Hello, who's this?
This is Dee Dee from the D.
Detroit.
Dee Dee, what up, though?
Dee Dee from Virginia and Detroit.
No, the D.
Oh, the D.
She's from Detroit.
Dee Dee from the D.
That's Charlamagne, man.
You gotta be Charlamagne. Dee Dee from the D. What up, Dee Dee? So Detroit. D.D. from the D. That's Charlamagne, man. You gotta be Charlamagne.
D.D. from the D.
What up, D.D.?
So I want to get it off my chest.
Hey, y'all.
I am very respectable.
I was born in 81, but I am so sad of my mama.
Sorry, mama.
My brother and my baby daddy.
Everybody, just please leave me alone.
It's okay to say no, right?
Yes, it is.
It's called Boundaries. There's a great book
called Set Boundaries, Find Peace
by Nedra Tawwab Glover that talks about that.
Yes, I am
simply the side of everybody else.
People, I wish y'all would call them
the Breakfast Club with your
f*** up. Get out here and do it.
I do whatever I need to do.
I live in Detroit. I hustle.
I survive. Stop begging and get it together, please. That's all I want to do. I live in Detroit. I hustle. I survive.
Stop begging and get it together, please.
That's all I want to say.
And rest in power to Donald Gillespie, my father.
I love y'all.
I listen to you every morning.
Thank you, DeeDee.
DeeDee from the deep.
Have a good one, DeeDee.
Hello, who's this?
What's up, everyone?
What's up, Trav?
Yee.
Hey, Trav. Oh, my God, Yee. Oh, my God? Yee. Hey, Trav.
Oh, my God, Yee.
Oh, my God, Yee.
Did you... Char, did y'all see the article?
They trying to say the gays are spreading monkeypox.
Yeah, I saw that.
Well, I heard Angelique report it this morning.
That was the first time I heard it.
I told y'all Port-A-Potty got blotted over here,
and now he's speaking with men.
Stop it, Trav.
Jesus Christ.
Goodness gracious, Trav.
The gays are not spreading monkey pox.
I do want to say, and if they are, I'm not gay no more.
So you a scientist now?
No, I'm just telling y'all that's what the World Horror Organization says.
So I'm not gay no more, y'all.
So where did that story come from that is prominent amongst that community?
Apparently there was like this rave in Europe,
and some men were sleeping together in Europe at a rave in Europe and some men were sleeping together
in Europe at a rave in Spain
and Belgium and
apparently somebody had monkeypox
and then they brought it back over here but they tried
to say it's spread in between gay men.
Jesus Christ. Well what they did say
is that anybody can get it but
they did say that many of the people
affected globally are people who identify
as gay or bisexual.
Well, I mean, that's not the only people.
Well, the beauty of it is they said that it's a rash that develops around the anus.
So if you are gay, your partner will probably see it.
What?
Sorry.
They trying to put it on us, girl.
They trying to put it on us.
Who is us?
Me and you.
They not going to do that.
I'm only gay on Tuesdays.
Oh, today is Tuesday.
I guess you got me.
You got me.
You got me, Trav.
You got me today.
Well, Trav.
It's going up.
Well, Trav, later on tonight, make sure you check for him, all right?
Bye, y'all.
Get it off your chest.
800-585-1051.
If you need to vent, hit us up now.
It's The Breakfast Club.
Good morning.
The Breakfast Club. Good morning. The Breakfast Club.
Let's go.
This is your time to get it off your chest.
Whether you're mad or blessed.
Say it with your chest.
We want to hear from you on The Breakfast Club.
So if you got something on your mind, let it out.
Hello, who's this?
Hey, how you doing?
It's LG.
LG, what up?
Get it off your chest, brother.
What up, man?
Hey, so I'm a car transporter, man.
The way the cars out here, man, they don't respect us, man.
You know, when you see a big truck on the road, you got to move to the side.
Everybody trying to cut us off.
Not giving us no respect out there on the road, man.
Now, I'm going to be honest with you, man. Lately,
I've been feeling like them trucks been driving like they
cars. I feel like it's been like that the last
few years. They be pulling up. They be cutting
over on the side of the road like they
driving regular vehicles.
Hey, look, but sometimes you got to bully your way
in out there, man. Nah, y'all too big to be
bullying your way in. Alright, you got
a Mack truck, bro. You fool around and hit somebody.
Hey, look, I ain't even got a Mack truck.
I transport cars and everything, so I got a three-car service.
Big baby, you know what I mean?
But when you're trying to move over, you're trying to get to the side, you know?
Like, don't nobody want to get over.
Yeah, I don't like that.
I agree with that.
People do try to not let trucks over, and sometimes trucks got to take that
because people will speed up, drive in your blind spot.
So I know that's not an easy thing.
I've seen it happen.
I've probably done it.
Yeah, trucks do the same thing, though.
I don't like that.
Y'all got,
because y'all already got command of the road.
You know what I'm saying?
Y'all can really hurt somebody.
Like, you can't just swerve over into another lane
when you're driving a big-ass Mack truck.
Yeah, but cars got to be careful, too,
because cars be disrespectful to them trucks
and just hop over
and think the truck could just slow down.
It goes both ways. It definitely goes both ways. too, because cars be disrespectful to them trucks and just hop over and think the truck could just slow down. Man, they do. They do.
It goes both ways.
It definitely goes both ways.
That's a lot of weight on the road, man.
All I'm saying is, we see a truck, there's a lot of respect we deserve, you know what
I mean?
Like, we out here every day with a lot of weight, it's a lot of responsibility, you
know what I mean?
You in your truck now, brother?
And we travel.
Huh?
You in your truck now?
No, I'm actually about to head.
I'm heading to work right now to go get my truck.
All right, I was going to ask you to blow the horn, but all right, thank you, brother.
He wants you to blow something.
You're always doing that.
When I was a kid, that was the coolest thing.
We used to drive to Disney back in the day, and you see a truck,
and you get the truck driver to blow the horn.
That was the coolest thing.
Okay, okay.
Y'all ever did that?
Yes.
No.
We used to flash them, and you done showed them your breasts? Yes. No. You used to flash them.
Ever you done showed them your breasts?
That's right.
That's in the hospital.
If you want to signal truckers to blow you, do your thing, King.
See, y'all always take it too far.
What?
Y'all take it too far.
What?
Yeah, you never been to Disney.
That's why you never did it.
Hello, who's this?
Yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo.
Angela Lee, Charles May and the guy DJ Envy.
What's up?
What up?
Get it off your chest, brother. Hey. Today's my birthday. I'm 26 years old, yo. Angela Lee, Charlotte Maine, the guy, DJ Envy. What's up? What up? Get it off your chest, brother.
Today's my birthday.
I'm 26 years old, man.
Happy birthday.
Congratulations, King.
Happy birthday.
Yeah, I woke up early this morning just to call you guys and say, yo, I'm so happy.
I'm a long-time listener, first-time caller from Florida.
Okay.
Well, happy birthday, brother.
What happy you got, though?
How you going to sell it?
No.
Cash money blazed, $2.96.
Now, I'm going to be honest with you.
That's not enough for nobody to want to put nothing in your cash app.
I mean, you're not the only person with a birthday out here, sir.
I mean, if anybody feel generous, anybody feel big ball, I don't know.
Thank you, Charlamagne.
There you go.
No, I ain't got it for you this morning.
I'm being honest with you.
What you doing for your birthday?
I heard you guys gave that girl steak dinner.
I was like, oh, man, me and my wife are going to love it.
She had a better story than you did.
And I think it was something to do with her children.
I'll send you a book, though.
I got a copy of Anita Kopach's Shallow Waters.
I'll send you that for your birthday.
All right.
I got you.
Happy birthday.
It's yours.
Well, you have a good one, brother.
You got it.
Thank you, DJ.
Hold on.
I'll get your address.
Get it off your chest.
800-585-1051.
If you need to vent, you can hit us up.
Now, we got rumors on the way.
Yes, and let's talk about the Real Housewives of Atlanta, Candy Burris.
She has a song that has gone viral on social media.
Tell me if you want to hear this as a single.
All right, we'll get into that next.
It's The Breakfast Club.
Good morning.
The Breakfast Club.
Hey, girls love girls where I'm from.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Good morning, everybody.
It's DJ Envy, Angela Yee, Charlamagne Tha God.
We are The Breakfast Club.
Good morning.
Let's get to the rumors.
Let's talk.
Rosie.
It's about time.
What's going on?
Rumor Report.
Rumor Report.
This is The Rumor Report.
Talk to them.
