Hello, America's sweetheart Johnny Knoxville here. I want to tell you about my new true crime podcast, Crimeless, Hillbilly Heist, from smartless media, campside media, and big money players. It's a wild tale about a gang of high-functioning nitwits who somehow pulled off America's
Starting point is 00:00:54 third largest cash heist. Kind of like Robin Hood, except for the part where he's still. Gills from the rich and gifts to the poor, I'm not that generous. It's a damn near inspiring true story for anyone out there who's ever shot for the moon, then just totally muffed up the landing. They stole $17 million that had not bought a ticket to help him escape. So we're saying like, oh God, what do we do? What do you do? That was dumb. People do not follow my example.
Starting point is 00:01:25 Listen to Crimless, Hillbilly Heist on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts or wherever you get your podcast. I live below a cult leader and I fear I've angered her. Wait a minute, Sophia. How do you know she's a cult leader? Well, Dakota, luckily it's I'm not afraid of a scary story week on the OK Storytime podcast. So we'll find out soon. This person writes,
Starting point is 00:01:47 My neighbor has been blasting music every day and doing dirt rituals. And now my ceiling is collapsing. I try to report them, but things keep getting weirder. I think they might be part of a cult. Hold up. Real life cult? And what is a dirt ritual? No clue, Dakota.
Starting point is 00:02:03 Find out how it ends. Listen to the OK Storytime podcast on the Iheart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Chicago. A white woman's murder. A black man behind bars. For a crime he didn't commit. 90 years of killing somebody I have never seen. The Crying Wolf podcast is the story of a corrupt detective, two men bound by injustice, and the quest for redemption.
Starting point is 00:02:28 no matter the price Listen to the Crying Wolf Podcasts on the I Heart Radio app Apple Podcasts or wherever you get your podcasts Good morning, USA! Yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo,
Starting point is 00:02:47 what up, Joe, Joe, Joe. Peace to the planet, it is Friday! Hey! Good morning, how y'all feel out there. I feel blessed black and highly favored. Happy to be here another day to serve our beautiful listeners. What's happening? Good morning. Happy Halloween.
Starting point is 00:03:01 I see you dressed up as who you dressed up as? I'm super black. Super black. Yeah, I'm super black. And Red looks like he's super Puerto Rico. He is. He's right as Super Puerto Ricans. First of all.
Starting point is 00:03:13 I'm super black. Good morning, everybody. Happy I'm going to. What's up, Jess? Yo, why I'm not looking at Dame Dash right now? What's going on? You know what? I didn't, I came to Philly.
Starting point is 00:03:21 I'm in Philly. I'm going to do Dame Dash Lake Raw today. I didn't bring the costume. I would have to bring the suit and all of the stuff. I'm going to do it later on today. I'm going to be, I'm a B-Dame Dash. Y'all don't want to be in the spirit. I see, you are.
Starting point is 00:03:32 I am. Who am I? Chris. Chris, one of Chris cousins. What? Wow. No, who am I for real, yo? D-Boy.
Starting point is 00:03:41 No, no, no. You're from Friday. She's definitely from Friday. Oh, Pop! Oh, Smokey, nigger. Oh, smoky. Okay. I thought you with Pop going to work.
Starting point is 00:03:53 Okay. I thought you was Debo. I really thought you was one of Chris Cousins. Man, shut up. Mexicans do not wear the dickies, y'all. You wanted Chris Cousins from the second Friday. That owner dog. Who was he?
Starting point is 00:04:04 Oh, who's... Baby, Chico, and all of them, you know, yo. But I could tell you in costume, though. I just didn't know what you were. Jesus Christ. You're dumb, y'all. And then I was even going, like,
Starting point is 00:04:17 come with a blunt and light the blood, but then Chris was going to be like, now you're going to end up as Craig. Remember Craig got some awesome. On a Friday, too. This is a great, you know. Friday, man. Halloween on a Friday is incredible. Happy Halloween. Yes, it is. Happy Halloween.
Starting point is 00:04:31 And salute to everybody that was, that we read into in Philly. Lauren and myself are out in Philly. We went to go see the Delaware State versus Norfolk State. How was the crowd? Did people show up? It was, what was the final number, Laura? 40, a little, it was not, a little bit over 42,000. That's a lot of people. I'm sorry, it was a little bit over 47,000, 47,266.
Starting point is 00:04:53 That's great. So it was sold out. No, it was. And it wasn't sold out. The venue was like 60-something thousand. False. But I feel great. That is great.
Starting point is 00:05:01 For HBCU game, they're absolutely positively. So that was amazing. I've seen Cam Newton. We've seen Alan Avicin. I've seen Meek Mill. The city really came out and show love. The governor was there. It was just so many people.
Starting point is 00:05:12 Governor was there? No, the governor of Delaware. Governor Delaware, my dad. Oh, got you, got you. He's like a man, really. He's not the man. He's the governor, you ass. Hey, yo.
Starting point is 00:05:23 But it was a dope game. It was just good to see so many people. people just supporting HBCU because everybody wasn't from Norfolk or Delaware State. It was just so many people just that went to an HBCU or that just wanted to show love and it was just packed. It was nothing but love. So salute to everybody we've seen out there
Starting point is 00:05:38 and hopefully we can do more games like this and get more people because that money goes to the school. Absolutely. They get part of the food, they get the door, they get so much. I just wonder if other people could fill it up like the way Michael Vick and Deshawn Jackson did because you got to think that's in, you know, Lincoln Financial Field, that's in Philly, both of them played in Philly.
Starting point is 00:05:56 I'm sure that's part of the reason that crowd came out there like that. Absolutely, yeah. But it was a great crowd. But let's get the show cracking. B.G. will be joining us this morning. Hey. The icon, B.G.
Starting point is 00:06:07 You know, he's got a new, he's fresh off the verses, of course. He's got a new documentary and a deluxe album called Freedom of Speech. Both are out right now. Yes. And also, Fuddy Markle, comedian Fonnie Markle, he'll be joining us. Funny Marco will be joining us. My guy. He's got a new season of his interview series, Open Thoughts coming.
Starting point is 00:06:23 That's right. So we'll be going to get with both for those. So let's get the show cracking. We got front page new. With Tesla Figaro. She's live in studio. Tesla's actually in the building. And we'll get into that next.
Starting point is 00:06:33 It's the Breakfast Club. Good morning. Happy Halloween, you and yours. Morning, everybody. Yes, indeed. J.N.V. Jess Hilaria. Sholomey Nagar. We are the Breakfast Club.
Starting point is 00:06:41 Let's get some front page news. Start off with some quick sports. Now, last night, we were at the Delaware State game versus Norfolk State. Delaware State won 27 to 20. So I wanted to start that. So it was kind of competitive then. Um, okay.
Starting point is 00:06:55 Because, you know, South Carolina State busted. Northfold steak at last week like 52 to something. Yeah. Yeah, they're getting it together. Tonight, the Dodgers take on the Blue Jays at 8 p.m. What's up?
Starting point is 00:07:06 Y'all, hold of me. Y'all not going to play with my Ravens. They won last night. They beat the Dolphins, so stop playing. But go ahead. What's up to you? Usually they put, oh, yeah, they did. They won 28 to 6.
Starting point is 00:07:14 Yeah, y'all sure did. I know if you're usually you're a Pittsburgh Steelers fans. No, I'm not. No, I'm not. She switched last year. I switched last year. I switched.
Starting point is 00:07:21 Yeah, my bad. My bad. My bad. Yeah. Yeah, and Lamar did his thing. He's back, baby. Chris refused to have a divided household. He refused.
Starting point is 00:07:28 Chris said, you're going to be a Ravens fan. Okay? She wouldn't be a rabid fan for a father or son. But Chris. Hey, Tess. What's up, Tiz? Hey, what's going on, everybody? Let's talk quickly about Illinois Governor Pritzer.
Starting point is 00:07:41 He's asking ICE to Paul's operations for Halloween. Let's take a listen. Mr. Bavino, your operation has shown fear and division and chaos among law-abiding residents in our communities. If you are unwilling to cease operations and leave our city, can we at least agree that our children should not be victims, especially on Halloween? Can we agree that there is no imminent threat
Starting point is 00:08:09 that should disrupt their holiday? No child in America should have to go trick-or-treating in fear that they might be confronted with armed federal agents and have to inhale tear gas. I honestly can't even believe that I have to make this plea. This is not the America that I know. I ask you to restore some sanity for the sake of our children.
Starting point is 00:08:36 That's how you know it ain't no guardrails. That's how you know there is nothing politically they can do to stop ICE from being in their cities. When you've got to get on a line or whatever that is and beg for them not to bother you on Halloween? are treating for candy corn. I know Republicans are going to don't give a damn about if they get candy corn or not. They're literally willing to lock up his.
Starting point is 00:08:57 So why would we think that that plea is all of a sudden? Oh yeah, no, let's candy corn for all. So Homeland Security Secretary Christy Knoem said, uh-uh, is not happening? Take a listen. No, we're absolutely not willing to put on pause any work that we will do to keep communities
Starting point is 00:09:13 safe. The fact that Governor Pritzker is asking for that is shameful and I think unfortunate that he doesn't recognize how important the work is that we do to make sure we're bringing criminals to justice and getting them off our streets, especially when we're going to send all of our kiddos out on the streets and going to events and enjoying the holiday season. We want to make sure that they're safe.
Starting point is 00:09:37 That was embarrassing, Governor Pritchie. I'm not going to lie. Like, you know, please, just not the day. But get back to it tomorrow. It's fine tomorrow, but just not the day on Halloween. And then you fat, too, so it makes it seem like he just won all the candy for himself. You stupid, man. But I guess what he was trying to do is so the kids can actually feel comfortable
Starting point is 00:09:51 and parents can feel comfortable taking their kids out because of... What does Halloween matter in me? What about Monday, that? Yeah, what about tomorrow? Right, because you know the kids are going to be out. The kids are always out. But they're not trick-or-treating today. The parents are out with their kids and you can snatch them up today.
Starting point is 00:10:05 Yeah, but every day of their life, they're just out. They're going to school. People are going to work. They still got to live. What is Halloween matter? Right. Yeah, that's just desperate times call for desperate measures. That was a waste of press.
Starting point is 00:10:15 Yes. I'm calling on Democrats to be able. And again, shout out to Governor Pritz. He did. I know you guys talked about Sonia Macy this week, so he did pass that policy. So he's getting some good things done. But this just shows, like, how desperate they are, how there's nothing else that they can possibly do. And when are they going to build a bench?
Starting point is 00:10:32 When is that? That's the spooky thing. That's the scary thing I'm worried about. Where's the bench? Where are Democrats? Who's running? Ice might show out tonight and have a different math. They might jump out of a screen mask tonight or something.
Starting point is 00:10:41 Jason Rocky mask. I'm serious. I really thought that. Like, you know what? They might be on their Halloween tip too. you like Michael Myers mask and all that damn y'all I'm trying not to laugh at that
Starting point is 00:10:53 yeah so it's going okay well again guys governor prison did ask for that so I think it's a lame I think it's a waste of press just kind of show and I get and let me be clear we understand that they want it to stop they don't want the kids harm
Starting point is 00:11:07 you agree with that I agree with that 100% but don't use Halloween like that just to say one day because you pause it for one day like huh no that's crazy he was to pause it on all the time, I'm sure. But you're just saying today
Starting point is 00:11:19 the kids shouldn't have to worry about getting snatched off the street and taking to jail. Yes, outside. Absolutely. Parents are taking their kids. They don't want to go out with their kids and get snatched up and they go to a house and the house is not really a real house.
Starting point is 00:11:31 They're grabbing kids and shipping them out. No. Well, you just made up some stuff now. I do you know. Now I've got a haunted house. I just got a haunted house. You just made up something just now. Making it up there.
Starting point is 00:11:44 Well, at 7 o'clock, we have some monkeys on the run. this week. Shout out to all the monkeys, some monkey business going on. And how some leaders have been standing in the gap, Charlemagne the God, to help people with losing
Starting point is 00:11:58 their snap benefits. We'll talk about more at seven. All right, we'll get into that next. Everybody else, get it off your chest. 800-58-105-105-1. If you need to vent, phone lines are wide open. Again, 800-58-1-505-1.
Starting point is 00:12:11 Call us up right now. It's the Breakfast Club. Good morning. The Breakfast Club. Get it up This is your time to get it off your chest 8500 585-105-1
Starting point is 00:12:23 We want to hear from you on the breakfast club Hello, who's this? Hey, this is Gemma 505, man What's up, brother? Get it off your chest. This is what I wanted to say. I want to talk the first thing I want to say, Hey, Jess, how are you doing?
Starting point is 00:12:36 Hey, DJ Infi. Hey, Steve. Hey, baby. Follow me in the car, let me say you. You are my idol. Thank you. Um, Jess, I want to let you know of course, everybody else.
Starting point is 00:12:46 Everything is negative right now. I know the shutdown is happening on Saturday with the staffs, I mean, there's caps and everything, but I want to keep it positive on my end. October 7 was my birthday and whatnot, right? I've been called the office before October 7. I went to Italy and whatnot with my girl, and I finally proposed to her.
Starting point is 00:13:06 Congratulations, brother. Thank you, thank you. And the thing is, the only thing is, I'm a comedian as well. It's from Miami and everything like that. Nice. That's what's that. And I made it so happy.
