Starting point is 00:02:48 It's time for Big Facts. What up, Big Bank. What up, Baby J. DJ Scream. I'm here, G. Herbo on Big Fax today. What up? What up, what up, what up. Let's go, Herbert. What's up, what's up with it?
Starting point is 00:02:59 Man, first I got to ask you, man, what, what, what, what got into you in 2025? Because we woke up and you went to work. I'm talking about you on your, what, third, fourth album? Yeah, I'm about to drop again on the seven. Yeah. Yeah, 11-7. What got into you? What motivated you?
Starting point is 00:03:14 Bro, it was really, honestly, like, you know how they say, like proper preparation, like prevent poor performance. The whole 20, 23 and 24, I was just trying to get, like, my business affairs in order, and just, like, that motivated me with, like, when I'm, when I'm able to drop frequently how I can, I ain't going to let up. Because I've always been, like, a super, like, workhorse, like, in the studio, like, putting in, like, hours and hours. Like, I have 16, 18 hour days in the studio, like, record.
Starting point is 00:03:45 I record a lot of music. And I felt like at that time, when I couldn't release it how I wanted to, it, like, let a fire inside me. Like, man, as soon as I get it right, I'm just going to drop. I'm going to flood this, but I don't even care. And as soon as, like, the moment I was able to drop a project, I dropped, like, two back to back. And I was really, like, awesome.
Starting point is 00:04:07 Just trying to, like, kind of, like, heat back up and just see what the streets was feeling for real. You know what I'm saying? Like, just testing and be like, all right, but if they rocking right now, you know what I'm saying? Because I know I got a, like, a core audience, but I'm just saying, like, you know, music and what it is, it change up so much, you know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:04:25 Yeah, so it's like, all right, but if I drop and it should do what I think is going to do, I'm going to just keep releasing, bro, when they've been working for me. So do you think that, like, that blockage from having to deal with the label and trying to get your business affairs in order and not being able to drop when you wanted to, do you think that for the average artists, that could discourage them from wanting to do music at all? Definitely, most definitely, for sure. And it's like, that's why you got to, and I'll be trying to say it as much as possible, man.
Starting point is 00:04:55 You, even when you, like, at a standstill or stagnant for you, it's like, you got to, like, got to just see it through. You just got to keep pushing. Especially, like, if you're an artist and it's your passion, like, I will never tell. I don't care how ugly it get. I'm not going to never, like, advise nobody to quit, you know what I'm saying? Right. Because you will want to. I didn't want it to before.
Starting point is 00:05:14 Like, I didn't really want to be like, man, fuck this shit, you know, but I ain't going to lie. It's like, I feel like that little time, that a period of time, that year and a half, for real, when I was really, like, and I don't even. think it was really all the way where it's like I couldn't drop music you feel I just couldn't do it how I wanted to you know what I'm saying at the pace that I wanted to so I just felt like all right but I'm gonna get it in order where it's like I'm gonna have full control like you know I can take advantage the way I want to so when I did that that's what like you know like just made me feel like all right but like you will lose your confidence what I'm saying like you know like basically what you're saying as
Starting point is 00:05:49 artists you'll lose your confidence but you just got to just just push through that shit just keep on then you would get it back though you know it'll come back to you yeah what path you think you on right you know it's different paths we take while we're on our journey what path you think you on right now man really it's like for me I got a point to prove still like you know what I'm saying like I feel like I had a little chip on my shoulder like going through all this shit and right now I say my path is really like I'm trying to end this the first time my career I'm about to be 100% fully independent where it's like I got full control or everything that I'm doing after I dropped
Starting point is 00:06:23 this project. So it's like, we're having that. I want to, like, I need to go on a crazy one where it's like, and I ain't trying to say it, like, sound cliche or nothing like that, but it's like, I feel like it's still a lot of respect in the industry, like, that I got to earn, you know what I'm saying? Like, so that's what I'm trying to do. Like, I'm trying to get to a point where it's like, everybody knows, like, all right, but now, he, he don't want. Like, what about your life pad, though? My life path, really, man. I don't, I'm, I'm going to be honest with you. And I ain't, I ain't even, no, like, no funny shit. Like, I got. When I see, like, when y'all be doing the walks and shit, like, y'all don't y'all help this shit, like, that'd be motivated.
Starting point is 00:06:59 You know you put it up. Yeah, for sure. I'm going to pull in, yeah, I'm going to pull in for sure, because I've been trying to, like, that's my real, like, my next, I feel like my next chapter in life on this type of journey, like, I want to really, like, get my mind and my body together, you know, like, really get healthy, yeah, yeah, like, exactly, because, like, I'll be, like, you know how you move so fast, you're working, it's like, you, you disregard a lot, but it's like, man, I just turn 30, and it's like, you know, when you get a certain age, it's like, she just click, like, man, I got to start, yeah, yeah, yeah, but I feel, Like, I just got to, like, you know, just be the best version of myself, is what I'm saying. Like, you know, because that shit, it'll pass you back. You would be young, and it's like, nigga, having fun, drinking and they're doing this shit. Like, no, I want to get myself all the way. Yeah, exactly.
Starting point is 00:07:44 So, you know what come with choosing you, though, right? Shit. Yeah, it got to be a little selfish. It's like, you lose a lot along the way, too, doing that, for sure. So how you, how you, how you, how you prepare for that? Yeah, yeah, I'm trying, for real, for real, because it's like, and I think it's just my personality, like, just me. being such a loyal person you feel i'm saying where it's like you just got to make the tough decisions you know everybody ain't really built for this shit you feel i'm saying like making the tough
Starting point is 00:08:09 decisions where it's like man i gotta have discipline and you know like when having discipline you do lose a lot along the way and i know my you know i you know yourself like you know i'm saying that's one of the things that i got to work on just having this one because you will have like all the resources that should have come to you so easy where you feel like you ain't even got to have the discipline that you really should to be the best version of myself but i feel like i got owe it to myself and I owe it to my kid. You know what I'm doing it. Yeah. And speaking of like, you know,
Starting point is 00:08:36 owing it to yourself and your kids and getting your mind and your body and everything together and having to leave some shit behind. Like you said in an earlier interview basically how like long story short, you were done with the hood shit. And there was a lot of controversy about that and a lot
Starting point is 00:08:53 of people presumably took it the wrong way because they felt like you were saying it as if you were like turning your back on your people but I want you to just kind of elaborate a little bit more like after the comment about what you meant by that so that people can understand like the full scope of what you were talking about. It's really like what I meant was I never like ever in my life like forget why I come from or turn my back on my people you from saying but it's like when you get to a certain point
Starting point is 00:09:22 in your life is like damn why would you want to be on a dumb shit anyway you know what I'm saying like or still on the same shit that you're on the same shit and not elevating you feel me so But that's what I meant by that, like, just leaving the street shit behind where it's like, because I'm going to be honest, like, all my life I was in the streets. I've been a street nigga my entire life. And it's like that shit put you in a certain mindset where you feel like you got to do this and behave a certain way. You know, I'm saying. Where it's like, I really just want to focus on being an artist and a father. Like, I don't care about the street dude image or the shit that come with the streets.
Starting point is 00:09:53 Like, that's what I mean. Like, I'm cutting tabs from all that shit where it's just like, I don't, I shouldn't have to focus on nothing but getting money and taking care of my family. I shouldn't have to focus on those street shit or no dump shit or trying to help niggas out and bring them to where I'm at you for I'm saying because I've been doing it for 15 years I've been taking care of niggas paying niggas bonds paying for funerals like you feel I'm saying I want to get to a point where it's like they don't want to do that shit no more either because when you really in this shit don't know to come with that shit but death or jail you for I'm saying like or like even get to the point where like bonds and
Starting point is 00:10:24 funerals aren't even in the universe that you guys are like revolving in type of shit Like you got a, you got to have that type of mindset and how that energy like in your life and around you where it's like, nigga don't want to be on the goofy shit no more because I'm just being a hundred like staying outside in my hood. My shit is dangerous. You're going to get shot at your ass going to die being out there. Right, right. You know what I'm saying. It ain't.
Starting point is 00:10:46 Who I'm saying? That shit is going to keep on history repeat itself. You feel me? In my hood, been like that for 50 years. Why do you think it's so much of a, and all y'all can answer this, why y'all think it's so much of a badge or honor for a nigga to feel like I'm a street niggins shit I'm still in my hood I'm still standing out here like I feel like because back in the day like being a street nigga like really stood for something yeah and it really meant like it really meant something like that was
Starting point is 00:11:15 honorable now the shit ain't honorable no more so it's like the shit don't even matter for real so it's not that big of a deal like whoopty do but you got to think like the older the generation, like, I feel like everything changed. This shit all watered down now. You know what I'm saying? Back. Back then, street niggas kind of was
Starting point is 00:11:34 honorable. I ain't going to say kind of because they was doing honorable shit. There's a lot of ass niggas too, though. You know what I mean? It's going to always be ho-ass niggas in this shit. There's a lot of shit going on. It was a lot of shit just magnified for the generation
Starting point is 00:11:44 because y'all niggas on camera. Mm-hmm. Exactly. That's the difference. It's been ho-ass, nigga, doing a whole-ass shit. Right. It just magnified now because it's like this. Ring cameras out.
Starting point is 00:11:55 You know what I'm like? hell yeah it's like what I'm saying these cameras yeah you had niggas that really had morals and shit and took kids like the people that was like the people who that was praised in the hood that'll make you grow up like a little kid you would grow up and want to be a street nigga because you want
Starting point is 00:12:09 to be like him because you see this nigga taking care everybody he taking care his family he do solid shit he keep kids out the way you know niggas used to go to the hood games the football games oh yeah you just go $30 you $500 like that'll make a nigga want to stay in school and the real street niggas
Starting point is 00:12:25 The storage the whole shit Exactly No real shit But you're all right What y'all saying Correct you know How back then they're day Yeah
Starting point is 00:12:31 It was a lot But you gotta think For every real nigga With 10 fuck nigga Yeah Yeah but But I'm saying They were breaking in that
Starting point is 00:12:37 nigga shit Right Yeah but it's like They were doing A little whole shit Telling on him It'd be a nigga You know told on
Starting point is 00:12:42 We watch this nigga Take out of the whole hood But let's such A to told on him But it's like The whole niggas The whole nigs was so far behind It wasn't on Instagram
Starting point is 00:12:50 It wasn't being It wasn't being recorded That's it Yeah and it was like The whole niggas didn't even the whole niggas got shunned like yeah it was it was even though it was 10 whole niggas you would have never known it it was so many of them because the hood didn't respect it so they didn't fucking they didn't you know what I'm saying like bringing any light
Starting point is 00:13:06 to that shit what niggas know you're a uh a slimy snake ass name like get out of here like they still let you come back outside yeah do shit you still outside you still tough all type of shit like I see this shit in my own ass all the time you feel me like so you're right a lot of time that shit was frowned upon where it's like has frown upon but like no shit ain't my business they ain't tell on me oh no that's a new rule yeah like if you if you if you if you're the nigger they're trying to be the street referee you's a hater right if you're a nigga that call the shit for whatever it is like and i had to get this like my kid's a little man to tell me like bro you ain't you ain't got to be
Starting point is 00:13:45 the nigga to tell a nigga when they're wrong you need to know they wrong you got to get out this shit long time i'm like you're right all you doing making a nigga that don't want to be wrong Mad as you Mad as you Now you know what I'm saying He's getting ruined before you And spread man That nigga back I hate him man
Starting point is 00:13:59 Yeah Because you told the nigga the truth But that shit That was just my whole shit The real truth I want a nigga to tell me that Bro me like Damn for real
Starting point is 00:14:07 That's why you I ain't gonna lie All the time I know you And like That's why you always hear my respect Because you like You always call shit out You know what I'm saying
Starting point is 00:14:17 It's like I just you know how you just See how a nigga move Like no bro moved On real principle Immoral That's what I always always respected about you.
