Hi, I'm Dr. Priyankawali.
And I'm Hurricane Dabolu.
It's a new year.
And on the podcast, Health Stuff,
we're resetting the way we talk about our health.
Which means being honest about what we know,
what we don't know,
and how messy it can all be.
I like to sleep in late and sleep early.
Is there a chronotype for that,
or am I just depressed?
Health stuff is about learning, laughing,
and feeling a little less alone.

Okay.
I see what 2026 brings.
Good morning, USA!
Yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo,
happy to be here.
It is Thursday.
Yes.
How do, I forgot, no, I just, I really forgot.
I'm black, you're blessed.
You're highly favored.
Yes, I am blessed black and highly favored.
Happy to be here, another day to serve our beautiful listeners.
Good morning.
It's been that long, huh?
I guess.
Happy Thursday, man.
Happy Thursday.
I enjoyed every single moment of vacation.
Y'all ain't about to make me feel bad about not being here.
Not at all.
Back to work.
How are you feeling?
How was your break, Jess?
Man, it was good.
It was really, really good.
I got to relax.
I got to relax.
I had to get up at four, you know.
But it was cool.
Like, it was really cool.
How was y'all?
I spent most of my break at the emergency room in the hospital.
I know.
When I say the flu took my family out, well, you know,
The baby was in the hospital because she had the flu she had.
The flu strep and the sinus infection.
They believed the sinus infection went to her brain.
So we transferred her from Jersey to New York.
And the doctors in New York said Jersey's bugger.
And they don't know what they're talking about.
She doesn't need any brain surgery.
Thank God.
She's back.
Praise God.
But then Brooklyn got the flu.
Which city was sick now?
No, Peyton.
She's not a city.
She's a quarterback.
She's the quarterback.
So there's a...
So then Brooklyn got sick.
Now, there's a flu.
It's called, I believe it's called modiosis, right?
Where it's almost like your legs are frozen and you can't walk.
Damn.
Wow.
So the muscles are so tight that she couldn't walk.
It was almost like your legs are paralyzed.
So she woke up like, I can't walk.
I'm like, shut up.
Walk gas to the back.
She's like, no dad, I can't walk.
So then we had to rush her to the emergency room,
and we found out that some kids get a flu strain where they can't walk.
It's something with the muscles and they can't move.
So she was in the hospital for a couple days.
The doctor was trying to be racist when he looked at the Dominican family and said, this is Madiosis.
That's not like that.
That's why.
That's crazy.
I've never heard of no modiosis.
First of all, I'm black, I'm not Spanish, but you learn a lot.
But was their Christmas good?
Yeah, their Christmas was good.
The baby was home for Christmas.
Brooklyn went after Christmas, so we were all just tight together.
It was a better Christmas for us this year because it was just about family and family being together.
And health is the greatest gift.
And health is the greatest gift.
So if your kids have a fever or they have flu symptoms, just stay on top of them.
Because a lot of times we went to the pediatricians.
We even went to urgent care on the weekend.
They were like, no, it just has to go through the system.
Nah, nah, nah, no.
But that was mine.
And what about you, Sheldon?
You was in Africa, South Africa.
I love Africa.
I went to Cape Town, you know.
I love Cape Town.
A couple of the kids were sick.
The wife was sick, but why I be sick here?
So we went to Cape Town, you know what I mean?
I like to go to Africa at least once a year.
So I spent Christmas in New Year's Eve in Cape Town, South Africa.
Beautiful country, man.
And it is very, what's the word?
It puts a lot of things in perspective when you go to other countries
and you see that they tapped in with what we're doing over here as well.
Because I tell you, man, there was an African brother, a South African brother,
who walked up to me in the club, and I didn't understand what he was saying.
And he kept, you're triggering me, you're triggering me, you're triggering me, Sholome.
And I'm like, what the hell's going on?
But he was talking about DeLu Pappington, Det Dash.
Oh, so he was making fun of him.
But his accent was throwing him off.
I didn't know what the hell was going on.
You got to swing on the brother.
I wasn't going to swing on him.
I just was trying to figure out what the hell was going on.
Do you know what I mean?
You know, your body doesn't sense the threat until you hear what the...
Because you understand what you're saying.
Imagine the African Dame Das.
That's what he was right.
That's what it was.
But now, it's beautiful over in Cape Town.
Very beautiful.
It reminds you like, like, Malibu.
Malibu or Miami is show
They even got dispensaries
Yes
Like Mike Tyson got a whole dispensary in Cape Town
It's beautiful
And you know that's my favorite edible
So I was over there
You know we're sitting and it's like a dispensary
Coffee lounge
So we was over there cool
That's dope
Went to the script club
Yeah
Throwing rants
With the Mavericks
Mavericks
Yeah drop on the clues bonds
The Mavericks
The beach was amazing
Man I got a massage in Mavericks
bro
I got a massage in Mavericks
Man
You got a massage in the strip club

That is crazy.
In the strip club.
In the strip club!
Salute to Maverick to Cape Town.
You hear me?
All right.
Well, let's get the show cracking.
We got front page news.
Mimi's actually in studio today.
So we should be breaking everything down.
And Tray Young got traded last night.
We'll tell you about that as well.
So don't move.
It's the Breakfast Club.
Good morning.
Oh, drop on a club ball.
Oh, yeah.
We're here, baby.
This is a Queens Anthem right here.
Rising to the top.
Wake your ass up.
It's 2026, y'all.
That's a Queens Anthem right there.
Rising to the top, Kenny Burke.
Morning, everybody.
Everybody is Steve, Jake, N.
No, he's not from Queens, but that's like the anthem.
Man, that's our anthem.
That's our anthem.
That's a Queens, New York Anthem.
That is. That is a Queen's going to claim a whole record.
That is a Queen's New York Anthem.
That is a anthem.
When that record comes on, it's a Queens thing.
You think it was only playing the Queens?
No, but that is our anthem.
I love it too.
I rode in listening to that.
But that is our anthem.
Oh, that's what I'm all right.
Well, good morning, everybody.
Let's get in some front page news.
Start off with some quick sports.
NBA, Tray Young has been traded.
He's been traded from the Hawks to the Wizards.
so I don't know what that means for Trey Young
because the Wiz is probably the worst team in basketball right now.
Jesus Christ.
Are they?
Yeah, they are.
Damn it, man.
Sorry for you, Trey.
All right.
What's up, Mimi?
Good morning, Mee.
Jasholomein.
How y'all doing?
Hey, what's up, Mimi?
Happy New Year.
Happy New Year.
I'm good.
I'm good.
Happy to be here with y'all this morning.
All right, so we start this morning with national unrest
after a federal immigration agent
fatally shot a woman during an ice operation in Minneapolis.
The protests are spreading from California
to New York City.
Now, the woman, she's been identified as 37-year-old
Renee Nicole Good, a Minneapolis resident
and U.S. citizen who was not the target
of the immigration raid.
Local leaders describe her as someone
who cared deeply about her community.
She was a mother to a six-year-old.
She was warning neighbors about ice activity
when the confrontation happened.
Now, video shows federal agents
surrounding her SUV as she tried to leave the scene.
Moments later, an ice agent opened fire.
Let's listen to a witness.
She was trying to block traffic and then they got aggressive and she was scared and she started
to drive off. She was trying to comply with what they said to get out of here. Then they were
trying to pull her out of the car and that's when she got scared and tried to drive away.
She got shot and then immediately her foot went on the gas. She drove off maybe 100 feet and
then hit the telephone pole and hit some cars and then she was just slumped in her vehicle.
They wouldn't let anybody near her. They had their guns out and were saying, stay back, stay
back, stay back. We have a neighbor who was, he's a physician and he was yelling. I'm a physician.
Can I please administer CPR? Can I check her vitals? Can I please get through? And they said,
no, shut up. We don't care. We have our own medics on their way. And then it was like 15
minutes before the EMS truck got here.
Damn. Yeah. I'm sad. Very sad. And the Department of Homeland Security, they say the agent
fired in self-defense and they are calling it an act of domestic terrorism.
Let's listen to Secretary Kristy Knoem on this one.
People need to stop using their vehicles as weapons.
This domestic act of terrorism to use your vehicle to try to kill law enforcement officers is going to stop.
And I'm asking the Department of Justice to prosecute it as domestic terrorism.
Because it's clear that it's being coordinated.
People are being trained and told how to use their vehicles to impede law enforcement operations
and then to run over anybody who gets in their way while they go out there and try to disrupt peace and public safety.
And Americans deserve better.
another video because the video I saw, I ain't see
none of that she's talking about. I didn't see nobody
trying to run over. She looked like she was
trying to get out the way and the officer never got hit
right? So she looked like she was getting out the way
he fired three shots. There is
no way in hell you can say that she
was trying to run that office over. Absolutely.
You can't even remotely say that from
any of those videos. Not at all.
And from what I read, ICE agents
can be arrested and prosecuted if they commit
crime. So an example needs to be made.
If there's no blanket immunity
for illegal actions and he committed a state crime,
beyond the scope of his lawful duties, he should be a right.
But the problem is if Trump officials are saying
it was an act of domestic terrorism,
what's going to happen if he is found guilty?
He'd be going to get parted.
Well, it'll be a, no, because it'll be a state crime.
It'll be a state crime.
But to your point, envy, local leaders,
they are rejecting that account.
The mayor there, Jacob Fry,
he called the federal claims,
what they're saying, he called it false
and saying what he saw in that video
did not show a threat to officers.
He had very strong language.
Let's listen to that real quick.
They are already trying to spin this
as an action of self-defense.
Having seen the video of myself,
I want to tell everybody directly.
That is bull-h-h-t.
This was an agent recklessly using power
that resulted in somebody dying, getting killed.
There were dozens, if not hundreds,
of ICE and federal officers
that were there at the time.
Having them there was only causing more chaos.
Having them there was only making a difficult situation
even more problematic,
and one that, yes,
They created themselves.
And I have a message for ICE.
To ICE, get the fuck out of Minneapolis.
Well, if it's BS and prove his BS and arrest his ICE agent, identify them and arrest them.
Yeah.
That's as simple as that.
I totally agree.
You got to set an example.
If a crime was committed, a crime was committed.
But y'all also have to remember that this is not happening in a vacuum, right?
There's a lot happening in Minnesota.
We've got, you know, the Trump administration, they have been laser focused on Minneapolis.
They're talking about the Somali community.
They've investigated Somali-run daycares there.
And they've, I don't know if you guys heard about the Hilton Hotel fiasco,
where they canceled the reservations for the federal immigration agents.
So that also happened there.
So there's a lot happening in Minneapolis.
Is there oil in Minneapolis?
What the hell is going on?
What's happening?
What's up, man?
That's crazy.
Listen, y'all.
There's a lot happen.
So we will continue to follow that story.
I'm sure that is a developing story, which will continue to evolve.
And coming up at 7, a quiet move by the federal government this week could mean.
more money taken straight out of your paycheck
will explain how this could affect you
and what you need to know.
All right. Everybody else, get it off your chest.
800-585-105-1.

I don't think that's the smart thing to do, sir.

