Starting point is 00:00:00 I really think the more I look at this like audio problem, the more I think it's my fault somehow. I don't know how the fuck it'd be my fault, but the more I look at it, you're right. The only thing that changed is that I'm sitting in this chair now instead of over there and I changed the mic to make the cord reach. And I don't know what the fuck is going on.
Starting point is 00:00:15 I have no idea, but I just want to say sorry. And if it's my fault, I don't know. I feel like this setup works so well for like a year. And it just doesn't work now. And I kind't know. I feel like this setup works so well for like a year. Yeah. It just doesn't work now. And I kind of forgot. And my poor computer, it's a really nice one sitting there. You know, I can't even say what the fuck I had to do to get this one. Anyways, I'll say that off air, but I won't even say it now.
Starting point is 00:00:39 Joey, I think it's good we talked about 45 and 47, the differences between the two of these guys. Same name, same hair, but different person, right? It just, you remember, it wasn't that long ago. I'm going to guess last year before he was elected president for a second time, he was saying within 24 hours of being elected, the war between Ukraine and Russia would be over. I heard this thing so many fucking times sending fucking weapons over. Oh, yeah I'm old enough to remember when Trump and Z man They sat down right and they both took their Viagra took out the measuring tape that to measure each other's dicks
Starting point is 00:01:41 They had that fucking argument. Remember They were playing virtual cards, right? And what happened, remember, they rage quit, they went home and all this shit? That was a fucking joke, right? But really, in the end, like, I have no idea what fucking game of cards they were playing. But here we are, like, they're fucking fuck the homeless. Fuck the homeless. Fuck the economy. We're going to just continually fund this fucking war. There's only weapons now, right? That's the plan, a basket of weapons? More than Biden, I think, is the-
Starting point is 00:02:14 But they do this. For what purpose, Joey? It's going to enrich the people that are responsible for creating said weapons. So the friends and families of these people, they're going to fucking rich and still people are gonna sit at home. 24 hours he's supposed to get rid of this whore and it's not. Like give me a fucking break, right? And you know what's funny, you know, people laugh at Canada, right? We have this elbows up movement, right? It is, it is fucking comical. Like, you can't, you can't deny the fact that it's a fucking joke
Starting point is 00:02:46 Right, but yeah, like it's fucking funny. But at least next time there's a wedding We're ready when the chicken dance song plays. We're fucking prepped you guys you guys We may look dumb, but we don't go there and kiss the fucking wall We're not doing that man. Like we we don't fucking take care kiss the fucking wall. We're not doing that, man. Like we don't fucking take care of it. We do our thing. It seems to me for whatever reason, I don't know what, we're better shape here, it seems for what I don't know what.
Starting point is 00:03:15 But even with that, the fucking Ukraine thing that drove me nuts that they're sending not just fucking weapons, but even more money it looks like and on top of that that was this is why I 47 is just pathetic in particular 45 then you have this fucking Maxwell thing oh god right like you think about like Maxwell's convicted sex trafficker yeah transporting minors for illegal sex, all that shit, right? She was put in jail, right? There's no list, right? Like, so the way I configured this is this was done, all this was done,
Starting point is 00:03:55 Jeff must've been one horny motherfucker if there's no fucking list. If he's the only one. He was busting a lot, buddy, for sure. How the fuck is this possible? Right? And on top of this, I can't believe this. Fucking incredibly, it gets fucking better.
Starting point is 00:04:11 Just when we fucking were fed all this slop, they come in with this fucking dessert. And here you go, eat this fucking thing. Trump is making the claim that the Democrats are responsible for the app stainless, the creation of this. Let's get this, like we got figured this thing out. Like maybe I got my facts wrong. Did you see the tape?
Starting point is 00:04:33 No, I saw that. The tape is the best. There's a minute missing in the middle of the tape. How do you have that? Like how does that guy disappear, like kill himself? A minute missing and then at Wired, somebody at Wired or some adjacent digital publication took the metadata from the tape. They never changed the metadata.
