Happy to be here, another day to serve our beautiful listeners.
Starting point is 00:03:00 Good morning. Hey. Let me tell you something, man. What? I rolled in this morning listening to Juvenile's new album. Oh, yeah. Recruit with Meg is crazy. If you're born in the 1900s, you should be very happy right now.
Starting point is 00:03:13 Yeah, juvenile spent. I mean, you got T.I. out here cooking. Okay, with let them know. You got juvenile out here cooking with that record with making the Stylian. But the whole album, tough. Really? Oh, the whole album, tough, man. And he makes age-appropriate music.
Starting point is 00:03:29 Really? I ain't listening to it. It's called F-something Mendoza. Talked that language. Come on. Now, you're talking my language. He's born in 1900-something. If you born in 1978 like me, that's it.
Starting point is 00:03:44 He just wanted F-something and doze off. He said, you know, you come home. You know, you don't really want to do nothing much. You know, you just want to kick it with your little one. And then that's something. Don't know. Why are you talking my language? You heard me?
Starting point is 00:03:57 Jesus Christ. God damn, Julie. I like age-appropriate music, okay? I'm 47 years ago. I'll be 48. That's age-appropriate. Yes, it is. All right.
Starting point is 00:04:06 Well, today on the show, from HGTV rehab addict, Nicole Curtis will be joined us. I don't like the way you're setting this up. Okay. I was going to go to the... First of all, I gave her a donkey here a day a couple of weeks ago. She is the white woman who was doing some renovations on the house. Correct. And for whatever reason decided to yell out...
Starting point is 00:04:25 Fart. Fart N-word. Yes. Yes. She yelled out fart inward. And she heard me give her a donkey today. Yes. And her people reached out to actually Lauren Lerosa.
Starting point is 00:04:34 Correct. And I don't know why she decided that she wanted to come on in Breakfast Club. Talk about this situation. She said, I guess you wanted to clean her air. I don't... Okay. Okay. I don't know what I don't want to...
Starting point is 00:04:48 I don't know what she expects the game. Okay, but we're going to talk to him a little bit also. You know, yesterday you said, I guess, I was going to say retrograde. Mercury was in retrograde, right? Mercury's and Gatorade. And you said you was off, and you said it was a shift, and you were to feel right. Well, Saturday night, I was at a play with my daughter and my wife. And yes, I just felt like an energy shift.
Starting point is 00:05:10 And, you know, when I started talking to people about it, they started telling me about, well, time moved forward. I'm like, no, I felt this Saturday evening. And then people was like, well, Mercury is and. retrograde. I don't know what it is. I just know that on Saturday evening I felt some type of energy shift that had me off for the last 48 hours. I'm just actually back getting
Starting point is 00:05:27 getting a little right. Now I asked you what his name was and you said shut up and now are you coming with your wrist wrapped up so you went ham on him last night. You went ham on him last night. I don't understand why you want to use gay as a joke of it. I'm not.
Starting point is 00:05:43 I don't get it. I'm asking the truth. I'm just asking to you. I came in here talking about juvenile and effing something in dozing off. Well, you can. We talked about Nicole Curtis, and then you're just brain with your- I'm just asking what's up in your wrist. I want to know,
Starting point is 00:05:54 why is penis on your brain at 603 in the morning? Like, why is that a thought of you? I'm just asking you. Is there a reason? Did you go ham last night? Is there something you want to explore? I don't want to explore anything.
Starting point is 00:06:06 Like, don't you know, everybody looks at, you don't think at 604 in the morning. This man ain't even had breakfast yet. And he automatically thinking about me with another man. I'm just asking you. That said a lot about you. Your arm is a little your hand.
Starting point is 00:06:18 I'm just asking if you went ham last night. There's a lot about it. You are from Queens, you big old queen. Yo, shut up, man. Let's get the show cracking, man. You'll start up with the juvenile record? Yes, I do. B.B. with Megan Esty. On the album, it's a young lady named Genesis to God, though.
Starting point is 00:06:32 But we'll discuss. I'm sure Juvia will be here at some point this week. Really? Yes. All right. It's the breakfast club. Good morning. Morning, everybody. It's DJ NV.
Starting point is 00:06:39 Jets hilarious. Sholomey and the guy, we are the breakfast club. That was juvenile. And Megan Asteyin, Joubi said, got your lipstick all over my Dior sweater. you want your hair pulled and your ass back real hard. You're going to find out effing with an old nigga. Make that age-appropriate music, damn it.
Starting point is 00:06:53 That's what I'm talking about. Okay? Oh, my goodness. Mimi, why are you laughing so hard? Let's get some front-page news. What's up, Mimi? Peace, Mimi. Good morning, everyone.
Starting point is 00:07:01 How are you doing this morning? Bless black and highly favorite. Good morning. Okay, so we begin this morning with an update on the war in Iran and some mixed signals from President Trump on how soon this conflict could end. So at a news conference yesterday, the president said U.S. military objectives against Iran are, quote, pretty well complete and suggested the war could end very soon. But in that same breath, he also said the United States hasn't won enough and warned that more
Starting point is 00:07:26 strikes could happen. Let's listen to some of that press conference. On Iran, you called it an excursion. You said it would be over soon. Are you thinking this week it will be over? No, but soon. I think so. Okay. And with respect to me, very soon. You know, you could look at that statement. We could call it a tremendous success right now as we leave here. I could call it, or we could go further, and we're going to go further. The big risk on that war has been over for three days. We wiped them out in the first two days, so the rest is going to be determination as to my attitude along with the people in the Trump administration of what we want to do. It's amazing how predictable he is. I mean, there's been people that have been saying
Starting point is 00:08:08 for the past three, four days that he was going to declare victory and have to pull out because there's really no other way to escalate. there's no other way other than escalation that's just going to be very, very bad. Yeah. Well, even though he said that you know, meanwhile on the ground, the fighting is still continuing U.S. and Israeli forces. They carried out new attacks inside Iran
Starting point is 00:08:27 hitting military basins, bases, weapons depot, and oil storage facilities. Video from the Capitol, it shows massive fires, everything basically on fire, the roads on fire, streets, trees, everything. And so the war,
Starting point is 00:08:44 it is now creating a major disrupt. and global oil supply. So much of that concern, it centers around the straight of Permuz. It's that narrow shipping lane where about 20% of the world's oil, it passes through every day. And right now, shipping traffic through that route, it has dropped shortly, and by some estimates, as much as 95% since the war began. And so that disruption is pushing gas prices here in the United States, much higher. I know we talked about it being 30 cents earlier in the week. It is now up roughly 50 cents more. since, yeah, since the war began.
Starting point is 00:09:17 And the U.S. Navy says it may begin escorting oil tankers through that straight to protect them, but there's still no timeline yet of when that could happen. Now, meanwhile, the president at that same press conference, he was asked about possible Iranian sleeper cells inside the United States. Let's listen to what he had to say about that. They've been trying for a long time. We've been very much on top of it. One of the things we have to do is get the Democrats to stop the Democrat shutdown.
Starting point is 00:09:42 because, as you know, the apparatus that looks into that, Schumer and the Democrats have shut it down, which tells you they probably hate our country a lot. But we've got very, very good intelligence into that. We know a lot of different things that have happened that have been very bad. A lot of them came in during the Biden open border period. We're watching every single one of them. Yeah, we know a lot about them. But the shutdown doesn't allow us to do what we have to do.
Starting point is 00:10:09 Yeah, he's referring to that, partial government. shut down for the Department of Homeland Security. And while the fighting is happening, thousands of miles away, of course, that impact is being felt here in the United States, both in security concerns, as we just heard, and what drivers are paying for in gas. And meanwhile, in Washington, President Trump, he is also making a major push on a voting bill. He says must pass immediately.
Starting point is 00:10:31 We've been talking about this as well. The Save America Act. The president now says that he will not sign any other legislation until Congress approves that same bill, the Save America. America Act out that bill would require people to prove U.S. citizenship when registering to vote and show photo ID when casting a ballot in federal elections. Trump is urging lawmakers to expand the measure. He's adding new limits on that, including limits to mail-in ballot, and a provision that now bans transgender individuals from competing in women's sports. Now, supporters say that this bill will protect elections and prevent fraud. But Democrats, they are calling it Jim Crow 2.0 in arguing that it will make.
Starting point is 00:11:12 it harder for Americans to vote. Now this measure, it has passed the House, but it is now stalled in the Senate, and it will likely need Democratic support to move forward. Let's listen to some of the president on that. So in order to get it, you're going to need Democrat votes. We want voter ID. We want a voter. We want to be able to see a picture of the voter. We want to be able to see that the voter is legitimate. We want, very importantly, confirmation that this voter is a citizen of the United States of America. And we want no mail-in ballot. scams. We've added two things to it. No men and women's sports and no transgender. And the only one opposed to it is a Democrat leadership because they cheat and we're going to have to fight
Starting point is 00:11:53 like hell. But we don't have a country if we're going to have elections that are so corrupt and so dishonest like we've witnessed over the last period of time. Don't believe anything that comes out of his mouth. Is this the same one that is this the same bill that everybody will have to re-register to vote? Well, yes. It's part of that. Although he He hasn't come out and say that. They're thinking about making people do that, but what they're adding now is the transgender part. Charlemagne, that's the new part of the Save America Act.
Starting point is 00:12:20 And you're right. This deal is not... What did I miss? What happened? No, the reason I'm laughing is because I was just remembering them commercials that Trump did. It had me and Charlemagne in the commercials, and it had nothing to do with him, but he used it against Kamala Harris.
Starting point is 00:12:38 Okay. I don't think that's why he's laughing. No, I was. I have no idea was he started. I just know you said transgender and he looked at me and started dying for whatever reason. Well, listen, either way, it is very important to note that this bill will disenfranchise a lot of people, including women who have gotten married. They say about 69 women in the U.S.
Starting point is 00:12:55 have taken their husband's last name, so it will not match their birth certificate. And transgender Americans could face similar hurdles because some have legally changed their name and their genders on their IDs. Man, the picture. The picture on the ID. And the picture. Absolutely. Jesus Christ.
Starting point is 00:13:11 All right. Absolutely. All right. Well, coming up at 7, we're going to talk about the airports across the country and how it is a lot of chaos going on. So if you're flying soon, you'll want to hear this. We're going to talk about that in the next hour. Now, maybe I also seen on the news that there were some gas stations in California that they were saying that $8 a gallon for gas. That's crazy.
Starting point is 00:13:29 $8.20. I saw that. $8 a gallon? Absolutely. But gas was already high here in California. So this is not adding. This is not helping. But you know what I'm so.
Starting point is 00:13:39 Jesus. It's crazy. It's crazy. All right. Well, we'll see you next hour, Mimi. Okay. Everybody else, get it off your chest. 800-585-105-1.
Starting point is 00:13:47 If you need to vent, call us right now. It's the breakfast club. Good morning. I'm telling. I'm darling. Hey, what you doing, man? Oh, darling. I'm calling you.
Starting point is 00:13:56 This is your time to get it off your chest. Whether you're mad or blessed. 800-5-85-105-1. We want to hear from you on the breakfast club. Hello, who's this? What's my envy? What's up, Tribe? Hey, chin, chen, chen, Jen and jazz.
Starting point is 00:14:11 Hey, Boo. What's up, Shar? Pieces. What's happening? Listen, I'm just calling. Y'all, y'all I'm getting on this. Y'all know I'm terrified flying. I think I told you all that every time I'm about to get on the plane.
Starting point is 00:14:21 So keep me in your prayers. When I get on these planes tomorrow. You scared of flying, but not a ride. Whoa. Oh, my Jesus. Do you stop it? Whoa. He said, he started blushing.
Starting point is 00:14:33 Oh, my God. You stop. I'm praying for you, Boo. I'm praying for you. Let me add, yo, just give yourself a little extra time. Because, yes, when we flew out Sunday. when I say the lines were The lines were so crazy that
Starting point is 00:14:44 I mean it was like a two hour wait To get through TSA So give yourself a lot of extra time Yeah So we're leaving at 9 So I'm gonna get there probably like 7 Yep Yeah I'm gonna get there probably like 7th
Starting point is 00:14:57 But uh I'm gonna I'm gonna Austin and Saur Oh for Sondbott Southwest Oh yeah you're right You're right you're right I hope you have a great show my brother Go rock the mic Yeah yeah I'm gonna definitely rock the mic
Starting point is 00:15:09 I've been in rehearsal like the last five days and we're gonna kill our show. Nothing like here. That's what it is. Good luck. All right, y'all. All right, Trave.
