Are you ready to be blown away by the Long Island medium?
Teresa Capoto is on the show, and she talks about the afterlife, soul connections,
signs from the spirit, and staying connected to loved ones.
I also personally really resonated with this episode because she gave me a lot of peace
around grief and losing someone close to you.
Whether you've lost someone or you're just curious about what a medium
does, this episode covers it all. With that, let's welcome Teresa to the Bostics. I was just asking you off
air if you feel overstimulated at times. When you do feel overstimulated from all the energy,
what do you do? Do you have to, like, go away? Do you have to hide? I wait and see what
spirit's going to, because I feel very, when I feel very heavy in my forehead area, that means that
there's a lot of souls that are present. Doesn't necessarily mean that any or all are going to
speak, it's just what I feel. And what does it feel like? Does it feel like a pressure? Does it just,
does it feel loud? Does it feel? It feels like a heaviness. But then three souls step forward.
And then I just started to taste blood. So that's my symbol for that they departed in a very
tragic and untimely way. So that's the main way that I communicate through spirit. I don't see the
souls, the way we see each other here in the physical world. And I don't communicate with them the way
we do. So they make me feel like a bond in relationship that we shared with them. They make me
feel what they felt as their soul left the physical body. And then they show me like a sign or a symbol
of whatever it is that is holding someone back from healing because that's why I do what I do.
You taste blood in your mouth. Yeah, I can't explain. It's not like if you cut yourself and,
you know, then tasted your blood. It's not, I can't, I can't explain it. Is that the first epiphany that
you had, that you knew you had something? No. No.
No. So I suffered for many years with anxiety. And a lot of it came with, and I just got it again,
like I felt like I couldn't take a deep breath. That's my symbol for someone passed from the
heart, lungs, or chest. So that would happen to me. I could be in a store, and all of a sudden,
I would feel like I couldn't breathe or take a deep breath. And I would immediately leave the
store. And I would feel better because I left that energy behind. The energy didn't come with me,
because that's not mine to take. Does that make sense?
It makes total sense.
Yeah.
So we were talking before we started.
We're obviously not in our main studios.
We're in our pop-up here out in the Hamptons.
And across, there's a grave site.
And I was asking you if you go by a gravesite like that where there's obviously people that have been buried, does that change anything?
Do you feel anything or do it doesn't really make a difference?
It really doesn't make a difference for me because I would just feel like maybe a pulling to go near someone's headstone.
But it wouldn't matter to me.
What would give people peace that are listening about their loved ones that have passed?
Knowing that there truly is more to life than just here in the physical world and that their loved ones are still with them just in a different way.
They're not missing out.
They're actually living life through our eyes.
Are they watching us at all times?
Not at all times.
Usually the men ask that question.
That was going to be my question because I wanted to know, like, you know, is...
Were they watching us last night?
what you're doing in the bedroom.
Is great grandma watching me in the room or do they like kind of politely leave the room?
I don't know.
I mean, our soul has never showed me anything like that, so I don't know.
I really hope they don't watch me because there's some, there's some things that are,
that nobody should see.
I will say, I know this sounds weird, but I do get my best information in the shower.
So usually if I'm getting ready for work, but you have to realize you're kind of like
at rest in water, I connect with water.
So I get, would get like little tibits or like at, get,
little flashes of things, and then I'll re-see it in a reading. So I know that that's the soul was
preparing me for the session. Do you get fatigued with having all this energy? You mentioned anxiety,
but is it something that you were like, I wish I didn't have this gift sometimes? I never,
never wish that I did not have this ability. So cool. I consider it an honor and a privilege
to do this work. And the fact that people trust me with the souls of their departed loved ones
means the absolute world to me. Why do you think that you were given this gift? No idea.
Probably because I don't ask questions.
I don't question.
I go with the flow.
It took me a long time to get where I am.
It didn't happen overnight.
But I just lost my thought.
That happens sometimes.
Okay.
That happens sometimes because when souls want to communicate,
I have no personal thought, feeling, or emotion.
It is simply of the soul's emotions or the person that I'm reading.
So like I've always said, like I feel like my brain flatlines.
And it actually showed up on a scan that I did on a brain scan.
I heard you did one with Dr. Amon.
Yes.
We've had our scan by Dr. Amen as well.
Oh, yeah.
So what was your brain?
What did that scan show?
It showed that I am able to access a part of my brain that we typically don't.
And that there shows like no activity while I'm channeling.
So your brain is sort of like, to your point, flat lines.
And it's just your brain feels nothing.
And it's almost like the soul's coming through you.
Right.
Because I have no idea what I'm talking about.
What if you're at dinner and someone tries to challenge what you do?
What do you say?
Oh, that's what do you mean, challenge me?
Meaning like they're like, prove it.
They're naysayers.
They don't believe.
Listen, I'm the first one to say that what I do is crazy.
How can someone communicate with someone that has died?
First one to say it.
But I feel that sometimes it's about the fear of the unknown because it does sound kind of crazy.
But that's why I always have Souls Channel a certain way.
So because there are common ways that people might pass or common negative emotions that we might carry connected to someone's passing, I have spirit validate every single message with something completely unique to the person that I'm speaking to.
So they might validate it with something that happened years ago to remind us of happier times.
They'll talk about things that have happened since they've died so that we know with every breath that we take they're not missing out.
And then they'll talk about things we even shared with anyone else here to validate that the things that we say to them, they hear us.
I always tell people, you don't need to go to a medium to connect with your loved ones.
I know that's what I do for a living, but I'm just able to validate it for you that you're not crazy.
And then the last thing that I want Spirit to do is to channel with that personality because it really acknowledges, because they say that from the moment our soul leaves the physical body, we leave behind every disability, ailment, suffering.
We don't take it with us.
So I feel what better way to acknowledge that.
but for the souls to channel the way that they were before they died.