With Angela Yee on The Breakfast Club.
All right.
Well, according to the Jasmine brand, Rick Ross is going to be E.T.
and he has a non-scripted series coming to the network.
That show will follow him as he tries different outdoor and indoor activities and adventures.
Long overdue.
I can see that.
That probably be on his own property, too.
That's right. And Gunplay should be his co-star on that show.
Long overdue.
Him and Gunplay on that show would be incredible to watch.
Must see TV.
I believe his car show was over the weekend, too.
Right, Envy?
Yeah, his car show was this Saturday.
I think he had like 10,000 people.
No incidents.
So that was a great thing.
Shout to Freddie.
Shout to Rose.
I love to see people doing their own thing in their own car show.
So shout to Rose, man.
Success.
All right.
Now it looks like Rick Ross is also now a free agent.
During an interview with Hot New Hip Hop, he confirmed that.
And then he said he is enjoying the courtship of several labels.
And he's received huge offers that he is mulling over,
including a Def Jam reunion before he makes a decision.
But he said there's really no rush.
I just wonder about stuff like that. Does Rick Ross need a
record label in 2022?
No.
I mean, maybe he wants one.
But I'm sure he doesn't want to do the work. He doesn't want to hire his staff
to do the work on the music side.
Do the music and put it out. It's going to do what it do
nowadays. I still got people that work radio.
I still got people that do the streaming
services. absolutely.
Sure.
Yeah.
People gonna rock,
people... And then it also depends
on the check.
Maybe you want a nice
big old check
just to, you know,
be able to do
what you need to do
and not spend
your own money on it.
Correct.
Ross has a lot
of cultural cachet.
Ross gonna put out
an album right now
and could sell
30,000, 40,000 records,
I think.
Yeah.
With or without a label.
Yeah, but he could have
a label just due to
delay work. You know what I mean? You still gotta work records, but he could have a label just due to delay work.
You know what I mean?
You still got to work records and streaming services.
You still have to pay people to work.
You still have to do marketing.
You still got to do all those things.
And why come out of his own pocket?
Shut up.
What?
I don't believe that.
What don't you believe?
None of that.
I mean, you still got to do it.
I don't see it anymore.
What you mean?
I don't see it anymore.
All right.
Where?
It's okay, guys.
It's everywhere.
Now, let's talk about it.
We have an artist.
All right. Now let's talk about Real Housewives of Atlanta.
A lot has been going on so far this season.
Now, one of the things that happened, besides from being on the show, is that a song that
Kandi had put out a while ago.
It's called Legs, Hips, Body has gone viral on TikTok.
This song is from like 2014.
She had that play that she did back then.
And from 2016, 2014.
Yeah, it's an old song.
It's from a stage play that she had back then.
Yeah.
And she did a post of a video of herself and the song was in the background.
And this song absolutely caught on fire and went viral on social media. Yeah, and she did a post of a video of herself, and the song was in the background.
And this song absolutely caught on fire and went viral on social media eight years later.
Here's that song, Legs, Hips, Body.
Legs and hips and body, body.
Body, body.
I got a good man, yeah
I plan on keeping him around and I like the way, yeah
He touches me and puts it down
Anytime that he wants, I'm gonna make it pop
And at his request, I'll make it drop
I'll bounce, I'll shake till he say stop i'll give it
give it give it give it all i got oh yeah i know and this song is with d woods and funky deniva
also but it's from that play a mother's love that she had did with todd the musical that she did
now candy seeing this go viral even ch even Chloe Bailey posted a reaction on social media.
She said it stuck in her head after posting a video of herself on TikTok strutting to the song.
But what label is working this record then?
She posted a full version of that song with the link to Apple and Spotify.
Wow.
So you can also stream the play of Mother's Love.
See?
All you need is a platform.
Yeah, that's true.
That's it.
But that record came out in 2014.
That's my point. That's my point!
That's my point!
If a label would have heard it, you would have heard it sooner.
I bet you in 2014 she had a label
trying to push it.
No, she didn't at all. She just said it was in a play.
Either way, I don't see no label pushing it.
Now another thing that happened on the
latest episode is the cast of Real Housewives
of Atlanta went to New York City
and there's this ongoing thing where Todd has his own apartment in New Jersey.
It's in Fort Lee.
And Candy doesn't really like the fact that he still has this apartment.
Here's what she had to say about it.
My husband and I are not really having any issue.
But, you know, he has an apartment in New York.
And the thought of it is something that I had to come to grips with.
Child, that's a whole back story.
You're going to have to watch the season to get it.
What happened now?
All right, so apparently this is apartment.
The apartment is an apartment that he shared with his ex.
So he wants, you know, them to be okay with having it,
have a place to go when they're in New Jersey.
Perhaps her daughter could live there, but
Candy just doesn't like the fact that this apartment
that he still has is the one that he used to share
with his ex. But he owns it, right?
It's just something in his real estate
portfolio, right?
Yeah. What's the problem?
She don't probably feel comfortable
staying there when he... I got the same
penis I used to share with my ex. I got the same
mouth I used to share with my ex. It's the same mouth I used to share with my ex.
It's just an apartment.
Maybe not the same bed.
Maybe not the same furniture.
Maybe not the same couch.
Maybe not the same table.
Have somebody come in
and smudge the place.
Nothing that little
Palo Santo and Sage can't fix.
Well, Candy got some bread.
Pray over it.
She says, I don't want
this apartment no more.
Let's get another one.
But it's a piece of property.
It's real estate.
We'll talk about it more,
but that is your rumor report.
That's ridiculous.
That's a good... She doesn't feel comfortable with report. That's ridiculous. That's a good,
she doesn't feel comfortable with it. That's ridiculous. It's a piece of property. It's real estate, bro. All right. Well, we got front page news. Next, what are we talking about?
Well, let's talk about Stacey Abrams. As you know, she is running for Georgia governor for the second
time, and we'll give you some updates on what's going on in that state. All right. We'll get into
that next. It's a chance to sit down with my guests and dive even deeper into their stories,
their journeys, and the thoughts that arise once we've hit the pavement together.
You know that rush of endorphins you feel after a great workout?
Well, that's when the real magic happens.

Tonight, the Warriors take on the Mavericks
at 9pm.
I think the Mavs
can still get one
home in Dallas. I think Warriors
close out in five at Golden State, but I
wouldn't be surprised if they sweep them tonight. I think they're gonna
sweep them. What else you got, Yeezy?
Well, let's talk about
Stacey Abramss as we're watching
what's happening in georgia they said early voting is surging as voters are dealing with new laws
there's a record number of ballots that have been cast ahead of the contest and um you know they
said the incredible turnout demonstrates once and for all that georgia's election integrity
act struck a good balance between the guardrails of access and security. But what they're saying also might be happening is that people are nervous. They're
not sure what's going on. They want to make sure that they vote early just in case there's any
issues and that way they can try to fix them ahead of time. So according to other people,
they've sensed that voters are uncertain about how updates to voting laws will impact them.
And they want to make sure if there's any problems that may arise, they still have time to make sure that gets taken care of.
Now, Stacey Abrams has this to say about running for governor again in Georgia.
We are spending our time on the ground reaching into communities that feel like they've been left behind.
Will you ask President Biden to come campaign with you here?
I look forward to inviting every single Democrat to come to the state
because we need every single Democrat to turn out in the state.
But President Biden specifically, would you welcome him as a servant?
Absolutely. I'm looking forward to unifying all of Georgia,
and I'm glad he said I'm halfway there.
Stacey saw those low approval ratings that came out for Biden yesterday,
and she was like, don't bring that bad juju around me.
That's what that's about.
Now, some voters think that suppression is being felt more in rural areas.
South of Atlanta, they said voter intimidation is more frequent there.
Another thing that voters are confused about is whether it's illegal to do
things like give out ponchos in the rain.
You know, people are not allowed to give voters waiting in line any food or
water.
That's now illegal. So they're saying these rules could trip up some voters because it's supposed
to rain and they expect long lines in some places. And they're like, I don't know if I should go out.
It's going to be raining. Are we allowed to give out pontos? Is that illegal? But they do have a
hotline for anybody who needs to report any issues. Now, here is what Stacey Abrams has to say about
voter suppression. And the narrative is very clear.
Voter suppression is not about stopping voting.
It is about impeding certain voters from participating.
And those voters, as you pointed out, are unlikely to be highly active in a primary.
But that said, we do know that we are seeing outrage driving voters of color to the polls.
The antidote to voter suppression is voter turnout.
They're going to try to make it hard.
So the more of us who show up,
we overwhelm the system with our presence.
