's just like this whole new world that I was introduced to and really taught the
foundations of the business. And from there, even went back into corporate because you're still
trying to figure it out. And then, yeah, around COVID, Alex and I launched our business.
I think going back to what you just said, where you said that people don't know about
stylist, I think that I've realized that people don't want other people to know that.
they have a stylist. I think celebrities mainly want to make it seem like it's this effortless thing
that they just threw together. And so the stylist kind of gets like tucked away under the bed.
We see both cases. You see someone who almost wants to like brag that they have a stylist because
it's this like level of success and something cool. And then you see like, for example, Blake lively,
like, I don't use a stylist. And it's like, okay, but like who's who's helping you shop? You know,
so we see different levels of it, but it really just depends on the client and what's needed.
It's giving like I use olive oil on my skin when full facelifts are happening.
Yeah.
Okay. Alex, give us a little bit of your background, how it intertwined with Danny.
I know. It's like an invisible string between us, our whole lives, how we got to this point.
But I grew up in a suburb outside of New York City. So I was constantly in and out of New York,
doing some modeling when I was younger. And from there, I saw what like a full set and a production looks like.
And I'm like, wow, I want to be in this world in some capacity.
Fast forward went to college at Michigan.
And when I was there, I started a fashion program, which Lord and Michael came to speak at the Michigan Fashion Media Summit last year.
It was so awesome.
And that program really is to touch on what Danielle said earlier to showcase what real jobs are in the fashion industry.
Because no one told us when we were in college that you could be a stylist.
It was like you can go into fashion merchandising.
Like that was the only option.
So that's where I kind of learned a little bit more about the behind the scenes of what
kind of opportunities are out there.
Like Danielle said, she hired me, and we just hit it off instantly.
And actually what's funny is we had this desire to show the behind the scenes of
fashion PR and styling pre-Ticot, pre-anything.
We started a fashion blog.
After maybe three days, our Ross at the time calls us in, like two assistants.
And he's like, what is this?
Shows it to us.
We're in this conference room.
We're like, we just had this idea.
Like, we show off what it's like to be behind the scenes.
because we're working at the door for off white and Heron Preston and all these amazing events
and no one knew what that meant to work the door or create a front row for a fashion week show.
So it was instantly shut down and fast forward.
Now that's like all the rage to like show the BTS of the industry.
But all this to say, we always had a lot of ambitions and ideas kind of before they came to fruition.
Be honest when I ask you this.
When you guys are doing what you're doing and you're doing it the old way, this is back, back before.
At 2020.
What are the gaps that you saw where you're like, fuck, people just don't get it.
Like, they got to evolve.
You saw white space.
You saw things that people are just, that your youth wanted that they weren't doing.
I think it was just, the industry, to be honest, is really outdated.
I mean, I still think of, I look at a PR agency and I'm like, what's the point anymore?
Like, there are these massive companies that have hundreds of brands that aren't getting the right attention.
and it's just outdated.
They needed like a younger generation to come in
and like kind of just revolutionize the industry a bit.
And I think that's what's happened in the past five years.
And I think we're headed more towards that way of just like,
let's do things that are different.
Let's like change the industry.
Let's not do an A to B event with the same people
and the same A-list celebrity.
It's really just opened up a bunch of new doors for everyone.
Yeah.
And clearly just more of visibility is what,
everyone has craved and what has come about.
But I was saying, we had this blog.
We were calling it. It was called There With Us at the time.
Because it was like, oh, we'd grab celebs at the door.
We'd be like, there with us.
So we had that name. And what's funny is we were building an Instagram around it.
And we bought the handle from someone.
It was like this whole sketchy deal we were doing online.
I fast forward. I had to go to the Instagram office in Union Square to like reclaim the name
because they were like, it's locked out.
We're like, no, we have this vision.
I told them at the front desk.
I'm like, I'm with Eva Chen.
I'm dropping off a garment bag for her.
total lie, total bullshit.
Anyways, I got into the Instagram office.
Finally, after like an hour, I was in the elevator with someone who happened to work in
IT who helped us reclaim the name.
And it was just this whole funny story, all just to name our business, Danielle and Alex.
And to be shut down like three days later, I'm like crying the bathroom back our jobs.
But you have to go through those things, though, to get the grit to own your own business.
Because owning your own business and being professional is not a joke.
I feel like the resilience that you have to build.
is important. And you guys have clearly done that. So I would be crazy not to ask both of you
all the questions about styling. The first question is, what is just out? Like we got to retire it.
It's in our closet. It's sitting there. It's got to go. It's a no. I would be the first to say
skinny jeans. And I know that's like a big debate, but I know I'm not ever putting up skinny
on my body again. I think there's just so many alternative options and colors and styles.
And we're pretty open to a lot of things. So what about a skinny row black pant? Scoob a
leggings? Very different. Like I love the wardrobe leggings with the little flare on the end. Like that was
very Haley Bieber with the heel and the slit. Like I love that. That's like sleek and feels dressy.
But something about just like a denim skinny gene doesn't do it for me. It needs to be like a bootleg.
So it's out.
Yeah.
So we're going for bootleg.
You know what I don't like, and I'm just going to say it, the new trend of this bubble
pant.
Okay.
I can't do it.
It's not flattering.
Not flattering.
No, I like things that are flattering.
I don't mind seeing that on like a runway just to like see it.
Okay.
But yeah, I don't imagine us styling anyone in that.
But we love like a baggy cargo pant, baggy denim, low waist, high waist.
What are the brands that are highs and lows for pants that you guys are?
gravitate towards. Yeah, I'm really in this phase of my life where I'm especially elevating my
denim. So now when I buy denim, like today I'm wearing Luevae denim. I love Jack Moose
denim. Alexander Wang is like a affordable, really good quality. Who else? Dionne Lee makes
great denim. So I'm kind of over buying the cheaper denim just because I'm looking to build out
my wardrobe, have things for the next five years, 10 years. But if you always,
are looking for more affordable, accessible options. We love girlfriend denim. It's on Revolve and
Forward. We love Park. Our friend Chelsea Park has a denim line. It's really, really good quality.
And then my hack, because we know you love a hack, is if you live in L.A. or travel to L.A.,
there's this girl, her name's Lenny. And she has a vintage Levi warehouse. And you go and you buy the
denim. It's all like pretty affordable. And she'll tailor it to your body. Because what's scary,
I'm like a big vintage fiend. Like I love all of it, especially a vintage.
denim because that really can make her break an outfit. So if it's tailored appropriately to it,
it like you'll wear it every day. Yeah. And completely changes the denim if it fits you great and makes
your butt look good, right? Like you're wearing that denim three times a week. Yeah, so love Lenny.