Starting point is 00:13:20 And it was like, man, this was the most enjoyable moment for me and whatnot. And another thing is, I want to tell everybody, I did not have the ring because the ring was still in Miami at the pawn shop. I had about 2,500 left on the payment and whatnot. So I propose like an invisible ring. And she's pretty much afraid to post the video of the proposal
Starting point is 00:13:43 because there's no ring. And she's afraid to have friends because There's no ring. And I want to know, like, I got something right now. Should I, like, wait until I'm done with the payment or just, like, give her something real cheap right now and just wait for the way. No, just wait until you're done with the payment, yo. Don't need to do all that. And then she shouldn't be wanting to post it anyway.
Starting point is 00:14:01 Don't post that with no invisible ring. So you got on your knee with no ring with a fake ring when we went an invisible ring? No, no ring. No, because here's thing. I was in Italy and I'm like, yo, this is my opportunity. This is my chance. But unfortunately, by the time. time the day came, I did not have the
Starting point is 00:14:17 front. But I'm like, you know what? I feel gonna do it right here in this space, in this realm, even if I didn't have it. And she was so appreciative of it, but she's not telling nobody because there's no ring. Yeah, that's fine. I mean, she can tell no, she can't, because then first
Starting point is 00:14:33 question, girls asked, where to ring, bitch? So, no, don't. Yep. Don't even do it. Don't even do it. So, yeah, but I think what you did was great, it was a great gesture. You don't know the next time you're going to be in Italy. Great scenery, great plays. It was romantic. You did your thug, there's when she said yes, right? Yes, she said yes.
Starting point is 00:14:49 So wait, do you get the ring, and then you post the video, and then you pull, and she added the part where you put the ring on her finger at the end of the video. Oh, there we go. Now, it's like, so don't get the little $250 ring. Not because then you waste more money, you already don't have no money. I agree. So you have, you can't do that. Now, I love y'all so much.
Starting point is 00:15:08 Y'all, you know, the greatest I've been here before Ray J. And on the trail right now, y'all, y'all my number ones for the rest of my life. Love y'all. My name is Gamma 305. Now, y'all. You too, man. Love you too, my brother. Have a good one, man.
Starting point is 00:15:19 I started to help him out, man. But, you know, there's bigger issues in the world. Absolutely. Snap, EBT, stuck down. You know, I got food, banks of fun. But I started to help him out. But God is like, you know what? That's a lesson.
Starting point is 00:15:31 He got to walk on his arms. He got to walk that. Yeah, he just got to get married. You still got to get married. Yeah. That's going to be married. That's going to be married. It's all right.
Starting point is 00:15:40 It'd be good. It's a special moment. What do ladies care about more? The wedding of the ring. ring. Like if a man can't afford the ring would you rather have the wedding or would you rather have the ring on your finger? The ring. The ring, right? I mean, the wedding is just a party for everybody
Starting point is 00:15:52 to talk about you later, you know what I mean? But, yeah, I think the ring for sure. Get it off your chest. 800, 585-105-105.1. If you need to vent, hit us up now. It's the Breakfast Club. Good morning. The Breakfast Club. Ray, Ray, Ray.
Starting point is 00:16:09 Yo, Sala Man. Izzy, what up? Are we live? This is your time to get it off your chest. pool, our outdoor pool. We want to hear from you on the breakfast club. We can get on the phone right now. He'll tell you what it is. We live.
Starting point is 00:16:22 Hello, who's this? Good morning. My breakfast is family. Taz's his husband. Hey, Robbie. What's up? You already know if my wife in the building, I got to be holding up. Period.
Starting point is 00:16:34 Taz in here, yeah. Yeah. I want to ask you this. Is everybody dressed up today or I think my wife didn't dress up to have time? Yeah, I'm dressed up. Yeah, I'm dressed up too, yeah. I'm super black I'm dressing up later
Starting point is 00:16:46 Jess is pop for Friday I'm smoky yo I'm smoky Jess just don't get fried Just don't get fired today I'm really trying not to be Craig yo I'm trying not to be But I do want to say something
Starting point is 00:17:00 You guys don't realize But this marked this Two year anniversary of me and my wife Be getting together I want to thank the breakfast club Is that out of my wife puts the line tomorrow Make sure you sign up
Starting point is 00:17:12 Don't get educated You heard Yes, sir. I love that. Tash, you can say what's up to him, Tess. I have a training tomorrow. Oh, where, where, where. Online training.
Starting point is 00:17:22 Save, stack, and secure. Teaching how to save your money, how to stack and build your resources and secure, which is what you're doing, which we're going to talk about later. Okay. Nice. Tass, that man called you even say hello to him. Right. Yeah, it's so messy.
Starting point is 00:17:33 Tad's over here blushing. He'll be over and being messy as hell. That's what he doing. Go to the next story, Envy. Hello, who's this? Hey, this is Auntie Kim. How you guys doing? Hey, Auntie Kim.
Starting point is 00:17:44 What's up? Get it off your chest, moment. How's just going on with y'all? Good. Good. Good. I just want to let everyone know that, uh, I don't even want to say this. Man, man, man.
Starting point is 00:17:56 God. That Johnny from Duce Bacca fan has decided to take the terrorists and fund the WIC program, which I'm all for now. Don't get me wrong. I'm all for that. But a lot of people don't know that the WIC program is one of the only programs that immigrants are eligible for so they can take them fight on
Starting point is 00:18:18 that yeah because like I said this is this is all a game this is all a game and it's just cruelty is the point cruelty is the bottom line and that's why we got to all sit together
Starting point is 00:18:34 you all got to go back to where our mommies and grannies used to do put the pot big pots out and feed the community if that's where it's going to come to that's what we need to start doing. I remember we had fish fries, man, for my sister to them to go to college.
Starting point is 00:18:49 We had fish fries for people in our neighborhood, including us sometimes to pay rent, light bill, and everything else. So, that's what we need to do. And the test right now is going to be where we are right now. This is going to be the true story, y'all,
Starting point is 00:19:06 about, or the truth facts about how, if we're able to stick together like our parents and our grandparents said. I don't, I don't disagree. agree with you at all. I didn't see what he, I don't see what that was officially done though. I saw that the House Republicans introduced a bill defund Wick during the shutdown.
Starting point is 00:19:23 But I didn't see, I didn't see that pass anywhere. That was a couple of days. Yeah, yeah, it was it did. They, well, I don't know if the past, but that's, that was on the table. What I, that's the last thing I heard when I woke up this morning. Yeah, they was going to transfer $300 million in tariff for everything to WIC. I go to the White House.gov, although that ain't good
Starting point is 00:19:41 information either. But, you know, that's why I try to go. But even if that's the case, because I'm all for that. I don't feel like these are kids to have your point across. I agree. And the thing I don't like Shaliman, and I'm going to make this quick, they like to say welfare when it comes to, you know, us, the poor. Black people. But I won't say black, because we ain't the only one. But they like to say welfare when we're poor, but they say corporate subsidies and corporate It's bailouts. It's bailouts for the rich. It's bailouts for the rich, welfare for the poor.
Starting point is 00:20:17 Y'all get what you're saying. Right. So it's the wording. You see what I'm saying? But they're getting subsidies and they're getting all at the farm they farms and the farm they communities and everything.
Starting point is 00:20:28 They get kickbacks and they get subsidies and they get welfare too. And I'd rather feed a child or a single mother or a single father than to give corporate any more of my welfare money. I love y'all. Love you.
Starting point is 00:20:41 too, I'll see Kim. Get it off here, Chess. 800, 585, 105.1. Now, we got the latest with Lauren coming up. Yes, we do. Hey, y'all. Good morning. How about you going?
Starting point is 00:20:50 What's up? Make some noise. What the f***? Yeah, so we got the latest coming up. We're going to talk a little bit more about Dell State, Norfolk, DeShon Jackson, Mike Vick. An impact there, but also. The Breakfast Club.
Starting point is 00:21:07 Lauren becoming a street fit. Tell us, man. She gets him from some. somebody that knows somebody. She gets to detail. I'm the home girl that knows a little bit about everything. She'd be having the latest on this. The latest with Lauren LaRosa.
Starting point is 00:21:21 Sometimes you have facts, sometimes you have details, sometimes you have a little bit everything. Well, it's the latest. On the breakfast club. Talk to me. All right, guys. So yesterday we spent our night at the Delaware State and Norfolk State game, which was the Sean Jackson versus Mike Vic as the head coaches.
Starting point is 00:21:39 and it was a great time. Turn your mute down on your Zoom. My computer just mute on the Zoom. My computer just went out, so it shouldn't even be up. But your audio was fine, though. Okay. Yeah, so yesterday in attendance, just some people that we saw, Meek Mill, Gilly and Wallow,
Starting point is 00:21:56 and Gilly and Wallow, you know how they were doing the thing at Jackson State and some of the other schools where they would go and hype up the teams before the games and have those talks with them. They did that with the Delaware State University team yesterday. They were posting the Hornets, which is the hoodie that I have on our gear yesterday as well too
Starting point is 00:22:12 I saw Cam Newton on the field Alan Iverson Yeah we had an after party at Mr. Ivy I found out yesterday Shout out to their venue It's a black-owned venue I met the owner yesterday And it was packed
Starting point is 00:22:24 And he just was excited for the game to be In Philly because of the business That it brought him But Alan Iverson was there Deshawn Jackson and I saw him and his fiance They came over afterwards as well It was just a good time So we wanted to congratulate them on that win
Starting point is 00:22:38 now they're headed to the Celebration Bowl in Atlanta, and we have not been there. So this is like a huge win for them. And we talked about numbers yesterday. I talked to President Tony Allen, who's the president of Del State, last night, and he said, and we talked about it this morning, that the total in attendance ended up being 47,266 people or tickets sold. And they made north of a million dollars last night, but they were still calculating as I spoke to them. And all of that, you know, gets to go to the schools. they will look out for Norfolk State as well, too.
Starting point is 00:23:09 So love to see what went down last night. So dope on the clothes bombs for Delaware's game. Absolutely, man. Drop on a close bonds with Deshawn Jackson. The game was dope, man. It was a lot of people at the game, like she said. Everybody was. And it just wasn't people from Delaware State or Norfolk.
Starting point is 00:23:21 It was just people that just either want to support or just went to an HBCU and wanted to make sure that those numbers were up. They had 47,000 people to watch an HBCU football game, which is amazing. Hopefully we can keep those numbers up. We were trending across Google this morning. When I looked to see, like, what news was trending, Delaware State football was trending across Google, which is a huge thing for the team and just the HBCU culture in general.
Starting point is 00:23:41 And driving the clubbom for Michael Vick. Yes, and Mike Vick as well. Of course, there were so many people there yesterday that were, like, conflicted. Like, they're just excited to be on both sides. We were actually sitting on Norfolk State's side, our suite was on their side. Yeah. And shout out to everybody listening to the show, too. We ran into so many
Starting point is 00:23:57 people that were listening to the show and kind of followed us from the show to the game. That's right. So, yeah, shout out to the listeners. Nice. Now, in other big braw news, Lela Ali has finally responded to Clarissa Shields and about whether she's coming out of retirement. Finally, we got the answer. Let's take a listen. Every female fighter who wins a WBC title receives her belt with my face displayed on it. Now, that truly is something special to me. So, did her
Starting point is 00:24:23 plan work? Did she make me mad enough to come out of retirement after 18 years and start training again to make her dream of fighting me and having a big payday courtesy of Lela Ali come true? Absolutely not. After years of blatant lies and vile disrespect, making unsolicited negative remarks about me, questioning the legitimacy of my boxing legacy, and having the audacity to cross the line by disrespecting my deceased father
Starting point is 00:24:51 trying to use his name to discredit his daughter. My husband, al-I would never, her daddy would never, her daddy would never. Maybe she don't have the nerve genes. She will not be rewarded, with the opportunity to share their rights. ring with me or anything else. There's your answer.
Starting point is 00:25:09 Well, I said that's so long to say no, yo. I thought when I saw it, I said all of that to say no. Damn. But we, y'all, listen, what we said the last time we talked about this was that they were drumming up something here. And nothing's being drummed. I still think it's going to happen. I still think it's a play. I don't think you go on a rant for two rants, two parts to say, nah, this is not going to happen.
Starting point is 00:25:30 I still think at the end of it's going to be like, you know what? You've been talking all that smack. Let's do this. I really feel like the fight. happen i don't know why but yeah i see why you say that um maybe maybe they they don't feel like uh all of these videos got them the motion they wanted them to you know or or maybe layla did just just to build up her youtube page i don't know man right it's too professional on leila's in yeah it's a lot of time that they was looking for it's because it's too professional she got
Starting point is 00:25:54 talked some it's like like clarissa or like she did back in the day she's she too she too polished she too she too perfect well if clarissa can't get leila uh she days a green still out there right Oh, that's the girl from Jersey, right? That's from Patrick's in Jersey. The one that everybody keeps saying. They said, Clarissa didn't respond to her, right? I don't know. They had a little back and forth for an X.
Starting point is 00:26:14 Remember we talked about it, but there's no, like, fight happening that we know of. Because she's ready. Yeah, she's ready to rock row. Yeah. But I can understand why Clarissa would, you know, angle for Layla. Yeah. Because that would be the big money. Those type of fights to the money fights nowadays.