Starting point is 00:14:24 I appreciate that, but it's not respected. It's your respectable nigger. Right. Like most, the world feels like, there's like so much shit goes on, bro. A lot of, a lot of shit, niggas be saying be right, but you can't even like it. Yeah. Like, a lot of, a lot of shit that diggas be saying, Robbie, want to repost this shit. But you can't really like it or come in.
Starting point is 00:14:44 Yeah. Because it's a nigga, you might offend a nigger. Yeah, for sure. There's like, a lot of niggas do, like, especially in the industry and the shit that we in, this shit big. But it's small. And a lot of times niggas be like playing puppet matches and pulling strings behind the scene that you don't even know they're doing.
Starting point is 00:14:59 Like stopping you from getting in certain rules and all type of shit. They go to room before you. They're going to introduce you before you even get introduced yourself. But they introduce you as a fuck, nigga. Okay. You get what I'm saying? Nigg is going to room before you. No bullshit.
Starting point is 00:15:13 And a nigga won't even try to get to know you because they scared. You know what I'm saying? Go against the fuck nigga. Like. That's what I'm saying. That shit fucked up. That's why I never judge a nigga. for what he did to another nigga.
Starting point is 00:15:25 It could have been a reaction. Yeah. No, what you did to make him do that? I don't know. I can only judge y'all my interaction with you. Like, niggas say, whatever they want to say by her. Like, man, you know, that nigga be, you know, he never did that around me or to me.
Starting point is 00:15:40 Yeah. I don't know why he, I don't did bullshit the niggas. I learned that too, though. I'm going to say some other shit even like that. Like, when you don't treat niggas like that, like I'm not from the treating a nigga a certain way because you said it. And then you started to see one. It was like, all right, but not in getting a nigga, the benefit of the doubt, just, like, evil and equal in the playing field, you know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:15:58 The nigga who said some shit, you got to see how they reaction is to you being around him, because, you know what I'm saying, to a nigga, like, then you would see this nigga colors. Like, his flow will come out, and this will probably really be your dog, for real, you know what I'm saying? I started doing that, and I started, like, it kind of was like a blessing because, like, fuck, niggas stop being around me for real, like, no bullshit. No, for real, that how that shit go, bro, nigger tried to try to persuade. that's the whole shit in the world persuade your opinion about me to another nigga if I got a problem with a nigga
Starting point is 00:16:28 I just got a problem with you I ain't finish to go try to get no crew because I feel like I'm mad enough to hell to you by my motherfucker fucking self I ain't got to make Jade mad at you or this person mad at you you're calling me like bro how you feel about
Starting point is 00:16:37 man get your money nigga I ain't the nigga so don't fuck with him that's the lame shit in the world that's do that shit but it's like niggas like us
Starting point is 00:16:45 that shit it gets done to you a lot though and that'd be like other niggas insecurity where it's like where you really a threat to him or his manhood or some shit he's doing. Like, me and both
Starting point is 00:16:56 of you could be great. We could do the same thing and both be good as fuck at it. Like, nigger or not want you to be around because he think you're going to take his spot or take his position when it's like, no, we really could put this shit together and be better. Like what he doing is he being you when you ain't around. He remixing you. See, you got niggas that
Starting point is 00:17:12 have a nigger that's doing the same thing as them, but they'll study you. Mm-hmm. And study you, hate on you, and going to rooms and introduce you without you even knowing But I'm being kind of what I think you would do. Y'all ain't see that? Hell yeah.
Starting point is 00:17:28 You need to use your same image, your same everything. A whole swag. A whole swag, but in their way. Like, but basically what I'm saying is a nigga hate on you that you inspire. Right. That's what the hate really be for real, like, for sure. They'll take your whole shit and try to beat you to the punch and be you inside of another nigger to a whole bunch of other niggas.
Starting point is 00:17:49 Like, niggas be sending me shit like, bro, didn't you say it before? I was like, bro, that's what. what I'm saying this shit to inspire niggas so I don't get if a nigger
Starting point is 00:17:56 say some shit like I said before but in a way I ain't mad at that because we all got knowledge
Starting point is 00:18:03 from so well imitation is the best form of flattery thank you brother that means every
Starting point is 00:18:09 I'm going up but don't go in a room and be like no no yeah you squeeze my nuts
Starting point is 00:18:16 yeah yeah that when it turned yeah like what the hell you want to you're on you on me you on me You don't want me to get in with the shit that's inspiring you?
Starting point is 00:18:25 Like, use me to get to where you need to be, but goddamn, don't. Being a real nigga, it's like, man, I always say that shit like, well, you don't get no a war show for this shit, no, bro. You just got to be you. You just got to just do that shit. Like, I'm blessed to say, like, I ain't never, like, block nobody from doing shit, like, ever spread and no, like, false narrative or talked about a nigga behind their back or a nigga I love or stop, you know, because that shit, that shit happened to me a lot,
Starting point is 00:18:48 and that shit really do be hurt my feelings for real, no bullshit. Man, what? Yeah, dude, because, like, damn, I wouldn't never do that, bro. Like, I ain't never did that shit before ending to be people that you fuck with. It's like, sometimes you got to like just see that shit for what it is and don't even like, it takes a lot to not even had an energy to address the shit. Yeah. You know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:19:10 Like, I say it's a real shit. You got to take the shit for what it is because the only thing you get mad at a person for doing some shit that you wouldn't do to them. Yep. Right. You know what I'm saying? So you got to understand that people are not you. Like, I give people a chance.
Starting point is 00:19:22 Dude, how long have you been to, but just, just know that I ain't going to fuck with you ever again. In light. I ain't in my feeling about it. I bred out with your chance. Like, back in the day when I had work, it's certain things, I gave shit too so they can fuck up. I know, you ask a nigga, bro, you ain't even got a, got a zip customer. Ask you what you're saying, you want to get some money. Show what you want.
Starting point is 00:19:41 Right. I need a bag. Yeah. He ain't got a Graham cousin. Okay. You go to your bag. I just bought your friendship away from me. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:19:48 Because I know you fit to fuck this bag up. Right. I can stand it. No bullshit. You know, you can't add me for shit else, buddy. But we're cool. I see, yeah, boy, I ain't mad about that. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:19:57 I see him my big brother do that shit a lot of times. Man, how you do that shit? Niggas on the prod of looking like, damn what he did. Nikes, bro, watching it right now. I don't mind that you fuck up once a thing. Yeah, yeah, for sure. But if you don't, because there's been some nigga that didn't fuck up and shot me like, no, he wanted some money. Right.
Starting point is 00:20:14 You know what I'm saying? But if you fuck up, I ain't tripping. Come on down. I can't give you something that I can't stand. If I can't stand, I wouldn't give it to you. Right. Now, but a nigga, it's all depends on how a nigga played. But I know a nigga gonna fuck it up.
Starting point is 00:20:26 He ain't got no story for him and like, bro, I fucked it up. But a nigga got down just acting like, you're gonna talk something. Now, that's a different ball game. You know them soft stories, I can forget them. Yeah, no, for sure. Like, bro, I hit the most of a hell. Like, they're really trying to dare to do right, but just like fucked up. Yeah, it ain't in them.
Starting point is 00:20:41 Yeah, it's got them a lot. You got a lot of people like that. Like, you love them. Like, damn, man, this nigga really can't get right. Yeah. I know people like that. I know people like. But I can't just mind them.
Starting point is 00:20:49 up and you're trying to act like you took it and you're tough? Don't be tough about my shit. Yo, buddy, don't do that. They don't fuck them now. I'll give them that bill a $12 for shit, but don't do that. No, boys. Taking a motherfucker. Some people got like, I ain't going to lie, it's real.
Starting point is 00:21:07 I had to learn that shit too when I got older. Certain people, I feel like they got like a sickness. Like, well, you really just like, it's like they really don't even like had a mental capacity to know that they're doing some. fuck shit, but that shit just really naturally. That's where I was trying to get around to you. Get around to knowing like you, like you said, she'd be heard of your feeling.
Starting point is 00:21:27 No, bro, it's something wrong with you. Everybody that do something mean, and I'd be like, it's something wrong with you because I would have been a good friend to you. Right. You know what I'm saying? So I ain't mad. It's just something wrong with you, but you wouldn't recognize I love. I learned that. Like, I was something, because me, I ain't going to laugh. Some shit on my brain where I feel like
Starting point is 00:21:43 I did some shit. I'm, as a man, I learned like accountability is important. Just being having enough. And you to be like, damn, bro, I did some fuck shit, but my bad. You know what I'm saying? You feeling like you did some fuck shit, but you really, like, all the way didn't because you're not eating a fuck, nigga, any character. But it's like, I did some shit.
Starting point is 00:22:00 I feel like, I should apologize to you for. No, real shit. I do that. You know what I'm saying? You feel me. It's honorable. I do that. Other niggas just, I feel like don't even understand enough to be able to do that.
Starting point is 00:22:10 Like, never feel like they wrong ever about shit. Oh, that's the worst kind of a nigga. The niggum. The niggum. Everybody did some of you. No bullshit. Like, I know. I don't did shit to niggas.
Starting point is 00:22:20 Niggas done did shit to me. I ain't trick me. I'm by gunby, by the band to the fan. I'm dead-ass in the fan. I'm dead-ass. It's cool. But I'm moving past.
Starting point is 00:22:28 I ain't fin to get stuck there. Right. I ain't going to be the nigga at like, but he ain't going to be. No, he probably did it because I said that or I told him his whole fucking or whatever. Yeah. You know, you tell a nigga certain shit, bro. You're being real like.
