and uh we'll see y'all in the new year happy holidays it's the breakfast club good morning
wake up wake up wake your ass this is your time to get it off your chest
whether you're mad or blessed we want to hear from you on The Breakfast Club. Hello, who's this?
Yo, what up, what up? This is Ali Cab from Brooklyn, what up?
What up, brother? Get it off your chest.
Oh, man. I heard y'all talking about this subject like a couple weeks ago.
What's the subject?
I just want to say, the subject is basically I'm having sex with my cousin.
Oh, okay.
First cousin, second cousin, third cousin.
Huh?
Oh, I thought you were making a confession.
First cousin, first cousin.
First of all, I want to say good morning to you guys, basically.
I'm sorry about that.
But, yeah, I just want to say good morning.
I don't know if I want to say good morning back yet.
I got to hit a store.
No, we've been having sex since we were in our teens.
And still doing it now.
First cousin?
First cousin, yeah.
Yeah.
How does the rest of the family feel about that?
Nobody knows about it.
Nobody knows.
Just me and her.
And that's it.
First cousins is incest, bro. That's kind of crazy and uh first first cousins is incest bro that's kind of crazy
first cousins is incest you know there's an approximately two to three percent chance
that your child will be born with a birth defect genetic syndrome or some type of disability
yeah kind of figure that but um there's no chance that we're going to have children. That's a no-no.
Well, if you guys are having sex, there is a chance.
Yeah.
And wouldn't that be like your second cousin?
Third cousin?
Wouldn't your child be like your cousin, too?
Wouldn't your child be related to y'all in some way?
Yeah, but no, there's no possibility of having children, no doubt.
There's no doubt about that.
It's just, you know, I'm just...
What are you calling us this morning for, sir?
What are you trying to tell us, sir?
What are you saying?
I just want to know what you hope to gain from this conversation.
I don't know what to gain from it.
I don't know, you know, what to think or anything.
I'm just saying.
Okay.
I'm not here to judge you, brother.
Yeah, yeah.
I'm not here to judge you at all.
That's what you...
That's what makes you happy in life, you know?
And every time you have sex as a family reunion, do your thing.
Are you dating anyone else, though?
No, but she is married.
All right.
Oh, my God.
That's enough.
Hey, guys.
Family reunion.
This is who I'm screwing.
This is who I'm screwing.
Hello, who's this?
Hello, this is Whitney from Hampton
Hey, H-U-7-5-7
Good morning, get it off your chest
I gotta say it
Because my best friend
She got a kid that's in elementary school
And that's, you know, that's fine and dandy
And I'm an educator
So I'm a teacher
And so her daughter had a homework assignment
About Columbus And I understand, you know So I'm a teacher. And so her daughter had a homework assignment about Columbus.
And I understand, you know, we all don't agree on what Columbus did.
We feel like he just stole the land and did this.
Ain't no feel like he did. Columbus was a murderous tyrant.
He was an absolutely horrible person. But guess what?
As a teacher, we don't choose the curriculum.
We don't get to choose what homework
assignments they do so i told her i said listen you let her do the homework assignment let let
her hear what they got to say whatever and when she come home i said that's on you to go ahead
and let her know what the truth is that's not for them to teach that she should never do that
if it's a lie yeah and if they if they ask y'all to teach about Christopher Columbus in school,
why can't you just tell the truth?
Why can't you pose the question, why do we even celebrate Columbus Day?
And then, you know, explain to the kids why he was a murderer, a tyrant, and scoundrel.
Why can't you tell the truth about Columbus?
I completely agree.
But guess what?
We're not teaching Columbus Day.
We consider it to be indigenous day. And what we're not teaching columbus day we consider it to be
indigenous day and we still not we still not teaching about that and that really bothers me
because if we all celebrate a holiday and y'all gonna change the name of a holiday
and y'all gonna say that we you know we support it and stuff like that with all that being said
it's like girl come on like let just, we just got to get your kids
to do your homework assignments.
It's bad enough
we got kids out here failing
and doing the most
because parents don't want
to do the job,
but it's bad enough.
Like, come on now.
We need these kids to succeed.
We really do.
Yes, I'm able.
I'm tired of calling parents
because children are failing
because they choose not
to do their homework assignments
because, oh, my mama said I ain't have to do
this homework assignment. Well, it's not your mama's choice
because it's not your mama's choice if you gotta
graduate or not. You gotta graduate.
True. One day somebody's
gonna make a miniseries
or a movie about Christopher Columbus
and it's gonna be more disturbing
than the Jeffrey Dahmer miniseries.
Well, get it off your chest. The Breakfast Club.
Good morning. The Breakfast Club, good morning.
The Breakfast Club.
Wake up, wake up.
Wake your ass up. This is your time to get it off your chest.
Whether you're mad or blessed,
we want to hear from you on The Breakfast Club.
Hello, who's this?
This is Drop, Drop, Drop, Drop, Drop, Drop, Drop, Drop.
Why they call you Drop Top? Hello, who's this? This is Drop, Drop, Drop, Drop, Drop, Drop, Drop, Drop, Drop.
Why they call you Drop Top?
Hey, you answered that the last time I was on your show.
Oh, yeah, yeah.
You're the uncircumcised brother.
All right.
What's up, man?
Get off your chest, bro.
Oh, yeah.
What I'm getting off of my chest is every time Angel Lee asks me to sing one of my songs,
y'all keep interrupting me. Well, you don't have to worry about that no more because Angel Lee asks me to sing one of my songs, y'all keep interrupting me.
Well, you don't have to worry about that no more because Angel Lee has her own show now called Way Up With Angel Lee that starts in January.
She's no longer here on The Breakfast Club, so you can call her and sing to her.
That's right.
You can call at 10 a.m. and sing to her, brother.
Oh, yeah?
Is it the same number?
Yep.
Yep, starting in January.
Oh, starting in January?
So she ain't even on your show anymore?
No, she's not. Yeah, well, starting in January. Oh, starting in January? So she ain't even on your show anymore? No, she's not.
Yeah, well, that's cool.
Her seat looked emptier than when Envy walked out on Diz and Mera.
Oh, yeah.
Yeah.
But hey, man, they also said that y'all been playing my one song like it's a broken record.
That the one that's going, I listen to my Jules.
That's me.
They said y'all been playing me like six weeks now. That was a lie.
We never played you before in our life, bro. He said the what?
The George commercial. Whenever I sing your song.
Whenever I sing the song. Oh, you mean it must
be a promo? No, that's not about
right. We do rerun the same promo
over and over and over and over.
Yeah, that's what I'm saying.
I didn't say y'all want me to do
the part two? No.
The second verse? No. Alright, saying, y'all want me to do the part two? No. The second verse?
No.
All right.
Catch y'all's ass because I'm about to touch out.
And this is supposed to be a number one.
We're not going to make y'all look bad.
All right.
We wish you the best, sir.
We wish you the best.
Call at 10 a.m.
All right.
10 a.m. for sure.
In January.
January.
All right.
Why was this?
Yo, good morning.
Good morning, DJ.
And me and Charlamagne. How y'all doing? Gentlemen, this morning, good morning DJ Envy and Charlamagne
How y'all doing?
Gentlemen, this is Coach Davis
How's everything?
Coach Davis, what's happening brother?
What's good gentlemen?
And listen man
You know, I was sitting here listening to y'all talk about
Deion Sanders
Y'all talk about how Envy got finessed by his future son-in-law
I'm not saying Deion got finessed
But that was one hell of a move and one hell of a bet that AD did
to get him signed and know he going to get that money later.
But, you know, I think it's more of an indictment on the HBCUs.
You understand what I'm saying?
I agree.
What did I just say?
You just heard what I said.
Absolutely.
And I say this, right, Because if this AD can say,
yo, I'm going to sign this dude
on the fact that I know
I'm going to get this money,
what are the ADs doing in
these HBCUs? And what are
the commissioners of the SWAC
and the MEAC doing? They're supposed
to be able to go out and get the funds,
go out and bring their TV contracts.
What are they doing
to uphold their
conference? But I'll give you one
last thought. And Envy, you know,
this is not to come down on you, right?
But you
do a lot for the HBCUs,
right, brother? Yes, sir. And
homecoming is every year,
just like Christmas, right? Yep.
So everybody goes down to homecoming and reps their school like they rep their hood.
Right.
And my question is, how is that turning over into dollars, right?
Are we cutting checks?
Is people cutting checks?
Or are we just going to a party?
Well, for the schools, the schools that I go to, yeah, it is a little bit of both.
So absolutely positively, when people go and attend a game, that money goes to the school.
They have banquets where you have to actually pay to come in that supports the school.
There are a lot of events outside of just partying for homecoming.
Homecoming is just known for partying, but there's other events based around in different schools that's not just partying that is to help the school raise money.
So that is absolutely positive.
Absolutely.
And I just want to ask just one question, right?
Because, you know, when we talk about endowments like Harvard University
and Yale and Princeton, these endowments are in the billions.
Correct.
Yeah, I mean, listen, we all know HBCUs are chronically underfunded.
And like I said yesterday,
and I keep saying,
it's because of state underinvestment,
low alumni contributions,
and low endowments.
What have you done for HBCU lately?
I don't want to hear no slander at Deion Sanders
if you have not contributed financially
to a HBCU ever
or in a very long time.