Starting point is 00:26:29 The big spectacle fights. Yeah, we've seen them with Jake Paul. We seen it with Tyson. We saw Roy Jones They're talking about Mayweather and Pachial now Yeah Even though that actually would be But whatever with Mayweather and Tyson
Starting point is 00:26:42 Is that still going to happen? That, you know, it's crazy They just got quiet Yeah, I don't think For some reason that didn't Hit the way that You thought it would When you hear those two names mentioned
Starting point is 00:26:52 Like people were talking about it They just kind of went away But I'll watch I'd be acting like I wouldn't watch All them fights every time it happened I'm never going to watch that I'd be the first person By and people
Starting point is 00:27:01 I'd be watching that stupid stuff too I like all them spectacles that's all you got no I mean we can real quick if I got a couple minutes Diddy so remember we talked about where Diddy would be housed in prison Where's he going? Well okay look here's what's happening So TMZ did a report yesterday saying that he is headed to Fort Dix
Starting point is 00:27:17 Wow he was actually He was beginning his sentence there That he had already been checked in at his new home for the next two and a half years And that's where he's going to be serving his federal prison sentence right But I reached out yesterday we headed to the party I reached out and said hey when did this happen I need it like I want to confirm it before I get on air
Starting point is 00:27:36 and we talk about it his team from what I'm being told cannot confirm that to me they still have gotten no update as to where he is they have confirmed that he left MDC but they don't know where he is and I'm like well isn't that like a safety thing for you guys to not know like it's strong Diddy Combs
Starting point is 00:27:52 like how do you just not know that makes sense they shouldn't tell you they shouldn't tell anybody where Diddy's at if he had woke up with a poking in his neck there's no way in hell he should be telling anybody where he's at It should be, like, they shouldn't be telling nobody where where did he's at. I mean, but you'll be able to. At the end, he's just, he's, he's an inmate right now.
Starting point is 00:28:09 So, you know, when inmates get transferred to different, you know, facilities, you know that. That's why I thought that people knew that he went to four dicks yesterday just because he was at four dicks? Yeah, but if he got a threat on his life or he's one of those inmates that people want to kill, you don't want to tell him where he's going, right? You don't want to give him that information with the inmates with somebody for him to wake up being poked in the neck.
Starting point is 00:28:28 I don't even know if that's how it's going to be this time around, Jess. I did try and ask that. the last time that happened, but they wouldn't now that they wouldn't get into with me because of what you guys are saying. You really believe that pole in the next door? I mean, that envy just said he would, he wake up getting pooped in the neck. I'm like, yo, why? That's what he would be
Starting point is 00:28:44 daydreams about. Waking up with a man poking that. That's what they said. They said he had a knife to his neck. That's what they said. That was the story. Oh, okay. I didn't make that up. I wasn't there. He couldn't wait to run and he didn't wait to run ahead this morning and say, he's at four dicks. He couldn't wait. I didn't even say that this morning. Crazy.

You may know me as the second hottest actor from the Harold and Kumar movies, but I'm also an author, a White House staffer, and as of like 15 seconds ago, a podcast host. Along the way, I've made some friends who are experts in science, politics, and pop culture. And each week, one of them will be joining me to answer my burning questions. Like, are we heading towards another financial crash, like in 08?
Starting point is 00:30:13 Is non-monogamy back in style? And how come there's never a gate ready for your flight when it lands like two minutes early? We've got guests like Pete Buttigieg, Stacey Abrams, Lili Singh, and Bill Nye. When you start weaponizing outer space, things can potentially, go really wrong. Look, the world can seem pretty scary right now, because it is. But my goal here is for you to listen and feel a little better about the future. The Big Take podcast from Bloomberg News dives deep into one big big, global business story every weekday.
Starting point is 00:32:01 A shutdown means we don't get the data, but it also means for President Trump that there's no chance of bad news on the labor market. What does a bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich reveal about the economy? Our breakfast foods are consistent consumer staples, and so they sort of become outsize indicators of inflation. What's behind Elon Musk's trillion dollar payout? There's a sort of concerted effort to message that Musk is coming back. He's putting politics aside.
Starting point is 00:32:30 He's left the White House. And what can the PCE tell you that the CPI can't? CPI tries to measure out-of-pocket costs that consumers are paying for things, whereas the PCE index that the Fed targets is a little bit broader of a measure. Listen to the big take from Bloomberg News every weekday afternoon on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. He practiced that prison of penises and there was a cadence. Yeah, see, he practiced that one.
Starting point is 00:33:05 Yeah, so I mean, listen, the report that's out there is there. And what will happen to Charlemagne's point is the same way that we got the date of when he would potentially be released. That is going to be confirmed eventually, even if it's just online records, regardless of who he is. But as of right now, his attorneys are saying, that's what they're saying to me. So I don't know. But that's the update that I have. Oh, thank you, Laura. You're welcome.
Starting point is 00:33:27 The latest with Lauren. Now, when we come back, we got front page news. Tess is here today. She's actually in studio, so she'll be breaking everything down. And then B.G. will be joining us. So don't go anywhere as to Breakfast Club. Good morning.
Starting point is 00:33:38 Morning, everybody. It's DJ NV. Jess O'Larious. Sholomaine Nagu. We are the Breakfast Club. Let's get in some front page news. Start off with sports now yesterday. And Thursday night football, the Ravens beat the Dolphins,
Starting point is 00:33:51 28 to 6. Period. Told you about our last night's DS, Delaware State's game versus Norfolk State. Delaware State. 1827-220. So, congratulations to Delaware State. Also salute to Norfolk State. What's up, Tiz? Tess in studio.
Starting point is 00:34:05 The hood whisper. Yes, in the building. So glad to be here. Before we get into the Reeses-McCock's story. Damn. Yeah, we're just back-to-back with the Rees-Macock monkey story. If you had to take a sip or something when you hear that way,
Starting point is 00:34:19 if you like that. He took a sip of his Starbucks soon as he heard that. You are crazy. What is wrong with you? It's your, man. Grow up. Grow up. Go ahead, Ted.
Starting point is 00:34:28 Okay, so before we start talking about Cox, I do want to commend, are you super Negro today? Or super brother? Super black. Super black. We have to show some love to our own Charlemagne, the God, for donating to help families ahead of snap. I know you don't normally like to pat yourself on the back. I saw this yesterday, and I thought it was just so awesome. Pat him on a butt.
Starting point is 00:34:49 Thank you. Yeah, pat him on the butt. One of the things that's really, really important, Charlemagne, is that, as you know, people step in the gap. You know, do what government can't do. A lot of people talk online, just sit back and talk and do nothing at all. I wanted to commend you for that and ask you to tell us a little bit about what you're doing to help folks in New York. Well, yeah, you know, I'm already an ambassador for the Food Bank of New York City and Harlem, so this work isn't new to me. So I just launched a 50,000 meal match for New Yorkers because of the snap crisis that's happening.
Starting point is 00:35:19 So I paid for 25,000 meals. So if the spirit moves you, just go to Foodbank, NYC.org and donate whatever. you can. I mean, it can be a penny if you want to. A penny, a dime, a dollar, whatever it is. And I want to match that 25,000 meals that I contributed and get them to 50,000 meals. Yes, but I'm doing that at Food Bank all across the country. I did it at Broad River Business Alliance in Columbia,
Starting point is 00:35:42 South Carolina. You can go to Broad Riverba.org for that. Harvest Hope in Columbia, South Carolina. I did it at the Community Resource Center in North Charleston, and I'm doing it in Monk's Corner at the Harvest Hope Food Pantry as well. something in Newark with the 211 community impact non-profits. And for people that don't know, you know, yesterday we were talking about, you really don't understand how much
Starting point is 00:36:04 money actually helps feed people. One dollar fee is five meals. Five meals, that's right. So one dollar is five meals. So when you think about it like that, if you donate a dollar, five dollars, ten dollars, one dollar is five years. And it varies everywhere though. Because, you know, in Harlem, you know, I donated something and it was 25,000 meals. In Columbia, I donated something, and it's like
Starting point is 00:36:23 300 meals. But it don't matter. It's just all, you know, meal. So, you know, go to these different organizations and donate. But if you're in New York City, Food Bank, n.yc.org, and you'll see the link for my Charlemagne meal match. Well, I just wanted to bring that up because it's critically important. One of the trainings I'm doing tomorrow, as I was telling you, it was about save, stack, and secure.
Starting point is 00:36:42 And Secure is about securing organizations that can stand in the gap. Because we're dealing with belt-to-ass right now. Bottom line, we are belt-to-ass, so this is a great opportunity for you to get involved, do something to be a part of the solution instead of a problem. So let's get quickly, right quick with the Reese's
Starting point is 00:36:57 Macawks monkey story a lot of monkeys were just clowning all week long the first so first in Mississippi there was a highway accident and approximately 21 monkeys escaped the truck and the police were told that the monkeys had diseases
Starting point is 00:37:13 hepatitis C COVID-19 but they got it wrong let's take a listen all enforcement with guns here but Tulane later clarifying saying while they provide monkeys for research the primates in question belong to another entity and are not infectious. Authorities say most of the
Starting point is 00:37:29 escaped monkeys were put down as a search for the missing. Now, they put these monkeys down. Three of the monkeys are still on the run, so those three monkey brothers. Y'all forgot this happened in South Carolina back in November. That's what are the monkeys telling us? And then there's more.
Starting point is 00:37:47 All the monkeys escaped from that research facility in Beaufort County in South Carolina last November. I want you to put on your 10, I wanted to see, like, and then what happened? I don't even know if they caught all of them. It was like 40-something monkeys. Yeah, monkeys are on the wild. They're going loose.
Starting point is 00:38:00 And then to go further with that, the reason why I wanted to talk about this story is there was a monkey that tried to escape in the Halloween store with a diaper on. Let's take a list. Meanwhile, a different wild escape in Texas. This time, a pet monkey spooking customers at a Halloween store. My daughter looked up and she said, what in the world? And she's like, is that a real monkey? The animals seem swinging, crawling, and darting around, turning the soar into a jungle gem,
Starting point is 00:38:30 ultimately caught not with a banana, but with a cookie. Monkeys out of their element as their escapes go viral. So are they trying to tell us something, Jess? I don't know. That's crazy. I ain't even know about the South Carolina thing. I ain't know that. You think they might be up north?
Starting point is 00:38:48 I'm going down there today. I'm going to be in Charlotte. Those monkeys better be cool because with D-Snap and EB-D, tea benefits getting canceled. They're going to end up dinner. Holiday. No, holidays right around the corner, too. Y'all better be cool. Do we have time to play a game, envy to see
Starting point is 00:39:04 guess what race it is? Who would bring a monkey to the holiday store? I'm not doing guess what race it is with no monkey kid. Who would think would bring a monkey to the store with a diaper on? If I play the audio it's going to give it away. But do we have time for a quick game or not? That's tough, though, because we like exotic pets, too. Yeah, we'd be doing
Starting point is 00:39:20 exotic pets. We got monkeys with diapers all? Yeah. We like exotic pets, man. Let's play the audio right quick, and I think it's going to give it away. Play the audio. Just so you know, was it something that scared him that made him go out? What was it? Like, somebody had put that little thing to see how he would react, and then he, like, spazzed out and, like, ran.
Starting point is 00:39:38 He ran up the pole as soon as we. I mean, keep a leash. Because the problem is what has happened now is, you know, there's three cops out here and then animal control is on their way. Somebody is driving in from animal control to get their truck to come over here. So it causes a big issue with the city. So make sure you keep control of it. That girl is white.
Starting point is 00:40:02 I don't care. Nope. She is white. I don't care. She did you. But what the stuff? Yep, she's white. Like, ma'am, you got the police up here.
Starting point is 00:40:11 Animal control. Would you keep your monkey on the leash? The carcassity of her. Like, she, yeah. I don't think monkeys could be pets. I didn't think you could have wild, like, those type of animals is pets. What are you talking about?
Starting point is 00:40:22 Michael Jackson had bubbles. Michael Jackson was at on a different level. I'm sure Michael Jackson did stuff normally. He had, I'm just saying, Michael Jackson had bubbles. But see, that's the most famous monkey ever next to King Kong. But I think King Kong's a Gorilla. So don't listen to me. Yeah, King Kong is not a Mokie.
Starting point is 00:40:40 But, yeah, I thought that was a really interesting story just to see what these monkeys are trying to tell us. They just on the run. It's something ain't right. Yeah, aside from all the jokes, it is a little crazy. That's, that's real scary if they just keep getting out. And it's the same type of monkey, right? What do you say? It was a reefus,
Starting point is 00:40:54 reefus macaques. A reef a monkey, you really? A rife monkey, you really tried it. That monkey is like. No, in Saucan, I think that was the same brain.
Starting point is 00:41:04 The same brain? I'm telling you. I think it was a recess or whatever you call it. McCawks. Say it, Charlemagne. I don't know about that part. With the mic closer and say it. Whoa, hey, yo.
Starting point is 00:41:16 She fantasizing away. All right. This front page news. Thank you, T. Absolutely. All right. When we come back, BG will be joining us.
Starting point is 00:41:24 We're going to kick it with BG when we come back So don't go anywhere Straight off a versus It's the Breakfast Club, good morning Oh, and you know what Today is Friday So we do the people's donkey So 1-800-5-105-1
Starting point is 00:41:34 If you want to call up And give somebody the credit They deserve for being stupid You can do it right now It's the Breakfast Club The Breakfast Club Good morning everybody It's DJ NVJJJLari
Starting point is 00:41:47 Sholamaine the guy We are the Breakfast Club We got a special guest in the building Yes indeed BG welcome home man Welcome back, brother. How are you feeling, man? I'm feeling good, man.
Starting point is 00:41:57 Like, I'm blessed, man. You heard my, I can't complain, man. I'm good, man. I'm good. Good to see you, brother. Fresh off the verses. That's right. Yeah, man, fresh off the verses, man.
