Good morning.

Sholomey and the guy, we are to breakfast club.
Let's getting some front page news.
What's up, Mimi?
Good morning, Envy.
Shalemey, Jess.
How y'all doing this morning?
Bless Black and Holly.
How are you, Mimi?
Good.
Thank you.
So let's get right into it.
So we start this morning with news
that could escalate tensions
and the ongoing war with Iran.
So starting today, the U.S. military says it will begin a blockade of the Strait of Hermuz,
one of the most critical shipping routes in the world.
So this comes after President Trump warned last week that, quote,
a whole civilization will die tonight if Iran did not reopen, reopen that waterway.
Now, he addressed making those comments during an interview yesterday on Fox News.
Let's listen to what he had to say.
We think that numerous countries are going to be helping us with this also, but we're putting on a complete blockade.
We're not going to let Iran make money on selling oil to people that they like and not people that they don't like or whatever it is.
It's going to be all or none, and that's the way it is.
And it'll be, you saw what we did with Venezuela.
It'll be something very similar to that, but at a higher level.
And I will tell you, while we're on the subject, we're very disappointed with NATO.
We're very, very disappointed that they didn't come.
Now they want to come
or they want to help with the straight
and it won't take long to clean
it out. So we're going to clean out the straight
and they'll be able to use the straight
in not too long a distance.
It's insane to me
that we are weak removed from the president
saying he wanted to wipe out a whole civilization.
Literally, I thought we were on the verge
of America dropping the nuke and then a week
later we have just moved on like that was a
normal thing to post.
Absolutely. And that was the sound
from the blockade. So the U.S. Navy,
they're essentially going to control the traffic
through the ship. So stopping, checking, and potentially turning away any ships, especially those
connected to Iran. And that's what Trump was just addressing. So this comes after a weekend that was
full of promise, but ended with 21 hours of talks. Now, both sides, they failed to reach an
agreement with major disagreements over Iran's nuclear program with U.S. officials now saying
that is the critical problem. Iran wants to keep their nuclear weapons. And Trump,
says no, that can't happen. And going back to that other audio where we talk about Trump addressing
those comments that he made that you were just talking about, Charle, let's play that.
Let me tell you, that statement got them to the bargaining table, and they haven't left.
They haven't left the bargaining table. I predict they come back and they give us everything
we want. And I told my people, I want everything. I don't want 90%, I don't want 95%. I told them,
I want everything.
If you were Iran and you just had the president of the United States of America
tell you that he wants to end your whole civilization, why would you stop your nuclear weapons program?
Why wouldn't you want to have a nuke in your back pocket just in case when you got somebody
that unstable in an office here in America?
Now when he said he wants everything, they're just talking about weapons or they want to control
everything from here on out?
That's a great question.
I think it's a little bit of everything, right?
He wants to stop their nuclear program.
You know, the question of why they went into the war in the first place keeps
changing, but the nuclear program,
he wants to be able to control the Strait of
Fremuz, so I think it's a little bit of everything.
So he didn't expand into exactly what that
means, but, you know, he wants
total control. But Iran, they are
pushing back on that, saying the Navy,
their Navy still has, quote, full control
of the Strait. And in a statement,
Iran's Revolutionary Guard warning
that any military shifts moving toward
the Strait would be seen as a
violation of that two-week ceasefire
that they came up with and would be met
with strong and forceful response.
Iran says the straight is under what they call smart management and will remain open to non-military ships as long as they followed their rules.
So bottom line, commercial ships can still pass.
But when it comes to military vessels, Iran, they are drawing a hard line.
Yeah, because negotiation is you give a little, I give a little, but that's not what they're saying.
So that's not a negotiation.
They're just saying what they want.
They're saying what they want.
Meanwhile, Trump says there's going to be a blockade.
Iran says there will be no blockade because we control the street.
So we'll see what happens that we'll kick in today.
Meanwhile, lawmakers, they're back in Washington today after a week-long vacation, an Easter break.
But there's still a major question that's still unresolved.
Will DHS workers, including TSA agents, keep getting paid?
So the partial government shutdown has now lasted more than eight weeks after lawmakers came close to a deal but never finalized it.
So President Trump, he signed that executive order to provide back pay,
for TSA and DHS workers.
We talked about that, which will help, you know, that helped get more agents back to work
and ease those long lines that we saw at the airport.
But now there's a new concern in a memo sent out last week.
DHS warned employees that that check that they received on April 10th
could be their last check until Congress reaches a funding agreement,
saying that future pay will only come once a deal is in place.
So it is still unclear if that applies to TSA agents.
so that's adding more to the confusion.
How much more do you want to disrupt people's lives, man?
I mean, folks are already used to live in check to check,
but it's very hard to live check to check.
If you don't even know you got another check coming.
Yeah, exactly.
So we'll follow that, but definitely, you know, TSA workers
and DHS employees in general are probably all on edge, you know,
with this news coming out.
So coming up at 7, though, a major political campaign,
basically collapsing overnight.
Some serious allegations are now turning maybe into a criminal investigation.
We'll talk about it in the next hour.
All right. Everybody else, get it off your chest.
800-585-105-105.1.
If you need to vent, call us up right now.
I know we can speak to him, what, five, six days.
So get it off your chest.
Call us up right now.
It's the breakfast club.
Good morning.
This is your time to get it off your chest.
Wait, wake up.
Whether you're mad or blast.
It's time to get up and get something.
Call up now.
800585-105-1.
We want to hear from you on the Breakfast Club.
Hello, who's this?
Good morning.
This is James calling from North Carolina.
Hey, James.
What's up?
James.
What's up, James?
Good morning.
What's going on, Charles?
Yeah.
But, yeah, I had a question for DJ Invey.
When you was attending Hampton,
yes, sir.
You, did you ever go to a step show
and see a white fraternity or a sorority
or sorority performing?
Sir, I went to an HBCU.
There wasn't no white fraternities or sororities.
Well, you're Dominican.
I'm not Dominican.
I don't mean other races can't be at an HBCU.
I am black.
I know there are some white kids that join black fraternities and sororities.
But on campus, where I was, there were none.
Oh, and another thing I asked this because I saw this movie called Step Sisters.
It's about a white sorority that enters a step show and the black sororities are all against it.
Like, nah, this is the only thing that we have for our culture that's still ours.
And you think that would happen in real life?
I mean, there are white fraternities and there are white sororities.
There's a bunch of white sororities.
They are.
Well, you mean like the step show?
No, no.
Yeah, the step show part.
Oh, I ain't anybody want to see that unseasoned step show.
I ain't, I mean, the only time I've ever seen white people stepping is when they've been with black people
because they're part of the sorority.
And, you know, those guys be pretty good because they'd be around a bunch of black people.
I mean, yeah.
I haven't seen the whole white sorority stepping.
You do see some.
some white people in black fraternities
and black sororities. But like I said,
I've never seen a white step show.
I've never been asked to DJ one. No,
I have I ever went. So I couldn't fill you in, brother.
Oh, okay. All right.
Y'all have a good day, bro. I'm looking at something
out that's of the predominantly white sorority that I can't even
pronounce. Zeta Tau Alpha?
From the University of Augusta won the National
Sprite Step-off competition and earned a hundred grand
back in 2010. Yeah. Now, they all
step shows. I just haven't been.
It's a video for them. They look ridiculous. They look like they made
the band. Stupid. Hello, who's this?
This is Dexter.
Dexter, from the Bronx, man.
What's going on?
Good morning, everyone.
Dexter.
Wong, guan.
I don't want to talk to nobody
from the Bronx
this early in the morning,
man.
I'm going to be honest.
Dexter.
I got a good feeling about Dexter.
I got to tell you, man.
I'm a small business owner, right?
You know, by the way,
Jess, how he came to the Bronx
a couple months ago and then to call us, man?
We're the top way of security company in the Bronx.
CPR security services.
Oh, you got a DM me next time I come out there
because I do sauce to come from a while.
I ain't been there in a while,
but I'm coming up, I'm coming back to Salsa Campoago
this month or next month, so yeah, you got to drop me a DM.
Are people from the board?
All right, all right, all right, I will, I will.
Do people from the board?
I want to get off my chest, these gas prices.
You said what?
The gas prices are killing us right now.
Small businesses and everyone live in check to check.
Small businesses live in check to check.
What's going on, man?
Yeah, now these gas prices are crazy.
I mean, every time my wife has to go to the gas station
and my daughter goes to the gas, they call me.
Like, Dad, is this too high?
I'm like, that's the norm right now.
but, you know, they're super-duper-high.
Yeah, yeah, like, my wife calls me all the time.
Like, I need gas, and these gas prices are crazy.
I was like, I was like, you're like, we're not going to make it.
Yeah.
What happened to low gas prices and groceries?
Yeah.
Oh, that went out the window a long time ago, sir.
Actually, that never happened, by the way.
Oh, man.
Well, I love you guys.
I appreciate you guys taking my call.
Can I listen to you guys every day?
Can I ask you a question?
I'm on the Netflix.
I ain't mad about the Netflix, but, you know,
come back to YouTube a little bit more.
Well, we still got clips.
on YouTube, but we're currently number one
on Netflix in regards to podcasting.
But listen, let me ask you a question.
Do people respect security companies in the Bronx?
Damn. Yes.
I don't believe you.
You don't believe it? Check us out.
CPR security services.
Okay. I got you. I'll check y'all out. Make sure you're sending
a DM, brother. I got you.
Get it off your chest.
800-585-105-105-1.
If you need the vent, hit us up now.
It's the Breakfast Club. Good morning.
Wait, get it up.
This is your time to get it off your chat.
8-585-10-1.
to hear from you on the breakfast club.
Hello, who's this?
Hey, good morning, guys.
This is your boy, Dingo.
Hey, Tyler.
What I'm in?
Hey, what's going on, y'all?
What's going on?
Just wanted to check back in with y'all.
Hopefully y'all had a great spring break.
Yes, sir.
Yep, yep.
Very neat.
Beautiful, y'all.
Well, as y'all know,
y'all know your boy getting married and everything.
So, and I called it a while ago saying, you know,
her family wanted us to kind of get married this year
if they was going to pay for it, right?
Oh, yeah.
I remember.
Yeah, yeah.
So they ended up kind of retracting on that.
So they ended up a week ago, got all excited.
So now we're kind of, you know, we're going to end up doing it, but we're going to
paying for it.
So that's kind of messed up.
But, hey, look, it is what it is.
So.
Yeah, at least you can do things your way.
Huh?
I'd say, now at least you can do things your way.
You don't got to have anybody else calling shots just because they're paying for it.
So.
Absolutely.
Absolutely.
But our family is.
still a little bit involved.
They want us to do what's called marriage counseling.
And I don't really know how to feel about marriage.
He said that like we don't know what that is.
Right.
Well, I'm just saying.
I'm just saying.
I'm just saying.
For the people that don't know.
You know what I don't really know if I feel like doing that.
I feel like it's for people that might be struggling, you know.
Not necessarily.