Starting point is 00:15:19 Hello, who's this? Good morning. It's easy from Brooklyn. Easy. What's up? Get it off your chest, easy. Yo, good morning, good morning, breakfast, son.
Starting point is 00:15:26 Peace, easy. What's up, brother? What's good, Shala? Yo, Envi, I got some thing about your comments yesterday about March 9th. The greatest rap of all time down on March 9th.
Starting point is 00:15:36 Go ahead. Yeah, yesterday I heard you say that the comments was that you didn't want to play Biggie on March night because of Miss Wallace. I thought that was caught out of contest because she said she didn't like it, that they played her son's music more than they did on his death day. I don't think we should get rid of, you know, I know I understand her wishes that's her son and all, but I think if you ask big, envy, they'd be like envy.
Starting point is 00:16:02 I don't care if they play my music of March 9, April 1st, it don't matter, As long as they play in me, I'm good. Yeah, now, I mean, I play big music all the time, but I always heard that comment from him and DRock that said that... Her and DRock. Yeah, her and DRock, that they don't necessarily love to celebrate, quote-unquote, the day that he passed. Like, you know, to celebrate his life.
Starting point is 00:16:23 So because of that, I just stopped doing a mix on Biggie's birthday. I'm going to do a mix this Friday, of course, for Big, but I just don't want to, you know, I kind of try to pay my respects. And I wanted to play a big yesterday, even to the point with Shalman was, yo, Ms. Big said this. You know, you want to play big. No, what happened was, Envy said, man, Ms. Wallace said that she didn't like for us to celebrate the day that he died
Starting point is 00:16:43 and then he told Red, but pull up juicy. I just wanted to hear, I wasn't going to do a mix. I wasn't going to do a mix, but I just wanted to hear a big record, but I'm going to play, I'm going to play some of the mix today, and I'm going to do a full mix on Friday, brother. All right, get it off your chest. 800-585-105-1. If you need to vent, hit us up now.
Starting point is 00:17:01 It's the breakfast club. Good morning. It's a new day. This is your time to get it off your chest. Wait. Wake up. Whether you're mad. or blast.
Starting point is 00:17:08 It's time to get up and get something. Call up now. 800-585-105-1. We want to hear from you on the Breakfast Club. Hello, who's this? Hey, this is Marcella. Morssela. Good morning.
Starting point is 00:17:20 Where are you calling from? I'm calling from New York City right now. I'm in the Bronx. In the Bronx. Oh, my God. You know, the craziest people come from the Bronx and all of Florida, right? She don't sound like she feel good.
Starting point is 00:17:30 What's wrong? Period on. Hello? Hello. Hey, talk to us. What? I'm going to get her off your chest. With the State America Act.
Starting point is 00:17:38 I just heard you're talking about it. And one thing I wanted to say was that Trump is very good at being a deflector. He used words that are going to penetrate people's fear. And the first thing when people hear Save America, they're going to be forward. And when they hear the Transgender Act, the part, they're not going to think about anything else that's attached to that act. All they're going to hear is transgender, which is a lot of people are against. And they don't realize what the tail end of that act is.
Starting point is 00:18:05 and they're going to allow him to restructure this whole voting thing, which in a way he's almost illegally dealing the election later on down the road. Yes, you're absolutely right. I mean, he is good with words, but I don't think it's going to work this time because you can't have the big bill that's about, you know, restructuring voting, but then just, you know, as Mimi said, add a little bit transgender to it and, you know, think people are going to be, you know, for it.
Starting point is 00:18:32 Yeah, I hope not because I feel like he's definitely on people fears. And I feel like that's how he got elected the second time around with just those strong power words of Ford and waste and things like that. And if people don't pay attention, they're going to try to put pressure on a Democratic Party and the rest of the people that's against it
Starting point is 00:18:51 and not realizing what his ultimate goal is. He's a master magician. He knows how to deflect and have you look at what he's doing with his left hand when you really got to pay attention to what he's doing with his right hand. Yeah, absolutely right. I don't think people are more awful at this time. I think people are way more concerned about, you know, their votes being manipulated than they are transgender.
Starting point is 00:19:14 Hello, who's this? Hey, what's having to envy? What's your name? What's my name? What you call it from? I'm from Dallas. Okay. Dallas.
Starting point is 00:19:26 Hey, so I got to talk about couldn't have me wreck this too. We're not going to have Drisky back on the, for interviews, because it's crazy on the episodes. man. Drusky is invited up here anytime he wants to come. Hey, Drews, he got to pull up, bro. You got to talk about your girlfriend, man, and your baby mama. I seen a reality show the other day about Studge, man.
Starting point is 00:19:47 And I was like, but Drusky really has opened up a new lane for Studge. I don't think Studge. Because he built like one. He what? He built like one. He built like one. He built like one. What was that?
Starting point is 00:19:57 Why? Why you just shot at Drusky like that? It's not a child. Look, because when you love something, you were in it wholeheartedly. So that's really what it is. I ain't never seen no size as big as Drewski. I'm gonna be honest with it.
Starting point is 00:20:13 Never did. I don't know where you been. That's crazy. Solomon, you don't go outside. Yeah, I ain't never seen no study as big as Drewski. Not height-wise. Maybe, maybe... What?
Starting point is 00:20:21 Husky. Man, I don't... The best podcast, they'd be out. The big stars like that. You probably thought one of them was Drusky. But yes, they'd be out of it. Damn.
Starting point is 00:20:32 Get it off your chest. 800, 585, 105-1. What's up, Laura? Good morning. How you feeling? Hello, Kubey. How are y'all? You're looking like you want to work for UPS all week.
Starting point is 00:20:41 What's up? Wow. Round your color this week. Wow. Shut up. We have the ladies coming up what we talk about. We talked about Rihanna's. So yesterday we talked about the shooting at Rihanna's house, and I told you guys that
Starting point is 00:20:50 there was a suspect that was arrested, but now we know that she was booked on attempted murder, which says a lot about motive. All right. We'll get into that next. It's the breakfast club. Good morning. Morning, everybody. It's DJ NVJ J.
Starting point is 00:21:02 Just hilarious. Sholomey and the guy. We are the breakfast club. to the latest with Lord. Here, let your talk, L.L. Cube. Yeah. I'm not dumbing myself down.
Starting point is 00:21:10 I'm being myself. Take me through that. That source is tough. I'm the homebred that knows a little bit about everything and everything. Warren. The little brown girls look at you and go, I want to be like you. Take me through that. Take me through that.
Starting point is 00:21:23 Where is she going? The latest with Lauren knows. Take me through that. On the breakfast club. L.L. Coolbe. Talk to me. L.L. Cool, ba.
Starting point is 00:21:32 Good morning. So I told you guys that I was going to. to stay on the beat of this, the shooting that happened at Rihanna's house. So yesterday, police released information to some media, and they sent us this info. They said, they let us know that the person or the suspect
Starting point is 00:21:47 that was arrested for the shooting at Rihanna's home. Her name is Ivana Lissette Ortiz. She's 35 years old. She was booked on attempted murder. And the... As she should have been. Right. But when I saw that because not only she booked under attempted murder, her bail is over $10 million.
Starting point is 00:22:03 Right? So when I saw that, I'm like, okay, well, they must know something about, like, motive or, like, at least they think they do. So I did ask them, like, have you guys identified the motive behind the shooting, which they wouldn't release any more information on? But the penal code that's next to, like, the charge that they booked her on. When I looked it up, it means that you take a direct step toward intentionally killing another person without success. It requires a specific intent to kill in a direct action. I mean, the action was the shooting outside of the home. But, yeah, so she is currently locked up in a L.A. County jail.
Starting point is 00:22:35 right now. But you know what's crazy? She also needs to be in a psych ward. Yes. So we're going to get into that. That woman is clearly suffering from schizophrenia. Clearly. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:22:43 So once her name was released and her birthday was released, the outlets and people begin to do what they do, digging on social media. And there are a few reported social media posts. There's video and there's also like just actual post on Facebook. So I want to play. There's a video that she posted to her Instagram where she is actually, and she is Ivana,
Starting point is 00:23:05 suspect mentioning Rihanna. Let's take a listen to Rihanna suspect talking about Rihanna wanting to kill her. No, Rihanna, you're not the eagle. They will soar high on wings like eagles. Rihanna wants to say that we are flying and we're not. She's not flying. The way that Rihanna wants to kill me shows that we're not going to show this right now. But this is my heart, Lord.
Starting point is 00:23:31 And I am expecting and waiting in that beautiful time for you. you to show me what you're going to do and how you're going to deliver this promise. It's in my heart and it's in my vitality and I'm very, very grateful to you for your abundant graces. Listen, Rihanna, when you die, God is taking me to my future. You want to kill me. Shut the fuck up. Yeah, she's a witch. She's a witch.
Starting point is 00:23:56 I'm a watchman. Get that stupid girl out of here. That's so sad. It's very scary. She's clearly suffering from schizophrenia. Yes. And I think it's also. very scared because it's like she had a
Starting point is 00:24:07 gun like how did she get her hands on a gun yeah now okay so a few weeks before the shooting on February 23rd there was a post that because there was a there's a ton of Facebook posts but there's one that she posted on her Facebook that mentioned she tagged Rihanna and she said are you there because I was waiting on your
Starting point is 00:24:22 AIDS five head self to say something to me directly instead of sneaking around like you're talking to me where I'm not at and then she goes on there's posts about Kim Kardashian there's a video about Cardi B but I want to mention before we listen to the Cardi B audio, if we get to that, that there's an attorney for her ex-husband who is now speaking out.
Starting point is 00:24:43 So she has a child that she shares with her ex-husband, and that attorney is giving statements in letting it be known that back in 2023 in Florida, she was actually placed, Ivana was placed on a psychiatric hold in a facility under the state law. And then in 2024, she lost custody of her child. And a judge, because of her mental state, made it where she's not able to contact. her child by phone in person, video text, email, or any third party communication with the child until any further orders from the court.
Starting point is 00:25:13 Did they say how she got the A-O-15? We don't know that yet, no, we don't know that yet. Not at all. This is America. Yeah, and we also... No, I know that, but if she had all these, the psych wards and all these things, she can't see her child, I just wonder if she was able to buy it legally or if she bought it illegally.
Starting point is 00:25:27 And then they said she was a speech, a speech pathologist. Yeah, and the ex-husband said She's very articulate. She's very smart. And if you talk to her about certain things, she would even have you convinced until you notice certain bizarre, random things that she says or and or does.
Starting point is 00:25:45 And, yeah. She looks regular. Yeah, she definitely did. Yeah. Like, she just looks regular. Well, there was one. We've been talking a lot about Cardi B's tour. Remember the San Francisco stop.
Starting point is 00:25:54 There's a video that she had posted. She was trying to get to the San Francisco stop. And there were issues that she had when she was making up on her own with Cardi B. Let's take a listen to Cardi. You can't f*** with me, Cardi B. you're supposedly busy right now. But you know who has the cutest outfit tonight? You know who's the cutest tonight?
Starting point is 00:26:10 I am. You ain't messing with me. Is Cardi B pressed? Shardy B. Yeah, I was just in San Francisco last week. Actually, this week. No one wanted me to go to what Cardi B had going on. I wonder why.
Starting point is 00:26:24 Ooh, I wonder why. I wonder like where her friends were parents, if they were any loved ones, anybody around it, because somebody had to see this and say this is not right. From the husband's statements, I take it as people know she's not okay. I just don't know what her day was like that day where she was able to get to whatever, do whatever. But it's very obvious that people around her knew that she wasn't okay. And then I wonder if she like off meds.
Starting point is 00:26:48 Because like if this is her every day, like you said, it should be people around her that's like trying to get her help or alerting police if she's doing things like getting into 13. Schizophrenia is tough though, man. Schizophrenia is tough. There's a lot of questions here. And again, police. So that book, what she was booked with was the attempted murder. It goes to a DA.
Starting point is 00:27:05 The DA will then determine like further charges or whatever the case may be. But, you know, I think just from here we can kind of tell where this is going to go. But yesterday, too, it was updated and released that TMZ spoke to a source. And they confirmed that when Rihanna was home, her kids were there with her. Is that Rocky wasn't there, but her kids were there with her. And then there was a private jet that was marked flying out of L.A. Yesterday that they believed was Rihanna leaving L.A. And I would too at this point, like right now.
Starting point is 00:27:31 That is insane. I have to sell that house and everything. But what scary is there are people on social media in our mentions like that right now. They be talking to themselves, telling themselves these crazy stories. And that young woman needs to be in somebody's midst to an institution forever. She don't need to be on the street. No. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:27:47 Yes. Yeah, so I'll keep you guys updated as more unfolds and we'll bring it back here to the latest. And I always wonder what people like that, like what got her there, right? Because she was married. She had a child, so I'm sure she was okay. Like, what was the change? What if she was on meds or maybe she was under. control.
