Welcome back to the skinny confidential him and her.
Well, today it's just her.
It's just me.
You have me solo.
Michael is not here because I am giving a pregnancy update.
Now, if you're not pregnant or you've never been pregnant,
I feel like maybe this isn't the episode for you.
I don't want to overwhelm you with every single detail.
But if you are pregnant or you have kids, maybe this is relatable
because we're going to get into sort of every aspect of my pregnancy and my
journey and how it's been. I feel like I've done a blog recap, but I haven't really gotten into
specifics. And the mic is the perfect place to do that. And lucky Taylor, because his mic is hot,
too, so he might chime in with his pregnancy questions. I know, Taylor, you probably have a few
interesting ones. I'm sure I'll jump in and think of one here or there. I'm sure you will too. I'm
sure you can't wait to hear how the sex is when you're pregnant. Anyways, so that's what you can
expect from this episode. We're going to talk about everything from my baby.
shower to my morning routine when I'm pregnant, to nighttime routine. That's changed a lot.
To gaining weight, to no wine, to sex, to what I'm eating, to supplements, exercise,
nursery prep, my back, the works. So hopefully, like I said, if you are pregnant,
this episode inspires you. Maybe you're trying to get pregnant. Maybe this episode is relevant.
And again, if you're not a mom or soon to be mom, I apologize. Maybe go listen to the Jordan
Belford episode, huh, Taylor?
I can't wait for part two when he comes back on.
Yeah, that's one of my favorites.
All right.
So first, the baby shower.
If you guys didn't see the baby shower and you need more context of what I'm about
to talk about, you can go on my Instagram and there's a highlight that says baby shower
and it's a whole breakdown.
I was so detail-oriented when it came to my baby shower.
I just really wanted what was in my head.
I had this vision of how I want it executed and I couldn't.
sleep unless it was executed. I feel like once I get attached to a vision, I have to have, like,
have the vision come to life. So I decided that I wanted to do an alligator themed baby shower.
And the theme of alligators came from Patricia from Southern Charm. She threw this major party
on the show and there was alligators everywhere all over the table, humping and doggy style.
And then I wanted to implement my own touch, which was pastels. I'm starting to flow my Instagram,
towards more of a pastel-y look.
So it was perfect to use the baby shower as a transition on my feed.
And if you think that's psycho, I'm aware.
So I obviously messaged Patricia and I told her what I was going to do
and she offered to send me all of her alligators, which was amazing.
And so we used her alligators and then we also ordered a bunch of alligators and spray
painted them in different pastel colors to decorate the entire shower.
So that was like the foundation was the pastel alligators.
So think like lilac, baby teal, a little bit of yellow, like a light yellow, though, not a mustard yellow.
And then a baby pink, lots of white, bright.
We did it at the Beverly Hills Hotel, which is where I did my announcement shoot.
We recreated Faye Dunaway's iconic post-Oscar moment in front of the pool.
And so I thought having the shower at the hotel was just like continuing the story.
And then we just did pastels everywhere.
It was like pastel flowers, petals L.A. shout out.
They're amazing.
we really worked with Encore events.
And if you guys are throwing a party and you're in Southern California, Britney is the
fucking best.
Let me tell you.
She's at Encore Events, 90210 on Instagram.
And I found her through one of Kylie Jenner's friends.
And she had created this like ballerina baby shower for this girl.
And I thought, okay, this girl can bring my vision to life.
And Brittany just like did every little detail exactly.
how I wanted it, which is rare because I feel like sometimes I'm not the best communicator of
what I want in my head. And she just, when I walked in, it was just absolutely perfect. There was these
huge large pastel balloons everywhere. We had pastel cocktails with cotton candy in them. There was
manservants wearing pastels. You can see the whole thing on my Instagram story. I'm also putting up
a blog post so you can Google the Skinny Confidential Baby Shower so you can see visuals. I feel like
that's easier. The invites really important. This, this, this,
was like telling everyone the theme without telling them.
They were these alligator invites.
And they were dark green and they had pink font, pink envelope, pink marble.
So you didn't know if it was a girl or a boy.
It kept you guessing.
And we went through bliss and bone.
They also did my wedding invites.
They are major if you guys are looking for invites.
So no one knew the gender.
And they got there.
And the way we told them is we had half the manservants wear pastel green and half the
man servants wear pink.
and then when everyone was nice and toasty
because I wanted no games, boys, co-ed,
the whole thing, no opening presents.