I mean, when we got,
when me and my wife got married,
we actually had to go to marriage counseling for the pastor to come in and do the wedding.
Like, that's what he, you know,
yeah.
I think we should be a requirement.
Yeah, he made us sit down and we had a conversation with him for him to, to oversee the wedding.
Yeah, we had to do it.
Okay.
So, what are you saying you had to do it for the particular pastor?
But if, because we have a pastor that wants to do that too, but that's saying that you've got to go through it.
But we just feel like we don't really need that because we're pretty stable in our foundation.
And we communicate.
We, you know, we feel like we're good as far as like our relationship in our ground there.
So I just feel like an hour or two or somebody, you know, trying to get to know us and tell us how marriage should be the thing is little inappropriate.
It's only a few sessions y'all got to do though, right?
Like how many, like, you know, how many times per week or what is it?
Yeah, a few sessions, but it's like 500 bucks.
Like, I mean, I just feel like, I don't want to pay for that, you know, and I can get somebody.
If I'm not the one that wanted, that don't require that.
Well, X our parents to pay for it since they want it so bad.
That's all.
You know, you all pay for that.
I pay for the wedding compromise.
Yes, but I don't know.
I just feel like it's kind of weird.
I don't know if couples should be forced to do it or not.
That's why I'm called.
I'm like, I don't know if I can remember, I mean, it was 24 years ago.
but it wasn't that in death.
It was just, you know,
it would just talk about the relationship,
love and God in the marriage,
and that's basically what it was about.
It wasn't in depth because he doesn't,
you know,
they don't know your ends and outs,
but.
Yeah,
I don't remember I was going to go to get married.
I did.
There we go.
I did.
It depends on the church you get married in.
Like, it depends.
Wow.
Okay, well,
I don't know.
Baptist.
Maybe I'm just trying to reach out.
I don't know if that was an appropriate thing to do or not,
but honestly,
I feel like at this point,
I don't really want to listen to,
you know,
everything because we're paying for it now so I feel like it's my shots you know saying me and my
girl shot okay there you go good luck brother I appreciate you man and envy you are right this crap is
expensive as heck it ain't no 100,000 like y'all doing I'm gonna keep it under 30 but still it's up
there it's a little more than that but all right thank you tyler a lot more than actually I'm just I'm just
just letting my daughter here let all right look whatever baby girl want hello who's this
chario what's up brother get it off your chest chario all right chario going
once, Chario. Going twice, Chario.
Gone! Get it off your chest.
800, 585. I feel like you practiced that.
What? I feel like you've been practicing that at home.
What? He said whatever you just did just now.
That was weird. That was a little weird.
He said hello and then he just his phone call.
Practices one. For going once. Going twice. Go on. What the hell?
Get it off your chest. 800 585.105.15. What's up?
Italy. Hey, y'allel.
Hey, y'allano.
What you was at? I was in Italy. I went there for the spring break.
I didn't know that. How was it? How was the Amafi coat?
It was so beautiful.
We went to Naples or Napoli, me and my boyfriend.
We went to...
I'm still going out with that man here and proposed to you
and nothing yet taking you all along.
Anyway, go here.
Go ahead.
Go here.
We went to Capri.
We went to Capri.
We went to a Mawfee, like the actual town of Mawfee.
We went and then we spent the last day in Naples, but we did like the ocean side.
Nice.
It did the countryside.
It was beautiful.
Nothing if you didn't come back with no ring.
So he does out there sweat.
That is so, my.
That is so dope.
That is dope.
So how was the food?
Everything.
was great there. Everything was amazing.
The food was good. A lot of pasta.
I don't understand how some of the people stay so skinny.
It's real food. But your mom and grandma
ain't tell you about leaving the country with that man and he
didn't propose to you yet? My mom and grandmother
love him so much.
They love him. And they're going to love him when he does it because
he will. Okay.
Period. What are you doing what you're doing?
Twice as I know on you.
Oh, my God.
Third time. Third time.
The charm.
Third times of charm.
They put pressure on you. We have the latest coming up
what we talk about. Yes.
Two of the biggest forces in R&B are coming together for something crazy.
We're going to talk about it.
We'll get to that.

There's two golden rules that any man should live by.
Rule one, never mess with a country girl.
You play stupid games, you get stupid prizes.
And rule two, never mess with her friends either.
We always say that trust your girlfriends.
I'm Anna Sinfield.
And in this new season of the girlfriends,
Oh my God, this is the same man.
A group of women discover they've all dated the same prolific con artist.
I felt like I got hit by a truck.
I thought, how could this happen to me?
The cops didn't seem to care.
So they take matters into their own hands.
I said, oh, hell no.
I vowed.
I will be his last target.
He's going to get what he deserves.
Listen to the girlfriends.
Trust me, babe.

I'm John Green. You may know me as the author of The Fault and Our Stars, and now I guess also as the co-host of The Away End, a brand new world soccer podcast. I'm Daniel Alarcon, a writer and journalist, and John and I have known each other since we were kids. My first World Cup was Mexico 86. I was nine years old. I watched every game and I fell in love. On our new podcast, The Away End, we'll share with you the magic of international football, all leading up to the 2026 World Cup.
For us, soccer.
Football is a story we've shared for over 30 years since Daniel was the star player on our high school soccer team.
Very debatable.
And I was their most loyal and sometimes only fan.
I love this game.
I love its history, its hope, its heartbreak, and above all, its beauty.
Together, we'll find out why, of all the unimportant things, football, soccer, is the most important.

Next is the breakfast club. Good morning.
Your talk, L.L. Cube.
Yeah.
I'm not dumbing myself down.
I'm being myself.
That source is tough.
I'm the homeguard that knows a little bit about everything and everything.
The little brown girls look at you and go, I want to be like you.
Take me through that.
Take me through that.
The latest with Lauren Lewis.
Take me through that.
On the breakfast club.
L.L. Cube.
Talk to me.
All righty guys.
So really quick, a moment for Usher and Chris Brown.
Because, yes.
My video.
While we were out, Usher and Chris Brown announced that they are going to be doing a joint tour.
The tour is called R&B, Raymond and Brown Tour.
And, of course, fans are really excited.
We're going to get to see them on stage.
That's dope.
A lot of the details have not been released yet.
But the fact that they're actually going on tour together and will be hit in different states.
and maybe we'll see some music as well, too.
People are really excited to hear.
I know Chris Brown dropped a new song
after this announcement went down as well, too.
We have a snippet of that song.
Chris, Chris, don't be a big, listen.
It's going to be a big spike in population.
Are everybody going to be having babies?
Everybody going to come back pregnant on this tour.
Let me tell you something.
People are going to get money to even go to this show.
There's so many damn shows this year.
You got Mary Jane Blige.
You got a new edition of Boyd to Men is just ended.
They just ended.
Yeah.
B2K, they still out there.
That sold out.
In Vogue, TLC and Seltin'HSAP.
GZ.
In Vegas.
GZ.
The baby.
Everybody.
But, I mean, the ticket prices range,
and a lot of people
have been pricing the tickets
where they know everybody
can afford them
because they know people.
This is selling out.
You got U.
U.S.
Vegas residency and Breezy Bowl combined.
No question.
This is selling out.
They're going to figure out that money.
If I was, if I was artists,
I would be talking to each other.
Like, oh, you're going on the road
anytime soon?
Because this usher,
Chris Brown is going to shut everything.
But they got to charge a lot,
right?
because the production got to be through the roof.
Oh, it's going to be crazy.
Production's going to be crazy.
If Chris Brown was flying around last time,
what is he going to do this time?
I don't know.
We know the roller skates and his trippers
is going to come out there too.
They won't spend money on just oxygen takes
for both of them.
Okay, they both are going to be.
Oh, my God.
I can't wait to see that one.
All right.
And I never seen Usher perform live, so yeah.
Oh, what?
Yeah, I've been to every Chris Brown, everything,
but I've never seen Usher.
You might cry at the end of this concert.
Those two together.
I am going to be good.
It's going to be good.
Yes.
Yes.
Yes. Now other updates and some news.
So when we were here last, we talked a bit about Gucci men, Pushaisti and all of the things that were going down over there with the alleged kidnapping and robbery.
But since we've been away, they have actually been back in court, Pushiasty, his dad, Big 30 and some of the other guys that were arrested.
And it was determined while in court that Pushaisti will remain in police custody following his arrest on kidnapping and robbery charges.
This happened in a federal court in Dallas last week.
and that Poochaisi's father was released on a home confinement
after a bond of $250,000 was posted.
Strict home confinement as well.
A big order,
Big 30 was also ordered to remain detained.
But a big conversation.
You know, it's amazing to me that people are more upset about Gucci
putting out a song about the situation than they are about what Pushi
actually did.
And when we just breeze past the back that,
Breeze passed the fact that he was with his father.
That don't sound crazy.
What you say people are upset?
What people are you talking about?
Okay.
All right.
Just be clear because it's stupid as hell.
You just got home.
It's insanity.
And you and your pops?
He was only out for about maybe six months, seven months.
Duce was up.
People like free, push, I see.
I'm like, what do you mean when you say free them exactly?
Because when I say free somebody, it's because they're in jail unjustly or because
there's some type of political prisoner.
But he just came home for a,
robbing somebody.
Yeah, it don't make sense.
And then went back to prison for robbing
somebody. Like, come on, bro.
Well, the song that you guys are talking about that Gucci
dropped is called Crash Dummy.
That song is very immature.
But, boy, it's dead.
Gucci made a hate-old.
God damn, that song is a jammer.
But I don't like it because it's immature.
I don't think Gucci should have did the song.
I don't think it should have done it.
I thought it was fake at first.
But it's jamming, though.
I don't think Gucci should have did the song.
Gucci Man is A-Tover-He-He-Tover-old.
Yeah, Gucci is a businessman.
He is a businessman.
He is an executive.
He's a CEO.
He's a dad.
That's right.
Ish happens.
This is when he goes out, goes back into that CEO,
just let it play out.
I don't think he shouldn't release that record.
I mean, he's an artist and it's definitely given old Gucci.
I mean, I miss that.
But it's immature.
It's irresponsible to do a record like that at a time like this.
But yeah, man, this whole situation just pissed me off.
It pissed me off, number one, did it happen?
Because I know Poushathi would never do that to a white executive ever, right?
And none of these guys would do that to a white executive.
But it also pissed me off just the reaction.
People are more upset.
at Gucci
and him putting out a song
than they are what Poo Shisty
actually did
and Poo Shitey just came home
from a bid
for doing something similar
Why are we not mad at him and his daddy
That's true
I am throwing your life away
I am he's a huge influence
The mask is called a Shistie now
These kids follow him
He had a number one record
Beating out Mariah Carey at one point
Like he has the influence
FDO was number one on the Apple music charts over
All I Want for Christmas for a while
When he first came home
You shouldn't have went and got your daddy
And a bunch of guys and some guns
You should have went and got a good lawyer
But how can we expect anything other than that
His father is what his father do
His father raised him like that
That's how his father's known for all of that
When you get to get to the point
Where you say you know what
I gotta do what's best for my son
And for best for my son
It's not seeing him back in that hole
Not seeing him back behind bars
Not seen him back in that
That's all they know
A lot of the
You're rich. You got red.
