Starting point is 00:02:17 Every day I wake up. Wake your ass up. The breakfast club. You're all finished or y'all done? Morning, everybody. It's DJ NV. J. Salomein de Guy. We are the breakfast club and all the roses.
Starting point is 00:02:30 here as well. And we got a special guest in the building from Zeus Network, ladies and gentlemen, Lamele Plummer. Welcome, brother. Thank you, man. How you feeling? I'm feeling good. How about you? I'm a little under the weather, but I'm hanging in there. I'm coming in this motherfucker sick. Don't come in and say, man. They told me you hear to promote music.
Starting point is 00:02:48 I know that ain't true. I got a new song out, man, so. You write it. Let's start. Let's play. I want to hear right now. Daddy, dad. Must be bored. Where is it? All that money, you getting in and you decide to rap? I know, man. He is. Where is the record? Yeah, let's go, let's play it.
Starting point is 00:03:01 Who got the record? Can you just give you some of the records? You got it? It's on Spotify and iTunes. Told y'all it was out. What's it called? It's called. Baddy Dad.
Starting point is 00:03:12 No, no, no, it's called Baddy Bad. What is called? The song is called Baddy Bad. It's on Apple? It's on Apple. It's on Spotify. It's everywhere. Baddy Bad.
Starting point is 00:03:21 You're pulling it up right now. Badie Bad. It's a promoting my little. He'll mark in jeans. This thing is said, look, I'm going to promote my hottest show. Featting LaMellie Bad. plumber. It says Natalie Nunno. Natalie got me on the song. This is my first song.
Starting point is 00:03:35 He's been rapping on music too. No, come, come on. Let's hear loud. Let's hear a lot. Let's hear out. He can pull it out. Okay. Let's hear the right. Let's see. I know. I know. I'm not about the rap. Let's see. Start it for the beginning, please. Oh, well, my verses is towards the end. No, I'm going to look at a whole two minutes, eight seconds. Let's go. Oh, that's cool. That's cool. It ain't long. I don't know why you're doing this too. I know. I know. I don't know why either, man. He's
Starting point is 00:03:59 He's on board. I want to get that rich track and you start rapping for no reason. All this money, you get me, man. I might as well do a song, shit. You can't do everything, and I haven't even heard the song yet. Let's prove him wrong.
Starting point is 00:04:11 Let's hear you go. All, let's listen. for baddies, niggins. That was the last lie. That was my first time rapping, man. You're bored, bro. He's on board, man. You made too much money to be doing it.
Starting point is 00:04:38 You sound like Christian Combs. You sound like you do. You look like you could be a Diddy Older son, too. Anybody to tell you that? Are you proud of yourself? Yeah, I am, man. I had a good time, that was fun. I liked everything about the song except for y'all.
Starting point is 00:04:52 Oh, gosh. What? That's the whole song. No, I like the beat and I like the concept of it, because I think that's a dope record to flip. But if you were going to do it, you should have got, like, Webby on it. Like, actually put Webby on the record? You know, it wasn't my call.
Starting point is 00:05:05 That was Natalie's call. Okay. Why did you want to rap? Were you rapping before? No, she asked me to be on the song. So, you know, I told her, I'm not a rapper, you know. But for you, I would. You came in here, rap, but you switched out the glasses now.
Starting point is 00:05:18 I know, I don't see you. Sorry. I knew I was playing the song, so. But, yeah, no, I told her. I was embarrassed when the song was playing, didn't you? No, I was actually. He was rapping. You know, we've been playing it all weekend.
Starting point is 00:05:30 Did you rap before? Were you a rapper before? Never. And as a kid, and it was like... No, I've never, I've never been a rapper. Never. What made you say, yeah, to us? You're still not a rapper now, no.
Starting point is 00:05:39 I'm gonna... Stop. What? What made you say yes? To Natalie, when she said, Joe, I got this track. I want you to be on. Yeah, I told her, you know, Baddies is, is a huge hit for us.
Starting point is 00:05:53 So we always try to find unique ways to market the brand and I know me being on there, you know, probably would have gave it a little bit more, you know, exposure and media. So we got a little bit in our world. Natalie Dunn and Webby would have been a good combination. You know what I'm saying with all the baddies, girls in the videos. Yeah, that's true. That might be true. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:06:15 I don't know. I tried it. But thanks for the feedback, man. I appreciate it. What about Ray J? Do you think about it on work? Oh, God. Did you ever think about it a little bit?
Starting point is 00:06:23 I might, you know. I might, oh, God. He might do it. You never know Ray J? I might put Ray J on it, you know? I might. All right. So love Kevin.
Starting point is 00:06:33 Shut up. What you mean? What you mean? What you mean? Love Cabin, please let us know what this is about, man. What is wrong? What is it? Like, I had an option.
Starting point is 00:06:45 I hate these things, y'all. I keep coming back. I thought, wait. You're Ray J made up? I'm sorry? Y'all made up? You know? Him and who?
Starting point is 00:06:56 Ray J. Because I know. Right, right? Yeah, because he said he might get on the record. I'm like, oh, y'all made up? No, you know, we figuring it out. We got something that we're going to be talking about Ray J and I publicly, so. Oh, okay. Yeah, we're looking at discussing our issues publicly.
