Starting point is 00:02:57 Breakfast Club, bitches. Good morning, USA! I kept thinking it was Monday Nah, today is Tuesday Of course yesterday was a holiday Juneteenth So we were off Hopefully you guys got that extra day of rest And just got to relax And just whatever you needed to do Yeah, a lot of people still had to work yesterday
Starting point is 00:03:36 Really? Mm-hmm I thought it was like a holiday holiday No, it is It is a real holiday But, you know, people still were working Okay Well, I was in Houston all weekend.
Starting point is 00:03:46 Shout out to everybody that came out to my car show over the weekend. Sounds like you're losing your voice. I am. I mean, I was out there all weekend long. There was over 16,000 people. It was just amazing. The Houston vs. New York car show. Houston showed up.
Starting point is 00:04:02 What I'm talking about, there was so many people, so many cars, so many kids, so many families, so many fathers on Father's Day. We had an amazing time. Did Houston blow New York out the water? Yeah, absolutely.
Starting point is 00:04:14 They were supposed to. They were absolutely supposed to. You said it was supposed to. Yes, I mean, it's their town. So shout to Trader Truth. Shout to Lynn's Garage and Turkey Lake Hut. I ate at Turkey Lake Hut
Starting point is 00:04:25 all weekend long. When I say I wasn't a big turkey fan, I don't eat turkey. It's not something I order on a regular. But I was there since I think last Thursday and I went to Turkey Lake Hut twice a day to eat turkey. That's how good that restaurant is. If you get a chance to check it out, shout to
Starting point is 00:04:41 Lynn and his wife Slim. Had an amazing time. Also shout out to Bun B who wife, Slim. Had an amazing time. Also, shout out to Bun B, who stopped through. Slim Thug. Mr. Rogers. I'm trying to think of anybody else I'm missing. Beto O'Rourke pulled up on us. It was just so many people.
Starting point is 00:04:58 So I just want to say shout out to Houston. We had a great time. If you were at the car show, we appreciate you. No incidents, no problems, nothing. Just a lot of family, a lot of fun, and that's how it's supposed to be. So, again, shout out to Houston. The next one is the next stop is Atlanta. So if you missed out on Houston, you don't want to miss out on Atlanta.
Starting point is 00:05:16 We're doing something special for Atlanta. We're actually bringing, we're going to make it feel like an Atlanta skating rink. So we're going to bring a skating rink in the car show and kind of do the cars around the skating rink so you can actually skate. And you'll see the cars from Atlanta, cars from New York, cars from the South, exotics, old school. It's going to be pretty dope. So if you haven't got your tickets, get your tickets now. And how was your weekend, Yeezy? It was good.
Starting point is 00:05:41 It was a lot. I got an award from Alpha Fraternity Incorporated. Incorporated? I did that. And yesterday, there was a lot of Juneteenth galas over the weekend. Let's just say that. That's dope. Yeah, so we had a good weekend just doing those things. I actually went out to one of my favorite restaurants in Brooklyn, The Grill, because Donnell Rawlings, Earthquake, Bill Bellamy, they were all in Brooklyn doing a comedy show.
Starting point is 00:06:07 And so they all came to Negril afterwards. I saw everybody there. Lala was there also. But yeah, I had a good weekend. Shout out to the New York Association of Black Journalists, too. I was at their Juneteenth
Starting point is 00:06:18 gala yesterday. I gave out awards for their gala. But it was a good weekend. All right. And shout out to everybody at the NRG Center, NRG Convention Center, that helped me put this together, and the fire marshals and the police and everybody that pulled up to make sure the event was safe.
Starting point is 00:06:34 I want to say thank you to you guys. And everybody at that Hotel Blossom. Our Hotel Blossom in Houston is a new hotel that they hosted it for me, and they helped me out so much. I had so much family that came into town because, of course, I'm not from Houston, so I had to have people come help me work, and they really helped me out. So shout out to Blossom. All right, let's get the show cracking.
Starting point is 00:06:53 Front page news, what we talking about? Well, let's talk about Juneteenth. We'll tell you what our president and vice president were doing for Juneteenth as they were celebrating. All right. Also, yesterday, Beyonce dropped a single. It's called Break My Soul. It's another holiday.
Starting point is 00:07:08 So if you haven't heard it, we're going to get it on right now. It's not your typical R&B joint, but we'll get into it. We'll talk about it after the joint. It's The Breakfast Club. Good morning. All right. Beyonce, Break My Soul. Those are heavy, I feel like,
Starting point is 00:07:25 Jersey-influenced records, right? Yeah, what's going on? I don't know what's going on. Same thing with Drake's album. Heavily influenced by Jersey. I know. It's the new movie. Kind of a little Baltimore, a little Chicago as well.
Starting point is 00:07:35 I love it. It's different. I love it. But let's get into some front-page news. Where we starting, Yeezy? I thought you were going to start with some sports. Ain't no real sports right now. This is the area between, you know, basketball just faded out.
Starting point is 00:07:49 Baseball, they got a zillion games to the playoffs. And then football hasn't started yet. So you don't care about hockey? Me? No. I see people are saying Kyrie Irving might be going to the Knicks or to the Lakers. That's what they've been saying, but we don't know yet. They're in negotiations and conversations right now, but we'll see. All right.
Starting point is 00:08:11 Now, Joe Biden marked Juneteenth as a day of profound weight and power. You know, he posted on Twitter, the emancipation of enslaved black Americans was not the end of our nation's work to deliver on the promise of equality. It was only the beginning on Juneteenth. We recommit to our shared work to ensure racial justice, equity, and equality in America. One year ago, I had the great honor of signing legislation to establish Juneteenth as a national holiday, a day to celebrate, to educate, and to act. And here's what else he said. One of the great honors I've had as president was to sign the bill making Juneteenth a national holiday for the first new federal holiday since Martin Luther King Day nearly four decades ago. And it matters. It mattered to me and it matters to the country. Juneteenth marks both the long, hard night of slavery and subjugation and the promise
Starting point is 00:08:56 of a brighter morning to come. You know, great nations don't, they just don't ignore the most painful moments in their history. They embrace them to heal and grow stronger. And we're a great nation, but it's simply not enough to commemorate Juneteenth. To honor the true meaning of Juneteenth, we must never rest until we deliver the promise of America to all Americans. That's what Kamala and I and our administration are committed to do.
Starting point is 00:09:19 All right. You guys saw him fall off his bike also? Oh man, I know he saw it this week. And if you haven't seen it, he was riding his bike and he stopped. And it wasn't like he had the, I call them the cleats, but, you know, he didn't have to click in. But he had his regular bike and boy, did he fall over. I know he's hurting right now. He's aching. It's like a slow fall.