I hope everybody has a beautiful day today.
And don't let these worldly things stress you out.
We just have to pray together as a world, not just the community as a world.
Because it's some sick stuff going on.
I'm sorry.
I agree.
I'm with you 100%.
You know what I mean?
I do believe that, you know, faith without works is dead.
So, you know, we should be, you know, protesting or doing what it is that we should be doing in that
way in that regard.
But, yo, God is in control of everything.
Absolutely.
Lovey, good morning, Lovey.
Good morning, my breakfast club, family.
Good morning.
What's up, Lovey?
How are you feeling?
You know, I'm blessed, black, and highly favorite.
But I do want to say, in first, respectfully, I had to get the green light from the Whitey.
But shout out for belated.
Shout out to Mimi for her birthday.
Shout to my son, LaVante.
And your son, Logan.
The Logan birthday was, what, the 29th?
28th.
But, yeah, same day as my son.
Yeah, 28th.
Would you call Mimi wifey?
No, no, no.
Call his wifey to see if it was okay.
to say happy birthday to meet me.
Oh, all right, because you ain't never
say that when you say that about Taze.
You ain't never talk about, I got to talk to Wifee.
And he's talking about Tess as his wifey.
Oh, Tad's wifey.
You said, yeah, Taz didn't go to make sure it was cool to shout out.
Oh, yeah, Taz ain't going to like that.
I'm telling you that right now.
You ain't asked.
No, no, I got the green light.
I got the green light.
Okay.
And I know you didn't hear, but Taz did crash out on her live about me.
But we'll talk about that later.
She did.
She crashed out about you.
I missed that.
That's right.
Yeah, you got to ask her.
She crashed out, she admitted her love.
But anyway, when I talk about that.
Goodbye, Lovie.
You showed her that thing, Lovie?
What is wrong with you?
Love you have a good one, brother.
Crazy.
I love y'all, man.
Love you too.
If anybody's just joining us,
Lovey is a listener of ours
who allegedly has a 14-inch penis.
What's he?
Yeah.
Not, yeah.
Yeah.
That's what he says all the time.
I don't know if that's doing.
I've never dove in the check,
but that's what he says.
What?
I said, I never checked.
I would hope you never dove into it.
I hope you never checked, bro.
What the hell isn't wrong with you?
Hello, who's this?
I'm not doing this with you this year.
I'm not doing this with you this year.
Hello?
Hey, yo.
What's your name, brother?
What's going on?
What's your name, brother?
What's going on?
What's up?
What up?
Hey, quick question.
I got in the car a little bit late,
but I came to the defense of Charlemagne.
Yesterday, you know, the last guy from Detroit
who, the cousin called up
and tried to go off on you, right?
The who did what?
So just so you know, this is our first day back.
So the show that you were yesterday was a replay.
So you got to tell us exactly what happened.
All right, all right.
Real quick, the guy from Detroit and we went up to the school and said he saw aired this out,
and then she called up and tried to, you know, jump on Charterman head.
I remember that.
So look, let me give you the proximity of it.
So she said that he was out there where the white people are, right?
And they don't mess with us out there like that.
Yes.
She was wrong.
So you got Detroit.
Then, mine was, you know, eight mile, right?
the movie 8 miles. Everybody knows 8 miles, right?
East Point is literally
9.5 miles to 10 mile.
So when she said that
she's completely wrong.
I can see if she would have said, like, Rock up the Hills
or she would have said the suburbs.
That would have made sense.
Also, to give you more context of it,
without giving out so many names,
the AD of that school is somebody
who we play ball with frequently.
Duke said he didn't say he was going to
air it out in those words.
What he said was,
If y'all don't fix this, next time y'all see me, it's going to be dust in the air.
So, I mean, we understand what that means, right?
Okay.
So, yeah, that's all.
I want to come in and, you know, go back for you a quick.
I came in late to the car face.
Y'all don't know what to get off your chest was, but.
Yeah, that was like two months before.
But thank you, Mike.
Yeah, that was a while ago.
Sloop to everybody who listens to us on 97.9 WJLB in Detroit.
Y'all coming in hot this morning.
Can we just even?
No, can we ease and, can we ease and, you know, all of this?
This is a lot.
This is a lot.
Get it off your chest.
800-585-105.1.
What's up, Lauren?
Good morning, y'all.
He was out in Africa, right?
What part?
Yes, I was in Ghana.
In Ghana.
Yes, it was great.
Oh, my God.
I didn't want to come back.
I love it there.
Did you?
It was just so free.
I had such a good time.
You look very refreshed.
I took a break.
I had a good break.
I loved it over there.
I'm going to go back.
I will be back in Ghana.
You went back?
Yeah.
Me and Ben went for the New Year.
And we had, oh, I'll tell you all about it.
but I saw Bozma out there.
We spent New Year's Eve with Bozma and Keeley.
Remember her fiancee from the show?
We spent New Year's Eve with them.
It was a great time.
Nice.
All right.
You need to edge up.
Leave me alone.
Oh, my God.
Can we ease into getting in?
I feel like I need to lineups.
I don't get lineups.
It makes it too hard.
All right.
We have the latest coming up.
Yes, we do.
Speaking of easing into things,
Jim Jones and Cameron are not letting us ease into nothing
because they are back at it again,
top of 2026.
The beef is ongoing,
to talk about who ain't got no heat.
We're eight days in.
All right.
We'll get to that next.
It's the breakfast club.
Come morning.
Hey, we're talking, L.L. Cubey.
Yeah.
I'm not dumbing myself.
Damn.
I'm being myself.
Take me through that.
That's course is my stuff.
I'm the homeguard that knows a little bit about everything and everything.
All right.
Little brown girls look at you and go, I want to be like you.
Take me through that.
Take me through that.
Where is she's going.
The latest with Nari-Lose on the breakfast club.
All-Cubbe.
Talk to me.
Taylor. Taylor was working during the holiday break.
Taylor was getting engaged and nursing.
Yes.
Making new intro.
Taylor's back.
Drop on the clothes bombs for Taylor gag.
She said, she told me you have a new intro,
but I thought she was talking about the podcast
because she also edits the ladies who La Rosa the podcast.
I didn't know she was talking about for the show.
That caught me soft guard.
You were so good at your job.
I like Fiancee Taylor.
Okay.
I never thought I would see it, but I like it.
Taylor had me crying over the brain.
I cried.
Your time is it will never come.
But continue.
Damn.
You know what? It is a new year, and you know what I'm doing this year?
I'm wishing the best for all of my enemies.
There you go.
Okay, because God's going to give it to me.
I'm going to tell you.
When Lauren was holding Taylor's baby, it's scared to it's out of me and Shal of me.
I knew what to do.
You look like Rashon Rock.
The baby had to back.
Wow.
I do.
I do how to hold it to show.
Get the baby back to Taylor.
You know what?
It's not my time yet, but when it is, I will have a car seat for the baby.
Ms. Gwen was so nervous.
It was all over.
Oh, my God.
Taylor, thank you for trusting me with your baby.
She tried to make the baby walk the baby.
I was six months old.
She got to hold the baby up to walk.
I'm like, come on, man.
You watched them memes too much
and them baby's dancing
and you've been believing it.
Taylor's baby loved me.
Okay, he didn't cry.
So I got through it.
He was probably scared.
All right.
Now, let's get to the news.
So in the news, top of the year,
Ray J, I want to send some love to Ray J
because it is being reported
and there was a video posted
of Ray J.
It has been hospitalized
with a serious case of pneumonia and heart pain.
so he was admitted to a hospital in Vegas following these issues
and according to the reports via TMZ he is still in a hospital
he's received x-rays and EKGs like they're checking out his heart
but as of now there's been no updates on anything as far as those test results
but you know he talks about or he said before that he was pretty scared of pneumonia
because four years ago during the pandemic kid got it and it was so bad he was like
going to breathe the machine and all those things and pneumonia is just really scary
he thought he was going to die then so he's in the hospital
in the video he posted or that was posted.
You can hear him asking a question,
just wanting to know what's going on with himself.
Let's take a listen to Ray J.
If they see something along my heart,
do they got to take it out?
Take your heart out?
What are you talking about, like, fluid?
Oh, yeah.
Yeah, like if it was like a clot or anything.
Yeah.
If you're like in your heart, it sits in a sack,
and there's a little bit of fluid around us in the sack.
Is that what you're speaking of?
Yeah.
You had like an extra fluid or?
You see that?
I, the cardiologist is going to look at it further.
And, man, salute to the good brother, Ray J.
Sending my good brother healing energy, man.
Yeah, pneumonia is very dangerous.
It is, yes.
Yes, so, yeah, sending him some love and some prayers.
You tell him how soon?
So that I know of he is.
I did, I shot him a text just to tell him to get well soon and just take it easy.
And, you know, because Ray J will still try and like push, push, push, push, push.
Do you respond?
No, he, I didn't expect him to respond.
I just wanted him to know that we were like sending him love and wanting him to get better.
Yeah.
Sluved him to Ray J.
Yes.
now in other news
Cameron and Jim Jones are back
at it again
yeah and this time Cameron is in
Jim Jones doesn't have heat
or that's how Jim Jones took it
so Cam posted a meme to his Instagram
heat
heat like you know how you have heat in your house
or heat in your job like you turn the heat
on because it's cold outside
like the power company
I thought she was talking about like bars
music is that I don't think about
Jim Jones and the rap about the podcast got bars
we can play that too they drop some bars over
there you know but no heat in the house
Okay, so let me tell you.
So Cameron posted this meme, and it was vague.
He didn't act Jim Jones or anything.
The meme said, how are you worried about me when you heat off and rent is due?
And then he captioned it.
I heard it was seven degrees in the Bronx last night.
But you guys know, Jim Jones has been going back and forth with 50 cents.
There's been a conversation about rent, who hasn't paid, all the things.
So, you know, people begin to speculate that it was about Jim Jones,
and Jim Jones hopped in the comments of the post.
And he said to Cameron, you soft.
He said your whole crew is soft.
He said you want to play, pull up, let the people.
We'll see how soft you are, Trump.
He says,
Go do your shoe, punk, but he meant show.
Talking about it is what it is.
So, Cameron responded, what's wrong, Capo?
You heat off, too? I ain't know.
He said, I hate for you to be 50 years old
with no heat. What's your Zelle, bro? I got you.
So Jim, Jim Jones responded,
A Block, no, you soft.
Cameron responded, yeah, but my heat is on.
And I'm warm. You, 50 years old, tough and cold.
But he said, can I say they word?
Ass? Yes.
But dead ass, though, Capo.
Yeah, heat off, for real.
question mark.
You did not have to read Shue instead of
show. You did not have to... I just wanted
I didn't want to put no words
the way he did not say it. I clarified it, but
I just want to, yes, he meant show, but he said
chew, I said he meant show. And Jim Jones has a warehouse
in the Bronx. That's why he said the Bronx. He has a warehouse
where he has a studio, he has a clothing store, barbershop, and
all the stuff that you see online. He's basically
investing. He's investing, he invested in a space for all
artists and creatives. And he... Okay, new
year, fresh start. And
honestly, I'm starting with dinner. This year, I'm being smarter about where my energy goes,
and dinner was taking way too much of it. I just signed up for Hello Fresh, and they take
fresh start to a whole new level. Fresh, high-quality ingredients delivered right to my door,
locally sourced whenever possible. Everything pre-portioned, nothing wasted. Now I'm not dragging
myself through weekend grocery runs, or panic staring at the fridge at 5.30, trying to make
something out of random leftovers. And I'm definitely not tossing out food I never used or falling back
on expensive takeout apps because I ran out of ideas.
Yeah, that happened a lot.
Just simple, stress-free recipes and meals that help me save more.
Waste less.
And for the first time in a long time, I actually look forward to dinner.

