Big Bank, DJ Scream and Baby Jade with the number one podcast industry, Big Facts.
Live from Revolt Studios, it's time for that Big Facts.
Big Bank, what up, Baby Jade, what up, DJ Scream.
I'm here welcoming today, Texas-owned D Baby.
Don't pull it up on Big Facts.
What's up, D Baby, what up, what up, what up man?
What's up gang?
I'm just chilling man, I'm just glad to be here.
Come on man, we gotta get that energy going.
D Baby on Big Facts today man, all the way from Texas.
What's up?
I'm in a great mood, I swear to God.
You in a good mood?
I'm having fun, like I've been just,
right now I'm just doing what they tell me to do.
Who is they?
Oh God.
Just actually being an artist, you know?
Okay.
Instead of just doing what I want to do all the time and just kind of going against the
ground.
You're trying to follow the rules.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Not like, it's just fun.
I'm having fun.
Like, you would've caught me like maybe last month, two months ago I probably would've
been a bad move.
I wouldn't want to be here.
But this is what I'm dealing with inside right now. I'm happy.
But you good though? You-
I'm happy. I'm happy, happy, happy. Like, from once in my life, I could actually tell you I'm happy as hell.
You caught me at a great time.
What you think it is that got you happy, that got you out there?
I just realized something.
What's that?
What you realized?
Something I should have realized. I really, I realized that I just acknowledged it, you know, it was I
Want to tell you what it is, but it's kind of like personal. Yes a little person. Well, it's more like
You know what you don't you gonna do what you do anyway, I'm gonna just do what I do
First everybody though. It's not like a specific
Okay, I get it
Just taking shit personal basic yeah, yeah, but it's more like okay just know I'm about to do the same thing
Was that like friendship shit or relationship
Both. Both.
You know, friends, family, female, anything, you know.
Because, okay, so correct me if I'm wrong,
I wanted to ask you about this.
I saw somewhere online, like a long time ago, a while back,
that you were catching flak because, if I'm not mistaken,
you take care of your child's mother, right?
Yeah, yeah, yeah. And you pretty much do everything for her
to make sure that your child has the lifestyle
that it deserves to live, right?
So how did you navigate through the internet
with that shit and rise above it
to not let it affect you and drive you crazy
because they were trying to go in on you about that.
I bought her another car.
As soon as they got to saying something about it,
I said, okay, let me get you another one of these
if they want to say something about it.
Somebody tell me, you know,
so and so fuck with your baby,
man, what do they think, I'm going to stop, okay,
you want me to get her something else,
let me buy her a chain.
And what made you get to that point
or make that decision that you were basically
gonna make sure she was straight regardless?
Man, I did that because on July 4th or New Year's,
my baby was crying.
And when he wasn't crying, he got scared of a firework,
and he's crying, and she just started patting him.
One time, he stopped crying, he started smiling, laughing,
and I was like, okay, what that means?
He's safe.
He's safe, he started smiling, laughing. And I was like, okay, what that means, he's safe.
He's safe, he's in great hands.
And what I was just telling somebody this,
I see my mom cry when I was younger,
and to this day, it's this feeling
that I can't get out of my sister
because I can't make her feel better
from what happened 20, 10 years ago.
And then I realized, I said, well damn,
if my son sees my mom, I mean, if my son sees
his mom cry, it could be something he deals with for the rest of his life.
And I got the power to change that.
I got the power to make sure that he don't have to go through that.
So even if I'm not with her, if she's with somebody else, it's not my business.
I made it to a point in life where I could take care of her to take care of me.
I'm not going to say when he's 18, I might say, hey, I hope you stack some bread up.
You know?
When he turns 18, I hope he was, you know?
I hope he was.
Because that's probably, well, she's so independent
and so cool.
If you ask me, when I'm 60, she's 60.
Whatever I, if she wanted to make back when she was 60,
I'd buy her a MacBrague when she was 60.
So do you think that her being as cool as she is,
is what was able to put you guys in the space
of the healthy co-parenting and the good relationship
that you guys have now, like outside of
anything else going on?
Yeah, it had to be that, it had to.
But I already knew who she was,
I knew what type of woman she was before I even got with her.
Cohabitated with her, yeah. I'll be honest of woman she was before I even got with her. Before you cohabitated with her.
I'll be honest with you, it was my partner's baby moment.
But me and him kind of fell out.
He was just changed down, you know, some dry shit.
He ain't even really do it because of that.
It was more because, I don't know,
you know, it was just, but then she was just so cool.
And it was like, she's independent.
You know, and I love that about her.
And she's been independent, so it was like, she's independent. You know, and I love everybody, and she's been independent, so it's just,
I don't see why I have to make her go to work.
If she could take care of my son.
I don't want to trust babysitters and stuff like that.
You know?
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
So, I'd just rather her stay with my baby.
Make sure we pay her.
Yeah, like, I just talked to somebody else,
like, she went to Puerto Rico a couple weeks ago,
and I was like, bro, what?
You know, I paid for that.
You know, what I ain't even know she love.
You were chilling and everything, you know,
I was in Puerto Rico a couple weeks ago, I said, what?
You ain't tell me nothing about this, you know what I'm saying?
And then, you know, no matter what, I got to tell you,
I got to tell you, so look, it's funny about it,
I don't know what to say. I like you, I like you, I swear to God, I gotta tell you, so look. It's funny about it, I don't know where it's lit.
I like you, I like you.
I swear to God, I like you.
Look, look, look, look.
This is what happened.
I was in my DMs, right?
I was in my DMs and I seen her name pop up
and there was a picture, she had a two piece on,
she was on a beach, she was on a beach.
You know what I'm saying?
And I'm looking and I say, hello, dog.
What?
You know what I'm saying?
Where did the coat from? And then I thought, I said, you know say, hold up, dog. What? You know what I'm saying? Where did it come from?
And then I'm like, I thought I said, you know what?
I can curse.
You cursing?
Yeah, of course.
I said, man, this bitch is ho.
You ho.
And I thought about it, I said, man, this bitch.
And I smiled.
I said, this bitch.
And I smiled.
I said, wow.
Like in a good way.
Yeah, she having fun.
And to see my baby mama have fun, you know, she could be sick.
Instead, take care of the kids while they're sick. And then, she could be sick, just take care of the kids
while they're sick and then still,
she could have, just be sick, hurting,
and I'd be gone, I can't help it.
She gets through that, she gets through it all by herself.
But the fact that you're even able to remove your emotions
from that situation and think that far is commendable for real.
I never thought I'd be able to do it.
But Trayn, if you just seen and said this bitch, you, this kid. No, no to do it. But you ain't if you just seen it and said this bitch.
No, no, no, no.
I was like, at first I was like, but I smiled and laughed off the real.
I was like this bitch. And then I was like, wait, this bitch, she's having fun. I like that.
I texted her right when I seen her and I said I ain't going to allow you to look good in that two piece.
She's going to send me the picture. I said I ain't going to see the picture. I was just telling you you look good. You know what I'm saying?
You only got one child? I got two.
Just about her?
Just one, no, I got one's mine.
I got another one that is basically mine,