Starting point is 00:04:55 So the video is actually made up of two videos stitched together and was saved or edited four separate times. I've seen speed runners. Amazing. I've seen people try to fake speed runs with better technicalities than this. Right, like this is fucking bullshit. Right, so like how does a Democrats,
Starting point is 00:05:18 they were leaderless, they had the weekend at Biden's, they were dealing with what cocaine found in the fucking White House in any ones could have been anyone's they're dealing with fucking tunnels being dug the Obama chef drowning in a fucking thimble full of water and They come up with this story Fuck is this these stories? They're fucking bullshit. It's all fucking bullshit, right? These guys, you know what it is, they just gotta go back to the glory hole of that fucking wall, get their rocks off, give it a kiss again, call it a date. The Z-Men, right? Fuck them all, right? This guy, let's just tell, the cards, you're getting them ready, they ready there shuffle, right? They're ready to fucking deal up money's coming to you weapons are coming to you
Starting point is 00:06:07 You do what you want because it's gonna be coming right from the fucking printer. They're gonna they're gonna lower rates for what purpose again It's not everybody make everybody well, not everybody the friends and family rich They're gonna know what to invest in how to invest it and when the fucking pullout rich, they're going to know what to invest in, how to invest in, and when to pull out. It's bullshit. How do you come up with this idea that the Democrats are creating the story? Okay, so a couple of things. I actually believe that Trump should resign. He should resign. I never thought of that. He should. He's a complete flop, complete failure. There's a reason you don't see me wearing my hat anymore.
Starting point is 00:06:49 I like the hat, it fits well, it riles people up, but I can't. He hasn't done a good job. He just straight up hasn't done a good job. I actually as well think that he probably will, if I had to guess, he will do the podcast circuit again during his first two years in office before the midterms. And he will try and justify and defend and do a media blitz, him and Vance both probably, and say why and how and what. And it'll be a disaster because the Epstein thing looms large.
Starting point is 00:07:23 He went from being a social media tank to now everything he posts, all the comments underneath it just wrote Epstein tapes, files, lists, crimes, kids, every reply is like that. And Elon ain't going to take those replies down. That's a big problem for him now. Like I said, menace to the administration at this point. I also think that we're watching the complete dissolution of any apparition that you may have seen related to the independence of the Federal Reserve. This guy is on TV. His Secretary of Commerce, his Secretary of the Treasury, they're all on TV every day
Starting point is 00:08:10 bashing Powell, getting ready to replace him. Besant saying the other day that, or Besant, or however you say his name, saying the other day that every president is able to criticize the Federal Reserve Chairman. Yeah, criticize is one thing, but calling the guy too late, Jerome, telling him he needs to resign, you're going to be fired anyway, you're hurting the economy, blah, blah, blah. This is something out of a banana republic. I'm here for it. I love it. It's great content. It's great shit. I'll still laugh about Donnie every time he gets on Twitter or on Truth Social and says something, but let's be serious. You got guys like Bongino, Bondi, Patel, all tweeting stuff about we're cracking down on
Starting point is 00:08:53 crap. They're tweeting tons of shit and in every reply section, it's nothing but Epstein. That's what everybody wants to know. Epstein went from being a guy who was a private school teacher to owning the most expensive piece of real estate on the Upper East Side of Manhattan and having private parties on an island where Stephen Hawking, Bill Gates, and others went to discuss what exactly. Were they doing a glass of wine and finger painting? What were they doing?
Starting point is 00:09:23 What are we talking about here? You can say what you want about the crimes or allegations, but let's face it. There's something fishy about a guy going from public school, private school teacher, math teacher to what seems to be some kind of global globetrotting socialite savant billionaire with a black book that would make Mick Jagger jealous. How does that happen? I don't know. Here's the tape. We cut a minute out. See you later. It's absolutely insane that this was the response from the administration. The administration is incompetent. They're incompetent. It's like, I say this all the time, Len.
Starting point is 00:10:10 These guys think they're operating in an information environment that is long gone, where you can just say something and no one will pull the receipts. No one will pull the tapes. No one will pull the replay. No one will ask you about something you said before. No one will raise a hard question. No one will talk about it. No one has access anyways. They don't need it. They can ask whatever they want. Peter Doocy, who took a lot of shit, by the way, from the left
Starting point is 00:10:34 during the Karin Jean-Pierre press conferences for giving her a hard time. He put Levit on the hot seat the other day about this, and he was right to. That guy's maybe the only real politician in the White House press corps at this point. But anyway, it's a strange world out there and we are just living in it. And I think Bitcoiners are especially well equipped to look at this with a critical eye. Here's a question for you. Have you talked to any over 60s, over 65s about this? Do they care? Do they know? Is it even on their radar? No, I didn't talk to anybody over 60. Talked to somebody late 50s about this and he had no idea. Crazy! That's what I mean. Like what do they care? No, no, no, because the reason is because they're either too busy working or too busy enjoying their life.
