The Brilliant Idiots - Between 2 Bears

Episode Date: October 9, 2026

Street Fighter hits theaters October 16, and Andrew Schulz is counting down to his first major blockbuster, with Charlamagne handing listeners homework to go see it. They also check the competition, a...rgue whether box office records still mean what they used to, and look into whether the promo team photoshopped Andrew’s nose. Then comes the big debate: after Kat’s dad takes a shot at Jimmy Butler, does a championship ring beat a résumé? Chris Morrow brings Dirk, Barkley, and Butler dragging two teams to the Finals, and it spills into Caitlin Clark and the WNBA. Plus LeBron’s prediction-market deal, the Paramount and Warner Bros. Discovery merger, and the Green Lantern finale. ************************************ Sponsor Brilliant Idiots: https://public.liveread.io/media-kit/brilliant-idiots Lil Jon - I Only Shout So You Can Hear Me - Order Jess Hilarious - Til Death Do We Parent - Order 2Chainz - The Voice in my head is God - Order The Black Family Who Built America - Cheryl McKissack Daniel -Order Link Uncommon Favor - Dawn Staley - Order Link Get Honest or Die Lying Why Small Talk Sucks- By Charlamagne Tha God - Order Link Check out Andrew Schulz - www.theandrewschulz.com Check out all the podcast on Charlamagne's "Black Effect Network" - https://blackeffect.com Checks out AlexxMediaAM Mornings Download Cash App Today:  https://capl.onelink.me/vFut/zt3hy9x9 #CashAppPod  Cash App is a financial services platform, not a bank. Starting point is 00:00:00 Yep, Charlamania guy. Andrew Shull. We y'all the brilliant idiots podcast back for another week of Brilliant Idiotness. How's the Kyle Walker? Oh, sir. How are you? How you been, man? I'm good.
Starting point is 00:00:10 You ready? You ready? October 16th. Ooh, next week, man. Buy them up. Buy all the tickets up. Next week. Next week.
Starting point is 00:00:16 How you feeling? Feeling good, man. This is, um, yeah, this is your first, like, major, major, major, major blockbuster. I see the promo everywhere. Theatrical. Yeah, man. How does it feel? It's exciting.
Starting point is 00:00:30 Like, seeing the machine behind it is. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. It makes you realize how big cinema is in terms of promotion and, like, all these events that they're doing and organizing all these things around the world. It's been the biggest year in decades. Bro, it's unbelievable. So I'm sure Hollywood, I'm sure even the people behind Street Fighter, they're like, you know what? Let's put some money behind it because we can make some fucking money. Let's go.
Starting point is 00:00:54 Yeah, everybody's talking about, like, obsession and backroom and, and, of course, the Spider-Man and shit. You forget about shit like Acme versus Coyote. That one, people did not see coming. See what I'm saying? And it crushed. It was shelved. Before, they shelved it. It wasn't even supposed to come out.
Starting point is 00:01:12 And apparently it's fantastic. Like, you cry in it. I haven't seen it. My boy, you know, Shifty. Shifty saw it. And he was like, and remember, Shifty's young. He didn't grow up with it. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:01:21 And he was like, I actually cried. I might go this weekend. Yep. I might go this weekend. So what the job seen a make. You think they photoshop me, bro? I don't know. They photoshopped my nose?
Starting point is 00:01:31 Look at that, is my nose that big? Oh, no, no, no, that's, that's regular. That's not, they didn't do nothing. You think that's regular? I thought you're talking about everything else. You think that, go to the next slide. What you mean? Nah, bro.
Starting point is 00:01:42 I thought they, I thought you talked about everything else. You think that's my nose. Why they do that to you, yo? So they did go to the next slide. No, no, no. You think they're photoshopping or not? Go to the next slide. Meat fighter.
Starting point is 00:01:57 Keep. Go to the next slide. I don't know. Damn. This is grace. Do you think that they Photoshop me or not? You know what's crazy? That monkey's nose is smaller than like the last three pictures.
Starting point is 00:02:07 That monkey is smaller than at least the last three pictures, yo. Come on. Look at my very regular nose versus my Photoshop nose, clearly. Because they like big breathers, man. Big breathers pick block off a spot. What do you? They do. You're not really one of us, man.
Starting point is 00:02:25 Say what? You're not really one of us. You don't. Now I can't even be part of it. I just got to have the big. regular nose? Is that what I got? I would rather have out of the smallest, big nose
Starting point is 00:02:34 than the biggest regular nose. You're not one of us. Nah, I don't do that. No, the last one was crazy. You were full Maclemore in that last one. You can't do that. You can't do that, bro. You can't go full Maclemore.
Starting point is 00:02:45 Never go full Maclemore. Never go full Maclemore with the last one. That was crazy. We're talking about a nose appendage. That's what we're talking about. With full Maclemore, just understand that. Yes, when McElmore did, what they call it, what they call it?
Starting point is 00:02:58 Yeah. Ringo. Yeah, Ringo. Ringo Star. Ringo Star of David. Ringo Star David. What do you want to happen, man? What do you mean?
Starting point is 00:03:07 What do you want to happen? What the movie? You got to speak to the movie. I want to go absolutely crazy. I want to go absolutely crazy. I want to be biggest action movie of the year. I want to go absolutely crazy. What does it need to make?
Starting point is 00:03:17 Oh shit. Spider-Man's biggest action movie the year. I mean, Spider-Man is one of the biggest movies of all time. That's a thing. 100%. Yeah, 100%. Yeah. 100%.
Starting point is 00:03:23 But I was reading something about that. It was interesting. It was interesting. They said movies like Spider-Man now are breaking those records because tickets cost more, not because it necessarily sold more tickets. So, like, if you go look at, like, the movies that are, I guess, considered... I saw that. That was, like, the biggest of all time?
Starting point is 00:03:41 I saw that. I saw that. Yeah, but I would also say that there was much less to do. Like, back in the day, a movie came out, and it was like, you either stared at a fucking wall or you watched the movie, so... That's it. Yeah. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:03:52 You had TV in the fucking movies. Movies used to be an event. I remember going to see Jaws 3D when I was in Kee. when I was a kid. My dad took me to see, remember Jaws 3D? Oh, remember what you would give us those little fucking shitty glasses? That was an event. Jaws 3D was an event. And that thing, like that shit mattered back. Yeah, yeah. Now, I wanted to go absolutely crazy. Number one movie in the world and I just wanted to go fucking nuts so we can make a bunch of these, man. It's the most fun I've ever had making a movie. Really? Yeah, it was unbelievably fun.
Starting point is 00:04:20 It's next week, right? October 16th, yeah. It's going to go number one. It's going to go number one. What else come got that week? Let's look it up. Let's go. Let's go. Look it up. It's going number one regardless, but let's look and see what else comes out on October 16th. Let's shit on the movie industry. Like what? Screte fighter, revenge in the nose. That could be an ill-s school, yo.
Starting point is 00:04:42 You know what I'm saying? I can't look at this anymore, man. I can't look at this. That shit looks crazy. No, that looks absolutely insane. Sense and sensibility, which is a different audience. A what? Sense and sensibility.
Starting point is 00:04:55 Never heard of them. I don't know. Who stars in it? Uh, Daisy Edgar Jones. Not fucking with Street Fighter cast. All right, who else? Not fucking with Street Fighter cast at all. Whale fall?
Starting point is 00:05:06 A high concept, aquatic survivor thriller directed by Brian Dunfield. Nah, anybody fucking. That shit looks fire. Not going to look fire. I'm not going to see the whales, y'all. The whales, like, is, what? You want to see what I'm saying? Other mommy.
Starting point is 00:05:20 Who? Other mommy. Other mommy. That looks good. Who is that? What is that? With Jessica. It's like a holiday.
Starting point is 00:05:29 Yeah, number one, baby. Street fighting number one. It's not even close. Or, hello. Hello. Which we'll call it. We just, um. Your mother is your mother?
Starting point is 00:05:38 Yes. That's a good. Well, you know what it goes, it does go national that week. But there's a different type of movie, though. It's a good movie. Myersha, Marcia Ali. I fuck with him. It's funny.
Starting point is 00:05:48 No, this movie is dope. Yeah. It's dope. It's dope. It's like, it's like if John Q really said, fuck it. Oh. Yeah. Oh, all right.
Starting point is 00:05:58 It's actually an ill concept. I never seen a concept like that. His wife, his wife dies. Yeah, we'll talk about it after, man. Talk about it. But it's already out. It came out. It just goes wide October 15th.
Starting point is 00:06:11 We're going to talk about October 20th. It just goes wide October 15th. It's been out since September 25th. I've seen it now. Best of luck, though. Best of luck, though. Best of luck. Trust me, I'm a doctor.
Starting point is 00:06:20 Yeah, yeah, yeah. What's that about? This is the most. Street fighter, man. Street fighter. We've got the best IP, the best name brand recognition. You know what I'm saying? People grew up off the video game.
Starting point is 00:06:32 Facts. Let's go. Let's go. So when it, if it goes number one, you get like a bonus for that. A bonus? Not even. I'm not even, I don't even think so. I really just wanted to be a success because I thought it was fucking awesome.
Starting point is 00:06:43 And I want people to embrace the franchise so we keep on exploring this world. Word. What the fucking is the tini's on Alex Baldwin? Nah. Huh? Right. They have to trust me. I'm a doctor.
Starting point is 00:06:55 The titty's on Alex Baldwin? The trial of Alex Baldwin. What the hell? I wish I had that type of blindness. You only saw tithies. What a beautiful type of blindness. But they're on a man. Titties is tithy, bro.
Starting point is 00:07:13 That's the type of blindness Christmas had for the last 15 years. He goes to Taiwan. He has the type of blindness he is. Oh, man. We're out here, baby. How was your week? What about you, man? How was your week?
Starting point is 00:07:28 Week was good, you know, getting ready for the Mental Health Expo. It is this Saturday in Newark, New Jersey, Joelle and Diane Bloom, Wellness and the Vent Center. Okay. You know, I had an interesting conversation today. I was at a variety had an event with Outfront called IRL. In real life? In real life.
Starting point is 00:07:47 And it was interesting because all of the panels were literally about how IRL is back, which I found so strange because I'm like, we live in real life every day, but the virtual world has become so big that the rebellious thing to do is just be out there in their life. I'm just like, all you got to do is just remember this is what matters at the end of the end. We log on to this, but live this. I don't know if we spoke about this last week, but like, I think one of the beautiful things, I think we did, but one of the beautiful things about the 90s, our era when we grew up, is there was nothing recorded.
Starting point is 00:08:26 So you got to make a fool of yourself. You got to act crazy. Maybe you did some stuff that were fucked up or whatever because no one was watching, but there was a beautiful authenticity of the way that we got to grow up. I imagine these kids now are growing up thinking every time I stumble,
Starting point is 00:08:42 somebody has a phone out. Every time I fail, somebody's recording. It's like, how are you supposed to create anything if you're worried about what the world is going to think? We're not even kids, though. Think about all of these adults who feel like they got to portray these perfect lives. Never want to make any missteps.
Starting point is 00:08:57 Never want to say the wrong thing. That shit has to suck to live like that. You know how amazing it was when you were miserable, but everyone around you was miserable? Who's beautiful. You know what I mean? There was no Instagram to see somebody on a fucking yacht living their life. It was just you go to a shitty job.
Starting point is 00:09:16 Everyone else got a shitty job. That's when imagination mattered. Fuck you. You know what I'm saying? You could imagine all of this shit. Yeah. Now you really think somebody else, is living like that, which they are, but you see it all the time so it makes you feel like
Starting point is 00:09:28 you're constantly behind. Nah, bro. No, no, no. Go run around, go outside, take a deep prep. That takes, it smells, take, what's the fuck you just? What's the fuck you just? What the fuck just that? I haven't stroke. I need you to make it's October 16th. I'm tired, man. I'm going to make it to stream. I'm going to be here, bro. I'm going to live till 101. It might get a You want to do? It might get a little raggedy along the way, but I'm a buddy. I'm going to get there. If you thought Charlotte didn't give a fuck now, wait until he hits a century.
Starting point is 00:10:02 I know. The shit that's going to come out of this man's mouth. Man. At a hundred years old. But that is the best. If you ever get a chance to sit around an elder, man, like Clarence Avon, those four hours at the polo lounge, I spent with him in Beverly Hills back in the day. Because Clarence just didn't give a fuck.
Starting point is 00:10:22 What are you going to do? I don't think he ever, he never gave a fuck. But at that, died of something. God bless him. So how old was he in 20, 23, 24? I don't remember. I think you should be able to do. Go, go, sorry.
Starting point is 00:10:35 But he just didn't. That's what you want to do. You want to get to that point where you just don't give a fuck. But I'll tell you one thing, though. I think you realize this now, too. You do get to a certain age where you realize, like, it's just not for everybody. I don't need the world to hear this shit. The group chat is.