A lot of the upset conversation online is like whether Gucci cooperated did it and whatever.
And there were attorneys outside of this hearing.
A big 30s attorney actually made a statement that kind of changed the conversation when he says that Gucci Men is not cooperating.
Let's take a listen.
The interesting thing that we've seen in the last couple of days is that Gucci Man has come out publicly and said that he's not cooperating with the government.
Now, what the government said that he has cooperated with them.
I was going to say there was an FBI agent who said,
that Gucci provided a statement to Dallas police after the incident.
But giving a statement doesn't mean he's working with the feds long term.
Doesn't mean he's testifying in court.
It means he's probably filed a police report because he needs one for insurance purposes
for all that jury and stuff that got stolen.
Yeah.
But guess what?
Even if he did tell I wouldn't care.
Okay.
They need to get told on.
Why shouldn't they get told on for doing something like that?
Well, the conversation is if Gucci's a street dude and this is what's the street.
That's what the original conversation was.
That's what people were upset about.
But like you said, you could say used to be.
But also, if I get robbed of a million dollar plus of jewelry, right?
If anybody has anything and you have to report to it,
you just can't call an insurance company.
Like, I got robbed.
You got to do a police report.
There's a police report.
And the police report, you have to show a police report.
Just like if your car is stolen, you just can't call an insurance company,
they say my car is stolen.
There has to be a police report.
And also, do you all know that Gucci security was an off-duty police officer?
Yes, and that's what I was going to clarify.
The police report that you're talking about, yeah,
They were off due to the police officers.
The police report was taking the night of,
I'm assuming he was speaking to his security guards,
and the federal agents are saying since then there's been no cooperation
from any of the victims,
which is leaving them in kind of like a limbo.
And Pushaise's attorney outside of the courtroom also said
because they don't have these now additional conversations
with these people that are victims, Gucci Man,
all these other people,
they think that the case is going to be like basically a bunch of BS
because they're also saying that there were no cameras
inside of the studio as well, too,
but we just have to follow to see what happens.
I thought they did have surveillance and digital records and multiple witness accounts.
So they have photo, there's an office building.
They have photos from outside of, like, them leaving and exiting.
You have, they have witness statements or accounts from that night.
But the attorneys outside of the courtroom said since then there's been no conversation between the victims and the federal agents
and that they don't have enough strong video evidence from inside of the studio to pin anything.
So basically, Pushaise and Big 30s attorneys are saying that they don't think that this is going to stick.
They have the artists wearing the jewelry and the watches.
Right?
They also have the cameraman who has
injuries on his neck.
She had an ankle monitor on.
Yes.
They have that he's there.
He had an ankle monitor.
Listen, I'm just telling you what they said outside of the courtroom.
They're saying it is not going to add up.
It's not going to stick because what we saw when everything,
the indictment first dropped and what they have when you go deep into it are not equally.
I just want to know what was the other plans?
There was no other plans.
If that was a white executive,
they would have came up with multiple things to do to this white executive
and none of them would have included pulling the pistols out of it.
on this dude and robin.
The sad thing about it is they probably thought
Gucci was their friend there, man.
Most white executives wouldn't have been their friend.
Wouldn't have been their guy, wouldn't have been their homie.
So you rob your friend, your man?
What the hell are y'all talking about here?
But they probably looked at it differently.
Nogic logic makes no sense to me.
No, it's 2026.
You're poochie. This is Gucci man.
Like, we just go walk home and just go to sleep
and wake up and everything's regular next day.
We got it right.
I'm going to get a good attorney.
I'm not even going to be there for many of these people.
Can wrap up y'all.
Hey, this is the moral of the story, kids.
Criminal Niggilogic makes no sense to me.
a great morning. We'll be back with more breakfast club.
Good morning. Morning, everybody.
It's DJ NV. Just hilarious.
Charlemaine Nguide. We are the Breakfast
Club. Let's get back in some front page news. What's up, Mimi?
Good morning. NB.J. Shalomain, how y'all doing this morning?
Peace, Mimi Brown.
Good morning. So we start this hour
with major political fallout here in California
that could spread to the halls of Congress.
So Eric Swalwell, a sitting member
of Congress, is suspending his campaign
for California.
governor following serious allegations of sexual misconduct. In a statement posted on X, Swalwell said he
is stepping aside to fight what he calls false accusations outside of the campaign while acknowledging
that what he described as past mistakes in judgment. Now, the accusations, they were first
reported late last week. They include a sexual, or claims from a former staffer who says she was
sexually assaulted. Swalwell has repeatedly denied these allegations. Let's listen.
It's false. And also, you know, some of the allegations I've seen, which is that we've had NDAs in the office.
Never, there's never been an allegation and there's never been a settlement.
And, you know, I will also just take stock that, look, we're 27 days before an election starts.
If I was Eric Swarwell, I wouldn't have suspended my campaign.
Absolutely not. If the president of the United States of America can be found liable for sexual abuse and have all the allegations he has and still run and win, I'm not.
dropping out. Furthermore, Joe Biden faced several allegations of inappropriate
touching and an allegation of sexual assault and they didn't make him suspend his campaigns.
So if I was Eric, I wouldn't suspend my campaign and Democrats shouldn't be forcing them to suspend it.
Well, a lot of Democrats are calling on him to suspend his campaign, even, you know, asking him to
step down out of Congress as well. Now, when he was in that soundbite, he was referring to the, you know,
California governor primary race, which is taking place on June 2nd. But, you know, there's many women now
have come out, including that former
staffer we were just talking about.
She says that he sexually
assaulted her in a New York
hotel while she was heavily
intoxicated. She's now speaking
to CNN, and here is some of
what she had to say. After that bar
closed, we went to another.
I went to the bathroom,
and I don't remember anything
after that. I can see
flashes of
that evening. In my
flash that I can recall
I was pushing him off of me saying, no.
I woke up the next morning, naked, alone in his hotel room.
I, for a moment, didn't even know I was in his hotel room.
That's how intoxicated I was.
When was this?
This was, I believe, in 2024.
Yeah.
This allegation was in 2024.
Now, that allegation is now under investigation by the Manhattan District Attorney's Office.
And at the same time, prosecutors here in California, they're reviewing whether a separate
incident that is from 2019 could involve criminal conduct. Now, three other women, they've also come
forward alleging various forms of sexual misconduct, including explicit messages. Now, Swalwell, he
denies those claims as well. But as we were just talking about the political fallout, it has been
immediate top allies, including California Congressman Adam Schip. He pulled his endorsement within
hours. His campaign manager stepped down and more than 50 former staffers. They signed a letter
calling for him to drop out and to resign from Congress.
And so now questions are growing about the future.
His future on Capitol Hill with several lawmakers,
you know,
urging him to step down from office altogether.
I don't want to know why don't even have a choice.
What do you say, Judge?
So he technically don't have a choice because everybody else,
his campaign manager,
everybody else is like pulling their money and everything.
So he don't even have a choice.
Well, also before this,
he was considered a top contender to replace Governor Gavin Newsom out here.
And so now that race is just thrown into even more uncertainty with, you know,
knowing now really being the frontrunner.
What were you going to say, Charlotte?
I just want to know why the rules don't apply for everyone equally all across the board.
Like how come some politicians have to suspend their campaigns when they have these accusations?
And some don't.
Like, it's just no consistency.
Especially in the day that we're living in.
But, you know, again, like Jess mentioned, which is a really good point,
there are a lot of people coming down and there's a lot of mounting pressure on him right.
now. So we'll continue to see what happens with that. And staying in politics, New York City
mayors Iran Mandami is marking 100 days in office and making the case that this is just the
beginning. He told a crowd of supporters in Queens that his first few months in office have been a
success pointing to what he calls early wins. Let's listen. We began with a promise, universal
child care. And by day eight, we delivered it. We are going after the bad landlords who violate
our laws and mistreat their tenants.
Since January 1st, we have won more than $34 million in settlements, judgments, and repairs for tenants.
Since we took office, murders have hit record lows.
There has not been a murder on Staten Island in more than 180 days.
Crime in our city is down.
So, yes.
He went on to say that his administration, they're rolling out plans to expand bus lanes,
to speed up commutes, clean up the city's trash problems,
and launching a government-subsidized grocery store aimed at.
lowering food prices in East Harlem.
But while he did highlight progress,
there are some limits, some of the biggest promises
like making buses free, they've stalled.
But that's largely due to cost
and pushback from state agencies.
And New York, of course, is facing
a major multi-billion dollar budget gap
that's going to make it harder for him to deliver
on some of those promises. But he is
leaning into what he calls everyday fixes,
better sanitation, faster commutes, and more accessible
services, what he calls pothole politics.
I'm curious about the city
run grocery stores. I know they open one in
Harlem and the goal is to have one in every
borough so that way they can lower the prices on
some of the, you know, the eggs, the food,
the juices and stuff like that. So I'm really
I really want to know more about that because
with only one store, do you know
what the lines will be for that one store
for people to try to get some savings? So
I mean, I commend them for doing it. The universe
of child care is a big deal too, though. You got to
drop one of the cruise bombs. It's on around the
down there. Getting that past is
that, that was a big one.
I know we like, we speed past that
and we say it, but that's bringing a lot of relief to a lot of people.
Absolutely. And that's a really good point, too.
I didn't think about that with the lines and that.
And yes, the goal is to get it in all five boroughs, you know, he said before his term is up.
So definitely some good points there.
And lastly, to a developing story that's drawing national attention, a family searching for answers after a birthday trip ends in tragedy.
So 31-year-old Miami influencer Ashley Janay, whose role name is Ashley Robinson.
She's died under mysterious circumstances while on.
a trip to Tanzania. So Robinson, she was found unresponsive in her room at a luxury resort
in Zanzibar and later pronounced dead at a nearby hospital. Now, she traveled there to celebrate
her birthday and during that trip, her fiance, Joe McCann, he proposed. But now questions
are growing. Her fiance told authorities that she died by suicide, a claim her family and close
friends. They are strongly disputing, calling for a full investigation into what really happened.
Now, in a joint statement, her family says, quote, one moment she was celebrating love in life, and the next she was gone, adding the sudden loss, the unanswered questions, and the distance from home have made this even more devastating.
An active investigation is now underway with the family working alongside local authorities.
They are also warning that any information not coming directly from them should be treated with caution.
So far, U.S. officials nor the Tanzanian authorities, they have not released any.
details. That's horrible, man.
Send the healing energy to her and her family, man.
That's horrible. I hope they find out what happened.
Absolutely. Absolutely.
Very, very heartbreaking story.
All right, y'all, well, I hate to end on
a sad note, but
that is your front page news. I'm Mimi Brown.
Follow me at Mimi Brown TV.
And for more stories, follow the Black Information Network.
All right, thank you, Mimi. Now, when we come back,
let's open up the phone lines. 885-105-1.
Nikki Glazier, she was doing her podcast,
and the sentiments was, I don't care
My husband has sex with other women.