Starting point is 00:11:26 The people that have means, they're enjoying their life and they don't give a shit. And the people that are working, well, they're just too busy just trying to put food on their fucking table. And this kind of stuff just doesn't really matter to them. It's secondary in their lives. Maybe, yeah, possible. I think that in reality is we're looking at people
Starting point is 00:11:44 that are puppets here. Right? Like there's a puppet master and... What is it? Who is it? Who is the guy pulling... Who's the Wizard of Oz in this? I have no idea.
Starting point is 00:11:58 Well, geez. Is it Peter Thiel? Is it Peter Thiel, the Thiel box? I don't know. I don't know if it's somebody that's located statewide. I don't know. I have no idea. I can see Mark in the chat. Mark says this all the time, that there is no string puller. And I agree with him 99.9% of the time, but then I look at shit like this and I'm like, somebody has got be in this guy's ear. Like either threatening him or telling him what to say.
Starting point is 00:12:28 Like who is the- I have no idea. How do you go from the, it's within a few hours you go from the extreme of this thing is bullshit and then you go ahead and bomb a country. I mean then you say cease fire, but then the ceasefire only applies to one side.
Starting point is 00:12:48 They just unload, yeah, they empty the clip, yeah, exactly. There is a playing field that's not even. It's slanted to one side and the ball always rolls downhill and they're always scoring goals and and that's it's fucking bullshit right and the same people are on the Ones that are always scoring goals how like I I don't know what they have But I don't know what's but there's something here and who's they? Hey, I don't know the fuck there and it seems like they're able to the fucking pull the strings, right? Like yeah I don't know. It's really something going on don't know it's either that or they're fucking clowns right they're total like we're watching Polly actually in modern
Starting point is 00:13:32 day G rated version of Polly actually just minus the fucking the hair that's really what it is it's either they're fucking clowns or you're being told what to fucking do yeah is the other other possibility that there's just big names from both sides in the States affiliated with this list and this guy and it's best just to bury this thing. And so what you have is like this limited hangout now where there's about to be some kind of news release and everyone knows there's about to be a news release
Starting point is 00:14:01 and it's become too obvious. And so it's like sort of calm things. There's a small selection of new information that's just salacious enough to occupy the public's attention while not being salacious enough to drive them to the core of the issue. You know, like you kind of see this, you see this pretty often, I think, now that I'm looking back on certain things over the years, COVID, a great example, the Wuhan lab. Oh, there's a lab there? Oh, fuck.
Starting point is 00:14:30 You think so, man. And they say, yeah, it was a lab leak, but really the lab leak was the limited hangout. The full set of data comes out years later, oh, it was a lab leak, and Fauci was the guy pumping money into the gain of function research, the guy who's now telling you to get the vaccine, the guy who's like... The whole US political system and political power broker economy is fucking insane. It's fucking insane. It's a lot of people who are not stateside, like you mentioned, pulling strings.
Starting point is 00:15:04 To me, it's obvious at this point that there's something going on between a number of different countries involving this guy. And we're just, I'm just watching. I'm just watching the play. I'm watching, we're at intermission. I'll get some more popcorn and come back and sit down and we'll talk about it next week again. That's all I'm supposed to do besides laugh.
Starting point is 00:15:20 I don't know. No, but the sad thing is people were hurt through all this right people's lives were changed, families were like there's so much that people don't you know there's there's a lot more to it there's there's a human component to this that we're kind of overlooking and it's it's sad and you figure Elon Musk he really wants to put the nail and nail Trump to the cross, so to speak. You figure he would have the ability to go through all the data that's been stored on Twitter, not just the tweets that have been protected now. If you look at Maxwell's account, it's now locked.
Starting point is 00:15:58 And her Reddit moderator account as well. I don't know if he has access to that but certainly he has access to the Twitter stuff but then there's also the DM stuff. There must be information that was exchanged through DMs on Twitter that he has access to. Then why isn't this being released? Right? As a way to like fuck you. Okay so you know she wants to talk to the press that, I'm assuming, as a way to lessen her sentence, right? If you want my information, I'll be happy to, but I trade this for something. What am I trading it for? That's cool.