Hi, I'm Dr. Priyanko Wali.
And I'm Hurricane DeBolu.
It's a new year.
And on the podcast's Health Stuff, we're resetting the way we talk about our health.
Which means being honest about what we know, what we don't know, and how messy it can all be.
I like to sleep in late and sleep early.
Is there a chronotype for that or am I just depressed?
We talk to experts who share real experiences and insight.
You just really need to find where it is that you can have an impact in your own life and to start.
doing that. We break down the topics you want to know more about. Sleep, stress, mental health,
and how the world around us affects our overall health. We talk about all the ways to keep
your body in mind, inside and out, healthy. We human beings, all we want is connection. We just
want to connect with each other. Health stuff is about learning, laughing, and feeling a little less
alone. Listen on the Iheart radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. You know,
we always say New Year, new me, but real change starts on the inside. It starts with giving
your mind and your spirit the same attention you give your goals. Hey everybody, it's Michelle
Williams, host of Checking in on the Black Effect Podcast Network. And on my podcast, we talk
mental health, healing, growth, and everything you need to step into your next season,

The Happiness Lab, I'm going to look at the science of getting, well, unstuck, unstuck at work,
unstuck in your relationships, and even unstuck inside your mind. I am the absolute worst
culprit when it comes to getting into these ruminative loops and just driving myself crazy.
We'll look at ways to reignite your sense of purpose, rediscover your values, and get more
creative. We'll also explore how to design a life that feels more fulfilling. It's sort of like
the game of life. I don't know if you ever played that game. Oh, my gosh, yes. You take the car
along and you try and get money, and you try and get degrees, and you try and get to the end where either
you have a mansion or a ranch or a shack. And once you get to retirement, you're done. What about the
whole path along the way?
Join me to get unstuck in 2026.

He leaned into it.
He said he loves a publicity and he explained a little bit more about what this warehouse is,
which is where he does the less rapid-bodied podcast.
Let's take a listen to Jim Jones responding.
Right now, I am in the second phase of construction.
We're not open to public.
This is a raw space.
I'll show you what we'll be doing.
I'm building a multi-purpose content creation facility for media, fashion, music, and broadcast.
What I'm trying to say is I've been happy to be able to invest in myself and something that I know is going to help a lot of other people.
I'm not building this facility for myself.
Yes, it is a business home.
That's why I invested in myself.
But I'm building this facility for all creators and young ones that's trying to come up to be a creative.
I have a creative ability that they want to know how to double down.
It's like an excellent school for all the fly people.
You say so yourself.
You know, listen, in life you all grow people.
you know, best friends become scranges,
but that doesn't mean y'all have to beef.
And, you know, I would say how did they come to a resolution about all of this?
But the truth of the matter is, it's all just content at the end of the day.
Jim got shows, Cam got shows.
We're talking about it.
You know, it is what it is.
No pun intended.
Literally.
And that warehouse that he has, it's called the IFC factory.
So, yes, it's all the things that he talked about.
And I would love to see them resolve this, but it's great content for both of them.
But they've been going back and forth for years, though, right?
how many years, then they link up,
they'll do a show, and then right after they'll go right back
at it. I feel like there's still a lot of love there.
Oh, yes. Yeah. Because even when
you see them going back and forth with each other,
it ain't, like, aggressive.
You know what I mean? It ain't harsh.
I think that's a little petty stuff.
Yes. But I will say, I was watching
a clip, one of the podcasts
he was doing in the thermostat in the back
did say 58 degrees.
So, you know, Jim Jones
podcast. But it's a way out,
you know, and that's why I was an old
That's why he always has, you know, he's layered,
hoodies and coats.
So, but it's a warehouse.
And it's the wintertime.
And, you know, it's probably not insulated.
And it's big.
It's a big.
It's a big.
Yeah.
Not seven.
Well, uh,
that is wild that can't posted that but didn't tag nobody or at nobody
and Jim responded, though.
Yeah.
I don't know.
It's almost like an inside thing that we didn't, I get, we didn't know about.
But he was probably cold.
He's probably, you know what?
No, I think, I think, I think, this is for me.
You're right.
I think what it is, is like, I mean, I think a lot of times with the social media stuff
when you have people that might be telling you something that's happening, like,
did you see it that way?
But also, too, there was a lot of back and forth with the 50 cent, like all of that stuff.
There was a lot of back and forth.
It's all content, man, everybody.
Yeah, 50s, if...
These guys don't get along, so anything that they do, get up on somebody they're going to say.
50 posted an alleged audio recording of a landlord saying that someone owed money.
Like, there's been a lot happening, and then this happens.
You're going to thank you.
There's so much to keep up with 50 because all I keep saying is 50.
and the Clarissa and I didn't even see this
So 50 needs a podcast
Everybody else got a podcast
Everybody else is monetizing their content
And monetizing more much like 50 needs a podcast
I think 50 likes to throw his shots
And then he go do those movies
And then he comes back and throw some more stuff
It could be another revenue script
That's all I'm saying
Because in the midst of all of this
He's talking about his new show
I believe it's on A&E
It's about the gang
He'll be doing like researching
Like documenting different gang rivalries
And stuff like that
So in the midst of all of this
He's posting in his business meetings
Like Instagram is 50s platform
But all of these other guys have their own platforms
Like Cam got it is what it is
Jim got let's rap about it
And the art
I think it's artists the artist podcast
So yeah everybody got their platforms
It's all content
It is all content
Well I mean we did have the music that they dropped
But I don't think we have time to play that
But I don't know if you guys heard it
If you didn't please go take a listen to
The freestyle that the less rap about it
podcast guys did come at 50 cents
But this is good for all of them though
Oh 100%
Everybody go running
100%.
And when we come back, I'll have an exclusive update.
So that Mary J. Blige's a lawsuit where her ex-friend, Misa Hilton,
also mother of one of Diddy's children, had accused her of messing with some business,
suing her for $5 million.
It has been dismissed, and I spoke exclusively to Misa Hilton.
So we'll be bringing that in as we come back in the next hour.
All right.
Now, coming up next, we've got front page news.
Mimi is here, so she's not in L.A., so she'll be doing it right here.
So we'll be joining us in a second.

be here together first day dinner all right it's the breakfast club good morning me
morning everybody is dj nv jess hilarious sholomeen the guy we are the breakfast
Club, let's get in some front page news.
Start up with some quick sports.
Trey Young from the Hawks, he's been traded
to the Wizards. Now, I
believe the Wizards is the worst team in the league right now,
so Trey got a long way to go, so
salute to Trey Young, all right? What's up, Mimi?
Good morning, Envy. Jess Chalemaine,
how you're doing this morning? Good morning. Okay, so we start this
hour with a foreign crisis that is now
dominating headlines, both overseas
and here at home. President Trump
says United States will take control
of Venezuela's oil, and
announcing that between 30 and 50 million barrels will be turned over to the U.S.
and sold under American authority, a move he says, that will benefit both Americans and Venezuelans.
Now, have you guys been following this story?
Because this comes days after that dramatic and controversial U.S. operation that stunned the world.
So in the early morning hours of January 3rd, U.S. Special Forces, they carried out a covert raid in Caracas.
Now, they captured the Venezuelan president, Nicholas Maduro, a flight of.
him to the United States to face charges, including drug trafficking and narco terrorism.
Now, Maduro, he appeared in a federal court here in New York, actually, earlier this week.
He pled not guilty and insisted that he is still Venezuela's president.
His next court date is scheduled for March 17th.
Now, speaking this week during a GOP House retreat at the Kennedy Center, President Trump,
he praised the operation as an amazing success, saying no American lives were lost and framed
the win as a major national security win. Let's listen to what he had to say.
It was so complex, 152 airplanes, many, many. Talk about boots in the ground. We had a lot
of boots on the ground. But it was amazing. And think of it, nobody was killed. And on the other
side, a lot of people were killed. Unfortunately, I say that, soldiers. Cubans, mostly Cuban.
It was so brilliant. The electricity for almost the entire country was, boom, turned on. That's when
they knew there was a problem. There was no electricity. But I watched where Schumer, he's such a
bad guy. You know, at some point they should say, you know, you did a great job. Thank you,
congratulations. Wouldn't it be good? I would say that if they did a good job.
All right. Well, what the hell was he just talking about? Yeah. So he was, he was, there was a GOP
retreat this, earlier this week, right, where he got all the GOP leaders of the house together. And he
was bragging basically
about the mission
in Venezuela and saying that
you know Democrats do not give him enough
praise for what he accomplished and they have been
after this guy for a very long time
and nobody's praising him they're actually
criticizing you know what he did
and that goes
that goes into this next topic where
we talk about Maduro the central
question that everyone is asking now who
is running Venezuela right
because if he's here in jail
who's actually running and so Stephen Miller the
White House deputy chief of staff or policy. He was asked that question on CNN, and this is what
he had to say about that. But the president said is true. The United States of America is running
Venezuela. By definition, we are in charge because we have the United States military stationed
outside the country. We set the terms and conditions. We have a complete embargo on all of their
oil and their ability to do commerce. So for them to do commerce, they need our permission. For them
to be able to run an economy, they need our permission.
So the United States is in charge.
United States is running the country during this transition period.
I have so many questions, Mimi.
Yeah.
First and foremost, you know, after they captured it and took the Venezuelan president,
I've seen a lot of people who were saying that Venezuelan was happy about this.
Is that a true thing?
Or were they happy about this?
Are the people in Venezuela happy that the president is taking out?
So I think you're getting both sides, right?
So there are some people who are happy, and there are some people who,
you know, in Venezuela, who are not happy.
It just, it depends because you have to remember that the United States put sanctions on Venezuela, right?
So they weren't able to, he wasn't able to do a lot.
And I'm not sticking up for him because he is by, of all accounts, a dictator and an evil, you know, person, an evil leader, right?
But I think you have to have the entire picture of what happened because someone put it like this.
If someone came to America and said they didn't like Trump and then took him.
in the middle of the night, right?
Because they consider him a dictator, what would happen?
How would we feel, right?
And so it's the same thing.
You'd have people praising it.
You'd have people hating it, right?
So you have to look at it like that.
And then also, they also said something to the fact that the same thing that we took the Honduras president is the same thing that the Venezuelan president did.
But then we pardoned the Honduras president.
Is that true as well?
Because they're saying mostly it's not about drugs, right?
But we know Venezuela wasn't about drugs.
Venezuela was about the oil.
It was about the oil.
So remember a lot, we were talking, you know, last year before the break, how they were seizing the boats and blowing up the bloats and they were drug dealers.
You know, they were saying it was about drugs.
But now, the more this unfolds, it's about oil.
It's all about oil.
That's what I was wondering.
What a conspiracy theorist doing nowadays?
Because you have the president telling us exactly what is going on.
Back in the day, folks would be like, that wasn't about drugs.
It was about oil.
Okay.
Yeah.
He said, yes.
We're controlling.
We're telling you.
It's about the oil.
So what a conspiracy theor is doing?
nowadays it's about no conspiracy no it's not they told us what it's about he told us clearly so
should we be concerned scared afraid of retaliation and that's a great question envy i you know what
i think the way the trump administration is carrying this out who knows what's next right because then
you add in greenland right and what's going on in greenland and how they're they're talking about
oh we need to capture greenland so no one knows every country right now is like greenland is part
of nato i thought i'm saying greenland columbia cuba cuba cuba the
was another one. There was one more.
Oh, I can't think right now. But there was another one. And they were, they were, he was literally
just, it's like a game of monopoly. Colonizers. Colonizers going to colonize. Yeah. And Trump
really thinks the rest of the world is suckers. And maybe they are. But I don't think so. We keep
knocking somebody going to get the bucket. Folks aren't going to sit around and wait for
America to just come get them. Yeah. Exactly. And so, so we'll see. I mean, that is a great
question. There's so much happening right now abroad, but there's also so much happening
at home. So when we talk about Greenland
and we talk about all the things, there's pressure
now playing out in Congress. Yesterday,
the House cleared a procedural vote that
set up for a clean three-year
extension of the Affordable Care Act subsidies
that we all know expired at
the end of 2025.
Nine Republicans, they joined with Democrats
to pass that. But, you know, so
people are saying, okay, we've got a lot going on to
here, but at home, we cannot
afford the cost of living.
Affordability is a crisis and things like
that. So while
Trump and his administration are
gathering land in
or trying to gather land in other places
and oil in other places. A lot of folks here
and even Congress, they are sounding the alarm
about what the government needs to focus
on here. Cuba, Columbia, Greenland,
Canada. It's a Canada.
Yeah, it's in Canada right.
They better leave Canada alone. They said six countries
all together, but I don't see that over to.
What the hell Canada going to do?
They're close enough to send missiles any which way.
They're very close. A lot of those other
is already as closed. Canada's right there.
Ain't going to send serp.
You're going to send serp.
All right. Well, that is
front page news. Thank you.
All right. Thank you.