If you lost someone in your own life tomorrow,
yeah.
Are you grieving differently than normal people because you know all this?
I think I do.
I think we all grieve differently.
I'm not afraid to die.
I don't want to die.
And it is sad when I lose a loved one.
But I know that their soul is at peace and that they are with us in a different way.
And it's hard for me to connect with my own loved ones because I always say my family
get screwed out of readings all the time. Because if I sense something or feel something, I'm like,
oh, did I know that? Was it something that I'm remembering from years ago? So it is difficult.
Is there anything that you ever don't want to come in? I don't want to be scared.
I'll give you an example. Maybe you'll feel like this is crazy. There is this guy in Austin that does
demon clearings. Oh, okay. Yeah. It's a doctor. I don't want to know anything about that. And he clears
There's demons off people.
So is there anything like that that comes into you or is it all positive?
I protect everything.
So the best way that I can describe it is to explain how and where I am today.
I was struggling with my gift because I couldn't understand because I am a practicing Catholic.
And I always say they don't agree with what I do, but they take my money every week.
And I was really struggling with my gift because I couldn't understand why would I, because I was born this way.
I don't know any different because the moment I embraced my gift is when my soul felt complete.
I felt who I was truly meant to be here in the physical world.
And 9-11 happened.
And I had a spiritual experience where my spirit guide showed me that I was born to do this,
that people needed to know that even though they weren't able to recover their loved one's physical body
or knew what happened to them, they needed peace of knowing that their souls were okay.
So I put my gift in God's hands and I said, if this is my soul's journey, you open the doors and I will walk through them with my gift.
But I only want to use my gift to help people.
I don't want to be scared.
I only want positive things.
I only want things for the highest good of all concerned.
Everything that I do, I protect in God's white light.
And I only want to channel souls that walk in God's white light.
And I know that for a fact.
Some people might disagree.
I mean, listen, are there negative energies that try to come through?
100%.
It's like coming into contact with.
negative people in your everyday life. We can't avoid certain things. But I know this because I can see
souls, but I can't lower my vibration low enough to feel anything or hear anything directly from them.
If a soul is at a higher level, they can lower the vibration down to that soul and I can channel
through the soul that is at a higher level. When you meet people in the physical, can you tell
rather quickly if they have good souls or bad? Like, can you tell the good energy, bad energy?
She has a good soul.
I'm just wondering, I'm just wondering if you have, like, a radar that kind of like...
Well, I also don't walk around doing that either.
I feel like it's a very...
You know, I always say, I don't know anything.
It's just how I feel.
I love people.
And I don't feel that negative people are placed in my path.
You know what's really interesting talking to you is it seems like you're very purposeful
with the energies that you let in and you're very thoughtful.
You mentioned God's white light.
It seems like you really block out any negativity, whether it's people or souls.
Yes.
That seems like a lot of thought behind that.
Well, because I also understand what I do is very sensitive.
And I never want any.
I am not here trying to push a religion or any.
It's a very personal thing.
And what I've also learned in the work that I do, when someone dies, that is the first thing a lot of us turned from is our faith.
And whatever that is.
and afterlife. I tell people, no matter what it is, you have to believe in something. Believe in something.
And hold on to that. Don't lose your faith because as grief changes us, our faith is what carries us.
And our loved ones love will never leave us. Is there anything that's changed about how you view the
afterlife from when you first started to now? Is there anything you've discovered that's changed
your perspective on that?
I bet there is a lot of negative things that happen here in the physical world. And we are relieved of that
when we get to the other side.
What do you mean by that?
So I think what I, and I guess it's just because of what I've seen over the years of
people's choices, decisions on how they live their life in a negative way and how different
the soul is on the other side.
It doesn't matter how someone's passed.
Like if it's like a murder or a suicide, is it matter or does that not have anything to do
with anything?
Well, if it was the person that actually committed the murder, those are the souls that I'll kind of, there was one soul, one soul that I channeled.
And he took his best friend's life. It was an accident. But his soul was over there for, I think, over two decades.
But the soul had learned the lessons and grew. So they say that when we enter the other side, our soul goes through a life review.
And we relive our life through our loved one's eyes.
And that's how the soul grows and heals and graduates, if you might say, on the other side.
That's wild.
So the person has like a review and they see themselves through their children's eyes, through their partner's eyes, through everyone's eyes.
And they can learn why people felt the way they felt.
Right.
And how I know this, I was doing a live show.
This was probably maybe about eight years ago.
I was reading a woman and her, unfortunately, her daughter was.
murdered by the boyfriend.
And I saw the daughter and I could see there was a soul below her.
And I said to her, your daughter wants me to tell you that he is sorry and remorseful for what he did.
And he knows what he did and what he took from you.
And for that, he is sorry.
And I just got to chill.
I got chills too.
Oh, my God.
And I remember looking and saying to myself, Terriah, what did you just say?
And the woman looked at me and she said, that's why I'm here.
She said, I walked through those theater doors tonight, and I wanted to know if he was remorseful and if he was sorry for what he did to my daughter and knowing what he did to me and my life.
But I couldn't get that message from him, but his soul was going through this life review because it came through the daughter.
When you give people that release, is that cathartic for them throughout their whole life?
Like when she hears that, do you believe that it almost frees her?
Yeah, absolutely.
The messages that I deliver are of faith, hope, and peace.
I also realize that the work that I do is not going to take away the pain or the sorrow or the grief,
but hopefully it will make someone's life a little bit easier to make that grief a little bit lighter.
Do you also predict the future?
Okay, explain the differences between everyone because I get confused.
There's mediums.
Tell me what a medium is compared to a psychic.