Starting point is 00:09:36 A slow snowfall. He's in pain. All right. And Kamala Harris also surprised children at the African-American History Museum for Juneteenth. So that's what she was doing over the weekend. And Joe Biden said he is nearing decisions on a gas tax holiday and student loans. It was $120 for me to fill my car up. Yeah, which I don't understand. They were saying that these gas companies, this is the most money the gas companies have made.
Starting point is 00:10:03 And, you know, if they're making all this money, I don't understand why we can't lower the prices a little bit. You know, they said that they were going to go into the reserves to release some fuel. They made it seem like because of what's going on overseas, it's harder to get oil. It's more expensive. But if gas companies are making this much money, doesn't it seem like a little crazy? Yeah, and they're talking about giving, about giving gas tax credits and all kinds of stuff just to make the price lower.
Starting point is 00:10:27 I mean, I don't need to get a credit later on or a rebate card. They're talking about rebate cards for gas. That's one of the things that they are considering. But, I mean, it's crazy. The nationwide average for gas is just under $5 per gallon right now. Yeah, it makes no sense. Very expensive. I just don't understand. I don't want to see anybody go out of
Starting point is 00:10:46 business. I don't want to see gas companies lose. But if this is the most money they made, that just sounds like they're overcharging people or they're getting over on people. Alright, well that is your front page news. Get it off your chest. 800-585-1051 If you need to vent, let us know how your weekend
Starting point is 00:11:02 was. Again, 800- 585-1051. Vent. Get it off your chest. It's The Breakfast Club. Good morning. The Breakfast Club. Wake up.
Starting point is 00:11:13 Wake up. Wake your ass up. This is your time to get it off your chest. Whether you're mad or blessed, we want to hear from you on The Breakfast Club. Hello, who's this? Hello, MB. It's Janae from Jersey. We want to hear from you on The Breakfast Blast. Hello, who's this? Hello, MB. It's Janae from Jersey. Hey, Janae from Jersey.
Starting point is 00:11:29 How are you? How you doing? I'm good. How are you, Anjali? Good morning, Janae. How you feeling? I'm a little mad. How you mad?
Starting point is 00:11:37 So we celebrated Juneteenth yesterday. It was at American Dream Mall. Mm-hmm. And they totally profited over us. They took us for $25 to get in. They sold over 10,000 tickets. At the 4 p.m., they stopped letting people in, or they started letting people in without tickets.
Starting point is 00:11:56 What was going on there? They had a huge event like they did last year at Liberty State Park, which was completely free. You could bring your own tent, your own chairs, your own food, grills, liquor. This year, you couldn't bring anything. You had to pay for everything. You had to pay to get in. The vendors couldn't even sell
Starting point is 00:12:15 bottles of water. What? American Dream Mall was selling waters for $8. Oh my, so they really trying to capitalize and profit off of Juneteenth now. Already. They completely did. Year two. Everybody who didn't get in could not even get a refund. They've been contacting them, trying to dispute their tickets.
Starting point is 00:12:33 People got trampled over. It was a mess. Was it a private event where a promoter took over and it was a party? Or was it just with a... It was a public event. They posted it on Instagram. They had it last year. It was huge.
Starting point is 00:12:47 We knew it was going to be huge this year. It was just completely expensive. Hookahs were $60. Refills were $30. Drinks were $20. Oh, my gosh. That doesn't sound like the American dream. That sounds like an outside promoter rented that spot out and charged y'all.
Starting point is 00:13:01 It was the American nightmare. Because I don't think they would have hookah there. You know what I mean? I mean, maybe they, who knows? It's crazy because my friend Jamil, she's from Jersey, and she was telling me, she was like, yeah, we're talking about going to American. That wasn't an American dream.
Starting point is 00:13:15 I'm looking at it right now. That's a promoter. So what a promoter does is a promoter rents out that place. Let's say they charge them $40,000 rent out the place. So that's who that promoter was. It wasn't the actual mall. Well, they claim it was the mall that was profiting. They created their own bar.
Starting point is 00:13:32 That's the one with Just Blaze was DJing and all that? Yes. Yeah, no, no. That was a promoter. I'm looking at the flyer right now. I believe that was a promoter. Don't, don't. Damn, I'm so sorry for you, mama.
Starting point is 00:13:46 Yeah, it was really the vendors that got hit hard the most. They were told that they weren't allowed to sell soft drinks, waters for people to stay hydrated. The mall completely profited. They sold waters for $8, and then they went up to like $12. It was a mess. Wow. Well, I'm sorry for you, mama.
Starting point is 00:14:05 Thank you, guys. I just wanted to get it off my chest. All right. I'm sorry you didn't have a good experience. It says here by 3 p.m., more than 10,000 people had got to the mall. Yeah, I think that's a promoter that did that. I'm looking at it right now online.
Starting point is 00:14:17 Yeah, it looks like it's a promoter that did that because they have a bunch of events coming up. Can I give a shout-out? Yeah, go ahead. I want to shout-out my bae, Shamar. I want to shout out my bae, Shamar. I want to shout out my sister, Jalen. I want to shout out all my friends. And I'm PrettyJanae from Instagram.
Starting point is 00:14:32 Follow me. All righty, mama. Have a good one. Thank you. You too. Get it off your chest. 800-585-1051. If you need to vent, hit us up now.
Starting point is 00:14:41 It's The Breakfast Club. Good morning. The Breakfast Club. Hey, guys. I'm Kate Max. As a kid, I really do remember having these dreams and visions, but you just don't know what is going to come for you. Alicia Keys opens up about conquering doubt, learning to trust herself, and leaning into her dreams. I think a lot of times we are built to doubt the possibilities for ourselves.
Starting point is 00:16:09 For self-preservation and protection, it was literally that step by step. And so I discovered that that is how we get where we're going. This increment of small, determined moments. Alicia shares her wisdom on growth, gratitude, and the power of love. I forgive myself. It's okay.
Starting point is 00:16:30 Like grace. Have grace with yourself. You're trying your best. And you're going to figure out the rhythm of this thing. Alicia Keys, like you've never heard her before. Listen to On Purpose with Jay Shetty on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
Starting point is 00:16:46 Is your country falling apart? Feeling tired, depressed, a little bit revolutionary? Consider this. Start your own country. I planted the flag. I just kind of looked out of like, this is mine. I own this. It's surprisingly easy. There are 55 gallons of water for 500 pounds of concrete.
Starting point is 00:17:03 Everybody's doing it. I am King Ernest Emmanuel. I am the Queen of Ladonia. I'm Jackson I, King of Kaperburg. I am the Supreme Leader of the Grand Republic of Mentonia. Be part of a great colonial tradition. Why can't I trade my own country? My forefathers did that themselves. What could go wrong?
