Like right now, I'm the celebrity who they team up on right now. You know what I'm saying? Who they make these fake narratives and these rumors are all this bullshit about. When I discovered my own beauty and discover how I wanted to pop it, that's when I went up.

Because I went from no lashes, no makeup, t-shirt and jeans, penny shoes, to now I'm coming with the, hair, the makeup, the clothes, the heels. I'm not changing myself for people who don't like me and who I don't like. When it's my fight week, you might go call me Beyonce. I'm stepping every time. Like, Beyonce in these bids, bow down. We got Papoose in the cut, salute the pal. How you feeling? I feel good. I'm really excited. Today was the meet and greet with all the Atlanta fans. And boy, did they show up today. I was surprised. You know what?

I don't know why I was surprised because it was like they've been hitting me up all week. Like we come in. And you all be like, well, you hear your people say that they come in. You be like, yeah, I. But now, it was water wall to be. at the end of day. And I would just, it just got me excited for the 15th because if they watered wall for a meet and greet, I just know that Atlanta State Farm Arena about to be just crazy. For sure. I'm looking forward to it. Your record, your undefeated record, do you ever feel

like that you are represented in the boxing field in the proper way with all the work you've put in? Absolutely. Boxing holds me at the highest regard. I mean, From the best boxers in the world, from Terrence Crawford, Mike Tyson, Chaucor Stevenson, Andre Ward, all of them give me my praises, all the networks, ESPN, fighter at a year, ring magazine, fighter at a year. I mean, sportswoman out of year, all these different times, an SP, boxing hold me at the highest regard. And I'm happy and proud of that because I work really hard. 100%. You want Olympic gold at 17. You've been undisputed in three divisions.

You got the movie. You got love. You got love with Papoos. What are you still fighting for at this point? Right now I just want to rack up as many wins and conquer and have as much legacy as I can. And then retire. That's it. Like right now I box because I make a lot of money boxing and boxing.

it's just what I love to do. Like, it's not like, I feel like boxing is a hobby. I think that when you do what you love, it's like you make money anyway. So boxing has always been like a hobby for me. Like I would do it for free. Right. I would do it for free. They were like, hey, you know, back in the Ameriress,

I didn't make a dollar off box until I was 17 at the Olympics. Before the end, I didn't make no money. So from the time of age of 11 to 17, I didn't make a dime. but those were my toughest years. Right. For sure, I bet. I'm trying to get in this game. As a female boxer,

because I don't feel like, I feel like your opponent is against the value because I know how great you are. I know how much you've done. And I know the boxing people celebrate you, but I still think that women have a hard time in boxing just from a publicity standpoint. Not for you,

you're anomaly. And I'm speaking more so about people under you and behind you. How you leave the game is important. as well yeah well you know I came into the game when I was 21 two Olympic gold medals and the most thing that I wanted to do that hadn't been done was fight on TV I was like I just want to fight on TV and it was no lane for that and I thought yeah I'll get the chance to fight on TV but it'd be toward the end of my career I didn't know I would come out the gate and they

would automatically start putting me on TV that was the big shocker with showtime for me um after that things started to change in women's boxing but i think the reason why i'm wanting to stand out woman fighters is because i put myself out there i'm open with my fans i have a brand i know what i stand for and it's some stuff that i just don't stand for i don't uh like i don't agree with and i'm okay with vocalizing that right and then also i'm okay with being who i am myself I think that draws people to me. That, like, that makes me the people's champ. Anybody that has met me in person loves Clarissa Shields.

I've never been disliked by somebody who's actually met me. Right. Now, your brand power is extremely impressive, and it's important for a boxer. And I think when I'm speaking, you, we're speaking to an anomaly. I'm speaking to Clarissa, so it feels funny than I'm saying, female boxers don't get to just do when I'm speaking to you, and you get more than what I would say. is, you know, a light for a boxer,

but I think female boxes as a whole should appreciate what you've done in this sport, man, because you carried it on your back for some time now and try to lift it up. I think it's appreciated, but you're going to have your haters. It's people who didn't appreciate Jordan. It's those who don't appreciate LeBron and Kobe. So it's like you have your haters,

but all the girls in women's boxing know that I started this. Like, I came out the gate, even when you talk about like the way ends I'm the one that came out with the fur and the nice... Put in the nice... Yeah, came out with the fur, the hair, the makeup.

