Starting point is 00:03:09 Wake your punk ass up. Wake your punk ass up. Good morning, USA. Yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo. Good morning, man. How you feeling? I'm feeling all right. How you feeling? I'm happy. I had a great indigo-induced sleep last night. Okay. Okay. I did me a nice little five milligrams of an edible before I went to sleep because my
Starting point is 00:03:54 body was sore and I slept like a baby. I actually did that the night before, too, but I did it too late, so that's why I was a little late to work on yesterday. Okay. But this morning, I feel great. I feel bright-eyed and bushy-tailed. That's what they say, right? Bushy-tailed.
Starting point is 00:04:10 You never heard that term? I have. Bright-eyed and bushy-tailed? I just wanted to hear you say bushy-tailed again. You just want to hear me talk about my tail. Yes, I'm bright-eyed and bushy-tailed, and I feel good, okay? And my late-night show comes on tonight,
Starting point is 00:04:22 hell of a week, so 11.30 p.m. on Comedy Central. That's right. Right after the daily show tonight. So I feel great. God is good. All right. Now you have to stop flirting with me and playing with me. I've never flirted with you.
Starting point is 00:04:33 Yes, you do. I do not flirt with you. Yesterday, as I'm minding my business, I go in the gas station to get me a water. I go get my water. And the lady comes up to me and be like, does anybody tell you you look like DJ Envy? And I'm like, all the time. And be like, oh, my God, your voice, you are DJ Envy.
Starting point is 00:04:49 And I'm like, yes. And then she goes, let me ask you a question. I go, what? She goes, did Charlamagne really go in the bathroom with you and measure the size of your pee-pee? What? Where did she get this from? When did that happen?
Starting point is 00:05:02 Nobody said that. And I'm like, no. Wow. Oh, okay. She's like, could y'all give me gay vibes? Although I know you're not gay. Why you didn't play the audio? Taylor, get the audio. Because you took a video. Yes. I didn't take a video. I laughed heavily
Starting point is 00:05:14 at that. And then the dude with the, oh my gosh. And the people I was with, nobody understood the joke. I was actually in my office at the TV studio and they did not understand the joke. They did not understand why I found this so amusing. Especially the dude that was with her, because he was so New York.
Starting point is 00:05:30 He wasn't with her. No, man, you're lying. They wasn't with each other. He just heard me talking to her. You got to play the audio to get a list of the proper context, man. All right, we'll get that audio. That dude was like, nah, they just be doing that for the bag. You know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:05:44 That's how they be sitting on L's. That's why they sitting on L's, because they sitting on D. I'm like, nah, they just be doing that for the bag. You know what I'm saying? That's how they be sitting on L's. That's why they sitting on L's because they sitting on D. I'm like, what? They didn't know each other. He just popped out of nowhere. That is hilarious. Oh, man. All right.
Starting point is 00:05:54 We're going to play that audio later to give them proper content. All right, we will. All right, now we got some special guests joining us this morning. We have YK Osiris, R&B singer. You know him. YK Osiris. Man, he had that song, Worth It, back in the day. In more recent years, I think people see him more on social media.
Starting point is 00:06:11 Yes. You know, he be with Drake a lot, owes a lot of people money. But he does have new music out. So we're going to be kicking it with him in a little bit. And also the brothers, Division. Oh, we got Division here? Yeah, they're going to be, that's the song that everybody's been saying they have a toxic single about cheating.
Starting point is 00:06:27 It is a toxic record. It's called If I Get Caught. They don't think so. They don't think the record is toxic. Not at all. So we'll be kicking it with them in a little bit. All right. Now, when we come back, we got front page news.
Starting point is 00:06:37 Monkey Pox on the rise. We'll tell you about it. Is your country falling apart? Feeling tired? Depressed? A little bit revolutionary? Consider this. Start your own country. I planted the flag. I just kind of looked out of like, this is mine. I own this. It's surprisingly easy.
Starting point is 00:06:53 55 gallons of water, 500 pounds of concrete. Everybody's doing it. I am King Ernest Emmanuel. I am the Queen of Laudonia. I'm Jackson I, King of Kaperburg. I am the Supreme Leader of the Grand Republic of Mentonia. Be part of a great colonial tradition. Why can't I trade my country?
Starting point is 00:07:09 My forefathers did that themselves. What could go wrong? No country willingly gives up their territory. I was making a rocket with a black powder, you know, with explosive warhead. Oh my God. What is that? Bullets. Bullets.
Starting point is 00:07:22 We need help! We need help! We still have the off-road portion to go. Listen to Escape from Zakistan. And we're losing daylight fast. That's Escape from Z-A-Q-istan on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Hey, guys. I'm Kate Max.
Starting point is 00:07:42 You might know me from my popular online series, The Running Interview Show, where I run with celebrities, athletes, entrepreneurs, into their stories, their journeys, and the thoughts that arise once we've hit the pavement together. You know that rush of endorphins you feel after a great workout? Well, that's when the real magic happens. So if you love hearing real, inspiring stories from the people you know, follow, and admire, join me every week for Post Run High. It's where we take the conversation beyond the run and get into the heart of it all. It's lighthearted, pretty crazy, and very fun. Listen to Post Run High on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. As a kid, I really do remember having these dreams and visions, but you just don't know what is going to come for you.
Starting point is 00:08:50 Alicia Keys opens up about conquering doubt, learning to trust herself and leaning into her dreams. I think a lot of times we are built to doubt the possibilities for ourselves. For self-preservation and protection. It was literally that step by step. And so I discovered that that is how we get where we're going. This increment of small, determined moments. Alicia shares her wisdom on growth, gratitude, and the power of love. I forgive myself.
Starting point is 00:09:24 It's okay. Like grace. Have grace with yourself It's okay. Like grace. Have grace with yourself. You're trying your best. And you're gonna figure out the rhythm of this thing. Alicia Keys, like you've never heard her before. Listen to On Purpose with Jay Shetty on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts,
Starting point is 00:09:38 or wherever you get your podcasts. Hi, I'm Marie. And I'm Sydney. And we're Mess. Well, not a mess, but on our podcast called Hi, I'm Marie. And I'm Sydney. And we're Mess. Well, not a mess, but on our podcast called Mess, we celebrate all things messy. But the gag is, not everything is
Starting point is 00:09:53 a mess. Sometimes it's just living. Yeah, things like J-Lo on her third divorce. Living. Girl's trip to Miami. Mess. Ozempic. Messy, skinny living. Restaurant stealing a birthday Miami. Mess. Ozempic. Messy, skinny living. Restaurant stealing a birthday cake. Mess.
Starting point is 00:10:09 Wait, what flavor was the cake, though? Okay, that's a good question. Hooking up with someone in accounting and then getting a promotion. Living. Breaking up with your girlfriend while on Instagram Live. Living. It's kind of mess. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:10:23 Well, you get it. Got it? Live, kind of mess. Yeah. Well, you get it. Got it? Live, love, mess. Listen to Mess with Sidney Washington and Marie Faustin on iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Hey, what's up? This is Ramses Jha. And I go by the name Q Ward. And we'd like you to join us each week for our show Civic Cipher.
Starting point is 00:10:43 That's right. We're going to discuss social issues, especially those that affect black and brown people, but in a way that informs and empowers all people to hopefully create better allies. Think of it as a black show for non-black people. We discuss everything from prejudice to politics to police violence, and we try to give you the tools to create positive change in your home, workplace, and social circle. Exactly. Whether you're Black, Asian, White, Latinx, Indigenous, LGBTQIA+, you name it. If you stand with us, then we stand with you. Let's discuss the stories and conduct the interviews that will help us create a more empathetic, accountable, and equitable America. You are all our brothers and sisters, and we're
Starting point is 00:11:22 inviting you to join us for Civic Cipher each and every Saturday with myself, Ramses Jha, Q Ward, and some of the greatest minds in America. Listen to Civic Cypher every Saturday on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Breakfast Club, good morning. Morning, everybody. It's DJ Envy, Angela Yee, Charlamagne Tha Guy. We are the Breakfast Club. Let's get some front page news. Now in sports, the NFL preseason begins tonight.
Starting point is 00:11:51 Let's go, baby. Dallas. No, Jaguars versus the Raiders. Oh, no. I wasn't going to say anything about them. I was just going to say the Dallas Cowboys Super Bowl season starts now. I feel like I heard that before. It don't matter.
Starting point is 00:12:03 I'm going to say it every day until the day I die. In one year, I'm going to be right. Alright. Now, the NFL appeals to Sean Watson's six-game suspension. So, this is what I'm getting out of it. Maybe you can tell me if I'm right or wrong. So, they have a disciplinary officer, Sue Robinson, who the NFL hires to, you know, I guess to, when they have
Starting point is 00:12:19 these type of incidents, it's an independent person that can decide if a person should be suspended or not. So, the NFL said they would be riding with her decision. Her decision was that Deshaun Watson will be suspended for the first six games of the season. I guess the NFL announced they didn't like that suspension and now are appealing it, and they want the whole season suspended for him. Oh, the NFL wants Deshaun Watson to be suspended for the whole season.
Starting point is 00:12:46 Correct. I mean, I don't know what the precedent is because I think about people like Ben Roethlisberger. Am I saying his last name right? Roethlisberger. He was accused of sexual assault a couple of times, and if I'm not mistaken, he only got six games one of those times, right?
Starting point is 00:13:03 So, I mean, I don't know what the precedent is for that type of incident. I don't understand how they have an officer who is saying that six games and then they appeal it after saying that whatever her decision is that they were going to ride with it. It just seems kind of weird and odd. I just don't think the NFL has a precedent for these kind of things. Yes, in 2010, Ben Rosenberger was suspended for six games after accusations of rape. But, yeah, Ben Rosenberger was suspended for six games after accusations
Starting point is 00:13:25 of rape. But yeah, it's like I don't know what the precedent is. Now also Shaquille O'Neal, he was doing an interview and they asked him about Kevin Durant signing with the Boston Celtics. If you were the Celtics, would you trade for Durant? Not at all. We have a young nucleus that
Starting point is 00:13:41 we can build and we can trust how to keep them. And I don't know what everybody else was watching, but Jalen was hanging pretty tough with Durant. He looked like that to me. So, no. The answer is no. The answer is no, then. So, what do you think?
Starting point is 00:13:55 Excuse me. The answer is hell no. Durant is still Durant, right? I mean, that's why. And Jalen had his way with Durant during the playoffs. Did y'all not see that? I'm good. And so where do you think Durant would be best served?
Starting point is 00:14:10 When you put a house together, you should live in it. You know, you was the one who hired the architect. You was the one who got the other architect from Philadelphia. So you as a leadership make it work. He's right. Kevin Durant ain't going nowhere. Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving are going to be right there in Brooklyn when the season starts. And they're going to have to figure out how to make it work. He's right. Kevin Durant ain't going nowhere. Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving are going to be right there in Brooklyn when the season starts.
Starting point is 00:14:26 And they're going to have to figure out how to make it work because there's no deal out there for them that makes sense. Especially for KD, there's no deal out there that makes sense. Not for the other team. They'd be having to give up too much. Too much. No. They're going to be right there in Brooklyn when the season starts.
Starting point is 00:14:41 And guess what? They need to be because you can't just always run. Because as Shaq said, they are the ones who put that team together. So figure out a way to make it work. And start with getting rid of that coach. Steve Nash has to go. I don't care that he's NBA royalty. He sucks as a coach, and y'all know it.
Starting point is 00:14:55 And lastly, monkeypox cases have been on the rise. We'll tell you about New York. It was in a state of emergency when it came to monkeypox. We'll tell you about Cali. There's over 1,100 cases. And now they're saying the next state is Florida. They're saying, according to Florida Department of Health, there are 525
Starting point is 00:15:11 reported cases of monkeypox statewide. So they're saying be careful out there. And it is growing and rising. So when monkeypox gets to Florida, that's when monkeypox gonna leave. They're gonna have enough. Once they get to Florida, they're gonna realize, oh, no, no, no. It's not where we want to be. All right. Florida, that's when the monkeypox is going to leave. Who? They're going to have enough. Once they get to Florida, they're going to realize, oh, no, no, no. They're going to say, enough's enough?
Starting point is 00:15:26 It's not where we want to be. All right. Well, that is your front page news. Get it off your chest. 800-585-1051. If you need to vent, phone lines are wide open. Maybe something's bothering you. You just need to vent a little bit.
Starting point is 00:15:39 Again, 800-585-1051. Phone lines are wide open. It's The Breakfast Club. Good morning. The Breakfast Club. Good morning. The Breakfast Club. This is your time to get it off your chest. Whether you're mad or blessed, we want to hear from you on The Breakfast Club.
