The Brilliant Idiots - Shoryuken Me Crazy

Episode Date: August 28, 2026

This week on Brilliant Idiots, Charlamagne Tha God and Andrew Schulz dig into the Sophie Cunningham/WNBA circus, from the record-breaking attendance numbers to Enes Kanter showing up to a game in a "d...efinition of woman" T-shirt and, of course, the ongoing saga of objects getting thrown onto the court. From there they go full conspiracy theorist on the Lakers sale, breaking down the Wall Street Journal reporting that ties Mark Walter's federal investigation to a suspiciously well-timed handoff to Josh Kushner's group. They also break down YouTube's new war chest to keep creators away from Netflix, before Andrew unloads a genuinely unhinged theory that Bruce Wayne... not the Joker, is Gotham's real villain. Plus: flock camera stalkers, sewer people in NYC, and the "Ask the Idiots" mailbag. ************************************ Sponsor Brilliant Idiots: https://public.liveread.io/media-kit/brilliant-idiots Jess Hilarious - Til Death Do We Parent - Pre Order 2Chainz - The Voice in my head is God - Pre Order The Black Family Who Built America - Cheryl McKissack Daniel -Order Link Uncommon Favor - Dawn Staley - Order Link Get Honest or Die Lying Why Small Talk Sucks- By Charlamagne Tha God - Order Link Check out Andrew Schulz - www.theandrewschulz.com Check out all the podcast on Charlamagne's "Black Effect Network" - https://blackeffect.com Checks out AlexxMedia AM Mornings Learn more about your ad choices. We are the brilliant idiots podcast back for another week of Brilliant Idiotness. Heather Kyle Walker. Hello, sir. How was your weekend, my brother? It was good.
Starting point is 00:00:56 Anything fun? It was good. I'm trying to think of anything specific. specifically fun from it. No, just spending time with the family, man. Bro, I went to the greatest league, the greatest sports league going the day. I went to a game fucking Saturday. I went to the Indiana fever.
Starting point is 00:01:13 New York Liberty game. You saw the goat. Who? Nathan Wilson wasn't on that court? No. Sabrina. No, I mean, obviously I'm talking about Sophie Cunningham. I like, listen, I like so far.
Starting point is 00:01:29 his game. Sophie reminds me a Bill Lambere, Dennis Rodman type. Yeah. Not as tough on defense as them, but the energy is what I'm saying. I'm not saying like he's not, those guys are defensive juggernauts, right? But the energy, that energy that a Bill Lambert had on the court, the energy that Dennis Rodman, I actually think Sophie kind of holding back a little bit now, though. Really? Yeah, I think she's kind of holding back a little bit. The internet got to her? I think the internet got there a little bit. I think so. Did they boo her? I heard they booed her. Not in a...
Starting point is 00:02:02 Here's the funny thing. There was protests outside of the Barclay Center, but there was... I guess you would call them like pro-women protests who are with Sophie and agree with her. And that crowd was larger than the anti... the anti-crowd.
Starting point is 00:02:20 The anti-what? I don't know. I'm about to say anti-trans, but it's not anti-trans. It's people that are pro-trans. Yeah, pro-trans. People that are pro-trans. The pro-trans in women's sports crowd. I don't even know if it's pro-trans than women's sports. Well, the way else would they protest? I think people are, I think people are conflating all of the issues, and they think that if you say you don't want trans women in sports,
Starting point is 00:02:40 then you're against trans. That's what I get from it. But I'm going to be honest with you. It's just such a silly conversation because it's not even a thing. It's not even a thing. But I'll tell you one thing. Boy, Sover Cunningham had a lot of goddamn people wearing jerseys Saturday night. He's doing New York City.
Starting point is 00:02:56 She's fighting for job security. I don't understand why it was this I sat next to all the whole family The whole family had on Sophie Cunningham jerseys And I'm like Is she related to them? No Like literally it was two kids
Starting point is 00:03:10 And like a mom All of them had Sophie Cunningham jerseys on And I tell you something else I saw Game was over Into the game And I couldn't be wrong I saw my girl Raven Johnson Sluutraven Johnson
Starting point is 00:03:21 That's why I even went to the game for The Support Raven And Sophie Cunningham And Aaliyah Boston another player came out for a field. I only remember seeing like four people's play. I could be wrong. I only remember seeing four.
Starting point is 00:03:33 And I saw Sophie being very kind to all her supporters. So my point is she's working this moment. Explain that. She's working the moment. Like she got the light on her. She got some attention on her for a lot of various reasons, right?
Starting point is 00:03:52 It's not just because of what the comments she made about the transgender. I think the point thing was what really shifted to pivot. Before that, it was when she took down Sheldon for Caitlin. She's the enforcer. You got to protect your star. When she took Sheldon down for Caitlin, that's when I think her star started to rise.
Starting point is 00:04:10 With that point shit early in this year, really did it. And then the transgender thing, of course, you know, got her the crowd that just wants to use it for political purposes. Question. How many dilly's thrown? None. I mean, now it's the brown dildo hitting the court. What?
Starting point is 00:04:31 You didn't see that big six-foot-ten Dildo? That big brown six-foot-ten-dil-dil-do? That big, that big brown six-foot-10 dildo. So what happened? Enis Cantor pulled up to the Indiana Feeva Chicago Sky Game and a shirt that said, a woman. It had the definition of woman on there. And to me, he just defeated his whole point that he's trying to make.
Starting point is 00:04:58 Explain it. Because if your point is, you know, you want to protect women's sports and you want to keep, you know, biological men from playing in women's sports. At some point, you have to say, if you have to manufacture a problem for it to be a problem, then it's not a problem.
Starting point is 00:05:15 Right. Because there's no men trying to play in the WNBA except for you. They're not men. Well, whatever the fuck. There's no, there's nobody born a biological man that wants to play in the WNBA except for you. Right.
Starting point is 00:05:29 And so for you to show up to the game. There's no way to Dildo hit the free throw. So it's not on the free throw line, is it? Yeah. While she's shooting the fucking free throw line, y'all. There's no way for it. They hit the fucking free throw line, yeah. They hit the free throw.
Starting point is 00:05:46 By the way, WNBA is cooking, bro. Oh, is it sold out? Like, bro, I got the stats right here. It's having its best season ever. 73 million unique viewers by the All-Star Breakboard and all the last season. and combined, 29 games with over a million viewers, compared to 11 all of last year,
Starting point is 00:06:05 up 16% in attendance league-wide, 19,783 people at the All-Star Game in Chicago outdrawing the NBA All-Star game for the first time ever. Wow. People are watching all this shit. All this shit is good for the league. If they had a fucking commissioner that could really bring all this shit together, it'd be incredible.
Starting point is 00:06:24 They got a fucking great product on the court, number one. The game's always fun to watch. Then you got all this drawing. drama, motherfuckers throwing green dildos. Right. You got Enos canter showing up to the games. They got the tallest Asians I've ever seen. What you're going to do now?
Starting point is 00:06:39 Yo, the Liberty has an Asian that's like 6-7, bro. Wow. Okay. You didn't see her? Her name is Han Yu. And every time she makes a basket, it sounds like they're going, Rau-Yil-R-Yol-Yol-Yol! They announce would be like,
Starting point is 00:07:00 Han Yelken. Oh, dukins. Perfect. Yo, look at, what's her name? Han Yu, right? How tall is Han Yu? 611. 611.
Starting point is 00:07:13 611. 7 footer around all the world. And she's Chinese. So they led Trans in already. All right. See what I'm saying? All right, Al. See what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:07:23 See what I'm saying? See what I'm saying? We're trying to be progressive. You see what the fuck I'm saying? I would try. That was just under. But why was that? Why was that?
Starting point is 00:07:29 Was that even necessary? That was completely pointless. Come on, okay. You wouldn't let her walk on your back? Oh, 100%. I mean, she's huge. It can ball. Play for the liberty.
Starting point is 00:07:43 Yeah. He played for the liberty. Han Yucin. Yo, every time she was stuck on. Yeah, bro. Han ain't playing. Oh, man. I like the WNBA.
Starting point is 00:07:54 I don't give a fuck what y'all say. We haven't said anything. I know. That's the problem. That's the problem. You're doing the evil cancer shit right now. You create a problem that doesn't exist. We're asking you about your experience in this place and you're getting defensive. I remember before.
Starting point is 00:08:12 I'm in the mad game. But I'm just saying yes. What about the All-Star game? No, no. Hold up. I didn't like that. Caitlin Clark, best player in the league obviously, right? No.
Starting point is 00:08:21 But like, she's the number one player in the league. Based on what? Skin color. Box office? What? Box office? Yes, she's box office, but she's not the best player in the league. Not even the top. Is she top five? Top five player in the league, top ten. She just dropped 37 last night.
Starting point is 00:08:39 Yeah, and Kelsey Mitchell, who's the best player on that team, had like 33, 34. You think she's not even the best player in her own team? I know she's not the best player on her own team. Kelsey Mitchell is the best player on the Indiana fever. Like, it's not even close. You know a lot of these players, bro. Watch the games. I'm being honest, I think you know more WMBA players than NBA players.
Starting point is 00:09:00 You're probably right because for the last at least five, six, seven years, the women got more of an identity than the guys. Listen, I started watching women's college basketball when Don Staley became, you know, the coach of the University of South Carolina Gamecocks. And I've been hooked ever since. So I've seen all of these, I've seen all of these women coming to college. The Caitlin's, the Angel Reese's. I saw when they first started. I remember when Andrew Reese played at Maryland. How much is Rock Nation?
Starting point is 00:09:27 Paying you to say this. Do they have a WMBA division? How much is they paying you to say this, bro? Rock Nation don't pay me to do nothing. I do it for the sport. That's what they don't understand. I do this shit because I like to do it. Charlamagne is compromised.
Starting point is 00:09:40 I do it because I like to do it. Guys, no. Listen, I see a lot of you out there saying, Charlamagne is compromised, bro. I just want to let you know that this is true love. No, true love. I'm not compromised. I do it for the sport.