What are the things that are aging? Meaning like, let me give you an example. We know if someone has
bolt on huge boobs, you can sort of place what generation they're from. We know if someone has a French
manicure that's a certain length with a certain tip that they might have been in the carpool lane
when you were in high school. Like certain things are generational and actually age us. Like even like
with makeup, right? Like I'll see when someone pulls their brow down really low. Like it's aging.
The look is more like upward. What are the styling things that you guys see where you're like,
I can tell that they're born in this generation? Yeah. It's actually so funny you asked us. We just were on
Tavern Hall and we did this thing called the Age War, which is the millennial verse,
the Gen Z. And like, who's right, who's cool? We're millennials, but we identify as Gen Z because
that's just where our style goes. But I think it's so true. The big differences we saw were
millennials overall are like tighter, tailored, fit, skinny jeans, ankle socks, blazers, big bags,
always a heel, healed booty, kitten heel.
And then younger, Gen Z is like, you know, you're seeing athletic jerseys, low-waste, baggy denim,
big jackets.
You're seeing like with the Gen Z, like more like a mix and melding of a styling, like a mini
dress with like an oversized or this like kind of juxtaposition of like masculine feminine energy
versus with the millennial styling a little more elevated perhaps tailored like Danielle said.
But you can spot someone on the street and you can be.
like, even I was sitting having lunch and I'm like, okay, millennial, Gen Z.
Like, we were playing this game.
That we're having fun with it.
Yeah.
So, so what are things that we can do to keep it fresh, but still like I don't want,
I'm not trying to look like Gen Z.
I'm not Gen Z, but I also want to keep it fresh.
So how do you balance the two?
I think it's always safe and classic and effortless when you stick to what do you look your best in,
stick to like neutral colors.
T-shirt and jeans.
Always.
Like forever.
Jeans, white tea, belt, great earring, great shoe, great bag.
You cannot go wrong.
What mistakes do you guys see besides the skinny gene?
What are the things that are quick little points?
And this could happen with accessories or shoes, rings, like go off on all the different things
that you guys see.
I know you guys sit around when you're having wine.
You're like, fuck.
I cannot with that.
Like, give us those things.
It's almost more of like a vibe.
Okay.
Than it is like something specific.
I feel like when people try really hard or like decked out and too much designer where it's
very in your face, we definitely don't like that.
We like more of an effortless look.
Yeah, I was going to say it really, some people can just carry clothes also.
It's a little bit more innate versus a learned thing.
But it totally can be taught.
I think, yeah, mixing and matching too many colors.
is we really keep it neutral.
Like our closets are black, gray, white, tans, browns.
Don't mix brands, I think.
Like today with these, I'm wearing like a Lueva print on my jean.
I wouldn't really have worn a liar t-shirt because it just doesn't make sense.
One highlight moment in the outfit.
Let the rest work around it.
I'm kind of into, and I don't want to shock you guys, I haven't text you this yet.
I'm kind of into like primary colors right now.
Like the other day I did a red shirt.
You love your reds.
I do love red.
I think it's sexy.
So how can we, and I'll tell you this too, everything, the pendulum swings.
Okay.
So everything right now is beige and white and black.
And I'm telling you it's going to swing back.
And whether it swings back in five years, it'll swing back to the other side.
So I'm wondering how you can incorporate color in a way that.
it feels fresh. Because to be honest, I'm a little bored with beige. I've seen too many beige houses.
I'm this studio. I'm doing something different with it. It's too much beige. I'm ready for a little bit
of depth. I went to my friend Mark Moulet's house. He lives in New York. He's the best style.
His house has all of these beautiful artistic prints in different colors everywhere. And it was so
refreshing to walk into someone's home that had a point of view that was different.
than everyone else's.
I'm bored with doing what everyone else is doing.
And the beige, while I love it,
if I see one more beige outfit on my feed,
like I just can't.
So how can we sort of go the other way with the color?
I think, I mean,
color in general,
I love a monochrome look.
Like if you're going to do red,
let's like, I think of Elsa Hoss and like all her red
or all blue or just like that really creates a moment.
instead of like picking and selecting different pieces.
You're so right though.
It gives personality in depth, which is really important when you're trying to like relay an image.
So love that.
Or just integrating it in like an interesting way throughout an outfit.
So maybe it's not just a red tea.
Maybe it's a tea that has a spark of red.
And then you have like your little Hermes handkerchief hanging off your bag that has some red intertwined.
And then maybe you have like a red sock with like a loafer hanging out.
Just like subtle details that feel really styled.
Hair clip.
Yep.
Like could be so simple.
Okay, so do subtle detail and don't go so on the nose, meaning like, so.
Or completely on the nose, monochromatic, full look, one or the other.
I really like brown.
I think, though, you're going to see a pushback with beige.
This is my opinion.
I think you're going to see the pendulum swing away.
I think everyone's house is going to not be beige anymore.
I just incorporated all of this teal and blue into my bookcase.
Pretty.
I'm just like, I'm going to like,
just buy things that are beige. Like, I can't, I can't do that. The TikToks and the Instagram and the
Amazon storefronts that are all beige, it's a little like, it's boring. It's one dimensional.
Yes. That's my opinion. I think things just ebb and flow and I mean, even personal style,
you go through phases. I can even say, we used to only wear sneakers. And I never thought there'd be a
day where we haven't put a sneaker on in so long. In a year, literally. What are the shoes that you
guys gravitate towards and what are you guys wearing right now? I'm actually wearing Rebecca Minkoff.
Cute. Cute. Yeah, love her. Shout out. And also because we're in Austin, I was like, I want to do like
some kind of cowgirl inspired shoe, but loving ballet flats, loving boots, love a platform shoe.
Honestly, anything but a speaker. And a loafer. I'm wearing Tony Bianco loafer, which I love
Tony Bianca make really accessible price points, but emulates the trends in a really nice way. But
yeah we have not put on a sneaker.
What I like about the way that you guys style and the way you guys dress is it's a whisper.
So instead of coming so on the nose with a full cowboy boot and like a fucking cowboy hat or like,
you know what I mean?
Like being so Austin, it's just a whisper of it.
I think that's what makes you both so chic a stylist is it's not too in your face.
Just a mood.
Just like a mood you're in.
It's a vibe.
Sometimes I want to be so New York.
I want to wear all black and my leather jacket.
and my sunglasses and just go unrecognizable and go to L.A.
And then we're like cooler and we're wearing Bermuda shorts and baby teas.
So just depends.
If we're editing our closet, what is staying?
What is being kept?
Well, Lauren, you know we did this with you.
Yes.
You guys edited my whole closet.
We came in hot, but I mean, it's hard.
