Hey, it's Drew Franklin from NFL Cover Zero.
The 2026 season is underway, and we are loving football on TV.
Here's what you can expect from the podcast in our second season.
I would suggest for these preseason games,
I think they should do what they do on the NFL draft,
you know, when coverage of the NFL draft is basically for moms.
And they're just like,
Hey, he has a dog named Spark.

Doorbell Prankster that tormented German resident apartments turns out to be a slug.
Ding dog.

China's first corgi police dogs in trouble again.
Uh-oh, what did he do this time?
He stole a sausage from a child.

I'm a home guy that knows a little bit about everything and everybody.
You know if you don't lie about that, right?
Lauren came in.
Hey, y'all, what's up?
It's Lauren the Rosa, and this is another episode of the latest with Lauren the Rosa.
this is your daily dig of all things pop culture, entertainment news,
and all of the conversations that check the room, baby.
Now y'all know we kick off the latest checking in behind the scenes of the grind.
Let's get to it.
Back on the ground.
Not even going to lie to y'all today.
I am filling my age.
I am tired, okay?
And y'all probably like, girl, you wake up mad early, like 3, 4 a.m.
3 is crazy.
alarm start around like 3.45 and yes I set alarms with an S. I'm one of those type of people that have to
have multiple alarms for me to even get up. I love sleep. I love sleep. I love eating and I don't know.
I'm like more to be honest with y'all. I am a night person like I thrive in the night time. That sounds like
a streetwalker or josebel. No shade. No shade to anybody that feels the same way but I do thrive at
night. I feel like I work better than I'm more alert, up going. But nothing about my life or my
career has ever given nighttime jobs. Maybe a little side gig. I was a bartender, like waitress
at the Abbey, the bar in West Hollywood. Gay bar, but really, really fun. But they had the
show on E, the Abbey, the West Hollywood Abbey. It was like a big reality show. So,
when I was looking for like a backup gig during my TMZ days,
but I just need the extra money.
I went there.
That was the only nighttime thing I've ever done.
And I'm going to tell y'all something.
Every single morning I am reminded by God that the nighttime crawl of life is not for me
because I am woken up.
My first alarm goes up at 345, my very last one that, and I even changed the, like,
the tunes on my alarm.
So the first couple ones are very gentle.
Good morning.
The world is yours.
realize I did not pray this morning. Good morning. The world is yours. And then as it gets closer to
that time where like if I don't get out of the bed right now, I'm going to be late, I get the
dirt, durn, durn, like that is my, I have to do that. I know myself well enough to know I've been
waking up early in the morning for years now that I just, I really love sleep. I love sleeping.
But I'm not tired because I just didn't get enough sleep on a regular night. I'm tired because
I took my behind outside last night.
I went to the Sixers
preseason game against the Knicks.
Had a really great time.
I did enjoy it.
I got there a little bit
after the first quarter started.
We drove down,
me and my boyfriend went.
We drove down from Jersey to Philly.
I was trying my hardest to be on time.
I wanted to be on time.
Shout out to Rob Nicholson.
He handles a lot of the VIP and fan experience
with the Knicks.
He showed us a really amazing time.
We had floor access.
We had sweet access.
So I was like, you know, we're going to have all the things.
Let's get there so we can really enjoy it.
Because by a certain time, my 4 a.m. wake up is going to hit me and my battery is going to start burning down.
So let's get there early.
But didn't happen.
But I got there on time enough.
Like, we hadn't missed much.
Now, I knew going into this that LeBron was not going to play.
I'm like, it's preseason, you know,
the big game, like their first real season opener game is coming up soon.
It is no way that we are going to get LeBron suited up and on the court, period.
Like, it's just not happening.
But he was there, though.
I mean, duh, it's his job.
But I know people were, like, freaking out to see him on the court.
He was sidelines on the court in a sweatsuit.
He had a burgundy sweatsuit on.
But he had, like, the old school of the Pee to Philly set.
So people were like, I don't know, they were just hiked to see him in Philly.
I think, you know, a few weeks ago, or not a few weeks ago, about a week ago now,
there was video and photos that went so viral of LeBron getting in the helicopter to leave from New York and go to Philadelphia.
He's openly already said that he's going to be splitting his time between New York and Philly with New York being's primary home that he's here on the East Coast.
And people freaked out just seeing it.
You know, so 45-minute helicopter ride.
I think people were just excited to see him in the commute.
Not to make this dark, but I, you know, I think it's very like people think about Kobe and the helicopter and, you know, that whole thing.
But the Brown was safe and everything was good.
But, yeah, people were just excited.
Philly was really, really, really excited yesterday.
So the energy there, even though it was a preseason game, was off the roof.
People were outside.
When we came in, I was like, oh, it's filled to the brim in here.
I mean, not near a seat empty.
by the time we got there.
And again, I got there in the mist, like in the middle, kind of near the end of the first quarter.
And I was talking to one of the security guards.
And they told me 16,000 people were there yesterday to see LeBron James, to see, you know,
to see Jalen Brown, to see the Sixers, to see the Knicks, to see Jalen Brunton,
to see Cat.
You know, I think for a lot of people, it's like, Carl Anthony Towns is cat.
For a lot of people, it's like, you may not be able to score, you may not be able to score tickets
to the regular season games.
This is going to be a huge season for both the Knicks and for the Sixers because of,
you know, the Knicks and their championship and that whole run they went on.
But then for the Sixers because of all of the, you know, trades and the star power that,
you know, people are excited about with this new team with the Sixers.
So I knew, I'm like, LeBron's not getting on the court, but there will be a lot of people
here, but I didn't expect that many people.
16,000.
And not only did he, because I was like, oh, whoa, is this just,
he was like, yes, crazy amount of people in here.
And I was like, you know, is this crazy for a preseason game?
Like you guys just aren't used to these numbers for a preseason game?
He said no, for any game.
Like preseason, regular season, 16,000 people is insane.
I'm like, yo, Philly is about to be nuts.
You have the people that are going to come out.
Like me, I'm like a casual sporting person.
Like I go, I like to enjoy the drinks, the food, the people that are there.
If it's in the city that I'm not from, well, I'm not from Philly, but like Delaware is like right next to Philly.
So like it's, it was like being home yesterday.
Like I know Philly.
I'm not a tourist in Philly for the most part.
But if it's a place that like I've never been, I want to go.
I want to be a tourist.
I want to have a good time.
And then we also get a chance to watch the game.
But there are people that will come for that and they are expecting a big boost in tourism.
But you also have the people that are honestly just going to come because of the love of the sport.
And Philly Finns is OD.
I was in line going into.
the arena to see the game and I was seeing all the sports fans like showing up with like all their merch
they different ages and a lot of them too what I what I love was you're seeing people so like the kids
are there but it's not just like the kids and their parents it's like the grandparents the parents
the aunts the uncle like people they're out in full families and everybody's their merch head to
toes sneakers um caps t-shirts hoodies everything the way that like
Me being there and thinking about, like, my business and how all of this is, like,
running and how I'm trying to facilitate it.
I'm literally sitting there like, yo, I want the community that I'm building with the low riders
and the cross-branca grinding and, you know, all the things that God has in store for me.
I wanted to feel like how sports fans feel about their teams.
Like, so committed.
Even when we were in line, there was, there was, like, you know how they do, like, their little rivalries, right?
Like, you got people that show up in their next gear, people that show up in their sixers gear.
like the conversations as we were going in
I'm like yo people are so dedicated
to their sports teams and have been
for years and decades no matter if the team is losing
winning whatever
I'm trying to build that type of like
loyalty and like
y'all know what I mean if you guys are sports fans
you understand it and y'all are probably listening
to this like well Lauren where have you been sports fans
have been like this I know my point is
is that now that I'm building a platform of audience
and these things that are keeping me up at night
to the point where I'm tired I'm like oh this
got to make some sense and I wanted to make sense no matter where we go and what we decided to do.
No matter to pivot, I wanted to make sense.
The Sixers have just done a major pivot.
Great for the city, great for the team.
But no matter what would have happened this year with the Sixers in their trades or lack
there of, those fans would have showed up.
Maybe not 16,000, but enough to pay the bills, period.
You've heard the chaos.
Now you can see it.