Starting point is 00:28:02 It depends. I think it's different for different people. I have a friend that went into something like this and it was just things in life, stress in life that were happening. But I know sometimes it happens when people... The newest tracks. Let's go.

Starting point is 00:32:24 What I see, it gets worse as you get older. Wow. Yeah, so it depends on the person in their life. It develops in like you're late adolescence, but then as you, you know, just grow and get older, it gets worse. What I've seen. This is such a problem to be figured. out like people getting help
Starting point is 00:32:39 before they're able to hurt other people. Like it's, I don't know, I was thinking about that too. Like, how do you even solve a problem like mental health illnesses? Schizophrenia is tough, bro. Like, I don't even, I don't think, I don't know. I don't think there's a kill-up of schizophrenia. Yeah, no.
Starting point is 00:32:54 Schizophrenia is, yeah, you need, we need to bring somebody on here who really understands schizophrenia to discuss that because that's not something you just get help for. Yeah. All right. Well, last the latest with Lauren. Now, when we come back,
Starting point is 00:33:04 uh, me and we'll be joining us. Front page news. So don't go anywhere. It's the breakfast club. Good morning. Morning, everybody. It's DJ NV. Just hilarious. Shalameen Nagar. We are the breakfast club. Let's get back in some front page news. What's up, Mimi. Good morning. Mee. Jash. Shalemaine, how y'all doing this morning?
Starting point is 00:33:19 Hey, Mimi. Peace, Mimi. Good morning. So we start this hour with a major travel warning. If you're heading to the airport or heading out anytime soon, airport travel across the country is turning into a nightmare. With security lines stretching for hours and travelers missing flights at the start of this busy spring break season. So at several major airports, TSA wait times are hitting two to three hours in New Orleans, the security line. It stretched across multiple floors of the terminal and all the way into the parking garage.
Starting point is 00:33:48 Airports are now warning passengers to arrive four to five hours before their flight just to make it through security. Now, all of this is tied to the partial government shutdown of Department of Homeland Security. Funding for DHS, it expired after Congress failed to reach a deal with Democrats pushing for conditions that they want. placing tighter limits on ice. So because of this shutdown, more than 60,000 TSA agents are still required to work, but they are not being paid. And that, of course, is starting to take a toll. So across the country, agents are calling out sick. They're not showing up, which is creating staffing shortages at airport security checkpoints and sitting those wait times soaring.
Starting point is 00:34:28 An industry group called Airlines for America, they represent major airline carriers. They say TSA agents are being used as political pawns. in this government shut down fight. Let's listen. They're just political footballs, basically, that are used as leverage points for political battles that they have nothing to do it.
Starting point is 00:34:48 Yeah, so I know, NVA, you were recently in the airport. How was your wait time getting through security? Oh, it was nasty. I would tell everybody, there's this thing called touchless. I don't know if you guys know what touchless is, if every airline has touchless. But touchless is when you walk, you could just kind of walk up there,
Starting point is 00:35:03 and they scan your eyes you can walk right through. What about clear? No, it's called touchless. It's not. It's not clear. It's not pre-check. It's called Touchless. They haven't on the Delta app.
Starting point is 00:35:11 You should definitely check it. Sign up for it if you can. I believe it's free through your airline. Also, pre-check took Madison, 45 minutes to go through. And Logan didn't have pre-check or anything, and it took them an hour in 50 minutes. Logan missed a flight. Me and Madison had to meet him in Miami because he missed his flight. But I would just say that, yeah, give yourself a lot of extra time.
Starting point is 00:35:29 And if you got to check a bag, two hours at least because the airport was nasty. And then everybody got clear, too. Everybody has pre-checked now. Everybody got it. So you might sometimes I just go through the regular line because the clear lines are so long. Salute all the TSA workers, man. I'm sorry that y'all got to go through this again. Because, you know, some people just bouncing back from the last government shut down.
Starting point is 00:35:51 You know what I mean? Just really catching up if they caught up and now they, you know, not getting paid again, man. So salute to all the TSA worker, man. It's a damn shame. Y'all got to go through this. Absolutely. And to your point, Charlemagne, I just left New York and several agents told me that they recently, well, about two weeks ago, they received half of their paycheck.
Starting point is 00:36:07 and they're expected to be paid this week, and that paycheck will be $0.0.0. Jesus. And many expressed to me that they were living paycheck to paycheck, and they were being forced to get a part-time job so that they could afford their basic essentials, which, of course, is leaving that shortage at Air Force, which is what we're seeing right now.
Starting point is 00:36:24 Why would you even play with somebody like that? Why would you even waste the time printing out the paper to pay somebody $0.0.0.0. That's like when a judge gives you 200 years. Just say, Faville. Stop playing with me. Okay? You know I can't ever do 200 years.
Starting point is 00:36:37 They want me to do with this $0.0.0.0 check. Exactly. So we'll continue to follow that story. And we're learning more this morning about that terror incident outside the New York City mayor's residence over the weekend. Investigators are now filling in some of the details that were still unfolding yesterday. So the incident happened on Saturday outside Gracie Mansion, the official home of New York City Mayor. Now, police say two homemade explosive devices, they were thrown during a protest there. Official say the devices could have seen.
Starting point is 00:37:07 seriously injured or killed people, but they failed to fully detonate so no one was hurt. And here's the background on what was happening out there. So earlier that day, a group connected to a far-right activist, they organized a protest outside the mayor's residence. They were demonstrating against what they call the Islamification of New York, essentially claiming that New York has become too influenced by Islam and Muslim communities. So that protest, it drew more than 100 counter-protests who showed up to push back against what they viewed as anti-Muslim rhetoric.
Starting point is 00:37:40 So police say the tension between those two groups escalated, and we now know that two teens from Pennsylvania, they brought those homemade explosives to that protest. And this morning we're hearing from Mayor Mondami, who is now responding to that attack. Let's listen to what he had to say. On Saturday, a protest was held outside Gracie Mansion, where I live with my wife, Rama.
Starting point is 00:38:01 This was a vile protest rooted in white supremacy, entitled Stop the Islamic Takeover of New York City. I'm the first Muslim mayor of our city. Anti-Muslim bigotry is nothing new to me, nor is it anything new for the one million or so Muslim New Yorkers who know this city as our home. While I found this protest appalling, I will not waver in my belief that it should be allowed to happen. Let me also be clear about something else.
Starting point is 00:38:24 New York City will never tolerate violence. Anyone who comes to New York City to bring violence to our streets will be held accountable in accordance with the law. Our infidel prosecutors, they say the same. suspect, they told investigators that they were inspired by ISIS and they allegedly wanted to carry out something even bigger than the Boston Marathon bombing. So they said that during the Boston Marathon bombing, that only three people died. And they said that to investigators in New York City and they wanted something much bigger. But the attorney from one of the teens is pushing back,
Starting point is 00:38:55 saying his client just turned 18 and didn't fully understand what he was doing. Let's listen to the lawyer for that teen. It's been 18 for two months. He's a high school student. This is the first time he's ever been connected to anything like this. He has no history of any kind of violence. Now all of a sudden, he's here in New York, over 100 miles away from home. Accused of terrorism. There's really no, there was no forewarning of that. Well, the FBI is also carrying out searches at locations connected to those suspects in Pennsylvania.
Starting point is 00:39:23 As investigators look for more evidence to determine whether anyone else may have been involved. And both men, they made their first court appearance yesterday in federal court in Manhattan. They are being held in federal custody, and their next hearing is scheduled for April 8th. So, yeah, we will continue to watch that. And really quickly before we go, a quick update to that Ticketmaster story that we were talking about earlier, Jess. You and I were kind of following this one together. So Live Nation, the company that owns Ticketmaster, has reached a deal with the federal government and dozens of states after being accused of having too much control over concert ticket prices.
Starting point is 00:39:58 So under the deal, the company will pay about $280 million with that money, going to 40 states that also joined the lawsuit. The deal could change how tickets are sold going forward. For example, service fees at some of the venues would be capped at about 15% of the ticket price and ticket master would also have to open parts of their ticketing technology to other companies, which would mean that other ticketing companies would start selling using the same ticket system. And Live Nation would have to give up some of those exclusive deals with concert venues,
Starting point is 00:40:28 which would allow more competition in the ticket market, which they hope will bring down those ticket prices. So, okay. Yeah, and we will continue to see what happens with that. And that is it, y'all. That is your front page news. I'm Mimi Brown.
Starting point is 00:40:42 Follow me at Mimi Brown TV and promote stories follow the Black Information Network. Thank you, Mimi. Now, a couple weeks ago, Nicole Curtis. That's right, Nicole Curtis from HGTV. Yeah, I gave her a donkey today. She's on the show, Rehab Addick.
Starting point is 00:40:55 She is the white woman who on rehab addict said, Bartonick. Correct. Right? Yep. And so I gave her done. here today and she reached out to Lauren LaRosa and was explaining herself and wanted to come on
Starting point is 00:41:06 the show. Explain herself some more. She said, declared air and explain herself. Hey, man, I'm assuming to apologize. Don't threaten us with a good time. Oh, my goodness. All right, so when we come back, Nicole Curtis from HGTV, you know, that's the lady, the white woman that said farting on, I guess, and it went viral.
Starting point is 00:41:23 So we're going to talk to her next. It's the Breakfast Club. Good morning. Morning, everybody. It's DJ NV. Just hilarious. Shalameen the Guy. We are the Breakfast Club. Lorne LaRosa is here as well. We got a special guest in the building. You know her from HGTTV, Rehab Attic, or HGTV, I should say.
Starting point is 00:41:40 Ladies and gentlemen, Nicole Curtis. Welcome. Thank you, thank you. Good morning. You got to tell you who Nicole is. I'm about to. A lot of people may have known Nicole, but then they may not know Nicole, but they may have just learned than Nicole. That is right.
Starting point is 00:41:51 So Nicole, of course, she's on Rehab Attic. She's a best-selling author. New York Times best-selling author. But recently, she went viral. Not for anything good. She was actually doing some work in a home. and I guess something happened and you heard Nicole blurt out fartner
Starting point is 00:42:06 my it's my last one oh fart what is that that I just said Nick you got it can you kill that and Charlemagne gave a donkey today and she went viral for it and because of that she lost her show
Starting point is 00:42:30 and a host of other things and you're here today to talk about that yeah what is a fart you know I have no idea I have no idea. It's, it's, that isn't anything that I've ever said before. And so I, I don't have any idea. You know, that's it.
Starting point is 00:42:51 Would you say it's a black person with gas? Could it be? No, I mean, listen, it is, it is, I heard your show on it and you guys had a great time on it. And, and that's all fine. You know, I've, I've been a female in construction for almost 30 years. I think I'm the oldest here. I'm older than all of you guys. I'm 49.
Starting point is 00:43:12 Oh, you're right behind you. 47. Yeah, I'm still older, though, you know? And I'm a mom, so I've got kids, right? So I've been, I get made fun of a lot, you know? And I get roasted. I work on a crew with, like, my best friends from elementary school, junior high, high school. Are your best friends black?
Starting point is 00:43:31 Are my best friends black? I have some, I don't even, see, this is the thing, because as soon as I see, as I say anything like that. Then somebody says, oh, she came out and used her best friend as black thing. Correct? Right? And I live in Detroit, right? So You're best friends of black. So I have, I have friends of every nationality,
Starting point is 00:43:53 every background I always have. But it's, I can't say anything right now. Anything I say makes some person somewhere angry, right? But if you do have black people, you can say that. You know what I mean? It's true, yeah. Well, I definitely do, and I don't want to get them out, but I'm saying, then people say, like, oh, here she comes.
Starting point is 00:44:12 She's going to come out now. You're done if you do. You're down if you're right now. Yeah, yeah, yeah. But I think the main thing is, is, what are your best friends that are black's name? Oh, my God. Okay, okay, okay. So, Danielle, Danielle's part of our crew.
Starting point is 00:44:27 I have Elizabeth. I have, I have, so I live right in Detroit, right? So do you want me just go down a name? I mean, just your best friends. Yeah, yeah. So I'm just saying, and that's the thing, you know, is that, you know, when this all happened, I asked all of my friends, all of my family, all of my crew to take a step back, right? Because everyone wanted to come out right away and be like, whoa, this isn't who she is.