Starting point is 00:15:54 So if you got something on your mind, let it out. Yo, what up, Salim? This is Marty Grace. What's up? Marty Grace, my brother. What's up, King? What up, bro? Chili.
Starting point is 00:16:04 Yo, guys. I'm Salim. I owe you Grace, my brother. What's up, King? What up, bro? Chillin'. Yo, guys. I'm Charlamagne. I owe you money, Charlamagne. Talk to me. You always talking about hurt people hurt people, right? Yes, sir. I made a t-shirt that says people hurt people. Check your mental health before you hurt people.
Starting point is 00:16:19 So I've been selling them, so I'm like, I owe Charlamagne money. Because he's the one that came up with the concept. No, hurt people hurt people is an old saying, man. That's not nothing I made up. Like, that's a saying that's way older than me, brother. But if you want to send money up there, you can. Yeah, I'd rather a shirt. I'd rather a shirt.
Starting point is 00:16:40 Send Charlamagne a shirt. I'll take some money. I got six kids. I'll take some money. I'll take. Well, look, give me your cash app. I'll send it to you. Have a good one, brother.
Starting point is 00:16:49 I love you guys, man. Peace, King. Oh, Charlamagne. Yes, sir. Charlamagne, I got my daughter's books are done. What's going on, bro? Are you publishing children's books yet or what? I am not publishing children's books yet, but I do plan to in the future through Black
Starting point is 00:17:03 Privilege Publishing. Okay, got you. Yes. I got you. Love you guys, man. Have a blessed day. Stay safe Black Privilege Publishing. Okay, gotcha. Love you guys, man. Have a blessed day. Stay safe. And stay away from that a**hole. That what? That a**hole talk. Okay. I don't know what he's talking about.
Starting point is 00:17:17 Speaking of, not what he was talking about, but speaking of the books, Anita Kopach's Shallow Waters, the paperback will be out August 9th. Okay. A love letter to Yemi Yaw. The paperback will be out August 9th. For everybody who already got the hardcover, the paperback will be out August 9th. Okay. A Love Letter to Yemi Yara. The paperback will be out August 9th. For everybody who already got the hardcover, the paperback will be out August 9th on Black Privileged Simon and Schuster Publishing. Yeah, we just approved our softcover book, so excited about that. Okay, from hard to soft.
Starting point is 00:17:36 Oh, my goodness. Kind of backwards how the book industry does it. It does, right? Yeah. Yes. It should be soft and hard. Soft to hard. Yeah, yeah, because it should be like soft, right?
Starting point is 00:17:44 And then when people go out there and get it, that means there's excitement for it. Right. And then that's when it should get hard. Or it could be hard, then the book comes out. Yeah, but then it's like you get off, and then it goes back. So, whatever. Hello, who's this? This is Wayne Wiggle from Tampa.
Starting point is 00:17:58 Hey, what's up, bro? Get off your chest. What's going on, NG? This is my first time getting told. I be hearing y'all up every morning. I listen to y'all up every morning. I heard y'all about the monkeypox. Y'all said when it get to Florida,
Starting point is 00:18:10 it's going to be like, oh, we don't need to deal, but we got 41 cases in Tampa right now. You know, he might say cases are rising in Florida, and Solomon said, oh, man, now that they're in Florida, they're going to leave. Yeah, monkeypox ain't going to want to stay in Florida.
Starting point is 00:18:25 Hey, Solomon, boy, you a trip. Yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, man, now that they're in Florida, they're going to leave. Yeah, monkeypox ain't going to want to stay in Florida. Hey, Solomon, boy, you a trip. Yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo. I promise, boy, you be having me rolling every morning with that. Yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo. I never heard nothing like that. Listen, you know. I'm doing what y'all doing. Yes, sir.
Starting point is 00:18:38 You know the craziest people in America come from the Bronx and all of Florida. Monkeypox ain't going to want no part of Florida. That's facts. Boy, you be killing me with that, boy. All right, man. The disgraces. Get it off your chest. 800-585-1051.
Starting point is 00:18:52 If you need to vent, hit us up now. It's The Breakfast Club. Good morning. The Breakfast Club. Wake up, wake up. Wake your ass up. This is your time to get it off your chest. Whether you're mad or blessed, we want to hear from you on The Breakfast Club.

Starting point is 00:19:22 We throw our mochi. Man, I'm tired of being a single mother and just the feeling of knowing that his daddy ain't there. And he, you know what I'm saying? Where's his daddy? His daddy just not in the life? He's in jail. Oh, wow. How long you got?
Starting point is 00:19:38 Honestly, I don't know. But what did he do allegedly? He was using drugs and he was just out there on the road looking for people's stuff to steal, stuff like that. So you're going to sit for a couple of years? Yeah. I'm sorry for you, mama. It just hurts for my kid.
Starting point is 00:19:58 Are you dating or are you waiting for homie to get out? No, I'm definitely not waiting for him to get out. I'm single and I'm just trying to focus on myself right now because I know that's what I need. True indeed. So what do you need from us this morning? Just to send you some positive energy, some love, some light? Yes.
Starting point is 00:20:13 I love listening to y'all in the morning. See, I work for FedEx out of Albany and I gotta go from Mulcher to Albany every morning and I listen to y'all. Y'all crack me up, man. Y'all are so inspirational. And I love Angela Yee. I got her on Facebook Live. Like, she is amazing. Well, thank you, Queen.

Starting point is 00:21:26 Hello, how you doing? Good morning. My name is Alex. Good morning, everybody. Good morning. Get it off your chest. Right now, I'm just, well, I have a cramp right now, and it's very painful. I mean, besides that, like, the morning is so beautiful right now.
Starting point is 00:21:40 It's so beautiful. I love that honest answer. I love that honest answer, bro. How'd you get a cramp? I'm just curious. How'd you get a cramp? Cramp? Listen, I tried to stand up and, you know, do a little dance for Beyonce just now, but
Starting point is 00:21:52 you know, the way this cramp is working out, it stopped all of that. What song you was dancing to, Break My Soul? I mean, yes, yes. Listen, that album that came out, I didn't get a chance to listen to it. I don't have a title yet, but, you know, I'm listening faithfully on the breakfast card.
Starting point is 00:22:10 Oh, yeah, you're missing out, bro. It's a great, great, great, great project. My favorite song is Heated. Uncle Johnny made my dress that she spandexed. She looks a mess. Wait, that's not off the Lion King album, right? No, man. It's off the Renaissance album. Okay, because there was one song that sounded very familiar from that album, too. I don't know if it was the same woman on there, man. It's off the Renaissance album. Okay, because there was one song that sounded very familiar from that album, too.
Starting point is 00:22:27 I don't know if it was the same woman on there, though. Uncle Johnny made my dress that cheap, Spandex. She looks so messed up. Yes! Thank you, guys. All right. Well, you have a great morning, man. You sound so excited, so lively.
Starting point is 00:22:39 I love it. I love the energy. Have a great morning, everyone. You track this day like no other, sir. What? Exactly. That's how I felt just now when Envy said that, everyone. You tackle this day like no other, sir. What? Exactly. That's how I felt just now when Envy said that, sir. I feel you, bro.
Starting point is 00:22:49 I didn't get it either. I thought you was like, I really didn't hear you say day. I just heard you say D. That's what I thought you said. What that lady said, man. What lady? Where's the audio? What lady?
Starting point is 00:23:01 Taylor, put the audio in. You went to see the lady? No, I was at the gas station yesterday getting me a water, and the lady said, you look like Envy. Let's play the audio. Starting point is 00:29:04 It's about time. What's going on rumor report rumor report this is the rumor report with angela yee on the breakfast club now nikki minaj's father's killer was sentenced to one year in prison i don't know if you remember but early in 2021, the person responsible for running into Nicki Minaj's dad only got one year in prison. They said he actually hit him and left the scene of a crime.
Starting point is 00:29:33 And you only get a year for that? You only get a year? His license is suspended for six months, have to pay a $5,000 fine and a year in prison. That's wild. He was facing seven years in jail, but the judge stood by his promise of sentencing to one year behind bars. I mean, I might can understand a sentence like that if you hit somebody by accident
Starting point is 00:29:55 and you didn't leave the scene. And you stayed, right. You know what I mean? But hitting somebody and then taking off, all you get is a year? Wow. And he didn't turn himself in. They said Nassau County Police three days later
Starting point is 00:30:06 after they found the car in question with an altered appearance in a detached garage. So he knew he did it, obviously. He got to be a white man. Yes.
Starting point is 00:30:15 Oh, okay. Yes, which is so sad. Sad, tragic. Definitely rest in peace and always sending healing energy. Now, also, Nicki Minaj was out and about yesterday.
Starting point is 00:30:24 She said she was shopping and she was mistaken for another artist yeah on my way home i'm like you know what i asked the driver to drop me off at this store i go up to the cash register and the man at the register he started looking at me like you know he don't want to like kind of blow my cover so he goes and he's so serious but he was mad excited so i'm like you know like of course like global icon superstar i'm like you know thinking in my head it's okay he leans in and with all seriousness he said i've been listening to you all day he was like that old school is my favorite so i was like kind of hurt he was like that one with you and trick daddy sir i get it, man.
Starting point is 00:31:05 You know, when I'm out and about and people be like, Morris, Morris, you know, I love you and best man and stuff like that. I get it. I get it. All right. Now, mystical, you know, mystical recently was arrested for rape this week and he has been denied bond following his arrest this weekend. And he has to sit in jail until his first court date. He's charged with multiple felonies including first degree rape, domestic abuse battery, strangulation, and robbery.
Starting point is 00:31:31 This is a different charge? A different charge. This is a new charge. There's all types of things. They said that he allegedly punched her, choked her. He pulled out her braids allegedly through rubbing alcohol on her.
Starting point is 00:31:43 It's a whole bunch of things. I feel like I've heard this headline a few times in my life, though. You have. You have. Actually, I believe Mr. Cole actually went to jail for it. I remember that. He served some time for this. So this is a new case.
Starting point is 00:31:53 So we'll see what happens with that. And then some good news. John Legend and Chrissy Teigen are expecting another baby. Now, this is two years after she talked about the loss of a child. She had a miscarriage. So she is pregnant again. So congratulations to John Legend and Chrissy Teigen. Congratulations to the legends.
Starting point is 00:32:12 All right. And that is your rumor report. Now, when we come back, we got some front page news. Why are you standing up, bro? Because I don't do this. You don't do what? I don't do this front page news stuff. So you got to stand up?
Starting point is 00:32:24 Why are you standing up for? I'm moving over here looking at the other papers. Oh, your paper's over there? Oh, alright. Why they didn't put them in front of you? I don't know why they didn't put it in front of me. So we gotta give you some front page news. We'll tell you about scientists say we just had the shortest date on record. First of all, I want y'all to know that was on my birthday, okay?
Starting point is 00:32:40 I slowed things down for my birthday. Don't worry about it. I'm not gonna make that a habit. Y'all gonna have to realize How special I am at some point Okay And the supernatural magical powers That I possess But we'll talk about it When we come back
Starting point is 00:32:50 Yeah I mean It's one of those things We do everything short On your birthday right Short guys Short days Short penis Short everything
Starting point is 00:32:56 We'll talk about it When we come back And you wonder why Your son thinks you gay My son doesn't Yes he does The lady in the You wonder why
Starting point is 00:33:02 Your son thinks you gay The lady in the gas Thinks you gay You wonder why Your son thinks you gay It's The Breakfast Club. Good morning. The Breakfast Club.
Starting point is 00:33:07 Your mornings will never be the same. When it's time to get with someone special, the best way to do it is with Magnum large-size condoms. That gold foil wrapper is a badge of honor, and it means you're protected. And you take care of things with comfort. Accept no substitutes. Bring the pleasure with the gold standard. Magnum large-size condoms. Accept no substitutes. Bring the pleasure with the gold standard. Magnum. Large size condoms.
Starting point is 00:33:26 Morning everybody. It's DJ Envy. Angel E. Charlamagne Tha Guy. We are The Breakfast Club. Let's get in some front page news. Now scientists say that the earth might have had its shortest day on record. Tell them what day that was.