Starting point is 00:22:40 Certain shit on, bro. Whatever you're trying to like, bro. You got to watch that shit because you're going to try to tell a nigger some righteous shit. You're a real friend. A real friend And you're trying to do some Righteous shit And you will really lose
Starting point is 00:22:49 A motherfucker behind it Because they just don't Want you to tell them The right of shit A real free A little bit A type of shit That's what I like
Starting point is 00:22:56 Bro Because some people can't take the truth Like say this I'd have told Niggas real shit The friends should tell Nigel like hey bro The truth
Starting point is 00:23:05 Nia get with the bitch She tell them I'm lying And now I'm a fuck Nick He believes no bro No bro I just saw this bitch
Starting point is 00:23:14 And I talk to bro This man He said she's blowjob bedded. Okay. You want me to call him? Yeah. No, bro, fuck that he needs to be hay.
Starting point is 00:23:23 Now, now I'm going to fuck, nigger. Yeah. Because you thinking, I'm going to tell the word that you would blow job. No, bro, I'm telling you, you're my man. Yeah. I ain't got to tell nobody. If you're going to be able to cool, your secret is cool with me. I'll just like what you got.
Starting point is 00:23:36 Yeah. That nigga don't even want to come around you no more. No, that's old with it. I'm fucking me. You're too real. You're going to come around you because you still with the bit. Loki and you know it. Deep down inside, you, you,
Starting point is 00:23:46 really know she liked you. You just want to be in the now. You don't want me to know. You don't want nobody else to know. Exactly. He's fucked up about it. I didn't seen that shit. I didn't dead it too, bro. I ain't know why. Like, I didn't told a nigga shit. And like, you would fall out with a nigga about telling him some real. Even telling the nigga he's wrong.
Starting point is 00:24:06 What do you get when you mix 1950s Hollywood, a Cuban musician with a dream, and one of the most iconic sitcoms of all time? You get Desi Arness. A trailblazer, a businessman, a husband, and maybe most importantly, the first Latino to break primetime wide open. I'm Wilmer Valderrama, and yes, I grew up watching him, probably just like you and millions of others. But for me, I saw myself in his story. From planning canary cages to this night here in New York, it's a long ways.
Starting point is 00:24:34 On the podcast starring Desi Arnaz and Wilmer Valderrama, I'll take you in a journey to Desi's life. The moments it has overlap with mine, how he redefined American television, and what that meant for all of us, of us watching from the sidelines, waiting for a face like hours on screen. This is the story of how one man's spotlight lit the path for so many others and how we carry his legacy today. Listen to starring Desi Arnaz and Wilmer Valderrama. Starting point is 00:25:16 sir. And like a lot of guys, I haven't been to the doctor in many years. I'll be asking the questions we probably should be asking, but aren't. Because guys usually don't go to the doctor unless a piece of their face is hanging off or they've broken a bone. Depends which bone. Well, that's true. Every week, we're breaking down the unique world of men's health, from testosterone and fitness to diets and fertility and things that happen in the bedroom. You mean sleep? Yeah, something like that, Jordan. We'll talk science without the jargon and get you real answers to the stuff you actually wonder about. It's going to be fun, whether you're 27, 97, or somewhere in between. Men's Health is about more than six packs and supplements. It's about energy,

I want to tell you about my new podcast called Not My Best Moment, where I talk to artists, athletes, entertainers, creators, friends, people I admire who had massive success about their massive failures. What did they mess up on? What is their heartbreak? And what did they learn from it? I got judged horribly. The judges were like, you're trash. I don't know how you got on the show.
Starting point is 00:26:34 Boo, somebody had tomatoes. I'm kidding. But if they had tomatoes, they would have thrown the tomatoes. Let's be honest. We've all had those moments we'd rather forget. get we bumped our head. We made a mistake. The deal fell through. We're embarrassed. We failed. But this podcast is about that and how we made it through. So when they sat me down, they were kind of like, we got into the small talk and they were just like, so what do you got? What? What? What ideas? And I was like, oh, no. What? Check out not my best moment with me, Kevin on stage on the Iheart radio app, Apple podcast, YouTube, or wherever you get your podcast. The force is shaping the world's economies and financial markets.
Starting point is 00:27:12 can be hard to spot. Even though they are such a powerful player in finance, you wouldn't really know that you are interacting with them. And even harder to understand. Donald Trump's trade war, 2.0, is only accelerating the process of de-dollarization, which in a way is jargon for people turning away from the dollar. That is where the big take from Bloomberg podcast comes in,
Starting point is 00:27:36 to connect the dots. How unusual is a deal like this? Unprecedented. Every weekday afternoon, we dive deep. into one big global business story. The biggest story of the reaction of the oil market to the conflict in the Middle East is one of what has not happened.
Starting point is 00:27:52 Katie, you told me that ETFs are your favorite thing. They are. Explain that. Why is that the case? And unpack what it means for you. Our breakfast foods are consistent consumer staples, and so they sort of become outsized indicators of inflation. Listen to the big take from Bloomberg News every weekday afternoon.
Starting point is 00:28:10 On the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts or wherever you get your podcasts. I'm Robert Smith, and this is Jacob Goldstein, and we used to host a show called Planet Money. And now we're back making this new podcast called Business History about the best ideas and people and businesses in history. And some of the worst people, horrible ideas, and destructive companies in the history of business.
Starting point is 00:28:37 Having a genius idea without a need for it is nothing. It's like not having it. Well, it's a very simple, elegant lesson. Make something people want. First episode, how Southwest Airlines use cheap seats and free whiskey to fight its way into the airline business. The most Texas story ever. There's a lot of mavericks in that story. We're going to have mavericks on the show.
Starting point is 00:28:58 We're going to have plenty of robber barons. So many robber barons. And you know what? They're not all bad. And we'll talk about some of the classic great moments of famous business geniuses, along with some of the darker moments that often get overlooked. Like Thomas Edison and the electric chair. Listen to business history on the IHeart radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast.
Starting point is 00:29:21 That's why people don't call me when they into it with niggas. Because the first thing I asked you, what you did. What you did? I get what you saying he did. What you did. So he said all that and you ain't said, man. Right. You know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:29:35 Like all this shit, he just woke up and chose you. Like people hate talking to me because I'm trying to get to. If you're going to ask the right question, you're going to get to the bottom of that show. You know who else like that, though? Savage like that, though. He liked that for sure. And he ain't gonna let it. If he feels like something,
Starting point is 00:29:48 but he ain't like with that thud shit. Yeah. But he ain't let up off with him. You know what I first said, oh, boy, I thought about you. Oh, by y'all. It's always shit. You some bullshit.
Starting point is 00:29:56 Yeah. That nigger called me every day to, I, damn the gal in the forest line. Like, man, you can't hear your brother. You can't Jay, you, yeah, yeah. You ain't listened to. You got to listen. I'll call Jay in everybody.
Starting point is 00:30:08 See? That nigga always. been like, he's got a motherfucker's seeing this shit. He's done. But that nigga,
Starting point is 00:30:17 a little man, but he be with you, he wish. I'm gonna get him. I'm gonna crash and burn with you. I mean, I always been like that
Starting point is 00:30:23 though. Like, just like, just how you really ask the right question to get to the bottom of shit because, like, you were fuck with a nigga, like a nigga of being your man's
Starting point is 00:30:30 and he telling you the story, you're really not asking the questions because you're just like, I'm on whatever he on. Yeah. But you got to ask the questions to tell a nigga if they wrong too
Starting point is 00:30:37 because you would get into some bullshit because your homie just feeling in certain ways. Like, you gotta, like, no, hell, you probably shouldn't do it like that. You probably should have did it like this. You know what I'm saying? Like, bro, one of them type of niggas. You got to. Yeah. I've been on that shit forever. Like, we get, like, we're fake, beefing back in the day with all these rapping me. I'm like, bro, these niggins ain't really dead.
Starting point is 00:30:55 We just hating on them, right? But don't try to make up a false narrative like these niggins. You're talking about a nigga ain't really dead. We just hate no. We don't say fuck them as cool. I'm still with you. Fuck these nests. But I need to know for real. Yeah. Let's make sure. Because he dick ain't dead. shit yeah I'm here so y'all you know as as the shit go on they go to make enough story what a nigga I did yep just to make you so believe like it's like is this fucking baseless or does this fucking have substance yeah it don't right no
Starting point is 00:31:22 substance a lot of this shit don't boy I didn't seen it well I didn't that's why I be feeling like I know I'm young but I just feel like I'd have been through so much shit and earlier like you know what I'm saying like I was like living like a grown man when I'm 15 years old, you know what I'm like really having responsibility, paying bills, doing all type of shit, you know what I'm saying, 15, 16 years old. Okay. We saw you, it's like, yeah, that shit, that shit comes with a lot, though, bro. You know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:31:50 Then it's like, you ain't going to mention it because deep down, you feel like, all right, but God then put me in this position, I feel like this is my role. Like, this is what I'm supposed to do, you feel me? But you would take on a lot because everybody just be like, you, you're the one. Now, I ain't just taking care of my household. I'm taking care of this household, this household, this, you know what I'm saying? saying this nigga, all this shit. And it's like, you do it and you don't tell nobody.
Starting point is 00:32:12 I ain't saying nothing about it. You know what I'm saying? Because I don't want no credit for it. And then it's like, damn, the one thing you do or one thing you might do that don't, like, like, that'll upset somebody who's what I'm saying like that. They don't like, they just say, fuck you, you feel, me. Like I had to get to a point where it's like doing that, you learn like, bro. You like, like you said in the beginning of the interview, like, bro, you just got
Starting point is 00:32:33 a damn to really choose yourself for real. Yeah, everybody that's with you, that fuck with you, they have come along. you know what I'm saying but it's like you can't just be a real nigga like no I want to and don't get me wrong I want to see everybody win but it's like you just want to help this person
Starting point is 00:32:45 even if you want to help somebody sometimes you just can't do that shit yeah because you're going to be empty I can't wait to say no nah I ain't on time complete sending no fuck how you feel that shit feel better
Starting point is 00:32:56 it's a release yeah do you think you do you think by you basically denouncing the street niggas shit that that keeps you from being responsible for another nigga attitude yeah what I'm saying
Starting point is 00:33:07 That's my best thing. Like, I can't respond for no other nigger attitude. Nobody. If they said that out of their mouth, that's who they're representing. I'm representing bank only. I can't even represent little. I can't represent nobody. He said it out of the mouth.
Starting point is 00:33:19 That's his mouth. Yeah. But usually, when you're so tied in with niggas and shit, whatever he said out of their mouth, we said. Yeah. And then it leads to the nigger. Oh, bullshit. Little uncle can say some shit. And they'd be like, you know, banking him said, I want to end up.