But to let them off of the hook for what they've done
simply because they didn't do it as well as they thought
is, I think, nonsensical.
They do this every single time.
It's the same old rhetoric every single time.
Their only strategy against voter suppression is hope. And hope is not a strategy.
They do. They say this every single election season in order to combat voter suppression.
We have to have the largest turnout in history. This is what they do every single time.
And I really wish they pushed the Senate to pass legislation to protect voting rights.
The way the way they push people to go out and vote. I really do.
Well, according to Republican Kemp, he says, I think Stacey Abrams is a great unifier.
I think every Republican in Georgia will be unified after Tuesday.
And Stacey Abrams responded and said she's looking forward to unifying all of Georgia.
She said, I'm glad.
And she said she is halfway there.
It doesn't feel kind of quiet around this campaign as opposed to last time.
I wonder why it does.
Well,
it's the primaries now.
So they're going to see what Democrat is running against which Republican
she's going unopposed.
So we already know she's getting ready for later in the year.
So she's on 85 South show this week to salute to Stacey Abrams.
She's on the 85 South show.
You can listen to the 85 South show podcast on the black effect.
I heart radio podcast network.
That was a great conversation.
All right, and Juneteenth is coming up.
Walmart has removed their Juneteenth ice cream
from the shelves.
So photos of the products that share
and celebrate African-American culture,
emancipation, and enduring hope.
And the ice cream does have the red, green,
and yellow colors on it. it's a swirl of red
velvet and cheesecake flavors my goodness walmart pulled it like they pulled it no longer
oh yeah yeah i saw that because it says great value right yeah i didn't think that was real
no that's like walmart brand i believe so they they did a Juneteenth ice cream to sell some more. Now, if
it was an African-American
company that did that, it wouldn't be
a problem, right? But since it's Walmart
doing great value. I'm shocked that
no African-American company thought
about that. I'm shocked that they didn't come with
the Juneteenth plates and the Juneteenth
decorations and the Juneteenth
balloons. There are, I see it.
I've seen a lot of people posting those things.
What's the name of the company?
Posting all kinds of Juneteenth decorations.
Yeah, I see people posting them.
Oh.
I mean, that's my thing.
I don't know.
I just see people posting the shelves with the items on there.
I wish we realized how much promo and marketing we give things that we don't like.
You know what I mean?
Because there was more promo and marketing surrounding what we don't like. You know what I mean? Because there was more promo and marketing
surrounding what we didn't like about Walmart
as opposed to the people that Angela Yee just said
are doing it.
I don't even know any of the companies that are doing it.
I would like to.
I don't think any of us here know what you said.
I would like to.
Yeah.
But if people on social media would elevate those folks
instead of talking about what you don't like so much, we would know.
Well, people are upset about
big companies monetizing Juneteenth
and
not necessarily honoring or recognizing
it, but just trying to make money off of it.
That's the main thing. You're going to start seeing Juneteenth
sales, 20% sales off of this place
and 30% sales off that. You're going to start seeing that.
Just like Amanda Seale said a couple of years ago when they first
made this a national holiday, she said that they were going to sink or demy Juneteenth. I mean, to start seeing some. Just like Amanda Seale said a couple of years ago when they first made this a national holiday.
She said that they were going to single tomorrow, Juneteenth.
I mean, of course they would.
It's a national holiday.
And this year it's on Father's Day.
All right.
Well, that is your front page news.
Yeah, it's on Father's Day this week.
The only reason I know is because of the car show we do on Father's Day.
It's Juneteenth as well.
All right.
Now.
We promoted it while you were gone yesterday.
Oh, thank you.
All right. Let's open up the phone were gone yesterday. Oh, thank you. All right.
Let's open up the phone lines.
800-585-1051.
Now we were just talking about Candy Burris and her husband.
Her husband has a condo here in New Jersey.
Todd.
And she wants him to get rid of it.
Let's hear her.
My husband and I,
not really having any issue,
but you know,
he has an apartment in New York.
And the thought of it, it's something that I had to come to grips with.
That's a whole back story.
You're going to have to watch the season to get it.
So let's open up the phone lines.
Go ahead.
And for the back story, she doesn't like the fact that he shared this apartment with his ex.
All right.
So let's open up the phone lines.
800-585-1051.
If your ex, well, if your husband or your wife had an apartment with their ex, y'all don't live there, but it's maybe a side home y'all go to occasionally.
Would you want him or would you want her to get rid of it?
800-585-1051.
Let's talk about it when we come back.
It's The Breakfast Club.

Check it. And it began with me. Did you know, did you know? I wouldn't give up my seat. Nine months before
Rosa, it was called a moment. Get the kids in your life excited about history by tuning in to

Muhammad Ali, George Foreman, James Brown, B.B. King, Miriam Akiba.
I shook up the world.
James Brown said, say it loud.
And the kids said, I'm black and I'm proud. Black boxing stars and black
music royalty together in the heart of Zaire, Africa. Three days of music and then the boxing
event. What was going on in the world at the time made this fight as important that anything else
is going on on the planet. My grandfather laid on the ropes and let George Foreman
basically just punch himself out.
Welcome to Rumble,

Hey, everyone.
This is Courtney Thorne-Smith, Laura Layton, and Daphne Zuniga.
On July 8, 1992, apartment buildings with pools were never quite the same as Melrose Place was introduced to the world.
It took drama and mayhem to an entirely new level.
We are going to be reliving every hookup, every scandal, every backstab,
blackmail and explosion, and every single wig removal together.
Secrets are revealed as we rewatch every moment with you.
Special guests from back in the day will be dropping by.
You know who they are.
Sydney, Allison and Joe are back together on Still the Place
with a trip down memory lane and back to Melrose Place.
So listen to Still the Place on the iHeartRadio app,

Come on.
800-585-1051.
Morning, everybody.
It's DJ Envy, Angela Yee, Charlamagne Tha Guy.
We are the Breakfast Club.
Now, if you just joined us, we're talking about Kandi and her husband, Todd.
Now, what happened with Kandi and Todd, Yeezy?
Right.
Well, Todd has this apartment in New Jersey,
and Kandi doesn't like that he has it
because he used to share this apartment with his ex.
She said it's like re-wrapping a gift.
Let's hear the audio first.
My husband and I, not really having any issue,
but, you know, he has an apartment in New York,
and the thought of it,
it was something that I had to come to grips with.
Shout out, that's a whole back story.
You're going to have to watch the season to get it.
Well, we're asking 800-585-1051.
What do you think?
What's your thoughts?
Start with you, Yeezy.
I mean, I can kind of understand it,
except that they're not really living there.
But he's saying it's a place that they can have,
that they can pass down to the kids one day. they want to might want to use it i don't
know if he's going to rent it out i could say if they were renting it out to other people
and he just owned it for that purpose but i don't know that i would want to stay there
where you were sharing this space with your ex i agree when they come to jersey they would stay
there and their daughter would stay there i mean mean, if Candy has a problem with staying
at that apartment or having that apartment, that's your wife
at the end of the day. If your wife has a problem
and it's not that big of a deal, let it go.
Same thing on the other side. If Candy had an apartment
and she had
with her ex and Todd had a problem with it,
they're married now. What's the big deal? Get rid of it.
I don't understand. I agree
with what you said. I feel like
when you have an ex, you shared a lot more than apartments with that person.
Okay.
There was actual sexual relations.
All right.
And I got the same old penis in the same old mouth I had, you know, back then.
And there was also love at one point in the other relationship.
And sadly, we can't unfornicate with people.
All right.
So, honestly, it just means nothing.
It's just a piece of real estate.
Like you said,
I can understand
if he was trying to live in there
with the family,
but it's just real estate.
They can stay there.
They can get a hotel,
but either way,
it's still a nice piece of property
and trust me,
having an apartment in Fort Lee
is a nice little investment,
especially if you rent it out
or whatever you want to do with it.
So, I mean,
it's just a piece of property.
I think you said the keyword peace and if you want peace in your marriage, sometimes it I mean, it's just a piece of property. I think you said the key word, peace.
And if you want peace in your marriage,
sometimes it's just letting things go so you have that peace.
If that's going to be something that's going to be a problem on either side.
It's a piece of property.
Imagine Todd was like,
I don't want you performing songs that you made with your ex.
That'd be ridiculous, right?
Wouldn't that be ridiculous?
That's how the apartment thing sounds to me.
I mean, you knocked off your
money. It is.
You knocked off your exit.
He could also sell it and still have that money
and get a different place. But what if he don't want to sell it?