Starting point is 00:16:32 Let's talk, right? Like, so nothing is free. Why would she just come out now and do this? What's the rationale? Let me ask you something now. If she ends up dead, is that a bridge too far? Is that going to push people over the edge if it's a suicide or whatever? I don't know. What happened to today so far? Her husband gone, McAfee gone, all this bullshit. Those
Starting point is 00:17:01 haven't, it's not a bridge too far. We've crossed that. It's just another example of this. I think my prediction is that the limited hangout continues and it moves to there's a new revelation about the client list and the sexual crimes and it drives people enough that they drop this whole thing, but you never actually get to the juiciest part of the apple, which is the relationship that Epstein has with foreign nations. That's the big one, the intelligence links. And I think that's the hangout you're not going to get to see.
Starting point is 00:17:37 That's my view. I don't know if that's going to happen or not, but I think if I had to bet, that's where I would come down. Want to talk about A&W? Sure. I bet that that's where I would come down. Wanna talk about A&W? Sure. Most of the time you have a pretty good segue, but it's hard to move from child-to-child to Hindu commercials, I think,
Starting point is 00:17:58 is where we're going with this, probably. So yeah, they're getting a lot of flack here because there's some commercials in Canada for A&W because they're getting a lot of flack here because there's some commercials in Canada for me and W Because they're having a difficult time understanding the language that's being spoken Not all people just some people are having some difficult time understanding because apparently the commercials are done in Hindi that Punjabi word a lot of people are saying but actually Hindi I don't know why they chose that language either Either way, that was their preference for doing up this commercial. All I can say is from all this is just keep accelerating.
Starting point is 00:18:30 Keep this going. What else could you say? It's funny stuff. Okay. Let me ask you something. I'm going to press you a little bit here. Go ahead. I got to fart.
Starting point is 00:18:44 The question I have for you is one that's close to home for me. It's probably close to home for you too. We're both paisons. So do you remember 20, 30 years ago, like I remember watching TV at my known as house, Omni, Channel 4. And Channel 4 used to have a lot of Italian commercials for products that you'd see in the grocery store. Etel Pasta ran an Italian commercial.
Starting point is 00:19:08 There were some other Italian commercials for sauces and certain seasonings and vegetables, restaurants. They didn't run in English. They ran in Italian. And they were products that were available here in Canada from chains that operated, again, domestically. At that time, was there a Joian Lenz somewhere talking on their porch or at the social club or something and saying, we just got to accelerate, these Italians
Starting point is 00:19:31 causing problems. Now it's not even English or French, it's an Italian, the commercials. That's me playing devil's advocate because I think if I look at those times, yeah, that probably did seem weird to Canadians in that era. First of all, why is there a domestic station playing Italian television, number one, because that was true as well. They play Italian soaps on Omni. Why is there commercials for products on Canadian shelves that are running in full Italian? Interesting, right? That happened in the past.
Starting point is 00:20:07 Now you're seeing it for A&W. I don't know where I should be drawing the line on this. I do think it's weird, number one. I do think that there has to be some inclination or incentive for these guys to assimilate. If A&W is serving in you know, in Indian or in Hindu or whatever the language is, then is that less than the incentive to assimilate? Yeah, probably.
Starting point is 00:20:34 But I'm not sure, I'm not sure I care that much about this. You know what I'm saying? Where you come down? I like the fact they're doing this. I want this acceleration to keep happening. You don't think there's any line to be drawn between the Italians of a bygone era, like my grandparents and your grandparents? I remember when we spoke to Milano commercials fondly or Unico. I remember those clearly,
Starting point is 00:20:56 but with respect to this, I don't want to draw parallels. I just want this thing to keep going. I like this. And the interesting thing is when you go to A&W, you're ordering, I'm assuming a burger, right? Yeah. But if you're a Hindu, you're not gonna eat beef. Why, is that true? Yeah, because it's a sacred animal for Hindus. Oh, oh yeah, I guess the cow.