Starting point is 00:42:09 How was that? It was incredible, man. Like, it was a good moment, man. Like, something like that couldn't happen, you know, 20 years ago. You know what I mean? Like, so, you know, for all us to be on stage, you know, at the same time and it's just be, you know, love and fun and, you know what I mean? Like for us to just give it, you know, to the people and what they've been asking for a long time.
Starting point is 00:42:38 Hold on a quick. I want to say, your energy was very infectious on that stage because you sold New Orleans. So for me, when I'm watching you on that stage, I'm just watching you celebrate the city. I'm watching even when no living music was coming on, you was like, ah, that's like, I'm like, I couldn't help myself, man, because I'm a fan. You know what I'm saying? I'm a fan of Mac. I'm a fan of Mia.
Starting point is 00:43:01 I'm a fan of fiend. Like, you know, soldier slim, that's my brother, free-seat murder. Like, I just was in the moment, you know what I mean? Like, you know, even though we was battling, like, it was certain records that came on where I just couldn't help myself. You know what I mean? Like, for real, for real. But how bad was the beef? because, you know, I'm from New York, he's from South Carolina.
Starting point is 00:43:23 Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. So how bad was it? Because people were saying, like, they never thought it could happen. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I mean, you know, back in the days, man, like, you know, that McNoyer, you know, Cali your beef was real. Now I'm saying, it was, it was really real, man. And I don't want to, you know, just go into, you know, the specifics of the, right?
Starting point is 00:43:47 But, you know, it's, you know what I'm saying? It's some people that die, right? You know what I'm saying? On both sides or whatever, you know what I mean? But, yeah, man, it is what it is, man. You know what I mean? And, you know, for us to be able to come together, you know, after all this time and make that happen.
Starting point is 00:44:04 And then not only that, man, like, you know, they didn't reach out to us for the no-limit cash money to it, man. You know what I'm saying? I heard about that. You know, like, man, let's check a bag, man. You know what I'm saying? Like, like, like, let's shake a bag, yeah. I heard of about a documentary
Starting point is 00:44:22 explaining the Calio, Magnolia situation. Absolutely, absolutely, absolutely. Like, it's a lot of opportunities that presented itself, but, yeah, I was on the phone with AG yesterday, you know what I'm saying, talking about, you know what I mean, a bag and, yeah, like, we're going to close that out and make that happen. And the tour are definitely going to hit
Starting point is 00:44:43 New Orleans, because, you know, people was mad, the versus wasn't in New Orleans? Yeah, but you know it's complex kind, right? You know what I mean? So, you know, I think, if it was, would have been in New Orleans, it would have been yeah, it would have been sick, right? Because they were saying that it couldn't happen because maybe the violence, but I was like, no, nah, nah, it would
Starting point is 00:45:02 have been just as, it would have been just as fun and, and, you know, just as incredible as it was in Las Vegas, man. But I think, you know, that it should have been in New Orleans, but, you know, it happened. So now that they see, you know, that it could happen on a level to where it ain't no BS involved, you know what I mean. Now we could, you know, move on and make things happen on another level. So it's all good.
Starting point is 00:45:30 Why wasn't Wayne there? That's the question everybody. I talked to Wayne yesterday, man. And I talked to Wayne the morning before, right? You know what I mean? The morning before the verses. And, you know, short, it wasn't feeling good, man. You know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:45:47 So, you know, because he had a concert that dressed the same night. and he canceled that as well, you know what I mean? And Swiss was, you know, even hurt behind it, right? You know what I mean? Because for real, for real, that's the reason Swiss pulled the trigger on it. You know what I mean? Because Wayne, you know, agreed, right? I heard Wayne overstated the whole thing.
Starting point is 00:46:05 You know what I'm saying? Yeah, like, you know, sure they hit the muscle, right? You know what I'm saying? He got muscle, right? So I think it was, you know, short, it wasn't feeling good because he definitely was supposed to be there. You know what I mean? So, you know, he told me that. you know he wasn't feeling good and you know he had to go to the hospital or something like that
Starting point is 00:46:26 you know what i mean so you know people be thinking that it was you know whatever whatever whatever but at the end of the day like i told him man we ain't spring chickens no more man you know what i mean so you know you got to make sure man your health and you know what i'm saying and all that you know get your rest man you've been running 35 years strong yeah you know what i'm saying so you got to make your, you know, you get your rest and I think that was the reason that you know, shorter wasn't there. He was dealing with some personal issues. And we'll get to see
Starting point is 00:46:56 Wayne on the tour. If the tour happens with no limit, you know, we'll get to see Wayne? I mean, you know, I can't answer that. You know what I mean? Like, I really can't answer that. You know what I'm saying? Like, you know, sure to be on, we're on, what's sure to be on, you know what I'm saying? So, you know,
Starting point is 00:47:13 I would love to see him out there with us, you know what I'm saying, and on the tour. And You know, I don't think, you know, that sure they'll turn on. You know, the bag that's on the table. But then, you know, them, they're already rich forever. You know what I mean? I'm playing catch up. You know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:47:30 So, you know, I'm trying to clock at all. You know what I'm saying? But, yeah, man, we'll see. We'll see. When you and Wayne were coming up, and the reason I say you and Wayne, because I don't know if even people would know, the first time I got introduced to anything cash money related was maybe gangsters.
Starting point is 00:47:47 Not facts. BG's, not facts. BG and Wayne. Not facts, facts. When y'all were coming up, did y'all realize, man, this could be what it turned out to be 30 years ago? Absolutely not. You know, we just was doing it for the love of the music. For real, like, you know, at that point, we was kids, man.
Starting point is 00:48:04 You know what I'm saying? Like, you know, Wayne was 11. You know, I was 13. You know what I mean? Like, we couldn't see this fault. You know what I'm saying? Like, we really couldn't see this fault. You know, that was a vision.
Starting point is 00:48:17 You know that that Baby and Slim had, you know what I mean? And, you know, they was, you know, trying to come out the streets. You know what I mean? And, you know, try something different. And, you know what I'm saying? Like, you know, change our lives, you know, through the music or whatever, whatever. But, you know, if I was to say that, I saw, you know, us being who we became, like, you know, nah, I didn't see that for.
Starting point is 00:48:43 Well, break down that vision. Because what did Baby and Slim see in? each one of y'all because y'all were young 10 years old 11 years old 12 years old juvenile was young but really him and way that's why i keep i want to stress that because yeah that brotherhood to me is the foundation of care yeah that's a fact what does he see in y'all and how do he find y'all to say
Starting point is 00:49:02 this is the star um well you know baby and slim knew my mama right you know what i mean and you know i don't be wanna you know put it out there like that or whatever whatever but you know my mama how was a stash house like way back in the G you know what I'm saying so yeah yeah yeah yeah so you know what I'm saying like you know moms used to have bricks in the oven you know what I'm saying like for baby slim like way in 88 87 889 you know what I mean so I knew baby man slim since I was you know in elementary school you know what I mean and then when I started you know writing
Starting point is 00:49:44 and raps and things of that nature, and they hadn't started cash money, like, what, 91, 992? None of me, and they heard I was, you know, rapping or whatever, and my barber stand called him, like, man, little to do he rap, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. You know what I'm saying? And they come to the barbershop. And hold on, they, like, hold on, man, that's since, like, you know what I'm saying? And I rap for them, and, you know, they put me in a car and brought me, you know,
Starting point is 00:50:10 to my mom and was like, man, we're going to change his life, man. You know, let us take him. My daddy had just got killed. None of them saying. And, you know, I was out wild and, you know, I ain't had no gardens or whatever, whatever. So, you know, baby, and Slim took me on there they wing and, you know, the rest history. How did that brotherhood between you and Wayne, like, that brotherhood before the fame?
Starting point is 00:50:30 How did that shape y'all as artists and as men? Man, man, Wayne used to be writing reps together in my mama kitchen. You know what I mean? Like, you know, baby will lock us in the house. You know, I'm talking about it like, he'll get men. and fresh to make a beat. And literally, you know, lock us in the house while they're going out and run emmence and stuff and make us, you know, write songs to this one beat, you know,
Starting point is 00:50:59 he'll come back and listen to what we had and, you know, be like, that ain't it, that ain't it, that ain't it, that ain't it. And, you know, tear our raps up, like, but keep this, you know what I'm saying. And yeah, man, I'm like, hey, he just tore this my shit. Like, that's fucking frightening all day. No what I'm saying? But he, like, I mean, it was like military. It was like a military school, man.
Starting point is 00:51:23 But it created monsters, man. You know what I'm saying? Like, you see what Wayne have became? You know what I mean? Like, you know, and, yeah, just the work ethic. It created a work ethic that's just undeniable. And Birdman was like a father figure to both of y'all. Absolutely.
Starting point is 00:51:38 I've heard you call Burmerell in Berlin. No, absolutely. No, absolutely. Absolutely. He raised me. you know what I'm saying like he he pretty much raised me man no I'm saying him and slam man they raised me man from from from from from 12 on up man like
Starting point is 00:51:52 you know I gotta give them all the credit man they they raised me man and that's why I like I like talking about cash money because you know of course everybody knows what Wayne does everybody knows who does but there's no cash money without BG oh yeah yeah yeah you know you know you know I mean cash money was built on my back man you know what I mean like when when you think about it you know
Starting point is 00:52:12 Jew's first feature was on my Chapa City album. You know what I'm saying? Like, you know, from, you know, BG True Story, Chopper City is all on you, volume one, it's all on you, volume two, you know, till we formed the hot boys in 9 and 7, with the get it how you live
Starting point is 00:52:28 and, you know, so forth and so on with the soldier rags and this, that, and the third, but yeah, I was, yeah, yeah, I was him. Number of that, yeah. In the documentary, after all that, in a documentary, right, You talk about how hard it is to stay relevant
Starting point is 00:52:45 while you're locked up in your way for the amount of time that you did. Did you think it was over for you while you were locked in? I did. I did. Like, when a judge gave me them 14 years, like, you know, it's hard to stay relevant and it's a rap thing for a month, you know, six months a year. You know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:53:03 And you got 14 years, not for a vicious or violent crime. No, I didn't get 14 years for a violent crime. You got a gunman. Guns and obstructing justice. I really got 10 years for the gun 14 years for the fucking justice You know what I mean But you know when I got them 14 years
Starting point is 00:53:20 I was like damn It's all right you know what I'm saying My career over it Like I couldn't see the end You know what I mean And then you know Social media started popping And Instagram started popping
Starting point is 00:53:33 And you know it was ways to You know stay relevant You know through social media That really helped me You know Stay in tune with the fans and things of that nature. And, yeah, man, I'm back.
Starting point is 00:53:46 And not only that, I was attached to a brand, you know, that stayed relevant, you know, throughout that time. You know what I mean? Because at the end of the day, yeah, absolutely. Like, Stunner was there, like, you know what I'm saying? Yeah, no, Stunner was there, you know, Wiesie was shouting me out and, you know, the whole gang or whatever, whatever. But if it wasn't for, if it wasn't, you know, for social media,
Starting point is 00:54:12 Who knows? You know what I mean? Like, because, yeah, man, yeah. That's interesting. You say that, though, because, you know, Jay-Z once said, if everybody in your click is rich, your click is rugged, nobody will fall because everybody will be each other's crutches. I would think even with 14 years.
Starting point is 00:54:26 Not facts. Wayne, I mean, Wayne became Wayne in those 14 years. Right, right, right. Julian and Birdman, like, they was all still in the mix. They were still in the mix. I don't think they would ever let you fall. And not only that, though, like, you know, at the end of the day, I can't tell my story without telling me story.
Starting point is 00:54:41 That's right. You know, Julie can't tell his story without telling my story. Wayne can't tell his story, you know, without telling my story. So, you know, we all joined at the hip, whether we like it or not. You know what I mean? Like, our legacies are all, you know what I mean? Like, one, you know what I'm saying? So, you know, that I think that benefited me, too.
Starting point is 00:55:03 Now, with your release, is it true that every lyric that you rap now or right now you have to send for approval? so I have to turn it over to my pill you know what I mean like they don't get to approve because when I first came home when I did the album with Gucci Man when I first came home
Starting point is 00:55:24 me and Wap did the tape together right and they tried to violate me and send me back to jail for that you know what I mean and I was like damn like you know like what's up like I ain't did nothing but what I've been doing you know what I mean
Starting point is 00:55:40 So they were saying that they didn't want me doing nothing pertaining to entertainment or nothing pertaining to music that I could make money off of. You know what I mean? So it was like, God damn, like, I didn't understand it. And that's why I fought it. Exactly. Like, I've been doing this since I was 13 years old. And you're trying to send me back to jail for just simply trying to make a living.
Starting point is 00:56:09 You know what I mean? So the judge agreed with me and said it was a violation of my freedom of speech. You know what I mean? But she did say that I had to turn over the lyrics to my probation officer before I made them available to the public. But she don't have to approve them or nothing. But I still be having to just, you know, be mindful of what I say and how I said. You know what I mean? Because she disapprove of it.
Starting point is 00:56:38 Can they exit out? say, no, you can't put this out? Nah, I ain't gonna lie, though. They've been, they've been working with me. Like, they've been giving me my space and letting me make it. And I got a good P.O., man. Like, and I ain't got nothing but, like, two months left. You know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:56:53 I've done everything I'm supposed to do the right way. You know, I ain't feel no drugs as I didn't do all my community service. You know, I didn't complete it all the programs, you know, that they, you know, wanted me to complete like so everything is everything man's and and um I'm I'm grateful they want you to drop a gospel album
Starting point is 00:57:16 exactly yeah hey listen not because in the beginning though like they didn't want me rapping about guns they didn't want me rapping about snitches you know they didn't want me
Starting point is 00:57:28 rapping about I'm talking about you know everything that I've made a living of like my whole career like and I'm like hold up like I ain't the first one to rap about it I ain't going to be the last one to rap about it. Like, what you mean?