Well, they say to be a medium, you have to be.
psychic. And I really don't know much about anything. Okay. I know the work that I do is that I am able
to feel and sense things from the souls of the departed and deliver healing messages. I don't
predict anything. I want souls to bring up things that we're thinking about doing things that
maybe choices that we're considering. But I am always quick to stop and to remind that person that
these are free will choices. Just because your loved ones are bringing this up doesn't mean that you
have to or that you should be doing this. It's just a validation.
that their soul knows what you're doing,
what you're going through,
and that they haven't missed out.
Are there common messages that try to come through
that a lot of, like, either regrets or things
that you just see over and over?
I think that I heard them say goodbye.
I think that's a big one
that people regret not being there.
But I know that we're not supposed to be there sometimes.
Or, you know, with the should or could have would have
is the only ifs?
When you're sitting in this room right now,
do you feel anything,
Not like that. No, I feel a lot of different things. So, I don't know, there's someone that you have a lot of men that departed for you or young.
Yeah, I lost my father when I was seven and my younger brother. So when so, but I feel like this is for you, for you as well. Is your mom departed? So your mom shows me this too. So when a soul goes like this to me, this is indicating a separation.
sometimes communication, geographical, or circumstances,
and also feeling that they missed out on our milestones.
Because your dad shows me that after everything that you've been through,
you live your life with such dignity and grace.
And it hasn't been easy for you.
Your father just said to me, I'm sorry that I left.
So did he leave the physical world in untimely manner?
Is it correct?
Okay. So know that he says, I am sorry for my untimely departure.
He, uh, I had the blow to the chest, but then the hitting to the back of the head,
which means the soul immediately left the physical body, means that he did not suffer to his death.
Um, did you not know about the accident right away?
I was in the car accident.
Oh, what did you not know what was happening?
Yeah, I was knocked into a coma.
Okay.
Oh my God.
Because he said to me, he made me feel like there was nothing that my son could have
done or would have known what was happening. So he first showed me him in a ditch. So that's my
symbol for where we don't know what had happened or if we feel if people found us sooner,
that this could have changed the outcome. Um, do you remember that day? Because he says,
there's no way that even if we made a different plan, because he switched my seat. So when Seoul
switched my seat, that's my symbol for that there was actual switching of the seats or there was a
change of plans.
Yeah.
It was both actually.
You're saying it was both actually?
I sat in the front seat, my mother and sister, if we both survived, he was in the back of my
brother, but we were a half mile from our house.
It was a windy day, and the cops had blocked the road.
Was it a tree or something?
And they sent us on another road, and a tree fell on that road.
That's what he said.
There was a tree that fell on the road, and they switched seats in him and his mother.
I'm just repeating so that the audience can hear what you're saying, wow.
Yeah.
And there's no way I would know that.
Right? You have things in memory of your dad and your father, I mean, your dad and your brother with you?
I have like physically with me. Yeah, I don't know if it's in the car.
Well, I have my necklace. I have a watch that he was wearing. The watch.
So he's got a necklace with a watch of a piece of his dad's watch.
Perfect. So know that the souls know what you wear and how you love and honor them every day of your life.
Your brother just said to me, please tell my brother to release the guilt that he is.
for all these decades of feeling that that should have been him and not me.
Your brother just showed me that he showed himself to you in a dream.
Did you have a dream or like some type of experience where you saw your father and your brother
together?
Yeah, one time that I remember so vividly like it happened five years ago.
So know that that was a visitation from their souls showing you that they were together
and that their souls are safe and a peace with God.
You have children?
I just had my first son.
So know that they're like, oh, he didn't have to name them after me.
So know that they held the soul of your child before coming here into the physical world.
And I'm going to say this.
Your dad told me that you won't admit it, but you feel them.
You have these little hello.
You get these little hellos from heaven.
But you're almost like, nah, I don't know.
Is that correct?
So know that every time that happens, know that it's not a coincidence.
know that you're not crazy, know that it is the souls letting you know that they haven't left you
and that they will continue to walk with you here in the physical world.
That is crazy that you just met him 30 minutes ago and you were able to know all that.
That blows my mind.
Well, I don't know anything.
It's his loved ones.
I always say I take no credit for what I do.
The only credit I take is that I allow the souls of the departed to use.
my physical body as that vessel.
Do you try to remember your mom's voice?
Did your mom pass when you were young?
Yes.
Because she said, tell my daughter, I'm sorry that her memories sometimes have to be of
others.
So usually when a soul shows that to me, it's my symbol for that we lose our loved one
at a very young age.
Or we struggle to remember the voice or the hug.
Yeah, I do struggle to remember.
So know that when you do that, know that her soul.
is with you at that exact moment that she hasn't left you.
Do your children or your child, do they look, because this is something for you to remember
with your son, when they look like in corners or would say things or make reference to be like,
oh, someone was just sitting there or grandma was just here.
Know that they're not crazy.
Know that it is the child sensing the soul because there's animals and children very sensitive
to the souls of the departed.
They say things about the birds, the orange birds.
Perfect.
They've picked up on orange birds everywhere and they say that's my mom.
Perfect.
Know that that's her.
It's not that she's the bird.
What it is is when we notice these signs and symbols,
it's the soul getting our attention to notice something.
Okay.
To remind us that they're with us.
Your mom just started singing me the song, You Are My Sunshine.
Yeah.
So do you connect with that song?
Yeah.
Okay.
She also told me, do you have her jewelry that you changed?
or that you were thinking of changing?
I have some of her jewelry.
So change could be changing of hands
or if you had plans to do something with it.
But when they show me an engagement ring into a necklace,
it is my symbol for changing of jewelry.
So whether we wear it differently,
we actually want to change it.
Who was cremated?
My mom was cremated.
Oh, okay.
So I know I get these random things like,
because when I feel like I'm not interpreting something correctly
or there's more to it,
I want them to validate it with something else.
And so to me, that's not common because my loved ones weren't cremated.
So no supporting a decision and choice.
