Starting point is 00:00:00 Charlamagne the God. We are the brilliant idiotist podcast. My guy Andrew Schultz is not here. Hezekiah Walker is not here. He's filming a movie. Alex is here. Chris isn't here, even. Chris is, um...
Starting point is 00:00:13 Fire Island somewhere, I don't know. Fire Island. I saw Chris outside. No, you didn't. I swear to God. Not outside of here, but like outside. Oh, oh. Taylor Gang is here.
Starting point is 00:00:21 This woman who can't wait until she gets introduced, Lauren fucking La Rosa. Oh, she's sorry. L.L. Coobay is here. They both trying to jump me because I'm trying to tell them that they... No, because you.
Starting point is 00:00:30 wrong. He's a grown. You were a grown boyfriend. You were the career boyfriend and messing up at that. Here's a different. Give us some context. Yes, we were talking about when, when a person should get engaged, when they should get married, how soon after they start dating. Me and my wife don't count because me and my wife been together since we was kids. That is it. Why does that night tell? Especially you from the South. In the South, they'd be married at like 19. Exactly. No, that was in the fucking 70s. This is the fucking 2000s. Like we had lives to live. She went off to college. I went off Do radio. Why do you not think that there's lives to live still?
Starting point is 00:01:05 Because y'all are almost 40. Y'all know y'all premenopause? I'm like a motherfucker. Okay? Now, you don't count Taylor. And Taylor, I don't even know why you jumping in this conversation. Because you got your fiancé. You got your fiancé.
Starting point is 00:01:16 You got your fiance. You got your baby. Y'all got a wedding date set. I ain't got no problems with capital P. Shout out the capital P. But all the other boyfriends that's just boyfriends, I'm like this. But you know what? I'm like this, and I put pressure on all of them.
Starting point is 00:01:32 And it depends the difference. I can tell when guys are really serious. How can you tell when you've never even had a real conversation with them? I could just tell. Because I wouldn't mind the pressure if you, like, knew him, there was a relationship. It's like you don't know not in their thing at all. Probably because you still move single. Do I don't?
Starting point is 00:01:51 Oh, don't do that. I didn't want to say it, but since she pressured me, because she's right. I don't want to put it all on, homie, you know what I mean? That's what it is. You know what I'm going to move to those single. The way I talk, everything about me is so different than when you met me. You didn't really know, you didn't know me when I was single. Yeah, but I mean, the way you move online, it don't look like you have a boyfriend.
Starting point is 00:02:09 That's what I'm saying. Don't look like you have a boyfriend, the way you move on a lot of it. Why? Because I don't post him. You don't even do the soft-law shit where you showed a hand or another that. That's how they don't know. I didn't see that. The head with the watches and all that have been happening for about a year now.
Starting point is 00:02:24 I actually just, I actually just like, lo-key posting them. Right. Because he just opened up his lounge and dumb. That's where I saw Chris at. I was like that. I know he just kind of posted. What I saw was a, I saw the balloons that said, do we go together or some shit like that?
Starting point is 00:02:38 Which was so crazy. Fleer all the way out the country, went out of the country to go fucking ass to go together. So they go together. I ain't see no hand. It was a relationship proposal? Yes. He couldn't propose with the rig.
Starting point is 00:02:51 See what I'm saying? What? That's crazy. How long were you a boyfriend? A year. Lying. Right on track. It's not.
Starting point is 00:03:00 You were only for a year. We were engaged after a year. He don't count either because her, she's not black. Ooh! Then there's that. Why we want to do that? Because you guys, no, that's true. She's Spanish.
Starting point is 00:03:12 Oh, yeah. I mean, he's all Spanish, though. Exactly, he's all Spanish. Oh. I was to say you don't want to get cut, but you don't, like Drake. But I'm saying, that you know, you right, Lauren, I don't want to put it on a homie because it's really you. Like you, you don't, y'all not like a, y'all not like sneakers. You're not like, this is a pair of sneakers.
Starting point is 00:03:31 Like, Alex got on a pair of sneakers. Taylor got on a pair stander. See, one sneaker, but it's not that. See, like, you don't even have it down. Even though you're wearing a pair, you don't have it down. Shut up! You move like a... Yeah, she's not even in your demeanor.
Starting point is 00:03:44 Like, it's not even in your demeanor. How did you even do that? You know what I'm saying? Like a Lucy from a Packers? That's like your red kids. Don't do that. No, no, I don't do that. You don't get a Lucy energy?
Starting point is 00:03:57 I like that song, though. What's the name of it? There's a song called Lucy. I never heard. of it. Tell her. You don't think she's just Lucy in the Teller, you were there in my single time when I first time I heard in New York. Night and day. No, it's
Starting point is 00:04:09 not. I was there too, ain't shit changed. No. The only way I speak. Today you ask something about me, or somebody asked something on the show about what have men brought me in our early stages of. I didn't even want to comment on that. The old me, we would have story for days. Like, we'd be up there, Kikin. Well, no, you don't like, you are, I call you lying,
Starting point is 00:04:27 I call you lying, La Rosa, because you have lying tendencies, but you know when not to lie. You didn't want to lie. You know, ain't nobody ever bought you shit. That's just the reality of the situation. That's just the reality of the situation. Like you talk about shit from the past? That's nothing right. I can, but I just feel like certain times it's just like, I mean, like, it's just why. Like, it's just not needed. It didn't, it didn't take me talking about somebody, something that I've got in the past for the conversation to go on. Didn't have to. Before. Where are there things to talk about? She ain't never got nothing.
Starting point is 00:04:57 Come on, man. She's from Delaware. This is a song like, this is a topic that. No, it's not. I just know you ain't never got nothing. It's like, it's a sore spot a little bit. What's a sore spot? That she never got nothing. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:05:11 It's fine. We can move on. We can move. Taylor, you got a topic. Honestly, right now. Buying rice and beans. Right now is when you'll get back time. Please, please.
Starting point is 00:05:19 Like, because you, like, I can tell you like, was a late bloomer. Like, you just started to glow. You know what? Oh, no, no, no, I'm not saying that you didn't have the confidence. No, no, I had the confidence. I had the confidence. I had the look. I had, it was always been there.
Starting point is 00:05:31 I'm not saying you didn't have to come in. I've always been treated like her. So wherever you're about to go now, you're going into the car by yourself. I don't know. Her? Her. I don't know if it was her now. Her.
Starting point is 00:05:41 Matter of fact, put some guys on the scene because I really was like flexing. Shut up. I don't know if you was her. Yeah, like it's been a noticeable glow up. You see what I'm saying? Noticable. But the glow. You might have been, but it wasn't no pronoun after.
Starting point is 00:05:53 Like you might have been. But now you wasn't, you ain't been her. You ain't been her. I didn't have a date them. No, no, no, you might have been. There was no pronoun after the bend. My point is, is that where I'm at right now, I don't have anything to prove. And certain conversations, I just feel like it don't take me to be in it.
Starting point is 00:06:10 And I'm totally okay with that. That'll have nothing to do with the fact that you are not engaged, okay? I will be, though. I hope so. And I'll be. I just don't respect it until it's to engage me. But even when it's an engagement, what does you respect and it look like? I have a little bit more respect, but then I need to see the wedding date.
Starting point is 00:06:28 You know what I'm saying? Oh, no, no, no, it's very clear. Don't engage me without a wedding day. Yes, wedding day got to come right after. I'm not a grown. I'm not a grown. And I'm not a career in fiancé. I just left a wedding, my good sister, you know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:06:41 And engagement was last year. Not even a year. Okay. And what age did you get, but did you propose? Exactly. See, it was 2014. It was like 30. 2014?
Starting point is 00:06:52 No, I got not proposed in 2013. That's over a decade. You did like a year before I came. I proposed in 2013 and got married in 2014. So you were like, yeah. 35? I don't even remember. I'm bad with that type of shit.
Starting point is 00:07:03 No, you were like... 2013. I'm 48 now, so do the math. Okay, grown-ass boyfriend. Was people telling you that... Do y'all understand? It doesn't matter if you're together. Yes, it does.
Starting point is 00:07:14 No, why? That actually makes it worse. No, it doesn't. You didn't have to get to know certain things as much as me meeting a person that I am dating newly. I'll date a difference. Number one, we were kids. Then we were trying to figure a life out, so it's like we didn't have no money. didn't have no money or anything like that.
Starting point is 00:07:30 We didn't have no stable place to stay. I lived in an apartment sometime in Columbia. She would stay with me for a little while and go get her own spot because she got her own independence. And it's always been like that until I finally got into a position where I'm like, you know what, I can hold it down for me and my family. You stop being a boy and being a man. Y'all too don't have that excuse.
Starting point is 00:07:48 Your man got loins that he opening up, okay? Loudest, not loins. Shut up. Okay. You're mad. Your man got, your man got, your man got, your man. Your man got, your man. Your man got loans that he's opening up.
Starting point is 00:07:59 I was texting like he's opening his lounge this weekend and I put loins on accent and he won't let it go. He's opening his loins this weekend. So he got money. Oh, so they're both outside moving singles. You are, I'm saying she out here getting money. Now would be the perfect time for y'all to link up and grow even more together. That's what we're going to do it. That's what we're doing.
Starting point is 00:08:22 We'll see. I'm not here to hate on it. I'm just telling you that I'm going to hate on it until it happens. Do you drink at weddings? Oh, yeah, I was, I got. And you just be talking, huh? Yeah, yeah. I don't know if I can want you coming on.
Starting point is 00:08:33 I had a ball this. I used to want you on the guests, but if you're going to be drinking and talking, I had a ball this weekend. What way you were worried about him saying? He just, you know he'd be making stuff up and just talking about. I had a ball this weekend. What does he ever make up? I don't make up shit.
Starting point is 00:08:48 That's y'all problem. Y'all know I don't make up shit. I just say what the fuck is going on. You literally be saying, believe me when I'm lying. That's different. That's not making up. That's me telling you I'm lying. Okay?
Starting point is 00:09:00 I had a ball this weekend. We had a ball. I love weddings, man. Wedding makes you feel good. Wedding made me feel so good. Weddings are so incredible. There's such joyous occasion. I love seeing that union.
Starting point is 00:09:11 You know what I mean? And this wedding was different because I just, you know, I just really saw how. What was he doing? You said from the beginning you knew that he was serious about her. I don't know. It's just the way a person moves when they with a significant other. You can already see them as a unit. Like, they already blend.
Starting point is 00:09:30 Like, they're already together. Like, when I see P and TEL, like, they're a unit. You know what I'm saying? Like, I'm saying? A pair. You know what I mean? Yeah. I don't, like, y'all look like the number 10.
Starting point is 00:09:40 Like, you tall. Stop, but stop. We're going to do with it falling. Like, you're out of control. What? Let's go. What? I mean, number 10 is a nice looking number.
Starting point is 00:09:52 Don't start. Because he walk around with security, you don't. Right? If my man let him let him go. Because he deserves it. What we're talking about, man. What we got? We do some all memes necessary.
Starting point is 00:10:04 Oh, my gosh. Oh, I missed this topic. I ain't talk about this week. I wasn't on breakfast club Monday when y'all spoke about this. What was the Drake's screen? What was the problem? Oh, God. Oh, we did talk about it a little bit.
Starting point is 00:10:14 A little bit. Well, it was three hours. You watch all three? No, I could. All three hours was the 20V1 thing? No, no, no. It was literally a variety show. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:10:26 So in the beginning, Drake, it was. It was like, it was very cinematic, too. You remember how he was on all those Iceman videos? Yeah. So in the beginning it was like just a setting. And then Drake walks out and he talks about how it was Steaks' ninth birthday. I think he said it was ninth birthday or the anniversary, nine years since they've been in business. Oh, so it was the anniversary.
Starting point is 00:10:42 That's why he was doing it. Oh, all right, all right. Yeah. So then they showed this collage of, like, videos of like all of Drake's, like, best steak moments and, like, you know, like the things he's been able to give away and do because he works with steak and the brand. Then Ben and Don comes on. By the way, very dope. To be able to get, how much, I saw it was like a million dollars or something he gave away, right? He gave away to the women.
Starting point is 00:11:03 He took a-to-women. That's two different things. Oh, two different things? I was going to keep away on the street. I know he bought a Birkin from Jordan Lucas. I'm all for the charity. I like, I like to see people giving away things. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:11:15 So they talked a lot about just his experience. Oh, shit. He gave away 500,000. That's dope. That's dope. That was, but that was at the event for the ladies. At the event for the ladies. Did he give away money on the stream?
Starting point is 00:11:27 I know so during Oh yeah he did for the 20B1 During the 20B1 he promised the goth girl That he would buy her mom a house That's our new dress Stuff like that just reminds me how white Drake is Like why are you attractive to the golf girl Like why you barking at the Hot Topics chick
Starting point is 00:11:44 But who have we known Drake to date that's out You know what I'm saying? Black girl, black girl Who was Drake with? I mean no no he's definitely been with some black girl But I'm just saying like that that's just a reminder of how white he is He was all he still in love with
Starting point is 00:11:57 Rihano. Yeah, come on. But his baby mom is... So he just likes everything. What's wrong with that? The golf girl, though? He likes everything. I ain't never seen nobody get bricked up over Wednesday at him, bro.
Starting point is 00:12:13 I guess. I don't know. Oh, she is? Yeah, she's a popular streamer. A lot of the, well, Jordan Lucas, I knew who she was, because she'd be doing, like, interviews and stuff. So a lot of her interviews, I'd be seeing. Like, she had one...
Starting point is 00:12:22 Remember Young Miami was talking about how much money a man ever spent on her? Yeah. That was on Jordan Lucas' stream. I'll say this, though, I think that the backlash for this was kind of stupid. I mean, you know, it's just like anything else. There's going to be people that like what you did, and there's going to be people that didn't like what you did. And this, you know, that's just all it is.