Starting point is 00:57:41 You know, I can't rap about this, this, that, and the third. Like, come on. Like, it's only entertainment. Yeah. You know what I'm saying? Like, I ain't no different from Denzel Washington playing Frank Lucas. Like, I'm Christopher Dorsey playing BG. Right.
Starting point is 00:57:54 Like, it's only entertainment. I wanted to ask, you know, before y'all did verses, did y'all have to have a conversation? Like, we've seen that Gucci and Gizi had a conversation before versus. Did you have to have a conversation, lay things out or no? Both sides. Well, well. Home team and.
Starting point is 00:58:10 I mean, you know, me and KLC been working together forever. Like, I love KLC. Like, you know, we, we're doing a whole project together right now. Like, Mac is my brother. Like, I love Mac. Like, Mac was on my first album, Chapper City. You know what I'm saying? Fein, my brother.
Starting point is 00:58:27 Like, me or X my sister. Like, you know what I'm saying? Like, see, murder my dog. You know what I mean? Like, I don't know, you know, the conversation that, you know, Bair and P had or if they even had a conversation. But yeah, I was having conversations with, you know, all the people that I just mentioned before, you know, we did it.
Starting point is 00:58:48 And I'm like, man, listen, man, come on, man, stop playing, man. Let's check this bag, man. You know what I'm saying? Let's check this bag. You know what I'm saying? Let's give it to the people. Let's do it for the culture, man. You hear me, you know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:58:59 Like, it's been long overdue and it happened. I have to be wrong with. I feel like UNC murdered. the only no limit cash money artists to collaborate? I feel like... And me and Matt collaborated. And me and Finn collaborated. Finn was on my last album.
Starting point is 00:59:14 Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, facts. And how bad does the Turk situation hurt? Because y'all grew up with each other. Y'all lived in the same house as y'all toured. I'm sure y'all that you've been on the same. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:59:26 Many van traveling from the city. Right, right, right. How bad is that situation that the family can't be tight? I mean, man. I mean, bro, like... Man, bro, man, this internet is, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's a crazy place, you know what I mean? And, you know, a lot of people, you know, just, get caught up, you know what I mean? Like, in the likes and you know, in the followers and you know, just in the BS, you know what I'm saying, that, that, they, they come with it and you know everything ain't for everybody. you know what I mean and that's just how I feel you know I'm saying because I come up and grew up in a time where you know you you you try to keep what was private private you know what I mean like and nowadays it's just like everybody's just want to just you know what I mean like come on man like what is we doing like come on man like come on man stop it man like you know I'm saying like we're supposed to be men like we're supposed to be cancer like what is you going, you know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 01:00:37 Like, what is you, like, what is you doing? Like, like, what's saying that? Like, and it'd be throwing me all, man, but, you know, it is what it is. Have you tried to be the bridge, the one that say, you know what, let me be the guy that... Well, y'all got your own issue.
Starting point is 01:00:50 I thought to say... Yeah, God. You're going to bridge, get him. But you say it's about the check and you've grown and you've evolved. Nah, face, face. I mean, listen, man, Like I said, man, you know, me and Stunner got our relationship.
Starting point is 01:01:09 You know, I got my relationship with Juvic. You know what I'm saying? Man, we got our relationship. You know, man, fresh. You know, we got our relationship. You know, I'm saying. Like, Tige, you know he be on. He be, man, he be on with he be on.
Starting point is 01:01:24 And I just ain't on that. No what I'm saying. So, you know, at the end of the day, man, like, it is what it is, man. But it always look good to see all of y'all whole. No, big facts, big facts. They'd be trying to front on Turks roll in the hot boys. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. And, you know, I mean, don't make me go there, man.
Starting point is 01:01:48 But you gotta admit, though, he did have the best verse on Bling Blank. On Bling Blink? Now, maybe on I need a hot girl. No, Blank Blank Blin. You know what I'm saying? Maybe I need a high girl. That's a much. Yeah, not, fake fit.
Starting point is 01:02:01 Nah, nah, he's sweet. He's like, like, I ain't. I ain't taking nothing away from around. You know what I'm saying? But, man, round be tripping out of these, man. It ain't nothing that can resolve, though? I mean. Because y'all did what y'all wasn't on tour together for a little while.
Starting point is 01:02:16 And I saw y'all in New Orleans. It was a great vibe. It didn't. Not fact. But then it was the whole thing that happened with the other tour. And then he just be doing goofy shit. You know what I'm saying? Like he just, for no reason.
Starting point is 01:02:27 Like, like, he just be jumping out there. Nothing I'm saying, with no parachute on. You know what I'm trying, like, for no reason. Like, and you know what I'm saying? Like, and it just be like, man, you know what I'm saying? Like, come on, bro, you got juvie man, you got fresh man, you got bird man, you got, you, you know what I'm saying, and then you got shorter in the cut, like, don't give about none of it, you know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 01:02:56 Like, and it's like, bro, come on, you shot yourself in the fuck. You know what I'm saying? Like you, and then you constantly shoot. yourself in the foot but could he be going through something though like could it be something deeper like you know man i don't know man you know you know what they say behind every strong black man is a strong black woman right you know what i'm saying and then you know behind every goofy it's a goofy female that's telling them what they're doing is is like you're like yeah he's about to go too far Leave that love on there.
Starting point is 01:03:34 Yeah, I wasn't trying to go there with it. Beattie, I do want to ask you, what's one thing you know about freedom now that you didn't understand back then? Oh, man, it's the most important, like, because I got my son in here with me right now, right? And when I left the streets, he was 11 years old. You know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 01:03:59 And I come home to a grown man. You know what I'm saying? Like, I come home. he's 22, 23 years old. You know what I'm saying? And I miss, you know, the most important years of his life, right? You know what I'm saying? And, you know, sometimes, you know, he'd be doing things,
Starting point is 01:04:17 and I'd be like, damn, I can't even fault him for not knowing what I wouldn't ever teach him. You see, you know what I'm saying? Like, so, man, freedom is, man, man, it is everything, man. You know what I'm saying? Like, I don't wish, you know, jail on my words hitting him. man you know what I'm saying because that's not nowhere that nah ain't nothing cool about it you're me ain't nothing cool about it I mean I know it come with it you know what I'm saying when you out there living you know a certain type of way
Starting point is 01:04:47 you know when you're doing certain type of things you know what I mean like you know you got I mean it is what it is right you know what I'm saying and you got to take your leg and you got to you know move on but um yeah man I I I definitely a lot of things that I wish you know that I could have you know, took back so I could have been there, you know what I'm saying, for my family and for my kids

Along the way, I've made some friends who are experts in science, politics, and pop culture. And each week,
Starting point is 01:06:15 one of them will be joining me to answer my burning questions. Like, are we heading towards another financial crash, like in 08? Is non-monogamy back in style? And how come there's never a gate ready for your flight when it lands like two minutes early? We've got guests like Pete Buttigieg, Stacey Abrams, Lily Singh, and Bill Nye. When you start weaponizing outer space, things can potentially go really wrong. Look, the world can seem pretty scary right now,
Starting point is 01:06:42 because it is. But my goal here is for you to listen and feel a little better about the future. Listen and subscribe to here we go again with Cal Penn on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. The Crying Wolf Podcast is the story of two

That's crazy. A snitch and a life stolen. They got the wrong guy.

The Big Take podcast from Bloomberg News dives deep into one big global business story every weekday.
Starting point is 01:08:10 A shutdown means we don't get the data, but it also means for President Trump that there's no chance of bad news on the labor market. What does a bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich reveal about the economy? Our breakfast foods are consistent consumer staples, and so they sort of become outsized, of inflation. What's behind Elon Musk's trillion dollar payout? There's a sort of concerted effort to message that Musk is coming back. He's putting politics aside. He's left the White House. And what can the PCE tell you that the CPI can't? CPI tries to measure out-of-pocket costs that consumers are paying for things, whereas the PCE index that the Fed targets is a little bit broader of a measure. Listen to the big take from
Starting point is 01:08:57 Bloomberg News every weekday afternoon on the IHeart radio app, Apple podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. So, yeah, freedom is everything. What does healing look like for BG? Healing? Healing, yeah. I mean, you carried a lot, you know what I'm saying? Grief and
Starting point is 01:09:16 incarceration. Like, what's peace look like do you know? Love, man. Like, you know, just you know, the kids, you know what I'm saying? Like, you know, know my girl like you know music you know what i mean just doing what i love like i mean yeah man that's that's that's that's that's that's that's pretty much you know what what what what healing look like to me man like just you know just just just just just really for real for real just
Starting point is 01:09:47 you know being happy man and and just staying focused man and staying out the way for real all right who won the verses And your honest New Orleans Don't give me no answer like New Orleans or hip-hop Hey, hey, hey. Who are in the verses? Presentation wise, you know what I think they probably got us.
Starting point is 01:10:09 Absolutely. No I'm saying? Like, you know, they came. You know, camouflage down. And I was trying to get everybody on the same page with the teeth, bowls and reeds. You know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 01:10:19 Like, I want to come tease, bowls, reek. But song for song, like, They couldn't handle us, man, like song for song. But presentation-wise, they won, man. You know what I'm saying? Song-for-song, no, they never go see us. You know what I mean?
Starting point is 01:10:38 But at the end of the day, you know, it was a win for the city. It was a win for Louisiana, man. It was a win for the culture, man. When you go out, when y'all go on tour, in your mind, you'll be like, I'm getting my get back. Oh, yeah. Nah, that's a fact. That's a fact.
Starting point is 01:10:54 That's a fact. That's a fact. I can listen to you talk all day. This is the New Orleans, like the accent, the whole, man, I love it. I love it for the ending yet. And I do want to say, although you went through so much, you know, you do not look like what you went through. Like, you look good. I'm happy to see you.
Starting point is 01:11:13 You're home. You got two months lap. I'm happy with it. I'm happy to see you. No, man. Thank you. Thank you. I appreciate it.
Starting point is 01:11:21 I appreciate it. Always good energy from BJ. Nah, big facts. It's BG's. It's the Breakfast Club. Thank you for coming, brother. You dig. Salute to BG, ma'am. Absolutely.
Starting point is 01:11:34 Yeah, make sure you check out his documentary and deluxe album, Freedom of Speech, available right now. That's right. Well, let's get to the latest with Lauren. Lauren becoming a straight fact. Tell her, man. She gets him from somebody that knows somebody. She gets to detail.
Starting point is 01:11:47 I'm the home girl that knows a little bit about everything. She'd be having the latest on this. She'll be having the latest with Lauren. The latest with Lauren. Lauren LaRosa. Sometimes you have facts, sometimes you have details, sometimes you have a little bit everything. Well, it's the latest.
Starting point is 01:12:00 On the breakfast club. Talk to me! All righty guys, so for Halloween, Offset just dropped a new project called Haunted by Fame. Mutures on? Because you hear the echo, that's well. Sorry. Oh, it is? Muted.
Starting point is 01:12:14 I'll turn the volume down. And cover your ball spot. Yo. You're worried about my boss spot. Listen. He can't even see it. worry about your face and your bald head, okay? You keep putting all these things
Starting point is 01:12:27 when they're trying to grow stuff back and hair lining coming back. And all that right's water you're using not working either. Now back to offset. Lauren, Jefferson. So, Austin. Go ahead, Lauren, go ahead, Lauren.
Starting point is 01:12:38 Focus, Lori. You got this. Focus. Thank you. The offset dropped the new project. It's called Haunted by Fame. And on the project, he talks about not being able to be vulnerable
Starting point is 01:12:47 because he's still going through some things. And he takes some shots at Cardi B. Let's take a listen to the, the shot that he took at Cardi B on one of the songs You open it up like a match kid I take off inside I like rockin On the way to the money no stop
Starting point is 01:13:03 How do you're ugly Jordan for rock man You're a fool if you think that I'm hurt You ain't happy I know how it worked How you married and still giving birth Cause a hush if you're going berserk Dang Yeah but let me tell y'all Okay I'm about five songs in
Starting point is 01:13:18 Project is Fire He also has another song on there Because you hear him say That he isn't heard or that she's not happy, basically, right? But then on the song Haunted by Fame, which is the title track, he talks about what I was telling you guys
Starting point is 01:13:30 about kind of not being able to work through his feelings about certain things. Let's take a listen to Haunted by Fame. Unhunted by fame. On hunted by fame. I don't want to do. I put me in pictures and make it through. A hunted by fame.
Starting point is 01:13:46 Trying to hot all my feelings ain't bulletproof. When I look in the mirror, I see the truth. I'm haunted by fame. a hundred my family Yeah now If this is You know His way of getting things out
Starting point is 01:13:58 As it is for most music artists I'm not mad at the music Because it's a great project thus far Thoughts on the songs I thought he was done taking shots like Cardi But yeah I mean That's the thing right We want artists to express themselves
Starting point is 01:14:09 Through their music So you know If you got things going on in your life It's fair game And express things through your music And I will say The Jordan for Rodman line Is a hard bar
Starting point is 01:14:19 Because that's a dope double entendre Because you know Robin was the king of rebound. You know, that's a dope, that's a dope double in tundrum. From the just trickly music, that was dope. Absolutely. That was slick. I'm surprised Officer dropped another album so fast.