Starting point is 00:17:19 No country willingly gives up their territory. I was making a rocket with a black powder, you know, with explosive warhead. Oh my God. What is that? Bullets. Bullets. We need help! We need help!
Starting point is 00:17:31 We still have the off-road portion to go. Listen to Escape from Zakistan. And we're losing daylight fast. That's Escape from Z-A-Q-istan on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Hey, what's up? This is Ramses Jha. And I go by the name Q Ward.

Daphne Caruana Galizia was a Maltese investigative journalist who, on October 16, 2017, was murdered. There are crooks everywhere you look now. The situation is desperate.
Starting point is 00:19:01 My name is Manuel Delia. I am one of the hosts of Crooks Everywhere, a podcast that unhurts the plot to murder a one-woman Wikileaks. Daphne exposed the culture of crime and corruption that were turning her beloved country into a mafia state. And she paid the ultimate price. Listen to Crooks Everywhere on the iHeartRadio app apple podcasts or wherever you get your podcasts this is your time to get it off your chest whether you're mad or blessed
Starting point is 00:19:42 so you better have the same energy we We want to hear from you on The Breakfast Club. Hello, who's this? Here, it's Mello. What's the word, bro? Mello, what up? Get it off your chest, brother. Mello. What's the word, man? Listen, I have a serious question, man. I just want to know, why is it that on special occasions and that when any time a man steps up, the only gift we usually get is sex?
Starting point is 00:20:05 But if we do that with your birthday on special occasions, we ain't, like, you know what I mean? I can't curse, but you know what I mean. You know how it's going with that. So you just got sex for Father's Day? That's it? Nah, I'm not talking about me.
Starting point is 00:20:16 Actually, this came up in a clubhouse room. I don't have these problems. But they want to know. If people want to know, they need an answer, I want an answer too. Because I do hear that a lot though. Women like,
Starting point is 00:20:26 guess what else you finna get? Like, I just bought you a store and a Birkin and this is all I'm gonna get for that? You bought somebody a Birkin, Mello? Wow, Mello. No,
Starting point is 00:20:35 but not me, like I said. None of this is you. Exactly, I'm just asking the question. That's all I'm saying. I'm just, don't shoot the messenger.
Starting point is 00:20:43 My goodness. I don't know. I mean, I've never heard of such a thing. Well, Mello, why don't you return the favor? For Mother's Day, you say, you know what? I'm going to give you some D for Mother's Day and see how that works out. And it's not going to work out. I'm not even going to put myself in that situation.
Starting point is 00:20:58 Yeah, don't. It's not going to work out. No, but I think, I mean, I know that we all should like thoughtful presents, and I'd like to give gifts, too. So if you feel like somebody's not appreciative of you and not showing you that they care and not being thoughtful, you know, that's more of an issue than anything. Now, for some guys, they might enjoy sex as a present.
Starting point is 00:21:17 Hello, who's this? It's your chef. Hey, get it off your chest. Yes. I hardly ever do anything for myself because I'm only doing it for my kids. And the other day, I decided to go get my nails done. Got the money out. Went to go get my nails done.
Starting point is 00:21:34 But I had to go to the pharmacy and pick up my medication. They're talking about with the shooting of the school that it's all about mental health. If it's about mental health, why do they make medications so expensive? My coping alone for the medication that I need for my mental health was $100. Wow. And it took, and the money I was going to use to get my nails done, something I never do for myself, but I do my nails at home, I had to use that to pay for my medication.
Starting point is 00:22:07 I mean, it's sad that people out here, we keep talking about mental health, but they can't afford mental health. Right. Because, you know, I'm taking money that I want to do something for myself to go pay for a medication that I desperately need for my mental health. But yet you, y'all keep saying it's yet you all keep saying it's a mental health issue. It's a mental health issue. If it's a mental health issue, well, make mental health medication and clinics a little
Starting point is 00:22:34 bit cheaper so people can afford it. Or give them some kind of Medicaid or something. Because this is ridiculous to pay for $100 co-payment for this medication. And then the lady had to tell me when I went to pay for it, oh, you're lucky because the medication actually is $1,500. Wow. Wow. Well, I'm so sorry, Mama.
Starting point is 00:22:53 You're right. These pharmaceutical companies really profit off of people having to go and get their medication. And I hate that you had to make that decision. My nails or my medication. You know, it's necessary. You know, I'd rather have my mental health in check than, you know, nails decision. My nails or my medication. It's necessary. I'd rather have my mental health in check than nails. I can always do my nails at home. But this was an opportunity for me to do something for myself.
Starting point is 00:23:13 Not for my child. Get the stress and everything. And you know, that's important for your mental health too. To do things, self-care, to take care of yourself. Yeah, but medication is more important. So I have to give one things self-care to take care of yourself yeah but you know medication is more important so you know i have to give one thing up for another i'm just you know a little aggravated that that lawmakers keep talking about you know mental health and mental health this mental health that but they're not doing anything about the mental health well do you have a cash app or
Starting point is 00:23:40 something you want to give out maybe people want to donate so you can get your nails taken care of? I think it's SHA 4377. Okay. All right, Mama. Get it off your chest. 800-585-1051. Now, we got rumors on the way in? Yes, and Tina Noe says Beyonce
Starting point is 00:23:59 has been working on this new project she's about to drop for two years. All right, we'll get into that next. It's The Breakfast Club. Good morning. The Breakfast Club. Hey, guys. I'm Kate Max. You might know me from my popular online series, The Running Interview Show,

So take the failures I've had the second or even third or whatever, maybe the fourth time around. I'm Jenny Garth. 29 years ago, Kelly Taylor said these words, I choose me.

And we are, well, not necessarily relationship experts. If you're ready to dive back into the dating pool and find lasting love. Finally, we want to help. Starting point is 00:28:07 Apple Podcasts, or wherever you listen to podcasts. Hi, I'm Marie. And I'm Sydney. And we're mess. Well, not a mess, but on our podcast called Mess, we celebrate all things messy. But the gag is not everything is a mess. Sometimes it's just living. Yeah. Things like JLo on her third divorce. Living. Girls trip
Starting point is 00:28:32 to Miami. Mess. Ozempic. Messy, skinny living. Restaurants stealing a birthday cake. Mess. Wait, what flavor was the cake though? Okay, that's a good question. Hooking up with someone in accounting and then getting a promotion. Living. Breaking up with your girlfriend while on Instagram Live. Living.
