Starting point is 00:00:00 Yep, Charlamina God. Andrew's show. You're all the Brilliant Idiot podcast. Back for another week of Brilliant Idiotness. And this week's episode is bought to you by Squarespace. Make it big Taylor. My eyes is not just what they used. Let's start this show.
Starting point is 00:00:12 Hezzy! What's up, man? You're looking really patriotic. I'm feeling patriotic today, man. You look real patriotic. I'm feeling like America's about to enter its next golden age, and I'm feeling very excited about it, and everybody should be. I don't see why people wouldn't be.
Starting point is 00:00:28 I knew deep down. Everything went to. a plan, huh? Everyone went to our plan, Charlotte. It was not a plan. Remember when we decided on brilliant names, we're like, yo, you'll fake support Kamala and then cause all this, like, distraction and, you know, what is it? You stir up the water to
Starting point is 00:00:44 catch fish. You'll do all that. And then Trump will land a plan, and then boom, we did it. That's not what happened. I supported Kamala Harris. But it doesn't matter at the end of the day, because the president of the United States of America, the 47 president, is Donald J. Trump. And I said this on Breakfast Club this morning,
Starting point is 00:01:03 like, you got it accepted. Are you an American? Now, walking out. I was just leaving a... Are you an American? Are you not an American? Damn, right, am I an American? Why would I wish for America to fail?
Starting point is 00:01:17 Why would I want America to fail? I'm just asking a simple question. Thank you. Thank you. That's not a simple question. Like, I don't want America to fail. I have a life here. I have businesses here.
Starting point is 00:01:28 I have a family here. That's why would I want America to fail? That's why we were wondering why you were supporting Kamala. That's why we didn't understand it. We're like, why is this guy throwing so much support her way? When I know that he's a patriot, when I know he's a great man, I know that he wants America to win. Everybody votes for their interests. I have interest in Kamala, but I'm not going to root again.
Starting point is 00:01:50 Why would I root against the president? That's what I'm talking. Thank you. Thank you. I hope Trump doesn't do anything he said he's going to do. Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. Well, I hope he, there's only three things I hope Trump does. Talk to me.
Starting point is 00:02:05 Why do you seem to keep up in people? Because it sounds like, you know, it sounds like your squad. He says he wants to lower taxes. Do your thing, bro. Thank you. Okay. Bagga. He said he wants to fix the economy, even though inflation is already down.
Starting point is 00:02:20 Right. Hey, do your thing. Bagga. Okay. If he wants to make things more secure, build the wall, border. Order it up. Do your thing. Do your thing, Wodey.
Starting point is 00:02:30 But you're going to need the Democrats to help you do that, though. Of course you do this. It's going to take bipartisan legislation. It's going to take bipartisan legislation. Oh, they got the Senate in the House. But they don't have the house yet. But it's looking like they're going to have it.
Starting point is 00:02:44 So they really don't need the Democrats to do shit. Amen. So they're about to fix America and the Dems about to get no credit for it. Well, here the thing. Damn. To your point, right? Damn. That sucks, y'all.
Starting point is 00:02:56 To your point, right? To your point, right? Yeah, yeah. Now is the time for everybody who voted for Trump, and I would say the same thing of Kamala win. Everybody who voted for Trump, you have to push him to do everything he promised he was going to do. You can't let democracy no end once the person you vote for
Starting point is 00:03:13 and get inside the White House. Facts. You all have to constantly push him to do the things that you want them to do. Stop the foreign wars. Deport the criminals. I would like a pathway to citizenship for the people. people who are here illegally, but have been working jobs and have families, and I think that we should know, they're going to have to come back. He's going to kick them out in January, and they're going
Starting point is 00:03:39 have to come back another way. I don't, I don't love that. That's going to happen. I want you to start with the criminals. Let's see how that goes. Because it's almost, and I, John Stewart made this point. I thought it was a valid point. John Stewart was like, you really think he's going to go through a whole list of people and say, this person is a criminal, this person, this person, this person. He's like, no, you're undocumented. You've got to go. And then those people got to come back around and figure it out later. Clearly, an attempt to deport between 30 and 500 million people is going to be complicated. So it's going to be important to know how carefully the former president would execute this plan.
Starting point is 00:04:16 A lot of the millions of people have had children here who are American citizens. So yes, to mass deportation, even of women and children. So we're going to look at it very closely. The way you phrase it is exactly right. put one wrong person onto a bus or onto an airplane, then your radical left lunatics will try and make it sound like the worst thing that's ever happened. Because it's the worst thing that ever happened to them.
Starting point is 00:04:47 The American citizens, you mistakenly deport. Yet Trump is like, and then makes me the bad guy. And why is my wife interviewing me? You are my wife, right? I don't know. This sounds awful, but as everyone knows, you can never listen to what Trump's saying and hear it. I think you're taking everything a little bit too literally.
Starting point is 00:05:18 Look, Trump speaks in hyperbole. This is nothing new. He's telling you what was in his heart. You always want to go by what's come out of his mouth rather than look at what's in his heart. You're right. Why hold former presidents to what they say they're going to do from their mouth holes? It's going to be a lot of kicking and screaming come January, but, yeah, okay? If this is the truth, it doesn't matter.
Starting point is 00:05:45 They said bad deportations on day one. Wow. Day one. Yeah, that's a tricky one for me. I think that we've got to find a place in our hearts. Now, if you're a fucking criminal, you're breaking the law, get the fuck out. But if there's somebody's been working here legally, and we've all had people, I'm sure, work for us that were illegal, they're upstanding Americans.
Starting point is 00:06:01 I see them as Americans, and they should be given an opportunity. He said he wanted a death penalty for, uh, what is what is he? the immigrants who commit murder, I think it was, illegal immigrants that commit murder? Which one was it? I'm okay with that. Yeah, he said he wanted a death penalty for him. But then he said if they deport you,
Starting point is 00:06:17 if you come back again, it's 20 years and then if you try a third time, then it's death penalty. Run it up. Hey, man. Run it up. We gotta have, what are you going to do? Just have an open door?
Starting point is 00:06:29 Like, there's orders for a reason. I mean, what'd you say, Alex? So they're going to take... No, crazy. Well, what? Chris still real. Chris, when he saw my outfit, he said, Don't do it.
Starting point is 00:06:44 But it's America. I am you not proud of this, the greatest country of the world. We're about to enter our next golden age. How are you not excited? Listen, I don't know. I'm actually like you were excited by Kamala Harris. Fuck out of here.
Starting point is 00:06:54 I don't know what's going to happen. Who's excited? Look at the polls. Look at the numbers. Nobody. Not nan, nobody. Y'all were too relaxed. What y'all didn't do is be less relaxed and hit the polls.
Starting point is 00:07:07 Listen, I mean, listen, here's the thing. A lot of people lie. That's just the reality of the situation. But numbers don't. That's right. A lot of people lie. There's a lot of people that said they was going to vote for Kamala Harris. There's a lot of people that got pulled, that got pulled,
Starting point is 00:07:21 and they said they was going to vote for Kamala Harris. It did not reflect that. Nothing. That map looked like it had his period. Puerto Rico. First day period. First day. Heavy flow.
Starting point is 00:07:31 It just did. Like, it was the truth to the matter. Like, I don't think she won't think she won't think she went a swing state. Nope. He did. Philadelphia. No. Philadelphia's a state.
Starting point is 00:07:40 Pennsylvania's a state. That's why she lost. That's because they don't know. It's a damn shame. Did you vote? Did you vote? She lost Pennsylvania, Taylor. She lost Pennsylvania.
Starting point is 00:07:52 I don't think she won one, at least right now, as of now. We're recording this on, what's the day, Wednesday. Yep. The day after the election. She hasn't won a swing state as of now. No, she hasn't won. No, she hasn't won one battleground state. Not one.
Starting point is 00:08:03 Listen, a lot of people lied. A lot of people said the day was going to vote for Kamala, and they went in the booth and did something totally different. Or they just didn't show up at all. And I think that was the biggest issue with Kamala is that the numbers were just way down. Now, part of that is from the Democrats, obviously rigging the election the last time.
Starting point is 00:08:19 We know that for 100% fact now. No, they did. They didn't win it, actually. Not on. I'm teasing. I'm teasing. I'm team. Somebody called the radio station this morning, and they was like, stop to steal.
Starting point is 00:08:28 I'm like, cut it out. No, no, no, no. It's like, it was a free, fair election. They won fair and square. They won the popular vote. They won the electoral college. It is what it is. They won the Senate.
Starting point is 00:08:43 The democracy. You can't respect democracy only when you're side wins. A lot of people are trying to chalk this up to, like, Trump populism, but we're talking about it on flagrant. It's just like, this is a rejection of leftist policy. It's a rejection of leftist ideology. And it's a rejection of Democrats not speaking to the issues that the majority of Americans have. They went on the campaign trail, and they just gaslit Americans, and they said, oh, the
Starting point is 00:09:12 border's not really a problem, and I'm not actually going to do anything different than Biden. The different, big issue. Huge. Big issue. It's like, I caught a lot of shit last year when, you know, when the immigrants, illegal immigrants started coming in, and then the Republicans were taking the illegal immigrants, putting them on buses, putting them on planes, sending them the sanctuary cities, and then Democrats were like, Stop, stop, stop, stop, enough.
Starting point is 00:09:38 I'm like, yo, y'all are the ones that built these sanctuary cities, y'all are the ones that told them to come here, so Republican sent them. I thought that was, it was evil genius. I said it didn't. I thought what Rhonda Sanders and Greg Abbott was doing was evil genius. Little did we know how much that was going to come back to bite them in the ass come election time a whole year and a half later.
Starting point is 00:09:58 Huge. A whole year and a half later. And guess what? All it takes some time is just to simply be like, hey, why don't you experience? Fucked up. Oh, yeah, yeah. Yeah, we fucked up.
Starting point is 00:10:07 But they couldn't say that on the campaign trail. And they just weren't addressing the issues that the American people felt strongly about. And she wouldn't distance herself from Biden. Like, she needed to throw Biden under the bus, below the bus, dig a fucking hole in the ground and put it into it. And she refused to do it. And maybe that was out of loyalty. Maybe that was at a strategy. But she needed to be like, that motherfucker fucked up.
Starting point is 00:10:27 This is how I'm going to do it. And she didn't do that. The biggest thing that they said, I saw people saying on the, they said that clip from the view. when she was on the view and they asked her, what would she do different than Biden? She said nothing that I can think of. Yeah. He spent so much money running that ad
Starting point is 00:10:43 over and over and over and over and over and all these battleground states. And here's the problem with Democrats. Said it a million times. They don't know how to message. Did Biden and Harris do some good things while they was in the White House? Sure.
Starting point is 00:10:54 Yes, they did. But they don't know how to message it. They don't know how to tell people the good things that they did. Also, people don't want to be told the good things while they're hurting. When you're foot hurts, Nobody wants to be like, but your hand is okay, right?
Starting point is 00:11:08 Motherfucker, we're not talking about my hand. Talking about my foot. Right. And the American people were very specific about the issues that they had. I've said this a million times. When you're saying things like the economy is better, right? And then you say, look at the stock market. The people that are complaining about the economy not being good don't even have no fucking stops.
Starting point is 00:11:25 Don't even know what the fuck is going on. I'm from a rural area in Monk County, South Carolina. On the dirt road. You understand what I'm saying? Like, I'm not like the moment. I know it well. We were doing this podcast for him with 11 years. Population hasn't changed in 11 years.
Starting point is 00:11:41 Ain't nobody fucking. Nobody. Roe v. Wade is alive and well in most Florida in Florida. It's like 12.13 now. Oh, wow. God damn. My point is those. Migrants.
Starting point is 00:11:51 Those people, people like that in those rural areas, they're not thinking about no stocks. They think about how they put food on their table today. How much is bread? And listen, Trump spoke to people's grievances. That's the thing. And I think that, you know, I was having to be. this conversation last night because we did the broadcast from the, from Howard University.