I mean, everybody has pieces of
property that, you know, for whatever reason they want
to hold on to. It might just be a good piece of property to
hold on to because it keeps appreciating with value.
Well, let's go to the phone lines. Hello, who's
this? This is Jay, man.
I'm in Michigan. Hey, Jay.
What's going on? Talk to us.
Man, I got a place over in
Chicago. My wife,
I met her. She was in Michigan. I moved
over here to Michigan and she
wants me to get rid of the place.
I rent the place out. We don't even go
there. In fact, she don't even
like going to Chicago. Wow, the whole city she won't go. No, We won't even go there. In fact, she don't even like going to Chicago.
Wow, the whole city she won't go.
No, she won't even go there.
Why does she want you to get rid of it?
I had a lot of exes.
He had a lot of exes, he said.
There's a lot of souls in this country.
A lot of exes. But y'all don't live there.
See, I think it's different. See, he's renting it out.
That's what I keep telling her.
That's what I keep telling her. That's what I keep saying. I'm like, hey, look. See, I think it's different. See, he's renting it out, so he's not living there. Huh? Yeah, that's what I keep telling her.
That's what I keep saying.
I'm like, hey, look, the place is, there's money for it.
I go there, I get the rent.
And most of the time, I don't even go there and get the rent.
I have them take the money to the bank.
Right, I think it's a different situation.
See, in that situation, he's renting it out.
He's never going to live there.
They're not staying there.
There's no reason for them to be there.
But if he's suggesting that Candy stay there when they come to New York or their child lives there, I can understand. Is that what Todd said? Is he saying we that Kandi stay there when they come to New York or their child lives there,
I can understand.
Is that what Todd said?
He said we're going to stay there
when we come to New York?
Yeah, he said it's a place
that they could stay
and they want to spend
more time there.
And he was saying
her daughter could have it.
Riley could have it.
I don't think there's nothing.
Riley says she don't want it.
There's nothing
a little Palo Santo
or a little Sage can't solve.
Smudge the place out, man.
Give it a paint job.
Hello, who's this?
Good morning.
This is Monet.
Monet, good morning.
Good morning, good morning.
I just wanted to give my opinion about the whole Todd having an apartment in New York or what have you.
I just feel like when you become married and, you know, you become one,
I feel like you're supposed to leave all things, you know?
And if we believe in good things, we believe in bad things.
So we don't know what kind of energies, you know,
the ex or what may have transpired in their relationship
could still be in that space.
And, you know, I just feel like it should not be a thing
in their marriage, especially.
But they don't live there.
They live all the way in Atlanta.
It's just a piece of property. Right Atlanta. It's just a piece of property.
If it's just a piece of property, let it go.
But Angelique was saying they might want to use it
if they come into town, they're visiting,
her daughter wants to stay there, they both have children.
I mean, rent it out.
You know what I'm saying?
I agree with that.
Keep the property, rent it out.
Keep the property, rent it out, and then go,
you know what I'm saying, get another property.
But by the way, that's what we say about all properties.
We be like, well, I don't know.
I might put something here myself, or I might rent it out,
or I might live here.
That's just property talk.
That's just property talk.
If you own a piece of property, you're like,
I might put my own business here.
I might lease it out.
If you got a residential, I might live here.
I might rent it out.
When I'm in town, I'll stay here.
Like, it's just talk.
And they do real estate.
He could sell it and get something else that would make her more comfortable.
You know what I'm saying?
Kind of like as an even trade.
What if his agent is telling him to hold on to it because, you know,
property in this area is appreciating with value crazy.

Right now, it's The Breakfast Club. Good morning.
It's topic time.
Call 800-585-1051 to join in to the discussion with The Breakfast Club.
Let's talk about it.
Morning, everybody.
It's DJ Envy, Angela Yee, Charlamagne Tha God.
We are The Breakfast Club.
If you just joined us, we're talking about Kandi and Todd.
Of course, you know them from Housewives of Atlanta.
They were just on the show.
What were they talking about, Yeezy?
Just basically this apartment that Todd has in Fort Lee, New Jersey
He used to share it with his ex
And Candy doesn't like it
She is very unenthusiastic about him still having this place
I wonder if Candy really feels like this
She said it's like re-wrapping a gift
I wonder if Candy really feels like this
Or if it's for the reality show
And hold on you keep saying re-wrapping a gift
Is he trying to give it to her as a gift?
No
No she said it's like re-wrapping the gift is he trying to give it to her as a gift no oh no she said it's like rewrapping a gift that's how she explained it it's like re you know
re-gifting or i don't know why why she said that she just doesn't like it now that i could understand
i could understand her being upset at that if this is a property that you still own with your ex
right and now you're like hey baby i got something for you you know i'm saying i got you this spot
in jersey that's different but i think she just don't want to stay there she don't want to be a part of that that energy like she
feels like that was their old energy she don't want to stay there and she got enough money but
she don't have to now if he was renting it out and he was airbnb in it and they were making money
and the family never had to see it and touch it i think maybe she'd have a change of heart but
we don't know don't suggest don't suggest okay we come to jersey we stay in the old apartment
that you had with your ex i mean that's just talk. He might probably will rent it out one day.
Like, I mean, that's that's that's the logical thing.
And at the end of the day, if they have a problem with it, you know, if your wife has a problem with something that's going on in your relationship or you have a problem with something your husband's doing when you just want to solve that problem.
So they don't have an issue.
A problem is just at the end of the day.
Money is money.
There's some things.
That relationship is different.
There's some things that you potentially shared with your ex that you can't do anything about it could be property it could
especially in entertainment they could be property it could be music it could be kids it's just
something you share with your ex that you probably gonna they their name is always gonna be attached
to it well let's go to the phone lines hello Hello, who's this? Good morning. This is Shayla from Jersey.
Hey, Shayla from Jersey. Hey, Shayla.
Hey, good morning. I love you
guys. I listen to you every morning.
What's your thoughts? Thank you.
My thoughts are, I believe Todd should keep the
condo. I watched his show
for years, and I do
believe what he's saying. Kandi
is a little
jealous of the condo,
but I think he should keep it.
It's a dope condo.
It should be renovated.
And it's somewhere her daughter could be
when she is off of school
or even, you know, at school.
She could live there.
Did daughter go to school with him?
NYU, yeah.
No, she goes to NYU,
but I don't think she would live in Fort Lee
to go to NYU.
That feels like a lot of,
she'd probably rather be on campus.
Well, Lee right there. That's a great place to be. in Fort Lee to go to NYU. That feels like a lot of, she'd probably rather be on campus. Fort Lee right there.
That's a great place to be.
There's no real campus at NYU, but yeah, she could stay there.
She'd probably love that.
Fort Lee right there.
I used to live in Fort Lee.
The view is beautiful.
I watch the show all the time.
And it's probably a quicker trip to Midtown from Fort Lee to the city.
That feels like a long commute, especially with traffic, when you could be living in
a city downtown.
You should have got a train or that ferry.
When I used to live with Wendy Williams, I mean, yeah, when I used to work with Wendy Williams, I used to stay in a condo in Fort Lee.
I used to, like, it was right there.
It's right there, yeah.
It's not far at all.
But M.I.U.'s all the way downtown.
That feels like at least a 30, 40-minute drive.
Well, they have campuses all through the city, but to put it like this, just to put it in perspective,
my daughter stays midtown, and it
takes her 30, 40 minutes to get to class sometimes
depending on traffic. So if you go through
Fort Lee, it'd be a lot easier on that ferry or on
that train. I used to catch the bus.
I used to catch the bus from Fort Lee right there to
Port-A-Thord. I'm so glad
you're doing better now. Hello, who's this?
Nakesha. Hey, Nakesha, what's your thoughts?
So, I feel like
she's just insecure about that situation.
I have an apartment in New York and in Philadelphia,
and I wouldn't get rid of my apartment just because my partner didn't want it.
Okay.
Okay, so you wouldn't even consider it.
Too bad.