Starting point is 00:09:54 What did you just pull up, Alex? Top five WMBA players right now. Asia Wilson, number one. Caitlin Clark, number two. Alisa Thomas number three. Angel Reese number four. What site is this? Where's the new one?
Starting point is 00:10:07 Where's the new girl? What's her face? Exactly. If Olivia Miles ain't in top five. Not in Olivia Miles, the white girl. Paige Beggers? Page. That's what I'm saying.
Starting point is 00:10:17 But by the way, you got to see Olivia Miles. Is part of this the fact that you have three, sorry, four daughters? No, this is what you do, Alice. Go to YouTube. Pull up Olivia Miles 30 seconds. Pull up Olivia Miles 30 seconds. Olivia Miles 30 seconds. This happened the other night.
Starting point is 00:10:41 Watch this sequence. This is a 30 second sequence at the start of the game. Let me see. Olivia Miles had the most insane 30. This sequence by Olivia Miles might be a bad. She's a rookie. Why are you doing that? Oh, you want me to do that?
Starting point is 00:10:56 Yeah, play a little. Oh, that's all right. Bring it back. Bring it back. Bring it back. Bring it back. Bring it back. Yeah, Miles might be the best sequence in WMBA history. Look at that. Nice little. Nice school. Steel. Buckets. So she already got a layup as you and another layup. And then on the other end, a couple seconds later, she snatched them. Nice deal.
Starting point is 00:11:17 Another steal went coast to goes and did this. What accent is found? Money. Oh. Okay. Too much of a bag. Nice little sis. She makes it look like she's put like she's put. playing against kids sometimes.
Starting point is 00:11:30 Like what she's doing as a rookie is ridiculous. She's a rookie. Number two pick in the draft. Nice finish. She got little kids dressing like her at the game, bro. The Afro and the Gossip. She knows exactly what she's going to do. Either deliver a beautiful assist or get her a spot and pull up.
Starting point is 00:11:48 Wow. Filthy. What? He's what they want Caitlin to be. Oh, that's nice. What you mean? She's what they want Caitlin to be. Your bro, Olivia dominates game, bro.
Starting point is 00:12:01 Why are you doing this, man? It's just the truth. But you don't got to hate Caitlin to love her. I don't hate Caitlin. Welcome to the fucking big leagues, young ladies, where you get compared to other players, okay? Where people are going to say this person's nice. The page is nice for than Caitlin.
Starting point is 00:12:17 You think? Easy. Easy. I don't know, man. I think... Easy. After having watched no games, I feel like Caitlin might be the best player in the league. After having watched zero games,
Starting point is 00:12:28 I really believed that. What is this you pulled up now? No, I just wanted to see the top 10 to see it. Top 10, what? Top 10 current players. Based off what? This is like AI overview or some shit. Stats.
Starting point is 00:12:39 Current stats. That can't be right. Go up. Let's see. Asia definitely number one dominating everything. We already know that. Best player in the fucking world. South Carolina all day.
Starting point is 00:12:49 Kelsey Mitchell. They got Caitlin at two. Kelsey at three. That makes no sense when Kelsey Mitchell is averaging 24 a game, 44% from 3. Yeah, but Caitlin's averaging 22.1. Caitlin's average 22 and 8. 22 and 8.
Starting point is 00:13:04 Because she got Kelsey. Pass me the ball, Pippet. Yeah, but you still got to pass the personal ball in a way that they can score it. Kelsey's much better than Caitlin. She's just, she's just much better. You got to watch the, if you watch the games, you'll see Kelsey Mitchell is just a dog.
Starting point is 00:13:18 She's just, and Caitlin's good. You can't talk about women like this. Dude, I've been doing this pod with you for long, for so long. So crazy, right? You can't refer to women as dogs, Charlemagne. Bro, there's a dog's on the court, all right?
Starting point is 00:13:31 Kelsey Mitchell's a dog. She gets busy, okay? We can't do this when it comes to basketball, yeah. All right, okay. Honestly, I thought that you've grown. You want me to call them cats? I thought that you, yes. Yo, you know what, Kelsey's a cat on the court.
Starting point is 00:13:44 Bam, right. No, I think that's a little bit better. You can't call them. Question though, why? You know, I do wonder, this from white people. Yeah. Why does this generation of white people, white WNBA players, rub people the wrong way, as opposed to the Diana Tarasis,
Starting point is 00:14:02 the Brianna Stewart's. They were much better, especially D.T., much better ball player than the Caitlin Clark. What do you mean rub people the wrong way? This generation of white people is Caitlin Clark, those Sophia Cunningham's, they're rubbing people the wrong way. Why? I don't know.
Starting point is 00:14:26 That's a great question. When you're like, why aren't they as celebrated as the past white players in the WCA? We've seen great white players before. I think. And Sophie's a good role player. Nobody cared before. Yeah. I think that's why.
Starting point is 00:14:39 And I think now with more people caring, like the fact that people are even comparing WMBA players, that's never happened in my life. Like there was never a time of my life where people were like, is Lisa Leslie better than Diana Tarasi? Nobody try to start that conversation. Not in a casual way. Never.
Starting point is 00:14:56 Yeah, yeah, yeah. There's nobody watching nothing to even say. Yeah, yeah, yeah. But you're someone who actually watches the game. way more of these players than you know NBA players. So it's like, I mean, as a gay guy, what do you think? Like, what is your opinion on it? The NBA players don't have personalities anymore.
Starting point is 00:15:13 You can't even name who came out in the draft this year. I can't. Who? Marcus Aurelius. Shut the fuck up, man. Shout out to the Sto's daily stoic. That's not true. You can't name one player that came out in the NBA this year.
Starting point is 00:15:28 That came into the league. Oh, wow. It's been like this for the last... You know more WMBA plays. It's been like that for the last few years. I know one rookie. Two rookies for the WMBA. You know what?
Starting point is 00:15:43 But that's also, there's an issue with that, which is like college basketball for men sucks now. Because of the one in Dunn shit. Exactly. In college, they stayed for three years, four years. So they build up these identities. They build up identities. They build up storylines.
Starting point is 00:15:58 Yeah, they're more marketable in that. In the NBA, we've got to, like, make sure that they can become stars and then most of them fizzle out. So now you have these guys that weren't even predicted as stars. Now, never make it. The NBA should change it. The NBA should change the age limit to enter the NBA now. It's tricky because it'll start to weaken the actual NBA product, yo. So now that-
Starting point is 00:16:22 You need stars, bro. You need more wimbies. You need more people coming into the league as rookies that people are excited about. Like, oh, shit. So here's the thing. It's like, now that the NIL deals work, you could probably get away with that. Yes.
Starting point is 00:16:37 Before the NIL deals, basically forcing a kid to not make generational wealth. You know what I mean? Like, that's a really tricky situation. See what I'm saying? But I do, look, two years? What do you think? Three years now.
Starting point is 00:16:51 I think two. Listen, skill-wise, this draft for the NBA probably was one of the best drafts ever. Skill-wise. NBA or the NBA? NBA. NBA. Like, who did you like in a?
Starting point is 00:16:59 draft. AJ Donopster, he went number one. Who's the dude that Chicago drafted that five? Pull that up, Alex. Pull up top five NBA draft picks 2026. Carlos Boozer's son. He went, I forgot, I think he was maybe number three. But AJ DeNopster is nice.
Starting point is 00:17:15 But that dude who the Bulls drafted, I can't even remember his fucking name. But I've been watching him in the summer leagues, Beeston. What's his name? All right, Wizards got AJ DeNobster. Jazz got Darren Peterson. Nice. Memphis, Grizzlies, Cameron, bulls. Khalid Wilson.
Starting point is 00:17:31 That's who it is. Caleb Wilson. Nice. Nice. But my point is, other than probably Cameron, bro, you're so right about this. There is no marketing for the future stars of the NBA that happened in college. You used to leave college a superstar.
Starting point is 00:17:49 Do you remember Jason Williams? Yes. At Duke? But that's why I know Cameron. Played for Duke. Sure, sure. It was in the tournament. Sure.
Starting point is 00:17:57 But, like, I'll be on. with you, not cutting through. And that's Carlos Boozer's son. Yeah. You got two of them. One's still at dude. That's right. You know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:18:06 Yeah. You got to keep these people in the league, I mean, in the college for at least two years. I mean, look, it's advantageous for the NBA because two ways. One, you get to build a star before it comes to the league. Two, players don't have to, sorry, teams don't have to cough up insane contracts. See what I'm saying? Off a gamble. You see what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:18:26 Oh, that's what I want to talk to you about. Now we're talking about sports. Talk to me. Have you heard this conversation about like should private equity be able to own sports franchises? Yes. What are your thoughts on it? I don't. I think capital is capital.
Starting point is 00:18:41 Like why can't private equity own sports franchises? Are you basing this off the Lakers? The Lakers, but I think they're like trying to buy on some other things. So just by now basically guys, like a private equity firm is a firm that will raise a bunch of money. And like the single goal for that firm is to get return on that investment for it. Yeah, if private equity can invest in anything else. They invest in everything. Movies, all types of shit.
Starting point is 00:18:59 Well, I hear that argument. I hear that argument. Okay, okay. And then the argument that they would make is they're incentivized to make the team better because if the team isn't better, then people don't want to go watch the team, and then they're not going to make any money. You never get to R.I. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:19:12 But because what they're doing is applying, like, the free market to sports franchises. I don't think sports franchises are the free market. I am a Knicks fan. I will only like the Knicks for my entire life. And I have only like the Knicks for my entire life. I've liked them when they're absolutely horrible. I like them when they're champions of the world. The market doesn't adjust.