Starting point is 00:07:14 On your platform or on Tronics? On Zuse, on Zeus. No, I mean, not like that, but, you know, Ray, uh, Ray and I are. So you guys spoke after the little spat your hat outside at time? Initially, yeah, because I didn't. didn't know what was going on and he just kind of he was serious I was joking and it just turned into a real situation to some degree I mean you know I understand the marketing and you know of it all but I think he he got a little too too excited and you know it just became a thing and you know
Starting point is 00:07:48 when he when he reached out and kind of you know swung at me I kind of reacted you know because I'm not really a confrontational person, so more of a talker, you know, let's figure it out. You're in the boxing, would you go in the ring with Ray J? Full? Yeah, I'll box Ray J. I'm an athlete. I mean, you know, I'm not, respectfully, I'm not afraid of any man, but, you know, I think, I think that'd be an interesting experience. How does security let them swing at you, though? Like, you roll, like, the president.
Starting point is 00:08:20 Like, how did they, how did Ray J even get a swing? You know, Ray and I have had a great friendship for many years. So, you know, at the time when he was promoting his platform, he was kind of, I felt like he was disparaging me quite a bit. And, you know, just. That's an understatement. Yeah, you know. I mean, I saw him on the breakfast glove talking, you know, about me and Zeus. And it was, it was a lot.
Starting point is 00:08:48 But did you reach out to him after that? No, I never reached out to him. When that happened, when you guys had interviewed him, but I didn't, I really didn't understand the initial, you know. Like, where did she come from? Yeah, the beef or the issues and, you know, a lot of this stuff were rumors are made up. So I just, you know, what am I going to say? I'm not going to respond, you know, create more, you know. Do you think it was jealousy, you think it was just Ray Jee being Ray J?
Starting point is 00:09:17 Yeah, I think, I think Ray J was trying to tap into the, the, the, the, you know, the, the streaming space, the S-Bod, you know, streaming space. And, you know, he's been wanting to launch his network. And I think, you know, he made it very clear. He was going to come after Zeus. And I think he just went a completely different direction that I wouldn't have imagined him to go in. And, you know, he came after me personally.
Starting point is 00:09:45 And, yeah, it just became a thing. and and uh but yeah i don't i don't know it was it was at first it was it was very disheartening and disappointing but i i you know again i i responded i think to one of his social media post um and then i i kind of left it alone you know but you know he kept going and it just became a thing and then when i saw him i'm like hey what's up man he was just like oh man what's up i'm like was up yeah and my security you know they they they they I don't think in their right mind they would have thought that Ray J and I would get into any type of public you know they knew Ray J so they let him get a little closer than most people yeah of course and uh and we and and then he got
Starting point is 00:10:32 out of the car and he kind of like got in my face and I'm smiling I'm like you're all right he's like no man and I'm like what's going on and then I think my security told him to back up and he got in his my security guard's face and then he kind of swing swung at me and then i'm like hey are you serious and then it just became a i thought y'all both was joking i honestly thought that y'all were promoting something yeah maybe maybe we were because these rollouts be different ray jay rollouts be different you know so i i thought that y'all were actually both yeah like playing around yeah i'm glad y'all got over it i'm glad that you're sitting down and y'all squashing it yeah we're gonna figure it out we're gonna
Starting point is 00:11:11 see what what what what happens i do want to give you props for something I loved it that you stepped in and got behind Magazine Dream. Yeah, thanks. That was a phenomenal, phenomenal film, man. And if Jonathan hadn't gotten his little Hollywood kerfuffle, he didn't want an Oscar for that. I agree. I agree. It was a phenomenal film.
Starting point is 00:11:32 And, you know, Jonathan had reached out to me. And he, they needed additional funding for the film to be released and theatrically and just, you know, in the VOD space. And so I didn't really know too much about the film. And then when I watched it, I was like, oh, we got to get behind this film. And I understood that they kind of, you know, they didn't have a lot of folks supporting him in the film. So we just kind of took that chance and invested quite a bit in the money. I mean, in the film. And we co-distributed the film with Briar Cliff and ultimately, you know, ended up working out.
Starting point is 00:12:14 exclusive distribution rights on Zeus so it's currently on Zeus it did really well theatrically and um you got your all i back yeah yeah for sure definitely definitely definitely you know but more importantly you know I was happy that Jonathan was able to get his film out there I thought his performance was incredible and a lot of a lot of interesting components to the film that I felt dealt with a lot of real-life issues that people go through. Mental health issues. Yeah, absolutely. Man, he killed that movie. Yeah, I think
Starting point is 00:12:49 so. You know, we've kind of branded ourselves to some degree as like the Second Chance Network, so you know, we've given quite a few folks that I feel you know, Hollywood and traditional media has kind of undervalued or has kind of canceled
Starting point is 00:13:05 to some degree. We've given them that opportunity to, you know, tell their stories and I believe generate more income and revenue than any other network or studio that, you know, that they're, that they've currently work with. Should people give you a second chance at rapping or should do?
Starting point is 00:13:24 You know, hey, look, give me a second chance, man. I think you should give me a second chance. Not a second chance story, but I like you doing the partnership with Jason Lee too. Just providing a platform for the impact of words. I think that's fire too. I think you just sleep on what you're doing. Thank you. Yeah, that was a great, you know, shout out to Jason Lee.
