Starting point is 00:00:00 Had enough of this country? Ever dreamt about starting your own? I planted the flag. This is mine. I own this. It's surprisingly easy. 55 gallons of water, 500 pounds of concrete. Or maybe not. No country willingly gives up their territory. Oh my God.
Starting point is 00:00:16 What is that? Bullets. Listen to Escape from Zakistan. We need help! That's Escape from Z-A-Q-istan on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. As a kid, I really do remember having these dreams and visions, but you just don't know what is going to come for you. Alicia shares her wisdom on growth, gratitude, and the power of love. I forgive myself. It's okay.
Starting point is 00:00:45 Have grace with yourself. You're trying your best. And you're going to figure out the rhythm of this thing. Alicia Keys, like you've never heard her before. Listen to On Purpose with Jay Shetty on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Hey guys, I'm Kate Max. You might know me from my popular online series, The Running Interview Show, where I run with celebrities, athletes, entrepreneurs, and their stories, their journeys, and the thoughts
Starting point is 00:01:25 that arise once we've hit the pavement together. Listen to Post Run High on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or? Breakfast Club, bitches. I'm glad they put y'all together. Y'all are like a mega force. Y'all just took over every... Wake your punk ass up. This is Chris Brown. I've officially joined the Breakfast Club. Say something, mother... I'm with it.
Starting point is 00:01:53 The world's most dangerous morning show. Breakfast Club, bitches. Good morning, DJ Envy. Charlamagne Tha Guy. Peace to the planet. Guess what day it is. Guess what day it is. Hump Day. That's right. It's Wednesday, Hump Day. It definitely is. Middle of the work week.
Starting point is 00:02:36 What does that even mean anymore? Nothing. Nothing at all, right? Nothing, nothing, nothing. I used to get excited about it. I'm just happy. Every day gets me excited now. Me too.
Starting point is 00:02:44 You know what I mean? Just when you wake up and you're breathing and you know what I'm saying? All your limbs is working and you're healthy and your family good. It's just like every day feels like Wednesday, Friday, whatever day you was loving during the week. Yeah, I got
Starting point is 00:02:57 back on the bike yesterday. I started, I've been riding last week. I think I rode three times. I got on a bike yesterday. I rode. I'm going to ride today. I rode a Mirage today. Just getting my cardio right. Trying to get summertime fine? You know it. Don't whisper it.
Starting point is 00:03:13 Don't whisper it. Say it with your chest. You know it. Okay? If you're trying to get summertime fine, if you stay ready, you ain't got to get ready. You right. Okay?
Starting point is 00:03:20 But that pandemic got me lazy. I ain't going to lie. I didn't want to do as much as I should have, but I'm back on it what about you Yee what you up to yesterday I was like you know it was a beautiful day probably one of the first nice days we've had
Starting point is 00:03:34 so far of the season so after I finished working I was like you know what let me go outside and go for a walk and I ended up walking all over my neighborhood by the way we're broadcasting from New York City. That's our headquarters. I know our people in Miami are like, what the hell is she talking about?
Starting point is 00:03:49 Atlanta, too. Atlanta's like, it's been nice here for a while. But yeah, in New York City. What? Walking around our neighborhood. No, nice weather. Nice weather. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:03:56 Yeah, it's been the first. Well, I've been all over the place, too, so it's the first nice weather since I've been home and I've experienced. There you go. So if it was like 70 degrees here, that's, you know. All right. All right. Well, let's get the've experienced. There you go. So if it was like 70 degrees here, that's, you know. All right. All right. Well, let's get the show cracking.
Starting point is 00:04:08 Well, listen, we, I don't know, I don't know, Sarah Jake Roberts, we had Sarah, because Sarah Jake Roberts put out a book yesterday called Woman Evolve.
Starting point is 00:04:15 Correct. Sarah Jake Roberts, the daughter of Bishop T.D. Jakes, amazing pastor herself, amazing motivational speaker. I don't know, any of our producers keeps telling me
Starting point is 00:04:24 the audio was messed up. I told y'all that two days ago, three days ago. It didn't sound bad to me. No, it did. What happened was when we did the interview. Sounded like regular Zoom audio to me. When we do these Zoom interviews sometimes, so what she did was she framed a perfect picture. So her frame and everything was good, but the laptop was too far
Starting point is 00:04:40 from where she was. So you necessarily couldn't hear her clearly as some of these other interviews. I've heard much worse. I've heard much worse. I've heard much worse. That is a fact. I just think that, you know, it's not like Zoom quality
Starting point is 00:04:52 is the greatest quality, period, anyway. No, but this is a lot worse. I don't believe that. We sat here and talked to Lil Baby for 30 minutes and acted like we knew what the hell he was talking about the whole time. And not once did I hear you say anything about the audio. We didn't play the interview.
Starting point is 00:05:05 We played clips of it. Yeah, because we couldn't play the full interview because the audio was trash. Yeah, but you ain't tell them in the moment is what I'm saying. I don't think Sarah Jakes was that bad at all. We tried to fix Little Babies. Eddie, come here, Eddie, real quick.
Starting point is 00:05:15 Tell us what the problem is. During that whole interview, I was texting y'all like, yo, we got to fix the audio. If not, we're not going to be able to do it. Because I teased Sarah Jake yesterday and people got super excited. So what's wrong with it exactly? Her audio is messed up.
Starting point is 00:05:26 Now your audio is messed up now. See, now your audio is messed up. See, it's this whole goddamn room. What did you say, Eddie, now? Her audio is very low. It's very low. She was far away from her laptop. Yeah, so very airy, very low.
Starting point is 00:05:37 It's hard to hear what she's saying. So I don't know what we're going to do. You may or may not hear Sarah J. Grobbets on the breakfast class. Which is horrible because I love Sarah J. Grobbets on The Breakfast Club this morning. Which is horrible because I love Sarah J. Grobbets, by the way. We might have to need a little more time to get the audio right, so it might not happen to the 9 o'clock. We'll figure it out.
Starting point is 00:05:54 Alright, well, let's get the show cracking. Front page news, what are we talking about? Well, let's talk about those two New York doormen. They closed the doors while an Asian woman was being attacked, and now they have been fired. All right. We'll get to that next.
Starting point is 00:06:06 It's the Breakfast Club. Good morning. Morning, everybody. It's DJ Envy, Angela Yee, Charlamagne Tha Guy. We are the Breakfast Club. Let's get in some front page news. Where are we starting, Yee? Well, Joe Biden had said originally that every adult in the country would be eligible to be vaccinated by May 1st. He has moved that deadline up and now says every adult in the country will be eligible
Starting point is 00:06:30 to be vaccinated by April 19th. Here's Joe Biden. On March the 11th, I announced that I was opening up all vaccination sites to all adults by May 1st. I'm announcing today that we're moving that date up from May 1st to April 19th nationwide. That means by no later than April 19th in every part of this country, every adult over the age of 18, 18 or older, will be eligible to be vaccinated. Why'd they push up the album release date?
Starting point is 00:07:02 I guess it was, the plan is going pretty smoothly so far. I wonder why they pushed it up though. Did they get more vaccine in? Yeah, they have more vaccinations available for people. And by the way, that's just being eligible. That doesn't mean you'll have gotten it done
Starting point is 00:07:20 by then. I know some people are still having issues signing up and being able to actually get a date to come and get their vaccine. Yeah, they just sent me an email for my vaccine. I signed up like six months ago and they just sent the email
Starting point is 00:07:32 that said I can get my vaccine. The state did today. But you already got it. Right, but I signed up for it. Remember, I got mine on so waiting by the pharmacy and seeing, you know, whatever dose I can get.
Starting point is 00:07:40 But they just finally sent the email to get the quote unquote, you know, the emailed one. You got you. All right, now the two New York doormen who closed the doors to the building's lobby while a woman, a 65 year old Asian woman was being punched and kicked
Starting point is 00:07:53 outside, those men have been fired. I can see why. Why? Because they're security guards but they didn't do anything when they saw a 66 year old woman being assaulted. Even if they didn't stop the guy, they didn't even go help the woman when she was laid out on the ground. So why would
Starting point is 00:08:10 I expect them to do anything for me in this store? People's character are their character. Right. But, you know, yes, you could say that they're cowardly. Yes, you can call them a sucker. Yes, you can say that's morally wrong, but their job was to secure that building and inside that building. That lady was right in front of the building. But their job was to secure that building and inside that building.
Starting point is 00:08:26 That lady was right in front of the building. But that's not what their job is to do. Now, morally wrong. Cowardly, yes. But if my job is to secure the building and make sure nobody comes in this building that's not supposed to be in the building, that's not their job. Let me ask you a question. Why would I expect you to secure this building if you didn't do nothing in that moment? You didn't even go outside to help the woman up. You actually closed the door on her.
Starting point is 00:08:45 Now, they said that they waited until the attacker left because they didn't know if the attacker had a gun and went outside and flagged down a police station. We saw the video. The guy walked off. I'm telling you what the doorman's union said. They said when the guy finally walked off, they went outside. But they secured that building.
Starting point is 00:08:59 They have a lawsuit because their job is to secure the building. Now, morally wrong. Well, if you had a dog. If you had a dog. Can I just say one thing? I was going to just say, one thing though is that there are emergency and safety protocols that they did not follow.
Starting point is 00:09:14 That's really why they got fired. What's the emergency and safety protocol? I guess if something like that happens where somebody's being attacked in front of the building, probably not close the doors on them. I would think. Maybe call 911. That's my point.
Starting point is 00:09:27 You know, that's probably part of it. Like if you got Chuck Norris, right? Chuck Norris guards the house, right? But he's supposed to protect your kids. If something's happening to your kids in the yard, Chuck Norris says, I'm not going out in the yard. Chuck Norris the dog.
Starting point is 00:09:39 He refused to go out in the yard for whatever reason. He stays in the house. You keeping Chuck Norris? Well, Chuck Norris can't leave the yard anyway because he's got an electric fence. No, I said the yard. He's in the house, but the kids are in the yard for whatever reason. He stays in the house. You keeping Chuck Norris? Well, Chuck Norris can't leave the yard anyway because he's got an electric fence. No, I said the yard. He's in the house, but the kids are in the yard. He stays on the porch like you did when your friend
Starting point is 00:09:51 was fighting. Nope. But the difference is Chuck Norris is there to protect the family. That's your family. Your kids are in the yard. For instance, if Chuck Norris is outside and something happens outside to somebody that Chuck Norris doesn't know, Chuck Norris is not going to attack. He's not going to fight for somebody he does not know or protect his house or his family.