Starting point is 00:12:09 And it was me and Envy and Lauren LaRosa and the Native Land podcast, Andrew Gillum, and LaRae, Tiffany Cross. And Tiffany was just saying how, you know, people are just stupid, right? She was like, this just shows how ignorant people are and people, you know, they're not intellectuals. And I go, look, you don't have to be smart to know that you can't pay your rent. You won't have to be smart to know that you can't afford these groceries. And I will say something controversial that I, disagreeing with Charlemagne about
Starting point is 00:12:37 him speaking to the poor and this is what people care about. I'm going to say something that people don't like to hear. What's that? Most people in this country are not intellectually curious about a lot of things. And I think Trump's rise to power has coincided with the
Starting point is 00:12:53 dumbing down of the American electorate and the confluence of things that led to that if you ask most people, where are you getting your information from? Most people are not reading papers. Most people are not even curious enough to read a website of But it's fair. It's also fair. It's the fact that he's saying immigrants are come and taking your jobs.
Starting point is 00:13:09 But you can look and see if that information is true or not. Like, I read probably eight papers every day. But there are things that I, when you read the article and then you see what's on television, it is a snapshot of something. Yeah, but people don't see that. They'll see schools are closed because immigrants are staying in the school. Hotels of immigrants and stay. But you're missing one thing.
Starting point is 00:13:31 You don't have to be intelligent to know that you can't eat. I agree with that. Because in real life, I don't have had the time to do this because you're trying to figure out, okay, bet. So when all those people that voted for Barack Obama did it, it was because they were smart and they were intellectuals. And when the same people voted for Trump, this election, is because they're stupid.
Starting point is 00:13:52 So they just got stupider over time. Like, explain that. Listen, man. It's not like we got a new population. Oh, you're right. The same people that she's calling stupid were smart for voting for. Maybe it's because Barack ran a campaign
Starting point is 00:14:08 that spoke to, what's that? Open change and spoke to the things that people wanted. She didn't run that. She ran a horrible campaign, bro. She ran a great campaign. For what it is. You got to think it was a hundred. It literally was a hundred day. For a hundred day campaign to be thrust in that position because you got a guy, she's
Starting point is 00:14:25 you got a guy who's running off ego. You got a guy who was clearly just being selfish. You got a guy who was clearly just power hungry. I know everybody wants to say Biden is a hero. I can't look at it like that. The reason I can't look at it like that is because, yo, you won the election. The first thing you should have said was like, look, I'm only here for four years. So y'all already, y'all, y'all get ready. Okay? Get ready. Or 18 months ago when we were saying, this guy is not going
Starting point is 00:14:51 to make it until November. This guy is not going to win an election in November. He should have told them way, way, way back when? Look, I'm not running again, yo. So y'all figure this out. So y'all can do a primary, get the best candidate, whatever it is. He didn't do that. No amount of time would have changed it. Because at the end of the day, she's still Kamala Harris. No, no, I'm not saying even for her. I'm just saying they could have did a primary and they could have picked the candidate.
Starting point is 00:15:15 Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. That somebody would have wanted, you know what I'm saying? Maybe she would have got it. Maybe it would have been Markelly. Maybe it would have been Josh Perry. I don't know. I'm just saying. They didn't have a superstar.
Starting point is 00:15:26 She's not a superstar. It's just what it is. They tried to do their best to hide the fact. You need a superstar to be Trump. Exactly. That's just because he's a superstar with you. Like it or not, you might disagree with him. He is an undeniable super star.
Starting point is 00:15:36 Why are you saying that, though? Because he lost Biden. Biden's not a superstar. I keep telling you, because it was serious. The only election that the Democrats have won in the last 20 years was Barack Obama or Barack Obama's VP. People voted for Joe Biden because we were in love with Barack Obama. Don't get interested how incredible Barack Obama was and how in love with Barack Obama we were. Barack was, and I mean, you saw him on the campaign trail?
Starting point is 00:16:01 It was unbelievable watching. He's a superstar. I think, and I've said it on, I've said it a million times. I think Joe Biden won in 2020 because of a series of unfortunate events. Because of COVID, because of the George Floyd protest, all of these different things. I think without those things, Joe Biden does not win in 2020. I agree. Mail in.
Starting point is 00:16:20 But so how does he win this time? He said what? How does he win this time? Because people remember how they felt in 2020. They just remember how they felt. Because people are done with democratic policy. Because it's not just Trump, right? Like the DA and L.A.
Starting point is 00:16:36 got removed, Gaston, this guy, who put in a lot of, like, Democrat policies that people hold responsible for the city not being what it used to be. So people in general were rejecting Democrat policies. They were rejecting, rejecting left-wing ideology. And that's why Trump won the popular vote,
Starting point is 00:16:55 and that's why they won the Senate. That's why they're probably going to win the House. It's not like this was a flood. But they had a lot of white, Senate Democratic candidates who outperformed Kamala. White Senate? They had a lot of white Democrats who ran for the Senate who did outperform.
Starting point is 00:17:14 What does that be? I'm missing by them being white is important. I don't know. They just was white. I'm just saying that's what they're labeled at. With a lot of them did outperforms common. And you had the governor, the governor of North Carolina is a Democrat. He won. Right? Yep. Yeah, yeah. So I mean, I, I don't think, I don't think none of your point.
Starting point is 00:17:32 which is wrong, but I just don't think it's one thing. I think it's a bunch of different things that caused Democrats to be in a position that they're in now. I also think, like, horrible strategy at the end of the campaign. Like, I thought at the end of the campaign, the, the Comley campaign was very
Starting point is 00:17:48 specific at the last month. It was like, we just want black people to come out. And that's the only people they targeted. It was the only podcast they did. It was the only media they did. Oh, wow. She was out there with Liz Cheney the most. Let's chat with her favorite in the last month. That was the worst.
Starting point is 00:18:02 decision the Democrats ever. Now that might be, now that I agree with. But that's a separate argument. Like, because, and we were talking about this one player, but like, here's a perfect example. People talk about, like, how Republican, uh, Trump is, right? Who's, uh, who's Trump surrounded by? Does name, name me the names. Who are Trump's people? POSY Gabbard, RFK Jr., RFK Jr., lifelong Democrat. Lerone Musk. Lifelong Democrat. Vevac, voted for Obama. On and on and on, it's just Democrats surrounding them, homeless Democrats, Democrats, Democrats, that used to be lifelong Democrats and then the Democratic Party left them.
Starting point is 00:18:36 So now they find this other... You got a breadth of the Republican Party who just falls in line with them. Exactly. Now you have... Who is the biggest surrogate, like you said in the last month for Kamala? Liz Cheney.
Starting point is 00:18:45 The worst possible name that you could attach to a politician in history. Sheaney. I think they invested too much money into trying to court white women. Trying to court Republicans. I don't think they... I don't think they invested enough
Starting point is 00:19:02 money into their base. I don't think they did enough to go after their base. But the base still showed up, though. Can't act like the base didn't show up. Black men showed up and black women showed up. It was white men, white women, and Latinos. Latinos showed up for Trump. But also she didn't do it. More than half. Yes, more than half of Latinos
Starting point is 00:19:18 voted for Trump. Yeah, of course. So, but they're the ones who caused her to the election. But they didn't speak to white people or Latinos the last month. She only... No! No! Listen, these are the... She spoke to white women with the Caller Daddy podcast. Oh, you're talking about this with the podcast. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:19:32 Oh, no, I'm talking about the ground. I'm talking about the ground game. No, no, I'm talking about the media that she's done, right? Gotcha, got you got it. So she did The Color Daddy, that's White Women. After that, she does Breakfast Club. She does... No, she did Brene Brown.
Starting point is 00:19:45 I don't know who that is. Big, huge white woman. Huge White Woman podcast. I don't know. Yes, Collar Daddy, Brunay Brown. But she does... The Smoke. She did all the Smoke.
Starting point is 00:19:56 She did The View. View is white women and black women. She did Fox. She did CNN. She did a lot. I think. What are the other pods? Oh, just pod?
Starting point is 00:20:03 Yeah. Podge. She did Alex Cooper, Braynene Brown, All the Smoke, Club Shayshay. Um, that's it.
Starting point is 00:20:14 Maybe there's more. Felt to me like a specific, first of all, it felt like there was no outreach to young men at all. Like, especially non-black young men, like zero.
Starting point is 00:20:25 And so I'm not exactly shocked when I saw that they did not come out for her at all. She could have went on the biggest platform in the world and the biggest platform for black people in the world, which is the Joe Rogan podcast,
Starting point is 00:20:36 and she chose not to do it. And I think that that was a very foolish, foolish, foolish. Fun facts. Yes. You know, Deadline did an article, and they, like, the biggest winners and losers of the 2024 political media cycle, right? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:20:50 And they had me as a big winner. They had Rogan as a loser. I totally disagree with that. Rogan, those, the three he did, the Trump, JD fans, Elon Musk. come on like that's like
Starting point is 00:21:05 and I heard I heard so many people talking about the Elon. I didn't listen to the Elon Muskman. I heard so many people talking about the Elon Musk but that week I had people saying to me yo
Starting point is 00:21:15 that Elon Muskman he was saying some shit like he was saying some real shit he might like I might fuck with Don't be fool people were voting for Elon even though Trump is the person that they
Starting point is 00:21:27 what's it called wrote in on the bubble they're voting for fact that Elon's going to be involved in that administration. Oh, I can see that. 100%. Somebody told me one of my guys that was looking this week, he can't vote because he's not from here, but he... Damn, what if my guy doesn't get the poor of the January?
Starting point is 00:21:45 He's not from here. But he was saying how, like, he like RFK. You know what I'm saying? So he might rock with Trump because of RFK. He can't vote, but he was just saying, I would like to see what the RFK does in that administration. I also think there's another thing. I think this is very important because we're talking about legacy media versus new media, right?
Starting point is 00:22:05 And you understand this because you've done radio. And I think radio has always, radio has always done this. Pull up that deadline on it. This is a good, this is good. I like this. And here's the difference that I see. I saw Kamala doing a lot more traditional media, legacy media, if you will. Okay.
Starting point is 00:22:30 Now, Trump did it as well. Don't get me wrong. She definitely avoided doing the podcast run. They avoided our podcast. She avoided Rogan. She avoided tons of big podcasts. She went on, you know, a few shows. But the value of sitting down with people for a long time is that you get to start to build a connection with these people, right?
Starting point is 00:22:52 She went on SNL. They did a sketch. It might be watched by more people than anywhere in the world. Yeah, but sketch was great, though. But here's the reality. And there are comedians on SNL, right, that are hilarious comedians. They might not be able to sell out a comedy club for a weekend. And they're on the biggest comedy platform in the world because the reality is getting people to leave their house to support you is about connection.
Starting point is 00:23:15 As someone in radio for fucking 20 years, you understand that. You've built connection with people. Every day, daily. Exactly. Legacy media, these TV shows are not about building connection. They're about selling pharmaceutical ads. that is the goal of the show. How can I sell your next depression pill?
Starting point is 00:23:34 How can I sell your next Restless Leg Syndrome pill, et cetera? So you're in a situation where Trump is going on these pods for long amounts of time, building connectivity with these people and talking to people who are really trusted with their audience. That's going to make somebody leave the house, just like it makes our supporters and fans leave the house when we do our comedy shows. I think that is the difference between legacy media and new media. New media is about connection with the fans. Legacy media came from a time where simply being on TV or simply being famous was enough to get people to go see you.
Starting point is 00:24:11 And those days are done. Yeah, it's interesting, right? Because even when you talk about new media, I think that there's a difference between people who, you know, like there's a lot of these platforms. They might get a lot of crazy, crazy numbers, but you've got to have actual influence, right? And the way you get influences by engaging with people. I think that there's another new, new level of media, which I think is the stream was they do what radio does. They're on there every day.
Starting point is 00:24:35 They're talking with people. Yeah. They're not just talking. When we drop it, when we put out brilliant idiots, we're talking to them. To them. We're not talking with you. We're not talking with them. We're talking to them.