And I will also say this,
I agree with you a thousand percent, but I know a lot of these schools like your Harvard
or your Yale's, they have a lot of alumni that is generational wealth.
That's generation of millions of dollars that's passed down to their kids and their
grandkids and their great grandkids.
And a lot of us are, you know, first time, you know, millionaires, first time making
money.
So it's a lot harder.
And what you said is true because those Hbcus have lower alumni contributions that are related
to lower black incomes and black wealth right and i think one of those reasons because y'all
don't know the difference between 1.2 and 29.5 well get it off your chest the breakfast club
good morning man it's crazy because i maybe because where I'm from. I know it's kind of weird. Don't blame this on Jacksonville.
Jacksonville said do not blame this on them.
I like wearing socks in the pool.
I've been doing that since I was young.
I've been doing it.
I got nice feet, though.
I got pretty feet.
I don't believe you.
Your feet trash?
Nah.
I get manicures and pedicures.
I do, too.
You get the buff?
I get jail.
Oh, you get jail?
Yeah, I get jail. Let me see. Yeah, I get jail. I told you guys. You do get jail. I didn't see his feet. You get the buff? I get jail. Oh, you get jail? Yeah, I get jail.
Let me see.
Yeah, I get jail.
You do get jail.
I didn't see his feet.
I said, what in the fuck?
Yeah, I get jail.
So wait, socks are comfortable in the water for you?
No, I just feel kind of good.
I don't like my feet in the water like that.
You take a shower with socks on too?
No, no, no.
So you're not making no sense.
You say you don't like your feet in the water.
Yeah, like in the pool.
The pool, nah.
I don't know.
I be feeling weird a little bit.
Wait, wait. And you have sex, do you take your socks off? No, no, no. I don't like your feet in the water yeah like in the pool the pool now i don't know i'd be feeling weird a little bit wait when you have sex do you take your socks off
oh no no no i don't take them off no you ashamed of your feet
no yeah you are it's okay well let's show the streets yk osiris you're gonna show your feet
you gotta show the streets your feet now my feet nice man i'm playing we don't believe you
Do you have bad luck when it comes to gambling cuz every time we see you online you lose in the bed man You know, you know so crazy man. That's why I got to give me a good PR
Man, I be taking a lot of people money
They don't they don't be saying it though like for real like they you know
like I'll be making bets but they give what they want to give just turn this on
why can't just turn it on when you win don't they always do they want to do it
but I'll be winning like I'll be winning but hey you know they find some way to
put it out there you're like oh sorry I got a money to it but but you know the problem is that sometimes they say you don't pay to that's
Money on the woman again go good on who said he don't pay you remember I'm with Drake remember you have to sing for Drake
No, but Drake Drake my brother though like that's that's my boy
So it's like when we bet and gamble eyes is really about no money is really about this fun
We better hunt down on the shot, but we like,000 a shot. But it's like brother love.
You know, that's my boy.
You said $100,000?
Yeah, we bet like $30,000, $40,000.
We bet like $100,000 a game.
But with no intention of either one of you paying each other.
No, it's not about the money.
So then why bet money?
That's ass betting.
I don't know.
It just be brother joke.
You also can't play
with Drake like that
because Drake money
is long.
You know what I'm saying?
I'd be like,
bail $100,000.
He'd be like,
all right, bet.
And then I'd be like,
you'd just be saying it.
I'd be like, yeah.
I'm hoping I win.
So you said Drake's your brother.
We heard you sing
in his kitchen
when you lost the bet one time.
Yeah, I had to do that.
We saw you in his pool
with socks on.
We saw you in his pool
with socks on.
We saw you on his plane.
How'd that relationship started?
How y'all close, close?
Man, I'm still a big Drake fan.
Even before Way, just who I inspired.
He inspired me a lot.
It's crazy.
He just understand the game, man.
When I first met him is when I first started.
We weren't really close like that,
but he knew who I was.
But he started to know that,
like,
started to see the person I was
when I came around him.
And I kept seeing him,
kept seeing him.
Everywhere he go at,
I go at.
So,
he just kept seeing my face.
So,
you was stalking Drake?
I wasn't really stalking,
just like,
you know,
whatever I said I wanted to do,
I had to do it.
So,
I just know if he kept seeing my face, eventually, you're going to be like, you know, and I got good wanted to do, I had to do it. So I just know if he kept seeing my face,
eventually he gonna be like,
you know,
and I got good personality.
His personality is crazy.
Like,
he's a good,
genuine person.
He likes to have fun.
Yeah,
he likes to have fun.
He's a fun person to be around.
So,
you know,
we got the connection and,
you know,
he mess with me hard.
And he good people,
man,
for real.
he just,
he just,
he shows me like,
and it teaches me a lot.
You know what I mean?
And it's me being around him, his lifestyle, how he live, how he shows me like and it teaches me a lot You know me and it's me being around him his lifestyle how he live my
Care his stuff is incredible and nobody can't like can't tell me nothing else about it as he done the verse for you yet
For sure but it's not about music though. You guys make a bet for that like I did this version show
Yeah, it's not about music. I never you gotta make a bet for that. Like, this verse. For sure, yeah. There's nothing about music with him. I never ask him
about no music.
Like,
never.
Really?
No,
I never ask him about,
because he's not.
Because you never want
people to feel that pressure
like I'm around
and I'm trying to get a verse.
Nah,
it's not never about that
with Burr.
Like,
Burr's really like,
genuine.
Like,
it's really about fun
when I come around here.
Like,
like even him
inviting me on his plane
is,
that's insane.
Like,
Where'd y'all go?
We went to LA.
Okay.
From Toronto.
It was lit and,
you know, he said, come on. And it was lit and you know said come on and it was
lit he just tested positive for covid too i saw you was with him oh yeah i just got tested
well what do you bring to the table why kate when it comes to drink it's like a party right
you gotta bring something what do you bring fun like personality this is the fun this being being
funny like when you saw the saw the video of me um i'm wearing socks it just this is the fun. This being funny. Like, when you saw the video of me wearing socks.
Stuff like that.
It's just, I be me.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
I don't be scared to be me.
And I feel like that's what he loves about me the most is that, you know, I'm a fun.
I remind him like a little brother.
You know what I mean?
Like, you know, like one of the cousins that he had before.
You know what I mean?
Stuff like that.
So, I feel like he just.
I can see that.
All right, we got more with Y.K. Osiris when we come back.
Don't move.
It's The Breakfast Club.
Good morning.

itself was a secret, and the time had suddenly come to share that past with your child. These
are just a few of the powerful and profound questions we'll be asking on our 11th season
of Family Secrets. Some of you have been with us since season one, and others are just tuning in.
Whatever the case, and wherever you are, thank you for being part of our Family Secrets family,

Morning everybody, it's DJ Envy, Angela Yee, Charlamagne Tha Guy.
We are The Breakfast Club. We're still kicking it with YK Osiris, R&B singer. Charlamagne?
Is the industry everything you thought it was going to be?
For sure not. For you to be be a boss it's like playing with cards
that you don't know what you're dealing with so it's like you gotta just stick with it and strive
you know i mean if you if you know what you're dealing with guess what you gotta deal with it
what comes with being a boss you gotta toughen up and don't cry and there's a lot of people that
and i know like you and dj and being miss angela miss angela is like i know y'all come in every
morning so it's like you gotta deal with it, whatever it comes with.
So that's what you got to do with life.
Like, whatever it comes with, you got to do it.
Stick up, pick your head up, and strive.
But I don't say toughen up and don't cry.
I be like, sometimes I got to cry.
You definitely got to cry.
Sometimes.
Yeah, definitely.
Sometimes.
You be crying sometimes?
Hell yeah, especially in therapy.
Me crying, my guy down by the...
I got to go to therapy. I don't my guy. For real, bro, bro, bro.
I gotta go to therapy.
I don't believe in that therapy stuff, but... Try it.
I know I wanna try it,
but I just don't believe in it.
I don't believe in it,
but it's cool, though.
Yeah, I mean, but what you said about,
you know, just expressing yourself,
how you like to laugh.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Everybody heals differently.
Like, sometimes sitting down
and talking to somebody
ain't the best thing for you.
You know what I mean?
Yeah, but I feel like
me talking to somebody, like, you give me all that information.
I'm like, man, I got to see it.
What if I see this man in the restaurant, man?
What if I see this man with one of my friends, man?
But they're not allowed to tell you.
They're not going to tell your business, though.
These are licensed professionals.
Man, in the end, it don't mean nothing, man.
Listen, you done had an STD before, right?
What?
Hell no. You ain't never had an STD? Never in my life. Well, you've been to a doctor for something. For sure, yeah. license don't mean nothing man like listen you don't have an std before right what hell no
the doctor is not gonna reveal your medical records just like a therapist not gonna reveal
your your records when you go in there and talk to them oh okay yeah yeah yeah they got to keep
all that confidence i want to try though i heard i heard a lot about it let me ask you a question
when you went six times platinum did you feel like. When you went six times platinum, did you feel like, all right, I'm six times platinum.
I have to look like I'm six times platinum.
Meaning, I got to look like I'm getting all this money, even though you might not have been.
Yeah, right.
For sure.
Yeah.
Is that something that messed you up too?
No.
No, not really.
Not really.
Because I've always been like that before Worthy became mine.