Starting point is 00:10:08 If you're outside and you and Dramos are fighting and you beat up Dramos, Chuck Norris is not going to protect Dramos. He don't know Dramos. Oh, well, I was talking about your kids, though. This happened right in front of the building, though. I would think you wouldn't want things like that happening in front of the building. It's morally wrong. It's cowardly.
Starting point is 00:10:24 Yes, absolutely. But if your job that happening in front of the building. It's morally wrong. It's cowardly. Yes, absolutely. But if your job is to fire them for that, I don't know if that's right. I don't know if that's right. Because if you react like that in that situation, that's how you would react to any situation. This is a 66-year-old woman. I don't feel secure. Exactly. This is a 66-year-old woman.
Starting point is 00:10:39 If your moral instinct isn't to intervene, how do I expect you to protect this damn store if something happens and hit? Your job is security, not just a receptionist. We're security. Let's just be honest. A security is nothing but a person that calls the police when something really happens. What if somebody's smoking crack in front of the door, though? You're supposed to stop that person.
Starting point is 00:10:58 No, I'm not stopping you from smoking crack. No, no, my daughter goes to NYU. There's somebody that smokes crack and that's outside the door. They can't ask him to leave because that's public property. They can't tell him to leave. Only the police can tell him to leave. We had this car going in a nice destination. You just swerved us off the road for no damn reason.
Starting point is 00:11:18 Listen to my point. If I'm paying good money to live in this building and I have to fight through a crackhead doing crack in front of my door and I have a doorman, I'd have a problem with that. Oh, true. But that's not the doorman's job. The doorman is to open the door. Security is to make sure nothing happens inside the building. I'm just not randomly stopping you from smoking crack. If you want to smoke crack, smoke all the crack you want. Okay? I'm not stopping that.
Starting point is 00:11:37 66-year-old woman on the ground, like, come on, bro. A lot of times I see security standing outside the building, too. Like, they stand in front of the building I would think that counts as part of the building You didn't even fake help her when she was on the ground You couldn't even just walk out there and be like Yo, you couldn't even yell at yo
Starting point is 00:11:52 You couldn't open the door and be like yo Chill, chill You're absolutely positively right You're right, morally that was wrong But, hey, get it off your chest 800-585-1051. If you need to vent, call us up right now. 800-585-1051.
Starting point is 00:12:09 It's The Breakfast Club. Good morning. The Breakfast Club. Is your country falling apart? Feeling tired, depressed, a little bit revolutionary? Consider this. Start your own country. I planted the flag.
Starting point is 00:12:24 I just kind of looked out of like, this is mine. I own this. It's surprisingly easy. There's 55 gallons of water for 500 pounds of concrete. Everybody's doing it. I am King Ernest Emmanuel. I am the Queen of Ladonia. I'm Jackson the First, King of Kaperburg. I am the Supreme Leader of the Grand Republic of Mentonia.
Starting point is 00:12:40 Be part of a great colonial tradition. Why can't I create my own country? My forefathers did that themselves. What could go wrong? Be part of a great colonial tradition. What could go wrong? I was making a rocket with a black powder, you know, with explosive warhead. Oh my God. What is that? Bullets. Bullets.
Starting point is 00:12:58 We need help! We need help! We still have the off-road portion to go. Listen to Escape from Zakistan. And we're losing daylight fast. That's Escape from Z-A-Q-istan on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. As a kid, I really do remember having these dreams and visions, but you just don't know what is going to come for you. Alicia Keys opens up about conquering doubt, learning to trust herself and leaning into her dreams. I think a lot of times we are built to doubt the possibilities for ourselves.
Starting point is 00:13:37 For self-preservation and protection, it was literally that step by step. And so I discovered that that is how we get where we're going. This increment of small, determined moments. Alicia shares her wisdom on growth, gratitude, and the power of love. I forgive myself. It's okay. Like grace. Have grace with yourself.
Starting point is 00:14:00 You're trying your best. You might know me from my popular online series, The Running Interview Show,
Starting point is 00:14:21 where I run with celebrities, athletes, entrepreneurs, and more. After those runs, the conversations keep going. That's what my podcast, Post Run High, is all about. It's a chance to sit down with my guests and dive even deeper into their stories, their journeys, and the thoughts that arise once we've hit the pavement together. You know that rush of endorphins you feel after a great workout? Well, that's when the real magic happens. So if you love hearing real, inspiring stories from the people you know, follow, and admire, join me every week for Post Run High. It's where we take the conversation beyond the run and get into the heart of it all. It's lighthearted, pretty crazy, and very fun. Listen to Post Run High on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
Starting point is 00:15:16 Wake up, wake up. Wake your ass up. This is your time to get it off your chest. Say it, say it, say it. Whether you're mad or blessed, we want to hear from you on The Breakfast Club. Hello, who's this? Morgan from Ohio. Hey, good morning. Get it off your chest.
Starting point is 00:15:32 I just want to get it off my chest. I'm thinking about quitting my job today. Reason being, I've been dealing with the sexual harassment issue. I work with all my guys. Literally all my guys. I just not told my supervisor
Starting point is 00:15:48 about it. He told me if it gets worse, let him know. I told him I can't work with the guy no more. I just can't. He said, okay, I got you. If it gets worse, let me know. I come into work today and I'm still working with the guy.
Starting point is 00:16:04 Why? What was the point? I mean, I was waiting months to tell him. You know, I have really bad social media, so I don't like to draw too much attention to myself. I don't work with him all the time. I'm like, okay, I'm going to work with him this week, so it's okay. It's fine. But people are going on vacation, so I have to work with him more often now.
Starting point is 00:16:24 And I'm like, I just can't keep touching, feeling on me. What? That's ridiculous. Is there a supervisor above your boss that you can talk to? No. And like I said before, it's all guys. So I feel like it's me against them. They've all been working with each other for 20 plus years.
Starting point is 00:16:43 I've only been there for around 10 years. Do you have anything in writing, like an email that you sent to your boss to talk about it? No, we had a brief meeting yesterday. He's like, okay, whatever. You should follow up with an email
Starting point is 00:16:59 because you need to get something like this in writing. Right, okay. I guess I just want to quit now because I feel like nothing... I understand and you should send an email saying all of that. You should say how disrespected you feel that you came and discussed an issue
Starting point is 00:17:15 in the office place that was not your fault and that person then went on to work with you even though you stated that you could not work with this person. You should write all of that in the email. Right. Okay. Yeah, don't just. Huh?
Starting point is 00:17:30 Charlotte, listening to the last episode of You're a Brilliant Idiot, you were talking about a guy named Josh who does like edibles and stuff. Yes. Does he deliver anything? Josh, I don't know where Josh lives at. I have panic attacks, 25. I have panic attacks,, I have panic attacks anxiety 25 days
Starting point is 00:17:47 so it's like nothing works for me. You know what? I'm going to ask Josh, I'm going to get your information. I'm going to ask
Starting point is 00:17:53 Josh if he delivers. Hold on. Hold on one second. Yeah, get her info. Get it off your chest. Keep to my man Josh Astoria.
Starting point is 00:17:59 800-585-1051 if you need to vent. Hit us up now. It's The Breakfast Club. Good morning. The Breakfast Club. Good morning. The Breakfast Club. This is your time to get it off your chest, whether you're mad or blessed. You better have the same energy.
Starting point is 00:18:14 We want to hear from you on The Breakfast Club. Hello, who's this? This is Gloria. Hey, Gloria. Good morning. Get it off your chest. I just wanted to comment on a topic you guys were talking about with the security guard. I'm a security guard, and DJ Envy is 100% right.
Starting point is 00:18:29 If we leave our post and go help that elderly lady and she gets hurt, we're responsible, and the building will not back you. So Envy is 100% right. Morally is wrong, but they're not obligated to help. It's interesting because they said they fired them, though, because they didn't follow protocol. Right, so they absolutely have a lawsuit because we are trained. If something's going on,
Starting point is 00:18:52 you do not have to physically get involved. You call the cops. So, Envy is right. I think they were fired, honestly, because of the press and all the bad press that they were getting. They have a lawsuit. They will win that lawsuit. But if they secured that building, no disrespect to anybody out there.
Starting point is 00:19:07 They're outside fighting, you know what I mean? It's one of those things they're protecting the building. Like I said, morally wrong. Cowardly, yes. If something would have happened in the building
Starting point is 00:19:14 while they're outside, still, they would have been responsible. Can I ask you a question, Queen? Would you feel secure with those guys ever again? Like, if you were in... Well, being as though I have my oral license and I was
Starting point is 00:19:26 trained, I get why they did what they did. But would you feel secure though with them in there? Absolutely. Because they went back into the building to secure what
Starting point is 00:19:35 they were on duty to do. Oh, y'all are crazy. Like I said, I get what you're saying from a business perspective, but no way, Jose.
Starting point is 00:19:43 Let me ask you a question. Did they change the rules? Because I noticed in certain stores before, if somebody was stealing, security would stop them. Now I'm seeing people walk out in security watching them steal it. You will get sued. If you put your hands on a person, you will get sued. So what's the point of having security? I'm telling you.
Starting point is 00:20:02 So everybody could just steal. You shouldn't have a job. You are the eyes. You are the eyes of the building. To do what? To call the cops when you see something going on. Man. See something, say something.
Starting point is 00:20:12 That's it. The woman's already, the woman will be dead by then. It's the truth. The store will be, the store will be, all the goods will be stolen out the store. Fact. Y'all don't serve a purpose. Fire all security guards if they ain't ready to bust something. They got to call 911.
Starting point is 00:20:24 That's their job. They got to call 911. That's their job. They got to call 911 and make a report. I'm going to be honest with you. They should fire all of y'all. Because guess what? If I work the cash register, I can call 911. I'm being honest. Like, what's the point of having y'all?
Starting point is 00:20:35 Yeah, but your job is cashing the security. You're guarding the money at the cash register and handling the customers. Security's watching. Supposed to be watching what's going on. I'm telling you, when I see them girls stealing from Gucci, the security just looked at them and I said, you can just steal? He was like, we can't do nothing about it. I said, what? Exactly. You can't touch them. Alright. Thank you,
Starting point is 00:20:52 mama. Be safe out there. I need a second opinion. Alright. Right. Not a bad job. I need a second opinion. Hello, who's this? Oh, my... I thought about saying, Sean Stone, you is a hoe. Who is this? That gotta be Trav
Starting point is 00:21:08 Yes, this is Trav, yo Oh my God, Trav What's wrong with your phone, Trav? Trav, y'all beef starting to be like cold french fries now Y'all keep trying to reheat it It ain't the same No, I ain't trying to be kind of the man I just don't like the fact that
Starting point is 00:21:20 This man is f***ing eating off this other man I'm tired of you de-eating shaming, okay? You supposed to be the person that this man is eating up this other man. I'm tired of you de-eating shaming, okay? You're supposed to be the person that should be all for de-eating shaming. I mean, for de-eating. Sean, I'm not talking to you, Char. Why? What did I do? You're supposed to be the plug pastor, Char.