When everyone was toasty and buzzed,
just how I like it,
I had them come out to girls just want to have fun
and they had all switched to pink outfits.
Taylor, did you like that moment?
I did.
I like the way that they came out.
I missed the other,
them wearing the other colors.
So I only saw them wearing the pink.
But I also knew,
so I guess that doesn't really,
I think I was a little bit biased on what I was paying attention to do because I
accidentally slipped no no one knew only my sister Faye knew and Michael knew obviously
and so they came out they we did girls just want to have fun they had pink everything
pink cotton candy pink stereo pink phone pink rosé and then there were these huge signs that
said Michael so fucked nice little fun touch and we found these pictures of Michael
dressed as an alligator when he was three. So we blew those up and they were dancing and it was like
Bagotel in South of France, but not in South of France at the Beverly Hills Hotel. So yeah, the whole party was
very fun. I recapped it on the blog and I just thought I would just give like a shout out to the people that
helped me bring it together before we got into this episode. Okay, so that was the baby shower.
Now let's switch it up to morning routines and we're going to go into nighttime routines and
gaining weight and all that stuff too. Morning routines. This has obviously changed since I
have been pregnant. It still starts very slow and methodical like I always like a morning routine
because I don't want to throw myself into the day and up my cortisol immediately the second I wake up.
But there's also little tiny different things I do because to be honest, it's harder to get around.
Everything that used to not be overwhelming is more overwhelming. So I wake up at seven hopping out of bed.
Everyone says they're tired when they're pregnant.
I am hopping out of bed.
I think it's because I drink wine like three to four nights a week.
And so maybe the wine made me tired in the morning because normally I used to wake up at 7.30.
That's what it could be, huh, Taylor?
I have gotten my eight and a half hours of sleep.
It's seven.
I open the blinds.
Like always make the bed.
Do all you guys know.
I do light movement hydration.
And then I make this sports tea.
And this is an electrolyte ginseng.
vitamin C tea. This is a tea that's super nostalgic. I've I've had it since I was literally 10 years old.
There was this bagel shop by my house that I used to walk to after dance class. And I would have this
tea and it's just like this amazing nourishing, hydrating tea. And for some reason when I got
pregnant, my body started craving it. It was so weird. It's just full of electrolytes. I think that's
why. I think my body wanted electrolytes and I've tried to do that my whole pregnancy, which is like just
really listen to my body and be in tune with my body.
So anyway, I ordered a whole bunch of this tea. It's sports tea. You can find it on my blog. I think it's like,
you just Google the skinny confidential best ice tea and it will pop up. And it's totally safe.
And I make a huge picture of it and I have it in my refrigerator freezing cold so I can just pour it in my hydro flask with lots of ice.
So I do that and then water with lemon. And I'm really, really thirsty right now. And I guess that has something to
do again with the baby. I don't know the scientific reason. You could look it up, but I'm really
thirsty. So I do a bunch of water and a bunch of iced tea and like make sure my house is in order
because I'm I'm kind of, I know this is so basic, but like I'm nesting, I think because my house
is like so organized. Everything's like down to a tea, like labels facing out like crazy, which is
I know going to change when the baby comes. But I have my essential oils on. I have really relaxing like
French jazz on and I make that those two hydroflask and then I go to Pilates and I like to walk to
Pilates because I like to get that movement in. We're going to get into that, but I want to talk about
Skillshare. So guys, some of you have asked me how I do my Instagram story videos and that is thanks
to Skillshare. So here's what I did. I had two people from my team really dive into Skillshare and
learn a new skill, which was Instagram video. With Skillshare, you can learn how to do these Instagram
videos like for stories and it just really helps for distribution of content. There's so many creators
out there that are just creating content, but they're not thinking of a distribution plan.
And with Skillshare, you can learn things to help you distribute your content to get it out
there. So perhaps you want to get back into an old passion or learn something new. You can get
that and expand your creative buyer with Skillshare. Tons of different options. Skillshare is an online
community for the creator in all of us. They have thousands of classes. Okay. So for
photography, creative writing, design, productivity. It's kind of everything in one place where you can learn these really valuable skills with so many tangible takeaways that you can apply to your own business or side hustle. Go on there, browse the website, get inspired, join a class, and create something you'll love. I mean, with Instagram story now, there is so much fun stuff to learn. Or if you don't have time and you want to send one of your team members to Skillshare, that's a fun thought too. I did that. I know Taylor's picked up so many skills.