Starting point is 00:10:52 The group chat is. You know what I'm saying? I mean, you kind of just doing it for attention. You know what I mean? Without realizing whether you're younger. And then when you're older, you really just need two other people to validate your horrible feeling or thought. When these mics go off and these cameras cut off, we say some shit, go home, you know what I mean? Straight up.
Starting point is 00:11:12 I like being in the house. Having an eight, my daughter's home for a fall break, having an 18-year-old. You know what I'm saying? She's talking shit. No, no, no. I'm still saying shit. to make her uncomfortable on purpose. But now she's old enough that you can say wild.
Starting point is 00:11:27 Oh, she can get it. Oh, my God. What? What do you do? Oh, man. Now, I don't even want to say it. You don't know how beautiful the feeling it is when your wife just says your name angry. Exactly.
Starting point is 00:11:42 You know what I'm saying? It feels like your mom. Is that what we're searching for? I need to be punished a little bit. You know what I mean? I just need to know I'm annoying something. Have somebody reeling on it. I'm just looking for a limit.
Starting point is 00:11:57 Where's the boundary? Andrew. That's it. That's it. That's what they still got it a little bit. Look at how confused you. You're going to be saying it. Don't worry.
Starting point is 00:12:08 You don't think I do? You do? What? P. No. I see it's like actual name. Oh. Patrick.
Starting point is 00:12:15 Patrick. Patrick. Patrick. Yo, E.J. Johnson, baby. E.J. and Rihanna are beefing. Why? No, stop it. Come on, E.J. Now, E.J., you know, I love you, but you got to know your limitations. Why can't we got to all love each other? There's levels to this queen shit. All right? There's levels to this queen shit. Hold on. Hold on. There's certain thrones. You can't throw rocks at E.
Starting point is 00:12:39 No, no, no. And Rihanna's one of them. Okay. Now, what happened was, um, E.J. Johnson was temporarily blocked from entering his hotel in Paris. And for whatever reason, he blamed Rihanna. E.J. Johnson gets blocked. God damn it. Sorry, I'm trying to find the thing. Uh, E.J. Johnson, scroll down, scroll up. Let me see it. E.J. Johnson gets blocked from entering his hotel after what? Posing for paparazzi. Fashion week in Paris. And Rihanna just put damn.
Starting point is 00:13:11 Because he says something about it. So this is him getting blocked. What do you say about Rihanna? No, I don't want them beefing, man. Next one. Wait, right here. Look at E.J. You know, he dressed like he's going to a funeral because he's killing you holes. Uh-huh. Okay, you don't ever talk with E.J. Johnson.
Starting point is 00:13:30 Uh-uh. Taylor wishes. Late because Rihanna was late and, you know, like, we didn't care to wait for her, but the show was beautiful nonetheless. Damn. Getting out of there was crazy, but, like, the show itself was beautiful. E.J., you didn't care to wait for Rihanna, but I bet she that show didn't start until Rihanna got this. We didn't care to wait for her, but the show was beautiful nonetheless. That show did not start until.
Starting point is 00:13:51 A-Sap Riri walked into that building, okay? The party don't start until Rihanna walk in, all right? So this came out. It can go either way. You can be bad girl, Rocky, or A-Sap Riery. All right? But I guarantee you that the party didn't start until Rihanna walked in. What's she say?
Starting point is 00:14:07 What did the white girl tell them? They ain't starting until Rihanna start? I don't think we could hear the white girl saying anything. Hmm? But he had to wait. Look at his face. He's so mad. Now, listen.
Starting point is 00:14:21 There's a lot of Queens, E.J. stepping on. Like, 99% of Queens, I mean, E.J. is stepping on. But it's that 1% that E.J. just not going to ever be able to touch. Rihanna's one of them. Yonsei's one of them. Taylor? Taylor who? Me.
Starting point is 00:14:40 Stop playing with me. Oh, now, he's stepping all over. Taylor who? Taylor my suit so I can slide my dick up in. That's not. That's too far. That was too crazy. That was too fun?
Starting point is 00:14:56 Yeah, that was too much. That was too much. That's too much. I was really trying. Because he hit me with a hoot twice. That is so... He hit me with a lot of hooves and I was trying to bring it in there. I didn't know.
Starting point is 00:15:06 It was too many hooves for me to not attempting. I had to attempt it. Telling my suit. So I could look good. Shout out to E.J. though. E.J., you just got to stay in your lane. It's level to this queen. Hey, respect to queens.
Starting point is 00:15:19 All queens. Respect to queens. We're going to respect, listen, I respect E.J.'s place in this queendom. But he just got to know that there's certain queens, he's just not going to ever outshine. I see. That's all. I see what you. That's all.
Starting point is 00:15:32 That's all. I mean, of course, the O.G. queens, you know what I mean? The Patty LaBelle's Stephanie Mills, all things like that. But other than that, E.J., you're having your way with these holes out here. Okay? They're all hating on you. Oh, that's how you know he's doing it. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:15:48 That's how he's doing it. You see how tell over there mad as a motherfucker right? I'm really nice. I'm kind of mad. I'm really bad. I'm really bad. You dropped the letter. Bad is shit.
Starting point is 00:15:56 Yeah. How you mad? How you mad because EJ measurements better than yours? Oh! He does what? Measurement's better than yours. Yeah. You wish.
Starting point is 00:16:06 What are you talking about? I'm on my mind much is better than yours too. Stop. See? You wish. What else we got, Taylor, game? All right. There's a lot.
Starting point is 00:16:18 So do y'all want to go political or you want to go? What's going on your mind? me, we're here, we here. We hear. All you have to throw the ball in there, man. Yeah, then we take it. You just got to give us a little son to chop the fuck up about it.
Starting point is 00:16:28 Since some may have been upset, maybe I would go this way, since it was wasn't like the first game. LeBron's Polly Market deal may not break NBA rules, but it raises an uncomfortable question. I don't, listen, man, I don't
Starting point is 00:16:44 care. You know what I'm saying? Like, I don't care. Like, does LeBron He's LeBron gamble, probably. Has LeBron probably used some of these sites? More than likely, I don't know.
Starting point is 00:16:57 Is the concern that he'll be gambling on basketball? If it's one thing we know LeBron's not gonna do is... Has he ever done anything... Unethical in basketball? In his career, like the guy's like zero strikes. But that's why this is such a big deal. Because they see it as a... He's never given him anything.
Starting point is 00:17:15 He's never given him anything to like really get at him about. Copy, copy, copy, copy. You know what I'm saying? Like, I don't, I don't, I don't care. Yeah. Listen, my goat gambled for real. My goat had a real live gambling addiction that we all know about. That's the crazy thing.
Starting point is 00:17:32 That's when I really be like, all right, come on now, my fellow old heads. Let's not be too, too, let's not jump all over Braun. Even though, too, even though, too. Yes. My goat, Michael Jordan had a real live gambling addiction. But maybe that's why he's doing it. It's like, if you want to take the throne. You know what they mean?
Starting point is 00:17:50 You got to do it better than a goat. You know? All he's doing is endorsing, no. I don't, I don't know. I don't, I don't, I don't, I don't, I don't, I don't, I don't, I don't, I don't, I don't, I go care. My goat gamble for real. He did.
Starting point is 00:18:04 That's fire. Did he not? What a take. What a, take him out of it, though. Like, what about the idea of athletes in general endorsing predictions markets? Because I don't think the, the concern is. The athlete themselves are going to bet or throw a game because they generally make enough money. It's the people around them who might see stuff.
Starting point is 00:18:25 Oh, I know he's going to be out tomorrow night. I'm going to bet the under or on his points or rebounds or playing. What could they know that we don't know? Like, we always know when somebody's on injured reserve. But how would that? We know when somebody gets a games. Any different than regular, like a regular gambling night? Because you might or somebody might not report themselves as injured,
Starting point is 00:18:44 but he's your guy. You're in his inner circle. But wasn't that the issue a couple years ago? That's why I bring it up, yeah. Got it. What do you mean? Break that down for me now. Which guy was it?
Starting point is 00:18:53 It was one of the guys. There was a few guys in the league. Basically, there's like somebody in their inner circle. I think it was Bronz Circle. It was the guy on the Cavs. It was a coach, right? He used to hoop on the cabs and then he was like an assistant coach with the Lakers or whatever. He basically would throw a tip to a buddy saying, yo, LeBron's ankle hurts.
Starting point is 00:19:08 In other words, he's not playing. But everybody knows if LeBron's not playing. That's the other thing. It's like. Might be he's limited. He's going to play, but like he's not going to go. He's not going nuts. This is a great night to bet the under.
Starting point is 00:19:21 And sometimes they don't tell you until right before the game. What y'all think about LeBron taking a helicopter to Philly every day for the game and living in New York? I think you should embrace the greatest city in the world. He is. He's living in the... Wait, what are you saying? You know what I'm saying. Philadelphia.
Starting point is 00:19:35 Oh, you're using... Also, man, I'm just like, I mean, knock on wood, but like, given the history of... I know. They're terrifying, bro. They're terrifying, bro. I get it. I know what we're, I know what makes us feel that way. Rest in peace to Kobe. But people fly on these helicopters all the time with no problems, back and forth every day.
Starting point is 00:19:59 What would you commute? He doesn't even need to do that, though. I'm saying, it's not New York. They're nice restaurants in Philly now. That's what I'm saying. He's a great culinary. Yeah. It wasn't there 20 years ago.
Starting point is 00:20:11 It's really good. He doesn't understand. The Bron never wanted to be in Philly. I understand. It was his second option. He wanted to go to New York. He wanted to bring a, he wanted to bring a, he wanted to bring a, he wanted to bring a ring to the Mecca and then retire. And that would have been like the
Starting point is 00:20:23 Crim della Crem. So he looked around. We had this conversation on the pod. Before he went to Philly, we said what would be the next best city that would win a ring to have that maybe type of New York energy. We know nobody's going to match New York energy. Yeah. But we all agreed Philly probably would be the second best place. Philly got outstanding sports fans. Yeah. Like they love, love, love the sports in Philly. So they will, if they're winning, that city's going to be on fire. And the sixth is having won since what? 1983. Damn. You see what I'm saying? Wait, have they won? 1983. They went to the finals in 2001 with Iverson. I remember. That was it. They didn't win.
Starting point is 00:21:03 They went with an 83? With Moses, Doc, Tony, Mark Ivaroni, Mocheek. Was that before the merger? No, that was today's NBA. They took out the Lakers for nothing. Fofo, foe, as Moses Malone predicted. But it's been a little lean since then. Yeah. We know what it's like. Yeah. And already our former Nick backup center is out for the season, which is very unfortunate.
Starting point is 00:21:29 What was it? Achilles. Killies, five minutes into the game. I don't know if Philly wins it, but if he does win a ring in Philly, it'll be a fantastic start. Not winning. I don't know. I mean, I don't think he is. Listen, I don't know.
Starting point is 00:21:44 The Knicks are running it back. And people are doubting us once again, and we like that position. We like to be doubted. Please bring it on. I mean, seem like James Dolan fucking up again, man. What you think? I mean, it seems like he's fucking up again.
Starting point is 00:21:58 He hasn't given World Wide West an extension yet. He hasn't given Leon Rose an extension yet. Is it great that people know the West? Cat trying to get his money. You know what I'm saying? Like, I don't know. You still got to pay jailing and an OG in a few couple of years? Like, yeah.
Starting point is 00:22:12 Did you guys see Kat's father's comments about Jimmy Butler? Now, what you say? Well, if you recall, Jimmy basically called Cat a loser in Minnesota and said that he and Wiggins were soft and they weren't winners. Right. And now Kat's father is saying, hey, we just got the last laugh. My son has a championship. Jimmy Butler doesn't. That makes him a greater pro and has had a greater career than Jimmy Butler.
Starting point is 00:22:38 Yeah. Has Kat had a greater career in Jimmy Butler? I would say no. I think that we have to. Hold on a say. With this with all due respect to Jimmy, I fucking love Jimmy. Jimmy's an absolute. Jimmy's drag two teams to the finals.
Starting point is 00:22:51 No, he's an absolute. He's the type of guy who literally will win you games by himself in the playoffs. That's the hardest thing to do in basketball, that when every guy is playing at their highest level, he can put the team on his back and he can win you games. There's no question. Heart, desire, no question. But at the end of the day, we're going to remember rings.
Starting point is 00:23:12 And it's not like Kat. Also, and I keep bringing this up. You know, Cat is the greatest shooting big man in history. So you have a ring and you will retire as the greatest shooting big man better than Dirk. And you're still. No, no, no, no, no. Look at the numbers. I don't care what the numbers.