Starting point is 00:12:39 People are, the people that didn't like it are expressing it. It was for a certain audience. I don't think it's for Drake's audience. If you like Drake, you probably love this. Well, he sends a message to anybody that this is him. I don't have an issue with Drake, but I didn't care for this. I didn't care for. The dog chick had a bar.
Starting point is 00:12:57 No. It was sad tire. He was being funny. I'm with you, but the thing for me is like, um, yeah, Drake then, Drake then ran the gamut. Like, he didn't been around. Like, you know, you can't be barking for the golf. And it was doing that not like us.
Starting point is 00:13:13 For who? I don't know. The golf, girl? I bought for my, I won't even bark for, I, would I bark for my wife? Yeah, I probably bought my way. There you go. Yeah, I'll barks my wife. Yeah, correct.
Starting point is 00:13:22 I know, I just think this, I just think this is a lot of unnecessary backlash for nothing. Like, I don't, like, like, like, Yeah, and it's what... It's drink. Hey, I don't drink. Yo, her transformation is crazy. They were showing old pictures of her and, like, pictures of her nail. Yeah, I know.
Starting point is 00:13:39 She is like a whole different person. You can't believe that makeup shit. Oh, my God. But also, in body, she got her body together, too. What's her name? But that's a lot of women do that. But, I mean, the whole face, she looks like a completely different person without the makeup. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:13:52 But you wouldn't even be able to recognize her without makeup. Yeah, I mean, listen. And also, too, I think that we forget something about Drake. And there's something that Glass is Malone has said for a long time. And there's a lot of merit to it. He's a pop star. This is shit pop stars do. You know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:14:10 And by the way, hip-hop artists can do this too. It's not like people got to take their self so serious. You know what I mean? There's like hip-hop stars do funny things in different ways. This is just Drake's way of expressing his personality. You know what I mean? And being the pop star to the year. But even when he did that commercial, who was it?
Starting point is 00:14:27 Is that KD, the sneaker commercial? The guy hosted SNL, y'all. But that's what this felt like. Exactly. It was very, like, satire. And also, too, I think Drake tries to, not try, he does. Like, a lot of, like, the young, new youth culture things. He's done in that way.
Starting point is 00:14:42 Like, a lot of artists, you might hear them first with Drake or see them first with Drake. He's doing the same thing to me in the stream world. It's just, there's a certain point of it where I think about, like, I don't know. I just, some of it I was like, uh, but you still Drake, though. But he's an actor at the end of the day, too. Maybe it's hard for me to think about him that way, because I think about him, like, rap Drake, Jersey Drake, like, I don't. I'm going to be honest with you.
Starting point is 00:15:06 I don't know why Drake don't get more in his acting back. That's what I'm saying. Like, I'm like, I'm shocked that he hasn't, like, leaned all the way into something. He's probably trying to do it through things. No, no, but he has the ability to do it right now if he wanted to. Like, I'm surprised. Like, he could have easily. He doesn't his music videos all the time.
Starting point is 00:15:22 When he was with, when he was on Dave, that was hilarious. There was that other show they had from Kim. that that was funny. He had moments on S&L. That was funny. Like, he's like, I don't know. I'm shocked that he hasn't leaned all the way into that bag. He probably's over it, though. He wants to, he wants to, he wants to, no, I think you can clearly see he still loves it because he's doing stuff like this and the commercial. That's not like his personality. That's how I'm assuming. He plays into, like, he loves the character, like, sketch vibe. And I think that's why he likes the streamer in the internet community so much because they freely do that. Can I, can I ask you,
Starting point is 00:15:51 how do women feel about, like, the way he flaunts money and, like, gives it out? Oh, we drink it. Probably not. Like that. Like that. Like that. It's not, we love to see it. So that's not corny to you at all? No. I think with Drake, the difference is because there are men who lead money first and it can be corny. But I think with Drake, it comes, he's charming.
Starting point is 00:16:08 Yeah, but also, he's not doing this because he's trying to fuck any of these girls. Yeah, that's, he's doing it out of the goodness of his heart. I mean, I'm sure he might smash a couple, but he seemed like he genuinely like doing this type of thing. What's that song called? God's playing, yeah. All that money. At his birthday party, he gives out bags. And, like, this is not new.
Starting point is 00:16:28 If you got a bunch of money, what are you else you're going to do with it? I was just curious. When you hear about him dating, I forget the woman, she was someone's mom, but remember he shut down. Oh, yeah. To take her out on a date? Oh. Like, when you hear about- That was different, though.
Starting point is 00:16:43 But that's fly, though. You know, I was saying the other night, I hate the term tricking. Because tricking, tricking has a negative connotation to it, like you're doing something for somebody for something in exchange. Expectations in return, yeah. Feel it. It's just nice to make somebody else feel good. Like, you know, like Jordan. Jordan is such a bright spirit with so much electric energy.
Starting point is 00:17:06 And I just like seeing her feel good. I like seeing all these women feel good. Feel that bank account up. It's always good to have personal goals, but do something for somebody else. You might feel a little more than strapping a watch to your wrist or driving that new car, moving into that new place. That's fire.
Starting point is 00:17:22 Wasn't he fucking her? I mean, there were earlier. Girl, you argued with me earlier about, tricking. And I was saying it ain't tricking if she's worth it. I didn't argue with you. I would never argue against a man tricking. Y'all should trick. I was saying that if you're a man and you're used to live in a certain way, there's things that you're going to do. If I can afford to shut down Dodger Stadium and take you on a date, I'm going to do that instead of taking you to ice guy. What I'd be trying to call out is the hypocrisy because you'll say that. But then when people are having a
Starting point is 00:17:49 conversation about women asking for things, it's like, if you ask for things, you're a bird. You see the difference? The difference you're trying to make is he just does it because he has I'm doing it out the goodness of my heart. This is the way I live. I ask you on a date. I'm the man. And I say, yo, you want to go out. You say, yeah, now I'm about to show you a good time.
Starting point is 00:18:05 That's the difference when you coming to me saying, why don't you shut down Dodger Stadium and set me up a dinner and have me a private chef and buy me a perket. But if a woman is used to dating, like not Drake-esque, right? But you're used to dating. You shouldn't be used to dating. No. I have friends that only date men. Of certain. Probably so.
Starting point is 00:18:25 but they maintain horse. Horse. Why are you coming about horse? Hor divorce. Hor divorce. They only want to do you. You just think word de verb. Hore derbs.
Starting point is 00:18:33 Initially. I know I said probably so. But why? Odubs. Odubs. What's it called? Hore d'urbs. Hore d'urbs.
Starting point is 00:18:40 But why are that horse? Because listen, I'm going to tell you, I know. No, there is horses. I want all the women to understand this. If you've ever dated three men in the same industry, you're a whore in setting. What if it's a cross industry? But it's like same pay bracket. If you fuck three football players, trust me, you're known as a whore in the NFL.
Starting point is 00:18:59 If you've fucked three NBA players, trust me you're known as a whore in the NBA. If you fuck three rappers, trust me, you're known as a whore in the rap industry. Guarantee. Take the industries out of it. But what if it's a woman who says, I only want to date men who can provide ABC and D, no matter if you are doctor or a dentist or NFL players? But that's dumb though because people get down bad. Like, and some women are not realistic.
Starting point is 00:19:22 Or behavior. But some women are okay with if I'm with you. Get down bad. I don't know. Nobody want no down bad pussy. Exactly. Y'all think people want that? Y'all do understand trauma is real.
Starting point is 00:19:31 Y'all understand energy transfers. You understand projection? I don't want no pussy projecting on me. Y'all go keep that down bad stuff to yourself. I don't think you hear what I said. But men vote pick women out of the crevices of nothing all day long and build them up. Y'all, not y'all. I mean, I do you.
Starting point is 00:19:49 Certain men love that. So I don't want to hear that. Yeah. I don't agree with that. Because we, like, there are women in this industry that are down bad, but they get passed around. And those dudes love to flaunt them for some of them. You know what I mean? Girls in L.A. got followers and don't got no bag.
Starting point is 00:20:02 That's what I'm saying. And a man will get with a rapper will get with that girl, boss her up, let her start her little online following, buy her bed, buy her the apartment, buy her the car. And then run around on her crazy because you can't call her. You can't name me one woman that has allegedly been ran through in this industry whose wife's up right now. Why do those women have to be. I can't name them who? I don't want to say. We can't believe it.
Starting point is 00:20:25 We can't believe it. They say B. No. Yeah, they do. She's not wrong. Mm-mm. She's not wrong. They did.
Starting point is 00:20:36 See, that's not quite, but true. That's not true. No, we're not. We're going to believe the name she said, but that's not true. Why not? That's not true. That's not true. You can only name like one.
Starting point is 00:20:49 What? No. The industry. I never heard that one. They're kissing. You know, you literally see it. Never heard that one. What?
Starting point is 00:20:57 Y'all be popping shit. You ain't never acts like, yo. I don't talk to them like that, but here's my thing. Here's my thing. That's just that whole- That only works for her. See? See?
Starting point is 00:21:08 You gotta be a woman that has more than any guy you fucking with to be able to live that type of life. I mean, I guess you- You gotta be a woman that guy- They're off limits. They got more than the guys they fucked with. Why are you making up this rule, though? I'm not. I'm just telling you how it goes.
Starting point is 00:21:30 I'm not. It's a different power dynamic. It is. You're not wrong about that. But when she was. No, I'm not. Before she got a. Before she was a .
Starting point is 00:21:39 Yo, stop saying these names. You got to bleep these names. No, no, no. But that's not the first person that she talked about. Exactly. These are just examples that go along. All I'm simply saying is, the power dynamic is different when the woman got more than the man.
Starting point is 00:21:53 And that's rare. It's rare when the woman has more than the man. That is very true. If you got less than the man and you got fucked by three people in the industry, very true. Hoare. By the way, I'm not saying, I look at it like that. I'm just saying that's how people perceive you.
Starting point is 00:22:08 I will never argue against a man tricking. I just think y'all be hypocrites because it'd be like, yeah, we trick when we want to and it's okay, depending on who the man is. Then on the other hand, it's like, if a woman wants too much, she's bird. Here's the thing, a man that's spending on you is not tricking, especially if the man already has money. That's his lifestyle. That man is used to living a certain way. Exactly. That's his lifestyle. So why can't be the one be that had come she can have the same lifestyle with me? She can't if she got more than the men?
Starting point is 00:22:36 Why can she only date men who are used to a certain lifestyle because she knows what she expects? Does she live that kind of lifestyle? Yeah, I, I, no, no. Can she live that lifestyle without a man? Yes, let me tell you y'all something right now. None of my, literally, I'm telling you right now, none of my friends who deal with men that do things for them can't get it triple double on their own. And I mean they own businesses, big businesses,
Starting point is 00:22:56 multiple cities, multiple states, period. But they're not sitting. I can show y'all some. So then why do they ask for it? Because there are certain men who get with you. If you got to ask for it, you ain't got it. There's certain men that. If you got to ask for it, you ain't got it.
Starting point is 00:23:10 There's multiple reasons. Number one, if you're a woman that has it, a man will get with you and try to humble you by not doing certain things. And then now you've got to ask. If you got it, you don't care. Here's the thing. If you're a woman who actually has it, you ain't looking for nothing material from that man.
Starting point is 00:23:25 The only thing that man can provide you was actual love and companionships. You ain't after for getting me. I can't give you short with that. No. Because I know women that love their men to death, and if that man ever fell, she would pick him right back up.
Starting point is 00:23:39 But when they met, he was able to maintain a lifestyle that she was providing for herself, period. I promise you, if you are a woman, And you got to throw a name out because... I can't. Y'all aren't going to know them. They're regular people.
Starting point is 00:23:50 You ain't had no problem throwing them other people names. They're not celebrities. If you are a woman who has their own, you are not looking for anything material from a man. That's true. I agree with that. You're actually looking for real companions. I agree. You ain't asking for no barking.
Starting point is 00:24:05 At the same time, though, you... I don't even know to buy a burkeet. You would go to... I don't know what they sell that type of shit. I personally don't like burkings. They like old great-law bags. My point is, it's a lifestyle thing. It's not like a you got to do this, you got to do that.
Starting point is 00:24:21 You know a lot of successful women. How many of them, it's two sides of the coin. It's like a lot of successful women will date somebody with nothing because they don't have a choice and they can't find anybody else. All the successful women I'm looking for, you know what they want their man to do? Being therapy. They want you to be a healed version. I don't ever hear, all the super successful women I know
Starting point is 00:24:40 who've actually done work on their self. I promise you, the conversations they have with me is never about how much money he got. What can you buy me? It's literally like, is that thing in therapy? Is that motherfucker doing the work on himself? If you're calling your successful friend about somebody, I guarantee you they're not asking those questions because they're, they're like, if Charlemagne is calling me, that person is even if they don't have all the money in the world, he knows what I'm bringing to the table? Like, I promise you that. But if they were to meet somebody randomly off the street, you're going to want to know.
Starting point is 00:25:06 So what do you do for work? What is your, like, these are your- That's just you're trying to get to know somebody, though. Yes, but you're trying to get to know that for a reason. You want to understand if I'm doing. this for myself. Where do you come in to play? Even if you can't match it, that's the normal conversation. If you already have, you really looking for that nice guy that can love you and you're not asking. Yeah, no. So you're only with your man because he got a loins, his loins
Starting point is 00:25:31 open? No, I'm not only with him because of that. But this time around when I was dating, I did say to myself, I want someone that is doing things for themselves because I dealt with someone who didn't have a lot going on and it was hell. So when you was two niggas low about a year ago, First of all, a year... You was two nigger low. Give me at least like 2023. No, no, no. This was definitely 2024, early 2025.