Oh, and I got a chance to see Jalen Brunson in person as well, too.
Well, duh, because he was there because he's playing.
Jalen Brunson and Mike Brunner coach, where I was sitting at,
they did like a huddle, just like a little sideline conversation,
and they were right there.
And for me, even though I'm not a fan of sports teams and y'all are listening to this,
like, girl, what?
Just seeing them after watching, you know, they did S&L
and all of the, like, culture-related things.
that they did and Fallen and all these conversations
and then seeing them in their element.
I'm watching from the perspective of two,
like, all right, you know,
you got LeBron, who's a superstar here,
Jalen Brown, superstars well,
a bunch of other people on the teams that are superstars.
Jalen Brunson, Mike Brown,
they've come off a championship.
Super, super, super fat.
Like, Jalen Brunson has Law &SVU about to come out.
Just did S&L.
And in that moment, they are there and they are so locked in.
None of that stuff matters.
Keeping the main thing, the main thing was literally the focal point.
Like, I mean, when I, Jalen Brown with the Sixers, like, when I said he was, it was a preseason game.
But when I said he was, like, bawling, I mean, like, dunk it, like going crazy.
And I didn't expect that.
I thought a lot of the bigger names on the team would just be there chilling.
But keeping the main thing, the main thing, because y'all know he'd be on stream, he'd be everywhere.
I got to see that at an all-time high last night.
Like, shout out to the Sixers.
the Knicks for providing some motivation because, baby, I did not want to get up this morning and come into work and record this podcast or do anything.
But I was like, you know what?
If I can enjoy all the perks and the sweets and the things, got to keep the main thing, the main thing.