Starting point is 01:14:30 Another album, like, you just talk about how quick that turnaround was. He in his own, clearly. That's what I said. Yeah, he got some things to get off his chest. Because last album is too hard. I'm surprised they're still not pushing that, but yeah, I'm not mad at it. I love music. Yes.
Starting point is 01:14:42 Well, labels don't push albums no more. I think we've come to that conclusion already. Thanks. I've probably just had some more to get off, you know what I'm saying? So he probably that he felt like once this prize, the recent, the most recent one that dropped, not this one, but the one, but for this one, that he didn't, he ain't really get everything out
Starting point is 01:14:56 that he wanted to say, so, yeah. It's cool, put it in his music, he can't rap, and he probably can be vinting about this for the rest of his life. That was his ex-wife. True, we got three kids. But, you know, just be ready when fire is returned. Yep.
Starting point is 01:15:10 That's all that, you know what I'm saying? That's all it is. That's it. That's it. When you say your side, somebody else's going to say they side. Yeah. If it's in the music, I don't have no problem with it. Exactly. I like music way better than I.
Starting point is 01:15:20 I like people getting online, you know, rant. Well, speaking of marriages and music and the combination of the two, Tony Braxton, she is celebrating one year of marriage with Birdman, and she's talking a bit about and giving us a look into what that looks like. Let's take a listen. Your one-year wedding anniversary of Birdman. Brian. Everyone calls him Birdman.
Starting point is 01:15:41 Is it weird that we call him Birdman? A little bit, but people call him that, O's Donna. I say, Brian. So talk about how meeting him at this time. age of your life has felt we've been friends for over 25 years he used to go to all my shows he was there for my baby shower oh my god that kind of thing never nothing never crossed the line he was my dearest friend he came to see me when i did beauty and the bees and he got there doing just before intermission and i'm like why are you here so late he's like well i thought it was
Starting point is 01:16:07 an opening that act like it is broadway there is no opening act here we've been friends for a long time and a love connection started happening happening like a couple years ago but also in not the way it's supposed to happen it's like everybody says friendship is supposed to to be at the North Star of everything. Yeah. We're so happy. That's what's up. Yeah, so shout out to them celebrating a year. People always wonder, like,
Starting point is 01:16:30 are they together? Are they not? Because they, you know, had like a little turbulence at one point. They just stopped talking about their relationship for a while. Yes. They just kind of like stopped talking about it. But congratulations. That's so nice. Yes. And we saw after the verses, there was the video that was going
Starting point is 01:16:46 viral when Tamar Braxton called Tony Braxton on FaceTime. So that she could celebrate with Birdman and he was just like I don't know they're just so in love in a video just the way he's talking to her is way different than what we get
Starting point is 01:16:58 of Birdman I also feel like we didn't talk enough about Tony Braxton being on tour with New Edition and Boys Demand like she is a part of that lineup as well yes and that's what she's out promoting that was her on Jenner friends she's out promoting the fact that she's on tour
Starting point is 01:17:11 and this is the first time that they're going on tour together and what that music will look like for them and on tour and fans I can't wait to go to those tour I'm going to a couple dates yeah I can't wait yes yes
Starting point is 01:17:23 I the feeling that you're gonna get you know what I mean like just that type of music you just huh the feeling of it speaking of tours
Starting point is 01:17:30 you want to be Rick Ross so bad he's breath funny he's so funny he's so mad that he's sitting over big and thick
Starting point is 01:17:39 and my breath is little and small and petite okay now speaking of tours as we end remember we were talking
Starting point is 01:17:46 about Maya and Money Long and the Brandi and Monica tour So last night, Money Long actually let the fans know that she's going to take a little bit more of a break because she's still dealing with the pneumonia and she wants to make sure she's all the way good. So Maya posted that she will actually be covering a few more dates of the tour for Money Long. So fans will get to see her for a bit. It actually started last night on a 30th.
Starting point is 01:18:10 And she says she'll be on the 31st date, which is tonight in Atlanta, November 1st in Greensboro, November 2nd and Baltimore. more, Jess. Hey. Yeah, she says she's looking forward to performing with her sisters as they send her love and her well wishes to money long for speedy recovery. And, you know, the tour promoters are telling me they're taking a day at a time with money long and just making sure she's all the way good because that's what's important first for anything else moves forward.
Starting point is 01:18:34 Yep, people definitely got to take care of itself. And on that note, happy birthday of Vanilla Ayes. Come on now, you're going to scare your in-law. Wow. Wow. You're an idiot, yo. No, we'll just walk up behind and go, New Day on Halloween.
Starting point is 01:18:54 Hey, yo, stop, y'all. That lady is staying in the house. Jess, who's Chris going to be for Halloween if you're smoky? Girl, I don't know. I don't know. He got to be Craig. That's the only right. He's not going to be Craig.
Starting point is 01:19:06 I don't know. He's got to be Craig. And I know he got a flannel in the clubhouse. He definitely did. But I don't know who he's going to be. the joke that that we had oh he can be big worm
Starting point is 01:19:20 he cannot be big worm yeah he's not big it's a costume yeah he's tall but he ain't like big what you mean
Starting point is 01:19:30 no he's a proud I'm not a black I'm super black okay yeah hey yo but I was that was the thing
Starting point is 01:19:37 like I thought about this idea a month to go the chat is to be ice and he be you know the Mexican
Starting point is 01:19:44 Like, you know, but... No, I'm glad you didn't do it. Yeah, that's why I was like, no, it's the story of time I'm out here for people. I'm not about it. We're really glad you didn't do that. Yeah, yeah, for sure. Just posted a video talking about Ice Baby. We walked behind Chris and her daughter.
Starting point is 01:19:56 He thought the s on Charlotte's chest stand for sassy. Very much. And somebody said, who's y'all was supposed to be stupid, man? Oh, somebody said, Chris can be Felicia. Hell yeah. You know, actually, I don't want to something. Oh, my goodness. Oh, my goodness.
Starting point is 01:20:12 All right. This is a lady. Here's the latest alone. I'm going to grind her at first. Now, Felicia, like, nah. Nah, y'all would kill that, though. That's another going to hold you. But you know who we really look like, yo.
Starting point is 01:20:23 Yo, it's a picture of Alicia Keys when she was a teenager, yo, and I swear Chris just looked just like this girl. Man, why is y'all playing that instant? This is a horrible show, man. Why do you keep playing with Chris? Now, Chris going to... Alicia Keyes is like a little Tom girl back. You call them Alicia Keyes.
Starting point is 01:20:39 You're going to be Britney Grinner. You better to start playing with Chris. Oh, sorry. Listen, we got the people's donkey coming up next. 1-8005-105-1. If you want to call up and give somebody the credit they deserve for being stupid, you can do it right now. It's the Breakfast Club.
Starting point is 01:20:55 It's your time to nominate a donkey of your own. Remember now? That's how they choose. Call in now. 800-585-105-1. Yes, donkey today for Friday, October 31st, Halloween. I want y'all to know this is a real crazy building, okay? I haven't seen a pirate hooker walking around here this morning,
Starting point is 01:21:13 and there's an inflatable penis, okay, just walking around the building. That's crazy. But on Fridays, we do the People's Donkey. You can call in and get somebody the credit they deserve for being stupid. So good morning. Who's this. Yo, what up? It's Keith from Brooklyn.
Starting point is 01:21:27 You heard. What up, Shalomay? Peace, Key from Brooklyn, you heard? Who you want to get the biggest one? Yeah. Yo, I want to give it to the brick lady. You probably heard of her. She had went on social media and complained saying that she got beat up
Starting point is 01:21:40 She got hit with a brick. They just found out that she was lying. She got three months in jail, yep. She got three months in jail and 10 years probation. I remember her. Didn't she try to say it was racially motivated, or am I making that up? No, no, no, it was a never black person. She was pretty much saying nobody tried to help her and all that stuff.
Starting point is 01:22:00 And she just felt out that she was lying. She raised all that money on GoFundMe. Yep, sure did. So, as a matter of fact, let Rudy Maher give her to pick a tee-ha. Let's do it. I know exactly you talking about. She's from Houston. Her name is actually Rhoda Osmond.
Starting point is 01:22:12 Yes, that's who it was. Good morning. Who's this? This is Sierra. Who do you want to get the biggest he haul, too? Okay, I want to give it to, let's say, Shantay for my job. She was sleeping with the boss. The boss got fired, and now she was left with her wet ass.
Starting point is 01:22:24 No, raise, no money, and she's angry. Dang. What you work at? I don't want to say that because I'm a trucker, and I don't want to mess up my bag. Got you. Period. But how you know her ass wet, though? I mean, obviously, if you're giving it up,
Starting point is 01:22:37 got left with cutting butt and butt with ass. So raise my money? I'm mad about the money. Why do you get fired? If I'm going to sleep with the boss, let's get the bag. Why are you sleeping with the boss and not getting the bag? That's true. Why do you, why the boss get fired?
Starting point is 01:22:49 I didn't want him to get fired. I actually liked the guy. He was, like, nice to everybody. Okay. It just happened. It was something out of eye control. Got you. Oh, damn.
Starting point is 01:22:57 All right. Well, thank you for calling. Good morning. Who's this? Hey, Ms. Gamble. Ms. Gamble? Yeah, Ms. Gamble. Ms. Gamble.
Starting point is 01:23:04 We want to get the biggest he-haught-to. I want to give the biggest stunky of the day to the media to people like the breakfast club, the news outlets. Okay, why? So I just believe that rhetoric matters, and I think the media elected Trump. I've been saying that the media elected Trump, even while Biden was in office, there was so much emphasis on what Trump was doing, what Trump, every single day you would see something about Trump. And all the good things that Biden and Kamala did, I feel like there was no reporting of it. Rhetoric matters. The breakfast club played a lot of influence and how.
Starting point is 01:23:36 you guys report on Biden even after like the debate the way Democrats brought down Democrats and it's like Republicans will never do that and rhetoric matters and even you Charlaman you had a lot to say negative I just feel like you have to just really be like intentional about the things we're saying we can't turn on each other Democrats can't turn no I am very intentional about what I say and I'm also not a Democrat but I'm also not going to lie to people
Starting point is 01:24:00 and you know what else you can't lie about you can't lie about what you see so I understand that you want to blame media, but is there any blame for President Biden? You know what you should do? You should read the original sin by Jake Tapper and you should read Kamala Harris' 107 days. And Kamala Harris said herself that it was reckless
Starting point is 01:24:17 for President Biden to make the decision to run again when everybody knew he was in the condition he was in. Good morning. Who's this? Man, this Don, from the Buckeye City. How yo? What's up, Don? What's the Buckeye City, Ohio? Yeah. Okay. Where at? Where at?
Starting point is 01:24:32 Columbus. Columbus. Salum. salute to everybody in Columbus, man. I forgot what station we were on in Columbia. Love Columbus. But who do you want to get biggest he hard to? Man, anybody in the state of Ohio that drive the Super Root. Why? Damn.
Starting point is 01:24:43 Man, the way that you folks drive out here needs to. For one, you got their entitled drivers, and then you got your new drivers. And it seemed like all of them own Super Roos, all up the road trying to run people. I've seen an old lady get ran off the road yesterday. I worked for FedEx. Yesterday, the old lady got ran off the road by two Super Roos. Damn. So you want a band?
Starting point is 01:25:02 All Subaru's in the state of Columbia, in the state of Ohio. Man, you tell what? You want to ban all Subaru's in the state of Ohio, Columbus specifically? Just the drivers, like, man. Okay. Thank you for calling, brother. And salute to everybody who listens to us on 106.7 to beat in Columbus. Good morning.
Starting point is 01:25:19 Who's this? My name is Ramina. Ramita? Ramina, yes. Ramina. Good morning. Yes. Who you want to get to do you for?
Starting point is 01:25:26 Hi, good morning. I want to give the donkey to DJ NB. Mm-hmm. Why? We were at a job. function last week and he was a DJ. We had a guest DJ's there. And he left us in like two-step limbo. The music choice was, what? I guess recipe desired, I guess. Well, you're about to get some beige. Let's sit back and enjoy this. Go ahead. N. V's here. He can't hear you. Envy. Anything
Starting point is 01:25:52 you want to say? No. I don't believe you. I don't believe you. What was he playing, Mama, the chain you like? What was the jams? It was, it was a mix. It was just a crazy mix. I bet you Envy played since you've been gone by Kelly Clarkton, didn't he? He played all types of crazy music. I know. I know. I see them getting that bag. We were confused. But we loved DJ Envy, but we were confused by him. Where was the venue? Where was the venue? Um, HQ in oceans. Atlantic City? Yes. Mm-hmm. Yeah, that beige, boy. That beige rage. I see it coming. He's trying to hold his composure. He's trying to hold it in. See, this is how you know he's lying.
Starting point is 01:26:32 Because the DJ after me was white And I rocked it so hard That they actually paid for an additional hour Now, it was a mixed crowd So it was white, it was black, it was Spanish And I played for everybody But if it was so bad Which it wasn't
Starting point is 01:26:46 Because everybody danced the whole night They wanted me to come back next year And they had to pay for an additional hour To keep the club actually open There was no black DJ after me I closed it out She was a good try, good shot That was good, you tried mama
Starting point is 01:26:58 But no you were wrong I'm gonna tell you something man There's this little rumor going around that's starting to bubble people starting to question your DJ acumen, you know what I mean? Funny Marco was up here and he was like, I'm not sure he's really a DJ.