Do you feel that, did you move from where your loved, I don't know if this is still for you?
Because when they show me, I wish I had a final resting place to go to.
So do you have that opportunity to do that with your brother and your dad?
Or is that how you feel with your mom?
I'm like, I don't have a place to go to visit or to honor her.
We moved from San Diego to Austin, Texas, and she's buried and cremated in San Diego.
Oh.
But I don't know if that's for you.
Okay.
No, for me, me too.
My father and brother are buried in Connecticut.
Okay.
See, you have to understand.
I still live next door to my parents.
Like, they're your parents that have died?
No, my parents are still here.
Okay, okay.
So my parents, I'm like, is your parents next door, like buried next to you?
No, they're alive.
I still physically live next door to the house that I grew up in that my parents still live
into this day.
That's so cool.
My kids better do that with me.
So knowing that even though we don't have, we feel like we don't have that cremate and she's in San Diego,
knowing that her soul is with you.
You don't have to be physically there.
So like when we go to someone's final resting place, we're actually bringing the souls with us to the final way.
They're not hanging out in the cemetery waiting for us.
Oh, so that's why when I was asking about the cemetery, you're like it doesn't.
Yeah.
We bring the souls with us.
And you mentioned earlier about murder, but what about suicide?
Suicides, a lot of souls step forward to really give the message that their soul is at peace.
I feel that.
I intuitively feel that, and that's why I think that I've been able to forge.
Do you know someone that die from?
a mental that actually took their own life?
Because I just heard and the soul was actually crying.
But know that the tears are of happiness and joy of like I didn't want to take my own life.
Do you understand that?
And I don't feel it was very well planned.
Because when a soul shows me a hanging and then the rope is like on a diagonal,
It's just my symbol for that it wasn't planned or very well planned.
Does that make sense?
Because look, Solzl, tell me, I knew my parents were going to be on vacation or this was going to happen
and they actually plan what they're going to do.
But when they show me that and they snap their fingers, it was just like a quick decision.
And they told me that it was because of mental illness.
unfortunately, what I've seen is a lot of children taking their own life at the age of 12,
8 years old, because of bullying.
So when we think of things of someone taking their own life, it's not just as black and white
as that.
There's a lot more to it.
It's complex.
Yeah.
Is there anything that you would tell someone who's listening if they want to do a reading
with a medium?
Is there anything that they should look forward?
and who they're choosing as the medium?
I don't know.
You don't know.
It's because it's a personal thing.
Got it.
You know.
That's interesting.
So it's not like you have like a recommendation of who you go to.
I just think as long as you feel the comfort and it brings you peace, then you see them.
Does that, because I'm sure there's plenty of people out there that don't care for me.
You know what I need?
And mediumship really isn't for everyone.
It sounds like you're very focused on your own paper.
and your own lane and you're not really focused on what other people are doing or it sounds like
you're very insular almost like you're zipped up yeah i because look i support anyone that does the work
that i do as long as they're helping people and they do it for the highest good of all concerned i never
thought for one second that i would be where i am today not not one second and um i a lot of people
don't know this but like people on my show on my podcast i don't charge people for their readings
So if there, if people, like, there's a lot of fraud out there, I mean, I actually had to hire a company to start taking down all of these sites and, you know, they're claiming, I don't charge people for reading.
So if anyone reaches out to you that saying that it's me, it's not me.
And it really, it really, really is sad and it's extremely frustrating.
It's, you've, you've built a brand in a very impressive way, and that's so cool to hear you don't even charge the people for reading.
So, no.
Where you focus your business is on your book, on your jewelry, and on your live.
My live shows, my television show.
And do people, when they're at your live show, do they have revelations throughout that live show?
You know, there's something beautiful about my live show.
You know, people might go, oh, I don't want to go.
There's going to be thousands of people there.
But it is the most amazing show you will ever attend in your life.
To be in a space.
And you witness, right, what just happened.
Do you even know this gentleman?
No, we literally just met five minutes ago.
That was crazy.
So that's what a live show is like.
It's crazy.
You watch, he looks different.
Like, you can feel and to watch someone heal right front of you or receive a peaceful message right in front of you is something truly amazing.
And people say it all the time.
They're like, hey, no idea what to expect when I went to that show.
I didn't even know who she was.
And I didn't personally get rid, but what I witnessed was life changing.
And then they say and then I realized that the people that did get the messages, they were the ones that truly needed to hear from their loved ones more than I did.
What did the souls sound like?
Like, nothing.
I can't explain it.
So, like, I just heard, like, a father figure, like, his voice was, like, strong.
And I don't know why this is one of my symbols, but Froggy, I think his name is Froggy from the Little Rascals.
He had, like, that raspy voice.
It's such a bizarre reference because, I know, it's not even like I, I mean, I grew up in that time of the little rascals.
We just watch it again with our kids, which is how I knew what you're talking about.
Okay.
That's even crazy.
See, these are the little hellos from heaven that are hidden that we don't realize.
The little, there are, how many TV shows out there for me to make a reference or for me to hear
that?
So there has to be a father figure connected to you that is departed.
When I say father figure, it could be grandfather, father-in-law, or even someone that was like a dad
to you, like an uncle.
And it had to be something with his voice because when I hear that, that means that the
voice is strong and that the voice isn't weak anymore.
Are you talking to Michael specifically?
Well, I felt drawn to look at him.
That's so funny because your dad's dad, your grandpa, came through a reading that I got
from someone else.
Well, I never got to meet him.
That's even more important, to validate a soul bond.
Because this is how I also feel, you're very fortunate.
You have a lot of loved ones still here in the physical world, correct?
Yeah.
So you're very fortunate.
I'm always like, you don't understand shit.
But this is what I also say to, well, you know what your mom just told me?
What?
He might not understand, but he, he understands you and he gets it.
He does.
And he allows you.
