This is an I-Heart podcast.
Guaranteed Human.
I'm Lori Siegel, and on my new podcast, Mostly Human,
I'll take you to some wild corners of the tech world.
I'm about to go on a date with an AI companion
at a real-world cafe right here in New York City.
There's no playbook for what to do
when an AI model hallucinates a story about you.
Mostly Human is your playbook for how tech can work for you.
Anyone can now be an entrepreneur,
Anyone can build an app.
And it's very empowering.
Listen to mostly human on the Iheart radio app, Apple Podcasts,
or wherever you listen to your favorite shows.
Could this have happened in City Hall?
Somebody tell me that.
A shocking public murder.
This is one of the most dramatic events
that really ever happened in New York City politics.
I scream, get down, get down.
Those are shots.
A tragedy that's now forgotten.
End of mystery.
That may or may not have been political.
That may have been about.
sex. Listen to Roershack, murder at City Hall on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
In 2023, Bachelor star Clayton Eckerd was accused of fathering twins. But the pregnancy appeared to be a hoax.
You doctored this particular test twice, Ms. Owens, correct? I doctored the test ones.
It took an army of internet detectives to uncover a disturbing pattern.
Two more men who'd been through the same thing. Greg, a lesbian, Michael Mancini.
My mind was blown.
I'm Stephanie Young.
This is Love Trapped.
Laura, Scottsdale Police.
As the season continues, Laura Owens finally faces consequences.

You know Roll Doll.
He thought up Willie Wonka and the BFG.
But did you know he was a spy?
In the new podcast, The Secret World of Roll Doll, I'll tell you that story, and much, much more.
What?
You probably won't believe it either.
Was this before he wrote his stories?
It must have been.
Okay, I don't think that's true.
I'm telling you.
I was a spy.
Listen to the secret world of Roll Dahl
on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts,
or wherever you get your podcasts.
I'm a homeguard that knows a little bit about everything and everybody.
You know if you don't lie about that, right?
Lauren came in hot.
Hey, y'all, what's up?
It's Lauren the Rosa, and this is,
another episode of the latest with Lauren the Rosa.
This is your deli dig on all things, pop culture, entertainment news,
and all of the conversations that shake the room, baby.
Now, first, we have to do the thing that we do over here
where we check in behind the scenes of the grind.
Back on the grind.
And checking in behind the scenes of the grind today,
I mean, I'm just happy that it's almost Friday.
I'm just be honest with you guys.
Like, I am looking forward so much to spend in the holiday weekend.
Easter's coming up with my family and just taking that time to do so that I have been counting down.
I kicked off the week, not the week, but I kicked off kind of like my weekend, or I was supposed to be kicking off my weekend.
We're heading on over to see Magdalion on Broadway in Mulan Rood.
And that completely went left field.
I just wrapped, and you guys can catch those live now.
I just wrapped two interviews about that experience.
Broadway, one with Inside Edition and one with the Good Morning America, where we talked about
the fact that I went to go see Meg Desalien on Broadway, and abruptly the show stopped because
Meg got sick and was taken to the hospital, literally very abruptly not planned.
So you guys can imagine, I would say that it caused this shakeup, but honestly, it didn't.
Like, I mean, they paused for a second.
in the moment it felt like what the hell is happening super confusing but then they continued on but now
it's the after conversation of what happened so I received a statement from a spokesperson for
Megastogian and that statement says on Tuesday evening Megan was transported to a local hospital to
undergo a medical evaluation after experiencing concerning symptoms doctor doctors ultimately
identified extreme exhaustion dehydration
metabolic levels as the cause of her symptoms. Megan has since been treated, discharged,
and is now resting. Megan is incredibly grateful for the prayers in the world, which is from her
supporters, and is looking forward to resuming her role as Zittler on Mulan Rouge or at Mulan Rouge
on Thursday. Now, Magda Stahlian herself posted to her Instagram as well, just thanking people
for the support and providing some more information. So Megan posted a photo of her from Zidler
from Mulan Rouge and she says last night was a real wake-up call for me.