Starting point is 00:23:27 I know you don't care the numbers take because you like white guys. Yeah, not Germans, though. He took. It's different, though, because Dirk and he took tougher shots than cats. Yeah, but it can take a lot of good threes. Dirk was doing off one leg, fade away. Slower. Dirk's not a big man.
Starting point is 00:23:42 He's just tall. Yo, this is a fantastic... He's not a big man. He is a big. Yeah, really? No, he is a big. He had a closer to a wingman thing. But I understand what he was saying.
Starting point is 00:23:53 It's like he would operate on the wing. Kevin Durant's not a big man. He is, but I get what your point. I get your point. Like, Cat's the actual big man. Cat can go down there and bang down low. You know what I mean? And go out there on the perimeter and shoot.
Starting point is 00:24:06 Dirk couldn't do that. Dirk didn't go down low and bang. He did, he did. But he would pivot off and he would... No, Dirk was incredible. I love Dirk. Dirk also got the ring and he put the team on his back. Derek,
Starting point is 00:24:16 no, that's what I would say with Caterg got a ring. Rang! The people have got Rang! Dirk got a rang. Butler doesn't have a ring, but he dragged two teams. The person, as a non-Nix fan that I give all the credit to their championship for predominantly is Brunson. Brunson dragged the team.
Starting point is 00:24:32 Okay, first of all. With Hurtz is the best playing the team. There's no question. With help from OG. And OG. And then you're crazy for not giving Kat credit for what he did in the playoffs. He had an unbelievable playoff. Look at his, look at his,
Starting point is 00:24:42 numbers in the playoffs. I'm thinking of Cat Slander. I can argue that Cat hit arguably the second biggest shot in that... That three? That stepback three. Yeah. In the game that they came back from like 30 points down on the four quarter. Look at Cat.
Starting point is 00:24:55 Look at Cat's playoff shooting statistics. It's unreal. 13 points in the finals. Look at how fast you name that shot. What? That's Step Back 3. Because it was fucking under. I can see it in my head.
Starting point is 00:25:07 That in OG shot, I see those in my head. He's doing a step back three off the dribble. 20 years from that. now you'll be saying that hat step back three and game four of the NBA finals you're going to be when they came back from 29 points you see what I'm saying it was crazy it was it was unbelievable stop listen I fuck with you but this is a good conversation because I think that we we we we don't understand how somebody can have individual accolades but you still have to win in order to be considered elite you know who I've been having that conversation about
Starting point is 00:25:42 That about that about, Caitlin Clark. Caitlin Clark has never won a championship at any level. Not high school, she must. No, she did not. No. He's never even won a state championship in high school. Went to the finals in college twice. Never won.
Starting point is 00:26:01 Haven't gotten out of the first round of the playoffs in the W&A. Really? These are facts. Oh, shit. And if she does it in her career, that will be a match. massive knock. But what's interesting is the second you do, like if Charles Barkley had a ring,
Starting point is 00:26:19 we would probably look at Charles Barkley as one of the five best players, maybe one of the ten best players. Well, let me say, after you, is... Am I wrong? He was dominant, except for the ring. He was so dominant. And he dragged the team to the finals. Drag to and undersized. Do you guys remember how... I mean, he was like
Starting point is 00:26:35 six four, playing power forward. You know why else we put him in the top five? Tell me. Because he would want he wanted the Jordan there. He'd have been the only, he'd been like one of the, the only person to win in the Jordan. Fantastic point. Nobody won in the Jordan. Nobody.
Starting point is 00:26:45 Anybody that would have won in that era and made Michael, you got to be up there. That's why, like, some people do treat those Houston championships with an asterisk. Because Jordan wasn't around?
Starting point is 00:26:57 I don't think that's fair, but some people might say you won when he wasn't playing. Well, hold on. Didn't he lose in the playoffs one of the years? Came back. Okay.
Starting point is 00:27:06 But... Came back in the end of the season. Right. 45, went back to 23. That's when they lost to the magic. Yeah. and then came back, swept the magic the next year. Like, yeah.
Starting point is 00:27:16 All I'm simply saying is somebody like Kaylin Clark has never won a championship at any level. She's got to do it for a leg of. But she's box office, but it's different in women's basketball, though. Why is that? Because the WNBA championship as great as an accomplishment it is,
Starting point is 00:27:30 I don't put that above a women's college championship. Oh, help me understand that. I just don't. I think a women's college championship still matters more, at least right now. Why do you think that is? No, this is the best of the best. Yeah. I don't know if it is.
Starting point is 00:27:45 You think that the talent level goes down after college? I don't know if it changes much. Well, yeah. Why wouldn't it change? It's the best. Because you've got to think these women play all four years. So most of the time when these women come into the WMBA, they're WNBA ready by their junior senior year. Yeah, but they reach their prime, I think, when they're probably 27, 28. And in college, she got to the finals twice. I think college.
Starting point is 00:28:08 In WMBA, she hasn't even got passed out the first ramp. That's a good point. I don't know. I don't know. It just still feels like women's college championship means more than the WMBA finals championship. I don't know why. Is it possible that female basketball is more fundamental dependent, therefore you need a better team, or can the talent that is like Asia, Asia Wilson, can she just be so talented she
Starting point is 00:28:35 could bring a rag-tag group of women? Asia is an anomaly. Okay, so let's take Asia out of it. She's obviously... She's the big fundamental and she's the most dominant. Like, it's like it's not even fair. All right. All right.
Starting point is 00:28:50 But outside of her, is there a talent that is a transcendent talent in the league? About that rookie on Minnesota, I thought. No, got beating the first round. Livia Miles. Got beat the first round. And they had the best record in the league, number one C. And she... And I fuck with Olivia, but she shit to bed in the playoffs.
Starting point is 00:29:10 Like, shit the bet. It wasn't even... Like, didn't even show. You can pull up her stats. You didn't even show up in two games. They got swept. I didn't know that. No, I think they might have won one.
Starting point is 00:29:18 I think they ended up. No, I think they got swept, actually. I don't fucking remember. I don't know. That's a good question. And see, in women's college basketball... Maybe that's how great age is, low key. Probably.
Starting point is 00:29:29 But in women's college basketball, the teams are also structured different. Why is that? Because remember, they're recruiting. You know what I mean? So you're going out there and literally recruiting the best players you possibly can. And the WNBA, you might have one or two of those. In college, you might have five or six of those all one team. This is interesting.
Starting point is 00:29:46 You know what I mean? This is interesting. So you're saying that there is a higher concentration of talent on certain collegiate programs. Absolutely. To the NBA where that talent is dispersed. All across the league. So is there then a bigger drop-off with college teams? Like, for example, the number one seed college team and, like, the number 12 is a massive difference
Starting point is 00:30:07 opposed to the one-and-12 with the WMBA. It's a little bit closing. I think it could be, bro. I think so. I think it really could be. You know, how far has women's basketball come that we have dedicated a segment of brilliant idiots to... I love it. Honestly discussing it, not even making fun of it, like genuinely discussing the greatness.
Starting point is 00:30:28 It's a great sport. I'm looking forward to the playoff games tonight. Atlanta Dream versus New York Liberty, Aces versus Valkyrie. I'm looking forward to the games tonight. I watched a little bit of the last game. I got to be honest, it was a rough watch. Which ones you watch? I guess the last game they played
Starting point is 00:30:44 Bocry and Aces? No, Liberty. Liberty and Dream? Yeah. Why was it rough? Talk that shit, Chris. I was it rough. Talk that shit, Chris.
Starting point is 00:30:53 The motherfucker. A lot of that shit. Maybe it was the defense, but I just watched one stretch where there are like six turnovers in a row. Oh, no. And for Reese, best defense a player in the league. Oh, no. Fucked up.
Starting point is 00:31:03 You see how he's that? Why are we acting like turnover is not a part of the game, Chris? Like, come on. Hey, I went to the Liberty's final run the other year. You want to talk about in real life. That was one of the best events I've ever been doing my life. Real life, baby. We live in a world right now where people are excited about folks being back in real life.
Starting point is 00:31:24 They're excited for live events again. Like, did we forget that we log on to social media but actually live in the real world? I think people had it backwards. I think people were living in social media but logging on to real life. Let me ask you this question. you're somebody who's battled with social anxiety at times. Yes. Being in big groups, et cetera.
Starting point is 00:31:48 Is your version of in real life being with close friends or being with the family? Like, is that still in real life for you? Are you talking about going to events and connecting with people is real life? Well, I'm still doing that with close friends. Right. So if you have a group of people that you feel comfortable around, right, and they ease your anxiety and you feel safe around these people, These are the people you want to share your moments with.
Starting point is 00:32:14 You want to go share your IRL moments with them. So, like I said, this summer, I was outside with the people that I love the most. Like everywhere from Jay Z's concert, the JZ's concert, the Barry J. Blige's concert, you know what I mean? And my wife is always with me. So that's my number one source of comfort, right? Yeah, yeah. So, yeah, you find your group of people that you love to kick you with. And then when y'all feel like going out into the real world, they're experiencing something bigger, you go do that too.
Starting point is 00:32:40 I know I'm bringing this back to earlier, but like, that's really, you got to find the person that you enjoy annoying. That's your wife. The person that you enjoy. If you, because you can annoy somebody for the rest of your life. And is the dudes that you enjoy annoying? That's going to be your home. And the girl that you enjoy annoying.

Starting point is 00:35:25 No, I'm talking from a husband to wife. Beyonce knows, Taylor. Tell me, I'm going to play with you. What's the reprimand percentage in your house? Meaning like, what percentage do you get reprimanded versus you doing it to your wife? I feel like it skews very heavily. I'm always the one. Yeah, we don't reprimand our lines.
Starting point is 00:35:45 What do you mean reprimand, Chris? That sounds old-fashioned, but I'm just saying. Nagging, getting on you, correcting, hey, why didn't you put that away? We're more organized. So 99. That seems to be the percentage of my house. It's truly you, this is the thing that's interesting. They're nagging us because they don't feel comfortable living the way we will live.
Starting point is 00:36:10 We will live with clothes on the floor. I don't even see them. Y'all clearly don't. I cleaned my closet last weekend. He's so happy. Whoa. Tell me. Man.
Starting point is 00:36:22 Your wife was happy. Man, listen, because I was living crazy. Like, it didn't make any sense the way that that closet looked. It looked so crazy that I was telling the cleaning people don't even go in there. You're embarrassed. Don't even go in there. Don't even worry about it. I got to figure this out.
Starting point is 00:36:38 Don't even worry about it. Don't even go in there. Don't even worry about it. It was crazy. Like a catastrophe. It looked. How could it look? You know why I know, though?
Starting point is 00:36:47 Because in our old, that was just, also, you gotta have like a walk-in closet that's the size of my bedroom, I'm assuming. Exactly. Right. But this is the crazy part. Exactly. Exactly. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:36:59 Oh, I show up to you. Listen, but my wife has these two amazing women. Organizers? Man. Professional organizers, right? And she just knew. Eventually, eventually, he's going to get tired of that shit. She knew.
Starting point is 00:37:12 eventually he's going to get tired of that shit and all I said was yo can I have the two ladies she was like done and these two women came over bruh and when I tell you they got I should have took a before and after that's what I was gonna ask for
Starting point is 00:37:25 I didn't take the before and after I should have took the before and after man I thought you said you cleaned it I really thought you literally cleaned it I did I paid for it look at that shit yo how clean that shit look yo bro it looks like a fucking Cassie clothing store
Starting point is 00:37:39 because you gotta think I'm a hoarder That's fine. So I got years and years and years of shit. And so the thing that I love about the organizers, they come in, they just start grabbing shit. And they're like, donate, keep. Donate, keep. But you're giving it away, right?
Starting point is 00:37:56 Donate it. Yeah, I gave a lot today, in fact, to a church. How many bags? Just one today, but I gave about eight the other week. I had 23 garbage, big black garbage bags of clothes. 23. straight up. 23.
Starting point is 00:38:15 That closet had to look crazy. It looked in, you have no idea what I'm talking about. Like, when I stayed looked insane. Like, I used to walk in it like this.
Starting point is 00:38:24 Stepping all this shit. How do you even know that was clean? There's going to be some very well-dressed people getting arrested by ice. No, no, no. I get why it's hard for you to give away shit. You know what fuck he said.
Starting point is 00:38:35 Yeah, but think about it. That's so crazy. It's just very well-dressed people get arrested by ice. And you don't are going to be wearing shawl of any shit. Because it would be like a black fist on a Mexican guy. A lot of paper plane shit.
Starting point is 00:38:48 Paper plane shit. Black power shit. But like, black peckhities. Black power hoodies. Like, how you, how you give them away? You know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:38:58 You can't give away that. I had a FDT shirt. Because remember when Nipsey had the song with YG, FDT, F Donald's show? Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. I had that. Yeah. So I definitely gave away like two and over. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:39:10 There's going to be a Mexican walking around with a The FD shirt in Jersey. Hey, man. Yeah. Hey. Hey. Hey. Hey.