Starting point is 00:21:20 The Sikh is different. Yeah, okay. I think Sikh, I think Sikh could eat meat, but certainly Hindus can eat beef Interesting. I believe Toronto homelessness Just keeps going up number go up even for that All-time high all this is truly an all-time high So 2021 was a point where they looked at and since 2021, it's more than doubled.
Starting point is 00:21:52 Since then like- That's a lot. That's a lot. Right? And it's not going to make it any easier moving forward because once you are set on the streets, the economy is not very strong as it is. So it's not like you're going find a job that's gonna prop you up I mean you probably can but the likelihood is slim in a strong economy now
Starting point is 00:22:11 You have the fact that the economy shit and you're competing with a bunch more homeless people So getting propped up and getting to a point where we're able then to afford your own place. It's gonna be challenging So these people are homeless. They're probably going to be in the state for quite a while. So they're going to need to be cared for. They're going to need to have the communities going to have to somehow provide for them and shit like. And it's just getting worse.
Starting point is 00:22:38 And Toronto, I'm not sure if you've gone there lately, but man, oh, man, everybody that goes there lately says it's a different place and where it was Take ten years ago. So it's just it's insane What's happened in a short period of time in Canada and in Toronto and I grew up in Toronto I grew at like where I grew up like where I started from first few years of my life I was a young and Lawrence and I could tell you right now I used to like I used to take the subway and take all this shit.
Starting point is 00:23:05 And it was, you can't do that now. If you can't have a 12-year-old go ahead and take the subway by themselves in the cities. No chance. No chance. I'm sure some do, but it's just not the same. It's just trending in the wrong direction. It's accelerating in the wrong direction. Everybody knows immigration destroyed people's lives in the country. You can dance around everybody knows immigration destroyed means losing the country.
Starting point is 00:23:25 They can dance around it all you want. It's a cultural problem. There's a respect for women problem. There's a religious fault lines problem. You name it. These are people who aren't interested in being Canadian. That's a fact of the matter. You can call me whatever you want, but this is, you know.
Starting point is 00:23:44 It's evidenced on display literally every time you turn on the TV, go outside, do whatever. You see it everywhere. Spare me the lecture. I don't care what you think. I don't know if you know what's happening in Hamilton with the homeless population, but it's increased a significant amount as well. I'm not sure if it was a clean double like Toronto, but I went to a wedding two weekends
Starting point is 00:24:04 ago down at Leuna Station, which is at the end of James street by the new go station. You know, Leona, Leona is the labor international union of North America. I said it's fine on the QEW. Yeah, Leona is like, they have a beautiful hall. My wife and I went to look at that hall. It's a little too dated for my taste, but if you're kind of into classic weddings, then yeah, you might like it. It's too expensive and the food's like pretty mid, in my opinion. Don't hold it against me.
Starting point is 00:24:29 Was it A&W? No. I forget what you call them, a certain kind of steak, but anyway. On the way down there, we had to drive past City Hall. What the homeless in Hamilton have done, because the city has basically said no more tenting in parks, you're not allowed anymore, they all set up shop in front of City Hall. There's a hundred tents, if not more, and it's like a full hobo market in front of City Hall. There's people giving out clothes, giving out water, they get a lot of support, it looks like from the community, and the police are apparently writing tickets to these people about having tents tents up as if they're ever going to be able to capitalize, collect, arrest.
Starting point is 00:25:09 Yeah, it's not about bleeding, taking blood from a stone. It's really tough. And so the politicians now, I think are starting to feel the heat a little bit on homelessness here because it's one thing to walk by it if you're walking your dog in the park and there's a guy bent over, strung out, but it's nothing entirely to have to hear them every day, see them every day. They talk to you every day. They know who you are. They're getting media attention, community support, and more.
Starting point is 00:25:36 If the homeless in Toronto ever organized like that, Len, they could do a lot of harm. You're talking blocking streets, blocking city services, blocking politicians, blocking highways. I don't know. You're saying that was like another Palestine protest. I mean, yeah, exactly, right? Except no third world flags, just a bunch of Canadian tire four pole tents.
