Starting point is 00:00:00 Had enough of this country? Ever dreamt about starting your own? I planted the flag. This is mine. I own this. It's surprisingly easy. 55 gallons of water, 500 pounds of concrete. Or maybe not. No country willingly gives up their territory. Oh my God.
Starting point is 00:00:16 What is that? Bullets. Listen to Escape from Zakistan. We need help! That's Escape from Z-A-Q-istan on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Hey guys, I'm Kate Max. You might know me from my popular online series, The Running Interview Show, where I run with celebrities, athletes, entrepreneurs, and more. After those runs, the conversations keep going. That's what my podcast
Starting point is 00:00:46 Post Run High is all about. It's a chance to sit down with my guests and dive even deeper into their stories, their journeys, and the thoughts that arise once we've hit the pavement together. Listen to Post Run High on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Hey, y'all. Niminy here. I'm the host of a brand new history podcast for kids and families called Historical Records. Executive produced by Questlove, The Story Pirates, and John Glickman, Historical Records brings history to life through hip-hop. Flash, slam, another one gone. Bash, bam, another one gone. The crack of the bat and another one gone.
Starting point is 00:01:30 The tip of the cap, there's another one gone. Each episode is about a different inspiring figure from history. Like this one about Claudette Colvin, a 15-year-old girl in Alabama who refused to give up her seat on the city bus nine whole months before Rosa Parks did
Starting point is 00:01:45 the same thing. Check it. Get the kids in your life excited about history by tuning in to Historical Records because in order to make history, you have to make some noise. Listen to Historical Records because in order to make history you have to make some noise. Listen to Historical Records on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. 50% righteousness. 50% ratchetedness.
Starting point is 00:02:19 I don't ratchet, just sit down. I try my 95% ratchetedness. Becoming the most prominent forum for... Wake your ass up! It's early in the morning, but they tell me it was y'all. I say, oh, hell yeah, I'm getting up. The world's most dangerous morning show. DJ Envy.
Starting point is 00:02:32 Your people's choice. Angela Yee. I'm a sweetheart, but I'll cut you. Charlamagne Tha God. Principess and people love you. I can't believe you guys are the best, kid. Collectively known as Breakfast Club, bitches. It's your time to get it off your chest,
Starting point is 00:02:46 whether you're mad or blessed. You better have the same energy. We want to hear from you on the Breakfast Club. Hello, who's this? Oh, wow, you guys actually answered. Every morning. That's our job. Well, get it off your chest, mama.
Starting point is 00:02:59 Okay, so I've been with my baby daddy for eight years, and a few weeks ago, it comes out that when I was seven months pregnant, he had sex with one of my best friends. Oh, damn. So she comes in my house drunk, you know, we're drinking and talking and she starts crying. Like, you don't mess with me like that no more. I'm like, well, you know, you drink too much. I'm like, damn, what's wrong? I'm like, you look like you about to tell me you and him
Starting point is 00:03:25 actually did do something. And she starts bawling and I'm so sorry. I'm like, what? So he's sitting there looking like an idiot. I'm going to smack her. And then she's like, I deserve that. You know, he's still sitting there looking like an idiot. Then two days later, he comes out and says that he
Starting point is 00:03:41 done something else with my other best friend. Damn, you must have got some hot best friends. My goodness gracious, mama. And your friends are crazy. Where y'all from? Dayton, Ohio. Okay, I don't see what the problem is. My whole family has been uprooted.
Starting point is 00:03:56 I've got no friends. I've got nobody to talk to. He won't get out the house because he thinks that this is salvageable or whatever, I don't know. I want to vent because I'm an idiot for loving someone thinking that I've got people that's got my back. And I'm a real closed-knit person.
Starting point is 00:04:12 I only got a couple friends, and now I don't have anybody. Well, you're not an idiot. You just need some new friends now. And, you know, because the friends that you got are no good. But, I mean, you got a baby daddy. You know what I'm saying? And clearly, you know, you got the that you got are no good. But, I mean, you got a baby daddy. You know what I'm saying? And clearly, you know, you got the best box in the whole crew if he came right back to you and still lives with you
Starting point is 00:04:29 after sleeping with all your friends. That's a positive. Yeah, you got to just be careful who you call your friends and who you lay down with. That's a positive. And you can't change your baby daddy, by the way, so you ain't got no choice but to make that work in some way, shape, or form.
Starting point is 00:04:38 I wish I could get a refund. Well, thank you, mama. Michelle. Hey. Get it off your chest, Michelle. I just want to say, Charlamagne, you are so freaking ghetto. You don't have no filter. Everything that you say is off the chain.
Starting point is 00:04:53 My kids knew nothing about you until they heard you say one day, oh, you ain't got no edges and you broke to some lady. And every time they want to listen to Charlamagne in the morning. When you call Trav Sis, they find that so funny. I'm like,
Starting point is 00:05:09 he ghetto. Why do y'all like him? I mean, your kids must be ghetto too though. You know that, right? They can relate.
Starting point is 00:05:14 They can relate, yeah. They daddy probably sound just like me. You just don't have no filter. You talking about DJ Khaled ain't doing this.
Starting point is 00:05:22 My kids like, what's the poom poom? What's going down on? I'm like, oh my goodness. That's DJ Khaled. I don't even want to listen to it. Yes, you do. Yes, you do. Stop it. Thank you, mama. Thank you, baby. Hello, who's this? Hey, DJ Ember. This is Michael.
Starting point is 00:05:36 What's up, Charlamagne and Angel. Good morning. What's happening, my brother? I'm just calling you guys. I've been DMing all through you guys. I have been DMing all through you guys. I have wrote a book. It's called African Booty Scratcher. Oh, boy.
Starting point is 00:05:53 It's a book about my life growing up in America. I'm originally from Africa. When I first came here, everybody used to call me African Booty Scratcher. We get it. We get it. Okay. That should be interesting. The book is on Amazon. I would love to send you guys a copy.
Starting point is 00:06:04 Well, send it on up there. I'm going to look it up now, too. All right. Thank you so much, guys. Thank you, bro. The book is on Amazon. I would love to send you guys a copy. Well, send it on up there. I'm going to look it up now, too. All right. Thank you so much, guys. Thank you, bro. Get it off your chest. 800-585-1051. If you need to vent, hit us now.
Starting point is 00:06:13 It's The Breakfast Club. Good morning. The Breakfast Club. This is your time to get it off your chest, whether you're mad or blessed. You better have the same energy. We want to hear from you on The Breakfast Club. Hello, who's this? Hey, this is Q Monet.
Starting point is 00:06:31 Q Monet, get it off your chest. All right, so my new single, Slow Motion, just dropped on Friday on iTunes, Spotify, iTunes, Apple Music. So if you guys want to go check that out or follow me on Instagram, it's underscore K-I-A-M-O-N-E. Now, why should we do that? Let's hear you do it live right now. All right. Slow motion, slow, slow motion.
Starting point is 00:06:58 Hey, got my body moving left to right. Yeah. Boost focus, baby Loose focus. Baby, loose focus. Got me thinking about this every night. Okay, she sounds nice. All right. It probably tastes good with some seasoning.
Starting point is 00:07:15 You know what I'm saying? You sound nice. You sound nice. Congratulations. I want some mixing with some. Yeah, I want some mixing on it and some effects on the vocals and the beat behind it. You know what I'm saying? You got to spice it up a little bit. P.M. Monet, I'm going to check you out.
Starting point is 00:07:25 Right now, just a hamburger with nothing on it. Hello, who's this? This is Kyla. Hey, Kyla, get it off your chest. Well, I was calling this morning because I wanted to shed some light. I'm from Greenwood, Mississippi. 2011, nobody formally investigated a hanging of a black man in Greenwood, Mississippi, 15 minutes away
Starting point is 00:07:46 from Money, Mississippi. I wanted to shed some light on that. This happened, if I can recall, about three days before the Christmas parade. The young man was 45 minutes away from his hometown. They ruled it a suicide because he had a mental health issue.
Starting point is 00:08:01 Nobody formally investigated. They just threw it on the rug. It never hit CNN. A black man was hung in 2011 in Greenwood, Mississippi. Damn. That sounds about right, too. That's awful. Yeah, it's absolutely right. 15 minutes away from Mississippi.
Starting point is 00:08:17 If y'all know anything about Emmett Till, that's where Emmett Till was killed. As a matter of fact, the picture of a young man hanging from the tree was put on the front page of our newspaper. No. Wow. Yes. In 2011?
Starting point is 00:08:29 Right now, 2011, Greenwood, Mississippi. They ruled it a suicide. Let me look that up right now. So, baby, why are you calling us seven years so late with this, though? Well, we've been talking about it for a very, very long time. Like I said before, the police department basically brushed it up under the rug. When I went to college, I told all my college friends.
Starting point is 00:08:49 I even had the newspaper. I moved out of Mississippi now. I even had the newspaper letting people know that this is still going on. You can't do too much when the population is slim to none. True. I ain't gonna lie. If I was black people, I'd have been letting white people have Mississippi.
Starting point is 00:09:06 Hello, who's this? Hey, what's good? It's your boy, Jay Howard. Hey, what's up, Jay Howard? Happy birthday, bro. Hey, good looking out. I just wanted to talk to Angela Yee. Yes, sir.
Starting point is 00:09:16 Hey. Hey, what's up, boo? Hey. All right, that's my birthday gift for the year. Well, happy birthday. Today's your birthday? Yes, ma'am. All right, all right.
Starting point is 00:09:26 Happy birthday, brother. Happy birthday, brother. Shout out to you. Good looking out. Good looking out. All righty, man. That's all he wanted. Happy birthday.
Starting point is 00:09:32 Shout out. Well, happy birthday to him. That was easy. That was the cheapest birthday gift I ever gave someone. There you go. Get it off your chest. 800-585-1051. If you need to vent, you can hit us up right now.
Starting point is 00:09:41 We got rumors on O.A.E. Yes, BET Awards. Find out who's going to be hosting this year also. Let's talk about my guy, Ghostface Killer. Find out what acting he's about to be doing for season two of this show. All right, we'll get into all that when we come back. Keep it locked. This is The Breakfast Club.
Starting point is 00:09:55 Good morning. The Breakfast Club. Good morning, everybody. It's DJ Envy, Angela Yee, Charlamagne Tha God. We are The Breakfast Club. We got a special guest in the building, Wiz Khalifa. Wiz Khalifa is here, giving us proper fruit-eating etiquette. Pause.
Starting point is 00:10:11 We were talking about our favorite fruits and vegetables. What's your favorite fruits and vegetables? My favorite fruit, pause, is... Why are you pausing fruit? Huh? It's just fruit, Wiz My favorite fruit, Paws, is I like to eat slices of apples
Starting point is 00:10:31 Okay Why do you have to cut the apple in slices? Do you have to cut the apple in slices for a reason? The same way you gotta break a banana off? You can't just bite into the apple? I'm just trying to help you out, bro You know what I'm saying? If you in public, Paws, and you eating a banana
Starting point is 00:10:43 Just break it into pieces instead of... I can promise you that's the least suspect thing I've done, okay? Come on, bro. Come on, man. You gotta eat the banana.
