Starting point is 00:00:00 Back at this, we're going to be talking about the rest of the news, the notable news, notable North, notable international. And these are stories that make us so very bullish. Boomer, appreciate you coming on and continuing on with this. Without you, I'd be doing this alone. It would be a heck of a show. Not really. Piece of shit, actually. So it's actually a heck of a show.
Starting point is 00:00:20 I miss those old. Remember a couple of a year ago, maybe maybe two years ago now used to do those shows about the equities yeah yeah yeah those were great ran out of time for that and well you know whatever you did like those were by yourself and they were great like they were short like 15 minute shows i could do something for 13 15 something like that but yeah anything beyond 20 minutes i can't shift it he He's the man. He's the guy that can just... But I suspect it's heavily edited too.
Starting point is 00:00:49 I don't think he's rambling for an hour and a half. That's a special skill. To be able to talk to yourself for an hour or two. I can just imagine all the spit coming out of his mouth as he's talking because he's just so animated and so passionate. His screen is just fucking full of saliva.
Starting point is 00:01:11 You're talking about Peter Sch schiff right yeah did i ever tell you that that's kind of how i got into bitcoin was peter schiff tell me the story i think you told me i was a listener of his podcast for years like i i like those old guys like a friend of the show mike campbell yeah like i've been i've been listening to mike campbell for 15 years peter schiff probably around the same amount of time and and just like his constant you know sound money for spent you know federal reserve is a is a fraud all that stuff that was really what kind of led me on the path of you know learning a lot about gold and then ultimately the bitcoin yeah well we're happy to have you part of the bitcoin camp as a result thank you peter for sending boomer in the right direction boomer pentagon you heard about this story right how they suck at doing audits and
Starting point is 00:01:56 for people who aren't aware the pentagon they have about an 800 billion dollar budget annually and well they get audited also on an annual basis because let's be honest they get allocated this money they're not going to do it without any oversight and looking at what's going on in the granular details of how they're spending the money but some of the money that they have been spending has been unaccounted for in a recent audit and as for there's you know it's not 800 billion that's lost as a portion of that so just some of that money so they do say that with these audits this is the seventh audit in a row that it's failed and they say with this last one they're making some progress and things are getting better and they say that they're going
Starting point is 00:02:36 to come to a point by 2028 that they'll have a clean audit sheet 2020 so they're saying that they're going to fail again for the next three more audits before they finally get to right they're setting us up for failure it's almost like listening to a budgetary projection when you hear like a provincial government whatever say oh we're gonna reach um we're gonna balance the books by 2029 or something and then in the meantime some black swan event comes on and he just 2039 we meant by the way like these guys are sending us up like they're saying okay we're gonna fuck up the next three or four audits but we'll get it right by then and by that time you have the ukrainian z guy have this mega yacht and he's fucking enjoying life in the meantime and it's
Starting point is 00:03:21 like stories like this like it makes me so fucking bullish on bitcoin because again it's not just transparent you can't fucking debase this shit the same way you can us dollar the most surprising thing about that is that eight audits ago they actually passed so if they failed this last one but they actually passed one like that to me that that was my most surprising thing about what you just said there. Of course, there's no accountability. There's nothing. They're going to keep failing these things.
Starting point is 00:03:55 I don't think that 2017 was the last time they passed it. I think that they have never passed an audit period. That makes more sense. That's even worse. When they started doing these audits, and I can't believe they started doing this only in 2017 was when they started doing this thing, they failed
Starting point is 00:04:13 every single one. I'm not going to say that there's money laundering going on here or something, but this was one of the biggest line items for the United States government for years. Yeah. And when you give them, they're not giving them a blank check, but they probably ask, we need this amount of money.
Starting point is 00:04:31 Okay, we'll allocate that amount of money to you or let's talk about it. We'll try to find a happy medium. It's not like a small chunk of change. Like we're talking hundreds of billions of dollars of today's money every year the united states military is the envy of the world in terms of its strength and ability to react and to exert its force on anybody else and it's done so because of all the money that's been poured into it over the years the rnd the recruitment all that fucking shit and now they can't fucking figure out how they're spending the money. The consultants.
Starting point is 00:05:09 That's insulting. I would say. All the consultants, right? Yeah, that's insulting. It's not just the soldiers' salaries that we're talking about here. We're talking about who knows what is in here, right?
