I'm Ellie Flynn, an investigative journalist, and this is my journey deep into the adult entertainment industry.
Starting point is 00:00:47 I really wanted to be a player boy, my doll. He was like, I'll take you to the top, I'll make you a star. To expose an alleged predator and the rotten industry he works in. It's honestly so much worse than I had anticipated. We're an army in comparison to him. From Novel, listen to The Bunny Trap on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. in comparison to him. From Novel, listen to The Bunny Trap on the iHeartRadio app, Apple podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
Starting point is 00:01:07 Hey, I'm Jay Shetty, and my latest interview is with Wiz Khalifa. The craziest part of my life, I can go from performing in front of 40,000 people to either being in a dressing room, being in a plane, or being back in a bed all by myself. He is a multi-platinum selling recording artist, mini mogul, and an actor. Which of them are the one, the only? The Wings of the League!
Starting point is 00:01:31 Listen to On Purpose with Jay Shetty on the iHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Join iHeart Media chairman and CEO Bob Pitman for a special episode of the hit podcast, Math and Magic, Stories from the Frontiers of Marketing, as he interviews the iconic and prolific Martha Stewart in front of a live audience in celebration of her 100th book. Did you ever think you were gonna wind up writing 100 books?
Starting point is 00:01:58 Yeah. You did? Yeah, it's just a minor goal. Listen to Math and Magic on the iHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Hey, everyone, it's John, also known as Dr. John Paul. And I'm Jordan, or Joe Ho. And we are the Black Fat Film Podcast. A podcast where all the intersections of identity
Starting point is 00:02:21 are celebrated. Ooh, chat, this year we have had some of our favorite people on including Kid Fury, T.S. Madison, Amber Ruffin from the Amber and Lacey Show, Angelica Ross, and more. Make sure you listen to the Black Fat Fam podcast on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcast, or wherever you get your podcast, girl.
Starting point is 00:02:40 Ooh, I know that's right. All right, so K. and SZA, they got a tour and he announced the tour. The Grand National Tour with SZA yesterday and the tour starts April 19th in Minneapolis and then they hit LA May 21st and May 23rd. LA gonna be crazy that day. It's gonna be real crazy. They're gonna be at the Sophie Stadium. But the stop that people really trippin' about is the Canada one. Toronto. Yes, absolutely, because June 12th,
Starting point is 00:03:10 Heman says they're gonna be in Canada, right? Now, this is the thing, speculation, speculations. That's like the kickoff to Father's Day weekend, right? And so people are assuming like he's doing this on purpose, going to Canada Canada and you know He's gonna perform not like us meet the grams all that in this man's country Right and it's gonna be crazy and we and we already seen when Rick Ross went there and he played not like us He was bopping out to it. What happened to him? Oh, it's gonna be a lot different with Kendrick
Starting point is 00:03:40 Oh, no, no, I know it's gonna be a lot different But I'm just I just wanted to remind people of that because that's what happens when you go and you play that song. But he's stopping there on the tour on Father's Day weekend. Yeah, I wouldn't, I don't think I would make that stop, you know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:03:54 Not because of no Screet stuff either. It's just like, you know, when you look at how petty, petty Arby Graham is who just filed a petition against UMG because they're not like us. We know how connected Drake is in Toronto as far as with government officials and who else. Like they might just make life difficult for Kendrick on that level.
Starting point is 00:04:10 Forget the street stuff. I'm talking about being detained or you know, you can't even trust people at the airport. Who can you really trust in Toronto? Well he's gonna be flying in private. He's not gonna be flying commercial. We have to go through the regular TSA and stuff like that.
Starting point is 00:04:22 You still gotta move around. You still gotta stay in hotels. And this is concert. You still gotta eat. This is venue. I'm sure this is live nation. They will have TDE will have Kendrick and everybody secure. And he has a lot of fans out there. What that got to do with the Toronto government. Do you realize Drake, he boosts the economy of Toronto? Correct.
Starting point is 00:04:37 Do you realize Drake gave the city of Toronto an identity? Do you not connect Drake in bars with the government in Toronto? I don't think they would play those games. Because remember Drake has to perform in LA and all these other places in the states too, with streets. So I doubt it will go that way with it. The reason I say it's totally different is because Drake is connected to the government of Toronto.