Starting point is 00:10:52 It's like real sloppy. Come on. No. No. You could do that. Jesus Christ. You'll get more followers that way.
Starting point is 00:11:00 What about peach? Can you eat a peach? I don't like the texture. Okay. Yeah, I'm texture sensitive. Now look at you all working out and getting all buff and everything. I was sizing him up to make sure he's as buff in person as he looks on Instagram and stuff like that. I really am.
Starting point is 00:11:13 He's been doing Muay Thai. Is that what he's doing? Yeah, yeah. That's what Ong Bak Thai Warrior was doing, right? Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Now, when did you decide you wanted to get in shape and start doing the MMA fighting and all that good stuff? Last year. I was just chilling at the MMA fighting and all that good stuff?
Starting point is 00:11:25 Last year. I was just chilling at the crib, and I didn't really have too much to do. But, like, Muay Thai is a lifestyle, so it's not something that you just, like, try to look cool by doing it. It's real. Now, did you get into a fight that we don't know about, and you was like, you know what, man, I got to get it right? No, no, no. Why would anybody ever want to fight Wiz, man? Nah, I'm the coolest dude ever. Everybody love me.
Starting point is 00:11:46 Did it require you to slow down on the weed and the liquor at all? I have a joint right here. So no. Smoking pot on my way in here. Okay. The liquor, yes, absolutely. Because I train five days a week. And you don't want to be hungover when you're on your way in the gym.
Starting point is 00:12:03 So, you know, I just drink a little bit now instead of a lot. So you train five days a week? Even on the road? Yeah. How? You got somebody with you, the guys in Miami? Yeah. I mean, my homies, they train as well.
Starting point is 00:12:13 Okay. Lonnie and Breeze, they've been doing stand-up and jiu-jitsu for a long time. So they keep me sharp on the road. Or I meet a lot of fighters on the road. There's fighters in every country. Any supplements? Just, like, a lot of protein. Gotcha, gotcha. More protein to gain weight. Like, I eat a whole bunch.
Starting point is 00:12:28 Just like up my calories. I'm on like 4,500 calories a day. Wow. So you have to get a whole new wardrobe. Yeah, absolutely. Well, you look good, brother. I appreciate that. Yeah, it's good to see brothers, you know, taking their health seriously. You have to. And now you have Rolling Papers 2 out.
Starting point is 00:12:43 It just came out last week. Yeah, yep. And you got an introspective on this album and talked about things that you don't normally talk about, like even in interviews, the song Be Okay.
Starting point is 00:12:52 You talk about your relationship. So for you, that's kind of like, all right, let me just put it out there. Did you have to talk to Amber and be like,
Starting point is 00:12:59 just so you know, this song is going on. What's like for me, like my music is my outlet and I'm a creative person. So people is going to feed house. What's like for me, like my music is my outlet. And I'm a creative person. So people is going to feed into whatever they want to feed into. They're going to love how I dress.
Starting point is 00:13:12 They're going to love my body. They're going to love my tattoos. But my music is my real outlet. So that's where I'm always going to tell people what's really going on in my life. It's a good time because you guys are in a good space. We're in a great space. And that'll never change. And I wanted to be clear so that wouldn't tarnish our relationship. And even though I'm solid with the fans, this ain't open season to be disrespecting my baby's mom
Starting point is 00:13:36 because I kept it real on my album. You know what I mean? I'm talking about what happened. That's the past. It got me to where I'm at now. I never thought about taking a last name being a big deal, like, to a man. Hell yeah. Because a lot of women who are celebrities, like, they keep their last name.
Starting point is 00:13:51 Nah, man. I mean, not to bring that back up or, like, put her in a weird situation, but to a dude, that means a lot. Hell yeah. For sure. What about hyphenated? Like, can you keep it and then hyphenate it? Girl, you better chill. I'm just asking.
Starting point is 00:14:06 Because I never, as a woman, it is hard because we are giving up our last name. And for us, we grew up with that same last name. I didn't know it was that big of an issue for y'all either. So it's a good perspective. It's a good point. I mean, hyphen is cool. You can always take the woman's name too, though.
Starting point is 00:14:20 You can be like Rose, hyphen Rose, something. I mean, you know, if that's the conversation. Yeah, it's worth having. Now, does it bother you when you see people, of course it does, but when you see people going in on your son
Starting point is 00:14:32 based off something, if Amber posts him and then they'll make comments, like at one time they was trying to say he was gay because he was dancing to Taylor Swift.
Starting point is 00:14:40 Nah, I don't think, it doesn't bother me like about like any comments online about my son because he's an amazing kid. I'm dying to meet Sebastian. He would have came today, but he was asleep.
Starting point is 00:14:50 I think he's so cute. He's here. He's in New York, but he was asleep at the hotel. How do you get to sleep in, man? You got to work to a camera. He's jet lag. But no, I don't let that bother me, man, because he's a superstar. You know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:15:02 And that's what comes with the game. All right, we got more with Wiz Khalifa when we come back. Let's get into a Wiz Khalifa mini mix. It's The Breakfast Club. Good morning. The Breakfast Club. Good morning everybody. It's DJ Envy. Angela Yee. Charlamagne Tha Guy. We are
Starting point is 00:15:17 The Breakfast Club. We have Wiz Khalifa in the building. Charlamagne. I want you to take a couple puffs of that weed too man because I got some questions I want to ask you but you got to be a little bit higher. You told him it's smoking here you to take a couple puffs of that weed too, man, because I got some questions I want to ask you, but you got to be a little bit higher. You told him it's smoking here? It's a couple puffs, that's all. Oh, God. We're going to get in trouble for this again. Just like we did.
Starting point is 00:15:33 Oh, I'm sorry. Come on, Charlamagne. Just two. Alright. Okay, put it out. Alright, it's out. These are some stoner questions. It's out. It's out. Don't worry. Now, these are some stoner questions. Okay. Okay? It's out, it's out. Don't worry. Is the S-R-C silent in the word scent?
Starting point is 00:15:51 I would say they're both. No, neither one is silent. Scent? They're both prominent, man. Because you got a scent like a quarter, how many scents with a C? No, I think he's talking about S-C-E-N-T. Yeah, but I'm saying, but there's an S in front of that. So a C can make that sound as well.
Starting point is 00:16:08 They're both there. Okay. No, no silence. Then wouldn't it be cents? No, they're both there. It's together. If life is unfair to everyone, does it make life fair? Nah, that's like if you're loyal to everybody, then who are you really loyal to?
Starting point is 00:16:24 Ooh. You know what I'm saying? Okay. What does water taste like? Water? Good answer. Why are babies in the womb for nine months but aren't nine months old when they are born? Oh, see, that's easy because they're not born yet.
Starting point is 00:16:41 Mm. Right? Who's high now? Okay. If you drop soap on the floor, is the floor clean? Why is that a floor? I said a floor, not a prison shower. Bad visual.
Starting point is 00:16:57 If you drop soap on the floor, is the floor clean or is the soap dirty? I would say the soap's dirty. Because it was clean before it touched the floor. Now, you the MMA guy, you're fighting right now. So if you hit yourself and it hurts, are you strong or are you weak? That's a good one.
Starting point is 00:17:20 That Khalifa couldn't help you get to that one, huh? I'm going to figure this one out. All right, I got another. This is the last one. Hold on. I didn't answer it yet. We're giving you time. I would say that you're strong.
Starting point is 00:17:31 If you hit yourself and it hurts. Because it hurts doesn't mean you're weak. Oh, okay. It doesn't mean either. It just means I know my weaknesses. Huh? Yep. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:17:40 I don't know. It means I'm smart. That's what it is. Let's go. I think this one's going to get you. Why is it called a building when it's already built? Because it's the action of building it that makes it exist. It's not a built.
Starting point is 00:17:59 Let me hit that one. You know what I'm saying? Have you reached out to Mac Miller seeing him going through some things? Nah, man. I mean, I appreciate him. I look for the best for him, but I don't talk to people
Starting point is 00:18:14 who I can't get through to. You know what I mean? There's a lot of rappers who I've talked to and I couldn't get through to them, so I don't talk to them. That is the smartest thing in the world, bro. What about Kanye? Now, he does want to perhaps one day smoke a peace pipe with you. That's cool. If you ran into him, would I don't talk to him. That is the smartest thing in the world, bro. What about Kanye? Now, he does want to perhaps
Starting point is 00:18:26 one day smoke a peace pipe with you. That's cool. If you ran into him, would you offer him some KKR? I'm too busy. I'm on the road. My album's out. I got a lot of girls DMing me. So you're not going to be single for long? I'm too busy, man. I got too much going on. Do you respond to those DMs?
Starting point is 00:18:42 What, girls? Famous ones. Okay, but not regularly. Like, you've never seen a girl that's not famous and been like, okay, she's cute, and responded? I don't know. Do people always reach out to you, or have you ever been the one to... Have you ever initiated it? Who, me? Hell yeah!
Starting point is 00:19:01 Okay. Yeah. You mean, like, just in general, like in life? Yeah. I mean, that's what you got to do. So you're saying you don't f*** fans is what you're saying with? Nah, I got to, yeah, nah. You used to when you first started, I'm sure.
Starting point is 00:19:16 I had to chill. I know you're going to leave us with a little something for our cataracts, right? Little KK? Actually. Come on now. Don't tell me you ain't got no KK. You keep an ounce on you, you're better. I know he does. Why do you always try to hit him up for this every time he comes? I left my bag of weed in the car. Come on now. Don't tell me you ain't got no KK. You keep an ounce on you, you're better. I know he does.
Starting point is 00:19:25 Why do you always try to hit him up for this? I left my bag of weed in the car. God damn it. Rolling Papers 2. It's out right now. It's with Khalifa. Morning, everybody. It's DJ Envy, Angela Yee, Charlamagne Tha God.
Starting point is 00:19:37 We are The Breakfast Club, and we got a special guest in the building. Vinderella is here. Cardi B. Mama body. Welcome and congratulations on everything. Album, platinum, records, gold album, and the baby. What were you more excited about dropping last week? The album or revealing the baby bump?
Starting point is 00:20:01 What excited you more? Mostly the album. It was like more a relief. The baby thing, it was also a relief, but it's something that it was like nerve-wracking, you know? What, trying to hide it and stuff like that? Try to hide it.
Starting point is 00:20:18 Not even just try to hide it. It's just like what people will say. I don't know why it makes me sensitive. Yeah, yeah, yeah. It makes me too sensitive. But your hormones and stuff kicking in now. It's a different level when you're pregnant and all kinds of stuff. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:20:30 Yeah. Hormones and chemicals and like all kinds of stuff got your emotions out of whack a little bit. Did you get sick the first couple of months? Were you sick at all? Um, yeah. You got more than sickness and all that? Yeah. And you still do shows and still work?