Starting point is 00:39:19 Hey. 23 bags of clothes. Fantastic. My special shouldn't have been in there. No, not. Yours is definitely not. The Taylor made it? Yes.
Starting point is 00:39:28 See? No. I'm beyond with you. I don't even know. I've not seen you with it. I don't give you. No. I wore it, though.
Starting point is 00:39:34 Win. I didn't wear that shirt. I wore it. I didn't. You got on a bomb pregnant. You guys must get gifted a lot of shit. I don't wear it. I wore it.
Starting point is 00:39:42 I don't. I don't. You watch she was on maternity leave. Yeah, you're on maternity. Your award. I bet you look at one of the old Burm's cover videos I had that tail and made it shirt on. Look at it. I don't know if it made the cut, though.
Starting point is 00:39:50 I don't know. I don't know. I really don't. I don't remember, yo. It was donate keep. Get out of here. See you. And these women, yo, these two white women work like Mexicans.
Starting point is 00:40:01 Like, it's like the way they went in. Like, it was no games played. No games. They got a system. Get it out of here. You see how this shit looks? Beautiful. And then...
Starting point is 00:40:12 Yeah, but you had to sit there, right, and, like, tell them yes or no, right? 30 minutes. Beautiful. 30 minutes. Like, when I tell you, it was so efficient. And then the way they was folding my clothes, right? And this was what I, this was, this was me and my wife got into a jacket because I was like, I need to learn how to fold clothes like them. And what your wife said?
Starting point is 00:40:28 She goes, I have the folding thing. So, speaking to Christmas point, she kind of snapped at me. And I'm like, you, first of all, I didn't know y'all had a machine or whatever this shit is. It's like something, you know what I'm talking about Taylor? It's like a board. Yes. Bring it up. So I'm sitting there to hold my whole life trying to fold as good as these people
Starting point is 00:40:47 and y'all using a fucking board. I thought that's why women have tits so they have some of the rest of the clothing. Isn't that why God made tits? Right, man. What else? Taylor, what else? Taylor, what else? Are you wrong about that?
Starting point is 00:40:58 Taylor, what else we got? Taylor, what else we got? Taylor. So this is for you. What? Some guy was talking to y'all. Oh, you know I was deep down that rabbit hole. No, I watched that.
Starting point is 00:41:11 I mean, I knew them stories before he even did Rogan. Oh, Grush? I'd been stopped. So tell me more about these reptilians that your friend encountered. They were alive. Yeah. So they were alive post-crash? Yes.
Starting point is 00:41:24 Why these things keep fucking crashing? So some of it is NHI versus NHI. What? Yeah. They war in the sky. Isn't that in the... You think it's like, wouldn't they get along? They're so advanced.
Starting point is 00:41:39 Yeah. The we have records of them fucking around with each other now the reptilian craft would that thing look like That one is Tick-Tac looking Uh-oh Yeah, I was hoping they were the cool ones yeah the reptilian ones the ones that everyone's terrified Yeah, and and once again like We're doing like and of course it's not always a Tick-Tac once again kind of like what I said, but like that tends to be them
Starting point is 00:42:05 From what I understand obviously hopefully I'm not wrong, but I'm you know Pretty good sourcing on that But when you see like malevolent behavior, right, it's like, well, that's a humanistic lens. You're seeing like an animal lash out and captivity kind of thing, or they're in duress. They're having an emotional experience, et cetera. And it's like, you know, are they actually scary or is it just because of the situations we've been in with them? And so we're kind of bias and all that. Of course.
Starting point is 00:42:33 And so these reptilians, what did they look like? Now, I've never seen that personally. Right. But what did your friend describe this? like very almost like seven foot tall plus sort of gorilla looking scaly skin though
Starting point is 00:42:49 reptile gorillas but there's multiple types there's ones that are more humanoid looking so there's multiple types of reptilian yeah and I'm not an expert on that one that's once again I never saw it in person they get the exact
Starting point is 00:43:04 you know what supposedly happened to those living reptilians from the crash a deceit. What she said? Deceased? Oh, I thought it was over. Deceased. They were killed? Nah, they dropped one off in Somerville, South Carolina.
Starting point is 00:43:20 You saw it? The lizard man. Google it. You know what I'm saying? Come on, man. I'm from the Moose Corner South Carolina. We had the lizard man growing up. You know how many sightings of those reptilian aliens we used to see in Somerville, South Carolina all the fucking time? Look it up. Look up Lizard Man, South Carolina. Y'all are all looking to me. Like, I'm fucking crazy. I've been, like, this is old dudes to me, yo.
Starting point is 00:43:39 I'm seeing this since I was seven, eight years old. Okay, the lizard man. I've been calling this out. No, look, it has a Google. The city of Bishopville, the lizard man details the famous seven-foot-tall reptilian, cryptic. What is that? What? Reptillion crypt-to-I-I-don-what-the-funked.
Starting point is 00:43:56 Cryptic. That reportedly haunts the scape or swamp in Lee County, South Carolina. Crypted. First siding June 1988, okay? I was nine, about to be ten, depending on what the date was. 17-year-old Christopher Davis claimed a scaly green creature with glowing red eyes and three-finger claws attacked his car. Okay, the bench centered around scape or swamp near Bishopville, South Carolina. Witnesses described a bipedal beast standing seven to nine feet tall with green, scaly skin, red eyes, and massive three-told footprints.
Starting point is 00:44:28 When I was in high school, I wrote a story called slang, and it was about the lizard man. And the lizard band used to stay in the swamps of South Carolina, and he used to sit on the outskirts of South Carolina, and he used to watch all of these little black kids play. So he learned how to talk and act by watching the young black kids. And then eventually he came out and introduced himself. All the young black kids embraced them. All the white kids wanted to eat them. Why didn't want to eat them? Because he's a fucking big-ass seven-foot lizard, all that goddamn meat coming out to swamps in South Carolina.
Starting point is 00:45:04 You know, but the- It's good eating. And so either some of the kids were either afraid of them or the other ones wanted, white kids were afraid of them, and some of the white kids wanted to eat them, but all of the black kids embraced them because the black kids are used to being, you know, I don't want to say ostracized, but they're used to being othered, you know? And that was a, I wrote that book when I was in high school for a school project. Been, been up on the lizard man. Of course I believe in the reptilians.
Starting point is 00:45:31 Speaking of aliens, did you watch Lantern? did. What are your thoughts? First of all, I thought it was great. I thought that the last episode was very anticlimactic. The ending was hell of cheesy. You think? It was so
Starting point is 00:45:52 goddamn cheesy. Oh, wow. Okay, keep on. Whenever somebody takes off like this, oh, you know what I'm saying? Whenever somebody takes off chest up. I thought, like they're doing, remember how Drake was dancing when he He was at his bar mitzvah as a kid.
Starting point is 00:46:09 He was doing this shit. Remember that whole video? Whenever somebody takes off flying like that, I'm like, oh, that was cheesy. And we're watching it. My wife was like, okay, please don't let him fly. Please don't let him fly. Please don't let him. Here he goes, he just takes off like that.
Starting point is 00:46:22 Other than that, I thought it was good. I don't even know if the last episode was necessary. Nah. After they killed the Manhunter, it was cool. But, I mean, we could reveal, right? You can. Say spoilers. Spoiler alert.
Starting point is 00:46:36 Spoiler. I love the fact that they had to make that choice. Between killing the little boy and not? Letting him, it's like, can you not be what you're destined to be? Like, can you, you know, this little Manhunter kid, is he capable of, you know, fighting back what his DNA and biology wants him to do? Probably not, but you kill him later. But also there's beauty in like, I'm not going to kill you for what you could do.
Starting point is 00:47:04 I'm going to wait for you to fuck up before I do. I'm going to give you a chance. I'm going to give you, and that's what we all want, right? That's a chance. I thought it was the best show on TV. Oh, no, Lance was fun watching. No, it was fantastic. I just thought, I just thought.
Starting point is 00:47:15 And the actor, Aaron Pierre? Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. First of all, fantastic. From first episode to last episode, you wanted to say he was fine. No, he's these odd things. He was like, fantastic. You were about to say fine. You wanted to stay fine, so fucking bad.
Starting point is 00:47:36 Tight shit. Yeah. From first episode to last, like, at first I wasn't, I'll be honest, I wasn't fully bought in. Really? By the end, I'm like, I want to follow this. At first episode, I'm like, Kyle Chandler, the Hal Jordan. I'm like, I've watched this guy for the last. He was fantastic.
Starting point is 00:47:57 No, he's phenomenal. But by the end, I'm like, I'm cool watching John. I want to see what John does next. I thought they just, they fucking sliced it perfectly. I like John, but I'm gonna need some of How's hologram. I think How's coming back. That's what I'm saying. I'm gonna need some of Howe's hologram.
Starting point is 00:48:13 I don't think they're gonna get Hal out of here. They didn't give me enough of John by himself for me to grow to really love the John character. I also love this idea of like fear and fear is also a weapon but not giving completely into fear. Like Sinestro is all fear and maybe Howe was no fear at all. And John is this perfect balance of like you actually need. But that's how I speak about anxiety. Yeah, yeah, because it's going to happen regardless. Yeah, so embrace it.
Starting point is 00:48:38 You got to, you have no choice. Yeah. You know what I'm saying? Like you can't run from it. You can't suppress it. Don't be afraid to be afraid. Don't be afraid. And keep in mind, this is a fucking superhero TV show that they did in a grounded,
Starting point is 00:48:53 kind of like detective way. And I'm like, this is fantastic. I mean, listen, it's great because I'm, like I said, I'm born in 1978. I'm 48 years old I'm never given a fuck about Green Lantern in my life And they made me do it, bro They made me fucking do it
Starting point is 00:49:09 They made me give a fuck about green light I didn't care about the Ryan Reynolds one I didn't give a fuck about that movie I thought it was And I think what the smart thing they did Is they barely did any of the green shit They barely did any green lantern shit This is not about the green shit
Starting point is 00:49:21 His power's kind of calling you to be honest with you Wait, go on imagination You might as well be a fucking pottery guy Like you do clay You make shapes and shit Like, he could do some fire shit with it, though. I wanted to see Hal knocking down the sheriff. Son, that's what I thought.
Starting point is 00:49:37 I was like, God know he made the green talk. Oh, come on. Yeah, that shit ended up on a WNBA. You see what? Now we know who's throwing the dildos. It was fucking John Stewart and Hal Jordan throwing that green dildos on the WMBAA for. That's the greatest marketing for Lantern season two I ever seen.
Starting point is 00:49:54 No, I know how I was probably doing some wild shit with that ring with that sheriff. That's why she was so fucking. open, yo. Son, she killed, he killed everybody in the area. He's responsible. Everybody's dying. You know how nice your dick game got to be like, forgive him. Forgive him. Like, God, damn. He probably was making other women, fucking making other women come into the room, making his dick bigger. Like, just doing that whatever she wanted with that fucking really. Is she bat woman? I keep hearing that, but we don't need that woman. This is what James Gunn is fucking up. Oh. All we want. Talking about the goat right now. All we want is to
Starting point is 00:50:30 Poor, yo. Give us the OG Justice League. That's it. Give us Batman. Give us Green Lantern. Give us Flash. Give us Flash. Give us Batman. Why is Flash? Like, I never got Flash. I never got Flash. What you mean? And like, as a white guy, seeing fast shit is supposed to be really cool. But like, it never fucking got me. Like, so all you are is fast? I used to like, now, Flat, there's two Disney characters I like to really like when I was young, Flash and Batman. Batman, yes. I get Batman. I used to like Flash, y'all. But for what reason? Because he had a superpower that I thought was
Starting point is 00:51:06 that I thought I could acquire I'm real, being honest. When you're young? I'm never going to be a rich white billion. You see what I'm saying? I might be I can be flash. I can Mike can run fast, you know what I'm saying? And he used to run fast and his metabolism was so high he used to like to eat and he could run fast enough that he could run through walls.
Starting point is 00:51:23 Like I just thought that was cool shit. Yeah, I guess. I thought Flash was cool. He can run so fast that he can manipulate time. That's, I just. That's the five. All right. So that's the other thing that, like, I think they did really well with Lantern. You got me invested in this superpower.
Starting point is 00:51:37 So maybe they can do that with Flash. They did it with Thor. I never thought I was going to care about fucking Thor. Now I'm like, I love this guy. Thor makes sense, though. But did we care about as a kid? But as a kid, do we care about it? No, no, no, no.
Starting point is 00:51:48 Thunder ain't even the most shit. Important shit. It's lightning way better than Thunder. I don't. I think the lantern having the charge his ring is corny as fuck, though. No, but it's like your phone. And I hate that. But it's relatable.