I've always been like, if you don't got it, act like you got it. You know what like you got it yeah if you said act like you happy do you ever overspend
on the one time you lost your airing I think like $60,000 lost it $300,000 one
time they broke into your car and stole your stuff yeah yeah and he was like I'm
just gonna get a Hyundai so do you ever feel like financially you overspent on
certain things yeah for sure man man when man We broke so got there quick man. Like I'm back there. Oh my like three years like two and a half
Got three years ago. Well worth it came out man. I blew that money. So got the fans man. How did you buy?
I gave my mama like
250 and then by the time you know it taxes exactly I said cause I ain't know like the taxes come out now
they come out
they come out
during that year
by the time you know
my kind of said
this how much you owe
I said
how much did you owe
I think I was like
like 190
it's just
190,000
yeah something like that
but it was crazy
I like
the money went so quick
bro
it like
when you don't have it
it's like
when you get it
your mindset
change so many things
you start buying so much things how did you change it I know one time he was
buying every burn jacket every Louis Vuitton I spent like 300,000 clothes
man that's so stupid that's stupid man like I like and you was spending crazy
money on a haircut that's another thing I remember from you. I still do it now. I get a haircut every three days.
How much was it?
I would spend
one time 500.
But now I spend like
250.
Ain't no way in hell.
Remember when he had
the braids,
the cornrows?
That was fake.
That was fake.
Drake put you
onto that plug.
Nah, he ain't got nothing.
He had nothing to do with that.
Drake braids ain't real.
Tell the truth.
Jimmy Butler did it too, right?
He's just real. Tell the truth, Joaquin. Nah, nah. Nah, his junk is definitely real. He ain't got nothing to do with that. Drake Brady ain't real. Tell the truth, YK. Jimmy Butler didn't do it, right? Nah, nah, he's just real.
Tell the truth, YK.
Nah, nah.
Nah, his junk is definitely real.
You ran your fingers through his head?
What?
How you know that he's real?
This man should have been crazy, man.
What you mean?
What's the craziest rumor you heard about yourself in this industry so far?
The craziest rumor?
Yeah.
I don't know about the rumors.
What rumors, man?
What?
Nah, I ain't going to say that.
I heard about that, though. But I ain't about to say that. What? I ain't about to say that. You and Diddy? You and Diddy? Yeah. Yeah,'t know about the room. What room was that? What? Nah, I ain't gonna say that. I heard about that, though, but I ain't about to say that.
What?
I ain't about to say that.
You and Diddy?
You and Diddy?
Yeah.
Yeah, you and Diddy.
You and Diddy what?
They said that he was Diddy's boy toy.
What?
I was in Jamaica with him.
Oh, I see it now.
See?
I was in Jamaica with him.
Why can't Osiris in Jamaica with his alleged boo Diddy?
See?
Can you talk about Diddy's new boy toy?
Why can't Osiris? Why you did this to Diddy man's messed up man no I even bring that up when you heard it
what did you say to yourself could Because I know your people. I didn't worry about it. But your partners in Jacksonville are like, bro, what's up?
Because they already think the industry is a certain way.
Definitely Duval.
Nah, nah, nah.
Like you said, he ain't nobody.
I ain't never heard nothing like that.
A lot of people don't care about it.
They ain't not be.
Did you laugh or were you?
I was laughing.
Yeah.
Was you in Jamaica with Diddy, though?
He said yeah.
No.
Oh, okay, okay, okay.
I was with a shawty. All right, but Diddy was there. No, he was a whole lot different. Oh, okay, okay, okay. I was with a shawty.
All right, but Diddy was there?
No, he was a whole lot different.
Oh, so they just made this up?
Yeah, they made it up, yeah.
Oh, Lord have mercy.
He was in a whole lot of different area.
Have you ever met Diddy?
Yeah.
Okay, did he ask you to party?
Party?
Party?
Why won't you party with me for your birthday, man?
We partied for my birthday before.
You came to my party.
No, but man, you ain't never really partied.
You know what I'm saying?
Don't say that.
He put his fantasies on you.
You crazy, man.
No, man.
Every time I want to do that, man, it's the vibe.
That motherfucker did it by me.
Stop it.
Excuse me, guys.
That's stupid.
YK, that's a stupid one.
I ain't going to lie.
That's a stupid rumor.
But you ain't made it until you got that one. Envy stupid. YK, that's a stupid one. I ain't gonna lie. That's a stupid rumor. But you ain't made it
until you got that one.
Envy got it before.
What?
Don't say like that.
Oh, yeah.
Some random dude on YouTube.
His name was Drew?
His name was Glitter.
No, I ain't never met him before.
His name was Glitter.
His name was Glitter.
And he said that Charlamagne
paid for his bus ride
from wherever D.C.
to Charlamagne's house.
He probably did for real.
No, I ain't never did.
You probably ain't tell him nothing. No. If I'm gonna do it I'm gonna do it oh you're gonna go all the way with it I'm gonna
do Diddy you gotta do somebody I can put you on what are you talking about
we were having a serious conversation
I want to be on Drake's plane I care. We're not about it. We're not about it. What are we about?
I want to be on Drake's plane.
I don't care if you're going to do it.
All right.
It's YK Osiris.
It's the Breakfast Club.
Good morning.
It's topic time.
Pick up the phone, baby.
Call 800-585-1051 to join in to the discussion with The Breakfast Club.
Let's talk about it.
Morning everybody, it's DJ Envy, Angela Yee, Charlamagne Tha Guy.
We are The Breakfast Club.
Now if you just join us, we're talking about a post I seen Nelly put up over the weekend.
Nelly said, I'm done dating these hood itches with kids.
One of these badass little mother effers wore my shoes to school so we're asking 800-585-1051 we're asking horror stories of dating somebody with kids now
um what's the question well you want to know if there's any horror stories i mean oh are there
any situations now before i'm not gonna know i don't have any what the hell's wrong with you
what's wrong with this guy?
What about you?
You ever dated a guy with kids?
Yeah, most of the problems really came from the mom.
I had one where she broke the windshield of my car while I was in class.
Then he had another kid on the way, but I didn't know because he told me that his baby mom was pregnant by his brother.
So what did she say when she broke the windshield of the car?
You're not his mama?
Are you not her mama?
No, I'm saying it wasn't the kid that was the problem.
It was... Oh, I know.
The baby mama.
So the baby mama busts the window and says, you're not the mama?
No, it wasn't that.
She just was jealous.
So, I mean, it was more dealing with the fact that they had a baby mom than the fact that
they had a kid.
Yeah.
You know, the kids were fine.
I can deal with that.
And then I think as I got older, my boyfriend doesn't have kids, but like dating.
I've always had dated people with older kids that were like, you know, so it wasn't that bad. And it wasn't like they ever lived with them because usually when you date a guy like normally they don't have full custody.
I think normally the mother does.
So it wasn't as bad.
So but the worst is really just dealing with the mom.
I would think that you should
try to get in good
with the moms, though.
Only because, like,
if the kid,
if you're real close to the kid
and the kid loves you,
then the kid is going home
telling the mom how great you are.
That's only going to infuriate
the mom more.
Especially when she's already jealous.
And the other thing
that's kind of hard
is when you break up with somebody
and if you're close with their kid,
you feel kind of bad.
Yeah, because now I got to
break up with all of y'all.
Yeah.
Now the kid is used to you.
You done got them some presents for the holidays.
They're like, where's Angela?
What did F.N.E.K. Williams say?
F them kids.
I don't agree with that.
Hello, who's this?
This is Jay from Florida.
Jay, what's up, brother?
What's happening, DJ?
You got a horror story for us, bro?
Brother, let me tell you about it.
So I was dating an old buddy, right?
You know, we was engaged.
And then her son, 13, decided he wanted to let his grades slip towards the end of school.
So I counseled him about it.
He gets mad, runs and tells his mom.
She calls the police.
We get a whole altercation.
Wait, what?
How did this come to calling the police?
I'm confused.
What did you do to that boy?
He said I quote unquote put his hands on him
you're not his daddy you keep your goddamn hands to yourself you sure you did okay
did you grab him by the arm or something i wish i feel i did no you don't so you ain't
touching him at all you ain't did nothing man this boy lies i believe you i absolutely believe
you i do all right well did you get in trouble what was the charge oh no i ain't go to jail I believe you. I absolutely believe you. I do. All right.
Did you get in trouble?
What was the charge?
No, I didn't go to jail.
Oh, okay, okay, okay.
So what happened?
The police just came and...
Oh, we caught off the whole engagement.
Okay.
It's over.
Damn.
I'm not mad at you.
Damn it, man.
I wonder how she feels about that.
I wonder how she feels towards her actual child.
Like, you know what I mean?
I don't know.
Did she ever take it out on him?
How could I have you?
How could I have a brother for you?
Goodness gracious.
Hello, who's this?
Hey, this is Jay out of Brooklyn, man.
Jay, what's up, bro?
Sound like you got a horror story, brother.
Ah, listen.
I was getting this chick.
I had a 22-year-old daughter.
Stole my car and wrecked it.
Wow.
What?
Listen. Listen, man.
It was a nice car, too.
It was a nice Acura.
I bet it was.
What did you do?
Well, listen, she was trying to get me to bail her out because she got arrested.
Did you bail her out?
Actually, you know, no, I ended our relationship.
Ended it.
Damn, it's over?
Did she at least have insurance, sir?
