The Breakfast Club - Lecrae Interview But Don't Let That Distract You From
Episode Date: March 3, 2017Friday 3/3- Today on the show Conscious Rapper Lecrae came to to visit and spoke upon his record with Ty Dolla $ign, politics but definitely didn't let that distract him from talking about how Remy Ma... hit Nicki with a second diss record and still no reply from Nicki! So we had to open the phone lines and see how our listeners felt about the record and the no response. But one thing for sure Charlamagne was highly upset with Nicki and let it be known so much that he made her Donkey of the Day. Or maybe not.
No country willingly gives up their territory.

What is that?

The Breakfast Club.
Made for everybody.
Good morning, USA! You almost forget? It seemed like you were a little confused for a second. No, I didn't forget. Oh, all right. I'm just here for one reason and one reason only today.
What's that?
Okay?
What we're not going to do this morning is let Remy Mars, another one,
distract us from the fact that Nicki Minaj got bodied over the Ether Instrumental
and has yet to respond.
Okay?
What do you mean?
What do you mean, what do I mean?
I'm watching people say things like,
Nicki Minaj doesn't even have to reply now.
Yes, she does.
Yes, she has to reply.
Because rappers rap.
When every great rapper has been challenged, they have replied.
There is nobody above replying to a diss record.
I don't care if it was the great Jay-Z.
I don't care if it was the great Nasir Jones.
I don't care if it was LL Cool J.
I don't care if it was Ice Cube.
When you are challenged by a formidable opponent, you reply.
And I don't know what era we live in that a person can come out with a body like Sheetal
and drop a real regular record like another one.
And people say things like, oh, now Nikki doesn't even have to reply.
No, no, no, that's not how any of this works.
Well, she definitely absolutely positively has to reply, in my opinion.
Like you said, this is rap.
She's a rapper.
This is rap.
All that cute stuff she's doing on the boat with Future, she's there because of rap.
Over in Paris with all the models posing, acting unbothered, she's there because of rap.
Rappers rap.
I agree with you.
Period.
I agree with you.
And we can go down the line.
I mean, you named LL Cool J, Ice Cube.
You could say Cam'ron.
You could say 50.
You could say Nas.
Come on, man.
Listen, as whack as Meek Mills' reply was, he still
replied. And he replies many different
times. He still goes in. But he
did take some time to do it. We've heard it with
Fabulous. We've heard it with Jadakiss. We've heard
everybody who is a rapper.
We're not going to let Remy Ma, the number one,
distract us from the fact that Nicki
Minaj is not rapping. She got bodied
over Ether Instrumental. She got hit with another
one, and she has yet to respond. I don't care how you
feel about another one. I don't even like another one like that.
But we're not gonna let that be
an out for Dickie. No, no, no.
Lil Wayne has replied. Drake has
replied. Do you think it was a good idea for Remy
to put that record out? No. I think
Soulja Boy even replied to this
record back in the day. What? I don't
think it was a good idea for Remy to put that record out because
you know, in the 48 Laws of Power,
it always says,
don't go past the mark
you aim for in victory.
She threw us a headshot.
It was a headshot.
So now you're just watching
somebody put a bullet
in a dead body.
I think she should have,
I think, well,
I don't know if this was her attempt
or what she was trying to do,
but I think she should have
put out a record at this point.
Just put out a record.
Just a regular record.
A regular record.
Yeah, she should have put out
a banging ass record
for the club,
for the radio,
and a couple of shots in it.
And if she wanted to throw a shot in that record, that's fine.
Absolutely.
That's what I think that she should have did.
But it's not about Remy.
That's what the point I'm trying to prove.
It's been almost a week, okay?
And we're not going to let none of this distract us from the fact that Nicki Minaj got bodied
over the sheet, the instrumental.
She got hit with another one and she has yet to respond.
She has to respond.
She's a rapper.
That's what rappers do. It's not going to be an out. We're not using this as an has to respond. She's a rapper. That's what rappers do.
It's not going to be an out.
We're not using this as an out for Nicki.
That's not how none of this works.
No.
No, no, no, no.
Not this morning on The Breakfast Club.
It won't be.
Well, Lecrae will be joining us this morning.
All right, now.
I don't want to talk to Lecrae.
Blessings.
Blessings on a Friday.
I like Lecrae, but I don't want to talk to Lecrae this morning, man.
Lecrae will be here.
Positivity.
Yes, Lecrae will.
Man.
No, man.
Lecrae can't come this morning, man.
Nah, he's got to come.
It's Friday.
Not this morning, man.
Y'all need your blessings.
Lord have mercy.
Jesus Christ.
Y'all don't want to talk to Lecrae.
God is good.
God is great.
I love God.
Thank you for the food.
God is my everything.
Okay?
God put a word on my heart this morning to come in here and tell people.
And that's to tell people don't let the devil distract you from the fact that Remy Ma body
Nicki Minaj over the sheet, the instrumental, hit her with another one, and Nicki has yet
to respond.
Well.
Okay?
Well.
Let's talk a little positivity.
If you feel blessed this morning, call us up.
800-585-1051.
Maybe you want to tell everybody it's your birthday or, you know, maybe you had a kid on the way.
Maybe you're happy because it's Friday and it's the weekend.
Whatever it may be.
If you feel blessed, call us up.
We'd love to hear from you.
What's that evilish laugh, man?
Evil laugh is the BS I'm going to be on all morning.
All right.
Okay?
A lot of distractions this morning.
A lot of distractions trying to keep us from the fact that Remy Maabadi,
Nicki Minaj over the sheet, the instrumental hitter with another one,
and Nicki has yet to respond.
Well, let's get into Jeff Sessions.
Well, Jeff Sessions, he is denying that he did anything wrong
in meeting with the Russian ambassador.
He's saying he did not act improperly.
He's the attorney general now, as I'm sure you all know.
And he feels like everybody is hyped beyond reason.
Here is what Jeff Sessions has to say about his September meeting with the Russian ambassador.
I never had meetings with Russian operatives or Russian intermediaries about the Trump campaign.
I did not respond by referring to the two meetings,
one very brief after a speech,
and one with two of my senior staffers
with the Russian ambassador in Washington,
where no such things were discussed.
My reply to the question of Senator Franken
was honest and correct,
as I understood it at the time.
Oh, my gosh.
I don't understand what that devil's talking about,
but I do know that a shoe is about to drop in the Trump administration really soon.
They're not going to make it, bro.
Well, they are doing an investigation now
because he had said that he never met with anybody from Russia.
Turns out, yes, he did, but now he's trying to say,
well, I didn't discuss anything dealing with Trump.
So that's a whole other thing.
You could have said when you were being questioned, yes, I did.
But nothing was discussed.
It was in September.
So he already lied under oath.
If he lied and said he never met with them, but he did meet with them, that's a lie.
That's perjury.
It's like they've all been lying.
He has recused himself from the investigation.
Here's Jeff Sessions again.
My staff recommended recusal. They said that since I had involvement with the campaign,
I should not be involved in any campaign investigation. I have studied the rules and
considered their comments and evaluation. I believe those recommendations are right and just.
Therefore, I have recused myself in the matters that deal
with the Trump campaign.
I hate his voice. His voice sounds like his
granddaddy had slaves. Now, Donald
Trump has released a statement, and
he said, Jeff Sessions is an honest man. He did not
say anything wrong. He could have stated his response
more accurately. In other words,
he could have not lied. But it was clearly not
intentional. This whole narrative is a way of saving
face for Democrats losing an election that everyone
thought they were supposed to win. The Democrats
are overplaying their hand. They lost the election
and now they have lost their grip on reality.
What you need to do is cut ties with everything
that's about to bring your administration down. So the same way
that Michael Flynn had to resign, you should
be making Jeff Sessions resign too, but whatever.
Well, in other news, Vice President
Mike Pence, it turns out, also has a
private email account that he was using to conduct public business when he was Indiana governor.
Didn't they slander Hillary Clinton for having a private email?
Yes, they did.
He surely was one of the main ones slandering Hillary Clinton for her private email server use while she was Secretary of State.
But now he is saying that it's no comparison because Clinton had set up a private server in her home and he didn't handle any classified material as governor.
OK, but it turns out he had a personal AOL account that he was using to communicate with advisers issues of homeland security about security at the governor's residence.
And, you know, they found out somebody hacked his account and sent out one of those emails like, hey, I'm stuck in the Philippines and I need some money from Mike Pence.
Yes. Wow. Mike Pence. Now can get somebody with that one now.
Get an email from the vice president and you send it to the right person?
You might help Mel.
I'm stuck in the Philippines.
They'll wire you some bread quick.
But listen, we know the Trump administration is trash,
but all of this stuff is just a distraction from the fact that Remy Ma,
body Nicki Minaj over the sheet, the instrumental, hit her with another one,
and Nicki Minaj has yet to respond. Now, if you're just waking up, Remy Ma bodied Nicki Minaj over the sheet, the instrumental, hit her with another one, and Nicki Minaj has yet to respond.
Now, if you're just waking up, Remy Ma released another record yesterday.
We're going to get that on, I say, in exactly 45 minutes.
Very regular record.
In 45 minutes, we're going to get the record on.
I don't even think she should have put it out.
This record part two, we're going to get that on at the top of the hour.
But this ain't about her.
This is about the fact that Nicki Minaj has yet to respond.
All right.
But now, tell them why you're mad.
800-585-1051.
If you're upset, you need to vent.
Call us right now.
Again, 800-585-1051.
Call us now.
It's The Breakfast Club.
Come on in.
The Breakfast Club.
Hey, yo, hey, yo, hey, yo.
Good morning.
This is Matt Rapp.
I'm a T-Wide, man.
I'm a T-Wide, man.
I'm mad because I hung out in the club last night,
and there was too many good girls in there.
Yo, for real, we don't need none of y'all good girls in the club.
We need loose girls.
We need drunk girls.