Let's listen.
Nicky wasn't doing her podcast.
He was on the Call her Daddy podcast with Alex Kookewkla.
Call her Daddy podcast, yes.
Let's listen what they said.
A guy has a sexual connection with the girl and, like, he was to use protection
and just have sex with her for a night.
Like, I don't, I literally wouldn't care if my husband did that.
I don't, I don't know why.
Emotional cheating would hurt me, but like physical, I'm just like, I just feel like
I understand how sex is for men most of the time outside of a relationship.
It's just kind of transactional and it's just like they just want to n-I.
I would always ask anyone I was with.
to be like, if you develop feelings for the while, let's tell me and we'll deal with it.
Like, I just don't want to be blindsided.
But if you want to have sex with someone else, also tell me about it because I want to, like, see what she looks like and like ask you about it.
Well, let's open the phone line.
Let's just take your thoughts.
We'll break it down when we come back.
800-585-105-1.
It's the Breakfast Club.
Good morning.
Morning, everybody.
It's DJ NV.
Just hilarious.
Salameen the guy.
We are the Breakfast Club.
Now, if you're just joining us, we open up the phone lines, 800-585-105-1.
We were talking about a clip that we saw on the, what's the name of the name of it?
podcast show? This is the caller daddy podcast with Alex Cooper.
Mm-hmm. Now, Nikki Glazier was talking about her husband and if her husband had sex with
other women, let's listen. If a guy has a sexual connection with a girl and like he was to use
protection and just have sex with her for a night, like I don't, I literally wouldn't care
if my husband did that. I don't, I don't know why. Emotional cheating would hurt me, but like
physical, I'm just like, I just feel like I understand how sex is for men most of the time, outside
of a relationship. It's just kind of transactional and it's just like they just want to n- I would always
ask anyone I was with to be like, if you develop
the ones for the one else, tell me and we'll deal with it.
Like, I just don't want to be blindsided.
But if you want to have sex with someone else, also tell me about it
because I want to, like, see what she looks like and, like, ask you about it.
Now, Nikki Glazer, of course, as a comedian.
Yeah.
And actually, yes, surety is a man's best friend.
That's all, like I say.
I understand where she coming from, but that's different for certain people.
Because the part I do understand is the emotional cheating and like it,
because y'all didn't play that part, but she was like,
now, if you watch Waya, if you watch the wire with a bitch,
all right, cool.
It's some type of sentiment of value there.
You know what I mean?
If you're texting her, you know, y'all got, like,
I have a conversation and all that you buying a gift.
All right, cool.
That's more emotional than just physical.
But I still wouldn't tolerate none of it.
That's also why, you know, it cuts so deep when a woman cheats on a man
because men know that women just ain't out here giving it up.
Like, you know what I'm saying?
If you're giving it up to a man, then that man doesn't connected with you
in some emotional, mental, sometimes, you know, spiritual way.
and that's really what hurts.
I mean, don't get me wrong, too, you know.
Putting another p-a-k in your mouth hurts as well.
But I'm just saying it's the emotional connection
that really hurts as well.
I sent that video to my wife last night in the text,
and now did I think about it, I haven't spoken her since.
I sent it and went to sleep, so I don't even know if she saw it.
Well, yeah, well, what?
I went to sleep.
I mean, I would think, would you have a problem with that at all,
Jess, if, let's say your husband cheated
and it wasn't a connection.
Emotional or deep.
Yep.
Yes, I was still a problem with it.
I absolutely would have a problem with it.
I don't know many people that would have a problem with it.
Yeah, I'm not out here doing the same thing.
It sounds like Nikki got to be having her little passes too.
Like, you know, does the rules go the same for her?
Like, is her husband okay with her?
Just, you know, slashing and dashing.
Like, whatever.
I mean, smashing and dashing.
Like, you're just smashing somebody one night.
You never got to see him again.
There's no connection.
If both of them got that understanding, cool.
Me and Chris will never, ever have that understanding.
I don't even know if you're thinking that.
don't, you know what I'm saying?
Like, no, it'll never be nothing like that.
Because the other thing, too, is, you know, when you lay down with somebody physically,
it ain't just that.
Like, there's herpes out here.
There's HIV age still out here in these streets.
There's gonorrhea.
There's chlamydia.
There's just bad energy.
Like, we forget about these physically transmitted diseases.
There's a whole bunch of things that come down to it.
Now my peers balance all off because you out here just sleeping around.
Yeah.
Troy.
Yeah.
Hey, Troy.
What's your thoughts?
I think that.
there's such thing called empathy sex and like sad sex
and I've never left anybody first to you with sex
so I think it's food
so you don't care if a man has sex with other women
no
damn what's your Instagram you shut up but are you going to do the same thing
with yourself like if you see somebody are you able to have sex like that as well
um yeah I was guppy old big subpoenas I can
if I want to and it's my boyfriend
I do I want to like but if we have an agreement that he don't want to do that then I'm cool with that too
you don't know what you're doing you just out here giving it out she yeah that's an open relationship
that's what that is yeah she just out we're here hello hello who's this hi hi hi dj envy it's olivia
from long island how are you hey olivia from long island talk to us what's your thoughts um
first i just want to say hi to the whole breakfast club i love y'all so much i listen every day
but i just want to say i absolutely care about whether or not my husband
it's faithful to me.
I'm not married, but I've been with my spouse for 13 years and we'll be married next month, right?
Congratulations.
Thank you so much.
And congratulations to all of you.
Y'all doing big things.
I love y'all so much.
But, of course, I care about if you're faithful to me or not.
I mean, if you don't have not enough self-respect, not for me, but for yourself, about
discretion and being faithful and monogamous in your relationship.
You can't, you know, maintain, you know, your penis and keep your jump in your pants to show your commitment and your relationship.
Yes, I care.
I care about who you exchange in sexual, you know, your stuff with.
Are you crazy?
What's the point?
That's not a committed relationship.
Right.
That's something else.
That's an open marriage.
I mean, if that's what you, I mean, to each his own, you know, you dictate what you want in every relationship.
but I think that that's a setup
and then you can't get mad
when you invite all this other energy
in your relationship
all these other people
that creates problems
so now when things go to the left
who are you pointing fingers at
you invite to that
the older I get
the more I realize
how crazy sex is
like I don't think we realize
what we're doing when we having sex
we're actually getting naked
right
and you're letting somebody
lay on top of you, be inside of you.
You're going inside of somebody.
Just think about how intimate
sex and how vulnerable you are when you're having sex.
You ain't supposed to be out here just doing that
with any and everybody. Yeah, but it's like the thing,
yeah, you learn about sensual and you learn about sex and you learn about love when you get
a little older, right? Because you don't look at it the same way anymore.
But anybody that does not care if their spouse is
knocking off anybody else? I don't think they really love their spouse.
No, they don't really love their spouse. I'm going to be honest. I'm going to be honest.
Oh, they're knocking off somebody else too.
Oh, they have an old relationship.
Like, that's crazy.
Now, if you're just joining us, we open up the phone lines, 800-585-105-1.
We're talking about Nikki Glazier.
She was on the call her daddy podcast, and this is what she said.
A guy has a sexual connection with a girl, and, like, he was to use protection and just
have sex with her for a night.
Like, I don't, I literally wouldn't care if my husband did that.
I don't, I don't know why.
Emotional cheating would hurt me, but, like, physical.
I'm just like, I just feel like I understand how sex is for men most of the time outside
of relationship, it's just kind of transactional
and it's just like they just want to know.
I would always ask anyone I was with to be like,
if you develop feelings for the while,
tell me and we'll deal with it.
Like, I just don't want to be blindsided.
But if you want to have sex with someone else,
also tell me about it, because I want to like see
what she looks like and like ask you about it.
Now Jess said she would not have a problem
if a man stepped out.
Boy, what did you mean?
Don't ever play with me like that.
No, stupid.
No.
No.
He just out here, giving it out.
Stop playing.
No, I would have, I definitely would have a problem with that.
Mm-mm.
Then we go into the phone lines.
We have Maya on the line.
Maya, good morning.
Good morning.
How are y'all doing?
How are you feeling this morning, Maya?
I'm good.
I'm good.
What's your thoughts, Mama?
It didn't make no sense.
I was a living in Savannah.
I tell you this.
Woman who believes that they mind got to keep with out of people.
They know they and their mind's number one.
I know what they're trying to find it is.
So they believe when it's hard, okay, he could put other people as long as I got the mind.
You understand what I'm saying?
As long as she got the what?
Long as she has the mind.
Oh, you said, long as you got the mind.
I don't agree with that, man,
because that penis can get diseases.
Y'all will be saying as long as that person just got the mind,
but that penis can be out there sleeping with different women
and bringing you back yeast infections,
and then your pH balance all off.
Hello, who's this?
Shahi from Jersey City.
What's going on?
Shahi from Jersey City.
Talk to us.
What's your name?
Hi.
All right.
Peace.
Good morning, y'all.
Good morning.
Check it out.
Great.
So the lady's logic that she's doing.
is actually an oxymoron.
Me being someone who talks about relationships on the regular,
emotional cheating and physical cheating,
she has to understand if someone cheats physically,
that's going to turn into something emotionally eventually.
So to allow someone to go out and stew themselves across the world
and think that they're not going to find someone different is bananas.
A lot of times people start to share their opinions in certain places,
and their opinions become the gospel truth.
That's what we notice a lot of times.
Those truths then trigger people to believe what these people are talking about
without any concept of what they're talking about.
She's going off the narrative that men cheat,
just the cheat and women cheat emotionally.
That's the narrative that she's going off of.
Not understanding that men have emotions and feelings, too.
So depending on who he cheats with,
he will indefinitely have phyllis for that person.
It's a good point, my brother.
It's a good point.
I like the way you frame that because it is true.
Like she's looking at her.
She's looking at all men and generalizing all men like we don't make emotional connections with people.
Hello, who's this?
Is Eddie from Dayton?
Eddie from Dayton.
Talk to us.
What should have, Eddie?
Good morning, y'all.
First, out of honest, I never think it's a good idea to introduce somebody else into your relationship.
Women are always potential fatal attractions, especially when she's,
She knows she's the other woman.
Old girl can start off okay with it,
but it's not okay, you know, if it's good to her,
and she wants more, and she wind up, you know,
pulling up to her job or, you know,
she wind up with her pet bunny and a pot of boiling water.
Then it's a problem.
That's what happened when you get through the green light.
First of all, that sounded delicious.
A pet bunny in a pot of boiling water?
You ain't a high rabbit stew?
Yeah, but rabbit stew is five.
Gosh.
Yeah, not with the fur on it, bro.
Not with the fur on it, bro.
Yeah, yeah, you got to shave the fur off.
Oh, man, rabbit's too good.
Hell, you crazy.
Rabbits stew with mushrooms
and the little cut-up carrot.
Oh.
You ain't ever had Robbins?
Not when it's yours, bro.
Like, if it's your kids,
y'all ain't never see the movie.
But no, it's a dumb idea, man.