It's really hard to do.
It was not.
I was so happy after you left.
It was like, oh.
Is there anything you miss?
No, not one thing.
Exactly.
Don't remember.
If you haven't worn it in like three months, get rid of it, literally.
It's really hard to cleanse.
But ultimately, yeah, if you're not wearing something, why do you have it?
Or stored away for your daughter one day.
But basics.
Like, everyone needs great undershirts, teas.
Everyone needs great denim.
Everyone needs great jackets for fall.
I would invest in your shoes and your bags.
And like a great blazer.
Great blazer.
But like as far as jewelry, you can get affordable, really cool, great quality jewelry.
great belts, and it can really look like an elevated luxury closet for, you know, somewhere in the
middle. How do you avoid, though, the overly millennial blazer? Like, what makes a great blazer?
I got, like, a little sick of blazers. Not going to lie. I know. Me too. I'm a little sick of
Blazers, too. That's why I'm asking that. I don't know that I can do it anymore. We were really doing
that. I mean, again, we were doing, like, blazers and sweatpants. You're doing blazer any day.
It was like the Haley Bieber blazer time.
Now if I'm wearing a blazer, I want a cropped blazer.
I want something that's like really big on the shoulder and cropped and just like interesting.
Like just like the one black YSL blazer in my closet.
Like you just need the one and wear it.
Otherwise we're really, we're like dressing up leather jackets.
We're dressing up like more like modo or like workwear jackets in a way.
We're kind of replacing the blazer with that.
I agree.
And I didn't.
Yeah.
I didn't want to say this because I'm not the stylist.
but I agree with let's move away from so much blazer.
It's been a lot of blazer.
And it'll come back.
Yeah.
It'll come back.
But then it'll be a different cut.
Yeah.
Right.
I think what turns me off about a piece is when it's too severe.
Meaning like I saw this girl on a show the other day and like the sleeve was like this big.
And it was just like too much of a just too much of something.
Meaning like if it's cropped, it's too cropped.
it's too cropped or if it's if it's a skinny gene it's too skinny do you guys feel like that or do you
like one severe moment i don't think we lean too severe ever yeah i don't think you guys do either
whisper subtle even as stylists like our goal sure there's a time and a place where you want to
push the boundary and do something really creative and cool but ultimately like no we want our clients to
feel their best look their best feel like themselves like i know i used to leave the house uncomfortable
I will never do that.
If I'm not comfortable in an outfit, I'm changing.
We literally have a bad time if we're out.
If you're uncomfortable, I can't be in the mood.
And also you elude, I'm not elude.
You exude that.
It's an energy.
Yeah, it's like you're not, it doesn't feel effortless, right?
If you're not comfortable in it.
So I think that's a goal with our clients too.
Is like, is this something you feel like you in?
We're here to help you elevate it and put a twist on it and make sure you have all the
pieces.
But yeah, let's not try to get too far away from.
what your style and what your vision is.
What are the classic pieces on a budget that people can find?
Meaning, like, you guys gave me, this is random, but you guys gave me, like, the sock to
buy on Amazon.
You gave me, like, the white tea to buy.
Can we give those little tips to the audience?
Yeah, I bet me and Alex are probably both wearing Haynes, white socks.
That's all we're in.
And our other Haynes hack is we wear white Haynes boys, like youth boys tanks that we order
and, like, a size, like, large for us.
And that comes from Bella Hadit too.
Put them in the dryer once.
And like it's, we wear that all the time over any white a turn tank I have or anything else.
White Haines boys tanks.
You very supermodel.
Do you guys have a storefront?
We do.
Okay.
Can you do a storefront on all these things we talk about so they can go shop?
Because I want to go shop those.
So you will wear those over these expensive tanks.
I do want to say I live and die in my Victoria's Secret white tank because it has a built-in bra.
And it's like maybe $17.
We're really weird about our bras and like boob situations.
Why?
Tell me more about the boob situation.
If I don't have to wear a bra, I'm not wearing a bra.
So if you're going to build a bra in my tank, I'm going to wear it all the time.
So I live in the Victoria's Secret tank.
It comes in white, navy brown.
Please make more colors.
Also, I feel like a bra weirdly, it's like one of those subtle details that you don't
think about as like a normal consumer that actually can really elevate an outfit.
it. I have this one bra that has like the flower straps on it. We'll link it. And when I wear that,
I get so many compliments and like under like a white tank, my black bra and jeans and like effortless,
cool, but like subtle stylistic details. What are some other things? I mean, Commando,
everyone should have a black Commando body suit. I'm sure we put that in your closet. Like the
turtleneck, the scoop neck. Wolford is great, a little bit more expensive, but things you have again
and you wear all the time.
How do you accessorize?
I'm so simple.
I am actually a new two-tone girl.
When we first started styling,
we always used to be like,
you were more two-tone,
and I'm like, no, no, no.
If the bag is gold, they're in all gold.
There's no mixing.
I think there's a way to do it,
but like even today, I'm a new two-tone person.
This is new.
But again, I'm really simple.
I love like just a watch, a few rings.
Heaven Mayhemam watch?
No, this is a little
Carty tank, but I do
I do need, I saw the watches,
we love Heaven Mayhem, I mean, she's great.
I have like the earring and her belt
that I'll wear together and then it's like
you don't think about it.
It's like you know that's going to look good.
I love what you talk about with like decision fatigue.
You coin it, yeah.
Like you can't, you have to just tell me where to stand.
Like I'm someone, I have so much going on
that I just need to be told like this is,
this is right.
And that's why I think you're right when you feel
best in an outfit, you should keep repeating it, different iterations.
What are people doing that's not flattering?
I'm someone when I'm styled or when I'm dressing myself by myself, I have to feel flattered.
I'm not like a stick on a runway.
I'm someone who has curves.
What are the tips for flattering someone?
Yeah, I think it depends on your body.
So if a client was coming to us, one of the first things we do, we have an intro call
we're like, what do you love showing off?
Is it your legs great?
You're going to want a mini dress.
You're going to want to show off the legs.
Is it like something else?
What do you not like?
Do you not like your arms?
Okay, great.
Let's not do a tank.
So first it's really about knowing the client.
Even we're opposite, right?
Like I'm more, I'll show my legs any day.
And Ali's more like I could wear a sport crowd and her abs are out and she looks great.
So it really just depends.
How does someone flatter for?
from color and fit standpoint.
Meaning, are there certain things
that you gravitate towards cuts?
I think height is a good thing to note.
For our shorter clients,
you know, we're putting them in platforms
on the red carpet,
and we're putting them in the mini dresses
versus someone who's taller.
You know, you can do more of a simple, slim dress.