We need sloppy girls.
We need girls that's just going to call away.
We don't need none of y'all nice girls in there.
Go home.
Go away.
Talk about it, and tell me why you mad.
Breakfast Club, for real.
Hello, who's this?
Hey, John from Long Island.
How you doing?
Tell them why you mad, John.
Hey, I'm mad because of this Remy mob, and, you know, the beef that happened. And I'm just Long Island. How you doing? Tell them why you mad, John. Hey, I'm mad because of this Remy mob and, you know, the beef that happened.
And I'm just saying this.
I'm just saying this.
Adele sells a lot of records, right?
Right.
Okay.
I'm not white artists trying to beat her up.
Why are we as a people always arguing and fighting with each other?
Ah, it's rap, man.
That's what we do.
We battle.
What's wrong with that?
Yeah, nobody's trying to beat anybody up.
It's just part of it.
I hear you. I hear you. Nobody battle. What's wrong with that? Yeah, nobody's trying to beat anybody up. It's just part of it. I hear you.
I hear you.
Nobody yet.
Are y'all up?
Hello, who's this?
Yo, this is Scotty Moore.
Good morning.
Scotty, tell them why you mad, bro.
I'm mad because Nicki Minaj ain't responding yet to that.
This record, yeah.
There you go.
Stay focused.
I'm so mad because I messed my face up.
I turned a mole into a hole on my face like three weeks ago.
Oh, you was twisting it?
And then I went to the dermatologist.
It was going to take like months to get that **** fixed.
You was twisting on the mole?
You was twisting on the mole?
Some people do that.
They twist it and twist it so the blood stops circulating and falls off.
I heard you do that, but it didn't work for me.
I made a blister, and now I got a mark on my face for, like, forever on my chin.
It would turn a mole into a hole, B.
Let me tell you something about that hole on your face.
Don't let it distract you from the fact that Nicki Minaj got bodied over the
Eat The Instrumental, got hit with another one, and has yet to respond.
Hello, who's this?
Hey, this is Michelle from V.A.
Hey, Michelle from V.A.
Tell them why you mad, mama.
I'm mad because, Charlamagne, you need to cut it, yo.
You need to cut the reason why Nicki ain't respond yet.
No.
Remy, that second that she did, that's whack.
I mean, it was dumb whack.
What about the first one?
The first one was whack to me, too.
Oh, okay.
I can't talk to you anymore.
I can't talk to you anymore.
Time's out.
Time's out.
Let her talk.
I'm not a big fan of neither one of them for a while.
I feel like Kapus wrote that.
I'm sorry because she came with that second diss,
and that second diss didn't sound anything like the first diss.
How many disses Nicki came with so far?
I mean, it doesn't matter.
Yes, it does matter.
This is rap music.
You know what?
I agree with you that she needed to come out and go ahead and do that diss.
I agree.
But Remy ain't about that life for real.
All she about is smacking bitches up.
That's all she got.
That's about that life.
What life you talking about she got that life?
She trying to scam off on these records and stuff.
She not even writing that stuff for real.
How you know she not writing?
She not writing that.
She didn't do that.
Come on now.
Well, listen, I'm going to be honest with you.
I don't care who writes what.
This second diss?
This second diss, Dallemay, compared to the first one? Come on, man. You do the math. What about Nicki's diss, though? Where Nicki's diss at? It don't care who writes what. This second diss? This second diss, Darlene, compared to the first one?
Come on, man.
You do the math.
What about Nikki's diss, though?
Where Nikki's diss at?
It don't matter.
It don't matter.
Yes, it does.
It don't.
It don't.
Well, then Nikki should get somebody to write her a diss, too.
Absolutely.
Since y'all saying Remy got everybody writing hers, Nikki need to write somebody to write
one of the two.
Come on, man.
Come on.
Let's just compare the first and the second one.
Let's be real.
But you said they both whack.
I would love to. They both were whack. Mine was the first and the second one. Let's be real. But you said they both whack. I would love to...
They both were whack.
Mine was more harder than the other one.
Mine was less whack, you see.
You know what I would love to compare?
What?
Nikki's disses to Remy's two disses.
But guess what?
Nikki don't have any.
She don't have any.
God.
Rappers rap.
I don't care what y'all say.
There has never been a rapper from Queens that backed down from a challenge.
Envy, you from Queens. I am from Queens. Nikki has never been a rapper from Queens that backed down from a challenge.
Envy, you from Queens.
I am from Queens. Nikki has let MC Shan down.
She's let Nas down.
She's let LL Cool J down.
She's let Envy down.
She's let 50 Cent down.
Even Ja Rule.
Ja Rule was getting bodied by G-Unit, but he was fighting.
He was still swinging.
Ja's still swinging to this day.
Okay?
Nikki ain't swung yet.
Well, maybe she goes swinging when she gets back from Paris.
Well, she needs to.
She needs to.
That's all I'm saying.
As of right now, March 3rd, we got nothing from Nicki.
So don't let nothing distract you from the fact that Remy Ma,
Body Nicki Minaj over to eat the instrumental, hit her with another one,
and Nicki still has yet to respond.
Okay.
All right.
That was Tell Them Why You're Mad.
Now, up next, Tell Them Why You're Blessed.
All right, let's spread some positivity.
800-585-1051.
Call us up right now.
Tell them why you're blessed.
And Lecrae will be joining us next hour.
Oh, my God.
Positivity out there.
That's what I'm talking about.
I like Lecrae.
He's a great guy.
All right.
It's The Breakfast Club.
Good morning.
The Breakfast Club.
Listen up. Okay. Are you blessed and highly favored?
Tell the congregation at 800-585-1051.
It's The Breakfast Club.
Hello, who's this?
Jett.
Hey, you feeling blessed, bro?
Always blessed, man.
I'm blessed to have 10 feet on the ground, man.
You got 10 feet on the ground? Yeah. You got 10 feet on the ground?
Yeah, you got 10 feet?
Wow.
I got 10 feet and 10 toes.
Well, that's a lot of feet, bro.
10 feet, 10 toes.
My man.
Centipede.
I just, I call so I can plug myself real quick.
Can I do that?
Yeah, you're the 10-foot man.
Where can we come see you at?
What service you in?
U2, J-F-L-E-E-Z Real One. I dedicate that
song to you, Ye.
I'm going to be honest.
You need to be in the universe.
Circus with 10 feet.
You're missing your calling, brother.
Hello, who's this? Hello.
Tell them why you're blessed. I'm blessed today.
On this beautiful Thursday in March as I get to
celebrate my 32nd birthday.
Happy birthday!
Thank you, thank you, thank you. But with that being said, on this beautiful Thursday in March as I get to celebrate my 32nd birthday. There you go. Happy birthday. Happy birthday.
Thank you, thank you, thank you.
But with that being said,
I wish all of me,
that doesn't take from the fact that
Nikki still has not responded.
Word up.
I don't understand people.
Like, we are so fickle nowadays
all of a sudden
because Remy put out a record that's regular.
That's not super dope.
Oh, Nikki wins.
No, that's not how this works.
Hello, who's this?
Good morning, guys.
Good morning.
Good morning, Angela.
Good morning, Charlotte.
Good morning, Envy.
Why are you feeling blessed today, mama?
That's because my reservation is finally almost done,
so I'm getting ready to have my performance tattoo party.
But don't let that distract you from the fact that Remy, my buddy.
Oh, my gosh.
That's right.
This is Dr. No More, and Nikki has yet to respond.
Has yet to respond.
Don't let nothing distract you from that fact, boo.
My goodness.
Hello, who's this?
Hey, this is Sharice.
Hey, Mama.
From Connecticut.
You feeling blessed today?
Yes, I am, because tomorrow's my birthday.
Okay.
A lot of born day.
What's this, Pisces season?
Is it? Of course. Okay. How old are born day. What's this, Pisces season? Is it?
Of course.
Okay.
How old are you turning?
I'm going to be 36 years old.
Okay, mama.
You almost in that AIAPA with us.
Thank you, you guys.
I listen to you guys every morning.
Charlamagne, I love you.
DJ Envy, I love you.
Angel Lee, ladies all day.
You know what I mean?
You know how we do it.
Don't forget, Wednesday is a day without a woman at work.
So that's our day
of solidarity.
All right, Angela Lee.
Hello, who's this?
I'll take it.
You'll take it.
Hello, this is Cam
from Florida.
Yeah, you feeling
blessed today?
Yes, I am.
I am feeling blessed.
Hey, everybody.
How you guys doing?
Why are you so blessed today?
Well, I'm blessed
because I just had a baby
six weeks ago.
Okay.
That's not bad.
You're saying back yet?
That's my first child.
No, I'm not back to work yet,
but I woke up this morning with an extra paycheck as well.
Oh, they're going to take that back.
You got an extra paycheck.
Don't spend that.
They're going to take that back.
How'd that happen?
I know.
Well, I have no idea.
I'm thinking it's a commission check
because it's an even amount.
It's not like any change or anything left over,
but I ain't complaining.
I ain't calling in to find out what happened.
They call me. All right. I'll take it in to find out what happened. They call me.
All right.
I'll take it.
All right.
Have a good day, guys.
Enjoy the baby.
They get big so fast, mama.
All right.
Thank you, MB.
Bye, guys.
Bye.
All right.
Now, tell them why you blessed.
Blessings upon blessings upon blessings.
We do that each and every morning.
Now, we got rumors on the way, Yee?
Yes.
I mean, I guess we'll play some of that Remy Ma song
that she put out yesterday.
That's right.
Nikki Minaj yet again.
You know why we need to play that?
Why?
Because we don't need to let nothing distract us from the fact that Remy Ma bodied Nikki Minaj over the ETH instrumental,
hit her with another one, and Nikki has yet to respond to anything.
All right.
Rumors on the way.
It's the Breakfast Club.
Good morning.
This is the Rumor Report with Angela Yee.