Starting point is 00:24:47 So people are watching this right now, and they're enjoying watching me and Andrew talk. They get in the comments and talk shit and hope we see it. Right. You know what I mean? But they don't actually get to engage with radio. in the stream with they get to engage. That shit forms a different level.
Starting point is 00:25:00 Think about the bond. And you see it. Oh my God. You see it when like you see there's that streamer speed. You see him go around the world and people lose their fucking minds for this kid. That's right. So they're building that deep connectivity. There are people that are on incredibly famous legacy media shows that can walk around New York City or any other city in the world and nobody will fucking recognize them, bother them, even care.
Starting point is 00:25:22 They know they're famous, but it doesn't move the needle. J-Lo doesn't move the needle. doesn't move the needle. The famous celebrities don't move the needle. We still see them as famous. It's still exciting to see them, but they no longer have the same influence as someone who has a deep connection to their audience. I thought about that too, because we were having a conversation about do celebrities move the needle? At first I said no, but then I said, hmm, actually probably yes, it's just that celebrity is different now. So. Joe Rogan's a celebrity. Yes. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Aidan Ross is of the way.
Starting point is 00:25:56 world, the people, flagrant, the deal of, like, those are considered the celebrities now, but they're also the influence, because that's why you used to go, people go to celebrities for what? Influence. Yep. Now you have actual influences, yeah, yeah. Influences. So I think that those celebrities do still move to needle. I just think that celebrity is different.
Starting point is 00:26:15 And I think that there's something, too, if your grievance is the economy, right? If your grievance is, you know, it's not enough money in your pocket. you don't want nobody Rich telling you what to do Now why they fall for the billionaire Elon Musk I don't know He's an anomaly It's hope
Starting point is 00:26:38 You see what this guy's been able to accomplish And you hope that he applies that same Success to the government to the economy So that you can be successful Just like his business is he getting deported? Definitely not That motherfucker's safe He's not going nowhere
Starting point is 00:26:53 Elon not getting to Portage, Joe. Elon can do whatever he wants. Scroll up, Taylor, what show said made me think about something because I was looking at, you know, Dominique, uh, Dominique from Deadline did this article.
Starting point is 00:27:07 Hold on, scroll up, scroll up, scroll up, scroll up, scroll up, scroll up, scroll up, scroll up, scroll up, scroll up. No, okay. Yeah, loser. Broadcast networks, make that bigger. He said, Dominique said, the reach of the news divisions of ABC, NBC, and CBS is way, way, way down and prestige.
Starting point is 00:27:23 last, what does that say? And prestige last meant something in the Reagan area. Oh, all of which means, for the most part, the broadcast networks were side players and the drama of this year's election. Yes, ABC saw massive viewership numbers out of its multi-outled simulcasted September 10th debate between the VP and the former POTUS,
Starting point is 00:27:42 yet none of that was seen on ABC by the millions who subscribed to direct TV as Disney was in a contract dispute with the satellite provider at the time. CBS has gotten more attention for Trump ranting about revoking its license over edits made to a 60 Minutes interview with Harris, than anything in that interview
Starting point is 00:27:56 or anything else the network has done this election. Somewhere in the heavens, Walter Cronkite is wiping away a tear. So I look at this and I think two things. If I'm running for president, I don't think you leave any stone unturned. You've got to do it all.
Starting point is 00:28:13 I think you got, I've said it a million times. Back in the day, you build it, they would come. Now, you got to meet people where they are, bro. Everywhere. Like, you got to. to go everywhere. Legacy media. Yes.
Starting point is 00:28:26 There's also, Mark had a good point about this. It was like, there's different demographics. Older people still watch legacy media. They're not watching a podcast. Mark got that from me. I said that on the pod.
Starting point is 00:28:34 I said that on the pod. He got that from me. My motherfucker got that from me. My motherfuckerater, right? I see in Trump's America what people do? I'm just saying, you got that? I said that here. But yeah, you're right.
Starting point is 00:28:46 It's like, in, in Trump's America, like, you basically can do whatever you want and have all this success that you dream of. This is not Trump's America. This is the people's America. And the people voted for Trump. But don't ever forget,
Starting point is 00:29:01 don't, we're not going, don't get caught up in the code of personality. Trump works for you. You voted for him. He works for you. All right. Tell Trump that. But see, that's fucked up.
Starting point is 00:29:11 It shouldn't be that way. Yo, you know what, Charlemagne? You better watch your tongue. Man, y'all bet you. Don't get caught up in the corner. Watch your tongue. Trump works for you.
Starting point is 00:29:22 y'all and you better push him. Absolutely. The next four years, hopefully it's just four. I'm putting four in quotation marks. That's what I'm saying. Right. Right. Hey, if it's going good. See?
Starting point is 00:29:36 No, no, if it's going to be good. What are you confused about that? Because you're saying in 2020 is how it's how it's in 2020, but people hated how the country was. Who hated how the country was? That's when the pandemic started. You wasn't in Florida.
Starting point is 00:29:50 You wasn't in Georgia. He wasn't in South where these people was outside. Living life. And PPP loans was everywhere. Flourishing. Stimby checks. Oh. Stimby checks.
Starting point is 00:30:03 Everybody. I could drive you through Mous Corner right now and point and say he bought that trailer with PPP. Yep. I'm not even joking. I got family members that I tell all the time. You're going to jail. They're coming for you. But why do people think?
Starting point is 00:30:15 They're coming. We were in a pandemic. Why people think that's about to be the same? You're right. That doesn't make sense to me. You're absolutely right. But that's what happens when people aren't informed. They think in their mind...
Starting point is 00:30:26 They know that we're not in... Like, there doesn't make it. There are many other reasons. They've seen their cities deteriorate. Now, the cause of that deterioration is what the single cause is unknown. It might be many different causes. It might be implementation of plans that were not Democrat.
Starting point is 00:30:47 It actually, Republican, it might. Who knows? But what they know is, under democratic jurisdiction, their cities have gotten worse and they don't want it anymore. Take that shit up with your local government. They did.
Starting point is 00:30:58 That's why they replaced them. Yeah, take that shit up with your local government. But they did. They got them out of there. The DAs got flipped. And Cali, right? Yeah. Go to the podcast part of this Taylor,
Starting point is 00:31:08 this deadline article. Oh, this was good, too. He said billionaire. I found this very interesting. But she just said every liberal person's a winner and every Republican is a lot. Oh, no. Hell no.
Starting point is 00:31:18 No, no, no, no, no, no. No, no, no. That's not true. I thought that too. When I read the article, that's what I was thinking in the beginning when I first started reading it.
Starting point is 00:31:25 But no, because another person I feel like they said was a loser on here that they shouldn't know was John Stewart. Because they said that, go to the John Stewart part. Elon's a loser.
Starting point is 00:31:35 They said TikTok's a loser. Go back to the podcast. No, he said TikTok's a winner. Beyonce's the MVP. What the fuck? How the fuck is Beyonce the MVP of this? What the fuck does she?
Starting point is 00:31:47 She walks on stage for three minutes doesn't do shit to sway the election or motivate voters. And she's the MVP. And I'm supposed to take this seriously in this article? Yes, because I'm the fucking number one winner. That's why. All right. I stopped reading after that.
Starting point is 00:32:03 It says the podcast. Trump says his teenage son, Baron, has been advising him on podcast to reach traditionally non-voting audiences. If true, Barron is looking pretty smart in both campaigns. From the laughing and mocking host of Flagrant to bust in with the boy, What's busting with the boys? It's two ex-football players. Oh, Willempton and Taylor Wing?
Starting point is 00:32:23 Yeah. Okay. To the oddly touching back and forth with Theo Vaughn and, of course, Rogan, Trump took the lead and found welcoming safe places that had a much more direct and unmanicured route to voters than 60 minutes are another debate. As proven by the VP's appearance on Carr, Daddy, with Alex Cooper, and club shay-shay with Shannon Sharp,
Starting point is 00:32:41 not to mention the radio purchase of Howard Stern and the Breakfast Club, the power of podcasts are something on which both candidates agree to selection. Now, winner is podcast. Losers is late night. John Stewart came back to work to Monday shift on The Daily Show after hosting waiting, Assam Minaj was unfairly given the media equivalent
Starting point is 00:32:58 of a wedgy by the New Yorker. But who really cares? Certainly not Harris or Trump, as neither of them showed up on the Comedy Central show. Show the VP was with Stephen Colbert on October 8th and on SNL this past weekend, but otherwise, late night was pretty much
Starting point is 00:33:11 a no upside of risk for the tightly scripted Harris in the whirlwind campaign. As for Trump, forget about it. Been there, done that. the jokes. Now, I disagree with that. I think John Stewart came back and did fantastic
Starting point is 00:33:23 work, and I think he's been doing fantastic work because John Stewart is a lot like podcasters, personalities. He has an audience that he talks directly to him. And they listen to him and they believe him. You don't have to sit down and interview a
Starting point is 00:33:39 candidate to have that kind of impact. I think Dominique, you got that one. You didn't get that one right. I need to read this Beyonce MVP. Let me hear it. Let me hear it. I didn't read it.
Starting point is 00:33:50 Let me see. MVP, winner Beyonce. Taylor Swift delivered her endorsement of the VP as the September 10th debate when Trump ended, but it was Queen Bee who has proved essential to the Harris campaign. Beyonce's 2016 tune Freedom is the VP's walk-on music at those well-attended rallies. 32-time Grammy won a supposedly donated $4 million to Harris campaign in his first days this summer. Beyonce never showed up at the DNC despite those absurd whispers. She would be there on the closing night in Chicago, saving the best almost for last.
Starting point is 00:34:16 the Texas Holam singer showed up in her hometown of Houston on October 26 with her ex-Destiny's child bandmate Kelly Rowland to introduce the VP, unlike Barack Obama's second inauguration. Beyonce didn't sing at the rally, co-starring Willie Nelson, but her words of a new song for America to sing was music to the Harris campaign. That makes her the MVP.
Starting point is 00:34:34 Dominique, I love you because you wrote something that was accurate about my boy, because we both agree, he is the fucking man. But Dominique, how the fuck is that making her the MVP? I mean, come on. Yeah, I don't. She's, she's the MVP because she allowed her to use her song as the walkout for her rallies.
Starting point is 00:34:56 You want to know the problem with this article? What's that? Kamala loss. Yeah. That is the problem. That is the problem with this. You're right. Kamala wins.
Starting point is 00:35:11 You ain't arguing about Beyonce. You're not talking about how Taylor Swift really don't got it like that. Now we, now we're a country. Now, now we're a country. Now, now we. We found unity. We found unity. Now we got it.
Starting point is 00:35:31 Okay, give me that shit, right. Somebody gonna clip this one part. I know. Now we're a country. Watch. Magga at the top. Okay. But for real, Taylor Swift really don't got the,
Starting point is 00:35:44 she don't really got the juice like that. She don't. I mean, neither does Beyonce, but Taylor really don't. Like, neither of them do. That's crazy. They got nothing. Taylor's fans are like, yo, go, go and shut up and dance. Teller friends are saying, shut up and strong.
Starting point is 00:35:59 By the way, Taylor didn't even really commit. Yo, she didn't. I think Beyonce props. Didn't. She did it. She failed on the last one. There was like one thing that she was in Pennsylvania. You did a look at Instagram post.
Starting point is 00:36:11 She knew. But you didn't show up, show up. Taylor, I think she's. Great, you got to her. Somebody, I'm telling you, somebody said to her, look. It's not her name, right? Brittany Moehm. Brittany Mahomes.
Starting point is 00:36:21 No, no, no, no, they ain't Britney. Travis Kelsey. Somebody around Taylor said, Taylor. I'm going to show you this quote from Michael Jordan. She was looking for this quote. And this quote says, Republicans buy shoes too. And somebody said to Taylor Taylor, we've done some analytics. It ain't looking good, Shraddy.