Starting point is 00:25:55 But when you was two nigger low... Both of these niggas had something going on. They both had... In this season of my life, I didn't deal with anybody that couldn't meet me at a certain point. And not even just financially, even if it was just like, what are you doing? Like, what's your career path?
Starting point is 00:26:10 Are you passionate about something? Those type of people sit and think about therapy and the type of person I want to be, the type of parent I want to be, the type of husband I want to be. So when you were dating two dudes that both had something going on, why did one dude win over the other dude? It might have been small things like actual attraction or do I really see a life with this person? Because also, too, it wasn't that one had more. Won't you just tell the truth? No, it gets to a point where I... Because somebody did win your heart. Because once you begin to become... Is y'all play basketball against each other late one night?
Starting point is 00:26:40 Once you become intentional, it's so dumb. Once you become intentional, once you become intentional, You start really thinking about like, all right, how was this person raised? What's the family dynamic? What would my household look like with this person? Can I sit back and shut up and let him lead me? What's his vision for a family? Like, it's a lot that goes into it that it just starts dropping people off. Y'all refrigerator stay empty, though.
Starting point is 00:27:02 We don't live together. Oh, y'all don't? No. Oh, I thought I lived together. No, I'm not moving in with anybody until I'm married. I'm not doing that again. Until you're married? We spend a lot of time.
Starting point is 00:27:12 We basically have our own. separate places and we split time, but I did that before. Do you women understand what they be giving the men? I did that before. Before they get married. My last relationship. I won't do that again. Wait, wait, wait, Sean.
Starting point is 00:27:25 I think you should live with the person after you get engaged. Yes. Because you can have to try out the whole little situation. I'm not for sure. And even right now, like, we do things where like we might spend weeks together at his place or weeks together at my place or maybe a month or two. Like, we experience being together living in a space, but I am not moving someone We're not putting names on leases.
Starting point is 00:27:46 We're not putting cars. We're not doing none of that stuff until I got something that's like solid. Like it's not happening. Not doing that. I made that rule for myself when I got out of that last year. Yeah, but you let them sweat on you. Yeah, but that's because I know. Like girls be letting guys sweat on them.
Starting point is 00:28:00 Hit raw. Be putting their whole cock in their mouth. Sometimes eating ass, but then it'll be like, I don't want to live with them. You know, that's shit crazy as fun. Now, I agree that you shouldn't live with them. Yeah. But I just want you to think about all the other things you're doing with this man.
Starting point is 00:28:15 I got a pick and choose. If I got a pick and choose, we can stay separate houses and guys got to stop playing. But I guess that's what I'm really saying, man. Guys got to stop playing, yo. Like, and I really mean this. There's a lot of good women out here. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:28:30 And if you got a good woman, what do you wait? Oh, you think I'm a good woman. Not really. But I'm trying to help you out. You're wrong. What are you waiting? I'm just saying, like, seriously. Like, what are you waiting on?
Starting point is 00:28:40 But y'all had to talk, though, right? But I told you with me, we came into. to it. Like, that was, he was like, yo, I know this, this and this, but here's what I'm on. This is what I want. Are you here? And I'm like, yeah. Listen, by the way, it can go either way with you. Like, I can honestly be like, all right, if he don't propose, I get it. You know what I'm saying? But if he do, I'll be like, alright, you know what I mean? If that's what you really want to do with yourself. I'm just telling you the truth. I'm somebody you don't want to lose, baby.
Starting point is 00:29:09 It's only, the only reason I think Lauren is remotely a good woman is because of her mom. It has nothing to do with her. I promise you it because of my mom. She comes from good stock. All right. But her? I can't even say that about you. Her? Can I say something though? Yes. Like, you guys talk a lot about like the materialistic stuff. To me, I've never been a materialistic girl. Yeah. But I feel like people forget how hard relationships can be when things get bad though. Yeah. But people like when you're saying like I need a guy that has this, that and the third, like people be forgetting really what it is to stay in a relationship, though.
Starting point is 00:29:47 It's not the- It's not like, can you buy me this, can you buy me that? It's always about like your mentality. So I've been in a very long-term relationship. I've been where things have gotten really, really bad. And I felt like I was by myself in that. So that's why now it's like, no, I want a partnership. And my partner, I want them to have a certain mentality about I can get out of this even if I can't. Or if I can't, I know how to communicate with another person.
Starting point is 00:30:11 where we can get out of this. But that's why having your own is important because you don't want to become a dependent. Yeah. Because then what if you have to be with this person because they're funding your lifestyle or paying your rent or your mortgage, whatever the fuck. I've never experienced that.
Starting point is 00:30:24 Like I've always been a person that is like making my own way. Have I had people do things for me because they see that and they like, yo, I want to help out? Yeah, that's normally the case. But I've never been a person that's been solely just depending on somebody. I have friends that live that way. And some of them are loving it. Some of them are not so happy and they're figuring out other things.
Starting point is 00:30:44 How do those birds feel that you left in this? I never was a bird. All right, man. See, since we can't have no honest comments. I was never a bird. We move on to another topic. Taylor, we're going on to another topic. I see your own pictures, Lauren.
Starting point is 00:31:01 I was not a bird. You might not have had a bird mentality, but boy. That's what they love, though. It's like when you get the middle point. It's like, she's not a bird. I didn't see no middle point. I saw. Always been a middle point.
Starting point is 00:31:10 I saw it. I'm the little bit of point right now. You know, and them shit be first coming out the egg and that little head be thinking up in that shit. That's the fuck I saw. When you used to weigh them overalls with them braids, God damn. Okay, well. Last of all, my braids were.
Starting point is 00:31:28 What are you laughing so hard for? I just say. You know what you know how they ain't. But it seemed like he said something truthful because your face showed everything. Because he just be talking. I don't know. He just be talking. My braids.
Starting point is 00:31:39 So this, braids fire, okay? Had nothing to be in a bird, and I was not a bird. All right, man. I, listen. Just because a black woman leads her edges, she's a bird? Your edges was not lady. My age was. Now we're talking crazy.
Starting point is 00:31:53 Now we're talking crazy, Lauren. You know these pictures exist online? I will show you right. New growth and all. That shit was crazy. That shit looked like you used to get your hair braided, then brush it. There was early days, though. It was okay.
Starting point is 00:32:07 No, when you first of all, those type of braids are something. supposed to give bohenean pocahannis like it was giving that okay with the good hair why is this a topic usher is going yeah did you see this no really so so look don't the man work at the store but you open you held the door to just walk through it why are you waiting for the guy to come and to hold the door while you walk out that's unnecessary usher that's so i'm necessary He couldn't just walk through. Nah, fuck all that. I'm Usher.
Starting point is 00:32:47 Nah, fuck all that, yo. First of all, his name is Usher. So you hold the door. Listen, man. Let me tell you something about Usher and Raymond. I was saying. Usher Raymond the fourth is one of the last superstars left. Okay?
Starting point is 00:33:01 He's one of the last people who still carries himself like a superstar. Do you remember when Mariah Carey came to the Breakfast Club years ago with her own lighting team? I wasn't there. And Mariah Carey. had her own lighting team set up the lights in the studio and then turn our lights down. And I said, Mariah, they're not going to be able to see us. She said, that's the whole point.
Starting point is 00:33:21 You know, okay? I've seen Usher walk in a room. This was years ago at the I HeartRado Music Festival. I seen Usher walk in a room dancing. Like, oh shit, like that's what you expect to see when Usher walk in a room. Back Joe said that too. When Usher was on his podcast, he said Usher walked in.
Starting point is 00:33:39 He took him to like a hoodspy. Usher walked in, he was like, he was levitating. I've seen it. Yo, I've seen Usher do that twice in my life. I've seen Usher walk into the, it was the radio, I don't know, the backstage green room area at the I-heart radio music festival. He walked in doing all, like, walking the door, doing all this shit. I'm like, oh, shit.
Starting point is 00:33:56 But I think he's just an artist. So when you're an artist and you either just left stage or you're about to get on stage, you kind of like warming up. I've seen him do that again. We were in South Africa. It was, what was we at? Johannesburg. He walked into the party and it was like, now mind you, this was a party that was very small.
Starting point is 00:34:16 It wasn't even a lot of people there. Like, it was a lot of stars in the building, superstars. He walked in like, I am the superstar. The DJ was playing his music. No way. So I ain't got no problem with Usher making another Usher hold the door for him. Maybe that's just like comfort zone. I'm mad at him.
Starting point is 00:34:38 Usher. When he walking in and taking pictures, like, you want to get the good, he want to get a good shot. But ain't that a little crazy that he was fun with the woman. Exactly. Like, no, he opened it for her, didn't he? No, she opened it. Eventually, he grabbed it. And left out and held the door.
Starting point is 00:34:54 How he held it for her? No, she opened her. Listen, I wouldn't do it, but I ain't mad at Usher for doing it. I'm not Usher. I didn't make confessions. Yeah, you damn sure. Okay. I didn't make 8701.
Starting point is 00:35:05 All right. I didn't have everybody flying to Vegas. Usher with that chest out. That's how I did that this weekend. I did, you want to see? No, I don't. Look, I don't have time for your bullshit. How do you feel about women going to the Usher concert?
Starting point is 00:35:19 I think it's fine. Now, why would you do that? The band are the only people that got the problem. He was done there scaring them. And I would say my sister. Why are you listening? I got a chess, girl. I'll be working now, girl.
Starting point is 00:35:29 But you're talking about. So right now you go to the Lsh's concert, he wants to bring you on stage. No way in hell. Yeah, no way. Yeah, no way. She's a liar. She's a liar. She's a liar.
Starting point is 00:35:38 She's a liar. Why, they all lie. I know her ass off. That's one thing I'm very, very, very for sure about. I would never do nothing that loud, ever, period. Never. You're on the breakfast. I'm not there trusting and throbbing and something.
Starting point is 00:35:55 Shut up to Lauren. I mean, you could be like the woman that just does the little whatever. But if you feel it in your body, you're letting body. Usher walk upon you and that shit, you're going to be gone. And I'm not doing it. I would do a cherry thing. I wouldn't do the cherry thing either. No, the cherry thing is crazy.
Starting point is 00:36:12 I wouldn't do that. The cherry thing is great. Your guy is big though. He might eat the cherry because he's a- Oh, my God. He seemed like he'd be hungry during the show. That's crazy. You got to go out.
Starting point is 00:36:21 Like, I promise you. I'm just saying, he seemed hungry. I'm not even, like, I'm going to say. He's a lot. He's like, you know what I think it is. It's because he's like to, yeah, because you're little and stubby. If you're feeling it in your body,
Starting point is 00:36:35 you're just mad because I'm in, Fine, tall, and chocolate. He would be an office alignment. I'd be in running back. You wouldn't be on a fucking field. You have no body build. You have no nothing. Like, you're just there.
Starting point is 00:36:48 You know what you would be doing? You'd be dropping your kid off. You'll be dropping your kid off the kid off. Okay. Get off the field. I think because I don't show it off. Y'all don't know what's going on. I've seen enough, baby.
Starting point is 00:36:58 It's giving quiet on the creek. Okay. What's on the creek? You cannot do that. You can't say quiet on the creek and do the move and then be like, no, I wouldn't do that. And you can't. You got heavy.
Starting point is 00:37:08 Can't do that, Lauren. That's stupid. It was quick. No, it's crazy. There's nothing quiet about the- You got Abby's two. No, I don't. He had a, had an urge to have a deep V-cut too. You're motherfucking right. You showing cleavage is crazy. I know we're very inclusive, they did them, but put on that. It was a tank top under the jacket. Yeah. That's probably what Usher got on. He probably got on a tank top under the jacket. I think it's a flesh-tone shirt.
Starting point is 00:37:30 There ain't no flesh-tone. No, his is a shirt. You want me to be short and stocky so bad, and that's crazy. No, you short and thick and rich. Hey, acknowledge it. Don't make Taylor jealous. That's why you be mad at my man, though. Taylor be hating. Taylor be hating. Taylor be hating.
Starting point is 00:37:46 Taylor is fine. Taylor be hating. Damn, I'm going to send you something. What, how somebody said. No, it was like something about being thicker. Yeah, shit get thick, but Charlotte thicker, nigga. No. You wish.
Starting point is 00:37:59 And my guy. That is crazy. That is crazy. Starting point is 00:41:05 I'm fucking... Hold on. No. I'm brown or whatever. I'm black. Yeah, you just... I'm dark-skinned. Hmm? I'm dark scared.
Starting point is 00:41:15 Yeah. But are you actually a nigger? I can't call you where you come from. I'm not really, dude. You were taking it back by the hard ER? Yeah. Yeah. Like that was so crazy.
Starting point is 00:41:29 No, it's not. And y'all know exactly what young boy mean, man. Why y'all acting like y'all don't know a young boy mean? It's funny. But it's like, why he's saying like that you're playing it again, man. Y'all ever know bonnet black? I'm black. No.
Starting point is 00:41:45 I'm brown or whatever. I'm black. Yeah, you just. I'm dark skin. Hmm? I'm a dark skin. Yeah. But are you actually a nigger?
Starting point is 00:41:55 I got to call you where you come from. Shout out to Marco, man. It's true. I know what he's saying. Can you go do this? But like, huh? Do funny Marco, like recent. I might do.
Starting point is 00:42:06 I fuck him all go. That's my guy. That's my guy. I fuck with Marco. Okay, that's my, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, hello father. Shut the fuck up, Marco. He didn't have been to the show?