Starting point is 00:13:40 I truly appreciate him reaching out and wanting to partner with Zeus to distribute that award that's our first award show and it's you know we're recognizing a lot and honoring a lot of folks in our culture and it's a great
Starting point is 00:13:58 ceremony and you know it's you know I think we've done about three of them now and it's it's only increased in in production value and talent and
Starting point is 00:14:11 you know it's it's an incredible experience so shout out to Jason and this year's Impact Awards was did really well for Zeus and I look forward to continue to work with Jason on that it's a great project so is that something like I know Zeus has a
Starting point is 00:14:27 I don't want to say brand but I guess a certain brand people associate Zeus with so when you do stuff like the magazine dreams and the Hollywood unlocked the awards are you trying to go in I guess more a positive route yeah we're just expanding we're expanding and trying to bring balance and new content to the platform. You know, I know we've been very loud and provocative, you know,
Starting point is 00:14:47 throughout the years with our content. And, you know, I've always felt like it would be important to diversify our content up. And we're doing that. And we're, you know, we finally are doing well enough to really spend some serious money on these projects. And, yeah, I think we're doing it with films. in some of these shows.
Starting point is 00:15:11 So, yeah, the network is doing really well. I think the first time I came here in 2021, I announced that Zeus, we were, I kind of projected and it actually has materialized and manifested into being valued at over a billion dollars at this point. And so, congratulations, thank you, man. Thank you. Thank you so much.
Starting point is 00:15:36 So I was really excited that, you know, the valuation of the company has reached that huge milestone. So, again, that's why we're able to really invest in all these other projects. And, you know, I think we're truly competing at a higher level than most of the linear networks and most of the traditional networks. So it's a pretty interesting and humbling and rewarding experience to see this and to live it and dream it. And, yeah, it's beautiful.
Starting point is 00:16:10 So you're here for Love Cabin? Oh, am I here for Love Cabin? Are you? He's not only here for rap. He is not only here for the song. I promise you, that's what they told us. They did come in here and leave with that, but he also here because he got the new series Love Cabin, right? Yeah, you know, Love Cabin, you know, there once was Temptation Island or still is Temptation Island and Love Island, but we're kind of taking our shot at, you know, producing a series around finding love and.
Starting point is 00:16:40 in this unique format. So, you know, we think we think we'll have similar success with Love Cabin that you've seen with Love Island and some of the other love, love slash dating shows, but it's really exciting. And we're going to be announcing our host and narrator, which I think you guys find really interesting on that show. And, yes, it's a loud, it's a loud show, but different for us. Damn, we're going to be the same bitches that be fighting on there,
Starting point is 00:17:09 trying to find love i don't think i don't know if they're going to be fighting like that but you know some you know like that so it'll be a couple squabbles yeah a couple squabbles maybe maybe not i don't i don't know but we're really excited about love love cabin we're going to be shooting it in um lake tahoe and uh in the woods so uh you know we want somebody fight for real i'm not trying to find love in no damn woods hey i don't know i don't know and what happened with uh clara shill did what did y'all make her offer to be on one of these shows yeah you know we we i think somebody on our team might have reached out to Taseki and
Starting point is 00:17:42 I'm sorry, her name was their name again? Clarissa Shields, yeah. So I think they reached out to her to try to see if we could do an exhibition between her and Taseki, and I don't know, Tisiki need a little bit more time
Starting point is 00:18:00 to train and prep for it, but she'll get knocked up. You think so? I think that would be a good fight. Tisiq is a real life. She'll be a professional. You don't play boxing. I don't.
Starting point is 00:18:11 You play rap. You can't play box. I can't play box. But, yeah, I think that would be... You know, I don't box, but... You know, I don't box, but... Oh, I thought you box. No, no.
Starting point is 00:18:21 I thought you said that earlier when you say you... No, I said I would... You'd box rage. No, I said I'm an athlete at heart. But I would box... If folks wanted to see Ray J and I in the ring, I would be interested, you know? I think that would be cool for the viewers. I think a lot of folks would subscribe.
Starting point is 00:18:39 You have a billion-dollar valuation. Don't start jumping all in front of the camera doing goofy-ass shit now. All of her jumping on rap record. It's like, why? Like, don't start doing that now after you get the billion-dollar valuation. You've been good thus far. That's true. That's true.
Starting point is 00:18:52 So, you know, we have to be very strategic. But I know, back to Clarissa. I think she said that she couldn't do it because they wouldn't sign off that if she that if she hits a chick, they can't sue her. Yeah, but I think in the exhibition world in space, I think there is some flexibility there. so I think the contracts we just have to work out whatever potential liabilities
Starting point is 00:19:12 but I think it would be a very entertaining fight I hear you you say Taseki's not a fighter but he did not say Taseki's not a professional fighter I'm sorry she'll get knocked out until you're going to ring with a real boxer you're getting knocked out I'm telling you I don't care how much you think you can fight on the street
Starting point is 00:19:28 yeah you're getting the ring with a real box and you're going to sleep yeah there's a video of Diamond the Bondi training with yeah yeah Diamond I think she's prepping for the reunion The last reunion she got her tooth knocked out by Tuske And that's crazy No, well, it wasn't
Starting point is 00:19:51 She can't sue us I mean, maybe she could sue To Zeeke Insurance is the Zuse Network That's what I'm saying You know we have You know insurance The insurance is a thing
Starting point is 00:20:03 But yeah These reunions The girls, the ladies are I mean, it's intense, you know, they're going at it pretty, pretty aggressively, but we, we do our best to manage the situations, but in that situation, like, they both asked to square up, so we, we give him a couple, a couple seconds, you know, you know, just to kind of, go ahead, are you sure, and so you wanted to square up with the Siki, and it just happened, but I think she, her and Natalie are kind of beefed. I don't know, what's up with you and Natalie? Because last time we were trying to come. This ain't mine of you, Nick, this is. No, I'm just trying to. You know, I'm trying to understand, because I asked Natalie what was going on. She had no idea. She said she's cool.