Starting point is 00:20:44 Hell yeah. Mm-hmm. I think that's amazing that you are working as hard as you have been because you've been working harder than anybody that we've seen like a lot happening before this album comes out. And I'm like, damn, how is she doing all that? Because I could just imagine wanting to just be laid back and relaxed. Yeah, well, you know, I know a lot of people invested their time and their shmanish on me.
Starting point is 00:21:07 And it's like, I just don't want to disappoint anybody. I don't want to make anybody feel like it's like, damn, what the hell. And, you know, a lot of people was like telling me like, what are you doing? What are you doing? And it's just like, okay, I'm pregnant, but I have a game plan. And I just wanted to show people, like not the critics, like mostly people around me,
Starting point is 00:21:28 like the people I work with, like it's like, y'all gonna have a job still. Y'all gonna have a job. That's a good question. With everything going on in your career, did you ever think of not having the baby? Or was it planned? I mean, it might've been planned.
Starting point is 00:21:41 No, it wasn't planned. It wasn't planned. It was just one night. It was a good night. I know exactly when it happened. You remember exactly when you got your club shot up? Yeah, because that one night, it had to be that night. It had to be that night.
Starting point is 00:22:01 You know what I'm saying? But with everything, did you ever think of, you know, not having a baby? Kind of, sort of. And then again, it's just like, no, I just didn't want to deal with the whole abortion thing. I just didn't want to. The regret of it, probably. Yeah, I don't know. I just didn't want to.
Starting point is 00:22:21 And it's just like, you know what? I'm a grown woman. I'm 25 years old. I'm going to say it in just like, you know what? I'm a grown woman. I'm 25 years old. I'm going to say it in the most humblest way. I'm a schmillionaire. You know what I'm saying? And I'm prepared for this. I love what Remy Ma said, though, too, because it is true for women.
Starting point is 00:22:40 Men have kids, continue with their career, nothing stops. And for women, it's so different. They try to act like, oh, if you have a baby, it's the height of everything. But it is proof that you can be pregnant, have a baby, and still be at the height of everything. Yeah, you know what? It just really bothers me. And it disgusts me because I see a lot of women online like, oh, I feel sorry for you. Oh, your career is over.
Starting point is 00:23:04 And it's like, why can't I have both? Like over and it's like why can't I have both like as a woman why can't I have both like why do I gotta choose a career or a baby like why can't I have both men never have to choose well those are the people that's rooting against you anyway though so they want to see you fail anyway and you absolutely can I mean you're showing it now you absolutely positively can but
Starting point is 00:23:19 it's not even people that like not rooting for me like a lot of people around me was concerned. Like it's like, I don't think it could happen. This never really happens. And it's like, I don't want to wait until I'm 30 something to have a kid. Like I want, I want my kid now. I want my kid now that I have energy and stuff.
Starting point is 00:23:39 I really feel like I have energy. I'm telling you, I think I have, what's that thing called? Scleritis? Whatever. I'm getting it. Already? I feel it. My energy. I'm telling you. I think I have, what's that thing called? Scleritis? Whatever. I'm getting it. I feel it. Already? I feel it.
Starting point is 00:23:47 My finger. I type too fast. Are you taking the medication, the pills, to not be nauseous? No. For real? No. So you don't get more of the sickness and stuff? Yeah, but you know I got to take it out.
Starting point is 00:23:58 Take it out. Now, how did you tell Offset that you were pregnant? How did that conversation happen? Yo. Mad baby emojis. Yo, I'm scared. I think I'm f***ed. No, he messed up. Yo, he messed up.
Starting point is 00:24:13 You know what I'm saying? If I was a broke bitch, you know what I'm saying? He would have messed up. Broke bitch and everything, but I'm good. We good. We good, we good, we good. He was happy, I'm sure, right? I'm excited for you guys. I mean, I just love your success. We've seen the grind, and we've seen it hands-on.
Starting point is 00:24:27 So some people you don't get to see, but we've seen you grind, and people doubt, and you put the mixtapes out, and you came to my house to play your mixtape, and you did the teen parties to the 500 people see, to the 1,000, to the 10,000. How does it feel to have an album out right now? It feels like such a relief. You know, like around October, I was like, I'm about to release
Starting point is 00:24:51 an album right now because I had like 15 songs in the stash and everything. And people was like, wait a minute, hold on. And it's like, hold on what? It's like an album is really special.
Starting point is 00:25:01 An album is something that you got to take your time on. You know, I just started the music business, the industry, whatever the crap, and I just didn't know the difference between
Starting point is 00:25:10 like an album and a mixtape, like what's so important. And then it's just like, I feel like I was a little bit overdue when it comes to the album, but it's just like, I wasn't realizing that it's like I barely had time to go to a studio
Starting point is 00:25:23 because I was being overbooked. Like, it's like, you want a 80-dash for this show? Yeah, I does. Next thing you know, I'm booked for five shows in one week. And then it's just like so many magazines are presenting me opportunities. I'll be damned if I take it. So many opportunities that have been offered to me, and I'd just be damned if I take it.
Starting point is 00:25:44 Next thing you know, it's just like oh crap I gotta work on this album and then it's like I can't wait for May I can't wait for the summertime because it's like I'm competing with time and I'm competing with my body what I like about this album is that it feels like Cardi B how much control
Starting point is 00:25:59 did you take of this album because I know at one point Atlantic was trying to get you to do certain records that you didn't want to do right? I had full control you know at one point Atlantic was trying to get you to do certain records that you didn't want to do, right? I have full control. I have full control. You know, a lot of people was presenting me hooks. A lot of people was presenting me beat.
Starting point is 00:26:12 And I was like, yeah, I sound about white, nerd. What was your favorite song on that album? It really depends because I don't know. I really like all of them because they all gave me a vibe.
Starting point is 00:26:23 I wouldn't even put it if I didn't like it. I like it like that. That's my favorite. I like't know. I really like all of them because they all gave me a vibe. I wouldn't even put it if I didn't like it. I like it like that. That's my favorite. I like it too. Now, everybody, they tried to come at you last week about
Starting point is 00:26:34 the ghostwriting thing and I like how you owned it at your album release party. What do you think about all that? My thing is that it's like, you know, partisan. He's not a ghostwriter. He's a co-writer.
Starting point is 00:26:44 You know, I credit him. I credit him on all the songs that he's been in. And I even gave him a shout out in the I Heart Radio Award. And, you know, the Be Careful song, I heard the song.
Starting point is 00:26:57 I was like, oh, I like this. It didn't even have a hook or nothing. I just like that verse thing. And I was like, yo, I want this song for me. I like what you're saying. I like the beat. And I was like, yo, I want this one for me. I like what you're saying. I like the beat. And then we just worked on it.
Starting point is 00:27:08 You know, I'm putting my people on. They make you money. I ain't paying him off and hiding him. He right there. He came to you with the Grammys. Y'all been down with each other, though. That's my guy. I love Partizan.
Starting point is 00:27:19 Yeah, he been knowing me forever. Shaking my ass in shoes. I ain't putting my people on. Everybody in my people are on. You know what I'm saying? Atlantic noticed his working skills and noticed his music. They signed him too. Hey, probably got some money. Probably got some money.
Starting point is 00:27:35 You're a sneaky ass rapper. No, that's dope, man. That's dope. When did that happen? At two, three months ago. Now they know. That was good. I know Kaiser was sniffing around him.
Starting point is 00:27:49 I didn't know he actually did the deal. That's dope, though. Yeah, that's dope. Partisan deserves that. Partisan deserves that. Why you ain't signed him to your label? You should have started Body Gang Records. It's not that easy, damn.
Starting point is 00:27:58 I can't even handle my own stuff. Imagine me handling another artist. I don't even want to promise people anything. I don't want to promise people anything if I'm not sure that I could give them something. I've seen people be like, yeah, sign this, sign that, and they can't do anything for them.
Starting point is 00:28:14 So it's like I'm not going to play myself or play with somebody's dreams. How much of the songs on this album would you say is about your real life, like things that you're really doing? Like are you still going through phones and doing all that? I don't even go through phones
Starting point is 00:28:26 because I don't want to play with my own damn feelings. I feel you. That's a terrible thing to do because they say when you look for something, something's going to happen. Well, you know, the way the internet is nowadays,
Starting point is 00:28:39 you're going to find out regardless. You can't never stop going through the phone, though. You just gotta let them know every now and then. I'm still here. Don't think your body changed at all, okay? Well, you know, like, I just don't even want to play myself. I don't even want to see somebody. I mean, it's not really to hide because every single time
Starting point is 00:28:57 that somebody texts him, you'll hear it. Cling, cling, cling. And you'll see it. You'll hear it. Alright, we got more with Cardi B when we come back. Don't move. It's The Breakfast Club. Good morning. The Breakfast Club.
Starting point is 00:29:11 Morning, everybody. It's DJ Envy, Angela Yee, Charlamagne Tha Guy. We are The Breakfast Club. Cardi B's in the building. Charlamagne? Do you think the baby gonna bring you some normalcy? I don't know. You know what?
Starting point is 00:29:22 I have been working and thinking about album and thinking about what I got to do next. It's like I got to take my time to nest. Do we know if it's a boy or a girl yet? It's a girl. It's a gangster. It's a gangster.
Starting point is 00:29:38 Hennessy slipped and said it last night on social media when she was congratulating you. You know what I'm saying? Why you want to know? You want my registry? Of course we want your registry. I got two separate registries. I got registry for the people that can't afford certain things.
Starting point is 00:29:54 You know what I'm saying? And then I got the registry for y'all. I want the talking one. I want the talking one. I want the talking one. I know that y'all make money in this radio station because this is the most syndicated We'll do a nice breakfast. I want the talking one. I know that y'all make money in this radio station because this is the most syndicated one,
Starting point is 00:30:09 whatever they name. So y'all on that budget, Amazon, which parents? We got you. So Karlie, career-wise, what has been most exciting for you so far? Would you say if you had to pick a moment that you were like,
Starting point is 00:30:23 this was like the best day ever? Well, when I did the whole Billboard number one thing, that was really special for me. I couldn't even imagine that I even hit number one. My goal was to get on the radio and get my things repeatedly on the radio
Starting point is 00:30:39 and then you just hit number one and then seeing artists I looked up to or people that I never even think that they know me congratulating me. Even the album, too. It's just crazy. Saw Oprah listening to it. I was like. And, yeah, it was really special.