Starting point is 00:42:20 Yeah. That's why he got in trouble with fucking Fredo Bang, because he came to the show. That Jaylon Hertz was handsome. Yes. You might have been. He tried to take me out and everything. Oh, you went and tell him. You weren't talking to him.
Starting point is 00:42:33 He was flirting with him. He was. I don't know. You wasn't trying to take me out, if I was gay, he would not be my time. What you like? Oh, okay. Jalen Hertz. He's cool.
Starting point is 00:42:41 Okay, okay, okay. Delo hurts is fine. I'm sure. Marco said Jalen Hertz was handsome. And then to be funny because everybody on line started calling him gay, he unfollowed everybody and followed Jalen Hertz. So that was the only person he was following. And then when he started following people back,
Starting point is 00:42:59 I guess a couple of months later, or whenever it was, he forgot to follow Frato Bang back. So when Frato Bang saw him sitting with young boy, he thought that Marco unfollowed him because of young boy because I guess young boy and Fredo got something so Frato left a message telling Marco I'm gonna see you
Starting point is 00:43:17 right Wow rap is sensitive I'm telling us to now that Fradon know the story I'm sure he's like oh shit I didn't know that's what happened I ain't that serious
Starting point is 00:43:27 rappers are sensitive very fucking sensitive some of the most sensitive people that's why they got disc record is not like he's sensitive but he made a disc record against you yeah he did
Starting point is 00:43:36 Yeah, young boy. I remember that. It was good. Did he ever say anything about it? I hope he liked it. Oh, a remix. I made a remix. Oh, yeah, I'm going to show you how to hackaddonking.
Starting point is 00:43:44 Yeah. Do you think you've been just the most as a media personality by rapists? Beat up, too. He ain't have to do that. I don't know. Wendy got mentioned in a lot of the shit, too. She has? Yeah?
Starting point is 00:43:59 Yeah. Tupac mentioned Wendy. That's cool. That's cool. That's cool. That's cool. That's true. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:44:04 Yeah. Wendy Williams. Don't know me. Oh, God. How do you know the, how do you know the rats? Girl better leave me alone by your radio station and send you a home. You study the rap? You know the rap.
Starting point is 00:44:15 Put that up. You know it a rap myth. It's like crazy. You were there when that time went to jump. No, but she had it as a drop. It's like, that's why I be always telling you all the artist's drops. She had it as a drop. And she would play it all the time.
Starting point is 00:44:30 It would be like a sweeper. Wendy Williams, you don't know me. I'm not your punch. With the lunch spray. That's what it was? Huh? The lunch break freestyle? No.
Starting point is 00:44:39 It says Wendy, it should be Will Smith, Wendy Williams' disc. Okay. Will Smith, Wendy. I don't know what song that was from. Where was she working? What market was she in when she was playing? She was in New York on W. I don't know when Will did that record, but she used to play it on WBLS when she was on 107.5, and she was syndicated.
Starting point is 00:44:58 Uh, she was only like nine markets. Was she in Philly? She was in Philly. She was in Philly. She was in Philly. She was in Columbia, South Carolina. You have quite a few. Quite a few.
Starting point is 00:45:08 I think you might have the most. I feel like the Beanie Segal one get. That one in... Popcon just did one. Fragile Star gets... No, he's talking about actual mentions and songs. Oh, I'm talking about people pulling up. Oh, it's called...
Starting point is 00:45:17 The song's called Mr. Nice guy. Hold up. Popcorn. Popcon just did one, like in January. No, but you pulled up on you? No, no, no. No, no. It was in a song.
Starting point is 00:45:25 Not yet. They said it was a this. I don't know what the fuck. I want to eat by why red, I don't really no chat like Charlie men. That's probably why you'd be mad at my boyfriend, too. You've had some really interesting interactions with people from Philly.
Starting point is 00:45:39 I used to do radio in Philly. I love Philly. I love Philly. Let me hear it, Taylor. Let me hear it. It's from Philly. But it's not the, I'm looking at the lyrics for it. Born and raised?
Starting point is 00:45:50 Yep. On the playgrounds where you spend most of his days? Basically. Getting off fat, eating fast food? Stop! You're wondering how you don't read this. You were out of control. He's good, man.
Starting point is 00:46:04 He's got a gift. You need to limit your jokes. Like, maybe, like, two per, like, interactant. What do you mean? Because, like, it's unfair. He doesn't, he don't even know him. You don't even know. I spoke to him before.
Starting point is 00:46:14 You say hi to everybody, Charlemagne. You don't know him to be joking. We spoke on the phone. Yeah, because he was like, yo, put that nigga on the phone. Like, tell him stop playing with me. And he got on the other thing. Like, what is it wrong with you? Hello?
Starting point is 00:46:28 Hello. Hang it up. Here, let's build. That's out of here. Listen. To come home to someone that acts like you. It's so fun. It's ridiculous.
Starting point is 00:46:37 You act like it's not the fun. I don't get a break, God. I like it's not fun. Did you find it? Yeah. Do we hear it? Let me see. On the radio, walk right past me.
Starting point is 00:46:48 I'm a nice guy why y'all harassing me, huh? On the radio, they be over exaggerating, so blase, but they be aggravating, be agitating me, would they be waiting and hate me, they hate making me crazy, but I've taken it patiently. People be messing with me. I want to send a message to him a lesson to him. Teach him a lesson quickly. I've never heard the time.
Starting point is 00:47:07 I've never been. My bless you. My bless you. Calm down, Willie. I want to stop the bomb now, really. For your mom, Billy. You show us a song? Hey, you show us a song.
Starting point is 00:47:22 Face it, that he's a disc that he didn't in. I'll show you all, kind of Larry. This is crazy. This is crazy. Will's a nice guy. Why he's so nice eye. Oh, this is. My daughter like he was a white guy.
Starting point is 00:47:37 Not like the rest. He's a private flight guy. Why if I were gay on Friday night eye. There you go. Gosh, that was a crazy ball. No long, the hell long. Hold on. Roll that back.
Starting point is 00:47:49 That was crazy. Roll it right there. You got to come up. Roll it back. Roll it back. Will Smith is a fucking legend. It should always be respected as such. Press play.
Starting point is 00:48:01 Oh, no. Go back a little bit more, Taylor. Why? Will's so nice, I'd let him date my daughter, like he was a white guy. Listen to him. Like the rest, he's a private flight guy. Why, if I were gay on Friday night, I'd like, Larry Elda. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:48:17 Sorry. Yeah. Okay. Will's a nice guy. Why, he's so nice. I'd let him date my daughter like he was a white guy. He's a private white guy. Why, if I were gay on Friday night eye, Larry Yelda.
Starting point is 00:48:29 Why don't even put the lyrics out, though? Okay. Here come. Here come. First play, first play, first play. Oh, you got a ringer back. That was the next ball. The next ball is the Wendy's ball.
Starting point is 00:48:39 The lyrics are delayed. I wouldn't say that. If you were gay on, right. That's right. Wendy Williams, you don't know me. I'm not your punching bag. You won't move me up. Girl better leave me alone.
Starting point is 00:48:52 Goat by your radio station and send you on wheels. Why is this delaying? That's it. Shout out to Big Willie. Y'all going to stop playing with you. Y'all going to stop playing with me. Big fucking Willie. You're the only one, and I love Will Smith, but you're the only one that knew that song.
Starting point is 00:49:10 I had never knew he had a song like this. Big fucking Willie. See, you know why this record is dope? This record is dope because it's a combination of First Prince and Will Smith. Now, I'm on a record of saying Fresh Prince is dope. Will Smith is whack. But this right here, Mr. Nice Guy? You had a little M&M feel to it.
Starting point is 00:49:29 Will was like to go. Eminem feel to it. This is when people could be free. No, that I was actually kind of fine. People could be free. If I was gay on a Friday night, why, I, I was crazy. Wide eyes. If he was just gay on a Friday night, shout out to Big Willis.
Starting point is 00:49:48 Let's pay some bills. People do not know this one. He didn't try to tell us for a while. I know. Playing with Big Will if you want to. That's why he was upset at all. He was never upset at me. Will is my guy.
Starting point is 00:49:59 I am a pink, my last name. He does not. Fuck what you like that. Pinkett, Smith, Winfrey, Know. caught him. Yeah, but he don't fuck with you like that. Who? Will Smith? All right. When they were here, he was like, all right, Charlotte. What you mean?
Starting point is 00:50:12 Who? I don't say he don't like him, but I'm not saying he don't like him. That's my guy. Shout out the Big Willie. I can see Jada liking you. That's my, I love Jada too. Yeah, because she can get with you, she can understand with him. I feel like him got the tolerance for you. What you mean?
Starting point is 00:50:27 You have been much. Well, from Philly. Well, like the joking clown. No, we like to fight. He ain't about to joke with you too much. Listen, shout out the Willie. Shout out the Big Will. You're going to be the next Chris Rock. Seeing who?
Starting point is 00:50:40 Will? I don't know. It's been a couple of years. I ain't seen Will in a car. You haven't seen him since we reported on his songs that came out here. I've spoken to him since then. Oh, yeah? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:50:52 And how do he feel about that? You think he saw it? What's Will Smith? Yes. Yes. Right. Exactly. Like, what?
Starting point is 00:50:59 And we weren't joking. I said the shit was fire. Charlie, you see everything. So he saw it. I said the shit was fire, okay? Will's shit fired. That was fire we looked through just now, okay? That was actually pretty good.
Starting point is 00:51:10 I know that. You all were trying to hate on Will Smith. No, but when he was the one that was like... He played on Will Smith. You already told you. What do you say? I am the, who does it be like, I am the flag. I'm the stars.
Starting point is 00:51:27 Why can't he be this flag in the stars? Okay. Why can't he be these things? You all just be hating on shout out to Wilson. I didn't say Will Smith. I said Andrew making fun of him. I am a Pinkett Smith, Winfrey, Knowles Carter. You're married into the Pinkett.
Starting point is 00:51:43 Okay. Let's pay some bills. Let's do some church announcements. Lauren LaRosa. Yep. You have any church announcements? Just the daily podcast. It's a daily podcast Monday through Friday.
Starting point is 00:52:01 6 a.m. You can check out the episodes. Oh, 6 a.m. You can check out the episodes. We do like bite-sized breakdowns of like everything that is big, major news, trending exclusives there to and exclusive conversations. So if you want to hear a little bit more of me and the latest, that's where you catch us at. Brought to you by Black Effect Podcast Network.
Starting point is 00:52:20 And, you know, you get to know a little bit more about her as well, like not just the stories. That's true. Yeah, we check in behind the scenes of the grind. So you do get to spend a little bit more time with me. That's my favorite part in the podcast. Personally, where we just talk through what I'm thinking. It's weird because I be talking to nobody, but I'll be talking to nobody, but I'll be talking. the people. But that's how you know you're a good personality. That's what, that was one of
Starting point is 00:52:40 Wendy Williams' scrimps. She can sit in that studio by herself and put on a whole four-hour show and, you know, wouldn't miss the beat. That's when you know you're a great personality. That's a very rare skill set. There's only a few people I know that I can do that. I think it's a little different now because more people practice like that, meaning like if you're on screen for five, six hours, you know, but even then you still got your chat, right? So you're talking and responding, but to be on the radio where you can't see nobody and nobody can see you and you just talking and just you and the sound effect person in there, it's a different skill. It's a different skill.
Starting point is 00:53:15 It's a different skill. It's a different skill. You got to hone in it. It'd be too much, I'd be going too long. You know, you talk, sometimes you just talk too fast and you repeat something that you already said, but you say it differently. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:53:28 And I want to tell everybody, October 10th, 10, 10, well, first of all, I want to say thank you to everybody who came out to my 11th annual back-to-school driving fish fry in Mouskona, South Carolina. I salute to sprayground for giving me such a great discount on backpacks. Really appreciate y'all. Salute to all the vendors that came out, provided free food for everybody. Thank you, thank you, thank you. And also, I want to tell you all that October 10th, 10th, 10th World Mental Health Day, I'm doing my Mental Wealth Expo in Newark, New Jersey.
Starting point is 00:53:55 I don't even remember what year this is. This might be our fourth year, fifth year. I think it's our fifth year. But my fifth annual Mental Wealth Expo at the Joelle and that, Diane Bloom, Weldison, and Vince Center, salute to my good sister, Debbie Brown. She is curating everything this year, and we're focusing on solutions this year.
Starting point is 00:54:14 You know, we've gotten together the last few years and just had conversations about how to eradicate the stigma around mental health. But this year is all solution-oriented. So go to www.mentalwealthexpo. com to register to be there. It's a free event. So we'll see you 1010 in Newark, New Jersey.
Starting point is 00:54:33 Alex, you got church announcements? Oh, yes. Guys, you guys know my live show that I do every Sunday a.m. Mornings. It's really dope seeing some of the brilliant idiots fans, a flagrant fans calling in. It's fire. Just head over to a.m.m.mournings.com on YouTube. We do it every Sunday at 11 a.m. And then also I have my tennis clinic for anybody who wants to play tennis or you already play. The next event is August 22nd. Just head over to The All Love Club.com. Buy a ticket there. And. Oh, wait. I have it. Oh, you did already? Yeah. Oh, shit, my bad. Can I say something?
Starting point is 00:55:07 Yeah. Why are you staring at me like that? Wait, what you got to do? So I am doing a YouTube series. It's called Made It Series where I'm asking people how they made it since they call me Taylor Made it. I'm just doing a little twist on it.
Starting point is 00:55:19 She's doing a little twist on it. No, she does have her silly-ass jokes. She does have a series. She's already been posting it. Yeah. It's called Made It Series. And it's just getting people's perspective of what the definition of made it to them is.