I'm the first one to do that. Even though we had girls that came before me that likes to play this whole they're pretty and they're sexy. It was like, I know how to sell the... You know how they said like you want to sell sex a little bit you want to sell, but I know how to sell it to where it's not a bad thing.

Yes. Where it makes sense. So it was like, I'm not going to wear that type of outfit. to the way in to the media workout or to the press conference. But for the way in, we got to strip down dang near naked anyway. So you might as well come with the fur, the hair, the bikini, the swimsuit, and show off your games from camp and make you look good because at the end of the day,

you are a woman, woman boxer, right, boxer comes second. So with that, I've found a way to make my whole fight week, my fashion week. That's how about. From Monday to. Fight day, I'm coming. I got a bunch of different wigs. I got my makeup artist. I got my outfits.

I got my rivals. Man, I show up and show them this is the beauty of being a woman boxing. And then you get the beast on fight night. Is it frowned upon to be sexy in boxing? Are they expecting you to be the Clarissa that you may have showed at first with the braids? And I'm never even going, you know, morph into the woman y'all may see outside of the ring. I'm just going to be like the boxer 100%. Is that frowned upon that you want to come out in the mink

and you want to come out and kind of pop it? How is that received from the boxing community? That made my brand skyrocket up. When I discovered my own beauty and discover how I wanted to pop it, that's when I went up because I was the only girl doing it. Now you have other girls who got the memo. They get it now. Right.

But when it was just me, it wasn't found upon. It was just shocking. They were like, wait a minute. Because I went from no lashes, no makeup, t-shirt and jeans, t-shoes, to now I'm coming with the hair, the makeup, the clothes, the heels. And I really did it without even giving anybody a heads up. I think it was 20-23.

And I was like, Fight Week, this is what I want to do. And I tried it. And we got great results. We got more followers. We got higher views. We got more viewership. And I was able to negotiate me an $8 million deal online. Beautiful thing.

Congratulations as well about that. Thank you. I do want to talk to you about that, though, looks, because I do see sometimes where they try to play on your top. You're a very beautiful woman. Thank you. But they try to play on your top a little bit on social media. How do you navigate through that?

You just got laughing people because when you're a woman, you know, me, I grew up. I was in a gym with all boys and nobody cared about hair and your clothes and nothing. All I cared about was being the fastest and the strongest and the most skilled at the gym. So now I just turn into your teenage years and your young

adult years and you start looking in the mirror at yourself. I've never looked in the mirror and was like, God dang, you ugly. And I've never been called that either. You know, after, I think everybody has been called ugly in elementary. But when they got to middle school in high school, I was having to fight the boys to keep them off me.

Coach was telling guys, you can't come to the gym and train down here. Guys were signing up for boxing at Burson and Fieldhouse to try and date me. And coach was like, y'all can't come down here. She focused on the base. Get out of here. Rest, quit talking to them. Like, my coach was very, very strict. Guys would come down to the gym just to try to holler at me.

So now, when I'm in this world now where I hear some of these girls want to throw an ugly word around, first of all, It don't matter how I look to you. I know I'm bad. And my man know I'm bad too. And that's all that count. Like one, I've never, first of all, I probably was 14 when I realized that I had a butt. That's a scary shit in the world.

That's always something for girls. That's always a thing. Listen, I was walking from the grocery store and a man rode by in the trunk and he truck and he honked at me. Oh, now, that ain't cool. I looked at him and I said, what the fuck wrong with this nigga? You know what I'm saying? He just was like, he got a nice ass and I took off running. I ran so fast.

I said, oh, he's tweaking. But I didn't know that I was even forming a shape. I've always been skinny my entire life. So now I got like a little butt. And I just remember like being uncomfortable with people looking at my body. So me not knowing or realizing that, but I always were like a big, like a big, like a big t-shirt and big jeans big like big shorts i never wore stuff that was tight and so as i got older you know 21 and 25 it was like okay now i'm can relax a little bit but growing up i was like

i don't want to be i don't even want to be i don't even want to be sexy or i didn't want them to look at me like oh look at what she got i wanted people to just like watch me box don't don't look at everything else that was always my thing I never wanted to be like, you know, but I know that I accept how I look and I think I look damn good. Right, for sure. The larger conversation, and I agree with that, but the larger conversation is I've never really seen online do that to a white woman. I've never seen that. I've never seen.