Starting point is 00:05:25 Yeah. It's just when you hear shit like this, I can't get bullish enough on Bitcoin. If anything, you'd expect them to understand what they're spending their money on for the military, but whatever. The money goes somewhere. Where it's going, we don't know.
Starting point is 00:05:43 We'll check out the docs later to see. Always been that way as well, too. If you were to go back hundreds of years and the British Royal Navy, I bet you they never passed an audit either. That's a good point. You know what? I hope there's a party going on at Z-Man's boat because I want to go to that fucking mega yacht and party up. Maybe that's like the 100K party. You know, Sailor's talking about having a 100K party.
Starting point is 00:06:07 Maybe Z-Man and Sailor will do it together. A few last words, fatigues, though. You can't go to the – I'm not talking about Sailor. I'm talking to Z-Man. You can't fucking show up to a fucking party without wearing those fatigues that you're well-known to be wearing. So please continue to wear them. Anyway, let's go there's some canadian news and i want to talk about something that is truly
Starting point is 00:06:28 late stage fiat and dollarama has quietly started removing a whole bunch of self-checkout stations from their ontario store locations and this they're not the only ones that have done this walmart giant tiger canadian tire they've been all doing the same thing they've been removing some self-checkout stations at specific stores and the reason for this well theft is the one that immediately comes to mind but they say that it's to maximize performance that's what they say whatever i think it's the reality is it's some fuckers out there they're stealing shit and they're ruining it for everybody because self-checkout can be a quicker quicker hope like the process can be better than using the regular
Starting point is 00:07:19 checkout because it's a you know depending on how competent you are with the self-checkout and they're taking that shit away and now they're just lake stage fiat. You know what I mean? These fucking thieves, they fucking ruin it for everyone. I've seen it before. I've been at the grocery store where I've seen people do the self-checkout thing. And when it comes to the time to pay, they just grab their bag and walk away. That's fucking.
Starting point is 00:07:45 And the poor kid who's working there, you know, he's probably 17, 18 years old. What's he going to do? Is he going to stop anybody? It's like, no. Right? Like, it's not his job, right? A hundred percent. It's a grown ass man that's running away with groceries and you're going to get some teenager to go hunt him down.
Starting point is 00:08:04 Like, no, it doesn't add up. No're right it's it's late-stage fiat and it's easy to blame the thieves and i do like it's against the law like you don't do that shit but my god i know people are struggling people are struggling right yeah and and but this is dollarama we're talking about i know they do sell i know it's sad right yeah it's just so sad i'm not sure if you heard about this one but canada has decided to cancel their automatic 10-year multiple entry visas for people that want to visit canada and up until now and i had no idea this was the case that they were issuing these automatic 10-year multiple entry visas i always was under the impression
Starting point is 00:08:52 that they were doing it the old way which was i guess mothballed where you could just simply apply for a single or multiple entry depending on which one you want they would assess you but they weren't giving these 10 euro, just automatically it looks like. And for people who are unaware what this is, this allows for people to come to Canada, for some countries that need visas to come here, and they could leave and enter multiple times
Starting point is 00:09:17 over the validity of that visa. Okay. And so the immigration officials now will have to determine whether a single or multiple entry visa will have to determine whether a single or multiple entry visa will have to be issued and also for the duration of it the validity period is going to be determined by the immigration official so they're going to be looking at the purpose of the visit the funds the medical conditions the ties to the home country and so much more
Starting point is 00:09:38 i'm surprised they haven't been doing this all along i'm just shocked that so i know we had a huge influx of temporary everything into Canada. We're talking foreign workers, students. But it looks like even visitors, too, might have made up a measurable amount of newcomers to Canada. Or not newcomers, temporary people into Canada. Canada's now, they're revamping their immigration system. And they're closing the doors on a lot of this. And they're going to be reducing the amount of,
Starting point is 00:10:07 I know there's a different category, permanent residents coming to Canada. They're going to be reducing that number significantly to the point of, I think it's going to be around 350,000, almost 400,000, not quite there. That's going to be issued every year, permanent residents in Canada, which is kind of in line with previous years
Starting point is 00:10:22 before this all went very high. So they heard and they're reacting. That's all I got to say. Not sure if you want to add any more color. Well, this 10 year multiple entry visa, is there some sort of restriction of how long each entry can be? Yeah. Because, you know, just hearing it i wonder if this one if the juice
Starting point is 00:10:48 is worth the squeeze so you're here up until generally it's six months and then you have to do something so are people here for six months going back to wherever for a week coming back for another six months that i have a problem with on the other hand if somebody was here for a week, coming back for another six months, that I have a problem with. On the other hand, if somebody was here for a week and goes back to wherever they are for six months and then come back for a week and then go back for another six months, I have no problem with that whatsoever. So to me, it really depends. And if we're going to allocate a bunch of government resources to kind of change all this stuff and to catch all these people and to change all these rules, I wonder if that's worth the time.