Starting point is 00:21:42 This is going on three months. Years. You're acting like I didn't pass the plug, though. Once I pass the plug, I can't do anything to the person. What color was his butt plug? If the person didn't respond, Trav, what am I supposed to do? Y'all passing plugs around?
Starting point is 00:21:59 No. See, no, no, no. I need you to send it to the main artist. Now you are not... This is too much inside talk. ...working for you. No, it ain't inside talk, Yee. I wrote this amazing hit song
Starting point is 00:22:15 that can go that... Even Char said it can go to pretty much any... Not any female. It has to go to a certain type of female that can actually, like, deliver it. But it's a hit. Char knows it's a hit. It's a good record. I'm not gonna lie. It has to go to a certain type of female that can actually deliver it. But it's a hit. It's a good record. I'm not going to lie.
Starting point is 00:22:28 It is a hit. It is a hit record, man. You know what? I'm about to send it to somebody. I'm about to send it to the same person again and say, yo, did you ever check this out? And then look, I know you know the artist, Char, and I know you know that this can be beneficial for both of us.
Starting point is 00:22:43 Oh, I don't want nothing from you. I'm going to let this can be beneficial for both of us. Oh, suck a second now. I don't want nothing from you. I'm going to let y'all get kinky off here. Hold on. This got weird. I know, right? Get it off your chest. 800-585-1051. If you need to vent, you can hit us up. Now, we got rumors on the way. Man, Kanye West, more money. He reportedly sold a documentary.
Starting point is 00:23:01 We'll tell you how much Netflix allegedly paid for it. Alright, we'll get into that next. It's The Breakfast Club. Good morning. The Breakfast Club. Is your country falling apart? Feeling tired, depressed, a little bit revolutionary? Consider this.
Starting point is 00:23:16 Start your own country. I planted the flag. I just kind of looked out of like, this is mine. I own this. It's surprisingly easy. There's 55 gallons of water, 500 pounds of concrete. Everybody's doing it. I am King Ernest Emmanuel. I am the Queen of Ladonia. I'm Jackson I, King of Capraburg. I am the Supreme Leader of the Grand Republic of Mentonia. Be part of a great colonial tradition. Why can't I trade my own country? My forefathers
Starting point is 00:23:40 did that themselves. What could go wrong? No country willingly gives up their territory. I was making a rocket with a black powder, you know, with explosive warhead. Starting point is 00:24:33 For self-preservation and protection, it was literally that step by step. And so I discovered that that is how we get where we're going. This increment of small, determined moments. Alicia shares her wisdom on growth, gratitude, and the power of love. I forgive myself. It's okay. Like grace. Have grace with yourself.

Starting point is 00:26:06 Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Morning, everybody. It's DJ Envy, Angela Yee, Charlamagne Tha Guy. We are The Breakfast Club. Let's get to the rumors. Let's talk Wildin' Out. It's time. She's spilling the tea.
Starting point is 00:26:22 This is The Rumor Report with Angela Yee on The Breakfast Club. Well, last night, new seasons, new episodes of Wildin' Out are back. And you could have watched it on VH1 last night, but you can also watch it on FUBU TV and Philo. Just a FYI for everybody that's huge fans of Wildin' Out. And here is a clip of, this sounded really personal, Nick Cannon versus Trinidad James. Trinidad James, the only rapper to win a Grammy for best hair braider. Nick Cannon has no Grammys. And Trinidad James has no more money.
Starting point is 00:27:03 Damn, man, even if that's not true. That's funny. People believe it because Trinidad hasn't had a record since All Gold Everything. But it's good to see Wild N' Out back, though. It's pretty hard to imagine TV without Wild N' Out. Some shows you just expect to see on TV, even if you don't watch them. Like Wild N' Out, Ridiculousness. So salute my guy, Nick Cannon.
Starting point is 00:27:21 And Nick Cannon, by the way, can sing. I saw this a couple of days ago and I was like wait a minute slow down this is Nick Cannon singing and he actually was performing with Kiera Sheard and it was Fred Hammond's No Weapon listen shall prosper in one word God will do what he said he will do Well, a pun first. Listen, I must say, Nick Cannon absolutely sings better than he raps.
Starting point is 00:28:01 Okay? My gosh. He does. He sings better than he raps. And it's also very hard to critique a gospel song okay that's cheating you start singing a gospel song you know no weapon for him to give you a shot of prosper who's gonna say that's whack it wasn't bad it wasn't bad at all he actually sounded decent sounded good i don't know maybe good he said he's good he sounded listen god
Starting point is 00:28:21 knows his heart he sounded sounded decent, though. I thought so. All right, another godly person, Kanye West, just recently sold a documentary to Netflix for $30 million, or maybe more, according to Billboard reports. It's a multi-part project, which will feature never-before-seen footage of Kanye and material 21 years in the making. Look at God.
Starting point is 00:28:44 That's dope. Yeah. There's no title for the project yet. But they said it will debut on Netflix later this year. Look at God. All right. Now here's. This is a little weird to me.
Starting point is 00:28:55 But the rumor is that Lamar Odom has joined Love and Hip Hop with Carly Redd. Why is that weird? And that's because. And that's because there was some footage where you can see he's standing next to Carly Redd. It looks like they're at an event and so in the clips you can see it looks like they're
Starting point is 00:29:14 there together. It was Yandy's birthday party. Yandy, yeah. Yandy MNDC was there. Yandy was getting that car. What did she get? A Rolls Royce as a gift? Yeah, she got a Rolls Royce convertible. What about that sounds weird to you, though? Lamar Odom on Love & Hip Hop sounds about right to me.
Starting point is 00:29:31 Okay. I don't know. It's just weird to me. Lamar Odom. And then he just looked like in the clip. He was on the car. I mean, I know he was married to Khloe, but still the same thing.
Starting point is 00:29:40 He's done reality TV before. Weird is watching that show and not know who some of those people are that they just make up. That's the weird part. At least I know Lamar Odom. I don't see the problem with Lamar Odom. He's been reality TV before. Weird is watching that show and not know who some of those people are that they just make up. That's the weird part. At least I know Lamar Odom. I don't see the problem with Lamar Odom. He's been on reality.
Starting point is 00:29:49 He had his own reality show. Remember Lamar and Chloe when they was dancing? Looking like two powerful boys? Did you know he was dating Carly Redd? I don't follow Lamar's love life. Well, it felt like you just knew a lot just now, Amy. No, I just said I've seen the pictures online. That's why I said it.
Starting point is 00:30:04 But I said there's a lot of people on Love & Hip Hop. I have no idea who they are. They say they're recording artists. They're making records. And didn't Lamar do a reality show with his girlfriend? What was the young lady's name? Sabrina Parr. They did Behind Every Man.
Starting point is 00:30:19 Didn't he do Dancing with the Stars, too? Am I tripping? Am I making this up? I don't think Lamar did Dancing with the Stars. I don't knowpping? Am I making this up? Okay, well, maybe it's not weird. Oh, I don't know. I'm used to seeing Lamar with him on reality TV. Wait, did he do Dancing with the Stars? I don't remember. I know he did Lamar.
Starting point is 00:30:32 I know he definitely did Lamar and Chloe. He did Lamar and Sabrina. I don't see the problem with him doing reality TV. Me neither. I didn't say it was a problem. I just said it felt weird. I don't think it's weird at all. I don't expect to see him on there.
Starting point is 00:30:46 I think it's pretty on brand. All right. Now, Tom Brady is launching. He did? Yeah. He must have got kicked off early. That might be true. 2019.
Starting point is 00:30:55 Yeah. How many episodes? He must have got kicked off early. I don't know. I just Googled. His lowest score was an 11 for the Fox job. Yeah, he was eliminated during week three of the competition. Whatever that means.
Starting point is 00:31:04 It was pretty early. First week nobody gets eliminated. Tom Brady has launched his own NFT company and it's called Autograph. They said it will bring together some of the biggest names in sports, entertainment, fashion, and pop culture to work with creators to develop unique
Starting point is 00:31:19 digital collectibles. And so they will also produce NFTs featuring Tom Brady. Get in on this money. digital collectibles and so they will also produce nfts featuring tom brady getting on this money all right and that is your rumor report all right thank you miss you see gyro selling another nft dropping a clue yeah that's a picture of the sandwich from the fire festival a picture of that the sandwich and food from the fire fest yeah i wasn't even you know even though jim jones came up here and put us on the NFTs, I didn't trust it until I found out what Ja Rule thinks. You know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:31:47 Shut up, man. And Ja Rule got his own NFT company. Ja doing his thing. Ja's the man, bro. Shout out to Ja. All right. Sorry, 50. Front page news.
Starting point is 00:31:55 What are we talking about? Let's talk about the Derek Chauvin trial. You know, as it progresses, we are letting you know everything that's happening. So we'll give you a recap of what happened yesterday. All right. We'll get into that next. It's the Breakfast Club. Good morning.
Starting point is 00:32:07 The Breakfast Club. Your mornings will never be the same. Angela here. And the General Insurance has been helping people save money for nearly 60 years. They offer the quality coverage you deserve at prices you can afford. Make the right call and go with the General. Call 800-GENERAL or visit thegeneral.com. Some restrictions apply
Starting point is 00:32:25 yeah i don't know if you're getting sarah jake roberts on this morning guys we we interviewed her uh yesterday was it yesterday two days ago maybe maybe the day before yesterday but um the audio seems to be not airable no no no and we prayed on it shut up i still think it's your air at seven but i don't you know let's get some front page dudes where we starting you well let's do a recap of what's happening in the derrick chauvin trial the murder trial and who took the stand yesterday sergeant jody steiger a former marine and a 28 year veteran of the lapd was called as the prosecution's first expert witness and he talks about reviewing all of the videos that
Starting point is 00:33:07 showed that fatal encounter with George Floyd and also some footage from police body cameras, surveillance cameras videos taken by bystanders and here's what he had to say about the actions taken by Derek Chauvin and other officers involved in the arrest
Starting point is 00:33:22 no audio? No audio, yeah. We have Lieutenant Mercer and Morris Hall. Oh, okay. That's well oiled machine of pay. Is it? I feel like the tin man. That's my... That's my fault. Okay.