No, no. Damn, so you had to come she at least have insurance, sir?
No, no.
Damn, so you had to come out of pocket?
Yeah, who paid for the car?
I took the L.
I took the L and all of it.
Damn. Damn, King.
Sorry for you, brother.
Hey, I love you guys, man.
Love you too, black man.
Hello, who's this?
Hello?
Hey, what's up, bro?
What's going on?
What's going on, DJ Envy?
We're talking horror stories of dating somebody with kids, bro.
Talk to us.
I had a horror story with this kid, a woman and her kid.
And I used to let them spend the night over at my crib.
And the kid peed all over my couch.
She was like nine years old.
That's not a horror story, bro.
That's just a kid who hasn't. That's just a kid who hasn't...
That's just a kid who's nine years old,
probably had a dream.
He was peeing.
You know how we all used to have him dream
he was peeing when he was younger?
She didn't pee in the bed.
I got a five-year-old.
Because she probably had a diaper on.
No, man.
Five-year-old, you're not peeing no more.
Kids make mistakes, though.
Accidents.
She said, Daddy, I gotta pee.
She let me know.
So what happened after you confronted him about it or did you?
Damn.
Throw the whole couch away.
Special breakfast orders. My kids just roll with anything. Special breakfast orders?
He wants turkey bacon with egg whites.
I'm not mad at that.
Because he used to.
His mom probably be catering to him as she should.
My kids don't have those special orders.
They just take cereal.
I'm spending double orders.
I got to get her order, his order, my order.
What's wrong with that?
You sleeping with his mom, bro.
You going inside the vagina he came from.
That's the least you can do
is order the man some goddamn egg whites.
That's how it go down.
Really, I have to do it like that?
Yes.
What's wrong with turkey bacon and egg whites?
That's got nothing crazy.
Are y'all still together?
That's extra.
That's extra.
You get pork bacon.
Pork bacon.
See, that man want to eat healthy and you mad at him. Are y'all still together? Nah, nah, it's extra. That's extra. You get pork bacon. Pork bacon. See, that man want to eat healthy, and you mad at him.
Are y'all still together?
Nah, nah, it's over.
See, because you're...
Why you acting like you never wet the bed, bro?
You never wet the bed.
Not the couch.
Nah, nah, not the couch.
But you wet...
Have you ever wet the bed is what I'm saying.
Probably when I was like five years old.
The only reason the man wet the couch is because you didn't have extra guest room for him to be in.
Yeah, goodbye, man.
Because this is... It's nine. You shouldn't judge this little nine-year-old for pe man wet the couch is because you didn't have extra guest room for him to be in. Goodbye, man. Because this is wrong.
It's nine.
You shouldn't judge this little nine-year-old for peeing on the couch.
We all did that when we was kids.
This nine-year-old man wet the couch.
When was the last time you peed the bed?
I peed the bed in my adulthood.
Not recently, but I definitely did it in like my 20s, 30s.
I did it like a year ago.
Yeah, you had a dream.
You have the dream that you peeing in a toilet or something and you peeing yourself.
I definitely did it like a year ago.
Absolutely.
I peed right on here on the back. But hey.
I ain't never did all that.
Oh my gosh.
I never did that.
All over the bed.
TMI.
I never did that.
I woke up like, why is this so wet?
Oops.
I never did that.
Jesus Christ.
800-585-1051.
We're talking horror stories of dating somebody with kids.
It's The Breakfast Club.
Good morning.
The Breakfast Club.
You know, my youngest son.
Your clone.
Yeah, my clone.
He's like my twin.
But he always wanted to be on stage since he was three years old.
Every time he would be on tour, he would just be mesmerized by the stage
and want to get on and talk on the mic to the people.
So he came out, and when he said he wanted to be a rapper,
I said, well, you got to do it on your own.
So he found his own distribution, started grinding.
Everybody thought that I was helping him.
You know what I'm saying?
And so, you know, they was definitely giving him like, you know, making him work for what he just accomplished.
You know what I'm saying?
Which was what he had to do.
He had to give him, you know, an undeniable hater-proof record.
He got one.
And he got one with Kodak Black.
You know what I'm saying?
Can't Stop, Won't Stop Bad Boy.
He's on the BET Awards tonight performing it.
That's right.
And I'm so proud of him because I had nothing to do with it.
I didn't call BET.
I didn't call nobody and ask him.
You know, I did ask a couple of DJs since me and him are both on the charts if he if they can you know saying support the
Records his family, but that's after he had to hit you know I'm saying besides that he got it on his own
And I want to make that clear to people because they definitely made him work for and he did the work and congratulations
We the first father and son duo to be on the top ten
Wow competition in the house, so is that competition in the house now don't like wait Let's give it a go congratulations we the first father and son duo to be on the top ten and that's
dangerous territory for him because it's like you sample crush on you man you're
saying the can't stop won't stop which is a legendary phrase yeah that could be
very big shoes to fill but yeah he seems to have done his job yeah and
definitely I you know I told him you know bad boy was on pause and he was
like nah there's no way I'm letting that he's he's so bad boy so he's just taking
the flag up his self and it's really really proud to see you know him to go
through you know that that adversity I was asked is there any friendly
competition in the crib at all yeah um The other day he was charting higher than me.
Out of nowhere, and they just like delivering me the message.
And I was just like, I know that's my son, but he's not getting to number one before me.
I said, that is not the way we come back in together.
The black ball.
No, that black ball. I, that ain't black ball.
I just told my team to turn up, and I felt so proud.
Like, I felt, like, just so proud that he was higher on the chart than me.
Who's higher now?
He is.
I don't think as of today.
But you got more resources.
That's not fair.
Yeah.
You guys go stream it.
Hey, yo, it's just like running a race with your pops.
You know what I'm saying?
Now, how did you get Young Miami on the remix?
Um.
Yeah.
How'd you get it cleared?
Did she charge you?
Did she charge you?
How'd you get it cleared?
Nah, nah, nah.
She was at the studio.
I said, get on the mic.
Let's do this.
Whoa.
Yeah.
Yeah, okay.
Yeah, that's what's up yeah she was in
the studio she cleared it right away no problems say the right away yeah everything's clear
everything's clear you know what i'm saying so you knew you wanted young miami and ashanti
yes young miami was really supposed to just do it for a challenge you know what i'm saying she
wanted to do the open mic challenge she really loved the record and um but ashanti you know um i just felt ashanti
just just because i think that that music and art could you know saying gives you a chance to speak
your mind when it comes to the love territory and you know after i seen irv do his thing i was just
thinking i was like sis may want to you know know, express herself on this song, you know?
Oh, so she's kind of like a rebuttal to the stuff Irv was saying?
Yeah, like we talk about whatever's going through our lives.
And Irv is my man.
And I've known Ashanti before.
Ashanti was like, you know, 14.
And I just felt like with the music, I'm trying to get real truth out the music.
So, you know, I was actually, I was calling different people that you know maybe had public relationships because
that's what you know you know when I made the record it was from my public
relationship and me having to move on and so that's how it kind of came
together I feel when you make records in the truth in that truth it really jumps
out so yeah not a remix is is really crazy it's like the rest
of my remixes is is is going to take the record to the next level and um yeah they they really
really really did they think that's interesting to see you that vulnerable and even to admit that
that record is about x relationship yeah yeah i had a you know when you in this game and you could definitely get an ego, you know what I'm saying?
And definitely experience the ego death when it's somebody that you like, we're going to make it through anything.
You know what I'm saying?
But then when it's over and then it's, yeah, it's over.
Like when something's really, really over with a woman, it's over.
And you got to move on.
And so I really had to learn that in my life.
I didn't want to move on.
I don't go out without a fight.
I'm like crazy boyfriend.
But even after they married and got kids and everything else?
You stir up a lot of shit like that.
If they married and got kids, no.
I mean, that's when you got to move on.
That's the only reason why I moved on.
But yeah, yeah, no, it's always going to be, you know, that's the thing I have as an artist is my life.
You know what I'm saying?
I may not, I maybe cannot write the best rhymes as Kendrick or Nas, but as an artist artistically telling my truth,
you know what I'm saying? Whether it's through love or getting money
or whatever it is, it's going
to ring true. What accountability
do you take in that coming to an end?
Me?
I mean, everything. I was just like,
you know, I just
you know, I just
wasn't I've never been a good boyfriend.
You know what I'm saying?
Are you a whore?
And that's why, no, no, I'm single, you know, and I'm honest now.
But I was like, I would always be, you know, lying or seeing it.
But then the internet just went so crazy, you know, and I definitely was like a you know a cheetah
were you insecure okay huh you're insecure no I wasn't insecure I just I was just wanting my cake
and eat it too I just I just wanted it all I'm just a Scorpio and you don't want those women
with a lot of money huh and you don't want those women to do other things I think a lot of guys
have that where they're like I want to you know be together be with you treat you like my woman have you not do other things but i'm gonna do other
things um yeah i mean i mean before i i just wanted to have a girlfriend just have maybe
some girls on the side you know what i'm saying just to have you know i'm saying but i had one
in my previous relation i wanted to it to just be like that, you know? And, you know, I had a lot of growing up to do,
you know what I'm saying?
You know, even if I was older,
I had a, you know, the way I was seeing it,
I wasn't seeing it right.
You know, you can't play with somebody's life.
You can't play with somebody's heart.