Starting point is 00:44:55 This isn't who she's about. And I asked them not to on purpose because I didn't want them to get caught up in my shit, to be honest, right? because I'm in this weird, like, here's me in the middle right now, right? And I have people over here coming at me, people coming here over me, and then these two groups are coming like this. You know, like, I don't know, like, when I was a kid growing up, we didn't fly anywhere, we were in the back of a car going on road trips everywhere,
Starting point is 00:45:23 but then you fight with your siblings. Well, that's how I am right now, where I have, like, groups of people who have never met me, who haven't watched my show, know nothing about me judging me or defending me or just saying all this weird stuff about me and I'm like
Starting point is 00:45:40 okay what you know what do I do at that point? What do the people who knew you before this viral moment who have met you who have watched your shows your black friends like that community? Yeah. What did they say to you about the use of the word? Oh they were just like like we know you like this isn't
Starting point is 00:45:57 something you say this isn't something you use or anything now they do know me which means they know that I run a million miles an hour, right? I'm a mom, I get two boys. I fly cross-country like once or twice a week. I shoot a show, I produce a show, I build houses, I design houses. Bottom line is, I'm a mom. I talk fast.
Starting point is 00:46:18 I'm on the go like this. And like all of you, right? I didn't get handed my show. I didn't get handed it. I wasn't an overnight success. You know, like I grew up in a family where I learned to work and in my 20s I became a mom at 21. I cleaned houses. I did odd jobs on Craigslist when Craigslist was still a thing. I don't think it is anymore. Not really. But you know, but that's that's all wonderful. But the term
Starting point is 00:46:44 yeah, we just never heard that term before. So it was just like, I mean, we were trying to figure out like, is that something you said? If that's a fart, like, where did that turn come from? Have you ever said it? Have you ever heard it? No, I haven't. I haven't. And when you, I think you brought up and you said that you actually looked it up and it wasn't worth. Oh, Chad, G.B.2. Okay. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And I didn't. You know, and that is something that over the years, and this is like if my shows were, but you can still find my shows. I don't think they've wiped them off completely of the universe.
Starting point is 00:47:17 But if you watch them, I have said, because years ago, now I started on TV in 2010, right? So we couldn't, we couldn't swear if we said, and I say the effort, a lot. Okay. I say it a lot. I say it too much. Um, fart. No, I say, like that's what I say. Okay. All right. Have you ever used the N word without the fart? Absolutely not. Absolutely not. And that's where the people that know me have known me for years have worked with me were like, you know, like that's just that's and again, I have been on TV. I've been in the industry almost 30 years, right? So you know how it is. If, if that's something, if that's how you, if that's how you you're known to be or something like that,
Starting point is 00:48:02 there's already stories out there about it. You know, and I've said, like, find someone who's ever heard me use that word, be in that context, or have that type of mindset, and you won't. Like you just... Were you at the Bafel awards recently? No, I did see that, though. Yes.
Starting point is 00:48:18 Yes, no. I wasn't there. And the next thing is so, you know, of course, people all the time say things that we say edit that out, right? Right. You said, edit it out, you asked about it. So how did it leak? If it's your your show, you know, you're the producer and all that. How did your audio leak?
Starting point is 00:48:35 Like it just came out like fart. Like it just slipped out. Well, he's asking about how it leaked. Yeah. Okay, all right. So when you see my show on any kind of platform on HGTV, we do have to edit it. We do have to like, like, dumb it down.
Starting point is 00:48:50 And I show a before and after when I'm still in the middle of construction, right? So I'm like, I'm going to shoot this raw. So what I was doing, what I've always done is I shoot all my own material. So I was shooting in. my own house, my own cameras. Like this would be if I was producing the show right now and this gentleman here's shooting, he can't walk out of here with my media, right?
Starting point is 00:49:09 He can't. Like it's mine, I'm going to take that. Of course, you're ordering on your film. I'm going to load it up. I'm going to take it home. Put it on my drive. It goes in my safe. Right.
Starting point is 00:49:16 So there is another human in the world that did have access to that. Who is that human? And right now with everything going on, I'm not going to, I'm not going to state that. Was he black? So they leaked it. Um, no.
Starting point is 00:49:31 It wasn't black. No, no. Do you think that person is a f***? I think he's a f***. Okay, so we'll just start at that. Okay. I think he's a person, I think, in my humble opinion, who I think it is, I think needed to, to ruin me and crush my soul.
Starting point is 00:49:50 I understand that like you're here because you want to have a real conversation. You know this is a place to be. But I feel like what's happening right now is like you're doing a lot to humanize yourself. And that's cool. I know you feel like you have to do that. But the use of the N-word saying, you're dehumanizes people like us. And that's the real conversation that we should be having right now.
Starting point is 00:50:06 And that's why, again, I've never, like, I was raised. We don't use that word, okay? I know that I don't use that word. I don't use that word. Why? I'm white. That wasn't your first time. I swear to God.
Starting point is 00:50:19 Don't do that in this room. No, Charlamine, I'm going to tell you. I'm going to tell you, no, I'm going to tell you right now. No, no, no, you can stand next to me. Like, you can, no, I'm telling you. And you don't have to believe me. Like, you don't know me. Like, you don't know me.
Starting point is 00:50:34 You don't know me. You don't have to believe me. Not even in a song context. Like, you listen to me your favorite. And no, and you have to, I have a, I have a 28-year-old son, okay? And, like, my playlist, yes, I listen to, I've always listened. I've always listened. I've always listened to everything.
Starting point is 00:50:49 Okay, I grew up, I graduated in 1994, okay? Like, that's it. Um, but I don't, I have never used words. I know that. The people that know me, know that. My children know that. And the most important thing for me when all this came out is that one, I spoke to my children. My son, my 28-year-old was like, I'm finding the raw footage because there's no way that that slipped out. And then you weren't, because he's like,
Starting point is 00:51:14 mom, you go on and on about shit all the time, right? I'm a mom. Like, that's what we do. And he's like, he found the raw. And I do. I go on. That was an edited version. What you mean you go on? No, I go on like, I've never, I literally say on it. I say, I've never said that before. I've never said that before. I can't believe I just said that. I've never said this word before. And so I know that.
Starting point is 00:51:37 And again, do you think that... Yeah, I'm sorry. So the guy who leaked it, right? We assume. Okay, all right. So, yeah. We assume. So the person...
Starting point is 00:51:47 Somebody had to leak it because it was out. So somebody leaked it. So the person that leaked it couldn't have just felt like that was so wrong that it needed to come out? Oh, no, no, no, no, no. Oh, no, no, no, no. No. No. I have been in a situation. And again, I'm not saying exactly it was this person, but again, getting back to this, I produced my own stuff. I was in my own home. Okay? The reason I said like, oh my gosh, delete that is because I don't, I don't, I was like so shocked that I said, you can see as soon as it comes out of my mouth. If I was someone, now I'm going to play the devil's advocate here, okay? White Devils Advocate over here. If I was someone that said that all the time,
Starting point is 00:52:28 and I'm in the sanctity of my own house, my own cameras, my own camera people that I pay for, they're not taking my media away. Okay, and even, let's say it was my audio guy, right? He only has audio clips. He doesn't have video, okay? But I would just roll with it. What would I care?
Starting point is 00:52:46 Because no one's going to see it. When you said erase it, what did the guy say in the background? So he said, he said we have, I have 35 minutes on this clip. Okay, so he's rolling right here, right? So if we stop to do that, okay? So then you go back. And then there's a, there's a, like,
Starting point is 00:53:03 you have 35 minutes of footage already on there, right? And then, I mean, I have, I have the raw. Like, if you guys want to watch the raw, I'll show you the raw. Why do you want to traumatize us? Why do you want us to revisit? No, no, I, I believed it. But I'm saying, but what I'm saying is that I, I didn't have to, like, no one would have ever seen this.
Starting point is 00:53:21 But I thought he said it was already fed to the network. No, no, no, no, no, no. I thought he said something like that. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. No, no, no, you can pull that audio. First of all, when we shoot TV, a network never gets raw footage, ever. So, and I'm in control of my footage. I'm in control of my show.
Starting point is 00:53:39 I produce and I edit. So they only get the finished product. So, you know, I sell them a product. They buy it. They've decided to take it off their shelves, right? But they will never have my raw footage. I don't deliver 1,600 hours of footage to them to go through. They don't get it.
Starting point is 00:53:55 So they would never get it. No one would ever get it. Like, I shot yesterday. I shot for the past two days in a house. No one's ever going to see that footage if I don't want them to. So what does accountability look like for you? Because, you know, an apology is like staged in a house, right? It looks nice, but what's underneath?
Starting point is 00:54:11 Underneath, it's, again, I've come out and I've said I don't condone you that word. Okay. So, again, I'm stuck here in the middle. All right. So you got, and honestly, the old. Only people coming at me, really, are white people. Like, hardcore at me. You have these people over here who always have to be, like, a missionary, right?
Starting point is 00:54:31 Who are like, oh, my gosh, you need to apologize. They expect me to, like, sell everything I've ever had in my life, donate it to a charity, and, like, get stoned in the streets, okay? And then you have the other side of white people that are, like, fighting these people and being, like, leave her alone. It's just a word. And I've come out, and I've said it's not just a word. Who are these people?
Starting point is 00:54:50 No, I'm saying this group of white people, and they have this group of white people. Fighting each other. Fighting each other. Like white on white crime. White and I'm in the middle, right? And anyone else who's known me or works with me throughout the years has been like, these f*** people are all crazy. Like, what is going on here?
Starting point is 00:55:07 Have you said, I'm sorry? Yes, I have. Oh, I have. I have. To who? First of all, I apologize to my children first. That was the most important. Are they black?
Starting point is 00:55:16 My children are white. They are my children. But the most important thing is that I have raised them knowing Have you apologized to black people? I absolutely have. Have you, have you? Like, I did. I did.
Starting point is 00:55:27 Did you like it? I did. I have also the, so the most important thing to me was I've apologized. I talked to my children first. They watched the clip because they were like, mom, you don't use that word, you know? We can't use that word. We're not, but this is like, this is so out of character.
Starting point is 00:55:42 So your kids were like, mom. Like, what that was wrong with you not? My little one, I have a 10-year-old, right? So I pulled up the footage and it showed me, he goes, oh, You didn't mean to say it. I said, I didn't mean to say it. I didn't mean to say it. So how did you feel when you heard the donkey today?
Starting point is 00:55:53 And how did you hear the donkey today? I heard the donkey because I work with a bunch of guys and they saw it. And again, they were like, and listen, you guys want to call me donkey of the day or, you know, I get it. You called us worse. What? You've called us worse. I'm going to stay silent on that one because, again, I'm going to say again that that was not some thing that I said or meant it at somebody or any I didn't even mean for that word to come out.
Starting point is 00:56:22 And again, um, I, I, that's not the only word I don't use. Okay. The R words making a comeback, right? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:56:31 The R word. What's that? You can guess. No. Okay, well, I'm not going to say it because I don't use it. What's the R word? Do you know the art word, Jess? What's the R word, Jess?
Starting point is 00:56:41 What's the R word? I mean, at this point, you didn't, you didn't take it there. You could say that one. Renovations? No, no. Renovations? Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:56:49 Yeah. Yeah. Okay. Well, that word's making a comeback. Yeah. Right? We don't use that. And then the, then F-F.
Starting point is 00:57:00 F. Renniggin. Oh, my goodness. What's the F word? Reparations. Oh, no. That can't be the word you don't use. What's the F word?
Starting point is 00:57:08 Shut off. No, tell the people that is not it. There are a series of words that I don't use. Okay. All right. So, yes. No, the R word is. in reparations, right?
Starting point is 00:57:19 No, yo. Reniggin? No. No. Oh, she can't say that one. What? Reniggin? Oh, no, she can't say renegat.
Starting point is 00:57:28 So what made you decide to come to breakfast club to have this conversation? Well, this is it. Like, I'm sure there are other places you could have went. No, no, no. We get in a donkey in a day.
Starting point is 00:57:37 No. I'll tell you why. Okay. I've always been somebody that I don't, you guys brought it up, right? And it seemed like you guys had questions and things like that, right? I mean, you've got it from the news.
Starting point is 00:57:47 And this is, this is honestly like, like, I'm walking in knowing that you guys have made fun of me, roasted me, you've had this commentary about me, okay. Felt offended first. I'm sorry? And then, yeah, exactly. No, and I understand. I understand. And I reached out to Lauren, right?
Starting point is 00:58:05 I just said, can we just, can we just talk on the phone? I'm not, you know, when this first came out, everyone suggested that I hire a PR, a crisis PRT, right? or go do this or go do that and make a good show of it. Like, no. Like, that's not what I'm about. And that's not what I've ever done. I've always found that you can be a, you know, like a problem reporter or a solution seeker, right? And I've always found solutions through understanding and having conversations.