Except for last night to go.
When he annoyed the shit out of me.
Well, I knew her mother.
That's why.
Oh.
So, but you understand and you respect her.
And we were a lot of people because they don't understand grief or they didn't experience it.
they don't know how to support someone.
Yeah, I think that that's something that I would love to hear more on.
Can you talk more about that?
Because I noticed that.
Yeah, so it is something that I do know is because sometimes children, when they come through and they speak to their parents, they'll say,
please tell my mom, nobody is ever going to forget me.
And they will talk about all the things.
And sometimes people will say, my loved one is afraid to celebrate me because of the way that I died.
And this is what I tell people.
your loved one died.
No matter how they left the physical world, they died.
And you have a right to celebrate and honor them every day of your life,
no matter how they left the physical world or what they did.
And to remember the happy time, say their name, talk about them.
If you know someone that lost someone, don't be afraid to bring it.
They're going to be sad.
So someone that loses, say a child, for example, they're sad every day.
every single day they are sad and they are grieving.
But it brings them some type of comfort or peace in knowing that someone is remembering their child.
I think for me, and I don't know if you feel like this, is you don't want to be so heavy on people because it can feel heavy.
And so you bottle it up.
Right.
But that's not good to your point.
It's not good.
I think a lot of people don't know how to be with people that have lost someone because they also don't want to bring something up that hurts them, you know, or.
A million. Sometimes I don't even know what to say to somebody.
Yeah. Right? And a lot of times I just say, I'm here for you. I'm here for you. I can't imagine what you're going through, but I'm here for you for whatever it is that you need.
You've mentioned children. In our research, we saw that there was a connection between children and death or like an energy. Like the children can spot things that adults can't spot.
Sure. Yeah, because their minds aren't busy. Like we question things when we see them.
Right. Like if we see a shadow go by, right? We're thinking, oh, I'm tired. I might have
too much wine. Right? We kind of make up excuses for the things that we sense and feel because
signs and symbols a lot of times are very, very subtle. So children can see things that adults cannot
see. Yes. And this is because they're more open and they're not, they're not, they don't have
the doubt. Yeah. There's no doubt. Their minds are clear. They have nothing to, there's nothing to judge.
They're just, you know that show? Kids say the darndest things.
It's so true. And same thing with animals. A lot of times they'll show me like a dog,
when they show me a dog barking at the end of a stairway, that's my symbol for that the dog is sensing souls in the home.
If they bring me to a couch and then the dog jumps on the couch, that means that the soul of the loved one is sitting on the couch and that the animal is drawn to.
So the animals can also feel much, it's different.
Yeah. So what can adults do to expand their mind and open up and become more?
I just say just be open and knowing that anything that goes on around you that remind you of your
loved one know that it's them try to find some sometimes people find quiet time they find it easier
like in a meditation or through prayer whatever it may be but know whatever it is that you sense

Do not sleep on the candy that your kids are eating.
We do family movie night once a week.
Last week, we all got on our huge couch.
We have this huge couch.
We got the blankets going.
We got the popcorn, little butter, a little coconut oil in there.
And of course, we had our favorite candy.
We were watching Problem Child.
So we had to do all different kinds of candy for a taste test.
And we got Unreal Dark Chocolate.

Terms and conditions apply.
Is there anything that you can tell our audience about grief that would surprise them?
It's never going to go away.
Ever, no matter how many readings.
No matter.
Right.
I just feel that all these tools and all these things can make the grief lighter, you know,
to make our tomorrow a little bit easier.
And we should honor the grief.
Grief doesn't always have to be a sad thing.
Like I always encourage people to find beauty in the grief.
So for example, like if somebody, say, lost someone to suicide and the parent doesn't want to talk about the child, I'll say to them, what I want you to do, if somebody asks you about your child, they'll say, oh, I heard you lost your son and they're afraid to talk about it.
Tell them, yes, they pass suddenly and unexpected, because that's the truth.
That is exactly what happened.
But I know their soul is at peace because I get signs from them.
And then I want you to share something beautiful about that person, a beautiful memory,
maybe things that they like to do, the last vacation, their favorite song.
And you see their face light up.
And they're sharing with the audience thousands of people, a beautiful memory of that person, of their child.
And I said, do you see what you did?
Now you left everyone with a beautiful memory of your child.
So now when someone asks and say, oh, what happened to Mary's son?
They'll say, oh, he died unexpectedly, but he loved to fish and he loved music.
And you're leaving this beautiful memory of them.
Why do you think that Americans especially have made death this sad, morbid thing?
Well, because it is sad.
We have to live the rest of our lives without our loved ones.
Yeah.
Without their guidance, their love, a hug, advice, whatever it may be.
And it is, it's sad.
But we have to remember them.
Remember what they stood for, how, you know, to honor them.
If someone does go to your live show, what, what do they, what can they expect?
I'm going to show up with my hair and my nails, great dress and fabulous shoes.
Yeah, show the nails to the YouTube.
Oh, this is on YouTube?
It's on video and audio.
Oh, okay.
Those nails are like, I mean.
Don't look too close.
They're like four weeks old.
They look great.
They're like, my daughter was.
die for those nails. I might have to take a picture and show them. She loves gems. Oh, she does.
Yeah, those nails. Oh, these are right of her. How do you open your car door with those things?
Just like you do. I put my hand in and I put it back. You learn how to use them.
Well, some of the ones have, I guess you have to have the handle opener. Yeah, I have a handle.
You can't do it. Yeah. No, I don't. I, I still have a handle. I feel like I'm scared to
change my son's diaper. Oh, yeah. Well, my grandchildren, okay? Very, very scared to change the diaper as a
newborn. But I actually, I had my nail girl put on, I call them grandma nails.
Okay. I had put on the square nails. And they were shorter. And they weren't as point date.