Starting point is 00:51:59 It is. but I hate it. It's just like, come on, bro. You got an iPhone, you got an Apple. You got an Apple. You got an Apple. Every superhero needs a weakness. Exactly. If it never went down. That's true. If you don't have a weakness, you don't got nothing. That's true. I enjoyed the series. I don't think D.C. misses with TV shows.
Starting point is 00:52:16 You know what I mean? They're not bringing back Peacemaker, though. We had John seen all in this week. Oh, yeah. How was John? John was great. We got John on this weekend. Daniel Brooks a couple weeks. He said they're not bringing back peacemaker for whatever reason. I mean, I'm, you know, John's, I'd be like John's out of here in terms of acting. He's doing films. He's doing, like, his schedule got to be crazy.
Starting point is 00:52:31 He should be the Mattel, man. What does that mean? Mattel should be building all of their stuff around John Cena. He was in Barbie. He was a Murman and Barbie. Now he's in this new Matchbox movie. That's Mattel. Like Matchbox, the Racing Cars?
Starting point is 00:52:46 Yeah, the Little Racing Cars. That comes out on Apple TV Friday. Okay. Then G.I. Joe's coming out. That's all Mattel. You might as well put the motherfucking. What are they doing for G. Is it in G.
Starting point is 00:52:55 Is it in G. Is G.I. Joe, Mattel? Or is that Hasbro. I think is G.I. Joe done by... I think it's Mattel. I would love them to make G.I. Joe work. That would be awesome. They're doing it.
Starting point is 00:53:05 I know, but I would love it to be like a... You got to put John... Why would you not put a guy that's already built like a fucking G.I. Joe in the way? Yeah, true. Like, John's got to be able to play somebody, right? Yeah. John's a smart dude, too.
Starting point is 00:53:15 No, he's sharp. Like, that's the illest thing about a lot of those wrestlers when you meet... Like, if you ever watch the Rock when he's doing an interview? And you're like that, why'd you put your eyebrow up like that? That's crazy. Like, just the mention of the rock made him. do the people's ivory. But when you sit down and you watch the Rock have a conversation,
Starting point is 00:53:32 he's just super intelligent. And it's the same thing with John Sina, yo. Are you sit down with John Sina? He's a very bright guy. That's the thing. Wrestling is the most underappreciated form of live entertainment. And it's the most successful, arguably, by the numbers. But the people who don't get how dynamic wrestling is,
Starting point is 00:53:54 think about this thing. every single week they're writing a scripted play. They have to have the physicality to do it. But also, they have to react to what the audience wants. If the audience starts booing somebody, they don't go, oh, God, what are we going to do? How are we going to figure it out? They go, yes.
Starting point is 00:54:09 The worst thing that can happen to wrestling is people don't care. If they love you like crazy or they hate you like crazy, that is euphoria to them. I had two conversations this week that made me think about what you just said. John Cena was talking about how he could go out there as a wrestler. and essentially do the same bit every night, right? Like the same act every night. And it made me remind me of a conversation
Starting point is 00:54:31 that Chris Rock was having. What Chris Rock was talking about being a stand-up is the hardest thing to do on stage, which I agree with. And he was like, you know, I wish I could go do bring the pain 30 years later, you know what I'm saying? The way Jay-Z does a reasonable doubt, you know?
Starting point is 00:54:46 He was like, we essentially go up there. I forgot how he broke it down. It's so true. We essentially go up there and we're doing new material. And it's got a kill, like you listen to your favorite Beatles song. You see what I'm saying? Me and you have the hardest job in the world.
Starting point is 00:55:00 Okay? Because we have to always come up with new stuff. Yeah. I wish I could go, you know, me and it's weird. Bring the Pain and Reasonable Doubt came out the same year. I wish I could go do the, bring the pain tour. Do the same show. Big up to Jay.
Starting point is 00:55:24 No one's nicer. Whenever I go see Beyonce, Jay always brings my kids back to see Beyonce. And we see her and she's like sweaty and everything. So you'll never hear me say anything bad about Jay. But when a comedian does, it's like, you know that part of every musical show you go to
Starting point is 00:55:42 where the person goes, hey, now we're going to do some new stuff. Yes. And people go to the bathroom. Yes. As you point out. That's comedians. That's comedians for an hour.
Starting point is 00:55:53 I'm going to do nothing. but new stuff and blow your motherfucking mind. That's what every comedian does. Okay? So imagine recording a new record and going straight to the stage with it. People would boo. It's hit or
Starting point is 00:56:08 miss. People will boo. But essentially and that's only three minutes. Y'all go out there and try it for an hour. No, we have to do it for an hour. You know what I'm saying? Yeah, he's 100% right. You know? And every time you do it, you're like, that was the best thing I ever did. How am I going to find a way to top that? And then you get back in there and you fucking grind.
Starting point is 00:56:24 and you push it. But I get it. Bringing the Pain was one of the most incredible specials in the history of stand-up comedy. It's truly one of the greatest pieces of American art ever made. But you can't do it anymore. Once it's out and it's on HBO,
Starting point is 00:56:37 you can never perform that material ever again. Yeah, yeah. You can never. Maybe you could, though. Because there's a whole new generation now. People that wasn't even alive 30 years ago. Oh, they might appreciate that for sure. But in terms of doing it to your audience
Starting point is 00:56:51 that already saw it, it's not the same as music where, like, you go to the, the concert and you're like, play me the songs I love. Right. But what about like somebody like Bert who goes out and he does the machine? I think it's a very unique thing. It's like this stand-up, you could probably explain it better. He is a story that he tells and he's been telling it for a while and the audience is kind
Starting point is 00:57:10 of like in on it. Like they know he's going to retell this story. And it was a story that, you know, catapulted his career forward. But like, I think that he's doing that as an addition to whatever else he's doing. I think if he just went out there and just told that story, over and over again. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, you can't do that. Yeah, and I'm just saying, like, you can tell something from a long time ago.
Starting point is 00:57:30 People, like, anticipated it. Yeah, like Dice Clay, for example, had a moment where people wanted to hear the nursery rhymes. Like, like, hickory, dickory doc. Your mother was sucking my cock. Exactly. And people got in on it. But I think also they want to be surprised. They want to see something different.
Starting point is 00:57:45 They want to be, you know, they want to experience something new. And they have every right to do that. I think Chris could go out there and update the N-Words versus black people all the time. But, you know, doing it for a particular audience. Yo, shout out to Chris, man. Chris is... How was Chris on Breakfast Club? I saw you at him on.
Starting point is 00:58:01 He was great, bro. He's a funny. It was like an hour and change. Chris is... The funny shit was people was like, yo, Chris is getting so much backlash. He had to run to the breakfast club. First of all, Chris has been on the schedule for four months.
Starting point is 00:58:13 Right? And Misty Green comes out Friday. What was he getting backlash for? A couple of things, actually. He got backlash for the Tony Rock thing, do we have that, Taylor? Or, you know, because Tony Rock, I think people took what Tony said out of context.
Starting point is 00:58:30 Tony was on Naeem Lynn's podcast, and Tony was just saying he would love to essentially go on tour with his brother. He was like, not do like spot dates, you know, like, you know, I guess sometimes Chris would have him open up in Brooklyn, open up in Houston because Tony
Starting point is 00:58:46 used to live in Houston. Yeah, he opened that show in Brooklyn. Exactly. But he was saying he wants to go on an actual rock and rock. Yeah, rock brother. And I don't know why. The internet took that as Chris doesn't do anything for Tony. Tony has been on Everybody Hates Chris. He played the uncle on Everybody H. Chris.
Starting point is 00:59:05 He's been on other things. I don't know if he's ever been in any movies with Chris. But Chris was essentially saying, oh, we have the clip? Look, let's play right here. But this is what Chris says. So do you feel like you failed your brother, Tony? When you hear Tony, you know, say the things that he says, he loves you, he supports you, He's not jealous of you, but he wishes that you and him could do things together.
Starting point is 00:59:25 I mean, maybe we'll do something together. I cannot wait for the day that he says, yo, let's go on tour. Not, hey, I'm on tour, come and do Brooklyn. I'm on tour, come and do Houston because that was my second home. Yo, we're going out for 30 cities. Yeah. I cannot wait. Have Jordan Hose.
Starting point is 00:59:44 It is a dream beyond a dream of mine. I mean, you've been in stuff. And he says, if you want to go on tour or. We just haven't done a movie or a tour, but, you know, some of that's just being around. Tony lives in L.A. I live in New York. Tony lives great, man. Tony makes hundreds of thousands of dollars a year. And Tony's on tour.
Starting point is 01:00:07 And he's on tour all the time. Hilarious. And he's got properties. And like, Tony lives better than I did on Saturday Night Live. So it's not like, I mean, I'm not, I'm, dude, you ain't never going to get me to say anything disparaging about my brother. No, you shouldn't. I don't even...
Starting point is 01:00:24 But he's doing fine. It's not like a situation where I'm like, well, I got this guy. No, he's doing great. And everybody, you know, Damon's not in scary movie. It's a shock.
Starting point is 01:00:40 It's not an issue. I don't feel. I found a way to make it funny. Are you obligated to do things with your family? Well, first, let's just pull back and be like,
Starting point is 01:00:51 Like, he, it's not like he's done nothing. That's my point. Yes. That's what I think is unfair. I think people took what Tony said out of context. Tony just simply said, I can't wait for the day. We go on tour together. But he's been in stuff that Chris has done.
Starting point is 01:01:03 Chris has put him in stuff. He's also not saying that anything that 99.9% of comedians alive right now don't feel, which is I too would love to go on tour with Chris Rock. Who wouldn't want to go on tour with the greatest comedian ever? Yeah. That's the other thing. How many tours is Chris Rock done? I don't even know if Chris goes out like that.
Starting point is 01:01:20 Like if he has a special, then he goes out. He did a couple of years ago. It was him and Kevin. Him and Kevin did like five dates. They did a certain amount of dates. Yeah, I remember that. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 01:01:30 Yeah, yeah, Kevin did a certain amount of date. But that'd be cool. And who knows? Maybe that happens. I just think people are so quick to like try to make somebody a bad guy or try to understand someone's intentions behind it. And it's like, maybe, I don't know, like maybe think from Chris's perspective where he's like, all right, my brother has his own career.
Starting point is 01:01:49 He's crushing it. He's killing all. on the road, like, is there a version where me telling him to come on tour with me, like, is little bro in him? You know, like, that might be another situation. Who knows? Maybe Tony's saying that on the pod and that gets back to Chris. Now he goes, oh, shit, my brother really does want to go out.
Starting point is 01:02:04 This is the funny part. People act like Chris and Tony don't talk all the time. 32. Like they're brothers. That's the only thing that throws me off. It's like, why wouldn't Tony just have this private combo with Chris? Why not say it out? And try it into the ether.
Starting point is 01:02:18 Street Fighter, October 16th, biggest movie in my movie. the world. I'm sure Tony didn't think that the internet was going to take what he said out of context. But it adds like now you have the public pressure of something you could have asked them privately. I don't see the problem with it, Joe. I don't see the problem with saying, hey man, I wish me and my brother would go out and do 30 dates. By the way, like you said, when does Chris go out on tour like that all this? Like, when does Chris Rock announce the huge tour like that? They spell's always torn. Yeah. I don't see Chris doing that like that. Chris, I think he just has a movie coming out, so he's probably directing a movie.
Starting point is 01:02:50 writing shit, you know. Tony was in Everybody Hates Chris. He played Uncle, I don't know who was Uncle, some of the R. Uncle Richie or Ricky, I don't remember. But he was, he was, everybody, and he was in the cartoon.
Starting point is 01:03:02 He voiced the character and everybody hates Chris cartoon. It's not like Chris don't put Tony and stuff, yo. Yeah. But the, I, he's making as much as I made on Saturday Night Live. A little. He's making more. He said, he said he's living better. Yeah, but Chris Rock was on Saturday Night Live
Starting point is 01:03:19 when he was like 18. years old. Yeah. I know what he's saying. No. We're reading into this. Yeah, but it came off a little awkward. I'll put it like that.
Starting point is 01:03:29 Yo. Chris is awkward. Well, that's true too. Like, he has hamburgers. What's the shit called? Aspergin. Whatever the fuck. I don't like saying that shit?
Starting point is 01:03:39 Don't that shit sound crazy? Yeah. Wouldn't you rather say hamburger? We got to find a better way to say that shit. Or asparagus. Or asparagus. I like asparagus. I like asparagus.