Starting point is 00:33:35 Yeah, yeah, yeah. Right. Yeah, for sure. That's them. Yeah, that's what they own. Exactly. So you feel like, do that feel like a relief? Yeah, I was just going to say that shit like a real big, like weight off my shoulder.
Starting point is 00:33:46 And I already was feeling like that and moving like that before I ever said it on camera. And then when you say shit and it's like the message I was trying to get out, I feel like it shouldn't even offended nobody. Like it shouldn't offend nobody from the hood that fucked with me or that even didn't fuck with me. But it's like, you should see what I'm on. And knowing like the proof is in the put in the facts. bro I didn't took care so many fucking people from that hood I didn't turn like my hood is it's literally it's four millionaires including me that's from my block that's from that block that stood out there that's a lot that's great for real like you for I'm saying that grew up together yeah thugging together you know what I'm saying getting shot at together sleeping on the same couches and floors and shit that's really legit on paper millionaires you for I'm saying so it's like we dare to them broke generational curses coming out of us so you should see that shit and then they get happy like you should get inspired by that You shouldn't say, oh, yeah, you're a fuck, nigga, don't come on the block, or you can't do this, or you can't, you know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:34:40 Like, that should never even cross nobody mind. So it's like, when you see that, well, me personally, when I seen that, and I, it's like, damn, it's like, I bet. Nigger really doing me in favor. Like, I, I ain't got to deal with this shit no more. That's you speaking as you growing. But you can see how a nigga was said when you was back on the block. Right, yeah, for sure, exactly.
Starting point is 00:34:57 You see what I'm saying? No, for sure, because it's like, bro, I used to really believe in my head that I would be out there forever, like, even with the money. I thought I was going to be one of the niggas with the money pulling up in my block like you feel me like every day though like yeah I'm out here you know what I'm saying staying over here and just like I thought I would be that nigga that just never wanted to lead that environment you know what I'm saying
Starting point is 00:35:17 but it's like a lot come with just like trauma and grief though nigger than lost so many homies that didn't die for this shit it's like damn that'll make you like man fuck this shit you feel me like it ain't just got to do with like the hood and not wanting to be around like on some fuck niggas shit like oh I got some money I feel like I'm better than y'all I don't want to be around y'all more. It's like, no, well, we didn't love some real
Starting point is 00:35:39 niggas to this shit. They just got shit that they got to, if somehow, back then somehow to a nigga, okay, that's just another nigga dead, whatever. Yeah. If somehow you, that she's going to affect a lot of motherfuckers. Bro, no bullshit. You know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:35:51 Back then, you go kick, you know what I'm saying? Really? That's why you tell them, nigga, like, they'd be like, but he grew, it's a certain thing called growing. You know, young, you'd be crazy when they were young young young. Yeah. You know a lot of guys like that's smooth. You need got smart.
Starting point is 00:36:04 Smooth. He's starting to get smarter. Starting to see these little baby looking jet like them and shit. Look, look. This shit, but this shit getting different. This is life now. Back then, nigga, they didn't know no better. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:36:16 That's what it is, too. Shout out to that girl, boss, boss. For sure. Oh, yeah. My grandmother, that girl likes up room. I got to have to talk about her all day. Bosset says she loved me yesterday. She said, I love Uncle Swir.
Starting point is 00:36:27 She likes some rooms. Yes, bro. Yes. She knows the white man on the elevator. I'll tell you, live with him the other day. right, they came over there. So I was over at the studio, because you know we got the studio right now. I was over there to the studio just over there.
Starting point is 00:36:40 He caught me. He said, man, he said, man, and the white man said, what's up, boss? He's like, you look, like, how are you know my daughter? He's like, I see him with her granddad. Like, boss is going to walk up on you and just hug you. Yeah. I even got to know you. Like, no, for real.
Starting point is 00:36:53 Oh, God. For real. Like, yeah, she knows. I know my songs. All the type of shit. Oh, yeah. She'd be tweaking me up. She's all everything.
Starting point is 00:37:00 She's broke. Nah, but I think, I think that's good. And I think that's the new path, man. Like, any nigger that's standing on the destruction part of shit and bullshit. Yeah, them just the fucked-up, niggas. Yeah, that's like, that should be crazed to me, like, bro. And we just, we kind of talked about it a little bit already. It's like, what, dude, what be in a nigger man, we're just like, right now in today's age
Starting point is 00:37:26 where it's for, like, you get, like, a badge of honor or rank saying I'm going to be on this block. Like, I'm outside on this block. This motherfucker ain't producing no money for real. You know what I'm saying? Like you're not getting nothing out of doing this shit. It's not like you out here protecting the hood, making sure kids and babies don't get shot. This motherfucker ain't worth nothing. So what do you get?
Starting point is 00:37:46 What kind of accomplishment do you get feeling like, oh, this is my shit. I'm just right here. Like, this is all you got. That's all they know, right? At some point, though, that's all people know. But the world's so big. You can't really say that. Well, you can say that.
Starting point is 00:37:59 And then you can't at the same time because it's like you could see this. shit on paper on Instagram now. Yeah, you're right. You know, a lot of people just didn't know how big the world was outside of a block if they ain't seen it. You can see niggas getting money now. Like, wake up on your phone, click like, damn. That shit should motivate
Starting point is 00:38:15 you. Like, you shouldn't see no nigga get money, but like that that nigga, bitch. You know what I'm saying? You know what I'm saying? Like, you know, that shit crazy to me. But niggas be fucked up, though, bro. Yeah. Niggas mind be fucked that. Mentally, that's what I'm saying. I'm just saying, like, bro, niggas got to think, bro. What a nigga's mindset and I get a
Starting point is 00:38:32 My mind, I've been in some fucked up places. And looking back on that shit, like, damn, bro, I used to think like that. I'd be feeling like that, though, like, for sure. Yeah, like, even just thinking, just seeing niggas, you know, like, back in the day, you see niggas got them blow up and be like, man, I'm a nigga fake here, man. A man, buddy and I ain't got no money. You know what I'm saying? Like, how you got all of them niggas?
Starting point is 00:38:52 You, in your mind, that's where the mentality comes from. You think that you can save everybody. Right. So when you get your money, that's the first thing you're going to try to do. It's blessed the hood. It's trying to save everybody. Until you start seeing like This person
Starting point is 00:39:04 He'll only fuck me because of this This person hell only love me because it It's hard to believe in real love When everybody you That say they really love you, bro You take care of Treat you like a transaction You ain't lying
Starting point is 00:39:15 It's hard, bro It's hard to believe in real love me Until you can't do some shit for them It's like Oh yeah no you don't fuck with me for real You ain't because they'll show you like Even if they don't show you though It's hard to believe it because it's like
Starting point is 00:39:27 Do you love me because Or do you love me? Exactly Because I'm like everybody of that say, them to say they love you, you're a part of their life. Like, you're done to take care of these folk. You're done to employ these, whatever. So everybody's saying, I love you.
Starting point is 00:39:41 Is this love transactional? Yeah. And then another thing that comes with that, with that shit, too. That's the shit we got to live with, right? Yeah, no, for sure. Yeah, yeah. Yeah. And then, like, another thing that comes with that, too, is when you, you know, when
Starting point is 00:39:52 you're taking care of the hood and, you know, that's the first thing that you feel like you got to do as a real nigger, you also have to understand the fact that a lot of these people don't respect the fact that you're giving them your hard-earned money. No, they don't. They don't. And it's like even though they might act like, okay, it's not a handout or, you know, whatever they got going on, they're careless with their gift or their present. No, people will envy you because you're able to do for them what they can't do for
Starting point is 00:40:21 themselves. I've seen niggas respect, niggins, they told them no every time. And I said yes every time. It's like, no, you respect him because he's, you know, He actually making you go hell on your being. I'm crippling you. So it makes, it do some of your character into your,
Starting point is 00:40:36 to your ego that you got to call me. Right. You're often to say, nigga, hate that they really got to ask. Yeah. And nigga feel like you only do it because you flesh and nigga,
Starting point is 00:40:45 you know, you know my whole no you're fin to pay our rent. Yeah. No bullshit. You know what I said? Nick of that shit. Do I need to call your daddy? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:40:53 Yeah. Do I need to call your whole, but do I need to call your dad? No, for show, boy. For show, your bitch are really a bitch. saying a nigga bitch or make him
Starting point is 00:41:02 want to do something to a nigga that's really helping him because you don't even know the conversation you can't do this unless you call him
Starting point is 00:41:09 you call him and you don't even know y'all having this conversation and you really dare to make about the nigga that's your man
Starting point is 00:41:15 but it's like nah he really don't even like you for real because it's yeah yeah for sure
Starting point is 00:41:21 yeah yeah yeah they see that shit I'm telling you it's like it's like this shit just
Starting point is 00:41:25 it's just the they're just like Light lit it up She's like Cause a bitch She's like Like yeah
Starting point is 00:41:33 You want me to call your dad Like call a nigga Like shit like that What I'm gonna talk Take a nigga soul from Yeah I don't I went through that in real life
Starting point is 00:41:39 Yeah Hold up You I need to call him And see We gonna be in Oh kept Can we go out Yeah
Starting point is 00:41:44 Like What are we gonna eat Let me see Let's hear You eat What you need What you need What you need
Starting point is 00:41:50 What you need Cause we're Oh right Man Man Man That bitch bitch Yeah
Starting point is 00:41:58 Dude shit boy You don't even know, like, boy, in your hair, you're wondering, like, damn, what the fuck wrong with this nigga? Like, you feel me, nigga, a attitude, he mugging and shit. He don't even want to talk. He hop in the car with you. Like, man, what you are? You don't even know.
Starting point is 00:42:10 He's mad because this bitch didn't say something about you, but he got it. He tried to rap. Oh, she's doing to rap your shit. No bullshit, boy, I'm telling you. People with my bitch. Oh, crazy. We rap your shit on there. I don't see that shit.
Starting point is 00:42:25 I don't play this nigga shit. Why the d' dude for the paws of your ass? I haven't seen this shit, boy, I swear of God. Nah, it's a cold world we live in. It's crazy. That's even like how shit starts in the nigga's neighborhood, right?
Starting point is 00:42:39 This safe reason. If a nigga from the hood, you're from, right? And you're going to blow up, you're on the road. This is your first time I'm on the road. Right, right. Everybody can't go. We all know that, right? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:42:48 You're blessing the hood as you can, but people, it's certain people are going to be in the hood. Like, people are going to be asking like, ain't you from God now? Ain't you from Big Fat Avenue? You be like, hell yeah. You fought about a bank? So why you ain't out there?