Starting point is 00:19:36 The Knicks suck for decades. And we rock with them. We sold out that fucking arena every single night. So when you put private equity, right? Like the ideal version of an owner is like a Mark Cuban, like a benevolent fucking billionaire who's like, I'm just going to dump money into this because my ego is caught into making this team succeed. and I'm going to put more money than other people in
Starting point is 00:19:58 into every part of the team so that we can't get that championship. And then the worst owner is like the Clippers owner who's like, I'm not going to really pay people and this is just an investment. I'll hold on to it. But I don't think that you can just go, yeah, private equity is just like capital
Starting point is 00:20:13 and capital could go whatever he wants because it's not a free market. I'm never going to not be a Knicks fan. So I need to know who's in control of that team, that person, who's in control of that team, actually cares about satisfying himself, and winning, not just getting the most return for their best. The Knicks are a unique
Starting point is 00:20:29 a unique case, though. Because it's New York City, which is already the most expensive city in the fucking country. Right? And the fact that the Knicks do have a diehard fan base. That's going to show up and sell out this motherfucking arena all the time. Like, there's a lot more than New York than
Starting point is 00:20:46 let's say a Charlotte. Nobody's putting up with a whack Charlotte team. You know what I'm saying? But that's on Charlotte, though. It is. But if Charlotte's not winning, that means they can't put the butts in the seats. So now they got to make concessions. Now they got to make ticket prices cheaper.
Starting point is 00:21:02 You know what I'm saying? Now they got to make the merch and stuff cheaper. I would think they would have to adjust to the market. New York always adjust to the market. Meaning like, oh, they still coming? They still spending? Oh, put the prices up even more. You know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:21:16 They're still a garden at the end of the day. Yeah, I just think that like a sports franchise is not, it's not the same as like a regular asset. Like for example, if the team needs a new arena, the taxpayers pay for it. That's unbelievable. So like, first of all, I disagree with that. I completely disagree.
Starting point is 00:21:35 Second of all, I think because of that reason alone, you shouldn't be able to take a franchise and move it to another state. I think that should be illegal. Ooh. And if you do do that, you have to pay back the taxpayers, the investment that they put in the team. Because we're paying all this money
Starting point is 00:21:50 so that you can have this beautiful arena so that you guys can play in, you get the equity increase of the team playing in that beautiful arena. Maybe being able to attract other stars. People want to be part of this amazing franchise that we have put our harder money into. But we're not treated as investors.
Starting point is 00:22:06 It would be interesting if these teams had some type of residence tax almost to where, like, there's a fee that is paid that, like, that arena has to give back to, like, local communities. I think we should... Our local organizations or something? I think if we supply the money for the arena,
Starting point is 00:22:27 if the taxpayers, we should get equity, the tax base, get equity in the team. What would that look like, though, for a whole city? So what I would say is, like,
Starting point is 00:22:37 again, I know, I'm financially illiterate, so, like, don't take my word on this, but more like, if there is a sale of the team, the equity base that we have in that sale goes to the city budget
Starting point is 00:22:48 or the state budget, whatever it is, and then we get to disperse that, capital. I'm not mad at that. But what I'm saying, I think that some of these teams should have to allocate certain amounts of money every year to certain different community organization. I mean, if we paid for your fucking arena, you better believe you should kick back. I think they would argue that, oh, we're providing jobs for people in the area. And I would say you're not providing jobs. We're providing jobs. We're providing jobs. We're providing
Starting point is 00:23:12 jobs. Because we're paying for the arena there. If taxpayers are paying for the arena, yes. I hate when people all do that shit, they're like, we're providing jobs. Who's we? Yeah. I'm part of that. I'm part of the week. I'm part of the reason you can afford to pay these motherfucking. Now, if there are some teams that they want to build their own arena or they raise private funds to build their own arena, okay, that's on you. If you want to move the team, I guess you could. I would actually make a rule where there was like a penalty to move a team.
Starting point is 00:23:37 What's the debate against private capital? Because I would think that all of these guys, if they don't have their own wealth, they're going to get private capital. The debate is like, like, we've seen before, and a lot of people make this complaint now, which is like, let's say there's like a tequila brand. It gets really popular. Private equity comes in, buys the tequila brand. Then they switch the ingredients to make the ingredients cheaper, and they're not using real agave. They're using just regular sugar or whatever.
Starting point is 00:24:00 Now the quality of the tequila goes down, and they don't mind selling it because it's already this big successful thing that you're going to buy at the restaurant. Tequila, whatever, we don't really care about that. You can go to another tequila. I can't go to another team. So what are you going to do?
Starting point is 00:24:14 How are you going to, like, hollow out that franchise financially, so that you can make a huge return for your investors? Or if your private equity, you go, we're not going to invest any money in this team. All sports franchises rise as long as the league does better. And in 10 years, we're just going to sell it for more without investing any money in it. And then our investors get all this money. You should get James Dolan on Flagrin. Because you should ask him what made him finally start investing into the next way that he should.
Starting point is 00:24:41 Well, I mean, if you look at the Mello. Seriously. You look at the Mello deal they invested in it. You look at, bro, not only Mello, what's it called? You know why I didn't like the Mello deal? I can't believe I'm blanking on the... Phil! Phil got like $25 million or something like that to coach the team.
Starting point is 00:24:58 We were spending... Or to be the GM or whatever, the president of basketball operations. The Mellow deal was fucked up because all he had to do was wait for Mello to be a free agent. Sign Mello and Free Agency. They gave away too many assets that could have fucking potentially made them be a championship team. Yeah, but like, listen, I'm not trying to... I'm not trying to cap, right, for decisions that were made in the past. we want to win every single time.
Starting point is 00:25:21 But the other argument is like, hindsight is 2020. We gave up five picks for McKell Bridges. If the Knicks lose, everybody's going, why the fuck do we give five picks? The Knicks won. Everybody's like, those picks are worthless. Who gives the fuck about those picks? What all they had to do is wait a half a season?
Starting point is 00:25:37 What if Denver trades him before that? He wanted to come to New York. He wanted to come to New York. It's not up to Mello. What if Denver trades him before that? I don't got a sign if I'm Mello. You trade me. I still don't got a sign with this other team.
Starting point is 00:25:47 So they might just have to keep you for the end of the season? That's it. And I go to New York and free agency. I mean, like you say, hindsight is 2020, but I just never understood that. That would have been the smart decision. But maybe they thought that this year was the year that they could actually do it.
Starting point is 00:26:00 I don't know. I would love to have a conversation with him and just ask him, when did you realize I got a starting? And it's funny that you, because I remember when they won, he goes, sorry it took this long. It won't take this long next time. But I want to say something to New York.
Starting point is 00:26:17 Hey, New York. I'm sorry it took so long. But here we are, and hopefully it won't take that long again. And I wonder what's the mindset. Like, what's the mindset that makes you finally just start investing over the last couple of years? And by the way, did they really invest? Let's keep it real. Let's keep it very real.
Starting point is 00:26:37 Nobody outside of New Yorkers thought that the Knicks had a chance. Nobody. You should, you can narrow it down again. Nobody outside of the Brunson family. Okay. Nobody y'all starting to brunch and family. The Yorkers were delusioned. Then they got a couple of the people in the organization on board.
Starting point is 00:26:56 Like, I think this guy really. No, the Yorkers were delusion. Worldwide West. Shout out to West. Yo, shout out to West. But I thought y'all's going to win it every year. I really do one. But that's our problem.
Starting point is 00:27:05 The delusional optimism that it takes to live in the city and succeed in this city, we then apply to our sports franchises. And then we believe every single year they're going to win. And then we got some fucking guy from Italy running point, Rijioni or whatever. for this guy. He got some guy who was 47 years old with no birth certificate from Italy, running a point.
Starting point is 00:27:22 And all of us were like, nah, this is going to be the year. Brigioni's going to play. No, Lynn Sandini is the one that makes up with mine. There's people already talking to repeat before we even got the second. Gangs. I don't have a problem with it. That's fine. Next year, the confidence is going to be through the roof for them.
Starting point is 00:27:36 And, like, they're going to be out of control. Because who we really got to worry about? We know we could beat San Antonio. That's easy. That was light work. We know we could beat San Antonio. And Antonio will be going to be good next year, though. Yeah, but we beat them in a way where, like, you'll, you can never recover psychologically from that.
Starting point is 00:27:53 Like, what we did to them was, was honestly, it was, it was molestation. Like, it was, it was something that will give you trauma for the rest of your life. Damn. That game, game four. Neil Sporter on the brim? All of it. Game four is you can never recover psychologically from that. You'll never feel safe with the lead against us or maybe any other team again.
Starting point is 00:28:17 Ooh. Yeah, it's PTSD. It's funny because I've heard stories about, like, Stan Antonio Spurs players, they don't even like to high five anymore. Why, how do they, were they low five? They don't even like to do it. They get offended. No more five, like, no more five.
Starting point is 00:28:32 They get offended. That's what I heard. They get offended, yo, like, yo, fuck you're trying to be funny? Yeah. You know what I mean? I mean, yeah, we are. Like, what the fuck? They walk up to women and be like, high five.
Starting point is 00:28:44 What the fuck else am I supposed to do? You're seven foot fucking six, bro. Yeah, yeah, you got to take that. This episode has been brought to you by Blue Chew, man. Starting point is 00:31:09 I mean, like, when you're a comedian doing it or when you're... Now, the Knicks. Like, when the Knicks play... So when the Knicks are playing, like, the Knicks are owned by the person who also owns the Madison Square Garden. Okay. So naturally. So Dolan.
Starting point is 00:31:21 You dolin or that goes back to that group. If it, let's say private equity got involved, can they like start cheapen the quality of the food or raise food and drink prices? No, because like you're only going to do that when they're doing a Nix game and not when there's like an aria grande concert. Yeah. I mean, maybe they could potentially do that.
Starting point is 00:31:40 They could look into all the things for sure. Y'all don't get pieces of the concession, right? When you do comedy? I didn't. But there might be somebody that like, you know, in their contract, they go, hey, I want a piece of everything going on. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:31:52 It make a lot of money. But also doing the garden is such a, like, everybody knows this is something you want to do, so they have all the leverage. When you're doing an arena in some, like, random city, you probably can put a little more pressure on the deal and get a piece of everything.
Starting point is 00:32:06 I don't have a problem with private capital, yo. Private equity. Private equity. None whatsoever. No, whether you have a problem or not, you mean you're saying in sports, Period. It's money. It's private equity. Like, go. I thought, by being honest, I'm shocked that a team has never been bought because of private equity has to be. Are the goals aligned?