Rumor has it.
Rumor, rumor, rumor.
On The Breakfast Club.
So listen up.
Well, I didn't anticipate this.
Remy Ma has put out another diss song.
It's called Another One.
And it's only come just a few days after Sheetha.
We're still waiting for Nicki Minaj to see what's going to happen.
Is she going to respond?
She's acting very unbothered, but Remy Ma
put up a picture of Nicki Minaj in a doggy
style position. She put
still unbothered Spongebob
at Nicki Minaj. Did she really post that? Because I couldn't
find that anyway. I saw when she posted it.
She put hashtag before the butt job
hashtag Sheetha, hashtag another
one, hashtag keep calling
hating on me and watch what go up next
And then she put
The emoji of a video camera
And then she put
Hashtag I never post and delete
But this bitch
Gonna report my page
So she put it up
Then she deleted it
Because she figured
It was gonna get reported anyway
But by that time
Obviously all the other blogs
Had posted it as well
I missed all this last night
If you haven't heard this song
Here's We have a few
different things that Remy Ma addresses.
Check it out.
Alright, so I guess
she's trying to give her some jabs.
I have some footage of you that somebody sold to me, so just chill out.
Here's what she said next. By the way, another one isn't whack.
It's just regular.
It's not Sheetha.
Right.
And that's the thing.
It's not Sheetha.
If Sheetha came with this first and then Sheetha, I think people would feel the same thing Drake did.
She didn't need to give us another one at all.
Okay.
Sheetha was a headshot. All right. Sheetha. I mean, another the same thing Drake did. She didn't need to give us another one at all. Okay, Sheetha was a headshot.
All right, Sheetha, I mean, another one is just a bullet in the dead body.
Sheetha kind of went so hard that it was like, all right, what more can you say?
But this is the thing.
We're not going to let another one distract us from the fact that Nicki Minaj got bodied over the Ether Instrumental,
got hit with another one, and has yet to respond.
We're not going to let people use another one as an out.
Because that is the dumbest logic in the world
to me that Nicki Minaj doesn't have
to reply because another one isn't hot.
But there might be some things happening behind the
scenes that we don't know about because clearly
Remy's upset that Nicki's been calling people
saying things. Here's what
else Remy said on another one.
Heard you calling everyone.
Now call them back because I got another one.
Heard you were kidding saying I ain't having none. But that's okay baby because now you calling everyone. Now call them back because I got another one. Heard you were kidding saying I ain't having none.
But that's okay, baby, because now you my son.
Nikki got to reply, bro.
Nikki cannot be the first rapper from Queens that gets challenged to a rap battle and doesn't reply.
You can't let MC Shan down.
Okay?
You can't let LL Cool J down.
50 Cent, Ja Rule, Mobb Deep.
Listen, Ja Rule as bad as he was getting it, he was fighting.
Ja's still fighting to this day.
All right?
Nicki Minaj has yet to clap back yet.
So don't come to me with that, oh, another one wasn't dope.
So Nicki don't have to reply.
What that got to do with anything?
That's not how any of this works.
Now, of course, a lot of people were weighing in on social media.
And I'm going to tell you what Boosie said on his Instagram.
Boosie bad ass.
Just to give you another side.
He said, now I'm not taking sides with Nicki or Remy because that's not what I do.
But I got to speak on this.
When did all you bitch start hating Nicki so bad?
Y'all the same bees was just Nicki crazy, knowing all her punchlines, saying she harder than all male rappers, dressing like her, etc.
Everywhere I would go, I would hear nobody ain't effing with Nicki. Now most of the
same hoes told me they have completely
turned on this girl. People are so
effing fake. Well, that's the way
the game goes, okay? But let's be
clear. This is rap. You can still be a
fan of Nicki and still be
upset that she has not replied to
Remy Ma yet. Because I don't know what
great rapper is above replying
to a challenge. Well, when you criticize somebody
every time they say, oh, you're hating. No.
Nobody's hating. I'm a Nicki fan. I'm a
Remy fan. I just like to hear music,
hear bars. This is where it started from, bars.
We gotta continue with bars. If Nicki came
out with a diss tomorrow that was phenomenal,
I'm gonna give it up for Nicki and tell her,
oh, wow, Nicki clapped back the way that she
should have. Well, we don't know what's going on
right now behind the scenes, but Remy did say that she's done now.
And by the way, Remy is going to be on Wendy Williams today,
so she was promoting that as well.
But here is what Remy had to say on her Instagram Live.
Why would she say that on Instagram Live?
You just played the clip, M-Eazy, when she said she's going to the movies.
Now I'm done.
Now I'm going to go see a movie with my husband.
Listen, I hope that y'all enjoyed the movie,
but don't let anything distract us from the fact that Nicki Minaj
got bodied over the Ether Instrumental, got hit with another one,
and has yet to respond.
This is rap, people.
Envy, do you know any great rappers that backed down from a challenge?
Jay-Z didn't back down from no challenges. Nas didn't back from a challenge? Jay-Z didn't back down from no challenges.
Nas didn't back down from no challenges. Ice Cube
didn't back down from no challenges. Pop Shore as hell
didn't back down from none. 50 didn't back down from none.
Drake even didn't. Drake
didn't even back down from none. As whack as
Meek's response was,
he still clapped back after
he got hit with charged up and back to back.
Well, maybe Nicki has a strategy that we don't know about.
Man, please.
I don't know.
Who knows?
Listen, all those positions she in,
them pictures she posting from video shoots and with Future and Paris,
you're there because of rap music, Nicki.
Let's be clear about that.
I did hear Nicki has some records in the vault that are dope for her album.
I didn't hear a reply.
And I also heard that Remy is doing Wendy today.
Yes.
And she's going to talk about how it all started from allegedly Nikki telling DJs not to play Remy's records.
And I heard she's going to be talking about that.
Is that true?
I mean, that didn't happen with me.
They didn't tell you that?
Uh-uh.
And I heard that Remy is dressed to go to a funeral.
Yeah, I saw her picture on Instagram of when she was heading.
She's going to a funeral.
My thing is you can only ignore challenges after you have shown
that you can accept
a challenge at least once.
You understand what I'm saying?
Like, Jay-Z can ignore whoever.
No, Jay-Z don't ignore anybody.
He really doesn't ignore anyone.
But he does for a little while sometimes.
No, he just doesn't put out a record.
The next record you ever hear
from Jay-Z,
if you throw a shot at him,
he throws a shot back. Whether it was Joe Button, he threw a shot at Joe Button. Yeah, he did doesn't put out a record. The next record you ever hear from Jay-Z, if you throw a shot at him, he throws a shot back.
Whether it was Joe Button, he threw a shot at Joe Button.
Yeah, he did throw a shot at Joe Button.
No, but he does it his next thing. He did a whole freestyle.
Give me that beat, fool.
Let me give you a more recent example. Drake can ignore
Joe Button because he already showed
us that he can get busy with a meek.
So if he chooses to ignore Joe Button, that's his
prerogative. Nicki hasn't shown us that she can get busy in a rap battle yet So if he chooses to ignore Joe Budden, that's his prerogative. Nikki hasn't
shown us that she can get busy in a
rap battle yet. Well, not only do we want to hear
what's next, but I'm sure that
Remy wants to hear it too. We're going to play the record
and then after the record, we're going to clear this all
out. We're going to get rid of all these
tensions and we're going to have some positive
vibes. You sure you want to bring Lecrae in here right now?
Lecrae might burst into flames when he walks into this room.
Lecrae is a rapper, artist. He's a Christian rapper, right. But he don't you want to bring Lecrae in here right now? Lecrae might burst into flames when he walks into this room. Lecrae is a
rapper. Artist. He's a Christian
rapper, right. But he don't even want to be
identified as that. He's a rapper. But we'll talk
to him. We'll get on the record. We'll play
our station ID and then we'll get the
record on and then Lecrae.
We need some angel sounds. Tweet me
about another one record too.
It's cool. It's regular to me.
Alright. It's the Breakfast Club. Good morning.
Good morning, everybody.
It's DJ Envy, Angela Yee, Sheldon Mena, guy.
We are the Breakfast Club.
We got a special guest in the building.
He was in the strip club with me last night.
This is his second time on the Breakfast Club.
Lecrae.
Lecrae, you was in a secular club.
You were in a strip club last night with me?
I was absolutely not in the strip club with you.
I wasn't about to judge.
I did go to the Run the Jewels concert last night, though.
What's wrong with that?
Killer Mike is one of the most socially conscious brothers out here.
No, no, no.
There's nothing wrong with that.
Everything's right with that.
Since the last time you came here, you got a number one album, a Grammy win.
Yeah.
How have things changed for you?
A book on the New York Times bestsellers list?
True.
How have things changed for you, sir?
People just answer my calls now.
They were answering your calls before, though.
They pick up the phone now, man.
No, it's been good.
I mean, all that, a lot has transpired, but, I mean, you know, it all kind of pales in comparison to all the turmoil of 2016.
So, you know what I'm saying?
It's kind of like I love the fact that all this stuff happened for me, but I like to see what happens for us collectively.
Are you expected to give more in tithes and offerings now?
This guy.
No, man, it's all love, man.
No expectations, man.
I'm not in that type of world.
I can tell you're a very selfless person because even through all your success,
you're like, yeah, that's cool, but look at the world around us.
Yeah, I mean, look at it.
How has that changed things for you as a man and your music?
I mean, you know, I see myself as an activist.
I think a lot of times they see, you know, people of faith as kind of like distant
and apart from the culture and not inside of it and integrated in it.
And for me, it's like I just want to use my platform in a unique way to, like, speak into the culture.
You know, when you grow up seeing people like,
you know, man, I mean, even the most,
even like a Tupac or Ice Cube or Chuck D,
who's like, they have something to contribute
to the culture outside of just the music.
Absolutely.
So that type of stuff inspires me.