You're in tomorrow?
I'll be here tomorrow.
Perfect.
All right.
Everybody else, let's open up the phone lines.
800-585-105-105.1.
All right.
The holiday season is over.
Is it?
Have you guys put your Christmas trees away?
Martin Luther King Jr. Day is what next week?
Yes.
So I consider that still the holidays.
But not Christmas tree holidays.
You got to take your Christmas tree down.
I just put mine up.
I'm not taking it down.
That is a damn lie.
I see the video in the summer and your Christmas tree was up in the summer.
Okay.
It's not bothering me.
I ain't bothering it.
So you don't ever take your Christmas tree down?
One of them, I leave up.
But the other two, I take it on it.
You just leave it up in the middle of your house?
No, we redress it.
No, it's not in the middle of my house.
It's in one of my living rooms, the pink room.
And then I take the other.
a two down, and then we just changed the decorations
the ornament stuff.
So, if Easter decorations.
Yes, all that.
What's that?
That's actually kind of smart.
You know what I'm saying?
You can have Martin Luther King, Junior tree.
No, for real.
You can have a Valentine's tree.
That's actually kind of a nice tree.
I've never thought about that, but that's actually a good idea for those people who are
super lazy.
That's lazy.
They don't want to take all the trees down.
You leave one tree up and just make it a tree for all holidays.
Martin Luther King, Valentine's.
You can even celebrate college basketball, March Madness.
What I'm going to put on a Martin Luther King tree?
What I'm going to put up there if I'm on Luther King Day?
All the different stuff with Martin Luther King Jr.'s logo on it.
Oh, okay.
Absolutely.
You can do some hard bottom loafers, like some Black Stacey Adams.
Oh, my goodness.
You know, you throw the sneakers on the light pole.
You can put that on the tree.
There's a lot of different things we can do.
5-8-5-105.1.
The holiday season is over.
Is your tree still up?
Your light still up?
What are you taking them things down?
Let's discuss it.
I ain't take mine down yet.
My lights is still on.
I've seen fast food restaurants still got the Christmas decoration.
is up right now. I thought Chick-fil-A had to
reef up this morning. Maybe that was yesterday.
All right. Well, let's discuss. It's the
Breakfast Club. Good morning.
It's topic time.
Call 800-585-105-105-1 to join
into the discussion with the Breakfast Club.
Morning, everybody. It's DJ NV.
Jess Hilary. Sholomey and the Guy. We are the
Breakfast Club. If you're just joining us, we open up the phone lines
800-585-105-1. We're talking
Christmas trees and decorations.
when do you take it down when do you take yours down just you took them down already i did i've taken
two of my trees down but i always leave one up um lights we haven't we haven't taken down
lights yet but i always leave one tree up all year room
i left i haven't taken anything down as yet we haven't touched i think if i had a real
i think i would have been urged to take it down faster absolutely but my trees are not real
so i don't bother anybody yeah and i like the lights and you feel so excited when you
You ran in here today after they put them up.
You know, as a kid, I used to love the houses with all the lights on it.
Yeah.
And my parents couldn't do it.
So when I got a little money, I put that lights.
And I love seeing a light.
Every day I come home, I love seeing the lights all over my house.
The kids enjoy it.
It makes me happy.
So when are you taking a lights down?
I don't know.
I drove in yesterday.
First of all, he didn't take no goddamn light down.
You got a whole company that put them up and a whole company that's taking them down.
Cut it the hell out.
Well, she didn't mean me personally.
You didn't mean me personally.
I absolutely did.
Oh, I'm not taking them.
You think I'm climbing up there and taking them lights down?
No, so you only had an immigrant do it?
What about you, Sheldman?
He's a white gentleman, by the way.
Let it glow Christmas lights, yes.
He's the way he's a white gentleman.
Salute to him.
What about you, Shalerman?
When my wife tell me to come help her?
You're not taking a goddamn lifestyle either.
No, I'm not taking the light down.
We got somebody to do that.
But I'm talking about, like, as far as taking down the trees and the decorations
and whatever she's saying, my wife telling me to come help her, I'm going to help him.
Nice.
I'm the one I bring,
because we got a fake tree.
I used to do the real tree too,
but we don't do the real tree no more.
I just take the fake tree back down to the basement.
That's all.
Whenever she asked me to.
I got a guy that can do that for you.
He wraps all the stuff up.
Put it down.
Tell one, relax.
We need one.
That's his name.
I know.
Tell one to relax.
That's crazy.
You know what's funny?
I've seen a construction company
yesterday called Latinos construction.
I was like, they're brave.
They have on the side of the truck.
It said Latinos construction.
I was like, I know they get busy.
They get business from ICE.
I know they do.
Hello, who's this?
No, this is Charlie Brown down in Tampa.
Charlie Brown and Tampa.
What's up, brother?
Good morning.
Hey, good morning, breakfast, Bob.
So first, I got two things, actually, right?
First, I keep my Christmas tree up because I'm divorced and remarried.
So my older two kids come and visit.
So I keep the Christmas tree up until I fly to California.
Okay.
What?
So what Charlemagne said a minute ago,
about Canada. I'm prior military. I'm a United States Marine Corps veteran myself.
In the military community, Canada is known as it's not a war crime the first time.
What's that mean? They do some ish. And then the governing body of the Geneva Convention
be like, nah, you can't do that. That's too far. So we need to worry about Canada.
Really?
I think they got great, like, image control because people never think about, oh, they're so
friendly and Canada is scary. Canada's scary. But Canada don't have no nuclear weapons or nothing.
Do that? I know weapons are mad to say?
No, they just get real creative.
They just get really, really creative.
Oh, they'll start spiking the cert.
They'll, like, create napalm like hand grenades.
I think Canada's too close, man.
They got fighter jets, missiles.
I mean, we're too close to Canada.
Yeah, we got all of that to take care of all that, though.
Like, all of the airspace defense stuff, we got that no problem.
It's when they start thinking outside the watch that we got worried about them.
I take your word for it.
I take your word for it, but I ain't afraid of no missiles with over your hours on.
Oh, shut up.
They got an opioid owls on them.
Hello, who's this?
Hey, this is Mahogany.
Hey, Mahogany.
Talk to us.
When are you taking your Christmas decorations down?
So I already took the Christmas tree decorations down,
but this is the first year that I'm keeping the tree up all year round.
It is already decorated for Valentine's Day,
but I'm also going to celebrate Valentine's Day and Black History Months.
So we're going to make, my daughter and I are going to make Black History Month ornament
with Black History Fair.
back all around the tree.
That's dope.
I love that.
But why are you skipping Martin Luther King, Jr. Day?
Hello?
I said what now?
Why are you skipping Martin Luther King Jr. Day?
Oh, I would never skip.
I would never skip.
It's just, I just thought of the idea, so I just ran out of time.
But I really could.
I'm going to do it for you.
I'm going to put one up there for you.
Can we got another, like, Martin Luther King Jr.
It's like in a week or two, I think.
Do it for him.
Do it for Martin Luther King.
You right.
Nice.
Okay.
I like the idea of having a tree round year round for different holidays.
I'm not going front.
Maybe not as big as.
a Christmas tree, but just like a nice
little small, little tree in the corner and you decorate
for different holidays, that's actually kind of dope.
But the whole problem is people don't want to tick that tree down
and put it back up, so they just want to leave it up.
That gives you a reason to leave it up.
Yeah, but changing out the decorations
is cool, too. That's not as much
worse. That's not as much work
as putting one up. That's right. It's down
and all that. Hello, who's this?
Brittany. Hey, Brittany, good morning. Where are you calling from?
757.
Virginia. 757 VA. What's up?
So we're talking about when you're taking your Christmas
tree and your decorations down mama well i didn't put up a tree this year i did christmas in my mom
house and i actually was yesterday and she took now all her decorations but her tree of soaped up
i wanted to say something about shelving when he says something about um lk um decorations
yeah it's plenty of the things you can do with that a holiday you can put up about uh all his
quotes that he said i have a dream speech you can put different pitching this stuff up there for help
you can literally put so much stuff on there to educate these kids and it was still
I agree.
I understand.
I got you.
Yeah, that's not a bad idea.
Yeah.
That's not a bad idea.
Now, if you're just joining us, we're asking, when are you taking your Christmas decorations down?
Have you taken them down already?
It's the eighth day of the new year.
Jess is leaving hers up.
She has a treat that she leaves up all year long.
Mm-hmm.
All year long.
She celebrates every holiday, whether it's a Mexican holiday, it's Black History Month.
Yes. Valentine's Day.
Yes.
And in June, I go crazy with the pride decorations.
Pride?
Yeah, because my sister's gay.
Okay.
Yeah, and you had a stud moment.
Wow.
You know, I'm not living there.
No, I never was a stud.
You had a stud moment.
You can get one color from the rainbow.
Not all of them.
You get a letter.
So you were a stud.
No, I wasn't.
I was the femme.
And I was dealing with a stud that looked just like Louis Wayne back in the day.
But then.
So you had a moment.
Yes, but I wasn't.
The stud, you get one color, one letter.
You can wrap.
You go on that expired.
I'm done.
A letter for the stud, right?
You just say, L.
Yeah, L's lesbian.
Lesbian, yeah.
All right.
I'm showing another one, but the plus, whatever the plus is.
Yeah, because you got masculine presenting, like, all it.
But they don't like stud and they don't like that.
You have to, oh, my God.
You can say that.
You can say it.
Okay.
Oh, my God.
Let's get out of here.
Let's get out of here.
Hello, who's this?
This is from North Carolina.
What's up, Chris?
Good morning.
Good morning.
Morning, morning.
What's up?
We're asking when you're taking your,
Christmas decorations down, or did you take them down already?
They down already, man.
In my house, they got to come down January 2nd, man, the day after the new year.
They go up, the day after Thanksgiving, the day after Thanksgiving, Black Friday.
Oh, got you.
Yeah, and I got to get on my wife, because she had them up kind of early this year,
knowing we got three kids, they already see the tree, and I ain't even had no turkey yet,
Cush.
Damn, damn.
Yeah, I get my, I put my tree up before Thanksgiving and put my lights up before Thanksgiving.
It started earlier for me this year.
Well, you got a little bit of money, Envy, so it's different for you.
Goodbye, sir.
Put up a tree.
You ain't got nothing to do with that.
Hello, who's this?
Good morning.
Happy New Year to all.
Happy morning.
What's your name?
My name is Jackie.
Hey, Jackie.
What are you calling from?
Florida.
Okay, Florida.
What part?
I'm calling right now from Hollywood.
I'm at work.
You're so secretive.
You're all right?
You're on the run?
No, no, no.
That's how I speak.
Okay, all right.
So we're asking Christmas decorations.
Did you take them down yet?
Do you have any plans
Are you taking them down?
Talk to us.
No.
Well, I'm going to keep my Christmas tree up
because as I read more
and I learn more,
people, you're not,
number one,
you're not supposed to cut down
your fur trees
and put lights on it.
If you read the Bible,
which men wrote.
So I'm keeping my tree up.
I have a fake tree.
It's beautiful.
I did it red and white.
I'm keeping it up
for Valentine's
and I'm going to change it
and I'm going to do Easter
and then I'm going to do spring.
I'm going to do spring
and Easter together.
and then I'm going to take it down.
And if I feel like keeping it up,
I'm going to keep it up again.
So, ma'am, what scripture in the Bible says keep the tree up?
Okay, what scripture in the Bible says to go and cut fur three down and put life?
But what if I got a fake tree to begin with?
Number one, hey, you can put up a fake tree because you're not going to cut down a fir tree.
I'm going to send you, I'm going to send you the scripture because, number one,
Christ was not born in December, and that's a fake tree.
and holidays.
I agree with that.
I grew up Jehovah Witness.
Okay, very good.
I want even that.
You have to be careful of
because that's another Bible
and another man wrote.
And I have a quick question to ask you.
Does Jehovah Witness buildings have any window?
Jehovah's Witnesses?
I haven't been in the Kingdom Hall in so long,
but I don't remember that.
I don't think they do.
Not the one I used to go to in Monks County.
Okay, none of them have windows.
Sometimes I wonder if they have a back door
I've brought this to a lot of
Jehovah witnesses and they cannot
I'm not messing with you
What is she?
I don't understand
Jackie, I'm messing nobody's back door Jackie
I got you
Why they don't have what's the not having windows got to do with
One way in one way out
Ah, thank you
Thank you, Jess
You guys, I don't want to hold you up
Because I'm at work, I have a patience
So you all have a wonderful day
I'm keeping my tree up
I love the life.
Okay.
I love, I'm from the Caribbean.
I love the life.
The more I grow, the more I learn.
So I'm learning as I grow.
Okay.
And I love life.
I love our Caribbean music.
I love Karang, which is both Spanish, Mexican, and also English.
And I love our food.
Okay.
Okay.
Thank you, Ms. Jackie.
Happy New Year, Ms. Jackie.
One more thing.
Happy New Year to you guys.
And one of the countries was Mexico.
with Mr.
Oh, Mexico.
Yeah,
it was Mexico.
Damn.
Yes, you're right.
Thank you, Miss Jackie.
I have a wonderful day.
Love you all.
Love you more.
I still don't understand
the hell of the windows
got to do anything.
Y'all ain't got no back door.
Movie theater,
ain't got no windows?
You sit in the movies
theater with no windows?
She ain't ever like in the point,
but she was just saying
like it's one way and one way out with y'all.
And then the Caribbean's got that voice
and that accent so everything they say
sounds serious.
Yes.
And no windows.
She'll say something to you like,
Watch your eyebrows now
What the hell
What's the wrong
You don't have a back door
What's the ball of the story
The moral of the story
It's not being lazy
To take your Christmas tree down this weekend
Okay
But I do like the idea
Of people creeping up
One little Christmas tree up
For holidays every month
I do like that
It's amazing
Now I'm taking my dad
I ain't doing that
All right
Well
When we come back
We got the latest with Lawrence