Starting point is 01:27:12 Damn, yo. I think you might have to start going back live during the people's choice mix, man. Relax, please stop. Even young Nila up here, like, yo, let me get the mix on Friday. I don't know. Who is that standing behind you, yo, just been right there? He's actually fixing the board. I will ghost Naila
Starting point is 01:27:28 and I would ghost any DJ. No DJ can tie my shoe. I DJ every week. We can joke We can laugh, but when it comes to this, I will ghost any DJ including anybody you name. How many years you got? How many years you've been making money doing this DJ thing? I got enough. And I go from city to city
Starting point is 01:27:44 and I do it each and every weekend. Like I said, most can't tie my shoes. And it's cute. It's laugh. We could like it on this radio. Oh, you're really a DJ? Yes, I am. It's cute. We can have. We can joke. Ha ha ha ha ha. But most of these DJs can't time my shoes. You already know. I don't even
Starting point is 01:28:00 know a DJ that went to China. Most of these DJs cannot tie my shoes. They can't tie my laces. Okay. So don't get nobody in trouble. I knew that stage raise wanted to come out. Just be easy. I saw it.
Starting point is 01:28:13 Right, but you just play. You play, just be easy. I don't play. Just be easy. You plan what you plan? Be easy. I don't play. Listen, we do that every Friday.
Starting point is 01:28:20 The people's donkey. Call up 1-800-585-105-1. When we come back, we have yet another person. Funny Markham will be, John. I just said it's going funny marker. Questioning NV's DJ Accum. I don't know if you have to show. I don't somebody stop him.
Starting point is 01:28:33 I ain't I show nobody. It's the breakfast club. Come on. The Breakfast Club. Morning, everybody. It's DJ Envy. Just hilarious. Sholomey and the guy.
Starting point is 01:28:46 We are the Breakfast Club. Long of Rose is here as well. We got a special guest in the building. I'm sure he's nervous. Why? This man to cancel on us twice three times. He gets nervous. I'm sure he's nervous.
Starting point is 01:28:54 You're nervous? That's a lot. You did cancel him. It was only one time. Twice. No, it was not. Twice. It was twice.
Starting point is 01:28:59 It was twice. I don't know about the other time. That was part of your team reaching out to me that I didn't have. Well, funny, Marco, ladies and John. What's up? You can tell you with that. You got bluey tucked on the side of you. I'm so used to.
Starting point is 01:29:12 Yeah, yeah. Margo, you built a career off making people uncomfortable. I know how you start out. When is the last time you were uncomfortable on camera, Marco? I know what you're going to say. No matter. But, no. I don't, it never.
Starting point is 01:29:28 Okay, one time. When was the time? When was the time? one time. When it was your time? I don't know. I remember. It was so long ago.
Starting point is 01:29:36 I remember, but I don't want to say it. You don't want to say it. You know how you can say it. I don't remember. It just came back to me when you said it to me. I mean, you can say it. It was when you was with G. Herbo, right? It wasn't nervous.
Starting point is 01:29:49 It was just they trolling. I should have matched they trolling. And I learned a lot in that in that spot. Like, I could have said something. I could have spoke up. But I was just so, like, in character. Yeah. They were doing their job.
Starting point is 01:30:00 That's how they troll. So it was just. two of them. I ain't used. All right, one is cool. So I didn't match their energy.
Starting point is 01:30:07 So from that interview, I learned just to speak up. Even if it's your show, you know, just type of, like, y'all, let's get on script.
Starting point is 01:30:12 You know what I'm saying? So that's what I learned. They thought you was going to come a certain way. Yeah, so that's why they came with that type of energy. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Because let's get back on script,
Starting point is 01:30:21 because you troll. Yeah, I'm not necessarily troll because I don't speak on facts. Sometimes troll is like, you know how to talk and you like trolling, but I can make up some shit that you'd be like,
Starting point is 01:30:30 What is he talking about? Right. I can create some shit. You gotta be in you. Like the, you know, the Eminem store where I told me. Right, right. I don't really call what he does trolling. And like you, I don't know, because you, I told you, I never seen you DJ still to this day.
Starting point is 01:30:42 He don't. Damn. But I don't know why they call him DJ. Oh, my dude. He used to DJ. Speak out, envy. I have never, he's never got booked for all the time. I don't know.
Starting point is 01:30:52 I don't make money on the side. But you know, when I went on the show, he was flirting with me heavy, and I told him I have a man, he was like, I don't care. I'm not his man. I'm not his man. You're not gay. Why would you just say it like that if I was? No, no, no, I never. But you got a thing.
Starting point is 01:31:06 So you would buy it? I'm not. I'm just saying if I was how you asked, I wouldn't tell you. Oh, got you, got you, got you, got you, got you. I wouldn't say. He was just asking. He said he was flirting with you. He was.
Starting point is 01:31:16 If I was gay, he would not be my time. What you like? Oh, okay. Jalen hurts. Okay, okay. Yeah, yeah. That's what I'm supposed to. I see what you do.
Starting point is 01:31:27 What does he have over me? I'm just curious. What does he have over me? No, you just. You like a Frenchie a little bit. Oh, my God. That's my favorite type of this. I don't say it was ugly.
Starting point is 01:31:37 I'm just saying French. So was he a pit bull? No. What's he? I don't know. That's his type. So the funny in your name is not because you're hilarious. If you were gay, that would be your type.
Starting point is 01:31:46 I'm sorry. So the funny is not because you're hilarious is because you like funny. It just came from Kansas City. Somebody just called me like Funny Marco. That was my name, Marco. Got you got you. You know, funny. It used to be a gay slur back in the day.
Starting point is 01:31:59 Yeah, like you funny acting. I guess. You're funny. Remember what was that movie? You mean I'm funny? Like, funny, funny, funny? Oh, funny, yeah. You remember?
Starting point is 01:32:07 I didn't think of my clown. So that was just a situation in the movie. Don't say it was a slur. Like, everybody knew about that. No, I didn't know none about. No, I didn't know none about. No, yeah, yeah. You're not.
Starting point is 01:32:17 Yes, you are. You 30 was. 33. Oh. Oh. Oh, God. Damn. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:32:23 Don't play with you, my time. No, God. No, God. Don't think. Don't think. No, no. You come, my son. I really hate this.
Starting point is 01:32:29 crazy. No, I know, I know. How old are you? No, I'm 32. What? Yeah, I look 39. Don't play me. Damn. Damn. No, damn. Yo, what's up with you all today? I definitely thought. What you thought?
Starting point is 01:32:43 I was older. Yes. I was older. I really like you. Please. I like you too. I got some fake pages. Don't do that. I thought you were, because I'm 33. I thought you at least like 37. Okay. All right.
Starting point is 01:32:56 Because you're very well established. Don't do that. But. But. I will. You've been around for so long. Damn. In your defense, a lot of people do say that I, a lot of people say I do look older. It's like, whatever.
Starting point is 01:33:08 You don't look at a certain age. It's just how you act. You got to care yourself. Yeah, I get with yourself. I literally just said that to you and you got met. It's different from when, web it in. But I do, you have mastered awkward energy, and I do think that's a skill. Do you think it's a skill?
Starting point is 01:33:24 Yeah, it's just like childhood trauma with a camera. Just to know how to do it and want to turn it off. And that was one thing in the interview of, herbal and up like that what is gonna stop and there's going to be able to take it yeah I know that's what I said I it was it was he don't do that because he might be fluid all right like I said in the situation I was just overthinking they didn't do nothing wrong you what I'm saying so it was me overthinking and I didn't I'm not used to like checking sometimes if I ever get like I just shut up and just leave I didn't need to be checked
Starting point is 01:33:54 no I'm just saying how you feel not in the wrong way like all like it's okay to just say all right y'all let's talk like got you all right Let's get on script. You know what I'm saying? It's okay that. Tell me how you feel right now. I feel blessed. I feel alive.
Starting point is 01:34:07 Not nervous? How do you feel in this moment? Like, what do you want? Is anything you want to tell us? I want to know how you feel. No, I didn't come out. I'm not used to like pre-thinking. So when I think I say what I want to say right in the minute.
Starting point is 01:34:17 I'm not pre-thinking. If I do, if I do have something to say, I forget about it. So I don't like, you know, I'm not like a pre-n-n-k. You know what I pre-cheat? No, I pre-cheat sometimes. I have. In the heat of. Battle, your squad relies on you.

The Big Take podcast from Bloomberg News dives deep into one big global business story every weekday. A shutdown means we don't get the data, but it also means for President Trump that there's no chance of bad news on the labor market.
Starting point is 01:37:31 What does a bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich reveal about the economy? Our breakfast foods are consistent consumer staples, and so they sort of become outsize indicators of inflation. What's behind Elon Musk's trillion dollar payout? There's a sort of concerted effort to message that Musk is coming back. He's putting politics aside. He's left the White House. And what can the PCE tell you that the CPI can't?
Starting point is 01:37:56 CPI tries to measure out-of-pocket costs that consumers are paying for things, whereas the PCE index that the Fed targets is a little bit broader of a measure. Listen to the big take from Bloomberg News every weekday afternoon on the IHeart radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Pre-cheat, when you set up some just in case you'll go don't work out. What? So you already, you go into a relationship banking on it. No, I said, no, I say if.
Starting point is 01:38:26 Pre-cheating is weird, like, it's just, you ain't doing shit, but it's just like, you have it set up. Like, save me some shit on the side, bomb me up, so. That's some young shit. That is certainly some young shit. What I'm saying, I said I have, not no more. Okay. You're in a relationship now? Nah.
Starting point is 01:38:39 Okay, because I saw Sierra trying to help you. Yeah. That was pretty awesome. You had Lala. You could have had Lala? She was asked me up a day. Could you have had Lala? Oh, no, that's right.
Starting point is 01:38:47 He liked a relationship? Yeah. Oh, sorry. You got no taste. You like Star Wars? Huh? Huh? Wow.
Starting point is 01:38:55 You call it Chebaca? He tried to call me Jaja Bams. You're an amazing person. You're my sister. Absolutely. What you like about North? I have she carry herself. She knows how to talk, dress.
Starting point is 01:39:07 What about the hell for y'all? Y'all just shot. What happened with you with you? I thought you were trying something along like that. Yeah, she was really, really good. What happened? She was trying to throw you something and say, hollering, you just.
Starting point is 01:39:18 No, she wasn't. No, you was trying to shoot a shot. She was allowing you to shoot a shot. She was allowing you to shoot a shot. What's going on with you? Nice. It's just, um, Lala is one of them people that really, I can say an industry friend that helps you out, right? Why?
Starting point is 01:39:33 Trying to cut the tension between him and envy. The sexual tension is crazy. Indy is staring through that man. What the hell? Envy is a lot in order. The way he's brushing, why you're brushing? Indy was staring at him. All I kept here was take me through that, take me through that.
Starting point is 01:39:50 I'm like, what's wrong with you? You jealous? This is the person I've ever seen you jealous. I was. That was just crazy. He was jealous. Marco, you know how you be doing those things where, like, you fake talk to the women
Starting point is 01:40:01 like how you would date them? Yeah. What you did with Sierra? Do it with envy real quick. Just if you ever were interested, how would you look at them? No, I wouldn't be interested. No. Okay, I like that honesty.
Starting point is 01:40:11 Yeah, yeah, I wouldn't be. And I don't think he would be either, so it's even, right? No, you like chocolate. Yeah, not. I'm not gay. I'm not gay. I'm not gay. I'm not gay.
Starting point is 01:40:23 How long you've been in a relationship? She got two. Good question. I don't have two. I don't have two. I have one, and it's, it's fresh. It's been some months. We still got a shot.
Starting point is 01:40:32 No, he doesn't still have a shot. Oh, damn. Don't say it like that. Not like that, but just like, I'm good where I'm at. Yeah, I know. Your language was changing around that guy, too. I just want you to know about a couple months ago. I'm getting married.
Starting point is 01:40:42 That's my husband now. I was like, oh, it's been a couple of months. He asked how long have I been in a relationship? He didn't ask if we were getting married. What do you do for a living? That's too much questions. The same way he goes to a job for a living. Okay.
Starting point is 01:40:53 He's a barber. That's fine Barbers are getting money He stayed fresh Yeah, barbers are getting money Yeah, they're charging like 200 to cut He helped me You know, all the stuff
Starting point is 01:41:04 comes in the barbershop He knows what's going on So he sends me like topics and stuff How's that guy? And how's that I meet? He cut your hair? Damn! He are a professional
Starting point is 01:41:14 now, I'm a professional He can't Oh, because if he's got me He nicked it right here I don't know he nicked you Can you be faithful? Yeah. That's not what you said in the beginning.
Starting point is 01:41:27 In the beginning, you said you pre-cheat. I have. Manifesting. Yeah. I'm just said I have. Which child's mom did you pre-cheat on the? No, I know. Damn.
Starting point is 01:41:35 What is it? We just trying to figure out where is the relationship is. No. Wow. I'm actually, like, let me tell you this. No, no, no, I'm trying to tell you. This is not a good lie. I'm not cheat.
Starting point is 01:41:44 Let me tell you something. Can I tell you something? Go ahead. Again, is. You know what you're like, no. I'm trying to tell you. Go ahead. Say it.
Starting point is 01:41:51 Say it. So with my oldest child, that's the normal baby, like papas. My papas baby. You said the normal baby? The normal baby? Like, I'm saying when I was like, this is the, she was there before everybody. Yeah, this is, I'm, I'm big OG. You got bigger, they're the normal ones.
Starting point is 01:42:04 I know what the shit going on. Okay, baby mama. Yeah. Okay. Yeah, that's that. So with that been said, when we did not work out, I left too soon. I came home and said, you know what? I want to see somebody else.