Starting point is 00:33:41 June 29th. Boom. Dropping the clues bombs for me. That was my 44th born day. Now it makes sense. Tell them what I did. You used to tell us that you rode the short bus to school. I never said that. You're very short. You have a small pee-pee
Starting point is 00:33:54 and on that day... Now you know I got a small pee-pee, King. June 29th marked the fastest day in at least 60 years. If you're going to tell it, tell it! That's because the Earth's rotation, which causes the sun to rise and set in the sky, has lately been going just a little bit quicker than normal, making
Starting point is 00:34:09 for days that aren't exactly 24 hours in length. So, you know, basically, it's a little short. When you say your penis size is 7 inches, it's not really 8, it's really 7. It's 7 and 3 fourths. It's 8 when it's warm. That was on seven uh it's seven it's seven and three fourth it's eight when it's warm it's all right but that was on my birthday i made the earth spin faster because i was actually
Starting point is 00:34:30 trying to get the day over with that's what i was actually trying to do i was trying to get through my uh birthday because i had vacation in a couple of days so i made all of the days spin a little bit faster just to get to vacation quicker and then when i got on vacation i slowed everything down i bet if you look from July 2nd to July 10th, the earth was moving slower. I did that on purpose, bro. I know what I'm doing out here. I know what I'm doing. Me and God got a thing.
Starting point is 00:34:53 Your day is just, everything is just little. Alright, now Biden, he signs an executive order helping women travel for abortions. This executive order also helps women travel out of states for medical care to allow them to provide reproductive health care
Starting point is 00:35:09 for women who live in states where abortions are being banned. With a record turnout, voters of Kansas defeated a ballot initiative to remove the right to choose an abortion from the Kansas Constitution.
Starting point is 00:35:29 That's a band-aid. We don't need a band aid. We need a surgery. You know what I'm saying? You got to do something to actually protect the rights of people because your inaction caused this situation to happen. You knew you should have been expanded that damn Supreme Court. And now we're in this situation. That's a band aid. Now also Kamala Harris speaks about how a woman's body works. Need to actually learn how a woman's body works. But when you understand how a woman's body works, you will understand that the parameters that are being proposed mean that for the vast majority of women by the time she realizes she is pregnant she will effectively be prohibited from having access to reproductive health care that would allow her to choose what happens to her body all right now also ge, Georgia residents can now claim embryo as a dependent for $3,000 on their state taxes. An embryo. You made embryo sound like a person.
Starting point is 00:36:31 I was like, who the hell is embryo? No, an embryo. An embryo. An embryo. That's what I said. No, you didn't. You just said you can claim embryo. You can claim an embryo. You're just going to be claiming kids named embryo? Okay.
Starting point is 00:36:39 You can now claim embryo. There's somebody out there named embryo wondering why they're getting claimed. You know what I mean? There's nobody out there named embryo. I bet somebody out there named Embryo wondering why they're getting claimed. You know what I mean? On people's taxes. There's nobody out there named Embryo. I bet you there's somebody named Embryo on this planet. No, no. But now you can get money back for your unborn child with a detectable human heartbeat. That makes sense.
Starting point is 00:36:55 Yeah. Absolutely. So I can claim an embryo on my taxes, basically. With a heartbeat, correct. Mm-hmm. All right. Well, that is your Front Page News. Now, when we come back, Y.K. Osiris will be joining us All right. Well, that is your front page news.
Starting point is 00:37:08 Now, when we come back, YK Osiris will be joining us. Yes. R&B singer. He signed to Def Jam. We're going to chop it up when we come back. He got some new music out too, right? Because I know that he had that song, Worth It. And then, you know, he kind of just became known for like social media antics. But now he's got new music out.
Starting point is 00:37:20 Yeah. He has a new single. It's called Be My Girl. A new video and single. We're going to talk to him next. So don't move. It's The Breakfast My Girl. A new video and single. We're going to talk to him next. So don't move. It's The Breakfast Club. Good morning.
Starting point is 00:37:26 The Breakfast Club. Power 105.1. The Breakfast Club. Your mornings will never be the same. Morning, everybody. It's DJ Envy, Angela Yee, Charlamagne Tha God. We are The Breakfast Club. We got a special guest in the building.
Starting point is 00:37:44 There you go. Y.K. Osiris, welcome. What's going on? Jacksonville Zone. How are you, young brother? I feel good. I feel blessed. How you feel?
Starting point is 00:37:52 Blessed, black, and highly favored, man. Yes, sir. Yes, sir. Remember the first time I met you? No, I don't. When was the first time? You was in the airport coming to New York to sign your deal. Oh, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:38:02 You was coming to sign your deal. We was in the airport together, and you was like, I'm about to come to New York, and I'm about to sign your deal. Oh, yeah, yeah. He was coming to sign your deal. We was in the airport together and he was like, I'm about to come to New York and I'm about to sign my deal with Def Jam. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And I was like,
Starting point is 00:38:11 all right. He was like, no, no, I'm serious. I'm about to sign my deal with Def Jam and I'm going to be on The Breakfast Club. Did you know who he was?
Starting point is 00:38:17 I remember that. I didn't know who he was. He came up to me. I didn't know who he was at first. He was like, I'm a new artist. I'm from Jacksonville
Starting point is 00:38:22 and I'm going to sign and watch. I'm going to be big. Yeah. And then you are. Now, listen yeah we know the craziest people in America come from the Bronx and all of Florida right and you from Jacksonville Florida why is you wearing a sweater with a hoodie in 100 degree weather here in New York yeah you know it's crazy I just love sweaters man I love this man's sweater because I don't be outside like that I'd be inside so yeah I don't be like with a hat I'd be like inside or I'd be in the car I just like go quick places but I don't be outside like that. I be inside. So I don't be like where the hot at. I be like inside or I be in the car.
Starting point is 00:38:45 I just go quick places but I don't be outside like hours. Oh, I get what you're saying. So you jump from the car to a building. It's cold. Got you, got you, got you.
Starting point is 00:38:53 Since we asking that, why did I see you jumping in a pool with socks on? Man, it's crazy because I, maybe because where I'm from. I know it's kind of weird.
Starting point is 00:39:02 Don't blame this on Jacksonville. Don't. Jacksonville said do not blame this on them. I like wearing socks in the pool. I've been doing that since I was young. I've been doing it. I got nice feet, though. I got pretty feet.
Starting point is 00:39:14 I don't believe you. Your feet trash? Nah. I get manicures and pedicures. I do, too. You get the buff? I get gel. Oh, you get gel?
Starting point is 00:39:22 Yeah, I get gel. Let me see. Yeah, I get gel. You do get gel. I can see his feet. I said, what? Yeah, I get jailed. Oh, you get jailed? Yeah, I get jailed. Let me see. Yeah, I get jailed. You do get jailed. I didn't see his feet. I said, what in the fuck? Yeah, I get jailed. So wait, socks are comfortable in the water for you? No, I just feel kind of good.
Starting point is 00:39:32 I don't like my feet in the water like that. Like, I don't know why. You take a shower with socks on too? No, no, no. So you're not making no sense. You said you don't like your feet in the water. Yeah, like in the pool. The pool, nah.
Starting point is 00:39:41 I don't know. It be feeling weird a little bit. Wait, wait. And you have sex, do you take your socks off? Oh, nah, nah, nah. I don't take them off. feeling weird a little bit wait when you have sex do you take your socks off oh no no no i'll take them off no you ashamed of your feet no yeah you are it's okay well let's show the streets why k osiris you're gonna show your feet you gotta show the streets your feet now my feet nice man i'm playing we don't believe you you got an extra toe or something? You got 11 toes? You got 11 toes down,
Starting point is 00:40:06 I got 12, 13 toes. Another thing, do you have bad luck when it comes to gambling? Because every time we see you online, you losing the bet.
Starting point is 00:40:16 Man, you know what's so crazy, man? That's why I got to get me a good PR. I mean, I be taking a lot of people's money.
Starting point is 00:40:21 They don't be sending it, though. Like, for real, like, they, you know, like, I be making bets, but they give what they don't be saying it though Like for real Like they You know like I be making bets
Starting point is 00:40:26 But they give What they want to give Just turn this on Just turn it on When you win Don't let They always turn it on When you lose
Starting point is 00:40:33 They do what they want To do with it But I be winning Like I be winning But they You know They find some way To put it out there
Starting point is 00:40:40 It's like Osai Got their money took But you know But the problem is That sometimes they say You don't pay too That's weird No no no That's not No Money on the wood Made problem is that sometimes they say you don't pay too No no no
Starting point is 00:40:45 Money on the wood made the game go good Who said he don't pay you? Remember with Drake Drake my brother That's my boy When we bet and gamble It's really about no money It's really about this fun
Starting point is 00:40:59 We bet $100,000 a shot It's like brother love That's my boy You said $100,000? We bet like $30,000 $100,000 a shot, but it's like brother love. You know, that's my boy. You said $100,000? Yeah, we bet like $30,000, $40,000. We bet like $100,000 a game. But with no intention of either one of you paying each other. No, it's not about the money.
Starting point is 00:41:15 So then why bet money? That's ass betting. I don't know. It just be brother junk. You also can't play with Drake like that because Drake money is long. You know what I'm saying? So I'd be like, bail $100,000. He'd be like, all right, bet.
Starting point is 00:41:28 And then I'd be like. You'd just be saying it. I'd be like, yeah. I'm hoping I win. Yeah. So you said Drake's your brother. You know, we heard you sing in his kitchen when you lost the bet one time. Yeah, I had to do that.
Starting point is 00:41:40 We saw you in his pool with socks on. We saw you in his pool with socks on. We saw you on his plane. How'd that relationship started? How y'all got, y'all close, close. Man, I was a, I'm still a big Drake fan. Like, even before Way, like, just who I inspired. Like, he inspired me a lot.
Starting point is 00:41:54 Like, it's crazy. Like, he just understand the game, man. When I first met him is when I first started. We weren't really close like that, but he knew who I was. But he started to know that, like, started to see the person I was when I first started. We weren't really close like that, but he knew who I was. But he started to know that, like, started to see the person I was when I came around him. And I kept seeing him, kept seeing him.
Starting point is 00:42:10 Everywhere he go at, I go at. So he just kept seeing my face. So you was stalking Drake? I wasn't really stalking. Just like, you know, whatever I said I wanted to do, I had to do it. So I just know if he kept seeing my face,
Starting point is 00:42:23 eventually you're going to be like, you know. And I got good if he kept seeing my face eventually you're gonna be like you know and I got good personality his personality is crazy like he's a good genuine person he likes to have fun yeah he like have fun person to be around so you know we got the connection and you know he mess with me hard and then he good people man for real like he just he just he shows me like and it teaches me a lot you know I mean is me being around him his lifestyle I live my career his stuff is incredible and nobody can't like can't tell me nothing else about it as he done the verse for you yet for sure but it's not about music though you guys make a bet for that like I did this version show yeah it's not about music I never asked about no music like right never
Starting point is 00:43:08 no i never asked about because you never want people to feel that pressure like i'm around no it's not never about that with bro like bros really like genuine like it's really about fun when i come around here like like even him inviting me on his plane is in is that that's insane like where'd y'all go we went to l.a okay toronto it was lit and you know he said come on and it was lit he just tested positive for COVID too I saw you was with him oh yeah I just got tested well what do you bring to the table when it comes to drink it's like a party right you gotta bring something what do you bring fun like personality this is the fun this being being funny like when you saw the saw the video me um I'm wearing socks. Stuff like that.
Starting point is 00:43:45 It's just, I be me. I don't be scared to be me and I feel like that's what he loves about me the most is that, you know, I'm a fun and I remind him like a little brother, you know what I mean? Like, you know, like one of the cousins that he had before, you know what I mean? Stuff like that. So I feel like he just. I can see that. I mean, I see that just watching you on social media.
Starting point is 00:44:00 I'm like, this dude got a good personality. He don't really take things too serious. The most serious I ever saw you, really, was when you was mad at Tory Lanez. Yeah, yeah. That was another time. That was another time. That's the time you DM'd him. He was about to come the next day. He was like, I'm coming tomorrow. I don't remember why he was mad at somebody. I know you're talking about
Starting point is 00:44:16 when I hit you up. Yeah, yeah. I don't know what it was. I don't know what it was. I was looking to DM, but yeah, you was mad about it. He was like, I'm coming tomorrow. But did Tory Lanez ever reach out after you expressed that you didn't appreciate him doing that?