It makes me want to keep going.
Now, you don't consider yourself a Christian rapper.
No.
No, not at all.
What do you consider yourself?
I'm a hip-hop artist.
But my faith is a part of who I am.
You know what I'm saying?
It's going to bleed out.
Do they put you in that box a lot?
Yeah. I don't know gospel hymns
or none of that type of stuff.
My first gospel album, as far as I was concerned,
was Miseducation in Lauryn Hill.
When you are articulate about your faith
and stuff, people don't
know what to do with you.
So it's like you're an anomaly.
That's why I call my life
Anomaly.
They don't know what box
to put you in,
so they throw you over here.
But truthfully, I've always,
everyone's kind of been like,
what do we do with this guy?
And it's like you hear
Chance the Rapper now.
Yeah.
And you hear Kendrick Lamar
saying that that's one thing
that he's planning to address
on his next album is God.
So it's not like you look
at them as Christian rappers.
It sounds so crazy when people try to make God like an accessory.
Like, I'm going to talk about God.
This is this album.
Yeah.
I mean, yeah.
Shout out to both of them, too.
And people like Ye and Drake have, like, been themselves
and created some room for people to say,
oh, okay, I don't got to be like this.
I don't got to be like that.
I can just be me.
And that's all I'm trying to do is be me.
How did you get paid?
And I was going to say,
the new single is called Blessings.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Featuring Ty Dolla $ign.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Big Sean had a song called Blessings.
They didn't say he was a gospel rapper.
Right.
Yeah.
Sometimes it's content, too, though.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
You know, it's the content.
And we have a segment now,
Tell Him Are You Blessed.
And we definitely have no gospel radio show. Because we really need that, I feel like, especially right now with everything that's the content. And we have a segment now, Tell Him Are You Blessed. And we definitely need that.
We really need that, I feel like, especially right now with everything that's going on.
Right now, people are like, I need my faith more than ever.
Yeah, absolutely.
It's tough out here.
It's hard out here in these streets.
Why Ty Dolla $ign?
She mentioned Ty Dolla $ign on the single.
Yeah, Ty's dope.
I mean, he's a super duper musician.
I met him like a South by in like 2011.
Him and Terrace Martin Martin we was all just
chopping it up and then uh just built with him I seen the whole free TC
movement I was a fan you know shout out to his brother TC and uh man just mutual
respect for good artistry and I was like man I want to I wanted to make music
that's like you know it expresses who I am and I'm not all the way this on the
other way I'm a little bit righteous, a little bit ratchet.
It's like righteous and ratchet.
You know what I'm saying? It's a good balance.
Yeah.
That's my life.
Yeah.
You know what I'm saying?
So not saying that anything's wrong with Ty Dolla $ign, but when you pick an artist on
your album or a feature, do you look at their life and their career and say, I want to be
a part of that?
Do you pray over the studio before you walk in?
Burn, burn sage?
What do you call it?
Sage.
Sage.
I still laugh.
Nah, nah. It really is just, man, it? Sage. I still laugh. Nah, nah.
It really is just, man, I love music.
I love musicality.
I love people who are dope at what they do, what they craft.
I still care about the craft and the art.
And Ty's dope.
Ty can play like every instrument in the world.
You know what I'm saying?
I read an article that said you like to visit cemeteries when you're down.
What?
I'm the exact opposite.
We're talking to Lecrae, by the way. Yeah, I do. I visit cemeteries because it? Yeah, yeah, yeah. I'm the exact opposite. We're talking a little cray, by the way.
Yeah, I do.
I visit cemeteries because it reminds me, like, it's peaceful.
One, ain't nobody bothering you.
It's quiet.
But it also reminds me that all this comes to an end at some point in time.
Like, these people's dreams, did they get accomplished?
Did they do what they wanted to do?
Just reminds you, like, okay, like, get on your grind.
Like, focus.
Like, this is not forever.
Like, you got to, you know what I'm saying? Like, these are this is not forever. Like, you gotta, you know what I'm saying?
Like, these are people's moms, dads,
brothers, sisters, you know what I'm saying? Random cemeteries?
No, no, no, it's just like one.
I don't just like, oh, what's a good cemetery?
Oh, see, yeah, yeah, yeah. What a cemetery.
That's so weird. The article made it
sound like you could have been a necrophiliac.
Nah, nah, nah. That's weird.
Yo, pull over, yo. This is a poppin'
cemetery right there. Poppin' cemetery. Well, let's go to cemeteries. Nah, that's weird. Yo, pull over, yo. This is a poppin' cemetery. Poppin' cemetery.
Well, there's been a lot of success for you lately, right?
But personally, how has your personal life been as far as, I know sometimes with success,
the people around you, you have to really watch everything else that's going on, too.
Yeah, you swimming out here with the sharks, trying not to get bit, you know what I mean?
And it's been, I mean, I ain't going to lie, it's been tough.
Like, last year was really, really hard just because of all the police brutality stuff.
You're speaking out about it.
Everybody doesn't particularly care for your perspective on stuff, political stuff.
You know, I lost my good friend, DJ Official.
You know, he was my DJ and friend.
He passed away.
And so last year was rough.
You know what I mean?
So that's why I say the success is dope,
but it's like,
how can I leverage it
for something more meaningful,
something bigger?
And you said people were stealing money from you too?
Yup.
They're stealing out the truck plate, man.
They're stealing out the truck plate.
Fuck it, man.
But it has to be hard.
People that you trust that are close to you
and you're busy doing things
and now I got to watch the person
that's supposed to be looking out for me.
I mean, but it just is.
I mean, that's the nature of the business.
You know what I mean?
It's just like I say, you swim in with sharks.
That's the nature of the business.
You got to look over your shoulder all the time and just, you know, I don't take it for granted.
You know what I mean?
Like people realize.
How did you find out?
Honestly, like it just came down to like bookkeeping.
And, you know, just the bookkeeper was like, this don't add up.
This ain't this don't make sense. And then we kind of tracked it back to where it was coming
from and we was like yo man come on man first of all you grind me if you still period but if you
still from a gospel well a guy that's labeled a gospel artist like come on bro that's kind of
grinding but you know it's like people are people.
So I think sometimes people put this extra weight.
I mean, I'm saying like they put this standard on folks
that it should be on everybody, right?
Like I'm just saying like why you can't steal,
but it's okay for you to steal.
You know what I mean?
Like I just think people are people.
I don't second guess nobody
because everybody falls short.
There's no perfect person walking this planet right now.
So do you forgive the man?
I was about to say the same thing to you.
Yeah, absolutely.
So, I mean, I forgive you.
I mean, I may not put you back in employment, but you're forgiven.
You know what I mean?
All right, keep it locked.
We got more with Lecrae when we come back.
Don't go anywhere.
It's The Breakfast Club.
Good morning.
The Breakfast Club.
Good morning, everybody.
It's DJ Envy, Angela Yee, Charlamagne Tha God.
We are the Breakfast Club.
We have Christian rapper in the building, Lecrae.
Charlamagne?
Now, did you question God when your prayer for the Atlanta Falcons didn't work?
Oh, man.
Yeah, man.
I don't know why.
That was kind of weird.
I don't know why.
Yo, can you pray for the Falcons?
That was weird.
I was like, all right.
Who asked you to pray for the Falcons?
The journalist when I was in Atlanta. I was like, I mean, at the Super Bowl. I was like, okay, I'll pray for the Falcons? That was weird. I was like, all right. Who asked you to pray for the Falcons? The journalist when I was in Atlanta.
I was like, I mean, at the Super Bowl.
I was like, okay, I'll do it.
You know what I mean?
It was weird, but not because they didn't need prayer,
but I was like, I don't think God is like,
well, I'll go with the team that prays for the most.
You know what I mean?
It almost worked, though.
Yeah, I mean, I wish they would have won.
It was kind of disappointing.
It was sad.
All the spots in Houston
was ready for that. They had all that Atlanta music
on deck. All the DJs had all the Atlanta music
on deck, but it didn't go down like that.
Now, you said last year was rough.
When you watched how divisive
Donald Trump's campaign
was and just the
evilness that has come from that amongst
other people, how did that make you feel?
See, I knew.
I seen this coming because I do shows in like middle America.
Like New York City is New York City, but you go to like Elmira, New York.
It's a different New York.
You know what I mean?
The Trump stickers was out and about the Make America Great Again. So I could see like, I kind of liked it because it was like, okay, well, at least I know where you stand.
I can see your bumper sticker and kind of know where you stand.
And so I saw that happen.
I saw that bubbling up and then the pandering.
And, you know, I don't ever call myself the most politically educated person,
but at the same time I can see pandering.
I can hear the dog whistles and, like, pitting people against each other and, like, you know what I'm saying.
And I hated it because, you know, I thought it, but I also liked it because it created good conversation for a lot of my white brothers and sisters and friends, like, to be able to recommend some books, to be able to say, yo, check out Ta-Nehisi Coates, yo, you know, read.
Between the world and me.
Yeah, yeah, you know what I mean?
So it was like, it was good weather to say, hey, look at what people of color are wrestling with and processing and realize how your nationalism can make us casualties in a lot of ways.
Expand on that a little bit because I saw you tweet that.
You said that you had to recommend books so your white friends can get it.
Yeah.
What didn't they get?
They didn't get systemic oppression.
They didn't get the struggles.
They just look at like I work hard, you work hard.
They don't see like.
Why can't you do what I do?
You just work hard.
That's it.
You know what I'm saying?
So they don't.
It's like I don't understand.
We were just watching that Kalief Browder
docuseries on Spike TV and they
went through his whole history of how he was
brought up even just how... Even when he was born
you know he was in the system from the
beginning of his life and people don't understand
the impact that has on you long term
so that later on when something happens when you're
16 years old or even younger than that
they don't understand that you've been in the system forever
and it's not really designed for you to make it out.
Yeah, absolutely.
And that's what I was saying.