if you ask me, I say he's my son.
But about her?
But biologically, not somebody else.
So do you take care of that baby moment too?
Damn, you put me on.
I was hoping nobody asked me that question.
That's a tough story right there.
But to be honest with you, no.
But. Cause it's not technically yours? No, it's not even that. asked me that question that's a tough story right there but be honest with you no but
because it's not technically yours no it's not even that she just
she she's more like uh man i can't i don't even want to talk about her to be honest with you
i don't like i don't really like yeah How was it for you growing up down in Texanum? Man, it was fun, bro.
It was fun, bro.
Everybody's life has complications in them.
Even the rich kids, they go through crazy shit.
But me, I just learned from so much as a kid.
Another typical shit we go through.
I can tell you that, I can tell everybody.
It's typical shit like that that we go through.
What part of life you feel like made you want
to be successful?
Like what you endured in your life that made you feel like,
man, I gotta be something different?
Enduring your life to make feel like man. I gotta be something different
I Won't even say that really just clicked in like it ain't like y'all hear me good over there
I wouldn't say that just really clicked in to maybe years later like as a teenager something as a kid when I started like opposite
As a kid just see my uncle rapping with his friends,
and I said, I just saw him rap with him,
and just had fun as a kid.
You see him and stuff, but they high and drunk,
and you just see all of that, you know?
And you just, damn, you just start rapping,
and then you just keep playing around with it,
playing around with it, and then you just keep going
until you get to a certain age where you realize,
okay, but this is what I want to do,
this is what I really want to do.
You know what you want to do at a certain time,
but then there's another time where you actually realize,
this is what I want to do, maybe I got to get into it,
which is when you get older because you can't do that
as a child playing around, you know what I'm saying?
When you get a little bit older, realize more things.
Like, I made my first three songs,
I was like eight maybe, a studio in the city.
I was young though just with my uncle rapping and stuff you know so down the line I just
realized okay that's what I want to do.
What I got to do to get there and just get the motion.
Whatever you got to do just get the motion and stay in motion and keep going and keep
going and keep going.
That's all you got to do is just keep going.
That's what I do actually keep going.
Now what was that moment when you said like ain't no playing beat
You know saying this all I got
Man, I'm honest with you. I want to say I when I when I first started playing around with music when I was young
Playing around I would say I knew but let's say maybe
Man, I knew for some years. I knew for so long, but, I knew since I was a kid, I knew this was it.
Like, whatever happens, this gotta work.
I don't remember what age, it had to be about eight, nine
when I went to go make my first three songs with my uncle.
It gotta be around that time, I knew, I always knew.
I know what I gotta do and I know what I got.
A lot of people, they don't know what they got
and what they wanna do, so they just, you know what I mean?
You gotta know, you gotta know
you got it, when you go do that
you can't just, you can't have no doubts about it.
You gotta know that you can do that, you know?
Why you think so many people compare you to Kevin Gates?
Is it because of the collaboration
or do y'all really have, you feel like
similarity, like life similarities?
You know, I appreciate him a lot,
but I tell him I appreciate him a lot.
Like I text him out of nowhere saying,
thank God for you bro,
because without you I probably wouldn't even
be rapping like this.
To be honest with you, I was rapping a little different.
And when I heard him, it was just,
it really changed my life what I told him that.
You know, I could call him and tell him,
but I told him, I tell him, like, hey,
and then he tell me, hey, I'm still shocked probably to this day that, hey, and then he tell me, hey,
I'm still shocked, probably to this day, that he actually, like, he'll tell me,
like, I'm a fan, I listen to his music, and I'm like,
like, that's one person, and it just shocked the hell out
of me, you know what I'm saying?
Everybody else, I feel regular around,
like a regular person, but him, I was mad, too,
the first time I talked to him, bro,
because I froze up, and I was so mad,
because he was on FaceTime, I was with Bo the first time I talked to him bro because I froze up and I was so mad because he was on FaceTime
I was with Boobie Black
Yeah
Man I froze up so bad I was mad
He was like
So much to say but nothing to say
I didn't say nothing I said okay
Okay
Bro we're on the phone
He going to tell me
He going to tell me
I heard him on the phone he don't tell my he got to hear me. I heard him on the phone even booby across the
table
He'd what I'm like unless they put him on the phone. I would hide
Smoking like that at the moment. I would hire with black boo. Yeah, I was fuck
He put him on the phone I said damn
He put him on the phone. I said, damn.
He gave me the phone.
He was like, what up?
He said, she like me moga something is.
Cause something like that was just rapping.
And I'm just like, I fuck with you.
He said, but I gotta come get in your face.
Man, this is the funniest shit ever.
Bro, look.
It's the funniest shit.
I don't think I ever even told nobody this is coming.
I swear to God.
Look, I swear to God.
I'm on FaceTime when I'm on the phone, look, look, we're on the phone.
He, man, I don't know.
He, say I gotta come get in your face, I'm like, okay.
I swear to God, hey, man, I was mad as hell.
I said, damn, I thank Boobie, he said, give me the phone.
Oh, he was like, pass Boobie the phone, I said,
bet, I ain't even say bet, just gave it the phone. Or he was like, pass Boobie the phone. I said, bet. He said, bet.
Just gave it to him and I'm like, damn.
So you think he took it as initially,
you think he felt that you was kinda having a moment of it.
He might've thought like you didn't fuck with him though.
I didn't know.
Nah, he knew I did.
Nah, Gaze saw it.
He knew it.
He knew it.
Nah, bro, really fuck with him.
I've been talking to Boobie about four or five years
before that, maybe even seven years.
I've been talking to Boobie. I've been trying to get in contact with Gaze about six years
before I actually talked to him.
You know what I'm saying?
But that's another thing as an artist standpoint, I tell you, you just got to keep giving your
shit going.
You know?
You get there.
I think that's the universal theme of everybody that's been on this couch today is to keep
going no matter what.
You never know.
You got to understand that though like a lot of people you you might a lot harder to make fuck you you ain't
You ain't acknowledge me back then I'm blowing up now
But you know what now you want to talk to me Tim you like when music a lot of people be like
I know fuck with you
Me I don't do that because I understand what you gotta say. It's just work you gotta put in
He had to put in more work than I had to put in to say. It's just work you got to put in.
He had to put in more work than I had to put in,
probably because he started with it
when we were on Instagram.
You know what I'm saying?
He had to do way more than I had to do to get the Robbers.
I mean, really, yeah, no, he did.
He did.
I ain't even gonna see him in that situation.
He had to do a lot more than that,
even if he didn't, though.
If somebody blew up, right?
If somebody made a song today, blew up up tomorrow, and I would still treat him like
he took forever to do that, you know what I mean?
Like, he said, I would respect the situation.
So, he didn't want to talk to me, and he was cocky,
and he blew up in a day, he cocky,
and then I want to work with him,
and he don't talk to me until two, three years later,
I'm still be like, man, I fuck with you.