Starting point is 00:44:28 Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, he reached out, he's good people. You know, ain't no pressure,
Starting point is 00:44:32 it's all over, bro. Like, it ain't no pressure. I just, it's the same thing that I just don't rock with, you know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:44:37 You know, the energy cool, but I just don't, like me, I'm a good person, so you know, if I message you, I message you hard
Starting point is 00:44:42 and I respect it back, you know what I mean? So it's all love, though he good people, I love his music, you know what I mess with you I mess with you hard And I respect it back You know what I mean So it's all love He good people I love his music You know what I mean So it's no It's no animosity
Starting point is 00:44:49 None of that It seem like it's all fun and games Until somebody try to Say something about The actual art I was gonna say that Right right It's fun and games
Starting point is 00:44:57 But the thing is I don't be tripping Cause you know Certain things I put on myself Like as I said So if somebody did laugh At a comment It probably wouldn't You know It probably wouldn't probably meant to be how they how I thought it
Starting point is 00:45:08 meant to be you know I mean it probably was some fun jump but I just don't when it comes to my art my music it's like no I'm gonna support support if you don't laugh at least post it I mean like it's cool though anyway just no animosity I hit him up we talk so ask that since you play so much and you have so much fun online Do you feel like sometimes it's like people take it too far like they don't they cross that line? Yeah, yeah, but I can't get mad about it cuz I put it on myself, you know, I put so much Funny things out there. It's like, you know, it's like what can you say about it now? Like okay cool, sometimes sometimes now you just gotta be serious now
Starting point is 00:45:43 You got it. You gotta you got to have that boundary. You know what I mean? You know you can be funny, but make sure you put out good music. Make sure you be consistent. All right, we got more with YK Osiris when we come back. Don't move.
Starting point is 00:45:54 It's The Breakfast Club. Good morning. Good morning, everybody. It's DJ Envy, Angela Yee, Charlamagne Tha Guy. We are The Breakfast Club. We're still kicking it with YK Osiris. Yee.
Starting point is 00:46:03 I think it's perfect, like, with the new song and the new video for Be My Girl when you posted the clip and you put out the song but just even getting caught in the girl's room by her father when he comes up the stairs and you're like, man, how am I going to get out of this one?
Starting point is 00:46:17 I thought that was very clever and it played really well into your personality. For sure, for sure. And guess what? The thing is about it, like, you know, I got someone's music that's crazy, you know, I'm starting to understand, you know,
Starting point is 00:46:29 like, just be consistent. Just drop and do what you gotta do. You know, I'm gonna be the last one to laugh, you know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:46:33 So it's all cool, it's all fun and games until, you know, I be the last one to laugh. Right. I'm a good person regardless, so I'm gonna do
Starting point is 00:46:39 what I gotta do and keep going hard. You ever get caught in a girl's room like that? I did. When her dad came home? Like, three three four times dance what happened daddy why didn't say I'm next what time I went into bed
Starting point is 00:46:52 what's up I went on the bed photo like really like for like an hour yeah like a hour hey so he came in it was he talking to his daughter or he came in and came back down? Nah he just came in and came back down like you like I'm here like just let him know I'm here and stuff like that. You ain't never got caught butt naked though like? Nah I did one time before too like by the mama though. Oh the mama okay okay okay. Now you can ask what you just said. Nah by the mama though bro, bro. What did the mama say? I was really ashamed. Like, I was ashamed. We bought ass naked, mama coming in. Yeah. What position was y'all in? I don't know what we was in.
Starting point is 00:47:32 I just knew that the mama just came in and bust in. I'm like, oh, my God. Like, I got six sisters, so I be like, I don't like things like that. I'm like, what? Yeah. What did she say? What did she say? What did she say?
Starting point is 00:47:43 He said, oh, my. Like, oh, my. I'm like, I'm sorry. I'm so sorry. You just stopped. Yeah, I just stopped. I was froze. Damn.
Starting point is 00:47:51 Then you had to walk out and walk past the mom on the way out? No, I didn't walk out. I just, I stayed in the, I stayed. You stayed? Like, she was, like, appalled. So she did, like, like. You would have never did that with no daddy. Yo, yo, yo, yo.
Starting point is 00:48:02 Hell no. You can't say after that. Yo, we would have been tussling now. Going crazy. Tussling now going crazy tussling naked what is going on over here we would have been we would have been we would have been getting at it now i see you i see you throw your shot at lizzo oh yeah did she respond yeah she has a boyfriend yeah i saw that yeah i just that is a real florida i've been i've been dealing with her we've been talking like yeah we've been in the chat man don't you get lizzo in no trouble now no no no i'm talking
Starting point is 00:48:32 about we've been in the chat like by some music stuff okay okay about that but you know yeah the word she ain't she ain't get back at you when you hollering no no no she ain't get back at me she got a man yeah you knew that You knew that when you sent the DM? Not at that moment. Okay. Everybody probably was like, you know she got a man. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:48:49 For sure. They didn't come like, hey man, she got a whole man. Okay, cool. Who else you shot your shot with? What are you getting at? I don't be really
Starting point is 00:48:56 trying to holler at nobody like that. Now, don't you have a baby on the way? I got a baby now, yeah. Okay. Yeah, he was just born. Yeah, he was just born
Starting point is 00:49:03 like two, three weeks ago. Congratulations, man. I appreciate it, man. She got a girl or a boy?, yeah. Okay. He was just born, yeah. He was just born like two, three weeks ago. Congratulations, man. I appreciate it, man. She got a girl or a boy? It's my boy. Okay. Yeah, his name is Mary. Oh, that's so nice.
Starting point is 00:49:13 How you feel about that? That's your first? That's my second. Dang it. Okay, okay, okay. Yeah, my little boy, four. But I feel good about it. It's a great thing to understand the manhood of being a dad.
Starting point is 00:49:22 You know what I mean? It's lit. It's not, you know, that's not no fun and games, knowing that you got a child. So it's cool. And I of being a dad. You know what I mean? It's lit. It's not, you know, that's not no fun and games knowing that you got a child. So it's cool. And I'm a great dad. I make sure my child's straight.
Starting point is 00:49:31 So there's no problem with that. Do you think fatherhood has changed you any? For sure. Yeah, perspective. But, you know, I'm still playful. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:49:38 I play around sometimes. But it's like, hey, yeah. It ain't gonna change you until you have a girl. Yeah, I know, right? He told us. It really ain't gonna change. You're gonna get more playful. Girls make you, about to change until you have a girl. Yeah, I know, right? He told us, man.
Starting point is 00:49:45 It really ain't going to change. You're going to get more playful. Girls make you even more soft. Having that girl, bro, I feel like it's going to make me be more serious. More like, yeah, you got to. I think you really know what love is when you get girls. Right. Girls know how to manipulate their fathers more.
Starting point is 00:50:00 Right, right. I mean, look, you had that song, um ann marie had that song with you on a secret so when it comes to relationships right right do you feel like it's better for you to keep things low when you're dating somebody and not put it out there like that uh i don't really to be i don't like relationships i don't i don't be getting involved in that man i don't really i don't really what does the woman that you're dealing with know this? Or is this the first time she's hearing this? I just don't be, I don't, I don't, like, me as a man, I just understand that, you know, it just, you know, I'm young.
Starting point is 00:50:33 I can't put myself in that position. So I don't really get in my, I don't really, like, for me to, you know, and I know how I am, and me to put a woman in that position, you know, and just doing what I gotta do, I'm not about to hurt no woman about that. Like, I might as well just don't even do it at all.
Starting point is 00:50:49 So, you know, and I know what I'm gonna do. I know how I am. So it's like, why hurt somebody else? Because you wanna, you know,
Starting point is 00:50:55 love or you wanna force a relationship. So I don't be involved in that. Like, I be, you know, chill, let me do me.
Starting point is 00:51:01 You know what I mean? Until I'm like 30, 70 years old, I feel like I'm like, you know, yeah, you know, but right now, nah. So you're lying to these do me you know what i mean like until i'm like 30 years old i feel like i'm like you know yeah you know but right now no you're lying to these women when you when you make a song like be my girl be my girl yeah nah i'm not right you know i you know it's called be my girl yeah i mean you want to go but you i ain't got to be your man to treat you like a man i mean i don't got to be your man to treat you say that again i don't got to be your man to treat you like a man right so he'll treat you well i'll treat you good don't gotta be your man to treat you like a man. Right.
Starting point is 00:51:25 So he'll treat you well. I'll treat you good regardless. I got you. I got you. I got you. She can play around too though. Like you can play around. For sure. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:51:31 For sure. And you even said, you said, I don't care who had it first. Yeah. I don't care who had it first. I don't care if you have 90 bodies. What if it was Drake?
Starting point is 00:51:41 That's different. That is. Nah. That's. Nah. I got. What's different about it? Either that's... Nah, I got... What's different about it? Either you don't care, you don't care.
Starting point is 00:51:48 Nah, I'm dealing with some snipers, too. That's my boy, though. That's my boy. Like, I gotta ask you, hey, you know, because I don't want you to come around me. Between French Montana and Drake, they is some snipers, bro. Yeah, they is some snipers,
Starting point is 00:51:59 but I'm like, every girl... Hey, you... You gotta ask. How many say yes? I'm just curious. That's not my business. That's not my business. So why are you asking then if it ain't your business?
Starting point is 00:52:11 I got to know myself. Let me know because you're going to end up coming around. I don't want to make you feel weird. And I'm sure Drake will tell you though. I'm sure he'll tell you. That's that man's business. He might not even remember. Nah, that's that man's business. Whatever he got going on. But I'm sure he put you on TV every day. That's that man's business. He might not even remember. Nah, that's that man's business.
Starting point is 00:52:26 Whatever he got going on, but I'm waxed. Man, Drake probably done sneak dissed you on a verse, man. I bet you. How about have you ever been with a girl and they took one of your chicks from you? Like you was trying to holler at somebody and had a girl around and then... Like somebody else took my chick? Like a Drake or a French or... Nah, nah, nah.
Starting point is 00:52:44 Hell nah. It's deals first. I get deals first. But somebody's like somebody else took too much it like a Drake or French or nah It's deals first I get deals first like no like a lot of a lot of because I'd be round they don't really Do things like that like if if you want a girl they not even once like got nothing to do with it, you know, okay Yeah, but right I'm talking about right then and there. I ain't about to take your girl after I see her talking to you. Yeah. And that's you, my boy. Like, nah. Have you ever gotten into it? Okay, because I know you've discussed this in your music, too.
Starting point is 00:53:14 Have you ever gotten into it with a guy over his girl? Like, you've been the side guy and then got caught? Nah. Hell no. Hell not play that. I'm too play for that. No. I don't do things like that.
Starting point is 00:53:25 Ain't nothing wrong with being the side guy. Hell, I'll be the side guy. Yeah. You ain't fighting. I ain't fighting, though. Yeah, yeah, yeah. True, true. Because they might approach you.
Starting point is 00:53:32 You know what? I can't wait. You messing up at home? Come on, Will. For real. Why do you think you weren't consistent for a period of time when you were like, I had to realize I had to keep putting out music? Man, the industry, man.
Starting point is 00:53:44 There ain't no game. You got to be mentally focused and mentally ready. Like, I got to sit by the ocean sometimes and be like, and sit back and know who the hell you is. Because there ain't no game. Because, you know, a lot of people have mental, you know, things going on just because of that reason. So it's like, you know, you overthinking a lot.
Starting point is 00:54:04 You doing things you you you went by the internet so it's like hey man like sometimes you just gotta relax chill and understand who you are what you want to be because you'll get lost in the sauce real quick you know i mean by the time you know it you'll be somewhere that you thought you would never be at so i just i feel like me taking that break off that mental, for that mental space, I feel good now. And I got a child now, so I feel good.
Starting point is 00:54:28 And I like, for me, and you see all that funny stuff on the internet, that's the only reason why I do it. That's the only reason why you see me doing
Starting point is 00:54:35 funny stuff because I love that makes me happy. Seeing other people happy and having fun make me happy. That's my, that's my thing. All right,
Starting point is 00:54:44 well, we got more with YK Osiris when we come back. It's the Breakfast Club. Good morning. That's my thing. All right, well, don't move. We got more with Y.K. Osiris when we come back. It's The Breakfast Club. Good morning. Good morning, everybody. It's DJ Envy, Angela Yee, Charlamagne Tha Guy. We are The Breakfast Club. We're still kicking it with Y.K. Osiris, R&B singer.
Starting point is 00:54:56 Charlamagne? Is the industry everything you thought it was going to be? For sure not. I just, what, you got to, for you to be a boss, it's like playing with cards that you don't know what you're dealing with. So it's like, you got to just stick with it and strive. You know what I mean? If you know what you're dealing with, guess what?