Salute to all y'all, too, for being young people of color who are inspiring,
who build platforms, take care of families and all that.
People just take this for granted.
They just see the entertainment aspect of it and don't realize what y'all came through,
what you built up.
You know what I'm saying?
I come from being government-fed, and I'm here. You know what I'm saying? I come from being government fed and I'm here.
You know what I mean?
Like inspiring people all over the world.
Like I can't take that.
I don't just have like I didn't grow up with like lawyer friends.
I can just, oh, yeah, what's up, man?
I'm doing this.
You know what I mean?
It's like I don't have these networks that a lot of people take for granted that they
have.
And so I just think it was just good.
It was educational and it wasn't like it was bad, but it was good because people got to be educated.
And I think we focus on the people who weren't and who were ignorant and who were doing crazy stuff.
But there's a lot of people who are like, man, I get it now.
Like you help me understand.
And I went to white friends thing.
Don't you almost think it's a good thing that they don't get it, though?
Because being that they don't know about systemic oppression and prejudice, they don't participate in it, so to speak.
Nah, because you can unknowingly participate.
You can unknowingly be a part of
an infrastructure. You know what I'm saying?
That whole cycle that's been going on because
you think it doesn't exist, but you're really
part of it. Yeah, you can unknowingly
do that. Like, I have friends who, like,
when I talk about police brutality,
they have never experienced
a
police officer
doing anything negative in their life.
They'll be like, just do what the cop says
and you won't get shot.
Yeah, it's fine.
Like, so they don't know.
I got pulled over six times in one day in East Texas once.
You know what I mean?
Like, they don't understand, like, this stuff happens.
You know, I got my whole car strip searched.
I'm going to a concert.
I'm like, yo, man, I'm not even on that stuff.
They like, they tore the whole car up, took the seats out,
didn't even find nothing. And they was like, alright, you put it back
together. They drove off. You know, like, they don't,
they never experienced that type. I'm not
saying they never, but for the
majority.
If they think it doesn't exist, how are they going to stand with you
against what's happening?
Right. So it's like that to me
helps them say, okay,
like, I get it. And even the faith faith component, like I don't think they see how page their patriotism and nationalism.
They marry it with their faith. And then they try to put that on me.
And I'm like, I can't like don't make me less of a man of faith because I don't share your sense of nationalism,
because I'm I think what Colin Kaepernick did was legitimate.
You know what I mean? Don't strip my faith from me because
it doesn't marry with what you believe.
And I think that's the type of stuff I needed them to help
to process and understand. But what do you think about Trump supporters
now that, you know, you say you see them all the time.
I'm sure they come to your show. I'm sure some of them are your
friends. How do you look at them now? You got Trump supporters
for friends? I'm
sure you do too. Yeah. I'm sure
I'm sure you do too. They sneaky around me though because I shall make friends. I'm sure you do, too.
They sneaky around me, though, because I have no problem letting a cracker or a white devil
fly out of my mouth.
This dude is wild.
I have no problem letting it fly.
This dude is wild, man.
Nah, I mean, yeah.
Look, I think, you know, politics is really divisive.
I'm the type of person that I'm like, I don't want to be put in a box anyway, so musically
don't put me in a box, politically don't put me in a box.
So just because I'm not, if I say I'm not this, doesn't mean I'm not.
If I say I'm not Republican, don't mean I'm Democratic.
If I say I'm not liberal, don't mean I'm conservative.
It's like, give me room to be complex.
Let me be a complex individual, and I think that's what I'm having to help my friends understand
is they just want it to be just black and white category.
America doesn't do nuance well.
Nah, nah, not at all.
There's no nuance in America.
Not at all.
Now, did you pay attention to the Remy Ma and Nicki Minaj beef at all?
Of course. Who'd you pray for?
I was, you know what, man?
You got all the, like, moves.
He almost said, I'm going to steal on you.
All the fake jokes, man.
What did you think when you heard the sheether?
I mean, for one, I thought it was good for hip-hop.
I want skills, skill set, lyricism to be put back on the forefront.
But is it only good if she replies, though?
I think she has a choice.
She has a choice to say, do I care about the streets and the culture?
And do I want to get involved in this?
Or do I just seem like, man, this is my job.
I'm getting paid.
I'm living good.
I'm out here, you know, with Beyonce and Jason Derulo or, you know what I'm saying?
And that's not really my world right now.
So she can kind of say, hey, this is what I want to do.
You know, I mean, as a hip hop fan, I want to see the reply.
You know what I mean?
I was telling everybody that I feel like that was Remy Martin,
God, Jesus, and the Holy Ghost all on one record coming at Nicki.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I mean, I don't know, man.
She's a rapper.
Remember, Nicki was a battle rapper.
That's a hell of a gamble, though.
Even for you, say if somebody came at you, right?
Right.
And you had to make a choice.
Do I diss this person or do I alienate my core fan base?
Because if you come out with a scathing diss record,
it'd be like, damn, Lecrae.
No, you got to do a record forgiving them.
Yeah, I'm going to go off on them real bad.
And at the end, I'm going to be like, yo, I'm tripping, man.
Forgive me.
All right, we got more with Lecrae when we come back.
Matter of fact, let's get into Lecrae's record, man.
This is Lecrae featuring Ty Dolla $ign and his blessings.
It's the Breakfast Local Morning.
It's about time.
What's going on?
Rumor Report.
Rumor Report.
This is the Rumor Report.
Talk to them.
With Angela Yee on The Breakfast Club.
Well, Bill Boyer did an article about Chris Brown's downward spiral.
It says, insiders open up about his struggles with addiction and anger.
It's a really long article, but I did read the whole thing.
So I did pick out some highlights for you on what was said.
Now, some of these are from people that still work with him.
And some of these quotes are from former employees.
Now, a former employee says that Chris Brown would have trouble sleeping in his master bedroom upstairs.
He would instead watch sci-fi movies all throughout the night.
They said there would be empty styrofoam cups around the table,
which is a sign that he hadn't been taking his medication because he's bipolar.
He had been diagnosed back in 2014.
They said he had likely also been sipping lean,
which was his comedown of choice after a Coke or Molly binge.
Now, according to this article,
the insider describes Chris Brown as scrolling through Instagram. they said he was always looking for clues about the
status of Caruce who was she with last
night where was she who was commenting on
her most recent post then they
talk about a scene where a delivery man arrives
and rings the bell and
it rings twice and then Chris Brown
loses his temper and says I'm going to show you what it's like
to not work with Chris Brown for
two weeks and then he yelled at his security and kicked them both out of the house.
Now, at the time, they said Chris Brown was preparing for the European leg of his One Hell of a Night tour.
But according to different members of his team, various members, they said he would stay up for as long as three days in a row,
snorting cocaine, taking Xanax, marijuana, Molly, lean.
By the time he finally left for Europe, they said he had physically attacked his longtime manager,
which we heard about in the rumors previously, Mike G.
According to Mike G, they worked together for four years,
and he said that Chris Brown suffered from addiction, anger control, and violence.
There's a lot of information in this article.
It sounds to me like somebody's trying to get a message through to Chris Brown.
They've probably tried to tell him to his face
numerous times and he's not listening. One person
in the article did say that they feel like
they're the one person that's not a family member that
really loves Chris Brown, but they can't manage to get
through to him. Now, despite all
of this, though, he has had a lot of commercial
success. He had seven debuts on the Billboard
Hot 100 in 2016 alone,
which is a big deal. And he
still went on tour, sold out shows, despite
not being able to get into certain places like Canada
and Australia. According to Chris
Brown's longtime choreographer,
he said he's a natural. He's almost God's
perfect person. No matter how he F's
up and no matter what he does,
another replacement for him is not on the
way in the next decade. That don't mean
God won't take away your blessings. When you abuse
the positions of power that God has
put you in, God will take you out of those positions of power.
Absolutely. Now, Chris Brown has
also announced a spring tour party.
That's going to be 33 dates, and he plans to do
that with Fab and with 50 Cent,
among his special guests.
OT Genesis, I think, is on that as well. Right.
And they are saying that this is what
he was diagnosed with. All this was
revealed previously. They said his probation officer, this is what he was diagnosed with. All this was revealed previously.
They said his probation officer, this is the report.
He was diagnosed with bipolar 2 disorder, a condition defined by depressive and hypomanic episodes
and often triggered by periods of extreme stress and drug and alcohol abuse.
The report also cited untreated PTSD and inappropriate self-medicating.
So that's what allegedly is going on with Chris Brown.
So hopefully people do get him whatever it is that he needs.
Now, according to his choreographer, having royalty did change his life.
He's a good dad. He really loves her. He's not faking that.
So when you see Chris Brown posting his pictures, he named his album after his daughter royalty.
That's real. But even with his mom, things have changed.
His relationship with his mom,
who used to co-manage him early in his career,
after he was in rehab,
they said, according to a former member of Chris Brown's team,
that's when, remember, he threw a rock
through his mom's car window after a session in rehab?
That's when things kind of went left and she stepped back.
What kind of rock?
Does it matter?
It wasn't crack rock, you ass.
You know what, you ass.
She just said when he got right out of rehab.
I don't know.
All right.
But this article is in Billboard.
Now, Chris Brown did, of course, respond.
And here's what Chris Brown has to say.
Y'all got to stop with this angry shit.
Going through drugs and all this other shit.
I'm tired of reading about some shit as soon as I got something popping.
As soon as I want to promote a tour, party, a f***ing album, anything, I bring up something.
Now, who is this new...
They are concerned with what girl I'm talking to
or what person I'm dating or who I'm seeing with.
I'm going to be seeing whoever I want to be seen with.
Just like you can be.
People can be who they want to be.
I am not hurting out here.
Trust me.
I don't know what's true and what's not true,
but if it is true,
I hope he gets the help that he deserves.
I look at this because it is in Billboard, and I'm sure.