Starting point is 00:25:59 So, you know, it's weird that this is going on, but I almost admire the organizational, the logistical chops of these guys to be able to put something like that together. I don't know if they did it independently or if it was organic, but it seems to be working here. There's more discussion about it now than there was certainly six months ago. But in Toronto, the infrastructure is already a lot more difficult. The traffic in Toronto is already basically impossible to navigate. Highways are already always in gridlock. City services are already
Starting point is 00:26:28 hard to get. Ambulances are already not answering calls. If you start organizing in a way that makes it difficult, you get a lot of attention really quickly. And there's too many people. Say you're a municipal councilor. We'll just start at that level of the global spectrum. Sure. What do you do? The answer is nothing. I don't know. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:26:49 Right? There's nothing. So provincially, what could you do? Say you're an MPP. Nothing. Right? Federally, you're an MP. What could you, like, there's- It's hard.
Starting point is 00:26:57 It's hard. I don't know. Right. So you have an individual that's down in their luck, either because of circumstances or they just don't have the ability to It's a combination of the two, right? The wherewithal is not what it should be. It's a trobe you there. It covers the whole spectrum. Right? So you have somebody they're just not able to work for and then they just, they're on the streets.
Starting point is 00:27:16 How the heck do you get them off the streets? I honestly don't have a hand to- A flood motor and a fire hose. I don't know. What else are you supposed to do? So this problem is just never going to go away. I don't know. What else are you supposed to do? So this problem, it's just never going to go away. I don't think so, honestly. And it will only get worse, right? Because it's like Bitcoiners. Today, there's so many Bitcoiners. I guarantee you tomorrow there's going to be more Bitcoiners than today. Today there's homeless. Tomorrow, I can guarantee you there's going to be a little bit more
Starting point is 00:27:40 homeless than there are today. And it will continually be like that. Who knew we had so much in common with the 10th aficionados out there. Number go up, man. Number go up. I like the thing, another number that's going up is tariffs in Canada. August 1st, 35%. Yeah, buddy. Across the board from today's number. Elbow by elbow is retired, boss. Well, you know what? Can Mike Myers help me with the tariffs? Like can we get a white My elbows are tired boss Let's
Starting point is 00:28:05 Get Mike Myers help me with the terrorists like you know Not Joey it's not just this like okay, because initially it was about fentanyl right it was a border to the border issue Okay, then they decided that we'll put more people on the border and okay, then it appeased Trump then the next thing comes up. It was the digital service tax Alright, we'll cancel it Okay, then appease them now. It's fucking dairy and fentanyl and who knows where to put like it just seems like it's something else right, so like there's seems like there's no appeasing him in terms of This red of all that stuff get rid of it
Starting point is 00:28:46 You still have tariffs coming on it. You'll still put it on what then we should be more independent National Post ran a story today or sorry globe mail ran a story today that we should align close more closely with China Instead of the United States make it out what you will that seems Interesting that what you will. That's going to piss off Trump even more. Interesting. Do you remember what we did with Huawei's? Oh yeah, of course, of course. Mike and Mike in the morning, I remember. Yeah, yeah. So I don't know if... The radio hosts? Yeah, I remember them. Yeah, yeah. I think that's why they're trying to get buddy-buddy with Europe because it seems like at least, you know, and I don't know what they're going to, what's the deal with this, what they're trying to achieve. I'm sorry, I know what they're trying to achieve, but I'm not sure how
Starting point is 00:29:28 it is they're gonna try to achieve it because what does Europe have to offer? Yeah. Like are they gonna buy your energy? Are we gonna bring it to market? I don't know. I don't agree with Mark Carney on everything, but he's not in an enviable position for sure. He's now, I think, I mean, I think he knew before, but my gut feeling is that he's trying to run this country like a business. It seems to me that his cabinet is not influencing a lot of his decisions, that the party's not influencing a lot of his—he doesn't view himself as a politician, certainly a long-term politician, so he's trying to do things that maybe other politicians may not consider popular. I applaud him for that.
Starting point is 00:30:09 I think we need that in the country. Whether I necessarily agree with the direction or not is a different story entirely. But that's the kind of attitude you need from a politician, in my view. And I think he's realizing now that there are a lot of weird niche problems here that most partner countries in trade don't like. Stockwell, they brought this up on Friday that New Zealand has also mentioned our dairy issue. Other trade partners when he was in office also mentioned our supply management stuff and other weird- How come they didn't do anything about it?