Starting point is 00:42:59 Why you ain't right that with him? Yeah, why you ain't, why you ain't going to do it to him? Oh, fuck, boy, that need can't even come over hit no, boy. That's she going to say to that. It's a real nigga that's just like, be in that situation and be like, no, bro, having this business. Like, fakes. Right.
Starting point is 00:43:11 Niggas don't do that. Nah, we're holding this down out here. Yeah, niggas start feeling like that. Nigger's going to cut them people or rib it up like, and why don't be fuck with y'all like that, dude. Anything turn your, nigga to. And, nigga, do that intensely to, like, try to turn you against your home. It's certain niggas that are, like, Like, I'm from to say this real quick.
Starting point is 00:43:31 Fuck with him, you know what I'm saying? Like, turn him against him, because he didn't have never liked you anyway. You know what I'm saying? So it's not like, all right, but I'm trying to make his homies. Because they wait on that opportunity. When you write there in public, some niggas are really like not say certain shit because they know how you're going to handle it. Like, I'm going to stand on all 10 about any nigger playing on me regardless.
Starting point is 00:43:49 So it's like, a nigga don't get the opportunity to play with you until you gone or on the internet. Now it's like, you got to think what you didn't, I didn't like been in a situation where it's like you thinking and I don't really trying to have to do something to a nigga just because like they like you know what I'm saying just because I'm saying
Starting point is 00:44:02 just because I'm saying but it's like nigga try to trick you like oh yeah because you don't like in person nigga don't play with you but then it's like when you get to getting money and getting the way it's like not all you think you can play with me
Starting point is 00:44:16 you know name a nigga that didn't go through that yeah who hell of their business yeah everybody got to go through that for sure don't make us exempt but but the dumb niggas when you're so close to the street and you'll be a dumb nigga they'll crash out out by some shit
Starting point is 00:44:28 that's a man. For sure. Like if you was in my faith, you wouldn't say that. You wouldn't say that. That's what I had to learn. I was on that. You went on that.
Starting point is 00:44:35 Exactly. For the purpose of the blueprint, though, so when you, when you're on the cuss of putting yourself in a situation where you can get out to the
Starting point is 00:44:43 for the purpose of sending a blueprint, would y'all advise? Go and don't look back? I mean, shit. Now that I know what I know, hell yeah. Like, man, fuck that shit. What don't do you?
Starting point is 00:44:57 Go ahead. money and take care of who you need to take care of bring whoever with you that's really for you that you feeling your heart all right but i'm bringing these people with me and then don't look back for real because it's like it's certain people where it's like even i i didn't thought about this shit like bro i'm i just said in the interview like the like my hood the east side of chicago is big so it's like it ain't just my little one block i didn't hung out in three four different hoods all over east you from saying so it's like it's like it's Certain niggas where it's like, even when I was outside posted up on a block every day, I ain't even fuck with you for real.
Starting point is 00:45:32 I might have just said what up until you walk past you like. You're like a nigga feel like you're supposed to be and something for them. It's like, bro, I ain't never been to your career. You ain't never been to my shit. Like, we ain't never shared a McDonald's burger, none of this shit together. So it's like, how the fuck do I post a do something for you? It's niggas that really feel like that. And it's like, and I had to think like, damn, just because the nigger say he's from this neighborhood or from this block or claim this or claim this or claim the same shit that you claim, he felt like, oh, yeah, you post a D or something for me.
Starting point is 00:45:57 just off that like hell no like nigger i ain't never even said nothing but what up to you and kevin moot but you got niggins that's mad at you because they know but i'm running in a hell shit what's that mean i got it now what do you talking about or that's the people favorite saying when somebody
Starting point is 00:46:13 well i remember that nigger that boy i ain't ha'n't yeah or try to say it in a cool way like i've been knew you okay bro people got to grow like it's niggas in grade school that feel like if they can just get in touch with you they can get some No bullshit, what? I didn't see that shit, too.
Starting point is 00:46:31 Like, bro, I ain't a lot of it. I didn't dare to just seeing all different type of scenarios and motherfuckers just thinking shit and entitlement and all that shit. Niggins and dealt with that shit for sure. So let me ask all of y'all a question then since we're talking about entitlement and we're talking about like elevating and moving on and not looking back or whatever. How do you deal with? What am I trying to say?
Starting point is 00:46:53 How do you deal with things? family members that act like they're happy for you, but they know that they have such a huge influence over you, that they try to poison your thoughts about your success in what you have going on to make you feel like you're not worthy of it? Like, with me, I ain't going to lie. It's like, I feel like family, them kind of the only people right now at this point that could probably say some shit and make me think twice about it or feel like then because it's like it's my family my cousins auntie like they're a nigga really love you so it's
Starting point is 00:47:29 like you would think twice like now if they say some shit and i know that shit like is it's bad too like entitlement in general but it's like like my family i'd then and try to figure out a way like all right let me just help you anyway because i was like you know what i'm saying it's i don't want to like cripple my family you feel but i know that's wrong too though it's never to this shit i ain't even really got no cousins and uncles and shit i just got like my brothers and sisters and my kids. Yeah. Like, my family is,
Starting point is 00:47:56 they're all theater. They do it. Like, I don't know what I'm not even talking about necessarily financially. I'm just talking about like as far as like even the energy. I don't know you. I don't know you. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:48:11 I don't know. I don't know you. I don't know you, bro. I don't know who it is, bro. It can be Barbara's son. She ain't got one. She's got two dollars.
Starting point is 00:48:21 So they don't I said Barbara son. It could be. barber's son. I don't give a fuck, bro. It don't serve me. It don't belongs with me, bro. I don't serve everything I can serve for them there 40 years.
Starting point is 00:48:34 I'm 40 seven now. I need the rest of this for me, my man. Yeah. It's really peace, though. Nigel, like, man, fuck it. I ain't got to deal with this shit. That's just a level of peace
Starting point is 00:48:45 I want to get to. I ain't going to cry. You start. I don't hear of a fuck hide, nigga. I don't know. Another thing, though, with me, I ain't going to lie.
Starting point is 00:48:53 That's like, the reason why it's like, it's a little, like, smooth with me with my family. It's like, my family close, like, on my mama's side, it's like, I just let everything go through my mama. Call my mama for some shit. Call her, she do it, she don't. Like, a lot of shit don't even get to me. Real, really. I like that, too, though. Yeah, hey, yeah.
Starting point is 00:49:14 Call my mama for that shit, man. If you need to call her, she'll let you know. She'll weed it out. She'll figure that shit out, man. Like, my mama deal with that type of shit. So it's like, I intentionally sometimes I don't answer my shit on purpose. I see my shit ringing. A hundred times I'm not answering.
Starting point is 00:49:30 I don't go, no, fuck. I do love you though, but talk to my mama, man. And then she'll tell me or not tell me, what I'm saying? Like, a lot of shit can't handle that way and it don't really get to me. So it's like I don't really always look like the bad guy because my motherfucker, my mama ain't. And ain't nobody going to tweak with her. So it's like she just deal with shit. But I can't.
Starting point is 00:49:48 He said, fuck that shit. Too many yes. You're going to have to have to tell somebody. to know that you care about. Yeah. I don't do too many yeses, I'm all out of them. No bullshit.
Starting point is 00:49:57 You know what I'm saying? Hey, man, call somebody. Yeah. Not me. Just saying? Because I've been in, I don't been in a position that I can't call nobody.
Starting point is 00:50:05 And even if I could, my pride wouldn't even allow me to. Right. So I feel like, if I can climb my shit, I don't climb out of a nigga, I'd have got to get their clunt. Get their boots on.
Starting point is 00:50:15 Yeah, you would think like that too, though, because, like, a lot of, like, that's how I be feeling like, I feel like anything I get in, like it's just all a part of my journey I'm gonna just do whatever necessary to just change my situation and I wish everybody else thought like that
Starting point is 00:50:28 yeah boy like everybody else thought like that should be much easier because you really can though nigger can really change their situation but they feel like they want to point the finger but I'm fucked up because he my cousin and he got the money like no nigga you fucked up because you fucked up
Starting point is 00:50:42 you need to figure out the way to get right before I even hear though he was thinking of my fucking man shit right I'll tell you when it started. No, this real shit. That nigga just had an awakening. This is what it started for me, brother, BBA.
Starting point is 00:51:00 When I started getting digital money, bro. You know that street money were different because it was on you. Yeah. Yeah. That shit, now I got to send you my shit. Oh, I got to you my car. Yeah, yeah, yeah. No, that digital money makes me say no easy.
Starting point is 00:51:15 That should make you think. It's due. Because you see it. You see the number. This shit's going to go out. This shit coming in. Like, hell no. I don't care about this shit.
Starting point is 00:51:22 I know how to get them. No, I'm working. I'm at work. This is work. Yeah, for sure. I'm still talking to family, but this deal is work. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:51:28 All right. You know what I'm saying? So, nigga, if I can go to work, you can too. No, you ain't lying, though. Because it's like, yeah, you ain't lying though with that this is money. It's like, yeah, I got to sit in a while.
Starting point is 00:51:38 I got to do this. It's steps to it. It's like, you could think. You could think about it before. You got time to think. Like, do I bring in a shit. Like, Don't get up, man.
Starting point is 00:51:47 This shit takes too much effort for no effort on their end. I swear I'd be like that, man. Nah, hell, nah. No, I always say this shit. And another thing, I swear to God, the thing with me, like my phone's, man, my security. He got my phones right now. Shout out that boy, smoke dogs. I intentionally, I swear to God, like, I purposely didn't want to have like no Zelle
Starting point is 00:52:06 cash out, none of that shit on my phone. It's like, I don't got it right now. They're like, oh, yeah, you can just sit. I don't got, none of that shit. I got to call somebody to do that shit. Like, well, I got to call my accountant. I got to call this person, you know what I'm saying. And they got to prove it.
Starting point is 00:52:17 I purposely don't have that shit on my phone for that, bro, because the nigger really's like, hell on, let me see. I'm saying, I'll be like, hold on, let me see. I'll see what I can do. My phone's like, boy, you can send it right now. You don't got Zell Cash. No, I don't got that shit set up, for sure.
Starting point is 00:52:30 That shit got me through a lot. That shit saved me. I did the same shit. I said to add it up my Apple Pays my day. Ain't, ain't nothing received. Everything is sent. Out. I ain't received shit.
Starting point is 00:52:41 Yeah, like. What up, man. Apple pay the words, though. I don't know. They say, nervous see you. I'm sending this shit out. Everybody sent me shit.
Starting point is 00:52:49 Yeah. Like, what the hell? You ain't laugh. You ain't laugh. You can just text money. That was the worst. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:52:55 But now I'll bring in that back up. I was just talking about that shit screen like how he folks just stop a nigga money for real. Right. Yeah. We trust them like we don't have nothing. Just saving they take money. It ain't even no money in circulation anymore.