Starting point is 00:33:40 Alright, well then let's talk about Morris Hall. And actually, this is interesting maurice hall was in the car with george floyd when police first confronted them last may he was in court via zoom and that's because he wants to talk about his intention to plead the fifth if he is called here's what he said the whole point here is to prevent mr hall from incriminating himself and him even answering that question that he was in the car puts him in very close proximity with Mr. Floyd. And very close in time before he's alleged to have ingested drugs.
Starting point is 00:34:10 And again, it exposes him on that third degree murder charge. So he has to plead the fifth because he doesn't want to end up getting charged with something. What murder charge? From his testimony. What murder charge? Yeah, why would he get a murder charge? Maybe drugs. Listen.
Starting point is 00:34:25 What you mean drugs? George Floyd didn't die because of no damn drugs. George Floyd died because Derek Chauvin killed him. That's the case they're trying to make, though. So maybe him talking about that would implicate him. Hey, if them other cops that was with Derek Chauvin not getting a murder charge, then how the hell is the passenger with George Floyd getting a murder charge? No way in hell they would charge that young man.
Starting point is 00:34:39 No way. No way in hell they would charge him. Well, you know what? He's the white man we're talking about. You're right. Let's not get ahead of ourselves.'re right you're right well his attorney feels like and what they are saying is that the murder statute allows for prosecution of someone who provided drugs leading to an overdose and because the defense is trying to say that then there could
Starting point is 00:34:59 be potential wrong yeah it is crazy it's crazy that he is shot of him so he won't testify yes he's worried about that but the cops that were with derrick chauvin why they not accomplices they should be because they sat there and they watched derrick chauvin kill this man they didn't stop they didn't intervene you know i mean they actually aided and abetted in a lot of ways but they're not afraid of being charged with nothing but this brother who was with george floyd is afraid of being charged that is crazy yeah that's crazy. How backwards is that, right? And I just want to say a rest in peace to Midwin Charles. She was a CNN and MSNBC legal analyst at only 47 years old.
Starting point is 00:35:33 She has passed, her family announced, and they said no cause of death has been disclosed at this time. But a rest in peace, I knew Midwin also. So, amazing woman. I'm not sure exactly what happened but i saw this was in the news and a lot of people made statements to support the family but the family says they do thank you in advance for your love and prayers please allow the family time to grieve so we want to also add our condolences absolutely rest in peace to me when y'all i didn't know her personally
Starting point is 00:36:00 but i mean i used to see her on msnbc a lot she would be on am joy a lot you know and i'm just like 47 years old I need to know what the cause of death was because in your mind you're like how does this a vibrant healthy individual just all of a sudden up and pass and then I went to her Instagram and last time she posted was March 19th and she was like not feeling
Starting point is 00:36:17 well today you know so she postponed something and then that was literally her last post that's crazy it's like what the hell happened hey rest in peace alright postpone something. And then that was literally her last post. That's crazy. It's like, what the hell happened? Hey, rest in peace. All right. Yes, rest in peace.
Starting point is 00:36:33 And California is planning to lift most COVID restrictions by June 15th, but they are going to keep that mask mandate. They said we do need to remain vigilant and continue the practices that got us here, wearing masks and getting vaccinated. But the light at the end of the tunnel has never been brighter, so they plan to reopen their economy by June 15th, provided that the COVID vaccine and hospitalization cases remain stable. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:36:54 I mean, listen, that's still how far is that from now? What is it? Right around the cone. Like two months. Yeah, still a couple months. Mm-hmm. Alright, well, that is your front page news. All right, thank you, Miss Yee. Now, we were supposed to be playing Sarah J. Roberts here this morning,
Starting point is 00:37:10 but that's not happening because the audible is not arable for whatever reason. Is it going up online, Nick? Yeah, it will go up online. Okay. It's going up online. You can read the lips and it's not easy. I'm upset about this. They could put some captions under it.
Starting point is 00:37:24 Right. I really like Sarah J. Grobs. She has a new book out too called Woman Evolve. So y'all go pick that up. We have to figure out when we can have her on again. Okay. All right. Well, let's open up the phone lines.
Starting point is 00:37:35 We had a conversation earlier. They're on Front Page News. Now, you reported about, you want to report the story again about the woman that was beat up and security guards just watched? Yes, this was in New York City. The two security guards inside of the building, a 66-year-old Asian woman was attacked. And they didn't do anything. And they've gotten fired. All right.
Starting point is 00:37:58 So we're asking 800-585-1051. Should they have been fired? Now, I agree. Morally, it is wrong. They are cowardly. You can call them a whole bunch of names, but they were doing their job. Their job is to secure that building, and they secured the building. Now, what they did outside of that, yes, it was cowardly.
Starting point is 00:38:17 It was suckerish. It was morally wrong, but they secured the building. And we actually had— The building wasn't in danger, though. They closed the doors. That's how it got more secure, once they closed the door on we actually had The building wasn't in danger though. They closed the doors. That's how it got more secure once they closed the door on the woman laying on the ground.
Starting point is 00:38:30 The building wasn't in danger. Right, but it wasn't in danger so they secured the building. I'm not saying what they did was right but I don't think they should have been fired because they didn't do anything against what their job was telling them to do. All I know is if I got an attack dog
Starting point is 00:38:41 and that dog don't hit that dog gotta go. That's all I know. Let's open up the phone lines. And a security guard actually called this morning. And this is what she said about the whole thing. I'm a security guard. If we leave our post and go help that ugly lady and she gets hurt, we're responsible.
Starting point is 00:38:56 And the building will not back you. Morally is wrong, but they're not obligated to help. All right. Let's talk about it. 800-585-1051. Should those security guards been fired? let's talk about it. 800-585-1051. Should those security guards been fired? Let's talk about it. It's The Breakfast Club. Good morning. Pull out your phone. Call in right now. Call me. Add your opinion to The Breakfast Club topic. Break it down. 800-585-1051. The Breakfast Club.
Starting point is 00:39:24 Yes, two New York doormen closed the doors while an Asian woman was being attacked outside. Now, according to the company that fired them, the Brodsky organization, they said the full lobby video shows that once the assailant had departed, the doorman emerged to assist the victim and flagged down an NYPD vehicle. It is clear that required emergency and safety protocols were not followed so they said we are extremely distraught and shocked by this incident and our hearts go out to the victim i wonder what the protocols were like what were the exact protocols of the building uh i don't know it didn't specify but i i mean i would assume that if something there's an incident outside the building they're supposed to close the door to make sure that the building is safe because they are securing the building that's what their security for they're not securing the street and what they did was was
Starting point is 00:40:06 was cowardly i agree and yes it was foul and morally wrong but should they be fired because they are there to protect the building i mean i remember the security guards here you know whatever happens outside they used to lock the door and we had to push the buzzer to try to get in and he he would look to make sure everything was fine before you open the door like that's why that's how we're dead but yeah i didn door. By that time we're dead. But I didn't expect him to secure me though. I didn't know that's
Starting point is 00:40:28 why they locked the doors. We had to hire extra security up here to secure us. I didn't know that's why they locked the doors here. They lock the doors on Friday all the time. No.
Starting point is 00:40:35 The revolving doors are locked when you got to buzz in. But they lock the doors to make sure nobody can just walk in on the building. They lock the door and sometimes they have to open the door to let you in.
Starting point is 00:40:43 Oh, I've never seen that happen. Yeah, my key card is probably the only one that works that can actually come inside because i used to get here after doing the clubs but you know i don't think they should have been fired that's just me yeah i don't know the protocols of the building uh that they worked in but i think there's times a protocol has to go out the window and to me this is one of those times if i own that building i would be appalled at those security guards lack of remorse and empathy for that old woman. So I wouldn't want them working for me.
Starting point is 00:41:06 Like, you just big for nothing? Like, this is a woman, an older woman, and even after she got beat up, she's just laying there and they closed the door? Like, I don't want you working for me. You can't even open the door and be like, yo, chill! Like, nothing? They said they went outside after the man walked off. After the man almost stomped this old woman to death? But like you said, you just don't know. We don't know how old these security guards
Starting point is 00:41:26 were. And let's not forget the guy that beat the woman, he was in jail for 30 years for killing his mother. They didn't know that. I'm not saying that they know it, but he killed his mother. But they didn't know that. So that don't even matter. You can't open the door in broad daylight just to be like, Yo, chill! Yo, fam,
Starting point is 00:41:42 what you doing? Let me ask you this. In the report, it doesn't say that they're security. It says that they're doormen. Does that make a difference? Yes, that does make a difference. And what is a doorman supposed to do? Well, as a means of protection,
Starting point is 00:41:57 yes, that makes a difference. I don't expect a doorman to secure me. As a man, just as a man, forget the door part. This is a man? Yes, morally, that was cowardly for him not to step up. But as a doorman, it's not a doorman's job. No, not at all. Let's go to the phone lines. That actually makes a huge difference.
Starting point is 00:42:12 Yeah. Doorman versus security. Hello, who's this? Hey, yo, what's up? This is Levi calling from Detroit. What up, though? What up, Levi? Why you named that G, my nigga?
Starting point is 00:42:21 What's up? What's the deal? Listen, Paul, not only should they have been fired, they should have been arrested. We need some kind of federal law in America, like a good Samaritan law that holds each citizen responsible when you see a crime being committed that you need to intervene. Now you're going too far now. That was actually a great episode on Seinfeld, the good Samaritan law. Some people are cowards, though, and you don't expect that out of people. Like, it is what it is.
Starting point is 00:42:48 Everybody's not born with a heart. So you can't expect people to do, for instance, right? Sorry, Yee. Yee seen her friend get beat up outside the stoop, and Yee stayed on the stoop. Like, she was like, I'm not leaving the stoop. You can't arrest her for that. And I tend not to intervene. I was also six years old.
Starting point is 00:43:04 And I tend not to intervene in white people's business. See? So if I saw two white men beating the hell out of one white man, I'd be like, well, we did something. And I'm not going to intervene. Well, we now live in a society where we pull out phones, we yell world stars. That's right.
Starting point is 00:43:19 People get beaten, raped, murdered, and there needs to be a law. I agree with that. We need a law. I agree with that. You can't call 911. You trying be a law. I agree with that. We need a law. I agree with that. You trying to get sued. I agree with that. Right. Either mind your business or keep it moving.
Starting point is 00:43:32 If you pull out your phone and record, you an accomplice. You aiding and abetting. Hello, who's this? What if you feel like your life is in danger, too? Then what? I mean, you want people to help, but, but i mean you can't expect it hello who's this it's fly man hey do you think these these brothers should be fired i at first i didn't i i kind of thought you know it's not in their job but i really thought about what drama said and
Starting point is 00:43:56 if they're supposed to be guarding the building that's bad for business one it's ethically wrong but it's also bad for business. I don't want to see somebody in front of my establishment getting beat up. That makes it seem like anybody could get beat up in front of my establishment or inside. I will say, though, that they didn't tell us the whole story. Because this whole time I thought they were security guards. They were doormen. If they're just doormen, that's not their job.