Starting point is 00:55:11 You got to deal with it. And what comes with being a boss? You got to toughen up and don't cry. And there's a lot of people that I know like you and DJ Ambien, Miss Angela. It's like I know y'all come in every morning. So it's like you got to deal with it, whatever it whatever comes with so that's what you got to do with life like whatever it comes with you got to do it stick up people don't pick your head up and stop but I don't say toughen up and don't cry I'd be like sometimes I
Starting point is 00:55:34 gotta cry you definitely gotta cry you be crying sometimes? Hell yeah especially in therapy be crying my god damn eyes out I gotta go to therapy I don't believe in that therapy stuff but try it i know i want to try but i just don't believe in like i don't believe in it but it's cool though yeah i mean what you said about uh you know just expressing yourself how you like to laugh everybody heals differently like sometimes sitting down talking to somebody ain't the best right thing for you you know i mean yeah but i feel like you need me talking to somebody like
Starting point is 00:56:04 you give me all that information i'm like man man, I gotta see what I see this man or any restaurant Your business though, these are like me nothing man, I know you don't have a CD before You done had an STD before right? What? Hell no. You ain't never had an STD? Never in my life. Well you been to a doctor for some reason. For sure yeah. The doctor is not going to reveal your medical records just like a therapist is not going to reveal your records when you go in there and talk to them. Oh okay. Yeah yeah yeah they got to keep all that confidential.
Starting point is 00:56:36 I want to try though. I heard a lot about it. Let me ask you a question. When you went six times platinum did did you feel like, all right, I'm six times platinum. I have to look like I'm six times platinum. Meaning, I got to look like I'm getting all this money, even though you might not have been. Yeah, right. For sure. Yeah. Is that something that messed you up too?
Starting point is 00:56:55 Nah. Nah, not really. Not really. Because I've always been like that before Worthy became mine. I've always been like, if you don't got it, act like you got it. You know what I mean? Like, if you sad, act like you you happy do you ever overspend on the one time you lost your airing I think like $325,000 yeah one time they broke into your car so yeah yeah and he
Starting point is 00:57:17 was like I'm just gonna get a Hyundai so do you ever feel like financially you overspent on certain things yeah for sure man man went broke so got there quick man like I'm back there oh my like three years like two and a half got three years ago where it came up man I blew that money so got their fans man what did you buy I gave my mama like 250 and then by the time you know it taxes exactly I said cuz I ain't know like the tax do the taxes come on now they come out they come out during that year. By the time you know my account, I said, this is how much you owe. I said, shit.
Starting point is 00:57:49 How much did you owe? I think I owe, like, $190,000. $190,000? Yeah, something like that. But it was crazy. I, like, the money went so quick, bro. Like, when you don't have it, it's like when you get it, your mindset changes so many things. Like, you start buying so much things. How did you you change it because i know one time you was buying every
Starting point is 00:58:07 girl jacket every louis vuitton but i spent like 300 000 clothes man that's so stupid that's stupid man like i like i think financially and you were spending crazy money on haircuts that's another thing i remember yeah i was like i'm doing now I get a haircut every three days. How much was it? I was spending one time 500, but now I spend like 250. Ain't no way in hell.
Starting point is 00:58:30 Remember when he had the braids, the cornrows? That was fake. That was fake. Drake put you onto that plug. Nah,
Starting point is 00:58:38 he ain't got nothing. He had nothing to do with that. Drake braids ain't real. Tell the truth. Jimmy Butler did it too, right? He's just real. Tell the truth, why I came.
Starting point is 00:58:44 Nah, his junk is definitely real. You ran truth, YK. Jimmy Butler did it too, right? No, no, he's just real. Tell the truth, YK. Nah, nah. Nah, his junk is definitely real. You ran your fingers through his head? What? How you know that real? This man should have been crazy, man. What you mean? What's the craziest rumor you heard about yourself in this industry so far?
Starting point is 00:58:56 The craziest rumor? Yeah. I don't know about the rumors. What rumors, man? Nah, I ain't gonna say that. I heard about that, though, but I ain't about to say that. What? I ain't about to say that.
Starting point is 00:59:06 You and Diddy? You and Diddy? Yeah to say that you and Diddy you and Diddy yeah yeah you and Diddy you and Diddy what they say he was him and Diddy what I ain't never heard this why kid
Starting point is 00:59:13 they said he was how you knew that now I'm about to google cause I ain't never heard this that's why I said that nobody would ever say that one oh yeah so here goes Envy
Starting point is 00:59:22 they said they said he was Diddy's boy toy. What? I was in Jamaica with him. Oh, I see it now. See? I was in Jamaica with him. Why came Cyrus in Jamaica with his alleged boo Diddy? See?
Starting point is 00:59:34 Can we talk about Diddy's new boy toy? Why came Cyrus? Why you did this to Diddy, man? It's messed up, man. No, I know. Why you even bring that up, Envy? I'm just asking about rumors so he can clear it up. That's what the breakfast is.
Starting point is 00:59:44 I didn't even know that. You think he needed to clear that up'm just asking about rumors so he can clear it up. That's what the breakfast said. I didn't even know that. You think he needed to clear that up? There ain't nothing that needs to be cleared up. Who believed that? There ain't nothing to be cleared up. Then I said, I don't know what to have about that. I don't know what to have. Andy, what's the craziest rumor he heard about himself?
Starting point is 00:59:55 Let's just let this sit here for a while. Let this sit here for a while. You heard that? Yeah, I heard it, but I think it'd be crazy little talking stuff. When you heard it, what did you say to yourself? Because I know your people. I didn't hear about it. But your partners in Jacksonville was like bro what's up?
Starting point is 01:00:08 Because they already think the industry is a certain way. Definitely Duval. Nah nah nah. Like you said he ain't nobody. I ain't never heard that in my life. So a lot of people don't care about that. They ain't that people. Did you laugh or were you?
Starting point is 01:00:18 I was laughing. Was you in Jamaica with Diddy though? He said yeah. No. Oh okay okay okay. I was with a shawty. Alright but Diddy was there? No I was in Jamaica with Diddy. Diddy was there? Diddy was laughing. Yeah. Was you in Jamaica with Diddy though? He said yeah. No. Oh, okay, okay, okay.
Starting point is 01:00:26 I was with a shawty. All right, but Diddy was there? No, he was a whole other different. Oh, so they just made this up? Yeah, they made it up, yeah. Oh, Lord have mercy. Yeah, he was in a whole other different area. Like, he was like.
Starting point is 01:00:34 Have you ever met Diddy? Yeah. Okay, did he ask you to party? Yeah. Party, party? Why won't you party with me for your birthday, man? We've partied for my birthday before. You came to my party.
Starting point is 01:00:42 No, but me and my wife, we had a party. We had a party. We had a party. We had a party. We had a party. Party, party? Why won't you party with me for your birthday, man? We partied for my birthday before. You came to my party. No, but man, you ain't never really partied. You know what I'm saying? Man.
Starting point is 01:00:55 Don't be... Maybe put his fantasies on you. You crazy, man. Nah, man. Every time I move my dick, that man's the vibe. That motherfucker did it by me. Stop it. Excuse me, guys. That's stupid.
Starting point is 01:01:04 YK, that's a stupid one. I ain't gonna lie. That stupid room. Okay, but you ain't made it so you got that one and we got it before Not me and diddy oh no you did. yeah, I remember it. Some random dude on YouTube. His name was Drew? His name was Glitter. No, I ain't never met him before. His name was Glitter. His name was Glitter. And he said that Charlamagne paid for his bus ride. He did.
Starting point is 01:01:33 Wherever DC to Charlamagne's house. He probably did for real. No, I ain't never do it. You probably ain't tell him nothing. No. If I'm going to do it, I'm going to do it. Oh, you're going to go all the way with it. I'm going to do Diddy.
Starting point is 01:01:43 I'm going to do somebody. You got to do somebody that Oh, you're going to go all the way with it. I'm going to do Diddy. Uh-uh. I'm going to do somebody. It's crazy. You got to do somebody that can put you on. Right? What are you talking about? What are you saying? We were having a serious conversation over here. We're not about it.
Starting point is 01:01:55 We're not about it. What are we about? I want to be on Drake's plane. Why care if you're going to do it? Yo, why care? Nah, he crazy. Now what we were talking about was YK Osiris, you shot your shot as far as getting on power.
Starting point is 01:02:14 And we saw that 50 Cent responded and he said that he was thinking about you. He would be good. So have you followed up with that? Yeah, yeah, we be talking. Man, I'm messing 50. He a good man. He gonna, we winning works with it still yeah he gonna you know we just being yeah but it's coming yeah I definitely want TV yeah what would you say your role on there if you had your choice of what you would like to be oh no he was gonna come
Starting point is 01:02:36 over some a nice little you know I don't know what I don't know what it be be honest with you a lot of I do a lot of crazy stuff so I don't know what he'll come over you know if you gonna say to you when he see you? What? I heard Diddy touched your butt. Oh man, what the hell? I don't know what's going on. Am I lying?
Starting point is 01:02:52 Is 50 not gonna say that? He's obsessed with that. Obviously, this man's obsessed with Diddy. He said that once to 50. 50 said, you remember when 50 said that at the first one I did? Nah, man, no way. 50 told French.
Starting point is 01:03:02 50 said, I heard Diddy touched his butt. But I don't know nothing about you what you talking about, man. Oh, man. I hate you, man. Now, listen, was you really trying to get those fake braids off, though? Huh? What was that for?
Starting point is 01:03:13 No, it was just fun. It's been fun. It's been me. You're insane, man. I'm not. That's his fault. You need to grab me for the best insane person in the world. man let's get into your single you want to introduce it and by the way when is the album coming out cuz clearly this is all leading up to so oh yeah my own my

Yeah, so, yeah, that's the EP. It's like a little, it's crazy songs on there, though, but it's like a little short, short little thing I want you to listen to. You should let Drake EP the album. I was thinking that. Huh? I was thinking that.
Starting point is 01:03:58 Like, Drake EP the album. Yeah, yeah. No, I want him to, like, I want him to, I want him to, that's, what is it called? Executive Produce? Executive Produce. Yeah. Yeah. The album. Yeah, no, I want him to, like, I want him to, I want him to, um, that's, what is it called? Executive produce? Executive produce. Yeah. That's what you say, EP. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:04:08 The album. Yeah, YK. Yeah. No doubt. What does EP mean? Executive produce. EP. Oh.
Starting point is 01:04:16 EP. No, I didn't, like. Because he was talking about his EP, and then he said EP, I think. EP. I'm going, real EP, like, no, no, no, I was going to say, yeah, Drake should executive produce. What does YK mean? Young King. Oh, I like that. Yeah.. No, no, no, I was going to say, yeah, Drake should executive produce that. What does YK mean? Young King.
Starting point is 01:04:25 Oh, I like that. Yeah. What you thought of me? You kidding? Introduce the soul, YK. Hey, it's your boy, YK Osiris, and you're not listening to my new single, man. Be my girl. Let's get it.
Starting point is 01:04:37 All right, it's YK Osiris. It's the breakfast. Is your country falling apart? Feeling tired? Depressed? A little bit revolutionary? Consider this. Start your own country. I planted the flag.
Starting point is 01:04:49 I just kind of looked out of like, this is mine. I own this. It's surprisingly easy. There are 55 gallons of water, 500 pounds of concrete. Everybody's doing it. I am King Ernest Emmanuel. I am the Queen of Ladonia. I'm Jackson I, King of Capraburg.
Starting point is 01:05:02 I am the Supreme Leader of the Grand Republic of Mentonia. Be part of a great colonial tradition. The Waikana tried my country. My forefathers did that themselves. What could go wrong? No country willingly gives up their territory. I was making a rocket with a black powder, you know, with explosive warheads.
Starting point is 01:05:19 Oh my God. What is that? Bullets. Bullet holes, yeah. We need help! We still have the off-road portion to go. Listen to Escape from Zakistan. Listen to Post Run High on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. As a kid, I really do remember having these dreams and visions, but you just don't know what is going to come for you. Alicia Keys opens up about conquering doubt, learning to trust herself and leaning into her dreams. I think a lot of times we are built to doubt the possibilities for ourselves. For self-preservation and protection, it was literally that step by step. And so I discovered that that is how we get where we're going. This increment
Starting point is 01:07:14 of small, determined moments. Alicia shares her wisdom on growth, gratitude, and the power of love. I forgive myself. Starting point is 01:08:56 Yeah, things like J-Lo on her third divorce. Living. Girls trip to Miami. Mess. Ozempic. Messy, skinny living. Restaurant stealing a birthday Miami. Mess. Ozempic. Messy, skinny living. Restaurant stealing a birthday cake. Mess.