Starting point is 00:36:39 I know you might think these people over here, you're like, base. This is your base. Cat ladies. And she disappeared. You didn't see nothing from Taylor. Disappeared. Disappeared. Nothing.
Starting point is 00:36:52 Menopause. Come on, yo. Am I on you? Support went on. Beyonce showed up. Beyonce did a speech. Barely. Hey, she showed up.
Starting point is 00:37:03 Ain't nobody paying to hear, Beyonce. Taylor did nothing. We need to hear you sing. If Beyonce would have sang on that stage, bro. Nah, she was singing the whole time. She had freedom. No, but if she sang on that stage, I, it might, hey.
Starting point is 00:37:17 God damn, bro. No, I'm Captain America, but. God damn, bro. Listen, Chris, grab the mic, Chris. Chris, why haven't spoken at all? You all Solomon. Chris, grab the mic, Chris. Come on, Chris.
Starting point is 00:37:28 You know why. Come on, Chris. We need you, Chris. Who do you think can protect Taiwan from China? Not Kamala. Chris. Donnie T. What do you want me to say?
Starting point is 00:37:39 Let's be serious for a say. Say you love that. We want. Do we not want to? the best for America. Of course. That's why I'm upset today. Okay. You didn't believe in Kamala, bro. Stop. I'm not talking about Kamala. Thank you, though. Thank you. I appreciate it. No, okay. Kamala did the best she could with what she had. Salute to Kamala. She was the option. But stop acting like she's the star. I'm not talking about Kamala. I'm talking about
Starting point is 00:38:07 Trump. Okay, okay. He's an existential threat to the country. He's a threat to democracy. We've had it too good for too long. We forget. what's really at stake how quickly we can lose a grip on this thing, and we're about to find out. And that's very scary to me. Well, let's not wish for that. And I certainly don't wish for that. Yeah, I'm not, I don't want.
Starting point is 00:38:26 Hey, listen, everything you're talking about, I'm not that far from Trump on immigration. I'm not, all right, let's see, I can't do this. Oh, Chris, what I mean? Chris, you can't be that tricking. Yes, I can. Yes, I can. You're asking this fucking barista from Bushwick
Starting point is 00:38:41 to ask questions on brilliant idiots, the American podcast for America. Like, what the fuck's going on it? You got some Canadian lady sitting in a seat behind the camera asking him questions about America on Brilliant Idiot's American Podcast for Americans. He are here as Patriots. So I talk about why America's great. That's what we try to do over here.
Starting point is 00:39:05 You got a hairstylist from Hoboken talking about random-ass shit. Chris, talk about brilliant idiots, the American podcast for America. History will judge me as the patriot today. I have no question about that. I'm not mad at Chris. All I'm simply saying is I'm just trying to be optimistic. As I said earlier, I hope Donald Trump does nothing he said he's going to do. No, no, no.
Starting point is 00:39:30 You want him to make America. I'm talking about the wild shit. Like, you know how people will say things like, oh, that's just him riling people up. You want a great economy, though. Of course. You want to stop the senseless wars. Of course. You want to stop the anti-Semitism.
Starting point is 00:39:44 The census is all. By the way, as soon as this war is not going to stop. Oh, he's going to put a stop to that. No. He already said he told, he told, he told, he told, he told, he said, told Netanyahu, Biden's holding you back. He said, go get it done. Oh!
Starting point is 00:39:57 So, he said it. Did he not say that, Chris? Woo! It's not good. What does that mean? What does that mean, Chris? But. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:40:07 What does that mean? He said, he's, he's. I mean, look, I think a lot of people who, uh, I mean, look, my, my big takeaway from this election is Congratulations to Mr. Putin. I believe that a lot of this was about misinformation. Get the shield. Not the election, though, Chris. They won the election fair in square.
Starting point is 00:40:27 Oh, I'm not questioning who voted for who. Yeah, yeah. I'm not saying the election. Can you not fathom that the American people were tired of democratic rule and the democratic policy? I don't, I know for a fact they were. Not a way. Look, I talked to my father today.
Starting point is 00:40:41 Again, lifelong Republican, right? I said, what happened? The identity politics, it's happening too fast. This is his take. It's happening too fast. People don't want it at the speed. The trans issue is very. They don't want to see, yeah, they don't want to see,
Starting point is 00:40:57 they don't want to meet up women for medals. Right. He said, I got two old women in my building, older than him. He's in his 80s. Yeah. Their number one issue is the trans issue. I get it. It's a non-bucking issue.
Starting point is 00:41:11 It doesn't affect anybody. It's just to deflect. It affects an election. Well, but that's my point. Like, it's, it affects an election. This is what coastal elites do. I did it when I was younger. Anything that doesn't affect us is a non-issue.
Starting point is 00:41:27 It doesn't affect. And we speak about it like that. And even the messaging now I'm seeing coming out with the left, they're like, it's all like white people and uneducated people to vote for Trump. It's like, yo. You don't even, listen, by the way, yo. Hey, I'm uneducated.
Starting point is 00:41:40 I didn't go to college. But guess what? Even if you're uneducated, like I said earlier, you know if your grocery bills to, you guys. Thank you. You know if you evicted. To your point, Chris, I do think the trans issue is really a non-issue, but it's effective in an election. Oh, I get it. That's not a non-issue. It's effective. It's so minuscule compared to the more serious issues facing this. That's because neither your kids are trans. No, no, no, no. If one of your kids-
Starting point is 00:42:07 commercial. What are you saying? You got so compassionate. It's because none of your kids are trans. He's talking about the commercial that Trump ran over and over that had me an envy in it. Oh, yeah. Where it said the thing about taxpayer dollars going to transgender inmates. Yeah, we don't want that. We don't want that. That's my point.
Starting point is 00:42:31 Nobody was thinking about that. Crime is a real issue. We were thinking about the sports. Immigration is a real issue. The economy is real. Friends and women's sports and the women's right? It doesn't. Well, no, no, we got to get to that.
Starting point is 00:42:45 anybody is what I'm saying. Yeah, I don't know if trans and women's sports. Explain me how it affects. It's not a table issue. Psychologists, the trans women's sports is a table issue. Like, people talk about it. We discussed it, but it's not really, it's not really impacting anything. No, no.
Starting point is 00:43:00 Makes you feel. Yeah. It makes them look crazy. Yes. It makes you be able to say, look how ridiculous these mothers are. You're right. It's not a first issue. You're right.
Starting point is 00:43:09 The first issue is economy. The first issue is like safety. The first issue. Climate. No, climate's not even close. the first issue of those things and then afterwards to justify how crazy they are they're like
Starting point is 00:43:21 and they got women they got men beating up women for gold medals yes right so I think that is but there are also issues you know in a with with children right now where I believe it was Megan Kelly was talking about this and she basically said that the
Starting point is 00:43:34 essentially what psychologists and school psychologists are supposed to do right now is when children have gender issues is a firm so that is what is considered I don't want to call it the rule, but there is a version for psychological care where that is the protocol.
Starting point is 00:43:53 So the protocol is to affirm. And the reality is that when kids are going through different times, their emotions are a little tricky. Obviously, you're going through puberty, and you have a lot of things going through your system. You're like, fuck, am I gay? Am I depressed? Am I sad? Do I have anxiety?
Starting point is 00:44:06 I'm not comfortable with the idea of a kid. Look, I'm not experiencing my own family, but I'm experiencing it in a family I know. For sure. So let me get it all out. So the idea is, a kid goes into their guidance counselor and then they essentially go like, I think I'm trans, right?
Starting point is 00:44:18 Because now that's an option and that's something that's heavily rewarded within schools. And now that person right there who is administering the care has to affirm that. They can't push back on that. They go, yes, you are. That's okay. It's normal to have these feelings. Now, I'm not saying you have to push back and say you definitely aren't.
Starting point is 00:44:37 But maybe there's a little wiggle room where you could explore these feelings that you're having, right? And I think it's normal for parents to look at that, especially parents with kids. kids that are vulnerable to these things. I don't want nobody in school talking to my kids about this shit. Well, that's the other thing. If my kids are going through that, I want them to be coming to me with that conversation.
Starting point is 00:44:52 I don't want them talking to nobody else. And if they do address that with somebody, I want to teach you to stop right there and be like, hey, I validate your feelings, but let's talk to your parents first. And then what would you do if they told you, give him the D. Wade statue? This guy. This guy. Charlotte, Charlotte, Charlotte.
Starting point is 00:45:13 Just get it out. Cutting, you show you up. But did you see the statue? Do you know what he's saying in the statue? Do you know what he's saying? This guy, he's really, you know what he said? Really, he's going like this. He's going, he's really?
Starting point is 00:45:26 Maga! That's the day? Is that the day? Oh, what's she saying? I grew up a middle class. Thank you all. Thank you. How would that how would do?
Starting point is 00:45:37 Is this happening right now or this already happened? So let me say, and I love you back. Tomlin did not terrible. And I love you back. So let me say, my heart is full today. She's not a perfect candidate. Nobody is. My heart is full today.
Starting point is 00:45:52 Full of gratitude for the trust you have placed in me, full of love for our country, and full of resolve. The outcome of this election is not what we wanted, not what we fought for, not what we voted for. not what we voted for but hear me when I say hear me when I say the light of America's promise will always burn bright
Starting point is 00:46:25 you gotta have it you gotta have the light bro the light of you've earned the promise as long as we never give up and as long as we keep fighting oh she's trying January 60th No, people.
Starting point is 00:46:42 Daniel 6, bro. Oh, I see you. No. I see you. No. But we're going to be there. You have to fight to make sure that these politicians do what they say they're going to do. Whoever you elected.
Starting point is 00:46:57 November, yesterday, whatever the day was, you have to fight to make sure that they're going to do what they're going to do. You know what I was shocked about this election though? And Taylor brought it up before. I thought that the Roe v. Wade was going to play a much bigger... I did too. Because as a woman... I'm gonna stop giving a fuck about shit y'all don't give a fuck about.
Starting point is 00:47:16 Right, though? Like, we all here giving the fuck about truth in the body. I can't believe it. It just doesn't make no sense to me. Because it's literally her being a woman, regardless, like, is something to see as a woman myself and a black woman's stuff, like, going up against, you know, being a president and everything.
Starting point is 00:47:34 So now... I know what you're trying to say, because I've heard a bunch of people say that in the last 24 hours. What Taylor is saying is when you watch a qualified black woman like this lose to the executive producer of celebrity apprentice And this is the second time we've seen this happen Because we saw a super qualified woman like Hillary Clinton do it
Starting point is 00:47:51 And now you see it happen to Kamala That she makes you feel away Right Taylor? No, that's not what she meant What did she mean? She didn't mean that That's exactly what she meant She just did
Starting point is 00:48:03 Taylor what did you want to see right there You wanted to see Aw That's exactly I don't think that's what she meant. Yes, it is. Taylor, what's wrong, yo? Are you getting emotional about that?
Starting point is 00:48:15 Yes. Women are emotional about this. I told you that, especially black women. They are upset about this. Damn, bro. Is there a song we want to play? Shut up. Go to the freaky ref, Taylor.
Starting point is 00:48:32 Go to the freaky ref. What's the freaky ref? Oh, wait for you see this shit. You ain't see this shit yet? No. Oh, my God. Hold on, why is, why can, I think we need to acknowledge that Taylor's feeling something right now. And I think that we should be there for her.
Starting point is 00:48:46 I want to be there for you. Oh, now I feel bad. What? I feel bad because Alex is such a dickhead. He made Taylor cry. What? Seriously. I'm trying to make Taylor cry.
Starting point is 00:48:57 I'll just decide. Women are very tender about this. Because once you, you got to think, Donald Trump literally did everything possible to lose this election. Like, Huffton Post had the best headline. Huffington Post said he ran a campaign. He ran the most racist campaign in modern day history. And smoked it. Didn't just win.
Starting point is 00:49:21 Smoked it. How was it racist? Oh, cut it out. What? Smoked it. How is it racist? Nobody falling for that shit no more. How is it not?