Starting point is 00:44:24 As a man, I think they let that woman down regardless of what their position was. But if they're just dormant, I'm like, uh, I don't know if they should have been fired. 800-585-1051. We're asking should they have been fired? Call us up. It's The Breakfast Club. Good morning.
Starting point is 00:44:43 That kid don't even eat with that. Call me. Morning, everybody. It's DJ Envy, Angela Yee, Charlamagne Tha Guy. We are The Breakfast Club. Now, if you just joined us, we're talking about the incident that happened. You want to break down the incident that happened in New York, E? Yes, it was an Asian woman that was getting beat up outside and the two people that worked in the building, I don't know
Starting point is 00:45:11 if they're doormen, a concierge, security, but they did not help. They actually closed the door. Lord have mercy. So we're asking. While this was happening and I also just want to say what I think matters is what is the protocol in the building that allegedly they didn't follow? Because if there is a protocol of what you're supposed to do when something like that happens and they didn't follow that protocol, that's a reason to get fired.
Starting point is 00:45:33 I can't see the protocol if something's happening outside to indulge and see what's going on. I can't see that. Protocol is probably to call the police. Like if there's a fight or something going on outside the building, usually they close the door and secure the building and secure the tenants inside. It's a difference between a fight, though, and watching a 38-year-old man beat up on a 66-year-old woman.
Starting point is 00:45:54 I understand protocol, but if I'm the owner of the building and I'm watching those guys, they just had such a lack of remorse, such a lack of empathy for that old woman. I don't want them working for me. All right, well, let's go to the phone lines. Hello, who's this? Yo, this is Anonymous. Anonymous, what's going on?
Starting point is 00:46:13 All right, man, I'm just calling on a security guard that got fired. And what are your thoughts? You know, I work in a building. That's why I'm in the Anonymous, you know, but they train you to be morally wrong. You know, if they say you see something outside happening, lock the door, call the cops. If the owner falls, don't help them.
Starting point is 00:46:32 Call 911. Right, and they train you that way to protect yourself and protect the building, correct? It's not to protect myself, it's to protect the building because we're not going to get help. We're not going to get help. They're not going to help us respond for it. What would you have done in that situation?
Starting point is 00:46:48 You know, I'm going to tell you, I don't know the situation. I don't know how far they are from what they saw and everything, but you know, being naturally from the Bronx, you see somebody need help, you help them, especially the elder lady. I agree. I agree too. I mean, I agree morally that's what you're supposed to do, but
Starting point is 00:47:03 that doesn't mean they should have got fired for doing that. But thank you, man. Absolutely agree, too. I mean, I agree morally that's what you're supposed to do, but that doesn't mean they should have got fired for doing that. But thank you, man. Absolutely not, man. I appreciate it. I listen to you guys every day. You have a go. Yes, sir. Hello, who's this?
Starting point is 00:47:12 Hey, yo, it's Kay from Raleigh, North Carolina. What's good? What's up, Kay? What's happening, yo? What's popping in these streets? What do you think should happen? You all ready? No, I don't.
Starting point is 00:47:21 Hey, yo, Uncle Charlemagne, yo. Yes, sir. Hey, yo, I got to i gotta call you out yo because you turned dj mv out and you you failed to take responsibility for that how i turn mv out talk to me wow wait a second what you gave him a christmas present on your butt you turned him out yo he ain't been the same since so that what you're going for bro? So technically if this was True Blood I'd be his maker
Starting point is 00:47:47 You don't watch True Blood Nevermind that reference went over your head Nah I'm calling because They wasn't wrong for not Helping her out Okay go ahead Why do you say that? Because if they wouldn't have helped her
Starting point is 00:48:04 They would have got fired from their job, and then it would have been nothing. Nobody would have cared about that. Why would they have gotten fired from their job for helping? Because you always get fired when you're trying to be a good Samaritan. No. Let me tell you something. If those guys had helped that woman in that situation,
Starting point is 00:48:24 in this climate, they would be heroes. You hear me? They would be on every morning talk show, every late night talk show. They probably would have got book deals, all types of stuff. In this climate right now? Or they might have been looked at if I went to help this woman, a good Samaritan might have been killed. And we could be talking about, damn, it's messed up. I'm grieving and going to their funeral.
Starting point is 00:48:43 And their kids could have been going to their funeral. Oh, shut up. And we always got to go to the worst possible scenario. That man would have not gotten killed in that scenario. You hear a good Samaritan trying to help somebody while they're dying, getting killed on a train or something. Man, it was broad daylight in midtown Manhattan. I think it's what happened in broad daylight in New York City recently. I'm not saying they don't, but a midtown Manhattan in broad daylight.
Starting point is 00:48:59 That woman could have gotten killed. Exactly. That woman was getting her head stomped in. If they would have went out there and jumped on that man in this car, because all of us are sitting around saying, I wish it would do some stuff like that in front of me, right? Like beat up these old people, right? Asian, black, white, whatever.
Starting point is 00:49:15 If they would have did that, they'd have been heroes. The man killed his mother. He didn't care. They didn't know that. He didn't care. And they protected the building. It's not right, but that's what they did. Hello, who's this?
Starting point is 00:49:26 What's up, bro? What are your thoughts? thinking they got sued, got hugged, and their family's grieving. Morally, it's wrong, 100%. Morally, it's all the way wrong, but they did their job. I honestly don't believe that they should have got fired. It's just wild as men if we say our job is to protect and provide. It's just like I don't understand how we can sit here and say respect older people, respect elders, but you just sit around and watch a 66-year-old woman get her head stomped in like that.
Starting point is 00:50:05 And you say it's just business? Gotta protect my job? Hello, who's this? I'm not saying it's right. It's not right. Hello, who's this? What up, what you just... What's up, bro? What's your thoughts, man? No, I think no, they shouldn't have got fired. I feel like
Starting point is 00:50:22 the only reason why they're getting fired is because the old lady was Asian. It would have been a black person who got whooped. They would have just wrote it off and called it a day. And then you got to think about, too, that lady called in and said that that's not her responsibility. If she would have left her post, she would have got fired, let alone would have she would have got her ass whooped. That would have been worse. All right.
Starting point is 00:50:41 Thank you, brother. What's that? So what's the moral of the story? I mean, I don't know if there is a moral of the story. Like I said, I don't know the protocols of the building. You know what I'm saying? But I just think there's times a protocol you know, it has to go out the window. Like, you know, I just think when you
Starting point is 00:50:53 see somebody show a lack of remorse and empathy like that for an old woman, I wouldn't want people with that type of character working for me. That's all. Alright, now we got rumors on the way, Yee? Yes, and Iggy Azalealea if you were waiting for her to join only fans you can forget it she said she won't do it we'll tell you her reasons why all right we'll get into that next it's the breakfast club good morning hello yes it's the world's most dangerous morning show the
Starting point is 00:51:19 breakfast club charlamagne the god angela yee d DJ Envy. We had a great discussion just now. I was looking at the Breakfast Club poll. It said, should the security guard be fired for not helping the woman that was attacked outside the building? 26.1% of the people say no, it wasn't their fault. 73.9% yes, should have helped. I don't know what the proper protocol is in that situation. I'm just only speaking from the perspective of being a human. Right.
Starting point is 00:51:44 That's all. Right. You know what I mean? perspective of being a human that's all but there's a lot that goes into it we don't know how old these security guards were but if you watch the whole video you see after they go outside they help her out you also see two people coming in and out the building that just walk right by the incident
Starting point is 00:51:58 I don't think age got nothing to do with it cause we saw Ronald Idley have a nice little step the other night at 79 years old. You know what I'm saying? I love it when they call me Big Papa. Ronald Idley would have been ready for action
Starting point is 00:52:10 in that moment, okay? He'd have beat the hell out that man with that cane. With that gold cane? Yeah, absolutely. That's right. You know what I'm saying? Yeah, I'm watching the video again.
Starting point is 00:52:17 It's just, yeah. The way he closed the door on her, like, all right. It's two questions, I feel like. What's the two questions, Dramos? Because it's, are they doing what they were trained to do that following protocol which they did i guess essentially but then also it's morally wrong you know i'm saying and that's why i would have that's where i would have fired him right because morally wrong part
Starting point is 00:52:38 because it's just a lack of empathy and lack of remorse for me but it's kind of like but you know what else is i'm gonna tell you what else it is, too. Nobody... They're not calling 911. They're just standing there watching. Word. They didn't even pull out their phones to record? They're just standing there watching.
Starting point is 00:52:56 I'm like, at least call 911 while this is going on. Listen, we live in an era where people do something. Whether they... Most of the time, they just pull out their phone to record. Some people call 911. these people did nothing they just they literally just closed the door on the woman like well that's her problem not in a situation like that and it's three of them and they really stood there for a few minutes and watched come on come on yeah but it's it's you just you just don't know you don't know what what they've been trained to do you don't know if they didn't want to lose their job and we could sit here and say oh they should
Starting point is 00:53:23 have they should have they should but we're not in it yeah but i would think you at least call 9-1-1 yeah that has to be part of the but they went outside as soon as it was over they they helped they really did the video shows they open went outside if you watch the whole video but they really stood there for a couple of minutes and watched they went out there to get some halal they didn They didn't get no damn halal food. They didn't even ask that woman if she was all right. All right. You can't even open the door and say, yo, chill, fam. We got rumors on the way.
Starting point is 00:53:54 Yes, and we are going to talk about pictures. You know when there's a picture of you online that you hate? Can you get it scrubbed from the internet? All right. We'll get to that next. It's The Breakfast Club. Good morning. Is your country falling apart?

I am the Supreme Leader of the Grand Republic of Mentonia. Be part of a great colonial tradition. The Waikana tribe own country. My forefathers did that themselves.
Starting point is 00:54:32 What could go wrong? No country willingly gives up their territory. I was making a racket with a black powder, you know, with explosive warhead. Oh my God. What is that? Bullets. Bullets. We need help!

Starting point is 00:57:04 Dan restores my faith in white people every day. Can we drop on a clue about our producer, Dan? Dan restores my faith in white people every day that I come in. He's just a good, caring white man. He's our producer, but he's just a good, caring white man. He just, for no reason just now, he goes, Charlamagne, I think you had a large bottle of Ascension refrigerator for another day. Oh, he did that to me first. He was like, you know you have another bottle of soda, I mean, a bottle of water in the fridge, right? I said, thank you.