Starting point is 01:03:47 Asparagus is asparagus. Asparagus. He's got asparagus. not hamburgers. He got hamburgers. Asperger sound like what fucking, what's that dude? Jeffrey Dahmold was eating on Sunday,
Starting point is 01:03:57 well. That motherfucker will grill up an asperger in a second. You won't cheat with this fucking assburger? Fucking that shit, that shit probably tasty as shit. Literally. Loot to prize picks. Football is heating up

Starting point is 01:04:46 bet this week on George Pickens for the Dallas Cowboys. Okay, we played the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Thursday. I feel like the books are going to try to double up on CD Lamb this week. So George Pickens is probably going to get a lot more balls thrown his way. And we all know he can catch balls. Starting point is 01:07:36 Okay. Street fighter in theaters October 16th. All right? Okay. Perfect. What else we got, Taylor, gang? And shout out that Trump. Trump doesn't care about L.A. or San Diego.
Starting point is 01:07:47 What happened? I saw my head. Trump. Is your son? Stop. What? Bo for my son, y'all. Go to my bio.
Starting point is 01:07:56 Oh, sorry. This is important. Taylor died. Stop. Stop. That made it, or made underscore it. Let's say that clearer. You sound like your son.
Starting point is 01:08:06 Pete speaks better than you and he's not even one yet. That was crazy. Because you're not. All right. You sound like the guy with Tourette's at the thing. Boat for my son! Like, what the fuck? Vote for my son, y'all, for a baby of the year.
Starting point is 01:08:20 You could click the link in my bio, Taylor.made underscore it, and it'll be there. Please, y'all. This is important. This is not, no, he's not. Stop. This is, this is very important week. He has to make it first, and then he'll really move on. He's like a ringer for the Little League World Series.
Starting point is 01:08:37 He's three. And Taylor's trying to pass. How are you going to show your, Taylor got the, you can vote for your nephew too. He got P walking. Whoa. He got P walking. Whoa. First of all, three olds can walk.
Starting point is 01:08:47 Got Pete dancing. Peas talking. Okay, I saw Pete brushing his hair. No. Like, it was crazy. He brushed it. He did like this. Then he cornrolled it itself.
Starting point is 01:08:58 Wow. Unbelievable. Salute to little P. I saw him last night. I saw him last night. You posted a picture in his story. Oh, yeah. Did you like the video?
Starting point is 01:09:07 I saw a little P. I saw a little P. Shout out to Little P. But no, no, go vote for a little P. Please, y'all. I voted. I did the one free vote. So go make sure you do that.
Starting point is 01:09:18 And he take over one vote. These guys, please. I did the one three vote. You can do the one free vote to. All right. And it's two times, too. If you vote for one, it counts as two. Nice.
Starting point is 01:09:28 Oh, it does. That's right. Trump doesn't care about L.A. or San Diego. Can we hear this clip, Taylor again? I got to be honest. Wait, let it play. Let it play, play, play. Okay.
Starting point is 01:09:37 Uh-oh. Today what he said was wild, too. You saw the shit he said today. Yeah. I could have been with and got Barack and Joe Biden and Hillary Clinton if I wanted to. I got plenty of people telling me go get him. That's what he said. I didn't hear that first.
Starting point is 01:09:48 You got to put the audio. You want to see a tremendous victory because it verifies all the things we did. And again, remember, with the word, just artificial, it's a little bit high. It's a small price to pay for keeping the world safe, keeping our country safe. They can take out a city. Let them take out Los Angeles. Let them take out San Diego. That's, this is a very small price to pay.
Starting point is 01:10:14 And it's going to be over with very soon. It's essentially almost over with. And they might keep going a little. long you know they always say they have a big threshold for pain they need it let me tell you they need it treason but it's going to end very soon and it'll end one way or the other and your gas and your gasoline and all of the things is it treasonous i actually kind of disagree what do you think what do you think chris i think he was riffing and what he was saying is if they did that that would be we're keeping the prices high to take away their ability to take to do this out i don't think he was actually
Starting point is 01:10:49 saying let them take San Diego, let them take. Chris, there's no planet where a president of the United States of America should even be riffing or joking about Iran taking out any city. Oh, for sure. I mean, this is what happens. Yes. This is an example of a clip when I read it when I was like, this dude is fucking out of his, you know, I started going crazy.
Starting point is 01:11:10 The headline sounds like he's actually when I heard it. I was like, next, this isn't the one to focus on. Like there's so many things that you should put your energy towards. And this is... Like, we could pick 50 things right now. This happens not to be the one, in my opinion. I mean, listen, it's election season. So, you know, if you're still, if you're putting up a list of all of the reasons that people should go out and, you know, try to make him a lame duck president.
Starting point is 01:11:35 This is another good reason. You know? Because this is not America. That's not America first, Chris. No, no, no. I get it. But I'm, today I'm more concerned about... I didn't vote for that.
Starting point is 01:11:44 I'm speaking hyper... I say shit like that. And then people would be like, see? He's... He did it. He was undercutting the whole time. I'm saying if I was a person who supported Donald Trump, I didn't vote for that, is what I'm saying.
Starting point is 01:11:56 I voted for America first. That's not America first. I get it. I think, you know, I would focus on what might be happening around the midterms with the election and Lucknick potentially taking, you know, the voting machines and they're trying, you know, there's. Well, Chris. This isn't it.
Starting point is 01:12:15 We're two people who believe something catastrophic. could potentially happen before the midterms. Whoa, whoa, whoa. Iran shouldn't have any nuclear weapons based off what they did in Iran last year and what they've been doing in Iran recently. They should. Based on the amount of money we spent. Exactly.
Starting point is 01:12:36 We know they don't have no nuclear weapons. So if something was to happen in San Diego, our Los Angeles. Oh, what you're saying? What you're saying now. Where would it come from, Chris? What's you saying? If we're thinking about a potential false flag
Starting point is 01:12:51 have been happening. What you're saying? Because Chris was on here last week talking about that fucking airplane shit. All right, everybody was killing me. I thought it was Israeli pilots. We were reporting the day of. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:13:00 All right. I'm not a fucking Mossade agent. What are they saying now? Look at this guy trying to say it was Israeli pilots. That was some bullshit, though. Because number one, how does a pilot get a knife on the plane? Number one.
Starting point is 01:13:13 I mean, I bet they could get them one. Number two, how did people get in the cockpit? No, the guy fought off the attacker and he opened the door. With his foot. That's what they said. Get the fuck out of here. Hold on. You're saying an Indian guy can't do that?
Starting point is 01:13:28 Chris, what are you talking about? It was cool when it was an Israeli captain. And now of a sudden the guy's Indian and he's not capable of it. That's outrageous. I didn't even know he was Indian. What is he going to happen here right now? I'm trying to get the spotlight off of me and put it somewhere else. The story did sound like some bullshit.
Starting point is 01:13:46 I thought one pilot attack. the other. So there's one pilot who stabs the main pilot who's an Indian national and the story is as he's fighting him off he manages to open the cockpit with his foot. A woman is standing there Steph Curry with his foot boy.
Starting point is 01:14:01 It's awesome. Dalsam. Stretched out of that shit. Now the- Street fighting October 16th everywhere. Now the reason people are claiming it's a false flag event is because it happened, you know, obviously by first class
Starting point is 01:14:15 the front of the plane. Yeah. And there are pictures of the passengers going into the cockpit to subdue the attacker. Yeah. And if you look, you can see that people in first class, their glasses are still filled with water. The story is it dropped, I think, 13,000 feet in, you know, 45 seconds. And somebody just learned to fly a plane. And they're saying... The plane would fall the fucking part of it.
Starting point is 01:14:37 They're saying the fucking shit should be open. There should be luggage on the floor. All the drinks should be spilled. Why does the plane look immaculate if it fell 13,000 feet? You salute to all the conspiracy theorists on social media, y'all got me. Y'all don't even need the spooky music. I'm bought in, okay? Between that and BB Net and Yahoo up for re-election, okay,
Starting point is 01:14:55 and looking to do something crazy to stay in power, I'm bought in on it all, okay? The midterms is coming up in America and when's the election in Israel? It's soon. I don't know exactly. So anything can happen? Anything can fucking happen, bro. I'm bought all the way in. But as false flags go, that's pretty good, right?
Starting point is 01:15:14 it's, you know, they're not bomb in a city. I don't know. I'm just, Chris, we got to come. He's in two more weeks. Not for the Indian guy. He's cool. What did he say? What is this, say, Taylor?
Starting point is 01:15:29 Let's listen to it. Oh, this is, um. No, get the one where he said he could have been with and got Barack and all of them if he wanted to. That was crazy. You just said that to that? I guess. I mean, get the one where he said, Ohio, if you don't vote for me.
Starting point is 01:15:42 I can't help you anymore. I mean, how are you just going to fucking threaten an entire state? The whole state. He does not love America. He only loves himself. When will we realize this? It's really just that simple. Okay?
Starting point is 01:15:57 I don't care if you're at Los Angeles, San Diego, Ohio, he does not care. Okay? I think he's trashed the office to the point you can't put it back. They don't know because they were asked that question. I saw two congressmen and a senator so far. asked that question. They said, well, President Trump has created the greatest
Starting point is 01:16:18 economy. When you see the real economy, what's happening with factories being built all over the country, it was today it came out there. There's never been a time like this ever. I don't want to hear him lying about the economy. All three did know. L.A. and Red got some shoulders.
Starting point is 01:16:34 They said, we don't know. She looked like fucking John Thu about to take off the flight. Right, right? She got her back straight with you. She's on him from the floor. Why? You look like John and how about to let loose? With that being said, I could have done very bad things to Hillary Clinton.
Starting point is 01:16:52 I could have done very, very bad things to Joe Biden. I could have done very bad things to Barack Hussein Obama. I thought it was inappropriate to do so because you have to treat the office of the presidency with respect. Then I found out that they impeached me. Twice. Who is that girl right next to him? I certainly even- One of the Elon's robot.
Starting point is 01:17:18 That might be a sideboard. Let me tell you something. This is good. I'm gonna tell you why this is good. This is what, this is good. And I'm gonna tell you what Trump just needs to add, he just needs to add context to it. Okay.
Starting point is 01:17:30 All he's simply saying is, look, I know we're gonna lose the midterms. Just don't impeach me. Just don't impeach. I've been, I didn't do it, y'all. I didn't do it, you guys. I didn't do it to y'all. I didn't do it to you. But I didn't do it to you.
Starting point is 01:17:42 I could have did y'all dirty the last two years. I don't get a fuck if you lock up all these people around me. It's like, let's let me be cool. When I see someone with their kid, like, remember, I let you go. Word is born. Remember, that's all that was. That's all that was. Now, this is the one where you don't get to.
Starting point is 01:18:01 I know it sounds crazy, but that is just him reminding people. I didn't lock y'all up when I could have. Hey, I know I'm out of here. You know what I'm saying? I know I'm about to be a lame duck president. Be nice. That's it. That's all that was. That's all that was. What else we got Taylor gang? Taylor gang. Taylor gang. Oh, man. The Paramount merger happened. The Paramount Skydance merger.
Starting point is 01:18:28 You have anything about that, Taylor? Paramount completed its acquisition of Warner Brothers Discovery on Tuesday, creating a new media mega player called Skydance that will control large swaths of the entertainment industry. It also ends a month-long saga as the merger has drawn widespread opposition in Hollywood. Skydance shares will start trading on the stock exchange under the ticker symbol SKYD, the company said on Tuesday, while Warner Bros. shares will cease trading. The merger combined two media giants that already had control over significant assets across the industry, including CNN, CBS, HBO and a suite of cable networks, film studios, New Line Cinema and Miramax, among others, and streaming services, including Paramount Plus and
Starting point is 01:19:12 HBO Max. It will also control a number of major franchises and brands, including Harry Potter, Game of Thrones and more. The deal's closure Tuesday comes after a month's long legal battle, a states fought the merger, alleging it violated federal antitrust laws, but attorneys general ultimately settled with Paramount last month, rather than taking the case to trial, paving the way for the merger to go through. But the merger has still faced widespread opposition in Hollywood, as opponents have argued it will lead to fewer jobs, less ambitious content, and higher prices. They've also criticised state's settlement with Paramount as being overly deferential to the media giant. CEO David Ellison has rebuffed
Starting point is 01:19:54 critics' concerns, though, arguing Tuesday that the new company will be a stronger competitor in the media industry, with the talent, resources and reach to tell great stories in every genre on every platform for audiences everywhere. But it still remains to be seen how Skydance's new operations will play out in practice. In terms of the new firm's leadership, Mattel's CEO is Skydance's new co-CEO CEO alongside Ellison. Now, while Ellison has long held the company's ambitious plans to become a media powerhouse, the company is also going into its new era saddled with nearly $80 billion in debt.
Starting point is 01:20:30 Under the terms of its financing deal, Skydance has to significantly erode that debt by 2029, or else Ellison's billionaire father, Larry Ellison, will be on the hook to cover it using his own money. Let's look at all of the networks that are all consolidated under one thing. It's a lot. It's going to everyone,
Starting point is 01:20:49 I saw someone say it's about to be cable all over again. Man. It's about to be cable? Like, everyone's merging and it's going to be cable again. Street Fighter, October 16. Isn't it Street Fighter Parameter?