Starting point is 00:28:54 It's kind of mess. Yeah. Well, you get it. Got it? Live, love, mess. Listen to Mess with Sydney Washington and Marie Faustin
Starting point is 00:29:01 on iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. This is the Rumor Report with Angela Yee. All right, well, Beyoncé's new song, Break My Soul, came out, and people are really excited. Of course, the Beehive has
Starting point is 00:29:26 embraced this song. It's a different kind of sounding song for her. It's like a they're calling it a disco house song. Yeah, it sounds like New Jersey house music a little bit to me. Right. And people have said they're ready to quit their jobs because Beyonce said so. That's one of the running jokes
Starting point is 00:29:41 that's been going on. But I also saw people saying that Drake is making the same type of music and everyone was critical of him, but they're excited about Beyonce. No, I've seen them criticizing Beyonce too. I've seen a lot of people saying they don't like Beyonce's new joint or Drake's album. But I mean, it's an acquired taste.
Starting point is 00:29:58 It's not something that people are used to. The only reason I think I like both of them is because I live in New York and I DJ in Jersey all the time. And when you see people react to these types of music and dance, I see what it is. Like I said, I was over the weekend. I was in Houston. And when they played Sticky by Drake, the strip club went crazy.
Starting point is 00:30:15 Like crazy. Like through the roof. So I was at Area 29 in Houston. Shout out to Chris and Eric. And when they played that record. It was Sticky. It was Sticky. It got crazy.
Starting point is 00:30:25 Well, Beyonce's mom, Tina Lawson, reveals that Beyonce's been working on this upcoming project for two years. She told Entertainment Tonight, I'm very, very excited. I just posted recently that I really miss her singing, and I do.
Starting point is 00:30:37 I'm as excited as everybody else. I can't wait for you guys to hear it. She put two years of love into this many, many nights, all night working, so I can't wait for the world to hear it. Hopefully she has some R&B music and it's not fully that, but I'm not mad at it. Since we talked about Drake a second ago, he also has some Honestly
Starting point is 00:30:55 Nevermind merch that's going to be coming out. He's teasing that too on his social media. He put it on his Instagram story, so you can get ready for that. It is going to be a number one debut album. They said it looks like it's going to be between 210,000 to 230,000 units the first week. That seems light for Drake. I would expect a lot more. But it's also a surprise album that he was
Starting point is 00:31:16 like, midnight, this is coming out. Well, it's not necessarily a rap album. And it's a surprise. It was no promotions, no teasing. That's great numbers. That is still great numbers. I'm sorry. 210, 230,000 with no promo, no sing, like nothing. That's great.
Starting point is 00:31:31 It's still Drake, though. Yeah. Drake is the biggest rapper. Do we agree that? He's the biggest rapper out? Yeah, but I don't think those numbers are bad. I would think more for Drake. But I think it's because it's not the typical Drake album, but yeah.
Starting point is 00:31:44 Omarion and Mario are set for the next Versus battle, so get ready for Drake. But I think it's because it's not the typical Drake album, but yeah. Omarion and Mario are set for the next Versus battle, so get ready for that. It's been announced. And that's going to be happening on Thursday in LA.
Starting point is 00:31:53 It'll be streamed, of course, on Versus Digital Platforms. And so, yes. Question. Mm-hmm. No disrespect. When somebody says no disrespect,
Starting point is 00:32:03 it's usually disrespect, right? Yeah. No disrespect. Like, okay, Omarion,'s usually disrespect, right? Yeah. No disrespect. Like, okay, Omarion, I get it, right? Omarion, does he have 20 records? I think so because he also has B2K, right? Mm-hmm. Does Mario have 20 records?
Starting point is 00:32:14 I'm going to have to Google. If you've got to Google, that's a problem. No, because that always happens. Name five. Sometimes a lot of people. Mario's a good dude, but name five. That's my guy, but name five. I mean, sometimes, you know, I always have to do this.
Starting point is 00:32:26 Sometimes you don't realize how many songs somebody has until you go online and you're like, okay, let me see. I could probably do three, four Mario records. Go ahead, you're a DJ, so you should really know. But I can't do 10 Mario records. Can y'all do 10 Mario records? Let's hear it. No, I don't know.
Starting point is 00:32:42 I honestly don't know, that's why I'm asking you. Let me see. Of course, Crying Out For Me. That's a big song. How does that go? Sing it for me. I could hear your heart crying out for me. Okay.
Starting point is 00:32:55 All right. That's one. Got two. How Do I Breathe? Okay. Three. And of course, Just A Friend. Let Me Love You.
Starting point is 00:33:01 That's Let Me Love You. Yep. Three. Go. Four. First of all, you're the DJ. I said I can't. That's what I'm telling you, I can't.
Starting point is 00:33:09 But yeah, I really got to go through it. But that is going to be happening on Thursday. All right. And Regé-Jean Page is in talks to return to Bridgerton for season three after he did not do the second season, according to reports he's been discussing coming back. And I think that'll be exciting. Remember, you were trying really hard to take his place. I was trying.
Starting point is 00:33:28 But everybody shut it down so it looks like he could still be coming back so that'll be really dope. Bridgerton's second season was quiet out there. I'm not gonna lie. I love the first season. I still have not seen the second season. I was just saying that yesterday when I was doing my research. All the women out there weren't watching it because
Starting point is 00:33:43 Reggie Tone wasn't there. Reggie Tone. Reggie Jean Page. Yeah, Reggie T was doing my research. All the women out there weren't watching it because Reggie Tone wasn't there. Reggie Tone. Reggie Jean Page. Yeah, Reggie Tone wasn't there. You should have hired me. All right, now her is suing her label, MBK Entertainment. And they said that she's suing them for the rights to her music catalog. She's suing for declaratory relief and violation of the business and professions code.
Starting point is 00:34:05 She signed a recording agreement with them in 2011. She was only 14 years old at the time. And the owner of the label, Jeff Robinson, became her manager and then fired the law firm that first represented her. And I guess there's a lot of things going on behind the scenes. But she said that lawyers took 5% of the deals they negotiated but did not have a written fee agreement or a conflict waiver signed by her and said that they performed the services as a favor
Starting point is 00:34:31 to Jeff Robinson, who was paid 20% commission for each of those deals. And then Sierra is also asking her label for her Masters after they didn't believe Level Up would be successful. She said that when she showed her label her plans for Level Up and her project, they did not seem interested. And so she was telling ABC News they hosted a Sound of Freedom, a Juneteenth celebration with several celebrities. She said owning her masters has given her a sense of freedom
Starting point is 00:34:57 and being able to move and create as she sees fit. She said the song Level Up, she had a whole vision for the project, sat down, talked to the CEO at that time, and she said it was like he made up his mind as she sees fit. She said the song Level Up. She had a whole vision for the project. Sat down, talked to the CEO at that time, and she said it was like he made up his mind before I came into the room. He was not checking for it. So amazingly enough, they did give her her master's. She said they gave it to her for free.