Starting point is 00:31:00 You know, like this month has been the most overwhelming month ever. I felt like my world was ending or something. I was having meltdowns and everything. So with that, how are you handling the backlash you received from social media? Does that make you handle it better? Does the love make you handle all the criticism you get better? Yes, because I don't know
Starting point is 00:31:19 what it was. I just was feeling down. How the hell I became the most hated person ever? Every single day, it was just a big backlash. If it's not about my relationship, it's blogs and damn paparazzi stalking me, trying to find out about my personal life, my pregnancy, them people with the music. And it's just like, damn, it's like people are never satisfied. It's just driving me crazy. Like,
Starting point is 00:31:45 what else do y'all want from me? And then, all the positive love that I got from my album is just like, okay, I just need to chill. Now,
Starting point is 00:31:53 how do you prepare for Coachella? You got Coachella coming up? Yes. How do you prepare for that? Well, on Wednesday, I will be flying in to LA
Starting point is 00:32:01 and we're going to do 10 hour rehearsals to that day. Whoa, damn. Are you feeling anything right now food wise? Is there something you have to have? My wife was into ice cream and strawberries. Is there any craving that you need?
Starting point is 00:32:13 Like I need this now. Chicken Caesar salad. That's not that bad. The last time I went was hotcakes and McDonald's. So that's better. I don't know. I don't really be eating like that. Really?
Starting point is 00:32:27 You know you got, you're eating for two now. You gotta feed the baby. I don't know. I just don't feel like overly hungry or anything. I feel normal. Are you scared to get plump
Starting point is 00:32:35 in front of the cameras? Is that what it is? No, no, no. I don't care about that. If I gotta eat, if I'm hungry, I'm hungry. I don't know. I just, I guess I'm naturally skinny
Starting point is 00:32:42 or I guess my appetite is just weird. Just like Envy's wife. She had five kids and she looks exactly the same. Yeah, she ain't getting no weight. Well, I hope that's me. Have you decided how much time after you have the baby you're gonna sit down and just focus on that? I'm hoping like
Starting point is 00:32:57 a month, three weeks. I don't think Cardi's gonna sit down. Don't let them pressure you to get back out there now. I mean, it's not pressure. It's just like, I don't know. I just got to wait and see because I don't, I've never done this before. You're going to have milk coming out your teeth. You're going to be lactating. You can't just run back out there.
Starting point is 00:33:14 Yeah, I can't put a pad in there. You can put a pad in there. You can't put a pad in there. I can't see Cardi B sitting down. Put some panty liners in. I don't see you sitting down. Like, I've never seen you sit down. Like, you always, you're a hustler. Like,. I don't see you sitting down. I've never seen you sit down. You're a hustler.
Starting point is 00:33:26 I just don't see it. I see you popping that baby out and going on tour, grabbing it in and going. That's what I see. I just feel extremely hungry for things, especially because I hate my mentality. I hate trying to prove people wrong. But it's like I have to prove people that it's like a baby won't stop me. Nothing has stopped me before. People didn't even know that I was going to get here.
Starting point is 00:33:50 So how are you going to tell me when it's going to finish? And at the end of the day, it was Jesus. You said that baby is motivating you too. Yeah, it is motivating me. Because I just do not want to disappoint anybody. I just wish that I had a little bit more time for me to think for me. I didn't like that people were just harassing me. I had a whole bunch of friends calling me like,
Starting point is 00:34:13 I can't believe you ain't told me. Well, I got to find out on the internet. You know, I was going to go to Atlantic. Like, listen, y'all, I'm having a baby, but I got this whole plan. Okay? This is what we're going to be doing every week. I didn't even have the chance to do that because they just called me like,
Starting point is 00:34:28 hey, so we're hearing that you're pregnant. And it's just like something that is so precious and private to me. I couldn't even keep it for myself. Right. And it's like, I feel like I have given everybody everything they ever wanted. I've been open. I've been doing videos with no makeup on,
Starting point is 00:34:44 looking mad crusty. It's like certain things y'all want from me that is like, can y'all just chill? Y'all nearly want to be in my damn gynecologist's damn appointment. Y'all want to see everything. Well, how do you know when to keep things to yourself? Because you have been so public for so long. I have kept so many things to myself. There's so many things about me that people don't know
Starting point is 00:35:05 because I really do choose, as open as people think that I am, I really do choose on what I want to be there or not. Right. Now, a lot of people were pitching to you because they want to do a TV show with Cardi and Offset. Are you considering doing any of those things? I don't know because sometimes I'd be like, no, but then it's like when I see the money, it's like...
Starting point is 00:35:25 There's a jam show back. You said you're doing Coachella. Are you doing something with Beyonce at Coachella? No, I think we have different dates. Oh, okay, okay, okay, gotcha, gotcha. So I'm not even sure how. Did y'all do a song together? That was a rumor, too.
Starting point is 00:35:41 No, no. You know what I'm saying? People would just be making things up. Was that supposed to happen? It was just an idea that people was just... You know what I'm saying? People would just be making things up. Was that supposed to happen? It was just an idea that people was just like, you know when you hear a song and people be like, this will sound hot if this person is on it. And people just
Starting point is 00:35:53 around you would just be gassing things up. And it's just like, it ain't came out of my mouth. So. Right. Gotcha. Lauren actually heard the Be Careful record, right? She listened to it? Yes. You know, a lot of people was criticizing me when it came to the Be Careful record. And it She listened to it? Yes. You know, a lot of people was criticizing me when it came to the Be Careful record. And it was just like, I was just like,
Starting point is 00:36:09 damn, why people don't like this song? I love this song. And then I was like, wait a minute. It don't matter what these people say. Lauryn Harrell approved this song. If she didn't approve it, I would have to change so much for me. And she approved it.
Starting point is 00:36:24 And I heard she very spiritual when it comes much for me. And she approved it. And I heard she's very spiritual when it comes to her things. And she approved it. And it's just like, you gotta hear what people say. You spoke to her or she sent a message? She sent a message. Wow. How did it make you feel? It made me feel like super confident at
Starting point is 00:36:39 the time. It made me feel super confident. Like, oh, it's gonna be a good record. That's actually somebody that would be, you could have a conversation with about being pregnant and stuff. Because when she got at the time. It made me feel super confident. Like, oh, it's going to be a good record. That's actually somebody that you could have a conversation with about being pregnant and stuff. Because when she got pregnant around the time when she was really popping off and they was telling her, get rid of the baby. You're about to be a star, whatever, whatever. And she still had the baby.
Starting point is 00:36:56 Yeah, well, I just don't like talking about it. I don't know why it is. Maybe it just makes me feel weird. Butterfly-ish. Yeah, because you're a gangster. So you don't want to feel sensitive and stuff. Yeah. I don't like when my mom touches me. You don't like when your mom touches you?
Starting point is 00:37:12 Yeah, she's going to touch my stomach and everything. That's her grandbaby. It just makes me feel weird. Alright, we got more with Cardi B when we come back to Breakfast Club. Good morning. It's DJ Envy, Angela Yee, Charlamagne Tha Guy. We are The Breakfast Club. Cardi B when we come back to Breakfast Club. Good morning. It's DJ Envy Angela Yee, Charlamagne Tha God. We are The Breakfast Club. Cardi B's in
Starting point is 00:37:28 the building. What's the next evolution of Cardi B? Because you came up in the script club, social media, did a little reality TV, now the music. What's the next evolution of Cardi? You know what? I really don't know because it's like, I feel like, damn, what can I not do besides dance?
Starting point is 00:37:45 I don't got that much rhythm, y'all. You know what I'm saying? I'm getting so many deals that I be telling myself, like, I don't think I can do that. And people be like, oh, yes, you can. And there's so many things that I told myself, like, I don't think I can do this, but I have done it. And it's just like, I think I I can do it especially for the right price. You don't stick around
Starting point is 00:38:07 doing things too long though. Like you stay in one thing for a little while and you move on to the next thing. So how long do you think you're going to rap? I think I'm going to rap for a hot minute. You know what I'm saying? I'm going to rap until I like to. Nah, I like money forever so it's just like I think I'm going to rap forever.
Starting point is 00:38:24 You know what I'm saying? But she knows when to get in and out. Because even with Love & Hip Hop, they were like, don't leave. You're getting too much. And you was like, I'm out. You know what? I never even thought about when am I going to leave. You know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:38:36 I never really thought about that. I just want to do everything. Everything that can make me money, I'll do it. And everything that I develop a passion i'll do it and everything that that i develop a a passion for i keep doing it i have a passion for music and i'm gonna keep doing it a lot of people telling me acting they want to get me into acting i used to do a little shows in high school i just don't feel like i'm too good at it now maybe if i started getting classes or something i'll be great in it and i'll probably start doing that i don't know there's just feel like I'm too good at it now. Maybe if I start getting classes or something, I'll be great in it.
Starting point is 00:39:05 And I'll probably start doing that. I don't know. There's just so many different things. You got time. You got a lot to do. You still got to plan a baby shower. You still got to plan a wedding. That's a patient's job.
Starting point is 00:39:15 You still got to go on. That's who? A patient's job. You still got a lot to do. When it comes to the things that I have planned for work, it's like I'm almost finished. But then it's just like, oh, my gosh, I do got to plan a baby shower. And it's like, oh, I do have to plan a wedding.
Starting point is 00:39:31 But it's just like it's hard to plan a wedding when it's just like we're both working. Right. I'm about to go on a long tour. He's going to go on a long tour. And I'm knocked up, too. Like I ain't trying to have a wedding and not drink. You know what I'm knocked up too. Like, I ain't trying to have a wedding and not drink. You know what I'm saying? Go to a honeymoon
Starting point is 00:39:48 and not have, like, unlimited piña coladas. I want to see Cardi when she has the baby because Cardi's so gangsta. I want to see if Cardi cries when that baby pops out. She is.
Starting point is 00:39:59 And she's going to poop on herself too. That's the other thing. Yeah, because I keep hearing that you poop on yourself. Yes, you do. But that's cool though because me and my dude is close now. He's gonna have to deal with it.
Starting point is 00:40:10 You know what I'm saying? You're gonna have to deal with it. Clean it up. I didn't know you sang. I was wondering who was that on through your phone. And I saw you tweet that was you. I used to sing in high school. There's a video of me singing in high school. But I just don't feel like
Starting point is 00:40:26 I'm super great in it. You know, and my voice have changed. You know what I'm saying? Smoking, screaming, shucking. It's just not the same. It's not as great anymore. But it's just like,
Starting point is 00:40:36 why not give it a try? Like, I mean, I used to win my challenges. I like it. I like ballad-like hip-hop songs, too. I like that there's like a nice balance of that. Because I don't feel like we have enough of those ballady type of hip-hop songs, too. I like that there's a nice balance of that. Because I don't feel like we have enough of those ballady type of hip-hop songs.