No, yeah, because if I got to go there and I got to sleep,
I'm not going to stay in a hotel. That's even more suspicious if'm not gonna stay in a hotel That's even more suspicious
If I gotta stay in a hotel
Or somewhere random
At least in my apartment
You know where I'm at
I don't think it's suspicious
I think she just don't want
That vibe
That juju
That whole feeling
Sage
Palo Santo
Prayer
Florida water
Clean the apartment
So if your ex
If your man
Had an apartment
With his ex right
And they were together
And you know
He was knocking her off
On the bed
The counter
The kitchen
The couch
And all that
Would you want to stay there
I wouldn't care
Because obviously
He's not with her no more
I'm just asking
So what's the moral
Of the story guys
They both got kids
From previous relationships
Don't they
Or am I tripping
I'm not sure
I think she
I know she does
I'm not sure
That's what I'm saying
Like let's put this In perspective man When you have an ex you shared a lot more than apartments
with that person okay you know and you got the same old penis and the same old vagina and the
same old mouths and it's just it is what it is like have somebody come in smudge the place
nothing a little palo santo and a new paint job can't fix like that's just a little
that's slightly petty guys come on all right you know it's something sometimes you can't control
what bothers you that's true too yeah but that's not one i would uh like bother me too much it's
literally just a piece of property real estate all right well we got rumors on the way yes and
let's talk about tank and some things that he had to say recently about Destiny's Child, about Tyrese and TGT and that fallout.
A whole lot of things on Drink Champs. All right. We'll get into that next. It's the Breakfast Club. Good morning.
This is the rumor report with Angela Yee on The Breakfast Club.
Well, the next versus is going to be Memorial Day weekend. It's happening Thursday.
That's this Thursday, May 26th.
And it is going to be 8-Ball and MJG versus UGK.
Dropping the clues bombs for that one right there.
I like that one. A lot lot it's a nice matchup
i mean of course the only thing missing that's an exciting one oh yes of course the only thing
missing is the legendary pimp c but i mean that's you know that's two legendary hip-hop groups right
there yeah ugk and i saw they went live yesterday to announce it and to talk about it. That's going to be a great one.
Who y'all got?
I mean, I'm a huge UGK fan.
So I'm going to ride with UGK, but I'm not sleeping on A-Ball and MJG at all.
Because, you know, you're talking about, you know,
you got to go back to space age pimping and, you know, Mr. Big.
It's a lot of joints.
You don't want drama.
It's a lot.
A-Ball and MJG ain't
no joke. Ain't no slouch. At all.
Yeah, I love both of them, man.
As a fan, I'm just excited
to hear. They wanted to come up here yesterday. They were trying to come up
here. They were in town. They was in New York?
Yeah. Oh, wow.
Yeah, they wanted to come up here yesterday. Coming out hard,
A-Ball and MJG. I mean, listen, I like both of them,
but I'm going to lean
UGK on this one.
All right.
Now let's talk about Tank on Drink Champs.
He discussed a lot of different things, including just getting a blessing from Aaliyah and Aaliyah validating him as an artist.
Here's what he had to say.
Aaliyah told me, you're ready.
You're ready for this.
And like nothing validates you more than a woman that's all
when alia says you're that guy that makes all the difference in the world nothing trumps that
and when she said that to me i took it and i ran with it i'm'm him because Aaliyah said so. And Genuine gave me, he gave me the battery.
That's real.
Nothing validates you more than a woman.
I mean, that's the only reason I get a haircut.
Now, he also talked about why he believes that TGT hasn't pushed forward
and the issues that they had when they were all a super group.
What happened the first time around is we fought to make that album.
It was a hell of a process.
Because y'all all busy.
No, no, no.
Literally, the only thing that kept me from fighting Tyrese,
you know what I'm saying, really slamming him on top of his head,
was that guy right there.
It was Jay Valentine.
What?
Yeah, my manager.
He was like, you can't go over there and fight Tyrese.
I said, why can't I? I't transform this dog i can go to his house we can fight get it off
our chest and then make some more music but you are not gonna text me text me like like i'm not
a grown like tyrese on the text chain oh yeah oh he oh he greasy on the text chain? Oh, yeah. Oh, he greasy on the text chain. Hey.
Tank is not lying.
Tyrese is very filthy on the text chain.
And if he know, I didn't have to say some things to Tyrese on that damn text chain because he be talking crazy.
And acted like he didn't remember.
Yeah.
That was when he was going through his little.
He was.
His mental issues.
I understand.
You know what I mean?
And, you know, whatever he was on had him acting crazy.
Yeah. So I give him grace.
I give him grace.
Salute to Tyrese.
Tank also talked about Beyonce, Kelly Rowland, Destiny's Child,
and working with Kelly Rowland and realizing how talented she is as an individual.
Kelly Rowland is by far one of the most talented females I've ever worked with in my life.
Wow.
By far.
Wow.
And I'm sitting in the studio like,
do y'all hear these harmonies?
Do you hear, do you hear her,
do you hear the text?
Do you hear her, her change in dynamic?
Do you, are y'all hearing this?
What?
I never knew.
Wow.
Because I gave all the credit to Beyonce.
That's how the business of
Destiny's Child was set up
to adore Beyonce
you know what I realized
I realized how much I enjoy
hearing Tank
like I really do like hearing Tank talk
like Tank tells great stories
he really does
you know he does
stand-up comedy.
I've heard.
I haven't seen it,
but I've heard.
I haven't seen it either.
Tank needs a podcast.
But Tank's just a good dude, though.
He's a really good dude.
Underrated, but good dude.
He needs a podcast.
Everybody don't need a podcast,
but Tank has a lot of great things
to say and a lot of great stories
to tell.
He's been around a long time
as a writer and a singer.
He makes for great conversation.
He makes for great talk.
Drop on the Clues Monster, Tank.
Somebody should do a
podcast with Tank.
Tank's a great investor. He invests a lot of money.
He makes a lot of money.
On the next episode of Drink Champs, they do
have Dave Chappelle. Just putting that out there.
They went to Yellow Springs and they have
Dave Chappelle, Mos Def, and Talib
Kweli coming up.
So shout out to Nori.
Shout out to DJ EFN.
Drop on the clues.
All right.
And that is your rumor reports.
Yes.
And make sure you listen to the Drink Champs podcast on the Black Effect iHeartRadio podcast network.
Wherever you listen to podcasts.
All right.
Well, who are you giving your donkey to?
Oh, man.
Four after the hour, we got to go to Florida.
Okay?
We got to go to Florida.
There's a young woman named Tianis Jones.
We just need to talk about etiquette whenever your fast food order gets wrong.
Okay.
Okay.
Please.
We'll get into that next.
It's The Breakfast Club.
Good morning.

Like this one about Claudette Colvin, a 15-year-old girl in Alabama
who refused to give up her seat on the city bus
nine whole months before Rosa Parks did the same thing.
Check it.
And it began with me.
Did you know, did you know?
I wouldn't give up my seat.
Nine months before Rosa?
It was called a woman.

Make sure you tell them to watch out for Florida, man. or wherever you get your podcasts. It gave him too much money. Florida man is arrested after deputies say he rigged the door to his home in an attempt to electrocute his pregnant wife.
Police arrested an Orlando man for talking a flamingo.
It's a breakfast club, bitches.
Donkey of the day with Charlamagne Tha God.
I don't know why y'all keep letting him get y'all like this.
Oh, it's me. It's me, Hondubar.
Listen, donkey of the day for Tuesday, May 24th,
goes to a Florida woman named Tianis Jones.
What does your uncle Charla always say about the
great state of florida well the craziest people in america come from the bronx and all of florida
and i'm starting to think this is just my own personal opinion that i probably formulated while
i was high off about 15 milligrams of an edible but i'm starting to think some of this stuff we
see online is actually just alternate realities you know if you're a marvel head like myself you
are familiar with the multiverse i believe certain things we see on instagram are from
another earth earth 838 okay we are on earth 616 two different earths but if you don't know you're
looking at earth 818 while you're on earth 616 then you will be confused and you will think that
these people actually exist amongst us which keeps us in a constant state of anxiety.
OK, we are a United States of anxiety because of what we see on Earth 818.
Actually, it's not Earth 818 we're looking at. It's Earth 666.
OK, planet of the beast. All right. Nothing but the devil.
In fact, it's Satan's anus and there's a rash around. It might be monkey pox not sure but this woman tianis jones of florida was arrested
after calling 9-1-1 because mcdonald's employees got her happy meal order wrong
you heard me right tianis jones was upset that mcdonald's in florida got her happy meal order
wrong tianis is 22 i know what you're. She's way too big and grown for a devil damn
happy meal, but it might not have been for her. She placed an order online, which I didn't even
know you could do at McDonald's, but it is 2022. So it makes sense. She ordered a happy meal,
a filet of fish, tea, fries, and a chocolate shake.
Exactly.
Exactly.
Watch this value meal get all up in your guts.
Okay, French vanilla butter pecan comes out your butt.
Now, what does one do when McDonald's gets their order wrong?
Well, to be honest, when she arrived at the drive-thru,
she was directed to pull up to the third window,
but you know you can't give nobody in Florida direction.