He's really, really helped me refine, like I said, my distribution.
So one of the specific classes that I went with if you want to go and search is the Photoshop
Essentials training course.
Go search that.
You'll love it.
So many benefits if you're creative and just all around very easy, seamless process with
Skillshare.

guys wild. Get started today by heading to Skillshare.com slash tSC to sign up. That's
Skillshare.com slash TSC. Okay, back to pregnancy. Now, this is kind of different. So before I
became pregnant, I was doing strength training and a lot of TSC body and some, you know,
heavy-paced walking. And when I walk to Pilates now, it's much more mellow. So I'm much more
zoned out. I have really comfortable shoes on. I just got custom orthotics,
because my back was bothering me.
So I'll listen to a podcast, usually Lewis Howes, Ed Milette, Rachel Hollis.
Oh, my God, there's so many good ones.
Just something to get my mind stimulated.
And if you noticed at this point, I still have not checked my phone.
I don't want to check my phone in the morning.
I feel so much more anxious when I check my phone.
So I'm still doing that practice.
And so I walk to Pilates.
It's like 15 minutes away.
And I do Pilates.
and Pilates has been such a game changer since I've become pregnant.
It's lengthening me.
I feel tighter, which is weird because I've gained weight, but it feels like tight weight.
Does that make sense, Taylor?
Yeah.
Like my body feels tight.
When I first got pregnant, I was like stuffing my face and we'll get into that.
And then I was, I said, wait a minute, I'm not eating for two.
Okay.
So Lauren, put down the cinnamon.
buns. So I did after a month of eating too much. And now that I'm doing Pilates six days a week,
I just feel longer. I feel taller. I feel if I wasn't doing Pilates, I wouldn't feel this tight
pregnant, if that makes sense. So the girl I do Pilates with has really good energy. And I was really
thoughtful about who I was going to spend six days a week with doing Pilates. Like it needs to be the right
energy. Farah, who came on our podcast, you know her, she recommended this woman to me, and she's just
been really soothing for me the entire pregnancy. I know that sounds weird, but I'm really a big believer in
the energy that you're around the baby picks up on. So any energy that you're feeling,
like I feel like it transfers to the baby. So if I'm going to work out fucking six days a week,
and I'm going to be somewhere for an hour of those six days, it needs to be the right energy.
I don't want to be around toxic energy. I don't want my cortisol up. I don't want screaming
music. I want Zen vibes and I want to get a good workout. So I do plotties and then I walk home. And again,
I listen to a podcast. I just like take my cortisol down like zen. Then I come home and I start to
make breakfast. And for breakfast, I've been doing a lot of fruit. Kenzie Burke inspired me to start
my day with a lot of fruit and I feel like that gets things moving. So I've been doing like mango,
gooseberries, berries,
pineapple,
kiwi, just a big bowl of fruit.
And then at the same time, I'll simultaneously
order a green smoothie or make a green
smoothie. And that you guys I've talked about
a lot of times. It has iron in it. It has
magnesium in it, things that I need when I'm pregnant. It has
kale, spinach, lemon, ginger,
like a green powder, and berries,
sometimes half of a banana.
And I just feel like it's getting the baby
all the nutrients, right?
away. And if we're going to get specific, I like to drink it in a certain glass and I like to drink
it with a softy straw because it's like no BPA. And again, this could just be me being nutty because
I'm dead sober and I'm just being extra psycho, but I just like having it with my certain cup
and my softy straw. So after I have a drink in my smoothie, I usually start making my list of
seven things that I need to do. And that's the Ivy Lee method. We've talked about this before.
for you can listen to the productivity podcast for details. And I go into my day. And how my day is different
now is it's slower. It's I don't cram as much in. And I try to walk more, but not like a fast
pace walk. Just just I try to move my body as much as I can because I've noticed that I feel
better when I move. There's been like a couple days that I've sat on the couch and done nothing and I
notice my back hurts more. So the movement is really key. And again, the sports tea, I've just been
drinking it throughout the day. I think the electrolytes have really helped too. You should note that
if we're talking about supplements here, I do take ritual prenatal. And I've discussed this on my
Instagram before. I've talked to a lot of health and wellness experts and they all recommended ritual.
And then I obviously did my own research after taking the normal ritual. And I like their prenatal.
And then since we're just on the supplement topic, I try to drink at least a gallon of water.
I try to drink a lot of water.