Starting point is 00:20:44 Like, I don't know what the issue is between you and that. No. I didn't like how Natalie, I was hosting, this was two years ago. I didn't even have this job yet, right? She came up here. I don't even know what she was promoting, but she came up here. And she said that I chose to not show up because she was on the schedule. Bitch, I ain't ain't working in.
Starting point is 00:21:03 You know what I mean? So the fact that she said that I said, and then she said, and then she said, went she had like a host in that night it was like like me about nine or ten people and wherever she was there and she was like screaming and shouting it on the mic like that bitch jessler like you know she that bitch jessler ain't even show up the work because i came up there she was scared and i don't i don't like all that clown and i don't do that you know what i mean i didn't have the job yet and then i don't think they would even schedule us on the same day when i was gas co-hosting you know so i'm like nah she don't deserve to sit with me
Starting point is 00:21:37 when you had an interview before and i would love to bring i would love for you to make a cameo on baddies i'm presenting the offer now if you're open to i love for her to make a cameo and we got we got a real we got a real bag for you you know you y'all had a real look you all listen no i would love for her and nat to work out and y'all had a real bag for me it doesn't have to be you guys fighting it could just be you guys talking about you know you're gonna touch me so that's the thing but i i know y'all got the real bags because you you you you you you You blessed me with a great bag when I did the show, Justin's Cabaret reunion.
Starting point is 00:22:12 So I already know you ain't playing about the money. It ain't about the money. It's just, like I said, morally, you don't play with me. You don't do no clown shit. You know, and then this shit, at Tycoon at the weekend. Remember, we in Houston, she got mad because you, you was like, yo, let's take a picture. You offered me a shot.
Starting point is 00:22:27 And she was trying to get about the shed. She couldn't get about the shed quick enough. You know, it was the thing. Scotty walked through my section. I was like, no, go around. Don't walk through my shit. And it was all of that. It was all of that.
Starting point is 00:22:37 It was, it was a lot. I mean, how much we told me? That was my next question. That was my next question. I don't know. What you tell me? Oh, look. If he's throwing numbers, go on, Jesse.
Starting point is 00:22:49 You tell me, I'll be your question. Whatever the number is. You tell me, I'll make it work. But what are you looking for? For what? For me to sit down and discuss whatever altercation. I mean, whatever issues you have. I think that was the two things.
Starting point is 00:23:01 I don't know how she, you know. I she ain't know, but that was that was that. That's why I said, no, she don't deserve it. come up my job and sit and talk to me on the mic had the line about it you know what I mean I ain't like that so well I think it will be a good look and I think the fans will love to see it you're a messing nigga I know I think it'd be great I'd be great we figure it out we'd talk about it off air say let's yeah listen what I was gonna say speaking of Jesus mess oh gosh so baddie's Africa y'all were getting a lot of criticism because people felt like there
Starting point is 00:23:33 weren't any African girls cast it no we cast it a few uh I think she was, one, one of our cast members was from South Africa and then I think the other one was from Nigeria. I think people felt like there should have been more. They were saying you bought them from America to Africa? No, no, no, no. No, we had an open, well, you know, we, casting the shows are always the thing with with baddies. So, you know, we open it up for online submissions and auditions and we try to cast at least a few, a few folks and bring some reoccurring cast members back um so you know i felt like it was i felt like it was a
Starting point is 00:24:13 pretty good look but um yeah we definitely cast we we definitely casted some some folks from africa on the show and i think they they did their big one um i don't know i don't know where that rumor came from that's false and what about zeus network and krechaan where y'all at now because it was good she was supposed to have the show with her son yeah um you know krasan is uh i love Krishan she's great she's she's got a lot going on and sometimes it's hard to get her to focus on you know specific things but um she she's a hard worker she loves to stay busy and uh you know I think we we the relationship is solid with Krishan and you know she she was on Paddy's she had her own show with her in blueface and so um you know it's just really finding that right
Starting point is 00:25:02 project or you know I want to see her back on baddies I think she'd be great, you know, to come back and if she were to come back and participate. So, yeah, solid. I want to see her make up with her sister. Like, if y'all could facilitate that, you know. I really, I'm all for them making up, man, because, like, that got real crazy.
Starting point is 00:25:25 It got real messy. And was it ever a part of you that was like, uh, maybe it was the wrong move bringing to Sikki or maybe it was the wrong move? Like, how did you feel when you've seen them, out as sisters uh it was it was it was it was it was pretty um it was it was a bit disheartening like you know to see both sisters kind of at odds you know what I mean they they were very close but I don't I don't really you know we were we were kind of discovering and learning things in
Starting point is 00:25:55 real time and so uh you know hearing about that on the show it was kind of like whoa wow you know And so if, you know, if they had gone through some things in the past prior to us shooting, and so it kind of seemed like a lot of things were, you know, happening. Yeah, and unraveling, yeah. You know, so we were just capturing those moments. And, yeah, it just, it is what it is. But, you know, I think they're developing a better relationship right now. I don't know exactly where they are.
