More than forty-three thousand people were booked into ICE detention in June, the highest monthly total since President Trump returned to office. with just 36% of Americans. approving his performance. The economy is doing great. The stock markets higher now than when I came to office and we've taken in hundreds of billions of dollars in tariff money. And more than 35,000 people

were booked into ICE detention in June. The highest monthly total since President Trump returned to office. We're not making this up. We're in enforcement laws they wrote. They appropriate us money to import it.

This is front page, and here are the day's biggest stories. Stay with me. President Trump's approval rating is slipping again. A new economist, UGov poll, finds 36% of Americans approve of the job he's doing. That gives the president a net approval rating of negative 24. Just two points above the lowest rating he's recorded across both of his terms in office. For comparison, that puts Trump below former Joe Biden's lowest approval point, which reached negative 23. The poll surveyed more than 1,600 adults between July 17th and July 20th.

The survey also found more Americans are questioning the president's age. 52% now say Trump is too old to serve as president up 12 points since January. On the issues, 47% say the economy is in poor shape, the highest level recorded in this poll since 2003. With today's economy, just thinking of the cost of living with your mortgage or rent, the health insurance costs. It's really hard to decipher between, you know, the emotional aspect of wanting kids and the financial aspect and the reality of the resources that we have today.

Let's do one-word answers, rapid fire here. How would you describe today's economy? Rough. Volatile. Hostile. Shaky. Declining. Embarrassing.

And on immigration, an issue that's long been one of Trump's political strengths, 54% disapprove of the way he's handling it. Nearly half of those surveyed also say they support abolishing ICE. The poll also found Democrats leading Republicans by five points on a generic congressional ballot, a trend that has shown up. in several other recent national surveys. And the Trump administration's immigration crackdown is continuing to ramp up. New ICE data shows more people were booked into immigration detention in June than any other month since President Trump returned to office. And so far, July is on pace to be

even busier. The number of people being held in detention has climbed to more than 65,000, another new high. The Department of Homeland Security says there are no arrest quotas despite reports that agents have been push to increase enforcement. Borders are Tom Homan says the administration has no plans to slow down. You can talk to men and women at ICE all you want. It comes on to one simple fact. These people fail to comply with law. Even some of the major chiefs in this country who don't necessarily agree with this

administration, says you always comply with law enforcement. But the hateful rhetoric that ICE isn't a real law enforcement agency, I see these signs that resist. Ice are the, you know, let's abolish them. They're fascists. When you keep that hateful retic for a year and a half, there's going to be that percentage or that part, that population, that's going to be emboldened to take action because they're not real law enforcement. They see, I should resist them. The new data also shows a growing number of people being detained that do not have criminal convictions. That comes after two high-profile ice operations this month in Texas and in Maine, where the people shot by agents were not the original targets of those operations.

All they had to do is simply comply with law enforcement. If you don't like what law enforcement did you, then go to the court, sue, call the ACLU, do whatever you want to do. But you should always comply in law enforcement. If they did, they'd be alive today. Now, I'm not going to comment on the investigation itself and wait for it to play out. This is about complying with law enforcement and a lot of negative hateful, and I said this a year ago, if a hateful redact doesn't stop, there will be bloodshed. Supporters say the tougher enforcement is making communities safer. Critics argue it's sweeping up more people with little or no criminal history. The Miami Heat made a very interesting mistake this week. The team's YouTube channel posted a link Tuesday to a scheduled live stream.

The title quote, the Ron James introductory press conference. The date on the link July 27th. The post was quickly deleted. A spokesperson for the heat, told ESPN that the team's social media department was preparing for the possibility of LeBron James signing and mistakenly published the link. LeBron James is an unrestricted free agent for the first time since 2018. According to ESPN, the Cleveland Cavaliers, the Philadelphia 76ers, and the Miami Heat are the top three teams under consideration. The Golden State Warriors are also being mentioned. And there is no deadline for LeBron to make a decision. And at, this point, this is already the longest he's ever been a free agent.

It's the third time I've been a pre-agent, obviously, in 10, when I made a decision to go to Miami, I had my reasons. When I went back to Cleveland and 14, I had my reason. So actually, this would be the fourth. And then when I went to L.A. eight years ago, I had my reason. So, you know, for me now, you know, I have an almost 22-year-old son who is not my former teammate, which is hilarious. NBA commissioner Adam Silver has said the league is holding off on finalizing next season's schedule until LeBron makes his decision. Last season, LeBron averaged 20.9