Okay, they don't take directions in Florida. The Jones ignored the directions, parked their car, and entered the restaurant to address the mistake.
Now, I keep telling y'all we must keep in mind we are discussing Florida here.
So when discussing Florida, just know that the way you would address a wrong order at a fast food spot anywhere else in the world is not the way Floridians would.
Would you like to know Tiana's definition of addressing the mistake?
Let's go to Fox 13 for the report, please.
Thursday night, the drive-thru at this McDonald's.
Detectives say when 22-year-old Tiana Jones got the wrong order,
her frustration exploded into frenzy.
They have it ready, but because it was a special order,
they confused some things, and they asked her pull
up to window three we'll fix it for you really quick when she got mcmad i'm at mcdonald's i'm
five months pregnant these people don't know how to run a mcdonald's come on i want my money
they're trying to they're trying to treat me at my money i want my money the sheriff says
joan's sister tried to get her to chill. Nope. Employees offered to reimburse her. Didn't work. She flipped out even more, whacking a sign off the counter that barely missed hitting an employee. Then she tore into a bunch of bottles, scooted behind the counter and went to work on stacks of cups and other supplies. know if she was like two fries short of a happy meal or maybe it was she was short of a happy
meal completely but she created a mcmess and she acted like a mcnutt instead of leaving with one
from the restaurant as a grand finale she whipped up a little shake of her own she pulls her shirt
up there you go there's a little twerk on the way out the door we live in a world full of hepatitis
and COVID and white supremacy
and social media and heart disease
and colon cancer and World War
III possibly and aliens and
Juneteenth Great Value ice cream and
she calls 911 because her McDonald's order
was wrong. Okay?
Listen to the 911 call. Listen.
I'm at McDonald's. I'm five months pregnant.
These people don't know how to run a McDonald's.
I want my money. They trying to cheat me out my money.
I want my money.
They tried to offer her a refund, by the way.
She didn't take it for whatever reason, so I don't get what she's complaining about.
But I remember when Flavor Flavin' Public Enemy told us 911 was a joke.
OK, it's hard enough to get 911 operators to take issues with black people serious as it is and now we wasting their time over devil damn mcdonald's
i understand tianis is five months pregnant so the hormone changes could be one reason for this
uncontrollable anger and she was hungry okay angry and a pregnant woman
i understand okay all right she give me back that filet of fish give me that fish
okay now tianis i understand you 22 but wrong fast food orders are a part of life.
And I shouldn't have to tell you that this isn't how you react to wrong fast food orders.
And what's so interesting about this is I want to know what was messed up.
OK. Only thing that could piss her off like this is they forgot the Happy Meal.
You can only be this unhappy if they actually forgot your Happy Meal.
That makes all the sense in the world, because I bought the Happy happy meal because I was trying to make me or some young child happy.
If they forgot the happy meal, then I understand you getting irate. What makes this story extra
flawed is after this woman comes in McDonald's, knocks over condiments, goes behind the counter
and throws stacks of cups, then calls 911 irateate she twerks on the way out listen to
this part you hear that little there you go there's a little twerk on the way out the door
little twerk on the way out the door you know what happened here somebody pulled up to the
drive-thru playing her favorite song okay might have been city girls but you know when your
favorite record comes on one of those negro spirituals that touches your soul no matter
what you're doing you're gonna stop and do a little jig.
Okay, all I know is if you're five months pregnant and you go to McDonald's
and you order a Happy Meal, filet-o-fish, tea, fries, a chocolate shake,
and you twerk, whoa, whoa.
Once again, I'm not going to sit here and ask why Tionis did this.
All right?
There is no logic in it.
It's simply Florida, ladies and gentlemen.
Florida.
Please give Tionis Jones the sweet sounds and the hammer tones.
Oh, now you are the donkey of the day.
You are the donkey of the day. You are the doggy.
Okay.
Of the day.
Yee-haw.
A happy meal, filet-o-fish, tea, fries, and a chocolate shake, and you twerk?
Last time I heard an order that was guaranteed to give you bubble guts like this was on Alicia Keys' You Don't Know My Name.
What was that, collard greens and hot cocoa or something?
That was a recipe for disaster.
Okay.
I haven't heard a recipe for disaster like this in a long time.
This is guaranteed bubble guts.
Well, let's play an ass game.
I mean a gas game.
You want to ask a question?
No, I said let's play.
What question are you asking?
800-585-1051.
Which fast food spot is guaranteed to give you bubble guts?
Is guaranteed to give you the bubble guts.
Oh, I like this one.
Very interesting.
Let's talk about it when we come back.
This is interesting.
I'm talking gas.
Y'all know what it is.
You know what it is.
800-585-1051. Let's have this conversation.
Some of y'all went there this morning and you're regretting it
already on the way to work. Oh, man.
Alright, it's The Breakfast Club. Good morning.
The Breakfast Club.
It's
topic time.
Call 800-585-1051
to join in to the discussion with The Breakfast Club.
Let's talk about it.
Morning, everybody.
It's DJ Envy, Angela Yee, Charlamagne Tha Guy.
We are The Breakfast Club.
Now, if you just joined us, Charlamagne gave donkey today to who, Charlamagne?
A young lady in Florida named Tiana Jones.
Tiana Jones is five months pregnant.
McDonald's got her Happy Meal order wrong.
So she went into the McDonald's, raising hell, throwing cups,
knocking over condiments, called 911.
And she did a little twerk on the way out.
But it's not necessarily, you know, what she did.
I mean, she definitely got donkey today for what she did.
But what we're discussing here today is her order.
A Happy Meal, a Filet-O-Fish, tea and fries, and a chocolate shake.
Guaranteed bubble guts, if you ask me.
Guaranteed.
So we're asking 800-585-1051, what fast food spot gives you the bubble guts?
Me, you know, I used to love when White Castle, there was a White Castle down the block,
growing up for me in Queens, right there on Springfield Boulevard in Murdoch.
It's actually two blocks away.
And I would get my two double cheeseburger meal, ketchup only.
I didn't like the onions.
With chicken rings.
They didn't have chicken rings when I was a kid.
But when I grew up, they started having chicken rings.
And when I tell you, within 30 minutes, oh, man, I'm lighting the car up first.
Then after I light that car up, when I get to the house, it's all coming out.
I feel like I've heard this in the studio from you before.
You might have.
And when it comes out, it's not coming out solid. It is coming out. I feel like I've heard this in the studio from you before. You might have. And when it comes out, it's not coming out solid.
It is coming out watery.
But that's White Castle's.
But that's for me.
I had the same incident when I was in high school.
I moved to Jersey, and I had never had White Castle before,
but there was one right near my house.
And the first time I ever had it, I got really sick.
I was on the toilet throwing up in between my legs while I was on the toilet.
But I still like White Castle. I'm not going to lie.
Every once in a while, I got to stop by just to try
the double cheeseburgers with ketchup only.
I enjoy it. I like it.
This was Breakfast Club Court. I would
have to say unanimously that
White Castle is guilty.
One million percent White Castle.
White Castle isn't everywhere. It's a burger spot
here on the East Coast that sells these little slider burgers.
We don't have White Castles down south.
You might get some White Castles in the grocery store, in the frozen food section.
But we don't have the franchises.
And I remember driving from New Jersey to South Carolina back in the day with my pops and his wife.
And we stopped in the Bronx on the way leaving Jersey and we got some White Castles.
I farted for 13 hours straight.
Or should I say we farted for 13 hours straight because some of those smells weren't my brand
and it got to the point where my father was actually getting frustrated and he stopped
telling me to stop farting because at some point the White Castle kicked in for him too.
So then it just turned into a trip where every now and then the windows would roll down.
Every now and then the windows would go up.
And we slept, farted, and minded our business until we got back to South Carolina.
Goodness gracious.
Hello, who's this?
Yo, what's up?
This is Jay from the Bronx.
Jay from the Bronx.
Jay, what's happening, King?
What's going on, y'all?
Good morning.
Good morning.
What?
Nah, man, I just wanted to chime in, man.
Listen, I think White Castle definitely takes the cake as far as being one of those places that'll give you the bubble guts.
You know what I'm saying?
That's four for White Castle's because everybody in this room says White Castle's.
We got four for White Castle's.
Hello, who's this?
Jay from Alabama.
Jay from Alabama.
We're asking what fast food spot gives you the bubble guts?
By far, here's that Taco Bell. Taco Bell. Taco Bell. Jay from Alabama. Jay from Alabama. We're asking what fast food spot gives you the bubble guts?