Starting point is 00:26:27 But, you know, I know it's always been a little up and down with them. But it seems like they're in a good. place right now I think you know they they posted that they were going to be doing some bookings together oh and I think they had some face-time call on on social media so I'm gonna get paid $5,500 say it again what I have no idea what they get paid I you know that that's not a part of that's a push-a-tie-line yeah oh yeah no oh yeah no I don't see I'm not right so yeah I got you juice network niggas you hear me loud and clear oh these 5500 a hundred a
Starting point is 00:27:01 hundred a house to And hoaxed him. He's out of head. Yeah, no. Did you take that as a disc? You know, it's so many... Has he fixes the songs? Right?
Starting point is 00:27:15 So many little, you know, lines and bars out there referencing Zeus or baddies or Jocelyn and all these shows, I can't keep up. That's my girl now. No, not at all. Thank you. I appreciate it. Thanks, man. You watch all the shows on your network?
Starting point is 00:27:30 I can't watch every. episode of every show but I do try to watch as many you know episodes that we release definitely the premiere episodes you know the earlier ones but you know we have a whole control now yeah I mean we have a whole team you know we're we're we're pumping out shows and content you know at a at a rapid pace it's very accelerated you know and I think that's why we're kind of out performing a lot of traditional networks turnaround time for our release on these episodes and shows are pretty fast very fast you know about you and easy you and yay doing something yeah you're posting that photo one time yeah we talked about some some projects he had reached out and wanted to do uh originally we talked about doing um uh sunday sunday service on zeus um and then we had some some other discussions about things that he wanted to do and uh you know we're we're exploring that stuff so you know it's still in conversations
Starting point is 00:28:38 said again yes definitely definitely you know um he he's you know he's he's an icon he's you know extremely extremely smart and uh you know he understands this space and so uh you know we're we're trying to figure out what makes sense as far as a zeus collaboration between you know his company and in Zeus, but... Put him on baddies. He got to do you? I'm a sclip year. I can't participate in this part.
Starting point is 00:29:11 No. No, he is crazy. Has there ever been a show that... Well, is there a show that you won't greenlit? Something that you won't do. Something that you'd be like, nah, this is a little too left. I ain't, you know, we already got the girls fighting and all of that. But have you...
Starting point is 00:29:27 Is it something that you won't do? Yeah, you know, we... Yeah, I mean... I mean, no, it's not let me. They say no. No, I think, I think we try not to get involved in politics, so that's not really our thing, you know. But, you know, we, it is important to, you know, have a voice in that space, but we try to stay away from those type of things. And I know this guy doesn't, you know, he's pretty loud in that area.
Starting point is 00:29:59 but we yeah we we we we we're not really picking up a lot of content in that in that space but you know we there we've we've been experimenting with a lot of different formats and shows some things just don't work for zeus because you know you're asking people to pay to watch your content and so you know sometimes it just it has to really really move the needle and And it has to be loud enough for them to stop and say, okay, I got to watch this. Starting point is 00:31:41 The holiday rush. Parents hauling luggage, kids gripping their new Christmas toys. Then, at 6.33 p.m., everything changed. There's been a bombing at the TWA terminal. Apparently, the explosion actually impelled metal glass. The injured were being loaded into ambulances, just a chaotic, chaotic scene. In its wake, a new kind of enemy emerged, and it was here to stay. Terrorism.

Hey, sis, what if I could promise you you never had to listen to a condescending finance bro? Tell you how to manage your money again. Welcome to Brown Ambition. This is the hard part when you pay down those credit cards. If you haven't gotten to the bottom of why you were racking up credit or turning to credit cards, you may just recreate the same problem a year from now.
Starting point is 00:33:57 When you do feel like you are bleeding from these high interest rates, I would start shopping for a debt consolidation loan, starting with your local credit union, shopping around online, looking for some online lenders because they tend to have fewer fees and be more affordable. Listen, I am not here to judge. It is so expensive in these streets. I 100% can see how in just a few months you can have this much credit card debt when it weighs on you. It's really easy to just like stick your head in the sand. It's nice and dark in the sand.
Starting point is 00:34:26 Even if it's scary, it's not going to go away just because you're avoiding it. And in fact, it may get even worse. For more judgment-free money advice, listen to Brown Ambition on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. I think the industry is changing significantly. And you're seeing changes happening every day with how people are consuming content in different ways of how they're, you know, subscribing or not, you know, when it comes to things that they want to watch. I truly am happy for your success because regardless of what the content is, whether, you know, people agree with it or not, it's still hard to do what you have done.
Starting point is 00:35:07 To build a network from the ground up, the way that you have, and now have it at a billion dollar evaluation, that's impressive. Thank you, okay. But do you ever feel like, you know, with the type of content that you have, I have to do so much more for the black community. Absolutely. Absolutely. And thank you.
Starting point is 00:35:25 I appreciate that. You know, yeah, we, we are trying, you know, it's hard because, you know,
Starting point is 00:35:32 it's just finding those right, right shows. You know, we only have so much bandwidth. We're, you know, we're able to create high quality premium content. So,
Starting point is 00:35:41 you know, we don't want to just put anything out there. But not even just with shows like philanthropy. Yeah. Yeah, we definitely, you know, are, you know, donating to many charities. We're a part of different, you know, philanthropic organizations that, you know, we, you know, give to these different, you know, charities and foundations. Yeah, we'll give you a list. Yeah, please, I'm not, I'm not, no, please.