Everything that's happening
That we missed

I'm sort of business deal in regards to music artist Vado.
The business deal seems like it went bad.
and Misa Hilton was claiming that there were damages
up to $5 million that she should be paid
for Marri Giblige because of it.
Now that lawsuit was dismissed.
Now, the judge, you know, basically,
because Mary Jablige had asked for it to be dismissed
and the judge basically said that Misa Hilton's side
didn't meet a deadline to prove a lot of the things
that they were alleging happened in the lawsuit that they filed.
And a judge, even though the judge didn't issue any sanctions,
the judge was not too happy with the way that this went down.
So the judge called Misa.
abandonment of, you know, the lawsuit, bad faith litigation tactics and said the court in no way
condones parties filing a lawsuit claiming millions and damages based on inflammatory accusations
only to have those very same parties abandon their allegations went faced with a motion to
dismiss in sanctions. Now, I did receive a statement exclusively from Misa Hilton on this.
She says, over the years, there have been people very close to me who have hurt me deeply and
I chose not to pursue them even when I could have and maybe should have. That reflection led
to me asking myself
why I chose a different path for someone
I once called my sister. Through this
experience, I learned that mix and family, friendship, and
business is not always wise and that even in
painful moments there are meaningful lessons to be learned.
While I don't agree with everything that was done,
I chose peace. This entire ordeal has taken
a significant toll on my mental health and has caused
me to reflect deeply on life, memories, relationships
and their true purpose and meaning. I pray
for healing for all of us.
So the lawsuit's over. Yeah, the lawsuit has been
dismissed, but I mean, she can
she can go back and refile
if she wants to
but the judge did give a warning and say
if you're going to do this
when you move forward
you got to make sure that y'all do
everything y'all are supposed to do
because it's not it's in bad faith
now has she talked
have you talked to her
has she talked to Margie Blige or it's been nothing
that I know of they have not spoken in some time
has bottle released a statement
I have not received a statement from bottle
has Votto released music
don't know that answer I didn't check
envy the Votto released music
not that I have
not that you've received
I don't have anything in my laptop.
Well, I'm sure it was all these legal issues that was keeping Votto from putting
out of music.
So not if the legal issues are resolved.
In a minute for Vito.
It's not fired.
But Mary J. Blige did post on her Insta story, and it wasn't anything direct, but, you know,
just because of the timing, I saw people picking it up.
She posted the emoji with the sunglasses on, and the song that she added on the
Insta story was DJ Callag God did.
But, yeah, so we move on.
Now, in other news, so Chris Redd, formerly of Saturday Night Live, SNL, made a
he got very vulnerable via his
Instagram and he talks about going through
a bad like addiction, pill addiction that he had
and selling allegedly selling pills
to some of his SNL castmates.
Let's take a listen to Chris being vulnerable.
You know, I'm not really one for resolutions
and nothing like that, but I do have one
that I'm going to be leading with a lot more vulnerability
and openness in my work and my life.
I know a lot of people talk about me dating
Kenyon Thompson's ex-wife and how that came to be.
Bottom line is, while I was at the show, I had some pill issues, you know, I had some pill problems.
I was even selling some to the people, uh, some of my cashmates.
I'm not going to snitch on y'all, man.
I would be around on this shit.
People would talk about it and buy and talk about me, and I would hear them because, you know,
some of that Adderall's got you super hearing this shit.
But wouldn't, like, help me, you know, I don't have panic attacks.
Wouldn't, like, be concerned about me and nothing.
Just would talk shit.
And it was crazy that somebody will watch you destroy yourself.
This lady was the only.
one to call me on my
help me with my shit. She helped me with
my therapy journey, you know, and she told me
things about her life that made me look at
a lot of people involved in it differently.
I can tell you, one thing right now
those people with S&L be high as cats.
They be high as hell. I remember people's
up here saying something like that, man. He was young.
He was struggling with the addictions, things
like that and people, like
nobody like talked to him there like that, like about
that. Oh, like his time there, you know what I'm saying?
Yeah, they'd be eyes all up on SNL.
I always wonder when you have somebody like
that amiss to selling drugs to people
and seeing their lives break down
do they ever feel
guilty for doing that, right? Do they ever say
you know, I wish I didn't do that? When people sell
like pills or drugs to their
community and they see how it affects them,
I wonder how that makes them feel after.
Like, do they feel any regret?
I mean, I have some of these drug deals.
Have these rappers that claim to sell
all these bricks and all this other stuff.
Yeah. I'm just curious. If they ever have a
regret or they don't even think about it anymore.
Well, it depends on at the level that you sell in pills
because I remember I was selling perks
because when I broke my ankle
and I was taking them
I was like, you know what?
No, I ain't trying to feel like this
but I know some that would love
to take them and so, you know,
I was making my little friends.
Not you just post some buses
on your Instagram.
Okay.
I doubt they feel guilty.
Just like the tobacco industry
don't feel guilty.
Just like the fast food industry
don't feel guilty.
Well, Chris, the point of him
posting this video was he was trying to
because he went through his own
struggles with addiction,
he was just trying to, you know,
let some things go in the year.
And he starts,
He actually starts breaking down into tears, not even just about this whole, like, you know, the addiction conversation, the pills.
But he breaks his silence for the first time about dating Kenan Thompson's ex-wife after they were already broken up.
Yeah.
In that time, we fell in love.
And I felt bad from the start.
I really love everything me and Kenan did, bro.
And I hate doing something to somebody that I know would hurt them.
No matter who they are, no matter what they've done, you know, that's just not how I'm built.
I must not built like that.
I'm a full player for this.
But I did choose love.
You know, it made me look terrible
to people that I love, you know, a lot of my fans.
So I didn't know how to do this without doing this.
I'm in therapy.
So, like, ever since I figured out that I'm like,
I'm more sad than angry, all my angry issues,
I've turned into tears.
Like, it's crazy, bro.
I don't feel like a pimp.
I'm feel cool about this at all
besides the fact that I found someone that makes me feel like
I didn't even know what love was for real.
And me and him talked about it.
And I'm not going to say,
and we were cool,
and we continue to work for a year after we talked about it,
and as soon as everybody found out,
change.
This is the type of thing that you can have a conversation
when this is switching on a dime.
I love the vulnerability.
I do.
Yeah, and he says that he'll talk about it a bit
and, you know, some of his comedy
that he'll be doing this year,
but it won't be all about this,
but yeah, he got pretty deep.
Is he still with her?
That I know of, yes.
I saw pictures of them as recent as, like, 2024,
and I tried to look into that to see how, like,
where they are right now.
But the way, in this video,
it's like six minutes. The way he talks about her,
I do believe they're still together. And from what I'm seeing
online, according to reports,
they are still together. Did that relationship cost him
his SNL gig? I don't know. I'm asking.
I don't believe that it did because, I mean,
let me look up what the statement was
when he left SNL, but I know that
for some time, they were
trying to be, like, friendly about it, but it was so weird
because when I remember when the news
broke about this, we were all trying to figure
out what their working relationship was like,
because they were still on the show together.
And he says for the first time, like,
it got weird once people knew
because inside they knew
but I don't know if that
would cost in the gig
but I can find out for you
ask another question
go ahead
what race is she
I would like to know
well her name is Christina
Evangeline
and I'll show you how she looks
I don't know her
little miscellaneous
yeah
miscellaneous in the face
I mean she's given white girl
but she could also be a little like
maybe a little Italian
maybe
I thought maybe like
White is Italian
I don't know if you know that
I mean yeah but you know
they'd be trying to claim a little
we need Dr.
him out of diagnose this.
Y'all see what I mean?
Like, then she got the streaks in her hair.
So I'm like, if she's like a little,
a little Mexican, maybe.
Oh, she's like, okay.
Don't just say, don't just diagnose her as Caucasian.
You don't know?
She looks Caucasian.
She just looks non-black.
Yeah, she looks non-black.
You know, but it's as they left to pursue other opportunities.
Yeah.
I don't know.
Every time people leave SNL, it's very, uh, miscellaneous.
Like, they just say, hey, we're leaving.
I'm going on.
Thank you, S&L.
Yeah, I think you got to keep a cute.
like that but oh yeah i did reach out to esthernal to see if they had anything to say about this
they didn't say anything because they high that's it for the hour all right that's the latest