Well, I mean, mine are so short, it makes me want to go longer. What can everyone expect from your book?
Tell us about your book. Oh, so just to get back to my live show, they can. Yes, tell us.
They can be guaranteed that they're going to have an experience filled with faith, hope, and peace.
And you will leave that show feeling different. Okay. This is one of the last books that I, that
I wrote several years since it came out, but that's the last book. It was Good Morning. And it's all
about how we should mourn. We have the right to mourn. But we don't really, it's not just through death.
So this book talks about we might be grieving or mourning a friendship. Uh-huh. Like that's still alive.
Yeah. Or a friendship that we don't have anymore, that we don't speak to someone. Maybe a job opportunity
that we didn't take.
Maybe we retired and retirement doesn't look the same, right?
So we grieve things that we lose.
And we have to honor that and more than that
because this is why sometimes when we lose a loved one,
like you were saying before, where we bottle it up, right?
So we have all these things that we might be upset with,
angry with, disappointed,
and there are all these negative emotions
that we bottle up and keep down.
So when something like this happens where we lose a loved one,
it's like a volcano.
know. How can, maybe you can leave us with this, how can people who have a significant other or a friend that's died support the person? How do they show up? I think just being there and not expecting them to grieve the same way or to feel the same way you do. I find that time and time again where people might be upset with someone because they're not honoring or grieving the way that they want to. And I say this to people. The only thing we have in common is that we lose the same person, the way that we
grieve, the way that we feel, the way that we connect with them is going to be different.
It's not because they loved someone more.
It's just that our relationship or connection is different.
Like, I don't dream on my loved ones that have died.
So when I said that to you, sir, about your dad and your brother, it was almost like, I was
like, oh, I wish I had that.
I don't connect with spirit in that way.
So if anyone out there is, they have, I don't care if it's like a quick second.
You see your loved one.
They're perfectly healthy.
And it's so vivid.
It was so real.
That's a visitation.
from the soul saying, remember me this way.
Speaking of dreams, if people dream about people they've lost,
have you thought about that at all?
Or is there any meaning in it outside of you're obviously thinking about the person?
Just the person showing us that they're okay.
Because a lot of times someone might say,
keep having this reoccurring nightmare of my loved one,
but then the loved one will say, but that's your fear.
That's what you think it is like for me of what I felt.
And they'll say, you're absolutely right.
So that's why a lot of times, I will say this, one of the best advice that Spirit has given through the readings over the years that I've done is that if you are holding on to any burden or guilt that is holding you back from healing, just imagine your loved one standing in front of you, perfectly healthy with a suitcase open at the bottom of their feet.
Put in this suitcase any negative emotion, close it up and hand it back to them with love.
It's not your burden to carry.
Souls want to take responsibility in their part.
I've struggled with that a lot, guilt.
You feel guilt.
But we do that, right?
I don't know if that's a woman thing.
I think it's something that we do as human beings, right?
We find something to beat ourselves up or to feel guilty about
because it's easier to do that than to deal with maybe the loss.
So you think it's almost a deflection of using that?
Yeah.
Yeah.
I don't mean to, but did your brother want to switch his seat in the car?
I don't have him hungry.
Oh, because he said I was the one that insisted on switching.
My brother didn't even want to switch with me.
I just heard after the fact.
Yeah.
Whose birthday is it now?
What's my birthday?
Well, he just handed your primary color balloons.
So it means that it's someone's birthday now?
No.
Well, you just had a baby?
Yeah.
We had his 18-month birthday.
Yeah.
Did you release something in memory of your mom?
Like into the air?
Yeah.
The bird.
The bird keeps coming up.
This bird.
My kids say the bird.
The bird is flying around me all over Austin.
I've never seen this bird in my life.
And it's in a...
Because she keeps showing me like a hummingbird.
We really don't have hummingbirds where I...
It's an orange bird.
Is a hummingbird in orange bird?
It looks like an orange bird.
It looks like a hummingbird, but it's like a tiny orange bird.
And my kids keep saying, and the bird is all over.
But you feel it.
Yeah.
Okay.
That's what I'm talking about.
That's a feeling.
Nobody can tell you that that's not real.
Do you believe in the book, Many Lives, Many Masters, where it says that.
Yes.
So let me ask a question.
Sure.
He has a son.
Could that be his father coming back as his son, or is not that not the way
It works.
Well, I channeled them.
So it could be your father and brother could be living through your son, but not the soul.
I've only seen that once.
I read a mother and a daughter.
And they had lost, the mother had lost a daughter.
So it would be this other woman's sister.
Okay.
I said to her, I go, I feel like I can't see your sister anymore.
Like I don't see her anymore.
And I said, but I feel her.
She said, from the day that my daughter was born, I stopped seeing my sister.
sister. So that was the one and only time that I saw a soul being reincarnated into someone now
into the physical world. But I do know that you can see glimpses of your loved ones. So they'll say a lot
of times a part of my soul lives within the child. And then the person will say, oh, there are times that
you know, my son is playing and I look over. I'm like, oh my God, I think I just saw my father or I saw
my brother through my son. It's that split second, right? That's the soul entering
showing themselves to you.
So the way that I channel,
I allow the soul to enter me for a moment
to validate that it's them.
It's the same thing.
So I've seen my grandma through
my oldest daughter and my middle son.
So that could be just
energetically part of her soul that I'm seeing.
Yes.
She showed me the eyes.
Yeah.
Oh, my God.
Okay.
So the eyes.
A part of her lives within the children.
That's crazy.
It is the eyes.
That's where I see it.
Did she like hats or something?
Yes.
Oh, I go, what's what that hat?
She changed her hat like five times.
Yeah.
Big blue eyes.
I'm not wearing a hat.
I got the blue eyes, but I would never come through wearing a hat.
So you can see like where you can see where she's coming through because that's where I do see it.