Starting point is 00:32:28 That's the tricky thing. Are the goals aligned? If you want to ROI, I would think so. Like, I don't even know if we should let people not from America buy a team. Ooh. Wow. That's interesting. I mean, yeah. But I'm down with us buying all their teams. I'm 100% down with us buying every single one of their teams. I'm 100% down with us on every single one of their teams, but like, I don't know. Owning a team is very specific, right? Like, you have to want to do that. Like, you have to want to be in their business.
Starting point is 00:32:55 That's what we hope. That's what we hope. You know, like, most of these teams don't make money. No, no. They make money when they sell. Like, naturally, the asset goes up over years of years. But, like, they're not making money day to day. There's a handful of teams in the league to make money,
Starting point is 00:33:07 and the players are probably making more money than the whole team itself. I mean, listen, you know why the Lakers sold, right? Yeah, because my man was giving him. what's it called? What was he doing? He was like, can you I break that down? Because I still don't.
Starting point is 00:33:24 My buddy tried to break it down to me. It was way too smart for me. But it was something like he had affiliate businesses that he was selling things from his other businesses too. Is that the breakdown? Yo, man. Mark Walter, majority owner, moved to sell his stake after coming under federal investigation
Starting point is 00:33:44 regarding undisclosed loans and investment tied to his insurance companies, creating an urgent need to liquidate major assets to sell to buyers. Josh Kushner, Jared Kushner's brother, and Bob Iger capitalizes on a rapid $2.5 billion value increase in just over a year shooting the team's worth
Starting point is 00:34:01 up to $12.5 billion from the $10 billion. It was valued at when Walter initially bought in. Don't be surprised if that investigation just goes away. Ooh. Because of the connection. Of course. Well, to me, it's like...
Starting point is 00:34:15 No, but isn't it? beneficial for them to have that investigation? The investigation got nothing to forcing that guy to sell. Yeah, the investigations was forcing a sale. Yeah. So the investigation won't go away. They want the investigation.
Starting point is 00:34:28 Maybe if that's part of it. You want this investigation to go away, buddy? Sell the team? Yeah. Well, he doesn't have a choice whether sell a team or not. And he's selling a portion of his soccer team. Yeah, because he owes like $20 billion.
Starting point is 00:34:40 Hold on. Let me pull up the other part of the store. Yeah. That would help. I want to get a quick. He owes $20 billion? Something in. And it's like coming due.
Starting point is 00:34:49 Like he owes $2 billion in a month and like $20 billion in the near future. What happened when billionaires just used to kill himself and shit like that used to happen. Joe. You don't remember that? Not too late. I'm just saying.
Starting point is 00:35:02 Like, oh shit, this just came out. It was just a rumor. That he's selling the Dodgers. He might sell the Dodgers now. Oh, you got to sell it all. You got to sell it all. How can a empire? Like, how can you build up?
Starting point is 00:35:16 These motherfuckers are greedy, bro. Like, that's what I was saying before. Like, how can you build up that much money on a house of cards like this where it could just like collapse this? Is it a house of, was it a house of cards though? The fact that he's being forced to sell his teams is crazy. It's never enough, man. It's never enough.
Starting point is 00:35:34 Yeah. So you keep stretching yourself then and then different things happen economically. Rates change. And, uh... I'm trying to find the fucking article, man. Hold on. I didn't have this one. chewed up on my phone.
Starting point is 00:35:49 Hold on. Mark Walter sold Lakers. So according to the Wall Street Journal, investigators are examining complicated transactions involving insurance companies, Walter Walter controls lending money into affiliated
Starting point is 00:36:02 businesses. Yes. So roughly 20 billion in loans allegedly weren't disclosed to Delaware insurance regulators. No criminal charges have been filed against Walter. So this is an investigation, not finding that he committed fraud. It says an urgent need for liquidity. Yeah, because I guess those loans are come and due.
Starting point is 00:36:22 Yeah. Hold on. There was another angle. Hold on, guys. What's that? Hold on, real quick. I don't want to say it until I say it. Hold on. Yes. Okay. So there's a Trump angle. Mark Walter is being investigated by federal prosecutors in the SEC. Those investigations are occurring under the Trump administration. Walter then abruptly sells the legates to a group led by Josh Kushner. Jared Kushney's younger brother, Jared, of course, is President Trump's son-in-law.
Starting point is 00:36:53 The sequences led to speculation that Walter could have felt pressure to sell to someone connected to the Trump-Kushner orbit. Forbes specifically reported that the transaction that spawned theories of a possible quid pro quo. Because of the timing of the investigation and sale, Yahoo has reported the same theory and noticed that the White House denies any involvement. So you're saying that they put the investigation out there. so that it could force the sale? Maybe. That would make sense. I mean, here's the real question.
Starting point is 00:37:24 Yeah, it says federal investigators and screwing out of complicated transactions involving insurers. How are they going to recoup $12.5 billion? That's what I'd be saying. Talk about it. Thinkers don't make this money.
Starting point is 00:37:34 It's like... Remember when we had this conversation a few weeks ago? Tell me. Remember when I was telling you about I had the opportunity to invest in a franchise? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:37:41 And I was just like, these numbers don't even make no sense. How do you make these numbers back in the long run? And this year, is supposed to come in at like $6, $7 billion. Who is going to have that to buy in the future? How?
Starting point is 00:37:56 And I know everybody's saying, where the Lakers just sold for $12.5, you know, but they just sold for $10. I mean, yeah, 10 months later, he's going to make $2.5 billion. But I'm trying to find how much Lakers make a year in profit. It ain't that, bro. You got to hold on to that team for a long time.
Starting point is 00:38:14 Well, that's the thing. These things will never going to, I mean, they make $170, million an annual profit. And you get to write off all this shit. So these like billionaires write off the losses against their other businesses. This is out of my price rate. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:38:27 Me too. I can't even. I'm seeing we're economically illiterate. Yeah, we're sitting there having a conversation that I can't even discuss. I don't even know why it's beneficial. I get it, I guess. I mean, you're just holding a fixed asset, a controlled asset, right? Like they're not really making more franchises.
Starting point is 00:38:44 So these things as the sport gets more popular, automatically grow it. It's not a free market. That's another thing. You can't just, it's not a free market so we can't apply free market economics to it. You can't just make a new sports franchise. If the Knicks suck, I can't just make another New York team and put it up in New York. The NBA won't accept it. The other team owners won't accept it. So it's not, it's not a monopoly, but you have almost a monopoly on the franchise within your city. That's why fuck these dicks. invest in the WNBA, bro. WNBA got like five or six new franchises coming.
Starting point is 00:39:19 You think it's a game. Who's who? Ooh. Oh, I get why you're all about this shit. You bet in your book. I've been like this for five, six years. Y'all know this. I've been talking about women's basketball.
Starting point is 00:39:32 Which franchise you invest in? I don't know yet. You probably won't throwing a dildos. You know what is doing in the ratings. This guy's the most diabolical marketing genius I ever met in my life. He got a whole dildo factory in Cambodia, taking the green joints just to get chucked on those fucking centercourt. This shit is bright, okay?
Starting point is 00:39:51 They hit the floor. Everybody notices them immediately, okay? All right? They threw a brown one and he called him immediately. He's like, I need something shiny. We're doing the pro pro pro for the playoffs. Nice. That's why he's always shouting out now studs.
Starting point is 00:40:07 Yo. Shout out to the stud bunch. No, for real. All jokes aside, if I was the invest in a franchise, I would invest in the WMBA. WNBA got a Houston's got a franchise coming, Philly's got a franchise coming. I think Detroit's got a franchise coming.
Starting point is 00:40:22 Who else? I hope Charlotte gets one. Charlotte gets one. I'm definitely going to be all in. Yeah. I mean, I'm going to ask. I don't know if they'll let me be a part of it. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:40:31 I'm going to ask. Shout out to the WMBA though, man. Best League in the world right now. They're killing it? Yes. What else we got, Alex Media? So this is Taylor's list? I don't know what any...
Starting point is 00:40:43 Yo, what's the... No, no, no, no. Fuck all that, New Yorkers. What's up with this sewer shit, yo? Tell me. I don't know. I'm asking y'all. You tell me.
Starting point is 00:40:50 I don't fucking know. Why are people crawling out of the sewers and they're not Ninja Turtles? Several people climbing out of a manhole near Penn Station. Video posted to social media shows people in overalls. And what appears to be headlamps emerge from the manhole. Those are actual moment. This happened back on Tuesday.
Starting point is 00:41:08 About 4 o'clock in the morning. The NYPD says it is. Is aware of this video, the Department of Environmental Protection inspected the sewer system. What's going on? What movie are they promoting? This video follows similar underground sightings in Brooklyn and Queens earlier this year. It's unclear whether all three incidents are connected. Shocking new video.
Starting point is 00:41:32 Come on, man. I'll be honest, I'm shocked more people don't go down there. Like, you can just lift open those manholes. I thought you needed a key or something like that. You know, you're just, they're heavy, but you go just let them up. Yeah. Go down there for what? This is New York, bro.
Starting point is 00:41:47 Rent is high, man. This is the thing. This is the thing, bro. You know where the rent is always frozen? Underground. You don't need to worry about an increase of rent when you live with the Ninja Turtles and Splinter and all the other, you know, foot soldiers or whatever the fuck it is. This is normal for New York.
Starting point is 00:42:04 No, it's not. And the fact that nobody's asking any question. This is how you know New York is a weird place, right? And one of the only places on the planet where this shit is just a fucking quick little story. Hey, man, there's people climbing out of manholes. Hey, man. We got more shit to worry about it. No, we need to know what the fuck is going on.
Starting point is 00:42:23 What do you think it is? Bro, I don't know because they dress like mold men. I thought I knew. They do have a specific outfit. They got a specific outfit. Because before, you know what I said? They had another specific idea. That's what I'm saying.
Starting point is 00:42:39 And I understood that. I was like, okay. What did you understand about that one? I was just listening to Dove. Dove, Dove. Just throwing it on the shit. No, no, no, Dove made me understand. Dove was trying to explain it to me.