You know, I'm not going to say nothing. You ain't try to holler at me back then when you, and I'm still be like, man, I fuck with you. You know, I'm not gonna say nothing.
You ain't try to holla at me back then
when you be like, no, I'm not gonna say nothing.
I just understand the work, the process.
Oh, Mike Jones had ass niggas back then.
They didn't want me.
Yeah.
No, I ain't all about me.
No bullshit, no bullshit.
That's a good one, too.
Hey, so you've been sober for a minute, like completely?
Oh, wow, that's what I read somewhere.
My bad, my bad, my bad.
Just saying.
Say who? Next question. Look at me. Man, I lied, bro. You wow, that's what I read somewhere, my bad, my bad, my bad. Just saying. Say who?
Bex, who it be?
Man, I lied, bro.
You lied, okay.
You were in there, you didn't even get in there.
We love accountability.
I lied, bro.
Man, I was sitting there.
You tried.
You know what's funny?
That was March 1st.
I remember I was telling my boy the other day, I said,
I told him I was gonna be sober by May 1st, right?
And he was like, nah, that's next month, but that's still, my days was out.
I think I'm just like.
I think I met May 1st, but I was so out of it at the moment.
I was so high, I don't even know why I said that.
You know what I'm saying?
Hey, nah, this is what it was though.
I was up by two, three days, and I had to drive
all the way to Dallas
to go do the Say Cheese interview.
That's where you're seeing it,
where this shit I was sober at.
Where did I tell y'all false information, bro?
I had to lie.
Only reason I don't got no cup right now,
I swear to God, is I don't got no soda.
But I know you heard my little pill shake
when I grabbed my bag earlier.
I ain't even.
But I mean, I'm under a little bit more control though.
You know what I'm saying?
I can honestly tell you, I put a one line.
You think that she help your music?
Yeah, yeah it does.
That's a big part of the reason why I don't,
a lot of my fans be in the comments like,
damn if he goes solo, we need that cup in my,
we need that, they like that when I put that cup in it.
So every song, I like that, you know what I'm saying?
Makes me feel better.
Yeah, that's your heart.
Yeah, like one time when I did stop sippin',
I made a song when I stopped sippin' and I was sippin'.
And you didn't put the cup.
I didn't have no cup, you know what I'm sayin'?
And I liked the song, but it was kinda like,
man this ain't it, for real.
This ain't it, bro. And the song I'm talkin' about of like, man, this ain't it, for real. This ain't it, bro.
And the song, I'm talking about I ain't got no drink with me.
I got some water with me right now.
So, you know what I'm saying?
Shut the fuck up and go pick up that cup, man.
You know what I'm saying?
Go pick that up.
What's the balance with that shit, though?
Like, how you, how you, uh, how you, what you do to, like, clean yourself out?
Like, do you, do you, like, detox and shit?
Man, man, shit. Clean yourself out. Like do you do you like detox and shit?
I drink water
Lot of
You got to know me too. Yeah, cuz that's shit. That's yeah dehydrated. I used to be drinking
Yeah, yeah
It's like, I got to the point
where I put a line in my water.
You know what I'm saying?
Like, I drink water with it.
You said, oh, he's drinking the wine.
He's drinking the wine.
He need that flavor.
I put it in the water.
I put it in a vitamin water.
I like those.
You think you addicted?
Would you say you addicted, or you saying?
No, you gotta drink water, water, like real water.
Lemon water.
I just drank some lemon cucumber water right now.
Oh, okay.
I came like two cups of it.
Got you.
Two small cups.
So it's a personal choice thing.
You don't feel like you addicted.
You just feel like that's where you at right now.
You ain't no said thing.
You either addicted or you ain't with the drink.
I'm on that.
I'm on that.
I'm on that.
Damn.
I'm on that.
I'm on that.
I'm on that. I'm on that. I'm on that. I'm on that. I'm on that. I'm't drink. Damn. Like I don't. There ain't no in between with this shit. I don't even think I'm stopping to be honest with you.
I just decided to keep going.
I love it.
Why you think everybody else stopped though?
We don't have a lot of people on this couch.
Who stopped?
Who was homie on?
Got it.
Got it, right?
Yeah.
It's possible, fool.
It's possible, but I'm from Houston.
There's a difference.
I got you.
That's the, y'all the creators of.
That's the culture.
Yeah.
Yeah, like my daddy and my daddy.
Houston and he truck. but I'm pretty sure
I knew my real dad.
He sip drank too, you know what I'm saying?
Nigga, DJ Screw's house is a fuckin' tourist attraction,
nigga, like, come on, let's be for real, like.
Hey, let me ask you something.
Do that shit, fuck, you mood swings, though?
Man, I got mood swings without that shit.
I'm fuckin' with my head.
I'm saying, do it, do it, make it worse. Like, when I wake up on this shit, I don't feel better, I got mood swings and all that shit. You know what I'm saying? Do it make it worse?
Like when I wake up on this shit,
I used to then feel better till I drank some more.
Yes, look, that's what happened the other day.
I woke up like four days ago,
and I slept for like 18 hours
because I was up for so long.
I fight the angle, I fight it to my high.
I fight the high.
I don't go to sleep.
I fight it, I be up by three days high as hell.
Just looking like, I be thinking I look normal.
And then my parents just see me and be like,
you geeky.
You know what I'm saying?
I'm like, for real?
I'm looking myself in the mirror and say, damn.
I've been up by three days, I'm tripping.
You know what I'm saying?
But I woke up a couple days ago and
like my body was just tired.
I was tired, I was drained, you know what I'm sayin'?
Then I went to the, I hit a soda road.
I put me a line on a fire-out energy bottle
and I took it with me to the store,
so I ain't gonna ride without a little bit.
So I took me a line to the store,
got to the store, put it in the soda,
poured it up, took a sip,
probably took a really little piece of my liqueur,
smoked a cigarette, and like in the second sip,
it's like when it just flowed through my body.
It was bad.
You know what I mean?
And it like made you all better?
What?
I was up.
You know what I'm saying?
I was up after that.
I was good.
Like I was happy.
I mean, I was happy when I woke up,
but that was just different.
It made me just continue to be happy.
Only thing it was is my body was numb.
I mean, I'm not numb.
I was just aching. I was aching because I'd been asleep for so long. It wasn't even because I drank it because I was is my body was numb. I mean, I'm not numb, I was just aching.
I was aching because I'd been asleep for so long.
It wasn't even because I drank it,
because I was laying down for so long.
Because you were basically withdrawing.
Nah, he's saying.
Nah, it was just because I was laying down for so long.
Like, so you just irritated.
Oh, so this is when you woke up.
Yeah, you just irritated, because I slept for like 17,
16, 18 hours.
OK.
Because I was up by three days, and you know what I'm saying?
Like, I just woke up.
I've been sleeping the night over here.
I've just been doing what they tell me to do.
I think they told me not to talk about the drink.
I don't even know.
You know what I'm saying?
Well.
Big facts is big facts.
We can't put it on the cup.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Can't put it on the cup, man.
Shout out to Dave.
But yeah, it, can't put on a cut, man. Shout out, shout out Dave. But yeah, it does, it does, it does fuck with me.
It makes me feel, I'm happy right now to dance with you,
so it just makes me feel a little bit better than happy,
I guess, happy sometimes.
You think it make you calm?
Make you more calm.
I'm really calm and gentle.
I don't scream, I don't, yeah, I don't make it.
So when I do gotta do it, everybody's like,
damn, what's wrong with him?
He's out of character for you.
Yeah, he don't do it, but that's why...
Even if I'm about to hit you in the mouth,
you wouldn't even know it.
I'm so chill, I'm gonna be looking at you like,
it's chilling, this thing, you know what I'm talking about.
Fuck, I gotta hit this nigga in the mouth.
You're chillin'.