All right, we got more with Diddy when we come back,
so don't move.
It's The Breakfast Club.
Good morning.
Morning, everybody.
It's DJ Envy, Angela Yee, Charlamagne Tha Guy we are the Breakfast Club we're still kicking it with
Diddy. Karisha say y'all go together real bad but she also says she's single so yeah yeah yeah I
mean Karisha's single I'm single and um it's working for you no no no I'm saying she's one
of my best friends this girl is one of the
i'm so blessed to have met this human being you know i'm saying just the the way she makes me laugh
the way she you know just you know rides with me and you know i'm saying the support without it
having to be oh this is my, or this is this situation.
You know what I'm saying?
She's like, has been a real friend.
And you don't get, like,
you don't find best friends later on in life.
You know what I'm saying?
And so she's one of my best friends,
and that's really the definition for it.
That's my shorty Wap.
She always gonna be laced,
always gonna be smiling.
I love seeing your dynamics on Carisha, please.
I was like, look at Diddy acting like a little shy.
He blushing now.
You know, kind of nervous to answer questions,
not knowing what to say.
I think that's a good thing, though.
Yeah, yeah.
It's like, I'm saying I'm not monogamous,
but I'm not ready for, you know what I'm saying, for my soul to be snatched. I'm not tryingogamous, but I'm not not ready for, you know, I'm saying for my snow
soul to be snatched.
I'm not trying to be a player.
I think dating is important when you've gone through something and you know, you're not
really ready to be in a relationship and it's getting to an important time, you know, you
know, just taking the time to get to know people, you know, I could have had people that I took the time with to date that I could have been in a relationship with.
Then we broke up with somebody else.
But now we dated.
We had fun.
We saw it didn't feel right.
You know what I'm saying?
It didn't last the test of time.
So, I mean, that's my world.
You know what I'm saying?
And I'm not taking away from any man that's in love or any people that want to be married or wanna you know say they monogamous but they not I'm just telling the truth
no I don't want to get married don't want to get married but I would have a
ceremony a ceremony that would be better for a wedding for my wife you just want
to have a party because because it party this is a ditty party no because because
it would be like a celebration in the ceremony it would be a celebration of what though a celebration
of our love oh okay i mean we just do it different king it's all good i was gonna say a celebration
of my love and she would probably get you know um a half a billion dollars and see that's what i
was gonna say right she ain't gotta get it when me baby I want you to get it when you hear see
that's what I mean right if you tell me if a woman's dating you you're doing
things for her that she's never had done before you taking them to Italy you
buying them crazy cause you can imagine how she might think he really likes me
but that's just your lifestyle that's easy for you no I really like him from
taking the Italy and buying a car now I don't say I. No, I really like him if I'm taking him to Italy and buying him a car. I don't say I don't really like somebody, man.
You know what I'm saying?
Time is precious.
Time is precious.
I still believe in that.
No, I'm saying, like right now, I just want to be single,
and I just want to have different experiences,
and I want to take my time with my love life and my heart
and not have to be doing it for the gram.
You know what I'm saying? And if I like you, I'm going to treat you the best. life in my heart and not have to be be doing it for the gram you know saying
and if I like you I'm gonna treat you the best I'm not gonna ain't got no time
to be cheap baby you know saying and I ain't got no time to play you know so if
I like you and we lie I need you be happy every second of the day yeah yeah
I don't want to stay on this but how you gonna give up the 500 million though why
do you just get to have a feeling like that you know why because you can't take it with you and it's also a lot of stress
that that that sometimes people have to put up with digesting this you know i'm saying
so you might as well you know be mad in the maybach now let me ask you this
i saw you posting by the way your daughters are all absolutely beautiful.
Yeah.
Great job with all your kids.
Congratulations on that kid.
Absolutely.
So when it comes to them dating, it feels like they're that age.
Like what advice do you give your daughters now when it comes to dating?
I told my daughters straight up.

What's the last time you got into a fight?
Man
It's been a long time
You pay people
You don't have to do that kind of stuff

He does not fight
If I saw you fighting I'd be like
Who not doing they job if Diddy fighting?
It's a friendly fight.
Not no real fight.
Not no beef, but you know what I'm saying?
Punch every right now.
Friendly.
I'd rather see y'all wrestle, to be honest with you.
What?
He said punch.
I'd rather see y'all wrestle.
It's more like grappling.
You know what I'm saying?
More like UFC.
Why you doing this?
Hey, yo.
Hey, yo.
I'm trying to say, I'm unpauseable.
You understand what I'm saying? I'm unpauseable. Do y'all think that I care doing this. Hey, yo. Hey, yo, tell this out. I'm unpauseable. You understand what I'm saying?
I'm unpauseable.
Do y'all think that I care?
No.
With anything or with anything?
No.
Hey, yo.
Unpauseable.
I absolutely don't.
Y'all don't have to kill an own-by-a-black man.
That's right.
You know what I'm saying?
I'm just saying, like, I like more hand-to-hand combat.
You know what I'm saying?
All right, we we gotta move on
oh yeah and i'm not your uncle though for real i'm your competition i could be your daddy
you know i'm saying but i'm not like your uncle leroy so you don't like you don't like og none

You know what I'm saying?
Where it's like,
you could maybe
be a little feeble.
Don't let these
young niggas fool you.
They be trying
to motherfucking play you.
You know what I'm saying?
I could be in something
and it could be you know
She 28
30
Whatever
His time is gonna come
With the OG
Like he really
Disrupting something
You know what I'm saying
So it be subliminal
OG
In age
Hate
In industry
I'm here prime time
You know
I respect the OG
But I'm not like
An original gangster
You know what I'm saying
I'm just like I'm king i'm love and so it should apply all right we got more with diddy when we

inspiring stories from the people you know, follow, and admire, join me every week for Post Run High.

and families called Historical Records. Historical Records brings history to life through hip hop.
Each episode is about a different inspiring figure from history.
Like this one about Claudette Colvin, a 15-year-old girl in Alabama who refused to give up her seat on the city bus nine whole months before Rosa Parks did the same thing.
Check it.
And it began with me.
Did you know, did you know?
I wouldn't give up my seat.
Nine months before Rosa, it was Claudette Colvin. Get the kids in your life excited about history by tuning in to Historical Records.
Because in order to make history, you have to make some noise.

and the time had suddenly come to share that past with your child? These are just a few of
the powerful and profound questions we'll be asking on our 11th season of Family Secrets.
Some of you have been with us since season one, and others are just tuning in. Whatever the case and wherever you are,

My name is Manuel Delia. I am one of the hosts of Crooks Everywhere, a podcast that unhearts the plot to murder a one-woman Wikileaks.
Daphne exposed the culture of crime and corruption that were turning her beloved country into a mafia state.
And she paid the ultimate price.
Listen to Crooks Everywhere on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
Morning, everybody.
It's DJ Envy, Angela Yee, Charlamagne Tha Guy.
We are The Breakfast Club.
We're still here with Diddy.
Now, the other day, we seen you on the phone with Kanye talking fashion.
What was that conversation like?
And did you see his fashion choices kanye my boy kanye my boy now this this is what he need the og kanye
my boy white lives matter kanye my boy is is a super super super free thinker you know i'm saying
and a lot of times what he means is is like misconstrued you know i'm saying and a lot of times what he means is is like misconstrued
you know i'm saying and sometimes just you gotta start making excuses for him no no no no i'm not
making excuses i'm just saying if he did it like that's the way he thinks and so you know and i
understand white lives do matter but it's's not that. That was our slogan.
That wasn't our slogan to go share with nobody else.
And so that's the only message.
We don't have to condemn Kanye or cancel him.
We don't have to go crazy.
But at the same time, you know, saying you got to be you, you got to understand, like, your actions, you know saying you gotta be you you gotta understand like your actions you know i'm
saying and so that you know the action of that you know i couldn't put out the kanye and nothing
t-shirt i just couldn't i couldn't do it on today and i wanted to put out my first t-shirt to tribute
kanye and i'm still do it i just need a couple of days to get over this t-shirt because right now we're the ones
that are that are dying that's right you know saying that are incarcerated you that are left
in poverty not getting no you know any any any money for retribute what is it reparations
reparations and on top of that you, flooding our communities with drugs and guns.
And we know all this, and they still not trying to break us off, which that's the next level we got to go to.
So there really ain't no time for no other lives mattering right now but the tribe.
You have to be unapologetically black and love your people and love your tribe first.
If you heard something was going on, your ass would be running to your house first.
You would not be going to your neighbor's house first.
They'd be running to their house first.
We got to run to our house first.
And we ain't got no time for like no internet.
You know what I'm saying?
Like white lives matter.
Put that up against the black lives matter.
We need to be focused on ourselves.
Let the white lives, let white lock they self out let's let's let's black lives ourselves you know i'm saying right now and and i don't think no it's it's not the time for unnecessary
noise where you know him or or karen owens you know i'm saying because this is really
candace karen candace she karen Owens now. That's her new name.
Diddy.
Diddy.
Candace is too black of a name.
She's Karen Owens.
All right.
So that's what I've always respected about you.
The Jay-Z's of the world.
Andre Harrell.
God bless the day.
Y'all were always unapologetically black in y'all mogul journey.
The problem I be having with Ye sometimes,
he goes out of his way to seek white validation. I'm going to tell you right now.