Starting point is 01:21:01 Street Fighter. Street Fighter, not Parameter? Street Fighter. Street Fighter. Street Fighter. October 16. Street fighter. Let's see.
Starting point is 01:21:12 Halu. Okay. So they got CBS Entertainment. So that's all the CBS TV networks, CBS News Station, CBS Sports, primob media networks. They got all the major cable channels, MTV Entertainment, Nickelodeon, Comedy Central, BETT, they got all international networks. And I think, what, HBO and all that?
Starting point is 01:21:31 What's all the channels under there, you know? But it's more about the IP, right? No, they got all the actual properties. Sure, but like they get the IP from Warner Brothers. It's incredibly valuable. They have the biggest library in the world. Exactly. So you could take all those characters, do all those shows again.
Starting point is 01:21:48 You can do all those movies again. I mean, yeah, that's the thing. Tell me the cons of this, Chris. Well, I think the first, well, there's the con is first a lot of people are about to get laid off. Like thousands and thousands of executives in the industry are going to get laid off. If you ever want to buy a house in a nice section of L.A., this is about. It's going to be your year because a lot of people are going to be out of there. They won't be able to support their lifestyle.
Starting point is 01:22:15 But you also want to keep the best of the best. If I'm Paramount Warner Bros., if I'm Skydance, I'm cutting a lot of dead weight and I'm keeping the top executives. I'm keeping the guys who have-de-wraud are people with long careers who aren't going to be able to get other jobs. Doesn't matter. Some of these guys have been dead weight and they've been collecting a lot of checks for a long time. Some. And then also a lot of people who are really going to struggle. So there's a human element to it.
Starting point is 01:22:37 These guys have been making millions of dollars for a long time. You're not talking about the top execs. Are you, Chris? Who are you talking about? It's going to be top execs. It's going to be mid-level. It's going to be entry. It's going to be people working on sets.
Starting point is 01:22:49 I mean... Yeah, those are the people. Okay, I get it. But don't they lead those people, though, to... No, because they already have them in place. They're just repetitive positions. The other big issue in my perspective is you've just eliminated competition. There's no more buyers.
Starting point is 01:23:06 There's one buyer. Right? It's Netflix and now it's Goddance, essentially. I mean, you know, there are other smaller... Universal is still making movies. But you've taken a major, major buyer off the table. Yeah. These guys are going to have a ton of leverage. Even if you're lucky enough to get a project going with them,
Starting point is 01:23:24 they know they have all the leverage in negotiation. Chris? Yeah. You're not wrong, but I want to just take a step back. Sure. There's a lot of pros for the creator. We live in a creator economy. mean that. Right? When you got a company like this Paramount that needs to make 30 movies a year
Starting point is 01:23:42 and they need all this content, same with Netflix. That's why you see the Netflix's of the world and Disney's even getting into the podcast and business because they just need content. What you're talking about, what you're saying doesn't exist anymore. It exists in the smaller creator economy. There's a million Curry Barkers right now on YouTube. The guy who did Backroom, there's a million of those type of people on YouTube. As long as those individuals are able to go out there, raise capital, and shoot their own product, the Paramounts, the Netflix's, the Skydances, the Warner Bros., whoever the fuck these companies are, they're always going to need content. I think this is going to be great for the creator.
Starting point is 01:24:21 Talk to me. In 2026 and beyond. If you are a creator, if you're a Tyler Perry type, and I'm just saying anybody that knows how to go out there and create, if you're Drewski who knows how to go up there and create his own content, if you're these comedians who've been. shooting their own specials right now right i'm not going to name the comedian's names but there's comedians out there who i know for a fact have shot their own specials and went and sold them licensed them to netflix you did that like like sure but i'm just saying wouldn't you as a creator
Starting point is 01:24:53 rather be able to sell to both wb and paramount as separate entities well i also have the option of not selling to anybody and that might ultimately be people's decision right like people might look up and be like, do I really need these guys? I've already found an audience that they're looking for. I have a lot of leverage in this scenario. It might be that the gatekeepers aren't as important going forward. I would just prefer there be more gatekeepers. Just not like that.
Starting point is 01:25:20 There are. It's just that we're in control of our own gates now. And we get to choose where we want to go. Interesting. Like they need creators. Paramount, Skyden, whatever you want to call it, Netflix. They all need creators. Your argument is that because there's so many other.
Starting point is 01:25:35 outlets. They might not be paying you directly, but you have the ability to get in front of fans and friends on TikTok on YouTube. He didn't even, Chris didn't even name YouTube. But you're saying, you're saying, well, I said buyers. Currently, YouTube's not buying. They might. That could change very quickly. They're in the game. All right. Well, then that's good. YouTube is in the game. Yeah. So like, that's it, that's an interesting perspective that like, they're not competing against the other streamers. Yep. They're competing against independent creators, period, their content. tent out themselves. I saw Paramount that they announced
Starting point is 01:26:08 that they're getting into the vertical game. Of course, yeah. But they have to, because that's the game. That's what people are. Like micro dramas? Micro dramas, they have to. What about the consumer? Because now there's going to be less streamers
Starting point is 01:26:23 so they can just charge whatever. They own so much of the IP. Well, you're going to slash a bunch of your platforms now, right? Now I don't have to have 10 different streaming sites. I don't have to have Paramount Stars, Peacock, HBO. Oh, you think they'll consolidate that? I would hope so. That's why they're going to lay everybody off.
Starting point is 01:26:41 But they can consolidate it and then charge more. Like cable. Bring back. Will they, will they, just question, will they charge more than it costs to have Paramount Star and HBO? Or will it be... We don't know. I pay for Paramount and I pay for HBO right now. Me too.
Starting point is 01:26:57 And Disney and Hulu and all that shit. Like, I got all... I haven't heard that take before. I think this is going to be... I think this is going to be... I think this is going to be so good for the creators. I promise you right now they're scouring the internet. The only difference now, if I was these guys and these companies, I wouldn't be waiting for the person that got a million followers or a million subscribers.
Starting point is 01:27:19 Get them early. Get them early. Let them develop on your platform. Take this shit back to the old school. Like how people used to go to the clubs to find that next hot artists, whether it was the comedy clubs or trying to find that next hot musician. Scour YouTube and see who's really doing some dope, different shit. Who can be the next person we can bring in and, you know, give a few million dollars
Starting point is 01:27:40 to create some dope shit. That's really interesting. That's cool. I'm just saying don't skate past the human cost of this. And look, I'm sensitive to it. I'm a middle age guy. I'm aware of, you know, I'm hyper sensitive to the plight of middle age people who suddenly are caught in the middle. Too young to retire. You know, a lot of people are going to really get hurt with it. Too young to retire, too old to start over. Too young to retire, too old to start over, but guess what? They were too rigid to pivot. I guarantee you, and I'm not saying this about everybody, but I guarantee you there's a lot of executives that are going to get let go
Starting point is 01:28:15 who for the last 10, 15 years was fighting what was coming. Dude, you know what? And listen, this is... People were fighting what was coming. They might not have understood how to adapt to it. So, Chris, here's something I noticed, and this is not related to this, but I have noticed as the creator space increases, it requires... real administrative talent to manage.
Starting point is 01:28:37 That's a fact. And what I've seen happen is that there are people that came from like traditional entertainment places, VPs, executives, now working on podcasts that are really big and applying all that knowledge, their relationships, to brands, et cetera, to these podcasts that are now garnering as many views, if not more than what, you know, exists on those platforms. So what I hope is if there are people laid off, there are all these creators that are looking for people can really organize and perfectly grow a scale their business. Most of these production crews are people who couldn't find work in Hollywood or got laid off from a show. So now
Starting point is 01:29:18 Kav on stage is using them to shoot a film. You know what I'm saying? If you look at the level that Drusky is shooting his projects, come on. You're not doing that with a few kids. Come on, guys. No, no. I guess that. That is professional level sets, makeup. I mean, everything in that execution is the same as a TV show. Okay, but I'm not talking from like a creative standpoint. I don't know how that affects this.
Starting point is 01:29:42 I'm saying in terms of people's lives, in terms of the, you know, we could extend this conversation to AI too, right? I agree with your. Here's the thing. The system in America isn't set up for freelance, independent creator lifestyle when you have a family. the 9 to 5 jobs, even if they were in, even if they were inflexible, even if they didn't see the wave coming, even if they didn't adapt, you need fucking health insurance. No, no, no, no, Chris, there's no question about that. And now everybody's going to be out there and this new reality is the Wild West. And people are going to get fucking destroyed because it doesn't provide for that.
Starting point is 01:30:18 Yes, you're right. But when have you not had to adapt in any business, especially entertained? You've always had to adapt, but I think there was. in these, like, you know, legacy institutions that provide all these things like health care and dental and, you know, they're supportive with, you know, I'm sure IVF and all these things. You can create a family.
Starting point is 01:30:40 You have kids in school that you pay for. Like, this is a real concern. Don't get me wrong. You were complaining about this before the consolidation. No, no. What I'm just trying to... But I think this is going to magnify. But I'm, what I'm trying to present is, like,
Starting point is 01:30:52 I hope... Yeah. I hope that the creator space there is continues to have so much work and continues to scale at a point where they're going and poaching talent from these different places. I would love if Drusky's, you know, a top creative guy,
Starting point is 01:31:14 he basically snatched from HBO or snatched from whatever. Like that to me is, it's, it, where it's different than like, for example, when they started making cars outside of America and it just hollowed out Detroit, you know, it's like, well, these jobs are gone. What I hope is there's a transition of the jobs existing in legacy institutions, and they don't just go away. A lot of those talents that people get to work on the independent creator side as well.
Starting point is 01:31:38 That's what I think is going to happen. That's what I think is going to happen, Chris. That's what I really think is going to happen. And it's not like, I don't know how the layoffs are going to be massive, but they're still need a lot of those people. They're producing a lot of content. Well, they're just going to hire everybody. 30 movies a year is a fucking lie. I'm going to hire everybody as consultants and freelance contractors, which is fine. And then that allows you to do other work.
Starting point is 01:32:02 Look, I'm admittedly hyper fixated on the health insurance part because I'm on COBRA now and I see how unaffordable it is. And I'm about to become a fucking single issue voter. It's like this country doesn't, if you don't have a nine to five, you're fucked. Now, if you're 25, if you're 30, if it's just you, you can figure it out. It's different when you have a family. But they're going to gut the middle class. You got a family.
Starting point is 01:32:28 That's interesting you say that, though, Chris, because a lot of people will say this is the, this is the air of the entrepreneur. It is. But like, what he's, he's, he's actually talking about the opposite of an entrepreneur. But I'm not saying, if you don't have a nine to five, you're sucked, but a lot of people will say this is the era of the entrepreneur.
Starting point is 01:32:43 But the, yeah. And the most exceptional people are going to figure it out and excel and grow, but like, not everybody's fucking exceptional. And you have to protect those people. And that shouldn't be a death sentence. No, it shouldn't. And that's how we have it set out. Either you're going to fucking fly or you're going to crash.
Starting point is 01:32:59 And society can't work that way. There's got to be a middle where people are like, maybe I'm not the most talented, but I'm willing to show up every day. Can't be an NFL combine every single time. That's it. You have to, in order to have a functional society,
Starting point is 01:33:11 you have to take care of everybody. Right. Or as many people as you possibly can. And right now they have it set up. Like, you're almost better off not making any money when it comes to health care. Oh, because then.
Starting point is 01:33:21 Well, bring that down. Bring that down, Chris. Because then you can get Medicaid, right? But, I mean, you know, look, I'll put my business out there. For COBRA right now, for my wife, myself, and one kid, guess how much I'm paying yearly in premiums? How much? Before a single doctor's visit, just out the pocket. How much?
Starting point is 01:33:40 $46,000. What? $46,000. A year? A year. That's before one doctor's visit. That's no emergency rooms. That's not my kidney stone surgery.
Starting point is 01:33:50 46 grand, COBRA. It's not sustainable. Chris, I agree with you. All of that would be going on without this... No, I said, I'm extending... I'm extending... I'm extending this conversation to AI. This taps into the same thing.
Starting point is 01:34:07 Got you. Outsourcing a jobs, everything. But like, and I am a little more sympathetic to like a middle class or frankly, a lot of the people were talking about, like upper middle class people who have been successful, who, you know, have lived a nice lifestyle.
Starting point is 01:34:19 But I'm like, this is going to be really fucking rough. And, you know, someone in a different situation, and look at that and be like, I wish I had that problem. No, you're not wrong. I was just, I'm literally just looking at it from what it's going to do to the, for the creator out there. I just think it's going to be a really good time. Sure. Sure. And the creatives might not, I mean, look, uh, the guy from Midas Media, Chris Midas, right? Like, I saw him at an event. This was last year. And he was on stage so I can repeat it.