Starting point is 01:09:09 Wait, what flavor was the cake though? Okay, that's a good question. Hooking up with someone in accounting and then getting a promotion. Living. Breaking up with your girlfriend while on Instagram Live. Living. It's kind of mess. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:09:23 Well, you get it. Got it? Live, kind of mess. Yeah. Well, you get it. Got it? Live, love, mess. Starting point is 01:09:42 This is the Rumor Report with Angela Yee on The Breakfast Club. Now, over the weekend, I was in Dallas and Amon Shumpert was in Dallas as well. The only reason I know is when I was in the mall, one of the people at Foot Locker was like, hey, is this a New York weekend?
Starting point is 01:10:00 And I was like, well, why do you ask that? He was like, I just seen you and Amon Shumpert. So I guess Amon Shumpert had something to do in Dallas. Now, he was arrested. Amon Shumpert. So I guess Amon Shumpert had something to do in Dallas. Now, he was arrested. Amon Shumpert ain't from no damn New York. But he used to play for New York Knicks. That man is super Chicago. Whatever.
Starting point is 01:10:12 Everybody that played for a New York team ain't a New Yorker. I didn't say it. The kids said it. I didn't say it, but that's what he thought. But anyway, Amon Shumpert was arrested at Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport over the weekend. They said he was taken into custody after having a sizable amount of marijuana in his luggage. They said he had 6.12 ounces of a substance that they believe is marijuana. They said when they did the mobile test, it was marijuana.
Starting point is 01:10:37 Arresting people for marijuana in 2022 is just the stupidest thing in the world to me, especially when it's legalized in some states, decriminalized in some states like what is the point yeah and you know it's funny i was talking to taylor our producer i was actually in detroit and i was supposed to come back home my flight was canceled so i went straight to dallas and i had some marijuana with me uh and before i got back on the flight i was like you know what it's illegal in dallas so i was like you know what i'm not gonna carry it on the plane so i actually let my people have it in Dallas. So silly. And he had it, which makes no sense because it's legal in Jersey.
Starting point is 01:11:11 It's legal in L.A. where he was flying to. It's so silly. It's legal in Michigan. It's legal in certain places. It's stupid. But then he gets arrested for Dallas for having a small butt. That's why they have to legalize it federally. That's why they have to decriminalize it federally.
Starting point is 01:11:23 They have to. It makes no sense. But I was like, well, what made them open up his bag now this is the other thing he was also caught with a glock magazine and had 14 nine millimeter rounds in his bag no gun with just the magazine so clearly he grabbed the wrong bag on the way to the airport correct clearly so that's probably the reason why they opened the bag and they checked that now uh they said if convicted he faces up to two years in jail and a ten thousand dollar fine Grabbed the wrong bag on the way to the airport. Correct. Clearly. So that's probably the reason why they opened the bag and they checked that. Now, they said if convicted, he faces up to two years in jail and a $10,000 fine.
Starting point is 01:11:54 It's just silly to be convicting people for marijuana when you're legalizing it all over the country. You know what I mean? I agree. It makes no sense. It makes no sense whatsoever. Makes no sense. And you have people advocating to bring Brittany Griner home, you know, rightfully so, for the same type of charge. But then you got people over here locked up in jail for marijuana and getting locked up
Starting point is 01:12:13 for marijuana. But it's the thing. It makes no logical sense. I don't think he was charged for the rounds. Just the weed. He was just charged for the weed, which makes no sense. They probably feel like they can get him, they can hit him harder with the weed than the thing. Well, shout out to Marsha.
Starting point is 01:12:28 Because six ounces, that's distribution. But you know damn well he wasn't selling that weed, so knock it off. No, not at all. Not six ounces. Now, also, we got to congratulate Berner. You know, Berner is one of the owners of Cookies Marijuana, since we're talking about cannabis. Now, think about how contradictory this whole situation is. Berna makes history as the first cannabis CEO to cover Forbes magazine.
Starting point is 01:12:51 First of all, drop on the clues box for Berna. Very well-deserved. Yes. But the man is being celebrated by Forbes for being a huge legal marijuana dealer. But then you're locking up people like Amon Shumper for weed. The logic makes no sense, America. None whatsoever. Not at all. Come on, man. Not at all. Now, you gotta salute Tyler
Starting point is 01:13:10 Perry. Now, we salute Tyler Perry for so many different things, but it just came out recently that he paid Cicely Tyson a million dollars for one day's worth of work. Now, we talked about it. He just wanted her to know that she was appreciated. That's the type of thing when you do
Starting point is 01:13:25 when you just got money. Damn right. Dropping a Clues Bond for Tyler Perry. Now, she passed away at the age of 96 last year. She's been in the business 60 years. She did a bunch of Tyler Perry projects, including Diary of a Mad Black Woman, Why Did I Get Married,
Starting point is 01:13:40 Why Did I Get Married Too, and so on and so on. It kind of reminds me of the Jay-Z line when he says, I'm overcharging people for what they did to the cold crush. And it's like Tyler is overpaying people for what people did to them. Like, because, you know, Cicely never got her just due financially. And the fact that he gave her a million dollars for a day's work is amazing.
Starting point is 01:14:00 So salute to Tyler Perry. And what's that quote? It's that quote, you can't fly like eagles and give like ducks. Tyler Perry out here flying like an eagle. So you can't give like no duck. You gotta pay like he weigh. Yep, and Tyler Perry will be at Invest Fest over the weekend. Shout out to Earn Your Leisure. Scoot to EYL. Scoot to the
Starting point is 01:14:15 good brother Tyler Perry, man. Now the family of Prince, the artist Prince, have reached an agreement over the division of the $156 million estate following a six-year legal battle after he passed away. So they're going to be finally distributing the money to different family members. I guess the judge worked it out. They haven't said how they do it, but they finally did it.
Starting point is 01:14:35 James McMillan, friend to the room, said that he and his partners were relive. Well, what is that word? I wonder how many people are getting money that Prince don't want to get money. Like Prince side up. Okay. Who? No, I'm just going to change the words. Jason Miller said he's happy and thrilled to finally be done with this and that family
Starting point is 01:14:51 members can finally get some money. I wonder how many people are getting money that Prince don't want to get money. Like Prince in heaven side eye and starting folks. You know, I would have never gave you that. Never give you a dime. And lastly, Wendy Williams insists she is married to an NYPD officer. And we have audio. So yesterday when you called me and said that you were married, you know, I posted that.
Starting point is 01:15:13 Right. And now some guy named Will is talking to Page Six saying it's bullshit, making me look crazy out here. Now, everybody seems to have a problem with that. I'm married. So is there a problem that they don't want people to know you're married or they didn't want you to tell me you with that. I'm married. So is there a problem that they don't want people to know you're married or they didn't want you to tell me you're married? I'm married. I don't care. Who knows it?
Starting point is 01:15:30 I'm married. Well, you know, I'll f*** with you the long way. I'm always looking out for you. I just don't know what Will is doing or why he's out there trying to discredit me, but that's f***ing just me. Will sees no point in me getting married. But you know what?
Starting point is 01:15:42 F*** Will. 14 years I've known him and i've always said him in a good way talking about he's your official rep he is it's okay all right my guy jason lee you skipped this step though because you know they told page six and tmz that even though she did tell jason that she's not actually married right and as i said yesterday that's what i already believed like i totally believe she told jason that but she's not actually married come on man all right and that is your rumor report at some point you have to uh you know realize somebody may not be in the best mind right yeah and you should keep the cameras out of their face i I think. And let a person heal in peace.
Starting point is 01:16:25 But that's what people love. Like you seen it the other day, she was sleeping in the- In the Louis Vuitton store, everybody taking pictures. Come on, man. And then when they got in the car, they were asking her, and she was saying that her man was doing- You gotta stop. Yeah, you gotta stop.
Starting point is 01:16:37 You gotta let her heal. You gotta stop. Get the cameras out of her face. I agree. All right, well, who are you giving your donkey to? Four after the hour, man. I want to talk to this youngin'. It's a youngin' out there that I want to have a conversation with
Starting point is 01:16:47 because we've all used excuses, you know, to get out of something. Right? But you got to be very specific about what these excuses are. We'll talk about it four after the hour. All right. We'll get to that next. And also, Division will be joining us. R&B group out of Toronto.
Starting point is 01:17:00 That's The Breakfast Club. Good morning. The Breakfast Club. Your mornings will never be the same. Right now, everyone can enter Mattress Firm's Unjunk Your Sleep sweepstakes for the chance to win a dream bedroom
Starting point is 01:17:11 valued up to $2,500 plus $1,000 cash. To enter and view official rules, visit TheBreakfastClubOnline.com. Y'all the man, say the game. Don't get out of shape, man. You are a donkey. It's gang, donkey of the shade. Charlamagne. You are a donkey. It's time for Donkey of the Day.
Starting point is 01:17:28 Donkey of the Day does not discriminate. I might not have the song of the day, but I got the donkey of the day. So if you ever feel I need to be a donkey, man, hit it with the heat. It's a breakfast club, bitches. Who's donkey of the day today? Yes. Donkey of the Day for Thursday, August 4th goes to a young 18-year-old woman named
Starting point is 01:17:47 Janya Williams. Janya Williams. Janya Williams. I don't know. Miss Williams. Janya, I am sending you positive energy, love, and light. And before I even get started
Starting point is 01:17:57 and get to talking about why you're getting this hee-haw, I want you to know you will not be defined in life by this moment. Okay? You are not the worst thing you've ever done in your life. In fact fact i don't even know if this is the worst thing you've ever done because the reality is i find niggas niggas like this hilarious okay and i'm reading this story smh and lol and all at the same time because the more things change the more they stay the same what are you talking about uncle charlo what are you talking about brother lenard well i'm talking about excuses i'm talking about reasons okay not just any old excuses and
Starting point is 01:18:29 reasons but the kinds of excuses and reasons people use to get out of things all right those things can be school those things can be work those things can be activities with friends appearances whatever it is for some reason we as humans don't just tell the truth about why we can't do things and be at places until we get older okay when you get older and start understanding boundaries and start understanding that you have to disconnect sometime for your mental and emotional health you have no problem just letting people know that i'm not gonna be there okay why just don't have the energy i'm at capacity but man we was young, the excuses we would come up with to not be somewhere, especially at work or school. I was never good at it. Actually, I was so bad at it that to avoid telling a tall tale, I would just not show up.
Starting point is 01:19:15 Like literally don't even show up. No, no reasoning, no explanation, no nothing. All right. Got me fired. But I would rather do that than lie because I'm too afraid of the lie because I was always taught. You turn out to be what you pretend to be. So I'm not going to pretend to be sick. I'm not going to pretend, you know, someone in my family is sick. I'm not going to pretend something is wrong if it's not, because I don't want any of those things to happen in real life. That's why I'm laughing at young Jania, because she don't give a damn. But she's 18. We didn't give a damn at 18 either so let's give her grace but she was doing security at Lollapalooza that don't sound weird to anybody I don't want an 18 year old
Starting point is 01:19:52 nothing doing security I don't care what their gender is or what they identify as I don't want no 18 year old doing security nowhere especially at a festival as big as Lollapalooza okay all those people. So that's the first thing. But clearly, she didn't want to do security either because she wanted to leave work early. And when one wants to leave work early, one has to have a valid excuse.
Starting point is 01:20:14 Would you like to hear the reasoning Jania Williams came up with? Let's go to ABC7 for the report, please. An 18-year-old security guard is now facing charges after allegedly faking a mass shooting alert at Lollapalooza. Prosecutors say that she admitted doing it so that she could leave work early. As first reported by CWB Chicago, the guard is accused of sending a text message about
Starting point is 01:20:37 the bogus threat to a co-worker and creating a Facebook post with the threat. The co-worker alerted supervisors, which set off a chain reaction with Chicago police and the FBI. The threat later found to be fake. The guard is now charged with making a false terrorism threat. Look, if you're going to be stupid, be stupid, stupid. Okay. I am impressed by the attempt. I mean, that's a big, big lie to try to get off. Okay. Now look, it's 2022.