Starting point is 00:11:38 Theoretically, if they have – I'm going to use somebody from India as an example. And if they have a multiple entry visa to Canada and they somehow got one to the United States, I would imagine it would be challenging to do if you have zero ties to the United States. But let's say they have a family there, a child or whatever,
Starting point is 00:11:56 and they have a visa to the United States. Theoretically, they could come here to Canada for five months and change, enter the United States for some time, then come back to Canada and just keep repeating the process back and forth and then legally they're they have status here and you're able to stay and they're not overstaying their welcome whatsoever legally so that's yeah they can do this it just i just had no idea they were automatically giving these 10-year ones and
Starting point is 00:12:21 that i just found that to be like interesting more than anything but like i just want to go back they have heard justin trudeau was on twitter saying that they're they've heard all these complaints there are people that are i forget the exact wording he said and i don't want to put word in his mouth but they're trying to revamp the system to try to make it better in the future and try to ensure that there's no more, no less people playing the system, so to speak. There's so many things, so many issues with the immigration system in this country. And there seems to be such a public outcry now for change that I'm concerned that it's just going to be a clusterfuck and that nothing is going to actually get fixed and things might actually get worse.
Starting point is 00:13:12 I'm concerned. I, okay. So obviously they're, they're closing the doors or reducing a lot of people coming in. There are certain categories. Yeah. There's the one thing that's happening right now,
Starting point is 00:13:28 there's an influx of people that are making claims for asylum in Canada. Whoever gives them this type of information, you should do it. Because last I heard... Gosh, I'm trying to find... I think I had notes on this. Oh, yeah, here it is.
Starting point is 00:13:43 The processing backlog right now for the refugee system is around 260,000 cases. To date, well, up until September, 135,000 people claimed for asylum in Canada. So if you look at the backlog. Do you know how many cases somebody can get through in a month? Very little. How often are we... It's small. If you look at 10 years ago, the number of asylum claims in a year was around 15,000 or so.
Starting point is 00:14:17 Now we're going to be close to 200,000 claims this year, and next year is going to be a lot as well. So they don't have the resources to process them quickly. And even if they were to allocate resources there, it would take a long time to figure things out. When somebody makes a claim for asylum, it's not like, oh, we could do this quickly. What is the claim? And then they have to investigate if there's validity to it,
Starting point is 00:14:41 because then they have to do whatever investigation they could back in the country where they came from to get to ensure that their claim is legitimate or not that takes time effort money resources all that shit it's nothing is command power yeah but so what i'm trying to get to is the people that made the claim for asylum here a lot of them were students or temporary foreign workers or whatever. They're not most likely refugees. They're probably economic refugees. They're not legitimate refugees. Once their case is heard and then denied
Starting point is 00:15:15 and then they're asked to go back and eventually forced to go back, if that's the course of action, the country, their home nation, is not going to welcome them with open arms because they turned their back to that country saying we're refugees.
Starting point is 00:15:32 When they have to go get any sort of services from that country, do you think that the person going to be processing whatever applications is going to move it along quickly? No. No. These guys are going to have to the back of the fucking... No. Maybe.
Starting point is 00:15:46 They're going to... These guys are going to have to live the rest of their lives with that stigma attached to them, and the government is going to apply that fucking thing, and they're going to have a tough time moving. They've been given shitty fucking advice. I agree with that. They've been given shitty fucking advice.
Starting point is 00:16:03 I'll 1,000% agree with that.'ve been given shitty fucking advice I'll 1000% agree with that but think about it if you Len you declared asylum somewhere in England you went to England asylum Canada is prejudice against NHL
Starting point is 00:16:20 94 players and you're afraid I know where you're going and then you decide to come know where you're going. And then you decide to come back. Do you think anybody would care? Not in Canada, but Canada you can't grease palms to get shit done.