Starting point is 00:36:18 Geez, you know, we definitely want to support. We definitely want to continue to give and donate, and that's a big part of Zeus. I mean, we may not show it as much as we, you know, promote other things, but we're definitely giving. We're sponsoring a lot of things. We're donating. We do it all year round, not just one specific time, but all year. And, I mean, millions. So, you know, it's really important for us to do that.
Starting point is 00:36:44 Please tell me. Look, are you really with Scotty? You know, I'm going to ask, look, I get the all of the tea from my little sister. She is a Zeus fan, fan, fan. We, you know, we watch, of course, you know, I watch Charleston's Cabaret, but she watched all the shows, right? And she's like, he coming to bed, ask him, is he really with my girl? Because, you know, my sister loves Scotty. You really were?
Starting point is 00:37:04 You know. You know. You really were. No, I would say, I appreciate you ask me that question. Scotty is absolutely amazing. and I are definitely dating and we're figuring out we're developing our relationship
Starting point is 00:37:28 he got a show with his that's not on TV right no no no no no no no no I said Scotty is one of the baddies though yeah she is one yeah she is one of the baddies so so no but real talk she's she's great and we're developing our relationship
Starting point is 00:37:47 and we're seeing where it takes us. That's something like an HR problem right there. No, no, no, she's great. But she's great, she's great. And, um... He's the hell, hey, y'all. What the fucking is. No, she's amazing.
Starting point is 00:38:01 Um, and, you know, I know, I know folks, and I want to be careful because there's a lot of things I haven't addressed about my personal life, because I do like to keep it private. Yeah. Um, but I do want to say, How, let me be putting videos and shit out there, girl twerking. Well, that's, you know, that's, you know, that's, that's, that's marketing. We're a loud, provocative platform.
Starting point is 00:38:26 You know, we, we generate a lot of views that helps with our subscribers. You're the CEO, brother. And that's okay, you know, it's okay, you know. I ain't saying nothing wrong with it, but I'm saying when I see a video of you and you're sweet. Yeah. Throwing a bread and Scotty, you know, twirking. Listen, Scotty is sexy. She's sexy.
Starting point is 00:38:48 Very much so. And, you know, sometimes folks like to see her doing her thing, you know, and she's fun. She likes to have a lot of fun. She likes to, you know, she's a sweetheart. She likes to have fun. She's great. But I do want to say... Could you be with one woman?
Starting point is 00:39:05 You know, I've said I'm, you know, I'm at this place where I'm still... Oh, shut the fuck up. I know. I know. I'm being honest. I am I am I am I am and I've said it before I am finding me I'm finding me and I think that's important I do I don't minding me and I never heard that one I'm finding me and I think and I'm finding me and I think yeah because I don't do
Starting point is 00:39:38 into everything baddy but I remember when it was the son of girl claims and then the whole thing you were in a relationship Her name is Janisha. And she was one of the producers on the show. So Janisha, oh, go ahead. I'm just trying, okay. So Janisha, Janisha and I, we were in a relationship for seven years.
Starting point is 00:39:57 We were in a very traditional girlfriend, boyfriend, relationship for seven years. Janisha is absolutely beautiful inside and out. And I love her. She's great. We're friends. And, you know, she's doing her thing. I think she's dating.
Starting point is 00:40:13 I don't know. But she still works for you. still works for Zeus. She's hosting. She's working behind the scene. She's not only like, you know, a host, but she produces. She's handling and overseeing our social media department. So she's doing incredible things. I love her family. We're great. You know, seven years. And so I think, you know, for me, it was just a situation where we were just at an impasse. and, you know, and I know there's a lot of rumors out there. They think it could be a politician.
Starting point is 00:40:46 No, there's a... It's a politician. No, there's a... She's pretty. She's pretty. So I will say, you know, Janisha is great. And again, we have a great friendship, a great relationship, and she's doing her thing.
Starting point is 00:41:02 And I'm proud of her. But I do see a lot of rumors out there that about Scotty and Janisha, you know again I will just say he's oh he's still looking at you can talk to me the issue is that people have conversations about there being overlap and that's why I was confused because I was like I thought you came out and said you weren't dealing with any of the baddies and then we were still trying to figure out of you were with Janisha and to be no listen here's the thing let me let me say this let me say this first of all first of all can I can I just say this Janisha
Starting point is 00:41:37 is absolutely beautiful Scotty is absolutely beautiful they're both beautiful women they're both beautiful women and you know uh I hate to see people coming at at either one of them you know it's not fair it's not okay because if anything is it is on me you know what I mean it's on me you know I make every decision is it is it pertains to my personal life and you know and and you know sometimes you people don't always agree and on on where you are in life and so for me when I was saying I was I was finding myself I'm not really saying that as an excuse
Starting point is 00:42:11 to do whatever to do just whatever it was really you know like I honestly at that time you know again seven years with Janisha we had our ups and downs but you know just like any relationship and it was a situation
Starting point is 00:42:27 where you know I was finding myself when it came to my spirituality when it came to you know relationships and really what that meant because it was like you know monogamy is one thing, polyamory, polygamy, you know, all these thoughts are coming to your brain. I don't, you know, I've never been married. I've never been engaged. I've never, no, Janisha and I have never, and that's not to downplay our relationship. We just, you know, we were very much in love.