They don't even throw that term around. And me, as you were talking, I'm just thinking about, have I ever seen anybody? in particular the white community throw ugly on another white I have never seen that First of all, we talk about we talk about people that call Serena Williams ugly back in the day

and knowing that Serena Williams is dropped dead gorgeous so is Venus so I come right along the line of those women and I've always been called like a little Serena or like they would say like oh are you Serena's sister coming up

so it's like when you are dominant and you're confident and you are yourself, they would try to tear that down. Do you see that, though? Do you see what I see? Do you see that? Hey, I don't have to looked at it like that,

but do you see that they, do they say that to white women? Do you know that? I will say, I don't, I don't think it's a thing about white or black. Or black, I think it's a thing of, they all pick and choose who they want to team up on. And it's always like, like right now,

I'm the celebrity who they team up on right now. You know what I'm saying? Who they make these fake narratives and these rumors are all this bullshit about. But at one point in the time, it was Andrew Reese. Right. And that's what I, that's like a kid in the Angel Reese. She's another one that kind of goes through some of that like pulling from the media.

Then I'm saying, this is unusual coverage. Like something's off. Look at what she's doing, though. It's like the more success, the more confident, the more dominant. Right.

The more you continue to grow. They want to throw you off. So like I said, I don't know who they hate more of me or Angel Reese. I just know. I feel like we both go through the same type of backlash, but have you ever, have I ever seen it with a white woman?

I don't even think about that because I think about, have I ever seen it with another woman? And when I think about it, I just see Serena, I see Angel, I see myself. That's it. But those are along a line of, those are great. That's great men. It's too, right, right.

So if you're not great, like nobody cares. Like, how many, I mean, there's been a lot of great white women who done sports, but I don't think it was to the point that they were going to be like, oh, this person has, you know, got millions of fans and making millions of dollars and getting these big endorsement deals. It's like, it's on a different level when it comes to me, Angel and Serena. Right. And also it's not your job really to peep that.

It's our job as the men to notice that anyway, right? It's our job as the black men say, hold up. Every time this type of thing pops up, it's against one of eyes. Like what is what is going on with that is that internal is that manufacture and so that's us that need to do some investigation is it self-hatred what is it's driving some of that. No, it's self-hatred and it's jealousy that's it. I know jealousy is definitely yeah people are are jealous of what they you ever saw somebody you'd be like you'd be kind of mad like why this person so happy for you'd be like I'm not happy and they'd be like but why you mad because they are happy You should be trying to either you're going to figure out why you're not happy and become happy or you're going to hate this person because they're happy and then not like them for no reason It's more of a self-evaluation type thing and we live in the world now where

Nobody is evaluating themselves everybody want to be perfect everybody rich on internet everybody got money everybody scamming Everybody got their shit together just to prove it to the next person Nine times out of ten people really don't have their stuff together like financially yes They don't have cars. Like you got girls who got working bags, but working at McDonald's. Like, it's so backwards out here. Right. It's image.

You know, everything is image. I think because of social media, it is forced, not forced. It is a sector of our culture. Everybody's acting down there. Everybody is an act at this point. So when you're being real, they're like, how come you ain't acting too? Yeah. How come you still wearing your two ponytails with your hair out?

Right. How can you still putting the. putting the queen latifah brazen your hair like why you somebody asks me why i don't wear a wig to the ring are you kidding are you kidding me you think i you think i care to want to have a nice hairstyle for the ring man you let these products leak into your eye while you're fighting you you would think a girl whooped your ass i think it's more impressive for you to go to like this to at six with it's time to fight you got it's a whole different thing i think that's more impressive than trying to go out there super impressive but everybody

everybody like, oh, everything is about looks. We want to look good for this person and that person. I just tell myself, I'm not changing myself for people who don't like me and who I don't like. I'm not changing myself for that. And also it's like they don't understand. This is the work. This is the part of my life.

This is my work. And that's what you're going to get. Sometimes you got to take the jury off. Sometimes you got to take the cute clothes off and get to work. So you're watching the goat get to work. I ain't going to be pretty. You know what I'm saying? Outcome will be pretty.