Starting point is 00:16:35 The level of corruption over here is significantly less than other parts of the world, where if you want to pay a police officer to beat somebody you can't do that here there's no way you could do that maybe you can maybe i'm living have my head in my ass but the reality it's not the same as other parts of the world so if you're living in that type of environment and you turn your back on them and then you try to get some help from them moving forward and say fuck you man maybe it depends where it's maybe it depends what country you're talking about but but i honestly
Starting point is 00:17:13 think a lot of these countries that people are coming from there's not a whole lot of infrastructure in place to track these people you know they're gonna they're to show up with a passport with, you know, we'll use India as an example, to show up with an Indian passport at the port in Delhi. They're going to let them in. And they're in. They're never going to be tracked. I don't know. Some places I'm with you. And if there's certain, if you're the nephew of the, the,
Starting point is 00:17:46 the president's whoever, right. If you're, and you did that, then yeah, you might get into a little bit of trouble. If you're from a smaller country and there's some political issue there and you'd be,
Starting point is 00:17:58 your family's kind of well-known. Yeah. But I think by and large, I'll explain later on behind the scenes what because there's more to this i think but um let's move on stats can has reported that 56 percent of criminal charges that were laid by ontario police never made it to trial that was from the year 2022 2023 so people that were charged that year 2022 2023 charges 56 of them never made it a trial the charges were either stayed or withdrawn what the fuck does stayed mean well it's when the judge or crown decides that it would be bad for the justice
Starting point is 00:18:39 system for the case to continue you're triggering you're triggering me a little bit, Len. I've gotten two speeding tickets in the past month. Two. Two of them. And I have a car that barely goes the speed limit. So to me, to be able to accelerate to a point where I'm able to get a speeding ticket, I'm actually achieving something.
Starting point is 00:19:03 No, it is triggering. Why are they putting speed cameras all over the place and I got to pay $115 fine when people are out there stealing cars and they're getting off? Yeah. And we know the answer why. We know the answer.
Starting point is 00:19:21 Because I have money. Wow. I think the system is over. Not that I have a lot, but. It's overloaded for certain things, and they just want to, you know, they'd rather brush under the system. It's just, it's trending in the wrong direction. Isaac's saying it's revenue generation. Yes. It's trending in the wrong direction.
Starting point is 00:19:38 And, like, when you hear stuff like this, do you feel safer now than you did years ago? And I would argue no definitely not right like people that are on bail or they were charged with something they're out in the fucking streets they're doing what i like they're there and they're out in the public and they could do they continue doing harm to other individuals right like i hear stories i agree in san salvador i when i talk to people that visit that city they say that it's safer there now to walk the streets day and night than it is toronto and toronto has a reputation of being very safe and comparatively it is a very safe city but san salvador where it came from to where it is now, it's incredible how quickly things have changed.
Starting point is 00:20:28 And by using that same metric, incredibly how things have changed here in certain cities in Canada. And it's unfortunately going the wrong way. It's going the wrong way very quickly.
Starting point is 00:20:43 I wonder how... Is there a breakdown of the crimes committed? I didn't get that, no. I bet you a lot of it is auto theft. I bet you that's a pretty big part of it. These crimes where there's no perceived victim. You know, like if you can make an insurance claim on your car, then there's kind of like this, okay, well, there's no real victim.
Starting point is 00:21:12 It's bullshit. I don't believe that. But I do believe there's a lot of that going on. For sure. And it's not the cop's fault. It's not the cop's fault. That's why I have a dash cam. I have one. My car is old as shit but i never know when somebody's gonna to do some uh insurance dash cam faraday bag you you got
Starting point is 00:21:33 you never know well the dash cam makes sense you know if you're driving about and somebody does anything and it's going to be your word versus that person. Video evidence basically throws all that out the window and it's indisputable at that point. And if somebody says, fuck you, it doesn't matter what you say, this is it. And if you're in the right, you're in the right. If you're in the wrong, you're in the wrong. And I've been driving for 30 years. I'm always in the right.
Starting point is 00:21:59 It's sad to see how far Canada has fallen with this type of thing. Yeah. Well, here's another one. There was a shootout in Toronto. Not sure if you saw the movie. I did see the movie. This is a Toronto recording studio. 23 people arrested from this.