Starting point is 00:42:53 And I was like, you know what? What do you explain? What do you explain? Like, Dove, I don't even know what's got. Dove, I get it. What do you explain? Listen, I don't need to do it. Like I said, Dove.
Starting point is 00:43:01 Why is this happening? He was like, look, Palestine. I said, yo. Yo, yo, yo, yo. They got tunnels. I'm like, I get it. Cool. You know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:43:10 This, I don't understand. And they're dressed like mold men, bro. Yeah. That don't make no fucking sense to me. Well, maybe they had to switch up the outfits because it was, you know, exposing them. They're like, listen, if we wear the hats and everything that they're going to notice us. We got dressed like minions. If we dress like minions, nobody will know who the fuck it is.
Starting point is 00:43:29 You know what else pisses me off about this? How the fuck they don't know who these people are? What happened to all this facial recognition and all this shit with the pole to have? You know what I mean? What the fuck is going on? Everybody's talking about how much of a horrible thing these flat cameras are. Have they flat cameras are? anybody, flock or whatever?
Starting point is 00:43:44 Have they caught anybody yet? How do we know they even working? No, how they work? Yeah. I just read a story. I read a story with this guy, this former police officer was keeping tabs on his ex-wife.
Starting point is 00:43:57 Using a flock camera. Yes. And said he called her in like 725 times in the span of a year and a half. And we're saying this is a bad idea. What you mean? What you mean? We're against this?
Starting point is 00:44:13 I mean, you can't do that. You don't want to be under constant surveillance, do you? You never had an ex-wife. If she's my ex, I don't give a fuck what she's at. He said he cared about the kids, though. He wanted to know where the kids was at. I don't believe that. You wanted to know about that pussy.
Starting point is 00:44:27 Pull that up. That's what it is. That's what it is. He wanted to know where his ex-wife was, who his ex-wife was out here sleeping with. Yeah. Pull that up. Pull that up, Alex. I mean, you got to have some good pussy if you've gone to the flock camera registry.
Starting point is 00:44:40 God, damn. Don't say it like. That. Flack? Flock or flak? Flock? I thought it's flock. It's not flock. Flock? It's flok. Yeah. Oh, see, no, no, it was one in general. Was it the Florida one? Yes, Christopher Goodson. He was arrested after an internal investigation revealed. He searched his a strange ex-wife's license plate 717 times over a two-year period. It's only 365 days in the year. Gutson claimed he was monitoring his children, but he was ultimately charged with official misconduct and computer crimes. Same thing here. Officer Sergio Rodriguez was fired and indicted in Fort Bend County on charges of stalking and misuse of public information. Internal affair documents revealed he used the flock camera network more than 2,300 times to stalk his ex-partner. I don't, ah, no. When it's over, it's over, bro.
Starting point is 00:45:37 Let it go. Let it go. Go down one more because there's a girl. I want to see what she was using for. Same thing. Officer Elizabeth Snowman was arrested and jailed after a commanding officer's audit caught her using flock cameras to track her boyfriend's ex-wife. Why the fuck do you care about what your boyfriend's ex-wife is doing?
Starting point is 00:45:57 No why. Here's the other one. Same thing. Former Officer Jose Alea Ayala was sentenced to one year of probation after pleading guilty to misusing the Milwaukee Police Department's flock system database to track his ex-girlfriend and her partner more than 170 times. But you know Latinos can't help them. You know that that's in the DNA.
Starting point is 00:46:18 There's a jealousy in the DNA. You can't give a match to the clock. Damn shit, we did name two Latinos. Yeah. God damn. Sergio Rodriguez and fucking Jose Alea. I'mma just assume Elizabeth Snowman is white because it's snowman. Christopher Goodson is definitely white.
Starting point is 00:46:34 My point is, when the person is gone, they're gone. You don't got to put them on the surveillance. bruh, for what? No, you're right. Why would you even want to do that to yourself? That's the right logical thing, but I'm not saying that we don't all do it. But why?
Starting point is 00:46:46 We don't. Why would you want to do that to yourself? Why would you torture yourself like that? People do it on Instagram, people doing these other things. They shouldn't be able to do it on this. Block me for my own good. Yeah, that's true. I don't want you to see me over here popping this pung-pong-pong for a goon.
Starting point is 00:47:00 Okay? But they do want you to see that, man. I don't. They were probably running around looking for flock cameras to twirking for them. God damn. Just why would you want to do that to somebody, man? Let that shit go. Let it go.
Starting point is 00:47:16 Let it go. I ain't stalking nobody, yo. We break up, we break up. That is what it is. Yeah, fair enough. What else we got, Alex Media? What is running trains? What's running trains?
Starting point is 00:47:30 Ooh. What? I don't want to see running trains. Oh, man, what the fuck, man? Oh, you know, I saw this. Alaris sent me this earlier. This only works on YouTube. They can't see what we're watching right now.
Starting point is 00:47:46 Watch this last guy. Oh, that's why Taylor sent that. Because I said they all got to be running a train on that guy. Now, if you don't... Come on. No, this video is a bunch of paraplegics, right? That's what you call them? Not just me.
Starting point is 00:48:05 I think there are a bunch of disabled people, not paraphical. half a leg. This one's missing half a leg. She has no legs. Another one has no leg and half an arm. And then here comes the happiest man in America, boy. This ain't America. You don't think that's America? Nah. They're doing an American TikTok challenge. They're playing every time the beat drops. They got music everywhere, but this feels third world. That last part should be the TikTok challenge. That dance he was doing, bro. Yeah. If you have to. If you have to, If you have feet, you know, he clapped your hands. If you have feet and you know it.
Starting point is 00:48:45 If you have feet and you know it, then you ain't a bright start. If you're happy and you clap your hand. He took one of them fucking neural energy and focuses. He took like nine of them shit. He took like, listen, homie took like nine of these, bro. Nine of these neuro, sour apple energy and focus mix. And he lost his fucking mind, bro. You know why?
Starting point is 00:49:09 they all go into the bedroom. That's what they're all going. Oh, one-hundred. They all go into the bedroom right now. And he got enough energy for all. Oh, he's going to knock them all down. Yeah, for sure. Oh, he's happy.

We are focusing on nothing but solutions, pathways to healing. So we'll see you in Newark, New Jersey on 10, 10, okay. Mental Health Day.
Starting point is 00:53:42 Yeah, join us, man. You know, I love the city of Newark, so we'll see you there. Go to Mental HealthExpo.com to register to be there. Heather Gaya Walker. Yes, sir. Let's talk YouTube. Talk to me.
Starting point is 00:53:54 I don't know if y'all saw the news. Talk to me. Pull it up, Alex, if we don't have it already pulled up. Love this. The news about YouTube, YouTube. Hold on, let me tell you. I'm getting old, man. You know, I can't remember things like I used to.
Starting point is 00:54:10 Got to look things up. YouTube, where was the headline I'm looking for? Okay, yes. YouTube offers creators millions to not work with Netflix. YouTube is offering creators millions to not work with Netflix. YouTube is offering millions of dollars, the popular channels, if they upload their videos to the site exclusively for a certain period of time in an effort, to halt Netflix's pursuit of its biggest stars,
Starting point is 00:54:44 according to people familiar with the conversations. The payment would come in a couple of different forms. YouTube is discussed directly financing some programs, and it is also offered to a lot a portion of major brand deals to creators, though YouTube hasn't finalized deals within creators. It is close to an agreement with several partners, said to people who decline to be identified because the negotiations are sensitive and ongoing creators
Starting point is 00:55:07 who do sign deals with Netflix face consequences. YouTube has said, according to the people, YouTube will be less likely to feature them in marketing campaigns or at events if they release videos on Netflix at the same time. YouTube would also exclude those creators from collecting a share of proceeds from some major brand campaigns.
Starting point is 00:55:25 Whoa, whoa. Talk to me, Charlotte. What's you thinking? I think this is great for the games. One of the people who told y'all years ago that you can't really build a business on YouTube. I think that, you know, because of the way YouTube can demonetize your content whenever they want to, because of the way YouTube can suppress your content whenever they want to, it just kind of makes whatever that business is that you're trying to build on a stable. YouTube is the best for when it comes to discovery.
Starting point is 00:55:57 Reach. You know, when it comes to, you know, reach, when it comes to, you know, making you a part of the algorithm to push your content, the people who may not necessarily get it, you know, they're the best. But when I saw YouTube do this and I saw the other feature that they added to where now, you don't even have to watch a certain amount of the video anymore. As soon as you click the video first frame, it counts as a view. And that's going to go towards monetization. I said, oh, they're making it more beneficial for the creator, as they should. Why wouldn't they always do that? Because if YouTube was a record label, you motherfuckers would be screaming.
Starting point is 00:56:33 Oh, I'm sorry. Great. Great. Okay. Right. Mark that. Y'all would be screaming S.A. Not Stephen A.
Starting point is 00:56:41 Okay. Y'all would be screaming great. But if it was, you would be outraged at the amount of profits that this company is receiving compared to its creators. And let's be for real. I mean, so much so that we go out and get our own advertisers. You see what I'm saying? Like the advertisers that you're seeing on the podcast are curated by our team.
Starting point is 00:57:04 See what I'm saying? We have to find a way. Now, we're grateful for the ability to access all these people. build this audience, connect with you guys. No complaints about YouTube. None. We know we sign up for it. 100%.
Starting point is 00:57:13 But we signed up not even thinking there was ever a way we could make money off YouTube. Like, none of, when we got into YouTube, there was all about reach. It's all about a reach. And we're like, if we can reach the people, maybe we can do something with our creative ideas. That's right. But what I think is interesting to this to me is like the beauty of competition, right? So what you were saying before about like, you know, people could talk shit about capitalism that could talk shit about, you know, markets and this kind of stuff. And yes, there's
Starting point is 00:57:39 tons of things that we have to fix so more people can feel part of the economy. Right now, there's so many people that feel strange from the economy. They are right to feel that way. And there are things organized to probably make it so. But Netflix starting to pay YouTubers now all of a sudden, YouTubers are going, well, we can also pay some money. You want Facebook doing this. You want Instagram. You want as many companies competing for your creative contest as possible because that's what makes you the most money because now you actually have another offer you can compete again. I mean, listen, Amazon did it with Mr. Bees. You know what I'm saying? Amazon rode the brakes truck up and Mr. Bees had his reality show
Starting point is 00:58:19 or whatever it was on Amazon, Beast Games, but he was still, you know, doing his YouTube thing as well. We just saw what Netflix did with podcasting. Yes, who else just got into the podcasting game? Disney, right? Disney just picked up the Jonas Brothers podcast from IHeart. So, yeah, I told you, to go back and watch the conversation I had with Earn Your Leaser. I said, y'all, I'm watching all of these people, you know, say all of this shit about Breakfast Club on Netflix, but you're not realizing how good this is going to be for the creator economy. Because if we have success over here and these other podcasts have success over here, guess what everybody else is going to do? It's just the obvious way things were.