The money will come in. But that's why I make my fight week and a lot of other times, my beauty content, my beauty time, because inside the ring, there's no way to make this look good. If you don't like fighting, if you don't like hard punches, if you don't like sweat, you're going to see it. And there's no way to make boxing look cute. Like, I'm not going to be inside the ring smiling. I'm in there to seek and destroy.

Do you think endorsements come enough for you? Absolutely not, no. Female boxer struggle with endorsements. Why do you think that's the case? Men boxers struggle too. The guy spoke to earlier Tito. I think he was saying Canelo had like $100 million. We're talking about Canello.

But you're that low. You're superstar level. He's Mexican. Okay. These are some of the obstacles, though. Yeah. But with that, when he talk about. black boxers who have big endorsement.

Floyd Mayweather, they have no big endorsement. Chaucorne. Chaucor Stevenson. I think Terence got with Hubello, but that's right before he retired. It's not, people haven't seen the, I don't know how I think boxers can add today. Brent, I feel like what I seen Anthony Josh will do

with the endorsement, I haven't seen no other boxer be able to do in the history of boxing. Like he has so many endorsements and brand deals. And it was like, all right, so you want to model after Anthony Joshua, but then it's like, okay,

when you're not going to jail and you're not smoking and you're not drinking and you're doing community giveaways and you're keeping your energy and space clean, what else can you do to get endorsements?

It's just like they don't look at women's boxing or boxing period as something that they feel can add to their brand at the right now. I'm like right now it's changing but I've added so much to my brand that now I'm positioning myself to where I can be able to get the major endorsement deal but it's going to take more than just boxing and do it. You would think it's just boxing and accolades and greatness but it's like no you got to have the accolades you got to have the clean record you got to have the look you have to have the community work you have to have you got to stop beefing online

with people kind of like take the Ryan Clark uh lane yeah you got to figure out way to do that but it's like shit how are you gonna do that yeah you drop songs you but see that helps your brand yeah that stuff so how I mean I don't know how you you wait at because you engage with the bullshit too

like if people call you out you'll say something back to them you know what I'm saying you ain't just ducking no smoke and I think from fighters to me that is acceptable from fighters yeah but I just feel like too like I thought it's not a problem you ask me it's like hey if it makes me feel better I'm gonna do it

but I also too say that man what God has for me is for me I could care less about an endorsement deal right I signed an $8 million deal with winning records I still got my millions if they want to say oh but it's an $8 million deal

from a record label I don't give a fuck if it was $8 million from a damn bird right it's $8 million did the check clip the check clear as you can see you see this hair yeah he you talking out yeah you see these clothes all that the check the check clear he said I got

he said I got three million dollars time I'm going to see Pap called me and said hey man Ruth said he got me this is the deal they said what I'll call you back hey rule what up me and Ruth what I said okay so you said what I said send a contract over

if that's the contract say all right since the contract I send to my lawyer my lawyer me back and say, yeah, look good. I said, well, doc you sign, who-woo, send the back to the room. Ruth said, took your account. Pound three million dollars. I said, oh, this nigga not playing.

Yeah, you see. You see. You see you. I'm like, oh, shit. Hey, that's my son of a nigga right there. Hey, boy, that's love, though. No, for real. I know you felt good, man.

You worked hard for that, though. No, 100%. And I was like, yeah. What do you say, pal? What are laughing? Not because Pat, no, I say, you said, what? She is. It clear.

They say no more. Not good. Talk less. You know what I'm saying? Did you ever have business with MVP as well? So when I was a free agent, which was probably the smartest move that I've done in my boxing career, I spoke to every boxing promoter. There is everybody wanted to sign Koresa. from MVP to match room

ESPN to lead the promotions everybody wanted to sign me and so while I'm doing my negotiations and they sent over contracts it was like everybody had a million dollars you know what I'm saying everybody had a million but it was like man

I already didn't fault for a million dollars y'all still come with the same deal then somebody came in 1.1 I said that's still one million that's the tax and shit I need to get my money so in my mind I'm like Like, I want to fight for five, you know. Well, for me, when I was talking to PAP, I'm like, listen, I want to sign for $3 million to $5 million to fight.