Starting point is 00:30:38 Defensive tariffs. It's not easy. It's not popular. It's not politically feasible. And when you're a politician, that's what matters. And while I do applaud Stockwell for bringing it up, and I think they're thinking about it more seriously now, and I think Mark Carney's thinking about it seriously now, I don't know that Stockwell Day was in the same position that Mark Carney is to make a difference, right? He was never prime minister, and although Harper was, who knows what other priorities they had.
Starting point is 00:31:04 Now, I mean, I keep on hearing the elbows up and tariffs negotiations are the priority. Well, are you going to sacrifice all Canadians at the altar of supply management for Quebec? I can't imagine that that would be politically popular if it ever became a talking point. As we know, you can only control the information so much, eventually people are going to go, man, I wouldn't mind paying a couple bucks less for milk if it meant that I also got off some of these stupid tariffs and could buy American, Mexican, whatever, strawberries again. People care about this stuff more than I think they did before.
Starting point is 00:31:42 While Elbows Up was great during the election, let's face it, it refocuses people on something that they otherwise would not have been paying attention to, like the cost of milk. If you hear supply management on TV, the first thing you do is look it up. Oh, there's basically a cabal of milk gangsters who tell me how much cheese I can make and I got to throw the rest out and they got to charge eight bucks a brick or whatever, right? People don't, they don't want to see that in good times. We're in bad times now. They definitely don't want to see it now.
Starting point is 00:32:11 And they wouldn't have even, it wouldn't have never been on their radar five years ago. Now they're refocusing the way they think. So we'll see how it goes then, but I, you know, I think that these are things we should get rid of. It's better for Canadians not to have these things. Canadian companies, I don't know. The milk cartel, I don't know.
Starting point is 00:32:29 It's funny, to give you an idea of how weird this is, I have a friend from the UK who moved here a few years ago. And one of the first things he told me, he noticed, he thought was weird when him and his now wife were watching hockey at Leaf games. Do you know what's on the boards as a sponsor? No, cool.
Starting point is 00:32:49 Milk. And he's like, how the fuck can milk be sponsoring the Toronto Maple Leafs? And I had to explain to him, dairy here is not like dairy other places. We got big dairy. Dairy is a political force here. It's an economic force here. It's blah, blah, blah. It's completely alien to other people. No one else does this. We refuse to compete.
Starting point is 00:33:13 We don't compete on telcos or cable or internet or dairy. Everything from cheese to bandwidth, we just refuse to have any competition. Canadians eventually are going to grow tired of this if they haven't already. Like I said, they're now looking at this probably for the first time in a lot of cases, but it's not going to go well if you do a little bit of digging into this, right? I think most people would realize that. It's been like this for a long time. You had both the blues and the reds. They've had carte blanche to do what they want. And they didn't do it. I know. need go back cuz they people back and on top of that now you have tariffs coming in
Starting point is 00:33:49 shortly after The stampede was finished somebody was able to track the Plane of our Carnegie conflict. Yeah, he's now in Australia. Yeah right, that's basically as far away that you could get from Canada like and they say you know using carbon and a carbon emitting and all this it's bad but for the most part a lot of us are doing this for jobs right
Starting point is 00:34:15 we have to to drive from home then and sometimes pick up our kids from school so the alternatives are we have none just the way the system is set up the way the country is designed, the way our lives are structured, it's not possible to get away from this. But this is part of our life, we have to do it. We're not doing this for fun. We're not hopping on a plane
Starting point is 00:34:36 and going to the other side of the world for shits and giggles. We're trying to get the fucking work. So you gotta like the message is gonna be We're doing this we're gonna work hard, but you just can't hop on a plane and disappear That's doesn't seem like especially with tariffs looming again. It just it seems like it's giving the wrong message But it's whatever they could do what they want I don't do And that's it That's why when I say I don't give a fuck I truly don't give a fuck at this point
Starting point is 00:35:06 Whatever happens happens is in my mind up in my happy space because I know I Have an idea how the rest of my life is gonna play out and regardless of however things happen I believe I have the ability to control things for myself like I could have things play out the way I think it should play out. Let it happen. I don't care if things either burn or it moves. I don't give a shit at this point because I'm happy. Yeah, exactly. Nothing else you can do. Are we done with time? I have no idea what time it is. I can't see anything. It's 1.35 in, so wait. Let's call it. Let's call it. Yeah. Come back Wednesday or Thursday for me and learning Bitcoin guys.