Starting point is 00:59:04 And I'm not sitting here tooting our own horn. I'm just simply saying, you know, last time I checked Breakfast Club made up 44% of all Netflix's podcasting. All of it. All of it. So thank you Breakfast Club, okay? And by the way, shout out to all the YouTube creators who make their videos about Breakfast Club
Starting point is 00:59:26 and, you know, how Breakfast Club fell off because of Netflix. Thank you. You're going to make a lot more money now. A lot more money. You're saying that shit. about us. You should say you're welcome. You should say you're welcome. No, you should say you're welcome. No, I am. You're welcome. You're welcome. You're welcome. You should say you're welcome to them.
Starting point is 00:59:42 You're welcome. Because the reality of the situation is, y'all made all of these videos and all you did was push people to go see what the fuck is going on on Netflix. Oh, don't give way the secret sauce, man. I tell them all the time. Love and hate works for you because the algorithm don't know the difference. I tell you all that shit all the time. And I'm going to tell you something else. I was reading Drewski's article in GQ. And Drusky was talking about how he's got a scripted show coming based off the past the character he plays.
Starting point is 01:00:13 But he was like, he's just going to do it on YouTube. And I was like, yo, that's actually dope because he's already got two shows on YouTube now, right? It could have been record shit. And then there could have been love. He's invested all this money to do his own reality shows. But then I saw this deal come out four days later. I was like, oh, I get it.
Starting point is 01:00:29 Oh, YouTube bought to drop Drusky off bad. And listen, here's the reality. Here's the reality of things. Is that like the one reason why you don't see high, high level scripted content on YouTube is because you can't monetize it given their current system to the point where you can pay for it. That's right. It's like, let's just be very clear. We're talking about if you're making even a movie and you want to put it directly on YouTube,
Starting point is 01:01:01 I think they said obsession, which is like one of the cheapest, movies ever made. $750,000 to a million is what they spent. Right? So, like, that's, for one, we do a two-hour podcast every single week. It doesn't cost us a million dollars to do it every single week. But in order to make a movie, you need to generate a million dollars. You know how many
Starting point is 01:01:19 views you got to get just to get a million dollars in an ad, Rev? Could you tell them the truth? Because a lot of motherfuckers out here for years have been lying about the money that they're making. And it fucks up the game. A trillion views? I don't know. Like, $400 billion? How much does that, let's look that up.
Starting point is 01:01:36 How much does it cost to make a million dollars off one video on YouTube? Yeah, I mean, it's not one video because over two hours you could put a lot of different ads. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. How many views do you need to make a million dollars on YouTube? That's a good one. That's a good. Depends on RPM. How much the creator actually receives per a thousand.
Starting point is 01:02:05 views. A hundred million, between 100 and 500 million views. That's crazy. And that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, if you got a, if you got a two dollar RPM, you need 500 million views to get a million dollars. That's crazy. That's crazy. Yeah. Listen, by the way, you know, it's people that monetize their content on YouTube and they make their money, they make a couple of dollars.
Starting point is 01:02:31 That's good for them, you know what I mean? But it's like, there's a, there's a whole other way to make money, bro. It's all I'm simply saying. You know what I mean? And shout out to YouTube. YouTube is dope. But I'm telling you, the fact that Netflix, Disney, YouTube, all of these people are paying the content creators, the podcasters now. And I'm going to tell you what else is going to fuck the game up.
Starting point is 01:02:54 Let YouTube give Drusky a bag. And then Drusky goes out there and does what he knows we're going to do, make some really dope shit. You're going to have all the creators running the YouTube. to at least scripted, right? Maybe not movies quite yet, but at least scripted shows. You know why? I don't got to deal with the notes. Shotes.
Starting point is 01:03:16 Movies are cheap, though. They are, but it just depends what the number is. It takes so much money, so much money, so much time. Just think about one TV show, if it's an hour and episode and eight episodes, that's eight hours. So that's basically four movies. Yeah? It's just expensive. But I hear you.
Starting point is 01:03:34 But I don't got to, imagine I don't got to deal with the notes. Imagine I can just create some dope shit I already got a fucking audience on YouTube And YouTube was just like yo here's 50 million dollars Just stay with us for the next three years So what will happen They'll be the first iteration of that
Starting point is 01:03:51 And that will be fire And then one of those shows Is gonna get in trouble for a sketch And then YouTube is gonna be held liable Because they're like you're paying for this Therefore it's your content It's not just being uploaded to your service You're co-signing this
Starting point is 01:04:05 and then all of a sudden they'll be like a notes provision where they'll probably have to make sure that you're not. Okay, well, now it's no fun no more. No, but what I'm saying is right now you're in the window. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Right now this is potentially early stages of the internet again, but with payment. Yes.
Starting point is 01:04:23 Remember when we were uploading shit? Like, much to maybe our problem. Yes. You know, it was like there was no words you couldn't say, no anything. Yes. That's right. And listen, for all of you people, follow the money.
Starting point is 01:04:37 If you don't think podcasts are doing well on Netflix, then ask yourself why YouTube getting in the game like this. Ask yourself why Disney getting in the game like this. Listen, all I ever try to do is come on, you know, the podcast and give y'all actual facts
Starting point is 01:04:51 and actual numbers. And, you know, I like to read on it. Because, of course they don't. You just want to feel good. They don't. Nobody cares about the truth and the lives more entertaining. They want their narratives, man. Exactly. Whatever they feel,
Starting point is 01:05:02 they just want you to tell them they're right. Whatever they feel. Speaking of which, I need you fucking YouTube journalist. YouTube fucking journalist. I need you. I want to hear y'all talking about this, YouTube journalist. This is Attorney General James Uffmeyer. As Florida's Attorney General, I enforce our laws to protect consumers
Starting point is 01:05:22 from illegal schemes that take their money. Companies are operating online casinos that are illegal under Florida law. Sites like Stakeos run by VGW. market themselves as sweepstakes or social casinos. No. But they offer real gambling. Slots, blackjack, and poker. Unlock the jaw.
Starting point is 01:05:42 They've raked in hundreds of millions of dollars. What? From people in our state. No. These websites do not follow the safeguards. What? Or provide consumer protections that are required of licensed casinos under Florida law. No.
Starting point is 01:05:56 We filed lawsuits against the operators of these sites. Shit, no. Along with their financial facilitators. What? The promoters? We're seeking to recover every dollar consumers lost under Florida's gambling recovery laws. What the fuck is going on? And we will hold them accountable under our consumer protection laws for their deceptive claims.
Starting point is 01:06:15 What? These companies cannot hide illegal gambling behind a sweepstakes label. No, no, that's AI. That's AI. That's AI. It says Florida AG Sue's steak VGW over sweepstakes casino operations. That's got to be AI. Can you YouTube journalists get on your job?
Starting point is 01:06:33 I just want all the YouTube journalists to get on their job and tell me if this is AI or not, bro. Florida, AG, sues, steak over what? Over sweepstakes casino operations? I don't know, that's kind of crazy. Damn, bro. He's on the Rock Nation payroll, too? He might, I think you gotta be right.
Starting point is 01:06:56 He might be on Rock Nation payroll. That's great. That's kind of crazy, yo. Let me look and see if I see any signs. Let me look. I ain't look in the background of the video. I don't know. All I'm saying, I just want the YouTube journalist to get on their job, okay? I want to, can the YouTube journalists get on their job?
Starting point is 01:07:13 I think Charlotte Man has 48 hours in a day, man. I don't know where you get. I know. I don't know where you get the time. I'm envious. We just parted. But you got the time for it all. I'm just partying.
Starting point is 01:07:24 You know what the Florida Attorney General is doing. Listen, the shit came across my motherfucking algorithm, okay? It was in my algorithm. What you want me to do? God bless you. What you want me to do, man? Speedy Mormon reads Drey. Who the fucking Drey baby?
Starting point is 01:07:42 I don't know. I'm not, I don't want to see. No. Do you have a girlfriend? No. Are you in an apartment? Yes. So the things that you're telling me, I definitely thank you for that.
Starting point is 01:07:52 Speed is one of them. And hearing all of that come from you. Do you have art on your walls? No. Is that carpet probably a little musty? Yes. Do you have water bottles and garbage littered around? your 500 square foot apartment.
Starting point is 01:08:04 Yes. Is that Mo Mo a size 6x? Yes. Are your gums bigger than they should be? Yes. Are your side burns darker than your contour? Yes. You know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 01:08:14 And again, the fact that this is adjustment free zone for both of us means a lot to me. Speed, no shade. Take the gum thing back. That's really fucking sensitive right now. It's inflamed my gums. Yeah, they ain't on fire. Sure. You know how like you're like 2%?
Starting point is 01:08:30 You have like 2% teeth, 98% gums. That ain't right. No shade, Speedy. I know for a fact, you didn't have been fine, but that's, that's he's just crossing. Now you're on too far. Are you married? See, here's the thing. Once again,
Starting point is 01:08:44 Speedy is one of the slick, he's a slick, shady individual. Because he does all of that with a smile on his Yeah. If I would have just smiled a lot more, you did. Yeah, he did. You did. Yeah, he did. That was your charm. Yeah. That's what you would do.
Starting point is 01:09:00 We would do this. It would say the craziest shit. Yeah, you were never angry? No. Once you're angry, you lose. Once you're angry, you fucking lose, man. You're smiling, you're having fun. Don't ever get angry.