That's what I want. So when everybody was sending their contracts and everything was sending a million, I'm sitting there talking to God. Like, God, I know anybody's playing me like this. Right. Not for everything I haven't been through. I'm like, it's not making sense. And then when Waring Records came into the game, that was it.

Yeah. That was it. They cash right in for you. Eight million. I don't think nobody has ever signed for a $3 million signing bonus. Right. Guys signed for a million. But, you know, I feel like God was like, they overlooked you the first Olympics.

You had to overlook you the second Olympics. And then you turn pro and you whipped everybody. And they tried to overlook you then. Like, you was fighting the best, but they wasn't paying you nothing. So God was like, really, you were supposed to got a million dollars signed a bonus for one gold medal and a million dollars for another one. And then a million for all the hard work you put in for the pros. So when he said three men out of signing bonds, I said, that's just,

think God know how to, he didn't know how to pay it back. Right. You know what I'm saying? I think God. I think God. And I just thank God that he didn't bless me with no $8 million and $3 million when I was 21. I'd be broke as a joke right now.

Yeah, you ran through it. What? I didn't know to tell people no. Everything is somebody coming for. I need $1,000. I need $10,000. I would just send it, send it, send it. I ain't like that no more.

What made you? I think part of that is us feeling like we want to be the big dog. We want to take care of it. What was it for you? For me, that's what it is. It's like, yo, they no dude can take care of whatever. You call him a he hard. He whatever going on.

You know, some of it is that. What is it? What was it for you that was driving that make yourself available for people like that financially? I just wanted to help people. Yeah. I don't like seeing people struggle. I feel like for me, I don't actually. for help unless I really need it.

Like, I don't want anybody to push me in a goddamn wheelchair. Right. If something on me is messed up, that's how much I'd be like, I got it. I'll limp and get around. I don't want to. So it's like, you've heard the chaos. Now you can see it. Hello.

I don't got it. Did the $8 million payment feel like a victory for you? Or did it feel like late payment? and that's what they said to him and I said well you know what I'm gonna stick that right on here so I know I ain't dealing with these people right because they don't they don't see the vision people think that their ideas is crazy it's like no you just around people who don't see your vision right yeah yeah for sure you get around right people who see your vision they'd be like okay that's one thing I can say with my um with my home girl beating

man we went out to Dubai for eight days with Floyd Mayweather right and it was a vacation because I had just got my first million. And I remember we watched everything that was going on. And I was like, bro, we can do this shit. And what we learned was everything is illusion and perfection. Like people who make it to the billionaire status, they pretend to be billionaires.

And they pretend to be millionaires before they get there. And you know what? It's not necessarily pretend. And then what it is is, even in business, they have this thing where the evaluation process and they multiply, they give you a multiple of 10. So they kind of pay you up front for the rate of travel. So like if my business made $10 million this year, it's really going to be evaluated at $100 million business. Right? So that's kind of how they do it.

And what you're saying is correct. But in the business world, I think that's how they're cloaking it. They're cloaking it behind like evaluations and and net worth and business and corporations and stuff. And they're inflating their billionaire status and hoping to catch up with it. Sometimes the business will catch up with it and other times we see it fall apart. Is boxing your primary source of income and for how long will that be the case for you? boxing um

social media uh so you get a bag from social media too to look to the social media bag why they're always talking about me and I ain't just collect them from one I get thousands off Snapchat I get thousands off YouTube and I get thousands off Facebook

I spar, you know, guys as big as that guy who here? You shook today. Oh my goodness. So, but the thing is, my boxing coach at the gym, you had to realize I won an Olympic gold medal at the age of 17. I was still a kid. I'm fighting against women who are 34, 25, 30. These girls were much stronger than me, much bigger than me. I just knew how to box and how to fight.

And I learned that from being in the gym with the guys. I mean, from the time I was 11 years old, I sparred 40, 50 guys by the time I was 17, 18 years old. I've never sparred against nothing else. I can count on my hand how many girls I sparred. Probably like seven, eight. I haven't sparred that many girls even now being 31. So out of 20 years, I spar men. Now, this sparring you're talking about with this guy that dropped me,

He took the padding out of his gloves What? Why? Because I Wipped his ass the week before. It had nothing to do with nothing else. And this guy was from like Russia or somewhere And they had this thing where Women are inferior to them. Like we are Less and then I'm black. No, but

But you see, they celebrate This bullshit online And when I laugh about it, but this happened back in 2018 When this happened. So when I piece this guy up, he also is sparring against a guy named Harold Cadero. Now, I sparred both of them.