I've been pushing myself past my limits lately running on empty and my body said enough.
It's honestly scary for me.
I thought I was going to faint on stage, which is crazy because watching her, you couldn't tell
that.
Like I think that's the scariest part about all of this.
You know, her saying that she felt like she was going to faint and then you're bringing
a dehydration and exhaustion and all these things.
You could not tell that when she was.
she was on that stage, y'all. And again, she wasn't there long. Like, she didn't appear too many
times on stage prior to the moment that we're talking about where she had to no longer be on the stage.
But the times that she appeared, like, I literally remember sitting and thinking, like, okay,
number one, the cast was just fire. It was very timely. Like, the music that they used
to create the Mulan Rouge vibe wasn't, like, I thought it was going to be timepiece stuff. So I thought the music
was going to be like a lot of older, like ballady, you know, like those type of things that it
wasn't.
Like they were doing Britney Spears, Whitney Houston, Tina Turner.
It was a vibe.
But make the stagion fit right in, like her energy, her voice, even though she's not like a
singer at all.
But just even in her speaking role, because Zillard is more of like the orchestrator of
all of the madness in the show because Zidler is the person that is running the
cabaret, the Moulin Rouge location.
But you know how Meg the Scyon has that, like, animated high voice.
It just fit with the show.
She looked good.
She fit with the cast.
She didn't feel like the celebrity on the stage at Broadway.
And I'm very surprised to hear this.
But, you know, you don't always know what that looks like,
exhaustion and all the things that she is claiming.
And she then continues to go on to say that she hates letting people down.
She wants to be real with the hotties who are her, you know, her followers.
because they mean everything to her,
but she just needs a day of rest.
She says she'll be back on that stage
this coming Thursday,
stronger, clearer,
and ready to give you 100% the way you deserve.
Thank you for always riding with me
and loving me through everything.
The hotties was in the building, okay?
Because there was a few girls,
there was a few ladies who got up and left
once it was announced that Megasai
would not be returning back onto the stage,
as well as people just sitting there well wishes.
I stayed as long as I could.
I didn't finish the show though
But I said as long as I could
Because I still wanted to see the show
And it was great
The understudy who came in from Meg Desa Sion was great
The rest of the cast was great as well
Like the lead who plays Celestine
The woman who plays her
Her voice is like not real
Like at one point
We thought well I knew
I'm like this is live
It's no way that this is like pre-taped that much
I know that they probably might add some like you know
Support vocals but
To hear a person sing live and sound the way
that the lead of the play sounded was everything.
But yeah, just, I don't know, it's just,
I didn't expect sitting there in the show for any of that that happened.
And then I was talking to,
I reached out and just text Charlemagne and Envy
because I was trying to figure out what was going on.
When after I reached out to Meg's next team,
and they didn't tell me anything, right?
I hit them and I'm like, yo, can y'all reach out to somebody
that y'all may know in the camp because I need to know what's going on number one just as a person
sitting here in this theater who was being told not to go anywhere to sit down and have a seat right
that was number one just make sure I'm cool but number two also now it's like the journalist in me
is kicking in I made notes inside of the theater um just in the moment of things because I just wanted
to document everything that was happening and I didn't even remember taking these notes that's how
fast everything happened. When I came in to work the following day, I remember or I saw these notes.
So at 7.40 p.m. they paused the show and asked the crew to clear the stage and said that they'd be making an update for the audience but to stay seated.
And then I just talked a little bit about some of the songs that, you know, they were doing.
Like Elton John, I told you guys, Britney Spears, Tina Turner.
When I heard what's love got to do with it? I was like, oh, okay.
So this, this, I, like, they take the newer songs, I mean, that song's not super new,
but you guys get what I mean, like songs that you would recognize and identify with,
but they make it fit within the love story of Mulan Rouge.