Starting point is 00:49:28 Haitians eating cats and dogs. Hey, racist. There's white Haitians. Man, shut up. Why do you guys immediately assume black That's racist to y'all. Here the thing. You don't even have to do this anymore.
Starting point is 00:49:43 What you mean? He won. I mean, and smoked shit. Okay? He wanted. All right. Now, here's the thing, though. And I want y'all to be remembered this.
Starting point is 00:49:54 Me too. It's up to him to maintain that energy because we know how fickle Americans are getting that White House and don't do none of this shit you said you're going to do. Upset. They're going to flip on them. He's not going to care. He's in there already.
Starting point is 00:50:09 He doesn't got to run again. We're not going to give a fuck. We are going to make America have another golden age. Well, I think this. And I hope you guys all enjoy the prosperity. Why would we? Let's enjoy it together. I hope that's the case.
Starting point is 00:50:24 But I think he's going to use this four years to get as rich as he motherfucking can and to drop all charges against them. And he wants to go. No, no. He said the charge, he said within six minutes. No, I know. He's firing Jackson.
Starting point is 00:50:37 And then somebody. He was CNN was like, well, and I know technically he can't do it because he's the president. His attorney general got to do it. But guess what? His attorney general is going. Yeah. There's no charges. I'm talking about charges.
Starting point is 00:50:47 The charges are done. It's a wrap. Cut it out. He's just going to try to get as rich as he can in his next four years. That was not wrong. That's it. That's all he's going to do. Chris, give a fuck.
Starting point is 00:50:57 No, listen. He showed that during the first four, he ain't do, hardly. Anything he said he was going to do during the first four? That's his entire career. Do we just have some positivity? I hope. No, I hope what you're saying is true. Why would you want to believe this?
Starting point is 00:51:10 I do. I do. I'm not, I want the realism. Hey, I mean, listen, I've lived through eight years of Ronald Reagan. Two Bush, you know, terms, another Bush term. I can handle Republicans. Yeah. I voted Republican.
Starting point is 00:51:26 It's not the end of the world. It's not what I agree with. But I can handle it. This is different. This is different. This is crazy. I hope it's, I hope, I certainly do too. I'm not saying you're wrong.
Starting point is 00:51:37 to be wrong. I want to be wrong. I want all of us to be wrong. No, what I'm saying. There's nothing. This guy is 78 years old. There's nothing in his history that suggests he's going to do the right thing. Everything, all the evidence suggests he's going to ruin the fucking country. And then what about all the other people that were also elected as a referendum on liberal politics? What do you? Like, what about the DAs that were flipped? What about the senators? I think some of them might do a good job. My point is you can tell that the American people want something. It's not just a Trump. Sure. Yeah. So we hope that those people get what they want, right?
Starting point is 00:52:16 We hope that those politicians can deliver. I think shows when you see it at the top, when you see it at the top and you're not happy with that's the top, what is at the top, everybody that's that is going to get punished for it. Yeah. It's just really that simple. Yeah. You know? And I really think that people got real basic issues, and I say it all the time.
Starting point is 00:52:35 People want to know how much money they can have in their pocket, and people want to be safe. If they don't feel like they're getting that much money in their pocket and they don't feel like they're safe, it's going to be a backlash. I think that's what we saw. Now, and I don't think it's one thing. I think it's all those things you're saying. I think it's the things that I'm saying. I think it's good old-fashioned racism and sexism and bigotry. I think it's all that wrapped up into one.
Starting point is 00:52:56 And guess what? That's what you need to do when you run in a campaign. And you don't run a campaign on one thing. You know what I'm saying? You run a campaign on a multitude of things. And you connect with people, and that's how you win election. I just hope that for the sake of Democrats, because I'm a lifelong Democrat, right? I am a registered Democrat.
Starting point is 00:53:17 Okay. I'm nothing. That's fair. Impos. I'm not ready. No, he's independent. Well, I mean, that's. Yeah, I guess I hear what you're saying.
Starting point is 00:53:25 But, like, I hope that Democrats don't chalk this up to racism, bigotry, misogyny. Because if they do... They're not going to do no real soul search. Exactly. So what I hope is Democrats look at what happens and don't go, oh, it's just uneducated people. Oh, it's just white guys. I agree. I hope what they do is some reflection.
Starting point is 00:53:44 And they go, where do we miss the American people? Where are we not answering them? Where do we lose our way? And then maybe, just maybe, the Democratic Party will come back to that beautiful, glorious Democratic Party we have and we're younger that we were all proud of. But I think Republicans need to come back to Senate, too. Listen, I'm not saying they don't. But the only thing that can bring them back to the Senate. the center is that the Democrats are there.
Starting point is 00:54:06 If there's a Democratic option that meets our values, then the, then the Republicans have to. But right now the Republicans are speaking to the things that Americans care about. I think, yeah, I'm not, I agree with you. I think Kamala, uh, I think Kamala is a moderate, but I think that, you know, the, the, the problem is years and years and years of, of, of, of Democrats letting folks down and too much far left from Democrats over the last seven, eight years. Yes. So by the time, Kamala comes around, because Biden's a moderate.
Starting point is 00:54:37 Like Biden's the mind. So by the time they both come around, they're not even looked at as moderates no more. Because the whole party is looked at as far left. You got to just move away from the AOCs. You got to move away from the fucking, what are the other ones that are just allowed and annoying? You've got to go to like, you got to move away from Caitlin Jenna. Yeah, you got, but you got to go to the Buttigiegs. You got to go to the smart principal Democrats.
Starting point is 00:55:00 Normal gay guys. Normal gays. Yes. I am supportive of normal gays. How much more center and normal could you get than Joe Biden? I don't think Joe Biden was too old, Chris. Yeah, I mean, he can't. He wasn't inspiring.
Starting point is 00:55:14 We noticed we noticed he had everything. When it came to being a politician, he was a damn good politician. He also did win. He just, he won. Why do you guys think that playbook's going to work? Like, Trump has shown us the further away from being. Only he can get away with that. He lost to Joe Biden.
Starting point is 00:55:32 I think that was only because 2020, the divide of the country. Like we had COVID, we have all the rioting. People were just tired of that. And they were like, yo, we don't want any more of that. So we vote anybody else. They could have ran a donkey and that donkey would have run over Trump. But I think right now, the American people have shown we're tired of how politicians talk. We like this radical guy who just talks like one of us.
Starting point is 00:55:55 And now every single politician that comes after is going to model themselves like Trump. Listen, and they're going to lose. Because here's the thing. And not doing the reflecting thing. This is where the mistakes are made. If Barack Obama is Michael Jordan, then Donald Trump is Dennis Robin. And there's only one of both of them. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:56:12 But Obama's not Jordan anymore. Oh, no, Obama's always true. No, I mean, part of the reckoning is the Dums have to understand. He went hard at the end. Yeah, but Obama was Jordan in his time, Chris. Yeah, he's joined with the wizards now. Yeah. But as the elder statesman, when he comes forward and says, this is the priority.
Starting point is 00:56:31 Because he did what Schultz is saying, and I guess what I'm saying, too. And it didn't resonate with me. Because he went out there waving his finger at people instead of talking to people. Like, what's on your mind, brother? What's the problem, brother? Why aren't you supporting us, brother? Like, what are your issues? He was running the Trump's a bad guy campaign.
Starting point is 00:56:49 That doesn't work. He's bringing up things that are known hoaxes. Those aren't necessary. That's not going to win election. The American people are smarter than that. And they've looked past that. They understand the media spins narratives that are fake. Okay, it happens all the fucking time with presidents.
Starting point is 00:57:04 Shit, it happens with us. So they don't trust these mediators and he's out there, he's spouting it. Now, is he incredibly engaging? Is he a superstar? Yes, but what he has to do is sell them the dream, sell them hope, sell them change, and he wasn't doing that. And that's what the Americans reacted to. It's simple as that.
Starting point is 00:57:21 It's star power with no substance. We need hope. We need change. I mean, I remember Obama. Yeah. Hope is the audacity. of hope. What a great title for a book. Yeah. Make us believe.
Starting point is 00:57:36 Kamala didn't inspire. I wasn't excited for Kamala's America. Like there's nothing exciting about it. I was like, oh my God, this America is going to be amazing. When I think of like Trump and Elon in America, the pipe dream is like, oh my God, are they going to organize everything? Is Elon going to get involved with government, make it more efficient? That sounds like a nightmare. Yeah, it might be a nightmare. But the idea in someone's head of it going great, the idea of it being executed. makes me very excited. The idea of America being the tech capital of the world
Starting point is 00:58:05 and us starting a colony on Mars and us being at the forefront of invention, creativity. To me, I see that with Elon and Trump. I don't see that with Kamala. People are optimistic about possible change or just settling for what? For status quo. So you think Kamala spent too much time
Starting point is 00:58:24 going at Trump as opposed to saying what it is he wants to do? We're over. Like we're over anything bad. you say about Trump are over. We've heard it for years and he's still around. I agree with that. I agree with that. It still has to be said. Huh?
Starting point is 00:58:37 Still has to be said. I mean, you can say it all you want, but if it doesn't work, you're wasting your breath. Exactly. Chris, remember I was, and that's what I mean by the trans commercial. The trans commercial was effective. So it's so it may not mean anything in the bigger scheme of life, right? But it's effective in a campaign. You got to find the things
Starting point is 00:58:53 that are effective in a campaign. Well, then there was a more effective way to say it that they didn't land on. I can see it. Obviously, it doesn't resonate. I can't tell you a resident. Are, Chris, what happened. Are, and this is another way I feel, there just hasn't been an issue that stuck to Trump.
Starting point is 00:59:10 There hasn't been a thing. There hasn't been one thing out of all the wild shit he said, all the things he's done that has stuck to him. What? Not one thing. You came in. There's a multitude of things wild shit he said. I think January 6 stuck with a lot of people.
Starting point is 00:59:25 Not enough. I don't think it did. Sadly, it didn't. I think that's the biggest thing that hurt him. If it wasn't for January 6, Trump would have won by a bigger landslide than he did right now. Man, what did y'all see that? No, no, no. It would have been a bigger landslide, bigger landslide.
Starting point is 00:59:41 Until it would have been a bigger landslide. Would that would have been 20? I don't know. That is, that is the main issue is like, yo, he's a threat to democracy. Hey, I don't think that shit hurt him at all. Now, I did see in the last couple of weeks, a democracy, threat to democracy was actually like the number one and number two issue behind the, number two issue behind the economy.
Starting point is 01:00:00 I don't think that shit had no effect on them at all. I didn't see this. I've said this before and I'll say it again. I've never seen anything like Donald Trump in my life. The man has a different level of privilege. We've seen white powerful men get punished. We've seen white powerful men have to deal with the consequences of their actions. Nothing.
Starting point is 01:00:17 Nothing sticks to it. His shit ain't Teflon. What's some shit that just don't stick to you at all? Come? Come on a gold tooth. I don't know if it's a bad tooth. After they were to pod, man Come on a go to be the fucking crazy
Starting point is 01:00:44 Pay some bills Let me face the bill. All right, guys, let's take a break first. So, shit, somebody in the comments said, somebody in the comment said, Fend to be the most watched brilliant, brilliant idiotious episode. Get them, Drew.
Starting point is 01:00:58 Oh, Shal are going to have Faced All episode. Loved all that. Kindrick talk about how black someone is only for it to bite him back. Hope he liked that Drake beef. This was the cause. So somebody goes, bro, this Drake meat riding that's got the end at some point.
Starting point is 01:01:11 God damn. He said, how'd you manage to shoehorn a three-month-old beef into this situation? And then the do reply back to him, don't get pulled over. What? You can pull over. This shit is great.
Starting point is 01:01:30 This shit is great. Oh, man. Let's do some church announcements. What you got, show, let's see. Last few shows of the tour. Not this weekend, but the next weekend. We're out there.