I look at Billboard as a reputable source of information,
and they did interview multiple people that are in his campus,
not just one person.
Now, some of them are former employees, so we keep that in mind.
But according to Billboard right now, he has no manager.
He has no security.
There's nobody that is telling anyone.
He really do sound like the new Bobby Brown.
I've been calling him Bobby Bage for a few years now.
And they do compare him to Bobby Brown in the article as well.
Bobby Bage.
Drop on the Clues Bronx for Bobby Bage.
If you need help, get help, sir.
All right.
Well, I'm Angela Yee, and that is your Rumor Reports.
All right.
Thank you, Miss Yee. Charlemagne. Heyor Reports. All right, thank you, Miss Yee.
Charlemagne!
Hey!
Hi.
Hi.
Who are you giving your donkey to?
Oh, man, for the first time ever, Nicki Minaj needs to come to the front of the congregation.
We'd like to have a war with her.
Oh, you're giving Nicki donkey to her?
Yes, Nicki needs to come to the front of the congregation.
We'd like to have a war with her, please.
Oh, man.
Because unlike you fickle-ass hip-hop fans, I will not let anything distract me from the fact
that Nicki Minaj got bodied over the sheet, the instrumental,
got hit with another one, and has yet to respond.
No, Charlamagne, not another one.
All right.
All right.
Donkey of the Day up next.
Keep it locked.
It's the Breakfast Cloak of Morning.
It's time for donkey of the day.
Are you dumb? Are you dumb? I'm a Democrat.
So being donkey of the day is a little bit of a mixed up.
So like a donkey. Donkey of the day.
The breakfast club, bitches.
I've been called a lot of my 23 years, but donkey of the day is a new one.
You get donkey of the day. You get donkey of the day is a new one. You can donkey of the day. Yeah, you dumb ass.
Yes, donkey of the day for Friday,
March 3rd goes to Nicki Minaj.
Look, I've been telling y'all all morning
what we not gonna do is let
anything distract us from the fact that Nicki
Minaj got bodied over the Ether Instrumental,
got hit with another one, and has
yet to respond. Now, do I like
another one? Remy Ma's second do i like another one remi ma's
second disc not really it's okay it's really regular in comparison to sheetha but if i don't
compare it to sheetha it's cool but as a second distant nikki nah i actually said the exact same
thing mariah said at the beginning of the another oneemy, not another one. Why?
Why?
Yes, why?
See, in the 48 Laws of Power, it says,
do not go past the mark you aim for in victory.
Sheetha was a headshot.
Another one is just putting a bullet in a dead body.
Another one wasn't necessary, and it wasn't anywhere close to Sheetha level,
so it wasn't any real point in dropping it,
and I understand all the criticism another one is receiving online.
Last night, that was trash.
Remy was trending, but F all that.
Okay, I will not let another one distract me from the fact that Remy Ma
bodied Nicki Minaj over the Sheetha instrumental,
got hit with another one, and has yet to respond.
See, the thing is, rappers rap, okay?
And Nicki Minaj, you are a rapper.
You can post all the pictures you want on
Boats With Future, at video
shoots with Monica, but let's not forget
what got you in those positions in
the first place, rap music.
Okay, you can post all the pics you want, front row
at fashion shows in Paris,
at parties with Jordan Dunn, fine ass, but please
never forget that you are in that position
because you are a rapper. And being
that we know you are a rapper, we will not let
any of those pictures you post and distract us from
the fact that Remy Ma bodied you over the sheet
the instrumental, hit you with another one, and you
have yet to respond. This is the first time
we've seen Nicki Minaj in this position.
Okay, I mean, Lil' Kim hit her with some bars, and she
replied to Kim with a few bars, but this is the first
time we've seen someone really challenge
Nicki. Actually say, nah, you can't sit on that throne anymore. No, you can't have that crown.
Remy Ma said she's the queen of rap. Okay, not the queen of record sales, not the queen of
Instagram, not the queen of Twitter. She said, I'm the queen of rap. So Nicki, if you really the
rapper you claim to be, it's just a rite of passage in this game. You got to show us you can get busy.
And this asinine reasoning that Nicki doesn't have to reply
because another one isn't as dope as Sheetha,
where's the logic in that?
Okay, Remy hit Nicki with Sheetha
and has hit her again yesterday with another one,
and Nicki still has yet to reply?
If you think she shouldn't reply
because another one isn't as dope as Sheetha,
then you just looking for an out for Nicki, period. and that's not the way this rap thing works okay nikki minaj is running the risk of
being the first rapper from queens that i can remember and if you correct me if i'm wrong
because you're from queens she's running the risk to be the first rapper from queens that
backs down from a rap battle rappers from queens win or lose have been involved in some of the most
epic rap battles in hip-hop history.
Nicki Minaj, if you don't reply, you let MC Shan down.
Okay?
You let Nas down.
You let Prodigy from Mobb Deep down.
You let 50 Cent down.
You let LL Cool J down.
You let Ja Rule down.
Say what you want about Ja.
Even though 50 and G-Unit were all over them, Murder, Inc. never stopped fighting.
Okay?
Ever.
Nicki got hit twice and has yet to clap back, period.
That's not the Queen's way.
Okay?
You don't want to go down in history as the lone rapper from Queens who got challenged in rap and did nothing, right?
Please don't think that you are above replying to Remy Ma, Miss Nicki Minaj.
I know that you like to compare yourself to Jay-Z.
You put out an album called The Pinkprint,
which was a play on Jay-Z's The Blueprint.
Do you know what song was featured on The Blueprint?
The Takeover.
A Jay-Z diss to Nas and Mobb Deep.
Hov never thought he was too big to clap at people who was getting at him.
So why do you?
I know you like to use Beyonce as a model as well,
and you're thinking to yourself, nobody ever comes in Beyonce.
You're probably saying to yourself, only person came in Beyonce was Carrie Hilson,
and look how that turned out for her.
Well, Nicki, two things.
Remy Ma not Carrie Hilson, and you not Beyonce.
Or maybe this is your way of saying, you know what?
I don't want to rap anymore.
I like this pop world.
I'm going to do songs with Ariana Grande for the rest of my life and call it a day.
Oh, that's what you're going to do.
You're going to say F hip-hop andHop and go to Pop Rocks quickly.
You want to be Beyonce, so your next album is going to be called Pink Lemonade.
Okay, talking about how Meek did you wrong.
Is that the plan, Nikki?
Huh?
Is that the plan?
Stop texting the DJs and radio personalities complaining, okay?
We don't have to pick sides.
Stop getting upset if we say Remy bodied you on Sheetha because she did.
That's a fact.
Nikki, get out your feelings and get in the studio.
You are a rapper, a really dope rapper from Queens, New York.
And dope rappers from Queens, New York, don't ignore rap challenges.
LL Cool J gave it to Cannabis when LL was a superstar already
and Cannabis didn't even have an album out.
Ja Rule was multi-platinum when 50 Cent was on the mixtape circuit
and he had no problem engaging with 50.
So you can't stand on the, I'm a huge star, darling. I'm going to ignore Remy Ma. That's not what our
culture is about. Artists get in the party and forget what got them in the party in the first
place, okay? Everything you are is because of rap music. Without rap music, you don't get the
opportunity to even make pop music. Without rap music, you don't get casted for movies and TV
shows. And one of the purest essences of rap music
is the battle you was acting like you was ready for war on the jason de rulo record remember this
okay this is two years now your time's up okay you was acting like you wanted it on the gucci man
make love record remember this i don't see ya i'm the greatest no kendrick and no see ya. I'm the iPhone. You the Nokia.
A-Body know you jealous.
Bitch is so clear.
Tell them bum ass bitches to play they role.
She see my sexy ass every time she scroll.
I got it in the can.
So, your career gonna be with Anna Nicole.
See silly rabbit to be the queen of rap
You gotta sell records, you gotta get plaques
S, plural like the S on my chest
Now sit your dumb ass down, you got an F on your test
Nikki, all I'm saying is, if all these bitches is your sons, prove it.
All these bitches is my sons.
Until you do, I'm not gonna let nothing
distract me from the fact
that Remy Ma bodied you
over the Ether Instrumental, hit you with
another one, and you have yet to respond.
Please give Nicki Minaj the
biggest hee-haw.
Now, what you gonna
do? The ball is in your court.
All of this, oh, another one was whacked, so Nikki don't have to reply.
No, no, no, no, no, no.
That's not how none of this works.
None of it.
All right.
At all.
Well, then.
Zero zilch nada.
Has she reached back out to you again?
No.
Nope.
And why would she?
I don't know.
I've said what I had to say.
Okay? This is for the culture. Am I wrong? Am I don't know. I've said what I had to say. Okay?
This is for the culture.
Am I wrong?
Am I wrong?
No, I'm with you.
Oh, okay.
I'm with you.
All right.
And I like Nicki.
What?
I think Nicki is nice.
Yes, she is.
I think she can, one of the best when it comes to flowing on a beat.
But we've never seen her challenged.
But I would love to see her get back.
It's rap.
It's rap.
And listen, not only is it rap,
I'm serious when I say she is
a rapper from Queens. Win or lose,
rappers from Queens have been in some of the
most historic rap battles.
Oh, y'all taking some hours. Come on, let's be clear now.
We took one. Who's the one?
Prodigy.
MC Shan. Okay.
That's Prodigy.
Nas is debatable, but I would...
Watch your mouth.
TakeOver, to me, is better than Aether, but that's debatable.
That's debatable.
I don't know about that one.
Okay, I'm with you.
Second round knockout is debatable.
What else?
And then there's Ja.
All right, we took a couple else.
All right.
But win or lose, y'all...
We still fight.
Yes, that's all I'm saying.
That's all I'm saying.
Let's talk 50.
Maybe she has some good plan.
We don't know where her strategy is yet.
All I'm saying is rappers from Queens
fight. Win or lose. We fight.