We already talked about that.
I like to get my protein usually from eggs.
So if you're like, where are you getting your protein?
It's usually with eggs.
And then I also try to do in the morning this thing called Floredex and I'll put it on the blog.
It's an iron supplement.
So I'll do a little bit of that.
And then I have these tinctures of stuff that I've looked into.
So it's a little bit of iron.
It's called Yellow Doc.
I'll put this on the blog, too.
I'll do a whole post on it.
So you can just Google the skinny confidential pregnancy supplements.
And then I'll do like a fish oil.
And I do three beef liver capsules.
And this is a little bit more iron.
And then later at night, I like to do like a calm magnesium.
The magnesium is really important for the baby.
And then there's this other tincture that I like to put in my tea called oat straw.
Before we get into that, let's discuss pretextia.
We discussed them a little bit in this episode, but let's get super detailed.
So obviously you guys know I've been taking ritual for the last year and a half.
It has been a staple every single day, something I put next to my tongue cleaner.
But then when I found out I was pregnant, I switched to the prenatal.
I'm kind of into the prenatal, like even if I wasn't pregnant, though, because I feel like my nails and hair are ridiculous.
But that's a whole different story.
Taylor, if you're listening and you want to grow your hair, try the prenatal.
Anyway, for those of you who are thinking about it, trying, expecting, you got to try ritual
essential prenatal.
It's conceived to deliver the essential nutrients.
It has DHA.
So we want the DHA.
I've read a lot about this to the folate.
Follate's another important thing.
And it's basically what you need at every stage of thinking about getting pregnant or trying
to get pregnant or, like I said, expecting.
Obviously, if you're pregnant, you're going to be an obsessive label reader like me.
So you can go on the site and you can see everything.
laid out. Everything's very streamlined. They have vegan-friendly, sugar-free, non-GMO, gluten-free,
allergen-free ingredients, which we all want. Another thing that I like about ritual personally is it saves
you time. Ritual is delivered straight to your door. So it's a super easy subscription to start.
You can also stop it at any time you want. But I'm telling you, you're not going to want to stop it
because it's one of those things that you'll just seamlessly implement into your daily routine.
You should also know that ritual is essential for women. So the one that I was taking for a year and a
is like a minty peppermint flavor where the prenatal is lemony. So, I mean, there's nothing I like
better than lemon and mint. You can't go wrong here. Better health doesn't happen overnight.
And right now, ritual is offering all skinny confidential him and her listeners 10% off during

So those are a couple things that I've been doing. And I know that sounds maybe overwhelming.
So I am going to do a blog post on linking everything and explaining why I do those.
But I do do some tinctures. I do my prenatal, my fish oil, my prebiotic, which is my inulin,
I still put in my coffee, which I drink 200 milligrams a day. That was approved by my doctor.
so the pregnancy police can suck Taylor's nipple.
Or I do matcha.
I listen to my body.
Like if I have 200 milligrams of caffeine in front of me, and I don't say I'm going to drink all of this every day.
I say I'm going to drink what I want to drink.
And sometimes that's two sips.
And sometimes it's the whole 200 milligrams.
And sometimes I'm like, let's do a fucking plot twist.
And I switch to matcha.
I really just listen to my body and my body tells me yes or no.
So, like I said, those are my supplements.
Okay, quickly, night routine, and then we're going to go into gaining weight.
Night routine is very different than before I became pregnant because there's no socializing at night.
I'm not a big fan of doing dinner because I get too tired, and I'm in bed at like 8.30,
sometimes 9.
Turn my salt rock lamp on.
We have ocean noise, white noise machine obsessed with that.
If you don't have one, you need one and putting one in the same.
the baby's room and a lot of reading. I've been reading so much since I've become pregnant because
I'm in bed so early and I'm usually asleep by like 93010. My lights are out. I use the specific
long worm pregnancy pillow and again anything I talk about it's on the blog. So if you just Google
the skinny confidential pregnancy pillow you can see a visual. It's this long weiner and that's on
my side of the bed and then I have like barefoot dreams my silk pillowcase. My sleeping
is like down to a T. I've really optimized it because I am in bed more now. And I like to sleep
butt naked. Taylor, don't pop a boner. But I do because I just want to let everything hang out like
an old sow. You, when you're pregnant and you have to wear bras, they can be so uncomfortable. So to just
let everything hang out is, is ideal. Sometimes I'll do a silk robe, but most of the time, I'm just
letting it hang out. And I'll dim the lights. I'm making a mood in the bed. The dogs love that I go to
bed early. And I will always in the night with cereal. I'm obsessed with this cereal. It's called
Barber's multi-gain cereal. And it's non-GMO. It's this delicious, crunchy cereal that's not
too sweet. It's kind of like a non-GMO version of life cereal. And then I do Malk, M-A-L-L-K,
almond milk in it. And it's so good. I do blueberries, too.