Starting point is 01:42:16 And that led me into getting on child support, and it led me to like not getting to see my daughter a lot so I regret sometimes it's okay to cheat sometimes because when you say you're ready to go they'm like okay motherfucker you regret what what it's not okay to cheat I'm just saying I owned up to it I was you said it's okay to cheat sometimes
Starting point is 01:42:36 it's never okay to cheat sometimes it's never okay to cheat I'm just telling you for whoever it is out there because they said it's cheaper to keep her sometimes if you do do some just make sure she don't find out well listen no this honestly I'm talking about these brothers don't cheat black men don't cheat
Starting point is 01:42:51 They do. You cheated. What? You cheated. Yes, I was a black boy. That's the difference. You're the old. What the, black boy?
Starting point is 01:42:59 How old were you were you cheated? I was, how old were you cheated? You know, Marco, you're asking. Yeah, exactly. Yo, what the f is all this down? No. No. It's not about the age.
Starting point is 01:43:10 It is. You're not about the mindset. You can be in your early 30s to be immature. I'm a little boy. I'm breaking in somebody car. I'm a little boy right now. You can be in your 30s and still be immature. I was an immature.
Starting point is 01:43:21 you're a little boy. Let a 50-year-old breaking your car and stealing your I'm a boy still I'm still learning He can identify as a kid But the 50-year-old is breaking into your car
Starting point is 01:43:28 He has a young mindset That's the truth No, that's a million dad But 50-year-old is breaking your car He has a mindset Absolutely But here's the ball of the story Cheating is not good
Starting point is 01:43:36 And I can promise you That when I can But you got to do it to learn Sometimes you got to hurt God by damn You got to hurt people To understand sometimes That you know to know how that feel
Starting point is 01:43:45 And when you get to you can hurt my wife now I'm just I ain't talking about your shit Yeah yeah I ain't talking about your shit Because we do hurt them It's not like that's our intention is not to hurt them. I have women say that too. What?
Starting point is 01:43:55 Crazy. Because your intention is not to hurt somebody. But if she's not, now you're doing something that will hurt them. That's why they try not to get caught. Right. They. That's what I'm trying to say is,
Starting point is 01:44:04 even if you do get caught and that's why women got to leave, man. When they do do that, they got to leave them because at the end of day, you're going to learn. And when you learn, I'm helping the women community because now you know not to do this again. And if it hurt you, you got to learn sometimes. Let me tell you something. It sounds like the problem that you have. Not me. I'm saying, we just talking about a conversation.
Starting point is 01:44:23 Okay, check your phone. Bring it down. Just, huh? Let's text you. Check your phone, yeah. I ain't got my phone on me. I'm done. The problem is, I'm sorry.
Starting point is 01:44:29 He can't read the damn message. Listen, the problem is you have to be careful who you procreate with. Exactly. That's the problem. That is right. And that, because that is, that's what my book is about you. I'll read it to you one day, but I'm telling you. What they say?
Starting point is 01:44:45 What's the name of it? Till death, do we parent? Available pre-wish-old. Do we parent? Do we parent? Until death, do we parent? You're going to need to read that because you got through your baby mom. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:44:55 That book is about just co-parenting. I'm going to go on a tour with it. I absolutely, absolutely, yeah. I know, I got you. But that's what it sounds like your problem was, like you have to be able to find out everything you can about somebody. You got to even know the person that you are trying to create people with. Exactly. That's important.
Starting point is 01:45:15 Well, what's your end goal, Marco? Where do you see the funny Marco brand going where do you want it to go? Manifesto. I love a universe right now. If I can, I want to be a director and be able to get people platforms. It also help out a lot of stand-up comedians that really are doing it for years, but they don't have a following. So I feel like now they're pushing that on, like, you know,
Starting point is 01:45:32 people that get following do stand-up. And there's some people that really been doing it for years, and it's just hard for them to break it because now it's about your face card. Yeah. I feel like fame is about how much they see you now, not how well you good at what you do. And it's some people that they're that's really great at acting. And, you know, stand-up podcasting. And it's just hard for them to be seen.
Starting point is 01:45:52 So that's why I love what Nick Cannon do. He helped out a lot of people. And it's like, when you think of Nick Cannon, he's like, damn, what do he do he do? You know, but he does a lot. Like, you just don't know, oh, he's a comedian. So 50 cent, too, as well, that get people, like, it's no, I'm not, it's just not one thing you can do in life. So you want to do for others what you did for Bobby? But this time, it's going to be black people and a black woman.
Starting point is 01:46:12 Yeah, I've done a lot for it. I got a lot of people that I was going to bring my job here, but you know what the I work for a lot of people. I help a lot of people out. Yes. Is this just another white woman to hear with you, Marco? Oh, my God. I don't want to say anything.
Starting point is 01:46:23 I didn't want to say anything. You said you don't know her. I'm not discriminating. I'm not doing this same. I didn't say that. I love white women. No, I do know her. I didn't say that.
Starting point is 01:46:34 He's just pointing. How is that my girl? She's on the tune of the podcast. But you didn't see how she pointed back like there was a whole bunch of black women back there. That's what you did. I mean, honestly, Michael, that's what you did. You were like, I look at me and you like, well, okay, the people out there, I'm sorry for how he act. He really is a good guy.
Starting point is 01:46:50 It's just say some fucking shit from time to time, but he really has a heart. Shout out to Jess. You've been doing your thing. Thank you. You really do good with reading and delivering messages outside of queer rooms. I still don't know what you do, but again, and you're good at what you do. And sometimes
Starting point is 01:47:04 I see you, sometimes you don't. And it seems like you start stuff and you don't finish it. It's like you start interviews and then you stop the black and white stuff you had going on with different artists and you went to people. I'll just talking about your face. Yeah. No, no, no, I'm just saying, I see. It just seems like he just starts and just stops.
Starting point is 01:47:23 What did you touch? He's a beautiful person. He is. He's beautiful. Shout out to us for being alive. It's important. That's right, man. All praises do to God.
Starting point is 01:47:31 Funny Marco, keep going, funny Marco. Okay? You coming back? Yeah. I love New York. I had to sit down here for a minute. No, I mean here instead of breakfast. New York is dope.
Starting point is 01:47:42 What you do is very intelligent. I'm telling you, that's a skill set. Like, there's not too many people who can do that. Some of your beard are gone, too. Oh, he said some of his gone? Yeah. Oh, okay. Why are you looking at his mouth?
Starting point is 01:47:53 The Popeye's green burned to me. Oh, my God. Stop. He was born like that. His fall of pride. He didn't even, you can't talk about my brother or anything. Oh, my, oh, my, I'm sorry. I was born like that.
Starting point is 01:48:06 I thought he was shooting. You shot at me. I shot back real quick. What happened to your face? When you, sometimes when you are, and this is why it's good to start adopting people because sometimes when you are growing up with some stuff, some parents. don't look into it. Sometimes he'd be okay.
Starting point is 01:48:20 So my agony got worse and worse. And it was some things that my mama could have been on top of. Gotcha. And it was just getting worse and worse. And Dr. Natasha Sandio fixed that. Yes. I don't think so. You never seen my discoloration back in there? I really didn't look into it. Yes. I got so much shit going on.
Starting point is 01:48:35 That's a lie. Because you text me one time back in the top of, man, what you do to your face? No, I didn't say that. I promised you. Little Duval said, I need to do what you did to your face. And that's why I asked. Yes. Something happened.
Starting point is 01:48:46 I remember you were asking me what you do. He said, you need to say, you need to do it. He said, you need to ask him what the fuck he did in his face. So I asked. I love it. It's the face community. I love that. That's right.
Starting point is 01:48:54 Black men take care of each other. Thank you. Thank you. All right. Thank you, Funny Marco. Funny Marco, think about it in the chat too, ma'am. All right, W's in the chat, y'all. W's in the chat, y'all.
Starting point is 01:49:03 It's funny, Marco. It's in the breakfast club. Good morning, chat. We see y'all tomorrow chat. Yes, bye, chat. Love ya. No, I love y'all. No, this is fun.
Starting point is 01:49:10 I could have been like 30 more hours. I can actually work up here. The Breakfast Club. Morning everybody is D.J. N.V. Just hilarious. Shalermaine de Guy. We are the breakfast club. Let's get to pass the oaks. Go. What, go. What's up?
Starting point is 01:49:27 DJ, because that's my DJ. Say, go, DJ, because they're my DJ. Yeah, DJ, come spin, I come spinning. Vin Nyla, Simone. What's happening? What's up, guys? I wish I knew y'all was dressing up. I would have dressed up, too. Damn, where you would have been?
Starting point is 01:49:45 You not dressed up? I thought you was, what did you follow me? You follow me. Don't play. Don't play. Just say a vibe. No, I'm always a vibe. That's daily. Okay, okay, okay, okay. Yesterday, we went as me and my boyfriend. Why are you acting blind? Right?
Starting point is 01:49:58 I got shades on. You looking at home. You look out. Y'all told me I looked like I just came from a party, so I put the shades on. Okay, okay, okay. You know your boyfriend when it's who? As coming to America, king and queen. Because you know he's African?
Starting point is 01:50:12 Oh, so he was Hakeem and you was Lisa? Yes. That's fire. Oh, that is fire. And we did a little skit. I'm going to post it later today. But then, today I'm going to be a pirate because you know Ivy's having a party. Okay, salute the big Ivy, Ivy Rivera.
Starting point is 01:50:24 And that's it, but I would have been a pirate today. All right, that's dope. Okay. Y'all might have to do that, though, for citizenship. Excuse me? What? Nothing. Nothing.
Starting point is 01:50:32 No, no. Shut up. You always get that's a dope idea. Anyway, anyway. Hakeem and Lisa is fire. Anyway. Because you know he's African. You know.
Starting point is 01:50:41 But, all right, I want to get into this new Kodak and Farrell record called Mumblewreck. Fire! Yeah, that's it, that's good. That's good. Fire. We dropping a coupon for that one. Dropping a coupon for Kodak. I moved for Kodak, man.
Starting point is 01:50:55 I like Kodak a lot. I like Kodak music, man. I want Kodak to win. I want Kodak to heal and do whatever he got to do to get right. I want him to win. Love Kodak, too. I wonder if that's new or they've been sitting on that for a while. Who put that up?
Starting point is 01:51:07 I feel like they've been sitting on that for a while. It has both of their names that's Kohl primary, so I'm not sure if it's one or the other. That's dope. Salute to Yack. Saluta Farrell. For all the way. Ferreira will never get too big for nobody. Pause, but yeah, now he doesn't.
Starting point is 01:51:19 Oh, what? No, yeah. It's freaking Friday. It's freaky Friday. Next, I'm going to give you guys an R&B record from Eli Derby and J-O-N, and it's called Slowdown. Most definitely, a vibe. That's the wind-down vibe. You know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 01:51:34 Light a little blicky. Do what that is? If you will. Eli Derby. Eli Derby. Sloop to Eli Derby. That's what's out. And it's produced by J-O-N, but Eli's also from the DMV.
Starting point is 01:51:43 It's not like that. You got to envy over there and his feelings. That's hard. I like it. Yeah, I know. You feel like a little freaky fruit cup, don't you? Excuse me? What? What?
Starting point is 01:51:50 What? How's sassy, man? That's what you're standing? That's what you're just standing for sassy. Okay. Exactly. No name just dropped a new record called 100 acres is actually really fire. Okay.
Starting point is 01:52:02 Okay, well, I thought it was really fire. I like that. I like what she rapping about. Yeah, I like the substance of it. I like the substance of it, you know? It's kind of like when you walk down the street and somebody hands you a pamphlet of Jesus. And then just bust out. You take it.
Starting point is 01:52:14 You know what I mean? You know? Ripping on any beat. Yeah, it's not like you can't deny. I can't, I be like, nah, I don't want that. Yeah, yeah, yeah. You know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 01:52:22 So you just take the, you sit there and listen. Yeah, so I like the substance of it, but I feel like the music part left a little bit to be desired. Did you not like the production or you did not like delivery?
Starting point is 01:52:32 I don't know what I feel like, I feel like it was a cipher. You know how they just give you a beat until you go up there? Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Like she just jumped in the cipher and just freestyle and just freestyle. That's a great point, yeah.
Starting point is 01:52:42 If that was like a BET T cyphor and she was just rapping, You got busy. Okay. But as a song, it's cool. Yeah. It's cool. It's all right.
Starting point is 01:52:50 It don't sound mixed. I'll take it. I don't know what she said. The mixed part. It doesn't sound mixed. It doesn't sound mixed. Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, I got you, got you, got you, got you, got you, got you, got you. It just don't sound mixed.
Starting point is 01:53:02 I thought you meant like it didn't sound by racial. I was like, what? No, crazy. What did that does do with anything? It didn't sound mixed. Last song, last song, it's called a pun arrival. Um, is by Dollar and French Montana. This is the root mix.
Starting point is 01:53:14 I'm a French fan. Where is that from? I just like French. It's DJ Holiday, Jay Dimes. It's originally a holiday, Jay Dimes, and Dollar's record, and then French Montana got on the remix. Okay, Sluke. Sluke French.
Starting point is 01:53:26 Yeah, salute to French. It's nothing I haven't heard before, though. You know what I mean? Like, it didn't sound like anything like I haven't heard before. Nothing groundbreaking there. It's cool. Once again, it's a cool. Some of these records just be there.
Starting point is 01:53:36 You know what I mean? Nala, you disrespectful. Wale, your guy? You ain't played Walee record today? Oh, the Walee and Othiel. There was a lot of other records. Brifias is my guy. He also dropped the record.