mental health struggles, and more,
and found the strength to make it to the other side.
My dad was shot and killed in his house.
Yes, he was a drug dealer.
Yes, he was a confidential informant.
But he wasn't shot on the street corner.
He wasn't shot in the middle of a drug deal.
He was shot in his house, unarmed.
Pretty Private isn't just a podcast.
It's your personal guide
for turning storylines into lifelines.

Sometimes it's hard to remember, but
Going through something like that is a traumatic experience, but it's also not the end of their life.
That was my dad reminding me and so many others who need to hear it that our trauma is not our
shame to carry and that we have big bold and beautiful lives to live after what happened to us.
I'm your host and co-president of this organization, Dr. Lea TraTate. On my new podcast,
The Unwanted Sorority, we wade through transformation to peel back healing and reveal what it actually looks like, and sounds like, in real time.
Each week, I sit down with people who've lived through harm, carried silence, and are
now reshaping the systems that failed us.
We're going to talk about the adultification of Black girls, mothering as resistance, and
the tools we use for healing.
The Unwanted Sorority is a safe space, not a quiet space.
So let's walk in.
We're moving towards liberation together.
Listen to The Unwanted Sorority,
new episodes every Thursday on the iHeartRadio app,
Apple podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
Adventure should never come with a pause button.
Remember the movie pass era
where you could watch all the movies
you wanted for just nine dollars it made zero sense and i could not stop thinking about it
i'm richard todd host of the tech podcast there are no girls on the internet on this new season
i'm talking to the innovators who are left out of the tech headlines like the visionary behind a
movie pass black founder stacy spikes who was pushed out of MoviePass, the company that he founded.
His story is wild and it's currently the subject
of a juicy new HBO documentary.
We dive into how culture connects us.
When you go to France, or you go to England,
or you go to Hong Kong, those kids are wearing Jordans,
they're wearing Kobe's shirt, they're watching Black Panther.
And the challenges of being a Black founder.
Close your eyes and tell me what a tech founder looks like.
They're not gonna describe someone who looks like me
and they're not gonna describe someone who looks like you.
I created There Are No Girls on the internet
because the future belongs to all of us.
So listen to There Are No Girls on the internet
on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts,
or wherever you get your podcasts.
So do you think that, I'm sorry, my bad screen. Do you think that even temperedness has kind of helped you in life because you don't really show too much so people can't
really figure you out?
Man, I'll tell you this. Last time I tried to do something like that, somebody died and
then somebody died again,
just because I was being...
Chill?
No, man, I wasn't chill.
Oh, like when you flipped out.
That's why I just, man, I swear,
this was the stupidest shit ever.
I don't even, I don't,
it's, I just gotta stay, I just gotta stay me.
I don't like getting mad.
I don't like when people put me in positions
where I gotta get mad. I don't like when mad. I don't like when people put me in positions where I gotta get mad.
I don't like when I gotta do something
that I'm not trying to do.
For somebody who keeps doing stuff
to put you in positions, you gotta keep doing stuff
you don't wanna do.
Just so happen for me, it was my sister who did something
that I ain't, I wouldn't really,
it wasn't even my sister, it was her baby daddy,
and she just, it was just the wrong time.
And that got me, and that just escalated.
And then you gotta walk around with this little,
my guy in your bag like, damn, is that my father?
And then you realize, hell no.
Hell no, that wasn't my father, but it was.
It was, but you asked me,
I'm not gonna carry that on my back.
I can't.
It was just me trying to protect my sister,
I guess you could say, so I don't, that wasn't my fault.
How many people you thought was going to be
like riding all the way out with you
that just couldn't come along on your journey?
Man, I knew from my kid,
I wasn't taking everybody with me.
I'll tell them.
I'll tell them, I'll say,
look, I'm going to be real with you.
I'm going to let y'all know right now.
All y'all ain't coming with me.
I'm just letting you know that right now.
I told everybody, said my whole family.
I said, I told my people when I make it,
I can't take them all there.
I told them that stuff to kids.
Like, sometimes I see the music lifestyle
and how everything's going.
And I always thought it was kind of fake. I thought was fake and I'm like wow what you mean fake like what? Like it's real. Oh like yeah yeah.
It's real and I'm now I'm like wow this is real like it's a change of
life change of life is real. You thought it was like acting like niggas just acting like they doing what you doing now.
I don't know. I don't know. I always just thought like I just thought some of it was like it was too
much. I might do a video with some extra shit that's not mine in it. You know what I'm saying?
But so that was the reason. It was like okay I know the olive it can't be this but then now it's
like okay no that's mine. You know what I'm saying? And it's wild, you know what I'm saying?
It's wild.
And then you'd be like, damn, hold up.
Thrill, let me go get my baby mama a truck
and put it in the video right quick.
You know what I'm saying?
Let me go get, you know what I'm saying?
Let me, and it's yours.
It's basically yours.
You know, it's a gift.
I can't, I don't wanna take shit back like that, but.
But you bought it.
So it's okay to put it in there.
You know what I'm saying? I can wear my baby mama's shirt if I want to. You know what I'm saying? But you bought it, so it's okay to put it in there.
I can wear my baby mom's shirt if I want to.
No, no, and it's just crazy, because we have it.
I have it, I got it.
It's crazy, you know what I mean?
Crazy, I mean, it's wild.
I saw that Gates moment, what's another moment
that makes you be like, damn, this nigga here alone me?
Man, I'm, no, no, no. And it makes me like Danny nigga. He'll know me You know, it's not me everybody kind of knows me
What made me mad is a lot of them a sense somebody to tell me a song so folks with you
I'm not gonna talk to you. I'm not gonna talk to you then.
I'm not gonna talk to you unless you tell me
you're fucking with me, you know what I'm saying?
You have to tell me.
Directly.
Or I'm not talking to you.
That's a good disclaimer that you put down there
because you might not be approachable.
You be chill on that drink.
You might just be chilling, nigga,
but like, bro, it don't seem like
he gonna fuck with a nigga right now.
Nah, that's not how that works, man. That's not. That's not your man at the end of the day your man
Yeah, that's a man. Let's talk to the man
I don't got no issue walking up on somebody telling my fuck with him
You know it's in a bad mood a bad mood to tell me my thank you and get it back your face
Yeah, you know I'm not gonna sit down just stay over your face. I don't
I don't really want to take pictures with nobody
I'll ask nobody for pictures cuz I know I'm a running to him eventually with time. I can take a picture with him right now I just want you to to take pictures with nobody. I don't ask nobody for pictures because I know I'm running to them eventually
when it's the time I can take a picture with them.
Right now I just want you to know how fuck with you
and that's it.
You know what I'm saying?
How you doing?
I respect your craft.
Have a good night.
Right.
And then get right out.
But,
baby Drake, when I first met Drake,
he was like, these babies, you know, like, whoa.
But then again, I only met him through Jake met Drake, he was like, D Baby, and I'm like, whoa, fuck.
But then again, I only met him through J Prince,
so he could've just told him,
there's D Baby in there and he won't.
You know what I'm saying?
This is how I think, this is how I think.
You know what I mean?
It's like, it's a perceived fucked up way of thinking though.
I would've told him, my brother,
he said I dropped the Hyundai's on the floor, right?
And I said, man, the way I grew up,
you could have pulled that Hyundai's out your pocket
and told me you found it just to be cool with me,
or get close with me, so I could trust you.
And even if I did drop it, to this day,
I think he grabbed it out of his pocket and lied to me.
Did he show, try to show some false loyalties?
Nah, he cool, he's cool.
You know what I'm saying, that's what you thinking.
I'm saying, but that's what you thinking, though. That's what your mind's thinking. Like, you trying to show's cool. Know what I'm saying? That's what you thinking though.
That's what your mind's thinking.
Yeah, yeah.
Like you trying to show me your law by giving me your honor.
Yeah, give me your honor.
I swear to God.
Hey, give me your honor.
Keep it, bro.
Did I take it?
Hell yeah.
I ain't going to turn it down, huh?
Give it to me.
Shit.
But still, you took it at that time.
This nigga probably got it.
To this day, I swear to God, he pulled it out of his pocket and lied to me.
Yeah, say to me, we up.
What you talking about?
What you talking about?
What you talking about?
What you talking about? What you talking about? What you talking about? What you talking about? What you talking about? But still you took it and thought this nigga probably got it. To this day I swear to God he pulled it out of his pocket and lied to me.
Yeah, shit if he did we up.
What you think put you in that mindset right there though?
I grew up, it's nasty out there.
Facts.
It's disgusting out there.
My uncle never tried to do me.
My uncle tried to, you know what's crazy?
My uncle tried to sell me some drink one time and it was fake and I was about to fire it
I ain't even check it. It was nothing. I think I was like maybe 30-40 maybe
Just on Unch's face