Starting point is 00:35:16 So I let you know they didn't believe it all. It was that easy, and I was ready. Oh, that doesn't happen on every case. That really doesn't happen. That doesn't happen usually at all. All right, well, that is your rumor report. All right. We got front page news next.
Starting point is 00:35:27 What are we talking about? Yes. And we are going to be talking about voting rights. You know, I see early voting already happening in New York. And we'll talk about New York passing a landmark voting rights legislation. All right. We'll get into that next. It's The Breakfast Club.
Starting point is 00:35:40 Good morning. The Breakfast Club. Your mornings will never be the same. Leaving a child in a hot vehicle can lead to their death very quickly. Set cell phone reminders or place something you'll need in the back seat so you don't forget your child is in the car. Look for your baby before you lock. Paid for by NHTSA. Hey guys, I'm Kate Max.

Starting point is 00:36:57 As a kid, I really do remember having these dreams and visions, but you just don't know what is going to come for you. Alicia Keys opens up about conquering doubt, learning to trust herself and leaning into her dreams. I think a lot of times we are built to doubt the possibilities for ourselves, for self-preservation and protection. It was literally that step by step. And so I discovered that that is how we get where we're going. This increment of small, determined moments. Alicia shares her wisdom on growth, gratitude, and the power of love.
Starting point is 00:37:40 I forgive myself. It's okay. Like grace. Is your country falling apart? Feeling tired? Depressed?
Starting point is 00:38:02 A little bit revolutionary? Consider this. Start your own country. I planted the flag. just kind of looked out of like this is mine. I own this. It's surprisingly easy. There's 55 gallons of water, 500 pounds of concrete. Everybody's doing it. I am King Ernest Emmanuel. I am the Queen of Ladonia. I'm Jackson the First, King of Kaperburg. I am the Supreme Leader of the Grand Republic of Mentonia. Be part of a great colonial tradition. The Waikana tried my country.
Starting point is 00:38:27 My forefathers did that themselves. What could go wrong? No country willingly gives up their territory. I was making a rocket with a black powder, you know, with explosive warhead. Oh my God. What is that? Bullets. Bullet holes.
Starting point is 00:38:41 We need help! We still have the off-road portion to go. Listen to Escape from Zakistan. And we're losing daylight fast. Listen to Civic Cipher every Saturday on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Hi, I'm Marie. And I'm Sydney. And we're mess. Well, not a mess, but on our podcast called Mess, we celebrate all things messy. But the gag is, not everything is a mess.
Starting point is 00:40:12 Sometimes it's just living. Yeah, things like J-Lo on her third divorce. Living. Girls' trip to Miami. Mess. Ozempic. Messy, skinny living. Restaurant stealing a birthday cake
Starting point is 00:40:25 mess wait what flavor was the cake though okay that's a good question hooking up with someone in accounting and then getting a promotion living breaking up with your girlfriend while on Instagram live
Starting point is 00:40:37 living it's kind of mess yeah well you get it got it live love mess listen to mess with Sydney Washington and Marie Faustin on iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
Starting point is 00:40:55 All right. Break my soul. Beyonce, what's your thoughts? That's her new single. You was in here dancing. That was not voguing But that gives me that little jersey two step that they do Alright well let's get into some front page news
Starting point is 00:41:09 Where we starting Yeezy? Well we were talking about sky high gas prices But they said even with these Prices at the pump They're predicting that the 4th of July holiday Will be the most travelers ever They said it's going to be more than 42 million Americans
Starting point is 00:41:25 that will take a road trip of 50 miles or more, even though gas prices are hitting a record high. So a combination of vacationers and commuters could drive travel times to double the normal length at peak points on Thursday and Friday evenings. And some of the most congested routes will be around Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, L.A., New York and Seattle. And so just get ready for that if you're planning to do any type of travel. And I think people are also scared to catch flights right now. There were a record number of flights that were canceled over the weekend too. So all kinds of things happening.
Starting point is 00:41:55 People are like, I'm just going to drive somewhere. Yeah, it's crazy. I'm really surprised that they couldn't predict a lot of this. I do understand when gas prices go up a little bit, but we're talking damn near double and almost triple in some cases, and that's super-duper expensive. Wages are not going up.
Starting point is 00:42:11 The price of flights are through the roof, so it's going to get difficult for a lot of people out there, and I don't understand what they're doing. They're talking about releasing reserves and all that, but they got to do something. Yeah, I mean, over the weekend, man, they're saying it's been crazy. American Airlines is also ending service to three cities,
Starting point is 00:42:31 and that's because of a pilot shortage. So they're going to drop services to Toledo, Ohio, Ithaca, New York. All of this is because of that, and travel demand has been surging as people are trying to travel, but it was a nightmare over the weekend. They said thousands of flights were canceled because of pilot shortage and because of bad weather. And delays have been crazy. I mean, you know, I damn near live in an airport. But it got to the point where all my flights are delayed at least two, three hours. Like, I feel like you got to go somewhere the day before if you have to be there and it's an emergency.
Starting point is 00:43:03 You can't even try to go the day of. All right. Now let's talk about Russian President Vladimir Putin's top spokesman. He is discussing WNBA star Brittany Griner and whether or not she will be released soon. But he did not really give any indication on what's going on. Here is what he had to say. She was coming to take part in sports in Russia, effectively trying to build bridges through sports. It's a terrible message, isn't it, that she should be arrested?
Starting point is 00:43:29 It is also a terrible message to bring some forbidden essences and materials to this country. And it is prosecuted by Russian laws. The US government is now approaching this as a hostage situation. I would strongly disagree with that. We cannot call her hostage. She violated Russian law and now she is being prosecuted. Now, they did ask why they didn't just refuse her entry or send her home. And he said he could not comment on a Russian law enforcement's decision. Now, another they're also talking about some American veterans that have been captured in Ukraine.
Starting point is 00:44:06 And, you know, the spokesman said there that these gentlemen will not face the death penalty. Here's what he said. Russian television has broadcast interviews with two Americans captured in Ukraine, Alex Trujillo and Andy Wen. Where are they? Who is holding them? And what happens next? They're soldiers of fortune and they were involved in illegal activities on the territory of Ukraine. They were involved in firing and shelling our military personnel. They were endangering their life. They should be held responsible for those crimes that they have committed.