Starting point is 00:40:48 Those are the type of songs that I haven't really heard in a while. And I just wanted to bring that element. I feel like a lot of people think that I'm just this girl that don't have any type of feelings. People just think I'm just some type of dog bitch or something. So it's just like, nah, I got to show y'all a little shine, shine. I don't want y'all to just think that I'm just not this person that care about things. I just put it on my music, too. You know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:41:14 How did Chance the Rapper collaboration come about? Because when you see it, you're like, damn, Chance and Cardi. The song, it just felt like it was Chance the Rapper. Like, it's like, ah, I need this on my hook. I need a verse on him. And we reached out to him. He did a verse, and it's like, but can you please get on the hook, though? Because this hook, it just didn't sound good with me.
Starting point is 00:41:34 Right. And he tweaked a lot of it. He was real busy. He was in Australia, and he came right back, and he did it. And it's just like, me as an an artist knowing how busy you can be, for him to take the time and do it, it's just like I'm very grateful. It's like, damn, Michelle Obama knows this kid.
Starting point is 00:41:55 And he get it on my record. Every artist, actually, because it's like I know how busy artists are and I'm very grateful. And if they need a kidney, I'll find somebody to give it to them. I'll find somebody. Oh, I thought you were going to say that.
Starting point is 00:42:09 No, because you don't want my kidneys. You don't want my kidneys. I drink a lot of coffee and beer. What about Be Careful? Why'd you decide to sing that and hook yourself? I don't consider it as like singing. Do you consider it as singing? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:42:24 It's a little bit of singing. Yeah. I didn't consider it as singing. I Do you consider it as singing? Yeah. It's a little bit of singing. I didn't consider it as singing. I did it with my regular voice. The only man, baby, I adore. That's singing. Is that singing? If you was in the shower, they'd be like, yo, you singing in the shower again, Cardi? When I sing in the shower, it's like,
Starting point is 00:42:39 fine. That's singing to me. That sounded good. That to me was singing like I wanted on the hook of that song To feel like if I'm talking to you I wanted to feel like I was talking to the guy I didn't know it was like
Starting point is 00:42:54 Singy-ish That's why when people was like Oh why you sing like that I wasn't even trying to sing I wanted to make it feel like an open letter It's like I need love, kind of. Like how LL did, I need love. Like, why don't you make it feel a little...
Starting point is 00:43:09 Come on, Charlotte. I'm sorry. You know what? It's a habit. It's a habit. How do you feel when you watch old interviews of yourself? You see the glow up that we see? No, no. Interviews, I be like, you know what? They good. Whatever. It sounds pretty good. When I see old interviews of yourself? You see the glow up that we see? Not on interviews. I be like, you know what?
Starting point is 00:43:26 They good. Whatever. It sounds pretty good. When I see old videos of me, I be like, damn. My teeth look f***ed up. Is it amazing to you how many young women are so excited to be able to relate to the songs that you're putting out? Because a lot of girls are like, oh, I went through the same thing. Oh, you helped me get through a situation with my man.
Starting point is 00:43:46 Like, those are the kind of comments that I'm seeing. Cardi's talking to me right now. This is so me. This means a lot to me. This album's helping me out through a lot in my life. Yeah, because that be the goal. Like, it's like,
Starting point is 00:43:56 I know that people are going to like this song because they can relate to my song. Because my mom's favorite song on my album is Be Careful. Damn, she's still scaring your pops with that? No, they're not together. Oh, okay. That's always been on my album is Be Careful. Damn, she's still scaring your pops with that? No, they're not together.
Starting point is 00:44:07 Oh, okay. That's always been your M.O., though. You always deliver the message. That's why I always rock you even on your IG videos. Even if everybody says, oh, she's so ratchet, but she always saying something uplifting to kids. You know, I mean, sometimes I want to uplift. That's the thing.
Starting point is 00:44:21 I just want to do different things that I like at the time because sometimes I want to deliver a message and sometimes i just want you to party with cardi why do why'd you name the album invasion of privacy it just came up as a conversation because while i was doing the album i felt like that's when my privacy was getting invaded the most like every single time that i look at the internet, there was a story about me. There was a story about my dude. It was just getting so ridiculous and so overwhelming that it's just like, why am I in this studio
Starting point is 00:44:54 and people are making things or still talking about me? I feel like I'm going crazy. Like, I was getting so overwhelmed. It is like, I feel like I have no privacy. Like, I really feel like I'm a damn monkey in the zoo that everybody's just watching me. And when they just not watching me, they just want to make something of me. When I really got upset, when I damn saw somebody with a camera, a paparazzi in the bush is like, bro. Where, in L.A.?
Starting point is 00:45:21 In Miami. Wow. In L.A., it was just like, no matter which hotel we stayed in, it was just like, boom, there. I couldn't believe it. But that's the price of fame, though. Yeah, that's the level. You can't pick and choose, you know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:45:34 Sadly. Sadly, you know, and that's why I be telling people, like, everybody wants fame until you have it. All right, we got more with Cardi B when we come back. Matter of fact, we're going to push the rumors back a little bit and Cardi B is going to come back. So don't move. It's The Breakfast Club.
Starting point is 00:45:49 Good morning. Morning, everybody. It's DJ Envy, Angela Yee, Charlamagne Tha God. We are The Breakfast Club. Usually we do rumors here, but Cardi B is here. Now, what about family members and friends? Has new family members popped up and new friends popped up? There's a lot of friends that I had to get rid of,
Starting point is 00:46:05 which really hurt my feelings and is really hard for me to deal with. And that's the thing, that people just don't be knowing things that really be hurting my feelings. And sometimes when it comes to my family, like I get really sad because I just be feeling how certain things of me affect them. Like when people talk bad about me, it affects my sister. I have so many friends that they so hurt
Starting point is 00:46:29 and they just be, I can't take this. I'm so sad. I cannot see you like this. And those type of things like make me sad. Like, I could take it, but a lot of people around me can't take it. They just cannot take me. Well, they know you and they know who you are. So when they hear people talk about something that's not true, it bothers
Starting point is 00:46:45 the s*** out of them, I'm sure. Yes. And they can't defend me like they usually can't defend me. They want to go cut somebody with a razor, but they can't do it because they know they'll get charges and they'll reflect off you. They can't handle it the Bronx way. And also, clapping back brings more attention to certain things that don't need to have attention brought
Starting point is 00:47:01 to it. So if your friends start going in on people, nobody would have ever seen that until the back and forth happens. Yes, it's just so crazy how people be wanting you to say something about certain situations. And then when you say something, they eat you up even more. It's just like, do them if you do, do them if you don't. So I just be like, well, I'm just going to keep things more to myself because I just can't.
Starting point is 00:47:25 These people are crazy. How do you know when to cut friends off? Little by little, I find out. I'm finding out. I just see people that are just being disloyal. I feel like some people just want to be around when it's beneficial for them. When people just brag or use my name for certain things, it's just like, you got to go. Or when you just get called talking crazy about me, you got to go. Now, do people, a lot of people, especially family, because I know this happens a lot, asking for money now?
Starting point is 00:47:59 Oh, yeah, but it always been like that. Oh, okay. It always been like that, you know what I'm saying? You know when you was in the strip club? Hell, yeah. She always been like that, you know what I'm saying? Even when you was in the strip club? Hell yeah. She was making money in there. Mm-hmm. But you know, now it's just higher.
Starting point is 00:48:09 But they ask for more money. Ask for a car now, a house. What they ask for is higher, but it's just like, I can't say no. Like, it's just hard for me to say no. One thing I really appreciated that you talked about was having been a stripper and women in the strip clubs are video vixens. How sometimes if people, if they were to say what things guys have done to them,
Starting point is 00:48:29 like pull out their d***, you know, for a magazine cover shoot, and you said people would judge them if they complained about it and said, oh, this guy did this to me, this guy did that, and people would be like, well, you a ho, so what does it matter? But the truth is that all women deserve respect.
Starting point is 00:48:44 That's the thing, like, it's like, oh, well, how you deserve respect when you're not, well, you a ho, so what does it matter? But the truth is that all women deserve respect. That's the thing. It's like, oh, well, how you deserve respect when you're not respecting yourself, you're showing your body, this and that. Because I'm showing my body doesn't mean that I want to get touched when I don't want to get touched. Doesn't mean that you, like some women, a lot of women think, like for example, me when I was 19 and I used to be in the train stations and I used to see these girls with red bottoms in the magazine. It's like, wow, I wonder how much money they're making. They're probably making like $10,000 just to be in the cover of this magazine.
Starting point is 00:49:15 A lot of young women think that sharing jobs is a big opportunity for them. And it sucks when you're trying to get that big opportunity and there's people in the way like, oh, you want to be in this magazine? And they pull out their penis. Some girls are very young and naive. When I was 19, I wasn't sleeping with people. I wasn't doing none of that.
Starting point is 00:49:38 And there's just so many people like, you want to be in this cover? Oh, you want to be in this music video? And it'd be directors photographers and it's just it's so crazy and if and if some girl will say something like in the urban world they will say it doesn't matter because you're a hoe right well you don't respect yourself because you half naked and this this and that it doesn't matter like why is it that you gotta harass me to do something that i don't want to do for something that they feel like is an opportunity.
Starting point is 00:50:06 Have they tried you now? Has anybody in the music industry tried you? No, nobody has tried me. Nobody trying that? No, not at all. But it's just that it's good that you could speak up for people because that is true. People automatically assume oh, just because you work in a strip club, that means I could do anything to you or touch you any way
Starting point is 00:50:22 I want and you still can't do that to anybody. That's still somebody's personal decision and it's unprofessional. Yes. And people just don't understand. Like, it's like you could be a good looking girl. You want to be in this video and everything. But you're not presenting yourself to the person like, hey, I want to be in this music video. What's up?
Starting point is 00:50:39 You're not presenting yourself like that. You just go. There's this audition for these. You're trying to book a job. Yeah. You're trying to book a job. Yeah, you're trying to book a job. There's really audition for music videos and everything. And then there's always that one person that tries to sell a dream to these girls. And I'm not even talking to myself.
Starting point is 00:50:58 I'm talking for a lot of girls. Because I've been there, done that, and that's why I was like, no, this is not for me. Are you regretting letting people know he was pregnant? You're free. I feel free. People are going to find out anyways. My body's changing and I have so much work to do. If I could have chose a different way, I would even let anybody know because I don't want to hear people opinions and I don't want people to make me feel like a blessing should be a regret. I don't want to hear people's opinions and I don't want people to make me feel like a blessing should be a regret. I don't want the negative energy
Starting point is 00:51:30 on my baby. So when the baby gets here, are you going to post it? Because you know people are going to have all types of things to say about your baby. I don't think I'm going to post it for a hot minute because you know, first of all, babies come out looking weird. All babies are cute. that's what I say
Starting point is 00:51:47 but the beginning they look a little crazy sometimes they look like a shaved cat so you know what I'm saying and second it's just like I gotta mentally prepare myself first like that's why I stopped posting a lot of my family members
Starting point is 00:52:03 I have to mentally prepare myself for that moment. But we're happy and we are super big excited. Yeah, man. Congratulations on everything, on all your success, the singles, multi-platinum, the album gold already in a day. I'm putting out a nice cohesive album. I feel like all the songs are singles. Absolutely. It took time for me to do each and every song.