Starting point is 00:57:23 Thank you for keeping us hydrated, Dan. I appreciate you. He's like fake helpful. He's a nice guy. He's a nice guy. He really does restore my faith in white men every day. I'm just kidding, Dan. Whose bottle of water is it, though?
Starting point is 00:57:35 I don't know. It's not mine. It's mine now. I have one. All right. Well, let's get to the rumors. Let's talk Iggy Zellier. Listen up.
Starting point is 00:57:42 It's just in. All the gossip. Gossip. The rumor report. Gossip. G it's just in oligarchs gossip the rumor report it's the rumor report the breakfast club so iggy azalea for everybody who was hoping to see her on only fans says that she wouldn't start one she said i think only fans can be really empowering for people but i will never ever join i don't want to make that type of content and it only f's up the bag for people, but I will never, ever join. I don't want to make that type of content. And it only Fs up the bag for people on there who really about that life. Shout out to the baddies, though.
Starting point is 00:58:10 And so then she went on to shout out some of the content creators on OnlyFans to help boost their pages. I see a lot of people. We were talking about this behind the scenes the other day about Bad Baby joining OnlyFans and how she broke all kinds of records and made a million dollars in the first six hours. Who the hell is Bad Baby? Yeah, who's Bad Baby? The Catch Me Outside girl.
Starting point is 00:58:33 That's her name? Oh, I don't know. I mean, you can't keep up nowadays. I never heard of no Bad Baby. I thought she was joking. I thought Bad Baby was Dromo's favorite artist. Man, shut up. Bad Bunny, man.
Starting point is 00:58:42 I don't know, stupid rabbit. Show some respect. Okay. I'm going to call you Silly Sk silly skunk how about that how would you like that so dumb all right and chloe kardashian this bikini photo that was quote leaked of her she's trying to get it scrubbed from everywhere on the internet so anybody who posted this picture is having to take it down it's a copyright infringement but i guess she just didn't like this particular bikini photo i don't know if you guys had a chance to see it before it came off well you know how you take well go ahead
Starting point is 00:59:15 what all you got to do is if you want to take a picture off the internet what you do is you copyright that picture you own it it takes a couple times and then anybody anytime somebody posts it you you you hit them with copyright infringement. What's wrong with the picture of Chloe? Why she wanted it done? I think maybe it wasn't edited the way she would have wanted it to. It said it was taken of her
Starting point is 00:59:36 at a private family gathering and it was posted to social media without permission by mistake by an assistant. Did you see the picture? Yeah. How does it look? It's actually really not a bad picture. Maybe she, I don't know.
Starting point is 00:59:50 I know they smooth out their skin a lot and do different things. So maybe she just wanted to have it look a different way, but she doesn't look bad. It was before the work or after the work, allegedly. Go ahead. I think it was. Go ahead, girl.
Starting point is 01:00:02 I love when you dig in these stories, girl. Go tell me more. All right, let's do some good news. Let's pivot from this. Let's talk about Shaquille O'Neal. Now, there's a video that's been circulating. NBA Buzz's Instagram video. And somebody posted Shaq actually randomly paying for somebody's engagement ring in a jewelry store.
Starting point is 01:00:22 I went in there to get some loop earrings. And I seen a guy come in. He was just so shy. He was saying, hey, how much do I owe to pay off my ring? It was just, and I was like, my man, how much is the ring? And I'm not going to say the amount, but it's not enough for me. But I just, you know, and this is something that I do every day. The other day, me and my mom went furniture shopping,
Starting point is 01:00:41 and this lady, she had an autistic daughter. And, you know, she was also you know looking to pay for some furniture i just i just took care of it so i meant to i'm into making people happy so whenever i leave the house i just try to do it i didn't mean for that to get out because i don't do it for that dropping the clues he does that a lot too i'm with that i love it it's kind of it's kind of energy i love he does that a lot yeah there's a lot too. I'm with that. I love it. It's the kind of energy I love. He does that a lot. Yeah, there's a lot of documented videos of Shaq doing things to surprise people. I think that's amazing.
Starting point is 01:01:10 Now Shaq, why you wearing a hoop earring though? Why you wearing a hoop earring Shaq? Why you wearing a hoop earring Shaq? What's wrong with a hoop earring? It just sounds funny when Shaq first telling the story about the guy. Play it again. Just play it. How much that damn ring bro? I went in there to get some loop earrings.
Starting point is 01:01:25 And I seen the guy come in. He was just so shy. He was saying, hey, how much do I owe to pay off my ring? It was just, I was like, my man, I'm hungry. He just looked so poor. I just had to intervene. He just looked like, come on. You just look so poor.
Starting point is 01:01:38 I had to intervene. You just sound so poor. Shack to Shack. He just sounds so poor. I just had to intervene. Compared to Shack, a lot of us are. I know. We all are compared to Shaq, but I'm just saying that's how he sounds. My man, come on, man.
Starting point is 01:01:49 Looking down at the man in disgust because this man owe a couple more thousand on his ring. That's all. For him, that was Shaq thinking. Come on, man. That's good. That's good. Shout out to Shaq, man. I don't know what a looper is.
Starting point is 01:01:59 Guess what most people would do? Be like, are you done yet? Because I'm trying to get my stuff. Depends how much it was. Yeah, I do stuff like that. Like I said'm trying to get my stuff. Depends how much it was. Yeah, I do stuff like that. Like I said, it depends how much it is. Depends how much you owe.
Starting point is 01:02:10 How much? If it's a couple hundred? Ten thousand? No, no, no. I'm going to keep minding my business. Like I don't see nothing. You know what I mean?
Starting point is 01:02:16 Damn, I was there. Yeah, I know what it is. Depends. That's a good deed. Great deed. Shout out to Shaq. Gotta love it. And Lil Wayne
Starting point is 01:02:24 just bought a new house for $15.4 million. So that's on the West Coast. It's a Hidden Hills mansion. It was built from the ground up back in 2019. 3.3 acres with a main house that's more than 10,000 square feet. And then there's a guest house that's separate. So the whole house is more than 12,000 square feet. All right. Well, that is Mm-hmm. All right.
Starting point is 01:02:46 Well, that is your rumor report. All right. Thank you, Miss Yee. Charlamagne, who you giving that down with? We need Sheree Monique Becton of New Bern, North Carolina to come to the front of the congregation. She thinks she Tasha St. Patrick. We're going to talk about it.
Starting point is 01:02:57 All right. We'll get to that next. It's The Breakfast Club. Good morning. The Breakfast Club. Your mornings will never be the same. Mountain Dew is partnering with HBCUs in an effort to uplift the next generation of badass black innovators and entrepreneurs with the Real Change Opportunity Fun Pitch Competition. Empowering students to go out and do.
Starting point is 01:03:15 Visit MountainDew.com slash RealChange to enter. We're going to be a donkey because right now you want some real donkeys. It's time for Donkey of the Day. So if you ever feel I need to be a donkey man, hit you want some real donkey it's time for donkey of the day so if you ever feel i need to be a donkey man hit it with the heel did she get donkey in the name please i have become donkey of the day at the breakfast club bitches you're a donkey yes hello donkey of the day for wednesday april 7th goes to Sharae Monique Becton of New Bern, North Carolina. This story is a head scratcher. OK, now Sharae has watched Power One too many times. She clearly wants to be Tasha St. Patrick. Hell, maybe she wants to be Ghost. I don't know.
Starting point is 01:03:56 The reason I lean towards her wanting to be Tasha is because Ghost didn't really want to wreak his child in the life. Hell, Tasha didn't either, but she kind of accepted it. I mean, Power Season 6, Episode 7, I believe, Tasha did initiate Tariq into the drug game, sort of. I mean, in that same episode, Ghost is on Tariq's ass about not selling drugs. Remember, he took Tariq's drug money and told him, cut Tommy off, and he was going to tell Tommy Tariq stole drugs from him. Am I making this up?
Starting point is 01:04:23 This is what I recall from that episode. And I remember Tasha telling Tariq that he could be better at selling drugs than Ghost ever was. OK, remember, she didn't want to lose another child to the street. So she told Tariq that he needs her help in learning the streets. Yes, Tasha felt like she could reach Tariq the right way. OK, even though there's no right way to do the wrong thing, you know, to teaching somebody the right way to do the wrong thing is just impossible. By the way, generational drug dealers are stupid. I mean, if you're a young man whose father sold drugs and your father ended up in jail or dead because of it,
Starting point is 01:04:51 what the hell you think will happen to you? Anyway, Sheree St. Patrick, a.k.a. Sheree Monique Becton, has been charged with felony trafficking, cocaine, felony possession with intent to sell or deliver cocaine and misdemeanor child abuse. Why? Let's go to WITN-MBC 6 for the report, please. A woman is arrested after a large amount of cocaine is found in a child's book bag at a New Bern elementary school. The drugs were discovered last Tuesday at Trent Park Elementary. The Craven County Sheriff's Office says the school resource officer found more than nine ounces of the drug. Sheree Becton is now facing several felony charges
Starting point is 01:05:25 including trafficking cocaine and misdemeanor child abuse. It's unclear the relationship between her and the child. 260 grams of cocaine that's a quarter kilo if I'm not mistaken. Let me tell you something I watch my wife forget to pack my kids lunch sometime. I know a lot of parents who have that struggle forget to pack the kids lunch. With that said, I can see how you forget to pack the kids lunch, but I can't see how you forgot that you put a quarter kilo of cocaine in your child's backpack.
Starting point is 01:05:52 Now I was thinking about all the ways this could have happened. And none of them makes sense. I analyzed 14,000,000, 605 possible outcomes were the Dr. Strange. And the only one that makes sense is that she purposely did this and had the young niggas moving that dope. Okay? I was sitting here thinking maybe they got the same book bag
Starting point is 01:06:10 and the kid grabbed the same bag. That's possible, but I doubt it. I doubt the drug dealer's bag would look like the kid's bag. A kid's bag would have Snow White on it, not in it. Not to mention I'm sure the kid looked in that bag before he went to school, right? Don't all kids check their bags before school? Don't you make your kids check their bag before school with me?
Starting point is 01:06:26 At night, yes. Okay. All right. The night before. This had to be purposely done. And what if this kid is selling cocaine at school? I mean, when I was in middle school, I sold candy, but not nose candy. I mean, sugar is a boom in business in grade school, but apparently so is booger sugar.
Starting point is 01:06:41 Now, officers haven't revealed the gender of the child or what his or her relationship to Sheree was. But whatever the relationship, the only other scenario I can think of is that maybe just maybe it was bring a white girl to school day. I don't know. See and see now I'm looking at pics on the Daily Mail of the bus. Then it's just a dirty teal Jan Sport backpack. Not to mention Sheree Becton lists her occupation as working in sales at Walmart. I think I'm figuring it out. I'm putting it together now. Sheree's dating a trap nigga. Yeah, Sheree dating a drug dealer that none of her family likes.