Starting point is 00:58:33 So if you have a conversation with me, right? And then you're still like, you know what? I don't believe her. I Heart Radio is throwing it back. 20s the decade. To the days of your days of your. Huge hits. And unforgettable items.

Starting point is 01:02:38 podcast. It's that. She deserved donkey the day, and I don't believe her. that's fine now you've met me we've had a conversation right I just when I when somebody judges anybody just from and of course like when they see a headline and they say HDTV racial slur right they don't need to say I'm white I mean she TV like I can't think of a I can't think of a whiter TV station weren't you in Wyoming when that film it was happening I'm sorry you were in Wyoming I was yes yes yeah but I'm just saying like everyone
Starting point is 01:03:11 knew that you they didn't have to I'm going to be white right I'm going to be white right and then you see me right And that's, okay, like, without, without meeting me. Like, who do you think I am? Like, what's your stereotypes about me? That was my introduction to you. Like, when you first came in, you said people have known me for 30-plus years being in this industry, you know, home restoration,
Starting point is 01:03:32 and then it's people that don't know me. Right. This is the people that don't know you. This is the introduction, you know, far-de-you-you-me-so. You know what I mean? Yeah. So my thing is, I thought you said it all the time because it came out so sing-ish.
Starting point is 01:03:44 It definitely seems like you said at hot time. How did the word come so. naturally if it's a word you never use. And again, and this is I mean, if you guys want to watch the raw, like I said, it's, it's, no, no, I said. I have the raw. Do you want to watch?
Starting point is 01:03:59 Absolutely. I believed it. The thing is, if you said fart digger, the amount of times that you said, I just feel like you should have released that a million and one times because I've never heard fart. And I watched the show. And I've definitely never heard fart. So it just seems like
Starting point is 01:04:14 it's something that you've said before because it just came And fart digger sound like you're playing an ass-a-old-day. Yeah, that's a little nasty. No, no. And again, why would you just be digging in the random ass? It's crazy. I don't have, I don't have a rhyme or reason of the words that I make up. Like, I say, I say nonsense stuff all the time.
Starting point is 01:04:32 I mean, and again, like, even when, like, I edit my shows, right? And I'll be editing my shows and I'll be like, just finish what the fuck you're saying. Because I go off, I'm like, this and that, and I'm off the cuff. I'm not scripted, right? And I actually, there are. There are people in my genre that are a little more scripted or they're directed or they're produced or they have a whole video village or they have all this. I don't. I don't have any of that. I shoot myself. So were you trying to say something else in that morning? Absolutely. Because you say fart digger and fart knocker. I say all that. Yes. But that's what I'm saying. I was, I don't like exactly do I know my train of thought in that? No. It's like a blip of a moment. But I know that I wasn't saying that. First of all, I would never put. I didn't know that. I didn't know that.
Starting point is 01:05:16 it was a phrase that was used. But again, I don't really know a lot of, I stay in my little cave of restoring houses and being a mom and tooling around Detroit. Were you gas-in and like talking to yourself? Like, oh, fuck, f***. Did you see the clip? What I'm doing?
Starting point is 01:05:32 Yeah, like, fixing it. Yeah, so. And just, he's asking, did you have gas on the ladder? Like, were you talking to yourself? Are you referring to yourself as such? Yeah, no. What I can say is, I understand you. No, you don't.
Starting point is 01:05:44 Not, do you let me finish that. I mean, oh, oh, my God. I'm sorry. You see what I'm saying? I'm just in the middle here again. That's why I feel comfortable. You use that term. Anyway, listen, I understand you apologize.
Starting point is 01:05:56 And to your kids first because my thought is they're in, some of them are in school. You know, you got your 28-year-old, but you have kids in school. Yeah. And they have, they may have black friends, you know what I'm saying? And for them to see their friend's mom use the term, and then they could be bullied for that. they could have to pay that price, you know, for something that that you said, you know, for that term that you said. So I understand you, um, apologizing to them. But is that because that may affect what, you know, they go to school?
Starting point is 01:06:30 You said you got a 10 year old. No, I apologize to them because I have, like, that is just like, we live in Detroit. Yeah. We live in Detroit. Like I'm not. Like the South Side? I'm not in the Detroit that you don't see in trendy and upcoming Detroit, right? I've been in Detroit, like my grandparents were born and raised in Detroit.
Starting point is 01:06:50 Like, I am not made for TV Detroit, okay? There are a couple people. I don't even know if I can say, can I say, am I in the hood? I don't even know, you know. Your best friends are black when you live in the hood. And she usually says what up, though. No, I got my Pandora's playing, so I'm sorry. But what I'm saying is like, now I'm like, whatever I say, it's going to piss people off.
Starting point is 01:07:13 But I will say this. I want you to live your truth. No, and what my truth is. I would say, I live in Detroit. I am a Detroiter. I'm not, I didn't bring, I didn't create and be like, ooh, Detroit's hot and trendy right now. Can I go do my show in Detroit?
Starting point is 01:07:26 I'm not some token white bitch that walked down the street and decided, I'm going to go to Detroit. I'm going to show. I'm in Detroit. I had a fight to go to Detroit. I went to Detroit before Detroit was trendy before it was, I don't like New Detroit, to be honest with you. I like it how it was, and that's why I restore the houses.
Starting point is 01:07:44 What are just some things you plan? to do to maybe provide some healing for the people you hurt. I'm going to continue the work that I have done. Okay. And that's, and again, I don't, I don't, I don't invest in Detroit and sell properties and make money. I fight that. I go and restore historical pieces of our history in Detroit where, where they're not getting
Starting point is 01:08:05 federal grants, where there's not state money, where, where the, the big developers aren't going in because those neighborhoods, those people that have lived in Detroit all their life, right? And even like, even I have bought houses to save people from losing their houses to tax for closure. That's what I'm saying. I have fought, I have fought these fucking cities about turning our cities that have people that have lived in all their lives, and then yanking their homes from them or tearing their homes down and then building, you know, all of the stuff. That's what I'm going to continue doing.
Starting point is 01:08:35 I'm going to continue my work like that. And that's what I do is that I'm in my neighborhoods working like that, investing my own money that I don't have to. I don't get money back from investing in Detroit because I'm investing in negative market value areas. Okay, there is no market value. There's nothing for me to gain except for rebuilding, rebuilding our history there. That's what's important to me. When you rebuild history, when you maintain that history and that uniqueness, that neighborhood can thrive and survive.
Starting point is 01:09:02 Thrive and survive. And that's my battle in all these cities that I've lived in, is that you have to have sustainability, and it's not going to be in your trendy new markets. It's not going to be bringing in the white people so they can have a studio apartment now, right? It's going to be surviving those neighborhoods that were already there, keeping the uniqueness, keeping the history, keeping it intact, keeping the people that made that city, have been in that city their entire lives, making it so that they can stay there.
Starting point is 01:09:27 So you make affordable housing for the people who've always lived there's no such thing as affordable housing. Do you not know that? That's all of that's all a b-bri-like a nonprofit's not a nonprofit. Nicole, I think what you should do is what you're saying that you're doing in Detroit, there's a lot of young African-American people in Detroit that would love to learn from you and that would love to learn in a way that they can understand what this industry is, how to build. And that's what you should do. You should teach that from your point of view because you've been there.
Starting point is 01:09:53 You know how to get cheap. You know how to do the construction. That's what you should do. And hire black contractors. And that's what we have been doing. Teach black contractors. And that's what I'm saying. That is what my work has been about.
Starting point is 01:10:03 Teach black investors. That is what my work has been about because that's what we've been doing. if people think that me saying that word is okay, then I'm, that's why I was so disappointed. Just apologize. I apologize. I did, and I do. I apologize.
Starting point is 01:10:18 The camera's right there. Yes, I do. And to everyone out there, just, Charlemagne's that you're aware, that is a word that I do not condone. So the people out there that do not use me as an example, right? That's where I've been coming out against people saying, hey, just because I said it,
Starting point is 01:10:35 I made a mistake. I know I made a mistake. you watch that footage, even the edited bullshit. So no, don't use me as your poster child for that bullshit. And I don't want you to think that coming on the breakfast club is just going rehabilitate your... Absolutely not. In fact, it might increase the chances
Starting point is 01:10:50 that you walking through the airport and somebody going, that's the fart late. Yeah, no, I mean, you have a lot of people and again, I didn't come on here to prove myself. I came on here. You said some questions about me. Like you had some questions. Get it from the source. Okay. Right? When you have a dispute, get it from the source. That is Nicole Curtis, and it is the Breakfast Club. Good morning.
Starting point is 01:11:10 Thank you for joining us. Thank you, Nicole. And what we'll do is let's open up the phone lines. We'll take her to the breakfast club court next hour. I don't think you got to take it to court. I think you should just open up the phone lines and get people's reaction. She guilty. 585.
Starting point is 01:11:22 What are we talking about? 800-585-105-1. What are your thoughts on Nicole Curtis? Call us up right now. We'll take your calls in a little bit. But let's get to the latest. Hey, we'll talk, L.Cube. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:11:36 I'm not dumbing my stuff. I'm being myself. Take me through that. I'm the home guy that knows a little bit about everything and everything. The little brown girls look at you and go, I want to be like you. Take me through that, make me through that. The latest with Laura knows. On the breakfast club.
Starting point is 01:11:56 LL. Coobe, talk to me. So, Dwight Howard has, we talked about him and his wife now estranged yesterday because Because Dwight Howard has filed for divorce from Amber Howard or Amy of Love and Hip Hop. He says that the relationship or the marriage is irretrievally broken. Now, why she's not in jail? She was on the internet with at least a half a brick of cocaine. That's probably why he wanted to divorce. Like, girl, you don't take my coke out of this house.
Starting point is 01:12:29 I don't know. I don't know. On the internet for everybody to see. But here's the thing, because y'all remember, like last year, she, this happened, like, she filed for divorce and then they got back together. So when I saw it, I'm like, okay, is this just something that they do? But then I saw Amy comment on some of the reporting of this online saying that he beat her to the courthouse. So then TMZ after that did a story with a source.
Starting point is 01:12:52 And the source is saying that Amy or Amber had planned to file that same day. She was working on it with her attorneys, but his paperwork was processed first. And that they're still living in the same house. You come up here recently? Yeah, like it is new one. So this time when Dwight Howard filed for a divorce, she was on her way to do the same. Paperwork was there from what it seems,
Starting point is 01:13:13 but her paperwork or his paperwork went through first. Now, they're still living in the same house in Georgia. Where is the cocaine? I don't know. I'm sure she threw it out. But she could have, all that, you throw that out. What I'm saying? Yes, what are you going to do with it?
Starting point is 01:13:24 You're talking to the Internet. That's what she should have been doing. She should have been handling that before coming to the Internet and everything. Because if you're Dwight, you're going to say, I want a divorce because. The white around your wife, my wife has. cocaine and I don't know where it came from. All I know is there is a woman with a half
Starting point is 01:13:40 a kilo of cocaine somewhere in Atlanta that the federal authorities have not responded to yet. Where is the cocaine? Well, there's also a reporting to TMZ had went and they did a cause of service request so that's basically where you can ask the police how many times were the cops called to a certain address
Starting point is 01:13:56 and they found that in the last 14 days the cops have been called three times to that house so they've been. Oh yeah, with all that cocaine? That ain't no surprise. All that cocaine in the house. I don't know who you But if there's that much cocaine in the house, cops are going to be called numerous times because they're wilding in there. And were the kids taken away? Well, okay.
Starting point is 01:14:16 Because that's what is supposedly about. I haven't seen anything concrete on that. I did see an Amy's response. She said that he should be focused on the kids because that's the issue here and not divorce and whatever. And I know in some of the reporting when they talked about the fact that they were still living together, they mentioned that his son was in California with him over the last couple days and she was home. I don't really know what's happening on the CPS side. So I can't answer that indefinitely. But yeah, so speaking of Georgia and Atlanta, so Magic City Night, y'all know there's been this big argument back and forth about whether the Atlanta Hawks can do the Magic City night or not, which is where they planned to use Magic City to celebrate.
Starting point is 01:14:49 And strippers weren't even going to be dancing during this celebration game thing that they were doing. But officially, the NBA just came in and they canceled the event indefinitely. So it was supposed to happen on March 16th. But there has been so many concerns because of it being paired with Magic City. What kind of celebration was it? Was it just Magic City was open and they were showing the game because they were playing Orlando Magic and it just tied together. No, it's Magic City Night. So they had Magic City merchandise.