It's just like the best way to in the night.
It's probably not the smartest thing in the world to have carbs right before I go to bed,
but that's what my body's craving.
And I don't know if it has to do with the folic acid in cereal, but that's what I want.
I want cereal.
And I want it pretty much five nights a week.
So I end the night with cereal.
And then I brush my teeth and I read my book and I am lights out dead asleep.
And then I wake up like three times to pee.
But that's a different story.
You have to pee like every minute.
poor Michael he wakes up when I literally breathe too loud so he has to wake up three times a night. Someone told me and this, I don't know if this is true, but your body is prepping you to have to wake up in the middle of the night. So that's why you constantly are waking up. And so if I wake up, I have my phone on airplane mode because I don't even want to look at social media. I will read. And some books that I'm reading are Belly Lass by Jenny McCartney, good one. Idiot.
there's a book called idiot not jenny's an idiot there's a book called idiot that i just read that's an
autobiography um i'm reading some books on the kennedy's which is like one of my favorite topics
a lot of different ones i just read troublemaker which is about scientology demi more inside out
the life of john f kennedy america's a reluctant prince uh mom truths and to catch and kill so those are
some books that I have been reading right now. And my latest is I just downloaded one about
Carrie Fisher's life. So I am just immersing myself in reading. I'm a huge autobiography fan.
Not a big business book fan when I'm when I'm in bed and like just want to be cozy and relax.
So and I feel like the autobiographies for some reason, just get my cortisol down, which you're
trying to do when you're sleeping. Anyway, so that's my nighttime routine. Now let's talk about gaining
weight because this is a subject that was intriguing to me. I feel like not a lot of women,
and I could be wrong because I haven't been consuming pregnancy content before I got pregnant.
Talk about gaining weight. And this is wild to me because I feel am I unique that I think
it's difficult to gain weight? I don't know. Now, I also think that some people think that you
can't simultaneously be super happy and grateful that you're pregnant, but also be like, fuck,
this is a lot of weight to gain in a couple months. I don't think that the feelings are any, like,
I think you can totally have different feelings about something. I don't think they have to be the same
feeling. Like, I'm so grateful. I'm pregnant. I'm so excited. I can't wait to meet my daughter,
but also the gaining weight thing has been really difficult. And it's, the thing is for me is,
It's not just in my stomach.
Like I feel like my ass has widened.
My legs have widened.
And nothing fits.
Everything's uncomfortable.
You have to be.
I haven't really gone into too many maternity clothes, but everything I've had to order has been larger.
You just kind of feel like I said it earlier.
I feel like a sow.
Taylor, do you know what a sow is?
I have no clue to be honest.
I've never even heard the word.
It's like a pig that's like on her side.
kind of like a cow.
You know when they,
is it when they land the side
and all the little babies
are sucking on the mama's teeth?
Yeah, and you're like,
nipples change
because your boobs get big.
It's just a lot of change
in your body
in a short period of time.
And so I think if you,
like, you know,
before I got pregnant,
when I would gain weight,
it would be like slow.
Now when you're pregnant,
it happens all at once.
And you're like,
fuck, this is a lot.
And you start to stress.
Like, am I going to be able
to get this off?
should I not have eaten that full loaf of sourdough last night and two cinnamon rolls,
which happened to me this weekend. And it gives you anxiety. At least that's how my experience
has been. So the weight gain has been interesting. And what I've tried to do is just really not
give it too much energy. But at the same time, I think that it's important to use my platform to really
talk about what I'm going through. And one of those things is, fuck, it sucks to gain a lot of weight at once.
and that's just being real with you guys.
Another thing I realized early on is that I told you this earlier that I was not eating for two.
Okay, I thought for the first month I was eating for two and I kind of gave myself excuses and then real
quickly I snapped myself back into reality and was like I'm not eating for two.
I need to eat really healthy.
Everything I put into my body is going to the baby.
So I need to make smarter choices.
And if I want to indulge, that's fine.