He's still my favorite uncle for he's still my favorite uncle dog
What's your sign?
I'm a cancer

I think I'm a Gemini at heart though. Because of my dad.
I looked at him two times in my life so I took a lot of his shit.
I thought you was on the cusp of it.

because of my dad.
So you're like a hermaphrodite cancer.
What's that?
Like you're kind of like both.
Like you're a cancer and a Gemini.
It is a comparison.
I don't know what that is.
I'm trying to use them words.
No, like you're like, you're both.
Like you're a cancer and a Gemini. How about hybrid What is it? No, like, you're like, you're both, like you're a cancer and a gem.
How about hybrid?
Yeah, just say, just say, oh, you both.
Hybrid.

You both of them, you both of them.
Just say that.
Yeah, yeah.
Oh, you both of them.
You know what I'm saying?
My bad, big daddy, I'm sorry.
That ain't good.
I'm sorry.
So.
Oh, God.
What was that? What was that? Oh, you remember. So, uh, what was I saying?
What up the world? Oh yeah, you were talking about your uncle.
Oh, he was talking about my uncle, yeah.
He's my real uncle, because my dad's not my real dad.
Okay.
So, uh, he, he, I think he was really going to sell it to me for what he did.
He was like, you want this?
I said yeah, he gave it to me.
He said, stupid ass nigga, look. He grabbed the you want this? I said yeah, he gave it to him. He said stupid ass nigga look he grabbed the body
So they get the bottom of it. I put fake shit in that bitch look you know what I'm saying
He at the bottom of the medicine body put a syringe
And I was like wow
You would make you feel like you gonna stay sensitive you didn't
Man cuz he felt bad.
I thought my dad was gonna ride me for a little bit of heart
one time.
I ain't gonna lie to you.
See, they both, they just treacherous over there.
My grandma said they crazy.
But they ain't get you, though.
They did it.
Don't tell you, though.
But name another nigga they sped, though.
They ain't spaying no nigga, right?
Yeah, nah.
They ain't get you, so they fuck with you.
I don't know, fool.
No. No. No. You ain't no nigga right? They ain't get you so they fuck with you. I don't know fool.
No.
He just really wanted to do it and I know he did dog.
He just could.
But that's another thing with us Kanzas we always think a lot of shit too.
I'm mad right now thinking about it because I can't believe he would do that.
I'm going to tell you what you mad at.
That you about to go for it.
That he could have.
You ain't mad that he did.
That's what I'm saying. I trusted him. What you mad at that you about to go for it that he could have
He teach you don't trust nobody well check the button now, I bet you that's why you bought you started That's why I'm telling you hold a bit. It's nasty out there. It's disgusting. That's what I'm saying

Shit.
Yeah you a gemini.
That me?
You a gemini.
You deal with something that make you feel better brother.
Maybe.

Cause I don't think my dad would give it to you.
My dad would say, fuck you.
Who would have go out of Texas period?
Ain't got to be no rapper, just an all-time go.
In your eyes.
My grandmother.
Wear a suit?
Yeah, my grandmother wore a suit.