Starting point is 01:15:17 They got Ti-I performing. It was supposed to be music, food, merch, culture. At the arena. At the arena. Because what people may not realize is one of the owners of the Hawks, I can't remember her name. Melissa Proctor. No, not owner, sorry. She's a Tony Restler's wife. Look up who Tony Restless's wife is.
Starting point is 01:15:31 I can't remember her name. she's one of the owners of the Hawks she was also one of the producers on the Magic City documentary so it would make sense for her to want to do Magic City night why wouldn't you want to celebrate a cultural institution like Magic City when you think of brands in Atlanta
Starting point is 01:15:46 there's five that come to mind immediately for me Coca-Cola the Hawks the Falcons the Braves and Magic City Jamie Gerts yes when Melissa Proctor works on the But there was going to be no dances the strip is at the arena correct? No no that's what I'm saying
Starting point is 01:15:59 like it was going to just basically be because strip club culture is the culture of Atlanta like he just said. Magic City is a cultural institution. Five brands in Atlanta that I think of. Coca-Cola, the Braves, the Falcons, the Hawks, Magic City is a beautiful thing to see two corporations like Magic City
Starting point is 01:16:15 and the Hawks coming together for Magic City Night. But because, you know, so the San Antonio Spurr player Luke Quirnett, his comments sparked the whole conversation. I think honestly just for the... Somebody else too. Was that Al Hartford, too, or some? I know people are pointing to Luke Cornynick, because he was one of the
Starting point is 01:16:31 first. There was a lot of critics, but he was one of the first. What is he? Christian, gay? What is it? He was just talking about the fact that it sends a bad message to the women of the NBA and that they should get rid of the event. And I just think the NBA as a business probably just doesn't want all the drama. Man, what about the WNBA women love Magic City? Okay? The NBA men love Magic City. The NBA women be up in Magic City too.
Starting point is 01:16:53 Yes. But also when you think Magic City, I don't think of just a script club. It's a place to network. This place that has great food. Their food is so good that they ship nationwide through Gold Valley. But here's the issue. The issue when the NBA made their announcement of it not happening, what they said, a part of what they said was that they appreciate the team's perspective and their desire to move forward,
Starting point is 01:17:15 but they're hearing significant concerns from their league stakeholders, including fans, partners, and employees. Stakeholders, you know, I mean, do you don't mess up your money? It's difficult when you're not from a land end, you don't know the culture, right? Because all you see is strip club, gentleman in the club and you think it's the worst. That's not what I think.
Starting point is 01:17:29 Well, because you've been there before. I think Madison has been there before. I just think of a great black-owned business with great food. I think of music, breaking music. I think of DJs. Networking. Community. And yes,
Starting point is 01:17:39 there are dances there as well. But you go there and you break music there. Look, I don't know. It's not happening. I'm just here with that. There ain't none of them stakeholders have been to Magic City, because they wouldn't even feel like that if they've actually been to Magic City.
Starting point is 01:17:52 And once again, the young one, what's her name, Jamie Gertz, right? Yes, Jamie Gertz. Is Tony Ressler's wife, I believe. Sluet Tony Ressler. Yes. Tony Ressler is one of the owners at Atlanta,
Starting point is 01:18:01 That is his life. And she's also a primary owner as well. She was one of the producers of the Magic City documentary. Yeah. She's been there before, obviously. Of course. And she understands the cultural institution that Magic City is. So I don't have a problem with Magic City Night at the Atlanta Halls.
Starting point is 01:18:17 I don't know Mr. Magic. Like, if y'all don't just leave us alone and let us do what we do. You know, the NBA is connected to every gambling, you know, organization there is right now. All of the different. But this is where you draw the line. Magic City. Yeah. That's a good way to put it.
Starting point is 01:18:32 You're a part of every gambling. You could gamble on everything. First shot, second shot, three points, but Magic City's bag? Come on, man. Yes, well, that is the latest for the hour. And next latest, we'll get into some things because we have an update on Kanye West and where he's going to be at next. And when is the game?
Starting point is 01:18:51 When is the game supposed to be? Well, this event was supposed to be March 16th. March 16th. Magic City should still do an event at Magic City. Oh, Magic City will still be over. Oh, okay, yeah. They should still do it there. You thought they stopped the lemon pepper wings because the NBA said now?
Starting point is 01:19:04 No, no, no. I mean, still do that event that night because it's supposed to be Atlanta Hawks versus Orlando Magic, which made the whole Magic City thing, which would have been dope. Salute the Magic City. I love Magic City. Okay, my wife loves Magic City. All right. Magic City, when I went to Magic City and, you know, I didn't get my wings because somebody went to the window and said they was with me and they wasn't with me and they took our wings. Magic City shipped out them lemon pepper wings to us, man, via Goldbelly.
Starting point is 01:19:26 So I ain't nothing but love for Magic. Sluuta Magic City. Sluuta Lala, everybody there at Magic City. I'm sure they just leaving now. All right. Now, donkey today. I'll be there next month. When we're there for the Black Effect Podcast Festival, I will be at Magic City.
Starting point is 01:19:40 Make sure your credit card is down. Exactly. I'm going wherever your credit card go. What? Nothing. Who you give it a donkey to? Four after the hour, we need Charles Montgomery Island to come to the front of the congregation. As my grandmother would say, Lord, I ain't never seen a time like this.
Starting point is 01:19:55 All right. We'll get to that next. And don't forget, we're going to take your calls when we come back as well. Nicole Curtis. She just stopped through. That's the woman that said fart. And we just want to hear your thoughts. It's the breakfast club. Good morning. I just wanted to know how you came up with the donkey of the day. Because you're mean. I am not.
Starting point is 01:20:11 I'm doing it. There's a bunch of donkeys out here in the streets. If we live a life where we bite our tongue based off who we may offend, we never would say anything. We don't give it to him. Give it to him. Give it to him. On the breakfast club. In the words of Charlemagne, the guy, he's a donkey. He's a donkey. Oh, man, Charlemagne, you giving Donkey Day to Who Now? Well, Buster Rhymes, Donkey Day for Tuesday, March 10th goes to Charles Montgomery Allen.
Starting point is 01:20:42 He's 40 years old, and he's from my beautiful home state of South Carolina. But he is not a beautiful person, okay? In fact, he represents the worst of us because I have no idea what the hell is wrong with humans anymore. Every day I wake up and I read a story that reminds me of why Jesus is not coming back. Okay, he's not. I wouldn't. Okay, all y'all going to do is make ridiculous memes about him. Anyway, can you imagine to think pieces with no thought about Jesus if he came back? It would be so many ridiculous YouTube videos calling Jesus a fraud.
Starting point is 01:21:12 Okay, Jesus, don't even waste your time, OG. Just keep watching over us from afar. Okay, I have read all the stories about U.S. service members who were told the war with Iran is meant to cause Armageddon or the end of biblical times. That right there is yet another reason Jesus is not coming back. Okay, y'all always attaching his name to foolishness. But I'm saying all of this because my grandmother used to always say, I ain't never seen a time like this.
Starting point is 01:21:38 And this was the 80s and 90s. Here we are in 2006. Here I am in 2006. At the big old age of 47 saying, Lord, I ain't never seen a time like this. Okay, there is so much evil in the world. But there is also so much untreated mental illness in the world. And untreated mental illness, mental health disorders can absolutely drive criminal behavior.
Starting point is 01:21:58 And in the case of Charles Allen, I don't know if he had any mental health issues. Maybe I'm just hoping he did because, It would help me understand why he committed such a heinous act of violence. Would you like to know what Charles Allen Montgomery did? Well, let's go to 9 ABC for the report, please. A man in South Carolina will spend the rest of his life in prison after he admitted to shooting and killing an eight-year-old from Portsmouth. Quarious Dunham was just vacationing with his family and Flore in South Carolina back in
Starting point is 01:22:26 2022 when he was hit in the neck by a bullet. Dunham's father was also shot but survived. Officials say Charles Montgomery Allen was randomly firing a gun at passing vehicles when it hit the Dunham's and some other people. Yesterday, he pleaded guilty to one count of murder and five counts of attempted murder. First thing first, rest in peace, the eight-year-old query is Dunham. As you just heard, vacationing with his family in Florence, South Carolina and was shot and killed by Charles Montgomery Allen because Charles was randomly, randomly firing a gun at passing vehicles. Why? Why? Why? Charles, if you wanted to be a first-person shooter, there's so many video games for that.
Starting point is 01:23:09 Call of Duty isn't enough. Battlefield 6, Dead Space. You couldn't go to the gun range. You couldn't wait until it was deer hunting season. Like, there's so many different ways you could choose to bust your gun. There's so many different ways you could exercise your Second Amendment rights, but you decided to randomly shoot at passing vehicles. I really wish people like this would turn the gun on themselves first before they decided to shoot at
Starting point is 01:23:32 random people. I would much rather you take yourself out than be shooting at random passing vehicles and end up doing what you did, which was killed an 8 year old boy for no reason. As you heard in the news report, the young man's father was also shot, but he survived. And I am sending that brother healing energy because some things are just out of the realm of my understanding. And I couldn't possibly understand what that father has been going through the past few years. And I pray to God that I never have to feel anything remotely to what he's felt. Okay. Now, the Justice Department it's great that this man got sinister forever in prison but that's not bringing
Starting point is 01:24:06 um quarrys back and it still doesn't make us understand why Charles did this in the first place I'm from South Carolina born and raised there's a lot of things I grew up loving to do okay shooting that random cause was never one of them okay all right the fact that we are forced to have
Starting point is 01:24:22 to deal with each other's crazy on a regular the problem is back in the day we were all segregated okay kids like Charles eight lunch before everyone else. They was in those trailers in the back. They rode the bus that was shaped like Druski.
Starting point is 01:24:37 Now we all in the real world together and nobody knows who's who. And some of those people have grown up and those untreated mental health disorders are driving criminal behavior. I have nothing else to offer, okay, this conversation because this defies human logic. And it's times like this that I just have to remember Proverbs 3,5. Lean not on your own understanding. Okay. I have to trust in God's wisdom rather than relying on my human logic because my human logic can't even understand, can't even comprehend why the hell Charles was just shooting at random passing vehicles.
Starting point is 01:25:13 Okay, this is a time that calls for full surrender because nothing about this situation makes sense to me. All right? Please give Charles Montgomery Allen the biggest he-ho. You got to tell me son. You got to tell me there's a mental health disorder. You got to tell me that there was cocaine involved. you got to tell me that there was some alcohol, something. Still don't matter.
Starting point is 01:25:34 Like what caused him to just want to randomly shoot that passing vehicle? It's still, man. I don't get it, man. Rest and peace, the query has done him. Sending healing energy to his family. Eight years old, man. Horrible. All right.
Starting point is 01:25:49 Well, thank you for that donkey of the day. Yes, indeed. Now, when we come back, Nicole Curtis just joined us. You know, she's the young lady from HGTV. She has a show, she'll had a show called Rehab Attic, and she was the one that said, fart and word. That's right. I know it's not like I'm having a stroke
Starting point is 01:26:04 every time he said that, but he's saying fart and word. Right. Yes. So the white woman who said fart and word. So we just talked to her last hour. And we want to hear your thoughts. The phone line's already lit up. So 800-5-1501. She reached out to Lauren LaRosa after I gave her donkey her today. And for whatever reason, she decided she wanted to come on Breakfast Club to explain herself.
Starting point is 01:26:22 She says she wanted to clear it up and I don't know what she expected. I mean, well, we'll take your calls when we come back. It's the Breakfast Club. Good morning. Morning everybody is DJ NVV Just Hilarious. Shalameen Nagai, we are the Breakfast Club. If you're just joining us last hour, Nicole Curtis joined us. She was from HGTV.
Starting point is 01:26:40 She had a show called Rehab Attic. She was the young lady that said Fartnick on... Fart N-word. Fart N-word on as she was taping. Do we have a clip of her saying it? Why? That's my last one. Oh, fart.
Starting point is 01:26:57 What the f*** is that that I just said? Nick, you got to... You got it. Can you kill that? So she did an interview. She wanted to apologize. She did an interview. Well, we did an interview with her, I should say.