Even looking at you now with your warmer brown hair,
I feel like we could lean into what we were talking about for browns and some of these primary colors.
When you were blonder, I'm sure you were gravitating towards other colors.
So I think that's really important, too, when we look at someone seeing what actually works with their skin tone.
Do you guys ever do color matching with people?
We have to.
We have to done it yet.
We have to.
I feel like that is like you guys should work with a color matcher if anyone's listening that you guys like recommend to people.
Do you know what I mean?
Like you have that in your rolodex of tools.
I feel like if we would be like recommending Rosie, our astrologist,
but we'll get more on the color trend.
Without intentionally doing it.
Like, we both kind of, we have the innate thing that just kind of work.
So I think we're kind of doing it naturally.
That makes total sense.
You guys, when you just look at something, you just know the colors.
Yeah.
Style or fit, anything.
Like, I think now, even when we're looking through a rack of, before it's even on a body,
we can visualize it and, like, know if it's going to work for a certain client.
That's just, like, training.
Where did you guys get your professionalism from?
because you're very, for how young you are at starting a business, you guys are very, very
professional. And I think it's a, it's a real tool in your toolbox because people would
underestimate you by looking at you. And I've seen you guys be like silent killers.
No, we love it. And it's so funny because behind closed doors, like we are so different and so
chill. But yeah, we have a really strong worth ethic, I think, just from growing up.
And I think really from being in corporate and being in this like devil wears Prada culture where we were scared and there was a certain way you could talk to your boss and things you don't ask.
And if you're sick, like you're still going to work and you're still showing up.
We're like, amazing, cool.
Hung up.
We're like, all right, so what are we working on next?
It's just like, we just have this hunger that we can't even explain to keep going and keep growing.
What is it like working with some of these celebrities?
What are the horror stories?
Give us the juice.
There's a lot.
And it's from our whole career.
But I think something we've noticed is that the bigger, the celebrity, the more like amazing they are to work with.
And we always thought it would be different.
And then usually the vice versa is true.
Not that they're terrible, but like maybe someone's a bigger pain in the ass or is more difficult.
But at the end of the day, we know it's a service industry.
We're here for a reason and it depends.
But we're also in a place where we prioritize our clients and we work with people that we believe
in, truly support, truly look up to and like believe in what they're doing.
it's always more than fashion, right? Like you, you have so much going on. You have dear media. You have all
these things. The world of like influencer and social personality is so, so much more that people
don't see now. I am a diehard symbiotica fan. I have a huge drawer in my kitchen dedicated to
their supplements. I have vitamin C. The packets are so good in your water or just plain like before
a workout. I have their glutathione, which I take all the time when I'm drinking alcohol or just
like daily on the go when I need a boost. And then I also really like their magnesium. They come in
these packets. They taste really good. Sometimes I'll even like use their magnesium as a dipping sauce
for fruit with my kids. I get really creative with it. They also have like a magnesium spray that I love.
I spray it on my skin before I go to bed. I put a heating pad on my neck. It's like a big heated pillow
warm and delicious. And I'll put the spray underneath it. And it's a dream. Their product,
are the best supplements. Seriously, they don't have any filler, any harmful ingredients. I'm so
into their products that I've interviewed the founder multiple times. I just like that they're made
with intention and they have integrity. There's no seed oil, preservatives, toxins, artificial additives,
or natural flavors. They're really transparent about where they source the ingredients.
You should know that the products that I like are the liposomal delivery, which means your body can
absorb the nutrients faster and more effectively than traditional pills. They're delicious.
Mix them in a smoothie, eat them on their own.
They gave you guys a code.

The newest launch brow peptide.
Oh, I'm so excited about this one.
I have been using castor oil, as you know, on my brows and eyelashes,
and sometimes even on like little spot.
on my hair line forever. And the Egyptians used to use it in ancient times to grow their hair. So it makes
sense that we would use it now. But I couldn't find one with a little extra umph. So I wanted to create my own.
I added a peptide to organic, clean, cold pressed castor oil. So it's kind of like castor oil on
steroids. The peptide that we added nourishes your hair follicle and really helps you grow hair.
So the castor oil already grows the hair and you add the peptide and it's amazing. So how I use this product is I use it morning and night right when I'm done with my skincare routine. So I've sort of like habit stacked it. What I do is I ice roll, do my skincare routine, put on my caffeinated sunscreen. And then immediately in the morning, I brush my brows with the brow peptide. And I also add it to my lashes, even sometimes my hairline. At night, I do the same exact thing without the sunscreen, obviously. And then I'll go to bed.
and I'll reap all the beauty benefits while I sleep. It's obviously non-toxic. It comes in a beautiful
pink tube and it has a unique custom wand where you can apply it on your brows or your lashes.
You're going to be obsessed with this one. It's kind of like my baby. I'm very excited for it.
You can go to shopskinicconfidential.com. I would get on subscription because we're probably
going to sell out. We do sell out a lot. Go shop our brow peptide at shopskinyconfidential.com.
I was talking to someone who I get spray tans from and she was telling me like a bunch of stories
like off the record. And I said it's probably hard for you to spray tan people because the person
that you're spray tanning is in such a vulnerable state because they're naked and exposed without
like any filters or any good lighting or any sort of production. They have to like literally strip naked.
And for you guys, there's a similar energy of you're dressing people and there's this intimacy that people have with their body where if they don't like how something looks or if something doesn't fit that they thought was going to fit, there's got to be a projection onto you.
And I think you guys know what I'm talking about and where I'm going with this.
How do you guys deal with that in a professional way?
I think always if it's our first fitting with someone, I like to say like, hey, if you put something on it and you hate it,
say it. You don't have to spend a minute or a moment on it. It's going to help us learn if you love
something. Also, you can see in a fitting someone light up or something. Like, you just kind of know
when it hits. We've created a very delicate dance between the two of us and a fitting of like,
even the way in which we zip or something, like we know who's doing what. So like there's never a moment
of doubt of like, ooh, it's not going. Like we just know how to maneuver those situations to make it
feel really comfortable. Yeah, especially if you're zippering something and right, me and I kind of look
and we're like, all right, this is not fitting.
There's a way to...
We have a silent, like, conversation happening.
There's a way to get out of it.
I also think, like, this one, this designer runs small.
Yeah. No, all the, all the tricks, tips, we want people to feel comfortable.
I mean, we don't fit into sample.
Like, it's hard.
Some design, it's crazy.
I mean...
But in a way, because we're younger and we almost create this, like, hanging out environment,
especially with these, like, younger social stars that we work with, that's why I think
they like working with us because it's like a hang out, we're chit-chatting and doing all the things.
And like they're going to relate to us more than maybe some of the older stylists that exist out there.