Starting point is 00:04:58 I just personally wouldn't. Kendrick is connected to the streets of California. You talking about government versus the streets? Yes. Oh you stupid. No I'm not, yes, yes. Can we talk about the government versus the streets of California and LA. You talking about government versus discreet? Yes. Oh, you stupid. No, I'm not. Yes, yes. You talking about the government versus discreet?
Starting point is 00:05:09 What is he going to do? Kendrick is a clean-cut individual. He ain't got no problems. You can always make up stuff. That's my whole point. I wouldn't trust it, personally. I have no reason to trust them people in Toronto. I don't think Drake will play that game.
Starting point is 00:05:19 The same Drake that just filed a petition with UMG over Not Like Us? That's different. I don't think he'll play that. How is that different? I don't think he's going gonna play them games with Kendrick. Hey, you wouldn't have thought he would have filed a petition for a battle, in a rap battle either.
Starting point is 00:05:30 Well, he's suing UMG. That's different than suing Kendrick. He's not suing. I don't think. He's not suing, but I'm saying he put out that petition. But you didn't see that coming. Kendrick then told this man he's not a real dad. And he was talking directly to Adonis in the song and you gonna go there?
Starting point is 00:05:42 I don't think he would play that game. I wouldn't, I just wouldn't trust him. I wouldn't want that problem when I came to LA because Drake has to go back on tour in LA and San Diego and San Francisco. And speaking of LA, it's SoFi Stadium. My bad, I said Sophie, but yeah, it's SoFi Stadium. I know what you meant.
Starting point is 00:05:57 Yeah, yeah, but the people there probably didn't. I would be more scared of the streets than the government. Cause you stupid. Okay. Mmm. Street rather have beef with the IRS or a gang? I would be more scared of the streets than the government. Cause you stupid. Okay. Mmm. Street beef. Would you rather have beef with the IRS or a gang? I could at least pay the IRS off.
Starting point is 00:06:10 If I got a problem in the streets where I can't walk around. They will pop your head off. When it comes to street beef, IRS you could pay off. You could put on a payment plan. You could make sure. But they're all gangsta, yo. They're the biggest gangsters in the world. And they ain't even close.
Starting point is 00:06:23 The streets will pop your head off. They ain't nothing close. I can will pop your head off. They ain't nothing close. I can't even take my kids to the nursery school. Man, please. Government officials are the biggest gangsters in the world. In any country. See, niggas in the street die. You ain't never hear about no government.
Starting point is 00:06:33 They probably kill them off some stress, but niggas in the street be dying. Yes, man. Well, speaking of dying, Eminem's mom passed. Her name is Debbie Nelson. She passed away after after battle with advanced lung cancer so she was diagnosed in September and they told her that she didn't have much time to live she died Monday night in Missouri. Now we do know if you don't know Eminem's relationship with his mom over the years we know it was very complicated in 99 his mother sued him for defamation after she
Starting point is 00:07:03 claimed after he claimed that she smokes more drugs than he does in the hit song My Name Is. And then there's some other things that happened. He's mentioned her a bunch of times, but in 2007 she wrote a tell-all memoir about him. It's My Son Marshall, My Son Eminem. And then in 2013 he released a song called Headlights where he mentions his regret for being so harsh towards his mom. I'm very very happy that they actually was able to reconcile a little bit over the most recent years or whatever because Eminem is one of my favorite rappers so I've actually you know and he went hard on her and cleaning out my clothes and I ain't want to play that because you know she's gone now but she was 69 years old and she actually celebrated when he got inducted
Starting point is 00:07:47 to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame back in 2022. So Send a healing energy to one of my favorite rappers and definitely rest in peace to his mother. Definitely man And that is just with the mess. All right. Thank you, Jess. Charlamagne. We give that donkey to for after the hour We need a man named Richard Lombardi to come to the front of the congregation. We would like to have a word with him. Okay. This may or may not be a Lovers Quarrel, but we'll discuss. All right. Now you playing Jess's song, Jess just made a request. Please. This is Jay's birthday.
Starting point is 00:08:11 I want to hear this. This is one of my favorite Jay's songs. It's Hole's birthday. We'll get to it in a second. It's The Breakfast Club. Good morning. Hi, I'm David Boren.