Starting point is 00:42:54 And, you know, we still love each other and have love for each other. But we're just not together anymore. And I am dating, you know, Scotty. But like I said, it is a situation where, you know, I was finding me and my like I said spiritually just emotionally mentally and when you don't always agree you do get to a place where you're at an impasse and you can agree to disagree respectfully and you got to deal with the hard truth in reality
Starting point is 00:43:23 and so I think having those discussions with Janisha privately I think we even though it was hurtful and I know you know disappointing probably for her, you know, I still had to live my life and, you know, do what I felt I wanted to do. And so that was it. And it was nothing more, nothing less, but I think they're both beautiful queens. I think they are amazing, you know, I have nothing but love for Scotty.
Starting point is 00:43:54 I have nothing but love for Janisha. I love both of them. They're great people. But I just hate to see people tearing them apart and commenting and all these rumors. and all this stuff, it's just, it's just, it's just, again, for me, look, I, I, I, I, life is short and, like I said, I've never been married, never been engaged, never had children, and I've just been kind of, you know, I had a place where I'm just like, all right, what, what am I doing, you know, that's a great question. I, I, I don't, I don't know yet, I don't
Starting point is 00:44:26 know. How old are you? Please, how do I look? No, I'm just kidding. You look young. I'm not even joking, late 20s. Thank you, man. I look like a kid almost yeah I'm in my 30s but I just I feel like like I said I'm just I'm just trying to figure it out man I you know life life the women asking you no I know they're just trying to find the right words can you can I can I can I be I am being I am being careful because it is sensitive right but I will say I don't know I don't you know we're we're in a new a new error You know, 20-25, and, you know, I have my theories, my thoughts about life. I don't, you know, when I think about marriage, you know, it does scare me. My parents were married for over 30 years, and it was very hard to see them get a divorce, and that kind of impacted my life, you know, tremendously. I love both of my parents.
Starting point is 00:45:23 My dad is my hero. My mom is my heart. And so for me to see them, you know, separate and divorce and, you know, all of our siblings we were very close it was it was very hard and it was very discouraging and so for me um it was a situation where you know i just did after that it was kind of like you know what like i don't want to be a cheater in a in a marriage i don't want to be labeled that you know what and so it's kind of like you know i i i just want to get it all out you know it's not even getting it all out i just think it's very hard for men to be you know
Starting point is 00:46:04 these in a monogamous you know what I mean I do I think if you had to be real like what is it just gets to a point where it's like what is cheating is it just physical is it mental and physical is it emotional and so I just you know thinking about these different things I just it's just hard for me to try to you know it's not when you find you person yeah I'll say that when you find your one when you find your person it's not as hard as you think so you're married right yes sir and you've been married for I've been married for 10, yeah, 12 years now. Were you married prior or this?
Starting point is 00:46:38 No, it's my first marriage. But I mean, to your point, I was, I mean, I definitely wasn't, you know, always faithful. But, you know, when I did make that commitment to my wife and say, hey, this is what I want to do for my wife and my family and myself and be a faithful man, it's not hard. It's not how when you find your person. No. Yeah. And I appreciate that, you know, that, that, you know, feedback and just also, you know, know, you're, you know, hearing that from you as a man, you know, it's hard for men to, I don't know,
Starting point is 00:47:09 it's, it's, it's, I don't want to say to be loyal or to just be with one woman, but I don't know, I just, I hate the idea of hurting someone to that degree. If I'm in, I'm making an oath under God and yeah, you know, my family and her family is just, it just, it just feels like, you know, I don't I want to say a lot of pressure, but I just, I don't know, I, I, you're not ready for it. Yeah. Yeah, I just, like I said, I'm finding me, man. And like I said, are you being honest like this with these women? Oh, yeah, 100%.
Starting point is 00:47:38 You know, I've, I've been honest with everybody. I mean, they may not like it. They may not want to hear it, but I think they appreciate the honesty of it all. And if you stepped out, would you be cool with it? No, not at all. I mean, that I just. I love that honesty. Ain't stuff right.
Starting point is 00:47:54 No, not at all. I wouldn't support that because, you know, I, I, I think that... You spend too much money on them. I wouldn't say, I wouldn't say I spend too much money. I just think that, yeah, I feel like for me, where I'm at, yeah, I do want to make sure I'm supporting the person that I'm dating and that I'm with, and I don't think is always reciprocated of what they could do for me and what I can do for them, and that's okay.
Starting point is 00:48:24 You know, I think I do go above and beyond, you know, the scope of maybe what's required in the traditional relationship. Big tricking. That's what that means. No, no, I am not a trick. I am not a tricking that she's working. Yeah, no, I'm not, I'm not tricking. I'm not a trick, I'm not a pimp.
Starting point is 00:48:44 I'm not any of those things. I've never been those things. You're not running no money on somebody that you're dealing with, though. Yeah, I think, I think. But he plan to have a cast, though. I mean, say he can't be with one woman. Not a cash.