Starting point is 01:07:18 And they have told her repeatedly this man was going to ruin her life. And then this happens. Let me tell you something, Sheree. Tasha would never. Okay, especially in episodes five and six. this man was going to ruin her life and then this happens let me tell you something sheree tasha would never okay especially in episodes five and six seasons five six and seven she would give ghost up so fast okay you should do the same dump this man before he ruins your life even more and don't be afraid to tell on him because he damn sure doesn't care about you uh because if he did you are this child wouldn't be in this situation. I just made up that whole last
Starting point is 01:07:45 part. I don't even know if that's the case, but please give Sheree Monique Becton the biggest, see her? This isn't adding up, but it's more to the story, I'm sure. We're not going to play a game? You want to play a game? You want to play a game? I want to play a game.
Starting point is 01:08:02 Alright, I didn't want to play today for obvious reasons, but okay. I guess we'll play a game? I want to play a game. All right. I didn't want to play today for obvious reasons, but okay. I guess we'll play a game of Guess What? Races! Cherie Monique Becton of New Bern, North Carolina, lists her place of employment as sales at Walmart. A child connected to her got caught with 260 grams of cocaine in a dirty teal Jansport backpack.
Starting point is 01:08:28 DJ Envy, guess what race she is! It's a tough one. It's a tough one. Sales at Walmart. Jansport book bag. I gotta go black. Damn! Damn! Damn! I need more. I gotta go black. Damn, damn,
Starting point is 01:08:46 damn. I need more. You gotta explain yourself. Why? Yeah, why is that? Because you also said. So is it Walmart and a Jansport? Nah, because you also said she got a young nigga. Young nigga, move that dog. I made that up. That was just me. That was me and my assumptions. You know what happens when you make an assumption.
Starting point is 01:09:02 That's right. I don't even know if that's true. That's just my. That's Lenard, Uncle Char, the Charlemagne stereo. I heard you said it and that's what made when you make an assumption. Make an assumption. That's right. I don't even know if that's true. That's just my... That's Leonard, Uncle Charla, Charlamagne's theory. I heard you said it, and that's what made me think about it. I mean, Jansport's a big in the hood. White women can't date drug dealers? Yeah, they can, but Jansport's a big in the hood. Okay. All right.
Starting point is 01:09:16 I think Jansport was big with everyone. I don't know. No? I don't know. And Angelique Cherie Monique Becton of New Bern, North Carolina, does sales at Walmart, according to her Facebook. A child connected to her got caught with 260 grams of cocaine in his book bag or her book bag. Guess what race she is. Well, the only reason I'm going to say African-American is because I don't know any white girls named Sharae.
Starting point is 01:09:46 I know a white girl named Sharae. You do? Oh, I don't. Sharae Johnson. I know. She's white. Wait, shut up. You just made that up.
Starting point is 01:09:53 You could have said Johnson, Jackson. You just made that up. Jefferson. Shut up. You don't know no damn Sharae. I feel like I do know a Sharae, though. Hey, guys. What?
Starting point is 01:10:03 I hate to inform you that both of y'all Are absolutely correct I don't even know If this is a black woman Of the nigger persuasion Because she doesn't seem like it What? Something is not right here I feel like this woman
Starting point is 01:10:16 Is getting set up In some way shape or form It will be more to the story And when it does I will retract donkey of the day But I'm telling you I really truly think it's the man involved
Starting point is 01:10:26 in this situation that got her jammed up. I really do. He said it. All right. Well, ASCII is next. 800-585-1051
Starting point is 01:10:34 if you need relationship advice or any type of advice, call he now. It's The Breakfast Club. Good morning. The Breakfast Club. Here. Yes, I asked him that and he was saying that it's nobody else.
Starting point is 01:10:48 He just wanted to spend time with his family, and he just wants space because we have been spending a lot of time lately. So I guess he just wanted space. Okay. And, you know, he said he was going to be with him and everything, and I didn't want to, not generally. So, I mean, that's why I don't want to think he's cheating, you know? All right, well, number one, yeah, thank goodness y'all don't live together
Starting point is 01:11:07 because it doesn't sound like you guys are ready for all that, being that y'all can't even figure this part out. Do you believe that he just wants to spend more time with his family? Yes, I believe it. But when I said I was going to pull up and he got mad, that kind of threw me for a loop. Why don't you invite him over to your house so you guys can discuss it? He don't like coming over
Starting point is 01:11:28 to my house because, I don't know, it's weird. It sounds like y'all got a lot of things you guys got to work through and start communicating with each other. But I think in a situation like this, only time will tell, right? Because you don't know if he's telling the truth or not. You're a little suspicious, like is something else going on?
Starting point is 01:11:44 And it's not something that you can answer without finding out from him or doing your own investigating. That's the only way you'll know right now because he's not telling you. Right. Yeah, you're going to have to wait and see what's happening and try to make sure you talk to him. But I think it's weird that he doesn't like coming to your house and that you always have to go there and that he got mad that you wanted to come over and that he's not being very very communicative about it yeah he smokes and i don't so i guess he wanted to smoke and everything and so i'm one of those it's like okay you don't smoke or drink so i'm not gonna bite you really because i know i'm gonna be doing that so i don't know if it's maybe he probably respects that i don't do that but he don't want to bite me you know what i mean
Starting point is 01:12:24 okay so you're making the reasons why So I don't know if it's maybe he probably respects that I don't do that, but he don't want to invite me. You know what I mean? Okay, so you're making the reasons why. All right. All right. Well, thank you, Yee. All right. Just don't be, you know, you know what it is, girl. So I don't even have to tell you, but I think you'll find out.
Starting point is 01:12:43 If he's doing something else, you'll find out. If not, and if it's really just family things, then this should pass, but at least y'all gotta be speaking to each other about what's happening. It just feels like you don't know what's going on. Exactly. Alright. Ask Yee. 800-585-1051 if you need relationship advice.
Starting point is 01:12:59 Hit Yee now. It's The Breakfast Club. Good morning. Get some real advice with Angela Yee. It's Ask Yee. Morning, everybody. It's DJ Envy, Angela Yee, Charlamagne Tha Guy. We are the Breakfast Club. We're in the middle of Ask Yee. Hello, who's this?
Starting point is 01:13:16 This is Leah. I'm sorry, you guys. My voice is raspy, but grand rising. Grand rising, top of the top. All right. Well, what's your question for Yee? Okay, Yee. So me and my husband have been together for three years.
Starting point is 01:13:30 We've been married for two. And we've been kind of bumping heads a lot lately. The first couple of years that we were together, a lot of things happened between us as far as him doing things that I just felt was very disrespectful to me and to our relationship. And, you know, I kind of dealt with it for a while, for one, because I was pregnant, and for two, because I loved him and I knew that he was a good person. So I kind of gave him the benefit of the doubt.
Starting point is 01:13:58 But now that we're here, I kind of don't feel the same. Like, I love him to death and I want it to work. But, you know, I kind of withdrew myself from our marriage, from him, just so that I could focus on not being hurt and, you know, just not having to deal with what I went through before, just being more cautious. Right. You put your walls up. Exactly.
Starting point is 01:14:23 Exactly. more cautious. Right, you put your walls up. Exactly, exactly. And so now we're kind of bumping heads because he claims that I don't make him feel loved and I don't show him enough affection. And basically, like, I'm not making him feel like he's important to me and I don't want to lose him. And it's just really tough because I constantly explain to him well, the reason why I kind of withdrew
Starting point is 01:14:48 is because you hurt me. And just because you've been doing good now, you know, I don't know. You know, I do want to say this because this happens all the time, right? We get in a relationship with somebody, they betray us, now we don't trust
Starting point is 01:15:04 them but we want to be with them but it's hard for us to let them in and then they start feeling away because they're like I'm trying but I'm not getting the response that I need from you and I do I do want to say that whatever happened in your relationship if you agreed to work it out that means work and that means you have work to do too not just him just him. Yes. Right. And it's unfortunate because what he did to you was wrong, obviously. And it's something that's going to take a long time for you to get over. But you do have to make steps to do that if that's what you agree to. Don't agree to work on things with somebody and then you're not open to for real work on them. I get it.
Starting point is 01:15:40 I do. But it's like we'll be working on it and everything will be good. And like one, one little small petty thing will happen. And now it gets made into like a bigger deal. Now it's like, I don't love him and I don't care for him. And he don't even know if I really want to be with him. But it's like, man, come on now. You know, I'm basically going off how you
Starting point is 01:16:07 make me feel you know right i've been trying and you say you've been trying but i'm still hurting and he's got to understand he's got to understand that you're still hurting and there are going to be times that certain things set you off and he's got to be really patient with you and y'all have to come to an agreement where he has to see the effort you're making, just like he has to also understand that it's not an overnight process. Right. Yeah, I get that totally. I do.
Starting point is 01:16:35 Right. So he has to know he has to go really hard in order to win your trust back. And it's going to take time. It could take years, you know, just because the trust was broken. That doesn't mean it can't come back. But it is a process just because you think of all the times that you've been hurt. You think of all the red flags that you saw. You want to make sure things are perfect.
Starting point is 01:16:52 You don't want to be a fool again. So because then now you feel like, oh, it's my fault. But I do want to say in life, if you want amazing things to happen for you, sometimes you do have to take a risk. And taking a risk does mean being vulnerable at times. And being vulnerable might mean that, you know, worst case scenario, you're going to get your feelings hurt again. But at least you tried if that's what you wanted to do. That's true.
Starting point is 01:17:16 That's what I'm learning, I guess, you know, to try to be more vulnerable. Now that we're here, I don't want to lose my man. I care about my husband a lot. I just want him to understand that I am hurting and that it's difficult for me. And he got to do everything right from here on out. And he's got to know that. He cannot mess up right now.
Starting point is 01:17:37 And he's got to be patient. But you also have to show him that you're going to allow him to do these things for you. And that's a big step for you. And he should understand that I'm allowing you to come back into my life and work on things and work on repairing them. But it is a process. Right. Oh, my goodness.
Starting point is 01:17:54 You just said a mouthful just here. All right. Well, I wish you the best of luck, man. Work on your marriage. And, you know, let him know. And don't let his efforts go unnoticed either. You know, you can every now and then, just like we want to complain, you can also say, you know what, I and don't let his efforts go unnoticed either you know you can every now and then just like we want to complain you can also say you know what i just want to say thank you right right you're right about that i think you guys are giving me the opportunity
Starting point is 01:18:14 to kind of get that off my chest all right have a good one thank you asky 800-585-1051 if you need relationship advice or any type of advice now we got rumors on the way yes Carmelo Anthony he has announced his own content company it's global
Starting point is 01:18:31 we'll tell you all about it alright we'll get into that next it's The Breakfast Club good morning The Breakfast Club this is The Rumor Report with Angela Yee on The Breakfast Club This is the Rumor Report with Angela Yee.