Starting point is 00:52:24 You know, I have a strong accent and I don't care what nobody say. I'm going to talk how I talk forever. I don't want to change it. I don't want no class. I don't want no speech class. I want nothing. But when it comes to my music, I don't want to hear my music. So I do things over and over and over and over again. Sometimes I feel like I'm not flowing right. So one song, I could spend about three days in the studio just doing that one song. Like, Be Careful took me a hot minute to do. And it just all came out nice.
Starting point is 00:52:54 People had to mix each song like three, four times. The feedback have been great. I can't even believe. Like, first, I'm really happy that the fans and the DJs like it. Because DJs are going to tell you they suck or not. And you projected to sell $200,000? I got to find out the numbers today. I don't know what the numbers are. And you want to know something?
Starting point is 00:53:14 I'm really new at this whole music thing. I'm little by little trying to find out what it works. I don't know what's good numbers for a whole week. I don't know what's good this, what's good that. I'm learning little by little. Well, the album already gold and you sold $20,000. That's
Starting point is 00:53:29 great. I don't know how much I sold. Yeah, we don't know the number yet. We're projected. It could be more than that. Doesn't matter. You put together a great project. You did. You should be proud of yourself. And just stay humble. How is Cardi staying humble right now? Well, I mean, I'm just I don't know. I haven't now? Well, I mean, I'm just, I don't know.
Starting point is 00:53:47 I haven't really changed much. You know what I'm saying? I don't know. Cardi B, we appreciate you for joining us. Happy for you. Happy for all your success. Invasion of Privacy is out right now. Go get it.
Starting point is 00:53:57 And thank you for coming through and joining us. And thanks for breakfast. Oh, yeah. Well, you know where I'm staying. All right. It's The Breakfast Club. It's Cardi B. I was born a donkey.
Starting point is 00:54:08 It's the donkey of the day. You see, donkey, donkey, donkey. What the f*** is that? It's time for the donkey of the day. That's pretty funny. Charlamagne the devil? Possibly. The Breakfast Club.
Starting point is 00:54:25 All right, listen, man. Charlemagne Tha God here. I'm on vacation. I don't give a damn what y'all think about that because I deserve it. Now, The Breakfast Club is in 80-plus markets in 150 countries, so we have a lot of new listeners who probably don't even know who Charlemagne Tha God is. So use my time off to catch up on some of my past work, okay? Okay.
Starting point is 00:54:42 If you're new here, I do a segment every day called Donkey of the Day, donkey as in jackass, and that's when I give someone the credit they deserve for being stupid. So if you never heard of it, this is new to you, but if you are a regular listener, then this is an oldie but goodie because it's the best of the donkey of the day.
Starting point is 00:54:56 Donkey of the Day goes to young Kodak Black, okay? I have always enjoyed Kodak Black's music, even though when he talks and raps, he sounds like lawn equipment. He sounds just like lawn equipment. That boy be snapping though, okay? And one of my favorite records from Kodak is Tunnel Vision because I don't care what age you are, you can relate
Starting point is 00:55:20 to that sentiment in that song, alright? Let me hear some of that amazing record, please. They don't want to see you winning. They want to see you in the penitentiary. I need me a little baby who's going to listen. I like Kodak Black music. I like Kodak Black's music, too. Okay, but Kodak Black didn't take his own advice, ladies and gentlemen, because he's back in jail. Let's go to WPLG ABC for the
Starting point is 00:55:50 report, please. App star Kodak Black is back behind bars right here in South Florida. BSO deputies arrested the rapper whose real name is Dyson Octave. Records show the 20-year-old is now facing charges that include grand theft of a firearm, possession of marijuana, and child neglect. In October of last year, Kodak Black was indicted in South Carolina after being extradited from Florida to face first-degree criminal sexual conduct. Now, let's unpack this, because everything can't be blamed on youth, because Kodak Black is 20 years old, and he's been in trouble with the law before. All right, in fact, he was serving a one-year house arrest sentence where he needed permission from his probation officer and the court before traveling anywhere. Kodak was also indicted on sexual conduct
Starting point is 00:56:29 charges in October and the case is ongoing. Not to mention, Kodak Black has a rap career, ladies and gentlemen. Kodak Black was making money out here in these streets. You can't write a song like Tunnel Vision speaking on how they want to see you in the penitentiary and then do things or be around things that land you back in the penitentiary.
Starting point is 00:56:47 Let me read you what Kodak Black got hit with. Now, keep in mind, he's on house arrest and he's on probation. OK, listen to these charges. Grand theft of a firearm. That's like a stolen gun. Two charges of possession of weapons or ammo by a felon. Possession of marijuana over 20 grams. Child neglect with great bodily harm.
Starting point is 00:57:05 I don't even know what that means. And two probation violation charges. Now, I'm not the highest grade of weed in the dispensary, but if I'm on house arrest and probation, and I know they want to see me in the penitentiary, then why am I helping they put me in there? All right, there's absolutely no excuse for this. And hey, if someone says, well, the stuff they found wasn't even Kodak Blacks. Okay, even still,
Starting point is 00:57:26 if you all know my situation, all my people around me, y'all know I'm on house arrest, y'all know I'm on probation. Don't come around me with guns and drugs because you know that's a probation violation. Even if I don't know better, I need you to know better for me. Okay? I'm the breadwinner. I'm the leader.
Starting point is 00:57:41 If I tell you to bring some weed to the house, if I tell you to bring me a pistol, if you really love me, tell me no. Yeah, I might curse you out and say I'm not rocking with you no more, but I'll come back around eventually. Because here's the thing that yes men seem to not understand. You're trying to protect your position by doing everything this artist wants you to do. But when those things he wants you to do threaten that artist's freedom or his life. You have to tell him no because guess what? If that artist goes to jail, if that artist dies, guess what? Yes, man, you don't have a position anymore anyway.
Starting point is 00:58:13 Okay? I guarantee right now Kodak Black is sitting in that cell thinking about all the people around him who told him no. All the people he probably got mad at over the years that was telling him change his ways before he blows everything. I bet Kodak is thinking about all those people wishing he would have listened. I wish Kodak Black the best. I don't like to see anyone incarcerated, but he made conscious decisions to break the
Starting point is 00:58:34 law, and he knew what the consequences of his actions would be. Or maybe he didn't. Okay, I'm sure him and people close to him are saying things right now like, God, don't make no mistakes. Everything happens for a reason. And this is a minor setback for a major comeback. Well, no, it's not.
Starting point is 00:58:49 It's not a minor setback. It's a major setback. A possible I may not be home until I'm in my 40s setback. And if you are in Kodak Black's team and Kodak Black says to you, everything happens for a reason, tell him you're right. But sometimes the reason is that you're stupid and you make bad decisions. Please give Kodak Black the biggest hee-haw, please. All right.
Starting point is 00:59:10 Hey, man, there's consequences to your actions out here in these streets. You kids going to learn that the hard way. I hope he fixes up. All right, we got more coming up next. We're The Breakfast Club. The Breakfast Club. Morning, everybody. It's DJ Envy, Angela Yee, Charlamagne Tha God. We are The Breakfast Club. It's Ask Yee, 800-585-1051 if you got a question for Yee.
Starting point is 00:59:33 Hello, who's this? It's Arietta. Hi. Arietta, what's your question for Yee? I have this ex, right? And he wants to really be with me. Like, I want to be with him, and he wants to be with me. But the only thing is, I feel like if I stay with him, if I be with him, I'm we really want to, like, I want to be with him and he wants to be with me. But the only thing is,
Starting point is 00:59:45 I feel like if I stay with, if I be with him, I'm going to always cheat on him. Why? Because he has a small pecker. Okay, you're not a ho. That's actually
Starting point is 00:59:57 a very valid reason. And I'm sure he's aware of it. I think he is. And I'm like, but I really want to be with him. Like, he loves my kids. He loves me. And, but I just.
Starting point is 01:00:08 All right, so let me ask you this. Does he make you orgasm? No. Damn. With his, with the, not the bottom. So wait, you've had an orgasm before from him? Yes. Okay, well, here's the thing.
Starting point is 01:00:22 I'm going to tell you a couple of things. I feel your pain. You don't feel any pain, but I will say that usually guys with small penises are great at other things. Is he good at oral sex? Yes. Is he passionate in other ways? Yes. There's no point in you being with somebody
Starting point is 01:00:38 if you're just going to cheat on them. I'll say that much, but there's guys with huge penises that don't know what they're doing. So you should be glad that you have somebody who has a small penis and is able to still make you have an orgasm and please you in that way and take great care of your kids and take great care of you. Andy Lee will tell you what you want to hear, boy. Have you ever been with a guy with a huge penis that isn't good?
Starting point is 01:01:00 No, I haven't. Charlotte made always orgasms. No, I haven't. I haven't. Charlamagne always orgasms. No, I haven't. But, okay. I'm just saying. Because the thing about it is I like stimulation and penetration. She was saying penetration. I like stimulation and penetration.
Starting point is 01:01:18 I mean, like, so it's like, it's hard. How small is it? You know. Ooh. Let me see. Hold out your hand. And pull your finger down to your thumb. Your thumb? So it's like, it's hard. How small is it? And, you know, who, let me see. Hold out your hand and pull your fingers out of your thumb. Your thumb?
Starting point is 01:01:29 Your thumb? Why don't y'all just scissor with each other? Y'all rub **** together. What about, can you guys use toys? I don't think he's into that. No, I mean on you. Like, if you, you gotta try and experiment with other things.
Starting point is 01:01:43 Try to get some vibrators involved and get him to do that to you. Buy him a strap-on. Oh, wow. No, no, no. I'm not going to do that. No, but I'm saying you could use some toys and stuff like that. I mean, like, I'm like, okay, you're going to make it known that I have a little peck. You got to buy me a big one?
Starting point is 01:02:01 Like, what? Yeah, I guess you're right. Sex is a very important part of a relationship, and so I feel you with that. But I also feel like if he can have that passionate, intimate connection with you and still make you orgasm, you should be okay with that. And if you're going to cheat, then just don't be with him. Find what you want.
Starting point is 01:02:19 But remember, the penis isn't always bigger on the other side. What? The grass isn't always greener. You might go get with somebody with a bigger penis, and everything else might be wrong. And then you're going to regret it, penis isn't always bigger on the other side. What? Like the grass isn't always greener. You might go get with somebody with a bigger penis and everything else might be wrong. And then you're going to regret it. And then you want to get back with him. This is why it's so unfair to be a man, man.
Starting point is 01:02:36 We can't go out and get plastic surgery to make our penises bigger. You can. It just won't be that much. No, you can't. You can't make it no longer. They do have penile enlargement. No, they don't. Have you tried? It's all girth.