Starting point is 01:21:03 I understand some things people not arguing about. All right. You can say, you know, you might think you have COVID. All right. In fact, you can say you took a test and it's negative,
Starting point is 01:21:12 but you're not feeling well. So you don't want to take any chances. Or you can say you took a test and it's positive, but you have no symptoms. So it could be a false positive, but you just want to be safe and stay home. All right. Hey,
Starting point is 01:21:22 nowadays you could say you got a bump or two and you're not sure if that monkey pox is on your back all right there's a lot of different excuses that you can use but lying about a mass shooting oh it's too big of a lie jania all right because the thing about excuses you know that keep you from doing things that you don't want to do is they should only impact you that's it the only person who should have to deal with the consequences of your excuses is you so you can't send a message to a person's cell phone saying mass shooting at 4 p.m location lalapalooza we have 150 targets nobody gonna play with that which is why the person you sent that message to immediately called the report to threat to her supervisors and of
Starting point is 01:22:02 course they contacted the chicago police and FBI Joint Counterterrorism Task Force. Then young Jana returned to her post on the security team and when she got back she told someone that her sister had informed her of a threat of a mass shooting at Lollapalooza on Facebook. So now when you put something like that out there, people want to see. So Jana allegedly created a fake Facebook page under the name ben scott and she allegedly wrote a post that read massive shooting at lollapalooza grant park 6 p.m she took a screenshot of the post and sent it to the witness from her personal cell phone see that's
Starting point is 01:22:35 all too much it's all too much once you got to do all that that's god giving you the opportunity to think about the dumbness that you're doing and he and he or she is giving you the opportunity to think about the dumbness that you're doing. And he or she is giving you an opportunity to reverse course. But nope. Investigators traced the Apple iCloud and IP adi of the text now number back to Jaina, who was then brought to the CPD command center for questioning. But she allegedly admitted to sending the messages. And she said she did it because she simply wanted to leave work early. I want all you youngins and you adults to know that if you don't want to tell the truth, which I feel is always the best option, sometimes you just have to tell your boss,
Starting point is 01:23:15 I'm afraid I have to leave work early for whatever excuse you'll believe. That's all it boils down to. COVID's a good one. It is. It is. But once again, I don't want to play like good one. It is. It is. You know? But once again, I don't want to play like that because I don't really want COVID. You know what I mean?
Starting point is 01:23:29 I already had it. Don't want it again. All right? But whatever excuse your boss will believe is the one you run with. But listen, bosses, stop making us lie to you. All right? If we are going to go to the extreme to make up these kinds of lies, then you know it really must be something going on that I'm not ready to discuss with you or it's none of your business. Just let me leave your business so I can handle
Starting point is 01:23:48 mine. All right. I don't really believe any of that. I believe tell the truth, shame the devil. If you don't want to tell your boss the details, just say you have personal reasons and you need to leave now. That's the moral of the story. Whatever excuse you use has to be on you and cannot impact anyone else if you do it any other way you might end up charged with one felony count of making a false terrorism threat please give young january williams the sweet sounds of the hamilton's oh now you are the donkey of the day. You are the donkey of the day. Yee-haw. And I just want young Jan here to know, like I said before,
Starting point is 01:24:37 you will not be defined by this moment. You are not the worst thing you've ever done in your life. But Jesus Christ, did you have to start that mass shooting? You couldn't say your stomach hurt? Ain't that the basic one? You know, say your stomach hurt. I'm assuming she's African-American. Why are you assuming that?
Starting point is 01:24:55 I was asking. I don't like how you're assuming that. Tell me why you're assuming that, King. Huh? Dominican poppy, tell me why you're assuming that. Because if I had to play a game. I ain't playing this game. See, I would go black. But now I would say this a game. I ain't playing this game. See, I would go black.
Starting point is 01:25:06 But now I would say this, though. I don't know what color she is, honestly. I didn't even look. Don't wink at me, Eddie. Anybody see? Eddie says she's black. I don't care. Eddie says she's black.
Starting point is 01:25:16 But you know when a lot of these festivals and companies do this type of show, there's like a website, and they type in a website, needs security guards, and people just come. There's no reason for an 18 year old anything to be doing security anywhere. 18 years old, especially at Lollapalooza. Was she black or white? I don't know.
Starting point is 01:25:35 I can't. P.O.P. P.O.P. I'm legally blind. I don't see nothing. I don't know what you're talking about. Thank you for that donkey today. Up next we have the R&B group Division straight out of Toronto. I don't know. Yes, they're black, man.
Starting point is 01:25:53 They're signed to Drake's OVO label. We're going to talk to them when we come back. It's The Breakfast Club. Come on. The Breakfast Club. Your mornings will never be the same. Morning, everybody. It's DJ Envy, Angela Yee, Charlamagne Tha Guy.
Starting point is 01:26:09 We are The Breakfast Club. We got a special guest in the building. Some special guests. Yes, man. Yes. Yes. I said guests. Division. What up?
Starting point is 01:26:15 What up? What up? Morning. How you feeling? I got individual names. Good. 1985. 1985 and Daniel, right?
Starting point is 01:26:21 Yes. Daniel. What's going on? What? Well, Division is here. Welcome. This is your first time here. For people that don't know who Division is, break down who you are, where y'all from.
Starting point is 01:26:32 Division is a singer-producer combo. I'm the singer of the group. This is the producer from Toronto. And we are trying to own R&B right now. Y'all signed Drake's OVO Sound, right? Yeah. How's that been? You know, a lot of people say artists shouldn't sign to other artists.
Starting point is 01:26:48 How's that been? Why do you think people say that? I don't know. I'm not an artist. I don't know. People usually say that when they sign to an artist, you'll never get bigger than the artist that you actually signed to. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 01:26:59 Who said that recently? That's not true. Drake ended up signing to Wayne. He got signed to Wayne, right? Yeah. It always pans out. I mean, we're kind of self-contained. So we don't really look outside to anybody
Starting point is 01:27:12 to have to give us the alley-oop or come in and write the song for us or do anything like that. So we really kind of just stay in our space, make what we're going to make, and then kind of go out. We've been lucky to have some dope fans that have kind of really you know help us get to this place and like showed out to all the shows and know the lyrics and the songs and have been supporting the whole thing i mean angela you know
Starting point is 01:27:34 she's she's yeah i've always loved division let me answer this though when you guys when drake debuted you guys on over your radio did you already like, was the deal done? No. Okay, so how did all of that happen? At that point, I was working with him. We were working on Views, I think. And I got a spot to do, like, a DJ segment on OVO Sound Radio. So I was like, I'll
Starting point is 01:27:58 play whatever I want. So I might as well play my own group. Hell yeah. Makes sense. Do y'all feel like he stands next to y'all the way that he should? Because, you know, you look at other artists that have signed, other artists, like you'll see Ross with his guys, or you saw Hov with his guys back then. Even Wayne. Wayne is a great example. Always stood next to Young Money.
Starting point is 01:28:13 Do y'all feel like he stands next to y'all the way he should? I feel like that's up to everybody else to kind of like figure out what they think is what they should. As far as we feel, we are thankful for anything that we get at this point like in the beginning when we signed he not only put us on views which was one of the you know biggest albums at the time obviously and right after that we were on a tour with him we did summer 16. right so that
Starting point is 01:28:38 alone it's like whether you whether whatever however much you stand you post you instagram or you don't, like. He's giving you an opportunity. Yeah. We're thankful for it. We just take anything and turn it into energy. Too Deep is one of my favorite songs to put on like a love making type of playlist. Right.
Starting point is 01:28:56 So can you talk about the meaning behind that? Because you try to say it's not about like not pulling out. No, it is. But it's the double meaning because it plays on, you know, when you're in too deep into, you know, a relationship,
Starting point is 01:29:09 anything, a situation, you don't want to pull back, you know? So it's like, we're here, like, let's live in the moment.
Starting point is 01:29:14 That's so clever. I really just was like, man, they're not pulling out. We're in too deep. But then, yes, it is a double entendre.
Starting point is 01:29:21 It's good for people to know that because then you know that if I get caught, it ain't the first toxic record record y'all made, then. Why is Too Deep Toxic? You don't want to pull out? That's Toxic? What is the definition of Toxic?
Starting point is 01:29:32 Why don't you argue with me about Toxic records this morning, sir? What is the definition of Toxic? Not pulling out is Toxic now? Depends who the person is. Childbirth and beautiful procreation. A random person? A random woman? Did I say random?
Starting point is 01:29:43 Who said that? Oh, okay. You have to have context then. It's a beautiful song. You didn't say that, G. You just said it's a song that I put it on. I love making playlists.
Starting point is 01:29:52 It's a nice song. That's why I said it. You've said it a couple of times. It's very good. I'm married. Do y'all ever listen to your own music when you're with?
Starting point is 01:29:59 For having sex? No. No, never. Never? You don't want to hear Daniel's voice? No, I don't want to. You can't do it.
Starting point is 01:30:04 You can't do it to you can't do that's like looking in the mirror trying to put it on how did y'all hook up with jermaine dupree and whose idea was if i get caught okay shout out to our management team lvrn um they they kind of put together the first session and it was it just ended up being me and jermaine just just there and literally you could fast forward maybe 72 hours and it felt like we were like brother like that was just like it came like a big brother you know jimmy you know absolutely vibe right and if i get caught was already we were already a bunch of records deep into this project that we're doing
Starting point is 01:30:40 and um one day we opened the studio door and he's just humming away as soon as he opened the door he's like i don't mean i don't love you and i was like what is that and so he walked in the studio b cox is already there playing strings and keys and stuff and 85 came up with this idea of like he's like yo the yo, the way we use choir, girl choirs, what if we flip it and make it a bunch of guys singing this and make it like a chant? And I was like, oh, my God. And I sat down and I wrote these verses. Now, the song, I think on first listen, you people hear one thing, maybe even second and third. Maybe even watching the video, too.
Starting point is 01:31:21 Now, the video gives it more context. A little bit more context. But I still feel like some people are still a little bit confused about what I'm actually talking about in the song. Well, explain. Is it safe to say that record is toxic? No, definitely not. Okay, I'd like to hear this one.
Starting point is 01:31:33 There's nothing toxic about that record at all. Everybody, before you explain, continue with the story. How the Jay-Z sample came about and all that. With the Jay-Z sample, we were kind of just talking back and forth. And I was like, like yo what if we use that line from Song Cry and cut it up and I'm like I don't know if we're gonna get that cleared and Jermaine's like yo you do what you got to do I'll make those calls I'm like you sure he's like yeah you leave that to me so I did it still I was kind of thinking I don't know if we're gonna get
Starting point is 01:32:00 this to go and then in the group chat he sent that that same thing that we posted and i was like oh wow that's part of the reason why people think it's toxic too because jay-z said it yeah no you're right oh yeah yeah but you're right this is days for that like yeah this is even more toxic than so this is his fault yeah it's his fault i i just hear more women saying that than anything nah it's honestly's honestly, it's not toxic at all. Explain. Alright, well, hold up, hold that thought. We got more with Division when we come back. Don't move. It's The Breakfast Club. Good morning.
Starting point is 01:32:31 Good morning, everybody. It's DJ Envy Angela Yee, Charlamagne Tha Guy. We are The Breakfast Club. We're still kicking it with R&B group Division out of Toronto. Now, Charlamagne. So why do you say the song isn't toxic? So, people hear the song and they think i'm saying yo i'm cheating on you eat that or hold that the record for one is not talking about a guy
Starting point is 01:32:51 that's cheating at all the whole song is me talking about being in a situation with somebody who starts to feel like maybe their person is cheating on them and i start to address it from the standpoint of somebody that's like noticing that yo everything that used to attract that attracted you to me has now turned into your insecurity yeah you wouldn't want me if other girls didn't want me yeah the whole idea of like yo i was i dressed well when you met me now it's where you getting dressed and where you're going i was charismatic and fun to be around when you went out when you met me now it's like oh you're always in people's fate you always got to talk we always you always got to be entertaining people you always want to be so funny i think it's the part i was them girls i was going to get right i didn't say that
Starting point is 01:33:30 it's not that part it's the it's the it's the hook i mean even whatever so everything's hypothetical what you're saying let me keep going no everything is me addressing like this is why you like this is this all the things that have turned into and i'm sure we can all be in situations that men and women right where it's like everything that you liked about me has now turned into insecurities because you realize other people like them about me. Now the insecurity has turned to the point where it's like you're digging through phones, you're checking laptops, you're doing all these things to try to find something. And then you have to get into the psychology of trying to find something. It's like, are you trying to find something to be upset? Are you trying to find something so you can find a way to leave?
Starting point is 01:34:05 Right? And my whole thing with this is, okay, so if it's to leave, why would you want to leave somebody when even if I was to have done this,
Starting point is 01:34:15 if hypothetically I was to have done this, it wouldn't be because I all of a sudden fell out of love with you. It would be because I was being a selfish idiot and maybe did some stupid,
Starting point is 01:34:24 some stupid things I shouldn't have done, self--indulging caught up in my ego maybe trying to stroke my own ego make myself feel good there's a bunch of reasons that people cheat i don't think i don't think people cheat just because all of a sudden i lot people don't think oh i'm not i guys don't think i'm not in love with you anymore so now i'm gonna go have sex that's not what it is we can have the the whole woman that we want and still be outside doing stupid things. That's what the song is about. Yeah, I agree with you. I think men cheat purely for ego.