But I need to like check off the smarter choices of my list,
which is why a smoothie for me has been great because I don't fucking feel like sitting down eating a green salad.
Honestly, that sounds gross.
Fish sounds gross.
Like all these things that I used to crave before I was pregnant that were healthy, I'm not craving now.
So the smoothie's efficient because I can just drink it down and I'm like, okay, I can check that off my list.
But yeah, I mean, all I want right now to be honest with you is like carbs.
Potatoes, sweet potatoes, sourdough, cinnamon buns.
And thank God I haven't gotten into a fast food craving.
I'm grateful for that.
Like I tried a bite of in and out and it grossed me out.
I don't know if it had to do with the meat.
So anyway, I'm trying to be mindful about my choices when it comes to the nutrients that
the baby's getting.
And then if I can check all those nutrients off my list, like I'm going to have probably
a piece of sourdough.
And let's hope that it's raw fermented sourdough from the farmer's market.
But sometimes it's not.
So again, I'm listening to my body.
I'm starting to work on a plan for how I want to lose the
weight after the baby comes, but I'm not going to put too much pressure on myself because I think
upping my cortisol with that would make it harder to lose weight. So that's that. Wait, quick break,
we are going to talk about just fab. So seasonal trends come and go. I mean, you know this. It's like
one second, it's the snake skin healed booty and the second it's something else and it's another trend.
So if you're like me or very into over the knee boots right now, you can tell that from my Instagram.
and I found a bunch of over-the-knee boots that are so affordable on JustFab.
Most of you guys have heard about JustFab.
I've talked about it a lot before.
I talked about Stasi's new collection.
I was on her podcast recently, and she has this whole amazing curated collection with

any terms and conditions do apply.
And now it's time to get back to the show.
A lot of questions on if I'm in a breastfeed.
I don't know because I've never, ever, ever been pregnant before and I've never had a baby before.
So I'm the type of person that wants to go in with my blinders on and see, you know,
what my own experience is.
I don't want to base what I'm going to do on what everyone else does or what everyone
else says I should do.
I'm going to go into it with an open mind and see what happens.
So I have no fucking clue what I'm going to do when the baby comes.
we'll have to see. And I, and just like, by the way, by the way, I am surprised at how the culture is
about breastfeeding. I don't know why anyone would care what anyone else does with their body.
I think that that is everyone's own prerogative and choice. And if you want to breastfeed or you
don't want to breastfeed, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's you, that's you do you. So if the
pregnancy police want to come from me for breastfeeding, come and get me. I'm here. But I, I, I, I,
I don't know. I just feel like if I feel like if you're concerned about what people are doing with their body, other people, like, and you need to get busy.
I would like to see it because I guarantee you that she will not go quietly.
No, I just think that like you're wasting your energy towards what someone else is doing when you're worried about, you know, if someone's breastfeeding or not.
It's time to get busy.
You would, they would have to drag you kicking and screaming.
No, I'm going to do what I want.
And I think everyone else should do what they want.
So another thing that's been hard is no alcohol.
No alcohol has been hard.
I mean, it's not that I want to have a drink every night.
It's more like when you go out to a social event, you want a glass of wine.
When you go to a Mexican restaurant, a skinny margarita sounds good with chips and salsa.
When it's Halloween, you want some champagne.
You know what I mean?
So I miss alcohol.
Again, not every night.
I was drinking like three to four times a week.
sometimes less, sometimes once a week.
But the point is, is to have that choice to be able to have a ice cold martini when I'm
out with a friend and now just be like, no, it has been difficult.
And some people have said, well, you can have a glass of wine when you're pregnant.
There's something about it that my body just doesn't want to do that when I'm pregnant.
I can't explain it.
My intuition's just like, no thanks.
So I think that I would compare it to blowing, like taking a drag of a cigarette and blowing it
into my dog's face. I just don't want to do that. Even if I want it, like one side of my brain wants
it because I'm at a social event, I just don't feel the need. Everyone's different here. I know a lot of
women that have glasses of wine all the times when they're pregnant and I have no judgment. Again,
you do you. But for me, alcohol has been off the table and I cannot wait to have my first sip of
champagne. Sex. Taylor, don't get all excited. Sex when you're pregnant's interesting.
You don't really want to go on top
Because Taylor, can you imagine that?
Like, can you imagine that?
Yeah, that'd be a little bit difficult.
Yeah, well, also, like, I think for the man
to see the stomach bouncing in front of them,
it makes them think of the baby, you know?