Now, I do want to go back.
I do want to go back on Thursday.
I should actually try and buy a ticket right now.
I think I'm going to do that.
I want to go back on Thursday.
Purchase a ticket because I doubt anybody want to invite me because I don't put the story out.
But I didn't know that the story would do all of this, y'all.
Like, I really didn't.
I didn't.
I knew that it was news and I knew that I was going to make it news.
But I had no idea, you know, the reach and the legs that this thing would have.
But I think it's because, you know, people are just nosy if we've been honest.
People love anything, drama and it had all of the, you know, the elements.
But I think that there just is a really, there's a crowd of people who are really invested in Megastogian,
whether it's for positive things because you care about her, you want to the hotties,
you want to support, or it's for negative things, following everything with,
Lanes. Like, I think that there are people on both sides that are super, super invested.
And I can see why, you know, she is doing, like, pushing herself to the limit that she's pushing
herself. Not that I think that it's right, but I can understand it just because of how big the
conversation around her gets. She's superstar. So I get it. So I'll keep you guys posted. I'm
actually going to go in. I'm going to buy some tickets to return back to Mulan Rouge on Thursday.
We'll let you know how the full show and make the sion goes when I,
am able to do so.

You were told to be seated, and people keep asking me in these interviews that I'm doing,
did they turn the house lights on?
Like, you know, how much of an abrupt stop was this?
And I'm going to tell you guys, this is how I knew, because when I reached out to Meg's team,
they're like oh you know it's just intermission um it's you know that happens on broadway and i'm like
i've been to a broadway play several times this is not intermission they never turned the house lights
on really what they did was is like they kept they lit it up more than it was lit uh when the actors
were on the stage as you guys are going to be able to see um but and they had some music playing in
the background but it's every as you literally people were just sitting here and we're just in
quiet and we're wait like we're kind of like on the edge of our seats waiting to hear what the next
instruction would be because we were told in the first announcement that came over the speaker
in the house that we would be receiving more instruction no you know so security wasn't super
high specifically because magdastagian was there that's another thing too that you know as i'm
painting the picture of this that i want people to understand and which is why i thought maybe
there was even like something related to security that might have happened because security was
normal. Like, you know, there was the security check when you walked in the door or the
Herschfeld Theater. There were, you know, the guards who helped escort you to your seats
in all black. Of course, there's security on the out front of the doors before you walk in
through the, you know, security scanners. But other than that, that I saw, at least not in the
theater, I don't know what her backstage is like, whether she, I'm sure she has, like,
other guards, I mean, I would be, I would be so confused if she did not. So maybe, maybe there
There are other guards in the back with her, you know, for her personal, like, persons.
But from what we saw in the theater, security was just normal.
Security was very normal for it to be, you know, Meg the Zion on Broadway.
But again, this is also kind of normal in that area where celebrities come.
They pop into Broadway for several weeks at a time.
And the Broadway goers just come and see the celebrity.
Like, they're not there to harm or, you know, like any bad intentions.
But I think it's so crazy, though, the world that we're in.
And just how, you know what it was, too?
It was the Rihanna story.
Like, reporting on that Rihanna story and just seeing how, like, obsessed and crazy fans can be,
I think my first instinct and my first thought with this was something security-wise must have happened.
And they're having to, like, lock it down, get her out of here, make sure she saved.
That was literally my first thought.
Like, and that's what made me call her team so fast because I'm like, you know, if anybody is going to,
before it was about reporting the story, I was really really,
really just trying to make sure that, like, I knew for myself what the hell was going on.
And I'm like, if anybody's going to know, her team is going to know because they have to like make sure she's good too.
So this is a podcast about video games.
Kind of.
It's also about friendship.
Definitely.
And chaos.

So, Mulan Rouge, I have not seen the movie.
I only knew what it was about before going into the show
because I reported about the fact that Meg Dostalian was making her Broadway debut
doing this play.