Starting point is 01:27:11 Yeah, if we did an interview with her, she apologized. She said she wanted to clear things up, and the phone lines have been lit ever since. So I think it's right that we go to the phone lines and talk to the people. Hello, who's this? Y'all, Nate, from Tampa, Florida. Nate, good morning, Nate. Canadian women are looking for more. And I find a lot of people with strong placements in Aquarius are misunderstood. A son and Venus and Aquarius in her seventh house spark her unconventional approach. approach to partnership. Starting point is 01:29:24 the Spirit Daughter podcast starting on February 24th on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you listen to your podcast. segregation and the day integration at night. When segregation was the law, one mysterious black club owner had his own rules. We didn't worry about what went on outside. It was like stepping on another world. Inside Charlie's place, black and white people danced together. But not everyone was happy about it.
Starting point is 01:29:55 You saw the KKK? Yeah, they were dressed up in their uniform. The KKK set out to raise. They, Charlie, take him away from here. Charlie was an example of power. They had to crush him. From Atlas Obscura, Rococo Punch, and visit Myrtle Beach, comes Charlie's Place. A story that was nearly lost to time.
Starting point is 01:30:20 Until now. Listen to Charlie's Place on the Iheart radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. Segregation and the day integration at night. When segregation was the law, one mysterious black club owner had his own rules. We didn't worry about what went on outside. It was like stepping on another world. Inside Charlie's place, black and white people danced together. But not everyone was happy about it.
Starting point is 01:30:55 You saw the KKK? Yeah, they were dressed up in their uniform. The KKK set out to raid Charlie, take him away from here. Charlie was an example of power. They had to crush you. From Atlas Obscura, Rococo Punch, and Visit Myrtle Beach, comes Charlie's place. A story that was nearly lost to time. Until now.
Starting point is 01:31:22 Listen to Charlie's Place on the Iheart radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. Now, in the comments, in the description here, it says that you're mixed. Yeah, I'm mixed, definitely. So you can only say Nick. My dad's black. My mom. He said Nick. You can only say Nick.
Starting point is 01:31:41 I'm in Florida. So we always say the N-word. No, no. Those are the rules. Nope. You can only say me. Okay, so let's go to this lady. Let's go to this lady real quick.
Starting point is 01:31:51 This lady was not directing that towards nobody. Charlaman, you be trolling, man. Y'all take things too serious. That lady whole reputation on the line. And she didn't refer to nobody, not talking about a specific person, just blurting out. something. Now, what she wrong? The lady admitted she was wrong.
Starting point is 01:32:10 But for her to have her whole life, you know, come on, bro. That ain't got nothing to do with us. We didn't ruin her life. Listen, your words have consequences. If I say something on this radio that offends somebody and, you know, I end up losing my position for it, that's on me.
Starting point is 01:32:27 Yeah, but it depends on what you say. No, no. No, that was her. She said it, and she got to finish her own consequences. And she did want to come here. Yes. Like she wanted to come up here to have a conversation. Yes, she got to deal with the consequences or actions.
Starting point is 01:32:41 I mean, I understand what you're saying. Yes, everybody should, you know, be given forgiveness and, you know, you should be able to make mistakes. But you still got to deal with the consequences of what you did. It's just that I'm 30, bro, I'm 37 years old. And you have white. When I grew up, we didn't have, we didn't have, we didn't have where somebody just blew up and it became just picking on somebody.
Starting point is 01:33:01 We got Donald Trump, you know what we got out there. and everybody worried about what this lady said. Tell me about some fart. Come on, bro. What are we talking about here? This is the bad thing, right? In all these different communities, there's derogatory terms for every community,
Starting point is 01:33:16 a group of people, right? But we're the only group that when somebody says it, we give us somebody, we let it slide. If you would have said it's something to a Jewish person, something to a Spanish person, something to any other one, an Asian person,
Starting point is 01:33:29 there's going to be consequences, right or wrong. But you're saying, oh, fart, it's something I've known. never heard before, it's cool. So, and so, so I don't know. That's going to show you she was just saying stuff.
Starting point is 01:33:40 She wasn't even, like, talking too fast, man. She's talking too quick. I understand your half-white side wants to come to her defense. Oh. Thank you, brother. People got to deal with the consequences of their action. Yeah, they do, but I get what he's saying, but yeah, not because he mixed, but I definitely get what he's saying.
Starting point is 01:33:55 I don't think the lady is racist, but yeah, she definitely effed up and she said some effed-up-ish, so yeah. Hello, who's this? Oh, no, this, Nika. What's up, Eddie, every high you, good morning. Morning. Meera. Good morning.
Starting point is 01:34:07 What's up? What you call it from? Man. I'm from D.C. I'm from D.C. Okay. Talk to us, Mika. What's up, baby?
Starting point is 01:34:14 What's up? Yes. Hey, baby. What's going on? What's good? What's good, boo? Heavy stutter energy. But got to talk to us.
Starting point is 01:34:20 She is not a study. Shut up. Oh. You know, damn, still. She doesn't watch my mouth. I don't know. Watch your mouth, boy. Watch your mouth.
Starting point is 01:34:26 I'm sorry. Continue on. All right, all right. All right. The little d'a lady. Little d'a lady, she came all real here talking about all that, but she never apologized. And then she's talking in the background talking about she gets... When you watch her show and the end of each one of her episodes,
Starting point is 01:34:40 she tell you how much she pays for the house, how much she's going to share the house, how much she's going to profit off the house. She always picked a profit. She never sold a house or less than $3.50. In Detroit, that's a lot of money for a house. So she was on a lot of profit without apologize. She did apologize, though. Now, I never heard the same word.
Starting point is 01:34:58 Excuse me, black community. I apologize. Yeah, she, yeah. She apologized. No, I made her look at the camera and apologize. Okay, because you answered that. Like, who did you apologize? You was like, to who?
Starting point is 01:35:11 Who did you apologize? She said, my kids first. Now, she did apologize. Yeah, I made her look at the camera and apologize. Yeah, she did. You can tell she was also very, very nervous, right? Yeah, she was trying to overly explain. I was like, ooh.
Starting point is 01:35:22 800. But she was trying to use the right word. She didn't want to say, I'm in the hood. She kept saying, like, I'm in Detroit, like Detroit, Detroit, Not gentrified Detroit, but Detroit. She has black friends. That's what she said, but she didn't want to say that because she was scared of him over there.
Starting point is 01:35:38 Now, Nicole Curtis stopped through early. If you don't know who Nicole Curtis is, she's the former host of the AGTV show Rehab Attic, and she said fart inward on what she was recording. This is, let's play the audio. Why? That's my last one. Oh, fart.
Starting point is 01:36:00 What is the fuck is that I just said? Nick, you got to, can you kill that? So we're asking, what are your thoughts? 800-585-105-1. Hello, who's this? Yo, this is Jack from Izzy. Gay, what up, bro? Man, well, why we always got to get these people across, man.
Starting point is 01:36:21 She's just trying to do damage control. I agree. You know what I'm saying? It's like they say what they say all the time, and then when they get caught, now let me explain myself. like she told on the cell she was in the comfort of all the home she said all the time and then just got caught I agree I mean listen and you got to deal with the
Starting point is 01:36:41 consequences of your words now if that is true if she just would have said that that would have been way better than all of that beating around the bush that she was doing yo if you just say it just say you say it but the thing is she said she replaces curses right like she says fart uh knocker fart digger fart digger but all if that was the case all you have to do is just prove all the time that you said it. Yeah, so this is what I said it, and it slipped. People would be more understanding.
Starting point is 01:37:06 Yeah. But not just out the blue, because we've never even heard that term. Yeah. Hello, who's this? Brittany from Nap Town, 317. 317. What's up, Brittany? Hey, what's up, y'all?
Starting point is 01:37:15 So I got a lot to say about her coming up there. For one, she needs donkey of the day again. Hey, again, okay. Again, because it was pointless. What was the point of the conversation? I have no idea. She didn't apologize to the black community. She did apologize to her kids.
Starting point is 01:37:31 We must have to cut down. that part out because she did apologize. Y'all didn't keep her apologizing. She did a problem. I didn't hear no apologies. Yeah, I made her look at the camera and apologize. That is, that's why I was so disappointed. Just apologize.
Starting point is 01:37:43 I apologize. I do. I did and I do. I apologize. The camera's right there. Yes, I do. Well, well, let's just say this. It wasn't good enough.
Starting point is 01:37:52 She could just stayed her little tail where she was at. Right. Because, because what you're saying is like he still had to make her do it. She didn't come up here. That should have been the first thing she started with. But it wasn't. It wasn't. Yeah, that's what I'm saying.
Starting point is 01:38:03 It was pointless to me. And that's the only reason I made her do it, because I'm just like, what is all of this rambling about? Yeah. Yeah, she did nothing but rambled the entire time. I wasn't pleased with it, and I'm sure nobody else was either. Well, thank you for calling, Mama. It was very pointless. Hello, who's this?
Starting point is 01:38:20 Hi, this is Jamie. Calling it from Philly. Hey, Jamie. Talk to us. Hey, so I'm calling to make a comment on that HDTV broad. Yes, ma'am. She got on here, and she said a bunch of nothing. Basically, what she's doing is she's trying to hold up her image to say that she's not like that
Starting point is 01:38:37 and want to highlight all of the things that she's accomplished. That N-word is the joke in every Caucasian household all the time. They're very conscious of where they're saying it and when they're saying it and who's around when they're saying it. This time it's slipped. She forgot where she was because she was caught up in the moment of what she was doing on her show. That's what I'm calling to say. I'm not buying that.
Starting point is 01:39:01 There's other words that DeKinpe said. They know that that word is degrading. It's the reason I come there using it. Okay. Period. Period. That's right. Hello, who's this?
Starting point is 01:39:13 Yo, good morning. Mike, Mike. Mike, Mike, what's up, talk to us? What are you calling from Mike? I'm calling you from New Jersey. All right. Hi, Mike. What's your thoughts, Mike?
Starting point is 01:39:21 Yeah, I felt just though, she seemed like a genuine person. But coming on the show, it didn't really help her much because she didn't show too much. comfortability. It was always and again and again and again, right? So she was very much befriending herself. And to be quite honest, I don't use a lot of words, but for something to flip from the mind to the tongue, it had to be in the thoughts at some point. She could have chosen any other word or an intelligent word, but that came out. And at the end, you guys were given her great advice on how she can repair this. But instead of listening, she was all
Starting point is 01:39:58 about, yeah, I do that. Yeah. Responding. Yeah. I have black contract. Like, yeah. For a moment, just listen. I get you guys are having fun over there, too, but for a moment, like, you guys
Starting point is 01:40:08 were being serious and trying to help her, but it's still lack of concability. So I think, but on this show, you guys heard her because she didn't make it any better. She just made it worse. Yeah, that was her fault. Yeah. Yeah, you guys, I guess, as much as you all were having fun, as you were being very genuine, trying to see humans to you more with her. and at some point she's saying
Starting point is 01:40:29 I didn't say it but in the audio said she said it so I'm confused as to did you say it or did you not no no she said it she said it she kept saying she he said I know I can show you the wrong I don't know with that
Starting point is 01:40:41 from her mode sometimes she is saying I didn't say it but I didn't mean it so it's contradicting statements and to claim it leaked you said one other person had access to this but suddenly you're not sure who it could be
Starting point is 01:40:54 how many persons have access to the code in your phone Charlemagne that you can't tell who would send the video out of your phone or an audio. You gotta know who did it. Nobody. Exactly, so she doesn't seem like a bad person. She just seems like one of those persons that would say something and say,
Starting point is 01:41:11 hey, I have black friends. She doesn't seem like she would slap a black person, but she's not considerate at all. Thank you for calling, brother. Yeah, man, take it easy. All right. Is there more to the story? Yeah, I mean, just for me as a person
Starting point is 01:41:23 who has had to deal with the consequences of their words, I don't feel sorry for her. I don't feel no sympathy for her at ever. If you say something and you offend people and you lose something for it, that's on you. You have to hold yourself accountable for that and I don't appreciate people
Starting point is 01:41:37 who play victim. You know, after they say something and then people hold them accountable for it, like you're not the victim here. I will say this, though. If she was the type of person that uses other words for curse words, like fart digger and fart knocker
Starting point is 01:41:49 and these are things that she said before in the past and we would see this, then I would feel a little bad for her. Because I'd be like, okay. Because you see newscasters do it all the time when they say something and, you know, all types of words. But if that's not the case, that word just came from nowhere. NB, we don't know this woman. I know, but that's what I'm saying.
Starting point is 01:42:07 We're not with her 24-7-3-66. But that's what I'm saying. But if she did it on the show, those terms would be on the show because she's done the show for 10-plus years. I call you fragomag. And you know why it comes out so easy? Because I use it all the time. Correct. Okay.
Starting point is 01:42:19 So, like, you know, I'm not, I don't know. I don't know this woman personally. I just know she said what she said. and she got to deal with the consequences of that moment. Right. I don't care about nothing else. You got to deal with the consequences of that moment. Right.