Starting point is 01:01:40 We got Reno. We had a second show in Reno, San Jose and Portland. Thank you guys so much for selling out those shows. And the final show to tour is going to be in Hawaii, Honolulu, Hawaii. So get the remaining tickets for that one as well. And thank you so much, man.
Starting point is 01:01:53 I appreciate y'all so much. The Life Tour. We are filming the special over Thanksgiving weekend. Hey. Thank you guys so much for selling out those shows. And I can't wait to get in there and get to it with you, man. Listen, my book, Get On Into Dialline,
Starting point is 01:02:06 why Small Talk sucks is available everywhere you buy books now, man. Make sure you go get a copy of that. Make sure you go get all the smokes book. Their coffee table book is also out in stores, all available via my book in print, Black Privilege Publishing. And this weekend, I'll see y'all in Nashville for the Thriller Possibility Summit, man.
Starting point is 01:02:24 You know, the Thrill Possibility Summit is an event that we do, the Black Effect that we do every year, where we fly in 50 HBCU students to Nashville, and we just have a weekend of panels and, you know, different events for them to attend. You know, if you're a major in the steam field, we have just different people who are in those spaces
Starting point is 01:02:47 pouring into these kids all weekend. So I'll get to see you youngings this weekend in Nashville. Now let's get back to the show. Taylor, I hope you're okay. Please don't have Roger come up here. Roger from Rawaway is going to pull his range rover and rough you up I didn't know they're affecting me that way until this moment Yeah
Starting point is 01:03:10 Is Roger from Rawley a Republican? No He's not a real thing Like I don't know I thought y'all was real What do you mean he's not a real thing? My man's name is not Roger Yes his name is Roger from Rawley
Starting point is 01:03:23 He's a Republican and got the range rover You know what? No, but a lot of women have been affected in that way. I see, I saw it. I saw it the past 24 hours. My wife was affected by it. Really? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:03:37 I wanted to ask you about that. How does she, like, what she, how does she feel about it? She, I mean, I just asked what you want to ask. Yeah, who she voted for? She bought for Kamla. I told her, because I didn't want to have to go do all the voting. And I was like, the fuck we can do this far. So I tried to pull the little Larry David.
Starting point is 01:03:52 So I was like, all right, who are you willing for it? She's like, Kamala. And I was like, all right, well, I'm going to vote for Trump. So why don't we both just not go and then we'll be good? And it will cancel each other out. And she was like, all right. And then halfway through the day, she's like, I just went and voted. I said, this motherfucker.
Starting point is 01:04:05 Damn. So I had to pull up. Damn. I had to pull up and throw down. Damn. Had to pull up and throw down. You all argue about it in the house? Not not at all.
Starting point is 01:04:15 She's like really, like, she's obviously heard, you know, she knows that I have certain reasons and she has certain reasons. And like she's doing it obviously because of reproductive rights. You know, we have a daughter. And the way I'm... Very good reasons. The one of the reasons I voted. But I also thought, like, my daughter got another four elections before she's going to have to use them reproductive, right? So we're going to figure that out by the time.
Starting point is 01:04:38 We're going to figure that out before we get to that. Man, Alex. What about that? That shit goes hard. He liked that one. He liked that one. He liked that one, Taylor. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:04:53 But what is... I have a question, though. Well, what is you guys going to have more kids, right? Hopefully, that'd be awesome. Okay. Don't you get about your wife's rights or anything? Well, no, we want to have them. There's no rules.
Starting point is 01:05:05 But you don't think that besides even the abortion, you don't think he's taking away other... Like the right to have kids? No. Women's rights in general, black people's rights. I don't think these are going to affect black people's rights. I think women got maybe a little too many rights.
Starting point is 01:05:19 It's not even just about the rights. I'm talking about even like... When it comes to like... When it comes to like... I don't tell you nothing. Go on. Go on the chicken. Come on back.
Starting point is 01:05:29 Come on. Because you're not like our safety, basically. You don't care about it. I care about your safety. I absolutely care about your safety. But that's in threat of us, though. It is. I will say it is.
Starting point is 01:05:39 I understand the frustration of women have it. I understand why that motor. But I don't understand the black thing to be completely honest with you. I don't understand like how any legislation that you're taking away our history. You're really America's history. That's true. That's true. That's taking away your history?
Starting point is 01:05:54 Yeah, they don't want, uh, anything taught in schools. It's American history. Why don't have a history? Why you want to race arts kids? When you say things, to me, that's the most snowflake thing. That's one of the most snowflake things they do, right? Because they say anything that makes a white person uncomfortable,
Starting point is 01:06:10 you shouldn't teach in school. No, I don't agree with that. Exactly. But I also don't agree with that. But I also don't agree that we need to teach critical race theory. I think that we can have a consensus on like... But critical race theory is just considered the history of America. If you're teaching about slavery,
Starting point is 01:06:23 if you're teaching about Jim Crow segregation. I learned about all those things in school and I didn't have critical race theory. But they didn't call it that. Just don't call it that. This is American history. Just keep on teaching American history the way we all learned it. We all learned about Jim Crow, right?
Starting point is 01:06:34 You guys learned about Jim Crow. But they don't want to. Honestly, I'm disappointed in Florida because Florida are supposed to be more progressive. Florida wants to get rid of that. You haven't met to Florida. I thought Florida was just wild wild west. The fact that they won't legalize marijuana
Starting point is 01:06:48 and that shit, Florida? They can't legalize the marijuana over there. Meth is legal in Florida. And look what happened. They're too indulgent. Florida, whatever they legalize, they got to do it extra. Amen.
Starting point is 01:07:03 Also, you need to be on your P's and Q's in Florida. There's all over the place. Like, you can't have them relaxed and, you know, smoking weed getting gobbled up. No, it's just because they're running the drug game down there. And they're like, we don't need government stepping into it. Ooh, that's actually a good thing, too. That could be it.
Starting point is 01:07:18 Let's do some all memes necessary, man. Because we got four years of this shit coming up. So you don't need to. They don't need to blow it all in one pod. Rest of peace, Quincy Jones. One of the greatest humans that ever walked the face of the earth. Didn't know him personally. I'm just speaking on a pure talent level.
Starting point is 01:07:34 I respect anybody who is able to have the type of longevity Quincy Jones has had and who's able to reinvent themselves through era after era after era after era. You know, some people are lucky to get one, you know, Sanford and the Sun theme song. But did you get Sanford and Sun theme song. He did a night theme song. The color purple, the goddamn, the Austin Powers.
Starting point is 01:07:59 He did that in the 60s. That shit used to be the theme song to the Judy Garland show. Beast. You know what I'm saying? Like, he's just a different guy, man. Thriller. Frank Sinatra. Thriller.
Starting point is 01:08:11 Off the wall. What was the Frank Sinatra song he arranged? And they played it on the moon. Yeah, the one they played on the moon. The moon joint. Fly me to the moon. Come on. Let me sing.
Starting point is 01:08:24 amongst the star. Come on, man. Quincey Jones lived a great life. He lived to be 91 years old. God bless him, man. That's a fantastic life. See, that's what I'd be talking about, right? He lived a long life and he lived a long life. I'm right. You know what I mean? Some of y'all just live a long life and don't live. But he lived. He lived, man. Quincy Jones, man. I love watching him and Clarence Avon together, rest of peace to the God, Clarence Avon. And yeah, man, he reunited now. And it's interesting, right? Because imagine being 91 and all your peers are gone. Like the people you've had some of your greatest moments with,
Starting point is 01:09:01 they're not even here. Like, he could tell all these Franks' adoption stories. Frank ain't here to talk with him. He can tell all these Ray Charles stories. Ray Charles not here to talk with him. He could tell all these Michael Jackson stories. Michael Jackson is not here to talk with him. So you could put mad sauce on it if you know.
Starting point is 01:09:14 You know what I'm saying? Because who's just going to dispute you? Thank you. You know what I'm saying? Nobody around to say you was BS and you could post sauce all over. Now you got to square up when you get to heaven. But while you here? Come on, man.
Starting point is 01:09:28 You're a god walking on water. Play the ref is freaky thing. I watched this video so much, yo. Why would you watch this video? I saw this shit. Because I like to see how normal gay guys behave, yo. This is a normal gay. Look, look, look.
Starting point is 01:09:42 You like to step in a normal. Yeah, why is this man not being investigated? You having all of these conversations about Epstein lists and ditty tapes. We got a tape right here of this perfectly okay center. And look at the time. One minute, 27 seconds left in the fourth quarter. He gave him a little thrust and everything. He'd been watching that thick-ass center bend over all games.
Starting point is 01:10:03 And he was like, man, fuck that. Somebody said unsportsmanlike conduct on the referee for aggressive dittiness. Because he didn't touch him. It looked like he wanted to. He pulled the side of his ass. He just pulled the side of his ass. Look at the coach. That coach is furious.
Starting point is 01:10:20 What was the reason for this? It's like he just swiped it, though. really. No, that's great. So the commissioner, that'll be having to do press conferences because he got to explain this shit. No, that's crazy.
Starting point is 01:10:28 Why did he do this? Look at this shit. Come here, thick, boy. That's, that's, that's... That's... That's... That's... He over there bricked up the whole game.
Starting point is 01:10:39 Yeah, that's true. Like, that shit was calling him. He was like, ooh, God damn. Freaky-ass ref. He is a 69 God. He is a 69 god. Jesus Christ. Damn, bro.
Starting point is 01:10:49 This is in Atlanta, I bet. It is Atlanta. Cowboys versus the foggots. not surprised about that one. Damn. What else we got, Taylor? What? Oh, Freya, Thug!
Starting point is 01:10:59 Yeah. We didn't even talk about that. I'm home. Thug is home. Thug is home. I mean, I didn't see it happening any other way. I actually thought he probably would get a mistrial. But he's home.
Starting point is 01:11:14 He's on probation for 20 plus years. They dropped that shit. They knew exactly what they were doing with that decision. You released that the day before the election. That was last week, right? No. Wasn't it last week? No, it was on Monday or Tuesday.
Starting point is 01:11:26 Yeah, it was last week. But still, you released that shit and then it just gets swallowed up by the election. Yeah, nobody. I mean, that's two different worlds. That's like, you know what I'm saying? You still want to swallow up that story because what a massive fuck-up.
Starting point is 01:11:38 I think it's the most expensive trial in history, or Atlanta history? I know one thing. Fannie Fannie Fannie Willis just got reelected too. Oh, really? I know she on the list. I know Trump got her on the list to opt.
Starting point is 01:11:54 We're going to see her. We're going to see her. I got the list. They sent me the list. You got the list? You got the list? What's all on them? I had to take a few names off.
Starting point is 01:12:02 Really? Who was on the Fannie Willis? Who else? I took your name on? Alvin Bragg. I said, Charlotte is untouchable. You can't touch Charlotte. I'm divinely protected.
Starting point is 01:12:10 That's what I said. He's divinely protected. They know it. I put Chris on there instead. They said you need a sacrifice of white. If we take Charlotte over there, you need a sacrifice of weight. You know, they got a list of, they got a list of, like, extraterrestrial being. They got a list.
Starting point is 01:12:24 list of like people like they know as God's like, anointed ones. They, what? Yeah. That they know is what? Yeah. What are you doing right now? They got a list of people that they know is what?
Starting point is 01:12:40 Anointed. Oh, Drake, play Drake. Get over it, Taylor. Is this him mean mugging DeMarrozen? Shout out to Thug, man. I wish for Thug the same thing I wish for Donald Trump. I want Thug to do the right thing. I want Thug to come home and I want Thug to
Starting point is 01:12:54 start pouring back into the community that he's from. I want Thug to just stay on the righteous path. I don't want to see him violate his probation. And you know, the interesting thing about Thug, everybody keeps saying, like, I see all these memes and shit going around, like, this type of music Thug will be making, and it's like gospel music and all this and that.