Starting point is 00:44:40 Can you guarantee that these Americans will not face the same fate? No, I cannot guarantee anything. It depends on the investigation. Now, when he talked about the same fate, they're talking about two British citizens and a Moroccan who were sentenced to death by Moscow-backed separatists in eastern Ukraine this month. So can you imagine if they're there and they get the death penalty? And who's that speaking? A spokesperson? Yeah, that's his spokesperson. Vladimir Putin's spokesman.
Starting point is 00:45:12 Yeah, that is insane. And it's getting to the point, like, what do we do? What does America do? Do we still keep sending money to help out on that war? To help Ukraine. This is Russia. Yeah, but what do we do? I mean,
Starting point is 00:45:27 I don't know that you can't be involved now. You gotta figure something out. You know, probably they want to trade, too, for us to release people, for them to release. So I'm sure there's some negotiations that are going to be going on right now. Do we agree that the sanctions are in Oregon, or do y'all still think that sanctions
Starting point is 00:45:44 are working? I mean, I think it's a long-term play. It's not like you put sanctions and then immediately everything stops. And it's not just the United States that's involved. So this is something that's ongoing. I don't think anybody anticipated this coming to an end quickly. Alright, well that is your front page
Starting point is 00:46:00 news. Alright, well let's open up the phone lines. 800-585-1051. Kevin Gates, he did a new freestyle. He was talking about Beyonce. He also did an interview and people are talking about. Let's play a clip of it. He was asked to come here last week. Well, we have the song, right? Do we have the part of the song? Here's the freestyle where he's talking
Starting point is 00:46:18 about Beyonce. Chris, that other guy could make you happy cause he could kill, but I can't kill you. Ruby Rose, I can't wait to have your feet facing my ceiling. With my tongue deep in your ass while I kiss all on your bitch. Put that ish deep in your back and make you fuck them all on this missile. Put your hands behind your back and smack your ass. I'm in your kidneys. Ain't no disrespect to Jigga. I'm in your kidneys. You didn't play the part where you said my fiance.
Starting point is 00:46:43 I'm in your kidneys. I'm in your kidneys. I'm in your kidneys. I'm in your kidneys. I'm in your kidneys. I'm in your kidneys. I'm in your kidneys. I'm in your kidneys.
Starting point is 00:46:44 I'm in your kidneys. I'm in your kidneys. I'm in your kidneys. I'm in your kidneys. I'm in your kidneys. I'm in your kidneys. I'm in your kidneys. I'm in your kidneys.
Starting point is 00:46:44 I'm in your kidneys.
I'm in your kidneys. I'm in your kidneys. I'm in your kidneys. I'm in your kidneys. I'm in your kidneys. I'm in your kidneys. You didn't play the part where you said my fiance. Yeah, you played the Ruby Rose part, but didn't play the Beyonce part.
Starting point is 00:46:53 Well, he talked about Beyonce, and then he said this in an interview. How much flack you've gotten for this Beyonce bar? Ain't nobody say nothing to me. To be honest, and this is what I'll do with respect, that's one of the most beautiful women in the world. Like, all I did is say what everybody think. That's fair. You of the most beautiful women in the world. Like, all I did is say what everybody think. That's fair. You're the most beautiful
Starting point is 00:47:08 woman in the world. Like, I would drink your p***s like right here in my mouth. What's that? But I'm just saying like, you gotta think, I speak for the n***a
Starting point is 00:47:16 that's incarcerated that sit there and watch these people on TV and everything. This is what everybody thinking. All right, well let's open up the phone lines.
Starting point is 00:47:24 And that was on the Bootleg Kev podcast. 800-585-1051. What's the question we're asking? Do you think it was disrespectful or is he just saying what everybody's thinking? What are your thoughts? 800-585-1051. And Kevin Gates
Starting point is 00:47:37 was supposed to come up here last week, but somebody that he was with tested positive for COVID at the time. So the way that it works here, if anybody tests positive that's around you, nobody's allowed upstairs just to protect the building and protect everybody that works here. All right, so 800-585-1051 is The Breakfast Club. Come on in.
Starting point is 00:47:56 The Breakfast Club. It's topic time. Pick up the phone, baby. It's topic time. Call 800-585-1051 to join in to the discussion with The Breakfast Club. Let's talk about it. Morning, everybody. It's DJ Envy, Angela Yee, Charlamagne Tha Guy. We are The Breakfast Club.
Starting point is 00:48:22 Now, if you just joined us, we're talking about Kevin Gates. Now, what are we saying about Kevin Gates, Yeezy? Well, he was on Bootleg Kev's podcast, and he was addressing the freestyle he did. And part of that freestyle was about Beyonce. All right. So what is your question? All right. So, you know, Kevin Gates says that he's just saying what everybody's thinking. But a lot of people feel like this is disrespectful to talk about somebody's wife like this. What are your thoughts? All right, well.
Starting point is 00:48:56 If that was about Gia and somebody did a freestyle and said that. Yes, I would find it disrespectful. And I would want all the smoke. But that is just me. And that's just who I am as a person but when you have these artists and these celebrities uh like your Beyonce or your Janet Jackson or your Holly Berry's or your Jennifer Lopez and these people talk about them is it found disrespectful because they have situations they have relationships but it depends on what you say too now he said he would drink Beyonce's uh urine he also said that you know uh he would
Starting point is 00:49:28 you know what do you say in that freestyle he said ain't no disrespect to jiga met through nipsey that's my n-word don't know if they into swinging beyonce need to let me hit her make her urine all on this d respectfully her body shiver yeah that. I mean, now that you read it out loud and don't hear it in a freestyle. That is disrespectful. I mean, you could say my wife is beautiful and, you know, she looks great. I wish I would have got with her. That doesn't sound like it would be in a freestyle. She looks great.
Starting point is 00:49:58 I mean, you could say she's beautiful. You could say I wish I got her before Jigga. Like, yeah, things like that. But when you start saying that you want her to pee on your penis, I think that's a little far. Yeah, that's a lot. I do think it's disrespectful. That's that man's wife.
Starting point is 00:50:10 And it's what you say. If he would have said something that was a little more rated PG, I could get it. But that was, like, very descriptive. And you know what? That might be something a woman would be offended by, even if she was single. Yeah, he was wildin'.
Starting point is 00:50:26 Who's this? This is Torrin. Torrin, what up? You think you went too far? Yeah, yeah. Come on, DJ. If someone said that about your wife, how you feelin'? Bro, they could say a quarter of what he said about my wife
Starting point is 00:50:39 and you know I would wild out. Personally, if I was Jay-Z, I'd put my missile in his back. You know what I'm saying, Envy? You put your what in his back? You know what I'm saying, Envy? I'd go over there'd put my missile in his back. You know what I'm saying, Envy? You put your what in his back? You know what I'm saying, Envy? I'd go over there and put my missile in his back. Missile. Oh, well.