Starting point is 01:09:11 You're right. You're absolutely right. Once you get angry, you lose. Shout out the fucking Speedy, man. I like Speedy a lot. Speedy's dope. Apple putting cameras in AirPods. Why?
Starting point is 01:09:23 You know what they need to do with AirPods? Make it so when I drop my case, they don't go like 300 feet from my case. Yes. If I, what it was, do you know what I'm talking about? No, I don't have it before. Do you have you seen this? Yeah, every time you drop it and then they just like fly everywhere.
Starting point is 01:09:40 And I think it's on purpose so that you got to buy a new one. Because there's no reason that they should go a fucking football field away from the case. But don't they got to make them easy for you to pull out? So if they make them any tighter, it'll be harder for you just to whip them out. Make it tighter, bro. I'm tired of looking under my fucking bed halfway through the room. Like I knock it over looking for some water and hang on. Nightstand.
Starting point is 01:10:02 Yeah. Why would you put a camera in the... Yeah, why do you need a camera in your airpark? Why do we need cameras in the glasses? It's too many cameras, guys. I hate that shit, yo. I think wearing them Rayban glasses should be illegal. Yo, this is what I don't get.
Starting point is 01:10:16 They're okay with... Well, I mean, there's a huge difference between this, obviously. Like, you don't want, like, a tyrannical regime having access to cameras that are following us around. I get it. I'm not making that comparison. But, like, I don't want civilians being able to film me whatever the fuck they one with their glasses. I'm not even aware of the conversation.
Starting point is 01:10:33 You know what's so funny? You just said you don't want a tyrannical regime following you around. We're all under surveillance anyway. Big brothers have been a thing. I know. Like, we've been under surveillance. We just watched a whole bunch of people going in and out of sewers. And I still don't want it. It's there. There's nothing you can do. But I feel like we're being watched right now. We are by people on the Internet. Bro, you know what so crazy. Thank you, YouTube. Thank you. I feel, I got a sneaking suspicion.
Starting point is 01:11:03 There might be people watching this right now with five cameras in the room. You know what so crazy? There might be stuff going on here. I'm sitting on my balcony the other night. Flex, my boy. And I went in the motherfucking house. I'm saying, you might have been digging your ass.
Starting point is 01:11:16 I was on my fucking balcony the other night. And I said, I told my husband, let's go in the house. Because I think about like the drone. And by the way, shit like that has happened. Like, drones fly over your house, try to take pictures of your property and shit like that. You know what I mean?
Starting point is 01:11:33 You just never fucking know. But you know what that drone shit is? What? What? That's so that you don't build some shit that you didn't ask permission to the town for. That's lazy. That's motherfuckers who do that shit.
Starting point is 01:11:50 Take the videos and then put them up online on those stupid... Oh, this is what a charlemans property. Yes. But they also do do that. Like the HOAs will have a drone going around. and make sure you can put a tennis court up without getting like proper, you know, what is it called, permission from the state?
Starting point is 01:12:06 Like, they're crazy about that stuff. Bro, the other day, a deer. I'll show you the picture. Look at this shit. My wife sent me this shit the other day. A fucking deer walked up to the kitchen window and was just staring in that shit, right? Yeah, but that's normal, right?
Starting point is 01:12:19 No, no. Why, do you have a fence? Yeah, but that's normal. Chinese spyware. Let me see that. Chinese, that's Chinese, that's Chinese, that's Chinese fucking spyware. Get the fuck out of here.
Starting point is 01:12:30 That's Chinese. Fucking spyware, bro. Get the fuck out of here. That little pizza oven back there? Nah, no. I wish I wanted a brick house beat, though. That looks like a little brickhouse piece. What is that back there?
Starting point is 01:12:43 It's a fireplace, but I'm getting, I'm checking that toilet. This is lovely. I love this. Great foliage, the landscaping. Listen, man. Yope and the loose privates. Shout out to the ones that ain't got the portage yet. We appreciate you.
Starting point is 01:12:57 Yo, shout out the boxwoods down here. This is lovely work, Charla. Hey, shout out. nothing Nicole White. But, oh, the sunken sink to, whatever that's called. Chinese spyware, bro. You think that's a Chinese guy right there? Some rich motherfuckers. You don't think, look how that motherfucker's looking in there, bro.
Starting point is 01:13:19 What makes you think we're rich as he's telling me about a deer walking up to his kissing? Yeah. And you know it all the fucking foliage and all this shit. Like, come on, son. The guy's got taste. You got taste. Stay separate. Stay separate.
Starting point is 01:13:34 That's it. As Kanye. Ask Kanye. It's just taste. Yeah. Show me more pictures of the property. You don't think this is a fucking spy? Oh, dude.
Starting point is 01:13:45 Bro, look how this is looking. Not dear. Bro. And they won't have it like something that big. Right now they're already putting cameras and like flies and stuff. They'll have what's familiar to the area. You know what I'm saying? Because you won't expect nothing of it.
Starting point is 01:14:02 No. They put it in dogs. All right, man. Let's say, man. Because you wouldn't, because you wouldn't, you wouldn't suspect it, right? There's no way you would suspect it, right?
Starting point is 01:14:18 Like, if a dog came up and did that, you would just think it was a dog that was let loose in the neighborhood, right? Yes or no? That's how the smart they are. No, hell, no, I wouldn't. Yeah, you see. You see?
Starting point is 01:14:30 Yeah. Let's pay some bills. What is this one? Two and five Canadians will hear the words you have cancer. That's why every step and dollar raised matters. On September 19th, join thousands in Toronto for the Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation Walk. Challenge yourself, friends, and family to walk 21 kilometers in support of life-saving research.

Workday is the enterprise AI platform for HR, finance, and IT, with AI grounded in your context to get work done and done right. It's a new work day. Let's do some asking idiots, mine. Ooh.
Starting point is 01:15:33 It's All Anonymous says if you were tasked with creating humans, what would you change? Anything that would create a superior. complex, anything that would allow us to get rid of the caste systems. And I don't mean, you know, everybody would be one color. That's silly. What I mean is that whatever creates biases, prejudices, jealousy, envy, and this constant want for more, I think I would change. I don't even know if you need to change humans for that, though.
Starting point is 01:16:15 I just think you need to change the systems around humans. But would you do that same thing for attractiveness? Yeah. So like now everybody's equally attractive. No, I wouldn't because once again, I'm, I said you, you know, I'm not going to change anything that would create the caste system, what created the caste system was race. I would just change people's mindsets. Like this wouldn't even be a physical thing for me. Like I would try to take away, like I said, things that create biases, the prejudices, whatever that thing is internally.
Starting point is 01:16:48 mentally, emotionally, that makes you look at somebody else and get jealous or envious, I would want to change that. Physical, like, now, I want everybody to look the same. I mean, I want everybody to look different. I want everybody to have their different appearances and everything else. But you don't want those things to be valued by one another. Yes, especially if they create animosity or make you feel like, you know, I'm superior to the next person.
Starting point is 01:17:14 But, like, somebody, finding somebody more attractive creates a superior. superiority complex. Doesn't it? A taller person, certain color hair. But I mean, that just means I want to fuck you. You said attractive, right?
Starting point is 01:17:27 Yeah, but now we have a different hierarchy. Like, it was a different caste system, if you will. But that's what I mean. That's why I would get rid of all of that. Like, I would get rid of, if I saw a person that was tall with a nice, nice long dreadlocks, like I wouldn't be jealous
Starting point is 01:17:40 and then I'd be a person. Like, whatever that is that makes you, man, why the fuck I don't have that, that comparison where I would get rid of that. what I would change. What about you? I think just bigger tits like... All right, man. What's the next? You know, what's the next one? Just give everybody a little bigger tits. Even guys? Yeah. Nobody's mad at you. You want everybody walking around here like Flaming Monroe? Yes. That's crazy. Yes. Um, Lucky U. Central said, what's the character
Starting point is 01:18:15 trait that you see that this new generation is missing? I don't even understand. this new generation. I'm completely out of loss. I hear the things they complain about and it's like they're lonely but they're the most connected they've ever been. They can't be in relationships
Starting point is 01:18:35 but they have more access to people than anybody in human history has ever had access to. The things I do, like the economic struggles that they're going through I do understand and empathize that and I understand the existential doom of like whether a judge be gone
Starting point is 01:18:52 because of AI. But like, in terms of like the loneliness thing you always keep hearing, it's like, there's a part of me that wonders, like, have, you know,
Starting point is 01:19:03 when you start talking about mental illness, like eventually people start seeing the things that they have. And that's good because they recognize it, but then the people who don't really have anything are trying to manifest it.
Starting point is 01:19:14 Yeah. And I wonder if we've, like, told men they're lonely so much that now they're starting to like look for their loneliness. I think people are lonely. I agree with everything you said just now. I think that they're lonely because of social media.
Starting point is 01:19:28 They don't know how to make real human connection. Think about when you was young. How many friends did you really need? You have a few friends. You don't even need that. You're in one person. You can do it. Y'all go get a basketball going to court all day long.
Starting point is 01:19:41 You know what I'm saying? And because we didn't have social media either to prop us up or tear us down every day. Because whether these people realize it or not, they go on social media to get these dopamine hits. They need social media to boost them up. That's why so many people care about the court of public opinion online more than they do real life. Because you didn't need that, guess what else you developed Schultz? You never felt lonely.
Starting point is 01:20:07 Yeah. You always had you. Yeah. You know what I'm saying? I'm never by myself. I'm with myself. Yeah, that's an interesting. That's how I feel all the time.
Starting point is 01:20:15 I'm never a fine myself. We were forced to do that so then when we did get to connect with our friends, it felt special. It was eating. It felt good. You know, think about how many, and I watch all of us in this room do this in real time. We're comfortable with ourselves, so we're home, and we're thinking about things,
Starting point is 01:20:30 and we're writing things down. Then you know what you do, like a fucking regular person? Yo, Charlamagne, you got a few moments. Yo, Shows, you got a few moments. Or it's something. We're having conversation. Allie, what you think about this? Like, we're sharing information.