What are some moments that you guys have had so far that have been pinch me moments?
Oh yeah. I mean, Lindsay Lohan for sure. I think we were really nervous. We did this amazing fitting and
just her walking to the room and speaking and you like hear her voice that you grew up knowing.
We were like, oh, oh, yeah, that's so weird. Like so familiar. But obviously.
is an icon and we grew up, she completely shaped fashion when we were growing up in the 2000s
and like her Paris Hilton and- 100%. When you work with Lindsay, is she like, this is what I want?
Or are you like, this is what I think you should wear? She was so chill. She was literally like,
what am I wearing? And we're like, this. We love this for you. Puts it on, loves it. Great.
Here's a shoe. Watching her then like go out and do her thing is also a whole other level of like,
wow people. I mean, I feel that way about Kay Adams too.
She's our like sports girl. When she goes out and does her show and does all these appearances or does like a Netflix special, we're blown away by how like people just turn their talent on.
She works with Haley, Heckman. Yes.
Yes. Haley Hickman, I think that's who introduced me to you guys. Yeah, I think that's where I met you guys.
It is. Who are some other like clients that you guys have styled that are on your feed? I know you guys started.
working with Alex Earle. Tell us about that. I think that was a big moment for us and just within the
industry because we honestly identified her and went out to her team at the time when she was,
I think maybe a junior in college, like really pre any of this. But like we saw the growth happening.
And I think we were at lunch. I remember you looking at me. I'm like, because there are some people
will do in a trade or like a collaboration to kickstart the relationship just so that there's like
this trust bill. They're like, hey, we actually really believe in you.
so much that we want to like out for you and then see where this goes. We're literally at lunch.
I'm like, this girl's going to be a star. You were going, I'm sick over it. We need her.
I was nauseous. And that's what you know. Your gut. Who is it? And she's like Alex Earle. And
and Ali made it happen. And I was like, oh, yeah. And now, yeah, it happened so early on with a lot
of our girls that we started working with. We're like this like next big thing. And then they blow up and
we're like, we saw that talent. And that's honestly part of our job. We're scouting our own client.
And so we need to find people that like represent us and where we think the industry is going.
But yeah, working with Alex was so cool.
All the brands were so down to give it a try.
And she was really down to test out different styles and shapes and sizes because she had never been styled before.
So I think we kind of introduced her to that world.
Who are the other talent that you guys work with?
What's your Rolodex?
Give it to us.
So right now we've been working with, we're in like the real houseways of New York era, right?
Our client list kind of ebbs and flows.
We're also in Dancing with the Stars right now.
So we work a lot with Jenna Johnson, Kelsey Anderson,
who, yeah, her fiancé's on Dancing with the Stars.
And her dad is the current Golden Bachelor.
So she's having a really cool moment.
Just did a fitting with Danielle Jonas.
She's going on tour, obviously, with Kevin and the rest of the squad.
Don't you guys also work with Paige?
We love Paige.
She's honestly one of our first clients.
And she has a point of view, too.
It's such a fashionista.
I mean, in our fittings with her,
they're so always from day one have been so effortless and seamless because she just knows what she likes
and looks good and everything and can do a like big range of looks. I think that's why I liked working
and I like working with you guys is it is collaborative. So it doesn't feel like you guys are like giving me
like this is what you're wearing. Like I'll be like I want to go to Italy and I want to really lean
in to red, green and blue. I love when you do that. It's so fun.
But it really is because honestly, you're probably one of our only clients that really, you'd put a lot of effort into packing. And we appreciate that. But when you have a trip coming up, you're like, here's the theme. Here's what I'm doing.
Down to the iPhone case, though, you have your color skin going. It's appreciated. It's really appreciated. I think we need more time. We'll talk about that. But I'm going to New York next week. Can you guys help me? Come to the office in New York. I would love it. We'll do the whole thing. We got to talk to Katie about that. She has me booked like a.
Drill Sartcher.
It's the New York energy, though.
It's great, right?
Like, New York is that hustle.
Austin is, like, a great mix.
I love it here.
Yeah.
And then L.A. is, like, more chill than Hollywood, right?
So I feel like you get the three best places.
I do.
I say L.A. and New York are my mistress.
Exactly.
I fuck it.
I suck it.
Then I leave.
I would love to live in Austin.
That's why I'm married to Austin.
This is my marriage.
And when I need a little fun, I just go to my mistress.
You know what I mean?
Yes. When you are, if someone's listening and they don't know where to start with styling,
when you guys are building out a closet for someone, how can you help someone that has no idea
what they're doing? Because there's a lot of people who are listening that's like, this is so
overwhelming. I don't even know where to start. Yeah, it's hard. I think step one, cleanse, step two,
basics. So build out those essential pieces. I think denim, jackets, accessories, shoes, bags,
sunnies. I was also going to say sometimes it's even just thinking who whose style do you love,
who do you want to emulate and how can you create your own twist on that? Is it like the Haley-Beber
vibe? Is it like the Jackie O vibe? It just like depends where you're leaning towards and then
you can build from there. What are you guys seeing that's up and coming like way ahead?
Besides the lack of beige that I'm predicting. So we're like coming into holiday. I don't know.
I love like a lot of texture. I feel like that's usually big in the fall and the
winter. So like cashmere sweaters mixed with like the glamour and the sparkle and the sheer and the
jewels. There's a lot of layering we're seeing. It's actually into fall winter. You know what color I love?
Let's hear. We're back to the colors. Navy. Yes. Don't sleep on Navy. And I'll tell you why. My best friend
is so chic. She like doesn't have social media. She doesn't give a fuck. She like never,
she hasn't posted since like 2013. And she was like, I,
I don't love black because it looks like a retail store because everyone's in black.
And she said, and everyone does black.
But Navy is a giving black, but it's not black.
So it's kind of just a little different of a twist.
I'd even say mixing the two is sometimes a little taboo, not to be crazy.
But I agree.
I used to hate navy and black.
I feel like growing up my mom would be like those don't go together.
Those are the myths of fashion.
You're like told that are just really not accurate at all.
So how would you mix Navy and black?
Explain it.
I would say like black trouser.
Okay.
Can we mix in a white tea?
But sure, even a black tea and like a Navy cardigan like thrown over or the shoulder.
Maybe a Navy phone case.
Perhaps.
Perhaps.
You know what we call this in my brand?
We just implemented a touch of blueberry.
Cute.
Yeah, that's in our brand guidelines.
We now have blueberries.
So I'm really into Navy right now.
I'm having a navy moment.
It's such a good color on you, especially this hair color, blue eyes.
Like, yes, you should lean into all of the blues.
How are you guys feeling about hair colors moving forward?