Starting point is 01:34:51 Even with everything you're saying, I understand the hypothetical. But when you tell a woman, but the truth is, if I do get caught cheating, that don't mean I don't love you. I wouldn't even bring that hypothetical up. Yeah, because you don't want to have that honest conversation. And that's what triggered everybody online. But I don't want to have that honest conversation. And that's what triggered everybody online. But I don't want to have the conversation because I'm not cheating.
Starting point is 01:35:07 That's fine. But most people don't want to have the conversation because they've been down there. They either have to have a pass with it. Somebody did that to them. Somebody hurt them.
Starting point is 01:35:16 Someone's left some PTSD there. Absolutely. And that's what's caused this stir. It's triggering. Yeah, it's a trigger. Yeah?
Starting point is 01:35:24 Please. I played it one time for my wife just to let her hear it she ain't gonna hear that that's just too triggering yeah yeah what's wrong with you i'm sorry you know they're young i said how they're young you know they ain't going through it but let me ask you guys this yes sir do you guys disagree or agree with that statement that you don't have to fall out of love with somebody? Oh, yeah, that's an old school. By the way, that's a golden oldie. I think that's a classic line.
Starting point is 01:35:52 So then what are we really talking about is toxic or do we just replace toxic with honest? I think it's the other part where you say it's just one little f***. See, I can relate to it. If I get caught cheating, that don't mean I don't love you. We've all said that before. I ain't never told my wife, it was just one little f***. Because no matter if she hit you back,
Starting point is 01:36:08 it was like, well, I gave somebody f*** with one little suck. Yeah. If she didn't even wiki, the exact same situation. Oh, man, shut up.
Starting point is 01:36:15 The exact same, the exact same, the exact same situation. I'm now in a position where it's like, okay, am I going to stay? Am I going to leave?
Starting point is 01:36:23 What am I going to do here? It's the same thing. I think there's been a lot of women that immediately there's the triggering effect of it. And they're like, I can't believe you guys are out here promoting like a cheaters anthem with a whole bunch of guys on the hook. And then there's the other women that are like, you know what? I can see why you would say this because, you know, I've've been in a situation like that before or I've done it myself. You know, there's a lot of women now, not at first. As the days go by, there's a lot of women now kind of coming out and be like, yeah, I've done that.
Starting point is 01:36:56 Of course. A hundred percent. A hundred percent. If we're being honest in 2022, women are cheating just as much if not more than men I don't think they ever stop now how did you come up with this statistic I got this from a sex therapist
Starting point is 01:37:09 you and Nick Cannon he watched it we got these from actual professionals you think women cheat more than men I'm not saying I think this is what I was told from somebody who has studied.
Starting point is 01:37:27 I'm just telling, giving you guys what the information is. Cite these sources, bro. Yeah, I don't know about that. Cite these sources. What song comes after this now? See, okay, so that's a great question. She done ruined all your clothes. She done messed up all your clothes.
Starting point is 01:37:43 This album is a story we started at the ego and then naturally it goes to all the places where that can get you there's reflection
Starting point is 01:37:52 there's accountability there's remorse there's growth there's you know hopefully re-approaching all these things and situations
Starting point is 01:38:00 that you may have failed at in the in the past the next record is a step in that direction. I'm not going to say too much about it. It's definitely super R&B, produced by JD,
Starting point is 01:38:12 produced by B. Cox, produced by 1985. And it's special. The only thing I didn't like about the record was the sample, to be honest with you. I didn't think you needed it. No. I like the hook. I mean, the hook was better.
Starting point is 01:38:28 Oh, you didn't like the JZ sample? You just think it wasn't necessary no oh i i still love that that made me feel extra i'm a hip-hop head though and it's even just to read text between jay jay and jd just for that that that's like alone when we were we're happy did you tell jd to put that text out was that part of the rolloutout? No, J didn't tell him to do it. J didn't tell him to do it. But I'm sure Jermaine did probably ask. Oh, did he ask? Yeah, I'm sure J.D. asked. Jermaine's Jermaine. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:38:49 I'm sure J.D. asked. J.D. just gonna do that. But let's get into the record. Hold on, I do have one more question because I look at the artist Drake and I feel like Drake features and cosigns of artists do more than artists
Starting point is 01:39:01 being actually signed to his label do, if that makes sense. Because Pardee is fantastic. I think a lot of that is- Y'all are dope. You know what I mean? His approach is very respectful of the creative process. And because we are signed,
Starting point is 01:39:14 I think a lot of time he's kind of just like, yo, you do your thing and you call me in when- It's time. Yeah, call me in when it's time. But before that, I don't even want to overstep. You guys do what you're doing and then let me know i honestly think this way was was better because a lot of people who don't know you know you for you not the drake cosign a lot of people didn't know y'all was on the track that's true and loved the music and now when
Starting point is 01:39:37 they hear it's a drake cosign now it's like oh even more i like this group so that's what i think so at what point do y'all do bring him in on the process just want to make sense musically you know i think it's all really just timing with him as you can see he's very smart about his music you know so for us it's like it just has to make sense for both well let's get into this toxic single right now honest honest and come on it's honest but it's still it's true if it triggers people it's toxic a little bit. What? Yeah, yeah, yeah. If something triggers you, that doesn't make it toxic. Yeah, it does. It's toxic to the individual. That is the trigger.
Starting point is 01:40:09 I mean, you've never seen a movie that's just like touched you in some kind of way, and all of a sudden now you're just blaming the movie and saying that this is toxic? No. Well, it's because- You have trauma. It's because of your experience. Unhealed trauma, yeah. Unhealed trauma that you have in process.
Starting point is 01:40:19 That has nothing to do with what was delivered to you. But cheating is a very traumatic thing. But cheating is just real. It is. Well, let's get into the single. Fellas. The record is toxic, though. Fellas.
Starting point is 01:40:27 I don't know how you spin that. Fellas, if you've been in a situation, this is the time where you might want to change the radio station. Might want to turn down a little bit. Or listen to Daniel's explanation of what the song is really supposed to be about. You know what's so funny about Daniel's explanation?
Starting point is 01:40:42 I understand it, but I can hear a woman saying, that's some bulls**t. No, they've been hearing it and they've been receiving it. Shout out to the ladies out there. Let's get into the record. You want to introduce it? Here we go.
Starting point is 01:40:53 This is our new record. This is Division. This is If I Get Caught right here. Breakfast Club. Fellas, it's two minutes and 30 seconds. It's the Breakfast Club. Come on. Listen up.
Starting point is 01:41:03 It's just in. All the gossip. Gossip. The Rumor Report. Listen up. It's just in. All the gossip. Gossip. The Rumor Report. Gossip. Gossip. With Angela. Angela Yee.
Starting point is 01:41:09 It's the Rumor Report. The Breakfast Club. Well, Khalees had time yesterday. She clapped back at a bunch of people in her comment section. I'll tell you some of them. I thought it was pretty funny. Now, Sydney Savage left a comment and says, You happy Beyonce took that sample off, huh?
Starting point is 01:41:26 Bzz, bzz, bzz. Cry baby. The hell is bzz, bzz, bzz? That's the B emoji. Oh. That's the B emoji. Just say B emoji, bro. That's better.
Starting point is 01:41:34 The bzz, bzz, bzz. Well, Khalees replied, Yes, I actually am. LOL. Nobody cried. Well, twerking for Jesus. He put, I would have just been happy to be on the album. Well, Khalees responded, It's twerking for Jesus, he put. I would have just been happy to be on the album.
Starting point is 01:41:45 Well, Khalees responded, twerking for Jesus. And that's why you are who you are and I am who I am. Thank God I am me. Laugh out loud. Well, Kevin Morgan responded. Sample got removed like you wanted so back to barbecue sauce. You go. I didn't understand that.
Starting point is 01:42:03 Back to barbecue sauce. What that means. Sample got removed like you wanted. So back to barbecue sauce. You go. If she just said back to milkshakes or something, that. Back to barbecue sauce. Whatever. It got removed like you wanted. So back to barbecue sauce you go. If she just said back to milkshakes or something that would have made more sense. Why barbecues? I don't know. Well she replied oh absolutely. Laugh out loud. Winning.
Starting point is 01:42:16 And then Oxford Best Doing It said music career dead. Just like your edges. Now that's when you go too far now. Weisse got great edges from what I could see. Then she responded, laugh out loud, my edges? Laugh out loud. I'm like Rapunzel
Starting point is 01:42:31 in this bitch. Are you mad? I didn't notice that now. I zoom in on people with no edges. Men included. You see me right now? I ain't got no haircut. You see me? Do I look like I got edges? Nope. I ain't got no hairline. I see that. I ain't see that on Kalisse. Kalisse definitely got edges. None of those were good, by the way. What would I got edges? Nope. I ain't got no hairline. So I see that. I ain't see that on Khalees. Khalees definitely got edges. None of those were good, by the way. No. I didn't.
Starting point is 01:42:48 What would you have said? Nothing. Be mine and my business. Congratulations to Kenan Thompson. He's going to be honored with a Hollywood Walk of Fame star. My guy. He celebrated his 30th year career with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The event will be live streamed on August 11th
Starting point is 01:43:04 at 1130 a.m. So congratulations to Kenan Thompson. Dropping the clues bombs for the good brother Kenan Thompson, man. He's my guy. He was on the first episode of Hell of a Week, my late night talk show. He was on the first episode of the second season, man. All right. Sleuth to my guy.
Starting point is 01:43:19 Now, Kodak Black and French Montana looks like they're going to be doing an album together, a joint album, which I think is going to be pretty dope. They make good music together. They got a couple. What was it? What was it? Mopstick? No.
Starting point is 01:43:32 Mopstick, yes. Mopstick, and there was another one. What was it? Lockjaw. Lockjaw. Lockjaw. Is it Mopstick? I don't know if it's Mopstick.
Starting point is 01:43:38 I know it's Lockjaw for sure. Well, you know Lockjaw. And Meek Mill, he played three tracks, and one of them sounds pretty dope. It's a sample of Big Puns, and Donnell Jones is so hard. So we look forward to that. Hopefully that will be released. Hopefully I hate you, man. Hopefully that will be released.
Starting point is 01:43:54 Why do you hate me? Because you're laughing like that. And lastly, Aoki Simmons. That's Russell Simmons and Kamara Lee Simmons' daughter. She is in Harvard University, and people have been trolling her because she said she wants to be a model and they don't understand that you can have beauty and brains and she spoke about that i would like to change the idea that you can't be smart and pretty or
Starting point is 01:44:16 you can't be smart and enjoy your looks or enjoy a creative beauty fashion-based career like one that requires plenty of smarts, and two, you can be two kinds of people. First of all, everybody knows this already. Of course you can be smart and beautiful. You know what I'm saying? Of course you can be beautiful and smart. That has been debunked a long time ago.
Starting point is 01:44:39 F these people that be having something to say. Do you understand that these people just be jealous and envious and they just mad that this young girl is in Harvard living her best life? Absolutely. That's all it is. Sometimes you just gotta tell people SMD. Suck my... Sometimes you just gotta let that fly. It's okay. You just gotta be careful because somebody might do it. So you just gotta be careful.
Starting point is 01:44:55 Look at you. That's exactly where your mind will go. Just tell them. I can't wait until somebody tells you to do it and then you do it. That's gonna be... And I hope somebody gets it on video. Okay? Because you always saying that. And that is your rumor report. All right. That is true, though.
Starting point is 01:45:08 You got to stop threatening people with a good time in this era. And today is August 4th. It's Thursday. And today, August 4th, Thursday, I am just saying today, I am no longer playing these games with you anymore. What game? Yesterday, as I was walking into the gas station to get a water, somebody came up to me and was like, hey, are you Envy?
Starting point is 01:45:25 And I said, no. And they said, you look like him. And I said, no, that's not me. They said, I recognize your voice. I said, okay. And she said, yeah, you and Charlamagne are funny. Did Charlamagne really follow, well, play the audio. Did you really go to the bathroom,
Starting point is 01:45:37 measure your hands? And I told her y'all be doing that, to get that guac, that's why y'all just sitting on M. To be honest, you I'll be doing that If you didn't hear those two individuals weren't together they were having discussion of if Charlamagne and I were gay. I ain't hear that. I heard them say that we are not. That's what I heard. I heard Domi say that we be doing that just to get them M's.