By far, hands down, Taco Bell.
Hey, Taco Hell.
Taco Bell.
Hey, Taco Hell.
Okay.
Now, Nick, our camera guy up here, he also said Taco Bell. Taco Bell.
You know, give him the loose booty.
If you add a few habanero sauce to anything, 20 minutes, easy.
Okay.
I never had that problem with Taco Bell.
I used to work at Taco Bell for two weeks before I got fired by my sister, but I never had that problem with Taco Bell. I never had that problem with Taco Bell. I used to work at Taco Bell for two weeks before I got fired by my sister,
but I never had that problem with Taco Bell.
I never had that problem with Taco Bell.
I don't eat Taco Bell that much, though.
Oh, I take a big beef burrito all day long with the beans.
You look like a big beef type of guy.
Big beef burrito with the soft tacos.
What y'all talking about, bro?
Oh, my bad.
We're talking about Taco Bell, sir.
Yeah, yeah, that's the same thing I was going to say, bro.
I be getting the beef burrito. Yes, sir. Hey. Good Lord. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah. That's the same thing I was going to say, bro. I'll be getting the beef burrito.
Yes, sir.
With the avocado ranch.
Oh, my booty be wet after that.
What?
Wow.
My booty be wet.
Your booty be wet.
That sounds crazy.
That sounds kind of fly, King.
That's what we talk about.
Goodness gracious.
You said that like you need to have your own hotline number.
Like, that was kind of sexy.
Say it again.
What?
It is Tuesday.
It is Tuesday.
You know what y'all always say about Tuesday.
So it is Tuesday.
Goodness gracious.
I don't even know where to go after that.
800.
Down.
What are you talking about?
What are you talking about?
Downtown.
Stop it.
You stop being so freaky.
I was in Africa.
Three days.
Man, stop.
I know you miss me.
800-585-1051.
We're asking, what fast food spot gives you the bubble guts?
Call us now.
It's The Breakfast Club.
Good morning.
Morning, everybody.
It's DJ, Envy, Angela Yee, Charlamagne Tha Guy.
We are The Breakfast Club.
If you just joined us, we're asking, what fast food spot gives you the bubble guts?
All right? In this room, unanimously, hands down, it's White Castle's.
We got one vote for Taco Bell from our camera guy, Nick.
So far on the phone lines, we've had one for White Castle's, one for Taco Bell.
So I think that we.
We had about two, three for White Castle.
Really?
Yes.
Okay.
I'm noticing a pattern.
Trey, good morning.
Good morning.
Good morning, guys.
Peace, Trey.
Where you calling from?
I'm calling from Virginia, man.
Shout out to all my people out here in VA, man.
I listen to y'all every day.
Love y'all guys.
Thank you, brother.
What fast food restaurant guaranteed to give you the bubble guts, sir?
Hey, look, man.
I love it, but I'm going to tell you the truth.
Cookout, dog.
No.
I've never had it.
For real?
That double burger with some Cajun fries, man.
They messed me up the next day, man.
But I love it, man. I keep going back.
I love Cookout, too.
Drop on the Clues Bonk at Cookout.
Explain to the people on the East Coast what Cookout is.
Cookout is a restaurant that sells, I mean, I guess what they say they sell is like cookout food.
But it's just like burgers, and they got these fire-ass milkshakes.
They got a banana pudding milkshake.
Lord have mercy.
You never been to cookout?
I had a bad stomach hurt just now.
Oh, man.
Cookout is,
cookout slaps.
Hello, who's this?
Hi, my name is Erica.
I'm from Long Island.
Hey, good morning.
Now, we're asking
what fast food spot
gives you the bubble guts?
Wendy's and
Really?
Wendy's and White Castle.
Wendy's?
It depends what you get at Wendy's.
The chili will get you.
Yeah.
Okay, Charlamagne.
It depends what you get at Wendy's.
Yeah, the chili will get you.
The chili will get you and the burgers will get you.
Nah, the burgers is good by me.
I never had a problem with the burgers.
The chili will get you, though.
I never had a problem with the burgers at Wendy's.
Hello, who's this?
Hi, this is Janine.
Hey, Janine.
Good morning.
We're asking what fast food spot gives you the bubble guts?
Good morning, guys.
Shake Shack.
What?
Okay.
I've never heard that.
Now, hold on now.
What do you eat at Shake Shack?
Exactly.
What do you eat at Shake Shack?
Oh, my goodness.
Aunt Julie, Charlamagne, I love you guys.
Okay.
What's your order of Shake Shack?
What'd you get at Shake Shack?
Burgers, fries, the hot dog.
I've tried it three times just to be certain.
Totally, totally double guts.
I can't.
I can't do it again.
Now, are you drinking a milkshake with this as well?
Absolutely.
That's the problem.
There you go.
And it's the same thing with Wendy's.
With Wendy's, it's the frosty.
It's the same thing with Shake Shack. It's the problem. There you go. And it's the same thing with Wendy's. With Wendy's, it's the Frosty. It's the same thing with Shake Shack.
It's the milkshake.
It's the milkshake that causes the butt to not be able to control itself.
But you know what my kids can't eat?
IHOP.
Really?
If I bring my kids to IHOP and they start eating those pancakes and those eggs, oh my
gosh.
Really?
The whole house.
And I don't know what it is.
I grew up on IHOP.
IHOP was like a bonus meal. That was like know what it is. I grew up on IHOP. IHOP was like a, you know, that was like a bonus meal.
Like, that was like, you did good in school.
You went to IHOP.
I think everybody that's calling about White Castle is the only thing I know for sure,
food-wise, that will give you bubble guts.
The rest of y'all adding milkshakes to y'all meal in one day.
Yeah, it sounds like that dairy.
That's right.
That dairy is doing it.
You know we lactose intolerant.
Let's try one more.
Hello, who's this?
Yo, what up?
This is Gordo. Let's try one more. Hello, who's this? Yo, what up? This is Gordo.
Gordo.
Gordo.
Now, we're asking what fast food spot gives you the bubble guts.
Look, when my wife is constipated, she be like, yo, let's go get some Taco Bell so that way it could go down.
But for me, White Castle, man.
See?
I'm from the Bronx.
I would never eat White Castle.
I don't like White Castle. I'm all set with White Castle. It's White Castle and man. I'm from the Bronx. I would never eat White Castle. I don't like White Castle.
I'm all set with White Castle.
It's White Castle and Taco Bell.
That is the two winning bubble gut fast food spots.
White Castle is going to take you to a white toilet.
Okay?
And that toilet ain't going to be white when you finish with it.
At least not on the inside.
Damn it, man.
And you can smell White Castle in the past.
It's advertised on the Breakfast Club.
Let's just hope not.
Listen. It could be good. And just hope not listen that could be good
and by the way
that could be a new
selling point
that could be a good thing
yeah
White Castle
have a stomach problem
constipated
well we can help
that's right
and they need a
fart free burger
they need a whole
they need a fart free menu
there's a business menu
at White Castle
that doesn't cause
any gas whatsoever
they should sell it like that
whole new menu
if you can get
gluten-free, why can't you have farts-free?
I don't even know what gluten is.
Me neither. Alright, well, we got rumors on the way.
Yes, and we are going to talk about
Time Magazine's
100 Most Influential People.
We'll tell you some celebrities
you might be familiar with who have made the list.
Alright, we'll get into that next. It's The Breakfast Club.
Good morning.
The Breakfast Club. Good morning.
The Breakfast Club.
Listen up.
It's just in.
All the gossip.
Gossip.
The Rumor Report.
Gossip.
Gossip.
With Angela. Angela Yu.
It's The Rumor Report.
The Breakfast Club.
Well, let's start with Gunna and Young Thug.
They are still locked up.
You know, just a couple of weeks ago, they were arrested on RICO charges.
And Gunna was denied a bond, so he's still in jail.
And Young Thug, in the meantime, got a preliminary hearing.
Prosecutors are bringing up a conflict of interest issue.
And they're talking about Young Thug's legal team.
So right now, after Gunner learning his bond was denied,
he has a trial date, by the way, for January of 2023,
Young Thug made his appearance
and they delayed his decision on bond.
They said there's a conflict of interest
regarding his attorney
and the judge has asked for time to rule
on the prosecutor's motions before deciding on bond.
So he could still potentially get bond, but we don't know.
That's crazy.
Because you should be innocent until proven guilty, right?
So those brothers should be able to go out, at least be able to work
and make some money if it's innocent until proven guilty, correct?
Depends if they think they're a threat or not.
Unless they think they're a flight risk.