Starting point is 00:22:15 16 guns taken. Over 100 shots fired. This was Remembrance Day at 11.20 p.m. It wasn't the morning and the police got tipped off on it because somebody posted on tiktok or instagram or something of people dancing with their guns and and did you see that one of the people arrested was a 16 year old youth male from brampton and he is suspect for a homicide of Matthew Burgart back in April of this year
Starting point is 00:22:50 he suspected he was involved with the murder of this dude and this guy this 16 year old dude was charged with second-degree murder he was out in the streets firing guns 100 shots he was one of the people Charles a fucking zoo at some like
Starting point is 00:23:06 some areas i don't remember a couple of years ago florida man was like a meme you know what is that crazy florida man it's just like the craziest shit you could possibly think of it's like oh it's got to be from florida because florida is where the crazy shit well well now it's brampton man the the craziest shit is always fucking brampton now like why you see such a nice place well we're closing the doors in some sense we'll just leave it like that um this is an interesting one the city of toronto they are now requiring people that own homes and they're renting them out. And if they are going to be renovating their house or their unit, they are now going to be forced to provide tenants with temporary housing or cover the costs. So if you own a place, renting it out, and you do renovations,
Starting point is 00:23:59 and you're kicking the people out, well, you're going to be in a hook for providing them either temporary housing or covering the costs. That's for people in Toronto. And they have to apply for $700 per unit for a license. That's for proof of proposed construction or maintenance work on top of all that.
Starting point is 00:24:20 Like, homes used to be an amazing, it still is to a degree, an amazing place to park your money because they don't make them as fast as people are coming in so demand goes up and especially if it's in a area that is desirable price goes up even higher but here you go like it it's it's a shit coin right like it's truly a fucking shit coin now. Yeah, especially rentals. Joey talks about it all the time, about how owning a home
Starting point is 00:24:51 does a lot of things for a society. If you're in a society with a bunch of people who own the place that they live, people are going to take better care of that neighborhood. There's going to be a lot fewer problems if everybody has a say in it. But now it's become so bloody expensive that people are forced to rent longer and longer and longer.
Starting point is 00:25:18 And you guys talk about it all the time. Like the block of voters who are renters is growing faster than the block of voters who are owners. So these politicians now are putting in things like this, right? You put it, put it. It's not good.
Starting point is 00:25:39 The, uh, scale will be tipped into the other direction and they could easily outvote the homeowners now there's a stat that came out today and this is for united states i don't know what it is in canada but they say but the average home buyer in the united states is now 56 years old last year 2023 was 49 years old so it's gone up by seven years in a one-year period of time and this is of course at an all-time high
Starting point is 00:26:05 and the reason for this is because the price of homes in the united states and just about everywhere in the world is so high comparative to what your wages are that it's getting harder and harder to buy a home unless you have access to parents family or a home itself that you could draw upon as a way to... Study Bitcoin, guys. This is definitely... You're in the right place. If you're here on a Monday night or you're listening to this on your way to work
Starting point is 00:26:36 or whatever a couple of days from now, keep going. Keep listening. Download some more. Listen to some more. No. Store value in real estate especially rentals uh i would not do that if i were you not financial advice have you met this gentleman the greatest i don't know who it is probably Big Red yeah it's probably one of the guys from Ottawa alright well you know what
Starting point is 00:27:11 next time you go say hello to Boomer in person and mention your name as the greatest maybe you could then attach a name to it I have a couple of ideas who it might be with a nickname like that he at least thinks he's the greatest. Did you hear that Taylor Swift was in Toronto?
Starting point is 00:27:29 Yeah, I did. I saw they shut down which... I think it was the Gardner. Either one. It was a major road in Toronto. So she could get from point A, I guess the airport, to point B, her hotel.
Starting point is 00:27:46 And they had this motorcade blocking off the roads the whole nine yards. It wasn't done in the middle of the night, like it's three o'clock in the morning, where few people are driving. This was in the middle of fucking day. People are trying to get to and from work. It was done on purpose, Len. This was premeditated.
Starting point is 00:28:03 It's fucking bullshit. And on top of that, the city of Toronto decided to move the homeless away from the area in which she was going to be. So it's similar to California in which they fucking moved all the
Starting point is 00:28:17 homeless when she came. If the homeless ain't good enough for her, it ain't good enough for us as well. I got nothing against Taylor Swift. A couple of her songs are catchy little, you know, they're cute.