It's the eyes.
Mm-hmm.
Well, I guess it to validate whatever you.
So when you speak, when someone speaks to me, I don't mean to be rude, but I'm really not listening to you.
Because I have to listen to the souls because I need to feel something, hear something before you finish.
because if I don't, I say I don't know.
Quick break to talk about Just Thrive.
You can dial in your sleep, your workouts, your supplements, your morning routine.
I mean, you've heard us talk about all of it on this show.
But here's the thing.
None of it sticks if your gut isn't functioning right.
Your gut is running the show behind the scenes, as you all know.
It's constantly talking to your brain, your immune system, your mood, all of it.
So let's focus in on the one thing that makes everything else you do actually pay off.
And that's managing your gut health.
But here's the problem.
The probiotic you're taking is probably dead before it ever reaches your gut.
because most brands on the market can't survive your stomach acid.
And if a probiotic can't arrive in your gut alive, it can't do much good.
It also waste a lot of your money.
The Just Thrive probiotic is different, and it's been a non-negotiable in our routine for years.
We've had the founders of Just Thrive on this show multiple times.
It uses four spore-based strains that actually survive digestion and arrive 100% alive,
including one clinically studied strains that produces antioxidants directly into your gut.
That means better nutrient absorption, less bloating, stronger immunity, one capsule with real results.
Right now we have a special offer for you.
When you start your first 90-day Just Thrive probiotic subscription, you'll get a free 90-day
supply with their new digestive bitters.
That's a $90 value.
Ever since we've learned about their bitters, we haven't looked back because bitter herbs have
been used across cultures for centuries because they work.
When taken before a meal, they signal your body to produce the stomach acid, bile,
and enzymes it needs so food actually gets broken down instead of just sitting undigested.
So check them out.

I like my underwire bras to be comfortable.
They need to be supportive and comfortable because I've got some big boobs.
And a brand that I have been reaching for is called walkhole.
I personally like the comfort first wire free t-shirt bra.
I am a big t-shirt fan.
I like my t-shirts to be soft.
and I don't like my bra to be the main event. And this brand really gets it when it comes to fit,
support, and comfort. Those are the three things that are so important. I do not want my bra to be
cutting off my lymphatic system, if you know what I mean. So this is a brand that's been helping women
find a better fit for more than 40 years. So they know what they're talking about when it comes to
bras, which we love. They have helped fit more than two million women.
which is amazing because they've really studied women's bodies and how they change with like stress,
hormones. I know for me I've had weight fluctuations. I mean, I've gone up and down 60 pounds with
three kids three times. Pregnancy, postpartum. And I just need a bra that can support me through these
changes. So if I had to pick out any bra from their site, like I said, it's the comfort first wire-free one.
I got the nude and black and it's amazing. It's soft, it's buttery. It's everything you could want in a bra.

Listen up.
Okay.
Paleo Valley has this bone broth protein.
I get the chocolate flavor and I tell my kids that
they're having chocolate water. They're so excited. They love this. They think it's like chocolate milk. And the
best part is it's 20 grams of protein. So what I do for them is I put it in their little cup. I froth up
the protein powder. I do a heaping scoop. I mix it with raw milk or water and I put that frother in there.
They love it. They think they're getting like chocolate milk when little do they know it's filled with
protein. They have a scoop all the time when we travel in between meals. It's one of their favorite
treats. It's a real hack. I also have Paleo Valley's beef sticks and their organ complex. A lot of you
guys have expressed that you're scared to eat organs. And I cannot tell you how amazing organs have made
my hair and nails. It's been a real change. And I think this is a good place to start if you're
scared of organs. They have this organ complex. You take it. It has all the benefits of organs,
which I'm telling you is the most underrated beauty hack. Paleo Valley covers it all when it comes to
protein. I'm a huge fan so much so that I order the chocolate bone broth protein to all my hotel
rooms ahead of time. Okay, that's how much I like it. Real ingredients, quality sourcing, and no junk

I have to ask before we go if there's anyone else in the room that wants to ask her a question, if you don't mind.
Sure.
Because I am going to say this.
There are several souls that did pass tragically because I can't get out of the deaths.
So when I can't get myself out of a death, it just means that someone is afraid to speak up or they don't want to.
And I am very respectful of that because what I do is not for everyone.
Right.
And I never want to push a message onto someone.
The only way that I will push it is so you know that I only channel souls that walk in God's white light.
So for a soul to do this to me, they need you to know that their soul dwells with God.
Any questions before she goes?
None.
You've already given me enough.
Oh, okay.
That was, uh, he's like, when is she leaving?
Yeah.
No, I'm only kidding.
Was it.
Were you not even supposed to be here today?
Um, I mean, potentially, yeah.
That's what your dad just told me.
He wasn't even supposed to work on this today.
Wow.
So there's no such thing as a coincidence.
The craziest thing that you said to him was how you saw a bunch of males around that.
I mean, that was mind blowing to me.
I could just see all the shadows on the wall.
Like I see the shadows.
shadows and the silhouettes, but that's what I felt. And what I heard for this young lady over here
is that I know how much you love me. And I never doubted that. Do you feel like you could have
prevented someone's departure? No. My mom asked when I was like three issues. What do you feel that's
oh, that was the murder. That's what I saw. My mom and my grandma. And I was just connecting with a lot
of things because I was there. Okay. This is crazy because how people to witness,
Would it be someone that what?
Because that's why I also felt the heaviness in the in the,
like I was the only one that didn't pass.
Mm-hmm.
Oh.
And when you mentioned the balloons, like every year for her birthday,
we put balloons out in the sky.
But it's something, how you say, like forgetting the memories,
that's like since I was so young,
I like try to remember her memory and everything,
but it is emotional.
What's with a sleeping bag or like a blanket?
Yeah.
Like what the, I just literally got the chill.