And also, like, loosely because of the song with, like, Christina Aguilera and, like,
whatever, you know, I knew somewhat very loosely the tale of Moulin Rouge, but I'm going
to be honest with you, I looked more into it because Meg Dostalian was on Broadway.
And I will say, when Candy Rapped in Juliet, Candy Burr's, formerly of Real Housewives of
Atlanta, we've also had her here on the podcast.
you guys can go watch or listen to that interview in full.
When we had her here on the podcast,
she had just wrapped Broadway.
And when she wrapped,
I reached out to a really good publicist friend
that I know that does PR for all the Broadway shows.
And I'd asked, like, you know,
what does Magda Stott?
Like, what we're seeing, Candy, you know,
Burrs, Magdalian, you know,
Denzel did Othello not too long ago.
Just to name a few.
you know, very, like super big names, you know,
Megasadians, very young on Broadway.
And I wanted to know, like, why.
Like, you know, I think during a certain time period
in television and movies or whatever,
I think things were very much like for the goers of that storyline, right?
So everybody in the Moonla Ruiz Theater was like very, very French.
You know, so like it felt like, okay, these are people who have been so
invested in Mulan Rouge and these characters or whatever.
But then now you have the Meg Dostalian element.
So she's bringing people like me who loosely know Mulan Rouge but want to see
Meg Dostalian but also love live theater and live performance, right?
And I was like, why are celebrities jumping to do this right now?
It's not the pay.
So what is it?
Like why?
And what my friend told me was like, you know, it's different for different people.
There are some celebrities who do it just because it's like always been a goal.
of theirs. There are some celebrities that do it because they're trying to prepare themselves for
like something else, whether it's an acting role or, you know, another play. There are some
celebrities to do it because they want to be taking more seriously about things. I know Candy Burris,
who we, you know, talked to from formerly of Real Housewives of Atlanta, she mentioned, you know,
going back to theater and doing certain things because she wanted to be taken more serious
after reality TV when she was auditioning for things like the shy and things that she was doing.
and I don't know what Meg the Stallions, you know, like what she plans to do after this.
I know nothing Rock Nation is just loosely done.
You know, there's strategy and intent and focus and passion behind everything.
So I'm excited to see what comes out of this and kind of what this was preparation for.
But, yeah, I never like, no, I wasn't like a person that just subscribed.
to all things Mulan Rouge, but a lot of the people there were.
Like, they were like die hard.
Like, yeah.
And that's why, like, when I talk about people getting up and leaving the show,
I make it a point to, well, after it was announced that Megastalian wasn't going to continue
as Zedler, or Zittler, I make the point to say that majority of the audience stayed.
And this is no shade to Meghastalian, love her down.
And again, she was doing amazing.
But a lot of the people in that audience were people that were die hard Mulan Rooge.
fans, not just make the
style of game.
So this is a podcast about video games.
Kind of. It's also about friendship. Definitely.

working on something with the boondocks, but I didn't know how, like, the few, like, TV things,
like, I had heard about something with her and the Hulk, but for some reason, it didn't
click in my brain that she was, like, an actor in it.
I thought maybe she was going to just be, like, creating some.
music for it or whatever but that also came up on the breakfast club as well too and i'm like maybe so
it would make a lot of sense because i'm gonna be honest with y'allel like i've seen meg the stallion perform
just as meg the stallion the music artist one hell of a performance she performs down okay dancing singing
baby the knees be working you know all that when i say singing i mean like little cute stuff
because you know she's a little she'll get a little melodic at time but rapper like performance um
but I think she would be
she's going to be amazing in the space
whatever they're trying to grow her too
or whatever this you know
this round of Broadway is is stretching her
her palette for
she's gonna kill it because again
I didn't get to see much of her
and I am going to go back but what I saw
she fit right in with the audience
like I mean not with the audience she fit right in
with the cast like she was keeping up
she was holding her own
so that has