He's grandma.
I'm like, well, my grandma, y'all mom love me.
It's like a grandma thing, I guess.
I don't know.
Maybe grandparents feel like they can fix what they didn't do with their kids.
I don't know.
I didn't know she was a grandma.
I know.
I'm a granddad now.
Yeah.
Yeah, I know.
They getting the best side and nice side, my kids. That's what it is. I feel like I'm a whole fuck now. So, yeah. Yeah, I know they getting the best at the night side. My kids feel like I'm a whole fucking new.
Grandkids, they think, oh, papa.
Yeah, yeah.
Damn, that's crazy.
I would probably sell my sons some plate lanes or something.
Yeah?
Just to teach them a game.
They burning them, boy.
They burning about.
I swear, I feel the same way.
I was in the same.
You better.
You got to wake them up.
I'm going to do it.
Life is the best teacher.
I'm going to swap it out.
Go swap it out.
You better hope I don't slip if you start to slip because I'm going to swap it out.
I'm going to take it from you.
I don't know.
I don't even want to think about that.
I'm sure.
Hey, so how did you deal with the people like
once you did start, god damn, blowing up,
like people that feel like you're on the floor,
how you deal with that?
Um, man, I got issues like that with family right now.
I just, I ain't gonna forget about it, man.
I ain't talking to you in 10 years, you know what I mean? I've been forgotten about you. Yeah, like, and then, you me. I ain't talking to you in 10 years, fool. You know what I'm saying?
I've been forgotten about you.
Yeah, like, and then, you know, I ain't gonna lie, bro.
What made me mad is, it's just, man, fool.
I love my offer to bill, but I don't even want to talk about
it, I want to talk about the other one.
This is his friend, I'm not really related to him.
Man, is it okay if I sell merch with your face on it? I'm like, no bro, like, you come to sign it from me
so I can sell it, so I'm just trying to make
a little extra money, and I'm like, no, no, bro, like, no.
Why no?
You know what I mean?
I just-
That's the fave, bro.
Nah, it's not even much him.
I can't even put him in that category when I talk like this is his friend
I knew I know I knew I
Knew oh
Friend
Yeah, he's like a family friend, bro, and I'm just
He wants his shirt with your name your face on the way
and I'm just...
Nigga wanna see his shirt with your name, your face on it, and shit.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, I'm just like,
man, I just don't know, I don't like that.
Shit like that with family.
Do you feel like certain people
just shouldn't ask you certain shit?
Y'all y'all gotta say it.
Yes, yes.
Like, why would you even ask me to do that, bro?
But, but, but, you don't.
Because now I feel like you trying to be like I'm Elaine.
Yeah, I agree.
Don't do it.
But.
Because you know I'd do anything for you, you know, like, whatever it is, you could
probably just ask me for it, but now you're going too far.
But watch that line in your heart.
You two asses will say the line in your heart.
I don't know if it's knowing or not.
Yeah, that's what I'm going to say.
Don't ask me anything, bro.
Like, I'm, you think about it, I done made it to the position where you don't have to ask me
You know I'm you don't have to ask nobody has to ask me. I see you and just be like
You know that that's where it got to so when you asked me
I'm like I just gave you something if it's somebody asked me something is feel like something
It's somebody I just gave something maybe
It's somebody I just gave something maybe, you know?
Yeah, don't hit me for nothing, I feel like. Just don't ask.
Hey, no, please don't hit me with that goddamn.
Hey, she asked me something else.
No, I feel like.
Don't hit me with that goddamn.
Or that goddamn you acting in Hollywood or no shit like that.
Shut up, Tripp.
Man.
So, so, so, OK, yeah, y'all talking about people.
I'll bite your nose off or some shit like that.
Yeah, you're going to bite it.
Please don't do that. Goddamn. Y'all talking about people. I'll bite your nose off or some shit like that. Like, please don't do that.
God damn.
Y'all talking about people y'all know, right?
But somebody just asked me for a cigarette at the hotel.
This is what I'm saying.
If you're in a random set in the airport,
if you're in the airport or a hotel,
the cigarette is crazy, but I'm saying,
should a nigga, because we all get this, right?
Should a nigga run up on us at the airport
And be like I'm trying to get on big facts should they do that
So the nigga if he catch you in motion at the airport should he be like bro, what's up with a feature?
Man bro, call me eating at the some crawfish one name when can't write from and I told him I said hey
Let me finish my food. He said man. It's gonna be quick
What you say earlier nasty I hit. Niggas trying to make it.
Disgusting.
Niggas might not run into the D-Baby no more.
I ain't ran into him.
Oh, I did.
Matter of fact, I did.
He went in, he bought some shit.
You saw him again?
Yeah, he bought some merch or something, I think, one time.
When I seen him again, he want to rap for me.
I said, look, bro,
you ain't got nowhere from the last time I seen you,
don't rap with me no more, I'm cool, brother.
You know what I'm saying?
Thank you, brother.
But look, you ain't know, look, look, look, look, look,
dude, I was, I'm so fucked up,
I really felt like a hoe early,
because dude walk up on me like,
look, as soon as he walk up on me,
I'm looking at him, I said, man, he said,
he said, excuse me, I know what the fuck he said.
I said, man, I ain't got nothing for you.
And all I'm saying is that you got a cigarette.
I'm thinking he gonna ask me for money.
I feel like a old fool,
got to thank him for the ass for some money.
And while I'm saying, man, I ain't got nothing for you.
But in the midst of saying that,
all you hear is, are you got nothing, cigarette?
I'm like, damn.
I'm like, man, shit, man.
I gave him two cigarettes, got to fuck this.
You were cool people though, you look,
you were cool, you look cool.
I felt like, you looked like a person,
you wouldn't even want to talk to me.
I felt like, oh, I don't want to talk to you.
You were probably about to ask me for some money though,
until you heard me say, man, I ain't got,
because when I said, man, I ain't got,
that's when he said the cigarettes.
So he could have been saying, you got some money,
you know what I'm saying?
I don't know.
Yeah, let me get some out of this nigga before he leaves.
This nigga just ain't trusting shit.
That's the same with the all of you and the drink
Like it could have been to us buddy, but he see our girls or the digger took the least possible
Yeah, he's just burned on people right now. We got to give him a minute
We call that back in our we call that game shot like a nigga think everybody in the game against
But say is it but is it really
That far-fetched to be shell-shocked after you've been through so much or certain shit
Can you help it?
You can, I feel like you can.
I feel like what you think is what come to you now personally.
I feel like if you thinking somebody on some bullshit,
you're gonna track bullshit.
That's how I feel now.
Cause I remember just being out, seeing people
and automatically feeling like, what's up?
But now I be like, what's up?
And niggas be like, what's up, bank?
They go in here and bank, bank, I fuck with you.
But you, I'm giving out the energy like, I'm on it.
So they be on it.
Then a nigga don't know how to,
but you come with that good face smiley bank,
now I'm smiling.
Niggas is smiling.
It's all what you put out.
But I feel like, Tate, removing the personal interaction from it on everything else,
I feel like that's just like, let's just say fucking, it's a kid, this fucking,
they mama used to whoop them or beat them or whatever, or their punishment used to be,
like fucking, they mama used to whoop them or beat them or whatever,
or their punishment used to be,
like they used to get fucking Penny from Good Times
burnt with iron or some shit or hot water or anything.
Now when they see anything boiling on the stove,
they flinch or they, you know what I'm saying,
they trip out because it's like,
that's triggering.
I can see boiling hot water.
They're triggering the shit, that shit triggers them and they can't help it because
That's all they know is bad shit from that kind of traumatized. Yeah, exactly. Yeah, that was deep though
Show me how good it can get today God and show the rest of the world what we already
know.

is given to me by God, and I love it.
Books that validated our identity.
The library now for me is a safe space
as someone who is writing books that they're
trying to take off of shelves. And how we as black queer folks relate to our Christianity.