Nikki has a lot of
history behind her because she's a rapper from Queens.
You can't beat a lone rapper from Queens
who says nothing.
Alright? And let's not act like
Remy Ma is not a formidable opponent.
Absolutely. Come on.
I personally don't think Nikki can rap better than Remy.
But Nikki can rap.
She can rap.
So you better dig in your bag, boo.
All right.
I'm not going to let another one distract me from the fact that Remy bodied you on the
Shefa Instrumental, hit you with another one, and you have yet to reply.
Respond.
Well, let's open up the phone lines.
Thank you for that donkey today.
Yes.
800-585-1051. Some people believe that Nikki doesn't have to reply now. So let's open up the phone lines. Thank you for that donkey today. Yes. 800-585-1051.
Some people believe that Nikki doesn't have to reply now.
So let's open up the phone lines and ask.
Some people look at this as an L now.
I saw that all over the timeline.
That was the stupidest logic I've ever heard in my life.
But we're going to let people weigh in and say what they think.
800-585-1051.
Does Nikki have to reply?
That is the question.
Yeah.
Stop letting the bobs fight your battles
because I know they all in my mentions right now,
but every single one of them can kiss my ass.
Some people believe no.
I believe this is a sport and you have to battle.
Yes.
Doesn't matter what it is.
We going to battle regardless.
Yes.
That's just me.
That's the queens in me.
Yes.
Remy pulled your card, period.
All right.
Call us up right now.
It's The Breakfast Club.
Come on, let's go.
Are you dumb?
The Breakfast Club. Come on. Let's go. Are you dumb? The Breakfast Club.
Y'all, The Breakfast Club.
Now, Charlamagne just gave Nicki Minaj donkey of the day.
That's right.
And we're not going to let nothing distract us from the fact that Nicki Minaj got bodied
over the Ether Instrumental, got hit with another one, and has yet to respawn.
Nicki Minaj is a rapper from Queens.
So the question is, does Nicki have to respond?
Yes, you know why she has to respond, Amy?
Because of your burrow.
I didn't ask you yet.
We know what you think, Shelly.
Let's ask Angela Yee.
Does she have to reply?
I think she definitely should reply,
and I think now would be a good time for her to reply
because this would be a good time for her to catch some steam
because some people didn't really feel like Remy's second,
another one was as good as Sheetha,
so now it's the time to go in.
True.
I would have applied for his date.
That was just me.
That's the queens in me, where I'm from.
And Nicki got to get like the hottest beat ever
and make it like a banging ass song
and get on there and kill it.
Not only that, if I'm Nicki Minaj,
I have a squad.
I have Drake.
They ain't said nothing though. I have T Drake. They ain't said nothing, though.
I have all these people around me.
Have any of them even...
Have any of them at least said,
I'm with Nicki? No, but I understand whatever you're saying.
Get the help you need.
Whatever you gotta do, you have to reply.
Listen, man, I'm not even from
New York City, but I understand the history
of the Great Borough of Queens. And like I said
during Don Quixote, Queens has had some
of the best rappers involved
in some of the most historic hip-hop
beats. Win or lose,
they get busy. I don't care if
it's LL, I don't care if it's Ja Rule,
50 Cent, Nas, Mob
Deep, MC Shan,
you have to get busy.
And she gotta have fun with it. You know what I'm saying?
Like, she gotta just go in and have fun
and not act like she's bothered.
Like, she's been acting unbothered.
She should do a bedrock part two
and call it, I could make your head rock.
Oh, my God.
I don't know about that.
But even you see how Meek Mill,
you see how Meek Mill and O'Meally
called Beanie Siegel and was like,
Beanie, when you had the beef,
how did you go by?
Call Hov!
Hov!
You don't even gotta call Hov.
Call Drake.
Call Drake. Call Drake.
Call Drake. Drake's right there. Call Drake.
And not to say that Drake can make you write your record for you, but he can help and guide
some of the things. By the way, even if you did
not like Meek Mill's diss record,
because I didn't like it, it was whack.
He still put out a record. Right. You gotta
clap back, Nicky. If you claim to be one of the
great MCs, there's not a great rapper
who has backed down from a rap challenge.
I don't care. When LL was a superstar
and Cannabis didn't even have an album out,
LL gave Cannabis bars. And did a
video. Did a video.
When 50 was just on the mixtape
scene and Ja was multi-platinum,
they came back at the G-Unit like,
no, you are not bigger than
a rap battle, especially somebody as formidable as
Remy Ma. Stop it. Well, let's go to the phone lines.
Hello, who's this?
Shakira.
Hey, Shakira.
Nikki respond.
Yes.
My Nikki respond is, all right, I'm from Queens.
I'm from Jamaica Southside.
I feel like, all right, Remy Ma and I'm going back and forth, whatever.
I feel like Nikki needs to respond and stand up for Southside.
I love her and all of that.
That's my bitch.
You feel me?
But Remy, she want to be relevant.
She doing all of this.
She wasn't, to me, she wasn't shit when she got locked up.
And she not shit when she came out.
She whack, and I feel like Nicki need to just bring it back one time,
and that's it, and kill her.
That's it.
Okay.
Now, I wouldn't say Remy Ma is trash.
I wouldn't say she's whack.
Remy's the best female rapper out right now.
Listen, this is not what we're saying.
I wouldn't say that.
People calling.
Hello, who's this?
Hey, this is Cheryl. Hey, saying. I wouldn't say that. People calling. Hello, who's this? Hey, this is Cheryl.
Hey, Cheryl,
do you think Nicki
should respond?
I don't think
she should respond.
Why, Cheryl?
Because Nicki Minaj
is already the best rapper.
It's already been claimed
from people
to be the best rapper.
Why respond to somebody
who's trying to,
okay, I realize
she came up already,
but Remy Mudd,
she's not good to me at all.
She sound like she retarded when she rapping.
Nicki Minaj done rap with so many people.
So you're saying just because you feel like Nicki's too far above Remy,
you don't feel like she should respond is what you're saying?
Exactly.
Y'all don't know what this is.
Y'all don't know.
If you're the best rapper alive, why you ain't, you got to sell records.
That's what proves you the best rapper.
I don't know if that proves that you're the best rapper alive.
No, selling records does not prove you the best rapper.
I really wish that y'all would get off of that, okay?
That's gravy to being the best rapper.
But when you're the best rapper, you're the best rapper because you actually rap.
Everybody that we have ever said is one of the greatest rappers of all time can actually rap.
Hello, who's this?
This Cookie from Detroit.
Hey, Cookie.
Now, we're talking Nicki Minaj.
You effed the whole empire, Cookie.
First of all, first of all, Charlamagne slaying her.
She should respond just off of you.
But first of all, man, you killing her.
You killing her.
I'm not killing her.
I'm just telling the truth.
You is telling the truth.
But first of all, they're two different type of rappers.
She an entertainer rapper, and Remy Ma is a hardcore rapper.
And Nicki Minaj is not about that life.
I don't think so.
She ain't about that life for real.
She don't gotta be about that life
to have some dope boss.
Yeah, that's true.
And then it's a technicality
and Remy Ma,
how the baby Meek Mill
is gonna be pillow talking?
How you gonna be pillow talking?
You should get smacked off for that.
The moral of the story
is Nikki needs to reply.
Yeah, she does.
Okay.
All right, now let's...
And it has nothing
to do with album sales.
I don't think
it has anything
This is rap, B.
This is just rapping.
People say, well...
Some of the best rappers
don't have the best album sales.
The biggest rapper ever
to sell the most records
is Tupac.
And then it's Eminem
and then it's Hov.
I think, personally,
Hov is the best rapper
of all time. That's just me.
Ghostface is my favorite rapper of all time,
but Hov is the greatest of all time.
Right, that's just what I feel.
Alright, now let's take it to Twitter, though. A lot of people were tweeting
what they think. At The Advocate said,
I like a good rap battle as much as any hip-hop theme,
but the pandering to get Nicki to respond to
Remy is getting corny. That's not pandering.
At Firecracker320 said, I'm with Charlamagne.
It's called rapping. She has to respond, get out her feelings
and rap. ChicagoRoy76 said,
why should she respond? Big never responded
to Tupac.
DayJilletPromo said, to play hip-hop
devil advocate, Nas
took four months before he dropped Ether.
Do you want quality or do you want a rush to respond?
Can I tell him to shut his old ass up? I hate when
people use that argument that Nas took four months.
This is a new era.
Four months is a lifetime.
Four months is going to be what?
It's March.
March, April, May, June, July.
Ain't nobody think about this in July.
Right.
Four months from now?
Like, stop it.
Okay?
And Big did respond to Pop.
Drake took four days to do Back to Back.
He did.
Back to Back is the last great diss record in modern history.
He took four days.
That is the new standard.
Not the four months Nas did with Ether.
Stop it.
800-585-1051.
Should Nikki reply?
Should she have to reply?
Call us now.
It's the Breakfast Club. you you Good morning, everybody.
It's DJ Envy, Angela Yee, Charlamagne Tha God.
We are The Breakfast Club.
Now, if you just joined us, Charlamagne gave Nicki Minaj donkey of the day.
Because I will not let anything distract me from the fact that Nicki Minaj got bodied over the Ether Instrumental,
got hit with another one, and has yet to respond.
Well, bodied means dead.
Okay.
She hasn't responded yet.
Yeah, since she's sound dead to me.
All I'm saying is, man, when you talk about hip-hop history,
Nicki is a rapper from Queens.
And I keep saying this over and over because I want you dumbass kids out there
to listen to your Uncle Sharla.
Queens rappers have been in some of the most historic rap beefs
in the history of hip-hop.
Win or lose, they were super active in these battles.
And Nicki's a battle rapper.
She started off as a battle rapper.
Not the little pop stuff that she does now.
She started off rapping, like, straight up and down,
spitting on Smack DVDs.