I sparred him four rounds. He dropped me in the third round. Got back up, sparred him again for the fourth round, and then I sparked Harold four rounds. So I went eight rounds that whole day. I didn't get knocked out. I got dropped. Right.

because all of us sparred the week before. That's fucked up, so. So now after the sparring, because one, this is my first time ever in my life being dropped. I know it. Ever. I know that. I'm a fan of yours. I've never seen it.

So I'm saying. So now that it's all, so when he, first of all, he's bringing it up now or he's posting it now. Nigger that happened in 2018. You talk, you time out when I was a three-time world champion. I got 19 world championships now, and now you posting this. like it's weird clout but the thing that i that i found funny was people tried to make it seem like oh this is the time for us to try to attack her now

like like i'm gonna feel bad for getting knocked down by a dude it was like a bitch can't do it ain't nobody gonna do it inside the ring right it's not no other guys who can say that but i know i don't like it i didn't like to see it and the reason i'm speaking about again that black man shit is kicking in on me is just i still feel you like a black woman, you still like, my family, your extension of us. Oh so no So with the glove After he's got done sparrowing Harold Because I was so confused about how I got dropped It's not that I'm like oh I could never be dropped Because it was like anybody can get dropped But I was just like By him

Right Like nah I haven't been hit where I couldn't chew for three days It's not by him. So after him and Harold got done sparring, I walked up to the little dude, and I shook his, I shook his hand, and I said, thank you for the work. And when I grabbed his glove, it had no padding. So I caught my coach over there, Coach John. I said, man, look at this.

Coach come over there, grab a glove and say, man, she's a girl, man. Why would you do that? So then his coach runs over there, and he says, oh, these gloves were given to me by Roberto Duran. And then he takes the gloves off the guy and stuff him in the bag. This is crazy. So that's what happened. And the thing is, we're talking about 2018. We're talking about a man, first of all.

Yeah, but we're talking about, but 2018 is like, bro, back then, I had a world championship fight against Hannah Garibals, not even two weeks later, and I got dropped first round in that fight. That's my second time ever being dropped. My second and only time. So it was like, okay, maybe mentally, like, that was playing in my mind or whatever. But I would say that for that. for that for all that to happen and me still to be where i am it's like i didn't even talk about

the whole thing forever i never said nothing about it but this dude was holding on to this footage like oh i just can't wait to post it and he posted it and made himself look dumb no i don't respect it i don't respect it at all i don't respect it not even a little bit did the boxing world is he ostracized how does people how do people view him and i don't want to know his name No, first of all, he already know what he got coming to him. Roley knocked him out in the fight already. Okay. And I told Roley a little fake ass, thank you.

So if he tried to come around or he try to spread people, everybody know, one, watch out for his gloves and two, be his ass. Let's talk about punch resistance a little bit because that's another thing that I was I'm kind of worried about when you spar with these men. It's like

I know women can't mess with you and I want to say that because I'm looking at Anthony Joshua yesterday or the last week with his fight and it felt like he was going down kind of easily like he's lost some of his punch resistance. You don't think about that when you spawned. Oh, I got way better defense

than Anthony Joshua. But that's what it's about. I don't go power for power with these guys. Like Pat has seen me spar against the men and he no, that's not the game that I play. Right. I don't like, I don't like.

I cannot say, do I like getting hit in the face? I would say I don't get hit clean. I don't like getting hit flush. So what I, rolling, ducking, catching. You're not going to like, if you can catch me with like a, like a clean shot, you earned it. So I'm not taking a lot of punishment like people think even with sparring against the men. That's not what that. Okay.

All right. So do you think Anthony Joshua's lost any of his punch resistance? I mean, Anthony Joshua is one of the heavyweights who's fought the best heavyweight fights in the world. So I think we all have a time limit to be fighters. And it's all of our job as fighters to recognize when it is. But I don't, I mean, it's not like he just started getting dropped. He didn't got dropped before. But I'm saying like, I don't think it's, I don't know about believing his whole punch resistance.

thing. Keep your chin down. He built hands up. It's the game that I live by. So you don't think that you could, yeah, that's a great game. Let's acknowledge that. That's a good game. Yeah, that's it. What was up with that? I would say with friend John, I never thought we would be in this space that we in because I've been known since I was 15. You know what I'm saying?