So speaking of fan bases, y'all, the fans are causing a frenzy online.
Siza!
My girl Siza has the people going crazy right now.
So first of all, Sizer was over in Paris, and it's Fashion Week.
All the girls are outside.
looking beautiful doing all the things, the shows, the front seats, the runways.
Cizza is there show stopping and people are excited because there are photos that were
released via social of her in Farrell in the studio at the LV headquarters.
Now there has been a lot of music that has come out of that LV headquarters.
Everybody's talking about what it's like to go in to that LV headquarters and record
with Farrell and you got, you know, all.
of the actual seamstress and people working in the machines and all the fashion stuff
gone while you're there in this beautiful place in Paris creating this music.
The clips have talked about it.
And that's, you know, they had this major Grammy run with the album that they produced with Farrell.
Cuevo recently talked about it with his album Chrome Life that recently dropped.
Now Siza, we see her in the photos.
We don't know what's coming, but we know something is happening.
Now I told you guys a few episodes back
that I actually got a chance to meet Siza
at Jay-Z and Beyonce's
after party for the JN8 documentary premiere
and while we were there we actually had a conversation
about music and I told her I'm like
honestly I was like debating I was debating
BDott Miller formerly a rap Raider podcast
because he was like you know there's no girls after you
talking to Siza and I'm like that's because
y'all music people talk like that
she has created such a lane there's mad girls right now in that space
y'all just don't pay them no mind it took y'all years the love says of the way that we should have from the very
beginning how her fans did period period and i was i felt so good been able to say that in front of her
and to her because i know what it's like like everybody saw these pictures i know what it's like to
know you to like know you got the sauce but people just don't understand the taste okay
it ain't for everybody it takes a way for everybody but i think a lot of times though especially in work
and in life, people need to hear these things.
They really need to hear these things.
So, yeah, but I say all that to say.
When these photos started to circulate online, people are hype,
anticipating scissors next project and what the music is going to sound like.
And baby, Cizor is one of the ones.
And I'm glad to see people excited.
But I always think about all the things that she's had to endure through as a real
creative and a real artist who loves and is sensitive about her ish.
because, you know, things, the music was always good.
The visuals were always good.
The aesthetic was always fire.
People talking about, you know, her and, you know, some of her looks at Fashion Week.
Cizza has been that girl.
But I think the world has arrived now to knowing that.
And it's just crazy to me how those things happen.
She also talked about while she was in Paris paying homage to Solange.
Salange is another creative and artist that I look at and I admire.
or she is on my vision board.
People I would love to sit down
and have a conversation with,
but work with and learn from.
Because I think with Salonge,
it's another one of those things
where, like, her art comes from like a deeper place.
She's not doing nothing,
whether it's creative, it's business,
that doesn't come from a deeper place,
and it's something that she feels like
is going to enrich the world,
but also just feed her spirit
and enrich her spirit,
and that is a life that I aspire to.
Let's take a listen to Siza talking about her makeup.
Makeup reference.
It was like,
Half salamage, half, just energy and vibes.
I love a high energy color.
I'm usually in fuchsia, but I'm a hot-ass pink today.
And I feel lifted energetically and literally.
On the internet?
The internet is low-key scaring me.
I don't know what's real.
And so it's hard to be obsessed with things because I'm like,
is this real?
But also, I don't know, I'm seeing a lot of cute animals.
As usual, it's what's keeping me not infuriated.
A lot of cute, random animals.
Elephants is my new shit.
They are very, very sweet and cute, and I love it.
They'll also stomp you out.
Baby, salonsch has been the inspo.
And y'all know the crazy thing?
I saw this makeup trend trending because of fashion week.
And, you know, I don't know if it was Belenziaga or Gucci that did the oven way with a lot of the, like, shadowy eyes.
They were calling the clean girl look, the clean cut look.
and I love when we can pay homage to the girls
who actually made these things the thing
okay shout out to salange
another thing though that fans have been circulating
with Siza is the fact that
there's a rumored conversation
that she may be in the lineup
to headline Coachella
now that would be insane
I did think though
you know with Siza because I think with
Coachella it's normally like
when I have experienced Coachella
it's like an artist who can like
it's the energy it's the jumping up and down
It's, you know, like festival vibes.
Siza got them hit.
She got the records, but
Cizza's a mood.
And I don't know if that mood,
Coachella is worthy of that mood.
I was going to say if she fits,
but I don't even know if it's that.
I just don't know if that's like,
I don't know if I can see Cizza doing Coachella
only because I think the way she sets up
her stages and the mood that you get
from seeing her perform.
I went to go see her when she was on the GNX tour.
She was co-headlining with Kendrick Lamar.
I don't know if Coachella is a place for it.
I don't know if it will,
be received well in that space
because people want something else. They want to jump
up and down. They want to mash pit. They want to
dance. You can dance as this and
you know all the things but the energy is it's different
and I don't even
I would have to figure out like what her set list
would be if she were to do it
because she got them hits but
I don't know if the hits that she has
is a Coachella
based audience.
And for those of you guys who have never been a Coachella, it's a
festival that happens in California.
The part of California that it happens in
It's called Coachella, which is why the festival is called that.
It happens all weekend.
They have various stages throughout the weekend with headliner and, you know, big acts closing out the weekend.
But it's a big deal.
In the last few years, I feel like that's honestly, I would say two years.
It hasn't made the noise that I am used to it making.
I know last year people were talking about Justin Bieber and the fact that he performed
and was literally playing songs from his YouTube channel.
I mean, but look, even with that,
Justin Bieber, people weren't mad that he did
a lot of his, like, melodic, more moody songs.
And that's a lot with Siza Hasl, so maybe she could.
People were upset that he performed them directly
and straight off of YouTube.
Like, he was playing YouTube videos
and just covering the YouTube videos.
That's the people were more upset about,
not the actual choice, because he has that cult,
I'm trying to tell you all, that cult community
following an audience where they don't care where he had.
They come in, they come in in drones.
So maybe Sisa could.
This record is on.