Starting point is 00:28:32 They're cute little songs. Have you ever heard her talk? I don't know. I don't, I don't know what her opinion on anything is. I don't know. I'm not a big social media guy. I'm not a big,
Starting point is 00:28:42 like celebrity follower and stuff like that. She's been around for 10, 15 years now. It's been a while. I can't name a fucking song. I don't know anything about her other than she makes a couple of songs. The idea that Toronto can be shut down
Starting point is 00:28:59 for days because a singer is coming in. With respect, I don't think Toronto was shut down down or even an area i think that they just relocated the homeless from there so they were they were able to strategically have the riffraff the things you wouldn't want to showcase and put some like the people that live here that pay bills for these people to to do their job they go to work they pick up their kids they go to the grocery store they they live and breathe they are the fucking city and they have to deal with the homeless on a daily basis now if somebody comes in
Starting point is 00:29:39 a celebrity i don't give a fuck who it is. And then you got to move this shit out because you have to have a better image. Fuck that. This is got to be, if it's for everybody, it's for everybody. How much money was spent and how much time was spent dealing this for Taylor Swift? And I got nothing against Taylor Swift, but, and, and I do know that the city was kind of shut down a little bit because i talked
Starting point is 00:30:06 to my buddy was it i didn't know that yeah he lives right downtown shout out nick he's not listening he's a no-coiner i'm working on him he's a good guy he's just no corner he lives right downtown and he was telling me yeah the place is fucking batshit crazy because taylor Swift is in town and everything every every it just like completely chaos downtown for Taylor Swift the only thing I could relate it to it was I think 2010 or 2011 2010 I think they had the g7 or g8 meeting in Toronto I'm not sure if you remember the fake lake was done in Muskoka at that time. They had it in Toronto so they actually sectioned Toronto.
Starting point is 00:30:49 The tear gas, right? Didn't they open fire on a bunch of protesters? Yeah. The area in which they were holding these G7 or G8 meetings, whatever, it was a no-go zone. If you worked in there, and i know people that did
Starting point is 00:31:05 you couldn't go to work that day like those days they were forced to use up vacation time for that because they couldn't go in so like it's almost along those lines now i get it those people you know i don't even put them at a higher level than total ship but like you know i mean like come on canada is so fucking big. We can just do shit anywhere, not impact people. Nobody's better than anybody else. We're all the fucking same. But I guess we're not. Bread and circus, Len. It is. That is exactly
Starting point is 00:31:34 what it is. A good point. It's just bread and circus. The worst things get in the economy and you were talking before about homelessness and we were joking about Brampton and stuff. As things get worse, they're going
Starting point is 00:31:50 to shove this bread and circus down our throats harder and harder and harder to stop looking at the real problem. You know, and steady Bitcoin guys. Did you see that the Santa Claus parade in Toronto toronto yeah they have to use a
Starting point is 00:32:07 go fund me so bread and circus is only to a point because even the ones running these events they don't have the ability to fund them so that's not the right kind of bread and circus though so think of the history the longevity of the toronto santa Claus parade. And now they have to go out and solicit for funding through a GoFundMe campaign just to pay for this parade for this year. That's fucking nuts. Man, oh man.
Starting point is 00:32:35 It's... I don't believe it. With all the tax revenue they're getting from the fucking rain in Toronto, you'd think they'd be able to afford a Santa Claus parade. Hasn't rained for a little bit. We got a little bit of drizzle, so maybe they're... Anyways, Boomer, I'm not sure if you have any stories you want to bring up.
Starting point is 00:32:55 I think I'm tapped out here with stories from the notable side of things. Nothing from Chicago today? Nothing from New York? No, I'll leave I know you have a no pointer in New York. No, no, I'll leave this to you, man. This is your side.
Starting point is 00:33:07 Do you want to talk about the New York, Chicago, or even a no corner? Oh yeah. Yeah. I did nominate a no crime. Yeah. Go ahead.
Starting point is 00:33:13 Am I the only fan of the show? That's a little bit upset that big corner of the week and no corner of the week. Like how long has it been like six, six months, eight months, nine months. Should we reinstate that? Yes. should we reinstate that yes you should
Starting point is 00:33:27 reinstate that all right we'll have to re-instate that and no corner of the week i don't have a big corner of the week i guess i'll joey's wife joey's wife is big corner of the week okay yeah so joey's wife is big corner of the week. And Joey, congratulations to Joey. Yes. Big Corners of the Week. Joey and his wife. And a little girl. And a little girl. Yes.