Like, keep other people out your relationship.
If you can,
if the sex was good enough to marry her,
it should be enough to be the only one you're banging.
I agree with you, brother.
Thank you, brother.
Thank you, brother.
What's the moral of the story if there is a moral?
I mean, I guess the moral of the story
is to each his own,
but I just want us to think about what sex is.
Like, sex is not something you just be out here
you know, passing out, like you're sharing cigarettes at work.
Like, like, think about the intimacy.
Think about how vulnerable you are.
When you butt-ass naked, you know, letting somebody get inside of you and sweat all over
you, like, no.
Like, and, and we talk about...
Like, no.
And then STDs, no, for real, but then STDs and everything.
Like, you're not just, you're not just going out here sleeping around.
And I love the point that the brother made earlier when he was like,
men make emotional connections too.
You sit there and think your man not making an emotional connection with a woman you bugging.
That's right.
Yeah, absolutely.
Maybe it was just the men that she didn't have that she felt like.
Maybe she'd been cheated on by all men.
That's true.
And they, those are the guys that don't make emotional connections.
They just have physical connections.
That's it.
Oh, like Charlomeney said earlier, maybe she realized she really don't love the man like she thinks she does.
That's true.
That's true, too.
All right.
Oh, and you know what else, man?
We've been gone for what?
Shoot.
Six days.
Actually, longer because you count the weekend.
Yeah, it was longer than that.
You count the weekend.
We've been gone for like 10 days.
I want to do people's donkey today.
I usually do people's donkey on Friday, but I got to catch up.
Because I don't know who y'all wanted me to give Donkey to throughout the week.
Like, I know the Poochishties and all of that stuff like that,
but I want to hear from people.
I want to hear who did I miss for Donkey last week that y'all want to me to give Donkey today to call up right now.
1-800-5-85-10-1.
It's the world's most dangerous morning to show the breakfast class.
Because I just want to say one thing.
I was mad at the shooting a Chick-fil-A.
How do you shooting Chick-fil-A?
Oh, I saw that.
Oh, my God.
That was crazy.
Not Chick-fil-A.
It ain't even caught the people yet.
Damn.
All right.
People's dog is going to happen in a little bit.
80058515105.105.
So this is a podcast about video games.
Kind of.
It's also about friendship.
Definitely.
And chaos.
Unavoidably.
Welcome to It's Dangerous to Go Alone.
A podcast where we talk games, culture, nostalgia, and immediately go off topic.
There is no gatekeeping.
There is no skill check.
If you win a game on Easy Mode, we support you.
If you've never touched a controller, honestly, same energy for some of us.
It's fun.
It's chaotic.
It's friendship with a loose gaming theme.
And somehow we keep getting away with it.
You should listen.
Stream it's dangerous to go alone on the free IHeartRadio app.
Or wherever you get your podcasts.
There's two golden rules that any man should live by.
Rule one, never mess with a country girl.
You play stupid games, you get stupid prizes.
And rule two, never mess with her friends either.
We always say that, trust your girlfriends.
I'm Anna Sinfield, and in this new season of the girlfriends...

For us, soccer, football, is a story we've shared for over.
30 years since Daniel was the star player on our high school soccer team.
Very debatable.
And I was their most loyal and sometimes only fan.
I love this game.
I love its history, it's hope, it's heartbreak, and above all, it's beauty.
Together, we'll find out why, of all the unimportant things, football, soccer, is the most important.
Listen to the away end with Daniel Auerkone and John Green on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
This is Julian Edelman, host of games with names.
On our latest episode, we got comedian, Blake Anderson from Workaholics and The Hilarious.
This is Important Podcast.
Let's go.
We did beat them in improv.
You had an improv against the team?
Yes.
We would pull up their schools would be there with signs for us.
It's competition.
What you would win is a bottle of gold slager.
James Fester threw it out of a van because he didn't want us drinking in.

One of the latest with Lauren is next.
Hey, I'm not dumbing myself down.
I'm being myself.
Take me through that.
I'm the homeguard that knows a little bit about everything and everything.
Lauren.
The little brown girls look at you and go, I want to be like you.
Take me through that, take me through that.
Where is she gone?
The latest with Lauren knows.
Take me through that.
On the breakfast club.
LL. Cool, babe.
Talk to me.
All righty y'all, I want to congratulate
the Breakfast Club because
there was news released
that Samba TV which is a TV
data analytics company has
their new inaugural Netflix
podcast rinker. Now on that podcast
ranger list there are a list
of top 20 podcasts on
Netflix and can you guys guess which podcast
is number one? Who?
The Breitface Club
Yos.
Thank you to all of youers by the way
for watching us on Netflix. We appreciate that.
Yes so this number
number one is number one by views and total minutes consumed.
And in the conversation around this list, if you go and read the article, Sampa TV is
basically talking about how the way that people view and consume podcasts in their living
room through Netflix is just chartering a whole new lane and we are breaking through in that.
And by the way, that's only on television.
That's not even including mobile phones.
Yes.
And just one other fun fact, Breakfast Club makes up 40% of all podcasts viewing on Netflix
for the first quarter.
I said 40% of all podcast viewing on Netflix.
I heard you a lot of clip.
I just want to throw that out there.
I know that's right.
Thank you to the viewers though.
We appreciate you.
We appreciate you.
Yes.
Yes.
Now shifting gears a bit, things that were viewed or went down over the break.
So Diddy, we've been talking a bit about the appeal that he was waiting to hear arguments on or his team was waiting to.
So that happened last week.
And just real quickly a summary of what went down.
So his team is basically arguing that he only acted in amateur or.
conducted amateur porn
that he was over sentenced with his 50 months,
right? Now, the prosecution
is saying, no, that's not what happened.
He was sentenced the way he should have been, and we actually took it
easy on him. But in the appeals
hearing, there is, it's the Second Circuit Court,
there's a panel of judges who are
rehearing this case, and I think they're
being fair on both sides. They're being tough on both the prosecution
and the defense, and they're
basically asking questions about a
guideline. So basically, there was a new guideline
that was established during the time that Diddy was in court.
This guideline would make it where,
any acquitted conduct. So you guys
remember the judge said that the court or the jury
could consider the force, the coercion, like all the violence, the cast of the video,
or whatever when they made their decision, right? So this guideline would make it where you're
not supposed to consider any of that because if you're acquitted of an act, you're acquitted
of conduct. Now the prosecution is saying the judge didn't ignore that guideline.
He just used it narrowly because they were originally
asking for a lot more time than what did he got. The defense is saying that's not true.
So now they're waiting and there has been no update. We're basically on a pill watch
the decision could come down any day.
So I've been reaching out to Diddy's team
like almost every morning to just see where
they are. But they think it'll happen somewhere
within a six-week range because it's expedited.
It's impossible for jurors not to consider that.
But you know, that's why back in the day when you were
on a jury, he wasn't supposed to watch TV,
you wasn't supposed to listen to the radio. And it probably was
way easier to do that. It's impossible now.
In the early 1900s.
It's impossible now. You need your phone for everything.
How can you escape it? I don't see how you can escape it.
Yeah. I mean, but even if you couldn't escape it,
just the conversation of everything you saw in court,
If you stayed off social media, everything you saw in court when it came to the violence and all that stuff,
they're trying to figure out whether or not that should be added in.
Yeah, so we'll keep you guys updated there.
And in other news, Remy Ma, Remy Ma dropped a new freestyle over the weekend.
Morning, Ramp.
I know y'all want to get into the salaciousness and all of the subliminals or whatever it is.
I'm just, just, Remy can rap.
I just like to hear Remy rap.
It just flows so well.
My God, it's effortless.
It's effortless with RIM.
What's up, Rem?
Yeah, so the name of the freestyle is W-Y-F-L-Y-U-F-N-L-Y-U-FN-Lion, out now on all platforms.
Hold on, but dropping a clue-ball for On the Radar.
I got Gabe.
Gabe, on the radar, yes.
Yep, yep.
Give Gabe his credit.
Always giving Gabe his credit.
Yes, Remy did do an on-a-radar as well after dropping the freestyle.
Now, get it into the freestyle, okay?
The line when Remy is talking about somebody writing.
Yep.
things and not being able to help themselves with helping everybody.
People are pointing out as a direct shot at Papoose.
There's a line about, you know, being a baddie but not being bad enough and, you know,
wanting to copy certain things.
People are pointing that that may be a direct shot at Clarissa Shields.
And yeah, I mean, now the internet is debating whether or not, who responds, Papoose or Clarissa?
What a song is called, Why Are You Effing Lion?
You know what I'm saying?
And she's been quiet for a while.
She ain't been saying nothing.
And so she just been sitting back letting people speak on her.
even when they ain't post you or whatever.
You know what I'm saying?
And this is where she dropped, straight out the gate.
Why you have her lines?
You know, Pap always just, he just always wishes her the best.
Like, that's all you ever hear Pap say when he does.
Yeah, that's all you over here.
Yeah, but to Justice's point, though,
Remy has never come out and addressed the fact that there were,
the work claims made that he wrote certain things,
which is a, I mean, they went back and forth on live,
but that's like a big knock to, you know, what Remy has happened.
So this is her clearing that up.
And I just know Remy's a gifted rapper, but I love him.
I love hearing Remy Remy Rapper.
She gets busy.
I can't wait to her project.
And that's a, it's a rhythm.
It's a W-Y-F-L rhythm.
So it's a reggae beat that everybody's rocking on.
So that's why it plays off of that.
Yeah.
Okay.
I did see.
I don't even know if we have time to play this,
but I saw that Pap did Vlad,
and Vlad had asked him about the whole Clarissa Remy.
I don't know if they ever get away from this also, too.
Everywhere they go.
Let's take a listen.
Remy accuses you of cheating with Clarissa Shields.
And she had posted some text messages and so forth as proof.
When did you and Clarissa actually.
actually meet.
Me and Carissa met July,
2024, Blad.
We met at the Shikors' Stevenson, New Jersey, right?
But the next day after we met,
we talked through the DM, and she said,
hey, great, it was great meeting, you Papoose.
But you know, when you talk to a DM,
what does it have on you, Blad?
Time stamp in the day.
You know, like I said, nothing bad to say about her,
you know what I mean, I wish her the best.
But there are people on social media
who push these false narratives about,
oh, they've been together, and this and that,
You know why we won't ever get past that
because of people like Lauren La Rosa.
Oh my God.
We could have just left to that rim
but she didn't want to be messy
and bring that in, you know what I'm saying?
Even though Pap has every right
to clean up whatever narratives is out there
but still we didn't have to connect that just now
but Lauren did that.
Yo, Rim, that was Lauren.
She's watching the show and she's listening.
Good morning, Rema.
I think she might need another pressing
because I think she might need a real pressing
rum.
Presser.
Yeah, right?
You get her a little light.