Starting point is 00:55:34 It doesn't even have to be about career. It can be about just being, what success is to them in life. This is a good time. I didn't talk about this yet. Pull up the highest paid podcasters because Lauren had a question and there was a discussion around. How you monetize outside of YouTube? The Forbes list? Yeah, the question was there was no black women on the Forbes list.
Starting point is 00:56:00 Oh, yeah. And I said, is it that the advertising or corporate people don't want to work with? with the black women in their content. Like, they don't see the value in it. It's the highest paid podcasts is of 2006. No need to get in the numbers, but let's just look at... Oh, this was the list where they put you. I was on there.
Starting point is 00:56:19 Wait. You were number... Well, it don't even matter. Joe Rogan was number one. I can say you the PDF template. Okay. Scroll it. Joe Rogan was number one.
Starting point is 00:56:27 Let me see the... Pull up the pictures, Taylor. Yeah. Joe Rogan was number one. Travis Kelsey and Jason Kelsey were on there. Jay Shetty's on there. Amy Polar, Tucker Carlson, Alex Cooper, I'm on there, Joe Button is on there, Steve Bartlett Diary of the CEO, the Pod. The Pots of America guys are on there. SmartList is on there. A lot of the usual suspects. But everybody was having a discussion, at least in my algorithm, on my algorithm, about why there were no black women on the list. And I want y'all to know this is not about race. Mm-hmm. It's not. In no way, shape, or form. Sorry to tell you all that.
Starting point is 00:57:04 Okay, it's not about race. And I meant to send you this because I had actually wrote these things down. This is about infrastructure. And when you read about all of these different individuals, you will see that, okay? I sent this to Angela Ride. That's why I'm reading it. Number one, you have to own or control your IP, which mostly all podcasts do, because you want to have a significant stake in your show in the business around your show.
Starting point is 00:57:33 And that's the most important thing, guys. You have to have a business around your podcast. What is the business around your podcast? When I say business, what am I talking about? I'm talking about you have to build multiple revenue streams around your pods. You have to have a licensing deal with a platform, right? That's what Breakfast Club has with Netflix, right? That's what a lot of these shows have.
Starting point is 00:57:54 They have licensing deals with these platforms. And then you got ads and you got sponsorships and you might be signed to a podcast network. or you might be an owner of a podcast network called the Black Effect. You got to have merch, right? You got to have live events. You got to have products. You got to have at least two or three of those things going around your podcast to really generate the revenue. And most importantly, guys, because it's only like a few things.
Starting point is 00:58:21 Those two things are just named. And most importantly, you have to have a massive, measurable audience reach. I think, you know, when I look at that, when I think about it, you say, And we think about no black women on the list. The only podcast hosted by a black woman currently with numbers like folks on that list, all I want to hear this, but it's Candace Owens. I believe that, though. Candice Owens' numbers audio and video are massive.
Starting point is 00:58:47 I was actually shocked Candice wasn't on that list. So maybe it's a, I don't know, maybe it's a disconnecting the business. I don't know. I feel like brand-wise, people don't want to put her on a list because of what she's grown to represent. Sure. Even though Joe Rogan is a little testy. Sure, but it's not like Candace couldn't be selling merch. It's not like Candace couldn't be doing live events.
Starting point is 00:59:05 It's not like Candace couldn't be having a subscription-based tier that I'm sure people would pay for. You understand what I'm saying? Like there's a lot of different ways for Candace owns the monetizer podcast. Candace Owens' audiences, massive. Now, listen, I'm only talking about numbers, guys. I'm not talking about anything else. We ain't talking black. We ain't talking white.
Starting point is 00:59:22 We're talking numbers, okay? As my guy, John O'Brien says, numbers don't have any feelings. okay, we're just talking math. When it comes to numbers, Candace Owens is through the roof. And I had to look up, I was thinking, I was like, damn, I feel like Michelle Obama numbers should be up there.
Starting point is 00:59:39 But her podcast told you, though. I mean, it's Michelle Obama. Michelle Obama does about 600,000 audio downloads a month, which is Matt, which is pretty big. She's Michelle Obama. Right. And also, I would think her video numbers do well. I haven't looked on YouTube to see.
Starting point is 00:59:52 But more importantly, to your point, because she's Michelle Obama, I would think brands are very, backing up the banks truck. She got her, I mean, one of her biggest sponsorships on her podcast is Uber. I mean, Uber. Um, uh, Airbnb. Like that's a, her and her brother, they always got to do a segment
Starting point is 01:00:09 about like how the Airbnb. But they probably spend in the bag. But also 600,000 a month is not no, no, on the level of the people. No, no. So that's why I can understand why she was excluded. But Candace O's is one I don't understand why she wasn't on this list. I think there's a disconnect with the business in her world.
Starting point is 01:00:27 I'm, I'm, I'm, her world is subscribers. So all the people who comment, they have to subscribe. She do have subscribers? Yes, subscribers. So she's getting crazy. Oh. Across where? What place she?
Starting point is 01:00:37 Yeah, what does she have subscribers in? To her own website. Oh, so she's, everything to her, paywall she controls. That comes straight in. She is, she's probably the highest paid podcaster right now. Has she? Has she still been doing it? No, no, no.
Starting point is 01:00:53 For her show, not outside stuff. But if you just say to. the amount of money you take from your show, all her people that watch live that are commenting are subscribed to her directly. Interesting. So there's no, there's no Patreon getting the cut, there's no YouTube getting the cut.
Starting point is 01:01:08 Is directly through her build on? And then she got books that she publishes. She got. Definitely got books. No, listen, I told you, I'm shocked Candace Owens was not on this list. I said, like, that is the, if I had, if there was one black woman, and I know y'all not going to like this,
Starting point is 01:01:22 but it's just true, but we're just talking audience size and business, I was shocked that Candaceoe and wasn't on that list. Now, who do I think is going to be on the list in the future? Michelle Obama, but also with Michelle, she may not be taking on a lot of sponsors because she don't want to because she's Michelle Obama's. She's not going to just have her brand attached to any old thing. She ain't going to have Craig on there doing blue chew ads.
Starting point is 01:01:44 You know what I'm saying? Right? But I can see Michelle Obama on this list in the future and Kiki. Yeah, I can see Kiki. You know what I mean? Keeke. Well, today actually, well, the day that we're filming this, Meg Dostagia and Michelle Obama just went live.
Starting point is 01:01:59 But Kiki Palmer has been, I know, Kiki Palmer has been having a lot of, like, she did whoopee. Like Kiki Palmer and Michelle Obama are the two podcasts that I probably sit and watch religiously because they're guessing out of here. I like Kiki. I like her as an interviewer. Yeah. I enjoy her.
Starting point is 01:02:15 But those two are able to build businesses around their podcast. In real life, it's. Oh, Angie's phenomenal. It's Kiki, Angie Martinez, and. Michelle Obama's podcast is where I probably get most of my, like, content stuff. Not to pivot, but what was the backlash with Kiki getting a star? There's backlash? I didn't.
Starting point is 01:02:35 It shouldn't be. Like, oh, I saw people were saying, like, she didn't deserve to. What? How? I didn't say, I didn't say. Who would say that, though, because they go to know her background? You metza Puerto Rican, you said? Oh, my God.
Starting point is 01:02:50 It's not about race. No, but who did you hear? What race did you hear this from? Exactly. I saw men saying that. I'm not even exaggerating when I say this. Kiki Palm is literally one of the most talented people. For real.
Starting point is 01:03:03 So hard working. And she's not working. I feel like where her is like she's very intentional about the work she be doing. Like she don't just do every or anything. She's maintained an elevated level of career for a very long time. That is so hard. She's a killer in the beat, bro. Like.
Starting point is 01:03:21 You know she said that movie didn't do a effort? I'm sure it didn't. Her and Whoopi were talking about that. We'll be seeing how a lot of her movies didn't do well either until they made it onto TV. And then people were like, oh. Yeah, I think Kiki got more cult classics. I mean, I think one of the biggest boxed office hits she's had, recently was the joint with Issa Ray in her in-sizant.
Starting point is 01:03:39 Oh, yeah. Yeah. But I love her infrastructure. Like right now, everything she's doing, it's all in-house. Yeah. So a podcast, she controls a lot of any additional. The merch. She's going to have merch soon.
Starting point is 01:03:50 Like, Kiki's going to definitely be on this list. I'm forgetting to say that. Lauren going to be on this list. I'll go grinding.com. Because of me. Um, who else? What? What?
Starting point is 01:04:01 You honestly. I know five seconds away. What? What? I said you're going to be on the list. Because of me. Because of you. You need to get up every day.
Starting point is 01:04:12 Make him. Wait, what? Episodes. Make him, when I be tired, recording them episodes and make sure we get them by six. I'm going to tell you. Call Charlemagne. I'm going to tell who else. Poor minds.
Starting point is 01:04:22 Yes. And I don't. Sleep on decisions decisions. I feel like we always have this conversation with them. I feel like they should have more. Well, it's... Decision decisions is huge. They're doing everything.
Starting point is 01:04:34 Wait, they are. They are, but I feel like that moment of like they're larger than like life podcast. Like, call her daddy, for instance. Larger than, like, she has billboards and like all these crazy. She's in, I saw it on a commercial, like, on television for like, I forget what it was for. And I was like, what is she doing there? Are there hurdles for black women who talk sex? Yes.
Starting point is 01:04:58 Yes. And I- 100%. But why do we like to act like when women point out certain things? Like, I think the conversation around us, listen, no black one being on it, wasn't like everybody knowing the numbers because we know that people don't be doing the numbers all the time, right? It was just more about there are so many barriers that happen. But we love to act like, no, just pull your bootstraps up and you'll be fine. No.
Starting point is 01:05:19 But the only reason it's hard to have those type of discussions is because there's nothing to compare it to, right? Like, the only black woman-led podcast I'm telling you that can compare to the podcast on this list is Candace On. Canisones does better numbers than some of these people on this list. Yeah. So, so that's what we have to start. You have to start with the audience. Yeah. And when I say doing more with decision, decision, not mean that they're not big.
Starting point is 01:05:39 You might be looking at them. You know, I'm telling you, yeah, Charlotte, you got to. No, last time I checked it was something stupid. But, I mean, I would imagine that she's very polarizing. Yeah, but it don't matter. If you're making the list based off the numbers, you've got to put her own. No, y'all. It's a lot of people that don't, a lot of brands and businesses that regardless of her numbers, don't understand that's true.
Starting point is 01:06:01 That's why she's had to build that site that you're talking about. By the way, that's what happened. She would be kicked off anywhere. That's what I used to get on these panels at these advertising, you know, conferences and stuff and argue about it. And I would always use horrible decisions as the answer. I'm like, yo, you got guys we fucked and call her daddy and, you know, you got these two black women, Mandy and Weezy who. do ridiculous numbers, right? And advertisers are scared of them.
Starting point is 01:06:27 Why? Because they're black. Listen, January 2026, Podscribe reported that Candace averaged about 2.9 million downloads per episode. That's just audio. Her episode, guys. And that was down 8% from the prior month. In October 25, listen, in October 25, she was even higher at roughly 3.5 million downloads, ranking number one. in that particular cross-platform metric.
Starting point is 01:06:55 That's just audio. And I'm not a fan at all, but I pay attention just to what's going on. Same with her. I'm not a fan at all. But she is out here. When you exclude her from lists like this, you just make her bigger. Because now it's like, no, but the reason why that, nobody saw this list and said, where's Candace Jones except for people like him who know the numbers.
Starting point is 01:07:15 You got to know the business. But you know how, like, people root for the underdog. She, like, still carries her stuff. like the underdog. No, no, no. People don't like it. I'm talking about how she like portrays herself to her audience. She portrays herself as the underdog, everybody's against me's type stuff.
Starting point is 01:07:31 So you exclude her from a list like this. You actually just make a bigot. Oh, I'm lying too. The 2.9 is actually audio and YouTube views. But that's per app, Charlotte. Nobody's doing it per episode. Yeah. She ranked number two in downloads plus views per episode on YouTube.
Starting point is 01:07:49 Uh-huh. This was April 26th podcast specifically reported. in April 2026 that Kansas ranked number two in downloads plus views per episode and that the majority of its views were from YouTube. Her YouTube footprint is enormous. She got six, crazy. She got 6.5 million subscribers and 1.49 billion lifetime views as of late July. I mean, listen.
Starting point is 01:08:10 Was that when she was doing all the stuff about whether that person was a man or not? I mean, I don't know. Kansas has been built. That's the other thing, too. That's the other thing I want everybody to remember about these lists. time. People like Candace have had, they've been building this for a decade plus. She's had her pod for at least six, seven years. Seven years is always the sweet spot to me. A lot of these people on this list have been doing this shit for a long, motherfucking time. Like Joe Button has been
Starting point is 01:08:40 podding for over a decade. You know what I'm saying? I've been doing this shit 13 years. I've been literally hosting a podcast for 13 fucking years. I wish you could see an end of the year wrap up ever again. What you mean? You and Joe buddy. Now we're talking. Yeah. Now we're talking. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:08:58 I can produce it. Hey, we can produce it. I don't know if I like you no more. You was cool when I first walking. We can produce it. Me and Sam, I can figure it out. But once you start going dabs at my means, I don't even think.
Starting point is 01:09:09 Me and Joe don't even got to make no content. Like, it's just like, no. No, but this is something I do that. Actually, I would like to see you, Joe and Act make something. Oh, God. I don't want to see it. Because it targets every. every single aspect of the internet.
Starting point is 01:09:25 Well, I can't say, in a sense for, you know. But that would be a fire show. Act is annoying as fuck. Here's the thing with Joe. I know I know you don't like a, well, maybe you don't like it. Maybe you do. I don't matter. I'm just saying that was a fire show.