Do I have what it takes?
I'm Emily Abadi, and on hurdle with Emily Abadi, we dive into the grit, vulnerability,
and mindset that fuels our greatest comebacks.
I talk to elite athletes, Olympic champions, industry change makers, and everyday runners
about how they face self-doubt, redefine success, and keep moving forward when life gets heavy.
I'd just love to say I never know who's watching.
So you want to make sure you, you through and through, and you just stay true to who you are.
Yeah, your path might change because different things come on your path to disrupt it,
but it's just putting you on a new path and the skills you have to have faith at the skills that you've learned and developed over time
are going to continue to bring you success.
When the world is burning and crashing around you, will you still say fight for your dream?
Will you still say it's possible?
Will you still believe you're a good person?
Can you still see the brighter side of tomorrow?
It's motivation, real talk, and practical wisdom.
life on and off the run. Listen to Hurtle with Emily Abadi on the IHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or

So we met with a lot of larger farmers, went from Bahia to Tokitans to Montegrozzo.
And he brought a team of executives. They were going to help the country get in on a gold rush.
Carbon and its derivatives are going to be really the next great commodity that the globe's going to trade.
But back home in Iowa, trouble was brewing.
If you live in Iowa, your land, your water, and your voice could all be at risk thanks to a man named Bruce Rastetter.
Now, people are questioning if his climate solutions have anything to do with climate at all.
You got to give Bruce as a guy's credit.
They're Republican kids. They don't give a shit of money.
On this season of drilled, Carbon Cowboys, the story of how the ethanol kingpin of Iowa became the king of corn in Brazil.
and what it tells us about the limits of technology and markets to solve the climate crisis.

And the most haunting thing about that is you can't outwork talent.
And comedian Hassan Minaj shared where he met his now wife.
I was like, was our experience like a frat?
It's like, no.
Because in frats, like everyone is having sex, but no one is in love.
But on the competitive Bollywood dance team, everyone's in love but no one's having sex.

You will have hell to pay.
For nine months, someone infiltrated every aspect of Carl's life threatening to ruin him.
Cyberstalking, swatting, extortion, impersonation.
And then the text threats escalated.
Someone's not going to make it out of this alive.
It's playing out in real life, not just on the phone.
Every piece of evidence pointed to one man.
But every piece of evidence.
was a lie.
He was not going to stop unless we stopped him.

Also on that list, though, speculated is Drake and Radiohead as well, too.
Drake, I mean, I think Drake would be phenomenal, Coachella.
Radiohead, I'm not a huge rocker, but, you know, there are a few songs that, you know, we learned through, like,
commercials or whatever from these rock groups.
But yeah, they said that.
They mean like, who they?
What is being reported by some music outlets is that BTS was actually in the conversation
for Coachella, but the negotiations fell through.
BTS definitely has that audience.
I'll talk to y'all about them when we left the IHeart Radio Music Festival in Vegas.
Their audience literally wants to be in their skin.
all 50 trillion million of them.
It is insane.
But nothing officially announced yet.