Starting point is 01:02:43 I've looked into it. Okay. Ain't nothing to do with length, all right? You girls, I can get ass shots and fake breasts and hair and weave. I can't get no extensions for my penis. And now you want to leave me. You want to leave me just because God blessed me with a little pecker. Oh, Jesus, don't do that.
Starting point is 01:02:58 And what you don't understand is paper cuts hurt, too, especially when they wet. Okay? What? Well, somebody in this room has a small penis. Okay, we have clearly brought that out there. Identified. All right, well,
Starting point is 01:03:12 good luck to you. But listen, don't be with somebody if you're going to cheat on them. That's all I have to say. That's going to make him feel terrible. There's God testing you and you know what, man?
Starting point is 01:03:18 When you're not thankful for the little things you have in life, you don't get blessed with more. And we mean little. Thank you, mama. I'm letting you know that right now. All right.
Starting point is 01:03:25 Ask Yee, 800-585-1051. If you got a question for Yee, call her right now. It's the Breakfast Club. Good morning. Good morning, everybody. It's DJ Envy, Angela Yee, Charlamagne Tha God. We are the Breakfast Club. It's time for Ask Yee.
Starting point is 01:03:37 Hello, who's this? Hey, this is Vine from Detroit. What up, dog? What up, dog? Shout out to the D. What's good? What's your question for Yeezy? Nothing.
Starting point is 01:03:45 Okay, well, I'm from Detroit. My baby daddy, he's from Bedstock, Brooklyn. That's where I live. Okay, but I don't like that right now because I was trying to find him up in Atlanta City or whatever. We was making our money or whatever. And then this a**hole is out with my money, and we're still going to take over a**hole with my money took out Kanko
Starting point is 01:04:05 and went to take Kanko with another chick with my money. Wait, slow down, slow down, slow down. So, you guys were in Atlantic City. Y'all was making money
Starting point is 01:04:13 together. What were you guys doing? I was tricking folks. Okay, so you're an escort, a prostitute? Yeah, well, something like that.
Starting point is 01:04:20 I was just getting money. We was doing everything we could get money, basically. I like money or whatever. So, he's a pimp? So wait, hold on, hold on. You robbed your pimp? What'd you take? What'd you take? I robbed his aunt. So wait, hold on, hold on. You robbed your pimp? I robbed my baby daddy now.
Starting point is 01:04:46 He's my baby daddy. What'd you take? What'd you take? I took two Rolex watches. I took a Chanel bag. I took whatever I took. His other baby mama took the safe. We was climbing up the damn condo.
Starting point is 01:04:59 And the neighbors didn't say nothing because they saw me always in and out. What size are those Rolexes? Shut up, Envy. I'm sorry. Go ahead. So you robbed your baby daddy along with his other baby mom? Yeah. And she don't like me because I caught her watching to give her half up.
Starting point is 01:05:12 It's just the point that he want me to move out there. How can I like together? You know what I'm saying? I work a freaking lot. This is ghetto shenanigans. I'm going to school or whatever. And now he's telling me he ain't taking care of my son unless I pay him. So he's not going to take care of the child you guys have together unless you pay him?
Starting point is 01:05:32 Yep. Isn't that his job to kind of pay to take care of his own child? He said he can't take care of my son unless I take care of the family. And I told him, I said, no, I'm not about to do that. Okay, I think you got to sort these things out. Number one, first and foremost, for the sake of your child told him, I said no. I'm not about to do that. Okay, I think you gotta sort these things out. Number one, first and foremost, for the sake of your child, right? Mm-hmm. You're not trying to be with him, are you?
Starting point is 01:05:51 I don't know. You don't know. So, in a way, you are. You want to get back together with him. I just want to get some money. Hey, boo, all money ain't good money, though, right? I need some money, but I'm just saying, don't you want to be there for your child and be a good example and a role model and make sure nothing happens to you and you don't go to jail or something worse happens?
Starting point is 01:06:10 Yeah, that's the only thing. That's in the way. You know what I'm saying? I was like, you know, I can't be doing all that because I can't get locked up. You know what I'm saying? I've never been to jail. And you will get locked up at some point. And I don't think jail's for me.
Starting point is 01:06:23 I'm sitting up here for eight hours. I don't think it's for me. I'm sitting up here for eight hours. I don't think it's for you either. Listen, in my own opinion, I think that you should be happy that you managed to get away from this man that was a pimp and doing everything else because that was just going to go down the wrong path for you. Listen, we all want to get money, right? But sometimes you've got to sacrifice and go through periods of time
Starting point is 01:06:44 that we're not making that much money so that later on, in the future, in a couple of years from now, you can legitimately make good money. Well, I go to law school. I'm entering to law school the year after next. But he talking about that's in the way. Why are you even listening to what he has to say about what you
Starting point is 01:07:00 want to do with your life? Because he's telling me I need direction. It sounds like somebody that's advising you to not go to school and not go to law school and saying that that's getting in the way is actually in the way himself. It sounds like in order for him to control you, he wants to make sure that you never make something more out of your life. Yeah,
Starting point is 01:07:16 you're right. You're right. Don't ain't going back out there. He's twisted. Yeah, you definitely... Because everybody's telling me don't go back out there. Alright, well, I'm telling you don't go back out there. He's trying to, I'm telling you don't go back out there. He's trying to persuade me and talking about we're going to get this nice ass house in Pennsylvania and all this stuff. But he's lying. I don't know.
Starting point is 01:07:32 And you know he mess with mad other chicks, too. Oh, of course. And he's telling them the same thing. He brought me to his other chicks. He ain't no liar. He's going to let me know what it is right then and there. He ain't got the secret code. Nothing. That's the only thing. And you're okay with that? Yeah. He ain't no liar. He don't let me know what it is right then and there. He ain't about the secret code, nothing.
Starting point is 01:07:46 Okay. That's the only thing. And you're okay with that? Yeah, I mean, I don't even know. I don't like it. I'm going to tell you something right now. We always say, well, at least he ain't lying. Well, at least he kept it real. At least he's upfront about it.
Starting point is 01:07:57 These other dudes out here be lying. No, it's not at least that. It's not okay for somebody to do stuff like that to you just because they being honest about it. Yeah, you're right. But, I mean, I prefer somebody to do stuff like that to you just because they're being honest about it? Yeah, you're right. But, I mean, I prefer somebody to tell me the truth. I'd rather... How about you would rather somebody not do that? How about be with somebody that doesn't do those things, that's not bringing you to other women's houses,
Starting point is 01:08:16 that's not cheating on you, that helps you take care of your family, that supports you and wants you to go to school and do better for your life? Why can't you find somebody like that? Man, that's some square s***, though. Like, these guys out here, they want you to go to school and do better for your life. Why can't you find somebody like that? Man, that's some square s*** though. Like, these guys are weird. They want you to give them money, and they ain't doing nothing for you. Listen, forget about them doing
Starting point is 01:08:33 something for you. What about you doing something for yourself? I mean, I can do something for myself. I got my own s***. Alright, good. Well, you keep your own-ish and take care of your child and handle that. Instead of thinking about getting this fast money, think about securing a bag for later on in the future, having a foundation, having your education together
Starting point is 01:08:52 so you can do and be anything you want to be in life. Yeah, you're right. I'm going to take that advice. Y'all have a good day. All right, you too. I hope she don't call him right now. All right, asky. I don't even know what went on in that call,
Starting point is 01:09:03 but if you deciphered it and figured it out, I'm happy. It was just madness. All right, we got more coming up next. We're The Breakfast Club. The Breakfast Club. Morning, everybody. It's DJ Envy, Angela Yee, Charlamagne Tha God. We are The Breakfast Club.
Starting point is 01:09:20 Ask C&E. If you need relationship advice, we'll help you out. Hello, who's this? Hey, what's going on, man? It's Jeffrey. Hey, Jeffrey, man. What's your question for us, man? So I got three baby moms.
Starting point is 01:09:29 One of them just causing a lot of problems making false accusations and stuff like that. So I just kind of want to see how I can weed her out and still be able to stay with my girlfriend without her causing rumors and all that good stuff. So you got three baby mamas, but your baby mom is messing up your new girlfriend. Basically, yeah. The advice I would give you, sir, is it's a guy named Doc Brown that you should seek out. Doc Brown has invented a time machine. It's in the form of a DeLorean.
Starting point is 01:09:54 You should get into that DeLorean and go back in time and wear a condom, sir. That's what you should do. Well, sir, I mean, there's really nothing you can do. I mean, you put yourself in that position. You have three baby moms. You got to deal with it for the rest of your life. The only thing I would do is try to separate my baby moms from my girlfriend, unless they're trying to get in touch with her on social media and things like that.
Starting point is 01:10:12 And then I would go into my girlfriend's phone and block them myself so they have no way to speak to each other. And you should wear condoms now so you don't have a fourth baby mama because your protection game is clearly trash. Very trash. Yeah. Well, she already been blocked, she's like calling some different numbers sending videos and all that stuff like that and i'm actually looking to propose to my um current girlfriend now but she's just calling
Starting point is 01:10:34 like a whole bunch of problems so i wouldn't marry you you got three kids from three different baby mamas i wouldn't marry you if i was her well i'm i'm glad you wouldn't marry him you're married already sir yeah hello who's this? Hey, this is Anonymous. Okay, hey, Anonymous. What's your question for C&E? I want to know, okay, well, me and my husband
Starting point is 01:10:51 have been together for eight years. We'll be married to about four, one on five years now. And my question is, how do I get him to be ready for children? Because every year he wants to put it off another year.
Starting point is 01:11:03 And then we get to this year and then all of a sudden he doesn't want to do it again. He wants to wait another year. And I'm confused because, you know, we don't have children. He's 35. I'm 32. And I'm not sure what the issue is. Why doesn't he want a child right now?
Starting point is 01:11:17 He doesn't say. He never really says. He just says, you know, I just want to wait another year. I want to enjoy being married. But it's like we've been together for eight years. Is it financial? Is it the money? No, not at all. You ever heard of oops? No. He ain't never shot your
Starting point is 01:11:31 club up by accident? Y'all still using condoms? No. Oh, if y'all not using condoms, I'm going to be honest with you, your box might be kind of trash. Oh, stop it. No, the reason I said... Ain't nothing wrong with the box, Charlamagne. Nah, I'm going to be honest, man. If I'm hitting it raw every now and then, I'm going to shoot that club up just because. Just because I can't hold it.
Starting point is 01:11:48 Are you on the pill? I don't want to pull out. I was on the pill. I recently got off of it because I thought we were going to be ready. He said he was ready, and then he said he's not now. So I'm just like, okay, well, what's the issue? Repeat after me. Say, oops.