Starting point is 01:34:49 And like, people were asking him, like, what would you do if CNN came calling to you? He's like, CNN. What do I need CNN for? See what I'm saying? I've got the audience that they're desperate to find. I'm already plugged in. Like, why would I cut them into what I'm already doing? And I think as more people build up their own audiences, that becomes a more real conversation.
Starting point is 01:35:11 I mean, it's mad people who got their own audiences, though, right now. They just announced Channing Dungey, Salutey Channing Dungey, veteran TV executive. She is set to oversee MTV BT, Nickelodeon, Comedy Central, and other Paramount cable brands alongside her existing Warner Brothers Discovery portfolio. So she already has TNT, TBS, HGTV, Food Network, Discovery, TLC. She's like Marco Ruby. Own and more.
Starting point is 01:35:43 Word is bald. Now she's over at all. She's black woman, by the way. Good for her. Congrats. You're Channing Dungey, man. All right, let's do some asking idiots. Let's do some asking idiots.
Starting point is 01:35:58 Hustler underscore provider says, what's the goal you haven't achieved that you feel you need to? I don't feel like I need to achieve any goal. God has been very good to me. All praise is due to God. I am extremely grateful. I don't have a goal that I need to achieve.
Starting point is 01:36:16 I got things that I plan to do that I will do. You know what I mean? Like I start, yeah, I want to, we're doing it. I want to do movies? Yeah. Want to do movies? Like, we're going to do movies.
Starting point is 01:36:29 That's what we're doing. And we're not waiting on nobody. We're not sitting around. We're doing it. We do the movies and we're going to license the content. That's literally it. I mean, I got goals with, like, my nonprofit, you know, getting five to ten million black and brown people free therapy, you know.
Starting point is 01:36:47 Love that. Yeah, I don't have anything I need to do. I'm good. God is good, man. I'm very grateful with my life. There's nothing I need to do. That's beautiful. Need to do?
Starting point is 01:37:01 I want to be a great dad, man. You don't need to do that. You're doing that. Yeah, but I do need to do it. Tell me what qualifies you being a great dad. What would being a great dad be the Andrews show? Yeah. Being really involved in my kids' lives, not missing games, being very supportive of them.
Starting point is 01:37:23 them feeling like they could rely on me for confidence when they're feeling low or confide in me when they're insecure about something. You're right, but that feels like you're like saying I need to breathe. Look at that big briever you got on your face. It's so easy for you to breathe. It's so easy for you to be a good dad
Starting point is 01:37:41 because you want to be. You're not ducking that smoke? No, I do. I do want to be. Their fathers that duck that smoke, bro. I know, that's what I'm saying. So it's like it's something intentional. It's like something I would feel very proud of
Starting point is 01:37:52 and I have felt proud of so far. So I'll tell you. I was like, well, how would you know that you did that goal, though? Because they'll never tell you. Yeah, like, that is the, if they need. They will tell you. Oh, they shouldn't tell you because it should be
Starting point is 01:38:07 to extend the metaphor as natural as there to them, right? You'll hear it when they get older. I remember, I feel. I've never, I've never told my parents. I did. I tell my dad every single time. Because you did well. Like, think about all of these things.
Starting point is 01:38:22 stories we're hearing about people trying to heal their inner child because of some shit that their parents. Yeah. Have you seen that article? They said more people are cutting off their parents now than any other point in American history. I don't know how you quantify that. People living long, man.
Starting point is 01:38:36 You don't need them. People live in law. You don't need them. You did me dirty, yo. I'm holding now. I ain't thought. I wouldn't do it when I'm just saying. I could have thought about that when you got to sweat.
Starting point is 01:38:48 You see what I'm saying? I don't judge people for that, yo, because I don't know. know what trauma parents did to those individuals. And a bad parent could be very toxic. Yes, man. Horrible. Yes. Horrible.
Starting point is 01:39:01 I got a home girl right now. You know, I'm like, I'm just saying, I know, I hear some stories and I'm be like, yeah. What? Yeah. Being here, like, you're still talking to them. You know what I'm saying? Fuck up.
Starting point is 01:39:11 That's your mom and your dad. When I get on my knees and I pray to God to take negativity out of my life, he's not swinging at spirits. Okay, he's swinging at people. People, man. And things. And sometimes there people. might be folks you love.
Starting point is 01:39:24 They did you dirty. They did you dirty. What you're supposed to do? They got to sleep with that. I'm hearing horror stories. They got to sleep with that. And some of them slept with you when you was a baby.
Starting point is 01:39:33 You want them to still fucking be with you. You still want to fucking, I got to wrestle. I got to res. Thial, thou shan honor thy father and thy mother. Okay. Well, what if father?
Starting point is 01:39:46 Then what? I've heard those stories, bro. I know that sounds crazy. I've heard those stories. All right, but what about less extreme version? Like, just gracious. Passive aggressive toxicity or something. I get it.
Starting point is 01:39:58 But no, I've heard, you don't know, but this is, you think I'm playing. There's a lot of stories. I've heard those stories, fathers, molesting daughters, and the daughter still. Dealing with him. Dealing with the father hates him, but feels like she still got to deal. And you don't have to deal with this guy. Yeah, no, you got to cut up. You do not have to deal with this man.
Starting point is 01:40:18 For your own health. You got to cut that off. What the fuck? Yeah. And there's a lot of stories of the mom letting their. boyfriends or whatever. Yeah, yeah, yeah. It's just horrible shit.
Starting point is 01:40:27 You're allowed to cut that up. I love you, mom. But I know someone that's still like trying to almost help their mom almost. Well, I mean, there's a, you know, you're dealing with, you know, billions of years of evolution. Yeah. It's hardwired into us, man.
Starting point is 01:40:40 We want a relationship with our parents. I'm sure it's the greatest mind fuck ever. But it's okay to let them go. That's the important thing. It's okay. It's okay to let them know you're done. Okay, it's okay to cut them to fuck off if they are called. any negativity in your life.
Starting point is 01:40:56 Halloween costumes ready. Josie Dot Wells. Yeah, I'm waiting for my shit to come right now, man. Yeah, you can't reveal it. I can't reveal it. I know what I'm being. You want to say it or no? You want to say it or no?
Starting point is 01:41:08 The gray alien. We saw all these talks about gray aliens. I've been studying reptilians and gray aliens, my algorithm is full of that shit. You know what I'm like? You know what I'm like, you know what going to be a gray alien this. Because I've been visited by them so many times.
Starting point is 01:41:19 So you know what they look like. I know what they fucking look like. And by the way, there's this... So how would this... Did you make the costume yourself? No, he's just going to dress up as his dad. Y'all think that this shit, y'all think that this shit, that would be funny.
Starting point is 01:41:34 Y'all think any of this shit is new. Yeah. It's not new. They're selling us what they already know. Yeah. These movies, these Halloween costumes, they know. So you think the aliens that they use in the movies, that's really...
Starting point is 01:41:50 The great aliens, see, here's the thing. Hey, I got y'all fucked up. They're showing us all of this shit, years and years of footage. And we're just chocking it up to AI because AI exists. Ain't no fucking way, babe. Go watch the video of the gray alien being interrogated. And when they're proving the gray alien, that shit looks crazy. And so I'm getting the gray alien shit.
Starting point is 01:42:16 And you're not going to put shit in my butt and ask me questions. It's one of the other. Come on. You either are you going to probe me and learn everything you want from that or are you going to ask me questions here or you're going to get to do. If you were an alien, I'd go for the anus first. Yeah, but I'm saying don't after you do that ask me questions. Because the a is looking interesting. What do you mean you'll go for the antinous?
Starting point is 01:42:42 You would go for the no. Ah, the anus, bro. That's disrespectful to both. No. The anus. Get another question up immediately. I'll tell you why I would go for the antics. If I was an alien from another planet, the reason I would go for the.
Starting point is 01:42:54 the anus is because they protect that shit. Also, no teeth. The nose is exposed. No teeth. Mouth, we use it all at the time. All of us cover up our butts when we leave. From the time we're born, aliens have been, if you're examining humans, you're like, there's something about that fucking
Starting point is 01:43:10 thing in the back that opens up and stuff comes out and it's got like a little slit. They call it a private part. Just look into that. Why are they protecting that? And all of them have one. That's the one thing they all got. The front is even different.
Starting point is 01:43:25 All those humans, the front model is different. But the bass is something in there. Let's check every fucking anus on this planet until we find what we're looking for. Yeah, man. What is the most recent lie you've told for no reason at all? That. That. Miles, who's time to be lying?
Starting point is 01:43:46 All my lies are blatant, intentional lies just for the plot for no reason at all. like and I hate when people don't let my lives rock oh this is a good one let's end on this Alejo. Rio says top three No, that's a better one. There's a better one. Podcast. And I like that.
Starting point is 01:44:06 I like you people props. Who? I feel like y'all could. Ah, no, the personality. Top three duo podcast personalities. All right. Me and you. Excluding us.
Starting point is 01:44:18 Excluding us. Excluding us. All right. It's unfair. Are we their original? No, the read, right? The Reed. The Reed was first.
Starting point is 01:44:26 Duo pods. I got some. I got some. Yo, you know who's been? Is this all time or now? You give an honorable mention to Jesus Amiro. Oh, yeah. I got Jesus Amaro duo, Neil Brennan and Motion Casher with the chance back in the day.
Starting point is 01:44:40 That was early. That was early. You know what's the real of course. Mandy and Weezy. Mandy Weezy. Why you're doing only old school? Drea and Lex. Oh.
Starting point is 01:44:49 That's not old. That's not. out. Damn, you're calling them all. They were in the beginning. I'm saying that they're in the beginning. Mandy and wees are still smoking shit right now. I'm not saying they're night.
Starting point is 01:45:00 Decisions is, but you're real. But Drey and Lex, but we're talking about all timers, all timers, Fury and Crystal, Neil Brennan and Motion Casher, Jesus and Mero.
Starting point is 01:45:12 Jesus and Mero had him, man. Who are we? How long has a bad friend's been around? That's more of you say. Santino and Bobby. I feel like they have. I've had a good run. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:45:23 Oh, that's the Asian? Yeah, one of them is Asian. My brother. Yeah, yeah, yeah. No, that's the Asian who tells the story when he was telling the story about how he got molested by the kid with Down syndrome. Oh, top, that's top five. Yeah. Top five.
Starting point is 01:45:35 Yeah. Top five all time, bro. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I don't know. That's good. I have to think about that.
Starting point is 01:45:45 I mean, the ones I named are the ones that I really, really have enjoyed. It's rare to have a duo like us, huh? There's really not that many. No, it's not that many. No, it's not that many. Especially if it's mostly guests. What's the one, what's the between two bears? Oh, Bert and Tom.
Starting point is 01:46:02 Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, Bert and Tom. But it's not often that you have two people and it's no guest. No, we don't be having no guests. We just rock. That's a good one. I would have to really sit down and write that list. But the ones I named, those are the ones I really, really are. Off the top of my head, Jesus and Merrill,
Starting point is 01:46:20 Mandy and Weasie, Fury and Crystal, Neil Brennan and Motion Casher, those are the ones, and Drea and Lex, Drey and Lex top tier. Like, they've been doing it for seven years at this point, so they've been around for a long time. Those five, phenomenal. And you know, I want to shout off when we get out of here, salute to my guy, Loon, man. Salute to Loon.
Starting point is 01:46:39 Oh, yeah. It's up there podcast. Loon is out here smoking shit and not getting enough credit if you ask me. I'm talking about numbers-wise, His videos do well. He's sitting down having great conversations with these dudes in the hip hop space.
Starting point is 01:46:54 There's actually nobody I like seeing talk to the street rappers better than loo. Isn't Norie show two people? Oh, shit. How did we know? Yo, EFN. You're right.
Starting point is 01:47:09 Come on, top tier. Top tier. Now, again, it's different because it's guests. Oh shit, Matt Barnes, Stephen Jackson, all the smoke. So it's like, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. But again, if it's guest, I don't count that as a duo because it's three people, really. You're saying. You're saying. You're right. So if we're just talking about two people, Mandy Weezy, Chrysles Fury.
Starting point is 01:47:30 Mandy Weezy, Crystal Fury. Damn, I can't even count Champson, Neil Brennan, Emotio Cashew. Because they have every episode. Oh, okay. Now just now we're talking. Mandy and Weezy, Kid Fury and Chris, Dre and Lex, Deezeris and Mero. Deis and Mero. That's perfect. Brilliant idiots. I didn't want to put us in there, but I mean, yeah. We got to. We got to. Yeah. You're right. You absolutely right. Um, as always, if you listen to this podcast, you think we're smart. You think we're intelligent. You think we're brilliant. You're absolutely right. But if you think we're just a couple idiots, you don't know shit. You're right, too. It's the brilliant idiotous podcast. Thank you for listening. Peace.