On the breakfast club
At being said, I want to start off
With this donkey right here
Donkey, right here
Drop on a clues ball for Taylor
Taylor, you don't working on my movies, huh?
Wow, let's go.
Donkey of the day for Thursday, January, a first day back of 2006.
First donkey of 2006.
I want this to be a teachable moment because we are in 20206 a new year, but it's still the year of the snake.
Okay, the lunar new year begins on February 16th.
February 16th is when it becomes the year of the horse.
So we are still in the year of the snake.
Okay, the year of the snake is all about shedding and letting go.
So we have until February 16th to do that.
Not to mention last year, 2025, was a nine year that represents completion, transformation, spiritual awakening, and letting go of the old to prepare for new beginnings.
So the theme, the energy is all about shedding, letting go, ending things, and starting new beginnings, okay?
Slude to everyone who has gotten a memo, because sadly, there is a brother amongst us who is not, and his name is Dame Dash.
Okay, last night Dame Dash appeared on the point of view show on Afro TV, and they were discussing,
The Breakfast Club coming to Netflix, and me resigning with IHeart, and he had this to say, let's listen.
So I was doing what you consider the podcast now with, it's called, it was Culture Voters, Hip Hop Motivation with Kenyna.
And I actually offered I heart radio the same deal that Netflix offered two years ago.
And I can show it to you.
I know the CEO, that's why I also knew that they might be going bankrupt.
And I'm going to show you what I sent them.
But what you do notice, because you saw Charlemagne all of a sudden got that deal.
Can you name someone that I have problems with that's not like,
corporately backed. It seems like as soon as someone's beefing with me, think about a 50.
As soon as Fredo, Cameron got with the corporate, he starts beefing before it was Jay.
And I just think it's a humiliation ritual that if you're going to get empowered by them,
you've got to go at me. What's misleading about the Charlemagne situation is called black,
what's it called? Black effect, but it's owned by white people have.
So what usually happens? You use someone black to go get all the talent from all the black people
allegedly. It's powered
by somebody white. They get all the
data and that's the reason why
he's the face for them
to go get all of our culture.
That man is delusional.
Okay, the Lulu Poppington. Let me
tell you something. When I hear brothers like that talk,
my first thought is segregation was
a great concept that was poorly executed.
It should have been based on behavior, not
race, because I don't want to be around none of
those types of Negroes. Okay, keep all
those unheeled heathens away
for me the extremely sad part of what dame just said is that he believes it okay he believes it because
he's a textbook narcissist and narcissists consistently make everything about themselves because
they have an inflated sense of self-importance and a constant need for attention and validation dame
listen you really think people are sitting around in corporate boardrooms plotting on ways to stop you
nobody has to do that because dame dash's biggest obstacle will always be dame dash okay nobody gets in dame dash's way more than dame dame i'm gonna promise you something right here right now i'm not talking about you no more okay ever all right because i don't want to feed your ego and when i talk about shedding that's something i want us all to do in 2006 don't feed people's wounded egos okay stop giving
excess validation and attention to people with an inflated sense of self-importance.
Their ego thrives on it.
Okay, that's what those manipulative, arrogant, and insecure behaviors like Dame Dash has come from.
Okay, I don't want that Dash, aka boss baby, throwing any tantrums because of me.
Okay, so that is something I will be shedding, all right, while we are still in the year of the snake.
I also don't understand brothers like Dame because Dame, you got all of money with corporate America
back in your day. Okay, when it was your
turn, you got checks from Def Jam, you had
Rockaway, you had Armadale
Vodka, you had ProKeds,
you had the Rock Box, you had all kind of
stuff. How come when you was getting your money
from corporate America, it was all good? But every
black man after you has to be getting it
through some type of nefarious means
and getting it because they come at you.
So, so
should we assume
based off your logic, the only
reason you was getting paid back in the day
was because you was doing some BS. I just
don't understand the logic, okay?
And when you had Rockefeller
and you was partnered with artists,
okay, just like I'm partnered with podcasts
on Black Effect,
and you was partnered with Def Jam
and Universal,
weren't you partnered with white folks?
Was you selling our culture then?
The logic doesn't even add up,
but I guess it's cool when you do it,
but it's a problem when other black men do it.
But I will say this, that dash,
if you believe that people are rewarded
because they go back and forth with you
or have issues with you,
then you need to get with some other brothers
who have ties with corporate
and stage some beefs, okay?
So they can get paid and then give you a kickback.
In fact, for everyone who believes this nonsense,
because there is some people out here that will believe this,
they'll believe this foolishness that Dame Dash is spewing.
Well, let's test it theory.
Okay, go to Dame Dash's Instagram.
All right, let's have a little petty party.
See, this is what I'm talking about.
This is what I'm talking about.
Stop, stop.
This is a teachable moment.
Okay, this is not recklessness.
Okay.
Go to Dame Dash's Instagram at Dusco Popington.
Go to Dame's Twitter.
go to dames's youtube the america new network and start a beef with him okay leave a comment say
f you debt dash and let's see if you get a check all right based off dame's logic just start a beef with
him and then you'll get paid let's try to theory out let's get a lot of people paid today see
who he goes back and forth with and see if they get a check based off debt dash's logic
it should be a lot of folks getting rich today okay let's try the logic out go to dusko poppeton
on instagram let's have a little petty party and start a beef with him all right if that's all right
If that's all it takes to be successful, try it.
Okay?
Dame, you might want to try arguing with yourself.
All right, look in the mirror, look in the mirror and start beefing with yourself,
even though, sadly, that's what's already happening, okay?
All your issues are internal because folks like me haven't done anything to you, all right?
But if your theory is true, start a fake beef with yourself, or as I said, have somebody
in corporate start a fake beef with you so they can get a check and then y'all can split it.
Because when I was watching that point of view conversation, Dame,
that stain on your suit.
I saw that stain on
your suit. All right. Now, maybe that
stain on your suit was intentional
to match the stains on those filthy
ass forces you'd be wearing. But all I'm
saying is, you might need a check.
But more importantly, Dame, I just want
you to be happy. I'm serious. All jokes aside,
I wish nothing but the best for you.
I want you to heal what is hurting you.
I want you to let go of all the
hurt that you experienced at the hands
of the industry. I'll pay for your therapy,
Dame. I'm dead-ass serious. I have a
great therapist. I can refer to you. I, I am dead ass. I will pay for your therapy because I am tired of you bleeding on people who didn't cut you. I am sending debt dash healing energy. I truly am. It's the year of the snake. The snake symbolizes transformation, renewal, and letting go of negativity. It's time, Dame. Let it go. Please give to Lulu Poppington, aka Debt Dash, aka Boss Baby, the biggest he-ha.
Boss, baby
I'm not talking about him no more
It's over
Now, I heard a rumor
I don't care what he says
I don't care what he says
I'm not talking about him no more
I heard a rumor
The key had been swallowed
I'm gonna ducky it out and flush it
They said that his film companies
auctioned off for $100
I don't care about nothing
And they said that you were part of buying
that for $100 is that true
I don't have $100 oh my God
I don't have nothing to do with none
No I'm leave it alone
I'm over it I want that dash to
get healing. The only conversations I'm
entertaining from that dash is him telling me he want to go to therapy
and I'll pay for it. So that $100 that was
auctioned off for his company, you had nothing to do with that?
I don't know what you're talking about. That's crazy.
That's hella petty. That's hell of
$100. $100.
From the family office.
And you notice, you know that Charlemagne's change bag in here
no more, right? And now
what you're talking about? I'll change back.
We get changed back. Where that Crown Royal
changed per bag? I want to make sure. I want to make sure you got that
$100 to live. Anyway. Anyway, everybody
else.
Crown Royal bag right there, full of change.
You need something?
No.
That's crazy.
My man called you a Negro slayer.
That's crazy.
All right.
Well, everybody else, Jess, fix my mess.
800-585-105-1.

issues with your boyfriend, issues with your girlfriend.
She's here to fix your mess.

Call Jess right now.
It's the Breakfast Club.
Good morning.
The Breakfast Club.
Tell us, tell you up, man, it's the real deal.
Help me.
Help me.
Oh, my God.
I'm all up in your mess.
I'm going to fix it.
Fix it.
Fix it.
Just going to fix your mess because my advice is real.
Morning, everybody.
It's DJ Envy.
Jess hilarious.
Shalermaine the guy.
We are the breakfast club.
It's time for Jess fix my mess.
Hello, who's this?
Hey, this is Jess.
Good morning, Jess.
Hey, Jess.
Hey, Jess.
Hey, Jess.
Hey, Jess.
Hey, girl.
What's up?
What's wrong?
Hey.
So I'm Jessica.
I live in Miami.
So my thing is, back in the day, me and my adult sisters, we used to always spend holidays together, right?
Or recently, my mom's husband has said basically he doesn't want her adult children near home.
So we kind of do our own thing for holidays.
My thing is, how are we supposed to reconcile?
How should we come about this?
I have a son.
I'm pregnant.
I have a big on the way.
Congratulations.
I do want to spend time with my family.
However, I don't want to go where I'm not invited.
Okay, so why, what's the problem?
What's the issue?
Why does your mother's husband not want you here?
He's jealous of her, yeah, he's jealous of her relationship with her children.
We're very close.
He doesn't have close-knit relationship with his family.
He kind of wants my mom all to himself.
Did you have this conversation with your mom?
Yeah.
What is she saying?
because I don't want it a harder feeling
I don't want to, no, no, no.
You don't want to hurt her feelings, but you and your sister's feelings
are hurt. That's horrible. If you're close to
your mother, you want your sister are close first and foremost,
but if you're close to your mother and y'all are a tight-knit family
and someone outside of that,
I know he's your mother's husband, but if he don't want y'all around,
he's not even claiming y'all is what that mean.
You know, he's not claiming y'all as his children,
you know, stepchildren, bonus children, whatever,
you want to call it, but it's, it's,
Yeah, you guys are feeling some type of way as well.
That's your mother.
Y'all have to talk to her about that first and foremost.
Do y'all notice any other patterns, like him trying to control her, him, you know?
Oh, 100%.
Because that's narcissistic behavior in here when you try to, like, isolate someone from their friends, family, closest people.
Y'all see any other pattern?
Yes, and my mom?
Yeah, we do, we do.
We see, like, how he's very, um, he's very involved.
hiding to his friends, but not to my mom's friends.
Like, if they have a get-together and all his friends come over,
hey, hey, hey, hey.
But the second my mom's family comes over,
our friend is very dry.
So we see that, yeah.
Is your mom happy?
Does your mom look happy?
Not does she tell you she happy?
You know your mother.
Does she look happy?
Absolutely not.
Okay, because that's...
Financially, absolutely.
Everything else, no.
Okay.
All right, so he got money.
Yes, ma'am.
Okay, all right.
So, yeah, he's, I mean, because to me, it just sounds like the introduction to some type of abuse.
I'm not going to say physical.
It could be just, just abuse.
No, yeah, no, no, no.
Yeah, you know what I'm saying?
Just, you know, she does not appear to be happy.
Yeah, financially.
But is that worth her happiness and then tearing a family apart, essentially?
You know, you got to sit down and talk to him other.
And you have to somehow isolate her from him to have this conversation just with her.
You know what I'm saying?
Okay.
Okay.
Absolutely.
Bring it to the surface.
Look, you can find money anyway.
It's so awkward, yeah.
You want to know what my evenings actually look like?