Starting point is 01:12:00 Oops. There you go. No, I thought I missed the pill there I'm so sorry baby No don't do that That's trapping the man Don't trap the man Exactly
Starting point is 01:12:09 They've been together 8 years They're married There's no trapping They're together for life If y'all been together 8 years And y'all having unprotected sex It's only a matter of time boo Unless something wrong
Starting point is 01:12:17 Fertilely Okay other than that Y'all gonna be fine Just keep on doing What you're doing You know what Charlamagne Thank you for being positive
Starting point is 01:12:24 I was worried calling you. Come on now. Hello, who's this? This is Juice. Hey, your name is Juice? Yeah. All right, Juice. You sound like your baby in the backseat choking on some juice right now.
Starting point is 01:12:34 Why are you coughing so much? What's your question? I got coffee kids in the back. Whoa. All right. What's your question, Mama? My question is, for some reason, it's not hard for me to find a date or find somebody to deal with.
Starting point is 01:12:45 But I just cannot keep anyone. That's because of them two little kids in the back. Stop. How many kids do you have back there, Mama? I have a set of twins and a son. All right. You got a set of twins. You got five kids?
Starting point is 01:13:00 She got three kids. A set of twins and a son. A set of twins. Okay. All right. I'm stupid. South Carolina Public School Education. So you got three kids. Nobody want no ready-made cell. A set of twins. Okay. All right. I'm stupid. South Carolina public school education. So you got three kids.
Starting point is 01:13:07 Nobody want no ready-made family, ma. That's just all it is. Okay. Well, let me ask you a question. How are you? How do you look? Are you in the gym? Do you look nice?
Starting point is 01:13:14 Tell us how your parents look. I mean, well, I recently lost a lot of weight and I look damn good. All right. I mean, like, why? On the third, like, everybody's at me. All right. Well, everybody's asking. We don't have a good conversation, though.
Starting point is 01:13:26 Like, I cannot, I hate that. Well, where are you looking for these guys? Nobody wants a ready-made family, ma. Why are we lying to this young lady? You got three kids. That's what it is. Stop. I'm sure, clearly your box is good because people have shot your club up a few times.
Starting point is 01:13:39 You know what I'm saying? But they just don't want to be, they don't want that ready-made family. Now, there's some guys out there who got two and three kids themselves so y'all can come together and make y'all own little ghetto Brady Bunch. But other than that, nah. Well, where are you looking, mama? Are you in the club? See, if you're in the club, yeah, your body might look good.
Starting point is 01:13:55 And like he said, if you're in the club, these guys want to smash and they might not want a ready-made family. I don't club. I don't club in D period. I don't club. I got three kids. Okay, so where are you looking for these guys at? They find me at the grocery store, at the gas station, at the library.
Starting point is 01:14:12 Find a man that has two or three kids like you do. Try Christian Mingle. Christian Mingle. Christian Mingle. Yes, people on Christian Mingle are very forgiving. They're very forgiving. That's all I can come up with. 800-585-1051.
Starting point is 01:14:32 Ask C&E. Call us now. It's The Breakfast Club. Good morning. Everybody, it's DJ Envy, Angela Yee, Charlamagne Tha God. We are The Breakfast Club. Now, Wiz Khalifa stopped through, and he was talking about the way he eats a banana. Let's listen.
Starting point is 01:14:46 Well, you just got to break it in half. We already started, God damn it. If you bite a banana, you sus. Why? God damn, Wiz. Are you an a**hole? That's how you want to start the interview off? No, if you an a**hole, like,
Starting point is 01:14:56 n*****s got to break the banana in half. Pause, but like, you got to. What you mean? You just peel it and bite it? No, see? That's the thing. Man, stop, man. You don't, you got to break it in pieces, bro.
Starting point is 01:15:06 Why? It's just a fruit. And I feel him. That's how I eat a banana. It's not because I think it's sausage. I just don't, you know, I don't. I can't put the whole thing down my, you know what? I just gotta break it.
Starting point is 01:15:16 If you ever vote TV, we have a picture of Envy eating a banana. If you follow me on Instagram. That's your head in my mouth. On the Instagram story, you can see. Why would my hand be in your mouth? You're holding up the banana. There's a picture of Envy eating a banana. That's you. Yes, your head in my mouth. On the Instagram story, you can see, why would my hand be in your mouth? You're holding up the banana. There's a picture of Envy eating a banana.
Starting point is 01:15:26 That's you. Yes, your head. Here's the thing, right? However you want to eat a banana is your business, okay? You know, if you want to peel the banana and bite into it, cool.
Starting point is 01:15:32 If you want to break the banana, fine. But don't say it's suspect just because somebody chooses to just peel the banana and bite into it. It's not suspect. We got to get off of this, you know, pause,
Starting point is 01:15:42 no homo, suspect stuff because the truth to the matter is it's only gay if you're a gay man with a penis in your mouth. It's a banana, all right? It's a fruit. It's not a penis. I can't stick the whole banana down my throat. I break it. Now, if you ever got a banana, right, and you peel off that yellow skin,
Starting point is 01:16:02 and under that yellow skin is a penis, a man's penis, and you put it in your mouth, then we can scream, pause, suspect, gay. Okay? But other than that, no. This is awkward.
Starting point is 01:16:15 No. Israel. Yeah. So how do you eat your banana, bro? Listen, man. You put that thing in your mouth, it's a huge source of potassium. You bite down on it.
Starting point is 01:16:27 That's great. He's right. That's not like it hurts. I'm sorry. I know. See, it's so fun to make these jokes. I get it. You're right, Joe, sir. You're the same one that just said it's not good. I'm in a committed relationship for four years. I love my girlfriend. If another guy is looking at me weird, I'm going to be like, yo, what's up?
Starting point is 01:16:43 And he's going to say to you, don't threaten me with a good time. What's up with you? Exactly. And that banana. And that nice mouth you're putting that banana in. Okay. Listen, a banana a day makes the babies go away. A banana a day, if you bite into it, makes you gay.
Starting point is 01:17:00 See? See? Can't think nothing serious with you guys. No, it's funny. That is funny. Hello, who's this? Man, my name is Cowboy, man. Call me no love.
Starting point is 01:17:10 Cowboy. We know how you even been there. What you like to ride, Cowboy? Nah, check it out, homie. Me and my son just had this conversation, man, about two weeks ago, man. I was taking him to Speed and Strength training right here in Houston, Texas, man. And I told him, man, I always break the banana, man. Oh my gosh. And he asked me why, right?
Starting point is 01:17:28 I had to say to him, I said, man, well, bro, it look like you're putting something in your mouth, man. But you are putting something in your mouth, a banana. But you gotta break it first, man. It look like you put, wait, I don't understand, it look like you put it in your mouth. We love everybody. It ain't no homophobe, nothing like that, man. Everybody, we love everybody.
Starting point is 01:17:43 This is the craziest conversation. I don't think it's homophobic, but it's really the stupidest thing I've ever heard in my life. If anything, I'm going to think you're a savage if you break the banana and then eat it. That's even worse. You're giving your son a false sense of masculinity just because you break a banana. Just because he breaks the banana
Starting point is 01:18:00 don't mean he might not want to suck a d*** one day. You know what I'm saying? What are you talking about? It don't make any sense. That is true. It makes zero sense. Like, it makes zero sense whatsoever. Hello, who's this? Oh, wow, hi. This is Kurt from Westland. Kurt, what up, sis? He's definitely got one. Oh, my God.
Starting point is 01:18:15 I hear it in your voice. What up, Kurt? So, Kurt, tell me how the kids eat bananas, Kurt. The way I eat bananas is like because I'm comfortable with my masculinity and, you know, me being All right. The way I eat bananas is like, because I'm comfortable with my masculinity and, you know, me being heterosexual.
Starting point is 01:18:28 Oh, never mind. I thought you were gay. I just opened it. You could have fooled us, Kurt. You know what I'm saying? I just tear it open one way or the other. I don't really have a preference.
Starting point is 01:18:35 I literally do it on both sides. That's crazy. I got to tell my wife I'm talking to you guys this morning. All jokes aside. That's how you do it. All jokes aside,
Starting point is 01:18:45 y'all masculinity is defined by how y'all eat bananas? Like, seriously? No, I'm talking to you guys this morning. All jokes aside. That's how you do it. All jokes aside, y'all masculinity is defined by how y'all eat bananas? Like, seriously? No, I'm saying because my man, you know, he was saying, oh, you got to break it in half because it seems like you're not comfortable with, you know what I'm saying? He's just being himself.
Starting point is 01:18:57 Like, you eat a banana naturally. You just eat it naturally the way you're supposed to be eating. Like monkeys do it. Whoa. Like monkeys do it. Whoa. Like monkeys do it. Monkeys eat bananas, guys. What do you mean by monkeys?
Starting point is 01:19:14 I'm just messing with you. You guys ever watch the Animal Channel and just watch monkeys eat bananas? All right, man. We're just messing with that. Now we don't watch TV? Now we're messing with you. Have a good day, girl. Hello, who's this?
Starting point is 01:19:25 This is Trey from Jersey. Trey from Jersey. How do they eat their bananas in Jersey, Trey? Hey, there is no straight way to eat a banana, so knowing that, you just got to go all in. Man, what are y'all talking about? Bro, what do you mean there's no straight way to eat a banana? If you're a straight man, however you eat a banana,
Starting point is 01:19:42 is there a straight way to eat a banana? That's what I'm saying. If that's the case, you go for it, man. Deep throw the damn thing if you got to, man. However you eat a banana is the straight way to eat a banana. But there you go. That's what I'm saying. If that's the case, you go for it, man. Deep throat's a damn thing if it got to, man. You, you, you. Okay. You want everybody, you want everybody, you want to convince us you're straight, but you're talking about deep throat and bananas.
Starting point is 01:19:55 But I mean, if there's no straight way to eat it, then why not just go for it? That's what I'm saying. You ain't have to say deep throat to banana. Just say eat it. All right. You got to get that protein somehow, baby. Whoa. Okay. You got that really crazy. somehow, baby. Whoa. Okay.
Starting point is 01:20:05 That got really crazy. What's the moral of the story? That toxic masculinity is ruining this party. That's the moral of the story. All right. We got more coming up next. We're The Breakfast Club. Morning, everybody.
Starting point is 01:20:15 It's DJ Envy, Angela Yee, Charlamagne Tha God. We are The Breakfast Club. You got a positive note for the people? Listen, the positive note is simply this, man. There's a difference between maliciously offending somebody on purpose and somebody being offended by truth. If you're offended by the truth, that's your problem.
Starting point is 01:20:32 I have no obligation to not offend you if I'm speaking the truth, okay? The truth is supposed to offend you. That's how you know you don't got it. Breakfast Club, bitches! You all finished or you all done? Damn. Love and lust. Had enough of this country?
Starting point is 01:20:50 Ever dreamt about starting your own? I planted the flag. This is mine. I own this. It's surprisingly easy. 55 gallons of water, 500 pounds of concrete. Or maybe not. No country willingly gives up their territory. Oh my God.