Rempe told me she's changed. She's a CEO. She doesn't do that anymore. She said you need to shut your bitch ass up. She was looking for you too. She said she was going to take your jacket. I didn't think you've done anything wrong up here. Now she wasn't in my jacket. She was saying she was going to take it but that she forgot. She forgot. She said she was going to take it but she forgot. She was going to play. She was going to play. She was going to play. She was playing. She can't run faster to me. She can't run. She can't run. I don't believe that. I don't believe Remedy. Nah, but the song is a bop though. The be hard. Her boss is hard. She sound like she never left. I'm
You don't have a clean version?
We should.
We had to cut it from something.
I got a clean version.
I got a clean version.
All right.
Well, that is the latest with Lauren.
Now, who are you giving your donkey to?
Listen, we've been gone for a whole week, right?
Yes.
So there was a lot of people folks wanted to give donkeys today to.
So I say, man, open up the phone lines and let people call in and catch us up.
Catch us up to speed, okay?
Because I've lost track of all the people y'all wanted me to give don't you
to last week.
So just call in right now, 1-800-585-105-1.
And we'll let you give people donkey here today.
Catch us up to speak.
All right.
It's the breakfast club.
Good morning.
It's your time to nominate a donkey of your own.
Remember how that's how they choose.
Call in now.
800-585-105-1.
Yes, donkey today for Monday, April 13th.
It's going to whoever y'all wanted to go to.
See, I usually do the people's donkey on Friday,
but we were off all last week.
A lot has happened, so we need to catch up.
I lost track of all the people y'all wanted me to give donkey to last week,
So I'm giving you all an opportunity to call in and get us up to speed.
So good morning.
This is Shaquieu.
Shaquieu.
Who you want to get the biggest e-haught to with Shaquieu?
Charlemagne.
Yes, sir.
He want to give it to you.
Oh, you want to give it to me.
Okay, go ahead.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
I was watching a podcast, and I want to know why your mouth moves like that when you say yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo.
I think he flirting.
Why you can't my mouth moves, sir.
Hello?
Don't try to laugh it off now.
You think I'm cute, don't you?
Calling up here early in the morning
worrying about why another man,
how another man mouth moved.
That's crazy.
Anything else?
No, that's all bad ass.
Oh, my God.
He's lushing.
He waited the whole week for that one.
Yes.
Now, listen, don't spot this because we've been gone all week.
And as I just said, a lot happened,
so I want to catch up.
Good morning.
Who's this?
Shemika.
Shemika.
Who you want to get the biggest he-haught to, Shemika?
I want to get the biggest he-haar to NBA.
young boy's affiliates and j prince jr. I'm calling from
Detroit by the way. They had an altercation over the weekend
with the local Detroit rapper in Houston and they tried to rob
it. It was like eight people jumping him and they tried to rob him of his
chain and he got a hold of one of their guns and he was able to
get them off of him and now one of them ended up in the hospital.
Now who are you now who are you
you're using this now?
No, it's a video.
Oh, it's a video.
I don't know what you.
I've seen the headlines,
but I really don't know what you're talking about,
so I don't want you calling up here
putting accusations on people who are.
Okay, allegedly.
I'll put allegedly.
Oh, okay, okay.
Well, thank you for calling.
All right, you're welcome.
Good morning.
Who's Dee from Brooklyn?
What's up?
Dee from Brooklyn.
Who you want to get a biggest he hard, too?
Yeah, I'm going to give it to push his dad.
Ooh, okay.
Now that's a good one.
Tell me why.
You mean why.
I mean, think about it.
I want you to tell.
I know why, but you go ahead.
Talk.
All right.
Because, listen, we as fathers, because I'm a father myself, we as fathers over to our children to guide them in the right direction, no matter how old they are.
This man just came out of prison.
And the first thing you say to your son is, hey, let's do this to an exec.
You didn't even say to yourself.
You wouldn't do it to a white exec.
That's right.
And now all of a sudden you're going to do this to this man.
And that just, that makes no sense whatsoever.
And it's just like you said, that Edward logic.
But even you as a father should like, you know, cut through that inward logic and be able to guide him in the right direction.
I agree with you 100%.
It makes no sense.
It don't make any sense.
It's the blind leading the blind.
And we wonder why we can't break generational curses.
Because if you love your son and you see the opportunity that's presented to your son,
and you see how your son has the opportunity to change everything about your bloodline,
you're just going to bring him back to what got him, what just got him out of prison?
he just went the prison for that
and you're going to take him right back to that
now he's back in there and you win him
that's crazy to me
yeah man
thank you for calling brother
thank you all right
allegedly uh but but that's all
I just wanted to catch us up to speed on
on last week's donkeys man
all right now when we come back
crystal Renee Hayeslett will be joining us
so don't move is the breakfast club good morning
morning everybody is DJ NVJ
JLarius Sholomey and the Guy
we are the Breakfast Club Long Lawn LaRose is here as well
We got a special guest in the building.
Who we got? Who we got?
Crystal Renee Haysley.
Welcome.
Good morning, Crystal.
Good morning, everybody.
How are you feeling?
Good.
Bless Black and Hollyfish.
Listen, amen to that, Charlott, man.
You always hustling.
You got a new head can line, unapologetic?
Yes, yes.
Unapologetic is a launch that I'm doing with ORS.
I'm just excited, man.
This has been a year-long journey getting it right, and we're here finally.
Why have the name unapologetic?
Honestly, it was so long that it.
it took me to actually embrace my hair and really understand what worked for it, you know?
And I talk about this story.
One day, I face-time my dad like every day.
And any girl who has natural hair knows by day five is like a big fro.
Looks a little crazy.
But most of the people like, when you think it's crazy, it's time to watch, like, oh, my God, I love your hair.
My dad answers the phone.
He goes, what is wrong with your hair?
And I said, oh, my gosh.
I was like, Dad, I was like, do you know how long it's taking black women to actually embrace
their hair. And I was like, and how many women
would literally cut off their left foot to have this much
hair on their head? And I was like,
this is why women go to resort to the
perm to resort to other hair styles.
And he was like, I never thought about that.
And in that moment, it allowed me to
become more unapologetic and just really
own it. And that's why we did unapologetic.
I love me. Yeah. You work with a black female
chemist. I did. Yeah, that was important.
Listen, she's so good.
That was important because
understanding our hair textures, you know, and
we got in there and I was trying a different
products, making sure they mix together.
I've been doing my hair of myself since the third grade.
And then I went natural in 2010.
So I used to be in the kitchen doing YouTube videos, making some avocado
mass for my hair, trying to really take care of it.
So when I went in there, I already knew like, okay, I can't mix this together because
it's going to leave flakes on my hair the next day.
I wanted to make sure that it was right for all hair types.
Because you go to these, you go to the shelves and it says all hair cuter types, and it
ain't for all times.
That's why I got on the hat today.
Still trying to find. So unapologetic,
I'm going to be calling you. I brought you something.
Thank you. You got to call. I got you.
Thank you. I got you.
Do you feel like you're having to prove yourself a third time?
You had to prove yourself as a stylist. You had to prove yourself as an actress.
Now you've got to prove yourself as a hair care professional?
You feel like you're having to prove yourself a third time?
It's not proving Charlemagne. It's more so just stepping into spaces I'm passionate about
and making sure that I have the signs to back it up.
So then when we do put it on the shelves, there's nothing to prove the same.
science speaks for itself.
Yeah, so I don't feel like I'm proven, but we definitely
gonna show up. I think a lot of time, I don't think men
respect it, like your father didn't, until
they got to deal with it, right?
When I had to take my daughter's to dance,
and I ain't know what the hell I was doing,
and I was trying to comb, and it was going left,
and I was trying to make it go right, and you know,
a dance, you got to have a slick back, and
that's, and my daughter's hairs is curly,
and my wife's trying to tell me what to do.
And you don't want to hurt them when you combing their hands.
Oh, my God.
I don't think you really, I don't think you're really,
I don't think.
you understand until you got to do that.
Because I ain't know what it was.
Then my wife told me, go to CBS and get this product.
And then there was no products for, it was difficult.
Yeah.
It was difficult.
Because it was no products for us.
Like, black and brown.
Not at all.
So it was very, very difficult.
So when I was going to say, so when you got the chemist, how does that work?
I've always been pretty curious about that.
Like, how do you decide what's going to work for what type of hair?
Yes.
Do you try it immediately?
Because you can try some shit and just fuck your hair up immediately.
Right.
So what is that process?
That's a great question, Envi.
So the lab was actually in Chicago.
Namaste Labs, which is where ORS, their offices are.
So we go to the lab.
They had already started working on some products.
So I literally went in there with a dollhead, a wighead,
and started using the products on it to see how it worked.
And I'm the type of person I can fill it until up.
This doesn't have enough slip on it.
I need some more water to this.
This is too thick.
So when I started trying now, I was like, all right, we need this.
It mixes well, but I feel like we need a little more activated with the gel
to really make the curls pop.
and so I went home
I was so excited y'all
I was like I'm gonna do a YouTube video
just showing the people to process
listen y'all I put that stuff on my hair
it didn't do what this is doing
I was like
yeah this ain't it
so we literally had to go back to the drawing board
saying hey we need to add more water
we need more nutrients some oil I need to shine
I need some more thickness to this
I was like I'm not a moose girl
you know big fella big west back here
he just to add water
he can throw some water on it and some moots can be fine
I need the gel and the moose and the leave-in.
And so figuring out all the products that you can work together.
But it did not work that first time.
And we had to go back to it and get it right.
I love that you're so hands-on.
Yeah.
Jess, I'm so big on making sure that whatever I put my name and my face on.
A lot of people are just like, oh, yeah, figure it out and I'll just throw my face on it.
No, like, whatever I put, I need to believe in it.
It doesn't matter.
Even if you call me for a brand partnership, if I don't eat it, if I don't use it,
if it's not something that fits into my everyday life that I can really get into.
I can't put my name behind it.
So this is something serious because what you're putting on your head is seeking into your body.
I had to make sure that it was clean.
I had to make sure that it worked.
You know, it's interesting.
I say that to my daughters all the time.
I always say, I'm always, I don't know why, but I always tell them that they got beautiful skin and beautiful hair.
Yes, that's important.
That's important.
That's important.
That's important.
They go out into the world and they don't always feel beautiful or seen.
So the fact that you're instilling that at home is very, very important.
Kudos to you for that.
And why did you partner with an ORS?
Wow.
So this actually started off as a brink.
Grand Partnership. A lot of us are influencers
and people call us to get
behind their products. They
had called us to do a reel, just a
Instagram reel because they saw me doing my hair.
They're like, oh, she'd be great for this product. And Ashana
Ayers being who she is.
She was like, yeah, we're not interested in selling
squares on Instagram.
Let's build a line. And they were like,
actually, we do have a new line that is
in ideation. And Crystal
would actually be perfect for it. So it turned
from a reel on Instagram to
building a line, having equity in the company.
and really building something bigger than what it could have been if we had to just,
you're like, oh, yeah, we'll do the Instagram post.
So that is why O-Rs because they wanted to initially work with me.
But if you think about it, I'm not sure if you guys remember,
they still have it, the green olive oil oil shaming back in the day.
Like, this is that company.
They're known for perms.