It's way too serious now we sitting here we like this
we less than one percent instagram got the algorithm tiktok got the algorithm of just
is just having fun black people just having fun brown people just having fun and everybody is
starving at a level that that I don't think people know.
You know what I'm saying?
That's really what's going on.
So it's just no time to do nothing but to shed light and focus on that.
You know what I'm saying?
As I said, from incarceration to poverty.
If somebody want to get a job, how do they get a job?
Are you serious?
You know what I'm saying?
If you ain't on Instagram doing digital stuff, there's no other job for you but to sell drugs and uh you know saying scam or whatever it
is and it's just like like we can't be tone deaf that's right you know i'm saying as a people and
so to me it was very tone deaf but i'm not i'm not condemning my brother because i like it when
he's a free thinker but i just think that this time is the wrong time because we don't need to get distracted
We really need to know what's going on besides Instagram. What's going on in our communities? That's right
I want to talk about being an artist man
Cuz I feel like regardless of how big of a mogul you are you're always an artist mode
Is that artists hunger ever leave you? i would say um i lost my artist for
like eight years and like the last two years i really started to get it back when i say i lost
my artist that's the artist of creativity in me so that's why i'm at a highly highly creative zone
i want to send a shout out to to all of the seasoned executives and seasoned creatives i'm always looking for new creatives but i'm i am
trying to poach people from you know some of the top companies that know the information that we
need to know to be able to not just compete but to dominate you know it wasn't because the liquor
did so well you pivoted but the one time it was all about the rock and all about the leon and it was less about diddy the artist yeah i i um you know you know um the money
had got to me you know i'm saying and i wasn't really inspired and so like yeah i was really
down a road of understanding you know like like high level corporate business at a whole nother level.
And so it was like a time for me to learn more.
But I was empty.
You know what I'm saying?
I was empty.
I felt lost.
My frequency was down because I wasn't creating.
And so I'm here to create. And sometimes you have to you have to go in and touch the money and touch it.
Said to realize not as that.
That's not that's not what I'm here to do.
You know, I'm saying so artistically, you know, I'm back all the way.
You know, I'm saying as far as as my thoughts and now even the resources, I used to just have picket signs.
Now I got, you know, signs now i got you know technology so
you know i'm just trying to make the highest art that i can and um yeah i'm very excited for sean
john to be back and for me to be starting that project and we need the blacks the black for laws
need i still have mine yeah now how how has the project been coming along because i've been
working on it for some time now yeah Yeah. So are their songs confirmed?
Do we have a release date?
Yes.
And just back to that question about just being an artist,
that's what I'm deeply into right now.
I have a new album coming out.
It's an all R&B album.
It'll be out, I would say, top of the year.
It'll be out.
And it's like the Super Bowl of R&B.
And it's just my take. That's always always been my gift which was making R&B before the business and entrepreneur stuff
It was a way the sounds I put on my life the chord changes the experience I've had with Joe to see you know
112 day 26
New Edition called, Aretha Franklin, Beyonce, Total.
You know what I'm saying?
Like, that's home to me.
So I'm making R&B to make you dance, R&B to make babies, too, to make love.
Why now?
Because I think it's needed now more than ever.
I think that the images and the frequency that we live in is a very dangerous frequency for black people and all people.
You know what I'm saying?
But for me, I was doing it because as us, as people of color, we were losing our African-American culture.
This is our greatest export ever, which is soul music.
They got mad at you when you said R&B was dead, though.
Yeah, they could get mad at me all they want.
They're upset about that one.
Yeah, yeah, they could be upset all they want you know because i'm always going to give
you the truth and when something is alive and thriving then it's alive and thriving you know
when something doesn't have the resources and billboard has hip-hop going against um r&b that
was an excellent point yeah yeah it's it's there's way to compete. It's doing the best it can, and the artists are doing the best they can.
But the thing I was talking about was the way everything's being programmed and the resources.
And I used to be bugging out, like, is there a conspiracy to just put out negative music?
There is a little conspiracy for the darkness.
That's in the media, too. You know what I'm saying? The darkness is at a heavy, the darkness. That's in the media too.
You know what I'm saying?
The darkness is at a heavy, heavy rate.
So why now?
Because I feel I'm out of frequency.
I'm in my godly.
I'm walking in the spirit.
And it's best time for me to make the music because the purpose is bigger than the moment.
It's not about me.
I've left me.
I'm into we all of the people.
We had an industry, an ecosystem of musicians, of writers, of people from the church, of emotions, of things that were the heartbeat of us.
You know what I'm saying? And so when when when that musicality left and it started, everything started to sound like computer beats i as a gatekeeper of r&b was like feeling
like batman like it's time to get back out there all right we got more with diddy when we come
back it's the breakfast club good morning morning everybody it's dj envy angela yee charlamagne the
guy we are the breakfast club we're still kicking it with diddy i was gonna ask you know what did
you think about right where you look at an
artist, Mase, right, was upset for you
for years. Yes. Then
down the line, he has an artist.
And then recently, his artist is upset
because he's basically said, allegedly,
that Mase didn't pay him and there was problems.
Do you look at that and be like,
that's just an executive or is it one of those
things like I told you? First
of all... Because what he had a things like i told you first of all because what
he had a problem first of all first of all see i didn't do nothing to him so let's go back to the
first the first of all the first of all is is there has been negative propaganda put out about about me that's not true and has really stained tried to stay staying my legacy
I've always been a person I don't like to get in just talking people's business
and things like that but not right now I have made it my purpose that when I come
back I can't have y'all y'all y'all following me because I am here to be a
leader and to give some direction
if you think that i'm a scumbag that would ever steal anything my name is diddy sean combs i never
took nothing from nobody a day in my life all i've ever given is is opportunity and more money than a person was making.
So when I hear, like, or I see things,
and I'm like, wow, this vibe that they got on me,
like I'm Big Red or something.
I came here, I opened up the doors.
So you're saying you don't steal from artists is what you're saying?
Never, never, never.
So how does a narrative like that happen with so many different people?
Because people have this thing called the tap out button.
When you get to a certain point and the money is running low, you got to run this hustle to try to find somebody to blame.
You know what I'm saying?
I have all my receipts. And so we are going to do a special, a retrospective with all the artists.
And we're going to get this narrative clear because it comes from different tactics when people want to get out of contracts.
And a lot of people that speak on this, y'all don't know the business.
Y'all don't know what y'all are talking about.
So it's going to be a teaching moment of love because it is important.
I feel fight for your reputation.
I'm a fight for my reputation.
I'm a fight for the honorable man.
I am the righteous king that I am.
I'm not perfect.
You know what I'm saying?
It could have been an accountant mess up on
this one or that one things that happen in the business but me actually like I'm running a hustle
to get money I started delivering papers at 12 years old I was a millionaire when I was 19
you know I'm saying and so I will be making sure that the truth comes out because that's not going down in my legacy.
And to me, that's the worst thing in the world is a thief.
The thief is the worst thing.
His hand should be chopped.
Her hand should be chopped off.
His or her hand should be.
That's the way I feel about somebody taking something from somebody that ain't theirs.
You know what I'm saying?
When you could go out and you could go and work for something and so that right there um I just just you know just in
general it you know the mace thing you know I did one album with mace one album
how much money do you think I owe this guy one album and then he became a fake
pastor and went and con people and then y'all gonna let him throw
dirt on the god's name we going we i wrote each and every one and each and every body anybody
could come and step up bring your receipts but i'm not playing i'm back outside and i'm fighting back
for us and i'm also doing Do a little fighting back for me
You know what I'm saying?
So
How much money does
And I'm just throwing this out
How much money does somebody like
A Mace owe you?
Because the reason I say that
Mace owes me three million dollars
That's facts
I got the receipt
Second album
He gave money to do a second album
Never delivered
Did the album
Never delivered
You know what I'm saying?
And I'm not going to go back and forth
With Mace
You know what I'm saying?
I'm not going back and forth
With nobody I'm just going to If I'm here I'm going to speak up for myself I'm saying? And I'm not going to go back and forth with Mace. You know what I'm saying? I'm not going back and forth with nobody.
I'm just going to, if I'm here, I'm going to speak up for myself now.
You know what I'm saying?
I'm not going to have you think something that I hate.
I hate a thief.
I hate somebody that don't got, and I don't hate nobody, but that's with somebody that just got to take something that somebody else worked for,
just for their benefit.
And they find out.
I don't like that.
You're really doing a special like you're taping a special to address.
I think he just came up with that idea right now.
No, no. I was more saying, you know, I'm going to use, you know, I have a very I have a very successful.
Thank you to everybody for supporting network so yeah i'm gonna go and tell my story
on on on my network with one of my podcasts and i'm gonna also get the artists that
that you know together to to um you know help me clear this up what would the lot say i spoke to
a lot yeah i told a lot they gonna help me clear it up yeah They know. I mean, the truth is going to be the truth.
But we're going to get to the truth.
As long as I'm outside, we're not trying to start nothing with nobody.
Mace, I love Mace.
And I will tell anybody.
Anybody thinks I owe them something, show me the receipt.
You get paid in 24 hours.
Because sometimes there's accounting problems.
You know what I'm saying?
There's problems.
Well, we all go to a club.
Oh, we never really got a big check from Revolt, but that's nothing.
That really went through.
That has nothing to do with it.