Flight risk, threat, yeah.
I don't know.
All right, now.
I know trouble is easy to get into and hard to get out of.
I know that much.
Javante Tank Davis.
His fight is going to break the record for the highest grossing boxing event at the Barclays Center.
So you guys know that's about to happen this weekend.
It's the first big time match at Barclays since the start of the pandemic.
That's about two and a half years.
I actually saw him fight at the Barclays
like five years ago.
Now he is the main attraction.
What do you guys think is going to happen
with this fight with his
opponent?
Gervonta Davis going? I think Tank will win this one.
Tank going? Yeah, he's very highly favored
by the way. I think this is his last fight.
He said he plans to leave Floyd Mayweather
with Floyd Mayweather Jr.
Okay.
So, yeah. So, there you go.
Brooklyn over the weekend. I think
it's also $74.99 if you want to buy
that on Pay-Per-View. I remember when Pay-Per-View was
like way cheaper. I shall be ordering.
This week is Memorial
weekend, right? Yep.
Yeah, so it makes complete sense.
Now, Kanye West and xxx tentacion single
true love is dropping this week and so that donda 2 album has taken a step closer to reality as they
have announced that collaboration by the way that song also appears in the new look at me xxx
tentacion documentary which airs on hulu starting on Thursday. And then the album, Look at Me, the album comes out on Friday.
I thought Donatoo came out.
I thought Donatoo came out on that, what did he do?
That little.
Something Kanye had.
A little.
You hear the screaming?
Funny little app thingy.
Well, beyond the stem, beyond the stem player.
Beyond the stem player, yeah.
Yeah, beyond the stem player.
So, you know, some people, I guess, you can only get in on the stem player.
So now they're talking about making it available.
Now, Kanye is also doing a McDonald's packaging.
Reimagine McDonald's packaging.
And he said, next week, it's the fries.
If you guys saw a post that he put up about it, it looks like a, I don't know.
It looks very artsy, but I'm sure that's going to go crazy.
If you guys saw the McDonald's packaging, he's done.
All right.
Now let's talk about Time Magazine's 100 Most Influential People list.
It's that time of the year when Time Magazine releases that list.
And some of the people on the list in the icon category, Mary J. Blige.
So congratulations to her.
I feel like this has been an amazing time period for her. I love
seeing how Mary J. Blige
is only getting better with time.
Nas also penned a message to her. He said
Mary came up the way we all did. She was a
voice for us, but she wasn't like other
R&B artists at the time. She became a
household name early because she was a hip-hop
artist who also sang. The industry
needed someone like that. The streets wanted
that. Pop culture wanted that.
And she was the one for it because she wasn't
made up. She was the girl around the way with
the big earrings. She was like a spokesperson
for a particular type of girl coming
out of New York and coming out of the streets.
Dropping the clues bombs for Mary J. Blige. Mary J. Blige
need a big-ass statue somewhere.
Now Issa Rae is
also in the icon category.
And Robin Thede said
Issa is not only a prolific writer
a captivating actor and comedian
a profound leader
and a
I can't pronounce this word
efficacious producer
and a music mogul in the making
she's also a consistently hilarious
and loyal friend
other people who made the list
Jasmine Sullivan
who's listed as one of the year's
most influential artists
so congratulations to her she posted wow thank you time I'm on the 2022 Other people who made the list, Jasmine Sullivan, who's listed as one of the year's most influential artists.
So congratulations to her.
She posted, wow, thank you, Time.
I'm on the 2022 Time 100 list.
See the full list here.
So, yes, congratulations to everybody who made that list.
Zendaya is on the list.
Of course, Oprah, Zoe Kravitz, Candace Parker is on the list.
Questlove.
You can't deny any of those people at all. And the thing I like about the Times list is they don't discriminate
because there's people on the list that you may not
agree with, but they are influential.
Putin's on that list, right? Vladimir Putin,
Joe Rogan, you know?
Now Questlove is on the list
and here is his reaction.
Sound of joy
is enlightenment.
Enlightenment.
Faith, fire, joy is enlightenment. Enlightenment. The face fire truth is enlightenment.
Enlightenment.
Face fire.
Face fire.
Sometimes it's music.
Sometimes it's music.
Strange mathematics.
Strange mathematics.
Rhythmic equations.
Rhythmic equations.
The sound of thought is enlightenment.
Enlightenment.
What was that?
That's Chris Love celebrating being on the list.
And he posted, celebrating myself ain't really my fave thing in the world without at least one self-deprecating joke to justify the living in non-deservednessville.
So stopping that toxic behavior last year was hard enough, but you only live once.
And I'm the cat who thought DJing the Time 100 was one of the coolest honors ever.
So, yeah, I'm salty.
I'm not DJing the after party this year, but I guess this honor will do.
Thank you, Ty.
Drop a clue to Mother Quest, love.
Shout out to Quest.
Be kind to yourself, Quest.
You know, like all of us need to be kind to ourselves.
Like, you know, it's not about what other people say about us.
It's about what we say to ourselves.
So he's very deserving.
And that was an actual Wordle that was dedicated to Josh Wordle in his second post
and he also celebrated The Roots
upcoming 30th anniversary and
uplifted Black Thought for his evolution
over the years as well
so you guys can see that full list
for a time available
online and also shout out to
your guy Pete Davidson
he's on the list
and Jack Harlow
actually wrote a tribute to him as well
he said I grew up watching the show SNL
with them and got to
bring them on set his family my mom was
in tears the night before the show I went over to Pete's
apartment and he made my friend and me laugh until
our stomachs hurt I felt like I was experiencing
elite comedy up close and personal
we don't have another one of him
he's daring thoughtful and simply hilarious,
and he's only 28.
I agree. All facts.
And one other person that we want to make sure
that we acknowledge is Kendrick Lamar.
Now, every single song from his album,
Mr. Morale and the Big Steppers,
has charted on the Hot 100.
He had four songs debut in the top 10 also.
So he is the seventh artist to accomplish that feat,
joining Drake, Bad Bunny, Lil Wayne, Future, Juice WRLD, and J. Cole.
So congratulations to Kendrick Lamar.
Dropping the clues, Bob, for Kendrick Lamar.
Said it once, I've said it twice, I've said it a million times.
I think that this is the most important hip-hop album
that I've ever heard in my 43 years of existence.
Yeah.
And 95 out in Kenya was one of the biggest records of the night.
And it's going to help a lot of people.
It's going to give people if you're already on your healing journey, it's a soundtrack for your healing journey.
If you're not yet on your healing journey, it'll probably give you that little extra push you need to actually start going to therapy
and doing the work on yourself.
I really, really, really, really
love and appreciate
and value Kendrick Lamar's new album,
Mr. Morales and the Big Steppers.
All right.
All right.
And N95 was the number one
best-selling single
in U.S. consumption this week.
So congratulations.
How does that even work anymore?
Where do people buy singles at?
I guess they do streaming.
That's what I'm saying.
I scream it, but did I buy it?
I guess a certain amount of streams is considered a purchase.
A sale?
It goes for sale.
Oh, okay.
All right.
All right, well, that is your rumor report.
Up next is the People's Choice Mix.
Get your request in, and shout to everybody again.
I love to see so many people.
Shout to Ross for doing the car show.
Shout to Greg Street.

We are The Breakfast Club.
Again, shout out to everybody that was out in Nairobi, Kenya.
I know they listen every morning on the stream or the YouTube after the show.
So I just want to say I appreciate you guys.
I had a great time.
The food was amazing.
The party was just dope.
So many people.
I will say this.
In other cultures and communities, they really like to dance.
When I was over in Africa, they liked to dance.
You know, in the U.S., a lot of times when we play hip-hop music
and we go to clubs, people want to stand on the couch
and look at each other, but no.
In Africa... Smoke hookah.
They still got their hookah out there,
but they dance. They party.
They have a good time. When you leave there, they're sweating.
So I would just say shout to them. I had a
great time out in Nairobi, Kenya, so
salute to y'all. Can't wait to come back.
It's a beautiful thing.
Alright. When we come back, we got Can't wait to come back. It's a beautiful thing. Mm-hmm.
All right.
When we come back, we got the positive notice, the Breakfast Club.
Good morning.
Everybody, it's DJ Envy, Angela Yee, Charlamagne Tha Guy.
We are the Breakfast Club.
Now, Charlamagne, you got a positive note?
I do, man.
The positive note is simply this.
With the right mindset, we can't lose.
We either practice what we've learned or we learn what we need to practice.
Breakfast Club, bitches!
Y'all finished or y'all done?