Starting point is 00:50:51 Okay, what does that mean exactly? Is that like anal? Because you making a scene. Come on, we from the streets. What you mean? Oh, okay. I didn't know what that meant just now. He's saying put a gun in his back.
Starting point is 00:51:03 Oh. Y'all be wilding in the morning. I get what you're saying. Why you be having topics like this? I feel it, though. But he was wilding. He was wilding. Yeah, I think he was wilding, too.
Starting point is 00:51:11 That was a little too much. All right, man. Hello, who's this? Good morning. DJ, Carlton Providence. Hey, what's up, bro? You think Kevin Gates was wilding? Nah.
Starting point is 00:51:21 You know what? My opinion is the only way I think he's being disrespectful is if he knows Holt. You know what? Only the, like, my opinion is, only way I think that he's being disrespectful is if he knows Hope. You know what I'm saying? Him and Hope got a relationship and, you know, they're cool. But Beyonce's a public figure. Like you say, just, you know, speaking his fantasy. I get that to a degree, right?
Starting point is 00:51:39 But then when he said he wants to, you know, he wants her to pee on him and then make her body quiver. You don't think that's a little too far? Oh, yeah, her to pee on him and then make her body quiver. You don't think that's a little too far? Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. I didn't know all of that yet. That's a little too far. It's getting outcast. Come on.
Starting point is 00:51:51 What'd you think he said? I heard him say, uh, I just heard, you know, I heard him say, you know, he wanted to do his thing with Beyonce, but I didn't know it was all that. I want to do my thing. See, that wouldn't be much. But he said, um,
Starting point is 00:52:03 Beyonce need to let me hit her, make her urine all on this D, respectfully, her body shiver. Nah, yeah, that wouldn't be much. But he said, Beyonce need to let me hit her and make her urine all on this D. Respectfully, her body shiver. Nah, yeah, that's too far right there. Come on. You see what I'm saying? He changed his whole mind. It gets to the point where like,
Starting point is 00:52:14 now when I see you, like, what is it now when I see you? Because I, you know... Now you think he can get in the Roc Nation brunch? No. I'ma check your temperature. You know what I'm saying? You see, it's all about intent.
Starting point is 00:52:24 Did you mean it in just a song or do you really feel that way? You know what I'm saying? It's all about intent. Did you mean it in just a song, or do you really feel that way? You know what I'm saying? Remember Hov, you know, fell apart off set. It wasn't like that, but, you know, Hov's a real one. So I think he's got to check his temperature when he's using it. I feel like he's going to have to have some bars for him on the next song that he puts out. Hov is definitely going to have some bars for Kevin Gates. And I don't know if Ty Ty retired, but if Tata's still around,
Starting point is 00:52:45 there might be pepper spray him. 800-585-1051. We're asking Kevin Gates, was he disrespectful to Beyonce? How would you take it? What are your thoughts? Let's play what he said and what he did. Ain't no disrespect to Jigga,
Starting point is 00:52:58 man, who nips it at Spock. And I don't know if they in the swing if Beyonce need to let me hit her. Make her sit tall on this bitch. Respectfully, I'll buy the shiver. How much flack you've gotten for this Beyonce bar? Ain't nobody say nothing to me To be honest And this is what I'll do respect
Starting point is 00:53:13 That's one of the most beautiful women in the world Like All I did is say what everybody think That's fair You're the most beautiful woman in the world Like I would drink your p*** Like
Starting point is 00:53:24 Right here in my mouth. What's that? But I'm just saying, like, you got to think. I speak for the n****s that's incarcerated that sit there and watch these people on TV and everything. This is what everybody thinking. All right, we'll take your calls when we come back. It's The Breakfast Club. Good morning.
Starting point is 00:53:39 I know it now. I know I'm in. I know I'm in. I know I'm in. I know I'm in. They can't hold me in here with that. Call me. I know it now. I like it. I like it. I like it. I like it. That Kuno V. You know what that is? Call me.
Starting point is 00:53:48 Add your opinions to the Breakfast Club Topic. Come on. 800-585-1051. Morning, everybody. It's DJ Envy, Angela Yee, Charlamagne Tha Guy. We are The Breakfast Club. If you just joined us, we're talking about Kevin Gates. He did a freestyle last week, and he
Starting point is 00:54:05 also did an interview where he was talking about Beyonce. Let's play both. How much flack you've gotten for this Beyonce bar? Ain't nobody say nothing to me, to be honest. And this is what I'll do respect that's one of the most beautiful women in the world like all I did is say what everybody think that's fair you're the most beautiful woman in the world like I would drink your p***s like
Starting point is 00:54:36 right here in my mouth what's that but I'm just saying like you gotta think I speak for the n***a that's incarcerated that sit there and watch these people on TV and everything. This is what everybody thinking. So we're asking, is this disrespectful? Did he go too far? Ye, your thoughts? Yeah, I think it's way too far. It was just too descriptive.
Starting point is 00:54:55 It was also him talking about really having intercourse and making her urine on his D and her body shiver. That is too much. Yeah, I agree. I agree. I mean, it's a little too far. That is too much. Yeah, I agree. I agree. I mean, it's a little too far. That's my wife. That's my life partner. They've been married, what,
Starting point is 00:55:10 seven, eight years? And then he started it off. Ain't no disrespect to Jigga. I met you with Nipsey, but yeah, we... And he also... Yeah, I mean... That's all disrespect to Jigga.
Starting point is 00:55:20 Hello, who's this? Hello, it's JT. Hey, JT. What's your thoughts, bro? Man, look, I'm not surprised, bro. I'm from VR, bro. That's Kevin Gates. The same dude got everybody out here eating booty.
Starting point is 00:55:32 He don't have people out there eating booty. I think people were eating booty before. No, he got you out here eating booty. Listen, when nobody talk about eating booty, it's when Kevin Gates talks about eating booty, bro. I'm not surprised. So you tried it after Kevin Gates did it? Nah, nah.
Starting point is 00:55:47 My girl be trying to get me to do that. I ain't with that, bro. You know you tried it. You lying to us right now. You just said Kevin Gates got everybody out. You from BR. You tried it? You tried it?
Starting point is 00:55:57 I'm not from BR. That's you. You said everybody. You must not listen to The Breakfast Club. You must not listen to The Breakfast Club. We've been talking about eating booty for the last 12 years You did it first I listen every morning
Starting point is 00:56:10 I'm up at 4.30 every morning We on our Soulja Boy-ish, we did it first But now, let me ask you a question You don't think the fact that he says What's the line, Yee? That he'll make her urine on his D And make her body quiver Shiver, same difference
Starting point is 00:56:24 Man, that just tell you how nasty that dude is That's all I think you like him Is D? And make her body quiver. Shiver. Stop saying quiver. Quiver, shiver, same difference. Man, that just tell you how nasty that dude is. That's all. I think you like him. He okay with it. He from B.I. He understand him. Hello, who's this? This is Joe from Atlanta.