Starting point is 01:09:36 Joe, me and Joe love each other, guys. He's recently said that too. We do love each other. He was like, he was on each other. We love each other. So, question. So you and Charlotte, man, are at odds? What's going on?
Starting point is 01:09:48 No, no, it's just a funny ongoing. You love each other? It's a joke. Yeah, we love each other. Yeah, actually. But what? We both staring at the phone. That means something.
Starting point is 01:09:57 What's I mean? We both staring at the phone. Like, all right, who gonna call who first? You know what I mean? We'd rather probably run into each other. Y'all are cute. Like, y'all are dating. We probably running.
Starting point is 01:10:06 We'd rather run in each other. It's like, oh, my God. Y'all had, like, a talking stage. We'd rather run into each other like, oh, okay, you know, just bumping each other. Him and Nibbby just bumped in each other recently? You sound like a girl like, I haven't talked to him. But I think I'm running into him, so I think I'm just going to bump and try something. Like, you know what?
Starting point is 01:10:25 Then you go where he know he's going to be. Exactly. This is why guys don't even like to have these kind of conversation. Can you see how they act with it? That's the way. That's how you said it. So. Yeah, you do that.
Starting point is 01:10:35 It'd be like, yeah, because I know he's going to be her friend. Yeah, that's exactly how it's. But now it's never going to happen when you put that sauce on it. No, that's going to happen. Like, it's going to happen. It's going to happen. Your rapper would be amazing. I think.
Starting point is 01:10:49 That was so funny. These lists that keep coming out, and these are big lists. This is like not just, and there's no shade to like, you know, these are really big lists. These are people that are looking at these lists are in all different types of genres of life and race, religion, all that, right? And you two stick out on this list for us all the time. Because we niggers.
Starting point is 01:11:07 What NBA young boy said? Niggers. Are you a nigger? Yeah. That's why. You real hard, ER. We two niggers on the list. You used to pee outside.
Starting point is 01:11:16 If they do that, they're so, um, they have. so much influence where the rest of the culture will start to do that because a lot of these people collab with one another. And that's what they lift all. And that's what I agree. And that's what I was saying is what I'm telling you they need to be the fucking example and they got to stop what I let's say. But you all got to have what I let's say. We need an honest conversation to kick it off first because I just needed to watch. What Alex is saying is true. What Alex is saying is 100% true. I look at these lists and that is the thing I see. I'm like all of these people, they build with each other, they collaborate with each other, they do things with each other.
Starting point is 01:11:51 And by the way, it's not like we didn't do that. So we'd be lying if we said on our come-up, we all didn't help each other build. Like, you know- A lot of people would say that's the heyday when everybody was working together. Listen, I'm not sitting there disagreeing with none of that because I'll be looking at this shit online, man, all of this back and forth is goofy. Now, listen, there's some of y'all. I don't give a fuck about building with ever, because I don't have no relationship with y'all. didn't have a relationship with y'all 15 years ago and don't really care to have a relationship with y'all now
Starting point is 01:12:21 because the shit that y'all be doing just for clicks and views just ain't for me. I know people want to look at me and be like, yo, Charlamagne was a shock jock. I'm really an asshole when I want to be, okay? So it's not like I was out here just doing shit for clicks and views. And when I did shit for clicks and views, it never felt good.
Starting point is 01:12:37 And I've told you. I told you that Floyd Mayweather shit didn't make me feel good when I played the audio. So that wasn't just you. That was, I know this going to be. No, that was, I said it. If you listen to the audio, I'm saying it. I'm like, oh, fuck that.
Starting point is 01:12:52 Like, we got the audio. Let's play it. This shit. I'm saying it. Like, I can't move like that. That shit don't make me feel good. And go back to a conversation that we had with Wendy Williams at dinner about a year and a half ago now. What did Wendy say, Lauren? She feels like everything she's going through right now is God getting her back for all of the things that she said in, you know, about people.
Starting point is 01:13:12 Yes. That was God to hear that, though. at the same time, it's easier for you to say that 200Ms up, but the other people who are still in the come up, they feel, hey, this is what I have to do to get to that position. First of all, I don't know about that number you just quoted. That's number one. Yeah, that's a little low because this list alone is say 27,
Starting point is 01:13:32 and that came after the 200. That was just saying. Though, actually this was before. Well, we found out about it after, so I'm adding both together. But forget all of that. None of this stuff means anything. These 250Ms. But, you know.
Starting point is 01:13:42 And then we don't know about real estate. We don't know about fiscal. They do about you. Y'all know about that. No, we don't know your numbers. We don't know. No, no, you don't. Yeah, so I'm just saying.
Starting point is 01:13:50 You don't. Life is good. God is good. Maybe next. Billioners, let's next. By the way, pick up Little John's book. It'll be out in stores October. It's called Our Only Shout So You Can Hear Me, via Black Privilege Publishing, Simon & Schuster.
Starting point is 01:14:02 Go pick that up. Go pick up Cheach's book. The Voice in My Head is God. Go pick up our senior hall's book, his memoir. And go pick up Jess Oliar's or Death Do You Parent. All of those came out via Black Privilege Publishing this year, Simon & Schuster. But back to what you said. I didn't even add the book for print.
Starting point is 01:14:15 But how close to you were to a B. Stop, stop. That stuff is, stop. You're missing the point. That stuff, what you're talking about, Alex, is you don't get to that unless you pivot. And that's what I'm trying to explain to people. There's things that guys like myself, Joe Budden, have already done. What did Jay-Z say?
Starting point is 01:14:38 I went through that so hopefully you don't have to go through that. Yeah. I'm telling these guys where they should pivot, where they should grow, where they should evolve now because I'm telling you when you're in this space as a hip-hop media personality, you look up and you think you can go further, but that ceiling is made of glass.
Starting point is 01:14:55 So you see the sky and you're like, let me keep going, I'm killing. But then you just hit your head and you're like, damn, what the fuck? Filling, hit your head, like, damn, what the fuck? When all you got, you just pivot in order to break the glass ceiling. But when I say pivot, I mean, don't be afraid to grow up. Understand that what you're doing is not sustainable. Do you want to go viral or do you want to have a voice that actually has value? There's a difference.
Starting point is 01:15:16 Yes, but Shala, you hit the ceiling and then you pivoted. They're still trying to get to the ceiling and you're telling them, hey, give it now. I never hit a ceiling professionally. I hit a ceiling personally as a man. As a man, I didn't feel like I was moving. They want to get their numbers up. They want to get their money up first and then they want to pivot. But a lot of people follow your track record.
Starting point is 01:15:38 They follow Wendy's track the record. Listen to me. I'm telling you that in order to get to that, you have to grow as a human. I promise you, man, that shit that I'm watching these people online. They're robots. They're like AI. Like, they're not even real individuals. They're just doing and saying things because they want to get numbers and they want to get clicks
Starting point is 01:16:00 and they want to get engagement. If you say to me, I'm only saying this because this is what I want to acquire, you're a cornball. It's corny. I agree with you, but it's easier to say it from your position now because you weren't doing this back then when you were saying the stuff that they're saying. By the way, I didn't even know I could get to this. I'm just telling you that as a man, I needed to make a change. Personally, me, I wasn't happy with the way that I was moving. It wasn't no career issue, wasn't no personal issue.
Starting point is 01:16:34 It was what was going on with me internally. that shit that Wendy Williams said to us at dinner is exactly where my energy was. I'm like, nah, just saying, I'm not, no, I can't, I'm not, I'm not moving like this. By the way, I can point to other people in the culture. I've watched that happen with. Look at Jason Lee. Now, Jason won't admit that he's a little, he's still messier. He's still messy at it.
Starting point is 01:16:59 I did meet, okay? But you can't sit here and act like you ain't seen Jason Lee pivot. Yeah, he's a man is a freak. He's a vice mayor of fucking Stockton, California. Even Button. As well as doing it, I was gonna like, But what? Yeah, he's pivoting.
Starting point is 01:17:12 Yeah. Do you know I got the first time me and Button ever was on air together? Oh God, you like... Hot 1039 in Columbia, South Carolina. What y'all was talking about? It was so good. This one he was allegedly, he was beefing with Game from G Unit. This one game was with G Unit.
Starting point is 01:17:28 And he walked in the radio station with a G-Unit hat on. And so I'm talking to him and he's talking to me about G-Unit. And I'm like, do you... You ain't there talking about game, but you got a G-Unit hat on. And when I'm not, all I'm going to say is there was gay slurs. It was fun, man. Those were days. I know.
Starting point is 01:17:50 But, okay. But they could be free. What are you saying? When you're right, could be free. Oh, my God. Not gay slurs because people were actually gay. You know how we used to use it. I didn't use it.
Starting point is 01:18:01 Okay. And whatever. It don't matter. You know what I was so going to go. That was 20. That was literally 20. How many years ago? Man, that was like 0-203.
Starting point is 01:18:12 That d'nagas grow up. I got it. Listen, by the way, I'm with you. People got to grow up on their own time. But I'm going to tell you exactly the moves I made personally, internally, to get to where I am now. But that's what gets you there. Like you said, I have that audio. Somebody, it probably would be really hard to find out anywhere else.
Starting point is 01:18:33 Well, us right now, a lot of the things we're doing, it's. It's here and it's going to be on the internet forever. Like, you're going to have to really go. So be intentional. That's what I'm saying. Like, we really don't have the threshold to make a lot of the same mistakes. If you really trying to be in it for a long time, like, it's a good time. Like, because you can position yourself somewhere where you can't get out of it.
Starting point is 01:18:51 You can position yourself somewhere where you can't get out of it if all you want to do is go viral and not have a voice that has value. That's why I be on your little ballhead all the time. Okay? Remove the ball head. You're not right. It's okay to give a. It's okay. Okay, breathe.
Starting point is 01:19:07 You're not ball-headed. Anymore. But it's okay to be nice. I'll point to certain people and I'll be like, Lauren, you don't want to be like that. Yeah. You know what I'm saying? Like you want to have actual value. And she got it.
Starting point is 01:19:19 You know what I mean? Like there's things that have happened to you over the past couple of years that have given you a lot of value. I think the puppy trial gave you a lot of value. You know what I mean? And I think the things that you choose to report about, even how you go about it, when you're picking up the phone, calling sources. You know what I mean? Like that gives you a lot of value.
Starting point is 01:19:35 And I want you to stay. there. You want to have a voice that has value. You don't want to be just one of these motherfuckers just constantly trying to go viral. But the couple times, when you have to mess, when you mess up in front of the world and you see and feel that, that's why I'm saying. Like, I, it's no, you can't do, you can only do bus so much. Like, you got to really be tight right now. And you got to admit when you're wrong. You know how many times I've giving myself donkey today? Not many times I had to get on the air and apologize to somebody if I got, if I got something wrong, if I feel like I harm somebody in some way. There's
Starting point is 01:20:02 nothing wrong with that. Pay attention to those kind of people. Pay attention to personalities who can't even admit when they're wrong. Who can't admit when they're wrong. Who can't just be like, yo, I was wrong. You know what I mean? If you continuing to make excuses when you just completely got it wrong, how can we trust you? We already know we can't trust you anyway, but now we know we can't trust you. What else we got, Taylor, again?
Starting point is 01:20:30 I mean, how long? Oh, Alex got to go. All right, let's ask you in this. I'm good. I push my name. Oh, you did? Okay. You want more?
Starting point is 01:20:38 Well, if you can do some asking idiots, I mean, I can, yeah, let's pay a bill. Taylor wants to go. Why, you got? Yeah, I have a baby. What else you got? You got more topics? You got a kid. I do, though, but I don't know.
Starting point is 01:20:48 You have asking idiots. I know, I have asking idiots, but I'm going to say I do have another one, but I don't know if I feel like maybe Andrew would say more stuff. Which one? The guy that wants to be a woman now, transitioning going to dump the NBA. Oh, I've been saying that. Why isn't he said. Andrew would want to talk. I just know he'll have good commentary towards it.
Starting point is 01:21:08 I think this shit is ridiculous. I don't know why this is becoming a story again. And I cannot believe that people are falling for tricks like this right before the midterm election. That's what is. Like, this is so dumb for Democrats to even be going back down this road having this conversation. And I hate when they conflate two things. Because guess what? I don't know why Sophia Cunningham was asked this question.
Starting point is 01:21:31 But if she's asked, should biological men play in the W. The answer should be no. That should be the answer from everybody. Should biological people that were born men playing the WNBA? No. Full stop. Any other thing? And there is no, whoa.
Starting point is 01:21:50 So are you saying transgenres don't have a right thing? Man, shut the fuck up. I ain't say nothing like that. You ask me a specific question. Do transgender belong in the WNBA if you're born a biological man? No. Okay? What if they ask you the second question first?
Starting point is 01:22:03 What's the second question? Do you feel like transgender? transgender women have a place in the NBA. What the fuck that got to do with anything? I just dropped 20 motherfucking points and 10 rebounds. Why are you asking me this shit? There's no transgender. What's the question again?
Starting point is 01:22:18 It's the other way around. Do you think that... Do you think transgender women? Women should have a... Do you think transgender women have a place in the NBA? I would say why are you asking me this? Because I want to know the why. I want to know why you give a fuck.
Starting point is 01:22:34 Why are you asking me this question? Because I'm... This is what they would say. Because I'm a person who believes that all people should matter. And if a person identifies as something, we're in America. What that got to do with the WNBA? Because I agree with you. I believe all people should matter too.
Starting point is 01:22:49 But what that got to do with the WNBA? They're women. No, yeah. It's like the bathroom argument sometimes. Identifying as a woman, cool. You had all the right to do that. This is a free country. But you shouldn't be allowed to play in the WMBA.