Welcome to Pretty Private with Ebene, the podcast where silence is broken and stories
are set free.
I'm Ebene and every Tuesday I'll be sharing all new anonymous stories that will challenge
your perceptions and give you new insight on the people around you.
On Pretty Private, we'll explore the untold experiences of women of color who faced it all, childhood
trauma, addiction, abuse, incarceration, grief, mental health struggles, and more,
and found the strength to make it to the other side.
My dad was shot and killed in his house.
Yes, he was a drug dealer.
Yes, he was a confidential informant, but he wasn't shot on the street corner.
He wasn't shot in the middle of a drug deal.
He was shot in his house unarmed.
Pretty Private isn't just a podcast.
It's your personal guide for turning storylines into lifelines.
Every Tuesday, make sure you listen to Pretty Private from the Black Effect
Podcast Network, tune in on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you listen to your favorite
shows. Sometimes it's hard to remember, but going through something like that is a traumatic
experience. But it's also not the end of your life. That was my dad reminding me and so many others
who need to hear it, that our trauma is not our shame to carry and that we have big, bold and
beautiful lives to live after what happened to us.
I'm your host and co-president of this organization, Dr. Lea TraTate.
On my new podcast, The Unwanted Sorority, we wade through transformation to peel back
healing and reveal what it actually looks like, and sounds like, in real time.
Each week, I sit down with people who've lived through harm, carried silence, and are
now reshaping the systems that failed us. We're going to talk about the adultification of Black girls,
mothering as resistance, and the tools we use for healing. The Unwanted Sorority is
a safe space, not a quiet space. So let's lock in. We're moving towards liberation
together. Listen to The Unwanted Sorority, new episodes every Thursday on the iHeartRadio app, Apple
podcasts or wherever you get your podcasts.
Adventure should never come with a pause button.
Remember the movie pass era where you could watch all the movies you wanted for just $9?
It made zero sense and I could not stop thinking about it.
I'm Brigitte Todd, host of the tech podcast There Are No Girls on the AirNet.
On this new season, I'm talking to the innovators
who are left out of the tech headlines,
like the visionary behind MoviePass,
Black founder Stacey Spikes,
who was pushed out of MoviePass, the company that he founded.
His story is wild, and it's currently the subject
of a juicy new HBO documentary.
We dive into how culture connects us.
When you go to France, or you go to us. When you go to France or you
go to England or you go to Hong Kong, those kids are wearing Jordans, they're
wearing Kobe shirt, they're watching Black Panther. And the challenges of being a
Black founder. Close your eyes and tell me what a tech founder looks like.
They're not gonna describe someone who looks like me and they're not gonna
describe someone who looks like you. they're not going to describe someone who looks like you.
I created There Are No Girls on the internet because the future belongs to all of us. So listen to There Are No Girls on the internet on the iHeartRadio app, Apple
podcast or wherever you get your podcasts.

So how excited or how happy or how fucking overjoyed were you
when you got the call about the tour with YB?
Man, I knew about it kind of for a while.
But I'm never gonna get too excited until it's confirmed.
Until we on them dates.
Never.
They sit in the front end and they...
I'm never gonna, as of right now,
I still kind of feel like, damn, it's a big possibility
that you can take off for any reason.
Shit, that didn't announce that.
Promo out.
Promo out, this shit don't mean shit.
No, I know that, but I'm just saying,
it's highly unlikely.

So.
Oh, he just not fuck with the tour people.
I don't just wanna chill.
You might not.
I be tough.
Fuck Live Nation.
I just appreciate it.
That shit going crazy though.
It's already sold out, right?
I appreciate it.
That shit has sold like 1,800 million thousand
pre-sales or some crazy shit.
Wow.
You about to kill that shit.
Wait, how many?
Eight hundred million thousand.
He calculate, he calculate.

Yeah, it's so great.
What city you think fucked with you the most

I don't know I just like post what I post and get out definitely he is definitely a Gemini
You're just post what I post and get up after that, cause uh.
Yeah, I took a break for like four days.
I came back this afternoon to all kind of crazy shit.
Like, the world keeps turning.
Yeah.
Yeah, I just got to check my DMs,
just in case business stuff,
or look at some funny shit.
Check my email, look through my phone,
messages, calls, and just my phone back down.
Yeah.
You know?
So what's some shit, like, what's some shit
that you like to do, you know, like, outside of, like,
working and all that kind of shit?
Well, this is, I'm glad you asked that.
So the thing about working is, for me, is,
if I step out the door, that means I'm working
and I'm about to pay for some shit.
You know what I'm saying?
The moment I step out that door, I done lost probably like $600. The moment I step out
I'm like, ching. Every step I take about $30. I swear by the time I come home I done.
Yeah, yeah, outside and knock the coins out your ass boy. So my favorite thing to do is I like to stay the fuck in the house.
You know what I'm saying?
Facts.
You know what I'm saying?
I like to stay in the house.
I like to go to the movies.
I like watching my movies.
I go to the movies a lot too.
I like my TV shows because I get to sit there and just chill.
What you be watching?
Everything. because I get to sit there and just chill. What you be watching? Everything, Power, 1923, Yellowstone, Vikings,
movies, everything, you know what I'm saying?
Yes.
That's my chill time, my downtime,
because that's the only time I get to just sit there
and do shit and not have to.
Like I said, if I walk outside, I'm working.
There's nowhere around it. I go somewhere, I leave, I'm in the studio.
And you know, I'm in the shooting videos,
camera's somewhere, there's artists somewhere,
and they want to talk business everywhere.
I don't know, I just chill in my house.
You can't even get a hold of me.
You kind of like-
Yeah, you can disconnect.
You have to like come to my house and pull up on me. Nobody even get a hold of me. You kinda like. Yeah, you can disconnect. You have to like come to my house and pull up on me.
Nobody can get a hold of me.
If I don't wanna get a head, I hold up.
So my favorite thing to do is just chill
and watch my movies and TV shows and relax.
Do you like, do you cook?
I do.
What you be cooking?
Ox tails. You cook be cooking? I cook.
You cook ice nails?
Yeah, you know what I'm saying?

I cook my own shit,
because bitches can't cook shit.

Hell no.
Hell no.
Well that was firm.
Well you said it.
I'm gonna just take care of her as long as my kid
is good but I'm not going home.

It is though, that might for good.
Y'all don't think it's something, it's another part of a meat.

I don't think it is one no more.
I think they get it.
That was smooth how you put it back in that pocket.
Yeah, I think they get it now.
Well you got two lines in that moment.
No, just one.
Just one.
I left a drink at the spot, so I don't ride with too much of it,
because it was hot last night.
Word was so high, I was mad, because I brought all my drink
and all my pills with me.
But then I had some on me.
I walk in the store, I said, police.
I said, damn, I wouldn't be mad about shit with my drink
and my shots,
and they gon' take my drink from me.
We live and they ain't fuck with us.
But today, I said, you know what,
let me put a line in a line,
and get two bottles,
and ride with maybe five people instead of 30 or 20.
And just go back and get it,
because everything around here,
five minutes away from everything.
I can't even go for a drive. I can't even go for a drive.
I can't even go for a drive.
I won't go for a drive.
Everything around the corner, I don't got no chance to play no music.
As soon as you put something on, you pull it up.
You got to take a ride.
This nation arrived.
You can have way through the song just a little.
Cap, you ain't took it to the South Side.
That's the ride, Cap.