No, no, no, no, no.
I'm going to tell you what happened with that.
You know what I'm saying?
Your people at our heart, you know what I'm saying?
I gave them the money, and they kept all the money.
I believe it.
They kept all the money.
So now that's why y'all can come to me direct, and y'all get the $2 million direct.
You feel me?
I'm making a lot of changes
Yeah, you come over to revolt revolt revolt right now you remember how y'all was saying like revolt ain't paying we we being cheap
Yeah, we was a startup company
On other shows and they always take care of me.
Yes.
And it's always a pleasant experience.
Everybody there is everything smooth, flights, rooms.
And I want to say about this, this show, this show is, is as big as it is because we're unified.
And that's just facts.
People always are like, how come y'all not on Revolt anymore?
So, yeah.
So just make sure as y'all out there, make sure the way you speak about the God.
You feel me?
Just speak about it like from a place of knowledge and a place of receipts.
And, yeah.
What's new on Revolt coming up?
New on Revolt?
I mean, Carisha, please.
And she won last night.
Listen, you know I love her.
Carisha, please won last night.
Wait, wait, wait.
I love Carisha.
She did.
But it tied with Drink Champs.
Diddy, you know that's some bulls**t.
What?
It tied.
It tied.
I thought it tied.
Carisha, please and Drink Champs tied for best podcast.
They both won Revolt.
So you paid for that?
No, I didn't pay for that.
Drink Champs should have won that hand down.
Yo, yo, yo, yo, I didn't pay for that.
I love Carisha.
She only got five episodes.
How'd she beat Drink Champs for best podcast, Diddy?
Come on now.
Because it was the best podcast of the year.
Hands down.
I love Carisha.
Hands down, it was the best podcast of the year.
No.
But you know what?
I give that to Drink Champs.
$8 million worth of games.

Good morning.
Yes.
Donkey of the Day for Wednesday, June 8th goes to a Fort Worth, Texas woman named Augustine Gladney.
Augustine is 40 years old, and she has been arrested and charged with abuse of a corpse.
Interesting charge.
As soon as you hear that charge, I'm sure your ears perk up, and you would like to hear more, wouldn't you?
Why in the hell did this 40-year-old woman get charged with abuse of a of a corpse well i'm sure you all saw a young lady go viral on tiktok right with the
caption he cheated so i threw his mom his mom's ashes in the river with the question did she take
it too far the answer would be yes but authorities have not confirmed the woman in the video to be
augustine gladney but according to these digital detectives, these social media sleuths, these Instagram inspectors and Facebook talker of the ticks, many news outlets have reported the crime occurred last week.
But that is not true. Sidebar, I'm telling you right now, social media should not have all this power.
They used to say, believe none of what you hear and half of what you see nowadays because of the lies, propaganda and false narratives that are started because of social media you should believe none of what you hear and absolutely not a damn thing you see because what you see is either fake a lie or
just something out of context okay or just somebody trying to go viral it's so strange
what we allow people on social media and youtube to make us believe okay look what they did with
the honeypot collection random tiktok user creates a video saying they're not black on no more and
that lie travels around the world four times before the truth is even putting on his shoes
i mean a lie on social media travels faster than a dollar through the black community and then that
lie is believed longer than the time it takes for a dollar to stay in the asian community and that's
a pretty long time by the way some say a dollar stays in the asian community for 30 days or more
but all i'm trying to say is niggas be lying on social media okay but that lie may or may not have been the reason
for augustine gladney to get locked up because she was arrested and charged with abuse of a corpse
two years after she really threw her ex-boyfriend's uh mother's ashes into lake
which is a lake northwest of Fort Worth.
According to the Fort Worth Police Department, Augustine dumped the ashes of a brother named Ernestine Smith's mother into a lake in 2020, but she was charged with the crime on May
4th of this year.
According to records, Smith told police on June 3rd, 2020, that his late mother's urn
was missing from the residence he and Gladney shared.
He maintains that he overheard a conversation Gladney had with her daughter, admitting to the act.
And later, Ernest said Augustine texted him, also confessing to what she had done.
And police advised Ernest to collect all text interactions with Augustine as evidence.
And this viral video that's actually a sketch based on what augustine
did has brought a lot of spotlight has brought a lot of spotlight to the case so technically what
y'all have done to augustine is probably cause her to get the maximum sentence okay that's probably
what's going to happen abusive a corpse is a class a misdemeanor that carries a four thousand dollar
fine and up to a year in prison the reason this woman will probably get hit with all of that is because now,
thanks to social media, there is a visual,
not an actual visual of what happened,
but a reenactment of how disgusting something like this is,
not to mention all the comments saying how effed up this is.
I'm sure that those comments will influence a judge.
Now, clearly this woman is worthy of a punishment and whatever that law,
you know, whatever the law has for her is what the law has for her she earned it but social media should not
influence any of these cases but sadly they do and this is a case where social media is probably
going to get that woman some real jail time at least you know it's up to a year but she i could
see her getting some jail time now according to aug Augustine's LinkedIn, she is a clinical office specialist at the College of Healthcare Professionals.
Sounds like a really decent job to me.
And you are jeopardizing that livelihood simply because you couldn't control your emotions.
Once again, this is why I tell people all the time to invest in their mental wealth.
Therapy, therapy, therapy.
I will scream it until I'm blue in the face, even though I could never be blue in the face because I'm black in the face.
OK, I don't know if this woman has ever sat with a therapist, but I promise you a few deep breaths would have kept her from making this poor choice.
This was just an emotional reaction.
And there is several different anger management breathing exercises you can do to stay calm.
OK, next time someone gets you hot hot just do some slow and deep breathing okay breathing slowly into your
nose and out your mouth breathe deep from your belly not your chest and keep
repeating these breaths as necessary okay those simple breathing exercises
will keep you from doing nut ass stuff like Augustine did I promise you okay
you'll become happy when you stop reacting
and start controlling your emotions, okay? And stop listening to people tell you that things
like this are justified just because somebody hurt your feelings, okay? I don't care if your
significant other cheated on you, don't want to be with you no more, breaks up with you, whatever.
That doesn't justify you getting back through violence. This is an act of violence okay i don't care how fed up you you
you get don't get so fed up that you ruin your life okay sure you threw his mom's ashes in the
river you think you hurting him but now you have to live with the energy of that heinous act okay
that action you did is now your karma all i'm simply trying to say is no matter this situation don't let your emotions
overpower your intelligence before you react think all right and if you need some help
with your thoughts find a mental health care professional to assist you with that
please give augustine gladney the sweet sounds of the hamiltons oh now you are the donkey of the day you are the donkey of the day
i mean come on augustine you got you got therapy for black girls you got black women's mental
health alliance you got the akoma project Alliance. You got the Acoma Project.
You know, you got the Mental Wealth Alliance.
Really no excuse for not getting the help you need in regards to properly deal with your emotions.
Jesus.
Agree.
Call Jesus, too, by the way.
All right.
Well, thank you for that donkey of the day, Charlemagne.

And what if your past itself was a secret and the time had suddenly come to share that past with your child?
These are just a few of the powerful and profound questions we'll be asking

ye keep the bread morning everybody it's dj envy angela Yee, Charlamagne Tha Guy.
We are The Breakfast Club.
We're in the middle of Ask Yee.
Hello, who's this?
What's happening?
I met this older woman about a year ago.
I'm 25.
She's 41.
You hear me?
I met her.
You know, it was just a little fling thing.
Wasn't nothing that deep.
You know, we kicking each other.
I'm kicking her.
And then I ended up meeting her daughter through her.
Her daughter about my age.
Okay.
One thing led to another,
you know,
when her mama wasn't around
and me and her daughter
been kicking me too.
But literally now,
I feel like,
you know,
the daughter,
my soulmate,
like I'm in love with her.
Wow.
I don't know how to,
I don't know if I should just
stay away from the whole situation
or follow my heart.
You know what I'm saying?
Man, listen,
ideally,
you would stay away
from the whole situation,
but I can't imagine that you will.
You're saying this woman
is your soulmate.
For sure.
See, I'm in Charlotte.
I'm from Charlotte, North Carolina.
The phone!
That phone!
That phone!
You already know.
So let me ask you this.
The relationship with the mother, it wasn't anything serious.
Y'all was just kicking it?
I mean, but it, yeah, we kicking, but it been going on for a minute.
But that wasn't your woman.
You weren't in a relationship.
Nah, she's like, she sound like my sugar mama.
Like I go over there and kick and play the game over there and stuff.
Now, what does the daughter have to say about all this?
See, that's the thing.
Like, she ready to tell mom, dude.
That's grimy.
So, her and her mom have a good relationship?
For sure.
Yeah, they straight.
All right.
Well, look.
I'm going to tell you this because I already could tell just by talking to you.
You're not going to stay away from the daughter.
But that mom will be hitting two, though.
Oh, my God.
Okay.
So, you know what you're
not in love if that's how you feel that ain't your soulmate because if that was your soulmate
you wouldn't even be questioning you wouldn't even be thinking about the mom anymore that ain't
that ain't your soulmate i think it's impossible to be banging somebody's daughter after you've
been banging the mama and not think about the mama too um no but he's saying he still want to
he still want to hit it. I can see why.
Look, all I'm going to say is this.
This sound like you about to tear this family apart.
Have they ever done anything like this before?