They're known for their relaxers, but now they're branching off into the natural hair space.
So to be a part of that growth for them is important for me.
Cardi was just talking about that with her brands
and a lot of the brands that she's working with
by being in a celebrity space
like trying to build something that she can give
to her kids, like builds legacy
and her decision to start doing that.
Yes, so important.
Ownership is everything and you can't build legacy
without ownership, you know,
because you can do something,
but if it's not yours,
there's nothing to pass down.
So I think that's very important.
I love what Cardi's doing
and a lot of people talk about
how saturated this space is,
but I feel like it's so much room for everybody.
Right.
Yeah.
Especially because not every
black girl's hair is the same as the next
you know so I think
it should be more you know
just speaking to that too
because a lot of the curly girls are
biracial they have like a different type of texture
than the real black girl yes so that
was important to me too to show like hey you may
not have that texture
you know and sometimes it's like I wish my hair was like
that no your hair is beautiful
and with the right products you can have your curls too
we all have different curls you know
but to be able to be unapologetic
about it and own it was a big part
of it and that's a big part why I wanted to do this too
because I don't have the biracial
hair I have like
real
What do you mean real black girl?
What do you mean real black girl?
It's a different charlay
It's a big difference
We have something for them too
They can use the moose
You know
Like it's for everybody
But also for the girls who don't feel seen
In that space where they put stuff in their hair
And it ain't doing what it need to do
Yeah
I'm glad that we're having the texture conversation
A lot of us be scared to have it
And I don't know why
Because the textures are different
They are
Yeah, it's like an elephant in the room
Yeah, but why though?
It's very obvious when your texture is different
than the other end
We went through that whole era of good hair, bad hair
Remember when Chris Brock did the whole thing
And people were trying to have the conversation in
But now I just feel like, especially with beauty
brand owners, they never actually get into textures
And the difference between them
And why there's like stigmas and like the
Almost like the battle in between the textures
Yeah
I think probably because, you know, people, you don't offend anybody, you know, but it is like, it's the reality of it.
You know, and I think as hair care owner is just making sure that we have something for everybody.
Yeah.
Is it true?
Is it true if you lose your curls, it's hard to get them back?
You got to cut it off.
It's so hard, especially for heat damage.
I've done the big chop like three times.
Really?
Heat damage, because I go through these things where I want my hair straight, you know, but I don't want to put a permanent.
So I'm constantly putting heat on it.
my hair by the time like day three of just putting heat on it
I can already see the curl pattern loosening up
so I've had to do the big shot because it'll grow back but it's coming from the root
so you got to get all the damaged hair off so it can really flourish
and make a conscious decision I'm not going to put heat on it
gotcha and how often do you have to I guess maintain your hair to make sure those curls stay
yeah honestly I do like weekly deep conditions and that's another thing with natural
girls like especially my type of hair I have to condition my hair because it gets
dry fast. I have to use a lot of oils to
get it shiny because, you know, your daughter, her
hair is naturally shiny. It's got
that luster. Ours, we've got to add something
to it. So for me,
at least once a week, I'm deep conditioning,
making sure I'm giving it that extra care that it needs.
How long?
Because people don't understand, the natural
hair journey, like styling it, whatever,
that stuff takes hours and your hair
is long and thick and it's thick.
How long does it take for you?
I've gotten it down now, girl. I can wash
and have it
like wash in style
because I shingle my hair
I section off
and like literally have to pull it
with the gel
together to make the curls pop
and that takes about
an hour and a half
and then I sit down the dry
and kind of let it set
because it takes forever
for my hair to dry too.
Yeah.
Like if I don't let it
if I let it air dry
it'll take two days
for my hair to dry
because it's so thick.
Yeah.
But you got it down
in 90 minutes?
Yeah.
I mean that's how long
it take me
with this little bit of shit
girl.
Can you see?
But you did me?
But you knew
with a journey
you're not to see.
You're new in your journey, though.
I am, you know, and so it still takes me some time.
It's been years of me, like, figuring this out.
16 years.
Yeah, so that's how you got it down to see.
Yeah, so I've been doing this for a long time.
How do you think you've been able to establish the connection with the audience that you have, Crystal?
Because, like, your podcast, keep your positive, sweetie.
Everybody loves your podcast.
Like, how do you think you've been able to establish that type of real connection with you?
Yeah, I think just putting it all out there, Charlemagne, being who I am, I think for so long,
and for a lot of us, we live so much of our life in the light.
We want to keep certain things to ourselves.
We don't want to show.
the hidden areas, the dark areas, the pits, you know what I'm saying?
The heaviness of it all.
But when you share it and let people know, hey, I'm just like you.
You know, we all going through our thing.
We fight in our own demons.
And when you put it out there, for me, that was the moment I realized there's nothing to be ashamed of.
Let them know, share those stories.
And that is how we build this community just through being authentic and being intentional about
storytelling and sharing my truth.
Yeah.
Yeah, to keep your positive, sweetie girls, going to eat this up.
Listen, they are.
Girl, they was out last night.
They had found the, because we were doing, like, testing on the site.
They already went through the site, figured out where it was.
And, like, it's saying sold out.
We're like, because it's not up yet.
They were already trying to figure it out.
But, yeah, they were up this morning waiting for 9 a.m. to hedge.
That's such a blessing.
Are you going to have a booth at the Black Effect podcast festival?
Telling Unapologetic Air?
Yes.
I'm trying to say yes.
I cannot wait for that.
Thank you so much.
I'm excited, even to be a part of the family,
but really excited to bring Qipa Posituita to the.
festival. Yeah, Crystal will be doing her podcast. Keep it positive,
sweetie at the Black Effect Podcast Festival in Atlanta on April 25th.
And now you heard she'll have the unapologetic hair booth out there selling
product, too. You film it for season five of the team.
That was rumored. Is it coming up in two weeks? Rumor has it. I don't know if I can't even.
Oh, my gosh.
Rumor has it.
But I'm working. I'm working. I'm working.
Always. I got a lot of stuff coming. I did a movie with Courtney Glade last summer.
Just found out that it's going to theaters, AMC.
Nice. Congratulations.
We'll definitely be back to talk about that.
Something completely different than what you've seen with Fatima.
I got stretched in this one, so I'm super excited about that.
Yeah, I got some short films.
We're actually going to be showing that in Martha's Vineyard.
So we're doing a screening for it just so people can come see it.
So if you're all in town, please pull up.
Yeah.
We're doing all the things.
What else we got going on?
Oh, yeah, when you talked about, regular labels, I have music coming out too.
Ashana really makes me do everything.
That's good.
Wink, if you need help getting out.
It's weird if you put too much pressure on you, we need help you get out.
We help you get out.
No, she's a superstar.
No, she's good.
We do it everything.
I feel like it's time, though.
You know, we're in 10 seasons of sisters,
and I feel like that maybe, hopefully it continues to go.
But I feel like now was the time to go ahead and start, like,
venturing off into other spaces.
So I was like, I did call it one day.
I was like, I'm ready to do.
I think we were in D.C. doing a live show in November,
and I was singing other people's songs.
And I was like, it's time for some original music.
So we've been working on music for like a year now
And yeah
We're talking with some labels
Trying to figure the distribution out
But they're working
No days off literally
For a lot of people who would have all that going on
It would feel so disjointed
And all over the place
But like yours like flows
Because that
He mentioned your audience
Your community is like
Diled into so many parts of your life
Like when we did the live conversation
On Finland I see
Yes
There were girl
Let me tell you all
They were having panels
all throughout the weekend.
Her panel sold it out.
I mean, people were on floor.
They were waiting for like almost an hour plus
to get into the panel that she did.
They came with their own merch, her face.
And I mean, her as Crystal,
the Tina stuff,
like all different phases of her life
on their shirts, generations.
It was moms, daughters,
grandmothers.
Like, I've never,
in the podcast world,
I'm, you know,
I've never seen anything like that.
Her impact.
And I told you then, like,
yo, this is crazy.
Like, the way that they are about you,
so you have that community
where you can kind of throw all this stuff
out there,
make sense. Yeah, and it's crazy because I
had sent a song that I did to Tyler
and he was like,
we got to put this on Zetema. So like, everything
kind of like flows into every avenue
that I'm doing. I'm like, yeah,
that makes sense.
Yeah, you're right. It just, they pick up on
everything and it's so many generations.
It's a blessing for real.
Because you just never know
who your story's going to touch.
Unapologetic product. Tell them what to get it again.
Right now, you can get it at ORS.com.
You can get on Amazon. It's Oscar.
going to be in stores soon.
So keep looking out.
We're going to be doing pop-ups.
I'm going to take the podcast on a live tour while we're jumping to different cities.
We're also going to be doing pop-ups with the hair.
So, yeah, get ready.
This summer's going to be crazy.
I'm excited.
But sell it out, y'all.
Go get it for your daughters, your mother's, your boyfriends.
Everybody is for everybody.
Yeah.

Oh my God, this is the same man.
A group of women discover they've always...
all dated the same prolific con artist.
I felt like I got hit by a truck.
I thought, how could this happen to me?
The cops didn't seem to care.
So they take matters into their own hands.
They said, oh, hell no.
I vowed.
I will be his last target.

all leading up to the 2026 World Cup.
For us, soccer,
Football is a story we've shared for over 30 years since Daniel was the star player on our high school soccer team.
Very debatable.
And I was their most loyal and sometimes only fan.
I love this game.
I love its history, it's hope, its heartbreak, and above all, its beauty.
Together, we'll find out why, of all the unimportant things, football, soccer, is the most important.

The Breakfast Club, good morning.
Lauren becoming a straight fit.
Tell her, maybe.
She gets them from somebody that knows somebody.
She gets the detail.
I'm the home girl that knows a little bit about everything.
She'd be having the latest on this.
The latest with Lauren La Rosa.
Sometimes you have facts, sometimes you have detail,
sometimes you have a little bit everything.
Well, it's the latest.
Brought to you by Top Dog Law.
On the Breakfast Club.
Talk to me.
So coach.
Weekend 1 is going down in Coachella over in California.
And everybody's over there.
I mean, you got Tiana Taylor walking around looking like a gift from God.
She looks so good.
I saw Lizzo got flew out to Coachella by Paris Hilton.
And when you Harlow was on that plane as well, too.
Northwest, Kim Kardashian and Louis Hamilton walking around.
But Allset also was there following the shooting that happened while we were out on break.
And this is his first performance.
He literally pulls up on the Coachella stage.
in a wheelchair.
And he performs and the crowd goes crazy.
He has a mask on.
But following his performance,
his mom posted a video just talking about
how much of a miracle it was even see him perform.
Let's take a listen.
Six days ago, my son was shot.
Four days later, he was released from the hospital.
Last night, he was on a stage
doing what he loves to do.
He is a miracle walking.
That is God's grace.
That is God's mercy.
He loves us all and he loves us best.
To every person who reached out, prayed, called, text, or send a message, thank you.
In the middle of everything, I left my personal phone at home.
If I haven't responded to you directly, please know it was not intentional.
Your kindness meant everything to me.