Y'all shouldn't video.
You said a word?
You said?
It's my partner. All my friends, man.
Yeah, I never heard you say it.
I never heard him say it though.
So now I feel like I'm a little wrong for saying it.
You ain't wrong.
I'm not gonna stop. I'm just saying I feel like I'm a little wrong.
Oh God.
Man. Yes.
It's really, man, I am gonna tell you this story that just, I know my people not going
to fuck with me if I say it, fool.
Just leave out the parts that are questionable.
They're fucking with you.
I'm talking about my Mexican people.
Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, nah, don't do it.
Yeah, they love me.
Yeah, yeah, don't do it.
You know what, I'm going to be honest and tell you, bro.
Go ahead.
This is what it was, dawg.
It was just that one school of these Mexicans didn't like me, fool.
Why?
Because I tried to fight one Mexican dude and it was dog. It was just that one school, these Mexicans didn't like me, you know.
Because I tried to fight one Mexican dude
and just so happy, he just so happy to be cool with
all the Mexicans in the school, you know.
Why did y'all get into it?
Man, I don't remember, he just said something
and I was trying to just like, just, just, just.
Be cool?
No, I didn't say hell no
I said what you want to do
I think he was trained
So out
I just he would have whipped my ass
At the time
You know cause I ain't really
Like a professional
That's what they did
That's what they did
All of them they were like they Boxing classes and everything is just what they did. So you're saying, well, maybe they'll take inside of you. That's what they did. Like all of them, they were like they,
boxing classes and everything,
it's just what they did.
You know, at the time I was so mad,
I didn't want to give a fuck
to people for what they came up that way.
He just said something disrespectful
and I'm like, man, what's up?
And then the girl like,
don't do it, don't do it.
Like, he ain't worth it, he ain't worth it.
I like, I ain't gonna lie,
a couple days later I thought about it,
I said, wait, she was talking about it ain't worth it, it ain't worth it. Like I ain't gonna lie, a couple days later, I thought about it and said, wait, she was talking about it ain't worth it,
it ain't worth it, she probably knew, you know what I'm saying?
But he wasn't, you was just chilling.
Next thing you know, what the next day,
he must have told all the Mexican people,
and then like the day after that,
it was a Mexican versus Black fight, and you know.
I just so happened to be cool with all the Black people,
you know what I'm saying?
And I was on the wrong side of things
But if you ask me, it was the right
Right side. Oh, so you roll with you roll with them. They rolled you you roll with your niggas
No, yeah
Yeah, so you from there they all you had to pick your side. They say
It's me out for no reason.
I tried to fight one person, they want to jump.
I feel like you said I'm in the bank and I'm going to fuck with me.
I fuck with who fucks with me.
Yeah, I fuck with who fucks with me.
That's it.
You fucks with me, I fuck with you.
That's how it is.
That's how it is. It's out of here
Well, I really enjoyed this interview
It's the funny shit I did
Yes, man, I'm through with this. Right.
I'm in the cow tails and that shit.
Oh yeah.
I went vegan about two months.
How you feel?
I was great.
I was fertile.
That when you had your kid?
Hell nah.
That's when I almost had a kid.
Bitch had a miscarriage.
She probably wasn't healthy.
I was straight.
You know what I'm saying?
You know what's crazy about it?
You believe in God.
For sure. You know what I'm saying?
You know what's crazy about it?
You believe in God.
You know what's crazy about that story is,
I was drained, I was depressed as hell.
I don't even know how.
I don't even know what the fuck drove me to that moment
where I just couldn't get up one day.
It was one day I couldn't get up, I couldn't move.
I walked up on the couch when that just couldn't get up one day. It was one day I couldn't get up, like I couldn't move. I woke up on the couch when that just couldn't move.
And matter of fact, this is what happened.
I was driving one day and I don't know what the fuck
was bothering me and I just started crying about some shit.
I said, what the fuck is you crying about?
What you crying about?
I'm telling myself, what the fuck is you driving?
You good, you alive.
What did you worry about?
And I'm speeding and I'm this thing,
you know I find myself at my mama's house
about three in the morning, I go knock on her door.
Matter of fact, the door's unlocked.
I go bust in her, she sleep with her husband in the room,
I go bust in the room, mom.
I don't know what it is, I can't feel better,
I just can't feel good, I'm hurt,
but I don't know what, I can't stop feeling this way.
I tried, I tried, I'm telling you, I'm trying, it just won't leave, you know what I'm hurt, I don't know what, I can't stop feeling this way. I tried, I tried, I tried. I'm telling you, I'm trying, it just won't leave.
You know what I'm saying?
It's just not leaving, I don't know what it is.
It just won't let me be, you know?
And, um,
it was like a couple days later, I had to stay at her house,
cause I was like, man, I can't even,
I was laying on the couch, and, uh, it was about February, February 3rd, or some shit like that, I was laying on the couch. And it was about February, February 3rd,
some shit like that.
I was laying on the couch.
And the morning I woke up, I couldn't move,
so I had to slide off the couch.
You know what I'm saying?
I slid off the couch.
And I pulled myself back up on the couch,
and I got in praying position.
And I was praying for like 15, 20 minutes,
just saying the same thing over and over again.
20 minutes just saying the same thing over and over again.
Basically,
from now I know I can't do this alone. God, I let you take control.
I forgot exactly what I said here,
but there was something along those lines.
I let you take control now for now,
and now I can't do it alone.
Just, you know, saying the same thing
for about 15, 20 minutes, but towards the end,
I started feeling better, and I said,
I was just right there, I couldn't move while praying,
I couldn't move from the praying position,
I couldn't even, my body was weak, you know what I'm saying?
And towards the end, I just started getting stronger
and then my breath started to come back
and then my body stopped hurting.
I wasn't on drugs at the time, so I wasn't drugs.
It was actually me, just my body was, I was tired.
My head was, I'm tired of everything.
And towards the end of the prayer, it was like,
I could stand up and I smiled, took a deep breath in,
I said I looked outside, I seen the sign.
I went over there, I pulled a chair and put it in the middle
of the sign in the yard, in the backyard,
and I just sat there.
Well, we ain't got a gym membership, but an hour later,
and for about two months before I just know me,
know nothing, just gym, see malls, froo. I've been here for about two months where I just know me.
See my fruit.
Teeth, everything. So, what
made you go back? I got COVID
and I wanted to see if I could
taste the hot wing. That was the
nastiest **** ever, boy. Oh my god. Oh, you saying you got covin you want to see if you taste
was man bro fuck the texture was so mad cuz I dipped it in ranch I got the
hottest wings they got in ranch I said I'm gonna try it fuck it cuz you know

It was just, I don't know, like you get the animal
straight out, you know what I'm saying?
Bit of a little ass, you know what I'm saying?
To our peace, I got the bite.
But for you knowing, let me ask you something.
And we don't take it to no health shit,
but for you knowing that you felt better
why you didn't just stick to that shit or go back to it?
I wanted some hot wings.
Hey, man, I wanted some hot wings,
but I ain't gonna answer.
I said, man, I know if I could taste this bitch,
it would be good, man. Next thing you know, I know if I could taste this, it would be good.
Next thing you know, I got some.