Because I also think with hair, you don't want to get stuck in a trend.
For instance, if it was really cool to get big, chunky highlights when you're 21 and now you're 41,
it's important to evolve so you don't look like there's been 20 years that have passed.
Does that make sense?
But it's like stuck in a trend.
Hair is, I mean, we're obsessed with our hair.
We've been joking forever that like one of us needs to go blonde because there's two of us.
We started blonde, she did.
Yes.
And now we've morphed into one person.
But hair is part of like an outfit.
Yes.
When we're especially working with a client, it's not just the outfit.
We're collaborating with makeup and hair to make sure the whole vision comes to life.
It's not like a one-man show.
But you see in fall, right?
Everyone on Instagram now is a brunette.
everyone goes darker when it gets colder.
Did I see that Haley maybe went a little bit lighter?
She's a trin set.
She's doing the opposite.
So maybe we see people go more blonde.
But I don't know.
I love a baliage.
I'm into like a natural vibe.
I like a natural vibe too.
That's not too harsh.
And I do love the, what do they call it?
The cowboy, the copper.
Whenever, you know, I go through phases of like,
should I chop my hair off?
Should I dye my hair red?
Should I get bangs?
I like your hair.
I think it's perfect.
It fits you. Someone told me that you should be the hair color that you were when you were little.
Like that flatters your complexion. Of course. Yeah, I've never died. I touched it. Just let it be.
Don't let it be. What kills a look? And I'm not talking about the outfit, meaning makeup, jewelry, purse, shoes. What kills a look?
It all matters. Right. It's hard to like, it's like harmonious.
Yeah. But of course, like your hair.
and your makeup, I mean...
I think it's just like doing too much.
Yeah.
If you have a loud outfit, then you have like the big,
having my hemorrh.
It's like, all right, girl, like, relax.
Like one thing at a time.
It's all about balance.
We're really big on the masculine, feminine mix.
So I think it's about if your hair is really effortless and down,
you know, maybe you're in an edgier outfit
versus if your hair is like slicked back.
maybe you're in something girly.
But yeah, it's hard to just pinpoint what it is.
I think the whole thing matters.
Your bag matters.
Your shoes matter.
It's just a position, too.
Exactly.
We use that word all the time.
It's unexpected twists.
Yeah.
You don't want to wear a floral dress and wear like these soft, like romantic waves.
At least for me.
Yeah.
I'd wear leather jacket with a floral dress.
And like a slick back.
Yeah.
And it's a little unexpected.
What about?
bags. Tell me about bags. What bags? You mentioned small bags on Gen Z. What's your vibe on big
bags? If you're going to invest in a bag, which bag are you guys picking? Give us the whole bag thing,
because I think the bag is important to the outfit as well. Absolutely. I think that's what you
should be investing in. We love St. Laurent. We love Botega. Everyday bags. Yeah, we're wearing
like a nylon prodda. Depending on her outfit. I mean, I changed my bag maybe once a day. I changed
multiple times a day. Yeah. I love a vintage bag. Even like Foward has Foward Renew now where you get
an easy way to source it because people get really overwhelmed by vintage shopping, which I kind of alluded
to earlier. Right now I'm in my Chanel bowling bag era. Do you think it adds like again, unexpected
twists? I love that the hobo bag is now back too. Like Alia makes this really big bag.
Yeah, big. Who else has hobo bags? The row. I mean, seeing a lot of big bags in New York and I'm loving it because
we've been like small micro bags for so long now and over it you could only fit a lip gloss who are
the trends that are brands yeah i think the oh gs right now i mean we've been watching like paris
runways from afar i mean really into acne studios for us has really inspired our style
keperni elia elia is like everywhere like everyone's dying over alia right now okay and i like how
the row did the address on the cup just from a branding perspective i thought that
that was really smart because they said you can't take pictures of anything,
but everyone's going to keep the cup.
And what are they going to do with the cup?
They want to show they went.
That's a whole fucking strategy rabbit hole that I could go down.
They want to say they went to the show.
How do they say they went?
They show the cup.
What's on the cup?
The address.
They have to show the address because if they show the other side of the cup,
it's just a white cup.
This is level of elusiveness, which is really cool in a time where everything is so out there.
Yes.
And it's also incredible.
incredibly strategic branding, and I appreciate that. Yeah, and we love that. I mean,
from our background in corporate, right, we have seen that side of brands and how much it goes
into planning events and the show and like the whole bigger picture and, you know, who are they
dressing? What celebrities are they loaning to, right? Not every brand will loan to your clients.
It really depends on who they are and if they fit the brand. And that's just the way it is.
And brands have a whole different list. Because of corporate, we have a really good
understanding of that like full picture. Yeah, you guys see all the different edges. I want to go through a
time of day look and and I want you guys to walk us through how to deal with it. So like a workout.
What's like a great outfit to where to a workout? Walk us through the whole like imagine like we're
in clueless. I go to Solidcore every morning. So I wake up and I either put on a onesie from
set active. Okay. Love set active. Just easy, right?
like I'm half asleep.
I'm just putting on a onesie
and my hained socks
and running out the door.
Or I'm wearing...
I think an important detail
to the outfit of your outfit
is you have the cute
fendi slides, like the clogs.
And those elevate
when you're like running an errand
after.
You got to tell us about the fendi slides.
I love a slide.
You can't tell us.
She's like, I put on the hained sock.
You got to tell us about the slide.
Love a slide.
Love a clog.
We're fall.
I feel like we had to say this earlier.
Clogs fall, the mule,
the slide in,
obsessed.
I think it's the best.
shoe. I think it's so cool. Very passionate about this with like a gene even and like to dress it up.
But it just gives that like effortless cool look. And also I just want to slide shoes on.
Like time is money. Or money is time. I like it saves you time. I have to put the foot in.
That's my favorite shoe. No, we're like the girls at the bar who are wearing like clogs and everyone's
like you don't go on here. But that's a shoe. What my mom used to wear, I'd be like what the hell
are those and now I'm obsessed. You know, this is often a tangent. What we were talking about.
branding. Burkonstock just launched a foot caroline.
Genius.
With lotions and oils, I was fucking dying.
I sent it to my whole team.
I'm like, this is how you do it.
You disrupt yourself, but add a different layer to it.
I just have to tell you guys that.
I love that.
I feel like you're the only people that would appreciate it.
That's so smart.
I appreciate it.
Yeah.
Genius.
No, we're wearing Birkenstocks.
We're love and ugh.
Like, please, like, send us all the platform ugs.
They have so much cool new styles that are out.
They have like a new puffer one.
They have a new like Sherling one.
We just put it in a whole order.
It's hard though when everyone's doing the same style.