We love Chiari.
We love all of you.
May God continue to keep us all.
Yeah, I feel the same way.
God bless us all that, man.
You know, because we hear every day we hear about somebody getting shot, getting killed,
for him to just have a wound,
was in his leg or something like that?
I don't even think we know, right?
Yeah, we don't know.
There were reports circulating that it was in the butt,
but offset cleared that up and said it wasn't there.
But nobody wanted to take nothing in the butt.
Man, just saying, he was shot in the butt.
You'll get out your house with a bit of black.
You don't get out if you're in a cold now, wake up.
Tell them, niggas, I ain't get shot in the butt now.
I got shot, but, hey, I ain't take nothing in the butt.
Lord, how mercy.
And it's not Lauren said it, too.
They said it was in the butt.
Like, just say it was an anal shooting.
That's worse.
Yeah, definitely said the a little offset, though, man.
Slutoffset.
I'm glad you well, my brother.
Yeah, yep.
And then also two performing,
Swait Lee performed.
I know he was just here.
And they cut his set before he could do Black Beatles.
And he was trying to get to it.
But the time, and they cut his set.
So he says that he promises it will happen his second week of performing at Coachella.
And Justin Bieber had a performance that a lot of people are talking about.
Yes.
Yeah.
So during Justin Bieber's performance,
he has like a screen behind him
and he's literally on YouTube
bringing up old videos of his like old performances
and it's like he's kind of like singing and talking to his younger self
let's take a listen to Justin Bieber performing with you
Hey hey I'm going to young girl no
one else to do with every kiss and every heart
you make me fall in love with now
no I can't be the only one
I bet there's a song of the world tonight
with the love of their life will feed
Yeah, so a lot of his long-time fans were posted.
I saw Lizzo post too, just about how nostalgic it was and how good it felt.
It takes you back to your childhood and, you know, just watching him sing to himself
before he was like super big and discovered after everything that he's going through publicly.
It's just a good feeling.
I heard Katie Perry say this and I thought it the same way, if I would have did that, it would have
been mad commercials in my YouTube because I'm too cheap to pay the diversion for premium version.
So he was able to go to his YouTube
Because it would have been commercial
He was doing it off YouTube
He was pulling it up, yeah
He was pulling it up on YouTube
It was just him and his laptop there
So he would find his video
Play the video
And then he performed with it
And then go to the next one
It was pretty dope
For some of those people
I thought that was though
Beber was a whole era
Okay
Like I was a teenager
Loving him
Still is though
Yeah
Yeah yeah yeah
But you know
His early hits and everything
I just loved
His whole little
Slots show that he had
I mean his videos
His video was his presentation
Because that's the one thing
People can never say
about Justin Beaver, right?
Like, you know, we've seen ups and downs
in his personal life.
But professionally, Beba has always
come through a good music.
Yes.
Even when he got older,
he always came through a good record.
He brought out Tim's and WizKitt, too,
on the stage to do when his movie hits.
Yeah, we have some audio from that.
Then we got Whizkid in the house.
Where's he had?
Was my birthday.
It's running.
Yeah, man, that was dope.
Hey, listen, man, Justin Beeble's a good human.
You know what I'm saying?
Salute to that young man.
Proud of everything that he's,
he's overcome.
And been able to sustain for so long.
I think people forget that.
That was a good reminder.
Young Thug was there too.
He called out Tiana Taylor.
He says he wanted her to style her.
She's style him, but she's been busy.
Yeah.
So far, it's kicked off pretty well, Coachella.
But shifting gears a bit,
I've released the interview on the latest
with Lauren La Rosa, the podcast over the break,
that I feel like still needs some more attention.
So there's been a series of young women
that have been going missing,
women's in Delaware.
and y'all know I talk a lot about Delaware
and it's heartbreaking because a lot of the media coverage there
is just not there like I've been trying to keep up with the girls
one of them was missing literally like a few blocks away from where my niece lives
right she's 19 years old her name is Aisha Benthoudifa
I did an in-depth interview with her mother just talking about
what the police have not done and just some of the issues she's been having
she's out here every day I call and talk to her
she's literally breaking indoors herself whenever she gets tips
because she's not in the best communication with the police department
And I reached out to the police department there
who really couldn't tell me much.
But the interview was live on the Breakfast Club's YouTube channel
and on my YouTube channel as well to Lauren La Rosa TV
and on the podcast.
But I really want you guys to go listen to it
because she's not just talking about her baby,
which is so selfless in this moment.
She's talking about the other young girls now
that she's found out.
There's like a group of moms now
who are trying to bring their babies home.
And she's been missing for almost two months now.
I'm glad you did that because, you know,
black women and girls are disproportionately
affected by disappearances.
They make up 35% of missing persons.
in cases, but they only compromised 40% of the female population,
and they get significantly less media attention and resources
when it comes to investigations.
Because, you know, we did, I did a project, you know,
a few years ago called Finding Tamika with Erica Alexander,
and she was talking about Tamika Houston who went missing in South Carolina
in the early 2000s, and that's when I learned so much about the plight
of missing black women and girls in this country.
It's really an epidemic.
You know, it's crazy when I was reaching out to try and get information
from the Women's and Police Department,
I couldn't get in contact with anybody
for a couple weeks.
That's what held up me
released an interview.
And then when I finally got in contact
with someone because I called the mayor's office,
they were like, oh, you were just being given
the wrong person to contact.
And I'm like for two weeks, though.
So imagine what, and I only called the mayor's office upset.
Like, I'm about to put this on record
and you guys don't even say anything to me.
So imagine what a mom is going through.
And the police department apologized to me,
but like, you know, these girls are still missing.
So I want to salute to the Black and Missing Foundation, man.
They do fantastic work.
You can go to black and missing ink.com.
They're actually a foundation that was kind of established
because of what happened with Tamika Houston
in the early 2000s.
But literally, this is the work that they do.
You should have got in contact with them.
I was trying to.
I text you.
You didn't respond.
But I did use some of their information
to provide the basis for our interview.
And I told her about the organization.
She would love to get in contact with them.
She just needs more hands on the ground
because she's doing this all by herself.
You said I didn't respond.
I did respond.
I told you that you should reach out
to the Black and Missing Foundation.
I asked you to connect.
We're not going to do this on air.
You got your own connection.
You call everybody.
We're not going to do this on air.
You told me that you had a person I should talk to.
Okay.
Yo.
Hey, yo.
Hey, yo, Sean.
You chill.
If somebody gets shot, she can reach out to who had the gun, but she can't reach out to the Black and Mithin Foundation.
That was my fault.
Now, all of a sudden, she need me.
All right.
All right.
Well, we're going to keep it positive.
And Ms. Lovie, Miss Lovette, who is the mother of Aisha.
I told her that would be connecting her with anyone I could.
So we will be doing that.
that I'm in interviews live and as we
wrap I know envy you have something amazing
that you're doing for TSA agents at
the American Dream mall coming up
salute to all the TSA agents we teamed up with
American Dream the Water Park and the Nickelodeon
Park I know the last two weeks has been spring break
and I know TSA agents haven't been paid
so we've been trying to figure out a way that we can
give back legally where they don't
get in trouble and I spoke to
Stacey Wade which is the union rep and the vice
president Kyle Pagot
and we spoke about doing something special at
the mall which we will so April 20th through
24th at the Waterpark and Nickelodeon Park,
all the TSA agents that work in New York,
New Jersey, Connecticut, and Philly will be able to bring their family
to those parks for absolutely positively free.
It's a four-pack of tickets.
So once again, April 20th, the 20th to the 24th,
we are giving back to the TSA agents.
It's only right.
They do so much to keep us safe
to make sure those lines are running fast
and to make sure that there are no problems in those airports.
So we just want to say thank you.
You guys are being treated dirty and horribly.
And we just want to give you hopefully a little bit of a stress reliever.
So salute to American Dream, Don, Ellie, Keisha, Adam.
Thank you for doing this with us.
And, yeah, American Dream is riding for the TSA agents.
So all TSA agents, talk to your union leaders.
We spoke to them yesterday, and they will give you what you need to get.
And I just want to say thank you.
So salute to all the TSA agents out there all.
That's so far, Amy.
That's dope.
Yep.
But now let's get to the mix.
That's the latest with Lauren.
It's brought to you by who?
Top Dog Law.
Any accident, big or small called Top Dog Law.
Let's get to the mix.
It's the Breakfast Club.
Good morning.
Morning everybody is DJ NVV.
Jess Hilary is Charlemagne the guy.
We are the Breakfast Club.
Again, I want to salute to all the TSA agents.
All week long, we were trying to figure out what we can do to try to help the TSA agents any which way.
So salute to Stacey Wade.
She's a union rep for the TSA agents.
And salute to the vice president of the union, Kyle Pagat.
I got on the phone with them.
And we came up with this plan where, of course, the TSA agents had to work.
They didn't have a spring break.
They didn't get a chance to take their kids.
So we partnered up with the American Dream Mall and all the TSA agents that work in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Philly.
From April 20th to the 24th, they are allowed to bring a family members, a four pack of family to the mall for absolutely positively free.
I know that they couldn't go anywhere for spring break.
I know they were having money problems.
But for that week, April 20 to the 24th, they could bring their kids, they could bring their spouses, they could bring their family to the American Dream War, whether it's the Waterpark and they're going to.
Nickelodeon for absolutely positively.
I'm like, I thought the mall was free already.
What you mean like that?
I'm like, what the hell?
I'm like the amenities to get, you mean like the amusement parks?
Oh, okay, okay.
You just said the mall.
No, no, no, no, no, no, no.
No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, for the water park and Nickelodeon Park.
So that way they can, they don't have to spend that money.
So, so the money that, you know, that's cool.
When they finally do get paid, that's one thing that they don't have to worry about.
So if they got kids or family, they want to take it to the water park or Nickelodeon Park,
April 20th through the 24th.
So, salute.
to Don, Ellie, Keisha, and Adam.
So all the TSA agents, if you are listening,
your union reps have everything that you need.
We spoke to all the union reps,
because I wanted to make sure we did it right
without getting in trouble
because you hear everybody getting in trouble
by trying to give it back.
So I actually had to speak to the union reps
to make sure that they were good to do this.
So how do you prove you a TSA rep?
You got to show your badge or something?
No, so the union member,
so each airport has their own union member.
So we gave them the actual card,
so the union member will give them cards
so they can actually go.
That's dope.
We had to get that down.
So salute to American Dream, Don, Ellie, Keisha, Adam for riding out with us.
And salute to all the TSA agents.
We appreciate you guys so much.
And y'all getting the bad end of the stick when it comes to things.
So I just want to say salute to you guys.
That's what I mean.
You've been trying to do something for the TSA agents for like the last few months.
So that's really good.
Yeah, we've been on the phone, but I didn't want to do nothing where it was like Tyler Perry
where they can't take it or they get in trouble or something like that happened.
So we had to go through the proper procedures to make sure it was right.
So again, salute to all the TSA agents.
and thank you American Dream.
Now, Jess doesn't want to come back to work.