Starting point is 00:53:11 They take these numbers out of circulation. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. What niggas gone? don't do. Yeah. Niggas don't know how to do nothing. No bullshit.
Starting point is 00:53:19 I don't care. Nah, you fucking a head up. What are you going to do? Look at how to fix nothing. Do nothing. So it gets to a point where you really like, you see it, but you really don't know where your shit at, for real. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:53:32 That shit is in the L. She's in the L, bro. It's all numbers. Don't say, like, on some Dune's day shit. Like, how are we going to live? Yeah. You better have some. Shit, we're going to start nibbling on each other.
Starting point is 00:53:44 This shit, I'm lying, boy. I swear to God. You go do anything. They don't know how to build a fort. I don't cap fish and shit. Like, no. Man, that shit. No bullshit.
Starting point is 00:53:54 Ugly. You know what I'm so crazy. I'd be, like, thinking about that shit. Like, I've been looking like, I'm trying to buy underground bunkers and shit, all type of shit. Like, I'm trying to buy a couple. That's where the shit gone. They got the ones that's like energy saver, food say.
Starting point is 00:54:08 They got the ones that come with canned food, all type of shit. Yeah, five years worth the shit already in that, motherfucker. I've been looking at all that type of shit. They said any else's about what? When I get big fat, big fat, big food. Hey there, Dr. Jesse Mills here. I'm the director of the men's clinic at UCLA Health.

It's going to be fun, whether you're 27, 97, or somewhere in between. Men's health is about more than six packs and supplements. It's about energy, confidence, and connection. Starting point is 00:56:52 But if they had tomatoes, they would have thrown the tomatoes. Let's be honest. We've all had those moments we'd rather forget. We bumped our head. We made a mistake. The deal fell through. We're embarrassed. We failed.
Starting point is 00:57:04 But this podcast is about that and how we made it through. So when they sat me down, they were kind of like, We got into the small talk, and they were just like, so what do you got? What? What ideas? And I was like, oh, no. What? Starting point is 00:57:38 Donald Trump's trade war, 2.0. is only accelerating the process of de-dollarization, which in a way is jargon for people turning away from the dollar. That is where the big take from Bloomberg podcast comes in, to connect the dots. How unusual is a deal like this? Unprecedented. Every weekday afternoon, we dive deep into one big global business story. The biggest story of the reaction of the oil market to the conflict in the Middle East

The most Texas story of There's a lot of mavericks in that story. We're going to have mavericks on the show. We're plenty of robber barons. So many robber barons. And you know what? That shit crazy, right. Don't you think, though, if you're going to be a hustler across the board. So if that did happen, we would figure it out. Man, for sure.
Starting point is 01:00:23 They're going to be determined. I got to give a guy. I'm going to find men. I know I do everything. Yeah. That's me. I'm going to be selling, niggas. They're doing shit.
Starting point is 01:00:30 I know too many nigg that don't know how to do shit. I know how to do shit. Yeah. You know what I don't know how to do shit. Got a check. That's going to swap it out. Like us, I think naturally or for so long we always been problem solvers. So it's like even when, you know, a nigga hit a brick wall when they can't do some shit.
Starting point is 01:00:46 We're going to at least try to find a motherfucker that no, don't, I mean, know how to do what we don't know how to do, you know how to do, you know what I'm saying? And pay you and treat you right. So you know what I'm saying? Could take care of the shit, want to take care of the shit, they won't know how to do. You know what I'm saying? Like, that's just being a problem solve. Like, a lot of niggas don't get there. And a niggas don't know how to doubt neither.
Starting point is 01:01:04 Mm-hmm. Yeah. Well, I'd be like, you got to think, like, our life, the shit we go through, bro, we really, we really was an experiment.
Starting point is 01:01:11 We all know that right. Yeah. But our lives to people, bro, that really sit down and listen to the podcast and listen to y'all, niggas music and shit,
Starting point is 01:01:18 bro, this shit is like a mover to the other people, like, because they know it, they when they survive, like, half the shit you don't survive, you know what you know,
Starting point is 01:01:26 and how you feel like, you know what I'm saying, how your shit be going up, sometimes you get emotional about your people, but when you see real love, you know what I'm saying? Yeah,
Starting point is 01:01:34 those are real, feelings about, but some people crash and burn before they get the chair to feel those feelings. You get what I'm saying? Right. I just said that to a motherfucker too, I swear to God, the exact same thing you're saying is like the shit, like reality for us and the shit that do feel surreal and make people get emotional and all that type of shit, people never experienced it.
Starting point is 01:01:52 One and two, they really don't think that it's possible for them. Certain people, they look at us like we're superheroes, but we feel like we're just regular niggins. No bullshit. Like, bribing the snow. No bullshit. And it's normal. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:02:05 Nigger, this shit's so normal. We glorified. Like you said, shit, we don't been through. Niggas made everything that was positive. Some bullshit. Like, look at what you had to deal with that, oh, this nigga got a dad. God, damn, that's some bullshit because he got a dad. I swear to God.
Starting point is 01:02:21 Man, that's crazy. This nigga is lame because he got a dad. What the fuck? All the cool shit. Like, niggas say that. Nigger, it's a nigga street, niggas like, boy, you, fuck, nigga, you went to school. You play basketball. That's what I posted did.
Starting point is 01:02:33 It was supposed to be that. I wasn't post to do all that slow-fried-ass shit that I did. You know what I'm saying? Looking back at it. Like, man, nigga was never supposed to do that. Like, you're not lying. Nigger, tell you like, boy, oh, where I come from a... I come from a two-parent household for real. Like, I hear, both of my parents, my whole life, you know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 01:02:49 Nigel, look at that. Like, boy, how the fuck he was in the streets? He got both parents. Like, look, that's... What did I have to do with the price of tea in China? I went outside. I went outside. I was in the street. You know, the nigginsic thing, the poor they are, the crazy. I mean, the crazy they, than you.
Starting point is 01:03:04 Like, you don't even want to really that pole. So them nakes my hole. Huh? That shit I only got nothing to do with heart. That's all they got to do with hard. That's a lot of niggas
Starting point is 01:03:13 that grew up, fucked up, poe broke that really do think they're crazy, but holes for real. And niggas then showed them. Like,
Starting point is 01:03:19 you know what I'm saying? Like, I didn't say niggas that you would think tough really get treated like real bitches for real bitches for me. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:03:26 I didn't do. I didn't treat the nigs like real bitches that think they're crazy for real. But it's like, I don't walk around like I'm tough. I just know what I'll really do there was for real
Starting point is 01:03:35 I'm saying. No, real shit. That's how that shit goes. Yeah, no bullshit. Like, it ain't in the bank trying to lose way and be vegan. That nigga a hoe. Okay.
Starting point is 01:03:44 Hey, I'm a hoax. No bullshit. Yeah. But a nigga will be hating because they won't that shit for themselves, though. And they don't have, they don't have the discipline or the fucking willpower or the mind capacity to be able to even start
Starting point is 01:03:58 doing what you're doing. Yeah. So all of a sudden, instantly. But that's, that goes back to what I asking y'all about the family shit that's like right there with y'all like yeah because they want they really want to be you yeah but they know that they they can't so they're gonna hate or fucking try to downplay everything that you do to make you feel like it's not worth it or it's not a big deal because it's something that they'll never be able to be yeah for sure you here
Starting point is 01:04:23 receive that information what you mean that's the problem oh you're receiving that information no you're right who's telling you these right why they're saying it how who How you hear them. Yeah. A nigga, only way I hear, you're going to type it up under my pitch. You got my number. No voice.
Starting point is 01:04:41 My number still, so I ain't been on that before. I ain't asking. Mm-hmm. Yeah. I'm asking a DM. If I do, I'm reading it, I don't know you.
Starting point is 01:04:48 No, but I'm speaking on, like, family. Like, like, like you be a 100% hate a family. That's what you're saying still. You're like, yeah, yeah, yeah. You're going to hide your hand hater. Because I'm showing you. Yeah. I don't really know you.
Starting point is 01:04:59 So, go on and join the crew. Yeah. Go out loud. make you do it out loud. If you hate, bang, I'm going to make you hate me worse. Like, that's what I get off on that. Like, I know every time, like, grow up to make you, I get a kick out of it. I get it. I get it to make your ad be like, man, fool, dude, niller. No fool's shit. Get you had to lie.
Starting point is 01:05:20 No, for real. For real. But you got to, like, you got to learn. Uncle I says, nigger. You got to learn to do that shit, though, I'm saying. Like, you know, you would think, like, what I'm saying is, like, you got to learn. It's, that's, like, that's a, like, like, A good trait to have is what I'm saying, because you get to see the flow. Like, you see what I'm saying? A lot of times you really don't see it because you just see it earlier. If you doing shit and you providing for everybody and doing this, you really don't know who really fuck with you or not fuck with you for you, you know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 01:05:45 It's like, you then they got to put people through shit or just see if they really for you or not, you know what I'm saying? Like you got to then and put them in a situation where I know you being on fucking because I don't got nothing for you. Right. So I'm going to draw the line like, bro, we got a strictly, what they call it? Platonic relationship. What that mean?
Starting point is 01:06:05 Nah, that ain't platonic. Y'all using it out of context. Like, a fucking, we have a strictly... Transactional. No, transactional is the opposite of what you're trying to say. Okay, non-transational. Yeah, a matter of fact, nigga, fuck you. Basically, that's what you just said.
Starting point is 01:06:20 Like, I ain't got shit for a nigga regardless. Period. I ain't fucking with you. Fuck out. That's dead, Fred. We cool. Right, turn that shit off, man. Far up up your ass, man.
Starting point is 01:06:28 No bullshit, man. My mom poor and went off at $4.50 then morning. He went out of 4-50 to day. Like, that's what you're saying. Like, yeah, you got to do, got to do that. But I wouldn't like that, though. I ain't going to be a hundred with you. I wasn't like.
Starting point is 01:06:40 I was just like, oh, yeah, I'm going to fuck with everybody, trying to do something for it, but you know, you didn't have got to do that like, no, fuck everybody. Boy, I ain't got shit for you for real. I'm going to tell you when you're going to get like that, when the person or persons that you did, you were to gave your goddamn little to or whatever to, they do it to you. You're going to be like, you know what, man. Fuck all this shit. Fuck out of the shit.
Starting point is 01:07:04 You're going to know, like, I'm not saying everybody. They're going to be selecting a few. Like, it's, it's 10 people can call me. Yeah. And I got people that can call me that I know I can call too. We ain't got to be friends, buddies, grew up together and love you. Yeah. It is some niggas in this world that we got a transactional relationship.