Are you desperately hoping for change in 2026,
but feeling stuck?
Just spinning your wheels and old routines and bad habits.
I'm Dr. Lari Santos,
and in a new year series of my show, The Happiness Lab,
I'm going to look at the science of getting, well, unstuck.
unstuck at work, unstuck in your relationships, and even unstuck inside your mind.
I am the absolute worst culprit when it comes to getting into these ruminative loops
and just driving myself crazy.
We'll look at ways to reignite your sense of purpose, rediscover your values, and get more
creative.
We'll also explore how to design a life that feels more fulfilling.
It's sort of like the game of life.
I don't know if you ever played that game.
Oh my gosh, yes.
You take the car along and you try and get money, and you try and get degrees, and you
try and get to the end where either you have a mansion or.
or a ranch or a shack.
And once you get to retirement, you're done.
What about the whole path along the way?
So join me to get unstuck in 2026.

You know, I'm sorry, though.
I know you definitely, you know, with the baby you're carrying and your child is poverty.
I know you want to go to your mom's house.
I know you want to call your mom.
You want to spend time with her along with your sister.
Like, yeah, work on that.
Like, get some other, alone, you know, and y'all have a whole intervention with her.
Yeah, before it's too late, you know what I'm saying?
What the f***?
Okay.
Yeah, just try it.
Then call me back and let me know.
Call me back, friend.
All right, girl.
We love y'all.
Bye, go to class.
Love you back.
Hello, who's this?
Hi, this Shanty.
Hey, Shanty.
What's your question for Jess?
So, me and my boyfriend had been together for three years.
In the beginning, like the first year and a half, I was still kind of getting over my previous baby daddy.
So I guess it was some unloyalty going on as far as me talking to my previous baby daddy about my new relationship.
Okay.
And then my previous baby daddy, he got mad because he still wanted to be with me.
And he ended up writing him on social media and just blasting everything that me and him were talking about.
Okay.
So, of course, I made my new baby daddy mad.
And now he's like looking at me like an op.
So we tried to move forward.
We went on a little break and he ended up having sick with somebody else
during our quote-unquote break.
But during that break, he was still talking to me.
It's my birthday.
We're going out of town.
We're doing stuff, you know.
So it's not really a break in my eyes.
But to him, it is.
Well, we kind of fell back.
Do you blame him, though?
You know what I'm saying?
Because you was talking to your first baby daddy about the second one,
which, you know, it doesn't always mean that you're not over the first one,
but why in the world would you be doing that?
Why are you talking with your ex?
He's still an ex, baby daddy or no, baby daddy?
You know, he's still an ex.
Why are you discussing anything with your first boyfriend about your current boyfriend?
You can't do that.
Yeah, I know.
So that's what I'm saying.
So back then, back then I went to, like, therapy counseling.
How long ago did that happen, though?
You said back then.
How long?
we don't have two kids since then
so my daughter she's five months
and then we got a son that's two
okay so three years
it was like yeah so it was like
in the beginning of our relationship when we started
and kind of get to know each other we still was like
okay okay so
it was basically what really happened was like kind of a
domestic violence relationship we got to
an argument he put his hands on me and I called my baby
daddy type situation so it was really
so hold up your second baby daddy
Your current boyfriend, who you're trying to make things work with
In the beginning, before you had kids, put hands on you,
and you still had kids with him.
I kind of forgave him and just kept moving forward
because I wanted to be with him at the time.
I guess, yeah, I don't even have really no information,
but now I'm in the clear mindset, 32, trying to move on,
trying to have a family, you know, just work it out for my two kids.
Okay, has he put his hands on you again, be honest?
No, no.
Okay.
Okay.
So we moved forward from that situation.
And like I said, I gave him a second chance.
We had our two kids.
And it's like now after all that stuff, he's still, like, telling me that he, like, I put it like he basically treated me like an op.
Like, yeah.
He's not trying to give me a soft girl era.
He told me in an audio message that he could never just say okay to me.
Like, okay, babe.
Like, when we have a conversation, he's always a battle back to the fourth with him.
And it's like, do I even want to continue going?
on because I want to be me like a software era and just not have to have this wall up all the time and just be hard in in a relationship you know what I'm saying yeah it sounds very toxic but it sounded toxic in the beginning and you continued the journey um of toxicity with this guy you know what I'm saying so I what I think um is you just have to be very careful who you produce with you have to be careful I'm coming out with a book that
actually addresses that it's called so deaf-dewy parent yes indeed and you need to
pre-order it because girl you got some problems and you got a problem on your hand
that that you can't solve being in that relationship you it sound like you
pretty much got a exit now because you didn't do it when you saw the first flag you
know what I'm saying so you you just asked me should you go on do I continue it
don't sound like this is something that's healthy for you know I'm saying
I feel that yeah I feel that and then like when coming from
From his point of view, like, he see the issues too, and he's working on him stuff as well.
Like, he pushed for us to go to church more and just get, like, with God first, so we can fix the things in our relationship.
Because he's saying he can't give me the things that I'm asking for, but God can't.
And I feel that.
But it's like, what are you asking for?
What are you asking for real quick?
I got a couple more seconds.
What are you asking for?
I want for us to just have, like, a normal life, like a home, a family, and just be good.
Like, we both working until getting into our careers.
I'm about to graduate nursing school
so I can continue on
taking care of myself and my family
and I just want a partner
beside me to help
because it's hard out here
even though I know I can't build by myself
but I do want love
I understand
you want love but don't be desperate for it
you know what I'm saying
sometimes your desperation can land you
in places that you can't get out of
you know what I'm saying
or that you regret
you know later on
if he told you
that he can't give you
the basic essentials of
a relationship like you know what you just told me if he can't give you that you you don't
belong there you can't be there giving y'all got two kids y'all can co-parent amicably separate y'all
can do that separate y'all just got to work on yourself y'all got to figure that out but yeah
pre-order that book call uh call back to let me know give me an update but yeah i get through
but i get on the chat though shalomann i love you so much i can't mind all day i love you more what i see you
from?
Columbia.
The Metro.
That man then hit you
raw and got you going crazy.
Crazy.
Wow.
Crazy. And then told you go to God
for what you need.
Then told you go to God for what you
need. Baby girl. You better
go to God. For real.
I love y'all. Bye. I love you too, babe.
Did Rome ever try to find God when he was
trying to get you back? No.
He did not. He was not trying to get me
back. Deal with somebody else, get somebody else,
get somebody else. What if God told him to do that?
It's not like the Holy Trinity.
God don't tell you.
Yeah, three.
So, God ain't time, man.
No.
Just fix myself.
Just his book, Tell Death Do We Parent,
will be on sale April 28th of this year.
Okay, so go pre-order it right now.
That's right.
When we come back, we got the latest with Lauren,
so don't go anywhere.
It's the breakfast club good morning.
Let's talk, L.L. Cubey.
Yeah, I'm not dumbing myself down.
I'm being myself.
I'm not dumbing myself now.
I'm the home guy that knows a little bit about everything
and everything.
Little brown girls look at you
and go, I want to be like you.
Take me through that, take me through that.
Where she's going?
It's our latest.
Get on the breakfast club.
L.L. Cube.
Talk to me.
L.L. Culebay.
Lauren Larosa.
Uh-uh.
Because you was just shady under them,
under that music and we heard you.
You never go.
It's the year of the shed or whatever you were seeing last year.
I'm shedding.
Yeah.
Whatever.
The year to snake.
He's still shut.
Damn, Lauren.
He's still figuring out what he let him go.
because you ain't let him go to that little sassy attitude over there.
They walk by and say,
he's so down to herb. You bet he's little.
He got to be.
That was a good one.
Thank you.
You know, 2026, I'm trying to figure it out.
Okay.
So in this hour of the latest,
we got a few things to get to y'all.
Now, listen,
Mike Epp sat down with Shannon Sharp on Club Shay Shaves.
Three hours.
Oh, wow.
He finally got up there, man.
I remember he was like, y'all needed to get up to him.
Yeah.
Why are you said?
That's what I'm bad.
I didn't know that.
You are so shady.
Yes.
Yes, it happened.
Huh?
Okay, because they had a little smoke.
Yeah, it was a little, you know, a little back and forth with the unks.
But yes, they sat down, they figured it out.
They had a conversation, three-hour-long conversation.
So we won't get to everything here, but please go watch it.
It was a great conversation.
But they did talk about Mike Epps and because there's all, people have always tried to make it seem like there was this, there's this beef with Mike Epps and Chris Tucker.
Really?
I never heard that.
I never heard that one either.
But he's always said that there wasn't any issue.
It's just like, you know, he jokes about it because he came into the Friday franchise after, right?
But they talk about it on
during the sit down.
Let's take a listen.
Chris Tucker is mad at me
because I did the next variety.
To this day,
I said that's how'd be mad at you?
He didn't want to, okay,
the reports are that he didn't want to do cursing
and he didn't want to be smoking weed.
Well, I heard that I heard through the grapevine
and he said they should have left it alone
that they, they f***ed it up by keep doing it.
He did such a great job.
I can see him saying that.
But my mama needed to wash it dry.
But that what I was I'm supposed to do?
that shouldn't be beef between
Chris and Mike don't at all
if Chris made that statement
I think he's even even if
you know Chris did
I don't think he felt the way
maybe he just wanted to kind of preserve
what he did in the franchise
I think he
But you don't even know if Chris said that
I'm going off of what Mike Epp said right
Yeah going off of what Mike Epp said
If that is true
I could understand Chris Tucker
feeling that way and not being beef him
just feeling like you know
I'm trying to leave it alone
I don't have nothing to do with Mike person
Yeah well
Speaking of a
Other issues that went down over the holiday.
Did you guys see Pastor Jamal Bryant and his wife?
They stepped out to the United Negro College Fund.
Indeed.
Yeah, a banquet that they had.
And they raised all of this money, a ton of money.
But the conversation wasn't about that.
The conversation was about a dress that Ms. Carrie Bryant wore.
Beautiful dress, by the way.
She looked really good.
She looked amazing.
She is beautiful, but she looked amazing in the dress.
And, man, I feel like people were arguing about this for about a week, about her
address. Pastor Jamar Bryant addressed it in front of his congregation, but he also just sat down with
Tamron Hall, him and his wife, and they addressed the critics again. Let's take a listen.
Yeah, it was very enraging and irritating. And at the end of the day, I had to think to myself
to respond to that, does that grow the church or does it diminish it? And so at that moment,
I had to separate my humanity and really deal with my divine call. I'd be out of order to fight a
78 year old. It makes no sense. And he raises up his wife as the standard of how my wife
should be dressing. You know, the lesson in it all, I hope and pray for women and men that see
it is to be so anchored in who you are and who God has called you to be that when even the
noise is loud, you are still anchored in your own identity. Yeah. So there were, you know,
there was a pastor who
Patrick Wooden
who came out and had some things to say
but there were a lot of people who were going back and forth
and y'all know that they love to do this with the conversation so
I thought that it was great to hear Pastor Jamal Bryant
