As restrictions on gatherings in parks have eased across Australia, people who haven't had a picnic in decades have spent the weekend remembering why they stopped having picnics in the first place. Thousands of people said that they were glad to have the freedom to once again sit uncomfortably in a park and get bitten by ants, but they were now happy for the government to take that freedom away again. A bored man has been at home for so long he is thinking about treating himself to a day or two at work.