Starting point is 01:23:03 I got a really good video after this. Oh, God. What is it? What is it? Can I pay the bills, Taylor? I'm going to it. And do some asking idiots. Here.
Starting point is 01:23:16 Let's do some asking idiots, Taylor, gang. Hey, can I show you the clip? Oh, God. Oh, it's mad funny to me. What is it? And I feel like y'all should think it's funny. Give me context, first of all, Taylor. This person is identifying as someone.
Starting point is 01:23:30 But. Oh, God. It's super funny. No, no, no, no, no. It's not funny. Like, what y'all think? Okay. Ready?
Starting point is 01:23:40 This is a queer fat club. I'm queer and fat. Okay, thank you for joining. We're just introducing ourselves at the moment. Okay. Do you want to go ahead and introduce yourself, Joe? Yeah, my name's Joe. I go by He-Day and I identify as 275 pounds.
Starting point is 01:24:03 Okay, okay. I feel like Jay is kind of making fun of me, though. I know it's kind of a shock. It's kind of a new thing. I'm just, you know, monk. Do what? I said I apologize. Oh, no, you're good.
Starting point is 01:24:13 Are you comfortable leaving the group at the moment? Why? I'm not understanding why you're joining the group. This is the queer and fat group now. Yeah, yeah. Yeah. That's why I came here for. Okay.
Starting point is 01:24:26 And you said you identify as fat? Yeah. Okay. This is just for fat-bodied people. Yeah, I understand. I identify as a fat-bodied person. I'm not understanding where you're coming from. Are you guys comfortable with me here?
Starting point is 01:24:40 I mean, I'm pretty chill on my end. I'm not comfortable, no. Can we take like a vote? I'm going to ask you to. This is a queer. True, though. Why can't he be there? That's how I felt about Rachel Dozo. You want her to meet with us?
Starting point is 01:24:52 Why the fuck not? That's two different situations. Don't do that. Why not? Don't do that. Why not? Because he's trying to be. It's basically blackface.
Starting point is 01:25:01 Hello, let's think about history. She identifies as a woman of color. She's not, though. Why can't she come in at her own self, not being a black person? Drake identifies as a black man, and you love saying that he's not. He's an African Canadian. You need to learn how to be more inclusive, Taylor. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:25:22 Can we do some asking idiots? Just allow someone to just like us. Claim that they're black. She's living a lifestyle. You let men do it with your gender. Hmm. Huh? You let men do it with your gender.
Starting point is 01:25:33 Tell her don't. Don't. You are a mother. You let men do it with your gender. You are a mother. You have better things to do. I'm just asking you let men do it with your gender. Why can't somebody do it with your race?
Starting point is 01:25:43 Yep. You let men do a lot of things, okay? we let you rock. Taylor, continue. Let's do some asking idiots, Taylor gang. Taylor gang, gang. He's not wrong. By the way, I didn't say you. About him letting me do things now.
Starting point is 01:25:56 Shout out to Brandy, too. Brandy, I think you did a good job with the different world theme song. I think the problem is everybody comparing it to the Aretha one. But each time, but each one, because like, the Aretha one is so different
Starting point is 01:26:08 than the Boys of Men one. Like, it's supposed to be like... That's what I'm saying. You shouldn't be comparing none of them. Of it. Yeah. It's new. energy. It's a whole new reboot. We only know what this show going to be about for real.
Starting point is 01:26:21 Like, let them cook. Duane Wade and Whitney's daughter goes to Hillman and she's trying to make her own pathway, but she's living in their shadow and she's rebellious. So there'll be some twisting. I love this. The reason I love stuff like this is because I feel like there's so many people from our era, not y'all, because y'all are babies. But our era that did not get they just do. I still don't feel like the Khadim Hardison, the Jasmine gods of the world, got there just due from different way. That was the number two show in the world. Cosby Show was number one.
Starting point is 01:26:52 Different World was a spinoff of Cosby Show. And it was the number two show in the world. Cosby Show was the number one show in the world. I think we don't know that because it was so long ago for us. But people know Cosby Show. I mean, people talk about different world. Everybody know different world. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:27:09 But I don't know about it like that. Yeah. Like I never heard. Yeah. Like my sister loved. I love that show. I haven't heard people not from America know about different world. Really?
Starting point is 01:27:20 Yeah. Like the way they talk about... What about Martin? They'll talk about... They know Martin, though. Friends. Yeah, they'll know Martin. They'll know Fresh Prince.
Starting point is 01:27:29 I haven't heard anybody say different world. I think so. Hold on. Let me look this up. What's the highest rated episode of Different World? I don't know Jersey Shore for some reason. Everybody knows Jersey. Everybody knows Pauley and Snookie.
Starting point is 01:27:44 I don't think y'all remember how many people were watching TV back in the 90s. No, because it felt like it was just you in your house. Until we got Twitter in, like, MySpace. All right. What are you looking for? Hold on, the screen. The numbers.
Starting point is 01:28:02 I want it in millions. I don't want percentage. I don't know if it was the number two show of the world. It was. Maybe in America. Okay, you know what? I said the world. You're right. Yeah. In America.
Starting point is 01:28:13 In America. Okay. In America, because Cosby was number one. America, man. All right, check this out. 1988, the season two premiere of a different world. How many people you think watched it? The season two premiere, 1998.
Starting point is 01:28:28 28. How much? 20 million. What do you think? I think less than eight. Three. What do you think? I'm going to go 10.
Starting point is 01:28:38 34.3 million viewers. Oh. Season three premiere, 1989. How many, how many, what, how many, what, how many, what you think, watched the show? 75 million. Season three premiere in 1989. How much do you think? Now I'm gonna say 50. I know, right. Now I'm gonna say, no, I'm gonna say 80.
Starting point is 01:28:56 36.6. Okay, so, my point is, it was only three channels, guys. Maybe four. Fox might have just been around at the time. Oh, my God. There was an unlimited amount. There was no internet. Like, everybody, that was the last, that was called it monoculture. That was like the last era of mom. where everybody would gather around
Starting point is 01:29:16 and watch one thing. And you didn't get no rerun. How much was it to buy a channel? I'm just a little surprised America's makeup. Like, so you could get number seven. They came on right after Cosby show. I don't even remember that. Like, that was
Starting point is 01:29:32 way before. The biggest documented audience for an episode of different world. 36.6. When I was watching TV, I remember about like 100 channels then. I remember a certain amount of channels on cable. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:29:45 Netflix ain't bringing back a different world for no reason. That's a monster. Netflix's trying to bring back everything. Oh, thank you.
Starting point is 01:29:52 God bless Netflix. Keep doing it, okay? Let's continue to do more content together. All right, let's do some asking idiots. What racial
Starting point is 01:29:58 stereotype from any race would you like to have? I got them all because I'm black. And we got the best ones. Like another race. Like white people, like white people
Starting point is 01:30:10 smell like wet dog or... God damn. I would say Asian like the karate shit. I want you gonna do now. Wait, why you laughing? Wait, wait, wait, wait, say that again. Say that again, say that again.
Starting point is 01:30:23 Why are you laughing? I would want people to think I don't karate. Why are you laughing about that? I can see that. That's not bad. Like, right, what's wrong with that? That was great. No, that's awesome, though.
Starting point is 01:30:36 That's awesome. You ain't too many of these. You're like getting in trouble. What racial stereotype from any, all the ones I would want are from black people? Um, I would not. I would like the Jewish stereotype where they all work together. Unity and group operation.
Starting point is 01:30:51 Yeah. I like that. I like that. I like that. Yeah. Now that I think about it, yeah, my other, yeah, my other stereotypes I would take from Jewish people. Yeah. That was going to be.
Starting point is 01:31:03 Absolutely. You got all that money. You don't have nothing to do it, money, girl. They're working together. They practice unity and group operation. They pool their resources, okay? I got that. I like how Jewish people get that.
Starting point is 01:31:15 I don't know what to tell you. I don't know why. I haven't studied other races enough to do. But Jewish people, I like how they get down, okay, when it comes to business and how they move amongst each other. Don't know what to tell you. That wouldn't be a bad stereotype for us to have, gang. Okay?
Starting point is 01:31:29 No, I'm not against that. Because you know what they say about us? All we do is get online and hate on each other all day, every day. Okay? All we do is... Say something about that. Why do us as black people always say, the other races don't do that?
Starting point is 01:31:42 White people definitely do be hating on each other too, though. I don't give a fuck what the other races do. I can't. We do it. You know what I'm saying? People be like we always compare ourselves. Like, they're not, we don't know what's in their business like that. You don't know what's on white Twitter?
Starting point is 01:31:55 Exactly. By the way, you know why? Because they probably shut the fuck up. That's not true. But I used to be in my old job, their little algorithms, so I used to be like, what is that? What are you? Like, even like down the shows that they're watching,
Starting point is 01:32:09 they'd be talking about them and be like, what is this? Everybody's talking about it. Where? Not over here. They have their own. little thing. Go ahead. Whatever.
Starting point is 01:32:20 And y'all niggas just be hating on each other. I don't let it tell you. It's AI, but no, you're right. I mean, other cultures do do it as well. Right. Yeah. I don't like that. But they do it, I'm going to tell you.
Starting point is 01:32:33 But it's by, his thing, it's by this. That's what I want you all to understand. That's why I keep telling you all to read this book called Techno-Futalism, what killed capitalism. They literally monitor. monetize our emotions. Who wrote it? I can't even pronounce his name.
Starting point is 01:32:50 I was texting with him too because I want to get him on Breakfast Club. What's it called? That's probably a long-ass text threat. I know y'all be... Techno feudalism. What killed capitalism? Paragraphs. We just only text a couple of times.
Starting point is 01:33:03 Sasan Pika actually connected me with him. Yeah, what's my guy's name? Pull it up? I want to say it. I can't remember his name right now. But they monetize our emotions. The cloud capital is conflict. Every day.
Starting point is 01:33:19 Motherfuckers get online and be arguing about shit. This shit is by design. Janice. Yonis Vero Frockers? I think you pronounced it right, Taylor. You bring that fucking autism. You won't even know how to pronounce it. Shut up.
Starting point is 01:33:33 You don't even know how to pronounce it. He was so surprised. Oh, it was right. Yonis, I think, yeah, Janus, I think she pronounced it. Taylor. I feel like he just threw a stereotype on you. It's fine. What?
Starting point is 01:33:44 Because he was so surprised you pronounced something right. I don't know why you act like you didn't think I could read. I don't know what you're talking about. Can we go to another now? Go read, technical, you know, he might have been projecting because he couldn't. I don't know what Lauren just did. I don't know why Lauren even did that. I be gas-like.
Starting point is 01:34:07 I can't pronounce it. Y'all know I could. I can't. You know I'd be gas-lighting. You're honest. What are we again? I want to do another asking it? Oh, I thought you were trying to.
Starting point is 01:34:16 No. I read the book. Y'all need to. Yeah, I want to. Scroll up. Taps, you already got going to. Do you have time to be on these books by all these books? At home?
Starting point is 01:34:25 It's 160 hours in the week at home. You got four daughters. You have a wife. You got 50,000 businesses. And he's rich. He has time to take a break. Like, I honestly be told me, like, yeah, I just read this book. When?
Starting point is 01:34:37 When you have other people handling stuff? People make time for what they want to make time for. And how long do you all? And how long do y'all think it takes to read a book? You know what y'all need to do? Go on Audible and look how long a book is, right? Like, so that techno-futalism book might be like seven hours, eight hours on Audible, if you're listening to it.
Starting point is 01:34:54 So do you dedicate the all of time a day? You sit down and read a couple of hours. Do you make time for what are you going to make time? What are you doing? Nothing. That's what I'm not. Don't do that. She is working for rolling.
Starting point is 01:35:06 They're doing shit for rolling. She's doing this shit all day. That's her job, though. I'm from work to work. and I sleep and I get up and I do it all over again. On the weekends, I might take a little bit of time for personal joy. Oh, okay. Well.
Starting point is 01:35:19 But if we have people coming in, I'll try to, like, start early enough. Like, if we, like, a month out from an author, I'll try to get through as much as I can. But, Lord, I don't know how he has the, he, you must be really disciplined in real life. And I read a lot of the same books. Like, I'm reading Seed of the Soul by Gary Zookov again. And what made me want to read it again is because I was listening to Kiki and Oprah. her podcast. And I was like, yeah, I want to read it.
Starting point is 01:35:45 Because I've read it like three, four, five times in my life. I was like, you know what? That's a good reread. But you're reading that in the back of your car service. Exactly. So you got to get to the car service level. You got to get to the car service level. Marco Polo on the plane at home instead of scrolling all fucking day, pick up a book.
Starting point is 01:36:05 Do you drive in or you take the train? I drive. Check your screen time. How long have you been on your phone? My screen time is crazy, Charlottome. That's my point. I need to know what's happening. I've been stuff happening here.
Starting point is 01:36:16 I've been screenshot. You've been here. She's trying, exactly, though. It's a lot happening right now. You literally, online, I'm getting alerts right now. What? Nothing crazy I would have stopped the episode and told you. But just, you know, the regular death.
Starting point is 01:36:26 The usual suspects. There's nothing crazy in my life. Okay. I know. I've been through it all. I've been through it all. There's nothing online. A motherfucker you say about me that's like, oh, my God, it's crazy.
Starting point is 01:36:36 I got to stop everything. Like, who gets a fuck? I didn't even stop. I really, who gets a fuck. I said if it was crazy, I would have stopped you. None of it is crazy. But you see, these are all... Let me see.
Starting point is 01:36:46 Let me see what they said. Exactly. Now he's say it. No, I'm just saying what it is in there. Go ahead. Can you... They didn't did like five folks. You know what's crazy?