Starting point is 01:18:58 Well, the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Office is going to announce today that Tiger Woods' horrific crash was caused by excessive speed. But he is not going to face any charges or citations. But they said he didn't press the brakes at all, though, right? I thought I heard that. I don't know, but he did suffer some severe injuries. You know, his SUV struck a raised median. He crossed through two oncoming lanes and uprooted a tree. Why is this still such a story? Because it's Tiger Woods?
Starting point is 01:19:18 Because he dominated the white man's sport and slept with all his women? Because it's Tiger Woods. He got into an accident, the car flipped and nobody knows why. Who cares? It's not like he was, we know it wasn't drugs, we know it wasn't alcohol, so clearly it was
Starting point is 01:19:29 some type of accident. Like, why is this still a story? People still want to know. Right. I mean, they're just now announcing the cause of it because, you know, he could have faced charges
Starting point is 01:19:37 so now we know what the cause was and that he's not going to face charges. So that's the real update that they're going to announce today. All right, Carmelo Anthony
Starting point is 01:19:45 has announced a launch of his global content company. It's called Creative 7. So he's going to be basically working with his longtime business partner, Asani Swan.
Starting point is 01:19:56 And it's a global multi-platform content company. They're going to develop, produce original premium content. That's documentaries, scripted TV, feature films, animation podcasts,
Starting point is 01:20:05 and more. Okay. Dropping the clues bombs from Mello Maiman. Peace to the God Carmelo Anthony. Yeah, he's already partnered with Will Packer
Starting point is 01:20:15 and they're teaming up with award-winning producers, Plan B Entertainment. They're doing a limited narrative series. They've also quietly produced a number of projects that are already out,
Starting point is 01:20:24 which include Blood Brothers. That was done in partnership with A&E Studios, Muhammad Ali, and Malcolm X, their friendship. I never saw that documentary. I read that book. I read the book, Blood Brothers. That's a documentary coming? It's a limited series.
Starting point is 01:20:38 When is that coming? Blood Brothers. This is, it's already out. I've never seen that. I read the book. Wow, okay. All right,. It's already out. I've never seen that. I read the book. Wow. OK. All right.
Starting point is 01:20:48 And let's bring it over to Sweetie now. She has her Pretty Summer playlist and it's the first edition of her annual collaborative playlist with upcoming artists. And so she is personally working with a lot of these newer artists, which is really dope. And just helping them out with her Pretty Summer playlist. She said, I'm sharing my platform and dropping a fly-ass playlist featuring artists who are up next. This is season one. That's dope. So they're not signed. They're trying to get signed.
Starting point is 01:21:14 I don't know if they're signed, but they're just newer, up-and-coming artists. That's dope. Mm-hmm. All right. And Gwen Stefani, by the way, is going to be working with Saweetie. She's doing a remix to Slow Clap with Saweetie. So she's a remix to Slow Clap with Saweetie. So she's out here working and I guess single. All right. Kim Kardashian West is officially a billionaire according to Forbes. So they released their world's billionaire list yesterday
Starting point is 01:21:38 and Kim made it. They said this is the first time she's ever made the list and that's because of her booming businesses KKW Beauty and Skims and that's what's helped her get over the top to get that billionaire benchmark. I'm not mad at her. She's a business woman. She built a lot of different enterprises. They worked. She hit that billion dollar status. Drop on the clues bombs for Kim Kardashian.
Starting point is 01:21:58 I'll be honest. If I got two sisters that are billionaires, I ain't working again. One of them got to hold me down. Boy, if you don't shut up, you think they give a damn about Rob like that? Rob might be in the will. Rob might be in that will. I'm Rob, man. I ain't working.
Starting point is 01:22:12 Two of my sisters billionaires? Rob wasn't working before they were billionaires. So I can't use that as an excuse now, Robert. You're right. Now, do you know who's in the top ten richest in the world? Yes. Who? Jeff Bezos, Bill Gates, Warren Buffett, Elon Musk.
Starting point is 01:22:31 I can't remember who else. I saw the first four. All right. So number one is Jeff Bezos. Number two is Elon Musk. Number three, Bernard Arnaud and family. That's LVMH. And number four is Bill Gates.
Starting point is 01:22:43 Number five is Mark Zuckerberg. Number six is Warren Buffett. I thought Kanye West was on that list a couple of weeks ago. Boy, shut up. If them people wake up with Kanye West money, they kill themselves. Okay. All right. Now let's talk about Miguel. Miguel actually has
Starting point is 01:22:57 a project coming out on Friday. And before that, though, he ended up doing lip service. And one thing that he talked about was his aha moment that caused him to settle down and get married. So was there like a aha moment that made you be like, Alright, listen, I need to settle down. It was a low point. That's why I said that the more clean, clear I can be with my decisions now with the priorities in mind. That means that my odds of making decisions
Starting point is 01:23:25 that I'll be happy about later on, yeah, I wasn't thinking like that. Now it took the proliferation of those decisions to finally hit. My family and friends are like, I don't, we don't really recognize you here. Are you okay? And that was very, very pivotal.
Starting point is 01:23:42 I love Miguel, but what is he talking about specifically? He's talking about settling down and what made him decide to be with his wife when he was, you know, wow, they dated for 15 years. And so that is where they're like a moment. I know that's what happened. Why you don't put that on that man? Because I'm speaking from experience.
Starting point is 01:24:00 You get caught cheating one too many times after a while, like, baby, please don't leave me. I'm going to promise I'm going to be a changed man. I'm going to make a commitment and do what I need to do. Bet you that's what really happened. I don't think so. Black men don't cheat. He's not a black man.
Starting point is 01:24:13 He's Mexican. Latinos don't cheat either. Boy, shut up. Shut up. You just was showing me all kind of pictures on your phone. Yeah, right. You are such a damn liar. Okay, guys, stop it.
Starting point is 01:24:23 It's crazy. But I do want to say his new ep art dearly chic volume four is out on friday by the way he put out volumes one through three on streaming services uh last week and now this week this friday he has a new ep out i can't wait that's what miguel's my favorite r&b artist of the past decade easily all right well that is your and drop on the clues bombs for L'Oreal, too. That was L'Oreal and Miguel, right? Yep, that was L'Oreal.
Starting point is 01:24:50 Yeah, salute to L'Oreal. L'Oreal ain't give that smoke back to Jokoy yet? Not that I don't know if she's seen it yet. She was not happy. No, she was not happy. She definitely saw it. Oh, she did see it. Yes, she did.
Starting point is 01:25:01 She tweeted about it, too. Oh, she tweeted about it? She tweeted it. Oh, let me go look. Yeah, let me go look. Let me go see what's happening. Oh me go look let me go see what's happening come on look she definitely wants some smoke
Starting point is 01:25:09 let me see what she put oh and L'Oreal's coming to my car shot in Atlanta too she already told me so Jokoi you better not come let me see L'Oreal here it goes
Starting point is 01:25:18 okay here's what she said I'm legit sitting here like why would I have beef with this man and now I see why and we do have beef first off Jokoi I never capped a day
Starting point is 01:25:25 in my life. Secondly, I'm not just in D.C. I'm syndicated. That was for Charlamagne to say she was just in D.C. First of all, I love L'Oreal. Man, you are a liar and you've always been a liar.
Starting point is 01:25:41 I do love L'Oreal. I love L'Oreal. Get him. L'Oreal know I love her. She still packed the tutu in the bag. All right, L'Oreal. All right. Shut up. That is your real name.
Starting point is 01:25:49 And me ain't got no control over nobody except for the Black Ink Crew. All right? You the leader of the Black Ink Crew. And I ain't talking about the people on VH1. I'm talking about the people who have tie-dye beards like yourself. Leave me alone. I ain't got no tie-dye beard. All right.
Starting point is 01:26:02 I was thinking about you, though. There's nothing wrong with that. There's nothing wrong with dying your beard. Hey. Hey, nothing wrong with that. There's nothing wrong with dying your beard. Hey. No. I'm just saying people do what they have to do to enhance themselves. You know what I'm saying? I don't have Beijing.
Starting point is 01:26:12 Like, look at me. There's nothing wrong with enhancements. Like, I got on a full gray sweatsuit right now. I would love to have a penis print, but I don't. You know what I mean? But if I had a way to put some type of cup down there to make it look. You know how when people stand up. You know what I mean? But if I had a way to put some type of cup down there to make it look you know how when people stand up
Starting point is 01:26:25 I want to be the guy online that's standing up with the great sweatsuit and people circling the crotch area like whoo! But that ain't gonna happen. 585-105-1
Starting point is 01:26:35 I'm gonna tell a quick story before I get to the mix. One day I wore a sweatsuit and Charlamagne hit me and he was like I'm so disrespected I'm so upset with you. I said why?
Starting point is 01:26:41 He goes because my friend said he didn't see your print. Now you was looking for my print. What kind of man texts you and friend said he didn't see your print. No, you was looking for my print. What kind of man texts you and be like, I didn't see your print? One of my gay homies. See, get out of here. One of my gay homies absolutely did text me that and say that.
Starting point is 01:26:53 Get out of here. The mix is up next. It's the Breakfast Club. Let's go. The Breakfast Club. Your mornings will never be the same. Mountain Dew is partnering with HBCUs in an effort to uplift the next generation of badass black innovators and entrepreneurs with the Real Change Opportunity Fund Pitch Competition. Now, I'm sending this to the group chat because Envy tried to call me a liar about 20 minutes ago and tried to put something on me. You know what I'm saying? What did he try to put on you? I got mad. I got homies.
Starting point is 01:27:34 You know what I'm saying? I got homies that are gay. I got homies that are straight. And, you know, we all have free talk. And one of my homies sent me a picture of Envy in a gray sweatsuit. This was October 17th of last year. And he said, they saying little Envy don't have a print at all in his gray sweatpants. Tell him to stick the dark colored sweats.
Starting point is 01:27:50 And so I hit him back and said, he said he tucked it. I just sent it to the group chat. Tell me I'm lying. Am I lying? I think you made that up. How I made that up? Look at the date. It's crazy.
Starting point is 01:28:01 You know what? I'm going to mess with you. I'm going to human resources. Enough is enough. I can't take it anymore. Listen, man. Oh, and a screenshot of the picture of Envy? That's why I have friends of