Like when Michael asked me if his penis
was going to touch the baby's head,
that's a real question that he asked me.
So I had to explain things to him.
Doggy's a good position.
Off the bed's a good position.
Missionary's not good.
great because you don't want, you don't want pressure on you. You know what I mean? Can you even do that?
I mean, you would miss those deep thrusts. No, I don't. I don't. What? Because the belly would
prevent, you know, it wouldn't be, I guess it would be. Maybe you should go have sex with a pregnant
person. It would be a little acrobatic. Let us know how that goes. Yeah, I mean,
missionary is kind of boring anyways, so I'm not, I'm not missing missionary. But sex when you're
pregnant is interesting. It's, it's not like the sexiest thing, you know. You don't feel my, I feel
sexy, if that makes sense, like with my pregnant stomach and I feel soul tri and feminine. But at the same
time, I'm not, I don't feel like my body's looking the hottest it's ever looked. You know what I mean?
So yeah, I'll have sex because I want to, I mean, I love sex and I want to satisfy my husband. But it's,
it's not my favorite moment in time of our sexual experience, if that makes sense. Taylor,
is that covering it for you? I mean, I guarantee you there's a huge demographic of people that
fucking love prego sex.
Yeah.
You know?
Like, oh, that's it.
They're like, oh, no, I only, if the girl's not pregnant, it just doesn't do it for me.
So if you're one of those people, you're sick.
I feel like that's you.
Yeah, no, definitely not.
What I'm eating.
We've talked about that.
We talked about supplements.
We talked about exercise.
Nursery prep.
Nursery prep.
I am working with this woman named Jada.
On Instagram, she is at Jada Neon E Kids.
That's J-A-D-A-N-E-K-E-E-K-A.
N-E-O-N-I kids, and she's a nursery designer, and she's really helping me again have my vision
come to life. I want a flamboyant nursery that's also super calming. So I definitely will take you guys
along on the ride. I'll have a highlight. I'll make sure that I link everything I'm picking.
We're really trying to make a space that's not chaotic that's really calm and peaceful for the
baby, but I also want her to have her own style. For my back, really quick, we got to say this,
because my back's been bothering me.
I go to Dr. Berlin.
He is a chirofactor in L.A.
And I've also been working with a guide that does active release and a mastial fascial release.
And that's really helped me, you know, with the fascia.
I know that sounds weird, but Google it.
It's totally a thing.
And it just gives you endorphins throughout your whole body.
And then lastly, I got a lot of questions on this.
Do we have a name?
Yes, we do.
You have a name.
And I don't want to tell anyone the name because there's no context of someone.
Once we meet her and we can see her and like feel her and touch her, I think then the name is,
it's like better to have the context of it, if that makes sense.
So Michael and I are not telling anyone.
No one knows.
I may tell my sister.
But other than that, we're keeping it quiet.
We have a name and a middle name.
And I think it's pretty cute.
It's a name we've had for like five years.
We've been saving it.
So that is my pregnancy update.

This episode's different for me.
I knew fucking nothing about pregnancy before I got pregnant.
So this is something that I'm just experiencing as it comes to me.
I really haven't done a ton of research on it.
Again, I'm just trying to like go on my own journey and feel it out.
and see what works for me and what doesn't.
And again, as always, take what you love from this episode
and leave what you don't.
This is just my experience.
Taylor, thanks for hearing every single facet.
I'm so informed.
And just in case there's a chance that I get pregnant someday,
I'll know exactly where to go for information.
I mean, I don't even know what to say to that.
You could be a dad soon.
You could be a dad right now.
You just never know.
There could be somewhere out there that there's like a mini Taylor running around.
No, I mean, I've fact checked.
I've looked around.
know, Taylor, you've had a lot of interesting sexual experiences. I would not be surprised.
Like, there's a many tales you die running around right now. Papa? Is that you?
I'm going to make our daughter call Michael Papa. So she's going to be like, Papa. I want her to do it in like a long-formed sentence. You know what I mean? Just to annoy him. I have so much shit up my sleeve. I can't wait to make Michael just freak out.
Anyways, you guys, that is my pregnancy episode.
Like I said, we'll link a bunch of this.
Taylor, don't forget, in the show notes of where to find the supplements, baby shower,
all the different kinds of posts that we talked about.
And I will be back with another solo episode in the next upcoming weeks.
I have a few different fun ones for you.