Starting point is 01:13:11 To me, and I could be wrong, those biggest records that slap ain't the hood shit. It's parties shit. It's shit like, pick up the phone, baby, and, um, uh, uh, what's the two bitches and, uh, a boy, he puts some other, he got a bunch of shit. Let me pull up my thug playlist for long.
Starting point is 01:13:30 Let's some of the gangsters shit slap, y'all. Like, I mean, he got some cool gangster records. See, he could still say it without saying. He's gonna be. What's the gangster records? For him to get creative. What's the gangster records thug got? I got you.
Starting point is 01:13:44 I mean, he got some gangster shit. But I'm talking about the fucking, um, Hold on. I got a thug playlist. Let me let you tear some of the shit on my thug playlist. Where my thug playlist at? Coming! Grazie, I'm gonna'a. This shit goes crazy. Pick up the phone, slaps.
Starting point is 01:14:13 Oh, no, they didn't pick up the phone, what's that? Ah, it's up. It's up? Man, a lot of this stuff are just... That's what I'm saying? Oh, best friend. That's my best friend. That's my best friend. Two bitches.
Starting point is 01:14:27 the Floyd Mayweather record, powers, you're gonna go, you're gonna be just fine. Digits, pick up the phone, Hercules. He's gonna be just fine.
Starting point is 01:14:37 All I thought I gotta do is rap about women, money. That's it. Being happy and being free. Do you think him and Gunner connect? I hope so. I hope they do.
Starting point is 01:14:45 I mean, he asked the judge. He asked the judge. He told the judge he wants contact with Gunna. His only two co-defendants are his brother and Gunna. So, I mean,
Starting point is 01:14:53 I would assume that he wants to get with Gunner to make music. That would make sense. as his artist, you know? But once again, I want Thug to do the same thing. I want Trump to do. Just the right thing.
Starting point is 01:15:03 That's it. One of them I believe in more than another. Okay? One of them, my belief, will do the right thing. The other, I'm not so sure, but I'm optimistic. Okay. All right, let's do an ad and do some asking idiots. What was the other one?
Starting point is 01:15:17 Pull up the Drake one, the Drake and DeMar de Rosa. I want to know what you thought. Oh, yeah. Man, come on, Drake. Drake, we all get, you know, in our feelings and shit. We all get sensitive about stuff, but you know, you're the biggest hip-hop artist of all time. Who cares? Let this shit go. He did it knock it the fuck off.
Starting point is 01:15:36 Yeah, it's okay. Just let it go, bro. Here's the thing. You can't keep showing how hurt you are. Demar de Rosen did nothing to you. Well, well, well. Kendrick Lamar put him in a verse, and he put him in a video. Well, he agreed to do the video, and I'm sure that they were friends, and he thought that they were close.
Starting point is 01:15:57 in the same place. But that's the other thing. Like there's different ties that Kendrick might have with him and he might have to pull up. Simple as that. I just think it's just like, don't show you're this bothered.
Starting point is 01:16:06 Drake has not handled any of this well. Yeah. When you take a L, there's no need to look bothered, okay? You give your concession speech. Move on. And you move to fucking on. Okay?
Starting point is 01:16:19 Drake has not done that. Drake has done nothing but look more and more bothered. And I'm going to tell you something else. He put out another record last week. Didn't go up? Wait, Drake put out a record last week? Yes.
Starting point is 01:16:32 And the shit actually kind of slaps. It does slap. The no-face shit. You ain't seen it with the video? Pull up the Drake no-face video. That's what I'm saying. That's what I'm saying. This is a scary time.
Starting point is 01:16:44 And I'm going to tell you, February ain't going to be no better, Drake. Because I told you, you should have went and took a break. You should have went and took a break after all of this happened. Went away. February. Grammys.
Starting point is 01:16:57 Drake, Kendra going to win a Grammy for Euphoria and not like us. Then Kendra going to turn right around and perform at the Super Bowl. Yeah, but Drake could also just claim he didn't lose for the next four years. It might work out for him. Did he stop trying to steal Trump move, bro? I'm just saying. It worked with it. Drake, not Trump.
Starting point is 01:17:13 Let's come on. Let's be honest here. He's talking about Trump is a very different situation. I mean, here's the difference between Drake and Kendra. I mean, Drake and Trump. Trump actually had a comeback. Okay. And it's still early.
Starting point is 01:17:28 No. He won it. Drink ain't having, there's no comeback. Oh, yeah, yeah, he got to walk away. It's over. Play it, play it. Look at this shit. Play it.
Starting point is 01:17:35 It's only one minute. It's only one minute, 13 seconds song. What? What? This is this shit that my daddy had raised me on niggas got lit off the features. I skated on. I got a note. I got a know.
Starting point is 01:17:49 How you get lit off the nigga you hate it? No. This is the moment. I know they've been praying on. No. Try now the boy off and fuck it. I'm staying on. Oh, keep on sending me.
Starting point is 01:18:00 to go crazy on 40 keep saying it's time to be patient and so many people we turn in this this is flat capo got plans but we'll say that for later on hush and keep saying they know that they play on katie just test what the fucker we waiting on damn me I'm expressionless niggas be talking about don't shoot the messenger five five fight your shot for a way less in here none of you pussy's is blocking my blessings here what all these just throwing success in your face all of these baddies of my face all this shit they don't address in my face I can't be showing no stress in my face what yeah no face no face no face no face no face No face.
Starting point is 01:18:31 No face. No face. You ain't fucking with it, Alice? No face. It's good. For some reason, I don't know. That's what I'm telling you. I did not get, I did not know.
Starting point is 01:18:45 I did not know. It's good. I like it. I just think the chorus sucks. The actual, the verse is fantastic. Yeah. But the no face, no face, no face. The same is six days ago.
Starting point is 01:18:57 You didn't even know it came out. I didn't know it came out. Wow. No, I don't even seen the, like, media reporting it either. I'm trying to tell you. Like he's saying like the cultural ones, like the shade room. That's what I'm trying to tell. No, I saw it on a couple, but that's my mom.
Starting point is 01:19:09 That's what I'm trying to tell you. That's all I'm trying to tell you. Oh, I'm trying to tell you. Even in the verse, you could tell like he's still bothered. Yeah. I think that's what it is. Like, yo, just give us a good song we can dance to. And even the video is him and all his goons.
Starting point is 01:19:23 You know what I'm saying? Like on some tough guys. On some tough guys shit. Like, stop. Come on Drake. Fun Drake is unbeatable. If you try to. be fun. If you're trying to have fun, you're being silly, you're being funny, you can't lose.
Starting point is 01:19:36 Unless he's going up against Trump right now, technically, because the whole election. Can't be Trump. Can't be Trump. This was six days ago, Taylor. Usually, yeah, Drake would stop, but the media, but. We got to stop acting like there's this intersectionality of media. Like, Drake can drop a record and there can be an election. Not, not right now, no. I wasn't consuming. You're right. Taylor's right. Really? Outside of politics for the past three months. It's going to be like that. It's going to be like that for another week, too. Two weeks, probably.
Starting point is 01:20:05 No, longer than that. Longer than that. Here, here's the thing. Here's the thing. What are you talking about? This is Donald J. Trump. Mm-hmm. You know, I remember
Starting point is 01:20:17 maybe a year ago on this podcast, we all sat around and was like, there's a part of us that want to see the Donald Trump Revenge tour. But now it is here, I don't want to. I was, and I said it, but I was like, I didn't think it would, I didn't think it would be a part.
Starting point is 01:20:32 possibility. I didn't think there was no way in hell. See what you did? Donald Trump would ever be back in the White House. So you got this guy with the Senate, maybe the House, possibly putting too more judges on the Supreme Court, and presidential immunity. Oh, my God. My God. You ain't never seen somebody get a catalog like that. When you get the catalog, what do you say? Who? What makes it? Give me the catalog. I'll show you how Daddy ball.
Starting point is 01:20:58 Who? Let me stop if I give Chris a goddamn heart attack. We're going through it right now, man. Let's pay some bills. Wait, before that. Hopefully he pulls in Obama. What's pulling Obama? Where he had the House and the Senate and didn't do nothing? You don't know Trump.
Starting point is 01:21:18 I'm just hoping. You know what he's just saying? This guy is crazy. Maybe. No. Let's take some bills. Pace and bills. I don't ask you a idiot, Taylor.
Starting point is 01:21:31 I got a fan. I got a family, yo. I got a family. I got a family, yo. God, damn. I got a family, yo. I got a family, yo. She just fired one at you just to let you know she's back in office. Yeah, but I got a family, yo. Shout out the Kodak Black and Kassan. I haven't watched this scream yet I am. I need to watch it. Kassan I don't know what the hell going on. You said, you don't suck for me. I said, no, no.
Starting point is 01:22:02 You said, what is this called for him again? You said what kind of theme song it is? This is this is going to be I guarantee it's going to be a hit single. He said, what's up
Starting point is 01:22:14 for me? I said, No, no, no, No. He just was doing a live performance of it.
Starting point is 01:22:21 We don't understand it now. Wait till we hear it later, what it's done. You give him so much Craig. Kodak hard.
Starting point is 01:22:28 Y'all You don't go anywhere. I love that dick. I'm a hundred. Yeah. God's not fear for bite them.
Starting point is 01:22:36 Guys are not being for it. Come on, Taylor. I have the cops not at Kodak. Let's pay some bills to do some asking idiots. I don't know. Two of my favorite youngers to watch. Watch.
Starting point is 01:22:50 Kodak, when that drop is going to be a hit song. Watch. I'm P. I'll be right back. He says the celibacy. I think we need to be worried for Kodak. I think we need to be worried for Kodak. I can see that.
Starting point is 01:23:00 All the people around him, just let him do whatever he was. He was spying the back saying that he wasn't. He says he was on perks. He saw, you know, he's on probate. He just admitted to being on person and he's on probation. I took one perk and y'all fucking tripp. Like, that's crazy. Yeah, you ain't wrong.
Starting point is 01:23:16 But we just laughing it. This is like Kanye. I'm not laughing. He was in front of everybody and we all just kick in to him. I want him to get the help he needs. I want everybody to do right. That is the theme of the podcast. Yes, well, we shouldn't be laughing at this.
Starting point is 01:23:28 I didn't be concerned. Yes, you were. I like the song. Yes, but we should be concerned. That's a celibacy answer. Get him help. The man says, she want to suck it. And I said, no, no, no, no, no.
Starting point is 01:23:37 You see you laugh. You want this dick out there? No, no, no, no. Why y'all mad at that man for practicing celibacy, man? Yeah, I want him to. He's born to be out of his fiending for cock. He said, no, no, no, no. Shout out to yak.
Starting point is 01:23:52 Are you one of those media strategy people clicking through slides, scrolling spreadsheets? Yes? Good. This is for you. Because on Spotify, there's an audience that's different. Locked in. Loyal, invested. They're called fans.
Starting point is 01:24:06 Fans don't just listen to music. they feel seen by it like it belongs to them. So when your brand shows up on Spotify, that's who you're talking to. And you're right next to artists like me, Lizzo. So, are you ready to talk to fans? Spotify advertising. You're among fans. Asking idiots tailor gang so you can get home to Roger from Rawway who lives in a rowhouse
Starting point is 01:24:29 and drives a Range Rover and voted Republican. He's coming to rough. No, he did not. He actually respects women's rights. That's the only one you denied it, it's just a Republican. I didn't, the first time I was talking about. Roger from Rawaway. I literally just said that's not his name.
Starting point is 01:24:46 Roger from Rawley. Roger Rainer lives in a row house and he respects women's rights. You, when is this book, can't ask you a question. When is this book coming out? Roger from Rawley. No, this little kid that you're making. That's what it's called. Roger from Rawley.
Starting point is 01:25:02 Let's do some asking idiots, Taylor, gang. Taylor got a boo. Taylor really in love. That's crazy. Gray Day 19 says, if you were gay for a day, what would be the first thing you do? What kind of gay?
Starting point is 01:25:17 Am I, normal gay guy? Yeah, normal gay. If I were gay for a day, the first thing I would do the same thing I do every day, which is get on my knees to pray. What? What?