Starting point is 01:07:23 Right. Like, then my man, I'm going to beat up for him. He's going to beat up for me. Whatever. That's our relationship. We know that. Like, I fought what you, fuck with me. I got you.
Starting point is 01:07:30 You got, you got, you got, you know what I'm saying? Yeah. For sure. All the people. just one side relationship, I don't got none of them. Yeah. Right.
Starting point is 01:07:36 Yeah, no, no bullshit. No one side of like, it's just all me. Hell, no, I can't really trust you. Right. You, I don't see these niggas get mad at me for being able to do and they bitch saying them they daddy. Yeah. No bullshit.
Starting point is 01:07:50 There's one nigga I ain't gonna lie that I know unconditionally that I know I could call for real, like that I know I could call about anything if I went broke, if anything need a place to stay, or anything they could give me the shirt off his back south side for show. Oh, no, for sure. Sizzle or do whatever for me. That's my real big brother. And that's why he didn't show.
Starting point is 01:08:07 Yeah, I'll do it for him for sure. Like, we didn't, it's, the proof is in the pudding. Like, you know what I'm saying? Like, that nigger would do anything for me for real. Like, that's one thing I know that's going to do anything for me that really love me. Like, well, I love this. Like my word, like, like, I'm just saying, like I love him. That's my little brother.
Starting point is 01:08:24 I'll do whatever. Like, his mama do whatever for me. You know what I'm saying? My mama will do whatever for him. Shit like that. That shit rare. That shit rare? Yeah, no, for sure.
Starting point is 01:08:32 shit ready should be out one out one in a million yeah no for sure i'm saying i'm just man i just thank god he gave a nigger the wheelpower to never lay down man and just keep going bro and they're what it is man because relationships are the only thing bring you stress man friendships and relationships bro we could deal with our own problem you try to deal with other people problem other people the shit that they bring in your life is what stresses you right like you could be chilling we're chilling all day and we're gonna pick up our phone and look at a tick that's gonna make us feel away no This is a great interview we have
Starting point is 01:09:04 Shilling King's shit. Only time we're going to look on social media and stroll or look at our phone, some shit going to change our move from this perfect new movie. Right about that. No bullshit. That shit. It ain't us. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:09:13 No bullshit. For real, for real. And it's like, on top of that, you would, like, I'll be going through some shit or you go through some shit. You'd be feeling no way. And it's like, niggas like us, we ain't really like.
Starting point is 01:09:23 And I ain't going to say, we can't, like, you could really, like, feel away. And what I'm trying to say is, like, we ain't going to complain about the shit. We're going to go through this shit and just figure this shit out, thug it out. Like, I ain't going to go home until like, damn, bank, man, I'm stretched the fuck out. Like, you know what I'm saying? Like, don't get me wrong.
Starting point is 01:09:40 I, like, had conversations. There's people that I could confide in, you know, if I need to, but just on a day-to-day, nigger endure so much shit every day. You ain't fin of complaining about every problem. And I'm saying that to say, you'll be going through some shit and somebody else will be going through some shit. And you act ignoring more about it because, like, it's cool. You know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 01:09:57 They'll try to put their shit on you. Like, you don't got problems just because you handle it with, you, if I'm saying like no I got real shit going on too and you don't say it like even your girl to do that like every like people would do that too you if I'm saying could be your friend or girl like you know because we just such like strong niggas you feel I'm saying but it's like all that shit that shit really for the birds though like you really got it there like you got to show motherfucker like no hell no like what I'm saying is like you got to show your emotion like I got to a point where I'm nothing to keep hiding my emotion and the nigga that you
Starting point is 01:10:27 explain is the nigga that always trying to hold everybody up but being being pushed down You just think, when you that nigger, when you that nigger, when you want them chosen niggas, it's always going to be, you're going to be forgot about. Like, they're going to forget your birthday. They're going to forget everything. You know what I'm saying? Like, the people that you do for. Yeah. And then even post, they say that mean you've got to drop your album.
Starting point is 01:10:46 Yeah. It could be your family member that you just, you just pay for their school shit. Little girl, poke my shit on your pay. Oh, my fucking. You can't be sending this shit to sell people. Okay. Don't I do. But you'll get mad at me if you're having a pageon or something on post.
Starting point is 01:10:58 Exactly. You get one son. Yeah. This shit goes both way. Yeah. Support me. That shit, you don't understand. It may not reach.
Starting point is 01:11:05 You might have, I don't heard my fucking to say, man, I ain't, I ain't, I'm going to be posing this shit. I ain't got a 500 people. Yeah. Give a fuck. That 500 people sent it. And it's going to make me feel away like that. You're going to make me feel good about, yeah. Right.
Starting point is 01:11:15 About myself. Handling up, you know what I'm saying. Ryan with me. Boy, that's something of the realest shit ever in the world. You just see it right there. Like, that shit. It's like, on the normal, we are normalized with it's like, you know, but hell no, you got to, for sure.
Starting point is 01:11:27 Like, now, let me see it. Yeah, let me see it. Let me feel it. Let me feel that shit. Let me feel that shit. Boy, that's real shit like that, but people be feeling like, and today, today it feels, I guess they feel like it don't matter, but it do. Yeah, no, I do.
Starting point is 01:11:41 The smallest shit, like, should I take it by me a motherfucker, go bad? This shit with $5,600. That shit mean the world of me. You got me an Apple watch. I don't start wearing my Rolex. I'm going to wear this motherfucker every day, and I got my grandbaby in day, pitch on the motherfucker fuck a Rolex. You get what I'm saying?
Starting point is 01:11:56 It just, certain shit just means certain shit to me. It can be the smallest shit in the world. You get what I'm saying? Yeah, no, you ain't mind. But they don't, they don't look at it like that because they start looking at you. Like they said, niggas change when they get money and know the people start changing
Starting point is 01:12:08 because they start looking at you. You're starting to fan out. Yeah. I'm the same nigga. I ain't black no more. I'm big bank now. Oh, damn. I'm still black.
Starting point is 01:12:18 But you're trying to still be swirred to your people but they're looking at you as gee, herbo, the rapper. Yep. Hell, man, that's me, y'all. For sure. I got these same thing. Yeah, that shit hurt your feelings.
Starting point is 01:12:28 a little bit like, damn, bro, like, nigga ain't any regular no more, for real. Real shit, people start treating you like, like a lick. Yeah, niggas do that for real. Like, I ain't gonna lie. And I swear to God, as people, like, friends, family, maybe, yeah, what's up, G, Herbo? Like, damn, my name ain't hurt. That's shit. Like, damn, I see what type of shit you want.
Starting point is 01:12:45 Yeah, this is ain't feel uncomfortable. I swear to God, bro. Every time I fucking do that, it really do. And people do that, like, yeah, what up, G, gherbo? On purpose, though. You know what I'm saying? Like, trying to make you feel, yeah, trying to make you feel like you only that. Like you didn't get bigger than me
Starting point is 01:12:58 You know what I'm saying Like I don't even do that You feel like I don't even do that I don't ever feel like I'm better than nobody Like they try to do Make you feel like that you feel like that You don't care That's crazy way
Starting point is 01:13:07 That shit fucked up boy Man who's gonna shoot the movie For y'all city Man I don't know shit You We need to go on Go on help produce this You know
Starting point is 01:13:15 Real quick Man we need I want too bad Nobody never really told the story Within a movie I've been saying that too That's been a Chicago movie No not about like Not the coaching
Starting point is 01:13:23 And shit that's going on They got the show But not for real The show Yeah, shot the show, but there's been no real movie. No, for sure. We need, like, a Chicago I'm about it or some shit, like, some real deep shit. Yeah, it got to be, like, and it's like, like, organic, like, you know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 01:13:37 Like, even with, like, say for instance, like, your role in and superflap, like, I feel like you was able to play yourself. Oh, yeah, yeah. You let me say my own words. Like, shit like that. I want to be a part of some shit like that for sure. I've been saying that, too. Like, I want to start acting this shit. I want to take that shit serious.
Starting point is 01:13:52 Like, well, like, right now, I feel like I had to, like, complete. a couple milestones and shit like like I just said I'm gonna be independent so now it's like I could focus on other shit where it's like I want to really like drop the music get out of my situation get out of the deal you know what I'm saying where it's like I can see like I'm one them type of people I can't have like too much on my plate at once and try to do all that shit like I got to do like step by step by step so now I'm at a point right now with music I'm gonna be able to like take a little time act and then get on my shit with like I'm independent like I want to be to flood the music and still like have my shit don't
Starting point is 01:14:26 Like, what I'm saying is organized. Have another music. Like, all right, but I could drop this, this, this at this time. But I can still wake up and go to active school. You know what I'm saying? I've been on that type of shit. Just control your own shit. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 01:14:37 Nah, but you got a long way to go, but 30, but you got a long life here. And the nigga making the right choices at this moment. It's a perfect pivotal moment. I see a lot of niggas getting on their shit. Now, this shit, this shit kind of hard out here, too, man. Yeah, no, for sure. Like, it's harder to make the money. She's saying they're trying to push the rap shit out for real shit.
Starting point is 01:14:55 Like, niggas overpricing. You know what I'm saying? Like clubs fucked up. This shit fucked up. Yeah. So the nigga had better get smart. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:15:04 No bullshit. And it's like, I just feel like that's what I was saying earlier. Like that just that shit inspired me just like seeing you get on your like your health journey and all this shit. Like that shit, when I see people doing that, especially people I fuck with like, all right. But no, I got to get on this shit too. I got to do it because I feel like even a little bit that I've been doing like working out. I've been working out for like probably a month now. That shit makes me feel.
Starting point is 01:15:24 But you feel like you could go get more money. And you wake up, you sleep up. Yeah, that boy, man, yeah. I get my shit right. I can do like 50 pushups in the row now, type of shit. Oh, cap, that shit make you feel good. It's like, yeah, I know if I'm a goddamn it, like, if I'm feeling healthy and shit, it just inspired you.
Starting point is 01:15:41 Like, nigga, waking up earlier, you feel I'm saying? You're going like, you could go get the money now. And your brain be sharper too. Okay, I understand. Like, all that shit worked hand in hand. No, no bullshit. I swear to God. Fasting, working out, eating right, sleeping right.
Starting point is 01:15:54 All that shit worked hand in. Man, this shit, how you're sharp. Like, a lot of these niggas will be sharp. Don't be sharp because they, like, LeBron, them niggas is sharp. Not for real. All them work out at, basketball, football, nigga. You know, a lot of niggins make done decisions. I ain't saying everybody's smart, but them nigger have to be sharp by their business.