Starting point is 00:48:57 Well, look, this is my, my, my, my, last question about that did you and Natalie sleep together oh my god I saw it on I saw it something you all had like a little feud or whatever I don't know if it was for you all sampling the product oh my gosh first and foremost there's no universe where I would ever cross those lines with with Natalie Jocelyn or any of any of those you know females like not like that but I'm just saying they're beautiful women you know they're married you know and I respect their husbands very much they respect me and I just it's never happened not even a slight you know anything it's just never happened but I would never cross those
Starting point is 00:49:41 boundaries in those lines in that regard so you know but but no Natalie's great you know and she's but no we've never slept together that's you know some of the former former cast members of baddies or they'd be they be having it out for you I guess once they get put off the show or they can't come back they start making up stuff or they start saying things that they heard and all of that yeah I saw that about that yeah it is is I don't I don't get it you know it's like you know this cronled a lot you don't bail some bitches out of jail you didn't do some things yeah you know for me I've I recognize that the folks that we we're working with are are um not probably the
Starting point is 00:50:28 folks that most traditional networks would be dealing with and so you know they're very outspoken a lot of times they do lie or spread rumors about me when they they don't have the opportunity to be on the network or we don't cast them in I don't get it I don't I don't know why they do that I don't know why they make up these lies or lemmy sleeping with all these people or he's doing this and he's doing that you know I just may be upset they said you You got your favorites and stuff. No, I feel like, you know, I feel like we've been a tremendous blessing to a lot of people, a lot of women, you know, that would have never gotten these opportunities.
Starting point is 00:51:09 I mean, when I see it, it's crazy. It's like we've casted these girls on these shows. It's hundreds of people at this point. You know, they've made tremendous amounts of money from Zeus and income and they've done well. And to see them, you know, getting and receiving, you know, brand. deals or bookings and making money in other ways their following has increased. I mean, you know, that's amazing. And we've been a blessing to all these folks.
Starting point is 00:51:38 So, you know, I don't understand why they do certain things. Some of them, you know, some of them are really cool. But, you know, some of them just cloutchase the gaslight. They troll. It's just a part of the cost of doing business, I guess, to some degree. And so I just, you know, I can't respond to every rumor, everything that's out there. you know, it's not worth it. And it's a situation where, you know, me responding will give it more life.
Starting point is 00:52:07 Yeah. So I just, I choose to kind of, I'll respond when I really am, like, annoyed by something, like really, really annoyed. And it's just so ridiculous or egregious. But typically I just, I try not to respond to, you know, those type of. It's only going to get worse. You got a billion dollar valuation. The more you grow, the more jewelry they see, the more you they see.
Starting point is 00:52:27 the more they see you putting out, most of the other, it's only going to get worse. You think so? Absolutely. Yeah, that's, that's a scary, it's scary. It's a scary, scary thought. I hope not, you know.
Starting point is 00:52:42 Yeah, I hope, I hope it gets better and that worse. Yeah, well, don't rap. Yeah, don't rap, man. I won't rap, man. Nah, it's catchy, man, and it's marketing. He markets, I bet you. I bet you. amount of money is going to be the new theme song for baddies ain't it well it
Starting point is 00:53:01 actually already is the theme song for bad that's what it was it ain't about no album it ain't for no yeah no I'm not trying to rock like that man I'm not I'm not I'm not a rapper but it's like evil Sean Stockman no from boy oh my god no my god yo that is hilarious that is hilarious I've heard I've heard that before I've heard I've heard I've heard Sean Stockman huh no not the evil and I'm sorry right uh Sean Stocking I heard Uh, Givion. Oh, definitely. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:53:30 I never seen a little brother. He looked like he could be giving a little girl. A little bit of Damson. Y'all can be related. Damn. Nobody had to tell you that. I'm sorry. I'm telling you.
Starting point is 00:53:40 They're going to get the girls. They're going to get her baby. He told you you like dancing. I swear. Hold on. Are you going to see who there? Who days that I look like? Are you going to get text?
Starting point is 00:53:51 No. No, I'm going to my Instagram. I posted it. I posted it. No. Nobody ever said you. They said I look like Dembson. You look like Damson Shawlame and look like Morris Chester.
Starting point is 00:54:00 Exactly. You look like. This is what I posted. They said I look like giving you. Yeah, that's good. Yeah, you look like give me. No way. They said Christian.
Starting point is 00:54:09 Christian. Not even in the multi-verson. You do not look like the damn don't shit. I said, Michael. I need to be a suspect. I don't know. They give that. That's stuff.
Starting point is 00:54:19 Yeah, so those are the folks. Summer. Is she come, is she done baddies? You find her what's happening? And follow on the imitill Emmett Till comment. Yeah, we were, you know, that was, you know, the Emmett Till comment, that was, that was very, very unfortunate. And, you know, we, we definitely put out a statement and we were, we were dealing with it. I mean, we, we didn't really do anything during production, because I don't
Starting point is 00:54:49 think we really heard it. You know, I wasn't there, so I didn't really hear it. By the time, the show in episodes aired, the production was over. It wasn't like we could have fired her or let her go for that comment. But we definitely dealt with it. We encouraged her to address it head on. And, you know, I think she's been dealing with it. I know she's felt the impact from it. We felt it.
Starting point is 00:55:13 And we listened to our customers and our consumers. And, you know, it was just a very unfortunate situation. And, you know, we made sure to, you know, educate our cast members on ways to, you know, learn more about African, American history and just everything we've gone through. Because sometimes, you know, these young girls and, you know, they don't understand what we've been through, you know, civil rights and slavery and just all sorts of things that we've gone through as a people.
Starting point is 00:55:48 So it is important that they get educated on the history of African American, you know, a culture and the things that we've gone through some you say you felt it what did that mean when you say that because I'm sure y'all get backlash all the time for everything because you can't why you said you felt this one you know it is scary
Starting point is 00:56:07 you know it's scary when you when you you know you see the fans publicly you know you know not only concerned but just you know disappointed and so you know we as a network