Starting point is 01:42:32 And then they overly explained. Just say, my bad, I'm sorry. Yeah. I'm sorry. Well, you know, I have friends that's here. And again. And again. You know, I'm sorry.
Starting point is 01:42:42 I said something. I shouldn't have said, I don't know where it came from. I apologize. I'm sorry. If you're doing too much explaining, you're probably losing. Correct. She wanted to come here. Yep.
Starting point is 01:42:54 Yes, she did. All right. Well, when we come back, we got the latest with Lauren. It's the breakfast club. Good morning. Lauren becoming a straight fat. She gets them from somebody that knows somebody. She gets the details. I'm the home girl that knows a little bit about everything.
Starting point is 01:43:07 She'd be having the latest on this. The latest with Lauren La Rosa. Sometimes you have facts, sometimes you have details, sometimes you have a little bit of everything. Well, it's the latest. Brought to you by Top Dog Law. On the Breakfast Club. Talk to me.
Starting point is 01:43:21 All right, guys. So Kanye West is getting back on the stage in the U.S. So he announced or it was announced yesterday that he is going to be doing his first show in the U.S. in L.A. This is his first show in L.A. in five years. The last time he did a show in L.A. It was back in 2021. That was
Starting point is 01:43:39 the Free Larry Hoover concert that he did alongside Drake. And he was supposed to do something in 2022 at SoFi Stadium, but that was when he did the whole White Life's Matter shirt thing. So that show didn't happen. But he's back and it'll be going down. Is this coming with new music or do we know? Because I know one time he was doing an album.
Starting point is 01:43:54 something like that, right? Yeah, so he does have a bully that is supposed to be happening. So, yeah. And this show will happen on April 3rd. So depending on that's supposed to be dropping in March, but it keeps, we, it was one day, and then we found out it was March. And so as long as the music comes, yeah, there will be some of the music, but you never know what kind of.
Starting point is 01:44:12 But, yeah, so he'll be back. Cool. There. Yep. Now, in other news, Gary Owen is married, y'all. Salute to Gary Owen. Congratulations. Yes.
Starting point is 01:44:23 Yes. So he told us he was getting married last time he was here. Well, last time he was here, he said that he had, like, proposed, but he didn't really want to give too much information. Let's take a listen to the last time Gary Owen was here. There were rumors that you proposed to your current girlfriend. Yep. You did?
Starting point is 01:44:39 Okay. Okay, Gary? Talk that talk. Yeah, I did. Oh, congratulations. Amazing. Did you post about that? Huh?
Starting point is 01:44:46 Did you post about that? She did. Okay. I didn't. Why? I didn't know she was going to post about it. She just did it. I was like, whoa.
Starting point is 01:44:53 I thought we were going to keep this list. Oh, so you didn't like it or share it or nothing. It's not even like it. It was just, I thought we were keeping it somewhat off the internet. Because everything I went through with the other ones. I heard everything. Yeah, so it came out in People Magazine as an exclusive. And the way that they did the wedding, so he had the wrong.
Starting point is 01:45:09 I was shocked to see Gary and people. I'm not going to lie. Right. Then he can't get Netflix or People Magazine. I mean, but it's all people. But only because Gary has been keeping the situation so close to his vest, I didn't think that he would put it out there like that. He told us behind the scene.
Starting point is 01:45:26 That's my whole point. Genius. God damn, boy. Yeah. This guy's crazy. I'm crazy. They did the wedding in Houston. There were 170 guests.
Starting point is 01:45:37 Now, this is cool. So he used all of his Think Like a Man and Think Like a Man to co-stars. So Terrence J. Jerry Ferreira, Michael Ely. They were Will Packer. They were all there. And they all served as his groomsmen. I don't think Kevin Hall was there.
Starting point is 01:45:49 I think he was shooting a movie. No? Yeah, he's not listed. They were. They all served as his groomsmen. And then, I mean, he had other notable guests there as well, too. Ocho Cinco actually officiated the wedding. He posted and said a special thing before allowing me as a brother of the cloth
Starting point is 01:46:04 and newly anointed officiant to marry you both, wishing you a lifetime of love and happiness. Here's to a long and happy marriage. So, yeah, they did the day. Congratulations to them. Was it, like, any other, like, his own friends or, like, other white family members? Like, it was just all co-stars, like, in the wedding? It wasn't.
Starting point is 01:46:22 Um, that I see, I see, Voxie Diaz was there, Lou Lel, Sheila Cohen. I mean, he's talked about not being as like close to some of his family. So, you know, I've been in the business a long time. So I mean, those, those are his friends. Yes. Yep. So they did the whole thing. Congratulations to them.
Starting point is 01:46:40 Uh, now somebody who is not getting a ring and Charlemagne, I don't know what is up with your team and not being able to do that, but. Damn. I don't want to hear your report sports. That press, not sports. Dack Prescott. I mean, he is a, Cowboys player. but the story that I'm about to talk about.
Starting point is 01:46:54 Thank you. The story I'm about to talk about. So a couple days ago, the news broke that Dak Prescott and his fiance, Sarah Jane Ramos, were, that they broke up. Now, they're supposed to be getting married on April 10th, so a month from now, right?
Starting point is 01:47:07 So this story broke, and people were trying to figure out why they broke up. There was speculation that it was a pre-nup situation. So now, today... Is she white? Yes. Well, her last name is Ramos. I assume she was like...
Starting point is 01:47:18 Latina or something like that. I mean, but... She looks Caucasian. heavily. So basically, a source had to come out and clear up the fact that Sarah was not pressed about a pre-up situation. So the conversation was, people were saying that she broke off this marriage a month out of, a month out, I'm sorry, broke off her engagement a month before her wedding because
Starting point is 01:47:40 she had a very tense pre-up conversation. So they were down in the Bahamas. They had the bachelor, bachelorette party, the bachelor party there. And there was this big argument that happened and then everything stopped. from reports. It was not about a pre-up. They want to make it clear that Sarah Jane Ramos does well for herself. She's in the spirits and wine industry
Starting point is 01:47:58 and that she comes from a family that does well for themselves. So it's never been about her money. But the story does say she was not ever asked to sign a pre-up. Her ethnicity is half Italian, Sicilian, a quarter English, and a quarter of Spanish. Dr. Humma would be confused.
Starting point is 01:48:14 Man, where we begin. Yeah, but they were a month out. She had posted a photo of like her, all of her, like, bridesmaids and the caption was like, you know, with these girls and this love, I could get through anything, but then some of the posts have now been taken off of her Instagram. So I really don't know what's happening and why
Starting point is 01:48:32 they split up, but you get to that point and y'all got a breakup, I'll be pretty pissed off. And they sent out an email to the guest, right? And the email basically said it was a joint email. It says, with heavy hearts, we privately inform our attendees that we have made the very difficult decision to cancel our wedding. We deeply apologize
Starting point is 01:48:47 for the inconveniences may cause you in we welcome your prayers. They were supposed to be getting married in Italy. So do you get deposits back and all of that at this point, too? Like, how does that work? You're in insurance on it. Italy. Like, Como?
Starting point is 01:49:01 Really? Yeah. What? No, that's my dude. You got a number on Dak? What? You want to borrow his wedding venue? What?
Starting point is 01:49:09 He paid for it already. Oh, my God. Yes. Oh, you were so. And that's where he proposed. That's where... Oh, snap. That's where your daughter's...
Starting point is 01:49:18 That's why you like this. Because you want to shoot your shot. That's actually fire. Dak Prescott's a marriage. Okay. I mean, they paid for the venue already. No. I paid for some flights. But what if he can get his money back, Envy?
Starting point is 01:49:30 It can't. It's too late now. I don't know. They figure it out. A month out, I would be devastated if I have to cancel my wedding. Hey, man, we got Rashon Gary yesterday, man. Dropping on a clue bond for the Dallas Cowboys, okay? I don't get a ring now. I don't know who Dak losing, but I know who we gained, all right?
Starting point is 01:49:46 Okay. Well, yeah, that was so mean. Why was that mean? Because it's like it's his wedding. He's been with this girl for a long time. And he's losing a lot of money. Yes. But anyway, I told you guys yesterday.
Starting point is 01:49:59 The quarter Italian. A quarter, a quarter. A quarter. So she was 100% no quarter nothing. A quarter of a lot. I care about our offensive line and our defense. I think it's only right though. Since he's not getting married at that venue, he paid for the venue already.
Starting point is 01:50:16 You know what? If I can use the venue, I think I should be able to use the venue. All right. I mean, we heard you all three times. Hopefully he did. Maybe Sarah did, right? Jesus. Yeah, but we're wrapping up.
Starting point is 01:50:26 And remember yesterday, guys, I told you that Brian Steele had asked to be Lil Dirk's attorney. Yes. So the judge granted it. So that's going to be moving forward. That'll be happening. So we'll be keeping you guys posted there as they go into court in August and prepare for that. So, yeah. All right.
Starting point is 01:50:41 All right. Well, that's the latest. Wait, I forgot to tell the people. Brought to your bio? Yeah. Top Dog Law. Speaking of the court, any accident, big or small, called Top Dog Law. Sponsored by Top Dog Law.
Starting point is 01:50:49 All right, well, salute to Timberland, of course. Today is Timbalan's birthday. We're going to play some Timbo. Happy Born Day, Timbo. I didn't say his name like that. Timbo. I thought it was Timbalin. Wait a minute.
Starting point is 01:50:58 Today, Bad Bunny born day and you Dominican, why you ain't reprehial Latino people. Did you all see what Bad Bunny posted on his Instagram for his birthday? No. Oh, my God. Oh, man. It's the breakfast club. Happy morning. What are we did draw.
Starting point is 01:51:09 Your mornings will never be the same. Other wireless carriers tell you when to pay. Text now ask, what do you need? It's at first. phone service without commitments, credit checks, or carrier attitude. Built for the people who stop asking for permission. Download and try text now today. Morning everybody. It's DJ NVJJJLah Larry,
Starting point is 01:51:31 Sholomey and the Guy. We are the Breakfast Club. It's Women's History Month. What we doing? So we're rapping Kayla Richards, played by Holly Berry, in the movie Losing Isaiah. So Kayla Richards is a black woman who's struggling with an addiction to crack. Desperate for drugs. She places her infant son, Isaiah, and a body. and leaves him in the alley behind the crack house. So Kayla, she expected to come back. She promised to be back or whatever.
Starting point is 01:51:55 She just needed to leave him somewhere that she thought was safe, but she was after drugs, so she couldn't think straight. The next day, she come back, and he almost got killed by a garbage truck because she put him in the dumpster, but he was gone. When she came back and he was gone, he later ended up in the care of this white woman.
Starting point is 01:52:12 So what Kayla did was get ourselves together, and she ended up getting our son back. When she got him back, it wasn't as easy as she thought it was going to be because he had to get to know her again. You know what I mean? He was adopted by this white woman named Margaret who gave her all the care,
Starting point is 01:52:26 who gave him all the care that he needed and everything. But basically, I'm highlighting Kayla Richards is because the strength that she had to turn her life around after seeing her son was taken away from her for using drugs and the sacrifice that she made or whatever. I think that's really, really great that she did that. You can turn your life around no matter what,
Starting point is 01:52:48 and our kids make us better. And what the white lady did was help her raise him. She didn't give up. Kayla didn't give up. She saw how it was a strain. Like he didn't know her no more. So like she didn't give up on trying to raise him. But she called the lady and they raised them together.
Starting point is 01:53:04 So I think that's dope. Salute to Kayla Richards. Okay. You know there's real life examples of people you could have found to bring that together. That would hit harder. You know, it's a character. No, it's going to hit where it's going to hit. exactly how it's supposed to hit you.
Starting point is 01:53:19 You know why? Because movies are made following the inspiration of people's real lives. It's a lot of Kayla Richards out here. But I didn't want to put no real ex-crack head out there. You know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 01:53:30 So I just used the movie version. And we all seen losing Isaiah, but she lost him, but found him and took care of him. All right. Happy women's history, Mom. Y'all can't say that in here, how are you?

It's one of the books that I recommend when people, you know, ask me about books. But Don Miguel Ruiz said in the Four Agreements, if someone is not treating you with love and respect, it is a gift if they walk away from you.
Starting point is 01:54:35 If that person doesn't walk away, you will surely endure many years of suffering with him or her. Walking away may hurt for a while, but your heart will eventually heal. Then you can choose what you really want. You will find that you don't need to trust others as much as you need to trust yourself to make the right choices. Have a great day. Breakfast club, bitches.