That's where I tap out.
When I see everything, everyone doing the same claw clip, I have to look somewhere else.
Like I can't, it jumps the shark for me.
By the way, the best claw clip I've ever used in my entire life.
By the way.
Please enlighten us.
Celine, the plastic clips, and I'll tell you why. It's expensive. However, it's a clip I wear every single day.
The white one, the tortoise shell one, the pink one, that's my clip. So I'm just saying like, it's like if every single person on the planet is doing it, it's like, it starts to become like, I don't know the word.
The second I see my friends now in baggy jeans, I'm like over it now. So it's just like trying to stay ahead.
That's why it's, that's why I think things come back. Like,
a burk and stock. It's like people get fatigued by it. They get saturated. And you try things out.
Like for a while, I was wearing hiking boots out and I got a lot of pushback. But like I stand by it.
The Javier, the Haviana's coming back. Surprised me a little bit. I just got the red ones.
But they're back. I know. It's because like, well, I really like red. We discussed this.
And also it's, it's a quick slide on as a mom when I want to just look. Three, four years ago, you were,
you wouldn't have gotten one, I don't think. I think now because it's back in style.
Yeah, I think it's because of the row. Yeah, it is.
Which I text you about, what did I text you yesterday?
They have the clear available by the way.
We're looking.
We're hunting.
I text you.
I said, I'd like the row, red, the thong.
It's easy to throw on.
You know what I mean?
Yeah, you like a easy shoe to put on.
Yeah.
Especially on your trips.
You want to be on and off.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Simple, simple.
Mm-hmm.
Okay, so we're at a workout.
We're doing a set active onesie.
We're doing Haynes socks off Amazon.
We're doing a clog.
You do a fendi clog.
What else?
Anything else?
Are we doing a sweater over the, over the, I'm in New York, so it's cold.
I'm throwing on a leather jacket.
Oh, to work out.
See, I love that.
Yeah, like, then I'll go on my coffee run after.
I love, like, a fleece.
I'm very into it.
In L.A. is kind of cool.
Or again, sorry to repeat myself, but, like, a vintage oversight sweatshirt, like,
Princess Diana vibes.
Like, this is, like, my favorite outfit to wear.
I feel like you feel cool when you're, like, in the little bikers,
but also have, like, your weird layering pieces that make it your own.
Where are you finding these vintage princesses?
Diana, sweaters. You got to come shopping with me in L.A. I'm going to Melrose trading post on Sunday,
Silver Lake Flea. I have a couple things that I'm going to text you guys about Fendi slide,
oversized sweater. I'd prefer Navy. Yes. What are other things that you guys see happening? I'm seeing
a lot of people wearing like hotel brands on their outfits. Do you guys see trends that are really up and
coming that you think are here to stay? Or one.
that are going to go.
I mean, they all come and go.
I'm trying to think I,
New York and L.A. are so different.
In the fall,
I feel like I get into like my Adam Sandler vibe
where you're like,
it's like that mix of like oversized comfort.
Like New York gets cold.
You just want to be in like fleece and layers
and big scarves and leather
and like a big puffer.
Like I can't wait to wear North Face again.
I think that we're going to see come right back.
Trench coats, a lot of black leather trench coats.
But LA is a whole different world.
I don't know what you've got going on over there.
We still pretend that there are seasons, even though they're not.
A trend I'm really into this fall in terms of eyewear,
because I feel like that's an important topic in terms of our outfit.
I've been really into like translucent sunnies.
I have this pair have in my bag from Elisa Johnson.
And they're like so cool and just like elevated and look or Bonnie and Clyde just came out with this like,
you know what you're seeing like the school wear kind of like slender, clear glasses?
Yeah.
All the like cool girls are wearing them.
I can see you in those with the mic.
cool.
Yeah.
They're going to send you that.
It's like a reading glass.
Like literally like a library would wear.
I have the little St.
Laurent ones that are like exactly.
The little cat eye.
And you can wear them inside.
That's the idea.
Or the big aviator ones.
That's kind of like what I have.
Yeah.
They're like cute too if you're not wearing a lot of makeup and you just want to keep it simple.
Yep.
Okay.
I have to go back to my list.
Okay.
So after your workout, let's say you're going to the office.
What are you wearing?
Well, a version of an office.
Or pretend someone's listening.
they're going to 9 to 5. Yes. I am, I don't know, it's been a while. What am I wearing to work? I'm wearing
I think like a good trouser, right? Love a trouser. There's such great trousers out right now. I wouldn't even touch base on that.
Luevae, Acne Studios, Alexander Wang. People are making like elastic waistbands with just like really, really nice trouser.
Great for workwear. Isabella Grubman has a great trouser. She just gifted me. It's blue. Oh, baby blue. It's
Sheik. And she knows, I feel like it's flattering, too. She has a great trouser. She also is pretty jewelry. Also, you, uh, favorite daughter? Great. Frankie shop. If you're in corporate 9 to 5,
Frankie shop, go to Frankie shop by the entire store and you do not need to go anywhere else.
But maybe like not too much blazer. They have vests, which we're still doing. They have cropped little bombers that are really cute.
And they have more than just blasers for sure. And like, you can wear trousers in a t-shirt, a, a,
long-sleeved body suit, white classic button up.
I don't know.
And what are you doing for a night out?
Like a night out where you want to look hot?
So our idea of being like a hot girl is wearing a vintage t-shirt, leather jacket, baggy jean, and like a loafer.
I know that's very niche.
But I think it, I don't know, I feel so good when I'm dressed like a tomboy.
What's some leather jacket?
This one is all sane.
So this is like a pretty...
But what's the leather jacket?
Everyone should invest in.
Oh, Cuperny right now is my favorite.
It has no pockets.
It's simple.
It's sleek.
What if they have $100?
A girlfriend.
Abercrombie.
Abercrombie makes good stuff.
I do not sleep on Abercrombie.
I love their tape tops.
Lioness great leather jackets.
It's really cool.
They have a boutique of dupe that's sick.
They do a really good job of mimicking in its own way.
Before I ask you, what's in your bag?
Do you guys have anywhere where people,
can go and get resources or information on how to style because working with you guys and
working, I also work with Emily Lafayette in L.A. And working with stylists has been really,
really helpful for me to refine my style. Is there anyone, is there anything that people can do
that are listening where they can just go and use you guys as a resource, whether it's your Amazon
storefront or you have like, I think you said you have something. Hell us. Yeah, I forget that like,
it comes so natural to us and it's hard to remember that like a lot of people have a hard time
getting dressed every day or just simple. I think Pinterest, Instagram, save everything you see that
you love. Like we're constantly looking on our like save tab on Instagram, Pinterest. If I'm having a
hard day where like I really, I'm not feeling inspired. I don't know what to wear. I'm like looking
on my phone and just copying someone's outfit in my own way. But I think just having a base to get back to
Yeah, we're on TikTok.