So I'm gonna say this.
you were the only one that survived.
So it's a different burden that you carry.
Do you understand that?
So because I said to your mom,
I said, why did you have me say to her?
She couldn't have prevented the death.
So it's not that if you did anything different
because she said the justice is
that our soul dwells with God.
So do you feel that no one was held accountable
or held accountable?
Little person that did it then killed themselves.
So that's also why I used that example earlier.
Do you understand that?
So you let...
But this is what the experience is about.
Because, and also to validate for you that even though no one is held accountable,
and whatever that means for a person,
it doesn't mean that their souls don't dwell with God.
Why did you see a sleeping bag?
I don't know, the blank.
My mom was staying at my grandma's house for like a period of time,
and I would sleep on a sleeping back, like in that.
She said her mom would, she would stay in a sleeping bag with her mom.
Wow.
I mean, that's very random.
You know, but this is what I always say.
Souls might have me say something that's common.
It's not my fault or spirit's fault that certain things are common.
And I feel like to celebrate your mom.
What is so crazy, too, is she was mentioning releasing something in the air and balloons.
And McKenzie said that she releases balloons into the air.
It's wild. And I felt like it was a mom, and that's why I looked at you.
But if it, because I don't think you ever expected this.
Even though you, did you know what I do for a living?
Well, she's on, she's on our team and helps.
So knowing that you still had no expectation or never would have thought that you would be given that opportunity to have that.
And that's why she pushed that.
Do you still have a card from your mom, something with her handwriting?
writing on it?
I have a little box.
I keep all of the things.
She has a box.
She keeps those.
So know that when you look at that, know that the souls are with you at that exact moment.
There's a grandfather with them.
And he says, I had to protect this family.
Do you understand that?
Oh, real snake in the grass, they just told me.
Who was the snake?
Yeah.
The person that did it?
Yeah.
It was like her.
Yep.
Yep.
That's your grandfather's going that.
And he's like, I don't know, he's talking about an accent.
like he's now cursing at me.
But that would be his personality, right?
To show you that the souls are all together.
Do you connect with turtles or frogs?
Frog is my mom's favorite.
So my mom's sister adopted me.
So my aunt and her frogs are her favorite.
Perfect.
So know that she knows of everything that you've been through in your life
and that she's watching and loving and guiding you from the other side.
Don't you think that they were supposed to be in the room today?
100% because we can't have people sit in the room because there's no room in this space so we had to say to your team hey we can't so so you think that they were supposed to be in the room 1,000% because to me the losses that both of you guys have are I mean huge tremendous and also not I mean normal these are both tragedies young people tragedies but even yourself yeah I mean I'm 59 I still live next to it and my parents
When I lost my grandparents, I was well into my 40s.
My grandparents were like my parents, and I am very blessed.
And I don't take that for granted, not one second in my life.
Because when I read someone that lost that parent, that breaks me inside.
I make what I do look very easy.
There are some moments with you where their souls got to a part of my soul that they showed the emotion that I was feeling inside.
It's very emotional.
My heart breaks for everyone that I channeled their lives.
loved ones, and especially when they didn't have them, you're not to have your mom growing up.
It's hard, and life is hard.
But hopefully through these messages, it can make things a little bit easier.
And I always say this, we're born to do special and amazing things.
Just be brave enough to do those.
I have one, but there's probably another question, but one other question.
Sure.
Do generations that have never met somebody come through, like for example, we were talking about grandfathers.
or great-grandfather.
Do, you know, like say that they're very far removed?
Do those still come through to the bloodline, I guess?
Yes, because it's a soul circle.
So it's still all connected.
Do you connect with the pocket watch?
Because he showed me the pocket watch and he's saluted you.
So that means that he served our country or maybe the community.
And do you connect with time with him if you don't connect with a watch?
Like, well, I love watches.
Oh, you do?
Okay.
My dad is obsessed with watch.
Oh, okay.
I'll accept that.
However you can connect with the watch,
yeah,
but then I just saw the watch from Castaway.
So is there something that you can connect with a pocket watch
or an old watch?
Maybe the movie Castaway or Tom Hanks.
We have to ask your dad about that
because it's funny that your grandfather came through the other reading I had too.
And you've never met him.
Well, yeah, and my dad was really close to them.
Yeah.
I wonder if he has a pocket watch.
We should ask him.
Or sometimes it could also be time of like if we look at time and it reminds us of someone
or are always seeing the same numbers.
That's the soul getting our attention.
His two favorite things besides me are history and watches.
That's interesting.
Yeah, but I was just curious because.
Yeah, I think there's a lot of people that have just never met, you know, like if you lose loved ones before, like grandparents or whatever, I just was curious about it.
Like it'll happen.
Souls will come forward.
Like, say someone loses, say, they're a parent or a grandparent.
And then they lost a friend.
They'll come through together.
They'll bring the souls together because it's a bond that we shared with them.
So because they're connected to us, they're also connected on the other side.
You are wild, impressive.
I mean, I cannot believe. I'm glad that the audience got to hear this conversation because it was really
organic and authentic and it's just so interesting to hear you do a live reading like that.
I know, I just have to say thank you for doing that. That was very nice. And I know they feel the same way.
Where can everyone go find everything you're doing? Come to your live event. I'm wearing, just so everyone
knows I'm wearing your jewelry, you gave me this little butterfly for my daughter who loves butterflies.
It's adorable.
It's Cervosti Crystal.
It's so pretty.
We'll link it in the show notes.
But tell us where we can support everything you're doing.
Just go to Teresa Caputo.com.
Woo!
That's it.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Thank you.
I can see why the universe chose you to channel.
I don't know if channel's the right word.
Is that the right word?
It's fine for me.
Okay.
I like to say Chanel, but you say channel.
Thank you.
Thank you.
You're very welcome.
Thank you.