And when I came around, she was right number one in a country, number two in the world. So to see that, I think it was a thing of like, like a little deep resentment that she had for me that I didn't know. I always felt like,

I feel like if we're in a fight and you beat me, I have to respect it. And I'll be French on four or five times now. Right. I took her a dream from her going to the Olympics. When she was ranked number one, I was ranked number seven. So I stole

her dream back then. And then we got ready to go to the Olympics again. I sold her gym again. And then we turned pro, our pro debuts. And I told her ass not to fight me. She didn't listen. And then I took her oath and made her be a not undefeated fighter. And then now we fight on this big platform. And she got him. I fought to make sure she got paid some good money. I was just going to say that even with the, even with the history, you sharing the stage with somebody at this point sharing the ring with someone is an opportunity given. That's like love being given from a female boss. Nobody wanted us to fight. Why?

One, it was a risky fight to take because Franscheon does have a, she got a punch if you let her land on you. But then it was just like, nobody likes her fighting style. They're like, oh, she too sloppy. The thing is, though, she gets the upsets, though. She fought against good fighters and she gets the upset. And she wins. So they was like, Clarice Will need to fire.

And I was like, man, put my home girl in the ring, man, a pair of some money. Like, let's do it. And we fought in front of 18,000 live.

Dope. I watched it. That was so dope. That was crazy. The whole fight. And I would say that she came and she tried. But I thought, I thought she was a person that was like,

you know, we would grow old and have our own podcast together and some shit like that. But it's like now, I just see like a lot of like jealousy and hate and resentment from her that I don't have for her but she has it for me so it's like you can't change the people feel about you was like it is what it is it is it personal is it I gave it a run down I think it's something that's like that was all professional though but it felt like when I watched you to interact it felt like some of hers

bled into some personal it wasn't just about the fights and the and the and the box You know, in a little in a way I feel like she has to put on this I'm the toughest and meanness and I'm the roughest girl for her husband Okay and I don't have to put on that role everybody know I'm extremely dangerous Yeah, and I and I have to keep myself from being that way like people know when I turn on It's gonna take more impact to keep me from whooping somebody ass like we you better have security You better have somebody in between us because once I decide that's where I'm taking it to, that's what I'm taking it to. So I try not to do that.

Yeah. So I feel like me. being that way and she's used me being like her little sister and I cater to her I help her I'm there for her now it's like it's me versus you so I got to show you this is this is how Beyonce do you know what now you definitely put on you put on for Flint as well all the time I carry fun on my back they love you up there I would imagine oh Flint of course I'm Flint's favorite daughter how do you feel about some of the love you get from up there I imagine like what you've done any city, state would be proud of if you come from there.

Like I say, you broke a lot of barriers. Do you think you get enough love? Do you, the city loves you? They open, roll out the red carbon. How do they feel about you? I always say everywhere I got haters. But when I think of just Flint as a whole community, I'm loved by 95% of the people. 95% of people I'm loved by everybody just like, they love me, they appreciate me.

I wear my hair blue when I fight to represent the water. crisis that's still ongoing in flint michigan yeah let's give a little least some time to that the water crisis i know you spoke out about that a lot you do your ritual with the blue hair to let people know raise awareness people are suffering in flint how can people help how can they raise awareness what can they do to support people in flint and why is this still going on in america all the pipes in flint have not been fixed to to help with the dirty water and then people that want to help i would just say get those buses or whatever and keep sending water to the churches because the churches give out water every weekend um find you a foundation who gives out the water to the people that needs it

but that's really about it but even with the water crisis flint is still a very resilient city everybody still around they're wearing Gucci and facie and you know popping out they pop it right right right right so water crisis ain't stopping nothing but do you what are the what is the government saying to the people of Flint like it's been years of this like what they are I guess they are fixing one one house pipes at a time I have no freaking idea but it affected a whole area so it's like do you make where do you put those people that got the bad water at while you fix their pipes like where do they live right you got to move them around and are they willing to leave for that so it's like it's a it's It's a sticky situation