Starting point is 01:20:44 That's what you do when you have real human connections with people. And I'm not home at alone wondering where is. everybody. I'm at home alone with me. And now I'm like, all right, let me go find somebody to share this. You're so right. You're so right. But what I think has happened is they think that that's not the norm because they've only existed at a time where there was so much connectivity. That's right. So now, like, what we were kids when we were alone, we didn't also have a phone where we were scrolling, everybody was together. And then you start to feel alone because you're comparing yourself.
Starting point is 01:21:14 That's right. Right. So the thing that, it's like they think that they're lonely because they don't have a baseline of loneliness. You know what I mean? Yeah. Like, we spent way more time alone. Way more fucking time alone than they ever. You couldn't just go on a video game and talk to a hundred different people in 100 different countries.
Starting point is 01:21:34 You couldn't turn on the screen and start talking to thousands of people. Bro, when we were kids, you know, you call your friend and hope someone heard the phone. Yeah. You know what I mean? You hope they were maybe there. Like, there was no. So there was a gratitude. It's even with the dating culture that they'd
Starting point is 01:21:50 exist now. It's like there's so many different opportunities, right? It's like that analysis, paralysis shit. It's like being on Netflix. So it's like, were you like looking for something, but you can't choose. When we were growing up, you had the girls in your high school, maybe the high school down a block. You knew all the kind of girls that, and granted, we were in New York City, so it's a very different situation. But I imagine where you grew up. You knew all the cute girls that were around her age. So if you ended up with one, you were like, yo, I'm fucking lucky, bro. Like, there's dudes out here that can't get any of these girls. And that's the only girls, but they fucking know. So I think that there's a lot of that going on. I think there's a lot
Starting point is 01:22:25 of that going on where like nobody has also told them how fortunate and lucky they are. They've just been fed how victimized they are and they're believing it. Yeah. So I think what we're saying is the character trait that we see this new generation missing is confidence maybe. Yeah, sure. Confidence? Or gratitude. Confidence? Or gratitude. Confidence? Confidence. That's another one. And also perspective. Like perspective on how disconnected you could actually be. I don't think, yeah, I'm with you. The internet fucked you up. If you see everybody having fun and living their best life and then you're not having a great day, it feels worse.
Starting point is 01:22:58 I think you nailed it, though. The baseline is off. The baseline is off. I think with integrity, too. Hmm. Because if you're willing to do anything to fill that void of loneliness, you know what I mean? If you're willing to say anything to fill that void of loneliness. Like, I think, yeah, so confidence, integrity.
Starting point is 01:23:18 because I don't feel like you should just be able to get online and just lie. Like, that shouldn't be so easy for you. You know what I mean? You got one attention. You're going to get it. Yeah. I mean, I don't think that that is what you should do, but, like, that is what. No, I'm with you.
Starting point is 01:23:37 We also live in a different attention economy. Like, there wasn't an attention economy back in the day. Oh, lucky you, you're right. It just didn't exist. That reward you. That monetizes it. No, you're right. You couldn't get attention.
Starting point is 01:23:49 You could only get attention from your friends. Maybe if you were lucky, you were able to audition for something and then get on time. You had to have a skill, bro. Like you did. Like, even in school, I ain't even talking about the entertainment business. In school, you had to do something, bro. Like, what's some jokes like? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:24:04 I mean, do you play basketball? Are you the smartest kid in the class? Like, what do you do? Like, we used to arm wrestle, thumb wrestle. Everything was about, you know, we wonder why we debate everything. Everything was about competition. Everything. Pencil.
Starting point is 01:24:19 We used to pencil fight, bro. Yeah. Yeah. Everything was about actual competition. Everything. Another, this is a good question from Lucky U.C. Central is AI the death of art and literature? Absolutely not. Not even close.
Starting point is 01:24:33 No, it's not even, it's actually a tool. It's the opposite. Yeah, it's a tool that's going to make you create more art and literature. My only issue with AI, don't let AI be your brain. You know, my biggest issue with AI early on was, that we already live in an era where you can't tell the difference between what's real and what's faith. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:24:52 And that's still my issue. But when it comes to like the arts, entertainment, things like that, just don't let AI be your actual brain. If you're a joke writer, keep writing those jokes. And if you can, you know, if AI can help you strengthen them or like find new POVs and stuff, cool. If you're an animator, continue to draw. Put your stuff in AI and let AI animate it for you, right?
Starting point is 01:25:19 Like, that's, that's a tip that I've been hearing from a lot of my animated friends. Like, they draw and then drop it an AI. And this cartoon they've always wanted to make, it's there now. But it's them that's actually doing the drawing. You want to do stuff like that. Don't let a fucking AI write your whole book, bro. That's just silly. No.
Starting point is 01:25:38 You know, let the AI proofread stuff for you. Let the AI, you know, tell you, hey, let's smooth this out a little bit. Do shit like that. Yeah. Bigfella underscore meek says, Unk, are you adding more names to the legendary last names, honorable mentions now? I'm a Pinkett Smith, Winfrey Knows Carter.
Starting point is 01:25:57 Wow. Still? Still. Still. Still Pinkett Smith? But, I mean, I got mad honorable mentions, though. I got Clarence, Avon. That's my, you know, that's the...
Starting point is 01:26:05 You're still starting with Pinkett Smith? Pinkett Smith Winfrey Knows Carter, bro. Starting with it. That's my name. Pinkett Smith Winfrey Knows Carter. I can't run from the last... name just because he had a couple rough years. Even the Pinkett part?
Starting point is 01:26:20 Even the Pinkett part. More so the Pinkett part. More so the Pinkett part. Yo, y'all gonna stop acting like Jay to not a whole gangsta out here. Okay? Sick of this shit. Stop acting like Jay to not a whole gangsta out here in these streets, yo. Jay to fucking Pinkett, bro.
Starting point is 01:26:38 Dropping the clues button for Jay the motherfucking Pinkin. All right, y'all thought set it off as just a movie. Rico underscore Evar says, Would you rather have Batman try and protect you from Iron Man or vice versa? This is some good shit here, Rico. This is some good shit here. I got Iron Man over Batman. Iron Man.
Starting point is 01:26:59 I got Iron Man over Batman. Break it down. Break it down. Why? Tony Stark, even though he was a billionaire's kid, has a grittiness to him. You know what I'm saying? saying Batman, Bruce Wayne, don't have the grittiness. Yes, he does? Nah, he don't.
Starting point is 01:27:21 He comes off a lot more privileged than Tony Stark does, you know? And I got a theory, bro. I got a theory about Batman that nobody's ever explored. No. Especially being that we live in this world now and we know how allegedly evil billionaires are. How do we know Gotham isn't the revolt towards the billionaires? How do we know all of those people locked up in Arkham Asylum weren't the revolutionaries, the activists who were fighting against the Bruce Waynes of the motherfucking world?
Starting point is 01:28:04 And so fucking Bruce Wayne decides to put on this Batman costume. run around with a little treat a little treat you know who the little treat is right oh my god don't put that on that's crazy hear me out
Starting point is 01:28:26 billionaire Batman clearly would have been in the Epstein Files if this was a real thing right if he was a real person running around with his little teen side kick okay that wasn't able to do anything right
Starting point is 01:28:41 never really did anything if we're being complete honestly honest was just there to probably relieve a little pressure, right? How do we know that the fucking villains in Gotham weren't the regular everyday citizens who revolted against the motherfucking rich? How do we know that? Okay, let me tack something on to that. What if they didn't revolt against the rich?
Starting point is 01:29:09 But what if Bruce Wayne was secretly funding them in every. to break down the city so that he could buy it up at a much cheaper price. Capitalism. Consolidate all the businesses under Wayne enterprises at a much cheaper rate. Nobody actually wants to live in the city. There's criminals everywhere. So they're actually criminals thinking they're doing the criminal shit. And then on top of that, he does the heroic thing where he cleans up the people that he was
Starting point is 01:29:44 actually supporting in the first place. Now he's consolidated power in the city, right? The police are working for him. They pretty much know what's going on, and he is a connection with the police. But he's created the problem and the solution. You're probably right. Nobody ever talks about the wealth gap in Gotham. Has anybody ever stopped to think what is the wealth gap in Gotham?
Starting point is 01:30:04 Why are all of these people committing all of these crimes? Why are they always robbing shit? Why are they always trying to do something to get some extra fucking cash? Most Batman villains were robbing shit for money. Why? Because motherfuckers like Bruce Wayne and sucked up all the resources. Okay?
Starting point is 01:30:22 Nobody talks about that. That might be it. Nobody talked about that. You know why they haven't put Robin in none of the movies? Too dark. Too dark. Yeah, it is kind of... Too dark.
Starting point is 01:30:32 It's like a Greek... Too dark. Mathematician. He gets a new Robin every couple of years. Every couple of years. And what was the first Robin's name? Look it up. I don't even want to say it out loud.
Starting point is 01:30:48 I want you to look it up. What was the first Robin's name? Jeffrey? No. What was his name? The first Robin and Batman continuity was Dick. Grace.
Starting point is 01:31:19 I arrest my motherfucking case. I arrest my mother fucking case. I arrest my mother fucking case. A motherfuckering case. Y'all been looking at this Batman thing all fucking wrong. Meanwhile, Batman still tries to keep the mentally ill and the pouring disenfranchised down,
Starting point is 01:31:36 running around Gotham beating them up every fucking night. Just because they're on to him, bro. That's a fun, like, narrative flip for Batman where he's actually the bad guy exposed his trying. I know, I know, but I'm saying that's a fun where you could make the villains, the heroes. They are. The Joker was mentally ill.
Starting point is 01:31:57 Yeah. We just saw the penguin on that fucking running train video with the fucking, the penguin was paraplegic, bro. He was out of fucking deformity. Like, these people were ill. Okay? They had fucking actual deformities, physical handicaps, mental handicaps, and Batman, like a lot of rich people do, took advantage of it.
Starting point is 01:32:19 Yeah. Tony Stark? Compassionate Capitalists. Batman Elon Musk Wow I'm just sitting there because that was too much for