We're trying to build out a little bit.
But even we posted a video about like packing for a trip and like little clear shoe bags that we have and how we line everything up on a clothing rack the way you do.
And that like popped off.
So tell us how to pack.
Give us more tips.
Ooh, love this.
We yeah, take it away because this, you really shine in this department.
Step one, we try everything on and you take a mirror selfie 100%.
You think in the moment you're going to remember.
This is so much work.
I need a body double.
Completely.
But how.
Amazing when you're on the trip and you don't have to think.
And by the way, this is how we pack our clients.
So even if they one or two looks come in for a fitting, like it's the same process.
So come in, we'll take a photo of them or if I'm packing myself.
I'll take a mirror selfie.
Get the foundation of the outfit done.
Not talking accessories yet, not even really a shoe yet.
I'm just getting the foundation of my outfit locked in.
Then put it all on a clothing rack and then kind of cross-reference my itinerary or
our client's itinerary of what they're doing to making sure it's all actually necessary.
Cutting out any fat, any outfits out. No fat. No extras. From there, then I'm going through
each outfit and adding in earrings, bag, shoes that match, putting all that in a little clear jewelry
bag that you can get on Amazon. We'll link it. And then the shoe, the bag, and the, and the sunglasses,
everything goes into these clear drawstring bags that we then label and it would be like red mini dress
or like whatever correlates with that.
And it all, one side of the suit,
you're the related suitcase queen,
but one side is usually clothing.
You like to roll or you like to lay flat.
You like to lay flat.
You are packing a suitcase.
You're laying every item flat.
No folding, no rolling.
Everything's flat.
Everything's nice.
And then the other side are all these like clear bags
with all of your accessories.
And then there's always room
for like extra little white haines.
Can you guys send me the bags
so I can link them in the show notes
and all of the stuff?
We have that in our Amazon store.
front. Okay. That was that was really helpful. I do need a body double. Yes. My measurements. Um, okay,
first step, let's do what's in your bag. Danny, we'll start with you. Okay. That's girl. All right. So this is
one of my new favorite bags. I love this color. Forget what they call it. It's like,
top handle bag. Top handle bag. The color. It's good. It's like this like really beautiful green.
Obviously, I have two colors of my favorite DMY, DMY sunglasses. Okay. Do not go anywhere.
without, they're everywhere. They're in my car, they're my apartment. They're all over.
Okay, we have my phone. I'm pretty sure you have the same phone case as me. I have my mini brush.
Cute. You put me onto this. Actually, the last time we were in Austin. Is it watermelon?
It's the watermelon, Arma, Colosha. You have to froth it, though. I've just been doing the ice cold water.
It's so good if you froth it. Okay. It's like a cocktail. Sometimes as you take keel in it, trust me.
Okay. Trust. Trust.
What else? What else? We got a lot of lip options. We're just like too many things. My lip liner, my Dior.
This morning.
We have the brow peptide. Yep. Because we are big eyebrow girls. It's to really grow those brows. I just used it this morning. We love a big brow. I feel like, yeah, we like good eyebrows.
You both are going to like love, I can just tell by your eyebrows the way you brush them because it's like the last step in your routine.
You know, before you go to bed, like, why would I not be habit stacking my brows growing and lashes while I'm sleeping?
No, I love even, I just noticed this brush is so cool.
Yeah, the brush is just for the lashes.
If I was on an island and I could only bring a few things, like I would bring like an eyebrow brush, a hairbrush and like a lip liner.
A hair brush, wow.
Yeah.
That's like 80th on my list.
I know.
I never brushed my hair.
That's it.
We got some car keys.
And of course, my road.
Lip gloss.
Lip gloss.
Lippeptide.
Oh, and this.
I know Allie's going to have these in her bag, too.
This is my thing.
Yeah.
It's a wisp.
Got to have a wisp.
Yes.
Ali just went to Burning Man, and apparently these were like, those were my gift.
Very important to bring.
Yeah.
Burning Man would be really important to have.
It was a hot commodity.
Clean breath.
It was.
What's in your bag, Allie?
Show us.
Chanel bowling bag, which is my new obsession.
Ooh, there's a lot in here.
My diaper bag was that bag, but a diaper bag.
That will be me in the future.
I have a phone charger because Danielle has never once brought a phone charger on any trip we've gone on.
So I provide for the two of us.
Love it.
There's always someone that has the charger.
When we travel, Alex is like the responsible one.
What else do we have in here?
Today I slicked my hair.
So I have my wax stick with me for flyways.
Cute.
You have a lot.
We might be here a while.
You've got a lot in the bag.
I won't bring out everything.
I do think this is the best.
If you have a full face of makeup on the one-size travel setting spray, keeps you fresh.
Hide to go as a stylist.
Okay.
Necessary.
Branch Basics needs to make that, redo that.
100%.
And then my lip combo is the makeup forever.
I think this is wherever, anywhere caffeine.
And then this is truly the best lip ever, the Ole Herrickson and Coco.
I won't bore you with the rest.
You got a lot in there.
I know.
I got a lot in here.
Oh, there they are.
Show off my...
These are the sunglasses we need.
Because they really are everything.
Oh my God.
Those are cute.
They're really good.
And what brand is this?
Elisa Johnson.
Can I try them on?
So I don't have to...
I know you guys over text because let's just see if they fit.
They're really look good on everyone.
I love sunglasses.
So cute.
Don't you really do something to the eyes?
So cute.
Where can everyone find you to work with you?
Pimp yourselves out.
Where can they follow you, ask you questions, all the things.
Yeah.
I think we're really responsive.
in our DMs on Instagram.
Like love answering questions.
We're going to start doing more of polls.
But it's Danielle and Alex and Alex is with an I, A-L-I-X.
That's it.
Instagram, TikTok.
Yeah, Alex is our TikTok girl.
Are you guys taking clients?
Always.
You are.
We do a lot, like, do celebrity, do influencer,
but we do a lot of, you know, personal shopping, private clients,
a lot of like wags, right?
And then if any brands are watching,
we help with events or gifting.
You kind of use our PR background a bit.
So love it.
You guys are great.
Thank you for helping me so much with my closet.
I might need another edit soon.
Oh yeah.
We're coming back for Michael.
Michael, we're coming for you.
Atrocious.
We didn't forget.
Are you serious?
I've never seen anything like it.
And it's like he has to like buy the same color and like it's just it's obnoxious.
He's worse than me.
You guys, thank you for coming on the show.