Starting point is 00:33:51 Yeah. Big Corners of the Week right there. No Corner of the Week, Scotty Pippen, who claimed this weekend while on a stage with Michael Saylor at the Cantor Fitzgerald kind of conference or whatever they had that he met Satoshi Nakamoto in 1993. And he considers Satoshi a friend of his. What the fuck? I don't know about you, Len,
Starting point is 00:34:19 but I do remember it. What's really sad is that in 1993, Scotty Pippen was perhaps the best basketball player in the world, not named Michael Jordan. Okay. I can't argue that because I don't have enough data. Okay. He might've been the second best player in the world at that time.
Starting point is 00:34:38 Defensively, he's the best, best defender I've ever seen. I'm a basketball fan since I was a kid. Nobody was as good a defender as scotty pippen in my opinion um rodman was a little bit of a run one trick pony rodman was a great rebounder like fantastic rodman was it was it was a savant rebounder but scotty pippen could guard a point guard or he could or he could guard a center scotty Pippen was just like a jack of all
Starting point is 00:35:06 trades on the defensive end. He was a very good offensive player but he was like S-tier defender. I highly doubt that in 1993 he was hanging out with Satoshi. I don't know
Starting point is 00:35:22 how Saylor didn't intervene. I know he gave him a look. Like, what the fuck is he talking about look? But I'm surprised he didn't say something and just have him elaborate a little further on that. Like, if somebody comes in and says, yeah, I met Satoshi. It doesn't matter fucking year. I'm going to fucking...
Starting point is 00:35:39 Okay, let's hear about it. Now, are we going to say it's before 2008? You know, we're entering a territory where it you know, it's bullshit, but now it's fucking bullshit. So I want to hear your story. He had an opportunity to have him elaborate. He did it.
Starting point is 00:35:59 So, you know what, Michael Saylor, you fucked up. You dropped the ball. Maybe he was thinking too much about buying more Bitcoin. But say something next time, buddy. Say something. drop the ball. Maybe he was thinking too much about buying more Bitcoin. Say something next time, buddy. Say something. But these celebrities that are going to come in, I think we're going to see more and more of that. I know we're joking about Scottie Pippen right now.
Starting point is 00:36:15 There's going to be a lot more that are going to be popping up almost. Pippen was saying that he had satoshi visit him in a dream this was back in september and he said that the price of bitcoin on november something would be he gave a price he was only off by a few days so maybe maybe i'm the shit maybe i'm the no corner of the week i'm believing Scotty Pippen. Maybe Scotty Pippen is friends with Satoshi.
Starting point is 00:36:47 I don't know. But to visit in a dream. Come on. Yeah, who knows? But I heard that. I remember, sorry, I'm reading the tweet. Fuck, that was close. In terms of his prediction, yeah.
Starting point is 00:37:01 I'm not sure if you have any other like discussions any other topics one quick thing do you think we get to 100k us before the end of the year i know you're not a price guy and i'm only asking because a couple of friends of ours have a have a bet so julian figueroa and brendan from green candles have a have a bet about uh 100k by the end of the year. I think it's pretty close to 50-50, right? I'm going to say yeah. I'm going to say it's like yeah, we'll be above. There's so much positive momentum right now
Starting point is 00:37:36 and then we have Trump. As we get closer to him getting actually sworn in, I think we'll be over 100k. I don't know if we'll finish the year over 100k but i think that we'll probably i'm pretty confident that we'll at least go go to 100k and then then drop down come back down i i i i'm i'm we'll see i'm not i'm a little bit of a technical analysis guy like i like my charts so i have a feeling not, I'm a little bit of a technical analysis guy. Like I, I like my charts. So I have a feeling that we might have a little bit of resistance at a hundred K,
Starting point is 00:38:08 but I don't know. We'll have to consult Pippin's dreams. We'll have to ask Scottie Pippin. Yeah. Yeah. All right, Boomer. That's it.
Starting point is 00:38:17 I appreciate you subbing in for joy. And it's an hour. Thanks for having me. Yeah, brother. It's been great. Any last final words before we sign off? Study Bitcoin guys, study Bitcoin, brother. It's been great. Any last final words before we sign off? Study Bitcoin, guys.
Starting point is 00:38:27 Study Bitcoin. Go to a local meetup if you have one in your town. And if there's not one in your town, start one. Make friends with Bitcoiners. Talk about Bitcoin with farmers. Just try to move this thing forward. Get people on board. We are winning.
Starting point is 00:38:43 We are winning boomer. With that, take care and don't be a cock.