Starting point is 01:36:55 I wait for the day that I get alerts. That's like... Yeah, like, that's a good thing. Don't you upload to YouTube? Yeah, but not like... This is crazy. You can have... We'll talk.
Starting point is 01:37:06 Yeah. I don't even know how to do. But, um... Okay, Marco Polo 22993 says, out of your nieces, who's made you the most proud? Charlotte, Lauren, Nyla, Taylor, etc. No. No. No.
Starting point is 01:37:20 Yeah. Remember how you yell at me about not reading? Charlotte, question mark. Yes. Name me, Naila Taylor. Who are all your nieces? I mean, none of them because they ain't married yet. When they get fucking married, then I'll be proud.
Starting point is 01:37:34 Dan. Taylor's going to be the first. Damn. And it should be Nila. Lauren gonna be outside. So marriage is the only thing that matters. Laura's not outside now. The only thing that matters.
Starting point is 01:37:47 And if I am outside, I'm like, man. Why didn't care about marriage so much? Because he knows how stupid he was until he... Y'all don't think that's more important than anything else, that professional shit y'all be doing? Y'all think that professional shit is like... That's cool, but like the real things are like... There's nothing more important to you than...
Starting point is 01:38:03 There's nothing more important to you than Little Pee. No, absolutely, but I'm saying, though, like... You're not about your dog no more. Think about that. Think about how much you can. Call that your child. That's my, like, that's my heart. She'd be kicking the dog now.
Starting point is 01:38:16 But why though? The dog be taking a little piece. She'd be like, get the fuck out of here. We used to see him that work often and it's like that. She don't give a fuck a buck. I don't even know what that dog's eating. We didn't even see pictures of that dog. First of all, yes, you have.
Starting point is 01:38:27 You forgot what you're going to say. No, I don't understand why, like, it's, to me, it's, yeah, tight of school. But it's about building with someone. Like, so that's what I'm saying. Like, regardless of a marriage, though, it's about building with someone. Why he put so much pressure on it. a title. No, you need a title. Okay. How long have you been trying to get a title at Iheart? You want your title. I don't do that. You want no title I heard. Ah, you're a liar.
Starting point is 01:38:53 You want that title. I don't. Yes, you do. I really don't. Yes, you do. I want to build my own empire. So I'm good. And be boss. Yeah. Title. But it's cool, though, because you want to be able to call your girl something. Bay, boo, my lady. No, my wife. That's my wife. That's the mother of my child. I was that anyway, though. You know what I mean? Like, I'm trying to build. No, no, no, no, no, for real.
Starting point is 01:39:17 Are you one of those free thinkers that are like, I don't need marriage. We don't, like, we don't even need paperwork. You know what's funny? I met, I grew to be like that, though. She's just. You know why? No, no, you know what I'm saying that though? Because she's at her wedding and jagged edge is playing.
Starting point is 01:39:30 I'm going to be bawling. I'm not, I'm not having my ex-euntless. Come on. She's going to be bawling. She's going to be bawling. But she's going to be bawling. But she's going to be bawling. the motherfucking what we do is wrong.
Starting point is 01:39:39 To be honest, can I say? Because we didn't do it traditionally is why I'm like, we're building something regardless, though. Like, so that's what I'm saying. The title to me is, it's cool. Great. I don't know who's made me the most proud. I don't think about stuff like that.
Starting point is 01:39:56 All of them make me proud. They do. All you do make me proud in different ways. They do. I've watched all of y'all grow up so much. I mean, Taylor and Nile because I've seen them longer, but like, you know, it's weird.
Starting point is 01:40:11 I've watched, I, when Naila first came to interview for her internship, I went and introduced myself. Like, so it's just different, like to watch people just grow and not give up on their dreams and, like, be doing what they want to do.
Starting point is 01:40:26 That shit is dope, you know what I mean? To watch Taylor grow and, you know, go from being a producer to now being the head of imaging and, like, creating the sound. on a breakfast club and, you know, being a lonely-ass girl searching for a man and now have a guy and a family. That shit is dope to me. Lonely-ass girl is crazy.
Starting point is 01:40:47 I was never lonely. Like, do not do that. Even watching Lauren's journey, see Lauren come from TMZ and not even to really understand how much she was grinding to even be here. But to hear the story and, you know, see what she put in and to see what she is now, that shit is dope. Like, you guys do that. Keep it right there. No, no. Keep it right there. Don't make it thing. Don't make it a thing. Lying. Just keep it right there. What do you mean? Don't. Like, she don't have nothing else except for professional shit. Like, I can't say it. I can't say anything. Like, she got to me. What? I'm not going to lie. I was looking at you because I'm like, there got to be signs of a stroke.
Starting point is 01:41:27 I just don't have anything. I don't can't be like, oh, she got married. I can't be like, I can't do nothing of that. Like, you know? Mr. Derek Jr. says, why do you think humans can't get? get along, social media. Humans can get along. No, we can't. Way before social media. We mean. And resources, because resources are not evenly distributed on this planet and never have been.
Starting point is 01:41:50 There's always somebody who's going to always have more. And that is going to always cause dysfunction. That is going to always cause chaos. That is going to always cause conflict. That's just the way that it is. If we moved with more reverence, that's so crazy. because that's what I just read and Ced of the Soul. They got a chapter called reverence.
Starting point is 01:42:10 And they was like, yeah, we have to start having more reverence for each other as people. Because when you just have reverence for a person, you're going to move differently. You're going to treat them differently. You're going to treat them the way you would like to be treated. Reference is like a regard for a person. Yeah, high regard for a person. You know what I'm saying? You have to have that for other individuals in order for you to want to actually see a person,
Starting point is 01:42:32 have what you have essentially. So, you know, Adrian. Dot Polito 594, how do you rebuild trust in a relationship when I got caught cheating? I still love him. That's a question for the ladies, man. How does a man rebuild trust? First of all, she probably was cheating back.
Starting point is 01:42:48 No, no, no, no, no, she. Yeah, she probably was cheating back. So that's number one. Let's just say that. Why? What? What? Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait.
Starting point is 01:42:59 What are you talking about? And then secondly... So she did them wrong and you're saying, oh, he must have fucked up? Yeah. No, no, no, no. I think matter men or woman, it's just about the action.
Starting point is 01:43:11 If they are willing to stick around and see what your action execution is after, it's all about that. And you have to be honest and own up to what you did. Like, because if you get caught, normally a person knows enough because they're catching you.
Starting point is 01:43:26 Don't talk around. Talk directly to what you did. I did it. here's what happened. Because I think cheating builds like deeper issues where you're trying to figure out like why. Like a person always wants to know the why, even if there's no why.
Starting point is 01:43:38 So if you're like sending somebody on like a mental spin, when it's already spin it, it just makes things worse. That's how you dealt with it? When I cheated in my past relationship, I was so gone. At that point, it was just like...
Starting point is 01:43:53 So you didn't try to work things out? I mean, we were still together, but it was, I was reacting to something. I didn't just. go cheat. I cheated back. Oh, okay. That's why you did. So for me, it was like, yeah, so for me in my past relationship, it was like,
Starting point is 01:44:08 yeah, I got caught, but like, you did too, so what we're going to do? I think. And that wasn't good, though. It wasn't good, huh? It's a raffo. No, you can get caught. That's not true. Yeah, that's not true. There's a lot of men that still with. You've never been cheating?
Starting point is 01:44:25 I'm glad. I'm glad. I didn't stay. But why, though? Why isn't you work it out? Because the loyalty's done. But why? Why is it done?
Starting point is 01:44:37 What you need? Because you cheated. But why is it? No, I'm asking that because women can forgive men of cheating. So I'm asking why a man. Like, why? Next question. Why?
Starting point is 01:44:48 No, for real. Let's get into it, though. How do you rebuild trust, Taylor? When you got caught cheating, how'd you rebuild trust? If I got car. Though, I'm different, though, because if I'm cheating, then I really don't want the relationship. That's how I was. That's how I was.
Starting point is 01:45:03 If a man cheated on me, for me, so look, I would say that I wouldn't, I would never go back to them. Like, I'm man cheated and I pepper sprayed one and also the other one I left. That's nice. Pepper spraying is nice.
Starting point is 01:45:20 It is nice. She's classy. Yeah. But, stupid. But it depends. It depends. It's a girl wants you back, honestly. If the girl don't want you back, then you can't rebuild the trust.
Starting point is 01:45:35 First, I don't know the situation. But if she does, like, you still care, I would say, then he has to be consistent. Like, overly communicate where he's at, like, all that. So, that's a factual. Next question. Women cheat different. Oh, there's no more, you guys. Yeah, I do.
Starting point is 01:45:54 Women cheat different? Yeah. Charlotte wrap it up. Wait, huh? No. No. Charlotte wrap it up? Why are you saying we cheat their thing?
Starting point is 01:46:01 They're saying, they can be emotionally unconnected or something, something, something. Oh, that's everybody to go to? Yeah, a men cheating don't mean nothing. Why do y'all think that? It's emotion that comes from your team. It's really not. None. It's really not.
Starting point is 01:46:13 You just, who just said, though, that. I'm not, I'm not saying that men can't grow to like somebody else or love somebody else. No, but there's a- But there's still an emotion of why you're cheating. If you vow to be loyal to this person, that's an emotion you're going like. And you know, as a way. Well, have you ever dealt with someone? Have you ever been the person that's like someone's in a relationship and you're dealing with them?
Starting point is 01:46:34 Have you ever, has that ever been? I've been a person that was dealing with someone that was in a situation, in a relationship, and you know that that is not true. It depends on where they are in that relationship. You can cheat and catch feelings and do all these things. I'm not trying to hear that. So if you make a decision to open yourself up to even potentially that acting in a relationship, to me, it's like, that is like the ultimate, like, uh-uh, no.
Starting point is 01:46:57 I think that men don't be wanting anything except for to get their dick suck sometimes. And I don't think that it has anything to do with the woman whatsoever. I think that men sometimes look at women as an escape. And when we're trying to escape whatever we may be dealing with, sometimes it's alcohol, sometimes it's drugs. Most of the time, it's women. And that's just the reality of the situation. And it has nothing to do with the woman that we love and we're with. Just different.
Starting point is 01:47:26 We just got our dick stuck real quick. It's different. But why can't be the same for a man? Like, just lick my click real quick. I don't believe women to build like that. I just don't even... I said the word. I know.
Starting point is 01:47:36 I don't move. She's even surprised that you said that. Why? I don't believe women of the built like that. I just don't. I could be wrong. You literally were just big enough man, Dian Weezy. Like, y'all don't think we can, but that's...
Starting point is 01:47:48 That's what I'm saying. That's like one of our biggest advantages is the fact that you guys don't think we're capable of. It's the thing. We make you feel like you're more than what you are, and we know you are. and we know you not. You said, how did I know between the two men? They never were that. I knew that.
Starting point is 01:48:00 That's how y'all be cheating different. Y'all do all this extra stuff. Too much emotion. You know, all this extra. Too much emotion. Y'all have, we moved with our brains. We cheat different.
Starting point is 01:48:12 Y'all don't have no metacognition, though, a lot of times. Like, meaning you can't think about your thinking. Like, I can think about my thinking. I can think about my thinking. Now, do I always want to hold myself accountable for what I realize when I think about my thinking? Exactly. Metacognition lets me know that if, just because I'm with another woman, that means
Starting point is 01:48:32 it's, it don't mean anything. Now, now, now, now, can you have feelings for another woman? Yes. That don't mean I'm about to leave and, you know, be with this person and leave my happy home. Have I seen other men that happened to? Yes, but you know what I really attribute that to? That really, who that person was supposed to be with? Like, if you've been with a woman for a long time and then you get with another woman and
Starting point is 01:48:55 You know, you've been with that woman for, you end up being with that woman for 25, 30 years. That's the woman you were supposed to be with. I got plenty old G's in my life. I've seen that happen to. They were married for 25 years. I was with another woman was with their woman for 25 years. Because you don't be knowing what would be going on in the marriages. You don't be knowing that.
Starting point is 01:49:09 You don't be knowing that. It's a circumstance. But if you were with a good woman and you're supposed to be so happy and all that and you still out her cheating. Yeah. Y'all is something with y'all. Like, we don't do that. Like if we are happy and we are good, we're not just out here looking to cheat. So you just prove my point.
Starting point is 01:49:23 I say, y'all cheat differently. But when we do go cheat, we can be just as vile and as... I must say you can't be. I don't believe that. I think women can. I don't believe it. If they're from Florida, they can. Dang.
Starting point is 01:49:37 Damn, bad doing weas. No, no, no, stop it. That's all people for it. Shout out to Big Weezy getting married. That's another way I can't afford to go to. Can I say, though... The same way... I know, congratulations here.
Starting point is 01:49:48 But the same way that... Damn it. It's all right. It's all right. Fuck. Okay, no, no, no, no. I do remember. Okay.
Starting point is 01:49:56 He was about to see some boys. No, no, no, no. The same way how y'all think that we're more emotional, like, I don't think you don't know. I don't think that. Okay. So do you think that? I think men are way more.
Starting point is 01:50:08 Okay, good. Okay. I was about to say, like, I don't understand that aspect either. And podcast might have proved that for us all. Okay. As always, if you listen to this podcast, you think we're smart. You think we're intelligent. You think we're brilliant.
Starting point is 01:50:19 You're absolutely right. But if you look to this podcast, you think we're just a couple idiots and don't know shit you're right, too. It's the Brear and Nidious podcast. Thank you for listening. Hold on. If you think men are more emotional, if you think men are more emotional,
Starting point is 01:50:30 then that proves the point that y'all do be cheating with emotion. Yes. What do you mean? Yeah.