Starting point is 01:25:32 That is the first thing I do when I wake up in the morning. I get on my knees. I needed to pray. That wouldn't change because I'm... I don't know. I'd probably call some woman a bitch and she can't say nothing about it
Starting point is 01:25:43 but be happy. Wow. It's progressive, yeah. I thought the first thing you'd do and left the F word for a lot. Oh, wow, I didn't even think about that. That's just, congratulations. But gay guys could do that.
Starting point is 01:25:54 They don't call each other that, though. They don't know. Yes, they do. Yes, bitch. That's the ones I know. Yes, bitch. You don't have any gay friends? No, they say, I do.
Starting point is 01:26:03 I don't know any of them that, like, be like, hey, what's up? Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, you're right. Yeah. This is a, this is a wild question, Jakee Hobbs. Jekihab says, who wins in the Civil War, East Coast or West Coast? Jake E-Hops. Who wins the Civil War, East Coast or West Coast?
Starting point is 01:26:19 Ooh. I'm going to say East Coast. Yeah, obviously. The East Coast got the South. East Coast got Pennsylvania. East Coast got people that got the guns. You know what I'm saying? East Coast got people that really believe in the...
Starting point is 01:26:30 You also got the money. They ain't got no money out there. It's about the guns, though. But they got the food. Wait, but. And food is important. Texas is like mid, right? Texas is like mid, right?
Starting point is 01:26:42 So who gets-Tex got to sit that shit out. Texas is, Texas got to sit that shit out. Texas, you got a chill, you're good. Yeah, but the East Coast got Florida. East Coast got South Carolina, North Carolina, all of Georgia, Virginia, Alabama, Tennessee. West Coast is California. They don't really want to fuck.
Starting point is 01:26:58 Who in California wants to hit a butt? Nah, bro. West Coast is California. Like, think about California, Washington Oregon Now Arizona's down the West Coast We're just talking about
Starting point is 01:27:12 Who's on the actual shore Oh that's touching the coast Got to touch the water Oh okay We're fucking them up Oh yeah we got We are fucking them up If long as the East Coast got to south
Starting point is 01:27:23 East Coast Even if they don't have the South Nah Come on y'all Y'all ain't really a gun state So who Upstate maybe Let me take you the parts of Manhattan
Starting point is 01:27:37 You never even fucking seen Oh you know It's much easier to get a gun now in New York Yeah It's been for like the last three years I know They sued New York for I remember that
Starting point is 01:27:49 But it's still got the gun laws though Yeah You still get three and a half years If you can call it an illegal gun Illegal but I'm saying Now it's much easier to get a legal one Daniel scales one If y'all had to pick one pro athlete
Starting point is 01:28:02 To represent this country Who would y'all elect? One pro athletes represent this country. Who would we elect? Who was the senator from the Falcons that got fondled by the referee? DeKambe and Matamba. He's no longer with us. Oh.
Starting point is 01:28:17 And he's not from this country. Oh, he's from the Hawks. Uh. If you had to pick one pro athlete to represent this country, I mean, we do that, right? The Olympics does that. Probably LeBron. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:28:34 I mean, like, are they active or retired? Ooh, that's a good question. If they were, I still would pick Braun. My mind went to Brady for a second, but I still would pick Braun because basketball is a worldwide sport. Yeah, I mean, I would pick Jordan, but yeah, I hear you. Jordan's another one.
Starting point is 01:28:56 Who, damn, I want to talk. Tom Brady got to be known around the world, right? Yeah. Gotta be, right? Yeah. Let's scroll up, Taylor. What else we got? Let's see what else we got.
Starting point is 01:29:06 I'll go to Jalen Brown. You would do Jalen Brown right now? Yeah. He's like, He's real progressive. Stuff wouldn't be bad. Scroll up some more, Taylor? Scroll up some more, Taylor.
Starting point is 01:29:21 Justin Longlegs. Ooh, this is a good one. Yeah, let's do Korea. It's a bunch of Trump stuff. Okay. Justin Long Legs, what should we do if Trump does go buck wild as a country? If Trump goes
Starting point is 01:29:36 buck wild as a country. What should we do if Trump does go buck wild as a country? What should we do is what do you're saying? I mean if he's violating the Constitution, if he's going against the rules of America, then we got to kick him out. Simple as that. But there's no guard rails for it. He's got all the power. January 6th. What you mean? Yeah, January 6th. Like, send somebody in there to go get him? You take him out? Like, pull him out to the White House? No, not take him out. That's illegal. I mean like pull him out. Like, pull him out of the White
Starting point is 01:30:06 But like the club, yeah, bro, if you act and rowdy in a club. Yeah, you always have to protect America. This is, we're not living in tyranny here. He's the president. He's the custodian, essentially, for America for the next four years. And then you need to make sure that he honors
Starting point is 01:30:21 the rules of America. Unless Americans decide to change the rules. Simple as that. If we decide to change the rules, then that's on us. We've done that throughout history. There's been plenty of things that we've changed. Yeah, I mean, we've kind of changed the rules already, just not legally. We changed the rules of what we're willing to accept from politicians, or at least presidents.
Starting point is 01:30:40 That, you know, this is such an interesting question, Justin, because this is what I was thinking about when I woke up this morning, man. Regardless of who was to win the election, we, the people, have to come together as a community. Yes. Because we have to learn how to be civil with each other. Like, I'm not about to argue with people over who they voted for. I'm not about to fight with people.
Starting point is 01:31:01 Like, I don't want to be walking down the street and see somebody in a make America a great again hat and be ice grilling them or they ice grilling me. Like, we don't need that. Like, nobody wants to, you don't want to walk outside with your wife and your daughter. Not at all right. And somebody's starting to smoke with you
Starting point is 01:31:15 because you were Trump supporter. You know what I'm saying? Like, we don't need any of that. And the only people that can control that is us. So we, the people as humans, regardless of what's going on in White House, whatever, regardless of what's going on in the government, we have to remain civil here.
Starting point is 01:31:31 There's a, I'm glad there was nothing that happened yesterday. I'm glad no political violence popped off. You know what I'm saying? I'm happy that it was a free and fair election. I'm happy that our democracy worked. My person didn't win. The person that I had an interest in didn't win, but I'm still happy that everything went the way it was supposed to go.
Starting point is 01:31:53 So that's why you see me say, I'm an American. I want the best for America. The only way we're going to get the best for America is if we, the people, act like civil society. individual. Even if these motherfuckers is wilding. To me, this is a civilized question from Justin Longley's. What should we do
Starting point is 01:32:11 if Trump does go buckwired as a country? No, we hold them accountable. We hold them accountable the Constitution and the laws of our country. And it'd be hard. Because if he says he's acting as in, what's it called? It's an official duty. Yeah, official duty. Then. What, I mean, I'm just answering the question. You're creating scenarios where I can't answer it.
Starting point is 01:32:33 So it's like, I don't know what to tell you. Like, now you're changing the question, too, what do we do if we do, but we can't do anything? It's like, well, I'm just telling you what we should do if he stops honoring the Constitution and stops honoring the laws of this country. And I think Americans, Americans at the end of the day, have the ability to share our feelings about the world and we're very passionate and we're very rebellious too. Like, it's in our DNA. Everybody who came here rebelled from something else, right? You come here. We're all sons of immigrants or sons of sons of sons of immigrants.
Starting point is 01:33:06 We've all left everything, right, to start something new. So the idea of having a rebel spirit is built into our DNA. Somebody trying to take that away from us or somebody trying to have some sort of tyrannical control over us, he will reject. And we will reject it unanimously. So I am not in any way concerned of the American people's reaction to tyranny. I can't. How can you say that when he already tried it and he got reelected?
Starting point is 01:33:33 Fred what? January 6th? January 6th. Oh, come on. There's no, come on. We still talking about that. I'm answering the question. I'm answering the question.
Starting point is 01:33:45 The answer is don't reelect him. That's the answer. Whoever your name is. Hey, he didn't need January 6th. You know, he needed November 5th. Yeah, yeah. He need November 5th. He's right.
Starting point is 01:33:57 What's right? He didn't need January 6. He need November 5th. I bet you Trump. That's the answer is a question. Don't reelect them. How about that? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:34:07 If you didn't fake the election last time, you and your cohorts. You know, so funny. I bet you Trump went home last night and Trump was like, do you mean, I didn't even have to do that shit. I didn't even have to, I didn't even have to have a protest.
Starting point is 01:34:18 What? What? Come on now, Christopher. Let's do one more. Let's do one more, Taylor. Let's go up, Taylor. But yeah, let's just remember who we are, man. Yes.
Starting point is 01:34:28 As a fucking community. But I told, we told you all this last time. After the election. You still gonna have to go back and kick it with your people. I got friends that are Republicans. I got friends that are Democrats. I got friends that are the Democrats. I got friends that are independent. That's the thing.
Starting point is 01:34:41 Everybody got their own reasons for why they did what they did and voted for who they voted for. We still people. Like, you know what I'm saying? I mean, not to be like serious and corny here, but I do think that is one of the great things about this show. That it just, it proves that that is incredibly possible. Yeah. And there's no, like, love, loss or animosity between us.
Starting point is 01:35:02 Obviously, we joke around about these things. So we have these serious kind of discussions, but you would hope that that is how people would treat politics. I don't think that you're wrong for the reasons that you have supported Kamala. I believe that you believe that those are the best things for America. There are things that I'm supporting Trump for that I think are the best things for America.
Starting point is 01:35:26 It's just a difference of opinion. Once we get into that tribalism ship where it's like you're evil for what you believe or I'm evil for what I believe. That's when we lose our humanity. That's it. And we just sit around and wait for, and this is what you do as boys, right?
Starting point is 01:35:39 You just sit around and wait to be right. So you're sitting here gloating the whole time. I'm going to keep in real with you. I didn't know if we were going to wear this today. I'm going to grill with you. But you had it there just a day. Hey, hey, first of all, I didn't buy it that hat for me, but I'm just saying, I'm just saying, I didn't know.
Starting point is 01:36:00 I didn't know what was going to happen last. That's not what I went to sleep. I didn't know either. That's interesting because I was pretty sure Trump was going to win. Me too. Well, it's your fault, Chris. I was in here telling you that, you know, I thought Kamala had it, and you was the one putting the bad juju on it, okay?
Starting point is 01:36:13 I wish I had that power. You got what you wanted. You asked for it. You got what you asked for it. I always tell my kids, what you want to happen in life, constantly talk about. The things you don't want to happen, don't speak about at all. Every week, Trump's going to win. Trump's going to win.
Starting point is 01:36:27 Now look at you. Moping. Moping. You know what you want it. You got what you wanted. You got what you asked. who got what you prayed for. Okay?
Starting point is 01:36:34 Inshallah. Rub and boot his belly now. Yeah. How do I revert? I knew Trump was going to win last week. I went to a Yankees World Series game and there was multiple people with MAGA hats. Yup. The Yankee hat is the most iconic hat in history.
Starting point is 01:36:47 Nope. People wore MAGA hats to a Yankee. Yuck. Wasn't that the same weekend of the rally? And look at the garden? It might have been. But it wasn't the same day. You study Yankee World Series game and you wearing a MAGA hat?
Starting point is 01:36:58 It's fun. I knew Trump. People are done with the Democrat politics. I think there's a lot less, it's a lot less of support of Trump than it is, in my personal opinion, than it is a vote against Democrat policies. I think it's a perfect thumb. I think it's that. I think it's the economy. I think it's the immigration.
Starting point is 01:37:15 By the way, but all of that is considered Democrat policies right now. That's, and that is the problem. I mean, that's what motivated me. It's not like I'm looking at one man. I'm like, oh, my God, this man is about this. No, no, it is that he seems to support or reject these Democrat policies that I, at, this moment reject. Now, by rejecting them, could it get worse? Possibly. And then I go, ah, I fucked up. The Democrat policies were actually better. But there's only one way to find
