I'm the homegirl that knows a little bit about everything and everybody.
You hear that exclusive?
You know if you don't lie about that, right? Lauren came in hot.
Hey, y'all, it's Lauren LaRosa.
And this is the latest with Lauren LaRosa.
Everything you need, entertainment news, exclusives
and the conversations that shake the room.
Today, I'm bringing you guys an update live
outside of the courthouse.
Love to take you out to court.
Where Sean Diddy Combs is awaiting
to find out what 12 people will say happens
for the rest of his life.
Now, when I say 12 people,
I'm talking, of course, about the jury.
Now, the jury has been in deliberations.
Now, at this point, it is after 3 is after 3pm on June 30th, 2025 for over a half hours. So what happened this morning
in court was the judge gave the jury instructions. One of the issues that came up in court today
was jury number 25 got to the back where they're debating on, you know, guilty not guilty and
said I don't need to I don't need to do this, I don't need to, I don't need to do
this.
I don't need to sit and have these conversations.
So it's inferred that that juror already knows how they feel, whether it's guilty or not
guilty.
So there was a jury note that came and Diddy's attorneys and the prosecution with the judge
considered this jury note.
Prosecution was saying, look, this juror is gonna be a problem
because this juror is not following your instructions, judge.
This juror does not wanna sit
and have the conversations with the rest of the jury.
Diddy's team is saying, look, when we read this note,
we don't read this as this juror cannot follow instructions.
The minute I heard that, I said, oh, this is a juror
that the defense feels like is going
to be a diddy juror.
The judge says, I don't want to be the judge that tells a jury member, you can't determine
how you feel in whatever amount of time.
Okay, so now wait real quick.
Another thing that happened after we actually filmed this video.
So a little bit after four o'clock, close to the five o'clock, there was another jury
note that was brought out
from the jurors from the chamber they were in as they were
deliberating. Now in this second note, it asked about drug
distribution. Question was, if an individual acts for a control
substance and the person hands it over, is it distribution? As
the prosecution is trying to argue that it doesn't have to
mean that you have a ton of drugs that you're
moving place to place state to state between people, you could
have a personal amount of drugs but if given to someone that is
considered distribution. Now, if I'm being completely honest
with you guys, I think that this question right here might give
us a hint to what juror 25 issue is right because
it can go one of two ways juror 25 could be somebody who is like I already know
how I feel I don't need to sit here go get in these conversations consider
things with you guys I already know how I feel and that can be messing up the
process of how the jury is deliberating based on how they're you know like
whatever they whatever
their process is going down that that uh that sheet that they were given or maybe it's that
not even that the juror is actually decided maybe the juror is undecided and everyone
else is decided so this clarifying question is very telling it doesn't tell you exactly
who's asking it it just says that it comes from the jury but i think that it's very telling
that these are the first two questions from the jury that we get literally within hours.
That first note came within not even an hour or so of the deliberations. I think we're getting
close to a verdict. The judge dismissed the jury today and told them you know,
pray your request because they get to set their own schedule now. We're going to adjourn you guys.
It's 5 p.m. You can go home. You'll get the answer to that question tomorrow. So we'll have to wait tomorrow
to see how the question is answered. Of course, the government is saying like tell them yes,
that's the answer to the question. Diddy's team is saying look we're not for sure how we want that
worded but naturally Agnifilo says naturally, I believe we're going to object
to the way that that question is answered.
Like we don't wanna just go with what the government is
saying, so they'll figure it out.
The jury will get the answer to that question first thing
in the morning, and then they'll go straight back
to deliberations.
They're not even gonna come into the courtroom.
When they get there at 9 a.m. tomorrow,
they'll just go right into deliberation.
So now we wait.
It's a waiting game now.
People keep asking me when do I think it'll come down.
I think we will definitely have it by Wednesday, latest Thursday before the holiday because
I think these jurors want to go home.
I don't think people understand how taxing it is to be here.
And I'm just someone sitting in the overflow room in the main court on good days and I've
been exhausted.
I've been tired. It's a lot of information information I can't imagine being a jury member so I know
that they want to get out of here I know they want to get home so I do believe
that this will happen before the holiday but at this point we just wait that's
all we can do I'm Lauren LaRosa bringing you the latest with Lauren LaRosa at the
end of the day they are there's so much to talk about in so many places that you
guys could be talking about it
and learning and listening to it.
But all of my low riders, y'all are always right here with me.
I appreciate you guys for that.
I will see you in my next episode.