Starting point is 01:16:10 Yeah. For sure. You know what I'm saying about being able to be on that field. All this shit is mind doesn't know, bro. Mind of the matter. Shit, man. This right step, the first step is to say, choose you. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:16:22 And fuck what a nigga think. That's the hardest shit a nigger do, bro. it's say fuck what people think. Everybody want to be goddamn in the cool. Like, bro, one more for the life. Yeah, no, fuck all. I don't get a fuck how I feel about me because I never did nothing that I'm ashamed of
Starting point is 01:16:39 in my life. Exactly. So I don't get a fuck high. No, that's hard, though, for sure. Nigel can't do that for sure. Like, I seen, even when I seen you say, like, bro, if everybody like you, bro, you got to be a fake-ass nigga. Like, when you said that, that shit made perfect sense.
Starting point is 01:16:52 And the truth, though, right? Yeah, it won't everybody like them. Like, you can't even be your same. yourself because you want to please this person. You probably don't even feel like that. I've seen you say, I'm like, no, that's a real shit right there. I know. Everybody like you.
Starting point is 01:17:03 You got to be a fake-ass nigga, boy. Right. Because you're pleasing to me. That shit makes perfect sense, but no, boy, shit. Yeah, fuck, man. I definitely seen that shit. I'm like, no, this nigga ain't lying, though, boy. Al, man, a little hurt on the way, 11-7.
Starting point is 01:17:19 I ain't even on no funny shit, bro. I swear, I feel like, I'm rapping good as a motherfucker right now, like, I was playing some shit. I'm playing a little in them some shit last night. He's like, boy, but what the fuck
Starting point is 01:17:29 you got going on? Like, boy, no, you're tripping. You've been dropped back to back? Or you just dropping that? I'm going to drop. No,
Starting point is 01:17:34 I'm going to drop. Hell, yeah, I'm going to drop back to back. I'm going to drop 11-7. And then I'm going to drop. I got a mixtape ready too. Like, you know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 01:17:42 Oh, you already dropped three this year already, right? Oh, bro. This will be my fourth project this year. So you're trying to squeeze five for the year? Yeah, yeah. I'm going to try to drop at least again. When, like, December, if I don't drop, if I don't drop, because, you know, the labels and shit shut down and all the shit, you stop in the fourth quarter.
Starting point is 01:17:58 So it's like, if I don't drop on this side and I feel like my album going to go so crazy, even though I got the shit, I got both projects turned in, in the system and everything. Like, I really could do some shit where it's, like, drop and then drop that bitch two weeks later. I don't know. I want to do that for sure, because I got everything already set up here, yeah. Because you're setting up 26, man, touring this shit. Yeah, no, for sure. That's what I'm trying to do. Go on tour, top of the year, all that.
Starting point is 01:18:21 But yeah, yeah, a little herb on the way, like. You got to do a little herb deluxe the top of the year. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. That's what I'm saying. I could drop this project, drop the tape and then come deluxe when I'm on tour or that shit. For sure. That shit makes sense.
Starting point is 01:18:34 When you're in the studio, man, he read it. He's not ready, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. I don't know who is shit, for sure. That way, son, son. He'd be in a career, like, freestyle and coming up with shit. Like, I ain't going to lie. That little nigga, that should be making me proud of his head. That he, like, want to do it.
Starting point is 01:18:49 And it's like he's like he doing it. because he's looking up to me, you know what I'm saying? Yeah. How the hell I've been to sit around and deteriorate with y'all, niggum. I got some. I'm a hero to somebody. Right. I'm a real hero.
Starting point is 01:19:00 No, for sure, for sure. Nigger'd be a damn fool, man. They can't play their self out behind a cold. It don't even exist no more. Exactly. That's the part right there. It's like the shit don't even exist. It's like you're trying to, you're trying to be loyal to some shit that ain't
Starting point is 01:19:13 any loyal to nobody. It don't even work no. It'd be a different now, but it was a badge of honor. I get what you saying earlier, Jay. Like, okay, it was a token. Like, shit. But that niggas that came home. They kept that shit real.
Starting point is 01:19:23 That why these niggas like that? Nigger like, bro, you don't get in that for being no real, nigga. Mm-hmm. He's like, tell it like a motherfucker. Like, bro, bro, no nobody. No bullshit. You nigga like, bro, ain't no consequences to this shit. Nigger don't need any.
Starting point is 01:19:35 There ain't no consequences. Ain't no trophies either? No bullshit. For the goddamn for being real. For the real, yeah. For the real, yeah. Like, he's old still getting any niggas and pussy. Oh, cap.
Starting point is 01:19:45 More pussy than a solid, nigga. Oh, cap. Yeah. Still getting the suckers getting more money. And it just, it's fucked all up. Yeah, bro. Like, this shit, wow. We don't let him take over.
Starting point is 01:19:54 It's fucked all up, man. And the shit is heartbreaking, man. I'm telling you, it's terrible. No, for sure. I'm going to that. I'm going to get me one of them bonkers through her. Okay. No, for sure.
Starting point is 01:20:03 I'm going to see you the bitches, boy. Yes, I've been looking at them one for like a motherfucker, boy. Nice-ass-ass shit, too. Go on the, going to go on the ground on you fucking. Just from a, like, another kind of sort of, like, mental health, like, wellness standpoint or whatever. Right. How big of a part.
Starting point is 01:20:19 Do you think your relationship played in your current state of healing? Definitely, man. I ain't going to lie like 100% for real. Like my girl, man, she just like, she made me feel like better about myself. Yeah. You know what I'm saying? Like just the small shit. Like I bank said, this is the small shit that you do.
Starting point is 01:20:39 Like just the shit where she do shit where my kids show me appreciation. You know what I'm saying? Like she do shit like that, the small shit. Like for my birthday. She got me a bunch of shit, but she got me, uh, yeah, she got, yeah, yeah, she got the slippers from the kids, like, you feel I'm saying, with the notes. Yeah. The shit that say, Daddy, I love you, all type of shit, like, you for I'm saying.
Starting point is 01:20:59 Like, she do shit, well, she's saying gifts from all three of my kids, you know what I'm saying, like, all three of them. Like, she treat your son, like, that's her son, you know what I'm saying? Because rightfully so she should, you feel me? But I was just saying, like, small shit, like, she got me, goddammit, this, um, this, this, like, what I don't know what they call, like, iron and son. That she got my pop's ashes in it, though. You know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 01:21:19 Like, I ain't took this motherfucker off since I got it. Like, shit like that just let you know, like, she paid, she paid attention. She care, you know what I'm saying? It's like, I know for a fact I could talk to her about, like, anything, like, that's, that's good. When you feel like, you're one of your best friends. Like, we could talk to her about shit. And it's like, it ain't no, she ain't going to judge, you feel I'm saying. Right.
Starting point is 01:21:38 She talked, I talked to her about, like, my business or personal shit, you for I'm saying, that I really don't want to talk to nobody else about, you know what I'm saying. So I'm saying that to say, like, your relationship, if you feel like you got to somebody that's like real you know what I'm saying like because like I was at a real low point of my life I ain't gonna lie like 20 22 21 my little brother died and 20 23 and shit like because I couldn't drop music I lost my swag a little bit my confidence you feel I'm saying like damn bro because you'll see like that's what make niggas do fuck nigga shit you will see the world past you bad niggas start hating and doing this and feeling less about their self because it's okay
Starting point is 01:22:13 to like lose confidence but it's like whatever you feel about yourself shouldn't affect how you treat other niggas or how you feel about other niggas on the outside you feel what I'm saying like I'm blessed that I always had that mad set but what I'm saying is
Starting point is 01:22:24 when you're going through shit your girl closest to you she's done to get the short end of the stick because mentally I gotta be in the studio I want to be here
Starting point is 01:22:33 I ain't trying to be home as much and I'm saying through all that she ain't do nothing but hold me down you know what I'm saying so it's like you gotta reward your woman for that
Starting point is 01:22:40 yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah it's rare bro no bullshit man he's like fuck you Boy, you're in a slump.
Starting point is 01:22:48 You're in a slump by yourself. And it ain't even slump, like, niggum, like, I get what you're saying. Nigel still having their business. But certain shit, brus, just being scarlet of it. Yeah, no, for sure. That shit just cuts you so deep.
Starting point is 01:22:59 Yeah. You find yourself just, like, right. I had to tell myself, bro, you're bitching up, man. Yeah. That shit just had you crying for shit. Yeah, yeah. Like, no, you know what the fuck. Like, it's just me certain shit.
Starting point is 01:23:10 Like, you know what I ain't, I'm like. Yeah. No, for sure. I know how you feel, bro. I know exactly what you're saying, Cause it's like, bro, you got certain people like, come on, bro, you know I'm, bro, I'm, bro, man, like, if you ain't know me, you would think I was from Atlanta, how I'd be out here and just really like, you know, like, you know, like, thugging with child, thugging with a little bro
Starting point is 01:23:27 them, you know what I'm saying? Like, because I feel home, you know what I'm saying? So it's like certain shit. And I'm saying that to say, like, it's certain shit that you see a motherfucker going through or certain people, like, you know what I'm saying? Like, when my little brother died, like, Sabbaths called me because he'd know, like, that shit made him feel the way because my, like I said, I said this shit before, like my real friends became his friends and vice versa you feel i'm saying like so i'm just saying
Starting point is 01:23:48 all that i say like it's certain people you would never be the same after you lose them you feel i'm saying like like dave you feel i'm saying like no boy shit like dave's my brother i fuck with that you feel i'm saying it's like when i lost my little brother everything changed for me like then i'm still like kind of touching on the subject like with my girl she knew that like like then lost myself and i had to get that shit back like i ain't want to do shit but drink all day because i'm mad angry sad all this goofy-ass shit and she's seeing it but like she was one of the people like and you don't want to hear that shit from your girl she's like well you got to pull yourself together like she's saying
Starting point is 01:24:20 this shit because she wants you to be better want you to be the best version of yourself and then it's like when you get right because right now like mentally I'm in a great space like I'm happy about a lot of shit the way my life going my relationship you feel me but you still got there like scah that ain't going over like I think about my little brother every single day you know what I'm saying like look at his kids on the phone you know what I'm saying talking to them and trying to you know, trying to make sure they're good, but it's like, it'd be kind of hard a little bit still because it's like, damn, man, this nigga, don't got his daddy, you know what I'm saying? Like, I know he thinking about that shit if I'm thinking about it, you know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 01:24:52 So it's like, all that shit just play a real place and, like, I'm saying, play a role and just like the shit I do think about. Because it's certain shit, be like, man, fuck this shit, fuck niggas, or fuck taking care of nits because I want to take care of bro kids. Like shit like that. Oh, bro. On cap. Nah, man. We appreciate you putting up. For sure, man.