Starting point is 00:56:35 Joe from Atlanta. What up? You sound mad. No, I'm not mad at all. I just woke up and I'm about to go play ball, so I'm like focused. You play ball at 7 in the morning. All right, I ain't mad at you, so let's talk about it. You think Kevin Gates went too far? Yeah, man. You know, I'm like focus you play ball at seven in the morning all right I ain't mad at you so let's talk about it you think Kevin Gates went too far yeah man you know I'm not gonna lie um first off just from what we know about about Kevin and all that you know if somebody said his wife's
Starting point is 00:56:55 name in a song like that he would have something to say I'm not saying he would be all you know crazy crazy with it but he would have something to say so i think what it is is i think that if you remove beyonce's name ruby rose name some of these people nobody talks about it well yeah because we're identifying the person and the person is married exactly you know i'm saying so i feel like it's shock value you know 50 did it how to rob people do it every now and again i just felt like when it comes to somebody's wife, you know, I just feel like, eh, you know, like, the thing about being an artist, I feel being faithful, you're supposed to be able to allude to a person without having to actually say their name in a certain type of situation. Especially something touchy like a mother with kids, you know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:57:38 So I just look at it like I get how he's coming at it with the artistry angle. I just feel like it's Catholic. You're right, though, because Blue Ivy is certainly old enough to hear about this. You know, you got to think about that, too. But I also feel like Kevin Gates is going through some things. If you listen to the album, it seems like him and Dreeka broke up. Yeah, I mean, I don't care what anybody's going through. See, in this industry, yes, you're a celebrity.
Starting point is 00:58:02 You're an artist. If you want to critique me as a musician, critique my music. Critique the way that I look. Critique the fact that I was acting in a movie. Critique that around me. If there's something
Starting point is 00:58:11 that you don't like, critique that. But when you start talking about my wife in sexual forms and what you would do to a married woman, I would feel a way.
Starting point is 00:58:19 I feel like he just said effort. He's going through what he's going through and he just said effort. I don't care. I'm saying whatever. Hello, who's this? This is Tina from Fayetteville, North Carolina. Good morning. He's going through what he's going through, and he just said F it. I don't care. I'm saying whatever. Hello, who's this? This is Tina from Fayetteville, North Carolina.
Starting point is 00:58:28 Hey, Tina. Good morning. What's your thoughts? My thought is I think he was doing a little bit more disrespect than honoring her. I just think there's a level of respect whenever you're talking about somebody's wife, somebody's significant other. It's just like everybody knows that she's one of the baddest chick around but you don't have to say it in those ways he could have said it differently it's just like if if he had him a mother or sister that was you know very fine beautiful or whatnot he wouldn't want none of his
Starting point is 00:58:59 homeboys and then his friends say anything negative about his mom or his sister in that matter even though in their, he may be feeling like he was giving them props, but that's a disrespect prop. Now, let me ask you this. Since you said as somebody's wife, what if she was single, like Ruby Rose is single, right? And he also referenced her in that same freestyle. Does that now, is it still disrespectful if the person is not married?
Starting point is 00:59:21 Because that also, you know, I kind of feel like it's what he was saying, the content of his lyrics and his words, what makes it disrespectful. Right. So even if she was single, I think there is a way of saying things. Okay, I would too. Now, let me ask you a question.
Starting point is 00:59:38 Now, he's at an event and Jay-Z is at that event. As a man, you hold your husband. You see this gentleman that disrespected your wife. Now what happens from there? Security has to kick him out. You know what I mean? Now what happens from there? Right.
Starting point is 00:59:54 My point. That's the reason why you have to think ahead. If I was him, I would call him or see him and apologize off the bat. Don't even let him say anything. I will apologize. I would say, yo, man,. Don't even let them say anything. I will apologize. I will say, yo, man, I didn't mean to. You know what I'm saying? And if I have to, I'll go back and I don't know if this is possible,
Starting point is 01:00:12 but I'll go back and rechange the whole lyrics. Nah, but he doubled down. He did an interview and he said something else. So it gets to the point where, you know, we always talk about, you know, men need to respect men and men need to respect women. But you get to the point where now I see you in an event. I see you somewhere. We out and about.
Starting point is 01:00:28 And now I just heard the lyrics that you said about my wife. I'm supposed to come up and speak to you. I'm going to feel like I'm going to feel like I need five minutes with you. Right. Right. True. True. But he could do it in a respectful manner.
Starting point is 01:00:38 And Jay-Z seems like he's the type of man that could do it in a very professional manner. And without getting out of pocket. Now, let me ask you one last thing. What's your name? My name is Tina from Fayetteville. Tina, what would Will Smith do? Man, he'd probably smack the shit out of him. You have a good morning.
Starting point is 01:00:57 You too. What's the moral of the story, Yee? Keep my wife's name out your fucking mouth. All right, Will. I didn't have to say it. Oh,ing mouth. All right, well, I didn't have to say it. Oh my goodness. All right, well, we got rumors on the way?
Starting point is 01:01:09 Well, I mean, since we're on this topic, let's talk about Cassie's husband, Alex Fine. He did something, said something on his Instagram and people are saying he's taking shots back at Diddy.
Starting point is 01:01:20 All right, we'll get to that next. And also, Charlamagne is out. So if you want to give Donkey of the Day to somebody, 800. I do. I want to give somebody Donkey of the Day. Who? UPS.
Starting point is 01:01:29 All right, well, we'll get to it next. If you want to give somebody Donkey of the Day, 800-585-1051. You're spicy. You've been spicy for the last couple of days. I don't know what's going on in your ears. I haven't even seen you. You gave me Donkey of the Day last week. I mean, I think every day we could figure out some way to give you Donkey of the Day.
Starting point is 01:01:44 Oh, my goodness. All right, we'll get to it next. We saw you fall off that bull. Looking like Joe Biden falling off the bike. I definitely felt like Joe Biden. As a matter of fact, we need to put those two together. Joe Biden falling off the bike and Envy falling off the bull in slow motion. Oh my goodness.
Starting point is 01:01:56 It was slow motion. You didn't have to do it in slow motion. It looked like you threw yourself off slowly. I'm right. You slid off. It's the breakfast of the morning. off slowly. You slid off. As a kid, I really do remember having these dreams and visions, but you just don't know what is going to come for you.