Not that I know of.
Not that you know of.
How do you know he's not a party pack?
Maybe if he just put it on the table, the mom and daughter can share him.
I've seen stranger things on porn before.
Yeah, you might be a party pack.
You think the mom has any idea?
Nah, she don't be
paying attention to nothing.
Mm-hmm.
Dimension?
She's 41.
Might be.
I don't know.
Yeah, she's only 41.
But nah, I think
I'ma just go ahead
and just fall back
on both of them.
Yeah, that ain't
just soulmate
because if that was
just soulmate,
you wouldn't still be
thinking about continuing
a relationship
with the mother.
Like, so,
it sound way too complicated.
It sound like
this could go left at any time.
The fact that the daughter would do that to her mom
is also a red flag.
Hey, I'm just like that, though.
You see it?
Oh, my God.
That phone.
That's how y'all all feel.
You from that phone.
Y'all already know.
Go find you another soulmate.
All right, easy.
I'll holler at y'all.
Go find you another soul to snatch.
My goodness.
Ask Yee.

This is The Breakfast Club.
Good morning.
Get some real advice
with Angela Yee.
It's Ask Yee.
Morning, everybody.
It's DJ Envy, Angela Yee,
Charlamagne Tha Guy.
We are The Breakfast Club.
We're in the middle of Ask Yee.
Good morning.
What's your question for you, bro?
Good morning, Breakfast Club.
So, Yee, my question is,
so just recently,
I'm in a relationship
with this beautiful woman.
She's currently going through
a divorce right now,
and she was raped by her
soon-to-be
ex-husband. So I was very angry. I tried to get her to go to the cop. She didn't want to do it.
So I'm trying to figure out what should I do? How should I feel? Okay. So I understand. So you said
she was raped by her soon-to-be ex-husband. You want her to go to the police to report this
and she's not willing to do that right now. And, you know, that's a difficult decision.
Again, it is her decision,
but what you can do is be as supportive as possible.
I think you should encourage her to talk to someone
like a therapist or a sexual assault counselor.
I know they have the National Sexual Assault Hotline.
That number is 800-656-HOPE
if she wants to speak to someone.
And that way she can have a record of it
because the worst thing you want to do is not be able to bring this up later if she should to speak to someone and that way she can have a record of it because the worst
thing you want to do is not be able to bring this up later if she should change her mind.
But I do think speaking to a counselor or a therapist will help her understand that it is
in no way her fault because she might be having some feelings. A lot of times when things happen,
you think about what could I have done differently? Is this my fault? How could this have been
prevented? Did I put myself in a bad situation?
Am I going to ruin his life if they have kids together?
Women think about all of those things.
And a therapist might help her to see things from a different point of view and understand that it was in no way at all her fault.
And another thing you should encourage her to do is write everything down.
That way she can remember every single detail in case there's an instance where she does decide that she wants to go to the police or report this she'll have all of that information but speaking
to a counselor speaking to a therapist that can help her see things who's an expert from a different
point of view i think would be one of the most helpful things you can do because again you want
to be there to support and comfort her you want her to be able to trust you but you don't want
to make her feel ashamed or have any type of judgment on whatever her decision is.
Gotcha.
And I tried to suggest some of those things to her, but I think that the problem arose
where she didn't want to be victimized or be a victim, and it was kind of hard for her
to even grasp the concept of what happened.
And when we had the conversation, it was kind of like she was kind of in denial.
Right.
That's a problem that we were running into.
And she's a survivor.
We like to say survivor.
So not a victim, but she survived this.
And we want her to continue to thrive and to actually deal with whatever she might be feeling with that.
And that might be something that she needs to talk to somebody about.
Again, if right now she's not ready to go to the police,
I would encourage her to speak to someone.
And even you can call, right?
Because then they might be able to give you the tools
that you would need to be able to talk to your girlfriend
to better be able to help her
because that's a traumatic experience.
You don't even know how this might affect her later,
but you want her to be able to have
whatever options available to her in case she needs those
Okay, thank you so much
I love you guys
I love you all every morning
But thank you again so much
Alright, thank you
And we commend you and appreciate you
For being such a support to your girlfriend
At a time like this
Absolutely, gotta be
Okay
You too, ask ye
Alright, this is the breakfast
club good boy the breakfast club it's that time again ask charlamagne and dj envy anything

We are The Breakfast Club.
Yee is out, so it's time for Ask C&E if you need relationship advice.
And who do we have on the line?
Good morning.
Good morning.
Hey, what's your name?
Renita.
What's the matter, Renita?
Why you sound so upset, mama?
My boyfriend and I, we live together, but he decided he does not want to be in a
relationship with me anymore, but we still live together.
We have to coexist.
He doesn't drive to work.
I drive him to work every morning.
Oh, that has to stop.
He broke up with you and now he still wants the benefits of being able to be able to sleep
with you and get your car and be able to use your car and use your lights and your electricity
and all of that.
Yeah.
Nah, that got to stop right there, mama. He doesn't have a driver's license or a drive so i feel i would feel bad
if he does does he feel bad when he just broke your heart and broke up with you and said he
don't want to be with you no more did he feel bad like you're driving that's why he broke up with you
that's what it is he don't like your driving no i even call him on three way Call him on three way right now
Call him on three way
Yeah word
I don't care
Call him on three way
Let's see the answer
What's his name
Let me see if he'll pick up
He'll pick up
Call him on three way
Let's call him on three way
He don't pick up
He don't love you
What kind of job you got
Oh she must be calling Hello, we are not available now.
Please leave your name and...
He didn't pick up.
So what do you want us to do?
I just want advice.
Like, y'all think I should stop driving him to work?
Can we have a date together?
Yes.
On the lease together?
Yes.
You're not going to listen.
You love that man.
You ain't going nowhere.
That pee-pee too good.
Y'all been having too much unprotected sex.
You ain't ready to walk yet.
And it's a five-year relationship, so I don't want to leave.
Exactly.
Yeah, but you got to, you know, right now he's just using you.
The fact that he broke up with you, he can still sleep with you.
He can still use you to take him around.
You got to stop that.
You got to let him know, like, look, like, oh, if it's over, it's over.
I'm not driving you around.
No, I'm not doing that no more.
You find your new bitch to drive you around.
Now, that I agree with.
You got to set boundaries.
And being that he don't want to be your man, there's certain perks he don't get.
So you can't be his Uber no more.
Nope.
You know what I'm saying?
You can't give him the poom-poom on demand no more.
No more poom-poom.
You know what I mean?
Don't cook for him.
None of that stuff.
He got to do all that on his own.
Treat him like a roommate.
That's right. That's it. Tell him, so I do all that on his own Treat him like a roommate That's right
That's it
Tell him
So I guess we roommates now
So treat him like a roommate
I don't have sex with my roommates
He gotta sleep on the couch
He can't sleep between the same bed
I don't drive my roommates to work
Sorry
Okay
Alright
You ain't gonna listen
You gonna sleep with him tonight
You better listen
No
Watch
I'm listening
Alright mama
You gonna sleep with him tonight
Don't lie
Good luck
Nah I'm gonna listen
Alright
I want you to call us back next week and tell us how this went.
Please.
Now, hello, who's this?
This is Erin.
Hey, mama, what's up?
Ask C&E.
Yes, I have a question.
I want to know, do I have a right to be mad or am I being petty?
Me and my fiance, we've been together for five years,
and we've been sitting in school holidays together.
We don't even have to have a conversation about it.
It's just automatic.
Mm-hmm.
But this year, for Easter, he just told me two days ago
that he was going to church and then work.
Without you?
And it's, like, very last minute.
So he told you...
He's very organized, very pumped.
He is very, very organized. How long y'all been together? Five years. Five years. So wait told you. He's very organized, very pumped. He is very, very organized.
How long y'all been together?
Five years.
Five years.
So wait a minute.
So you said he's going to church and going to work, hanging out with his family and didn't tell you and invite you.
Yes, I was talking about it the other day, trying to see what I was going to wear to church.
And he was like, oh, no, I'm going to church and then I'm going to work.
Well, listen, he's doing something he really shouldn't be doing right now.
He's breaking a rule.
A rule is spending holidays with his side chicks.
His side chick invited him to church on Sunday, and he's going with her.
Yeah, I'm not going to lie.
It sounds kind of odd that he's not taking you to church and not taking you to work.
When you've been together five years, you've been doing everything with him,
and now all of a sudden he doesn't want to go with you.
I'm sorry to say that.
He might have another family on the side, man.
No, I don't think he got another family
because y'all been together five years.
But he has been with this side chick for way too long
and he's getting too close to her
and he's going with her to church on Sunday.
You go to church on Sunday.
You make sure you take your ass to church with him on Sunday.
And you're going to find him east egg hunting
with another family and you're going to have a fit.
But he don't want me to come.
Well, you better go.
What do I mean?
You got a car. I don't know. You got Uber. Yes. You got money. You better pop up have a fit. But he don't want me to come. Well, you better go. What do I mean? You got a car.
I don't know.
You got Uber.
Yes.
You got money.
You better pop up at that church.
If you know what I know.
That's right.
Pop up at that church the way Jesus popped up on Resurrection Sunday.
Okay.
All right.
Good luck.
And tell us how it works out.
Okay.
Thank you.
All right.
See that?
We helping lives.
I love it.
I see and eat.