say I want to make sure people know
this should not push you away from church just because
you like to dress how you dress or whatever the case may be
because it's always very disheartening when people
feel like they can't come to church because you can't come as you are
like you're supposed to be able to do it. That's what they say in the church
come as you are as you are and also that wasn't in the church
I'm not policing that man's wife's clothes I've never even thought
about what the first lady should wear when they're not in the church
but they weren't in the church they were at a
banquet right? Yeah they were at the mayor's
mask ball which raised
$4 million for the United Negro
College Fund which you know
goes to students trying to better their lives so
that should have been. Now I thought the saying
come as you are was just like
if you're broken dusty come brook and dusty not
like you know like come
like as you want to but come as you are
I think it's more so like meet the people
where they are you can I mean different
have a lot of nice threads in your closet you
know just come with what you got you know what I'm saying different people take it
different ways churches take a different ways but I think it should mean where are you
ever you are in your place in life where this how you're dressing whatever you got going on
come and figure it out with us because we are the church I thought she looked nice I thought
they both look nice stepping out together but I will say since this little fiasco she's been
covered up like she was covered she was covered she was smoking she like no I mean I don't know
how she dresses any other time I never paid no attention but I did see what
pastor Jamar Bryan said about how
society always puts it
on the woman, the police themselves
and I agreed with him
because I always thought that. I'm like, why they'd be like,
you know, you got to dress a certain
way so men don't, you know, want to...
Yeah, that sounds stupid. Don't lust for you. And I'm like,
what about the man? Right. We're not
supposed to have no discipline? Look at you.
Yeah. That sounds stupid. Maybe 2026
you are opening up that big head over there.
You got a flesh color. All right, we got as we
as we wrap, no, no, no, no, no. I have something
way more important than you and at the list
over there.
As we read, we have really good news
in the room because DJ Envy
we are announcing
exclusively has added
a new major title to his growing
business portfolio.
He is now the creative cultural
strategist at American Dream Mall.
The second largest mall.
The second largest mall in the
U.S. behind Mall of America.
So this 3 million square foot
entertainment and retail destination
is one of his new jobs.
The strategic role, positions DJMV as the driving creative force behind the venue's cultural programming,
positions American Dream to deepen its footprint in music, nightlife, and lifestyle entertainment.
Break that down for me and nigger ways.
I'm bringing culture to the mall.
So what it means is like we're doing stuff for HBCU.
So HBCU panels.
So if you're interested in going to HBCU, we'll have panels there where they'll teach about HBCU.
Not only that, we'll do car events, celebrity events, but the mall has music.
So what we're doing is what we're trying to do is create a radio station in the mall, which gives young kids talent so they can start their ability to start doing it now.
So just imagine, hey, what's up?
This is a little Mikey.
Make sure you go upstairs to toys and rest.
They got 20% off today.
So it's teaching the kids how to do things like that.
Also, you got a job with meaning?
Were you actually helping people?
I love that.
Not only that.
What are you got a job?
So the mall also has like the big snow program and Nickelodeon parks.
What we're doing is kids that can't afford to go skiing and snow.
We're taking kids every month and teaching them how to ski, teaching them how to snowboard.
Because that stuff is expensive.
Snowboard skis, renting all that.
So we're teaching kids from the hood and neighborhoods that they can't afford it, how to ski and how to snowboard.
We're doing all that.
We're doing music.
NB owns a piece of the mall.
That's my story.
Absolutely.
Y'B owns a piece of the mall.
Eni owns a piece of a magic dream mall and jerse.
And you know what?
This is all after you was beefing with Dane.
This came right after.
You beefed in the best.
You know what?
I'm going to y'all.
That's great.
But also what I want to do is, like, pop-up shop.
So, for instance, your book is coming out April 26, correct?
28th.
Yeah, so what I want to do is we have a pop-up shop.
Create your own store in there where you can go sign autographs.
You'll have your book there.
You'll have merch there, and you can come and sign and people come and meet you.
I love that.
That's big.
You also have culinary programming as well.
There's a lot.
So salute to Keisha.
Camilla, Don, Adam, the whole mall that we've been putting this together for a long time.
And this came together because the malls show me so much love.
And I would just go to the mall and they would say, hey, what do you want to, what do you want to do for Black History Month?
So it just came just naturally.
It was just actually natural.
What Black History Month got to do it this year, Dominican?
Oh, my God.
I am black, sir.
I know I'm getting a Prius now.
I know I'm getting a Prius.
I know you're about to buy me a Priya.
I need a Prius.
I've been waiting outside my door.
I know I'm getting me a priors.
I know I'm getting me a priors.
Ferrell gave his home me a gift.
Ferrell gave his home me.
His brother gift.
So I gave you a great gift for Christmas
that you still haven't worn.
You gave me pants with my ass cut out.
And then you know what's messed up?
Not only did I buy you a great gift,
you had the nerve to be on Instagram
on the toilet with your pants around your ankles,
but you couldn't put on my gift with the cheeks.
You wouldn't have to pull them down.
But you see, I used the dial.
You gave me.
Okay.
Oh, nice.
Oh, yeah, your ears, though.
I want to use it at the bottom in that hair.
It's growing back.
Grand opening, when you show up at the mall
that you own a piece of now,
grand opening, you got to wear it in pants.
say that.
Congratulations, N.V.
Oh, can I do a pop-up store
with the cheek out pants?
You could do it for one of the first.
Do it, June first.
And also, when you do our senior hall, I want to get
all senior hall in that and that mall.
There's a lot I want to do.
A senior book will be out in April.
Yes.
Shout out to you, Envy.
You deserve all of the things.
Envy owns a piece of the wall.
I do not.
I do not see it.
All right.
It's the breakfast.
Let's get to the mix.
Good morning, everybody.
It's DJ Envi.
Just hilarious.
Sholomey and the guy.
We are the breakfast club.
Again, I want to salute.
to all the doctors and nurses in all these emergency rooms and hospitals.
If you follow me on Instagram, you know my daughter was, she had the flu strep and a sinus infection.
She had a seizure because of all of that.
And I don't have, we don't have seizures in our family.
Like, none of my kids ever had seizures.
None of my kids ever had seizures.
Very scary.
And I just want to say salute to all the doctors at Mount Sinai nurses that really took care of my daughter, got her back to 100%.
She's back in school.
But if you have kids or yourself, just be very careful.
was out there. My other daughter, Brooklyn,
she got the flu, and
it almost paralyzed her legs where she couldn't
walk. I had to rush her to the emergency
room. So, you know, just be careful
out there. Keep eyes on your kids. And let me
shout out to a little Sean, little Sean the rapper. He called
me up, and he gave me all these
suit to Sean Penn. Yeah, Sean Penn.
He gave me all these
things that I should be taking to make
sure to strengthen up my immune system.
Okay. So I've been giving it to my kids
and myself, and it seems like
it's been working pretty good, because if not, I'd have been sick already.
because I get sick fast.
Sean is a good brother, man.
Also, too, we need to have more about that conversation
because, you know, you said it just now,
but I don't think people grasped it.
Grasped it.
What's that?
That you kind of got misdiagnosed.
Yeah.
Like, you know, it was telling you that you and your daughter
had to have brain surgery and all types of crazy stuff.
You understand.
I had to call Charlemagne because they said,
I guess the pediatrician that does the best brain surgery
is in South Carolina.
So I called Solomon like, yo, I need this person's number.
Sholomey's trying to get the number for me.
Oh, damn.
but she was misdiagnosed.
She did not need brain surgery,
but it was scary.
And that was in Jersey.
That was in Jersey.
And that's crazy.
That's where I got my damn gallbladder taken out.
And they probably didn't he had to take it out.
Probably didn't.
I wonder if they could put it back.
I got your gallbladder taking out?
Yes, remember I had food poisoning from an oyster I ate.
And I went to Jersey,
a doctor in Jersey, Jersey Medical Center in Jersey City.
And I went and I was throwing up.
And they was like, all right, we're going to have to take out your gallbladder.
And I was like, all right, take it.
But now you say what that really happened?
Really happened?
Yes, I swear it.
It's early and much.
That's why I missed all those shows for Martin.
That's crazy.
Yeah, so let's salute to those doctors.
Like you see, we need to have a conversation because people are misdiagnosed in people.
And it could be a lot worse.
And that happens a lot, especially to black people, especially the, you know, brown people in NB's case.
I'm black.
That happens a lot.
All right, well.
They're doing great now.
Thank God we got a double a second opinion, third opinion.
Black, brown and beige people, that happens a lot.
I'm in my own job.
A beige.
That was a great.
Oh, hold on, Mimi.
Say what's up, Mimi.
Mimi Brown is here as well.
Yes, she is.
Okay, and Mimi will be here tomorrow.
She's in, she's in studio.
I'm in studio, be here tomorrow.
What he just said.
Tell him where to follow you, Mimi.
Follow me at Mimi Brown TV on all platforms.
Are you tired, Mimi?
I am a little tired.
Yes, I can tell.
See, what happens is everybody fades around this time of day
if you're not used to being an outfit.
That's right.
I was going to say, we should have asked Mimi about taking out
her Christmas decoration,
He was the first to put her Christmas year.
I sure was.
She put her Christmas tree up in September.
In September, she put her Christmas tree up.
Did you take it down yet?
I took it down January 2nd.
All right.
Yeah, but her tree is only this big.
That little tree that we sit behind her when she did.
I mean, that's the one of your office.
We got off.
We had a bigger one.
It was a live tree, so it was our, like, falling apart.
I got you.
I got you.
It's time to get up out of here.
Show them.
You got a positive note?
I do, man.
We are happy to be back.
This was our first show of 20206, man.
I just want you all to know.
that there is always an opportunity to start again and again.
Okay, if they always are not working,
if what you did last year wasn't working,
just look for better ways of doing it
in this new year, 2026, and start again fresh.
All right?
Y'all have a great day.
Breakfast club, bidsies.
Are you all finished or y'all done?
Hi, I'm Dr. Priyankowali.
And I'm Hurricane de Bolo.
It's a new year, and on the podcast,
health stuff, we're resetting the way we talk about our health.
Which means being honest about what we know,
what we don't know,
I'll be. I like to sleep in late and sleep early. Is there a chronotype for that or am I just
depressed? Health stuff is about learning, laughing and feeling a little less alone. Listen on the
I Heart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Hi, I'm Ed Zittron, host of the
Better Offline podcast. And this January, we're going to go on the road to beautiful Las Vegas, Nevada,
to cover the Consumer Electronics Show, Tech's biggest conference. Better Offline CES covers
which won't be the usual rundown of the hottest gadgets or biggest trends,
but an unvarnished look at what the tech industry plans to sell or do to you in 2025.
I'll be joined by David Roth at Defector and the writer Edward Onguoso Jr.
With guest appearances from behind the bastards Robert Evans,
it could happen here as Gare Davis and a few surprised guests throughout the show.

I'm Dr. Lari Santos, and in a new year series of my show, The Happiness Lab,
I'm going to look at the science of getting, well, unstuck,
unstuck at work, unstuck in your relationships, and even unstuck inside your mind.
I am the absolute worst culprit when it comes to getting into these ruminative loops and just driving myself crazy.