Like, she was spitting on a come-up DVD,
Shout Out to Fendi.
She was spitting.
MC Shane, LL Cool J, 50 Cent, Nas, Ja Rule, Mobb Deep.
Epic hip-hop battles Right With hip hop titans
Okay
You are a rapper
From Queens
Nicki
You do not want to be known
As the lone rapper
From Queens
Who did not reply
To a rap challenge
Well maybe she has
Something planned
And we just don't know
What it is yet
Hello who's this
This is Ron G
Ron G what's up
How's it going man
How you doing
Hey boo
We're talking Nicki Minaj.
You think she should have to reply?
She don't have to reply, man.
Think about it.
She's already, she's been in the game long enough.
And you think about it, if it goes farther than that, it's going to escalate into something.
No, it's not.
It's going to, yes, it is.
It's not going to escalate.
No, it's not.
It's not going to escalate.
She already reached.
She already reached a certain level in her life.
A certain plateau where she don't have to prove herself anymore.
No, she does.
That's the thing.
Where do y'all get this logic?
LL Cool J was a superstar.
Cannabis didn't even have an album out.
LL gave cannabis bars.
And I'll be honest with you.
If she didn't throw shots, then I would be like, she shouldn't have to reply.
Absolutely.
Because she don't want that work.
She threw shots.
But when she threw shots, I want that work.
That seems to me like she wanted action.
Absolutely.
She got that action. You got to respond. she wanted action. Absolutely. She got that action.
You got to respond.
That's all it is.
Hello, who's this?
Yo, this is D from V8.
757, D, what's up?
What's good, bro?
I'm listening to y'all every morning.
I appreciate it.
Yo, yo, I agree with Charlamagne as far as Nikki need to do something.
She don't need to be like her ex and take an L twice.
But, yeah, it's crazy she ain't came back and said anything.
All right.
That's the one thing I agree with Charlamagne.
I don't like him talking about Ethan not being better than Takeover.
Not being better than Takeover.
It's crazy.
That's just my personal opinion,
and that's why that argument will go on now
until the end of time because of people like me.
So what's the moral of the story, guys? The moral of the story
is we are not going to let anything distract us
from the fact that Nicki Minaj got bodied over
the Ether Instrumental, got hit with another one
and has yet to respond. And I really
do not, I really hate the logic
of, oh, she's too big to respond.
Like I said, LL got at
Cannabis when LL was a superstar in movies,
and Cannabis didn't even have an album out.
Ja Rule, when he was multi-platinum, got at 50 when 50 was just on the mixtape circuit.
Jay-Z got at Mino from Harlem World.
Does anybody remember Mino from Harlem World?
He got at him, he got at Joe Button, he got at...
Like, stop it, man.
Like, that's the stupid logic that, oh, you're too big to respond.
No.
Yeah, you're right.
Jay went at everybody.
He went at Mase.
And like you said, Jay went at everybody.
But you brought up an excellent point, Envy.
If Nicki hadn't have thrown shots at Remy the week before, then I'd be like, all right.
But she didn't want that action.
She didn't want the action.
But she wanted action.
You say you want action.
Now you got action.
Now you got to prove that you a rapper.
Rapper's rap, Nicki Minaj.
Yeah, she wanted that action.
She want that action.
I want that same energy, Nicki, that you had in the Gucci Mane Make Love record, that you a rapper. Rapper's rap, Nicki Minaj. Yeah, she wanted that action. She want that action. I want that same
energy, Nicki, that you had in the Gucci
Man Make Love record, that you had in the
Jason Derulo Swallow record. If all
these bitches is your sons, Nicki,
prove it. Okay?
Period. Alright, we got rumors coming up.
Yes, we are going to talk about somebody
who has recently been
accused of rape.
Also, we will be discussing a sex tape that has been released.
And Nicki Minaj's brother, what is he trying to do now
to the alleged rape victim that he's being charged with having,
I guess, sexually assaulted?
Okay.
All right.
We'll get into all that when we come back.
It's The Breakfast Club.
Good morning.
The Breakfast Club.
Listen up. It's just in. The Breakfast Club. Listen up.
It's just in.
All the gossip.
Gossip.
The Rumor Report.
Gossip.
With Angela Yee.
It's the Rumor Report.
The Breakfast Club.
Well, Nicki Minaj's brother, Jelani Mirage, his child rape case, they have more information.
He was offered a plea deal after his DNA matched semen found on the alleged victim's clothing,
but he did refuse to take that plea deal,
so they have filed several motions to try to throw out that top charge.
And they also want to suppress evidence found at his house,
and they want to reveal the sexual history of the 12-year-old girl who he allegedly sexually assaulted.
Now, according to Jelani Mirage's lawyer, David Schwartz, he said,
we believe the truth will come out. The complaining witness in the case and others have a real motive in this
case to lie. This never occurred and Jelani is completely innocent. As far as wanting to know
about the girl's sex life, they said the bottom line is we believe we will have a full defense
of any medical evidence in this case of a sexual nature. Listen, all I know is that is just
reminding me to tell y'all, don't let anything distract you from the fact that Nicki Minaj got bodied over the Eats instrumental, got hit with another one, and has yet to respond.
All right.
Okay.
Now, in the meantime, there is a sex tape that may be coming out in its entirety soon.
There's some snippets now and some pictures.
And that sex tape features Rick Ross's ex-fiancee, Lyra Galore.
Now, this was posted on Famulus.
They're saying at first that it was Lyra Galore with Lance
Stevenson, but now they're saying that Lyra
Galore's sex tape is with a different person and
that there are two sex tapes with Lance Stevenson
with different women. So, I don't
know what's going on, but Lyra Galore responded
via Twitter. She said, y'all never
seen nobody SD before?
What's SD? Everybody Let's Relax.
Oh. Perform Fallatio.
Is she naked on it?
Yes.
I wouldn't mind seeing that.
You want to see the pictures?
Yes, I would like to, actually.
All right, I got you.
Shout out to Fameless.
They get everything new.
That Uncle Charlotte blood keep flowing this morning.
What you got for me?
All right, too short is the suspect in a rape case.
Now, there is a victim.
And I actually had seen this story quite some time ago.
It's a woman that was signed to him.
They're just trying to say that he took advantage of her.
She was a virgin when she met him.
She says on November 1st, she was at an L.A. residence with Too Short when he allegedly sexually attacked her.
She told the cops that she's a virgin.
And she said that her provocative video should not suggest that she gave any form of consent.
So she did go to the cops about a month after the alleged incident.
Now, according to Too Short, he's
saying he never had any sexual contact
with the victim. She was on his record
label. He dropped her, and that's when she
came up with these allegations. Jesus Christ,
you ain't got nothing good? You ain't got nothing light this
morning? You got two rapes, a child molestation,
and a sex tape? I got
three good things for you real quick.
Go, go, go. Dave Chappelle
Netflix special. Boom, drop one of those
bombs, Dave Chappelle. There's a premiere date for that
March 21st. Here's a little sneak peek.
I know I've been gone
for a very long time.
If Martin Luther King had a sneaky deal,
we'd still be on the back of the bus.
I've met O.J. Simpson on four different occasions.
We like to sing Bigfoot riding
a unicorn. I'm black, but I'm also
Dave Chappelle. Time for the Care Bear Show! I can't wait.
I can't wait.
I want to see that.
Yeah, so we are really looking forward to seeing that.
All right, also Lil Wayne has announced tour dates.
He's doing his Closer to You tour.
That's Closer with a K, of course.
And that's going to kick off April 14th in Louisiana.
And that's a 12-city tour.
So that's going to be available.
That's available now if you want to get tickets on Ticketmaster.
And Tiana Taylor has launched her online workout series, Fade to Fit.
Smart.
Drop on the clues box for Tiana Taylor, damn it.
Very smart.
It's a 90-day program.
It has a workout calendar, dance routines, tailored meal plans that Tiana Taylor personally
selects for you.
I thought Tiana said she don't work out, though.
She does now.
Oh. You know. And there you have it work out, though. She does now. Oh.
You know.
And there you have it.
See, now there was some good things.
Now, wait a minute.
We ended on a high.
Just tell the women out there,
if they do this 90-day plan,
it's still not going to look like...
It's still not going to look like Tiana Taylor.
Why not?
Maybe you can.
Let's be honest.
You might get close.
You get close, but not...
Listen, the plan is,
if that's what she did,
maybe you can.
Don't tell...
Why are y'all trying to make it negative
before they even start?
You know what? You're right. I mean, if they trying to make it negative before they even start? You know what?
You're right.
I mean, if they stick to the plan, if they work out, stick to the male plan, they could
look like Tiana Taylor.
Anything is possible.
Anything is possible in 90 days.
It depends on where you start.
It depends on where you start.
But right now, we just need to keep in mind to not let any of this distract you from the
fact that Nicki Minaj got bodied over the ETH instrumental, got hit with another
one, and has yet to respond. Okay?
And you can watch
my TV show tonight on MTV2 on Common
Sense. Okay? 11.30pm.
Alright. Yes. Alright.
Now, of course, March is Women's History
Month. Of course. So when we come back,
I'm gonna do a mix with all my
female MCs. Alright.
And by the way, don't forget, Wednesday is a day without a woman.
So that's our day of solidarity for all the women that came after the Women's March.
So ladies, get ready for that.
So you're not coming to work?
It's a day without a woman.
Charlamagne, you coming?
I'm going to think about it.
It depends how I feel that day.
Half a day.
I may feel like a woman on that day.
Half a day. On that day, I may feel like a woman on that day. Half a day.
On that day,
I may feel like a woman.
Oh, my goodness.
All right.
Had enough of this country?
Ever dreamt about
starting your own?
I planted the flag.
This is mine.
I own this.
It's surprisingly easy.
55 gallons of water,
500 pounds of concrete.
Or maybe not.
No country
willingly gives up
their territory.
Oh, my God.
What is that?
Bullets.
